- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to a natty to carrying each
- 0:10Speaker 1: other on the air.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Flynn is back to throw for the end zone goal.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Cane Studio, it's Off the Bench.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I can't stand it.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Welcome back in OTB.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Hour number three here live from the Raising Cane Studio.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Wednesday shows kick ass. They're brought to you by Poncho. PonchoOutdoors.com
- 1:02Speaker 2: slash Off The Bench. Jake Flynn, Alondra, and Luke here
- 1:06Speaker 2: with you on this Wednesday morning.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Should have never put him on a panel.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Should have never done it.
- 1:15Speaker 5: You let it get to your head.
- 1:17Speaker 4: He thinks he's a Fabio now.
- 1:19Speaker 6: When it's the number one seller, what are you going
- 1:22Speaker 6: to do? How is it not going to go to
- 1:23Speaker 6: your head?
- 1:24Speaker 2: It is the number one seller.
- 1:26Speaker 6: It's not a big deal.
- 1:27Speaker 4: That light purple joint, you ain't getting that one. She gone.
- 1:32Speaker 6: They come back, though. Make sure you're in line.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You better be in line. You better be on the
- 1:36Speaker 2: website when it comes back. There was a medium at...
- 1:41Speaker 2: I just bought it.
- 1:42Speaker 6: Yeah, why not?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Flip that seriously like it's like there's there was one
- 1:45Speaker 2: I was like hell I got sons somebody wears a
- 1:48Speaker 2: medium flip it one of y'all quadruple the cost little
- 1:50Speaker 2: hoodie wore it to the Louisiana Tech game I bet
- 1:53Speaker 2: people were pissed they are I thought they were sold
- 1:56Speaker 2: out I was like they are but somebody I guess
- 1:58Speaker 2: maybe found one I even went as far as to
- 2:01Speaker 2: like reach out to Jacob and I was like hey
- 2:03Speaker 2: wink wink where's a purple one right like the light
- 2:07Speaker 2: purple yep and it's not because they made 10 of them.
- 2:12Speaker 6: And there just wasn't many No.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So if you see one, this is dead serious. If
- 2:17Speaker 2: you see one of the LSU shirts on poncho, buy it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Because it's not going to be there long. LSU sells
- 2:23Speaker 2: out faster than any other college, and that's actually factual.
- 2:26Speaker 4: That's not Flynn facts.
- 2:27Speaker 2: That's actual facts.
- 2:29Speaker 6: Yeah. Probably because of me.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Sex sells.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Let me just tell you, I just gave George Paul Thomas, GPT,
- 2:38Speaker 6: I just gave it a piece of my mind.
- 2:40Speaker 5: You yelled at it?
- 2:41Speaker 6: I yelled at it. I told her to check its
- 2:43Speaker 6: numbers again because I'd already told her to verify.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 6: And I said, they are so wrong. And it said,
- 2:51Speaker 6: you're right. I made a significant mistake here. I generated
- 2:55Speaker 6: the graphic before I actually verified every player's 2026 totals.
- 3:00Speaker 6: And then I said, do I need to double check
- 3:02Speaker 6: everything you do? You made me look like an idiot.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 6: On radio.
- 3:05Speaker 7: Right.
- 3:06Speaker 5: It did.
- 3:07Speaker 6: And I said, you should not have to double check
- 3:09Speaker 6: me before putting something on air. I gave you bad data.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Then I told you I had verified it when I
- 3:14Speaker 6: had not verified it carefully enough.
- 3:16Speaker 5: What an idiot.
- 3:16Speaker 6: This was unacceptable, especially knowing this graphic was for your show.
- 3:21Speaker 5: At least, again, tapping the chest.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't put our arms out here.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Not even chat.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Good on you, George Paul Thomas.
- 3:28Speaker 5: George Paul Thomas is accountable.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Yeah, good for him.
- 3:31Speaker 6: He really is. It's a good stuff.
- 3:32Speaker 3: But if he knows that he didn't double check his work,
- 3:36Speaker 3: why did he tell you that he did?
- 3:39Speaker 6: Wow.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Is it a teenager?
- 3:40Speaker 7: Faker.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Lying to you like that?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Fraud.
- 3:42Speaker 6: He said, going forward, Flynn's top 10. He's going to
- 3:45Speaker 6: treat the stats as broadcast data. Game log verification first,
- 3:50Speaker 6: graphic second. So he measured once, cut once.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I would have done in your scenario,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but not now. Because I want to bring your quarterback
- 4:01Speaker 2: rankings back up so we can laugh at them. And
- 4:04Speaker 2: I tell you how wrong you are.
- 4:05Speaker 6: I mean, according to the stats.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Well, the bad stats.
- 4:09Speaker 5: The wrong stats.
- 4:10Speaker 6: Some of them are actually correct, and a lot of
- 4:12Speaker 6: them aren't. But these stats aren't how I developed the list.
- 4:18Speaker 6: You know what I think you are right now, though?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Truly.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Crushing it. No, not at all.
- 4:22Speaker 4: You know what I think you are? You're the AP poll.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Crushing it.
- 4:25Speaker 6: I'm the AP poll? You are.
- 4:27Speaker 4: You're taking preseason narratives and using them in your rankings
- 4:31Speaker 4: for the current top ten.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:36Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm looking at quarterbacks. You don't have the number two
- 4:40Speaker 2: passer in the NFL right now in your top ten.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Yeah. Don't worry. There we go. There's a full screen.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I don't have what?
- 4:50Speaker 2: The number two passer in the NFL right now. You
- 4:52Speaker 2: don't have him anywhere in your top ten.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Who is that, Bryce Young?
- 4:55Speaker 4: Bryce Young.
- 4:56Speaker 6: I don't have him in there. I told you he's
- 4:57Speaker 6: too small.
- 4:58Speaker 2: So you're taking preseason narratives, AP poll, and you're allowing
- 5:02Speaker 2: them to cloud your judgments.
- 5:04Speaker 6: What did I do last week? I kept somebody off
- 5:06Speaker 6: that everybody else wanted on there. And what did that
- 5:09Speaker 6: make them do? It made them play better. There's too
- 5:16Speaker 6: many things.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Bryce Young right now has 648 passing yards, a quarterback
- 5:21Speaker 2: rating of 113.3. So it's better than one, two, three, four, five,
- 5:27Speaker 2: six of your quarterbacks on your list. Mm-hmm. Six of
- 5:30Speaker 2: the ten.
