- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:13Speaker 1: we are scrubbing it. It's June first.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It is June first, which means summer's officially here.
- 0:21Speaker 1: And Pride Month, Happy Pride Month. Wait, we never talked
- 0:24Speaker 1: about this, but Haley and I laughed about it, and
- 0:26Speaker 1: someone brought it up in the Scrubbing End group. But
- 0:28Speaker 1: when we did our interview with Haley and you were
- 0:31Speaker 1: asking about the release date being in June, oh yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: but you were like, it's just such a summer movie,
- 0:37Speaker 1: and we all thought you were going to lead to
- 0:38Speaker 1: and it's Pride, Like did you mean to do it
- 0:40Speaker 1: during Pride Month? And you never got like like.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Okay, that's not on me, that's on you and Haley
- 0:45Speaker 2: to be like, yeah, that's that was a Pride Month.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Well we don't you go on me.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We thought our ally, our proud ally was going to
- 0:51Speaker 1: lead to that, and it just got to summer and
- 0:53Speaker 1: we were like well yeah, but then you couldn't step
- 0:56Speaker 1: in and.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Said yes, actually it's being released on pri in Pride
- 0:58Speaker 2: Month for a reason, So I'm not taking the sword on.
- 1:01Speaker 1: That well, it could be two things.
- 1:05Speaker 2: No, no, yeah, yeah, no.
- 1:06Speaker 1: No, those things. But it was funny because everyone was like,
- 1:09Speaker 1: no one mentioned this.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Haley said, no, it was just a coincidence that it
- 1:13Speaker 2: ended up in June. So it was actually on Haley too,
- 1:15Speaker 2: because she could have also said, no, we planned it
- 1:17Speaker 2: to be on Pride Month.
- 1:19Speaker 1: She didn't, though, she was it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Was I know, I know, I know, but you were.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Saying, oh, it's in June, Like, what a coincidence, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: it's you were you were like, because it's so summer,
- 1:29Speaker 1: it's such a summer movie.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I love them. He's like, it's such a summer movie,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and Haley's like, it takes place during the summer.
- 1:37Speaker 2: But an appropriate time for Haley to mention that it
- 1:41Speaker 2: came out in June.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the conversation had started rolling, so it
- 1:45Speaker 1: was like, we don't need it's neither here nor there,
- 1:47Speaker 1: but it is exciting that it is during the summer
- 1:50Speaker 1: and during Pride Month.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'm surprised I didn't plan that well.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure there was when they were coming
- 1:56Speaker 1: up with the release day, I'm sure they're like, hey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: if June were that would be ideal. Yeah, but Haley
- 2:02Speaker 1: doesn't have control over when it's released.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Well, right, of course, but maybe somebody yeah, yeah, in the.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm sure somebody are looking out in the focus feature
- 2:10Speaker 1: universe for opportunities, right, But how are you doing?
- 2:18Speaker 2: I'm doing?
- 2:19Speaker 4: By the way, speaking of summer this year't I haven't
- 2:23Speaker 4: heard anybody else point this out. We had Memorial Day
- 2:26Speaker 4: on May twenty fifth, that's the earliest possible Memorial Day.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Labor Day is September seventh, that is the latest possible
- 2:33Speaker 4: Labor day. So it's like the longest summer we can
- 2:36Speaker 4: actually have.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Wow, I saw TikTok about that you did.
- 2:39Speaker 4: No, I thought I was breaking news here, but this
- 2:41Speaker 4: will not happen again until twenty thirty seven. So enjoying.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Wow. Thank you for the update. And it being in LA,
- 2:49Speaker 1: it has already felt like the longest summer. Like in
- 2:52Speaker 1: my mind, there are times where I go, are we
- 2:55Speaker 1: going to ever feel some cool weather again? No?
- 2:59Speaker 2: But you know people people around the world flock to
- 3:02Speaker 2: LA because of the weather.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I mean it's a dream here. Yeah, yeah, it's the dream.
- 3:07Speaker 1: There's when people complain about California and how expensive it is,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm like, we're happy to pay the sunshine.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Tax I am happy ish.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Where else would I go?
- 3:18Speaker 2: That's true. This quality of life, that's true. That's why
- 3:22Speaker 2: I have.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Whatever is on my TikTok, that's my algorithm right now.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Is people talking about how much they love southern California. Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 4: and I agree with them wholeheartedly. It's the greatest.
- 3:29Speaker 1: That's the energy we need. People bash it and have
- 3:32Speaker 1: all these opinions. They don't even live here.
- 3:34Speaker 4: It's glorious.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But you know, I also saw something on TikTok that
- 3:37Speaker 2: people are flocking back to La I see that people
- 3:40Speaker 2: flocked away after the pande and now they're flocking back.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You know, the birds always return. They try to find
- 3:47Speaker 1: try to fly the coop. They try to find joy
- 3:49Speaker 1: in a bigger house somewhere else. It's not about more land.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It's not about more land.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Nope, compact land.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's about being neighborly, really close to your neighbors.
- 4:02Speaker 2: We were looking at houses yesterday and I you didn't
- 4:06Speaker 2: even give me an update.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It is good.
- 4:07Speaker 2: But we went to this like one neighborhood and literally
- 4:10Speaker 2: all the homes were like touching each other, like every
- 4:13Speaker 2: single one shared a wall. And I was like, this
- 4:15Speaker 2: is this is the compactness we love and the community
- 4:19Speaker 2: we read in southern California. You know, just like get
- 4:23Speaker 2: to know your neighbors, share a wall, share some soups,
- 4:26Speaker 2: share some sugar.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Hear each other doing things.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, dogs, a barkin', birds, a chirpin', all
- 4:34Speaker 2: the sounds.
- 4:35Speaker 1: What did you do over this weekend?
- 4:38Speaker 2: What did I do this weekend? We had a big
- 4:40Speaker 2: Shabbat on Friday night. We Oh my gosh, I feel
- 4:45Speaker 2: like we just did like a lot. We had a
- 4:47Speaker 2: lot of celebrating. We had Robbie's grandmother's birthday. We looked
- 4:51Speaker 2: at houses, you know, just like grown up stuff.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It is very adult. Yeah, a lot of adult things
- 4:58Speaker 1: happening over there, too.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Many adults things. I'm like, I feel like a teenager, Like,
- 5:03Speaker 2: how am I looking into homes? Am I?
- 5:06Speaker 3: I'm a child bride. I shouldn't have to do this?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, like am I? Everyone? I'm like, yeah, it's time
- 5:11Speaker 2: to have a baby because the biological clock says so.
- 5:13Speaker 2: But like, I still feel like I'm too young.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, we're We're essentially just young kids finding their way.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, like, what'd you guys do?
- 5:27Speaker 1: We did? I feel like a lot. Hailey had a
- 5:30Speaker 1: dinner from gold House honored her with a dinner at
- 5:34Speaker 1: this Japanese restaurant, so we went and celebrated, and it
- 5:38Speaker 1: was so cool because it was everyone from the AAPI community,
- 5:42Speaker 1: so I was like the only white girl there, which
- 5:45Speaker 1: was I felt like an honorary. I was honored to
- 5:47Speaker 1: be invited. And although we did take a picture and
- 5:50Speaker 1: Haley's like, Babe, you do look a little Asian, So
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm like, maybe somewhere in my in my ancestral DNA,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I have a little bit of a bab But it
- 5:59Speaker 1: was so fun because everyone was so supportive and she's
- 6:04Speaker 1: met a lot of the people, but they are also
- 6:06Speaker 1: kind of acquaintances and a lot of people she hadn't met,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and they were just so celebratory of like what she's
- 6:10Speaker 1: doing and about the movie. And I think, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 1: she talked about this on the podcast, but like her
- 6:16Speaker 1: obviously sexuality was a big part of her navigating that
- 6:21Speaker 1: growing up, but there was also the part of her
- 6:23Speaker 1: where she's half white and half Japanese and accepting and
- 6:26Speaker 1: like leaning into her Japanese culture. And I feel like
- 6:29Speaker 1: she's really found her community in the API community. So
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm getting ready for the dinner and I was having
- 6:35Speaker 1: I haven't had one of these nights in a long
- 6:36Speaker 1: time where clothes are everywhere, nothing fits. I'm like, knowing
- 6:41Speaker 1: sister Hailey had to go early to do content, so
- 6:44Speaker 1: I was left on my own, which is bad because
- 6:47Speaker 1: I have no no one pressuring me, no accountability, and
- 6:52Speaker 1: obviously I didn't want to be late because it was
- 6:54Speaker 1: we were honoring her. And I'm like, nothing fits, nothing fits,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I don't like anything. Everything's ugly. I'm getting rid of
- 6:59Speaker 1: my whole closet. And then I found my leather pants
- 7:03Speaker 1: for my Macy's collab, which was what year twenty nineteen.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That is crazy, Tilly Bar three.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I have a pieces in our wardrobe as well.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So every time I do a closet clean out, I
- 7:17Speaker 1: try on my leather pants and I'm like, these are
- 7:19Speaker 1: actually so cute. I did I did a we really
- 7:22Speaker 1: did something with these pants, and I'm going to keep them.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I never get rid of them. And so I was like,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna wear my Beckatilly Bar three pants tonight and
- 7:33Speaker 1: they look fine. I'm leaving the house. They look totally normal. Okay,
- 7:36Speaker 1: there's nothing a ride with them. We go to the party,
- 7:41Speaker 1: we were mingling doing drink cocktail hours, so we're taking pictures.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm standing up right. Everyone else is talking about how
- 7:48Speaker 1: hot they are in this building. I'm cool as a cucumber,
- 7:51Speaker 1: actually have a chill. I'm never sweating or anything. Because
- 7:53Speaker 1: this is a lot of people's questions like did you
- 7:55Speaker 1: get too hot? We sit down and we're in like
- 7:59Speaker 1: a booth situation, so it's kind of packed in, but
- 8:02Speaker 1: still I'm totally fine.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Booth though, leather on leather, it was like a velvet booth.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Oh okay, and it was the inners of my legs.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So I get up quite a while into the dinner
- 8:13Speaker 1: because I was in the corner of the booth, so
- 8:15Speaker 1: either way, I had to make people get up. So
- 8:17Speaker 1: I was very trapped. So I get up. I go
- 8:20Speaker 1: to the bathroom and I'm butting buttoning my pants, looking
- 8:24Speaker 1: in the mirror and down the center of my thighs,
- 8:28Speaker 1: on my inner thighs of the pants, it looks like
- 8:30Speaker 1: someone took a shredder to them, like a greater and
- 8:33Speaker 1: the leather or I mean, it's a vegan vegan leather,
- 8:36Speaker 1: which we in our day called pleather.
