- 0:00Leviticus chapter 23. Let us pray.
- 0:05We thank you God for who you are.
- 0:07Thank you God for saving our souls, or we thank you for
- 0:11eternity. We thank you, God, that you've
- 0:14given us the complete, infallible, inerrant word, or we
- 0:19thank you for all the many blessings that you've already
- 0:22poured out upon us. Lord, we thank you for the
- 0:27nation Israel. We thank you for the Jews,
- 0:30Father, We thank you that they are the natural and we're just
- 0:34the wild grafted in. We are the leaven grafted in to
- 0:40the unleavened. Thank you, Father, for this
- 0:42chapter, Lord. Thank you for opening up our
- 0:46eyes this morning to what it is that you want to say to us today
- 0:50for such a time as this. Thank you, God, for showing us
- 0:55through all of your Scripture what it is that we are to set
- 1:00our minds upon everything that is good and wholesome and
- 1:03righteous and holy, Father, that's what we meditate upon
- 1:06today. Help us not to go back into the
- 1:10toxic waste, Father, of all of the negativity that is buzzing
- 1:15all around us. Father.
- 1:16Help us not to be addicted to drama, God.
- 1:19Help us not to be addicted to all of the negativeness, Father,
- 1:23but I pray God that you rebuke the devourer from off of our
- 1:26families. Rebuke the devourer from off of
- 1:29our lives. God restore us and make us
- 1:31whole. Lord, cover us in the blood of
- 1:34Jesus today. God, we come into the holiest of
- 1:36holy places. You RIP the veil, Father.
- 1:39So Lord, we come in boldly to the throne room of grace.
- 1:43We thank you for grace and grace abounds and grace showering us,
- 1:47grace covering us. Thank you, God, that none of the
- 1:50sins that we've ever committed will be counted against us, God,
- 1:54because we have the atonement, we have the covering God, we
- 1:58have the righteousness of Christ and God.
- 2:01That's what we proclaimed today. We wave it in front of you
- 2:04today. We take all of the promises
- 2:06contained in the Word of God and we wave them in front of you,
- 2:10God, and we say, remember them, Father.
- 2:13Remember your promises to us, Word, as we dedicate our lives.
- 2:19Christ's Word. You are holy and worthy and
- 2:25magnificent in all of your ways, resplendent, Father.
- 2:29Your robe, God, it fills the temple, Lord.
- 2:33The train of your robe, it fills it, God.
- 2:35We cry out holy, holy, holy. We cover our eyes, we cover our
- 2:39mouths, God. Because you are so holy and set
- 2:43apart, you dwell in unapproachable light.
- 2:47God, burn out all the dross today.
- 2:55Burn out the impurities in the disease today, or we grab the
- 3:01hem of your garment. We receive our healing today,
- 3:06even now. Father, in this moment, cancer
- 3:10goes, diabetes leaves God, heart disease gone.
- 3:18In the name of Jesus, I pray prodigals come home.
- 3:24In the name of Jesus I pray marriage is restored.
- 3:30In the name of Jesus I pray all anger and malice and rage to
- 3:34leave. In the name of Jesus, I pray for
- 3:40all birth defects, mild deformities, God to be made
- 3:45whole and healed, limbs to regrow, father.
- 3:49In the name of Jesus, I pray walk on water to handle
- 3:53serpents, to drink, poise, Father, not be harmed.
- 3:59God Almighty, we believe every single one of the words that we
- 4:03read here in your Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, nothing
- 4:10added and nothing subtracted. It's not the Bible plus anything
- 4:14God. It is you and you and you alone
- 4:17with your infallible, inerrant word that we hold on to.
- 4:21We eat it today. We gorge upon the scroll today.
- 4:29It's sweet as honey in our mouth, but it's bitter in our
- 4:32belly. Thank you for all the promises
- 4:39contained in this book. Teach us your pass.
- 4:44I decrease as you increase. King Jesus, it's all about you
- 4:48and it's in your name that I pray.
