- 0:24Well, hey guys, it is John C. Morley here,
- 0:28Serial Entrepreneur.
- 0:30It is so great to be with all
- 0:33of you here today, yes.
- 0:36Can you believe that this is Thursday?
- 0:39I can hardly believe that today is Thursday.
- 0:45This has been amazing.
- 0:46We are in our fifth year, we've been
- 0:49on the air already, guys, well, well over
- 0:52four years and going very, very strong.
- 0:55So I'm grateful to all of you, if
- 0:57this is your very first time joining me,
- 0:59I want to say welcome.
- 1:01And of course, I want to say thank
- 1:02you for joining me.
- 1:03If you've been here many times before, we'll
- 1:05definitely want to say thank you and welcome
- 1:07back.
- 1:08It was great to have people that enjoy
- 1:11the quality and content of the show that
- 1:14I produce.
- 1:15I really do appreciate every single one of
- 1:17you and for making this great, because without
- 1:20you guys, I couldn't do it.
- 1:22I could not do it without you guys.
- 1:24So really, really very grateful.
- 1:29All right, so without any further ado, I
- 1:31want to kick this off, but I do
- 1:32want to let you know that if you
- 1:33are, for whatever reason, let's say you are,
- 1:36I don't know, let's say you're hungry or
- 1:39maybe you're thirsty or something like that.
- 1:42Feel free to grab something and come on
- 1:46back to the show.

- 1:49course, for more of my amazing, inspiring creations
- 1:52which are available 24 hours a day.
- 1:54A little heads up for you guys, I
- 1:56know some of you have been following my
- 1:57book.
- 1:58Again, I'm not sharing what's in the book
- 2:00just yet.
- 2:02I want that to be a surprise.
- 2:04But I do want to let you know
- 2:05that I have just completed writing my sixth
- 2:09chapter and I'll be starting my seventh probably
- 2:12tomorrow.
- 2:13And every chapter has what I call a
- 2:16pause and reflect, where I ask usually anywhere
- 2:18from two to four questions and there's an
- 2:20optional activity.
- 2:21So it's really going to be a great
- 2:22book.
- 2:23I'm excited about it.
- 2:23It's coming up probably late May or early
- 2:26June and you are not going to want
- 2:29to miss it.
- 2:29It tells some priceless lessons of my life
- 2:32and how I've changed and how it really
- 2:34helped me to make some positive growth in
- 2:36my life.
- 2:37So ladies and gentlemen, again, thank you so
- 2:39much for joining me.
- 2:41Let's go ahead and kick this show off
- 2:43right now.
- 2:44You're tuned in case you didn't know to
- 2:45Inspirations for Your Life.
- 2:48Yeah.
- 2:48Yeah.
- 2:49So welcome everyone to Inspirations for Your Life.
- 2:51I'm John Worley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist,
- 2:55video producer, podcast host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate
- 2:59student and a passionate lifelong learner.
- 3:01And pretty soon guys, yes, a published author.
- 3:04So yeah, it is great to be here
- 3:07with all of you on this wonderful show.
- 3:11So again, I say thank you.
- 3:14Today's episode is titled Alignment.
- 3:17Yeah, it's titled Alignment.
- 3:19And I think the important thing about that
- 3:22is it's between, you know, it's between the
- 3:25words and the actions.
- 3:27And in this particular episode, we're going to
- 3:30go into how ensuring your words match your
- 3:32actions because it creates credibility, trust and unstoppable
- 3:36momentum.
- 3:36And that's what we all want here, don't
- 3:37we?
- 3:38Alignment between what you say and what you
- 3:40do is a foundation for confidence, clarity and
- 3:44intentional living.
- 3:45So let's kick this off, everyone.
- 3:46Are you ready?
- 3:47I know you are.
- 3:48Section one.
- 3:49I kind of break these down to different
- 3:50sections and then I put points in the
- 3:52sections.
- 3:53It's about credibility and trust.
