- 0:03Speaker 1: Check it out.
- 0:03Speaker 2: But Joe Willgan experience Train My Day, Joe.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Podcast by night, all day, What's worth Yeah, front of
- 0:16Speaker 1: the heck. Part of it was rolling Adam Ray my man. Uh,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Guests of the Year. Kill Tony, how's it feel?
- 0:23Speaker 3: It feels great?
- 0:24Speaker 1: You get a belt or anything, some sort of I
- 0:26Speaker 1: should have.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Some sort of a cop Tony always short changing the gifts, motherfucker.
- 0:31Speaker 3: That was the last time I saw you.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I think jacket that's what it should be. That's not
- 0:35Speaker 1: a great idea, that's a great idea.
- 0:36Speaker 4: We made these for the end of the Phil Doctor
- 0:38Speaker 4: Phil Tour, which, by the way, we have our very
- 0:41Speaker 4: last one at the Wilter Are on December sixteenth.
- 0:42Speaker 1: If anyone ever had Doctor Phil on as a guest, yes,
- 0:45Speaker 1: remember for the Netflix That's right, yeah, Yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 3: It was so funny. We were in the green room.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I met him like an hour before and he goes,
- 0:53Speaker 4: He goes, now, it's your show, but I'm gonna fok
- 0:56Speaker 4: with you, and I'm dressed as him, and I go, well,
- 0:58Speaker 4: I know you better than you know yourself.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Other fuckers to strap in and he was like, oh shit.
- 1:02Speaker 4: And he was dying laughing. But the last time I
- 1:05Speaker 4: saw you. I think I was Tony right right, the
- 1:06Speaker 4: mother Ship.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah. The difference is like doing it on your show
- 1:10Speaker 1: when you're doing the Doctor Phil show. Yeah, yeah, that's
- 1:12Speaker 1: a different thing.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I felt oddly.
- 1:15Speaker 4: You know, the whole show is improvised, So it's a
- 1:17Speaker 4: wild thing to do an unscripted show with somebody you
- 1:21Speaker 4: have no rapport with, right when.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I've had and you're doing an impression of him totally.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So I'm trying to go.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I think everything I'm gonna do is hunky dory with him,
- 1:31Speaker 4: but like, I don't know if I'm gonna press the
- 1:33Speaker 4: wrong button. Like at one point, I think we say
- 1:36Speaker 4: he said something where I go. I go, well, marriage
- 1:38Speaker 4: is tough, I go, but we keep it fish in
- 1:40Speaker 4: the bedroom, right, And he goes, okay, well you watch yourself.
- 1:43Speaker 3: And I got it's like we don't use butt plugs.
- 1:47Speaker 3: But he was he was such a he rolled with everything. Man.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It's good friends with his son Jordan Jay.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got to.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Know Jordan, who kind of helped facilitate the whole thing.
- 1:57Speaker 4: He kind of got in his ear and was like,
- 2:00Speaker 4: this thing is pretty awesome and it's making you, you.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Know, making both of them favorite totally and not.
- 2:07Speaker 4: And I'm just glad that because you never know, like
- 2:10Speaker 4: I could have two days in Gotten, which just like easily.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I actually entered the Netflix special with showing his signed
- 2:20Speaker 4: contract like to the camera being like, look, no season,
- 2:23Speaker 4: says but you know, you never know.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But it's he's heard he's a really good guy.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah, and laughing at yourself is such a man. I'm
- 2:32Speaker 4: you know, saying like it. I start talking about this
- 2:34Speaker 4: on stage where it's just like the people that I
- 2:37Speaker 4: am friends with that like that, that aren't comics that
- 2:41Speaker 4: I'll be in, you know, hangs with that like if I,
- 2:43Speaker 4: you know, bust their balls and they get.
- 2:45Speaker 3: A little weird about it.
- 2:46Speaker 4: It's like, oh, man, like you're a bummer, not only
- 2:48Speaker 4: for right now in the hang, but just this bleeds
- 2:50Speaker 4: into other facets of your life. You gotta be being
- 2:53Speaker 4: self deprecating and you know, within context obviously, if someone's
- 2:56Speaker 4: just you know, you know, just making funny, you know,
- 2:59Speaker 4: and me just being mean, there's a difference.
- 3:01Speaker 1: This is a difference to me and mean and being funny.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 4: But like Tony for example, like doing Tony on Kill Tony.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I remember I was in Portland or in Eugena my
- 3:09Speaker 4: buddy's club, Olson Run Comedy Club. Shoutout great club, and
- 3:12Speaker 4: I'm there and I tell the story about how Shane
- 3:15Speaker 4: and I the Biden Trump thing came together because a
- 3:18Speaker 4: buddy of mine asked me, he's like, you and Shane must
- 3:20Speaker 4: you have been best friends like ten years ago. We
- 3:23Speaker 4: literally that was probably the sixth time we've ever talked
- 3:25Speaker 4: to each other. So we're getting to know each other
- 3:26Speaker 4: in full makeup for two plus hours. That's a weird
- 3:28Speaker 4: way to build a fucking friendship.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And so I had you guys are so good at
- 3:32Speaker 1: bouncing off of crowds and off of each other. It
- 3:35Speaker 1: was seamless, right. It was really fun.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah, there's something cool about jumping in the bit boat
- 3:39Speaker 4: with somebody that's just like, oh, I just want to
- 3:41Speaker 4: make the other person laugh. Yeah, Like I got comfy
- 3:43Speaker 4: because he's Shane. He'd been nice about the Phil stuff,
- 3:46Speaker 4: but like you know, he he was definitely established as
- 3:49Speaker 4: Shane Gillis. So it's like and it's Trump and Biden's
- 3:51Speaker 4: trying to find I'm trying to find my ways to
- 3:54Speaker 4: be a sniper when he's not known for being funny,
- 3:57Speaker 4: but as soon as I got out there and I
- 3:58Speaker 4: had the frozen eyes and I was like, and Shane
- 4:00Speaker 4: started to break out. That made me feel really comfortable
- 4:02Speaker 4: when Shane I couldn't keep it together. But so why
- 4:05Speaker 4: this kid in line at the meet and greet goes,
- 4:07Speaker 4: you should do Tony on kill Tony because I tell
- 4:09Speaker 4: the story of how Tony was like, Shane's gonna do Trump,
- 4:12Speaker 4: you gotta do Biden. I bought a new vest. It's
- 4:14Speaker 4: going down, baby, you know I do all that. And
- 4:16Speaker 4: the guy's like, you should do Tony and I was like,
- 4:19Speaker 4: I kind of scoffed it off, and then I texted
- 4:21Speaker 4: him and I said, what would you think about me
- 4:23Speaker 4: dressing up as you?
- 4:24Speaker 3: And he just texted her back in all caps. Absolutely,
- 4:28Speaker 3: it'll be your best character yet.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But while we're doing this, unfortunately people can't see anything,
- 4:35Speaker 1: so you know, they just see us.
- 4:37Speaker 3: That's right.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I want to show okay, because it's so crazy how
- 4:41Speaker 1: close you get to him. It's kind of eerie, Like
- 4:45Speaker 1: I didn't see it any how. Your face structure changed. Yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 1: like you look like a different person. It's like you
- 4:50Speaker 1: had become Tony. Like you do a weird thing when
- 4:53Speaker 1: you do characters like you, you oddly become that person.
- 4:57Speaker 3: They give me some volume of this beginning.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Yeah, oh my god, did Who's ready for the best
- 5:17Speaker 5: fucking night of their lives?
- 5:24Speaker 3: Bro, It's like you've got a different face.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, well you did something weird, you did something weird.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 4: They taped my ears back a little bit to push
- 5:32Speaker 4: his ears out, and then the teeth are the same.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I just got the closed out the hair. I mean,
- 5:37Speaker 4: did you look oddly like him?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:38Speaker 1: It's wild less like you than him. Yeah, I would
- 5:41Speaker 1: think that's more Tony hinchcliff On an Adam Ray impersonation.
- 5:44Speaker 3: You know, it was the best is uh? Whatdy?