- 8:38Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying though, that has a shelf life.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I didn't know that, yes, and I didn't know.
- 8:43Speaker 2: That shelf pleather for seven years and expect it not
- 8:47Speaker 2: to even I a fashion he's the connoisseur. I myself
- 8:51Speaker 2: know that.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Okay, well I did not. So I'm looking at my
- 8:54Speaker 1: pants and they're shredded, and you it's not like, oh,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you can't notice it.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You know, it's not like no, no, no.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You know of leggings and if your thighs rubbed together,
- 9:02Speaker 1: it kind of has that little picked fabric low.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Huh.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It wasn't that.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It was, Yeah, looks like it looks like a tiger
- 9:08Speaker 2: slashed across your Yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Did you not notice this when you put them on?
- 9:12Speaker 4: Is that?
- 9:12Speaker 1: No? They were fun?
- 9:13Speaker 3: When that's crazy?
- 9:14Speaker 1: That yeah, I have a mere selfie. We took pictures
- 9:17Speaker 1: at the event before I sat down.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It looks like that, and then when you showed the after,
- 9:21Speaker 3: I was like, it just lookedtly shredded. It looked like
- 9:23Speaker 3: you like wrote a rocket or something like that.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's crazy riding a rocket. I think they probably between
- 9:30Speaker 2: like the dust accumulation and like the it like probably
- 9:33Speaker 2: homogenized and just like, I'm sorry homogenized. Don't throw that out.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Can someone fact check the homogenized?
- 9:42Speaker 2: But it probably did from collecting dust inside your closet,
- 9:46Speaker 2: and then it probably homogenized on your legs with like
- 9:50Speaker 2: the heat rubbing against your legs and stuff and the action.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I was thinking because I kept crossing and then uncrossing,
- 9:55Speaker 1: So maybe the friction.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yes, friction and homogenosed.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm standing there like what do I I
- 10:06Speaker 1: can't do anything, and thank god there's a lining under
- 10:09Speaker 1: the plethor because you couldn't see my leg or anything.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah, thank God for who what? What?
- 10:19Speaker 3: I don't follow?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Thank God for who is that what you're saying, Thank
- 10:24Speaker 1: God for Macy's so I don't know me, and God
- 10:28Speaker 1: for everyone at the table.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I was trying to make a joke like you could
- 10:32Speaker 2: have given a like a little peep show if you didn't.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Have my inner thigh at the show. I'm trying to
- 10:38Speaker 1: get really, but thanks thank God for who, Thank God
- 10:42Speaker 1: for who. Yeah. So I opened the door and one
- 10:47Speaker 1: of the girls was standing there and I'm like, look
- 10:49Speaker 1: at my pants, and she's like what happened? So then
- 10:53Speaker 1: I just start trying to rip them, trying like tear
- 10:55Speaker 1: them all look like shredded or to make it look
- 10:58Speaker 1: kind of smooth, you know, because it looked like a graterer.
- 11:00Speaker 1: So I was trying to like make it look smooth,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and it just got worse. It was just peeling off
- 11:04Speaker 1: in like sheet. So I was like, whatever, give up,
- 11:07Speaker 1: just had to go out. But I literally felt like
- 11:09Speaker 1: Ross Geller in the bathroom, like where's my solution? And
- 11:13Speaker 1: there was none. So I said goodbye to those. They
- 11:17Speaker 1: had a good run.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, finally put them.
- 11:19Speaker 1: To bed where they needed to be.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yeah, my mind went like.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Five years ago, what twenty nineteen? Oh no, seven years?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Seven years, So I think I had them for two years.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Three to five years is what the Internet says is
- 11:35Speaker 3: the shelf life for that kind of But.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So many people message me and they're like, this literally
- 11:39Speaker 1: happened with my jacket. I was at a hockey game
- 11:41Speaker 1: and it just was like shreading off it.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Does I know that fast fashion gets yet because you
- 11:47Speaker 2: think like, oh, yeah, this isn't like real leather, it's pletho,
- 11:49Speaker 2: so let me get it. But then it just ends
- 11:51Speaker 2: up like shredding on you in like two years, and
- 11:53Speaker 2: you're like, I wish I would have.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Just I wish you'd do that prank on Robbie where
- 11:56Speaker 1: people get them the disintegrating short the swim shorts and
- 12:00Speaker 1: they go in the water they just disintegrate.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I wanted to do that last summer, but he's just
- 12:04Speaker 2: too up on the trends.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He saw it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Gotta be like quick with it.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yes, so he already saw it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, we had a conversation about his Japanese knives.
- 12:15Speaker 2: You did just.
- 12:17Speaker 1: How he got it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: So in the cooking game, it's like.
- 12:21Speaker 1: What he is cooking you is incredible.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I know someone messaged me and they're like, do you
- 12:26Speaker 2: feel guilty as the woman like not cooking? So I
- 12:30Speaker 2: was like, when I tell you, I feel like negative
- 12:34Speaker 2: ten percent guilt. I feel like negative ten percent guilt.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Why does it matter who's cooking and he loves it.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It's not like you're like putting it, like, get in
- 12:42Speaker 1: the kitchen, get.
- 12:44Speaker 2: In there, sir, I'm gonna toss you over the Oh yeah,
- 12:49Speaker 2: but I do clean. He cooks and eye clean, so
- 12:51Speaker 2: that's like the trade off clean. So I am. I'm
- 12:56Speaker 2: busting it in the in the sink with my glove.
- 12:58Speaker 1: The elbow grease, I'm really.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Ripping it in there after but yeah, I mean he
- 13:04Speaker 2: and I want to get him like he's just so
- 13:07Speaker 2: when he gets into something, he gets like so into it,
- 13:09Speaker 2: And I'm like, I want to get him thing for
- 13:11Speaker 2: Father's Day that's like cute in the kitchen. But I'm like,
- 13:16Speaker 2: how am I going to compete with all of these
- 13:18Speaker 2: Japanese knives?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard when he's getting handmade knives that were
- 13:21Speaker 1: only made once a month for It's hard to know
- 13:25Speaker 1: what to get someone. Yeah, but I do want to
- 13:29Speaker 1: talk about a gift you did get him, but first
- 13:32Speaker 1: ran take a break.
- 13:48Speaker 2: We're back. I'm all tired today, can you tell?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah? Not because of how you look, but you're the vibes.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Okay, even better looking? Good looking, good looking fresh?
- 14:06Speaker 1: You really? You really pop with gold jewelry.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Thank you? Yeah, silver looks weird on me. It's tough
- 14:13Speaker 2: for me to wear silver.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Same for me, but when I do wear silver, I
- 14:17Speaker 1: like it, but I always go towards gold. Yeah, but
- 14:21Speaker 1: gold really looks nice on you.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 14:23Speaker 1: So you got your one year anniversary gift. Your one
- 14:27Speaker 1: year wedding anniversary gift came in the mail a couple
- 14:30Speaker 1: months late, but who's counting me?
- 14:33Speaker 2: I'm counting.
- 14:35Speaker 1: To care, to explain, here to share.
- 14:38Speaker 2: So this is just like a PSA because I just
- 14:41Speaker 2: didn't do enough my diligent research, and I thought so
- 14:46Speaker 2: cute for our one year anniversary, I wanted to get him,
- 14:48Speaker 2: like I want to just get him an item, you know,
- 14:51Speaker 2: like a cool jacket or like a new like you know,
- 14:54Speaker 2: work bag, whatever. I wanted to get something meaningful.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Well, and it's paper, right, wasn't it. Yeah?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, your one year's papers. I was like, I'm going
- 15:01Speaker 2: to commission a painting.
