- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice Shooters, it's time he Welcome to the Naughty but Nicer.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and joining us every Wednesday
- 0:20Speaker 1: is our dear friend Donny Meacham.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Hey, Donnie, a you there?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Happy holidays, Happy holidays. Hello, Hello. I just want to say, Look,
- 0:26Speaker 3: the next time we will talk after this will be
- 0:29Speaker 3: twenty twenty four.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 0:30Speaker 3: It's been a great year, and it's been a great
- 0:32Speaker 3: year with the Nazis. And the thing is is, look,
- 0:35Speaker 3: we've done a lot of work. We've been a part
- 0:38Speaker 3: of a lot of shows, been a part of a
- 0:39Speaker 3: lot of things. And this audience, though, is one that
- 0:43Speaker 3: is it's special, it is special different.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It is special.
- 0:46Speaker 1: That's a really good way of putting it. We captured
- 0:49Speaker 1: lightning in a bottle here and it took us a while.
- 0:52Speaker 1: It just goes to show you the keys in the lock.
- 0:55Speaker 2: You just have to turn it.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We tried really hard to do a subscription radio show
- 1:00Speaker 1: and the show was really good. We just never got
- 1:02Speaker 1: the numbers we needed to financially pay for it. We
- 1:05Speaker 1: were losing money doing the show. So like any business,
- 1:08Speaker 1: after a certain amount of time, if you lose money,
- 1:10Speaker 1: you gotta close the door. And so we did not
- 1:13Speaker 1: know what was next, and then iHeart came along and
- 1:15Speaker 1: we started this podcast, and really pretty much right away
- 1:20Speaker 1: we knew it hit something really great. And the only
- 1:22Speaker 1: reason we can say that is because of you. Naughty's
- 1:25Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you. We're all going to
- 1:28Speaker 1: have an amazing twenty twenty four. Okay, let's jump into
- 1:32Speaker 1: the show. Our time is in, my friends, it is
- 1:34Speaker 1: tea time. Jennifer Amazon has posted a really cryptic, quite sad,
- 1:40Speaker 1: maybe even life affirming quote. People are saying that this
- 1:44Speaker 1: is because of Matthew Perry's death, So Jennifer, She's not
- 1:48Speaker 1: taken anything for granted this holiday season. The Friends alum
- 1:52Speaker 1: posted an inspirational message on Christmas Day, which was two
- 1:56Speaker 1: months after the tragic passing of her lifetime friend and
- 2:00Speaker 1: co star Matthew Perry. She wrote the following quote, have
- 2:04Speaker 1: you ever sat with yourself and thought about the concept
- 2:07Speaker 1: of life?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I have?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Time goes by fast, She wrote in capitals. You don't
- 2:14Speaker 1: get that back. Please go live, love hard. Let's go
- 2:19Speaker 1: of fear. That's important. Let go of fear, love yourself
- 2:23Speaker 1: and love the people around you. And then Jen adds
- 2:27Speaker 1: something that I think is so interesting. She writes, appreciate
- 2:32Speaker 1: the hardships, trust the process, feed your faith, and never
- 2:38Speaker 1: forget to feel. Life isn't that long. It certainly isn't.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:45Speaker 1: She doesn't mention Matthew in this post, but I think
- 2:48Speaker 1: clearly she is thinking about him, referencing him without saying
- 2:53Speaker 1: his name. Life is short, and sometimes it takes a
- 2:58Speaker 1: really tragic then for you to realize that. And I
- 3:01Speaker 1: think that's what she means when she says appreciate the hardship.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So I'm not saying for one second here that she
- 3:07Speaker 1: appreciates that Matthew has passed. However, she's going to use
- 3:11Speaker 1: that tragic incident and not not pretend it didn't happen.
- 3:15Speaker 1: She's going to acknowledge it, and it's going to change
- 3:17Speaker 1: the way that she moves forward, which I think is
- 3:20Speaker 1: really the big secret to winning at life.