- 5:30Speaker 6: I told you there's a lot of variables when I
- 5:32Speaker 6: make my quarterback list. And not all of them are
- 5:34Speaker 6: fair to everybody. Not all of them are consistent throughout
- 5:38Speaker 6: each person and each pick. But I use a variable
- 5:41Speaker 6: that makes sense. And this is how my list is.
- 5:45Speaker 6: And a lot of times it's how, if I'm, not
- 5:48Speaker 6: with everybody, but a lot of times it's when I'm
- 5:50Speaker 6: making a decision, whether it keeps on or off, it's
- 5:53Speaker 6: if I was a general manager right now, picking a quarterback,
- 5:57Speaker 6: would I pick that person? Bryce Young has not, there's
- 6:01Speaker 6: too many things, there's too much baggage there yet for
- 6:05Speaker 6: me to erase what I've seen in the past. Now,
- 6:08Speaker 6: the past doesn't play always in my list, but it
- 6:11Speaker 6: plays a little bit.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, third most yards per attempt in the league, only
- 6:14Speaker 2: behind Lamar and Josh Allen. So it's not check down
- 6:17Speaker 2: Charlie either.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Okay. So that's your argument is Bryce Young?
- 6:24Speaker 4: I just thought it'd be nice to add him.
- 6:27Speaker 6: You're reaching deep. Deep in the bag on that one.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Second in the NFL in passing yards. He's throwing to
- 6:34Speaker 2: Teddy Roll, McMillan, and Uber drivers. Trust me.
- 6:36Speaker 6: I got a PSA 10 Black Pandora Bryce Young rookie card. Downtown. Downtown. Downtown.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Capital City?
- 6:45Speaker 6: Downtown. Baton Rouge. Charlotte. That's a good one. I want
- 6:50Speaker 6: him to play well. I want him to win MVP.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Doesn't feel like it.
- 6:54Speaker 6: But guess what? I'm trying to Get his juices flowing
- 6:58Speaker 6: a little bit.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:59Speaker 2: All right.
- 7:00Speaker 6: What else do you have a problem with? You got
- 7:02Speaker 6: a problem with Matthew Stafford?
- 7:04Speaker 4: I mean, you have a man crush on him.
- 7:06Speaker 6: 10th all time? So I don't. And he looks a
- 7:08Speaker 6: little bit more like.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Josh Allen.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Josh Allen. Josh Allen. Actually, it is.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It's Josh Allen's headshot.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Also, Joe Burrow. Who is that?
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, that is. I don't know. It looks like the
- 7:21Speaker 6: most random backup quarterback. I think I've seen that guy
- 7:23Speaker 6: on HGTV before.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Brock Purdy actually looks like Brock Purdy.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Well, because he's a standard white guy.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Dak Prescott looks like Matt Frakes, the old nutritionist for LSU.
- 7:35Speaker 2: He does.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I mean, they added like 20 pounds to Dak.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Jalen Hurts looks like he's on the game of Guess Who?
- 7:43Speaker 6: With that facial hair. Anyway, it's a beautiful graphic. Not
- 7:53Speaker 6: factually accurate.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I do agree with you with the top guy, though.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Josh Allen's an alien.
- 7:56Speaker 6: What about Patrick Mahomes?
- 7:57Speaker 2: He's also an alien.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Brock Purdy, a three. I don't mind it.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I think Stafford's a little too high. I have Shuck
- 8:08Speaker 2: a little bit higher. I like that you did add
- 8:11Speaker 2: Drew Locke, though.
- 8:13Speaker 6: You have Shuck five?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Four or five, yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Not there yet. You got to earn it. You got
- 8:22Speaker 6: to earn your keep on this list. And, yeah, I
- 8:24Speaker 6: threw Drew in there as like a tip of the
- 8:26Speaker 6: cap to him. He's not going to make it any
- 8:28Speaker 6: higher than 10. Unless he plays like that for five
- 8:31Speaker 6: or six more weeks.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I feel like an objective list when you're already telling
- 8:33Speaker 4: me what you're.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Not going to do.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Well, look, again, you have to earn your stripes. A
- 8:39Speaker 6: little bit.
- 8:42Speaker 5: I'd love to see a rubric for what you do.
- 8:45Speaker 6: There's not one.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Clearly.
- 8:47Speaker 6: Obviously.
- 8:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:51Speaker 6: So no real objections to the list.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Bryce Young should have been on it.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Where? That's my biggest one. Who are you taking out?
- 8:58Speaker 6: That's the big thing. Caleb Williams, when he's back healthy,
- 9:02Speaker 6: somebody's got to come out.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'd probably take Dak out.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Because those stats aren't real stats.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Those aren't real stats. But that's not what I bet.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I didn't say, hey, give me the stats. I'm going
- 9:13Speaker 6: to base my.
- 9:14Speaker 4: List off of them.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Jared Goff's on the edge. Trevor Lawrence is playing really good.
- 9:20Speaker 6: They're out of there. So again, who are you replacing?
- 9:23Speaker 6: I just told you.
- 9:25Speaker 4: All right, let's go to a little... OTB mailbag.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I have a special delivery for the bench. And look,
- 9:33Speaker 2: it is marked most urgent.
- 9:35Speaker 6: We'll be writing to you. The internet. What the is
- 9:38Speaker 6: the internet?
- 9:43Speaker 2: Hashtag OTB mailbag.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Should Alondra take over PowerPoint duties? Feels like it.
- 9:55Speaker 6: I thought it was a nice graphic.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Dude, the pictures.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Oh, the pictures. Well, I mean.
- 10:02Speaker 5: The pictures, the stats were wrong.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Okay, well, that's never going to happen again. George Paul
- 10:07Speaker 6: Thomas guaranteed it to me.
- 10:08Speaker 5: I don't have a lot of faith in that.
- 10:10Speaker 6: He admitted that he told me that he verified it.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:13Speaker 5: So what's to stop him from doing that again?
- 10:17Speaker 6: Solid. Good point. Again, AI is going to one day
- 10:21Speaker 6: end humanity.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Stop talking about your list, buddy. Start getting these questions.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Hashtag O2B mailbag. What is your favorite kind of quesadilla?
- 10:29Speaker 4: The next one.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, great answer. But steak, probably.
- 10:33Speaker 6: Keep it simple. It's kind of like pizza to me.
- 10:37Speaker 6: The more you try to church it up and do
- 10:39Speaker 6: too much to it, That's the point where I don't.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I love a churched up pizza, too, though. I do
- 10:43Speaker 4: love a churched up pizza.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I hear you.
- 10:45Speaker 6: You can do too much.
- 10:46Speaker 2: You're saying just sometimes cheese and steak or cheese and chicken.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Yeah, sometimes just a pepperoni pizza is the one that's
- 10:52Speaker 6: going to slap the hardest.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Right. I can get you.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I'll have a steak quesadilla and dip it in some guac.