- 15:08Speaker 5: When I commissioned, it was not what February. So I
- 15:12Speaker 5: was like on top of it, like our anniversary's middle
- 15:14Speaker 5: of March, and I'm like, okay, it is February. So
- 15:17Speaker 5: I was ahead of the game and I was like
- 15:19Speaker 5: reaching out to people and this girl told me, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 5: I'll get it done.
- 15:22Speaker 2: If not March, definitely by April. I got it like
- 15:25Speaker 2: June one. Okay, whatever, that's besides the point. But I'm
- 15:31Speaker 2: such a dingling. I thought I was commissioning like a
- 15:34Speaker 2: hand painted piece of art and it was not. It
- 15:37Speaker 2: was like, it's not it's not hand painted, Tanya, No, yes.
- 15:43Speaker 1: What is it? It's like screen printed?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know the exact term. But I don't
- 15:49Speaker 2: know the exact term. But it's not hand painted.
- 15:51Speaker 3: It's like printed, Yeah, like an epsom inkjet printer. It
- 15:55Speaker 3: just printed it out.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I can't confirm because I don't know, but yeah, it's
- 15:58Speaker 2: like printed. It's like a print.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Wait, but do you think she like drew it and
- 16:01Speaker 1: then scanned it in and then.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'm not sure to be honest, so when you.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Were asking, you weren't like, hey, just confirming this as
- 16:09Speaker 1: a hand painted Nope.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I didn't even think. Okay, I didn't even think.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And the concept was that it was just meaningful parts
- 16:16Speaker 1: of your wedding.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like meaningful parts of the wedding process.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And the bits and pieces are really sweet and like meaningful,
- 16:23Speaker 2: and I like when he opened it, he did love it,
- 16:25Speaker 2: like it was sentimental and you know, there there are
- 16:29Speaker 2: a lot of meaningful nods in it. But when I
- 16:32Speaker 2: told him how much I paid for it, and he was like, girl, no,
- 16:37Speaker 2: we do these things together.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Because he's a legit artist. Yeah, so good.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, it was my bad learning experience
- 16:45Speaker 2: for sure. But if anybody knows where to frame things
- 16:49Speaker 2: around here, I really want to frame it.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I showed Halen and she goes, well, they did it
- 16:56Speaker 1: come framed? And I go no, it came like this
- 16:58Speaker 1: and she goes, no, no, not even framed.
- 17:06Speaker 2: No you I could have gotten it framed, but the
- 17:08Speaker 2: ship ship chip it framed from New York. I was like, no,
- 17:10Speaker 2: let me do the work over here in l A.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Just send it on.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Honestly, it looks it's really pretty, and I do feel
- 17:18Speaker 1: like it's got a memory attached, Like if there's a
- 17:20Speaker 1: cute memory attached to it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yes, yes, so there's that. We have plans for it.
- 17:26Speaker 2: It's going to be it's special. It's special. Yeah yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 2: but yeah. And now he's like, we're trying to like
- 17:33Speaker 2: do housing stuff and I'm like, I can't even commission
- 17:35Speaker 2: a proper painting, Like, do you want to trust it
- 17:37Speaker 2: with the house?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Honestly, Morgan, financial negotiation might need to be between Robbie literally.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Ever literally, I'm like.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Wait, so when he opened it, my idea is to
- 17:53Speaker 1: have Robbie recreated, hand painted and see if he could
- 17:56Speaker 1: do it to give to you.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Oh, actually I still haven't gotten my anniversary gift from
- 18:03Speaker 2: him either.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Wow, something you should bring up. It might be the
- 18:08Speaker 1: knife actually what he's using to cook your meal?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Definitely not.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I know you didn't watch Summerhouse, well Summerhouse reunion,
- 18:17Speaker 1: because we've never watched Summerhouse, right, correct, But.
- 18:20Speaker 2: But I've seen the whole reunion on Instagram.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Oh you have?
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, So clips were viral. So what was that viral?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah? So Taylor Banks came over. She made a full
- 18:32Speaker 1: power point for me and gave me a quick rundown
- 18:35Speaker 1: on everyone. So I knew the kind of the loure
- 18:38Speaker 1: going into the players. Yeah, knew a little bit about them.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And my one thing about my biggest takeaway was that
- 18:46Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out why West and Amanda didn't come
- 18:49Speaker 1: in just being like, man, we had just handled this
- 18:54Speaker 1: so poorly, and we want to use like this moment
- 18:57Speaker 1: to look you both in the eye and say your
- 18:59Speaker 1: name and a pologize to you, and obviously we're together,
- 19:02Speaker 1: we want to be together, but we did it in
- 19:03Speaker 1: the worst way possible. And you don't owe us anything.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You don't owe us for giveness or grace, but we
- 19:08Speaker 1: want to do that.
- 19:09Speaker 2: They didn't do that. Just Wes looked.
- 19:12Speaker 1: At the ground. I felt like the whole time he
- 19:14Speaker 1: was talking like he would barely look anyone in the eye,
- 19:16Speaker 1: which is one of my big X is not being
- 19:19Speaker 1: able to look someone in the eye when you're trying
- 19:21Speaker 1: to take a Well, I won't even say he took accountability,
- 19:24Speaker 1: but if you're even attempting to take accountability, it's a
- 19:26Speaker 1: red flag if they can't look you in the eye.
- 19:29Speaker 1: And then Amanda, and again, I know these things are edited,
- 19:32Speaker 1: so I take everything with a grain of salt. But
- 19:35Speaker 1: if every time they showed her she was like rolling
- 19:37Speaker 1: her eyes or doing a heavy sigh when someone was
- 19:39Speaker 1: talking about.
- 19:40Speaker 6: The situation, and I just thought, what a weird way
- 19:45Speaker 6: to move, even if you're just doing it from the
- 19:49Speaker 6: like how you're perceived from the fans.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Well, maybe they feel like they didn't do anything wrong.
- 19:54Speaker 1: That's crazy though, even if they but that's.
- 19:56Speaker 2: What happens with narcissists. They like legitimately, like they legitimately
- 20:01Speaker 2: can't take accountability because they only see their side of
- 20:05Speaker 2: the situation, do you know what I mean? So like
- 20:06Speaker 2: in their mind, like they she was divorced, they weren't together,
- 20:11Speaker 2: they didn't do anything wrong, and like they've convinced themselves
- 20:15Speaker 2: of that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: But West was had enough aware because they were saying,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you move so differently like when you're on TV and
- 20:23Speaker 1: on the show than how you move in real life,
- 20:25Speaker 1: Like you're so charming and you're so like wonderful and
- 20:30Speaker 1: presented this amazing human and then the way you were
- 20:33Speaker 1: like sneak around and don't take accountability for things is
- 20:36Speaker 1: so different. And then I got to thinking about how
- 20:40Speaker 1: these women and I don't know these people at all.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I don't know their care I don't know anything about
- 20:44Speaker 1: them beyond.
- 20:45Speaker 2: That they're like people were saying that they were like
- 20:46Speaker 2: on Beta Blockers.
- 20:47Speaker 1: She had to abyss, she had to amit. Okay, that
- 20:51Speaker 1: makes me you saw you saw people say that yea, yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: because we were thinking that. But my thing is that
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm watching these two and like beautiful women right, and
- 21:02Speaker 1: I don't know anything about them. Sierra seems like so accomplished, amazing, beautiful,
- 21:08Speaker 1: Amanda seems beautiful, so like cool girl, and then they're
- 21:12Speaker 1: fighting and their friendship fell out for this man who
- 21:17Speaker 1: is like.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Why mid at best.
- 21:21Speaker 1: But like why and I didn't Taylor said, when you
- 21:24Speaker 1: see him on the show, it is different to go
- 21:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you could ever go back and
- 21:27Speaker 1: see him now that you've seen this version of him.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But she goes like he does have something about him.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But she said, b d E.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I know you think like, oh, they have everything at
- 21:36Speaker 2: their fingertips, like they're gorgeous, they're this, they're that. It's like, again,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I don't know them. I've never seen the show, so
- 21:44Speaker 2: I don't I'm not speaking.
- 21:45Speaker 1: For them from what you know. I mean, yeah, like from.
- 21:47Speaker 2: My like from my own experience, I feel the same way.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Like I was like, I'm a catch, I've got the
- 21:51Speaker 2: world that my fingertips, but you you want it so
- 21:56Speaker 2: badly that you just like try to make it happen
- 22:00Speaker 2: with Okay, he's got a job.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Why I go after your friend's ex, Well, that I don't.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Know, because like I never really had that situation, because
- 22:11Speaker 2: I feel like you try to encourage me to date
- 22:13Speaker 2: Robert was quite yeah, yeah, which was quite the opposite
- 22:20Speaker 2: of this problem at hand. I know, And I didn't
- 22:23Speaker 2: want to date him because he was your ex.
- 22:26Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're quite the opposite of amandaon Sierra.
- 22:31Speaker 1: No, I know, I know. Anyways, it just it had
- 22:33Speaker 1: me in a weird headspace and I was like fired up,
- 22:36Speaker 1: and then I got. I was like, why wouldn't they
- 22:39Speaker 1: come onto the show just being with some humility and like, right, hey,
- 22:43Speaker 1: even if it's maybe it's not even genuine, and just
- 22:46Speaker 1: from the how they're being perceived by fans of like
- 22:48Speaker 1: trying to be like, hey, we want to be together.
