- 0:00Speaker 1: Everybody can bleed. Everybody can bleed. Everybody bleeds.
- 0:03Speaker 2: That's the key you're going to take away here on
- 0:04Speaker 2: College Football Recap because everybody, everybody can bleed. And I
- 0:09Speaker 2: think we might have found out that possibly the 2014 playoff,
- 0:11Speaker 2: if you're a hater of it, is a bad week
- 0:13Speaker 2: for you. If you're a person that supports 2014 playoff,
- 0:16Speaker 2: might be a good weekend to look back on and
- 0:17Speaker 2: be like, There's a lot of parody taking place.
- 0:20Speaker 1: A lot of things. A lot of life for some teams.
- 0:21Speaker 1: But as always, we are presented by FanDuel.

- 0:54Speaker 1: People can bleed. People can bleed. Five of the top
- 0:56Speaker 1: seven for the first time ever lost over the weekend.
- 1:01Speaker 2: The number one team lost back-to-back weeks the first time
- 1:04Speaker 2: since 1990. This might have been, ladies and gentlemen, the
- 1:08Speaker 2: greatest weekend in college football sports.
- 1:11Speaker 1: The only reason I'm on board with that and the
- 1:14Speaker 1: only reason I'm stopping, you always know because I'm not
- 1:16Speaker 1: trying to be a prisoner of the moment. Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 2: If you sit there and you're just 30,000 foot view
- 1:21Speaker 2: looking at college football and you're like, what's a great weekend?
- 1:24Speaker 2: And you love chaos, this is the greatest weekend you've
- 1:26Speaker 2: ever experienced in your life.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Take out.
- 1:29Speaker 2: A 10 p.m. Central game that happened on Saturday night.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I mean, that rounds it off. If I'm zooming out
- 1:36Speaker 1: and being as objective as possible, that one even ends.
- 1:39Speaker 1: If you're up until 2 in the morning, it's... It's
- 1:41Speaker 1: chaos all across college football.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you love chaos, dude, and you watch
- 1:45Speaker 2: the locker room on Wednesdays that come out Wednesday night
- 1:47Speaker 2: with myself, Will Compton, and Josh Pate, you're going to
- 1:48Speaker 2: realize chaos got a hold of us pretty good.
- 1:51Speaker 1: All right? It took us down pretty good this week
- 1:53Speaker 1: as far as units go and all that. Oh, it did?
- 1:56Speaker 1: We were all in the negatives?
- 1:57Speaker 2: We were all in the negative. No one got hurt
- 1:59Speaker 2: more than the leader himself, Josh Pate. Yeah, we'll get
- 2:03Speaker 2: to the show. You guys will see on the locker
- 2:04Speaker 2: room that comes out Wednesday nights. But let's start with
- 2:06Speaker 2: Auburn and Georgia. In Athens, Auburn wins last second field goal, 27-24.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Cutter Stockton, an individual that we saw against Alabama just
- 2:14Speaker 2: a week ago, threading the needle on multiple defenders, gives
- 2:18Speaker 2: up two interceptions. Byron Brown, 114 yards against the Georgia's defense.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Interesting game.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Very odd.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I didn't think there was a chance in hell. Especially
- 2:28Speaker 2: coming off watching.
- 2:29Speaker 1: They were up what? Georgia was up 17-0? 14-0 for
- 2:32Speaker 1: the first quarter. I mean, and it just seemed like, oh,
- 2:36Speaker 1: as many things as change, like as much craziness going
- 2:38Speaker 1: on in college football, Georgia's going to stay the same. Dude,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we're hanging out. We're at the Texas Tech game and
- 2:44Speaker 1: getting ready for that one. Cody's keeping us locked in
- 2:46Speaker 1: on the games that are taking place and happening. Georgia's
- 2:49Speaker 1: up 17-0, 14-0 after the first quarter. Texas is up 17-3.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Ohio State and Indiana, they're having a bit of a
- 2:57Speaker 1: barn burner as well. But you expect– those are two
- 2:59Speaker 1: top teams. Yeah, those are two top teams. But you're
- 3:01Speaker 1: thinking once Cody was talking about the Texas core, they're
- 3:04Speaker 1: up 17-3, it's like, okay, yeah, this is such a
- 3:06Speaker 1: get-back spot for Texas. Splattering. They're going to roll. Florida's
- 3:09Speaker 1: going to stack with three in a row losses. They're
- 3:12Speaker 1: in hell. And then by the end of the fourth quarter,
- 3:14Speaker 1: we're sitting in that awesome little club suite section. at
- 3:18Speaker 1: Texas Tech watching these games down at the wire. The
- 3:21Speaker 1: Indiana receiver, Marsh, catching the ball, like the play call,
- 3:25Speaker 1: everything right there. You're jumping around so– I know, I know.
- 3:27Speaker 1: You're making my brain go crazy right now. But I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: trying to place a picture in the moment we were
- 3:29Speaker 1: in because we're talking about Georgia-Auburn. Indiana ends up– that
- 3:35Speaker 1: whole debacle happens. Ohio State wins. Julian Sane goes out.
- 3:39Speaker 1: He's out for several weeks. Then you got Texas-Florida. Florida
- 3:43Speaker 1: comes back down 17-3. Clips Texas. Sark's talking about everybody's under– uh,
- 3:49Speaker 1: evaluation this weekend. And then it's like, as we're getting
- 3:52Speaker 1: on the plane, uh, trying to take off, we're sitting
- 3:55Speaker 1: here keeping up on those games. And then all of
- 3:57Speaker 1: a sudden Auburn takes down the number one team in
- 3:59Speaker 1: the country. Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's just wild, dude. And you brought up sitting in
- 4:03Speaker 2: that little, like it was end zone. It was the
- 4:05Speaker 2: end zone floor level suite. That's where the team comes
- 4:08Speaker 2: out for Texas tech. Shout out the Red Raiders, by
- 4:09Speaker 2: the way, they were The hospitality was incredible. We'll break
- 4:12Speaker 2: that down on the intro for Bustin' with the Boys later.
- 4:14Speaker 2: But as we're sitting at these tables that are aligned
- 4:18Speaker 2: perpendicular to the TVs, it's like right in front of
- 4:21Speaker 2: us is the Michigan-Penn State game. Just off to the
- 4:24Speaker 2: side is, what was the other game going on? Ole Miss-Missouri.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That one was happening in the afternoon. And then it's
- 4:30Speaker 2: like showing what's going on in the Texas State game.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Three TVs down, you're like... Tennessee, Alabama, and you're like, hey,
- 4:36Speaker 2: what's going on? Alabama had another turnover? Oh, Tennessee's up 3-0? Oh,
- 4:41Speaker 2: they're up 6-0?
- 4:42Speaker 1: They're 9-0? They're field goaling them to death. We're like, okay,
- 4:45Speaker 1: maybe Bama's going to get going because you need to
- 4:47Speaker 1: have 7 against 15.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Because eventually you just think Keelan Russell, the way he's
- 4:50Speaker 2: played for so long, he's going to... But once Tennessee
- 4:54Speaker 2: is up halfway through the second, and even if it
- 4:57Speaker 2: is just 9.6 points, whatever it is, Neyland Stadium. I mean,
- 5:01Speaker 2: you got to just assume. They might as well be up.
- 5:05Speaker 2: It's a two-score game. It's a three-score game at that
- 5:08Speaker 2: point based on Cody Graveyard's.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Brain.
- 5:12Speaker 2: So it's like all this insane stuff is going on
- 5:15Speaker 2: where we're like, okay, we got to leave at half.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Will and I have families. We got to get back
- 5:18Speaker 2: to our families. I have a little baby at home.
- 5:20Speaker 2: So we got to go.
- 5:21Speaker 1: We just had a flight to catch.
- 5:22Speaker 2: But as we're leaving, it's like, you don't want to.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Because there's a splattering taking place in Lubbock, Texas.
- 5:27Speaker 1: No doubt about it.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I mean- It's heartbreaking for Kenny Dillingham and the boys
- 5:31Speaker 2: of ASU, but they just did not come to play.
- 5:33Speaker 1: We had a good convo with him before. He felt
- 5:35Speaker 1: good going into that game. He felt good. And then
- 5:36Speaker 1: they were getting their ass beat, and I was like, oh, shit.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Kenny Dillingham's direct quote was, they are a great team.
- 5:44Speaker 2: They haven't played to their potential yet. If we can
- 5:45Speaker 2: keep them in this category, it's close. They played to
- 5:49Speaker 2: their full potential. They played to their full potential against
- 5:52Speaker 2: the Sun Devils, which is a heartbreaker. But you kind
- 5:54Speaker 2: of brushed over Ohio State, Indiana.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Dude, Nick Marsh.
- 5:59Speaker 2: When he steps out, and by the way, the awareness
- 6:02Speaker 2: of Nick Marsh to like know immediately that he stepped
- 6:05Speaker 2: out of bounds is just wild to me. And that
- 6:08Speaker 2: cameraman that comes out of nowhere and just zoomed, like he's.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Within a foot of his face. Did you see the clip? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Of another cameraman filming the cameraman and Nick Marsh. And
- 6:19Speaker 2: he's got no reaction because he knows like, yo, I
- 6:22Speaker 2: just fucked this up.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Well, because on the TV copy, it's like, oh, Indiana
- 6:25Speaker 1: did it. It's over. You didn't, because you couldn't see
- 6:27Speaker 1: all the things. Yeah, yeah, bro. And the way Nick
- 6:30Speaker 1: Marshall's reacting, it's like, hey, what happened? And then he
- 6:33Speaker 1: had that foot out of bounds.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Dude, and they were legit like inches, three inches away
- 6:38Speaker 2: from Indiana beating Ohio State at home. The biggest game
- 6:43Speaker 2: in their stadium's history. And it's just like, it's heartbreaking. Clearly,
- 6:47Speaker 2: like for me, I'm like, oh, damn. I'm watching like
- 6:50Speaker 2: Ohio State, which is, you know, clearly they're always reloading.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm watching this go down. I'm like, oh, they can bleed.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, they can bleed.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Kind of the whole Big Ten looks at Ohio State
- 6:59Speaker 2: as like the big bad wolf, even though Indiana won
- 7:01Speaker 2: it last year. But Ohio State every year is just great.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So everyone, I'm sure everyone who rocks a different logo
- 7:07Speaker 2: in the Big Ten is like, oh, fuck. we could
- 7:09Speaker 2: get Ohio State. And then Nick Marsh with that. But dude,
- 7:13Speaker 2: Indiana had pressure the whole time. He talks about Julian
- 7:16Speaker 2: saying that clip of his arm getting like bent all
- 7:18Speaker 2: sorts of ways. Does not look good. Ryan Day goes
- 7:21Speaker 2: up in his post-game press conference and he's like, he'll
- 7:23Speaker 2: be out for several weeks. We'll have to reevaluate the
- 7:25Speaker 2: other quarterback.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I don't know his name.
- 7:27Speaker 2: He comes in and has like I think one series,
- 7:30Speaker 2: one total series, doesn't even give you a real sample size, but.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It didn't look great. But I'm sure Ryan Day... He
- 7:37Speaker 1: was more in keep the lead mentality. Yeah, that one series,
- 7:40Speaker 1: it's like they're up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Freshman Sinclair, who was a highly talented recruit, he's like,
- 7:47Speaker 3: the real deal, but if Luke... No offense, but if
- 7:51Speaker 3: Luke is the quarterback, I think we are in trouble.