- 5:49Speaker 4: Harrelson was there that night and comes up to me
- 5:52Speaker 4: after and he's like, uh.
- 5:54Speaker 3: He's like, man, He's like that shit was fucking crazy.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Man.
- 5:57Speaker 4: He's like, I don't know what was going on or
- 5:59Speaker 4: what you had to do. Was I watched the into
- 6:01Speaker 4: a bunch. I've known Tony since we both started, and
- 6:03Speaker 4: he goes, you can't got a little Johnny Depp going
- 6:05Speaker 4: on with their things. So then I started going, I
- 6:07Speaker 4: go Woody, I go maybe I am Joni, Maybe I'm
- 6:09Speaker 4: Jonny playing Tony.
- 6:10Speaker 3: And then he was like, what the fuck me?
- 6:13Speaker 1: You should totally do that. Johnny is the pirate That's
- 6:16Speaker 1: not a bad idea, it's a fucking great idea. I
- 6:18Speaker 1: just heard your one hundred full pirate guards just come out.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Jack Sparrow a big fan of hons Kim ho m.
- 6:28Speaker 4: That's a great hundred percent. It has to be done. Yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 4: real understated, but r B done. Wowka that is your
- 6:35Speaker 4: next big carol. Oh my god, oh my god.
- 6:37Speaker 1: The Amber Herd jokes are endless.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Oh my god, endless. Well, oh my god. I was
- 6:42Speaker 3: just like, Swell, what sort of a pocket.
- 6:44Speaker 1: He pull from the kind of cocaine?
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and maybe every time he likes somebody he goes,
- 6:49Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you the joony bracelet of approval and
- 6:52Speaker 4: he gives him like a bracelet idea.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Wow, Joe, all right, perfect character for you.
- 7:01Speaker 3: People have pitched me to do.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You should have a treasure chest filled with cocaine.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The podcast we can save it or no.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Way, this is a treasure that filled with coke. Oh
- 7:11Speaker 1: my god, bring out a chessure chest filled with baby powder,
- 7:13Speaker 1: just probably ten pounds of baby powder.
- 7:15Speaker 4: And just in between instead of Heidi bringing out drinks,
- 7:18Speaker 4: he brings me bags of coke, and I was just.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Bumping line fucking full treasure.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Chess so funny.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, parrot a real parrot, no, no real pair.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I would probably freak out and have a hard time.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah we did.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I did, just Uh So I tried to this new
- 7:34Speaker 4: character called Bruce Robbins at the Comedy Stories like a
- 7:36Speaker 4: mentalist magician and it's going to drop in my YouTube
- 7:39Speaker 4: in a couple of weeks. And I rented an owl
- 7:42Speaker 4: for twelve hundred bucks, a like Harlan said. He knew
- 7:45Speaker 4: the type of owl. Harlan was on the show too,
- 7:47Speaker 4: a Eurasian I think owl. He said, it's the biggest owl.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Whoa this thing was. So the whole bit was his character,
- 7:53Speaker 4: Bruce Robinson's got like a big blonde cooff, big bug
- 7:56Speaker 4: ta you think, you know, kind of from the South,
- 7:57Speaker 4: talks like this real fast, you know, and you know
- 7:59Speaker 4: I'm a magician. I'm a former real estate agent too,
- 8:02Speaker 4: but you know magic is my healing power. And so
- 8:05Speaker 4: the bit was bringing out this owl that was like
- 8:06Speaker 4: a psychic owl, and so people would ask it questions.
- 8:09Speaker 4: But I had my buddy, who does a really good
- 8:10Speaker 4: Morgan Freeman do voiceover, So then I would hold the
- 8:13Speaker 4: mic up to the owl's face and then you would
- 8:16Speaker 4: play the Morgan Freeman so like somebody goes, uh, you
- 8:19Speaker 4: know how many uh? Or is somebody asked is democracy?
- 8:23Speaker 3: You know? Is democracy ruined? Or are we going to
- 8:25Speaker 3: save it in this country?
- 8:26Speaker 4: And we had a bunch of canned responses, and so
- 8:28Speaker 4: then I go, Archie, what do you think about Archie
- 8:30Speaker 4: the psychic cowl?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Is Democracy's gonna be saved to ruin?
- 8:33Speaker 4: And then you just hear Morgan Freeman go gay, I go,
- 8:37Speaker 4: thanks for thanks, any other questions we got, you know,
- 8:40Speaker 4: but a real parrot for johned up would be wild
- 8:43Speaker 4: maybe or maybe I don't fake.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't think parrots would enjoy that probably be animal cruelty.
- 8:47Speaker 3: It probably would.
- 8:48Speaker 1: The large crowd of people screaming, what your.
- 8:50Speaker 3: What's your creature? You know?
- 8:52Speaker 4: Do you have any has anyone brought what's the craziest
- 8:54Speaker 4: thing someone's brought into the Mothership for like a.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Just like an animal? No one's ever brought an animal.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I'm just all trying to say.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Paula brings his dog sometimes, but he's got sweet dog. Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 1: And John Ron's brought his dog a bunch of times's
- 9:06Speaker 1: got a cute little dog.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm trying to think that when we did
- 9:08Speaker 4: a Doctor Phil at the mother Ship, we didn't have
- 9:10Speaker 4: too many.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Crazy worked with Eliza. Yeah, we did a game show.
- 9:15Speaker 1: She might hold her dog used to make just like
- 9:18Speaker 1: give you a dog before she goes on stage, dog
- 9:21Speaker 1: and be like Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I know, and thank god. It's always the people that
- 9:24Speaker 3: love dogs.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I've held multiple dogs of hers over the years, you know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: because dogs die. Oh yeah, she gets a new one, bro,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I she got that new one with the scars around
- 9:33Speaker 1: her nose where she was one of those dogs that
- 9:36Speaker 1: they were I mean, who knows what the fuck they
- 9:38Speaker 1: were going.
- 9:39Speaker 3: To do to it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but they had it's it's it's face bound. I
- 9:42Speaker 1: think she got it from China.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Wow, Yeah she did, Yeah, because I think she calls
- 9:46Speaker 4: it like funk.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Shoo, yeah, something they might be closed something like that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: She which is so.
- 9:55Speaker 3: She's just racist, very racist.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Couldn't have gone with like Albert or Jill bro you
- 9:59Speaker 4: ever on Blue Sky?
- 10:01Speaker 3: What's that?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Blue Sky is like the ultra super liberal Twitter for
- 10:04Speaker 1: people like twitters filled with Nazis and they ran over
- 10:07Speaker 1: to Blue Sky.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Uh.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Some guy wrote I'm just trying to be zen about it,
- 10:12Speaker 1: and then someone under that wrote, how about tried not
- 10:15Speaker 1: to be racist against Asians?
- 10:18Speaker 3: Wow, that's I don't like that.
- 10:21Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 10:23Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That was one of the wildest like reaches I've ever
- 10:26Speaker 1: seen in my life.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Zen is a is one of the best words to
- 10:29Speaker 4: describe being how tranquil or serene, right is another one.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Zen in the art of motorcycle repair. God damn zen
- 10:37Speaker 1: in the art of archery.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I was just talking about how my dogs are my
- 10:40Speaker 4: like zen happy place, which, by.
- 10:42Speaker 1: The way, imagine thinking that saying that is racist.
- 10:45Speaker 3: That's bananas.
- 10:46Speaker 1: But that's how crazy this is. Like what you're dealing
- 10:49Speaker 1: with with humans out there. Some people are just off
- 10:51Speaker 1: the reservation.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Yeah, you're you posted something recently or maybe said something
- 10:55Speaker 4: on a pot about like your love for Marshall, And
- 10:57Speaker 4: I wanted to bring this.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Up because we're thinking about finally trying to have kids.
- 11:01Speaker 4: My wife's had to go through some stuff to get
- 11:03Speaker 4: us in a place to you know where where it's
- 11:05Speaker 4: all right on that front, right, Yeah, yeah, yah, yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 4: go sacrifice. She didn't play some song recently that's that said.