- 10:57Speaker 6: You know what? I do love to put not a lot.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Just have a few grilled onions in it and throw
- 11:03Speaker 6: the cilantro in there. It's an elite move.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I have the cilantro tastes like soap thing, so I
- 11:09Speaker 3: don't like cilantro, but I can get on board with
- 11:11Speaker 3: some grilled onions.
- 11:12Speaker 6: So we found a food truck recently that makes a quesadilla,
- 11:16Speaker 6: a really good one, and they have like a birria,
- 11:19Speaker 6: like a taco, but they'll take for the quesadilla, they'll
- 11:22Speaker 6: take on one side of the tortilla, they'll just like
- 11:24Speaker 6: dip it in the birria sauce, and then they'll make
- 11:26Speaker 6: the Quesadilla.
- 11:27Speaker 5: That sounds fire.
- 11:28Speaker 6: It's just like a little bit of seasoning.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Where's that?
- 11:31Speaker 4: Where'd that be?
- 11:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Where's that food truck at?
- 11:33Speaker 6: I don't need to tell you. I don't need the
- 11:34Speaker 6: lines too long. Wow.
- 11:37Speaker 5: You're not going to tell me?
- 11:38Speaker 6: No, it's one on that. It's one on that.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Hashtag O2B mailbag. Flynn, would you ever consider making a
- 11:46Speaker 2: high carb version of my high?
- 11:51Speaker 6: I'm assuming you are some sort of marathon triathlete.
- 11:54Speaker 4: He's a cyclist.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Cyclist. Yeah. No, I won't. But I do get that
- 12:01Speaker 6: question asked quite a bit. And it kind of defeats
- 12:04Speaker 6: the purpose of what we are trying to do, which
- 12:06Speaker 6: is replace what you lose in your sweat the fastest
- 12:09Speaker 6: way possible. Not necessarily trying to get the caloric intake.
- 12:13Speaker 6: So I always tell my marathon, like my Ironman marathon, cyclist,
- 12:20Speaker 6: stuff like that. We work pretty good with the goo stuff.
- 12:23Speaker 6: the high carb stuff. But we're never going to change
- 12:25Speaker 6: it just because it won't get into your bloodstream as
- 12:27Speaker 6: fast with the electrolytes.
- 12:28Speaker 5: You should get into that game. The gel game.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 5: You should get into that. My high gel.
- 12:38Speaker 2: My carb.
- 12:39Speaker 6: My carb. Love that.
- 12:42Speaker 5: You really need a hiring. This is crazy.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Alondra needs to be your marketing person. It's not even close.
- 12:47Speaker 5: I give you so many free ideas.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Hashtag O2B mailbag.
- 12:51Speaker 2: How much wood could a Tyler Shuck shuck if a
- 12:54Speaker 2: Tyler Shuck could shuck wood?
- 12:55Speaker 5: All the wood.
- 12:56Speaker 6: There is a second verse to that, and I'm blanking
- 12:59Speaker 6: on it. Tyler Shuck could shuck wood.
- 13:02Speaker 2: All of it. Just say all of it.
- 13:04Speaker 4: I know you're a hater, but say all of it.
- 13:06Speaker 6: I'll put him at number six.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Hashtag O2B mailbag.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Then you're two. Is Blake Baker going to come up
- 13:11Speaker 2: with a defensive game plan to stop his arch nemesis,
- 13:14Speaker 2: Marcel Reed?
- 13:16Speaker 6: That's a good question.
- 13:18Speaker 5: That's the million-dollar question, isn't it?
- 13:20Speaker 6: Fool me once. Fool me twice.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I mean.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Fool me three times. You ain't going to fool me
- 13:26Speaker 6: three times. Right. You ain't going to do it.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Hashtag OTB mailbag.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Did you all know that T-Bob had a national day yesterday,
- 13:34Speaker 2: National Hobbit Day? I did not. I missed that one.
- 13:37Speaker 7: Hmm.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't on the Hobbit.
- 13:39Speaker 5: It wasn't on the Hobbit newsletter.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Hashtag OTB mailbag.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Of the people at the station, which one would be
- 13:52Speaker 2: least likely to own a mistake?
- 13:55Speaker 4: Who would be most likely? Least likely.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Most likely Chad, obviously.
- 14:02Speaker 5: George Paul Thomas is the most likely to own up
- 14:05Speaker 5: to a mistake.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Oh, he did.
- 14:05Speaker 2: He just did it most recently. I feel like a
- 14:08Speaker 2: lot of shows don't own up. And that's not just here.
- 14:11Speaker 2: It's a lot of places. I feel like there's a
- 14:14Speaker 2: lot of arms out. Not enough arms patting the chest.
- 14:19Speaker 2: That's my personal opinion.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Everybody's wrong.
- 14:22Speaker 4: But you gotta admit when you are in this business
- 14:23Speaker 4: and a lot of people don't.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Fair?
- 14:28Speaker 3: Fair.
- 14:29Speaker 6: That's fair. I was wrong once. I thought I was
- 14:39Speaker 6: wrong once.
- 14:41Speaker 2: But I woke up.
- 14:42Speaker 6: I thought I was wrong once.
- 14:43Speaker 5: But I was mistaken. Knee slapper.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Hashtag O2B mailbag. Which last name would you prefer to have?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Booty or Bussy?
- 15:03Speaker 5: That's a great question.
- 15:05Speaker 6: What a question.
- 15:06Speaker 5: I think I'm going to go with Booty.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Busey.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Would you rather it be Kayshawn Booty, like it's spelled,
- 15:15Speaker 2: or Josh Booty, the old LSU quarterback, just straight up Booty?
- 15:20Speaker 5: Maybe spelled like Kayshawn's is.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Although it probably gets mispronounced a lot.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you think that other people pronounce Booty
- 15:27Speaker 3: the way it's spelled?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Who?
- 15:29Speaker 5: Bout?
- 15:30Speaker 4: Yeah, probably some bout. Probably some.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Boutte, yeah.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Boutte.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Which is really funny.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Why is that funny? Boutte. Boutte.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Boutte. I will say, Hoon Palmer does call himself out.
- 15:56Speaker 2: He's one of the few. I'll agree to that. He's
- 16:00Speaker 2: got some bad takes, but we all do.
- 16:04Speaker 6: He picked Ole Miss.
- 16:06Speaker 4: That one actually ended up right.
- 16:07Speaker 6: It doesn't matter.
- 16:08Speaker 2: He still has no grit.