- 7:53Speaker 3: But it looked like a UCL-type Tommy John-type injury for Sands.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's weird when Ryan Day goes, he'll be
- 8:01Speaker 2: out for a few weeks. Oh, several weeks is the word.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Which means more than three. So is it a season-ender?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Probably not. Just the way he was kind of talking,
- 8:09Speaker 2: it's not as bad as they thought it was going
- 8:10Speaker 2: to be.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Would you rather him just say he's out for the season?
- 8:12Speaker 2: No, I mean, if I'm Ryan Day, I'm not doing that.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Because you don't have to disclose those things either in
- 8:17Speaker 2: college football. You don't have to put that out. So
- 8:18Speaker 2: if I'm Ryan Day, if I'm any coach and my
- 8:20Speaker 2: star quarterback gets hurt, I'm living in the gray with
- 8:23Speaker 2: everybody until I have to essentially walk out the first
- 8:26Speaker 2: series of my next game and be like, yeah, he's
- 8:28Speaker 2: not playing. And so on and so forth. Because then
- 8:30Speaker 2: you're having other teams have to get ready for that person.
- 8:33Speaker 1: All right.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Ohio State plays USC after this bye week on Spooktober,
- 8:38Speaker 2: on Halloween. at usc that'll be interesting but.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It's like if you if the backup quarterbacks and i
- 8:44Speaker 1: don't know these uh these guys coming in but if
- 8:47Speaker 1: they have some mobility that could be a positive yeah
- 8:49Speaker 1: because how good of a quarterback arm wise do you
- 8:52Speaker 1: need to be to just get the ball around jeremiah.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Smith watching that game i was like i don't know
- 8:57Speaker 3: if say it's really it he doesn't have any like
- 9:01Speaker 3: zip behind the ball like he can't really he's accurate
- 9:03Speaker 3: which is obviously good but like He threw the ball
- 9:06Speaker 3: as far as he could and it only went 50 yards.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That's crazy to say. For sure.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I think that just might be me saying that.
- 9:13Speaker 2: The knock on saying last year was when you hit
- 9:16Speaker 2: him a few times, he seems to get rattled. It
- 9:18Speaker 2: showed in the Indiana Bay 10 championship game and then
- 9:20Speaker 2: it showed in Miami in the playoff game. Indiana did
- 9:22Speaker 2: a great job of getting pressure on him. So maybe
- 9:25Speaker 2: that's another thing that's coming back up because I've seen
- 9:28Speaker 2: multiple plays of Sand throwing at 60 plus yards and
- 9:30Speaker 2: being like, I think the first game they played of
- 9:32Speaker 2: the year, like it was a perfectly thrown football to
- 9:35Speaker 2: Jeremiah Smith and it was like an 80 yard bomb.
- 9:37Speaker 2: So he has that capability, but it's like... Protection's been
- 9:40Speaker 2: a little leaky. Indiana has a hell of a D line.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And Indiana does a great job against... Statue-esque quarterbacks, like
- 9:47Speaker 2: where you've seen them struggle more oftentimes than not as
- 9:50Speaker 2: mobile quarterbacks with Northwestern and then Nebraska as well. So
- 9:54Speaker 2: it's very interesting. The Big Ten feels very open, but
- 9:57Speaker 2: it also seems scarier than ever because Indiana is. three
- 10:01Speaker 2: inches away from winning. Yeah, it's the same vibe. It's
- 10:06Speaker 2: the same vibe with the SEC.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I mean, you're sitting there, Gamecock Nation, that's where Bustin'
- 10:10Speaker 1: and Payton on Campus is going to be this Friday.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But even that game, now that Tennessee took down Alabama,
- 10:16Speaker 1: we're kind of sitting back. We were talking about possibly
- 10:19Speaker 1: going to Austin, Texas this next week. And when they lost,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it's kind of like, we need Tennessee to win this game.
- 10:25Speaker 1: So that way we could make an argument to go
- 10:27Speaker 1: to South Carolina because South Carolina coming off that win
- 10:29Speaker 1: against Florida a couple of weeks ago. Now they are
- 10:31Speaker 1: hosting Tennessee and Tennessee is as hot as ever. Yeah.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Hot as ever. Trap game. Yeah. McIntyre season, huh? Trap game.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Now this is a Jim Knoll season.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Dude, I'll say, so Eddie, on Bustin' and Pit on Campus,
- 10:47Speaker 2: I brought up that Tennessee's secondary has given up like
- 10:50Speaker 2: 161 yards per game. But the teams they've played have
- 10:53Speaker 2: not been great. It was like Texas, Arkansas, and Auburn.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Those are the three SEC teams. So I'm thinking maybe
- 10:58Speaker 2: Pig with Lipstick. But the fact that you sat Keelan
- 11:01Speaker 2: Russell five times, you hold that. I mean, Ryan William
- 11:04Speaker 2: Coleman was not playing. However, there's still so much talent
- 11:08Speaker 2: all over the place. Like, we need to give a
- 11:09Speaker 2: round of applause to Jim Knowles. Like, that's an absolute study.
- 11:12Speaker 2: He's got those guys right, and they were not right
- 11:14Speaker 2: last year. And shout out to Jim Knowles for getting
- 11:17Speaker 2: busy in the locker room after the game.
- 11:18Speaker 1: What'd he do? You didn't see him dancing? He had
- 11:21Speaker 1: the stogie in his mouth.
- 11:23Speaker 4: It's... at first glance i was like this is an
- 11:26Speaker 4: ai video it's because he is just breaking it down
- 11:30Speaker 4: with his guy's mouth oh he is busting down so i.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Need a video bill mart bill billy martin breaking it
- 11:37Speaker 1: down as well touching his bald head he posted.
- 11:40Speaker 4: A couple photos after when they're on like the sky
- 11:43Speaker 4: deck and he's just chiefing his cigar.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah this is not ai not oh no shit yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Good for him man That was a huge win, bro.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Huge win, but hey, 0-0 mentality.
- 11:56Speaker 4: You got to go into Columbia and dominate because this
- 11:59Speaker 4: is where the season, you lose this game, you lose
- 12:01Speaker 4: all momentum.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Dude, that has been the theme of the SEC is
- 12:06Speaker 1: that seduction of success with every team. It's like Georgia.
- 12:09Speaker 1: They have that massive win against Bama. Then they go
- 12:12Speaker 1: and lose to Auburn. Florida has that massive win against
- 12:15Speaker 1: Ole Miss, and they go and get whooped by Mizzou. Mizzou,
- 12:19Speaker 1: big wins go and get whipped by Ole Miss. Yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Now Tennessee is in that chair.
- 12:23Speaker 4: And we saw this play out in 2022 when Tennessee
- 12:26Speaker 4: beat Bama for the first time. And then we end
- 12:28Speaker 4: up playing South Carolina in late November. Go there.
- 12:31Speaker 1: We were there. One of the worst games I've had
- 12:33Speaker 1: to visit as a fan.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And this is when there was only 14 playoff, right?
- 12:38Speaker 2: This is the last year?
- 12:40Speaker 1: No. Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 2: 23 was the last year of 14 playoff. And you
- 12:43Speaker 2: guys were five. You guys were number five, correct?
- 12:45Speaker 1: Correct. I thought that this was the first year.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Because I remember this dropped us out of contention when
- 12:51Speaker 4: South Carolina beat us. Spencer Rattler beat the brakes off
- 12:54Speaker 4: of us.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I am pretty sure, but let's just double check just
- 12:58Speaker 2: in case.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Let's just double check.
- 12:59Speaker 2: But I'm pretty sure you guys were like number five
- 13:01Speaker 2: in the country outside looking in, and South Carolina was
- 13:04Speaker 2: unranked at this point.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I believe we had one loss to Georgia at that
- 13:07Speaker 4: point in the year.
- 13:11Speaker 1: We'll get that in just a second. But yeah, dude, watching....
- 13:15Speaker 2: We kind of said it a little bit earlier, right
- 13:16Speaker 2: before we read the FanDuel read, is like, if you
- 13:19Speaker 2: hate the 2014 playoff idea, like this would be kind
- 13:21Speaker 2: of a great year for a 2014 playoff. I would
- 13:24Speaker 2: go to say 16 would be the number one thing.
- 13:26Speaker 2: You were talking about that in the plan.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I 100% agree with that.
- 13:28Speaker 2: But because there's so much parody going on, because there's
- 13:31Speaker 2: so many things, it's like, You don't know who's great. Yeah, see,
- 13:34Speaker 2: it was a four-team playoff. So Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and
- 13:38Speaker 2: Ohio State, those are the four teams that went into it.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I see the argument for a great year for
- 13:43Speaker 1: the 2014 playoff, but also it's like all the emotion
- 13:47Speaker 1: that was felt on Saturday would not be there if
- 13:50Speaker 1: it was a 2014 playoff. Because there's so many stakes
- 13:54Speaker 1: riding on, you know, you drop one, the urgency is
- 13:58Speaker 1: so high, bro. And like, it's like... Obviously, it's like
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm going to watch the Huskers. But if I love
- 14:05Speaker 1: college football and I'm following all these games and Oregon-Nebraska
- 14:07Speaker 1: is on that late, you might watch the first quarter,
- 14:09Speaker 1: second quarter. But it's like I'm going to go to
- 14:11Speaker 1: bed because either team can kind of lose in this
- 14:13Speaker 1: spot and they can still be in it. I'll check
- 14:15Speaker 1: the scoreboard the next day and see how close it was.
- 14:17Speaker 5: True.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah, I understand that. Like
- 14:21Speaker 1: Notre Dame going down, it's like you wouldn't bat an
- 14:24Speaker 1: eye if either of those teams lost a game because
- 14:26Speaker 1: they still have so much lease. leash to where Notre
- 14:30Speaker 1: Dame now people are going to look at this Miami game.
- 14:33Speaker 1: If they don't get that one, there's going to be
- 14:34Speaker 1: that argument that they're not going to get in the playoff.
- 14:37Speaker 1: If it's 24, it's a shoe-in. They'll be locked no
- 14:40Speaker 1: matter what.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Based on where they're ranked in the AP Top 25,
- 14:43Speaker 2: which we'll get to, we're not done breaking down these games,
- 14:46Speaker 2: even if they lose to Miami. they are going to
- 14:49Speaker 2: be in the playoffs.
- 14:50Speaker 1: For sure. I'm just saying public perspective. The chaos that
- 14:54Speaker 1: we absolutely loved about this weekend, the whole chaos factor
- 14:58Speaker 1: of arguing, of debating, of all of it, it's not
- 15:01Speaker 1: as high if there's a 2014 playoff.
- 15:03Speaker 2: One team that seems to not be rattled at all
- 15:06Speaker 2: about success is UCLA. UCLA goes to Wisconsin. Wisconsin coming
- 15:12Speaker 2: off of a bye week. UCLA loses Nico as their
- 15:16Speaker 2: starting quarterback and goes in and handles that game through
- 15:19Speaker 2: and through. Like the 17-7, but they dominated in the trenches.
- 15:24Speaker 2: They don't have another ranked opponent Until the last game
- 15:27Speaker 2: of the season, which is USC.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And I'm like, I think UCLA's in the playoffs.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Wisconsin's a two loss team, except for they play USC
- 15:38Speaker 2: and Iowa in the next two weeks. And then after that, nothing.