- 11:14Speaker 4: It was some maybe an Ariana Grande or something song,
- 11:16Speaker 4: and I go, I go, are we sacrificing a lamb
- 11:18Speaker 4: in the backyard? What the fuck is? It was just
- 11:20Speaker 4: so it made me feel so old because it was so.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Just and I was like, I just don't I don't
- 11:26Speaker 3: know who this is.
- 11:26Speaker 4: But we're getting close to having kids and we have
- 11:29Speaker 4: two dogs, and.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I'm like, I get emotional leaving the dogs.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Dude, I mean, it's it's bad, like and I don't
- 11:35Speaker 4: even know how it's gonna be with kids.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I mean, and you can probably attest to that.
- 11:39Speaker 1: When you're on the road.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I have to leaving.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You can't even compare when I go on the road.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I know someone's taking care of my dog, and he's
- 11:46Speaker 1: gonna be great. Right, He's a sweetheart, he's great with everybody. Y.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I never worry about him, right. Kids are a totally
- 11:53Speaker 1: totally different beast. Oh my god, Like you don't even
- 11:55Speaker 1: you can't even imagine until you're gonna love them. It's
- 11:58Speaker 1: just it's it's ages you as a human being, because
- 12:01Speaker 1: then you start to realize that everybody was a baby,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and then most of these fucked up people in the world,
- 12:07Speaker 1: they just got a bad deck of cards.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's a great way to put it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And they've just been handed a shit sandwich every fucking
- 12:13Speaker 1: day of their life. Everybody you run into them. And
- 12:16Speaker 1: maybe you were lucky. You had really nice parents, you
- 12:19Speaker 1: lived in a really nice neighborhood, you had good friends.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You weren't in jail when you were twelve. Yeah, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and so it's just you. You you have more compassion
- 12:29Speaker 1: for the whole world when you have kids.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I could have been in jail when I was twelve.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I put a firework in my neighbor's mailbox.
- 12:34Speaker 1: That's not good.
- 12:35Speaker 3: That's not great.
- 12:36Speaker 1: What if you had like a fucking lottery check in there? Oh?
- 12:40Speaker 3: Could you sue over that?
- 12:42Speaker 4: No, I guess there's nobody kill you sue.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'd rather go to jail. The money's gone. What do
- 12:49Speaker 1: you have? You don't have enough money to pay for
- 12:51Speaker 1: the one hundred million dollars lottery out.
- 12:52Speaker 3: My single mom would have freaked the fuck out.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Imagine if they said, no, you can't. The lottery is
- 12:57Speaker 1: the craziest scam.
- 12:58Speaker 3: It's so wild.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's legalized gambling. Yep, everybody does it.
- 13:03Speaker 4: But you know what it is, It could be you.
- 13:05Speaker 4: That's the slogan that makes people go, I never thought
- 13:07Speaker 4: of it like that.
- 13:08Speaker 1: But it's the dumbest scam because you have millions of
- 13:10Speaker 1: people trying to win, Like at least in blackjack, you've
- 13:14Speaker 1: got like a forty percent chance of winning. You know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you have like fucking no chance of winning. You're just
- 13:20Speaker 1: donating money hoping that you're the one person out of
- 13:23Speaker 1: five million, maybe even more, maybe more.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Sometimes the odds I feel like have been in like
- 13:28Speaker 4: the seven billions. It's like there's a bit let's ask.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Let's find out how many people go, Like, let's find
- 13:34Speaker 1: a lottery, like a big one, Like what's a big one?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Colorado state?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Maybe? What are the big ones that you hear in
- 13:41Speaker 1: the news? They get to power Ball? Okay, let's say
- 13:44Speaker 1: power Balls. That's a huge one.
- 13:45Speaker 3: They nailed it with the title too.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Let's guess here, let's let's say how let's find out
- 13:51Speaker 1: how much how many people get paid out and how
- 13:54Speaker 1: many people buy lottery tickets? How many lottery tickets are sold? Okay,
- 14:00Speaker 1: put this into perplexity. We have an AI sponsor that
- 14:03Speaker 1: can give us information. Who so it comes. Let's I
- 14:07Speaker 1: talk a lot of shit, and sometimes I'm absolutely wrong
- 14:10Speaker 1: so it's super important. That is important to use perplexity
- 14:13Speaker 1: view for you. It's crazy when you watch it work too,
- 14:15Speaker 1: because you put in a prompt. Can you show how
- 14:17Speaker 1: it's working and put in a prompt and look, it
- 14:19Speaker 1: just pulls out all those articles. Oh my god, and
- 14:22Speaker 1: then bam, just a fast synopsis in seconds and a
- 14:25Speaker 1: knowledge drop. Look at that, Look at that in seconds.
- 14:27Speaker 1: That's so crazy, dude. I don't think we realize how
- 14:30Speaker 1: nuts that is.
- 14:30Speaker 3: It really is.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It's because guess what, even if it was a couple
- 14:34Speaker 4: of seconds to compute and like process, you'd give it
- 14:36Speaker 4: the time and space to figure that out.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Because so here it here goes.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The largest powerball drawing in US history November seven, twenty
- 14:45Speaker 1: twenty two, a jackpot of two point zero four billion dollars.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Over one hundred million tickets were sold for a single
- 14:54Speaker 1: major drawing as the jackpot approached the billion dollar mark.
- 14:58Speaker 1: For instance, when the jackpot reached one point one billion
- 15:00Speaker 1: in another high profile drawing, America has bought more than
- 15:03Speaker 1: one hundred and eleven million tickets, and similar or greater
- 15:07Speaker 1: sales occurred for historical record draws like the two point
- 15:10Speaker 1: zero four billion event.
- 15:12Speaker 3: So only one person.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Gets paid well, though there's smaller jackpots, and you can
- 15:18Speaker 1: hit a few numbers, so there's twenty million dollar range.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Oh though there's large smaller jackpots. How many people get
- 15:24Speaker 1: paid out though? Is it just one person?
- 15:26Speaker 3: It depends. I think there could be multiple winners. Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I mean you made a million bucks if you hit
- 15:30Speaker 2: like all five numbers and not the power ball.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Right, so that doesn't affect the jackpot, right, So I
- 15:36Speaker 2: guess if you're asking who gets paid out of the jackpot? Yeah, yeah,
- 15:39Speaker 2: it's a winner take all situation.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But if two people, with three people or ten people
- 15:43Speaker 2: get it, it gets even.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So what if you only get some of the numbers,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you get some money.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You can get somebody you get like one number, you
- 15:49Speaker 2: can get like five bucks back.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Okay. They just try to keep you a hook to you.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they just try to keep you on the hook.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And if you get like, let's say you get so
- 16:00Speaker 1: you've got to imagine that if you give them five
- 16:02Speaker 1: bucks back, they probably bought three hundred tickets at least,
- 16:05Speaker 1: So you won anyway.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So I was gonna bring up this thing that happened.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I think it was in Texas, someone figured out the
- 16:11Speaker 2: loophole of like, no, how many tickets can you buy?
- 16:13Speaker 2: And how fast can you buy them? And they figured
- 16:16Speaker 2: out a way to buy tickets and they won. They
- 16:20Speaker 2: were profitable.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Well, there's a numbers game.
- 16:22Speaker 2: They has been like twenty five million dollars or something.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But the well was that legal?
- 16:26Speaker 2: That's where they've gotten into some issues.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Now, well, here's the thing. Why Why isn't it legal
- 16:30Speaker 1: if you're just buying tickets, if you have a shitty system,
- 16:33Speaker 1: if your system sucks, and by the way, your system's
- 16:35Speaker 1: been ripping off everybody puns personal problem, and I jump
- 16:38Speaker 1: in on that system and give you all this money.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I figured it out and I win money every fucking time.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, maybe this is on you.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Maybe you don't like when you get scammed. Motherfucker, even
- 16:49Speaker 1: scam on us. Fears when you sell one hundred and
- 16:51Speaker 1: eleven million tickets for one for one winner, you have
- 16:55Speaker 1: one hundred and eleven million to one. Yeah, that's might
- 16:59Speaker 1: not win.
- 16:59Speaker 2: And it goes on. That carries over.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I love the stories.