- 3:55So alignment creates, ladies and gentlemen, it creates
- 3:58credibility and yeah, trust forms.
- 4:03And it grows when words match the actions.
- 4:06I know a lot of people that do
- 4:08something and then their words don't match the
- 4:11actions and then it kind of, it doesn't
- 4:13really help their reputation.
- 4:15Actually kind of kicks it in the bud.
- 4:18So number two, words matter less than the
- 4:21follow through.
- 4:22Don't worry about having the exact right words.
- 4:25Worry about the fact when you tell somebody
- 4:27you're going to do something that you're going
- 4:28to follow through, that people can count on
- 4:30you.
- 4:30So words matter less than the follow through.
- 4:33Results speak louder, you know, and that's important
- 4:37to understand than the promises.
- 4:39So if you've done something for somebody and
- 4:41you made a promise, the results is what
- 4:44matters.
- 4:44And the fact that you've made the choice
- 4:46to help these people, that you follow through,
- 4:48you're like, oh, you know, I want to
- 4:49watch TV tonight or I want to go
- 4:51out with some friends.
- 4:51No, you've decided to be committed.
- 4:56And that's something that is priceless in this
- 4:59world.
- 4:59Number three, guys, consistency builds trust.
- 5:03Repeat actions reinforce reliability.
- 5:05And number four, alignment reduces stress.
- 5:09What you say matches what you do internally.
- 5:11And of course, externally.
- 5:14You know, I don't know if you know
- 5:15that, but that's a key trait for a
- 5:17lot of people.
- 5:19And they don't understand why they don't align
- 5:21sometimes.
- 5:22Number five, actions confirm values.
- 5:25Your behavior reflects, guys, your priorities every single
- 5:28day.
- 5:29And I think that's another thing that a
- 5:30lot of people just don't get in life,
- 5:31that your priorities are key and how it
- 5:35shows up in the world.
- 5:36Number six, integrity shows in behavior.
- 5:39People notice when actions align with principles.
- 5:42If you're doing something to put on a
- 5:44show, and I don't mean a podcast show,
- 5:46or I mean a show in public, and
- 5:50you really don't have that kind of life,
- 5:54and, you know, you're not really concerned about
- 5:56helping people, or you're not really concerned about
- 5:59what you're saying, you're going to fall flat.
- 6:02And people are going to see right through
- 6:04you, I'm just going to be honest.
- 6:05Number seven, guys, alignment simplifies communication.
- 6:08Clarity prevents misunderstanding.
- 6:10And I think that's another big one for
- 6:11a lot of us to understand.
- 6:13Consistency strengthens identity.
- 6:15Repeat actions shape who you are.
- 6:17I think that's a really, really big one.
- 6:20Action validates intention.
- 6:22Doing proves your commitments are real.
- 6:25Alignment builds confidence.
- 6:27Knowing your words and your actions match, empowers
- 6:30self-belief.
- 6:32And that's a real important one.
- 6:34Part two is about momentum and influence, guys.
- 6:37Behavior reveals priorities.
- 6:39Actions show what truly matters to you.
- 6:43Consistency, number 12, creates momentum.
- 6:46Yes, it does.
- 6:47It creates momentum, small repeat actions, compound in
- 6:50progress.
- 6:51You might not think that one little thing
- 6:53is going to make a difference, but I
- 6:54want to tell you something, it will make
- 6:56a difference.
- 6:56Because you see, what people don't see about
- 6:59you, okay, actually shows up when they see
- 7:03you.
- 7:04Let me explain that.
- 7:04So if you're being a certain way in
- 7:08your private life and you have that kind
- 7:11of attitude, right, you have that kind of
- 7:15dedication, that commitment, that shows up in the
- 7:18public world.
- 7:20Yeah, that's important to know.
- 7:21So consistency creates momentum, small repeat actions compound
- 7:26in progress, very similar to the way you'd
- 7:28compound money in a bank account, right?