- 15:41Speaker 2: So if they handle business the next two weeks, you're
- 15:42Speaker 2: looking at a possible Wisconsin team being in the playoffs.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You're looking at UCLA in the playoffs. Wisconsin's a little
- 15:48Speaker 2: more like I'm kind of reaching at straws a little bit.
- 15:52Speaker 2: But if Wisconsin can go and beat a beatable USC team,
- 15:55Speaker 2: beat a beatable Iowa team, now you're like, okay, you
- 15:59Speaker 2: guys have to what, beat Illinois? Yeah, what do they
- 16:01Speaker 2: have to do with that? They have to beat Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and Minnesota. Those are the four games they have after that. Yeah, Minnesota,
- 16:10Speaker 2: they got their lick this year. They got their, oh, shit,
- 16:13Speaker 2: this year. But Purdue beat Minnesota's ass, which is just
- 16:16Speaker 2: talking about this.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It's just fucking crazy. It is nuts. It's nuts, dude.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And it's like, any way you go, there's like this.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And here's how you slice it, too. Like, you go
- 16:24Speaker 1: back to UCLA's schedule, but it's Michigan State. It's Nevada.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It is, who else is on their schedule? Sherm, can
- 16:29Speaker 1: you go back to UCLA's schedule? Michigan State just beat Northwestern.
- 16:36Speaker 1: All right, then. No, yeah, last second, squeaked it out
- 16:42Speaker 1: at the end. That one was a potential, yeah, still
- 16:46Speaker 1: kind of a trap game. But you got Michigan State, Nevada,
- 16:49Speaker 1: at Minnesota, you got Illinois, and then you round it
- 16:52Speaker 1: off the end of the year at Michigan and hosting USC.
- 16:56Speaker 1: But it's like if they go undefeated and then they
- 16:59Speaker 1: rattle off two loss in a row to Michigan, USC,
- 17:01Speaker 1: it's like they're still going to be argued about to
- 17:03Speaker 1: be in the college football playoff.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I think if they, yeah, they get all the way
- 17:07Speaker 2: down to, and let's just say they lose to Michigan
- 17:09Speaker 2: and USC, it's like you have to look at UCLA
- 17:11Speaker 2: and be like, you have to put them in the playoffs.
- 17:12Speaker 2: They got to be in the playoffs. Because they might
- 17:15Speaker 2: be in the Big Ten Championship. I mean, right now
- 17:18Speaker 2: they are, if the Big Ten Championship took place today,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it would be Ohio State versus UCLA. How crazy is that?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Just insane.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 2: And I know Ohio State, they've got still, who do
- 17:29Speaker 2: they have on their schedule still? They've still got to
- 17:31Speaker 2: play Oregon. We just pulled it up a second ago.
- 17:33Speaker 2: They got Oregon, they got Nebraska, which, I mean.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Michigan.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Nebraska, like, you got to think probably Ohio State will win,
- 17:38Speaker 2: but by three? Like, at this point, like, it's going
- 17:41Speaker 2: to be a dogfight.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well, you don't have Julian San, depending on how this
- 17:44Speaker 1: backup quarterback situation.
- 17:45Speaker 2: They have going on. Ohio State, we got USC, Oregon, Northwestern, Nebraska,
- 17:50Speaker 2: and Michigan. Like, that's not a cakewalk, dude. And it's
- 17:52Speaker 2: crazy for me to say not a cakewalk, and the
- 17:53Speaker 2: front of mind is, holy shit, Northwestern's ranked top 25.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And they don't even have a starting quarterback. Yeah, no
- 18:00Speaker 1: starting quarterback, all that. It's just crazy.
- 18:02Speaker 2: And then with Oregon, is Dante Moore coming back? That's
- 18:06Speaker 2: always been a week-to-week basis. I know there's other things
- 18:08Speaker 2: going on there.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yeah, stuff going around the internet right now. It seems
- 18:11Speaker 1: like Oregon is a hoo-hoo. Hey, a bit of a
- 18:13Speaker 1: hoo-hoo indeed, dude. A bit of a hoo-hoo. Celebrated that
- 18:16Speaker 1: Nebraska went a little too hard. All right, okay. All right,
- 18:19Speaker 1: all right. We don't know what happened. I'm just saying
- 18:20Speaker 1: what's going around the internet. We all know the internet
- 18:22Speaker 1: can be fake. Exactly. Enough said.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Enough said, absolutely. But if it's true, that's crazy.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Enough said. Florida, Texas, dude. Florida backup quarterback, Aaron Filo
- 18:34Speaker 1: went out. What's the name of that quarterback, Cody? Tramell
- 18:36Speaker 1: Jones Jr. Tramell Jones Jr.
- 18:38Speaker 2: dude, athletic cat. Ripped a couple in there too. Florida,
- 18:43Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm drinking the Kool-Aid all over again.
- 18:47Speaker 2: But you beat a Texas team at home after they
- 18:50Speaker 2: just lost when they were number one. You would assume
- 18:52Speaker 2: at this point, and this is a great argument for
- 18:54Speaker 2: Jack McPherson being a Tennessee fan, they lose, all of
- 18:59Speaker 2: a sudden, they're out for blood. And same thing happened
- 19:03Speaker 2: to Alabama this week. Texas handling business like that, it's just...
- 19:07Speaker 2: You never know what's going to happen. In the words
- 19:09Speaker 2: of Delaney Walker, you just don't know what's going to
- 19:11Speaker 2: take place.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I want to say, Klump was saying before we started this,
- 19:14Speaker 1: is that there's another Q that's going to be getting
- 19:16Speaker 1: reps with Arch Manning. Lacey, yeah. What's his name? KJ Lacey.
- 19:20Speaker 1: KJ Lacey? Former five-star quarterback. I mean, Sark is fully
- 19:24Speaker 1: in the A-gap. He said in the press, or you
- 19:26Speaker 1: could just tell, he's like, everybody's under evaluation. Everybody's under evaluation.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He's probably, yeah. Probably thinking about that himself, too. Colin Simmons.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Colin Simmons, yeah. Colin Simmons got injured. I think it... What?
- 19:38Speaker 1: What was it? I don't know, but I thought he's
- 19:41Speaker 1: not hurt. Oh, no, he might be.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he got hurt in the game. And
- 19:44Speaker 2: then people are saying it's worse than people expect. Lower
- 19:49Speaker 2: leg injury, right ankle.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Did anyone see Florida's post today that said, we punch back?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Anyone see that? Yeah.
- 19:55Speaker 5: The media team, bro. Shout out to media teams that
- 19:58Speaker 5: play into that stuff.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Was that the one with Josh Pate? Yeah. Yeah, I
- 20:02Speaker 1: did see that. A few people on there saying this
- 20:04Speaker 1: where Texas gets their look back. No doubt. And it's like,
- 20:08Speaker 1: who does Florida have left on their schedule? Pull up Florida.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Cause like at this point in the season, the most
- 20:13Speaker 2: interesting part based on how all these games have gone
- 20:15Speaker 2: is like, we don't know who the SEC champion is
- 20:17Speaker 2: going to be. We have a pretty damn good idea
- 20:20Speaker 2: who the ACC champ is going to be. Like big 12.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Do we have an idea of these? Like true Miami.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You're right. OT double OT against Florida state, which by
- 20:29Speaker 1: the way, in my opinion, the receiver caught the ball.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I don't know. That second one.
- 20:36Speaker 2: What's crazy to me is that holding that was called
- 20:38Speaker 2: on the first Hail Mary was not... I don't know
- 20:42Speaker 2: if that's really what we're talking about here.
- 20:44Speaker 1: All of the officiating across the board. And I'm going
- 20:48Speaker 1: to mention a Nebraska play. But hey, dude, legitimately, on
- 20:53Speaker 1: the Nebraska, okay, let's start with Florida State, Miami. Land
- 20:57Speaker 1: this plane, land this plane. Bullshit holding call when they
- 21:01Speaker 1: caught the first one. On the left side. On the
- 21:03Speaker 1: left side. And obviously, you go up in the air,
- 21:06Speaker 1: people are going to say that was a pick. People
- 21:08Speaker 1: are going to say, yeah, I mean, the game played
- 21:09Speaker 1: out the way it played out. It's unfortunate. But Florida
- 21:12Speaker 1: State taking Miami all the way to the depth there,
- 21:14Speaker 1: so you can't sit there and say that Miami's going
- 21:15Speaker 1: to win the ACC. Then you go out to BYU,
- 21:18Speaker 1: Notre Dame. that was clearly a defensive pass interference on
- 21:22Speaker 1: the last play. And not only that, but the year,
- 21:24Speaker 1: the one second, there was a second on the clock left.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I watched the highlight of that. And I'm like, wait
- 21:31Speaker 3: a minute. And I sent it into the group chat.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I'm like, Tell me if I'm wrong, but there should
- 21:34Speaker 3: be one second left.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Bro, there's a perfect angle of the end zone where
- 21:38Speaker 2: the receiver is getting tackled by the DB, and you
- 21:41Speaker 2: see the clock right behind him.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He goes, it's two, one.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Ball has clearly hit the ground, and the one's still showing.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Cody Graves brought up a good point. They had to
- 21:48Speaker 2: find a second somewhere. They must have got it back
- 21:50Speaker 2: from the Michigan-Western Michigan game.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You go to that Michigan-Western Michigan where everything was saying zero,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and then they got the eagle eye, their little secret
- 21:57Speaker 1: camera that says, oh, there's a second left. This one,
- 21:59Speaker 1: all across the board, on TV, on the scoreboard, there
- 22:01Speaker 1: was one second left.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Now, this is not BYU's fault. This would be a
- 22:06Speaker 2: Big 12 issue. This would be a big-time Big 12
- 22:08Speaker 2: issue if that's the case.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Big 12 issue, though? Like, if you think about it,
- 22:14Speaker 5: the Big 12 is like, oh, shit, our bad. Our
- 22:17Speaker 5: Big 12 team just beat Notre Dame.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Our bad. We're sorry, guys. Where were they on
- 22:22Speaker 1: the seven-yard line? Get out there, get out there. Our bad.
- 22:25Speaker 1: They're on the seven-yard line. That takes place. Okay, you.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Called pass interference as well. Now you're in the three
- 22:30Speaker 2: and a half yard line. And with one last play
- 22:33Speaker 2: to go, got to think like Notre Dame gets that done, right?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Got to think like CJ Carr, I don't know. If
- 22:41Speaker 2: I'm the Big 12, I'm like, hey, yeah, our bad.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And now it's fucking too late.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Can't take it back now. Nice little press statement. They're sorry.
- 22:49Speaker 1: We move on. BYU's undefeated. Notre Dame with a loss.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Just the officiate. Even last weekend when the Bama-Georgia game,
- 22:56Speaker 1: that clear DPI that took place at Georgia's defense on Alabama.
- 23:00Speaker 1: And then if you were a sicko up at 1.30
- 23:02Speaker 1: in the morning watching Oregon-Nebraska, when it was 4th and 1...