- 3:23Speaker 3: What do you think, Donnie, Yeah, I mean it's beautiful here.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I will say, though, if twenty twenty three anything changed
- 3:30Speaker 3: in maybe all the Jennifer stories lately, is you Anniston?
- 3:34Speaker 3: You said Jennifer Aniston, you said it, and I was
- 3:38Speaker 3: literally in my head went, oh, I got it right,
- 3:40Speaker 3: did it?
- 3:41Speaker 1: I've been practicing I know a couple of the naughties.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Jennifer Gardener. That's another word. It's not gardener. She's not
- 3:47Speaker 1: a gardener, but it's gardener. Now I've been practicing on it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It takes me a moment, Like I know when I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: not doing something right, but my adjustment is not that quick.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I can take the note, I hear the note, but
- 3:58Speaker 1: it just takes me a moment. It's like when I
- 4:00Speaker 1: couldn't say Preanca chopra. Now I can just roll it
- 4:03Speaker 1: off my tongue. In fact, it's one of my favorite
- 4:04Speaker 1: names to say. You're not born this way, my friends.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's all learned. And the good news about that is
- 4:13Speaker 1: if you can learn it, you can unlearn it and
- 4:16Speaker 1: you can learn something new. So I'm not terribly good.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm a good communicator, but when it comes to names,
- 4:22Speaker 1: it's never really been my thing, and I have to
- 4:24Speaker 1: really think about it. And so whenever I say Jennifer,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I do take a moment. You know in your mind
- 4:29Speaker 1: when you pause, it's not out of fear, it's out
- 4:32Speaker 1: of wanting to get it right. So I do always
- 4:35Speaker 1: pause a little bit. Jennifer Ammerston. I love that she
- 4:39Speaker 1: is being more open for a long time. We've covered
- 4:41Speaker 1: celebrities done for years, for decades. Even she used to
- 4:45Speaker 1: be one of the most private. You couldn't get any
- 4:49Speaker 1: information out of her. Her friends were really private too,
- 4:52Speaker 1: so when you try to get saurces, she's one of
- 4:54Speaker 1: the hardest celebrities I've ever covered. My sources on her,
- 4:57Speaker 1: someon are really good and then they disappeared, some were
- 5:00Speaker 1: not so good, and they kept calling, and it is
- 5:02Speaker 1: really hard to break into her in a circle, which
- 5:05Speaker 1: I think is a real testament to how great she
- 5:07Speaker 1: is and really no pun intended, what a good friend
- 5:09Speaker 1: she is too. We do know she was a great
- 5:11Speaker 1: friend to Matthew, That's one thing that we do know.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's heartbreaking, but I think that she is talking bad
- 5:17Speaker 1: about it. I know from my insiders that she wants
- 5:21Speaker 1: to make sure his legacy is not one of just drugs.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It wants to be a fully rounded human legacy of
- 5:29Speaker 1: a fully rounded human being who had his demons, who
- 5:32Speaker 1: definitely had his demons and tried to fight them as
- 5:34Speaker 1: best as he could. But I think when we look
- 5:36Speaker 1: at the totality of this story, the good stuff the
- 5:39Speaker 1: bad stuff, I think we can figure it all out.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And Jenna certainly helped us do that, which brings us
- 5:44Speaker 1: to our whole question of the day. Jennifer has posted
- 5:47Speaker 1: quote A lifetime isn't long enough? A lifetime isn't long enough.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Our question is she talking about Matthew Perry?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 5:56Speaker 1: She doesn't mention his name, but is she talking about
- 5:59Speaker 1: Matthew Perry? Hey, go vote on our Twitter page at
- 6:03Speaker 1: naughty nice wellba Facebook page Naughty Simba. I am be
- 6:07Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey,
- 6:10Speaker 1: Donnie Love, what do you work it on?
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:13Speaker 3: Just a real quick if you think about it. Jennifer Hanniston,
- 6:16Speaker 3: she really was back in the nineties and two thousand.
