  Speaker 2: This is a Gospel of John. I remember the last chapter.

  Speaker 2: The greatest miracle, one of the greatest miracles. I would

  Speaker 2: say the greatest miracle would be the death and buriing resurrection.

  Speaker 2: But Jesus fed the five thousand. Now, this miracle was

  Speaker 2: recorded in all four gospels and made a huge impact

  Speaker 2: on the crowd. But when Jesus left, he withdrew himself

  Speaker 2: and he went to the other side of the lake.

  Speaker 2: The crowd sought him. They follow him, but they're following
• 6:09
  Speaker 2: for the wrong reasons. You know. They followed him because
• 6:11
  Speaker 2: they had their bellies full. You know, they wanted breakfast
• 6:15
  Speaker 2: or something, you know what I mean. But Jesus didn't
• 6:18
  Speaker 2: allow it. He's like, look, don't follow after me for
• 6:22
  Speaker 2: the wrong reasons. Right, And that's still true today. We
• 6:28
  Speaker 2: cannot follow or seek after the Lord. He knows everything.

  Speaker 2: He cannot seek him for the wrong reasons. Make sure
• 6:36
  Speaker 2: our motives are pure and right so that we can
• 6:42
  Speaker 2: truly get to know him. All right, So we're gonna
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: start chapter seven today. First one, it says after these things,

  Speaker 2: Jesus walked in Galilee. He did not want to walk
• 6:56
  Speaker 2: in Judah because the Jews sought to kill him. Now,
• 7:03
  Speaker 2: Jesus avoided Judah because his time had not yet come.
• 7:11
  Speaker 2: Even though his mission was to go to the cross.
• 7:15
  Speaker 2: He operated according to divine timing, to the timing of God,
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: and not because of pure pressure, not because of men
• 7:26
  Speaker 2: man's pressure. We gotta be careful of that. This teaches

  Speaker 2: us something huge, right. God's timing protects purpose. Let me

  Speaker 2: say that again. God's timing will protect purpose. Just because

  Speaker 2: you can go somewhere doesn't mean you should. Wow. That

  Speaker 2: is convicting, right, This is ministring to me right now,

  Speaker 2: sink the God's timing, not the demands of peace. You

  Speaker 2: sustained them in the wilderness. Now this moment is symbolic

  Speaker 2: right here. Even during celebrations, Jesus stands as a true

  Speaker 2: reason for rejoicing hallelujah. Festivals fade, but the presence is permanent.

  Speaker 2: And see, this is the heart and the motive behind

  Speaker 2: see the works that you are doing. No one does

  Speaker 2: anything in secret, while he himself seeks to be known openly.

  Speaker 2: If you do these things, show yourself to the world.

  Speaker 2: For even his brothers did not believe in him. Now,

  Speaker 2: I want to say a couple of things. First of all,

  Speaker 2: he just read that he did not go to Judea
• 11:04
  Speaker 2: because his time was not yet. In other words, the

  Speaker 2: Jews sought to kill him. Now his brothers are talking
• 11:14
  Speaker 2: to him, encouraging him to go to Judah, a place where,
• 11:21
  Speaker 2: no doubt him would probably would have gotten murdered. And
• 11:26
  Speaker 2: of course we know he's the Christ right, the anointed one,
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: but he was always careful to say that his time
• 11:35
  Speaker 2: was not yet now. If he would have went to
• 11:38
  Speaker 2: Judah at this moment, it could have possibly have been
• 11:44
  Speaker 2: against the will of God. I mean, of course, I
• 11:50
  Speaker 2: don't believe. I'm convinced that Jesus can never do anything
• 11:53
  Speaker 2: outside of the will of God. But what I'm trying
• 11:55
  Speaker 2: to say is is it possible that he would have
• 12:00
  Speaker 2: gotten killed prematurely? Because that's the reason why he didn't go. See,
• 12:05
  Speaker 2: we got to look into the word of God. We
• 12:07
  Speaker 2: gotta read it right. It said the Jews sought to
• 12:10
  Speaker 2: kill him a verse one, and it says he did
• 12:13
  Speaker 2: not want to go to Judah because of that, and

  Speaker 2: his brothers are telling him to go, right, they said
• 12:22
  Speaker 2: the verse three, depart from here and go into Judah.

  Speaker 2: That could have been set up by the enemy, But
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: Jesus had great discernment, right, and he wasn't going to
• 12:34
  Speaker 2: be tripped up like that. Just some food for thought.

