  making wagers. Time to put my money where my

  mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for

  January 25th, 2026, and I'm coming to you in the middle of

  the snowpocalypse. It's actually not that bad yet.

  I did get up early, shovel the back porch out to the to the

  yard so the dog had a spot to do his business, got the driveway

  done as well. And then I had to do it again

  all over. And then I just did the back

  part 1/3 time and it's coming down.

  But now it's just mainly sleet and I think we're heading to the

  ice storm portion of this, which is where I'm worried about us

  losing power. So hopefully it'll stay out and

  I'll actually get to watch these games today.

  That's my biggest worry. So last night, NBA continues to
• 1:01
  treat me like a baby treats a diaper, but we'll pick that up
• 1:04
  tomorrow. Today we got the football, we
• 1:07
  got NFC Championship, we got AFC Championship.

  Both of these games going to be fun to watch.

  Great storylines, storylines that nobody was expecting when

  we got to this point, but here we are.

  I like the totals on both of these.

  The 1:00 I'm going to take is the late game NFC Rams Hawks.

  It's currently sitting at 45 1/2.

  And here's what I'm thinking, right?

  Everybody's expecting Darnold to become Darnold at some point.

  We're also expecting Stafford to become MVP Stafford at some
• 1:37
  point, right? It's very possible that can both

  happen today or it's both. It's possible that both could

  just kind of do what they've been doing and then we get about
• 1:45
  average, right? So, but I think Stafford is
• 1:48
  going to kind of elevate his game a little bit.

  That's what he tends to do. He just does that.

  So yes, Seattle has a great defense.

  I think they have the best defense left and Denver's got a

  really good defense, but I think the Rams can overcome it more

  than other teams. So I think they're going to be

  able to get their points if needed.

  On the other side, I think Darnold is going to, you know,

  try to not Darnold it, to be honest.

  Look, he's been making me look bad all year.

  I know it's still there, it's still in the back of my head,

  but I think he'll also be able to move the ball against the

  Rams defense. It's not the Rams defense of

  old. So I think there's going to be

  some points scored. Currently sitting at 45 1/2.

  I think both of these teams can get to 24.

  So I think we're going to get over 40, 5 1/2.

  So that's that's where I'm going to go.

  total points between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles

  Super Bowl prop extravaganza. It's going to be huge this year,

  I hope everyone's staying warm out there, got their crock pots

  going, got plenty of TP and there's snow shovels ready.

  But good news is, you got a whole day of football to sit and

  watch while it's snowing or freezing or whatever it's doing

  where you live. So going into this day, I was

  fully prepared to sell you guys on taking the Rams in the late

  game. I was going to talk about Sean

  Mcveigh's haircut, Matthew Stafford's last push to solidify
• 3:41
  himself as a Hall of Famer, the fact that I don't trust Sam
• 3:45
  Darnold in a big moment, coupled with the fact that Seattle's run
• 3:48
  game is actually a little banged up.
• 3:51
  But but I did end up taking a little bit of a deeper dive into
• 3:55
  the early game and well, like all good Philadelphians, I sold
• 4:02
  myself on this backup quarterback situation.

  Jared Stidman, I didn't even know how to say his name.

  I had to watch a clip where they said his name.

  I still want to say Stidham, Stidham, but I think it's Jared
• 4:12
  Stidham. Let's go with that.

  And yeah, let's take a look at this guy.

  He went to Baylor, transferred to Auburn, where he led the
• 4:21
  Tigers to an SCC W title. He beat Alabama in the Iron

  Bowl, had 373 yards of five TDs. He was drafted.

  He was drafted by New England, which is a real interesting
• 4:35
  nugget to this whole story in the irony that he's now playing
• 4:38
  New England in the AFC championship game.

  He's also has all the kind of makings of a of a backup
• 4:44
  quarterback that you'd want to see, you know, practice legend,
• 4:48
  low drama guy. Well, like guy in the locker
• 4:51
  room, you know, there's, you know, son of a quarterback
• 4:56
  coach, kind of sneaky athletic. He worked for Belichick, Daniels

  and even Payton. Even Payton, he's just a

  textbook next man up, backup quarterback.

  And I think my last point I made about who he's worked for and

  who he's working for now, Sean Payton, Sean Payton's a heck of
• 5:14
  a coach. And Sean Payton's going to put
• 5:16
  this kid in every position to win this game.

  Amen. Do I hate the Patriots?

  And would I love this kid to pull it out and sink the
• 5:28
  Patriots season too soon for them to be relevant again?

  And maybe, maybe this kid comes out and blows it up.

  And, you know, we're asking ourselves tomorrow, maybe Bo Nix

  really isn't that good. Maybe it's the system that he

  was playing in his coach and the team around him.

  Maybe this is not that much of A drop off from Bo Nicks.

  I've never been sold on Bo Nicks.

  So cause of Bay is going to take a swing here, we're going with

  the home dog Denver Broncos, led by their backup quarterback at

  plus 181 to win outright against the Patriots.

  Games like today's game are why the NFL is so well liked,

  because a backup quarterback can get thrust into the spotlight

  and AFC championship game and go out there and tear it up.

  And this is a very well known script, just ask Nick Foles, Tom

  Brady, Kurt Warner, Jeff Hotsettler, Doug Williams.

  Backup quarterbacks have won a lot and one in very big moments.

  So all aboard the backup quarterback hype train and take

  that train to the bank and lock it up with the Broncos plus 181

  on the money line until the Super Bowl prop bet edition.