- 22:50Speaker 1: We were, we did it in the worst way, but
- 22:53Speaker 1: it is what it is and we're so sorry.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I saw the clips where they were like, they didn't
- 22:58Speaker 2: consummate their relationship GRIP until after they put up a
- 23:01Speaker 2: statement that they were like, so they were like, what,
- 23:02Speaker 2: you guys just made out a couple of times, put
- 23:04Speaker 2: out a joint statement and then we're like, yeah, let's
- 23:08Speaker 2: let's make it official.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Consummate. Well, I think that was the word I want
- 23:15Speaker 1: to say that that they use or someone was using.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Someone used that word they said that, and I thought
- 23:21Speaker 1: this was really like a like a legal cel, like
- 23:24Speaker 1: we're going to consummate after we release our statement together.
- 23:29Speaker 1: So anyways, that's my take on I will be watching
- 23:31Speaker 1: part two and part three, which I don't know what
- 23:34Speaker 1: part three yeah, and I know my I don't know
- 23:37Speaker 1: if they're focused on them still or if they move
- 23:40Speaker 1: if they move on past that situation. I don't think
- 23:43Speaker 1: I care.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah, good bye, good night. But Love Island, Oh my gosh,
- 23:49Speaker 2: the embarrassment of riches that is Love Island, because guess
- 23:52Speaker 2: what Love Island is back tomorrow night. It is every
- 23:55Speaker 2: single day of the week, this week and next week.
- 23:58Speaker 2: It is every single day except for hump Day until July.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Wait, every day this week even Wednesday.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, oh wow, And they really want to get you in.
- 24:09Speaker 3: And then going forward they have it on weekends. To
- 24:11Speaker 3: just know Wednesdays. Why Wednesday no hump Day?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Hump days for humping you know.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Makes total sense. I'm sorry.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Saturday is or Friday? What day is the after show?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Saturdays?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah, after Sun, which is like a reunion time.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Nobody really watches Saturday.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Ok, Okay, So I know that the amount of footage
- 24:31Speaker 3: and content that we get is a topic often with
- 24:35Speaker 3: the Love Island, But like, have you ever figured out
- 24:37Speaker 3: the like are you watching the previous day? Is that
- 24:40Speaker 3: what's happening?
- 24:41Speaker 2: So I from what I've my per my research, I
- 24:45Speaker 2: don't know for so don't quote me. I think it's
- 24:49Speaker 2: at most a two day delay from like what's happening
- 24:52Speaker 2: in the actual villain Fiji and what we're seeing but
- 24:54Speaker 2: it's like pretty real time about those editors.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I mean, that's just that situation before it sucks.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's like when stuff starts like hitting like
- 25:05Speaker 2: and and that's why, like the people that they bring
- 25:08Speaker 2: in they want to see like who the audience likes
- 25:11Speaker 2: and who they want to see. Like let's say there's
- 25:13Speaker 2: a guy that they love and he's just like not
- 25:14Speaker 2: hitting it off with anybody. They want to bring in
- 25:16Speaker 2: a bombshell that wants to date that guy, do you
- 25:19Speaker 2: know what I mean, so that they get more screen time. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 2: it's like playing sims.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I kind of wish they'd take the audience vote out
- 25:25Speaker 1: of it.
- 25:26Speaker 2: What Yeah, no way, because.
- 25:30Speaker 1: It's hot take. Because here's what's happened, especially last season.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I saw some discourse on this, which is that people
- 25:38Speaker 1: try to drudge up things that people have posted from
- 25:41Speaker 1: like twenty ten and get them canceled and removed and listen,
- 25:44Speaker 1: these are things that people should have take accountability for,
- 25:48Speaker 1: but like removing them from the show based on something
- 25:52Speaker 1: that you don't agree with and then everyone ganging up
- 25:54Speaker 1: on it. To me, feels like the whole point of
- 25:57Speaker 1: the show is to kind of watch people couple up right. Yeah,
- 26:01Speaker 1: so already they're they're like trying to get people removed
- 26:04Speaker 1: from the house based on things that they've said in
- 26:06Speaker 1: the past or posted in the past, correct, and it
- 26:09Speaker 1: just kind of takes It's just like this mob mentality
- 26:12Speaker 1: where it's like you remove everything that I don't agree,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you know, and it just kind of gets a little bit.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I wish they could just let them, let the sims
- 26:21Speaker 1: be and then vote at the very end, oh.
- 26:25Speaker 2: For the winner. Yeah, so I politely disagree.
- 26:28Speaker 1: As a stand why.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Mob member who votes religiously for this show?
- 26:34Speaker 1: But how are you voting? I guess how would like
- 26:36Speaker 1: you're not voting based on my preference? Yeah, but you're
- 26:40Speaker 1: not looking up these contestants and seeing like.
- 26:42Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm going based on like what I
- 26:45Speaker 2: see on the show, and I love that.
- 26:46Speaker 1: But not the people that are really passionate about it
- 26:49Speaker 1: don't do that. So I think that's the argument, is
- 26:52Speaker 1: is it taking the fun out of the audience being involved?
- 26:58Speaker 2: To be honest, I don't even know if they're using
- 27:00Speaker 2: our votes like these producers. I don't mind. I don't mind.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You just like feeling involved.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I want to feel involved. I want to feel like
- 27:09Speaker 2: it matters. But if they're like doing some stuff to
- 27:13Speaker 2: our votes to create whatever they're doing, and they're doing
- 27:15Speaker 2: an excellent job.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I just feel's right, then they don't need any voting.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I like, I like yeah, But that's why I think
- 27:24Speaker 1: it's like who do you want to keep a w rep?
- 27:27Speaker 1: What if it's who? Like what if they get pride,
- 27:30Speaker 1: they get some snacks sent to them, like cookies from
- 27:32Speaker 1: the audience that they're voted for the most or something
- 27:35Speaker 1: instead of just removed.
- 27:36Speaker 2: But like that's what's also so interesting. So like the
- 27:39Speaker 2: public votes on who they who they like the most,
- 27:41Speaker 2: and then they tell the islanders, and then you see
- 27:43Speaker 2: who flips to like start liking the person that that
- 27:46Speaker 2: the audience likes the most. You know, I mean you're like, okay,
- 27:48Speaker 2: you're fake, you're fake. You're fake.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Did you feel like the audience chose right last year? No?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Like obviously so that the audience loved Amaya Papaya mm hmm.
- 28:00Speaker 2: And then you could see after she was voted the
- 28:02Speaker 2: most liked, all the guys started like coming back to
- 28:05Speaker 2: her like oh a, Maya am Iya, and she ended
- 28:07Speaker 2: up winning the season.
- 28:08Speaker 1: But that's so fake.
- 28:09Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying it's like fun though I know.
- 28:13Speaker 1: But a Maya, are you agreeing with my what I think?
- 28:18Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 28:21Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. It gives them, uh the man,
- 28:25Speaker 1: especially them trying like no one gave Amaya at the
- 28:28Speaker 1: time of day. It was sad last season.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they found out that she was like
- 28:31Speaker 2: the people's princess more sad. They blocked to her.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So it is fake.
- 28:38Speaker 7: I know.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I wish Amya could see through it, like I wish
- 28:40Speaker 2: you would have been like I'm gonna win on my own,
- 28:42Speaker 2: like bye bye bye bye. Yeah, But I don't think
- 28:45Speaker 2: you could actually even do that.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I thought you got to choose if you want to
- 28:48Speaker 1: split the money or not.
- 28:50Speaker 2: They used to do that. I don't know if they
- 28:53Speaker 2: do it anymore, or maybe they stopped in the UK.
- 28:55Speaker 2: I'm not sure. I don't know too many of them.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Is like with a TV in real especially reality TV,
- 29:00Speaker 1: they're always going to cast people that have city views
- 29:04Speaker 1: like and views that people don't agree with, and like
- 29:07Speaker 1: there's always going to be something that you can drudge up,
- 29:09Speaker 1: and it's just like either stop watching the show or
- 29:13Speaker 1: just let people like come come back after the show
- 29:17Speaker 1: and address these things, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I know what you're saying.
- 29:20Speaker 1: So I just I would like a little less involvement personally,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and I think you agree after after getting full circle
- 29:28Speaker 1: of your your remarks.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Well, guess what Love Island UK premieres? This was it
- 29:34Speaker 2: Mark Thursday this week this week, So now I have
- 29:38Speaker 2: USA and UK in tandem airing.
- 29:41Speaker 3: You're gonna watch both?
- 29:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, how do you?
- 29:44Speaker 1: How do you manage such a schedule.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So correct, it's tough to manage. But I think you're
- 29:50Speaker 2: behind on UK right, yes, yes, yes, yes, we're like
- 29:53Speaker 2: significantly behind in the UK. But I make it work,
- 29:58Speaker 2: you know. And the and what happened last summer is
- 30:01Speaker 2: UK kind of sucked last summer, so I just stopped
- 30:03Speaker 2: watching UK and went full US.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Oh wow, which is normally the opposite.
- 30:07Speaker 2: It's normally the opposite.
- 30:08Speaker 1: So it'll be a kind of.
- 30:09Speaker 2: A we'll see if the UK is going to step
- 30:12Speaker 2: it up this season, a.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Live Love Islands stand off for you?