- 23:07Speaker 1: Oregon was in an illegal formation. They had five guys
- 23:10Speaker 1: in the backfield and it doesn't get called.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I'm not saying Oregon doesn't still win the game, but
- 23:15Speaker 1: fourth and six looks a lot better than fourth and
- 23:17Speaker 1: one and fucking Wildcat. No doubt. No doubt.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I will say just for the sake of keeping us
- 23:21Speaker 2: all on the same page at all times. Staying with
- 23:23Speaker 2: BYU and Notre Dame, like Bear Bachmeier needs a lot
- 23:27Speaker 2: of respect. He, I mean, he ran the ball well. Dude,
- 23:29Speaker 2: he threw the ball really well. And his post game
- 23:33Speaker 2: when he's like, I don't want to get into details,
- 23:34Speaker 2: but my family was disrespected by Notre Dame in the
- 23:37Speaker 2: recruiting process. I wasn't going to lose to those guys.
- 23:39Speaker 2: He's like, Kalani's going to get mad at me about that.
- 23:40Speaker 2: But he just wanted to get off his chest that bad.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Then did not go into it further. I'm like, yo,
- 23:45Speaker 2: what did they do to you?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Did they call you a fullback? What's that? He caught
- 23:49Speaker 1: the ball well too. He had a receiving touchdown. He did.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Provo was a rocking bro. Sick. That was a, that
- 23:55Speaker 1: was a fun game to watch. Dude, that is a
- 23:56Speaker 1: place I would love to go check out.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I would love to like see all, because Herbstreet had
- 24:01Speaker 2: himself a nice little video walking into the press box
- 24:03Speaker 2: and the mountains behind everything, like incredible. I bet the
- 24:08Speaker 2: set up, like, How rowdy can a sober crowd get?
- 24:10Speaker 2: They set the tone.
- 24:11Speaker 1: With that one.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Dude, they're all on caffeine.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, they're caffeined out.
- 24:15Speaker 2: They got them Sherman Young jitters.
- 24:18Speaker 1: No caffeine.
- 24:19Speaker 6: No, they can drink caffeine now. They just can't drink
- 24:22Speaker 6: what the Book of Mormon says. It's hot drinks and
- 24:24Speaker 6: no tea or coffee.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Iced coffee from Dunkin'. Dude, they can get an iced
- 24:28Speaker 1: coffee from Dunkin'. They can get iced coffee from Dunkin', man.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I don't know what runs on Dunkin'. Yeah, I'll tell
- 24:35Speaker 1: you what, though. That is just insane. Yeah, they changed
- 24:39Speaker 1: the rules.
- 24:40Speaker 6: I think the LDS Church bought Coca-Cola and they changed
- 24:43Speaker 6: the rules a little bit.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Okay, Cody. Cody is correct. It is hot drinks only.
- 24:48Speaker 7: That would be tea or coffee with caffeine.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Okay. It's not allowed.
- 24:52Speaker 7: It is not allowed, but the cold caffeine drinks are kosher.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Those are totally fine to have. Because they were shotgunning
- 24:58Speaker 1: monsters on game day. They were shotgunning monsters? Get the
- 25:02Speaker 1: fuck out of here. They were. They could be ripping
- 25:05Speaker 1: the iced coffee from Dunkin'. Hell yeah, they can. Good point.
- 25:08Speaker 1: What is like, you know. They can rip it. Iced coffee?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Still no. What do you mean no? Because it's brewed hot. No,
- 25:15Speaker 1: iced coffee's not brewed hot. How do you burn the beans?
- 25:18Speaker 1: It's a slow drip.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, if you get the beans and you cut it
- 25:21Speaker 2: and then you put them through the grinder and you
- 25:23Speaker 2: put the thing and then you put ice all over
- 25:24Speaker 2: a drip and it drips in there, that's now.
- 25:27Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 25:29Speaker 2: You can put ice and water and drip it onto
- 25:33Speaker 2: the beans and the beans go down and they go through.
- 25:37Speaker 7: Ice coffee is safe for the Church of Latter-day Saints.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Let's go! You're not going to get this anywhere else.
- 25:44Speaker 1: LDS runs on Dunkin'. Hell yeah, dude. All those things
- 25:52Speaker 1: to be said.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Probably not going to get the invite now after this
- 25:54Speaker 2: whole entire conversation took place, but I would love to
- 25:56Speaker 2: go out to Provo and check out what's going on
- 25:58Speaker 2: out there.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So that's good though. They allow soaking in the cold.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Yep.
- 26:03Speaker 1: You can soak in the cold. And a lot of backflips.
- 26:06Speaker 6: The state of Utah, it's just backflips. Anytime you see
- 26:10Speaker 6: a trampoline video and they're doing seven backflips, it's always
- 26:14Speaker 6: in Utah.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You can't drink, you got to get your rocks off somewhere. Yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: it's just like adrenaline. What a random nugget that was. Dude,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I'm so impressed by Bear Bachmeier. I am.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I don't like that he wears 47, though. I'm so
- 26:27Speaker 2: out on that. I'm so out on... What is the
- 26:30Speaker 2: background of 47 at BYU? Because Michigan, when Brady Hoke
- 26:33Speaker 2: first got there, he did like a Legends jersey type thing.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And so guys were wearing like Tom Harmon patches. Tom
- 26:40Speaker 2: Harmon was 98, who was our first Heisman Trophy winner.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And Devin Gardner had to wear that. And Devin, I thought,
- 26:45Speaker 2: handled it great. Like, yeah, this is an honor to
- 26:47Speaker 2: do that. I'm thinking, you look so dumb. 98 on
- 26:51Speaker 2: as a quarterback. And I'm sure he felt that way
- 26:53Speaker 2: to some extent, but it is like obviously a clear honor.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Something about it though, like his name being Bear and
- 26:58Speaker 3: he's wearing 47. It's like, that's kind of.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something about it that is cool. Like if
- 27:02Speaker 2: you're good, it makes it cool. Just, it's like, dude,
- 27:05Speaker 2: if he had like a seven on.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Look, I know BYU doesn't care about this, but they carried-
- 27:11Speaker 1: the torch for the Big 12 Conference this weekend. Big 12,
- 27:14Speaker 1: we could talk about all the shit going on in
- 27:16Speaker 1: the SEC, all the, oh, it's up in the air,
- 27:18Speaker 1: all these teams in the Big 10 that could win,
- 27:20Speaker 1: but the Big 12 has been the most exciting and
- 27:23Speaker 1: impressive conference as far as teams that have one loss.
- 27:27Speaker 1: You have BYU that takes down Notre Dame. You have
- 27:30Speaker 1: the Oklahoma State-Houston game, which was... A shootout. Houston looking tough.
- 27:35Speaker 1: So does Oklahoma State. They just need to get better
- 27:38Speaker 1: on defense.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I'll tell you what, Houston is a, that's a ball
- 27:41Speaker 2: club now. Connor Wegman, five touchdowns? Connor Wegman is.
- 27:46Speaker 1: The truth, bro. Hey, and this one under the radar
- 27:49Speaker 1: because this was a sicko late game as well. Utah survived.
- 27:53Speaker 1: colorado real survived i.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Didn't even know i didn't see it i didn't see
- 27:56Speaker 2: it by the way before we before we move on
- 27:59Speaker 2: to that real quick bear bachmeyer war 47 played linebacker
- 28:02Speaker 2: and uh running back as a kid and he chose
- 28:04Speaker 2: to keep that number when he transferred into byu let's
- 28:06Speaker 2: go okay onward.
- 28:07Speaker 1: By the way shout out i'm gonna butcher his last
- 28:09Speaker 1: name but uh that number four that linebacker for byu
- 28:12Speaker 1: oh That's the kid I was telling you about that
- 28:18Speaker 1: was going to transfer to Michigan.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Dude, he was.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Dude, he's a dog, bro.
- 28:22Speaker 2: They ran that same blitz back to back. All they
- 28:24Speaker 2: ran was a mic plug like three times in a
- 28:26Speaker 2: row and just.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Smacked his ass. Sometimes it's him being instinctive. He sees
- 28:30Speaker 1: a step and he just takes off, bro. He's a stud.
- 28:34Speaker 1: He's a stud, dude. Stud. Good call. Yeah, he's awesome.
- 28:37Speaker 1: The only team that kind of let down the Big
- 28:39Speaker 1: 12 over the weekend was Baylor. Talk about one lost team.
- 28:43Speaker 1: We need these one lost teams. That's not Baylor's fault, dude.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They got Jaden Craig. The smartest thrower of the football
- 28:49Speaker 1: of all time. Like Jaden Craig, kind of nice out there.
- 28:51Speaker 1: We talked about earlier in the season.
- 28:53Speaker 2: That's probably the one take Cody had at the beginning
- 28:56Speaker 2: of the year that's holding true right now.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Hey, hold on. Auburn, Byron Brown, man. All right.
- 29:04Speaker 6: He did.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Oh, come on. He had a game. To Cody's point,
- 29:07Speaker 1: he had a game. The oldest SEC rivalry. No, dude.
- 29:10Speaker 6: He had over 100 yards rushing. I said they were
- 29:12Speaker 6: going to beat a team that no one expects him
- 29:14Speaker 6: to beat, and they did it on the road.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they did. They did, Cody. It's just everyone the
- 29:18Speaker 1: rest of the year now. No one expects them to win. Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So is it real that TCU actually trolled you, Sherm?
- 29:25Speaker 1: They did tag me in that post. They actually tagged
- 29:28Speaker 1: you in that post. I was tagged in that post.
- 29:30Speaker 1: That's got to feel good. As shitty as it is,
- 29:32Speaker 1: that's awesome. That's awesome. It was, hey, that's a lot
- 29:37Speaker 1: of fun to wake up to, you know.
- 29:39Speaker 7: When you spend all night i didn't even see it
- 29:42Speaker 7: that night and i'm just scrolling through the fire day
- 29:44Speaker 7: verandas i wake up to that that's kind of cool
- 29:48Speaker 7: but also i knew exactly what they wanted i texted
- 29:51Speaker 7: you guys in the group text they wanted a mad
- 29:53Speaker 7: quote tweet And I didn't give it to him.
- 29:56Speaker 1: So I felt. Bigger man. Thank you. Bigger man. Sherm,
- 29:59Speaker 1: I will say the lore of you is out there.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It is a lie. We had a gentleman come up
- 30:03Speaker 1: to us at the Texas Tech game. Yes. Saying, hey,
- 30:06Speaker 1: can I get a photo with you guys? Like, Sherm,
- 30:07Speaker 1: we worked together back in the day when you guys were,
- 30:09Speaker 1: when you were doing Texas Tech stuff. Yes, dude.
- 30:11Speaker 7: Rambling Raiders. He sent me a picture of y'all's picture
- 30:16Speaker 7: on the sideline.
- 30:17Speaker 1: And I was like, do you say what up? He's like,
- 30:20Speaker 1: oh yeah. He said, Will looked at me and said,
- 30:23Speaker 1: Lubbock's a vibe. dude love bug is a mod what

- 31:32Speaker 1: We got to get that fan base going.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I guess that is college football. So, yes. That fan
- 31:39Speaker 1: base might be the nastiest fan base of all time, though. Nasties? Dude,
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'm sitting there.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I'm sitting there, and I'm on the end zone with
- 31:49Speaker 2: the suites, and I hear a.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Guy, Taylor, Taylor, Taylor, bust with the boys. I hear him.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's registering.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I'm just thinking to myself, I'm trying to watch this
- 31:59Speaker 2: last series before we have to go.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But you can't because it's not that loud. It's not
- 32:02Speaker 1: that loud.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Clump hits me with, hey, Taylor, this guy's trying to
- 32:05Speaker 2: get your attention. I'm thinking, dude, it's a librarian here.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I can obviously hear him. So I turn around and
- 32:13Speaker 2: he goes, you need this?