- 7:31It might not happen to be a big
- 7:35amount of money in a few days, but
- 7:36when you forget about it and you look
- 7:38back, it's like, oh my gosh, look at
- 7:39what's happening.
- 7:40That's pretty cool.
- 7:41So when we think about the fact that
- 7:44our actions, the tiny actions we take, but
- 7:48even if they're small, as long as they're
- 7:50consistent and they are from the heart, they
- 7:54are from our core, we're going to go
- 7:57somewhere.
- 7:58We're definitely going to be successful.
- 7:59Number 13, alignment reduces friction, internal and external
- 8:04consistency, minimize conflict.
- 8:09Wow, that's a lot.
- 8:12So conflict shows up when we can't get
- 8:18where we want to go.
- 8:19Conflict happens because maybe we get demotivated.
- 8:23Maybe somebody says something to us.
- 8:26I had some of the other day.
- 8:29My content is very viral, as a lot
- 8:31of you guys know.
- 8:32And I got a comment from somebody in
- 8:34one of the chats, tell me, oh, your
- 8:35content is terrible.
- 8:38I let that roll and didn't say anything.
- 8:42Like one person that I shouldn't post.
- 8:45And I got like 689 people just responding
- 8:50back.
- 8:51You don't know what you're talking about.
- 8:52His content is great.
- 8:53And so sometimes it's important to be silent
- 8:56because when you're silent, you're not trying to
- 8:59get anything.
- 8:59And I wasn't trying to win anything here.
- 9:02Not the fact that I was also a
- 9:04top, I was given a badge of top,
- 9:08what do you want to call it?
- 9:09I think it's top creator, top poster in
- 9:11the group.
- 9:12They have like, they have like rising, they
- 9:14have like a world, I had world, world
- 9:16was the one I got, which is the
- 9:17really high one.
- 9:18And I just thought it was interesting.
- 9:20So a lot of people will rain on
- 9:21your parade.
- 9:22You know why?
- 9:23Because they get jealous when you are starting
- 9:25to get action.
- 9:26When you're starting to get traction, people think
- 9:30that it's okay for them to just knock
- 9:32on your parade and try to make you
- 9:36quit.
- 9:38But you're too smart for that.
- 9:40And when you show up with your true
- 9:43authentic self, other people will be there to
- 9:45support you.
- 9:46Don't you worry.
- 9:47Number 14, actions builds belief.
- 9:52Doing reinforces your values in your mind and
- 9:55others' perception.
- 9:57And I think that's a very important thing
- 9:59to understand that.
- 10:02Follow through guys, number 15, creates respect, reliability,
- 10:06it earns admiration, and it earns trust.
- 10:10And I think a lot of people don't
- 10:11understand what trust is, but trust is basically,
- 10:15let's think of it as the signal that
- 10:20tells people you're okay to work with, you're
- 10:23okay to be with.
- 10:25I don't wanna use the word normal, because
- 10:26nobody's normal.
- 10:28But it lets people know that you give
- 10:31a darn, and that you're a pretty humane
- 10:35person, right?
- 10:37Number 16, guys, alignment builds reliability.
- 10:41Consistency and follow through are predictable.
- 10:46So when somebody's consistent, somebody follows through, you
- 10:50have a very low chance that there's gonna
- 10:55be a problem.
- 10:57In other words, you've mitigated the fact that
- 10:59there's gonna be practically no risk.
- 11:02Maybe a 0.1% risk, okay?
- 11:05Number 17, guys, consistency stabilizes progress.
- 11:10And repeated aligned actions sustain momentum.
- 11:15Repeated actions, not just one action.
- 11:20Number 18, actions clarify direction.
- 11:24What you do shows the path forward clearly
- 11:27every single day of your life, every single
- 11:30day, not just one day.
- 11:32And that's an important thing to understand.
- 11:34Number 19, alignment improves execution.
- 11:38Matching words with deeds streamlines results.
- 11:41Matching your words with your deeds.