- 30:15Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Well did you have any just based on the photos,
- 30:19Speaker 1: any fan favorites based on visuals?
- 30:21Speaker 2: Well? Charge, uh, did you did you watch last season
- 30:24Speaker 2: at all?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Do you remember Charlie, his brother is on this season.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Are people excited?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Oh, that's so excited about that. Yes, I'm so excited.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Charlie being like super below.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. He was gone too soon.
- 30:42Speaker 1: He was.
- 30:45Speaker 2: He was a flash of the pan.
- 30:46Speaker 1: But but it was if audiences didn't have to.
- 30:51Speaker 2: They made a mistake and they should not have another reason.
- 30:56Speaker 1: You know, I don't even know.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Can you do a little quick. I don't know if
- 30:59Speaker 2: Charlie got to home by the audience or by the Islanders.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Hannah didn'tchoose him, right, Hannah chose Pepe.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I'm not sure, Mark, I'm on it right now.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Charlie Giorgio left Love Island season seven after a public
- 31:13Speaker 4: vote play with his partner Hannah with a new bombshell Pepe,
- 31:17Speaker 4: leaving him signal single. Yeah. The remaining Islanders then voted
- 31:21Speaker 4: to send Charlie home, ending his journey just hours after
- 31:24Speaker 4: he and Hannah decided to commit to each other.
- 31:26Speaker 2: So the Islanders ultimately sent Charlie home. Yes, that's what
- 31:30Speaker 2: it was. He was in the bottom three from America
- 31:33Speaker 2: and then he was sent home by the Islanders. Right,
- 31:35Speaker 2: petty little Islanders, And.
- 31:37Speaker 1: These are all like new adults.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Fresh adults like fresh people, right, Like, there's not going
- 31:44Speaker 3: to be like, you know, like Hannah Brown is like
- 31:46Speaker 3: going to show up on the No, they.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Don't do that, Okay, GI mean like crossover reality Yeah
- 31:51Speaker 2: yeah yeah, like perfect Match, Yes no, not like that.
- 31:54Speaker 1: These are fresh.
- 31:55Speaker 2: These are fresh sins, no poverty and unfortunately which they
- 32:00Speaker 2: do though is.
- 32:01Speaker 1: A reality road Rules merge.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh I loved road Rules the challenge so good.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well stay tuned for our takes on
- 32:13Speaker 1: Love Island. I'm just doing us a. Yeah, that's enough
- 32:18Speaker 1: for Taylor. Swift has a new song coming out.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Yeah, breaks, well, we are all about breaking, and Ariana
- 32:30Speaker 2: Grande has new music. We talk about it. We come back, of.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Course, we're back. You're Taylor. Okay. So this is this
- 32:57Speaker 1: is a scenario where the Swifties had a theory based
- 33:02Speaker 1: off an Easter egg and it came true.
- 33:08Speaker 2: This Easter egg felt very pointed. Easter egg?
- 33:13Speaker 1: Which one are you talking about?
- 33:15Speaker 2: The countdown? Was the cloud countdown?
- 33:19Speaker 1: I was thinking because she was in an outfit that
- 33:22Speaker 1: was like uh, color toy story colors or something. It
- 33:28Speaker 1: was like a blue and white.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Dress or give me the receipts.
- 33:31Speaker 1: That's where I saw the rumor start.
- 33:33Speaker 3: She looks like bo peep.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's like bo peep. So that's where the
- 33:39Speaker 1: uh that the Toy Story thing started.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I thought it was like the countdown on the on
- 33:43Speaker 2: her website. I was like, it felt a little bit
- 33:46Speaker 2: more than an Easter egg. It felt like she was
- 33:47Speaker 2: laying it on us.
- 33:49Speaker 1: No, well, yeah, once the clouds came into the picture,
- 33:52Speaker 1: it felt very direct. But the dress itself is what
- 33:56Speaker 1: started the conversation. So she's gonna have a new song
- 34:00Speaker 1: and Toy Story five.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I knew you knew I knew it. I knew you,
- 34:07Speaker 4: I knew it.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I knew you do.
- 34:08Speaker 1: We think it's gonna be sad.
- 34:10Speaker 4: So she saw the movie, loved the movie, and then
- 34:13Speaker 4: came home and wrote that song.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Yeah, some things are just easy like that.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Sometimes you just know, she says.
- 34:19Speaker 3: When those clouds appeared, I texted my sister, who is
- 34:22Speaker 3: an animator on Toy Story five, and I said, do
- 34:25Speaker 3: you know anything about Taylor Swift making a song? And
- 34:27Speaker 3: she said, I don't know anything. Really, Yeah, they don't know,
- 34:31Speaker 3: like they don't know anything about that. So that was
- 34:34Speaker 3: put in like after or they kept it was like
- 34:37Speaker 3: a very small team.
- 34:38Speaker 4: That was like, we know the characters are lip syncing
- 34:40Speaker 4: along to it.
- 34:41Speaker 3: They're not, and Taylor Swift is not a toy in
- 34:44Speaker 3: the world.
- 34:44Speaker 4: That's a shame. That would have been good.
- 34:45Speaker 1: They did say they were going to be Travis and
- 34:47Speaker 1: Taylor were gonna get married and front all the dolls
- 34:50Speaker 1: as toys, and yeah, the things went in a Delford
- 34:56Speaker 1: spiral quick with the Swifties. You know, it's seven, you know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: twenty six. What do you know about that?
- 35:05Speaker 2: And that when you think her next new albums eight seven,
- 35:08Speaker 2: eight seven, not to six August seventh, I know, yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Two six is the year, yes, yeah, which is thirteen
- 35:16Speaker 1: times too.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I don't know how I feel about this is a song,
- 35:23Speaker 2: but I think she's trying to get an oscar.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I think she's trying to get an oscar so she
- 35:26Speaker 1: can be on her way.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Okay, that makes sense because I'm like.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Well, she had she had a song in Hunger Games.
- 35:34Speaker 1: She had a song, and she's had a song in
- 35:36Speaker 1: quite a few movies.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I feel like, how many more?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Maybe two? Maybe had two? That's a big deal. I
- 35:42Speaker 1: mean for her to have songs in a movie, you know,
- 35:46Speaker 1: oh my god. One of her best which one crazier. Yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 1: she's in the movie too, Yeah, singing it.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Ariana Grande also released a music Do we think?
- 35:58Speaker 1: What do we think the sound of Taylor song is
- 35:59Speaker 1: gonna be? Do you think it's gonna be other sound?
- 36:01Speaker 4: The country? Somebody says country here.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I think it's gonna sound very toy Story.
- 36:06Speaker 4: By Taylor and Jack anton Off. That's a good sign.
- 36:09Speaker 1: So that's country sounds.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Country could be willowy mm.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Oh willowy Okay, all right, moving on.
- 36:22Speaker 2: We'll find out when's it come out June.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I will say Toy Story really does a great job,
- 36:27Speaker 1: because every movie they've done is great, a great. You know,
- 36:30Speaker 1: it's hard to keep a franchise.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Going like they have, and and bigger than ever. I
- 36:34Speaker 2: feel like every movie just gets bigger and bigger. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:37Speaker 2: and to the point.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Where we're pretty sure three was the last one, and
- 36:40Speaker 4: then we're pretty sure four was the last one, and
- 36:42Speaker 4: it's five and everyone's so excited.
- 36:44Speaker 2: You know what that's gonna happen to Sonic, that's right.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Keep they just keep the big ones coming. They're just
- 36:56Speaker 2: gonna keep the big ones coming.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta keep those franchises coming for the fans.
- 37:01Speaker 2: You know, coming in hot?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Okay, what do you think of Ariana's new song?
- 37:04Speaker 8: So?
- 37:06Speaker 2: I love Ariana Grande, but this song Okay, I know
- 37:09Speaker 2: I love this song. Okay, but I was pissing myself
- 37:12Speaker 2: because I feel like there's there's two types of girls
- 37:15Speaker 2: in this world, right There's the Ariana Grande's and then
- 37:19Speaker 2: there's the Tanyas, And I feel like you might be
- 37:21Speaker 2: one of the Ariana's. What I hate that I made
- 37:25Speaker 2: you love me and I barely tried, never have I
- 37:31Speaker 2: could never sing that. I tried the hardest, I tried
- 37:35Speaker 2: the most.
- 37:36Speaker 1: No one can say you didn't try.
- 37:37Speaker 2: No one can say I didn't try. You told me
- 37:39Speaker 2: you like cookies. I'm sending you cookies from the best
- 37:42Speaker 2: cookie store in La County.
- 37:43Speaker 1: That's one of my favorite stories.
- 37:45Speaker 2: You tell me that you like it, you run cold.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I'm sending you the best Lola blanket on the market.
- 37:52Speaker 2: You bet your ass. I tried, and I tried, and
- 37:54Speaker 2: I kept on try, and so I read that lyric
- 37:56Speaker 2: and I was like, could never be me, and that's.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Why we love you.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Could never be me?
- 38:01Speaker 4: Not a relatable song for you to sing as you're
- 38:03Speaker 4: driving around.