- 16:09Speaker 6: It doesn't matter.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Probably him while we lost.
- 16:15Speaker 5: What does cilantro taste like to normal people?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Cilantro. What does that mean?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Like, because it doesn't taste.
- 16:20Speaker 3: It's a thing that, like, it either tastes like soap
- 16:23Speaker 3: to you or it tastes.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Tastes like soap?
- 16:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 6: I've never heard that.
- 16:29Speaker 3: There's, like, a gene, and if you have it or
- 16:31Speaker 3: something like that, that you don't like cilantro because it
- 16:33Speaker 3: tastes like soap to you. So I'm just wondering what
- 16:36Speaker 3: it tastes like to people that it doesn't taste like
- 16:38Speaker 3: soap to.
- 16:39Speaker 6: I feel sorry for those people. Cilantro is delicious.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Every time I'm like, no cilantro, people are like, I'm
- 16:44Speaker 5: pulling your Mexican card. But I'm like, it doesn't taste
- 16:46Speaker 5: good to me.
- 16:47Speaker 6: It tastes like soap to you?
- 16:48Speaker 5: It tastes like soap.
- 16:48Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:52Speaker 5: So what does it taste like to you is what
- 16:53Speaker 5: I'm trying.
- 16:54Speaker 2: To figure out.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I mean, can you explain any taste to anybody?
- 16:58Speaker 5: Like, is it earthy? Is it like.
- 17:00Speaker 1: It's floral.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Okay.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, floral.
- 17:03Speaker 5: So like.
- 17:04Speaker 6: What is the smell? Because cilantro is a very.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't like the smell of it.
- 17:08Speaker 6: That is strange. Okay, I've never heard this.
- 17:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 17:16Speaker 6: I got to process.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Like, what's the thing that looks like cilantro that they
- 17:19Speaker 3: put in Asian foods?
- 17:20Speaker 5: Is that what it tastes like?
- 17:23Speaker 6: I mean, cilantro. People confuse cilantro and basil. No, not basil.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Cilantro and what? Parsley.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:29Speaker 6: Because they're usually next to each other at the grocery store.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah. They do look alike.
- 17:35Speaker 4: They do be looking alike.
- 17:42Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Would you rather your last name is Wiener or Dingaling?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Probably Wiener.
- 17:49Speaker 6: I've never seen a Dingaling.
- 17:54Speaker 5: I've never met a Dingaling.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Mr.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Dingaling.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Never?
- 18:08Speaker 5: Not once?
- 18:11Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 18:14Speaker 4: I don't think we're going to top that one.
- 18:15Speaker 3: No.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Might as well go ahead and go to break.
- 18:18Speaker 5: We might as well.
- 18:19Speaker 4: More OTB when we come back.

- 20:58Speaker 5: right now?
- 20:58Speaker 2: I'd love for you to tell the people about a
- 21:00Speaker 2: contest we're doing right now.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Okay, so y'all know.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Well, yeah, we all know ball in here. Will Wade
- 21:06Speaker 3: is going to be making his return to McNeese.
- 21:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 21:10Speaker 5: On October 8th.
- 21:11Speaker 4: All right.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Wait.
- 21:13Speaker 5: October 8th, I believe, is the date. Because I think
- 21:16Speaker 5: that's when we're going.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So October 8th, he's going to be at McNeese exhibition game.
- 21:20Speaker 3: And we want to give away a trip to it.
- 21:23Speaker 3: So we want to give you a night stay at
- 21:25Speaker 3: the Golden Nugget.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Oh, I know.
- 21:28Speaker 5: I love the Golden Nugget. I'm so excited to go back.
- 21:33Speaker 5: And maybe a couple tickets to the game.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 21:37Speaker 3: So if you text Golden Nugget to 225-499-1045, Golden Nugget, 225-499-1045,
- 21:46Speaker 3: you will be entered for your chance to.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Win a night stay at the Nugget and some tickets
- 21:51Speaker 5: to the game.
- 21:51Speaker 2: That's awesome. So we got basketball starting that soon?
- 21:56Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 21:56Speaker 3: They started practice already, so they have enough to practice.
- 22:01Speaker 6: When was that date?
- 22:03Speaker 5: October 8th.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Oh my God. That's dumb.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's like right down the road. Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 5: It's almost October 8th.
- 22:10Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 22:11Speaker 5: So I won't be here that day.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Luke?
- 22:15Speaker 6: What?
- 22:18Speaker 2: Looks like which board am I on?
- 22:20Speaker 5: This one. Is there sirens happening? I feel like I
- 22:25Speaker 5: keep hearing stuff and then I take Maybe not. Maybe
- 22:31Speaker 5: it was a song.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Maybe it was just Neo. Yeah.
- 22:34Speaker 5: I'm tripping.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Got me tripping. Oh, I'm stumbling. That's Fergie.
- 22:45Speaker 2: That's Fergie Ferg.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Fergie Ferg.
- 22:46Speaker 2: How are we feeling about all these ranked on.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Ranked matchups in the SEC, huh?
- 22:53Speaker 6: I feel great about it.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Love it. The most we've ever had, literally.
- 22:57Speaker 6: Four. Is it four?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 6: In the SEC.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You get the Battle of UT. The Battle of the Oranges.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Whichever one wins, they get the rights to UT for
- 23:07Speaker 2: a year. Tennessee, Texas.
- 23:09Speaker 6: They should.
- 23:10Speaker 5: I guess so.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I don't know much about Tennessee. I feel like they've
- 23:14Speaker 3: just been quietly, I guess, good because they're, what, 16th?
- 23:17Speaker 3: Or where are they ranked?
- 23:19Speaker 6: I'm not going to lie. I don't know much about
- 23:20Speaker 6: their team.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I don't even know who their quarterback is. Not T.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Martin.
- 23:24Speaker 5: He over here.
- 23:25Speaker 2: He's got a statue in front of Neyland, though.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Shout out to T. Nice little career.
- 23:30Speaker 5: So, but Texas is a five and a half.
- 23:34Speaker 4: He's on Brandon.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Remember Taylor talked about it.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Taylor knew like his social security number.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Texas four and a half.
- 23:42Speaker 2: He has been really good. He's done for 552, six touchdowns,
- 23:45Speaker 2: no interceptions.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So he's got a quarterback rating of 167.
- 23:54Speaker 6: But of course.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Trouble for Arch.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Tennessee has played. Furman, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State. I
- 24:02Speaker 2: thought Georgia Tech was going to be good.
- 24:03Speaker 5: They're not?
- 24:04Speaker 3: No.
- 24:05Speaker 4: They lost to, remember, Colorado.
