- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice shog Loo. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Jo of Shooter. It is Friday, the
- 0:19Speaker 1: end of another I hope a fabulous week. If it wasn't,
- 0:22Speaker 1: don't worry. We're going to distract you for the next
- 0:24Speaker 1: twenty minutes or so. Joining us, today's our dear friend
- 0:28Speaker 1: Corey Andrew from Instinct magazine dot com. Corey, are you there?
- 0:33Speaker 1: I am here with bells on. Hello everyone. I can
- 0:37Speaker 1: hear them jingling right now. They sound fantastic. We've got
- 0:41Speaker 1: a ton of energy and a ton of gossip today,
- 0:43Speaker 1: so let's jump right Hey, my friends, what time is it?
- 0:47Speaker 1: It is time so. Bethany Frankel from the Real Housewives
- 0:53Speaker 1: has a theory about Pete Davidson. Pete has recently been
- 0:58Speaker 1: sparted with Kim Kardashia. He's had a lot of beautiful,
- 1:02Speaker 1: beautiful people on his arm in the past, including being
- 1:07Speaker 1: engaged to Ariana Grande. Well me has a theory. It's
- 1:13Speaker 1: actually an old theory, but it's really haashed right now
- 1:16Speaker 1: because of Kim. She said the following quote. Years later,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I still maintain that Pete Davidson shoots diamonds out of
- 1:26Speaker 1: his penis. Theory here about Pete. It's so so wild
- 1:36Speaker 1: and it got me thinking about it because so many
- 1:38Speaker 1: people are talking about this today. Is it about peace
- 1:43Speaker 1: and sex or is it about something else? I would
- 1:45Speaker 1: argue it's really obvious, Bethany, I get what you're doing.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You're so controversial, so interesting. But it's not that it's
- 1:53Speaker 1: that he is funny. He's a funny guy, and it's
- 1:57Speaker 1: a quality that we don't really sort of think about
- 2:02Speaker 1: when we look for a partner. Often we think it's
- 2:05Speaker 1: about sex. We always do. We think it's about attraction,
- 2:08Speaker 1: and I've got to admit that isn't always the case,
- 2:11Speaker 1: particularly in Britain. Obviously, I'm a British guy. I grew
- 2:15Speaker 1: up in Britain. In Britain, I've got to admit, comedy
- 2:19Speaker 1: and somebody that makes you laugh is a quality you
- 2:22Speaker 1: look for in a partner that might be even higher
- 2:25Speaker 1: up than your looks. And so I think, Bethany, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: get what you're doing. It it's really really funny, ironically,
- 2:31Speaker 1: because I think it's actually the fact that Pete is
- 2:35Speaker 1: so funny rather than anything he's doing sexually. What do
- 2:39Speaker 1: you think about this, Corey, I happen to love Bethany's
- 2:43Speaker 1: theory and um, and I love jewelry, so I'll leave
- 2:46Speaker 1: it at that. But I think that actually, but I
- 2:48Speaker 1: think that, you know, being funny is probably a better
- 2:51Speaker 1: treat because sexual attraction, it can wane, it can later
- 2:56Speaker 1: on die and then what do you have, right, So
- 2:58Speaker 1: a guy that can make you laugh for all time,
- 3:01Speaker 1: I think that's much more of a I think, much
- 3:03Speaker 1: much more of like a long lasting treat. So I
- 3:05Speaker 1: had to agree with you on that, rab I think
- 3:06Speaker 1: that might be. I was thinking about it all day
- 3:09Speaker 1: because a lot of people, particularly in my business and
- 3:12Speaker 1: the gossip business, in the news business, entertainment, celebrity business,
- 3:15Speaker 1: have been talking about Pete. I've met him a few times.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He actually lived in the same building as me for
- 3:20Speaker 1: a little while with Ariana. Grandy was wild elevator or something.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I didn't bump into them in the elevator, but I
- 3:27Speaker 1: knew they were home when twenty photographers were standing outside
- 3:31Speaker 1: the front door. I thought it was the success of
- 3:33Speaker 1: the podcast. That's yeah, it wasn't for you. It's not you,
- 3:35Speaker 1: Rob shoe to get out of the way. We're waiting
- 3:37Speaker 1: for Pete and Arianna. So I haven't met him a
- 3:40Speaker 1: few times. I know people that know him and they
- 3:42Speaker 1: say that he's charming, and they said that, Really, what
- 3:45Speaker 1: Kim probably is really enjoying about him at the moment