- 18:34Speaker 4: It's happened a handful of times where like the guy
- 18:37Speaker 4: or guy will win and then split it with someone
- 18:40Speaker 4: that they like, bought the ticket with or said they'd
- 18:41Speaker 4: go haves he's on. You know, though, there's got to
- 18:44Speaker 4: be times where somebody did that, and like, you know,
- 18:48Speaker 4: because I think they usually publicize who won, but there's
- 18:50Speaker 4: got to be a way if you want like two
- 18:52Speaker 4: mil to keep it kind of hush hush, and then
- 18:54Speaker 4: you know you and then the buddy's like, man if
- 18:56Speaker 4: I can't believe we didn't win and you did win,
- 18:58Speaker 4: and you're like, yeah, I know, fucking better look next
- 19:00Speaker 4: to the heir, but like, oh, he's going to kill you.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so well. And families, I've families.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Have been ripped apart from these types of when they
- 19:08Speaker 4: go public and name changes.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I mean, I've heard all sorts of.
- 19:11Speaker 4: There was a documentary about the lottery from the same
- 19:15Speaker 4: guy who did I think it was Spellbound. Do you
- 19:17Speaker 4: ever see that about the script spelling bee. They followed
- 19:19Speaker 4: five kids around the country. It's a brilliant documentary and
- 19:22Speaker 4: it just goes to show you. I mean, they're all
- 19:24Speaker 4: different walks of life kids, and some are you know,
- 19:28Speaker 4: their parents are like spelling. They're all pretty like, you know,
- 19:32Speaker 4: serious about it, but some are very uh. I think
- 19:34Speaker 4: there's a young Indian kid and his parents are like, yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 4: spelling his life. And then there's a young white girl
- 19:40Speaker 4: and her parents are also very like disciplined about you know,
- 19:43Speaker 4: her being on top of this. And then there's a
- 19:46Speaker 4: young Black girl and her mom is kind of like
- 19:49Speaker 4: if she's happy, she loves doing it. I'm a supporter,
- 19:51Speaker 4: you know. But it's all different walks of life, and
- 19:53Speaker 4: you follow them almost like best in show up until
- 19:56Speaker 4: the big events, and then it's the actual spelling Bee,
- 19:59Speaker 4: which is just you know, so fucking I mean, you've
- 20:01Speaker 4: seen some of these on ESPN.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Right over the years.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 4: And the pressure though, is like, what's wild seeing a
- 20:07Speaker 4: kid at that age deal with that type of pressure,
- 20:10Speaker 4: like even though they love it, they're up on that
- 20:12Speaker 4: stage like fuck.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I remember I played the cowardly line in fifth grade.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I freaked the fuck out, hey, because I was a
- 20:17Speaker 3: fat kid. I was fucking my tits were falling out.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Of the line suit.
- 20:20Speaker 4: I asked for ice cream cake instead of courage when
- 20:22Speaker 4: I got to OZ. But like these kids are having
- 20:24Speaker 4: to there's money on the line. The parents have like
- 20:27Speaker 4: detic they've flown all across the country like anyway. But
- 20:30Speaker 4: the guy did a doc about the lottery and how
- 20:32Speaker 4: it's the pros and cons, but mostly about how it
- 20:34Speaker 4: is like a big scam and stuff and it's you know,
- 20:37Speaker 4: just kind of a social experiment.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Really well, it's definitely it's definitely a way to keep
- 20:42Speaker 1: people hooked. It's a gambling thing. Yeah, it's what's one
- 20:45Speaker 1: hundred percent of gambling thing. But it's like very very
- 20:47Speaker 1: profitable for the government, it is. But the thing about
- 20:50Speaker 1: it is nobody who wins ever gets happy. It's not
- 20:54Speaker 1: like everybody.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Who wins, say, everybody who wins.
- 20:58Speaker 1: The vast majority of people who win go broke within
- 21:02Speaker 1: a very short amount of time. Oh really Yeah, they
- 21:04Speaker 1: blow through their money and they wind up getting robbed
- 21:07Speaker 1: or something happens, and like it's it's not like you've
- 21:11Speaker 1: had an unsuccessful financial relationship with you know, with money
- 21:16Speaker 1: and with funds and you know, being prudent with your expenses, right,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden you win the lottery
- 21:22Speaker 1: and you're like, okay, great, I'm an accountant. I know
- 21:24Speaker 1: how to handle this.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Now.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Most people are just like barely getting by and then
- 21:28Speaker 1: they win the lottery and they've always been laid on
- 21:30Speaker 1: bills and now they're buying a rolex.
- 21:32Speaker 3: You're going from zero to sixty. Yeah, you can't adjust.
- 21:34Speaker 2: As the winner of that two billion dollars.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Oh look at him, Wow, dude, look at him, Just
- 21:38Speaker 1: a kid from La. Look how happy that motherfucker is.
- 21:40Speaker 1: You better run, son, Run to Canada, Run to Canada.
- 21:44Speaker 3: We're going to buy so much somewhere.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Go somewhere where they don't know who you are, and
- 21:50Speaker 1: enjoy your life and lie. Did you lie about where
- 21:52Speaker 1: you got your money? Say, say you got a business,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you know, say your dad died and whatever. Yeah, grandpa
- 21:58Speaker 1: left you a lot of money. He had gold corn
- 22:00Speaker 1: from the war.
- 22:00Speaker 4: No one, questions, flowing questions, old artifacts.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, don't say you won the lottery because then
- 22:06Speaker 1: people don't think you deserve it. So, if you're Jeff Bezos,
- 22:09Speaker 1: you made Amazon just pictures of you in the fucking
- 22:11Speaker 1: garage with its Amazon dot Com sign above your head.
- 22:15Speaker 1: When yeah, the early days like, you know that guy
- 22:18Speaker 1: built that fucking so if he's out there ball and
- 22:20Speaker 1: that kind of makes sense. You know, you see Jeff
- 22:22Speaker 1: Bezos as a giant yacht, You're like, I never got
- 22:24Speaker 1: too do the same thing. So but when you get
- 22:28Speaker 1: the power ball and all of a sudden, you got
- 22:29Speaker 1: two billion dollars, just like that dude. And by the way,
- 22:32Speaker 1: it's not really two billion dollars, because it's two billion
- 22:35Speaker 1: dollars if you live to be like a thousand years old.
- 22:37Speaker 3: But they take it, they take your tax on next
- 22:38Speaker 3: a week.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It's weird, so like they don't or you can get
- 22:42Speaker 1: all of it in once in one sum, but it's
- 22:45Speaker 1: never the same. It's never the same amount. They give
- 22:47Speaker 1: you way less, which is horseshit. It is, so if
- 22:50Speaker 1: you want to get the two billion dollars, it's probably like,
- 22:53Speaker 1: how what is the actual let's find this out. What's
- 22:55Speaker 1: the actual payout schedule that you can accept. Either the
- 23:00Speaker 1: payments where they just pay you like you we got
- 23:03Speaker 1: two billion coming your way guaranteed, promise you. Yeah, we're
- 23:06Speaker 1: gonna give you a little every month. Feels like wait
- 23:08Speaker 1: a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, what did
- 23:10Speaker 1: you do with the one hundred and eleven million tickets.
- 23:14Speaker 1: You sold, motherfucker, you sold one hundred and eleven million tickets.
- 23:20Speaker 1: What did you do with that money? Where's that money?
- 23:22Speaker 1: How about give me all that?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Shit, fuck are you doing? What is this.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Thirty year option?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Thirty years?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Wow?
- 23:31Speaker 1: They want to pay you for thirty years?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Would you take that? Or just nice?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Slow?
- 23:37Speaker 3: That's the way we do it.
- 23:39Speaker 1: See nice?
- 23:40Speaker 2: Nice? That guy is this I said this. I didn't
- 23:44Speaker 2: know this says this option pays out the full advertised jackpottermount.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Oh it's a different one.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I didn't know that. That's real.
- 23:50Speaker 4: By the way, that voice, so you were doing, that's
- 23:52Speaker 4: for sure. The head of a lottery nice, mister burns
- 23:55Speaker 4: al Pacino.