- 24:07Speaker 5: Oh, that's right.
- 24:08Speaker 2: They opened the year. They beat Mercer, maybe.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yeah, no Haynes King.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Haynes King is at Louisville.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Their OC is at Florida now, too, so they lost
- 24:19Speaker 2: their OC as well.
- 24:21Speaker 5: Haynes King 2.0 is at Louisville.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Hey, you might have said this yesterday, but Yes, four
- 24:27Speaker 6: ranked on ranked matchups in the SEC. And the other
- 24:30Speaker 6: one that's not ranked is Oklahoma versus Georgia. Oklahoma just
- 24:35Speaker 6: two weeks ago was in the top ten, and I
- 24:37Speaker 6: get they hadn't played up to where their preseason was, but,
- 24:40Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, still could be a good matchup. That's
- 24:46Speaker 6: a 14-point game.
- 24:49Speaker 2: So I'm hearing a lot about, like, Neyland Stadium. And
- 24:55Speaker 2: this game, by the way, I think it's a noon
- 24:56Speaker 2: Eastern kick, which is criminal.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Why?
- 24:59Speaker 6: What?
- 24:59Speaker 4: Don't play anything of note before 3.30 Eastern.
- 25:04Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 25:04Speaker 2: But Neyland, I think it must have changed. Like Tennessee
- 25:09Speaker 2: got a new type of fan. Didn't they add to it?
- 25:12Speaker 4: I don't even know that because it was already big
- 25:14Speaker 4: when we played there.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 2: But maybe it was like the type of fan they had.
- 25:20Speaker 4: I felt like it was a very golf clap.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Stadium when we played there this is we've got 20
- 25:25Speaker 2: literally 20 years ago 2006 but i remember hearing about
- 25:28Speaker 2: it hearing about hearing about it that was a close
- 25:30Speaker 2: game we won the last play of the game yeah
- 25:33Speaker 2: and i don't remember it being overwhelming but you talk
- 25:36Speaker 2: loud yes but not like not not overwhelming like some
- 25:39Speaker 2: of the places not like one like your hair wasn't
- 25:41Speaker 2: like the swamp and not intense with like hatred and
- 25:43Speaker 2: maybe that's sometimes you can feel hatred maybe because we
- 25:47Speaker 2: didn't play them like a lot yeah i guess we
- 25:49Speaker 2: ended up playing three times in our career but It
- 25:52Speaker 2: must have flipped because there's people that talk about that
- 25:55Speaker 2: place now like it might be the best.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Lane flipped him when he came back.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Maybe that's what it was.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Maybe when he came back.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Maybe that's where the villain arc started.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Yeah, maybe.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I don't know. But all I've heard about this matchup
- 26:08Speaker 2: is kneeling, kneeling, kneeling.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I'm like, well, I wish it was a night game
- 26:11Speaker 4: in kneeling.
- 26:11Speaker 2: That'd be awesome.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Not a noon kick.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Yeah, that is criminal.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I think for the home team, a noon kick is–
- 26:19Speaker 2: it takes– 20% of your home field advantage away.
- 26:23Speaker 6: 20? I think it takes way more than that.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Do you?
- 26:25Speaker 6: Can you imagine if LSU would have played Ole Miss
- 26:28Speaker 6: at 11? Rather than 7? Like, I mean, it's more
- 26:33Speaker 6: than 20. I think it's 50% different. Yeah. At least.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Like, if I had a game like that, I'd want
- 26:39Speaker 4: to be Texas.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Noon, Eastern? Yeah. Sign me up for that.
- 26:42Speaker 4: They don't have time to get hydrated.
- 26:43Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 26:44Speaker 4: They don't have time to get pissed off all day long.
- 26:46Speaker 4: I think that's true.
- 26:48Speaker 6: It's just human nature.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah. It's going to be hotter than hot, I'm sure.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I mean, Tennessee's a little bit better.
- 26:52Speaker 6: It's like most NFL games at noon. There's not a
- 26:57Speaker 6: ton of juice in NFL stadiums.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 6: Now, the Superdome's going to be popping because they've been
- 27:03Speaker 6: waiting for something to pop for a while.
- 27:06Speaker 3: True.
- 27:07Speaker 6: But they're not even close. It's not even close to
- 27:09Speaker 6: an NFL stadium at 3.30 or 4.30. a primetime game.
- 27:16Speaker 6: The NFL stadiums get rocking as well, but it's hard
- 27:18Speaker 6: at noon. I always used to make fun of Lambeau
- 27:22Speaker 6: at 12. I was like, the noon o'clock games is
- 27:26Speaker 6: like bring your grandkid to the stadium type game. We're
- 27:31Speaker 6: going to bring our game and bring our signs and say,
- 27:34Speaker 6: go team, go. It's hard at 11. It's hard at noon.
- 27:40Speaker 6: That's nobody's fault.
- 27:42Speaker 2: There is a growing thing online about LSU always getting
- 27:46Speaker 2: night games, people getting real upset.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Hey, the TV station decided that.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 27:52Speaker 6: It's like the Cowboys getting so many primetime games.
- 27:54Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 27:55Speaker 6: Because they do numbers.
- 27:56Speaker 2: It is what it is. Just thank you for not
- 28:00Speaker 2: giving us a noon game.
- 28:01Speaker 6: Which would be 11 here, by the way.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Did we ever get the final stats on the amount
- 28:08Speaker 6: of viewers who watched LSU Ole Miss? I think it
- 28:10Speaker 6: was like– What would we guess, 18? Yeah, it was
- 28:12Speaker 6: nowhere close to that. It was like 13 peak, 13.8.
- 28:16Speaker 6: It's crazy the numbers. Like the most anticipated game in
- 28:19Speaker 6: college football. And I would love to see what a 3.30
- 28:23Speaker 6: game did on Sunday. It was probably 23. Let me see.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Maybe close to double. If you do it in the NFL.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 6: Obviously. All right.
- 28:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it peaked at 13.7.
- 28:32Speaker 3: 13.7? Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 6: That's crazy low to me.
- 28:37Speaker 5: It averaged 11 million.
- 28:39Speaker 6: That's crazy low to me.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Just for that type of game.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:43Speaker 5: For how hyped up it was, yes.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Hey, that was my bold prediction. College viewership is going
- 28:47Speaker 6: to be down this year. That's one of my bold predictions.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Is that down?
- 28:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:56Speaker 6: Sounds like it. Seems really low to me. It peaked
- 28:59Speaker 6: at 13.1. There was no good games all day.
- 29:02Speaker 2: True. Those games are so bad.
- 29:05Speaker 6: College game day. I'm trying to.