- 3:48Speaker 1: is he's the opposite of Kanye. He's not pretentious. He's
- 3:53Speaker 1: not a movie star, or at least he doesn't act
- 3:56Speaker 1: like a star. He lives with his mom, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 1: until quite recently he lived in his mom's basement. He's
- 4:01Speaker 1: almost the anti anti celebrity. He wears scruffy clothes, he
- 4:07Speaker 1: doesn't work out that much. He likes the smile, he
- 4:11Speaker 1: likes the laugh, he can make fun of himself. He's
- 4:14Speaker 1: in on the joke. A lot of these celebrities take
- 4:17Speaker 1: themselves really, really, really seriously, and he doesn't. In fact,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I think I could argue to that even Kim recently
- 4:25Speaker 1: has been taking herself rather seriously. A couple of nights ago,
- 4:29Speaker 1: they were at a restaurant, a private club downtown, and insiders,
- 4:33Speaker 1: eyewitnesses inside the club tell me they sat together and
- 4:37Speaker 1: she giggled. She sat there just giggling, And I think
- 4:40Speaker 1: that's a really interesting quality and something that we don't
- 4:44Speaker 1: associate with Kim. I think on S and L we
- 4:47Speaker 1: all actually got to see Kim's funny. He was a
- 4:50Speaker 1: really really funny person. We know her as that super
- 4:53Speaker 1: super polished, polished person we see on Instagram or in
- 4:57Speaker 1: ads for all the products she's selling, but in reality
- 5:00Speaker 1: see she likes to just sort of sit down and laugh.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And he was. He was wearing jeans and a T shirt.
- 5:06Speaker 1: His hair was not brushed, his teeth were brushed, but
- 5:10Speaker 1: he sat there and was just charming. He's been really
- 5:13Speaker 1: honest about his struggles with mental health. Did you know
- 5:17Speaker 1: his father died in nine eleven? I did not know that. No,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I didn't. And then after his father passed away, he
- 5:23Speaker 1: really supported his mom, in fact, lived with her until
- 5:27Speaker 1: just a couple of years ago. Maybe, maybe maybe Pete
- 5:30Speaker 1: Davidson is the star we need, right, Maybe maybe he's
- 5:36Speaker 1: the guy doesn't have security, doesn't follow around with a
- 5:40Speaker 1: huge entourage. When I used to see him in Chelsea,
- 5:44Speaker 1: he'd be at the bank by himself. Did pop into
- 5:46Speaker 1: Botino is a little cafe bar here in the neighborhood
- 5:49Speaker 1: by himself. He's almost the anti celebrity took him. Maybe
- 5:53Speaker 1: this feels really refreshing. Just the theory, Just the theory
- 5:57Speaker 1: which brings us to our whole question of the Bethany
- 6:00Speaker 1: Frankel from the Real Housewives of New York. She thinks
- 6:04Speaker 1: that Pete Davidson's PETA's shoots diamonds. Obviously she's been funny,
- 6:09Speaker 1: but what she's basically saying is it's about sex and money.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Is she right? Is that the reason is Pete rich
- 6:18Speaker 1: and full of diamonds? Or is it funny? What do
- 6:21Speaker 1: you think? What is the attraction with Pete Davidson? Hey?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob
- 6:28Speaker 1: or our Facebook page where She's not a Gossip, and
- 6:31Speaker 1: be sure to check back on Monday to hear your results.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Corey Love, what are you working on? Yes? Well, Jazz
- 6:38Speaker 1: Jennings is humiliated by her one hundred pound weight game.
- 6:42Speaker 1: So Jenny's admitted that she's humiliated by her one hundred
- 6:45Speaker 1: pound weight gain and that she's been fat shamed by
- 6:47Speaker 1: her family. In the season seven trailer for the TLC
- 6:51Speaker 1: reality series I Am Jazz, a twenty one year transgender activists,
- 6:55Speaker 1: revealed that her eating habits changed amid her mental health struggles,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and it resulted in her weight going up to two
- 7:01Speaker 1: hundred thirty four pounds. So she says, I do experience
- 7:04Speaker 1: fat shaming from my family. It makes me feel really humiliated.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And she further explained that two years ago she had
- 7:11Speaker 1: plans to attend Harvard University, but she then deferred to
- 7:14Speaker 1: going to refocus and resenter herself following that busy year.