- 4:50In Jesus name I pray Amen. Let's start in verse one.
- 4:59And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying To speak unto the
- 5:03children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of the
- 5:07Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even
- 5:11these are my feasts. So here's something that you're
- 5:14going to need to know, friends, from the beginning, as God's
- 5:17going to show them the seven feasts that He desires for them
- 5:21to keep as a perpetual reminder of what is to come.
- 5:26And four of them you're going to find in the spring, and three of
- 5:30them you're going to find in the fall.
- 5:32And there is a pause between them.
- 5:35And here's what you need to know from the outset.
- 5:38Before we even get into this chapter, you need to understand
- 5:41something. The four prior speak of Christ's
- 5:45first coming, then there's a long pause in between.
- 5:49And the three after that are in the fall speak of his second
- 5:52coming, friends, where he comes back roaring as a lion.
- 5:57And that is what we're going to have in the context of this
- 5:59chapter. So lock in.
- 6:01Pay attention friends, 3-6 days shall work be done, but on the
- 6:067th day it is a Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation.
- 6:11You shall do no work in it. It is the Sabbath of the Lord
- 6:15and all your dwellings. So before he even starts
- 6:18mentioning the seven feast, he goes ahead and gets it out of
- 6:21the way that every single week they don't need to wait annually
- 6:26to celebrate God. He's telling them that on six
- 6:30days he made everything, and on the 7th he rested, and they
- 6:34should take the 7th day and rest.
- 6:39These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations
- 6:43which you shall proclaim in their seasons.
- 6:45So every year, year after year, they were to adhere to all of
- 6:49these festivals. And here these holy convocations
- 6:53are the gatherings. And that's what we do week after
- 6:56week. We have a holy convocation on
- 6:58Sunday mornings 5 in the 14th day of the first month.
- 7:02That evening is the Lord's Passover.
- 7:04This speaks of Christ whenever the He was sacrificed on
- 7:09Passover when all the lambs were being slaughtered in the temple.
- 7:13That is the exact moment that Jesus was hanging on the cross.
- 7:17Friends. It speaks of His first coming
- 7:20and Him being put up on the cross. 6 And on the 15th day of
- 7:24the same month is the feast of Unleavened bread unto the Lord.
- 7:287 days you must eat unleavened bread.
- 7:30Christ decided to do this prior. This would have been done on
- 7:35Thursday night. This unleavened bread, this
- 7:38would have been the Last Supper in the upper room.
- 7:41Friends. Seven, in the first day you
- 7:44shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no servile work
- 7:48therein. This speaks of the Sunday
- 7:50Friends of His resurrection. Here you get to see in verse 7.
- 7:55This prefigures how we would worship on Sunday morning.
- 7:59This is the first day of the week, which would have been on a
- 8:03Sunday. This is not the Shabbat.
- 8:05This is God all the way back in Leviticus chapter 23, showing us
- 8:10that we would work on a Sunday. 8:00 But you shall offer an
- 8:13offering made by fire unto the Lord 7 days, and the 7th day is
- 8:18a holy convocation. You shall do no servile work
- 8:22therein. He wants them to rest.
- 8:24Think about how good God is all the other religions.
- 8:27They want you to work, and they want you to work for your
- 8:30salvation. And here God is telling them to
- 8:33not work to rest. Friends, what a good God we
- 8:36serve. 9 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, 10 Speak unto the
- 8:42children of Israel, and say unto them, When you shall come into
- 8:46the lamb which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest
- 8:49thereof, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of
- 8:54your harvest unto the priest. This is the resurrection of
- 8:57Christ, friends. He was the first fruits.