- 23:56Speaker 1: We're gonna pay a nice and slow.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, dude in a Fela jumpsuit.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Some dude just stealing money. He's got a fake rolex.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Yeah, paying them nice and yeah, thirty years is crazy.
- 24:08Speaker 4: If you win the lottery and you're sixty, bitch, you
- 24:11Speaker 4: ain't got thirty years, especially with lottery money that kind
- 24:14Speaker 4: of cocaine, you gotta take it out.
- 24:15Speaker 6: Cocaine and Ferrari's like, you got a lot of way,
- 24:18Speaker 6: what do you think you're doing because you I mean,
- 24:22Speaker 6: you're you're fine, But like, did you ever fantasize about
- 24:25Speaker 6: like that?
- 24:26Speaker 4: I think it's normal to be a person if you
- 24:29Speaker 4: as long as you've been aware of the lottery, I
- 24:32Speaker 4: think everyone has had that conversation.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah, what would you do if you won the lottery?
- 24:36Speaker 4: I remember having that as a kid, and I remember
- 24:38Speaker 4: telling my dad was going to win the lottery just
- 24:39Speaker 4: to fucking you never have to work it?
- 24:41Speaker 3: Like what how did I even think to?
- 24:43Speaker 4: But you just you hear about it, and you're like
- 24:45Speaker 4: the idea of just getting rich right away and then
- 24:49Speaker 4: not having to do it anything, I think is pretty
- 24:52Speaker 4: common in this country, right.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Well, it's a wonderful idea because everybody hates work.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Did you ever think about though, like when you were sure?
- 24:59Speaker 1: I played the lottery a bunch of times? But like,
- 25:01Speaker 1: did you fancy I don't know how many times I
- 25:03Speaker 1: played it? Let me think how many times? Man? You know,
- 25:05Speaker 1: not a lot of times. I think I've probably played it,
- 25:08Speaker 1: like all told in my life, like less than ten times.
- 25:10Speaker 3: What did you write down or say to yourself?
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm not like a vision port type.
- 25:14Speaker 4: But like if you got like, let's say you did
- 25:15Speaker 4: win like five hundred mil and you were in your
- 25:18Speaker 4: early twenties or something, or be broke.
- 25:20Speaker 1: If you're broke and ruined, you.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Would have gone through it all. You wouldn't. You wouldn't
- 25:24Speaker 3: put it away for the fan.
- 25:25Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'd be doing a GoFundMe right now.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'd be going some sad tour. People would be like, good.
- 25:34Speaker 3: But when you had all that money, fuck you, fuck
- 25:38Speaker 3: you man.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You know what I went through.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Man, Joe's doing safaris and stand up for animals.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I think they'll win. The lottery is bad for you.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I know that sounds crazy because if you don't have
- 25:46Speaker 1: any money and you want money, and maybe maybe not
- 25:49Speaker 1: bad for everybody, but bad for me. Let me say that.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I think if I won the lottery, it would be
- 25:53Speaker 1: bad for me. Yeah, because I'm the type of dude
- 25:55Speaker 1: who needs like a thing to be working on. I like,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I have to, I want, I want to prove that stuff.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I drive towards things. I'm trying to like figure things
- 26:04Speaker 1: out all the time.
- 26:04Speaker 3: That's a great point.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I all of a sudden, not doing that.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Your drive is gone.
- 26:09Speaker 1: If you win the lottery, I think, especially at a
- 26:10Speaker 1: young age, because if you're like, so, let's go back
- 26:14Speaker 1: to like when I was like twenty two. I was
- 26:16Speaker 1: twenty two. I was working jobs while I was doing
- 26:20Speaker 1: stand up at night. I was working for a private investigator.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Maybe I was making twenty bucks an hour. Wait, maybe
- 26:27Speaker 1: did you really do that? Yeah? I drove around a
- 26:29Speaker 1: private investigator.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Holy shit.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah. He was a good friend for years. Like he
- 26:34Speaker 1: died recently. His name is Dave Dolan. He was He's
- 26:36Speaker 1: the best. I kept one of my old phones just
- 26:38Speaker 1: because he left me a message. He used to call
- 26:40Speaker 1: himself died Mike Dickless, Dave Dolan. He was a hilarious,
- 26:45Speaker 1: the funniest guy that I've ever met. There wasn't a comedian.
- 26:47Speaker 3: He was so funny that.
- 26:48Speaker 1: He was so funny. And the crazy thing is what
- 26:51Speaker 1: happened was he lost his license from drunk driving. And
- 26:56Speaker 1: he put in an ad for a private investigator's assistant.
- 26:59Speaker 1: But really what it was was someone to drive him
- 27:01Speaker 1: because he couldn't drive. Yeah, because he was you know,
- 27:03Speaker 1: lost his license. Like, I forget how long, like three
- 27:06Speaker 1: months or something like that. So I signed up for
- 27:11Speaker 1: the job. I meet him. You know, this is back
- 27:13Speaker 1: when I was still competing. I was still fighting. So
- 27:15Speaker 1: he liked that I could like fuck people up and
- 27:17Speaker 1: something went sideways. Yeah, and so then we would go
- 27:21Speaker 1: And most of it was insurance fraud, who was mostly
- 27:24Speaker 1: like catching people like doing things like pretending their back
- 27:28Speaker 1: was hurt and you catch them carrying roof shingles up
- 27:30Speaker 1: a ladder. There was a lot of that. People they
- 27:34Speaker 1: get hurt, like working for an airline. This one lady, Oh,
- 27:37Speaker 1: this was so sad because she led us into her house.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I felt so bad. We would it was a scam.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And the scam was Dave would show up and say, ma'am,
- 27:47Speaker 1: my girlfriend was in an accident. And when the police
- 27:50Speaker 1: took the license plated the witness, someone spilled coffee on
- 27:53Speaker 1: the report and it's confusing which letters are the last letters,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and one of them is yours. We got these two
- 28:00Speaker 1: they weren't right. We're hoping it's you, and they were like,
- 28:03Speaker 1: what's wrong with your girlfriend? And he goes, well, she's
- 28:07Speaker 1: got this injury, which is exactly the same injury that
- 28:09Speaker 1: this lady had that she was supposedly getting that she
- 28:13Speaker 1: was you know, disabled from and so she's like, oh
- 28:16Speaker 1: my god, I had the same thing. And he goes,
- 28:18Speaker 1: I hope you're getting paid and she goes, oh, yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: not only am I getting paid by insurance, but I'm
- 28:23Speaker 1: also working under my maiden name. He's like, oh, that's great,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and she goes, would you like to come in in
- 28:28Speaker 1: the house and have some coffee. She's the nicest lady.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She had us in her house. We were two strangers.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Oh God, some fucking thick looking Irish dude with a mustache.
- 28:38Speaker 1: That's Dave and me like this twenty one year old
- 28:42Speaker 1: kid with a fucking crew cut, and you're just letting
- 28:44Speaker 1: us into your house. Fuck giving us coffee. Like she's
- 28:46Speaker 1: so nice, man, We can't do that. We got we
- 28:49Speaker 1: gotta pretend this didn't have it. He's like, fuck her.
- 28:51Speaker 1: She goes, fucking thief. That lady's a fucking thief. Fuck her.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, I can't do this.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Oh I only did it for a few months, but
- 29:01Speaker 1: that's all he needed me for. Really, But we became friends.
- 29:04Speaker 3: What a life dude.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, he was an interesting cat man. He was a
- 29:07Speaker 1: fun one of the guys. There was a guy who
- 29:11Speaker 1: thought his girlfriend was cheating on him or wife. I forget.
- 29:15Speaker 3: And so it feels like a lot of the cases
- 29:17Speaker 3: they get hired for, right, yes.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Like sure, but mostly what Dave did was insurance stuff
- 29:22Speaker 1: because they they had the most amount of cases. It
- 29:24Speaker 1: was all about fight. It's just it's just a numbers thing.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: So this one was I think, I think my girl's
- 29:30Speaker 1: cheating on me, So he hires Dave to this. His
- 29:36Speaker 1: wife was hooking up with this fucking barbarian, this dude
- 29:40Speaker 1: who's this big old bodybuilder dude, and he was just
- 29:43Speaker 1: pounding her, and Dave had to take pictures and then
- 29:46Speaker 1: he like brought the picture that brought the pictures to
- 29:51Speaker 1: the guy, and then the guy was like, well keep
- 29:54Speaker 1: following her. He's like, fuck you.