- 6:18Speaker 3: She was the Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian when it
- 6:21Speaker 3: came to press, like the media wanted to know everything everything,
- 6:25Speaker 3: So that's why she was so guarded. And I don't
- 6:27Speaker 3: blame her a bit.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you're right now.
- 6:30Speaker 3: It's nice that she's coming out. Kanye West. Kanye West,
- 6:36Speaker 3: he actually done something that he doesn't normally do. He
- 6:39Speaker 3: apologized to the Jewish community in Hebrew after an unintended
- 6:44Speaker 3: anti Semitic outburst, so he shared the message was written
- 6:50Speaker 3: entirely in Hebrew. On Instagram in the final hours of
- 6:53Speaker 3: Christmas Day, he said, I sincerely apologize to the Jewish
- 6:56Speaker 3: community for any unintended outburst caused by my word or actions.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and
- 7:04Speaker 3: I deeply regret any pain that I may have caused.
- 7:08Speaker 1: He you know.
- 7:08Speaker 3: His message read, which was translated from Hebrew. I am
- 7:11Speaker 3: committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience
- 7:15Speaker 3: to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. He
- 7:19Speaker 3: concluded his message by you know, saying his forgiveness is
- 7:22Speaker 3: important and that he's committed to making amends. You know,
- 7:27Speaker 3: he went on an anti Semitic tier in Las Vegas
- 7:30Speaker 3: earlier this month. He ran it about you know, and
- 7:33Speaker 3: raved about Donald Trump, Jesus, and Adolph his Kanye, Kanye Kanye.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm actually gonna say this, like Kanye apologized, I think
- 7:43Speaker 3: that is something he doesn't normally do. Very big of him.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I will actually agree though, that Kanye also has demons
- 7:49Speaker 3: that he fights with, and I think he's one of
- 7:51Speaker 3: those people who he speaks first, thanks second, and then
- 7:57Speaker 3: after he speaks, he's as just wild things. I think
- 8:02Speaker 3: in the moment. Do I think he meant to hurt people?
- 8:04Speaker 3: Do I think he meant to, you know, attack people,
- 8:06Speaker 3: I personally don't do. I think he is one of
- 8:10Speaker 3: those people who could learn from Take a second, think
- 8:13Speaker 3: about what you're about to say before you.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Just say it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's a complicated one for me. The problem for me
- 8:21Speaker 1: is not only the evil stuff that he's saying that
- 8:25Speaker 1: some of his fans, his followers are listening to. It's
- 8:29Speaker 1: also that he's done it many, many times now. This
- 8:32Speaker 1: wasn't a one off incident. I think he's revealed what's
- 8:36Speaker 1: in his.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Heart, and his heart is not good.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And I do believe in forgiveness, and I do believe
- 8:42Speaker 1: in second chances, but this isn't a second chance. I
- 8:44Speaker 1: think it's a fourth, or fifth, maybe a sixth chance.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I think at this point, for me, your actions are
- 8:49Speaker 1: going to speak louder than your words. And I'll keep
- 8:51Speaker 1: a very close eye. And I hope that Kanye doesn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: have a relapse and in a couple of months start
- 8:56Speaker 1: saying these really ugly things at a game. The world's
- 8:59Speaker 1: in a real difficult place, and I think having somebody
- 9:02Speaker 1: as powerful as Kanye West to say such as hateful
- 9:05Speaker 1: things about a community is something that I don't know
- 9:10Speaker 1: if I can forgive. And I want to have a
- 9:12Speaker 1: heartful of forgiveness, But does it make me a sucker?
- 9:15Speaker 2: Am I a sucker?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Like?
- 9:16Speaker 1: Is saying sorry just washing away all your horrible sins?