- 29:08Speaker 3: But what about all the people watching in bars? What
- 29:11Speaker 3: about all the people watching in bars? How did they
- 29:14Speaker 3: take that into account?
- 29:16Speaker 6: There's a metric they use.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I don't know exactly.
- 29:20Speaker 5: What, like the capacity of places?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Something like that, yeah. And how many screens they have.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 5: That mic being there is really bothering me. It's very
- 29:33Speaker 5: directly in my line of sight.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I'm trying to find like a random week. two matchup.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I don't have one yet. Like for NFL numbers. I
- 29:44Speaker 2: was trying to get the Chargers Raiders. That would have
- 29:46Speaker 2: been a random one.
- 29:49Speaker 4: That hasn't been released yet.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I think tomorrow maybe. I don't know.
- 29:52Speaker 3: The NFL needs to figure out what to do on
- 29:54Speaker 3: Tuesdays and Wednesdays because like Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'm like,
- 29:58Speaker 3: there's nothing to do.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Until there's Maction.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Oh, right. I got it right here.
- 30:01Speaker 5: Yeah, Maction, I guess.
- 30:02Speaker 6: Fox's game of the week in week two, which was
- 30:05Speaker 6: the Cowboys-Commanders. Uh-huh. So this is a 330 game. Peaked
- 30:11Speaker 6: at $ 27, 212, 000. Literally double. Literally double.
- 30:15Speaker 2: The Commanders-Cowboys.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Literally double from college football game of the season, probably,
- 30:20Speaker 6: as far as the buildup.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Even Texas-Ohio State peaked at $ 14, 000, I think.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Just goes to show you, like, we love college around here,
- 30:30Speaker 6: but it's not the same everywhere.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair.
- 30:34Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break.
- 30:35Speaker 2: We've got more OTB coming your way here live from
- 30:37Speaker 2: the Raising Cane Studio.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 30:39Speaker 6: 2027. That's such a big number.

- 32:59Speaker 6: Robot.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Oh, my God, I can't wait.
- 33:01Speaker 6: Robot.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I have the button right here ready to go. I
- 33:04Speaker 3: saw you side-eye me, my singing.
- 33:07Speaker 5: I was thinking Luke was late.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Hey, we like to let go and let God in here, Luke, okay?
- 33:13Speaker 2: If we have a song that we want to sing,
- 33:14Speaker 2: we sing it.
- 33:15Speaker 5: We sing like no one's listening.
- 33:17Speaker 6: That's right.
- 33:18Speaker 4: Some people dance like nobody's watching. We're the opposite.
- 33:21Speaker 6: Sometimes we say things like nobody's listening.
- 33:24Speaker 2: And they actually are.
- 33:25Speaker 6: They might not be.
- 33:27Speaker 2: They are, because every time you say something, like, Did
- 33:29Speaker 2: Flea really say that? I'm serious. Yes, he did. Did
- 33:32Speaker 2: he mean it?
- 33:33Speaker 6: No less. I'm telling you, no less than 15 people
- 33:39Speaker 6: last week at the Dunham game. We're talking about collegiate.
- 33:45Speaker 6: Me mispronouncing words. So I had to walk around saying,
- 33:51Speaker 6: I swear to God, I'm smart. I swear.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Smart?
- 33:56Speaker 6: That's some heavy, heavy lifting. Why don't you look at
- 34:01Speaker 6: all-time wonderlick scores, bud? That's fair. The NFL combine.
- 34:09Speaker 2: All-time?
- 34:11Speaker 6: For quarterbacks. Top five, I know. I'd be five.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Real quick, because we got asked a question.
- 34:24Speaker 2: In Ask... OTP, Melbeck, same thing.
- 34:27Speaker 5: It's not the same thing.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Not the same, Jake.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Jake? that I want to post to you, and then
- 34:31Speaker 2: I'm going to tell the people about K-Z, but I
- 34:32Speaker 2: want you to think about it. They were asking about
- 34:34Speaker 2: how you would handle, if you're Blake Baker, Marcel Reed.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I want you to think about it. I'm going to
- 34:39Speaker 2: tell the people about K-Z. K-Z Interiors and Outdoor Living.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Living.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Go to KZBlinds.com. K-ZBlinds.com. It's going to be a commercial.
- 34:50Speaker 2: You might have already seen it.
- 34:51Speaker 4: It's not a big deal. Don't treat me any different.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I did with K-Z. We're showing off that motorized screen
- 34:59Speaker 2: that we've got there on our patio that transforms the space.
- 35:02Speaker 2: They can do that for you as well. Have Brandon
- 35:03Speaker 2: Barton and team come out to your space, know your space,
- 35:05Speaker 2: learn your space, change your space in a matter of minutes.
- 35:08Speaker 2: They've been in the game since 2004 doing that across
- 35:11Speaker 2: the greater Baton Rouge area. Go to K to Z blinds,
- 35:13Speaker 2: K T O Z blinds.com. Matthew Flynn.
- 35:21Speaker 6: How would I handle Marcel Reed?
- 35:25Speaker 2: You've got, two linebackers that are athletic linebackers. You want
- 35:30Speaker 2: to be aggressive. You want to bring some pressure, which
- 35:34Speaker 2: you're known for, but you also got to cover some
- 35:36Speaker 2: things up.
- 35:37Speaker 6: Okay, let me ask you. I'm not changing a whole lot.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Let me ask it this way.
- 35:41Speaker 2: If you want to make him a thrower and not
- 35:44Speaker 2: a runner, what do you think that that looks like?
- 35:51Speaker 6: I think you go into the game with a similar
- 35:53Speaker 6: game plan like you had this past week.
- 35:56Speaker 4: I mean, Trinidad really didn't have.
- 35:58Speaker 6: He made some incredible plays.
- 36:00Speaker 4: The run that he had.
- 36:01Speaker 2: For a touchdown, like the last touchdown there, that was
- 36:04Speaker 2: just him doing that on his own.
- 36:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Like that wasn't a play where he was supposed to
- 36:09Speaker 2: have the option to pull it.
- 36:10Speaker 6: Right.
- 36:10Speaker 4: But he did, and he scored. He's a hell of
- 36:12Speaker 4: a player.
- 36:13Speaker 6: You pick and choose your times that you're going to
- 36:16Speaker 6: actually really go after the quarterback for a sack. You
- 36:19Speaker 6: pick and choose those times because there's a lot of
- 36:21Speaker 6: times When you play quarterback like this, and they did
- 36:24Speaker 6: it a lot against Trinidad, you rush to a certain level.