- 32:15Speaker 1: I'm like, what? He goes, these? I'm like, what do
- 32:19Speaker 1: I need?
- 32:20Speaker 2: He goes, see these nuts. And then 15 people around
- 32:23Speaker 2: him get me. I don't know if he actually got me,
- 32:26Speaker 2: but in his mind he got me and the people
- 32:28Speaker 2: are watching. So I'm like leaning over like he got
- 32:30Speaker 2: me real good. And it was just, it was nasty
- 32:33Speaker 2: by this late 50s, early 60s gentleman with kids around.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Kids were around.
- 32:40Speaker 1: And then they actually ended up being a lot of fun.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I hate to be this guy, but I think he
- 32:43Speaker 1: got you. You think he got me? Yeah. He hit
- 32:45Speaker 1: you with, Taylor, can you get a D's? And you're like,
- 32:49Speaker 1: get what? He goes, get D's nuts. I think he
- 32:51Speaker 1: got you. Because he mumbled on purpose, I think. I know.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I was trying to be polite. He was 50? Oh,
- 32:57Speaker 1: he was an old man. He was an older man.
- 32:59Speaker 1: But that's the grayer of Diddy, actually. Because you just
- 33:02Speaker 1: regurgitated the same story, the mumbling. I thought you were
- 33:04Speaker 1: going to say you kind of heard it clearly. No, no.
- 33:06Speaker 1: He got me. He wanted him to say, get what?
- 33:07Speaker 2: What he did is a got. I didn't hear him.
- 33:11Speaker 2: And clearly I'm going to be polite.
- 33:13Speaker 1: So I'm, wait, you know, what? These nuts? All right,
- 33:16Speaker 1: you got me. He tried to get me. He goes, hey,
- 33:18Speaker 1: do you remember Landon? I was like, you literally, you
- 33:20Speaker 1: just got my guy. He had one mission on that trip.
- 33:27Speaker 2: But we were bouncing back and forth. I go, hey,
- 33:28Speaker 2: you guys want a tip? They're like, yeah, give us
- 33:30Speaker 2: a tip. I was like, when the offense or the
- 33:32Speaker 2: other teams on the field, you guys should be loud.
- 33:33Speaker 1: The student section, like the student section in that corner,
- 33:36Speaker 1: they're getting loud, but everybody else on the other side
- 33:38Speaker 1: of the stadium is just kind of sitting there. They're
- 33:40Speaker 1: sitting watching. And I'm like, this is... Kind of wild.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Because the vibes are there. Like the game day atmosphere,
- 33:47Speaker 1: like the tailgating, like all this stuff, the vibe is there. Yes.
- 33:50Speaker 1: These fans just got to know how to operate when
- 33:53Speaker 1: the opposing offense is on the field.
- 33:55Speaker 2: And I hate that we're even, we're being critical, but
- 33:58Speaker 2: this is like constructive criticism. Like I love Texas Tech.
- 34:02Speaker 2: We had a lot of fun at Lubbock.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Like you said on the intro, we're going to talk
- 34:05Speaker 1: about how A-plus of a trip that it was.
- 34:07Speaker 7: Yes.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Because yeah, dude, Joe McGuire. They're all done. Yeah. Love Lubbock, Texas.
- 34:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 1: And also met Cody Campbell. Ooh, yeah. But I stepped
- 34:14Speaker 1: back at one point and the heel of my boot
- 34:16Speaker 1: obviously stepped on his toe. And I was like, oh shit, sorry.
- 34:18Speaker 1: He's like, don't worry about it. I'm like, okay. So
- 34:21Speaker 1: if I die in the next 72 hours, maybe he's
- 34:24Speaker 1: your dusty sleigh. He was a good guy. Tweets out.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Get him ready to go, man. Hey, honestly, a great win.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Like Texas Tech needed a win like that because they've
- 34:32Speaker 1: kind of been on the cusp of like, man, is
- 34:33Speaker 1: this kind of a.
- 34:34Speaker 2: But dude, Houston's... I mean, Houston and Texas Tech play again.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Like it's... Who are you going to take? What would
- 34:41Speaker 2: they be? What would the spread be on that game?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Because Houston is just.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Operating right now. Texas Tech goes out to Cincinnati this weekend.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Goes out to Cincinnati, got Arizona at home. Sneaky. Sneaky.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Got the Baylor Bears. At Oklahoma State in November. I know, dude.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Needed Oklahoma State to win that game. Is the Big
- 35:00Speaker 1: 12 the best conference? Right, I mean... Dude, like it's
- 35:04Speaker 1: a fun conference. It might be the most fun conference
- 35:06Speaker 1: right now. They are the... they're the over-performing conference right now. Yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 1: As far as like watching it all, like all this
- 35:14Speaker 1: stuff play out, like having all these teams toward the
- 35:16Speaker 1: top vying for a spot, because it's not like Texas Tech,
- 35:19Speaker 1: maybe BYU and everybody else. It's you got a lot
- 35:22Speaker 1: of hitters. Like Arizona's only won one loss in their
- 35:24Speaker 1: own bye week. Arizona's lost one.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Utah, Houston, Texas Tech, BYU- I mean, I guess Oklahoma State,
- 35:32Speaker 2: but kind of not anymore, right?
- 35:34Speaker 1: They're only a one-loss team in conference. That first week, yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 1: they lost to Tulsa. But when you're looking at a
- 35:40Speaker 1: conference play, who's going to be in the championship game
- 35:42Speaker 1: at the end of the year? Oklahoma State's 2-1 in
- 35:44Speaker 1: the conference. So they're still very much in it. You're
- 35:46Speaker 1: going to have that game later in the year against
- 35:48Speaker 1: Texas Tech if they both continue to win out.
- 35:51Speaker 5: Is there a chance for chaos with the Big 12
- 35:52Speaker 5: where they get four teams in the CFB?
- 35:55Speaker 1: I don't think they'll get four. I think that there's
- 35:56Speaker 1: an argument that potentially three. They just got to focus
- 36:00Speaker 1: on getting two. Because BYU, they got snubbed out of
- 36:02Speaker 1: it last year after having one loss in the regular season.
- 36:05Speaker 1: But having that win over Notre Dame is going to
- 36:07Speaker 1: be big for them.
- 36:08Speaker 2: So because we're halfway through the season now, some wins
- 36:12Speaker 2: look more valuable than others. If we get farther down
- 36:15Speaker 2: the road here and Notre Dame loses to Miami that
- 36:18Speaker 2: we just talked about struggling with Florida State, is that
- 36:22Speaker 2: Notre Dame win as big of a deal anymore? because
- 36:27Speaker 2: they have, people say, people say two game season, then
- 36:30Speaker 2: the ball knows come out and go SMU also. It's like, okay,
- 36:32Speaker 2: we'll see what, I don't know what SMU schedule. We'll
- 36:34Speaker 2: have to look that up, but they have essentially a
- 36:37Speaker 2: two game season.
- 36:38Speaker 1: At face value.
- 36:39Speaker 2: You lose both those games. Notre Dame is going to
- 36:41Speaker 2: be in the playoff, but does that now hold as
- 36:43Speaker 2: much value for BYU?
- 36:45Speaker 1: It held that value last year with Texas A &
- 36:47Speaker 1: M and Miami getting in the playoff.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Texas A & M lost one game, right? They lost
- 36:53Speaker 2: to Texas at the end of the year. So like,
- 36:56Speaker 2: Does it really?
- 36:58Speaker 1: Right, but I'm saying.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Texas A & M was 11-1 in the regular season
- 37:01Speaker 2: last year. And that was where everyone was talking about
- 37:04Speaker 2: the schedule, which turned out to be kind of true.
- 37:07Speaker 2: So they're 11-1.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Miami... They were a two-loss team on the outs looking in. Yep.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Two-loss team... I'm trying to think. They played, what, week
- 37:16Speaker 1: one of the season?
- 37:17Speaker 6: So are both of you on board that if Notre
- 37:20Speaker 6: Dame loses to Miami and the only two games they
- 37:22Speaker 6: had this year that they lost, that they should still
- 37:25Speaker 6: be in the playoffs?
- 37:26Speaker 1: It depends on how the year plays out. Like you
- 37:28Speaker 1: heard me last week saying that there could still be
- 37:31Speaker 1: that path for Notre Dame because I feel like everybody
- 37:33Speaker 1: else publicly will just see the BYU and the Miami game.
- 37:37Speaker 1: But say it's a one possession game, say similar to
- 37:41Speaker 1: this BYU game, and they lose to Miami in that fashion.
- 37:43Speaker 1: And Miami is the number one team in the country.
- 37:47Speaker 1: at that time, because right now in the AP, Miami's
- 37:48Speaker 1: the number one team in the country. If you have
- 37:51Speaker 1: that slim of a, like, number one and number two
- 37:53Speaker 1: team right now is Miami and BYU, and you have
- 37:56Speaker 1: those sliver losses, and you take care, like, say SMU
- 37:59Speaker 1: continues to be a potential ACC championship candidate and Notre
- 38:02Speaker 1: Dame beats SMU, that's gonna be a quality win. If
- 38:05Speaker 1: North Carolina continues to grind out wins, like, North Carolina
- 38:10Speaker 1: looks like more of a quality, if Wisconsin takes care
- 38:13Speaker 1: of their schedule, Notre Dame dismantled them at the beginning
- 38:17Speaker 1: of the season. Those would be considered, as far as
- 38:21Speaker 1: record goes, and people are going to get in the playoff,
- 38:23Speaker 1: quality-esque wins.
- 38:25Speaker 6: I think a 9-3 team in the SEC should be
- 38:28Speaker 6: raising hell. If Notre Dame gets put in above them.
- 38:31Speaker 2: If you're an SEC team, that's a three loss team.
- 38:35Speaker 2: You should be raising hell.
- 38:36Speaker 6: You're playing a nine game conference season and Notre Dame's
- 38:39Speaker 6: allowed to cherry pick their schedule and lose the two
- 38:42Speaker 6: games they put on there to appease everyone. And you
- 38:45Speaker 6: lose those two and you still get into the playoff.
- 38:47Speaker 6: Like then the restructuring.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Has to take place.
- 38:50Speaker 5: And then like, One little thing to that wrinkle with
- 38:53Speaker 5: the CFP rule that Notre Dame has, where if they're
- 38:55Speaker 5: ranked in the top 12. So the problem is now
- 38:57Speaker 5: they're only number four right now. And if they lose
- 38:59Speaker 5: to Miami, that would mean right now, if we're looking
- 39:02Speaker 5: at it, they lost to number one and number two.
- 39:03Speaker 5: How do you drop them out of the top 12?
- 39:05Speaker 5: They're in the playoffs.
- 39:05Speaker 1: No, no, no doubt. No doubt. Which I would agree with. Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: You would want to drop them out?
- 39:11Speaker 6: No, no, no.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I'm saying, how do you keep them out? I'm saying, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 1: I would agree with that.