  Speaker 2: It's up to you just dig it out, search it out,
• 12:42
  Speaker 2: and get the entire truth on that. But I just
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: wanted to throw that out there now. Jesus, his own
• 12:47
  Speaker 2: brothers doubted him. They misunderstood his mission, and they misunderstood
• 12:53
  Speaker 2: all of his motives. Sometimes your biggest critics are the
• 12:57
  Speaker 2: people closest to you. Now remember that the biggest critics
• 13:02
  Speaker 2: could be the very people in your life. But don't
• 13:07
  Speaker 2: let thisbelief from others derail your divine calling. Keep walking,
• 13:13
  Speaker 2: keep staying faithful. Allowed God to iron all that out
• 13:17
  Speaker 2: for you. It could be a husband and wife team,
• 13:20
  Speaker 2: it could be siblings, it could be cousins or family members,
• 13:25
  Speaker 2: it could be mom parents. Just keep walking it out.

  Speaker 2: God will iron that out for you. Amen. All right,

  Speaker 2: let's hit up of verse six that Jesus said to them,
• 13:42
  Speaker 2: my time has not yet come. See he was submitted,
• 13:48
  Speaker 2: so submitted to the Father. He was sensitive of his timing.
• 13:52
  Speaker 2: How many of us can say that when we're pressured
• 13:56
  Speaker 2: to do some type of ministry in our churches or
• 13:59
  Speaker 2: in our fellos ullships. He said, my time has not
• 14:03
  Speaker 2: yet come, but your time is always ready. Wow, the
• 14:09
  Speaker 2: world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: testify of it that its works are evil. Wow, all right,

  Speaker 2: let's part here, I said verse six. I went to
• 14:23
  Speaker 2: verse seven. Verse six is Jesus said to them, my
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. Right.

  Speaker 2: Jesus was sensitive to the appointed time. His brothers operated
• 14:42
  Speaker 2: on a human impulse. Right, Jesus operated on heavenly timing.

  Speaker 2: Timing is everything in the kingdom. The right move at
• 14:55
  Speaker 2: the wrong time could possibly still be wrong. It could
• 15:02
  Speaker 2: be interpreted as a wrong thing. You know what I mean.

  Speaker 2: All right, Let's take a verse seven. The world cannot

  Speaker 2: hate you, but it hates me because I testify of
• 15:17
  Speaker 2: it that its works are evil. You go up to

  Speaker 2: this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast,

  Speaker 2: for my time has not yet fully come. When he

  Speaker 2: had said these things to them, he remained in Galilee.

  Speaker 2: are evil. This is one of the main reasons why

  Speaker 2: people hate Jesus. People hate Christianity. People don't want to

  Speaker 2: deal with the Bible because they don't want to see

  Speaker 2: the reality that their lifestyle is evil. We're an evil race.

  Speaker 2: We have fallen from grace y'all in the garden. Our
• 16:30
  Speaker 2: ancestor Adam sold us down the river. So now we've
• 16:34
  Speaker 2: inherited an evil, sinful, wicked nation, I mean nature. We

  Speaker 2: are a wicked nation outside of Christ. But our nature,
• 16:44
  Speaker 2: there is no good thing in the flesh. And you
• 16:48
  Speaker 2: see a lot of people think that they're gonna make
• 16:52
  Speaker 2: it to heaven because on the merriage that they are
• 16:56
  Speaker 2: good people. And what do they use to measure themselves?

  Speaker 2: They use other people. They compare themselves, Well, I'm not
• 17:05
  Speaker 2: like Hitler, or I'm not a murderer or a rapist. Right,

  Speaker 2: I don't steal, I don't lie, I don't cheat on

  Speaker 2: my taxes. Those things.

  Speaker 3: Do not.

  Speaker 2: Hold up to the comparison of Christ. Compare yourself to Jesus,

  Speaker 2: who is perfect, who had no sin. That is God's standard,

  Speaker 2: is perfection. The only hope we have is to believe

  Speaker 2: in he whom he's sinned. Believe on the death and
• 17:42
  Speaker 2: burial and resurrection of Christ, because he paid the penalty
• 17:46
  Speaker 2: for our sin, and therefore we can turn from our
• 17:51
  Speaker 2: evil ways. This world, the works of this world is
• 17:55
  Speaker 2: even we can see evil all around us. Called out

  Speaker 2: to the Savior Amen Verse ten. And when his brothers

  Speaker 2: had gone up, then he also went up to the feast,
• 18:11
  Speaker 2: not openly, but as it weren't in secrets. So Jesus

  Speaker 2: secretly goes to this feast. Now that's wisdom. Sometimes we
• 18:22
  Speaker 2: have to travel with wisdom and be strategic with our moves.