- 11:43So if you say, hey, you're great, or
- 11:45you give somebody a compliment, but then you
- 11:48actually badmouth them, or you suddenly don't help
- 11:57them anymore, that's a double-edged sword.
- 12:03And what happens is you think you're trying
- 12:07to, let's say, get over on them, but
- 12:12what you're really doing, you're hurting yourself, guys.
- 12:16You see, when you hurt others, you hurt
- 12:18yourself.
- 12:20It's like a boomerang.
- 12:21We've talked about this, well, over four years
- 12:22ago, we talked about this.
- 12:24Whatever you do, you send it out to
- 12:28the universe, and it comes right back to
- 12:29you.
- 12:29If you send out good, then good comes
- 12:31back to you.
- 12:32So I want you to understand that alignment
- 12:33improves execution, matching words with the deeds, because
- 12:37what you put out, I promise you, will
- 12:40come back tenfold.
- 12:43Number 20, guys, behavior shapes reputation.
- 12:49Others see your character through, well, your actions.
- 12:54They see it through your actions.
- 12:56And I think that's an important piece, when
- 12:59people can know that your reputation is being
- 13:06shaped by the behavior for which you elicit.
- 13:11You might say, gee, John, what is it
- 13:13one time if I behave rudely or wrongly?
- 13:16Well, it's that habit.
- 13:20And so let me give you an example.
- 13:22How many of you out there drive?
- 13:23Okay, how many of you out there wear
- 13:25a seatbelt?
- 13:26Okay, now, I want to ask you something.
- 13:30Those that don't wear a seatbelt, why don't
- 13:33you?
- 13:34Is it because, well, you're lazy?
- 13:37Is it because, well, you want to go
- 13:39through that extra, I don't know, entire three
- 13:42or five seconds to put a belt on?
- 13:45You feel that you drive really well and
- 13:48nothing's ever going to happen to you.
- 13:49Maybe you do.
- 13:50I drive well, too, but it's still important
- 13:52to protect yourself.
- 13:54And I think a lot of people don't
- 13:57realize what that means.
- 13:59So you get in the car or your
- 14:01truck or your van or whatever, and you
- 14:02don't put the belt on.
- 14:03And then you just keep driving.
- 14:06Now, it becomes a habit.
- 14:11And I can tell you what got me
- 14:14into always wanting to wear the seatbelt, because
- 14:16when I first started driving years ago, seatbelt
- 14:18was not, like, paramount on my list.
- 14:21But a relative of my family got hurt,
- 14:23and they almost lost their life because they
- 14:26weren't wearing their seatbelt.
- 14:29That rang a lot of bells in my
- 14:31head and said, wait a minute, John, you
- 14:33need to take five seconds out or 10
- 14:36seconds, whatever it is, and put the darn
- 14:38belt on, okay, before you get in the
- 14:41car.
- 14:41Now, sometimes I get in the car, and
- 14:43if I'm backing up at the park, I'm
- 14:44like, oh, my gosh, I'm backing up, I
- 14:46got to quick put my belt on.
- 14:47But I realize it, and I correct it.
- 14:52A lot of people just don't wear their
- 14:53belt because they've gotten into the bad habit
- 14:56of not wanting to wear a seatbelt.
- 14:58And thus, that behavior stays with them time
- 15:01and time again.
- 15:03So behavior shapes the reputation, and others will
- 15:06see you through the character of the actions
- 15:08for which you elicit.
- 15:10And the actions you're for today are actually
- 15:15coming because of the thoughts that you put
- 15:18yesterday and the days before.
- 15:20You might say, John, oh, I don't have
- 15:22to prove anything.
- 15:23I'm not telling you to prove anything to
- 15:25somebody.
- 15:25I'm saying you're showing yourself disrespect.
- 15:33You're saying to me, hey, John, I don't
- 15:35have enough value that I need to put
- 15:38a seatbelt on.
- 15:39Like, my life's not that valuable.
- 15:42And I want to ask you, why?
- 15:46Have you not taken time to be grateful
- 15:48for at least two or three things?