- 39:15Speaker 2: No, where Notre Dame is positioned after this week of
- 39:17Speaker 2: the AP– unless they like get blown out and they
- 39:21Speaker 2: lose to SMU but SMU's got Wake Forest right before
- 39:24Speaker 2: Notre Dame Sherman just had the schedule up It's Muffin, Muffin, Muffin,
- 39:28Speaker 2: Wake Forest.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And then Notre Dame. The CFP rankings will be different
- 39:33Speaker 1: than the AP. The AP is just, that's for us
- 39:36Speaker 1: to continue to argue about all year. The CFP rankings
- 39:38Speaker 1: that come out are going to just, they're not going
- 39:41Speaker 1: like maybe public narrative wise, they could go off it
- 39:43Speaker 1: a little bit, but it is a different, it is
- 39:45Speaker 1: a different polling situation. They're close, but not, not. Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 2: This might take too long to look up, but I
- 39:50Speaker 2: would love to see the first college football bracket, college
- 39:55Speaker 2: football playoff bracket that came out compared to that same
- 39:59Speaker 2: week of the AP poll.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Good call. I would like it. You can look at it.
- 40:01Speaker 7: You're talking not last year, but you're talking the very,
- 40:05Speaker 7: very beginning of CFP. He's talking last year at the
- 40:09Speaker 7: week the CFP rankings came out.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I think it comes out week 10, right? I think
- 40:12Speaker 1: you can look that up on ESPN. The AP.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Because you are right. It's clearly its own classification
- 40:19Speaker 2: of ranking teams. But if it's similar and Notre Dame
- 40:22Speaker 2: comes in that 4-5 spot and their only two losses
- 40:24Speaker 2: are to the number one, number two team as it
- 40:27Speaker 2: stands right now, those teams continue to take care of business.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Then it's like, yeah, Notre Dame should absolutely be in.
- 40:32Speaker 2: If Notre Dame, even at BYU, BYU and Miami fall
- 40:36Speaker 2: off a cliff after where they're positioned, they're going to
- 40:39Speaker 2: be in the playoff, which is, I know graveyard hates it.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You can see him shaking his head right now.
- 40:44Speaker 5: But do you think, do you think Notre Dame would
- 40:45Speaker 5: have won on that last play? If they got a
- 40:46Speaker 5: second left, do you think they would have won the game?
- 40:51Speaker 1: That hypothetical right there is what the CFP voters, when
- 40:55Speaker 1: they're all sitting in a room, there's going to be
- 40:56Speaker 1: many people being like, I mean, dude, they should have
- 40:58Speaker 1: beat BYU. They should have, could have, yeah.
- 41:02Speaker 5: There is human element into the rankings, especially CFP, and
- 41:06Speaker 5: I'm sure there's a lot of Notre Dame people that
- 41:08Speaker 5: feel they should have won that game.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, for sure. Which will help. It's a quality loss,
- 41:12Speaker 1: as they call it. That's a bad loss. I mean,
- 41:15Speaker 1: that's a bad argument, but it's still... I couldn't believe
- 41:18Speaker 1: they kept Notre Dame in like the top four, top five.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Number four in the AP.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Just because of how much they've like thrown people 10
- 41:24Speaker 2: spots at points early in the season. And now everyone's
- 41:27Speaker 2: like incrementally getting up. Like Wake Forest only coming up
- 41:30Speaker 2: a little bit. Georgia only dropping a little. It's just
- 41:32Speaker 2: like Georgia loss was number one in the country. They
- 41:34Speaker 2: lost to an unranked team. And they're sitting at the
- 41:36Speaker 2: five spot now. That's kind of nuts.
- 41:40Speaker 1: That's wild. Alabama, same way. They lost two weeks in
- 41:42Speaker 1: a row. They're sitting at 19 right now. It's all...
- 41:47Speaker 1: Very biased towards the SEC. But Ole Miss on the
- 41:49Speaker 1: other end. Where's Bama at this week? They're 19. I see.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I don't mind that. It's like after they barely lost
- 41:56Speaker 1: to Georgia. Oh, they're 13. Yeah. My fault. After they
- 42:01Speaker 1: barely lost to Georgia, the thought was like, okay, we
- 42:05Speaker 1: could be watching two of the best teams ever. battle
- 42:08Speaker 1: right now. So they, they, I want to say they
- 42:09Speaker 1: might've fell. I don't know what they were last week.
- 42:12Speaker 1: They went to like six or seven. Like I know,
- 42:14Speaker 1: like when I was, when I was thinking about it,
- 42:16Speaker 1: they were sitting around the six, the six slots. So
- 42:19Speaker 1: after they get kind of out, they know not after
- 42:22Speaker 1: kind of, they got out physical in Tennessee in Neyland stadium.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, you got to drop, you got to
- 42:27Speaker 1: drop them down several slots. Georgia, you can't lose to
- 42:32Speaker 1: an unranked team.
- 42:33Speaker 2: No, but if you looked at week one, you know,
- 42:37Speaker 2: the five or six weeks prior to this, when teams
- 42:40Speaker 2: would lose and there was that parody going on about
- 42:42Speaker 2: Florida having a massive win versus Ole Miss, then losing
- 42:45Speaker 2: to Missouri, all those things, teams were being thrown around
- 42:48Speaker 2: like 10 spots at some points, which is now we're
- 42:51Speaker 2: getting to the middle of the season. The ultimate chaos
- 42:54Speaker 2: takes place. Five of the top seven teams lose. And
- 42:58Speaker 2: now it's like, well, we'll just.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Move them a little bit.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Because AP voters are thinking to themselves like, you know,
- 43:04Speaker 2: Mercury was in retrograde or some shit was going on
- 43:07Speaker 2: to where this is just, it was chaos. We kind of,
- 43:09Speaker 2: we can't get too crazy with it. But it just
- 43:11Speaker 2: happens to be that the SEC is moving very little
- 43:15Speaker 2: compared to some other teams. Because like Ole Miss, Ole
- 43:18Speaker 2: Miss should be ranked higher than seven right now, especially with,
- 43:22Speaker 2: All those teams losing. They just dismantled a Missouri team
- 43:24Speaker 2: that was, what, number 13, 16? They were top 20
- 43:28Speaker 2: in the AP poll. And they dominated them.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Yeah. In my opinion, they're Ole Miss. You can't get
- 43:36Speaker 1: whooped by Florida at the time. Yeah. Like, if they
- 43:41Speaker 1: had a closer margin of loss, like, I could see
- 43:44Speaker 1: why they should be higher than where they're at. But
- 43:46Speaker 1: to me, it's like you can't get dog-walked. by Florida
- 43:49Speaker 1: coming after that LSU game. Yeah, absolutely. You know what
- 43:54Speaker 1: I mean? I'm on board with people saying that Ole
- 43:58Speaker 1: Miss is one of the better teams in the country
- 43:59Speaker 1: and that was a massive letdown spot. They're right about that,
- 44:01Speaker 1: but if you're looking at resumes and what teams are
- 44:04Speaker 1: doing right now, it's like, yeah, why should they be higher?
- 44:07Speaker 1: Because what is the, bring up the rankings this week.
- 44:13Speaker 4: AP?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, the AP rankings. Yeah, bring those up. And I
- 44:17Speaker 1: feel like we're missing more games too. There's just so
- 44:19Speaker 1: much that went down. I know, there's so much chaos.
- 44:21Speaker 2: But this is like, truly, this might have been the
- 44:22Speaker 2: greatest week in college football. As far as like just general,
- 44:27Speaker 2: you know, don't think about your being a fan of
- 44:28Speaker 2: a team unless, you know, your team won. But the
- 44:31Speaker 2: chaos is just incredible.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Because to me, it's like, why should Ole Miss be
- 44:35Speaker 1: over an undefeated UCLA right now who's taking care of
- 44:38Speaker 1: their schedule? You can talk about their opponents and wins
- 44:40Speaker 1: and shit all you want. Dude, they're undefeated. One of
- 44:43Speaker 1: the few undefeated teams left. One of like four undefeated
- 44:45Speaker 1: teams left. In the big two conferences. And then you got,
- 44:48Speaker 1: it's like Texas Tech. They're undefeated. This is the AP
- 44:51Speaker 1: right here? Yes, sir.
- 44:54Speaker 2: It's like Indiana lost by three feet. Literally three feet.
- 44:58Speaker 2: And they went to six. What were they before? Four?
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like I don't mind Indiana still being ranked ahead
- 45:05Speaker 1: of Ole Miss. But Ole Miss being ahead of Texas Tech,
- 45:07Speaker 1: who's undefeated. UCLA, who's undefeated. I can see the argument
- 45:11Speaker 1: for Utah because they just survived against Colorado. Undefeated, though. Undefeated, though.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Because I don't disagree that the SEC, it's got the
- 45:21Speaker 1: most depth. It is the hardest. It's like you're sitting
- 45:23Speaker 1: there battling. They can eat you alive internally. But right now,
- 45:27Speaker 1: where the rankings are and who's taking care of their schedule,
- 45:29Speaker 1: it's like the minute one of those Big 12 teams
- 45:32Speaker 1: loses or they do lose, then that's where it's like
- 45:34Speaker 1: it wipes them off. Oh, yeah. It wipes them all
- 45:37Speaker 1: the way down. I'm not saying that a one-loss Texas
- 45:39Speaker 1: Tech or one-loss UCLA or one-loss Utah shouldn't be ranked
- 45:43Speaker 1: ahead of Ole Miss. I'm just saying what we've seen,
- 45:46Speaker 1: and I don't know if Florida was ranked at the time.
- 45:49Speaker 1: They might have been lower. But they whoop you by
- 45:51Speaker 1: three or four possessions, three or four scores. You just
- 45:54Speaker 1: can't have that. You can't have that on your resume
- 45:57Speaker 1: right now if we're doing middle of the year, where
- 46:00Speaker 1: teams should be, where they shouldn't be. Because I also agree.
- 46:02Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, Ole Miss looks like they are one
- 46:04Speaker 1: of the best teams in the country. They have to
- 46:06Speaker 1: continue to stack wins in the SEC and they will
- 46:10Speaker 1: be rewarded as such. Yeah.
- 46:13Speaker 2: The only thing for me is like, if we're going
- 46:14Speaker 2: to now go from this dramatic moving teams, 10 spots,
- 46:18Speaker 2: five spots, like very far apart to go into, okay,
- 46:21Speaker 2: we're only going to do incremental because this is how
- 46:23Speaker 2: we feel. It's really shaping up in a good way.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:26Speaker 2: So if a big 12 team loses, that's in this
- 46:28Speaker 2: top 10 category. So there's three, BYU, Texas Tech, and Utah.
- 46:31Speaker 2: One of these teams lose. Let's not get crazy and
- 46:34Speaker 2: have them all of a sudden at 24. Does that
- 46:36Speaker 2: make sense? We understand at this point it's clearly the
- 46:41Speaker 2: Big Ten and the SEC. But the Big 12 just
- 46:47Speaker 2: showed they just beat a contender this week. Whether they
- 46:50Speaker 2: should have won, not have won, whatever. The Big 12
- 46:52Speaker 2: just did that. ACC, still all the things. But we
- 46:56Speaker 2: got to start treating... these conferences a little more failure
- 47:01Speaker 2: based on where we're at right now in college football.
- 47:03Speaker 5: People ain't ready for the Texas beats Ole Miss this week.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Texas back in the CFP rankings. People aren't ready for
- 47:10Speaker 5: that one next week if that happens. If that happens,
- 47:13Speaker 5: that's just nuts.