- 9:21Speaker 1: Like You've got to believe it, And I don't know
- 9:24Speaker 1: if I believe that he believes it. And the fact
- 9:26Speaker 1: that he did it in Hebrew. He does not speak Hebrew,
- 9:28Speaker 1: he doesn't write Hebrew. So somebody translated this for him.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Maybe that person even wrote it themselves and translated it
- 9:37Speaker 1: for him. Then to talk about I'm not quite quite
- 9:41Speaker 1: there yet. I don't want to completely write people. If
- 9:44Speaker 1: I don't when somebody apologizes, I think, I think you
- 9:47Speaker 1: have to give them another chance. But how many chances here, Kanye?
- 9:51Speaker 1: And maybe this was done because your careers fell apart.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You have no endorsement deals, You've lost your music career
- 9:58Speaker 1: because of this. People don't want any part of your
- 10:00Speaker 1: and so maybe that's the reason I think the reason
- 10:03Speaker 1: he's doing this does matter. I'd love to ask him
- 10:06Speaker 1: why now, what happened? Did you see the light? Why
- 10:09Speaker 1: did you figure out about Adolph Hitler that you didn't
- 10:11Speaker 1: know before, and why didn't you know that? Why didn't
- 10:14Speaker 1: you know that? It's a really complicated one, but let's
- 10:17Speaker 1: in the Christmas spirit, except that Kanye wants to is
- 10:22Speaker 1: trying to do better. Okay, this is a lovely story.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Prince William and Kate have released another Christmas card. This
- 10:30Speaker 1: one Louis has all his fingers on it. Remember that
- 10:33Speaker 1: controversy The last card Louis had looked like he had
- 10:35Speaker 1: a finger missing. So they've released the new card and
- 10:37Speaker 1: they're not in it. It's just the three kids. So
- 10:39Speaker 1: they delighted their fans on Christmas Day by putting out
- 10:42Speaker 1: the card. It's George, who's now ten, Charlotte as little Louis,
- 10:45Speaker 1: who is five. They're sitting on a bench smiling. It's
- 10:48Speaker 1: a black and white photograph. It was taken by Joss Sinner,
- 10:52Speaker 1: not their mom. Their mom is an amazing photographer, but
- 10:54Speaker 1: this is a professional photograph. The caption said, wishing everybody
- 10:57Speaker 1: a Merry Christmas from our family to yours. Oh it's adorable.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Now are they doing this to take a little bit
- 11:04Speaker 1: of the heat of the embarrassment of the photo fail?
- 11:07Speaker 1: It was quite quite a disaster. Something was wrong with
- 11:10Speaker 1: that first card. I mean, Louis definitely had a figure missing.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It might have been tucked under or are they doing
- 11:15Speaker 1: this because they figured out this is how they keep
- 11:18Speaker 1: themselves in the spotlight. That's part of their job. I'm
- 11:21Speaker 1: not saying that as a negative thing here. And who
- 11:23Speaker 1: could not love a Christmas card? A holiday card of
- 11:27Speaker 1: these three beautiful, beautiful children. I loved this card, and
- 11:32Speaker 1: I think I like the fact that William mckayter are
- 11:34Speaker 1: not in it. I like just the three kids.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Where are you on it? Don't they?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Oh it's beautiful, I think though, I'm with you, Like
- 11:40Speaker 3: who looked at the first card and was like the
- 11:45Speaker 3: first picture and was like, I mean, you have an
- 11:48Speaker 3: entire team around you.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Nobody went right?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Kids missing a finger?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Right?
- 11:53Speaker 3: Nobody really? Even Louis didn't look at it, because that
- 11:55Speaker 3: kid is smart and he's on everything. He would have
- 11:58Speaker 3: been like, Mom, I'm missing a finger. I love this,
- 12:00Speaker 3: It's beautiful. You know, we receive every year, I receive,
- 12:03Speaker 3: you know, a plethora of cards with you know, these
- 12:06Speaker 3: photos of them, and most of them are of just
- 12:09Speaker 3: the kids. The parents are usually not in the photos.