- 7:18Speaker 1: So she says, I was actually struggling severely with mental
- 7:21Speaker 1: health issues. I started binge eating, I gained a lot
- 7:24Speaker 1: of weight and more weight, and now almost one hundred
- 7:27Speaker 1: pounds heavier here I am today. So she admitted that
- 7:30Speaker 1: activities such as kickball and tennis were becoming more and
- 7:33Speaker 1: more difficult with the added weight, and she later described
- 7:36Speaker 1: her typical breakfast of fast food now here in is
- 7:39Speaker 1: a problem. If you're taking and having breakfast and it's
- 7:42Speaker 1: like doughnuts and maybe bagels, two babels at the time,
- 7:45Speaker 1: you know, it's a nutrition issue for many people. Jennings
- 7:48Speaker 1: said that she was hurt by her family's remarks about
- 7:50Speaker 1: her weight. Grandma Jackie, though insisted that she doesn't judge
- 7:53Speaker 1: the young TV personality for her weight gain. You know,
- 7:57Speaker 1: rob sometimes family they don't realize that they are actually
- 8:01Speaker 1: the ones doing the most harm. They think it's playful.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They think they have the entitlement to joke with you
- 8:06Speaker 1: and say certain things they would never say to a stranger.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So the story for me is about family being much
- 8:11Speaker 1: more aware and thoughtful of what they say. What do
- 8:14Speaker 1: you think, absolutely you've hit the nail on the head
- 8:17Speaker 1: Corey Again, When you're a member of a family, the
- 8:20Speaker 1: word you say have extra weight. So when somebody makes
- 8:23Speaker 1: fun of me, I don't care. I really don't. If
- 8:26Speaker 1: my mom or dad does. Are a brother and a sister,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it hurts. So whatever you say, if you're a family member,
- 8:32Speaker 1: think of it. Think of the people that have hurt
- 8:34Speaker 1: you the most, and it probably is a family member.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And it's not necessarily because they said something that somebody
- 8:39Speaker 1: else hasn't said. Is the fact that they said it,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and when they say it, it comes with an enormous
- 8:45Speaker 1: amount of power. To this day, the only person that
- 8:48Speaker 1: can really, really really hurt my feeling is a family member.
- 8:52Speaker 1: In fact, I argue that part of my success here
- 8:55Speaker 1: in New York has been that my mom and dad
- 8:58Speaker 1: don't get to see what I do, so they can't
- 9:00Speaker 1: be critical about it because they never get to see
- 9:03Speaker 1: me on TV. They get to see it, and so
- 9:07Speaker 1: if I was on TV in Britain, and my mom
- 9:08Speaker 1: was like, oh, it wasn't many interesting, or you didn't
- 9:11Speaker 1: have that good. I'd be devastating going on TV and
- 9:15Speaker 1: knowing my mommy is not going to judge me. It's
- 9:18Speaker 1: it's free, it's liberating. So as a family member where
- 9:21Speaker 1: all members of some family, we are if it's a family,
- 9:24Speaker 1: we were born into a family, we made. We all
- 9:27Speaker 1: have family. Be really really careful about what you say.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I don't have many family members here, obviously they're they're
- 9:34Speaker 1: over in Britain. But I have managed to make my
- 9:37Speaker 1: own beautiful family here. I'm really careful what I say
- 9:41Speaker 1: to friends. I'm really really careful because when I say it,
- 9:46Speaker 1: it's going to have added weight. Because I'm a friend
- 9:48Speaker 1: to just be kind to one another. We all go
- 9:51Speaker 1: through struggles. Jazz, you are such an amazing young lady.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You really really are. Goodness knows, you've already done so
- 10:00Speaker 1: much good in this world. If you can also do
- 10:04Speaker 1: some good around weight and what that feels like and
- 10:07Speaker 1: being healthy, even more power you. You're wonderful. Moving along, sir,
- 10:14Speaker 1: Megan Markel is getting blasted. Will I be in Senators
- 10:18Speaker 1: using her royal title? Megan can't win Sir, Megan has
- 10:21Speaker 1: been hitting the phone and cold calling US senators on
- 10:25Speaker 1: their private numbers, and she's been using her royal title.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So this revelation came out when Senator Shelly Moore CAPITOA
- 10:35Speaker 1: said she was driving and she got a phone call
- 10:37Speaker 1: on her cell phone from a blocked number. She answered
- 10:41Speaker 1: it and the person said the following, which I love.