- 47:14Speaker 1: That would be wild. Taylor, Josh Pate.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Josh Pate put Arch Manning in the A-gap this week.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Look what he did. Yeah. Before we get to that, Sherm.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You want to talk about Nebraska? I mean, we lost. Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 1: It sucked. I mean, fuck. You're sitting there. Dylan Rayola
- 47:36Speaker 1: comes in the fourth quarter. He leads the charge and
- 47:40Speaker 1: they win the game. We lose another one in the
- 47:42Speaker 1: fourth quarter. Everybody's fucking panicking. That's what pisses me off.
- 47:48Speaker 1: The fire rule fodder is out there. No, it's not. Yes, man.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Which is bullshit. And it is so fucking stupid.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Because real quick, the last two games you guys played,
- 47:57Speaker 2: you played. the defending national champs, and a team that
- 48:01Speaker 2: a lot of people picked to win the national championship,
- 48:03Speaker 2: and you've lost by a total of six points.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Bro, it's like every Husker fan, if you poll them
- 48:09Speaker 1: in August, hey, after seven weeks of play, you're going
- 48:13Speaker 1: to be five and two, and you're going to lose...
- 48:16Speaker 1: nail biter by three points to Indiana and you're going
- 48:19Speaker 1: to lose a nail biter by three points at Eugene,
- 48:22Speaker 1: Oregon in the latest game possible the next week back
- 48:25Speaker 1: to back. Would you take that five and two record?
- 48:28Speaker 1: It's like, yes, bro. Absolutely. Across the board. Because we're
- 48:32Speaker 1: in the bye week. We've had two, two games back
- 48:35Speaker 1: to back. And I know everybody's like, hey, Oregon, you
- 48:38Speaker 1: can't beat the backup quarterback. Dylan and is it Brock Thomas? Yep. Yeah,
- 48:43Speaker 1: but bro, they return basically everybody else. That roster is
- 48:49Speaker 1: still that roster. That $ 40 million roster is still out
- 48:52Speaker 1: there without Dante Moore. And you lost a tough one
- 48:56Speaker 1: in Eugene. You know I'll find every spin I possibly can,
- 49:01Speaker 1: but I'm like, even going in, it's like, yeah, we
- 49:03Speaker 1: should beat Oregon, but I hate the fact that we're
- 49:06Speaker 1: playing at fucking... 10 PM central time. Crazy. Just hated
- 49:09Speaker 1: that spot. And I'm not saying that's what caused us
- 49:12Speaker 1: to lose the game. Um, but the fact that we're
- 49:15Speaker 1: in the bye week we host washington all on halloween
- 49:18Speaker 1: for the blackout you have you got to go into
- 49:20Speaker 1: illinois you got to go into rutgers like you have
- 49:23Speaker 1: three of those winnable games like we are still literally
- 49:27Speaker 1: in the middle of the season you lost a couple
- 49:29Speaker 1: battles tight ones to quality football teams, especially Indiana, one
- 49:32Speaker 1: of the best teams in the country. And they just
- 49:34Speaker 1: took Ohio State all the way down to the last
- 49:37Speaker 1: play and should have won that game. And you have
- 49:39Speaker 1: Ohio State on your schedule coming to Nebraska. So you
- 49:42Speaker 1: see that Ohio State is also bleedable. Like you can still,
- 49:45Speaker 1: you can win the rest of the fucking season. And
- 49:48Speaker 1: we're panicking talking about, oh, we need to fire Coach Rule.
- 49:51Speaker 1: We need to fire Holgerson. We're getting our coach. Like, bro,
- 49:54Speaker 1: we have a quarterback. We have a run game that
- 49:56Speaker 1: was getting shut down, but we have the guys. Defense
- 49:59Speaker 1: played lights out until those last two series. They played
- 50:03Speaker 1: lights out. Like, Dylan, he threaded the needle. Like, they
- 50:06Speaker 1: beat us. And I hate to panic because this whole season,
- 50:09Speaker 1: it's a 12-game season. It's a war. And you're going
- 50:13Speaker 1: into this last stretch after a bye week, and you
- 50:17Speaker 1: can't sit there and look. And I know it's drinking
- 50:19Speaker 1: the Kool-Aid and it's delusion and everything else. But, man,
- 50:22Speaker 1: what we just put on tape for the first seven
- 50:25Speaker 1: weeks is is yeah, we got to finish ball games
- 50:28Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter, but it's detailed stuff that, hey,
- 50:31Speaker 1: you have the bye week to continue to hone in
- 50:33Speaker 1: and dial in on it, and you can potentially win
- 50:37Speaker 1: out the rest of your games. It sounds diabolical because like, oh,
- 50:41Speaker 1: you think you're going to beat them? I'm not saying that.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I'm just saying you can sit here and look at
- 50:45Speaker 1: the rest of this game, these games with what happened
- 50:48Speaker 1: over the weekend. Like, dude, so many teams lost. Everybody's
- 50:52Speaker 1: sitting there salivating of the opportunity to get back in
- 50:54Speaker 1: the run of their conference championship. South Carolina, they were
- 50:57Speaker 1: left for dead. And now they have an opportunity against
- 51:00Speaker 1: Tennessee this week to get back fucking in it. Like,
- 51:02Speaker 1: we can be there at the end of the year.
- 51:04Speaker 1: It's just, I hate the panic. I fucking hate the panic.
- 51:08Speaker 1: I hate everybody sputtering about, we need to do this.
- 51:11Speaker 1: We're never going to win the big, blah, blah, blah, dude.
- 51:13Speaker 1: fuck all that noise. Yeah. We got the bye week
- 51:16Speaker 1: and let's take out fucking Washington when they come to
- 51:19Speaker 1: town and then see how that team performs and let's
- 51:22Speaker 1: go on a fucking run. Hell yeah. What was the
- 51:25Speaker 1: theme for today's episode? There was like a theme at
- 51:28Speaker 1: the very beginning. I think it was anyone, anybody can bleed.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Anybody can fucking bleed.
- 51:33Speaker 2: And you're looking at that Ohio State game on November 21st.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Let's say Julian Sane's not there. We don't know what
- 51:37Speaker 2: that backup quarterback's going to do. I'm sure right now
- 51:39Speaker 2: they're just begging for Lincoln Kineholz to be their second
- 51:43Speaker 2: string quarterback. Because if he was, holy shit, Ohio State
- 51:45Speaker 2: would take off probably. But I'm with you, dude.
- 51:50Speaker 1: It's like, dude, we haven't talked about Michigan at all.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I know, I know, but hold on.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I want to stay on Nebraska for a little bit
- 51:56Speaker 2: because you guys have, you're absolutely right. You guys are
- 52:00Speaker 2: a different football team. The thing you guys have to
- 52:02Speaker 2: figure out is how the fuck do you guys get
- 52:05Speaker 2: rid of this bullshit program you guys have of we
- 52:10Speaker 2: just can't get it done? Because you're in the fourth quarter.
- 52:12Speaker 2: When we sat there, Nebraska, Indiana, two weeks ago, we
- 52:15Speaker 2: all sat and we felt the energy in the air.
- 52:18Speaker 2: None of us could breathe. when Nick Marsh took that
- 52:21Speaker 2: 75-yard slam to the house. And everybody who is a
- 52:24Speaker 2: Nebraska fan who's been bleeding red for as long as however, whatever,
- 52:28Speaker 2: I looked around and it was like, all these people
- 52:30Speaker 2: believe they're going to lose this game now. And you
- 52:33Speaker 2: guys were still up. And so we've got to take
- 52:36Speaker 2: that and you just got to get one. You just
- 52:38Speaker 2: got to get one win, one fourth quarter against a
- 52:42Speaker 2: good logo that's like, all right, we can do this.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Because the only thing that's in between you guys is
- 52:46Speaker 2: your own brain. You guys' programming is crazy. because you've
- 52:50Speaker 2: gone through a whole decade of hurt. Now, was that
- 52:55Speaker 2: a touchdown to Gilmore?
- 52:59Speaker 1: To Kwasi? Kwasi. Oh, yeah. All right. When they're showing
- 53:05Speaker 1: the replay, they're saying the angle of- His foot, his
- 53:10Speaker 1: cleat scraped the ground.
- 53:13Speaker 2: When you're watching it, and listen, I'm not arguing, we're
- 53:17Speaker 2: having a conversation, I'm.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Not like shitting.
- 53:20Speaker 2: That was as close as, it was called a touchdown,
- 53:23Speaker 2: so it should have stayed a touchdown. When I'm watching
- 53:27Speaker 2: it back though, and they're showing one angle from the
- 53:31Speaker 2: end zone view, it looks like it absolutely touches, but
- 53:34Speaker 2: when they show it from the field view, I'm like,
- 53:37Speaker 2: I don't think that, because there's no pellets that come up,
- 53:40Speaker 2: there's nothing.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I saw a little scrapeage. And the fact too, like
- 53:44Speaker 1: I'm sitting there. I'm watching and I'm like, oh fuck,
- 53:46Speaker 1: they can turn this over. Because that was. It wasn't clear.
- 53:50Speaker 2: I mean, that was a three field goal game at
- 53:52Speaker 2: that point if they got that done.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Dot. That's a great ball. And him keeping control on
- 53:59Speaker 1: his leg.
- 54:00Speaker 3: Unreal.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I thought it was pretty unreal.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Like it was called a touchdown. It should have stayed
- 54:04Speaker 2: a touchdown. But it was as great as I've ever seen.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'm like. It would have stayed in incomplete capacity. Yes.
- 54:11Speaker 1: You're right about that. And I'm not- You're right about that.
- 54:13Speaker 2: I will say this to you. I don't know who
- 54:14Speaker 2: you got to call. You should probably call- Quasi's got
- 54:16Speaker 2: some interesting body language at times. He's got some interesting
- 54:19Speaker 2: body language.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Because he's- Comma Quasi. You could just tell he's a
- 54:23Speaker 1: hell of- What's that? Comma Quasi. Yeah, Comma Quasi.
- 54:28Speaker 2: He's a hell of a ball player. But there's times
- 54:30Speaker 2: I saw him, I'm like, hey, you almost seem like
- 54:33Speaker 2: you're mad about something. Like you just got to go
- 54:35Speaker 2: and do your thing. But anyway, Nebraska's a different ball
- 54:38Speaker 2: club regardless of, hey, we think that we felt like
- 54:43Speaker 2: the old Nebraska would also be five and two at
- 54:44Speaker 2: this point.
- 54:45Speaker 1: But the five and two- Oh, I don't know, bro.