- 38:03Speaker 2: No, I'm singing out. I hate that I made you
- 38:07Speaker 2: love me because I bear Lee tried.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Do you love the song? Yes, like like one of
- 38:17Speaker 1: your favorites she's ever released.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Wow, You've said that about every song that gets released.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I'm starting to question it's not true ever, not like
- 38:25Speaker 1: a song that's you said you've got chills from a
- 38:28Speaker 1: lyric and me by dealers.
- 38:33Speaker 3: What lyric gave you chills?
- 38:36Speaker 1: Me? She said you got.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Goose bump and shimmers. Okay, chill like a cringe, like
- 38:44Speaker 2: a crin like shivers like a crine.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Hey, kids, spelling is fun.
- 38:52Speaker 2: That's awesome without me.
- 38:56Speaker 1: But have you ever heard that song? Slowed Down? Are
- 39:00Speaker 1: pretty deep? I know, not just it's just the tune
- 39:06Speaker 1: of yeah yeah yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 2: But anyways, I thought maybe you could relate to the
- 39:11Speaker 2: r on Ariana Grande song.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I haven't thought that deeply into it, but I mean, yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I guess I don't really have. I've never felt like
- 39:17Speaker 1: a hate that it made you love me.
- 39:19Speaker 2: That's a very like I remember back in the day
- 39:22Speaker 2: you had some flocking towards you. You had many flocks,
- 39:26Speaker 2: and I was like, can I get a wing? Toss
- 39:32Speaker 2: me a wing? The birds are flocking circling Becca.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I don't have the memories of being circled or flocked to.
- 39:41Speaker 1: So that's interesting that that's your memory. I think I
- 39:43Speaker 1: just wasn't I think you have a vision of me
- 39:46Speaker 1: not being interested.
- 39:47Speaker 7: Yes, so that's your memory barely tribe. Yeah, no, I
- 39:54Speaker 7: was a little I was hoping for more from her first.
- 39:58Speaker 7: You know, I was looking for Twilight. So I'm the
- 40:00Speaker 7: underrated bop that didn't get enough love.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I'm looking for no tears left to cry personally. But yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 2: this sounds good. But compared to her past, it's not
- 40:10Speaker 2: a bang release. It's not a banger. It's a vibe.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a vibe you can go in a playlist
- 40:16Speaker 1: and go with like.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you could smoke a dooby and vibe out, because.
- 40:22Speaker 3: That's right, that's.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Smoke a dooby and vibe out.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Wow we should do that sometimes.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I do all the time.
- 40:33Speaker 1: What do you think about Dua and Callum getting married? Oh?
- 40:36Speaker 1: She has big feelings?
- 40:37Speaker 2: No, no, no, I actually don't. Oh, okay, we have
- 40:41Speaker 2: enough time. I don't want to forget about the Gwyneth
- 40:43Speaker 2: Paltrow thing because it was my absolute favorite thing on
- 40:46Speaker 2: the Internet of the week. But I'm happy for doing callum.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Okay, what about you? Yeah, I don't know that I
- 40:55Speaker 1: I Dua Lipa is one of those people where I
- 40:58Speaker 1: think she has from the optics of her life, she
- 41:01Speaker 1: has the best life of all time, Like she's a
- 41:04Speaker 1: mega celebrity, but it doesn't feel like she's hounded in
- 41:09Speaker 1: her celebrity lifestyle. Like you see pictures of her at.
- 41:12Speaker 2: A local she's pretty hounded.
- 41:13Speaker 1: She makes it feel like she's not. She makes it
- 41:16Speaker 1: feel like she's.
- 41:17Speaker 8: A godlessly hounded, perfectly level of famous, and she goes
- 41:22Speaker 8: and performs, and then she's traveling on yachts and just
- 41:25Speaker 8: with her now husband and her friends and then taking
- 41:29Speaker 8: beautiful photos and it's just kind of like she's found
- 41:32Speaker 8: the the balance of it all.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Somebody was saying that, like she mark, do you mind
- 41:38Speaker 2: looking up the lyrics at Training Season by Dualiba. I
- 41:41Speaker 2: it that she like manifested this because in the lyrics
- 41:43Speaker 2: of Training Season, she's like, I need someone to hold
- 41:46Speaker 2: me close.
- 41:46Speaker 1: No, Naa, I need someone to hold me close, was
- 41:52Speaker 1: her manifesting.
- 41:53Speaker 4: You need someone to hold it close deeper than I've
- 41:55Speaker 4: ever known whose love feels like a rodeo knows just
- 41:58Speaker 4: how to take control when I'm vulnerable. He's straight talking
- 42:02Speaker 4: to my soul. Conversation overload got me feel in vertigo?
- 42:06Speaker 2: What enter Callum?
- 42:08Speaker 3: I need to marry a man named Callum Crazy?
- 42:16Speaker 2: No, it's it's it's a metaphor. You know, when you're
- 42:20Speaker 2: on a rodeo, you're care free, you're riding, you're whipping.
- 42:25Speaker 1: She's looking for someone to ride.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and guys, it's very obvious she manifested him in
- 42:32Speaker 2: this song.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I think she could have manifested a relationship with a man.
- 42:37Speaker 3: This looks like she's manifesting a relationship with an athlete. Yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 3: more than an actor.
- 42:42Speaker 1: A bull rider perhaps possibly maybe he rides bulls on
- 42:46Speaker 1: the side.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Well, anyways, I think they're actually getting married married like
- 42:50Speaker 2: this coming weekend. Well this is we saw photos of
- 42:53Speaker 2: the South Sarah.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's so chic. That outfit.
- 42:56Speaker 2: I know that hat. I could never Could you imagine
- 42:59Speaker 2: if I wore outfeel like that to my wedding festivies?
- 43:02Speaker 2: People would be like, get the out of here, Tanya.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I might need you to do it just for the
- 43:09Speaker 2: optic for could you imagine.
- 43:12Speaker 1: We're creating doing Colum's wedding photos.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Oh, maybe we could do as our Halloween costume. Yeah,
- 43:18Speaker 2: oh good one. That's really the only time it would
- 43:20Speaker 2: be appropriate for me to wear that.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Wait, okay, you want to talk about going to Paltrow
- 43:26Speaker 1: and Arugula and then Miami sun leak? Yeah? Did you
- 43:29Speaker 1: have deep thoughts on Miami some leeks?
- 43:31Speaker 2: Not really, but like I think I want to manifest
- 43:34Speaker 2: Miami Swim Week for myself. You did it, I know,
- 43:37Speaker 2: but like the Sports Illustrated one, Oh yeah, it looked
- 43:40Speaker 2: like all the like girlies just like doing their thing
- 43:44Speaker 2: and having so much.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Fun dancing with the people were out there.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Moura Higgins was out there, like our girl, Kristin Harper,
- 43:52Speaker 2: and like the normal Sports Illustrated like curlies. But then
- 43:55Speaker 2: I feel like they really were like bringing people in.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Bethany Frankel looks amazing.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Bethany Frankel was out there, Alona the Nator sister, Yeah, and.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Bestie more Higgins. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know, just you know,
- 44:12Speaker 1: you know, seeing that little video of Vow dancing with her,
- 44:15Speaker 1: she she's I think going to be better than I
- 44:19Speaker 1: originally thought, because she made it seem like she could
- 44:22Speaker 1: not move, and she looked very comfortable doing that little
- 44:24Speaker 1: spin dip move with him.
- 44:28Speaker 2: About that a lot? What I think you could do
- 44:32Speaker 2: the same thing if you had vowl twisting you around.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I don't think so. Oh really no, She looked the
- 44:38Speaker 1: way her back bent over his arm, her head like
- 44:41Speaker 1: almost touched the back of her lips.
- 44:43Speaker 2: He would teach you that, he would say, bend your
- 44:45Speaker 2: head back when I throw you over my arm, bend back.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I would get an injury.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And it looked very Yeah, she's nimble.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Wait, I needed to see him do it with you
- 44:55Speaker 1: to know how easy it is.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you, I think I could nail
- 44:58Speaker 2: that me too. To being honest, I think I could
- 45:02Speaker 2: crush it.
- 45:02Speaker 1: All right, so we're manifesting twenty twenty.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Seven Sports Illustrated.
- 45:08Speaker 1: All right, last year was Victoria's Secret. We've moved on?
- 45:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we're coming on really cute. Like it just
- 45:18Speaker 2: looked like a girly vibe, Like it looked like they
- 45:20Speaker 2: were like just being girls together, you know ory secret,
- 45:25Speaker 2: see together, Yeah, we were girls together. Victoria's Secret seems
- 45:28Speaker 2: like a little intimidating. Yeah, this one not so much.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I think walking in you're in a bikini on a
- 45:35Speaker 1: slippery runway in front of everybody, just in general. Sounds
- 45:38Speaker 1: for me intimidating, but you've done it.
- 45:40Speaker 2: It would tape sandpaper on the bottom of my feet
- 45:42Speaker 2: to make sure that they're really.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Put some surfboard waking.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, they are not slipping and slides.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I would do sure. Yeah, Jojo opened her or did
- 45:53Speaker 1: the cups? SHEI line, she looked amazing, amazing, so proud. Okay,
- 45:59Speaker 1: let's talk about.
- 46:01Speaker 2: My favorite thing on the internet, every favorite thing on
- 46:03Speaker 2: the internet.