- 10:44Speaker 1: This is Megan, the Duchess of Sussex. Drive off the road,
- 10:48Speaker 1: had to pull over. We have to pull over. She said.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out how she got my number, while
- 10:54Speaker 1: it turns out Susan Collins as a senator in Maine,
- 10:57Speaker 1: she gave Megan the number, which I that's my favorite
- 11:00Speaker 1: part of this gossip. And then the senator said, to
- 11:03Speaker 1: my surprise, she called me on my private line and
- 11:05Speaker 1: she introduced herself as the Duchess of Sussex, which is
- 11:10Speaker 1: kind of ironic. That's what she told Politico. And that's
- 11:14Speaker 1: tricky because I think Megan did say she was stepping
- 11:17Speaker 1: away from the family and we're not going to use
- 11:19Speaker 1: that title. Yeah, but if I only got a title
- 11:22Speaker 1: like the Duchess, I please, I call myself Rob Shooter
- 11:25Speaker 1: author now whenever I call it. Yeah, that's my title,
- 11:28Speaker 1: so I do get and Megan, you don't need to
- 11:31Speaker 1: use that title. You're so famous, Megan marcle now, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly,
- 11:37Speaker 1: so you can just be Megan. So the senator went
- 11:40Speaker 1: on to say, I was happy to talk to her,
- 11:42Speaker 1: but I'm more interested in what the people of Maine
- 11:46Speaker 1: are telling me. Oh. This is tricky because Megan is
- 11:49Speaker 1: trying to use her power, use her voice, to do
- 11:53Speaker 1: what she thinks he is good, and yet some people
- 11:56Speaker 1: are angry with her. Megan stiptoeing into politics, and that's
- 12:00Speaker 1: what's making people uncomfortable. I think, here, we don't do
- 12:03Speaker 1: politics on this show. It's an entertainment show. I do.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I get it, I get it, I get it, I
- 12:07Speaker 1: get you don't want to hear it. And that's the
- 12:09Speaker 1: whole point. It's like if I started using my voice
- 12:12Speaker 1: to talk about politics, and I'm titled to do it,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but it's going to be a very different rob And
- 12:17Speaker 1: I think that's what's happening with Megan. She's finding her
- 12:20Speaker 1: new place in the world, and I think it's going
- 12:22Speaker 1: to be more and more political. What do you think, Corey,
- 12:25Speaker 1: You know, I think it's odd though, that she would
- 12:27Speaker 1: be using that title here in America to reach out
- 12:29Speaker 1: to American politicians, like the Duchess of Sussex means like
- 12:33Speaker 1: nothing to Americans, Like I don't like that, doesn't impro
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'm like, what is that? I don't even know what
- 12:37Speaker 1: that means? Real housewife, right, the real housewife of Windsor Right.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That makes more sense to me that the Duchess of
- 12:46Speaker 1: Sussex means nothing to like people in Maine. So it's
- 12:49Speaker 1: an odd position. I think that it makes more sense
- 12:51Speaker 1: for to call, hey, this is Megan Marco. I mean
- 12:55Speaker 1: that makes more sense. Yeah, that's one of the most
- 12:57Speaker 1: famous people in the world. When Kim Kardashian calls up,
- 13:01Speaker 1: she doesn't have to say she's Kim from Keeping Up
- 13:03Speaker 1: with the Kardashian Megan. If you're listening, La la la,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I know you're trying to do good here, and I'm
- 13:08Speaker 1: not slamming you. I'm really not. Don't use the title.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Don't use it, you don't need it. I get it. Gosh.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Can you imagine growing up and one day you become
- 13:18Speaker 1: a princess, you become a I mean I would, I would,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I would hard to give up hard together. I would
- 13:24Speaker 1: love it. I would love it, but I don't think
- 13:27Speaker 1: you need it. Hey, moving along, there's some big revelations
- 13:31Speaker 1: by Will Smith in his book co one of the biggest.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, So this is a really disturbing but but
- 13:41Speaker 1: also honest story. So Will Smith reveals that he once
- 13:44Speaker 1: considered killing his dad to avenge his mother. So Will
- 13:49Speaker 1: Smith has revealed that he wants contemplated killing his father
- 13:52Speaker 1: to avengeally abuse his mother suffered during his childhood. So
- 13:56Speaker 1: there's a bit of an understandability there, at least with
- 13:59Speaker 1: this time. So. In an exclusive excerpt from his upcoming
- 14:02Speaker 1: memoir Will obtained by People, Smith discussed his complicated relationship
- 14:07Speaker 1: with his father, William Carroll Smith, Sr. He says, when
- 14:10Speaker 1: I was nine years old, I watched my father punched
- 14:12Speaker 1: my mother in the side of the head so hard
- 14:14Speaker 1: that she collapsed. I saw her spit blood, And that
- 14:17Speaker 1: moment in that bedroom, probably more than any other moment
- 14:19Speaker 1: in my life, has defined who I am, he wrote.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Within everything that I have done since then, the awards,
- 14:26Speaker 1: the accolades of spotlights, and the attention of the characters
- 14:28Speaker 1: in the Lass, there's always been a subtle string of
- 14:30Speaker 1: apologies to my mother for my inaction that day for
- 14:34Speaker 1: failing her in the moment, for failing to stand up
- 14:37Speaker 1: to my father, for being a coward. He continued with
- 14:40Speaker 1: that moment in mind. He wrote that he swore he
- 14:42Speaker 1: would avenge his mother one day, and that day almost came.