- 15:49I'm sure there's things in your life that
- 15:51you're grateful for.
- 15:52But think about you not putting a seatbelt
- 15:56on.
- 15:57And now think about the fact that because
- 15:59you didn't put a seatbelt on, you may
- 16:01not be able to ever see those people
- 16:04again.
- 16:07Just saying.
- 16:08I hope that never happens to anybody.
- 16:09But why do we want to get into
- 16:12that predicament?
- 16:14Seatbelts save lives.
- 16:15So put your darn seatbelt on, OK?
- 16:18Number 21, guys, consistency compounds trust.
- 16:23People rely on repeated aligned behavior.
- 16:26When something comes in and it's repeated, it
- 16:29becomes trusted, OK?
- 16:31It's relied upon.
- 16:32It's like the old golden standard, right?
- 16:36Why do people always, let's say, think back
- 16:40to a lot of, let's say, neighbors that
- 16:44have been here from years to come, from
- 16:46many years ago?
- 16:47It's because they know that they did things
- 16:50the old fashioned way, which was not the
- 16:52hustle and bustle, which was, you know, we
- 16:55can shake a hand to do a deal.
- 16:57Today, how many times do you do a
- 17:00deal and shake a hand?
- 17:01I know myself, not that many.
- 17:03There's a few.
- 17:04But not that many.
- 17:05Everything's got to be ink dotted and signed
- 17:07or e-signed.
- 17:09People are too in a rush.
- 17:11People are concerned about the dollar, which, again,
- 17:15is not bad.
- 17:16But we have to first realize the value
- 17:19we put forth to get the dollar.
- 17:22And do it with integrity.
- 17:26Number 22, guys, alignment builds authority.
- 17:30Steady principles demonstrate leadership.
- 17:33Yeah, steady principles.
- 17:35Not the ones you just do today or
- 17:37do tomorrow.
- 17:38I'm talking about being steady.
- 17:40What are some leadership principles?
- 17:43Listening.
- 17:45Listening.
- 17:46How about giving support for your peers or
- 17:51colleagues or employees?
- 17:54Giving support, letting them know that their voice
- 17:57is welcome, regardless of their job title.
- 18:02You don't hear that in too many companies.
- 18:05Number 23, action, guys, reinforces identity.
- 18:09Doing what you say strengthens self-definition.
- 18:12Doing what you say.
- 18:14I'm going to give you guys an example.
- 18:15So you guys know I'm writing a book.
- 18:18And so for a while, I wanted to
- 18:20write another book.
- 18:22But then something hit me.
- 18:23And I said, you know what?
- 18:24I can write that book later.
- 18:26But there's a reason I'm not writing that
- 18:28first book.
- 18:29Not because it's harder, but because I need
- 18:32to get the story out that I need
- 18:34to share with the world first.
- 18:35Then I can share other stories.
- 18:39And that was a lesson that I guess
- 18:40I didn't want to learn.
- 18:41I figured, well, if I can't write this
- 18:43book, I don't want to write any book.
- 18:44And I said, you know what?
- 18:44All right, universe, you want me to write
- 18:46that other book?
- 18:47I'm going to write that other book.
- 18:48And I'll tell you something.
- 18:49I'm even learning more about myself and becoming
- 18:53more grateful.
- 18:54So I think you're going to really like
- 18:55the book anyway.
- 18:56So actions reinforce identity.
- 18:58And doing what you say strengthens self-definition.
- 19:01Not just with your friends.
- 19:03Not just with your personal relationships.
- 19:05But even strangers.
- 19:07You know, you might be at a supermarket,
- 19:12okay?
- 19:13And you're asking somebody to give you two
- 19:16minutes or to hold something for you.
- 19:17Or you'll be right back.
- 19:19If you do what you say, not only
- 19:22are they going to be happy, but now
- 19:24they're more inclined to probably want to do
- 19:27something for someone else.
- 19:28If you didn't live up to what you
- 19:30said, that might close the door for someone
- 19:33else that might need the help.