- 29:57Speaker 4: He's like, I don't know kind of chink you're into,
- 30:00Speaker 4: Like this is this like a.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Are you this should be enough? No, it was almost
- 30:04Speaker 1: like he was into it. It was almost like they
- 30:06Speaker 1: were playing a game, like a cuck game.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Oh wow, it was you know, I'm cheating on you.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Maybe should hire a private investigator and see the pictures.
- 30:14Speaker 1: The guy just like the girl was. The lady was
- 30:18Speaker 1: very hot and he was very not hot. And then
- 30:21Speaker 1: there was this bodybuilder guy.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Fuck it, dude, it is funny you say that.
- 30:24Speaker 4: My brain immediately went to if my wife was cheating
- 30:26Speaker 4: on me, that would be the worst version. Just a
- 30:29Speaker 4: huge guy, because like if it's shack you go. If
- 30:32Speaker 4: we do get back together, there's no way. Well you're not,
- 30:35Speaker 4: by the way, but like if you do, like you
- 30:38Speaker 4: just you can't go back in there.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Right, it's over.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I mean I see Shaq now with like when there's
- 30:42Speaker 4: pictures of a hymn next to her, was like, girls,
- 30:44Speaker 4: he's dated. I'm like, is that that should be illegal?
- 30:48Speaker 4: But I guess I don't know if he's gentle.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:51Speaker 3: How do you how do you do that? I don't know.
- 30:52Speaker 3: She gotta ask him, have you a shack on?
- 30:56Speaker 1: No, I'd love to have him and I love that
- 30:57Speaker 1: dude would be in fact with me.
- 30:59Speaker 3: No.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 4: He co hosted Fear Factor one day. One episode that
- 31:03Speaker 4: would be an unbelievable conversation that was like.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Me and him hanging I had a joke I was
- 31:07Speaker 1: I was like a six year old hanging out with
- 31:09Speaker 1: his dad. Like the size of it. I had a
- 31:12Speaker 1: joke about a lady guarding the White House because it
- 31:15Speaker 1: was during the Obama administration. A guy broke into the
- 31:18Speaker 1: White House and they had a lady, an unarmed lady
- 31:20Speaker 1: at the front door, and I had this whole joke
- 31:22Speaker 1: about like not everybody can guard the White House and like, listen,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I've met you, Keil o' neil. His dick is where
- 31:29Speaker 1: my face is. I'm like, if the White House is
- 31:30Speaker 1: experiencing a shock attack, I'm the wrong dude to save
- 31:33Speaker 1: the world. He's just gonna run over me. He's too big. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: you know. But that guy, when you're you're hanging out
- 31:40Speaker 1: with him, You're like, Okay, giants are real, Like there's
- 31:42Speaker 1: real giants house world, Like look at this.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Oh you did at UNI too, that's awesome.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was fun. But he's a fan of
- 31:49Speaker 1: the show. He was real cool.
- 31:50Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I see him at the UFC all the time too.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Imagine that guy got into MMA because he's a martial artist.
- 31:56Speaker 1: He practices, that's right. There's some good video of him
- 31:59Speaker 1: working out, like kicking pads and punching mits and shit,
- 32:02Speaker 1: he's got technique.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Is it cool from your perspective when people like that
- 32:05Speaker 4: jump into that art form?
- 32:06Speaker 1: Are you just like I say, of it? No, I
- 32:08Speaker 1: love it. I want everybody to do it. It's good for
- 32:10Speaker 1: your brain. You know, don't do it because you want
- 32:12Speaker 1: to be billy badass, but do it because it's it's
- 32:14Speaker 1: like the best way of releasing aggression and making you
- 32:18Speaker 1: a nice person. It sounds crazy, I know. It like
- 32:21Speaker 1: hitting something like a bag. You don't have to hit
- 32:24Speaker 1: a person, hit a heavy bag. Just boom boom boombo
- 32:27Speaker 1: you get all that shit out of your system. Wow,
- 32:29Speaker 1: look at it next to Francis and Gondo.
- 32:31Speaker 4: That's for b UFC heavyweight champion frances and God who
- 32:34Speaker 4: is a giant man standing next to Shack and Shack
- 32:37Speaker 4: towers over him.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I mean it's he's too big for the UFC. If Shaq, Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: if the UFC was around when Shack No, no, he
- 32:44Speaker 1: like literally is physically too big.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Oh.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Like, the UFC is a two hundred and sixty five
- 32:48Speaker 1: pound weight limit for the heavyweight division, which is kind
- 32:51Speaker 1: of crazy. Yeah, heavyweight should be as big as you get.
- 32:54Speaker 1: It should be like I think it should be like
- 32:56Speaker 1: two twenty five and up. That's what I think. I
- 32:58Speaker 1: think there's not enough weight classes, but that's a separate conversation.
- 33:01Speaker 1: But Shack is way bigger than two sixty five. Yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 1: he probably would have to cut eighty pounds to make
- 33:08Speaker 1: the UFC's weight limit.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I think he was under three when he got in
- 33:11Speaker 4: the league. He was real slender, which is crazy to
- 33:13Speaker 4: be that big and be that fast.
- 33:15Speaker 3: The fact that he did what he did in the
- 33:16Speaker 3: NBA is really there's.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Giant super athletes. Which is like the difference between the NBA,
- 33:22Speaker 1: the NFL and then the UFC. Yeah, is like the
- 33:25Speaker 1: UFC doesn't get many guys like that, right, most of
- 33:28Speaker 1: the like super athletes when they're kids, they go into football,
- 33:32Speaker 1: they go into baseball, they go into basketball. That's where
- 33:34Speaker 1: the money is, you know, for a lot of them. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: like way more like there's way more spots probably for
- 33:40Speaker 1: football players for uf Like how many how many professional
- 33:46Speaker 1: football players are there in the NFL.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I mean there's fifty three per team, and.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Let's find two teams or one thousand.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It don't make me do math them stupid, That's why
- 33:55Speaker 1: we do this.
- 33:56Speaker 2: That's just that because also the squads, there's another twelve
- 33:59Speaker 2: or fifteen actice.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Okay, let's put it in numberplexity. Find out how many
- 34:03Speaker 1: overall players are employed by the NFL.
- 34:09Speaker 4: And then do it for NBA, MLB, badminton, tennis, and cricket, croquet,
- 34:13Speaker 4: Chinese sports and checkers par cheesy, yeah, who know, tournaments,
- 34:18Speaker 4: pyramid billiards.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Remember, for the NFL could get way bigger because there's
- 34:21Speaker 2: guys that you know are half retired and play like
- 34:24Speaker 2: three games a year.
- 34:25Speaker 4: So what do you if you had to get fifty
- 34:27Speaker 4: three times what there's thirty Jamie.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Knows a lot about staffs, there'd be probably twenty two thousand.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Twenty two thousand, Oh no, no, no, not twenty.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I was gonna say twenty five hundred or two thousand, yes,
- 34:36Speaker 2: two thousand probably a fair number.
- 34:37Speaker 1: And is that that's just NFL? Correct? And then you have XFL.
- 34:40Speaker 1: How many people are employed by the XFL?
- 34:42Speaker 3: Great question?
- 34:45Speaker 4: And baseball there's a fifty three No, Baseball's fifty three
- 34:49Speaker 4: man roster for baseball.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Baseball is way less like twenty five.