- 14:46Speaker 1: So Rob he was caring for his father, who had
- 14:48Speaker 1: cancer decades later, and he says that one night he
- 14:52Speaker 1: delicately wheeled his father from his bedroom towards the bathroom,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and a darkness arose within him, and he says, I
- 14:58Speaker 1: paused at the top of the stair, and he thought
- 15:01Speaker 1: I could shove him down and easily get away with it.
- 15:05Speaker 1: And as the decades of pain and anger, you know,
- 15:07Speaker 1: and resentment sort of flowed through him, he kind of
- 15:11Speaker 1: had a cooler head that prevailed, thank goodness, And he says,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I just continued to wheel him to the bathrooms as
- 15:18Speaker 1: planned and did not kill my father down stairs. That
- 15:22Speaker 1: is a very serious admission, and it's something that I
- 15:25Speaker 1: completely understand. Children witnessed their parents being abused a lot
- 15:29Speaker 1: in life, and it harbors resentment in them. So it's
- 15:33Speaker 1: on a story, Rob that he's telling and fault him for,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and it's it's just, really, you know, it's a big
- 15:38Speaker 1: revelation from Will. What do you think about? Yeah, I
- 15:40Speaker 1: think if we've if we're all going to be really
- 15:42Speaker 1: really honest, and this is a happy show, but if
- 15:44Speaker 1: we're all going to be really really honest, there's moments
- 15:46Speaker 1: in our life, all our lives, but we've closed our
- 15:48Speaker 1: eyes and wished somebody was not here. And we've all
- 15:52Speaker 1: done it. I've done it, I've we've we've all done
- 15:55Speaker 1: it and said for a Will to talk about this,
- 15:57Speaker 1: particularly with a family member, it's shocking also to What
- 16:01Speaker 1: I find so interesting is even after witnessing his father
- 16:06Speaker 1: do the most awful things, he was still there for
- 16:08Speaker 1: him when he had cancer. It's a very very complicated life,
- 16:11Speaker 1: isn't it. This book looks sensational. Everybody pick up a copy. Hey,
- 16:15Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break now and we'll
- 16:17Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 16:23Speaker 1: We're having lots of revelations today. Are we are? My goodness?
- 16:27Speaker 1: But really getting into it? What we find sexy and men?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Would we ever kill anybody? On? What's happened to our
- 16:32Speaker 1: little girssic show. We'll get back on tracked. Don't worry. Hey,
- 16:36Speaker 1: let's get to the polls that Pete Davidson had a
- 16:39Speaker 1: private dinner with Kim on Staten Island and then again
- 16:43Speaker 1: a couple of nights ago in New York City. Is
- 16:45Speaker 1: this real or is it fake? Let's have a look.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Six say it's fake. You think it's for the TV.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't agree. I think something's going on. I think
- 16:56Speaker 1: something's going on. I was looking to see if Kim
- 17:00Speaker 1: reality cameras with when she had the dinner. They were not.
- 17:03Speaker 1: They were not, They were not. Could be real, honey,
- 17:08Speaker 1: could be real? Were real? Don't forget to vote on
- 17:11Speaker 1: today's poll. Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice
- 17:14Speaker 1: Robber on Facebook page Naughty Gods Him and be sure
- 17:16Speaker 1: to check back a Monday to hear your results. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: now it's time for Rotten the nicest of the day. Yes, Well,
- 17:26Speaker 1: Dwayne Johnson will no longer use real guns on his
- 17:28Speaker 1: company's film sets. Following the Rust tragedy. Dwayne Johnson has
- 17:32Speaker 1: become the latest Hollywood power player to put the use
- 17:35Speaker 1: of real firearms on film and TV sets unnoticed, and
- 17:38Speaker 1: he vowed that rubber guns would be the rule going
- 17:40Speaker 1: forward for all the projects made under his seven Bucks