- 19:35Number 24.
- 19:36Alignment removes doubt.
- 19:39Matching actions and words build certainty.
- 19:42Internally, guys, and externally.
- 19:45That's the key, guys.
- 19:46Internally and externally.
- 19:48And remember what I said.
- 19:49Nothing comes on the outside.
- 19:52That first hasn't been built on the inside.
- 19:55See, people think that our lives are created
- 19:58by the outside world.
- 20:00No.
- 20:02It's created by our core values, by our
- 20:05inside world.
- 20:07And those things percolate out to the outside
- 20:10world.
- 20:12It doesn't always show up immediately.
- 20:14But you'll notice if you observe and you
- 20:17pay attention, maybe journal it, you're like, oh,
- 20:20wait a minute.
- 20:21I see what John's saying.
- 20:22I never realized that before.
- 20:25OK.
- 20:26Number 25.
- 20:28Consistency builds strength.
- 20:30Repeat actions reinforce resilience.
- 20:34So not even just talking now about being
- 20:37somebody people trust, but resilience in the fact
- 20:41that you have the fortitude, you have the
- 20:43action, the stamina to be able to keep
- 20:46going on.
- 20:47I think that's an amazing thing.
- 20:49And people always ask me, John, how do
- 20:51you get all this stuff done?
- 20:53And I'll tell you one thing.
- 20:54I'm very grateful for God and for the
- 20:59Lord and for letting carry out my message
- 21:04with today being the second day of Lent.
- 21:08Again, not to make this a religious show,
- 21:10but I am very grateful.
- 21:12And I want to tell you, so it's
- 21:1340 days and 40 nights.
- 21:14So yesterday, which was Wednesday, I went to
- 21:17church very early in the morning, got ashes.
- 21:20It was like 730 mass.
- 21:21I think we were out of there by
- 21:21a little bit after 8, not even.
- 21:23And then I was also serving as Eucharistic
- 21:25minister.
- 21:25And I can tell you that if you
- 21:30just do this as an action to impress
- 21:34others, well, you're really hurting yourself.
- 21:41If you do it and say, gee, I'm
- 21:43doing this because I want to do it.
- 21:45I believe in the Lord.
- 21:46I believe in God.
- 21:47Then you've got a different story going on
- 21:50there.
- 21:51There was another thing I want to share,
- 21:53which was a reading father said.
- 21:55And it was a very interesting reading.
- 21:56And you probably heard something like this before.
- 21:58And he said, when you're giving alms, do
- 22:04it in secret.
- 22:05What your father sees and knows about in
- 22:08secret, he will repay in public.
- 22:12That's a pretty priceless thing, guys.
- 22:16Number 26, behavior confirms self-respect.
- 22:20Living your values earns internal validation.
- 22:23But don't think this is going to happen
- 22:25at the snap or the drop of a
- 22:28hat.
- 22:28It won't.
- 22:30It's going to take you getting on board
- 22:33with who you are and then noticing how
- 22:37those things show up in the world.
- 22:40Because I'll be honest, the first time I
- 22:42tried, it was like, oh boy, this is
- 22:45going to be a rough road.
- 22:46Because people were trying to get me to
- 22:48go back in my old way.
- 22:50They were trying to get me in a
- 22:52state where they could manipulate me.
- 22:54And I'm like, no, that's not happening.
- 22:58That's important.
- 22:59Number 27, alignment creates flow consistency between thought,
- 23:04word, and action.
- 23:05It produces smooth results, guys, smooth results.
- 23:09Not just results like one time.
- 23:13It becomes a continuum that we can be
- 23:15grateful for.
- 23:16Number 28, action strengthens integrity.
- 23:20Following through ensures personal authenticity.
- 23:24Now, we've heard before on the internet like
- 23:27crypto and we've heard about other things like
- 23:30non-fungible tokens and things like that.
- 23:34And the whole thing about being authentic.
- 23:37Is authentic about something that's more money?