- 34:52Speaker 1: So for UFC, just to UFC, I think right now
- 34:55Speaker 1: they have six hundred fighters under contract. Mcmaynard texted, wow
- 34:59Speaker 1: about that's recently.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Seventeen players rosters and then another four hundred who can
- 35:04Speaker 2: move around.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Okay, so that's NFL. That's just the NFL. So it's
- 35:09Speaker 1: essentially two thousand ish, So.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Five hundred and fifty in the NBA.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Mm okay, and the.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Draft each year is probably another you had another thirty
- 35:18Speaker 3: to forty.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Also, you have to take into account that a lot
- 35:21Speaker 1: of kids, uh, you play football in school, right, So
- 35:24Speaker 1: if you're gonna play football, you play football in high school,
- 35:26Speaker 1: play football in college. Yeah, but it's a sport that
- 35:30Speaker 1: everybody plays, and it's normal to do. Like everybody in
- 35:33Speaker 1: the neighborhood plays. If you play baseball, everybody in the
- 35:36Speaker 1: neighborhood plays. You all you play in middle school, you
- 35:39Speaker 1: play in high school. Mma, you got to go to
- 35:41Speaker 1: a gym. You gotta learn. You gotta get kicked so nuts.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You're gonna get kicked in the nuts more than once.
- 35:47Speaker 1: You're gonna get punched in the face. Your no, its
- 35:49Speaker 1: gonna be bloody, You're gonna have a headache, You're gonna
- 35:53Speaker 1: have sore joints because people are trying to break your arms,
- 35:56Speaker 1: and you know, you're showing up at school every day
- 35:58Speaker 1: going what am I doing? What the am I doing?
- 36:00Speaker 1: So it's hard to get a kid that can also
- 36:03Speaker 1: play basketball really well to decide I'm gonna let someone
- 36:07Speaker 1: kick my shins out from me.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I don't know what kid would do that? And also
- 36:10Speaker 3: got to be a.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Kid that only wants that. Yeah, it's got to be
- 36:13Speaker 1: a kid that watches the UFC.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Like Tiger Woods was golfing what it like three two
- 36:18Speaker 4: or three right, right, So not that you would be
- 36:21Speaker 4: doing UFC or MMA at that age, but what is
- 36:25Speaker 4: the you would.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Because a lot of people who have sons these and
- 36:29Speaker 1: daughters that are really into it, they start training them.
- 36:31Speaker 1: A lot of these fighters train their kids at an
- 36:33Speaker 1: early age.
- 36:33Speaker 4: I remember having like you know, WrestleMania types like stuffed
- 36:37Speaker 4: animals and wrestling with them at like five six seven,
- 36:40Speaker 4: But it didn't obviously turn into a passion, but like
- 36:45Speaker 4: that at least it was like at that age of
- 36:46Speaker 4: like rough housing and throwing shit around and like trying
- 36:49Speaker 4: to beat somebody up.
- 36:50Speaker 3: But I guess to take a shot to the dick
- 36:53Speaker 3: as a kid, like yeah, you got to be made
- 36:55Speaker 3: a steal.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Well, I think generally to your parents encourage you to
- 36:59Speaker 1: do it early, and you do like traditional martial arts,
- 37:01Speaker 1: and you get kind of excited about it, and then
- 37:03Speaker 1: you start watching the UFC as you get older, and
- 37:05Speaker 1: then maybe you start doing some other stuff, like maybe
- 37:07Speaker 1: you start out in jiu jitsu, and then you work
- 37:08Speaker 1: your way a little Mooi Thai and then as you're
- 37:11Speaker 1: like thirteen fourteen, you probably start thinking, I think I
- 37:14Speaker 1: want to fight. Yeah, that's what happens with a lot
- 37:17Speaker 1: of these guys.
- 37:17Speaker 4: You're probably not taking shit in school, by the way,
- 37:19Speaker 4: like if your teachers, like Martin, I saw you weren't
- 37:22Speaker 4: paying attention.
- 37:22Speaker 3: You're like, I'm bleeding out of my dick.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Lady, you know, like you're just you've seen you've gone
- 37:27Speaker 4: through some shit where you're like, this is not my
- 37:29Speaker 4: biggest concern right now.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Well, it's definitely not your biggest concern. But it's also boring.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That's the real problem. When you do exciting things when
- 37:35Speaker 1: you're young. You can't parse it out in your head
- 37:37Speaker 1: and go, I know, I have to do this boring
- 37:39Speaker 1: thing because school, Yeah this is really important. When you're
- 37:42Speaker 1: doing this exciting thing, man, you're you know, kicking people's
- 37:45Speaker 1: heads off, Like this is way more fun. I don't
- 37:47Speaker 1: want to I don't care about history.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Did you play baseball?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Baseball? Yeah yeah, I did what position? You know, I
- 37:54Speaker 1: wasn't very good, so I was an outfielder. But one
- 37:58Speaker 1: thing I did do is I hit, either hit home
- 38:00Speaker 1: runs or struck out. Let's go, because I would never
- 38:03Speaker 1: just try to get on base. The coach should always
- 38:05Speaker 1: say just try to get on base, just try and be.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Like right, just cool.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I hated team sports. I was not a good team
- 38:13Speaker 1: player in that regard because I mean I was good
- 38:15Speaker 1: in that I tried to catch balls. Yeah, and I
- 38:17Speaker 1: try to make bet.
- 38:18Speaker 3: You were a fun teammate though, right, you were the jokester.
- 38:20Speaker 1: And but I was also like, I am going to
- 38:22Speaker 1: hit the fuck out of this ball on because I
- 38:24Speaker 1: hit my first home run I think when I was
- 38:26Speaker 1: like twelve or something like that, and I was like, oh,
- 38:29Speaker 1: this is way better. I was like, this is way
- 38:31Speaker 1: better than just hitting a ball show. This is as
- 38:33Speaker 1: you get bigger and stronger, as you and you get
- 38:35Speaker 1: a little bit more coordinated, and you feel what it's
- 38:37Speaker 1: like to really fucking connect and get your body into that.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That really translated into martial arts too, because learning how
- 38:44Speaker 1: to hit things hard. I think it helped that I
- 38:47Speaker 1: learned how to hit a baseball hard.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Is there a correlation with like the torque and the yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 4: undred percent, because when you're hitting a baseball, like I
- 38:56Speaker 4: was never a great baseball player.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Okay, I was just a kid who knew how to
- 38:59Speaker 1: hit a hard Still it wasn't a good hand I coordination,
- 39:02Speaker 1: but there was a thing about this, about this timing yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 1: flat like that that translated directly into kicking things, like directly,
- 39:12Speaker 1: so I think learning that at an early age, I
- 39:14Speaker 1: was like, Oh, it's like a body. It's a timing thing,
- 39:17Speaker 1: but it's like a whip of your body. And that's
- 39:19Speaker 1: the exact same thing with kicking.
- 39:21Speaker 3: My my buddy, I'm actually wearing his hoodie.
- 39:23Speaker 4: Cal Rally, his nickname is the Big Dumper, and he
- 39:26Speaker 4: had He just lost the MVP to Aaron Judge by
- 39:29Speaker 4: like four votes.
- 39:30Speaker 3: But he had.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Then it was a big dispute and big debate because
- 39:33Speaker 4: he's a switch hitting catcher. He's a catcher. He hit
- 39:35Speaker 4: sixty home runs this year, most by any catcher ever.
- 39:39Speaker 4: He the most by any switch hitting catcher, switch hitting player.
- 39:44Speaker 4: He broke he just broke so many records. Aaron Judge
- 39:48Speaker 4: ultimately won the MVP because statistically he was outrageous in
- 39:52Speaker 4: so many categories.
- 39:53Speaker 3: But it was a big debate.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I'm biased, Cow's the man, but also, you know, a
- 39:58Speaker 4: catcher is handling so much more.
- 39:59Speaker 3: During the Aaron Judge.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Played the outfield and then Aaron Judge looks like if
- 40:03Speaker 4: forour loco grew into a person, Cal Rawley is like,
- 40:06Speaker 4: you want to have a bud light with.
- 40:07Speaker 3: He's a fucking everyman. He won the home run derby.
- 40:10Speaker 4: His dad, who was his high school baseball coach, was
- 40:12Speaker 4: throwing pitches to him during It was a better story
- 40:14Speaker 4: for baseball. But I actually want to get your opinion
- 40:16Speaker 4: on this if you are going, because I think the
- 40:18Speaker 4: writers were just like stats, like Cal batted like two
- 40:22Speaker 4: forty six. Judge was like three point eighty something I
- 40:25Speaker 4: think to end the year. But again, Cal like broke
- 40:27Speaker 4: all these records and for a catcher, and like made
- 40:30Speaker 4: baseball cool and like put you know, gave him a
- 40:33Speaker 4: position a lot more love.