- 36:27Speaker 6: Then you kind of, you say, if I can get
- 36:30Speaker 6: to him underneath, great. But I'm not going to outrun
- 36:35Speaker 6: him and let him step up. If he's going to
- 36:37Speaker 6: make us, he's going to scramble. He's going to scramble
- 36:40Speaker 6: outside of me. He's not going to scramble through the middle.
- 36:44Speaker 6: So that's, and then there's a lot of techniques where
- 36:47Speaker 6: you rush. where I remember telling, like in Green Bay,
- 36:49Speaker 6: telling Clay Matthews, not me, telling the defensive coach, this
- 36:52Speaker 6: was his coaching technique, you're going to rush and never
- 36:54Speaker 6: get past the level of the quarterback. So if the
- 36:57Speaker 6: quarterback is dropped back, the back of his drop back's
- 37:00Speaker 6: on the 42-yard line, do not rush past the 42-yard line.
- 37:05Speaker 6: That is the top of your rush right there. And
- 37:07Speaker 6: then you stop and you hold. Now, you can pick
- 37:10Speaker 6: and choose your times, and you can pick and choose
- 37:12Speaker 6: the people that you decide to do that. So if
- 37:14Speaker 6: you blitz a linebacker, Your defensive end is going to
- 37:16Speaker 6: stay right there on the 42-yard line. The linebacker can
- 37:19Speaker 6: go after him. Or maybe it's the defensive tackle wrapping
- 37:21Speaker 6: around can go after him. But you always have to
- 37:24Speaker 6: have somebody there or presence there with the defensive line
- 37:27Speaker 6: that's going to try to keep him from– and sometimes
- 37:31Speaker 6: the quarterback is going to scramble and get outside of you.
- 37:34Speaker 6: And that's going to happen. They're going to make plays.
- 37:36Speaker 6: They're athletes too. What you have to try to protect from, again,
- 37:39Speaker 6: is making them– letting them step up and then scramble.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Because that's the fastest way to a quarterback making a
- 37:45Speaker 6: first down. Now, if he has to outrun somebody to
- 37:47Speaker 6: the sideline, sometimes it's going to work. Sometimes it's not.
- 37:49Speaker 6: Trinidad scored a touchdown that way. And they took bad angles.
- 37:53Speaker 6: You can learn from that. I don't think I'm changing
- 37:54Speaker 6: the game plan too much because after watching the film,
- 37:59Speaker 6: there was plays there to be made that just weren't made.
- 38:05Speaker 6: And Blake Baker's doing a lot more. We talked about
- 38:08Speaker 6: it earlier in the show. We talk about it in
- 38:09Speaker 6: Eye in the Sky, our film review. So go check
- 38:11Speaker 6: it out on YouTube. We talked about the cover two
- 38:16Speaker 6: in the cloud corner, the cloud coverage they are playing
- 38:20Speaker 6: to the side of blitzes. That is confusing. That is
- 38:23Speaker 6: hard to throw against. I think what they're doing right now,
- 38:26Speaker 6: they're showing he has the personnel to show a lot
- 38:29Speaker 6: of variety with what he's calling, and they did. They
- 38:33Speaker 6: did it against Ole Miss. Look, he turned it up,
- 38:35Speaker 6: put on a Superman cape, and made some great plays.
- 38:39Speaker 6: You can't let that affect the way you go into
- 38:41Speaker 6: a game from a game plan standpoint. You got to–
- 38:45Speaker 6: your guys understand, and they let him make some of
- 38:47Speaker 6: those superhuman plays by playing a little bad technique. Maybe
- 38:50Speaker 6: have like having some of the safeties that got thrown
- 38:53Speaker 6: in there, some bad eye discipline and didn't react to
- 38:56Speaker 6: what they saw. They didn't react to their keys as
- 38:59Speaker 6: fast as they were supposed to. Well, you got game film.
- 39:04Speaker 6: You got coaches that are going to critique. They're going
- 39:06Speaker 6: to correct. You're going to practice those things. So I
- 39:10Speaker 6: wouldn't change a whole lot. What they do this year
- 39:14Speaker 6: is different than what they did last year. So I
- 39:16Speaker 6: wouldn't judge this defense by past teams' mistakes against Marcel. Now, again,
- 39:23Speaker 6: he sees LSU helmets. All of a sudden, he's a
- 39:27Speaker 6: way better quarterback than he is with every other team.
- 39:30Speaker 6: I think that ends this year.
- 39:36Speaker 2: And if he does make a play, make sure it's
- 39:39Speaker 2: with his arm and not his legs.
- 39:41Speaker 6: He's going to get out. You want him to get
- 39:44Speaker 6: out on the outside. That's harder to do. That's more
- 39:47Speaker 6: of a one-off.
- 39:48Speaker 2: It's not the quickest path to the end zone, Matthew.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Bingo.
- 39:51Speaker 2: The middle of the field is in the passing game
- 39:53Speaker 2: and also running the football.
- 39:56Speaker 4: All right, we will step away. We've got one final segment.
- 40:00Speaker 2: We'll ask the bench brought to you by Ice Cold
- 40:02Speaker 2: Dos Equis when we come back here.

- 41:16Speaker 1: to you by Poncho.
- 41:17Speaker 7: We don't even talk anymore And we don't even know

- 41:45Speaker 7: how to change. Let's go into the water.
- 41:51Speaker 6: All right, welcome back here. Off the bench, closing out
- 41:53Speaker 6: the show. I want to tell you about our friends
- 41:54Speaker 6: over at Catalyst. When you think about Louisiana, you think
- 41:57Speaker 6: about energy. And one company helping shape the future is Catalyst.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Catalyst is developing the Commonwealth LNG Expert Facility over there
- 42:04Speaker 6: in Cameron Parish. Connecting American natural gas with customers around
- 42:08Speaker 6: the world. Now under construction after reaching its final investment.
- 42:12Speaker 6: The project represents a major investment in Louisiana's future, but
- 42:15Speaker 6: it's about more than just exporting energy. It's about creating
- 42:18Speaker 6: Louisiana jobs, supporting local businesses, strengthening communities, and reinforcing Louisiana's
- 42:23Speaker 6: position as one of the world's leading energy hubs. Through
- 42:25Speaker 6: its natural gas production in the Commonwealth LNG project, Catalyst
- 42:29Speaker 6: is helping build an integrated energy platform that connects domestic
- 42:33Speaker 6: resources with the growing global demand. As construction continues on
- 42:37Speaker 6: Louisiana's Gulf Coast, Caterus is proud to invest in American energy,
- 42:40Speaker 6: American workers, and a stronger economic future. Caterus, connecting Louisiana
- 42:44Speaker 6: energy to the world.