- 46:06Speaker 4: We do one more break. You can talk as long
- 46:07Speaker 4: as you want, but otherwise we're up against it.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Fair we can do it. And then we'll talk about
- 46:12Speaker 1: seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo too.
- 46:15Speaker 4: And there's a really cute email from Jenna. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 4: so much.
- 46:18Speaker 1: We'll be back.
- 46:35Speaker 2: We're back, all right.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Gwyneth and her arugula.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Did you see this?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but set it up for people who didn't.
- 46:42Speaker 2: So Gwyneth Paltrow, mother of Goop and Apple and yeah
- 46:48Speaker 2: Apple and Moses. Oh yeah, yeah, let's not forget about Moses.
- 46:52Speaker 2: So she was on the Today Show and she was
- 46:54Speaker 2: doing some sort of cooking segment and they were making
- 46:56Speaker 2: meatballs and she says this one line and it caught
- 47:01Speaker 2: both of the Today Show hosts off guard. She was like,
- 47:05Speaker 2: if you're going for like a dairy free thing, just
- 47:08Speaker 2: toss them arugula in there.
- 47:11Speaker 1: And they both kind of like, huh, Like Savannah said,
- 47:14Speaker 1: that's weird. Yeah, Savana Gothrie, that's weird. Yeah.
- 47:19Speaker 2: But the comments section went off, and I when I
- 47:23Speaker 2: tell you, I couldn't stop reading those for like, I
- 47:25Speaker 2: kept going back days after to like read these comments,
- 47:28Speaker 2: like people basically saying, like, love me some a glass
- 47:31Speaker 2: of arugulo with my chocolate chip cookies and.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I'll try it in my coffee right now. Yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 1: when I don't have milk for my pancake mix, I
- 47:41Speaker 1: just add long clippings.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Why is this so funny to me?
- 47:48Speaker 1: Because the last thing I expected someone to say as
- 47:51Speaker 1: a dairy substitute was.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Like avocado maybe sometimes, or.
- 47:59Speaker 1: You can get free lacked.
- 48:01Speaker 2: But now I think I'm crazy because I did a
- 48:04Speaker 2: little like really thinking about this because a mother group
- 48:07Speaker 2: speaks to me, and when you when arugola is finally
- 48:15Speaker 2: crushed up, it does have a little bit of like
- 48:18Speaker 2: a thickness to it. It's not like iceberg. Lettuce. It's
- 48:21Speaker 2: got like a little bit of a milky texture.
- 48:25Speaker 3: So the specific she was adding parmesan cheese to meatballs
- 48:28Speaker 3: and say, if you want to avoid dairy, dice up arugula.
- 48:30Speaker 3: So that makes sense to me.
- 48:32Speaker 2: So we're going to try it. Rob and I are
- 48:35Speaker 2: going to try it.
- 48:36Speaker 1: But in meatballs. It makes sense, right because arugul is
- 48:39Speaker 1: kind of bitter and it's more on the salty of
- 48:42Speaker 1: side of things, so making.
- 48:43Speaker 2: More of the creaminess that I'm now like really understanding
- 48:48Speaker 2: what she meant.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Well, if anyone can do it, I believe it's Robbie.
- 48:51Speaker 1: And if anyone can convince himself that it's good, it's good.
- 48:56Speaker 2: So in case you're tired of the haters commenting, I'm
- 49:01Speaker 2: about to come beer taste Duster. No, I'm gonna like,
- 49:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna come to her rescue ballad and validate her. Yeah,
- 49:08Speaker 2: all right, pending tastes.
- 49:10Speaker 1: You'll say it's amazing because mother Goop, you want her approval?
- 49:14Speaker 2: Good, no sign?
- 49:17Speaker 1: Okay. So one of my favorite books of all time,
- 49:20Speaker 1: Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, is coming. Well, it's been
- 49:24Speaker 1: announced forever that's being made into a movie. Yes, and
- 49:27Speaker 1: they've gone back and forth, they had a director, they
- 49:29Speaker 1: dropped out. It's been a whole thing, but they have
- 49:31Speaker 1: announced that Anna Kendrick is going to be directing it.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Yes, you're bummed, Well, I just what is it about directed?
- 49:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 49:43Speaker 4: You feel like you're not in good hands. That's the problem.
- 49:45Speaker 1: I just feel it's such a spec like it just
- 49:47Speaker 1: it was the reason I one of the big reasons
- 49:49Speaker 1: I decided to come out when I did. It just
- 49:52Speaker 1: has a lot of weight on it. And I know,
- 49:54Speaker 1: like typically when you have a book adaptation, it's rarely
- 49:58Speaker 1: as good as the book. I feel like if you
- 50:00Speaker 1: can do a TV show, it has more of an
- 50:02Speaker 1: option because you have more time.
- 50:04Speaker 2: But a movie is so Amma. Kendrick doesn't give me
- 50:08Speaker 2: girls girl vibes, and I don't love that as like
- 50:14Speaker 2: somebody making a lot of decisions.
- 50:16Speaker 4: And Kendrick made her directorial debut with the twenty twenty
- 50:18Speaker 4: four crime thriller Woman of the Hour.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I didn't see it.
- 50:22Speaker 4: I saw Woman of the Hour, Well you see everything.
- 50:24Speaker 4: It was good.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Oh, what's it's about. The It's a true story about
- 50:28Speaker 3: this guy who was a serial killer and then he
- 50:30Speaker 3: ended up on like a newlywoed game. It's a great movie.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Oh great, so and it was like a thriller in
- 50:38Speaker 3: such sot.
- 50:40Speaker 1: To make, so she has experience that makes me feel better.
- 50:44Speaker 1: It just feels I am glad it's a woman. I
- 50:46Speaker 1: do feel I'm happy it's in the hands of a woman.
- 50:49Speaker 2: And imagine they gave it to like I don't know
- 50:53Speaker 2: any man directors.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Well, no, I feel like there's some good Yeah. I
- 50:58Speaker 1: do feel like there's some men who could create a
- 51:00Speaker 1: beautiful movie. But I think because of the storyline, you
- 51:03Speaker 1: want it to feel like a woman's touch. So that
- 51:06Speaker 1: makes me feel better.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Is she going to be in it too? I'm sorry
- 51:09Speaker 3: if I missed that.
- 51:10Speaker 4: Do we know?
- 51:11Speaker 1: I don't know, but I would not agree with that casting.
- 51:15Speaker 3: If so, she was in this other movie she did.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Started and directed.
- 51:21Speaker 1: So Evelyn Hugo in the book is a I think
- 51:24Speaker 1: she's a Latin American, but she's blonde, like a blonde
- 51:27Speaker 1: bombshell actress. So there does I would There was a
- 51:32Speaker 1: lot of people wanted Anna what's her name? The armis
- 51:38Speaker 1: the Armis. She was someone that people were wanting, but I.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Think she was attached to it at one point. Wasn't
- 51:44Speaker 2: she There's been a.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Lot of rumors and speculations around Carson was in the
- 51:49Speaker 1: and I asked her. I was like, are you evely
- 51:51Speaker 1: He no, but I've seen the rumors She's gonna lie
- 51:55Speaker 1: in my face. But I don't think she did. But
- 51:57Speaker 1: it is on Netflix, and Sophia Carson is Netflix are
- 52:00Speaker 1: Netflix movie? Yeah? It is? I can't. Yeah, Wow, I'm
- 52:07Speaker 1: just bombed. And I'm like, gosh, I don't know.
- 52:10Speaker 2: I just part of the Netflix movie.
- 52:12Speaker 1: No, I love. I wanted it to be a show
- 52:15Speaker 1: originally because I feel like they're gonna have to rush
- 52:16Speaker 1: through movie because it's it's seven husbands of they could
- 52:20Speaker 1: have done oh my gosh, yeah episodes and made each
- 52:22Speaker 1: one about each husband, really dug.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Their deals in and it seems like they're just.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Made. Yeah, we've been This has been on the cutting
- 52:34Speaker 1: board to cutting room floor for too long.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Jessica Chastein was rumored to be in it too, but
- 52:38Speaker 3: she said zero chain.
- 52:40Speaker 1: So yeah. The other girl is like a she's described
- 52:43Speaker 1: as like a redhead. So everyone listening Like Sadie sinc
- 52:46Speaker 1: who is in Taylor Swift's music video, I feel like
- 52:48Speaker 1: she'd be.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Like she's also in Stranger Things.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't watch Stranger Things.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Sadie Sink from Taylor Swift Music. Yeah, she's a big deal. Okay,
- 53:00Speaker 2: well sorry, I don't watch respect on that stage.
- 53:05Speaker 1: It's too scary. It's not Stranger Things.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Try me again, it's not.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm very weak. It's very like.
- 53:11Speaker 3: I'm cute.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I watch it.
- 53:14Speaker 3: It is cute.
- 53:14Speaker 4: I hear you should avoid back rooms.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Oh, back rooms and Obsession. I've been told do not.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Okay, wait, wait, actually I've seen Obsession twice. I saw
- 53:22Speaker 3: it the second time last night. I was I spent
- 53:25Speaker 3: all night trying to think of a way to say
- 53:26Speaker 3: this respectfully.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I like this.