- 54:48Speaker 1: We would have probably dropped, like we wouldn't have came
- 54:51Speaker 1: out like McDougal wouldn't have picked that ball off and
- 54:54Speaker 1: went six against Maryland when we were down against Maryland
- 54:58Speaker 1: and they were driving on us. I love McDougal. And
- 55:00Speaker 1: we would have been in an absolute dog fight with
- 55:02Speaker 1: Michigan in the fourth quarter, with Michigan State in the
- 55:04Speaker 1: fourth quarter. Yeah. I'll just say, cause I'm with you
- 55:07Speaker 1: on the whole brain psychology. It's I, I hate all
- 55:10Speaker 1: that stuff because you sit there and look around the
- 55:12Speaker 1: rest of college football. It's like people, the Michigan message
- 55:15Speaker 1: boards are sitting there talking about Whittingham being fired a
- 55:18Speaker 1: week ago. Yeah. Right. You look at, you look at Texas.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Everybody wants to get rid of Sark right now, but
- 55:24Speaker 1: they have, again, an opportunity this weekend to get back
- 55:27Speaker 1: on track. All these teams that are just absolutely panicking
- 55:30Speaker 1: when it is a 12-game season, and you look around
- 55:33Speaker 1: college football, there's so much parity and there's so much
- 55:35Speaker 1: opportunity that it's like, why are we sitting here calling
- 55:38Speaker 1: for heads in the middle of the fucking year? Yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 1: At all times.
- 55:41Speaker 2: But Nebraska does look different. When you bring up the Sark,
- 55:44Speaker 2: it's like Sark has all the tools. They've given them
- 55:48Speaker 2: the $ 50 million roster, all that, like, If I'm Texas
- 55:51Speaker 2: and I like Sark, I can understand that argument better
- 55:54Speaker 2: than this Matt Rule argument. Because his Matt Rule argument is,
- 55:58Speaker 2: we just got to get over this mental head case situation.
- 56:01Speaker 2: This is a yip fourth quarter situation. Because you're competitive.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Regardless of how Oregon's done this year, still a $ 40
- 56:07Speaker 2: million roster, still one of the best rosters in college football. Yeah,
- 56:10Speaker 2: their quarterback's out. but you have to handle everybody else.
- 56:13Speaker 2: And you were in Autzen, in Eugene, and were in
- 56:16Speaker 2: the game at the end of it. Which if we
- 56:19Speaker 2: looked at in August or July, and we're looking at
- 56:21Speaker 2: the schedule, it's like, yeah, like Oregon's going to smack
- 56:24Speaker 2: you guys. Like you guys are going to be, this
- 56:27Speaker 2: is in Oregon, late game, all the talent they have.
- 56:31Speaker 1: After Indiana.
- 56:32Speaker 2: The logical brain is like, yeah, they're going to get
- 56:34Speaker 2: murdered here. And you guys were in it regardless.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Michigan. Michigan. It's Tommy Carr season right now.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Because we talked about all those games going on.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I know.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Also on the TV was a dog fight. A dog fight.
- 56:47Speaker 1: With Penn State.
- 56:48Speaker 2: And there was one person in Texas Tech that was
- 56:51Speaker 2: even interested in that logo game of Michigan and Penn State.
- 56:54Speaker 1: And it was me.
- 56:55Speaker 2: You guys were watching Ole Miss, Missouri and Alabama and Tennessee.
- 57:00Speaker 2: And I'm watching there being like, how many? The first
- 57:03Speaker 2: quarter went by, dude. And both teams had one series.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 1: That's it.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Like I wanted to be into it, but the way
- 57:10Speaker 2: it was dragging. It was just a defensive ball game.
- 57:14Speaker 2: It was one of the most boring first quarters. So
- 57:17Speaker 2: even I'm sitting there like, holy shit, dude.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Are we going to get anything going? Like Penn State
- 57:20Speaker 1: taking 10 minutes off the clock in the first quarter,
- 57:22Speaker 1: inching it all the way down to the four and
- 57:24Speaker 1: then settling for a field goal is nuts.
- 57:28Speaker 2: And then like we go into half, we have 80
- 57:30Speaker 2: total yards of offense. Bryce Underwood's got two interceptions. One,
- 57:34Speaker 2: not really his fault, but also like, Marsh had a step,
- 57:39Speaker 2: and he underthrows the ball.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Marsh catches it.
- 57:40Speaker 2: It was similar to Coleman, Texas versus Ohio State, when
- 57:44Speaker 2: that ball just kind of bounces in the air. This play,
- 57:48Speaker 2: this is not when he got benched, but he, yeah,
- 57:50Speaker 2: clearly bad body language in the situation. Goes in at halftime,
- 57:53Speaker 2: comes out, Tommy Carr season takes place. Tommy Carr, like,
- 57:58Speaker 2: stat line is not great. I mean, it is what
- 57:59Speaker 2: it is. It's five for seven, 46 yards. He rushes
- 58:01Speaker 2: for 36 yards. But we had 80 yards of total
- 58:05Speaker 2: offense in the first half. Second half, as the game's over,
- 58:08Speaker 2: we have over 300 yards of offense. Rushed it for
- 58:10Speaker 2: a buck 80. Like downhill, boys going, finally holes taking place.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Like it seemed like a different team. And I understand
- 58:17Speaker 2: that Penn State from a rushing defense is not great.
- 58:21Speaker 2: So I sit here and I look at this Indiana
- 58:22Speaker 2: team who seems very vulnerable. They can bleed. They can bleed.
- 58:26Speaker 2: I just saw Nebraska take them to the wire. Ohio State,
- 58:30Speaker 2: they should have won that game. But like Ohio State
- 58:32Speaker 2: has shown they can bleed too.
- 58:34Speaker 1: And I got a.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Weird bit of optimism taking place. It's just going to be,
- 58:37Speaker 2: can Tommy Carr throw the football effectively in this game?
- 58:42Speaker 2: Because you're going to, it seems like you're going to
- 58:43Speaker 2: be able to run it. Can we just get it
- 58:46Speaker 2: down to the fourth quarter? And Iowa Signetti. Can we
- 58:49Speaker 2: just Iowa Signetti in this one? That's what it's all about, boys.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Because our defense is going to keep us in this game.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Our defense is good.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Our defense is elite. So we'll see, dude.
- 59:01Speaker 1: This will be one. Oh, what's the line on this game?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Eight and a half. It was seven and a half
- 59:06Speaker 1: last night. It might be eight and a half now.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Let it keep going up. Keep giving the points, man.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Keep giving me points as I'm taking Michigan. Yeah, bro.
- 59:16Speaker 1: It's like I wish I had a feel. I have
- 59:18Speaker 1: no feel. I know your defense is going to keep
- 59:19Speaker 1: you guys in the game. Seven and a half. Yeah.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Seven and a half. Yeah, it's like every game. The
- 59:26Speaker 2: defense keeps us in every single game. We had three
- 59:28Speaker 2: turnovers in the second half. We caused three turnovers in
- 59:30Speaker 2: the second half. Zero took care of the football. And
- 59:33Speaker 2: it's like, can you just get first downs? Just get
- 59:37Speaker 2: first downs. Get it across the 50.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Take time off the clock. The chaos could ensue. You
- 59:44Speaker 1: guys take down this Indiana ball club.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 59:48Speaker 2: It's a big, it's, this is, this is everything. We're
- 59:51Speaker 2: going to know everything we need to know about Michigan
- 59:53Speaker 2: after this week. That's what we're going to find out.
- 59:56Speaker 2: But that's all I got, dude.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Shout out to Wake Forest. Shout out to Wake Forest.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: They're ranked a little low in the eight people, but
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: shout out to Wake Forest. We see you. Oh, and
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: for Jack Coleman, Boston College, we see you. We see you.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: We see you. Can we get some, can we get
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: some G6 talk? Let's get some G6. Graveyard. Oh, Yeah. Yeah. No,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: no one's coming to save you back there. Come sit down.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: close to your mouth.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Just get that solo on the graveyard real quick for
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: our quick fix at the G6.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Hey, that heart is going crazy right now. Well,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: it's always going crazy, but yeah.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: We're also brought to you by Neutral. Neutral is teaming

- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Neutral, keep it tasty. Give us the fix, man. Fix
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the G6, presented by Graveyard.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: Yep, being at the midway point of this season, I
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: thought just do a little State of the Union for
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: each conference. and I added literary elements to each conference.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: So the Sun Belt, I'm gonna do a haiku for.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: This one's dedicated to JP, because he likes Japan. James
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: Madison flees, huddled masses yearning free, American dream.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: You can feel the tortured tone, like the inspiration came
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: from the only good team, James Madison, leaving the Sun
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: Belt for the American Conference. But yeah, just kind of
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: a sad pathos in that one. As you can hear.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: For the Conference USA, I did a limerick. This one's
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: dedicated to Will because I assume he's Irish. Cocks and
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: flames are tops here in conference play. It's a real
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: safe haven in the CUSA. Liberty and Jacksonville hold the
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: hands up the hill. While the Hilltoppers pitch tents, they
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: aren't here to stay.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: See, that's like a.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: Like the rhyming scheme of a limerick just goes A-A-B-B-A.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: But I've never understood the last one because it doesn't
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: ever tie into the first two lines. But all you
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: need to know there, Liberty and Jacksonville State are really
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: the only two teams worth a shit in the Conference USA.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Um.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: For the Pac-12, I did a whimsical poem inspired by
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: Shel Silverstein. I cannot go to school today, said little
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: Peggy Ann McKay. San Diego State has the measles and
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: the mumps, and everyone else in this conference is in
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: a slump.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Pac-12?
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: But teams, there are only eight. And how Pacific is
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: Texas State? Check my temp because I think I have
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: a fever. It seems to be between the Broncos and
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: the Beavers. That one is because Boise State and Oregon
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: State are the only two good.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Teams in that conference. Maybe we should check in.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Do you guys like these?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: We're having a blast right now. Okay, that's good. Comment below.
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: Just doing the same thing every week. Didn't know if
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: you just wanted to be up here. Talking about.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Go ahead. Keep cooking.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: It's like, hey, Ball State plays Sac State this week
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: in the Mac. Ball Sac Trophy. First ever.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I put the glasses on for a reason.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: We're going to do poems. Okay. The Mac, I did
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: an acrostic. Do you guys know what an acrostic is?
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: No.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: No.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: So it's like when you take a word and then
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: you just kind of like put it like hot dog style.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Okay. And then you make the poem within the word.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: What inspired you to do this? Because the Mac has
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: three letters.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Okay. All right. Tiny hot dog.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: So Mac.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Here we go. Mediocre ass conference. Which I guess isn't
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: really an acrostic. That's more.
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: It's already an acronym, so I just did like a
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: other acronym. And that's kind of lazy, so that's on me,
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: but I'll take it.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: American Conference. I did a song. Okay. You wrote a
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: full song. No, not a full song.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: This is a tribute to the Charlotte 49ers getting their
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: first win over Temple. They went from Bad Charlotte to
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: Good Charlotte. And I call this one the anthem for
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: the American Conference. Okay.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: That's a song by Good Charlotte. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: Five, six, seven, eight. I don't ever want to, I
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: don't ever want to play you. I don't ever want
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: to play you TSA. What I'm saying is this is
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: the American and they are six and one only lost
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: to Texas. And you don't want to play you TSA.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: And the last one mountain West, I ran out of
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: literary devices. So I just did a fun fact. Uh,
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: Ahead of the big Mountain West game we have between
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: North Dakota State and New Mexico, New Mexico's mascot Lobos
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: comes from the Latin word for wolf, lupus, like the disease.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: And the reason for the disease being named lupus was
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: because early physicians thought that the rash people got on
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: their face from the disease looked like a wolf's face.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: So that's the fun fact. All right.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Good to know. The fix of the G6.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Incredible work this week, Cody. Incredible work this week.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: All right, fellas.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: We feel good, Willie? Feel great, man. All right. Please
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: do us a favor. Subscribe. Rate five stars. Big hugs.