- 12:11Speaker 3: And for me, it's just I find that more special
- 12:15Speaker 3: because each year the kids are growing up, the kids
- 12:18Speaker 3: are a year older, and to see just a change
- 12:21Speaker 3: in them, to me is it's great. It has more
- 12:23Speaker 3: of a meaningful.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just great.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And I think when Kate's in a picture or the
- 12:26Speaker 1: future king, that's who you look at, even when these
- 12:30Speaker 1: are royalty themselves, and so I think taking them out
- 12:34Speaker 1: of the picture, it's like if Ben and j Loo
- 12:36Speaker 1: take themselves out of their picture, you get to look
- 12:38Speaker 1: at the kids. And so I think it's really focusing
- 12:40Speaker 1: attention on these three wonderful, adorable little children. Hey, I
- 12:45Speaker 1: haven't received my card in the mail yet, but I'm
- 12:47Speaker 1: still hoping it's on its way. Donna, you have another
- 12:50Speaker 1: brilliant story about Kate Middleton, but this one involves a
- 12:54Speaker 1: very special person, Dolly Parton.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yes, so the Queen of country music wanted the future
- 13:02Speaker 3: Queen Kate Middleton. So Dolly Parton wanted Kate Middleton to
- 13:06Speaker 3: know why she declined her tea and attention. So you know, look,
- 13:11Speaker 3: if Kate Middleton invited me and you robbed a t Yes, Hello,
- 13:15Speaker 3: sorry rob a Kinton podcast podcast, We're going to we
- 13:20Speaker 3: got tea fans. Well, apparently Kate invited Dolly, but Dolly
- 13:24Speaker 3: wanted to make sure that she knew why she wasn't
- 13:27Speaker 3: able to do it, So she sat down with BBC
- 13:29Speaker 3: Radio two and she goes, look this time, Lordie, I
- 13:34Speaker 3: even got invited to have tea with Kate Middleton, and
- 13:36Speaker 3: I felt so bad I couldn't even go and had
- 13:39Speaker 3: all this stuff set up. But then she joked she
- 13:42Speaker 3: wasn't going to promote my rock out part, so I
- 13:46Speaker 3: had to say no. So she went on to say, look,
- 13:49Speaker 3: she was only there for one day, and she had
- 13:51Speaker 3: a full day of press, and she looked she's a
- 13:54Speaker 3: worker a rock album.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Look, if Kate Middleton would have said we're gonna sit
- 13:59Speaker 3: down have tea, you put the album front and center
- 14:02Speaker 3: and then you see a rock song minute we talk
- 14:05Speaker 3: about it Dolly, I'll.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Go yeah, Dolly, business woman. She's so smart. I love
- 14:12Speaker 1: that she's been honest about it too.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I'm too busy. I'm selling my album. I don't have
- 14:15Speaker 2: time for tea. Now.
- 14:16Speaker 1: If you want to help me sell my album, then
- 14:18Speaker 1: we'll get you into the schedule. Dolly's only there for
- 14:20Speaker 1: twenty four hours. Her priority is this album. I love
- 14:23Speaker 1: that she's being so honest about this. She did go
- 14:25Speaker 1: on to say that hopefully down the road, next time
- 14:28Speaker 1: she's in Britain, she'll be able to meet with Kate.
- 14:30Speaker 1: She's a huge fan of hers and the royal family.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But this is just lovely.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It is so Dolly, It is just so her that
- 14:39Speaker 1: it made me smile and giggled. Meanwhile, the rock album
- 14:42Speaker 1: didn't need Kate Middleton. It sold really well. Donny Dolly
- 14:47Speaker 1: had another top ten hit with this album.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I bought it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: It is fantastic. If you love Dolly Parton, if you
- 14:53Speaker 1: love rock and roll, well you will love, love, love
- 14:56Speaker 1: this album. Kate Middleton, go out and get a copy.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I wish them more did promote stuff they don't. They
- 15:02Speaker 1: would never hold up at an album or a book
- 15:04Speaker 1: or a movie poster. It's just not what they do.