- 53:28Speaker 3: It's so it's an incredible movie. There are elements of
- 53:32Speaker 3: Tanya I see in that movie. And I don't think
- 53:34Speaker 3: I don't think you will ever watch it because you
- 53:36Speaker 3: don't strike me as a horror film, as a horror fan.
- 53:39Speaker 3: But there are parts that are that I think you
- 53:42Speaker 3: would be delighted by.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Can you tell us because we haven't spoil.
- 53:47Speaker 3: I mean, the premise of the movie is there's a
- 53:49Speaker 3: young man who has a crush on his coworker and
- 53:52Speaker 3: she does not like him back, and he does a
- 53:54Speaker 3: little like novelty wish thing and says like I wish
- 53:57Speaker 3: you loved me more than anyone, and then she does
- 53:59Speaker 3: and he there's part there's parts she she descends into
- 54:06Speaker 3: madness because she is so obsessed with him, and there's
- 54:09Speaker 3: there's like a part where they're laying in bed together
- 54:10Speaker 3: and he's like, I'm gonna go to the bathroom and
- 54:12Speaker 3: she's like just screams stays like okay, an extremely exaggerated
- 54:22Speaker 3: version of you, the horror film version, like not reality.
- 54:27Speaker 3: But there are just parts that remind me of things
- 54:30Speaker 3: we exaggerate about you.
- 54:32Speaker 1: You know what I was thinking though on a less
- 54:35Speaker 1: slightly this song Orbiter by Noah Colin. Yeah, I really
- 54:41Speaker 1: like honed in on the I Stare at you part
- 54:43Speaker 1: MHM with Robbie. Did he listen to it and feel
- 54:47Speaker 1: seen by that?
- 54:49Speaker 2: No, he doesn't really listen to music. I mean he does,
- 54:53Speaker 2: like when he's in the car, but he's not like,
- 54:56Speaker 2: you know, tuning in and like analyzing the lyrics.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Haley will just drive in silence. When we first started dating,
- 55:00Speaker 1: I was psychotic because if she she either tries to
- 55:04Speaker 1: get do her phone calls during her or she'll just
- 55:07Speaker 1: sit in silence. Because she's always has something going on,
- 55:11Speaker 1: and when we first started dating, I was like, this
- 55:14Speaker 1: is concerning behavior.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so she is, Yeah to be concerned about you know, that's.
- 55:23Speaker 1: True, like someone not letting you go to the bathroom
- 55:26Speaker 1: at night. What you want?
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just sleeping my cocoons.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Wait one, we have one one?
- 55:39Speaker 8: You know?
- 55:39Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:41Speaker 4: Would you stop over there with your little face so hungry.
- 55:45Speaker 4: We were talking about the dogs recently and letting the
- 55:48Speaker 4: dogs out, the feet, the feet. Hello, Becka, Tania, Mark,
- 55:51Speaker 4: and Ethon. I'm a long time scrubber. I love hanging
- 55:53Speaker 4: out with you all on my drive to daycare and
- 55:55Speaker 4: to work. I put on shorts this weekend to go
- 55:57Speaker 4: to my in laws for dinner and had a heavy
- 55:59Speaker 4: internal debate whether or not I would let the dogs out.
- 56:01Speaker 4: If Tanya puts it so nicely, I had never had
- 56:04Speaker 4: this concern before listening to the podcast. I love being barefoot,
- 56:08Speaker 4: but I cracked under the pressure and I put socks on.
- 56:11Speaker 4: While we're at my in laws, I slipped on their
- 56:14Speaker 4: wooden stairs and sprained my toe. I've learned my lesson
- 56:19Speaker 4: on falling for peer pressure. For the rest of the summer,
- 56:21Speaker 4: I will be dogs out purple toe and all love
- 56:25Speaker 4: y'all your Canadian scrubber. Jenna. You sprained Jenna's toe, Tanya.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I'm so sorry, Jenna. That's true.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Socks are reliability.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Would shoes walk around with socks with have shoes on?
- 56:37Speaker 1: Isn't that what you do at home?
- 56:39Speaker 4: No?
- 56:40Speaker 1: What do you have on your feet?
- 56:41Speaker 2: I put socks? Then I put my house shoes on?
- 56:44Speaker 4: Howse shoes?
- 56:44Speaker 2: How shoes?
- 56:46Speaker 4: It's weird.
- 56:46Speaker 2: They like rubbery like crocks, but not crocs.
- 56:49Speaker 1: But you put socks on before your house shoes.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Slippers keep my feet warm.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Very warm. That's how are your slippers lined? No?
- 56:58Speaker 2: Oh, they're not. They're they're like rubber.
- 57:03Speaker 4: What do you wear in the house, Houston? Socks? As
- 57:06Speaker 4: do I? Becca?
- 57:09Speaker 1: I mean sometimes I'm just barefoot my slippers on with
- 57:12Speaker 1: no socks.
- 57:13Speaker 4: I think it socks or barefoot. I think those are
- 57:15Speaker 4: the options for inside your home.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Well, slippers are normal shoes.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Slippers, you were slippers all day. Let you were slippers
- 57:21Speaker 4: with your pajamas or when you first wake up.
- 57:23Speaker 2: In the They're not their house shoes.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Oh, these are. She's not talking about slippers like she's
- 57:29Speaker 1: talking about like a croc highbrid.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Yes, yes, but I only wear them inside my house.
- 57:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I think it's weird, but you have to have something
- 57:40Speaker 1: that has some grip on it because you have stairs
- 57:42Speaker 1: to wooden stairs slide down.
- 57:46Speaker 3: But if there's like a catastrophe like a fire or something,
- 57:49Speaker 3: you could just run out and be good.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Are now outdoors and they'd have to be thrown away?
- 57:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, you can wear them in the house,
- 57:59Speaker 2: my househoes in the backyard.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Ye, so much bacteria have you?
- 58:03Speaker 2: But they don't leave my house or the yard, the property,
- 58:06Speaker 2: the property.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, it's only sunny species that might get
- 58:10Speaker 1: on there.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Correct, it's not about it's not about cleanliness. It's just
- 58:15Speaker 2: about optics. They're like big, they're like size nine. Oh yeah,
- 58:22Speaker 2: and they're like rubber.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Shoes bacteria to hide.
- 58:26Speaker 4: I don't understand.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Well, we're so sorry for this decision you made, and
- 58:33Speaker 1: you should be able to let your dogs do I were.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I wear sandals all year round here and it's okay
- 58:43Speaker 1: to let the dogs for you, just not on an airplane. Yeah,
- 58:46Speaker 1: that's that's about.
- 58:48Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 58:48Speaker 1: And at work, I'm fine. I've worn sand sandals here
- 58:52Speaker 1: to do podcasts.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's different for you. You're yeah, you're just visiting.
- 58:58Speaker 1: You know, I'm only here for the limited time. You're
- 59:01Speaker 1: here for a.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Short time, not a fun time.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Good time.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well really before we go, just really quick.
- 59:10Speaker 4: That third break is really open enough.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Thing promise is really quick. I just went. I had
- 59:17Speaker 3: fly back from UH. I went to Sacramento on Friday
- 59:20Speaker 3: to record the Jonas Brothers, and coming back, I was saying, next.
- 59:24Speaker 4: The fourth Jonas brother.
- 59:26Speaker 2: They have a fourth brother.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Respectfully, he's not a Jonas brother, He's just a Jonas brother.
- 59:32Speaker 2: There was some respect on the name.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Okay, I've been on tour with them for the last month.
- 59:37Speaker 1: You kind of have.
- 59:38Speaker 3: I legitimately have UH. And we go to Mexico City,
- 59:42Speaker 3: Mexico City, Argentina, Vegas, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Sacramento and yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 3: I'm of a ya resort and spa in San Bernardino, California.
- 59:55Speaker 3: But I went to Sacramentary record them. And when I
- 59:57Speaker 3: was flying back, these two nice young ladies sat next
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: to me and I was working on my computer and
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: one of them says, oh, do you make music, And like, no,
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: it's a it's a podcast. And then she's like is
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: it scrubbing in and I was like, uh no, but
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: you listen to scrubbing in and it was two nice ladies,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Kate and Tyana, and uh they were from the Ventura area.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: They'd flown up to see the Jonas brothers, flew back
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: down and that was Kate's first concert ever. Whoa to
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: see the Jonas brothers. That blew my mind? But they
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: were so nice and I told him I would give
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: him a shout out because we had a really nice
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: plane ride coming.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Back to Burbank easton Who's your favorite Jonahs brother? Before
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: we go?
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: I was a nick guy for many years after doing
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: the podcast, I am far and away Joe Joe, I
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: really really like him. I find him so funny. I
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: find him so charming.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: He's like the.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Goofball of the brother.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: He makes me laugh a lot.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: On TikTok, he asked for a sound effects board, which
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: is not a request I've gotten from a podcast talent before.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: And I made him a little one and it has
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: a little pictures on it and he can play like
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: you know wanh want want things like that, and he
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: is so good with it. It's so funny, the timing
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: is so good. It's yeah, I I love him. Wow,
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: and I love the Jones brother Wow.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Maybe one day we'll get them on this podcast, but
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: until then, we'll be back Thursday with the dear Bon
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Yet and we hope you have a wonderful week. We
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: love you. May