  Speaker 2: Then the Jews sought him at the feast and said
• 18:30
  Speaker 2: where is he? And there was much complaining among the
• 18:36
  Speaker 2: people concerning him. Some said he is good, others said no.

  Speaker 2: On the contrary, he deceives the people. However, no one
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews. Now
• 18:54
  Speaker 2: this is one effect that Christ will have on the world.

  Speaker 2: He always has on peace. Right, either people will be
• 19:03
  Speaker 2: for him, people will be drawn to him, or people
• 19:09
  Speaker 2: will hate him. There's no neutral ground, there is no
• 19:14
  Speaker 2: in between. Even Jesus himself said, if you're not for me,
• 19:19
  Speaker 2: you are against me. So even not making a decision,
• 19:24
  Speaker 2: even if you delay it, even if you say you
• 19:26
  Speaker 2: know what, I'll serve Christ when I'm old, or you

  Speaker 2: know what, I'm gonna serve Christ. Tomorrow. I'm gonna stop sinning.

  Speaker 2: I'm gonna have my fun and do what I want

  Speaker 2: to do and all that stuff. And then you know, tomorrow,

  Speaker 2: when I get out my system, I'll serve God. That
• 19:46
  Speaker 2: is a dangerous game. What we're actually doing is rejecting Him.

  Speaker 2: And you know what, this is a side note. If

  Speaker 2: I was gonna stop drinking. And then God brought her

  Speaker 2: back into her body. But like she had planned that

  Speaker 2: week to stop drinking, but ended up going to Hell

  Speaker 2: and was crying out like we don't want to keep
• 20:39
  Speaker 2: delaying obedience to what God has called us to do.

  Speaker 2: Today is the day. Now is the time, you know
• 20:46
  Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And so the people were divided. Some

  Speaker 2: said he was a good man. And it is now

  Speaker 2: about the middle of the feast. Jesus went up into

  Speaker 2: the temple and taught, and the Jews marvel saying, how

  Speaker 2: does this man know letters having never studied. Now that's

  Speaker 2: pretty good. Now. Even when Jesus entered dangerous territory, he

  Speaker 2: didn't go openly. But he went to go teach, and

  Speaker 2: the Jews marvel saying that he did. He didn't even

  Speaker 2: know the letters. The verse sixteen and says Jesus answered

  Speaker 2: them and said, my doctrine is not mine, but his
• 22:10
  Speaker 2: who sent me. If anyone wills to do his will, right,

  Speaker 2: that's important. We got a will to do his will.

  Speaker 2: do his will. If anyone wills to do his will,

  Speaker 2: he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from

  Speaker 2: God or whether I spoke of my own authority. He

  Speaker 2: who speaks from himself, speaks his own glory. Wow, that

  Speaker 2: is powerful. Let me repeat that. Let me read that again.

  Speaker 2: He who speaks from himself speaks his own glory. He

  Speaker 2: speaks the glory of the one who sent him is true,

  Speaker 2: and no unrighteousness is in him. Hallelujah. Did not Moses

  Speaker 2: give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law?

  Speaker 2: Why do you seek to kill me? Wow? This is powerful.

  Speaker 2: where are you speaking from? Where is it coming from?

  Speaker 2: Where are your motives coming from? Where are your thoughts

  Speaker 2: coming from? Remember, it can only come from two places.

  Speaker 2: Either our soul. Our soul is realm, which can be

  Speaker 2: infiltrated by the enemy. It could be demonic. We can

  Speaker 2: be influenced by our flesh, our desires, our emotions. We

  Speaker 2: want the glory. We can have our own agenda, or

  Speaker 2: it could come from God. Where is your source coming from?

  Speaker 2: Do you have waters of life flowing out of you?

  Speaker 2: Are you speaking and feasting on the bread? Now here's

  Speaker 2: a clue. What's coming out of you is what's going in?

  Speaker 2: Just like a computer right, is gonna output what you
• 25:12
  Speaker 2: input what you program it to do. People have made
• 25:16
  Speaker 2: millions of dollars programming computers right, telling the computer what