- 9:00He came, and he waved himself before the Lord as he rose from
- 9:04the dead. He was resurrected, friends, and
- 9:07his first fruits of all those who would ever receive a
- 9:11resurrected body. 11 And you shall wave the sheaf before the
- 9:15Lord to be accepted for you, and on the Morrow after the Sabbath,
- 9:20the priest shall wave it, that is on Sunday, friends, this
- 9:23speaks of the resurrection of Christ, where the stone was
- 9:27rolled away and Jesus Christ came forth.
- 9:30What an amazing God. All the way back here in
- 9:33Leviticus chapter 3, He's showing us that we will worship
- 9:36on Sunday. He's showing us the resurrection
- 9:39of Christ. He's showing us the Last Supper.
- 9:42He's showing us the Passover lamb sacrificed on the cross. 12
- 9:47And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf, a He
- 9:51lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering
- 9:55unto the Lord. So there's Christ prefigured as
- 9:58the male lamb without any blemish.
- 10:01He went to the slaughter silent before the shears, and he gave
- 10:06his life up. No one took it from him. 13 And
- 10:08the meat offering thereof shall be two tense deals of fine flour
- 10:12mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a
- 10:16sweet savor. And the drink offering thereof
- 10:19shall be wine in the fourth part of a hen.
- 10:21Can you see it, friends? The bread and the wine of the
- 10:25new covenant right there. 14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor
- 10:28parched corn, nor green ears until the self same day that
- 10:32you've brought an offering unto your God.
- 10:35It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations and
- 10:38all your dwellings. Think about it, friends.
- 10:41They are not to eat of anything until this wave offering.
- 10:44We didn't even have life until the resurrection section of
- 10:47Jesus Christ, whenever He promised us the Holy Spirit
- 10:51would come. 15 And you shall count unto you from the Morrow
- 10:56after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of
- 10:59the wave offering seven Sabbath shall be complete. 16 Even until
- 11:04the Morrow after the 7th Sabbath, you shall #50 days.
- 11:10What does that sound like, friends?
- 11:12And you shall offer a new meat off offering unto the Lord.
- 11:15He's talking about Pentecost. And this is whenever the Holy
- 11:19Spirit came, tongues of fire came down in the upper room.
- 11:22This is whenever people heard their own languages outside of
- 11:26that at 9:00 in the morning when they thought that they were
- 11:29drunk friends. And Peter says it's 9:00 in the
- 11:32morning and they could hear their own languages perfectly
- 11:36proclaiming God friends proclaiming what had been done.
- 11:40Friends, here is when we received the Holy Spirit, that
- 11:44helper that came on the day of Pentecost and is prefigured all
- 11:48the way back, types and shadows all the way back here in
- 11:51Leviticus chapter 2317. You shall bring out of your
- 11:55habitations 2 wave loaves of two tents.
- 11:59Deals shall be taken a fine flour, and they shall be baked
- 12:02with leaven. They are the first fruits unto
- 12:08the Lord. This 11 Friends, this is the
- 12:11Gentiles coming in. Friends, this is the church
- 12:14being birthed at the day of Pentecost, 3000.
- 12:17People giving their life over to the Lord on that day. 18 And you
- 12:22shall offer with the bread 7 lambs without blemish of the
- 12:25first year, and one young bull and two Rams.
- 12:28They shall be for a burnt offering unto the Lord, the meat
- 12:32offering and the drink offerings, even an offering made
- 12:35by fire, which is a sweet savour unto the Lord.
- 12:38Praise God for the prayers of the Saints, which are a sweet
- 12:41aroma unto unto Father. 19 You shall sacrifice one kid of the
- 12:46goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for
- 12:50a sacrifice of the peace offering.
- 12:52So the Jews, they understood God in relation to all of these
- 12:56animal sacrifices. And in the Millennium, friends,
- 13:00there will be animal sacrifices for a memorial that points back
- 13:06to the Lord Jesus Christ. 21 And you shall proclaim on the self
- 13:10same day, that it may be a holy convocation unto you.
- 13:14You shall do no servile work therein.