- 23:39Well, I'm not going to talk about money
- 23:40for a minute.
- 23:41I want to talk about value.
- 23:43And each and every one of you has
- 23:45a value.
- 23:46Whether you're trying to get money for it,
- 23:48whether you're just trying to get respect.
- 23:50When you start to appreciate and know what
- 23:52your value is, do you know what happens?
- 23:54People around you are like, oh, wait a
- 23:56minute.
- 23:57This is something that I actually get.
- 24:00That's important, guys, really important, all right.
- 24:04Number 29, guys, number 29.
- 24:10And that is consistency.
- 24:15Consistency creates calm, predictable, aligned actions.
- 24:19And they reduce internal conflict.
- 24:23Now, when things are calm, you might think
- 24:25that you don't have power.
- 24:27You're not a dictator.
- 24:28You don't need to be a dictator.
- 24:30You could be a quiet leader, okay.
- 24:33Who has a big stick, but never uses
- 24:36it.
- 24:37People have developed a respect for you.
- 24:40They know that when they, let's say, hang
- 24:44you out to dry or they talk against
- 24:48you, well, you're going to call them out
- 24:51politely on the carpet.
- 24:53Maybe not in front of the whole group,
- 24:55but you're going to call them out and
- 24:56you're going to make them either, A, make
- 25:00sure that doesn't happen again, or you're going
- 25:02to say, I think we're done.
- 25:04I mean, I think that's a problem.
- 25:05But a lot of people don't like to
- 25:06hear the word, we're done, or it's over,
- 25:09right?
- 25:11When you say the words, it's over, 99
- 25:14% of the time, there's no going back.
- 25:17And people that think they can manipulate you,
- 25:20and they can, you haven't shown a value
- 25:24and you haven't shown enough respect for who
- 25:26you are.
- 25:26Don't let other people manipulate you, okay.
- 25:31Oh, I'll do it tomorrow.
- 25:33No, don't allow that crap.
- 25:35Please don't.
- 25:36You're worth more than that.
- 25:38Number 30, alignment builds momentum and the combination
- 25:41of words and actions propel results forward.
- 25:47That's powerful.
- 25:50So we're talking about a lot here tonight.
- 25:53Alignment, core values, your value as a person.
- 25:58And I'm not just saying what you're worth
- 26:00per hour or your net worth, I'm not
- 26:02talking about that.
- 26:02I'm talking about your value as a person.
- 26:06And when somebody exploits your value as a
- 26:09person, do you know what happens?
- 26:11You've got to politely call them on the
- 26:12carpet about that.
- 26:15And if they did it accidentally, it's one
- 26:17thing.
- 26:18And they'll probably apologize.
- 26:19But if they keep doing, you're like, hey,
- 26:21you remember what I just, we had that
- 26:22conversation.
- 26:23Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:24And then they don't do anything.
- 26:26Okay, well, I don't wanna work with you
- 26:27anymore.
- 26:28Or this isn't working out, or I'm not
- 26:30getting the respect.
- 26:30Well, wait a minute, I promise, okay.
- 26:32I'm gonna give you one more shot, okay.
- 26:35You can apologize, but if you do it
- 26:37again, we're done.
- 26:39And what I mean by done, let's make
- 26:41sure you understand what the rules are.
- 26:43Because if you don't wanna see what the
- 26:43rules are, then you have no chance of
- 26:47even possibly staying and hanging with me.
- 26:51Number four, guys, section is closing what we're
- 26:55doing tonight.
- 26:55And it's all about thoughts and alignment between
- 26:58the words and the actions.
- 27:00It's the cornerstone of not just the building,
- 27:03but of your credibility, of your confidence, of
- 27:05your leadership.
- 27:06And every choice to act in line with
- 27:07your stated values builds trust, clarity, and momentum.
- 27:12By living intentionally and ensuring your actions match
- 27:15your words, you strengthen your influence, you stabilize
- 27:18progress, and you create freedom in your decisions.
- 27:21Wow.