- 42:53Speaker 4: We levitated over that note.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Can't even look at you anymore. Golly.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Hashtag Ask the Bench, of course, brought to you by
- 43:07Speaker 2: Dos Equis. It's always a great time to go for dos.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Hashtag Ask the Bench. Is Luke going to make it?
- 43:15Speaker 2: How are we doing over there, Luke? We good? We're
- 43:18Speaker 2: making it.
- 43:20Speaker 6: No glug glugs?
- 43:21Speaker 4: That was very convincing.
- 43:22Speaker 5: He didn't glug glug.
- 43:23Speaker 2: We're making it. It's a flawless show over here.
- 43:25Speaker 6: No big deal. Crushing it. I love those Yankees, by
- 43:30Speaker 6: the way.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Hashtag Ask the Bench.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Y'all know by playing Always Be My Baby last break
- 43:36Speaker 2: and yesterday being day of fall, you officially started the
- 43:40Speaker 2: thawing process of Mariah.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Oh, we started it.
- 43:43Speaker 3: We did.
- 43:43Speaker 6: That's true, the thawing.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Unintentionally, too.
- 43:46Speaker 6: I kind of did think about it. I forgot fall
- 43:49Speaker 6: was yesterday.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Was it? I think so.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Didn't feel real fall-y here.
- 43:52Speaker 6: It's insane.
- 43:53Speaker 5: I thought it felt pretty cool.
- 43:55Speaker 6: You got a scooch?
- 43:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a scooch.
- 43:57Speaker 4: A little scooch, a little dollop.
- 43:58Speaker 6: The mornings are less humid.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:01Speaker 5: Next week?
- 44:02Speaker 6: Not on that soccer field.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Robot Flynn.
- 44:05Speaker 6: Next Thursday?
- 44:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Hashtag ask the bench.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I can't wait. You get to choose one person or
- 44:10Speaker 2: one group for your R & B Hall of Fame. Hmm.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I mean, as much as I want to go boys
- 44:20Speaker 2: to men, I do. Y'all know I love Boyz II Men.
- 44:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:24Speaker 2: It's got to be Usher.
- 44:26Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 44:26Speaker 6: It's got to be Usher for me.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Usher, Raymond.
- 44:30Speaker 5: I don't have an answer for that.
- 44:32Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Switzerland?
- 44:34Speaker 6: I'm going to say Boyz II Men just because I'm
- 44:36Speaker 6: not real versed in the R & B game.
- 44:37Speaker 5: That's why I don't have an answer.
- 44:38Speaker 6: I mean, I listened to this album an obnoxious amount
- 44:46Speaker 6: of times growing up. Yeah, me too.
- 44:47Speaker 4: I mean, Boyz II Men is too fast.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I could draw you what the CD looked like.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Oh, no doubt.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Not just the circle part.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Y'all know I love JT.
- 45:00Speaker 4: I mean, that falls into it.
- 45:01Speaker 3: So I think I need to put JT in there.
- 45:03Speaker 3: That's probably a bad take, but I love JT.
- 45:05Speaker 4: It ain't everybody else's take. It's your take.
- 45:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 45:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 4: Stand by that.
- 45:09Speaker 6: That's why it's kind of like my QB list.
- 45:11Speaker 3: He's R & B, but he's also, I don't know.
- 45:14Speaker 6: It's like the QB list. You just got to be confident.
- 45:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 45:16Speaker 5: No, it's my.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Future Sex Love Sounds is probably one of the highest
- 45:19Speaker 2: grossing R.
- 45:20Speaker 4: & B albums of all time.
- 45:21Speaker 5: 10 out of 10.
- 45:22Speaker 6: You know?
- 45:23Speaker 4: New Edition's great, too.
- 45:24Speaker 5: I mean, Justified. Cry Me a River Alone.
- 45:28Speaker 6: Justified. It hits.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Brian McDyche. Another good one.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Is it not Justin-fied? It's just justified. It's a missed opportunity.
- 45:37Speaker 5: It really is.
- 45:38Speaker 6: Swing and a miss. I do miss bands with a bass.
- 45:45Speaker 6: I'm a bass guy.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I love some bass.
- 45:48Speaker 4: D-Bar 85, R.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Kelly.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Look, I know it's like no problem, but R.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Kelly got some bangers.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Just objectively, like he does.
- 45:56Speaker 6: He's got an active batter.
- 46:00Speaker 4: I do like the bass voice. I like the guy
- 46:01Speaker 4: that just comes into it and just.
- 46:04Speaker 2: No, baby, I didn't mean to do what I did.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Hey, girl, I'm sorry.
- 46:07Speaker 2: It all falls on me, baby, not you. Let me
- 46:10Speaker 2: make my wrongs right.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Let me make my wrongs right.
- 46:18Speaker 6: LSU's going to beat Texas A & M so bad.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Yeah, they are.
- 46:20Speaker 6: They're going to crush them. A & M, you suck.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yale leaders, you suck.
- 46:24Speaker 6: Actually, thanks for your business.
- 46:27Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you for that.
- 46:29Speaker 6: Ole Miss, thanks for your business, too.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Yeah, we love you, Coach Moffitt.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Love Coach Moffitt. USA too.
- 46:34Speaker 4: Just not Saturday.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 46:39Speaker 4: All right, go to rouses.com.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Rouses.com.
- 46:41Speaker 4: We're going to be there on Friday. And I gave
- 46:45Speaker 4: you a website.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I gave you a website so you can find the
- 46:47Speaker 2: specials for your store that's convenient for you.
- 46:49Speaker 4: We want you to know those. We also want you to.

- 46:53Speaker 4: Football Friday. Live from Rouses, Burbank, and Lee. Guess who's
- 46:57Speaker 4: going to be there?

- 47:01Speaker 4: No doubt about it.
- 47:02Speaker 2: You can come hang out with us. They got the

- 47:13Speaker 4: They already got them made. You just pick them up.
- 47:15Speaker 4: Is that convenient? Feels like it.
- 47:17Speaker 6: Hydration? Possibly you. Could be. Best grocery store around. Best
- 47:21Speaker 6: grocery store. I mean, they're local. A Louisiana grocery store,
- 47:24Speaker 6: but it's all over the Gulf. Gulf Coast because they
- 47:27Speaker 6: do things the right way. They make a great experience,
- 47:29Speaker 6: customer experience. They got all the good stuff. Best grocery
- 47:32Speaker 6: store around. Go check them out at your local Rouse's
- 47:33Speaker 6: Market or go to rouses.com.