- 15:07Speaker 1: They're almost and to it. But I do think had
- 15:10Speaker 1: Dolly turned up at the Palace and there had been
- 15:12Speaker 1: a photograph of them getting tea, even if it didn't
- 15:15Speaker 1: include the album, it would have made the covers of
- 15:17Speaker 1: all the newspapers, and that in turn would have I think,
- 15:21Speaker 1: helped sell more records. So we're going to take a
- 15:25Speaker 1: quick break and we'll be right back, Welcome back to
- 15:28Speaker 1: the middle, the n shomb shout a idea for end
- 15:30Speaker 1: Donnie meet them, Hey, Donnie, let's get to the polls.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Last show, we talked about Taylor Swift celebrating Christmas Day
- 15:36Speaker 1: with her mom and Travis Kelsey at one of his games.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So when you take your mom on Christmas Day to
- 15:43Speaker 1: watch your boyfriend play football, it is serious.
- 15:47Speaker 2: They are moving fast.
- 15:49Speaker 1: They've only been together a couple of months and now
- 15:51Speaker 1: spending Christmas Day with her boyfriend and her mom. My
- 15:54Speaker 1: question was, do you think Taylor is moving too fast?
- 15:57Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Ooh four percent said yes, it's
- 16:01Speaker 1: too fast. I like it. She's in her thirties, she's
- 16:04Speaker 1: had some failed relationships, stuff that hasn't worked out. I
- 16:08Speaker 1: think she's found the one. I don't know if you
- 16:10Speaker 1: can ever move too fast if it's the one.
- 16:13Speaker 2: And I think this is the one. Where are you
- 16:15Speaker 2: on it, Donna?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Look? I think I'm always a big proponent of is
- 16:21Speaker 3: there such thing as too fast? Maybe, but also like
- 16:24Speaker 3: just follow your heart, And Taylor seems to be following
- 16:26Speaker 3: her heart here and makes she get hurt. She might
- 16:30Speaker 3: in the entry, but she's enjoying herself. Now, Yes, this
- 16:35Speaker 3: is important.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yes, I moved really fast when I met Bruce for
- 16:39Speaker 1: in twenty four hours. I know, I know, and I
- 16:42Speaker 1: wouldn't let him be I know twenty five. I went
- 16:45Speaker 1: very slow for twenty four hours, very very calm and collected,
- 16:49Speaker 1: but would.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Have made my bod Are you fast or slow? Donna?
- 16:55Speaker 3: Look, I think this is to be honest. Actually, just
- 16:57Speaker 3: talking about this with my friend yesterday, is as you
- 16:59Speaker 3: get older and you know Taylors under thirties, now is
- 17:03Speaker 3: you know, the timeline shifts because you're just like I
- 17:07Speaker 3: don't I don't have a lot of time. I don't
- 17:09Speaker 3: waste time, and you're like, I'm busy. I don't you know,
- 17:13Speaker 3: I'm not. I can't stay up on Tuesday night until
- 17:16Speaker 3: two am at the bar with you, like I have
- 17:17Speaker 3: to go to bed because I have to go to
- 17:18Speaker 3: work in the morning. So are we gonna do this
- 17:21Speaker 3: or not? Like? What are we gonna do? Are we meeting?
- 17:23Speaker 3: Are we not meeting? Are we hanging out? Are we
- 17:25Speaker 3: not hanging out? Are we together?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Are we not to get you got to make an effort?
- 17:28Speaker 3: Timeline shortens.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you've got to make an effort. You've got to
- 17:31Speaker 2: make an effort.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Oh I love this, don't forget to vote on today's
- 17:33Speaker 1: poul Well got to my Twitter page at naughty Nice
- 17:35Speaker 1: rob or a Facebook page which is naughty gossa ban.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And now I love this one too. It's time for
- 17:43Speaker 1: our nicest of the day.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 17:47Speaker 3: We even Mendez made an effort.