- 13:17It shall be a statue forever in your dwellings throughout your
- 13:20generations. 22 And when you reap the harvest of your land,
- 13:24you shall not make clean riddance of the corners of your
- 13:27field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of
- 13:30the harvest. You shall leave them for the
- 13:32poor and the stranger. I am the Lord your God.
- 13:35God is the one who gets to tell us how we are to behave.
- 13:39We don't get to call God into the courtroom and ask him what
- 13:42he's doing. Look at how he's taking care of
- 13:44the poor and the needy in the land, and he tells them not to
- 13:47be greedy, Friends. 23 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
- 13:5424 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh
- 13:57month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath,
- 14:01a memorial of blowing the trumpets, a holy convocation.
- 14:05This is Speaking of the rapture of the church.
- 14:07Friends, He is prefiguring types and shadows of Rash Hashanah
- 14:12whenever they would blow the trumpets.
- 14:14And this was to signify the church going up and out.
- 14:18What an amazing God we serve. 25 You shall do no serve all work
- 14:24therein, but you shall offering made by fire unto the Lord. 26
- 14:29And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, that on the 10th day of
- 14:32the 7th month there shall be a day of an atonement.
- 14:36It shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict
- 14:39your souls, an offer, an offering made by fire unto the
- 14:45Lord. This is Speaking of whenever the
- 14:47Jews finally see that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, that they
- 14:52murdered their Messiah, and that they have put the Antichrist on
- 14:58the throne and that he is demanding to be worshipped as
- 15:03God. And their scales finally fall
- 15:05off their eyes and they could see that Jesus is Lord and This
- 15:10is why they are afflicted during this time.
- 15:14This is all prefigured to types and shadows all the way back
- 15:17here whenever he's telling them of the Day of Atonement. 28 and
- 15:22you shall do no work in the same day, for it is a day of
- 15:25atonement to make an atonement for you before the Lord your
- 15:29God. This is whenever the Jews
- 15:31finally become act one with God and you can see that the four
- 15:36festivals happened in the springtime and then there was
- 15:40the summertime and that's where we're at today, friends.
- 15:44But we're heading into the fall. We're heading into the trumpet.
- 15:48We're heading into the Day of Atonement when the Jews finally
- 15:52come in to the fold. 29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall
- 15:58not be afflicted, in that same day, he shall be cut off from
- 16:02among his people. If they refuse to admit that
- 16:05Jesus Christ is Lord, they have no life.
- 16:07There's no salvation for them. 31 You shall do no manner of
- 16:11work. It shall be a statute forever
- 16:14throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 32 It shall
- 16:19be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls
- 16:23in the ninth day of the month, at evening unto evening, unto
- 16:26evening shall you celebrate your Sabbath.
- 16:29So this is when the Jews finally see Jesus. 33 And the Lord spoke
- 16:35unto Moses, sang, 34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
- 16:41The 15th day of this 7th month shall be the feast of
- 16:46Tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.
- 16:48So here he's talking about the Millennium, friends.
- 16:52Whenever all the nations will gather into Israel, into
- 16:56Jerusalem, the nations flow in during the Millennium, friends,
- 17:01that Jerusalem will be the hot spot of the world.
- 17:04It'll be the vacation destination of the entire world
- 17:07of people will be coming in to learn of the Jewish religion.
- 17:11Friends, what an amazing thought.
- 17:13We are just the unnatural wild branches grafted into the
- 17:16natural root. Friends, that is what you need
- 17:20to understand. And in the Millennium, for 1000
- 17:23years, the nations are going to flow into Jerusalem and they
- 17:28will celebrate the festival of Booths Saku.
- 17:33And you need to know that if you want to Fact Check, go to
- 17:37Zechariah chapter 15 and read verses 15 through 19, Zechariah
- 17:4314, verses 15 through 19, friends.
- 17:47And that is where you will find that we will be celebrating this
- 17:53festival of Booths as Gentiles, as the nations, coming in an
- 17:58amazing God that we serve. 36 Seven days shall you offer an
- 18:04offering made by fire unto the Lord.
- 18:06And on the 8th day shall be a holy convocation unto you, and
- 18:10you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
- 18:13It is a solemn assembly, and you shall do no Sir, of all work
- 18:17therein. 37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which you shall
- 18:20proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an
- 18:24offering made by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering and a
- 18:27meat offering, a sacrifice and a drink offering, everything upon
- 18:32its day. 38 Beside the Sabbath of the Lord, and besides your
- 18:37gifts, and besides your vows, and besides your free will
- 18:41offerings, which you give unto the Lord.
- 18:43So those were to be done throughout the year.
- 18:46But there were seven times that they were to celebrate these
- 18:50festivals, these holy convocations, these gatherings.
- 18:5739 Also in the 15th day of the 7th month, when you have
- 19:00gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast
- 19:03unto the Lord. 7 days. On the first day shall be a
- 19:06Sabbath, and on the 8th day shall be a 7th. 40 And you shall
- 19:10take you on the first day the bows of goodly trees, branches
- 19:16of palm trees, the bows of thick trees, and willows of the brook.
- 19:21And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God.
- 19:24Seven days. 41 And you shall keep it a feast unto the Lord, 7
- 19:30days in the year. It should be a statute forever
- 19:33in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the
- 19:367th day. 42 You shall dwell in booths. 7 days.
- 19:40All the Israelites born shall dwell in booths.
- 19:43So this is Speaking of the Millennium, whenever the nations
- 19:47will come in, and they will actually celebrate this festival
- 19:52of booths, which is a memorial of the time when the Jews came
- 19:56out of Egypt and they dwelled in the wilderness and lived in
- 20:00these tabernacles. They lived in these booths made
- 20:04from the trees and the leaves. And we will celebrate that. 43
- 20:16that your generations may know that I made the children of
- 20:21Israel to dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of
- 20:24Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
- 20:27We'll end on 44. And Moses declared unto the
- 20:30children of Israel the feast of the Lord.
- 20:33Can you see it, friends? I pray that you can.
- 20:35Four in the spring, 3 in the fall, and then a summertime in
- 20:39between. The four that are in the spring
- 20:42speak of Jesus's first coming, when he came as a lamb.
- 20:47And he was slaughtered, friends, And he was silent before the
- 20:51shears, and he was meek. And then there is this time that
- 20:55we're in the harvest time, friends.
- 20:56This is the summertime. This is when we are to bring in
- 21:00all of the fruit. This is whenever we are to go
- 21:03out into the harvest where he's at.
- 21:05And then can you see the last three, friends, where we see the
- 21:09trumpet being blown in the rapture of the church, where we
- 21:12see the Jews coming on the Day of Atonement and seeing that
- 21:16Jesus Christ is Messiah? And can you see the booths all
- 21:20the way in the Millennium, friends?
- 21:21He's coming back roaring like a lion, friends.
- 21:24He's the lion of Judah and he's coming back strong.
- 21:28He's not coming back weak, friends, praise God, Hallelujah
- 21:32for our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that you anticipate his
- 21:36arrival. You speed the day, friends, and
- 21:39love his second coming. I know that I do.
- 21:43I've had my oil filled in, my Wick trimmed, friends, full of
- 21:50the Holy Spirit being fueled from the lamps that never go
- 21:56out. Friends, there is this perpetual
- 22:00state of oil that's being poured out, and I pray that over you
- 22:03today. I pray that you're full of the
- 22:06Holy Ghost. Get into the word, read the
- 22:10word, share the word, speak the word, friends.
- 22:14Live it. Live it out every day of your
- 22:17life for the rest of your life. Be saturated in the word of God.
- 22:21I'm glad you're on this journey with me.
- 22:24I'm glad that you're still here and locked in.
- 22:28I love you. I'm praying for you.
- 22:30We'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 22:32God bless you.