- 17:49Speaker 2: She did.
- 17:50Speaker 3: She gave a shout out to write and Glossling and
- 17:53Speaker 3: it was full of energy. The two of these. There's
- 17:57Speaker 3: times where I actually forget even mid days and Ryan Garson, Yes,
- 18:02Speaker 3: they want that, and then stuff like this.
- 18:04Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my god, yeah for a long time.
- 18:07Speaker 2: A decade.
- 18:09Speaker 3: For decades, right, yeah, almost a decade.
- 18:11Speaker 2: It's a decade.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, long time. So she posted a video of Ryan
- 18:17Speaker 3: Gastling and it was him performing a Christmas theme version
- 18:20Speaker 3: of iron Skin from the movie Babe, and she went
- 18:24Speaker 3: on to say, so grateful to Mark Ronson forgetting my
- 18:26Speaker 3: man to make more music. When I first heard Ryan,
- 18:29Speaker 3: seeing my heart exploded more Ryan in Ronson musica adorable.
- 18:37Speaker 3: So she loves hearing him singing, and I think we
- 18:39Speaker 3: were all kind of, you know, pleasantly surprised.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It's great.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It's great, and he's funny and a curious button and
- 18:45Speaker 1: nicest the day, and then I noticed the day. Kelly
- 18:48Speaker 1: Clarkson's ex husband, Brandon Blackstock, has been ordered to return
- 18:52Speaker 1: two point six million dollars after he overcharged her when
- 18:55Speaker 1: he was her manager, So he has to give back
- 18:57Speaker 1: the money. A California labor commissioner has decided that he
- 19:02Speaker 1: owes her over two point six million dollars that he
- 19:07Speaker 1: took from her.
- 19:08Speaker 2: He thinks, or he claims, that.
- 19:10Speaker 1: He booked gigs for her on the Voice Norwegian Cruises,
- 19:14Speaker 1: the furniture store that she represents on the Billboard Awards,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and they said, ah, actually only talent agents, not managers,
- 19:21Speaker 1: can secure that type of employment for their clients, So
- 19:25Speaker 1: give it back.
- 19:26Speaker 2: You know a big picture here. I don't like it.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Don't make your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your husband, Joe, if
- 19:33Speaker 1: your manager, don't work with people that you love, it
- 19:37Speaker 1: never works out. I think when I worked for Jessica
- 19:39Speaker 1: Simpson and her dad Joe Simpson was involved and just
- 19:43Speaker 1: he shouldn't have had that job. He wasn't qualified. If
- 19:45Speaker 1: I really love you, you won't be my manager. That's
- 19:48Speaker 1: how much I believe in our love. I don't need
- 19:51Speaker 1: to buy you. I don't need to give you the
- 19:53Speaker 1: title of being my manager to secure our love. It
- 19:56Speaker 1: makes me really sad, and it's a lesson for all. Okay,
- 20:00Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of rub you got rub,
- 20:02Speaker 1: you rub, you get a rub. The positive always needs nurturing,
- 20:06Speaker 1: because evolution has let us believe the negative voice much more.
- 20:12Speaker 1: The negative voice wins if you think about it. If
- 20:15Speaker 1: you have something in your mind, a little voice Donnie
- 20:17Speaker 1: in your mind telling you something nice, and a little
- 20:19Speaker 1: voice in your mind telling you something nasty, you're probably
- 20:21Speaker 1: gonna listen to the nasty. Any gardener knows that weeds
- 20:25Speaker 1: grow faster than flowers.
- 20:27Speaker 2: They do.
- 20:27Speaker 1: It's just the fact of life. That negative voice is
- 20:30Speaker 1: a weed. The positive voice is a flower. The positive
- 20:34Speaker 1: voice just needs an ally, and that ally needs.
- 20:37Speaker 2: To be you.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Bend towards bend towards the positive, nourish, nurture the positive,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and pull out that negative weed. Hey, that's it for today.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to They're Not Aughty