- 40:35Speaker 3: And he's calling the whole game. He has to know
- 40:37Speaker 3: the whole pitching staff.
- 40:38Speaker 4: He comes in early, he's he's catching the game, which
- 40:40Speaker 4: is why it's unheard of for a catcher to be
- 40:42Speaker 4: that offensively you know, uh powerful, But he ultimately lost
- 40:47Speaker 4: and a lot of people were bummed out about it.
- 40:49Speaker 4: And uh, I guess my question to you is if
- 40:52Speaker 4: you were one of those like, if you're assessing stuff
- 40:55Speaker 4: like that, do you take into account, like you know,
- 40:58Speaker 4: what someone's impact for the game is, or would you
- 41:01Speaker 4: just go like, no, no, who had the best stats
- 41:03Speaker 4: and that's the MVP.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah it's a good conversation. Yeah, it's a good conversation
- 41:09Speaker 1: that I don't but objectively, I would say, go with
- 41:13Speaker 1: the best stats. The guy played the best, I guess,
- 41:15Speaker 1: the most valuable player. But to switch it in catches,
- 41:18Speaker 1: it's a very valuable thing. It's just the most valuable thing.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:21Speaker 4: You know what they gave a lot of credit to
- 41:22Speaker 4: is like judges in New York on the Yankees, and
- 41:25Speaker 4: they get so much press and so much love, and
- 41:27Speaker 4: Seattle's up here in the corner right fur this way.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Like everyone's just like.
- 41:31Speaker 4: Isn't it the fucking coffee sound garden place? And it's
- 41:34Speaker 4: like there's a catcher up there. I mean, yeah, I
- 41:37Speaker 4: don't know that stuff. I think does matter the national attention,
- 41:41Speaker 4: but I don't know.
- 41:43Speaker 1: There was a guy that was a really good baseball
- 41:45Speaker 1: player that became a martial artist and had a wicked
- 41:48Speaker 1: right hand. This Japanese got Takenori Gomi and great name.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Oh my god, this dude he was and play baseball. Yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 1: he was a pitcher, and like that's how he started off.
- 41:59Speaker 1: And he just had a whip to his right hand.
- 42:02Speaker 1: And you think about like how fast a pitcher moves
- 42:05Speaker 1: his body. And I'm sure you've seen that one where
- 42:08Speaker 1: what's the dude's name that killed the bird?
- 42:09Speaker 3: Oh, Randy Johnson. Bro, that's a former mariner. That clip
- 42:13Speaker 3: is amazing.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I know it's like a billion it's very sad, but
- 42:19Speaker 1: it's a once in a billion thing.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Once in a trillion, Joe. The timing of that first
- 42:23Speaker 4: of all, birds fly through stadiums like you know every
- 42:26Speaker 4: now and then. And also you have the fastest throwing
- 42:29Speaker 4: picture arguably in the history of the game. Throw at
- 42:32Speaker 4: his peak hundred throwing.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Can you imagine that he hits that bird right square?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Do you think that bird? I mean, I don't know.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Do they have little fucking stupid brain look at their
- 42:43Speaker 1: seeds looking for seeds?
- 42:45Speaker 3: That bird?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Fuck that bird. That bird existed for that moment.
- 42:48Speaker 3: It did.
- 42:48Speaker 1: The universe wanted us to see it. The bird was
- 42:50Speaker 1: virtually pulverized and killed instantly. Famously, Johnson was sued by
- 42:54Speaker 1: PETA for the obvious freak accident.
- 42:58Speaker 3: And look at this.
- 42:59Speaker 4: Johnson's the way he's remembered as the bird killer Randy,
- 43:03Speaker 4: you gotta let it go.
- 43:04Speaker 3: His nickname was the Big Unit when he was in Seattle.
- 43:06Speaker 1: No, I remember that guy, Dude, that's.
- 43:08Speaker 4: Wid And then there's the famous uh as if we're
- 43:11Speaker 4: talking bird accidents, Fabio on the roller coaster, remember that, No, what.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Happened with oh Man? This is a belieable.
- 43:19Speaker 4: He's opening a roller coaster at some theme park I
- 43:22Speaker 4: want to say, Great America, and he's on the beginning
- 43:24Speaker 4: and he's like, hello, Fabio here, I can't wait to
- 43:26Speaker 4: ride the roller coaster and oh Man, and somewhere in
- 43:31Speaker 4: the journey, a bird flies out of nowhere and breaks
- 43:34Speaker 4: his fucking nose.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Dude, Yep, boom, feathers and all.
- 43:40Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 43:41Speaker 3: So everyone's like, what happened? Yeah, and then he goes
- 43:43Speaker 3: on ABC to talk about it a goose?
- 43:46Speaker 1: It was a goose.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Goose are big because I can't believe it's not butter,
- 43:50Speaker 4: but I can believe that bird had a vengeance against
- 43:52Speaker 4: my face.
- 43:53Speaker 3: He was the butter guy, remember.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Oh that's right. He was the romance novel.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Guy too, right, Yeah, dude, what a life?
- 43:59Speaker 1: Wild chicks like reading their porn.
- 44:03Speaker 3: You know that great premise.
- 44:04Speaker 1: It is true, it is, it is true, like guys
- 44:06Speaker 1: like porn.
- 44:07Speaker 3: That's what it was.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Yeah, well, girls have always been into erotic literature, and
- 44:12Speaker 1: some of it's like you remember the Fifty Shades of
- 44:15Speaker 1: Gray stuff?
- 44:15Speaker 3: Come on? Man? That was like all of a.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Sudden, ladies wanted to get spit on and choked, like
- 44:20Speaker 1: what's happening? My friends would tell me these stories like
- 44:22Speaker 1: she told me to spit in her mouth. I was like,
- 44:23Speaker 1: what did you do it?
- 44:25Speaker 3: I know? My stepdad was like, your mom wants me
- 44:26Speaker 3: to push her against the dry wall. I was like,
- 44:28Speaker 3: what the fuck?
- 44:32Speaker 1: Reel weird For a while, then it kind of died
- 44:35Speaker 1: off and went back into the shadows. But romance novels
- 44:38Speaker 1: like pornographic romance, the first said, But they're not pornographic
- 44:43Speaker 1: like visually even like the way they depict sex is
- 44:46Speaker 1: like a feminine way of doing it.
- 44:48Speaker 3: But the Fifty Shades of Gray I think was that
- 44:50Speaker 3: was graphic.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, what the fuck? What the fuck was that
- 44:54Speaker 1: all about? Ladies? Well you hide? And then there was
- 44:58Speaker 1: the Twilight one. You want to vamp that loves you.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I'll never understand that. Yeah, don't never have something.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Dude, who kills people?
- 45:04Speaker 3: I guess it's not their blood.
- 45:05Speaker 1: He's been around for seventeen hundred years. You only sixteen.
- 45:08Speaker 1: The whole relationship is disgusting. This is disgusting. You're a
- 45:12Speaker 1: thousand years old. It's a sixteen year old girlfriend. This
- 45:15Speaker 1: is home.
- 45:15Speaker 3: What do you talk about? So the werewolves and like
- 45:17Speaker 3: the yeah, just having.
- 45:19Speaker 1: He was alive when Cleopatra was here, and he's talking
- 45:21Speaker 1: to a fucking seventeen year old. This is stupid.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Would you judge someone more that was into vampires or feet?
- 45:29Speaker 3: Oh? Vampires for sure. Yeah, Feet's not that weird. It's
- 45:32Speaker 3: not that weird.
- 45:33Speaker 1: It's kind of you know, they're cute, they look good.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you could justify feet, it.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Makes sense, I guess.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:39Speaker 1: The vampire one is nuts. Yeah, Like, how old was
- 45:42Speaker 1: the vampire in Twilight?
- 45:44Speaker 3: He wasn't that they were a high school maybe right, No,
- 45:46Speaker 3: but he wasn't that old.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Like I was saying he was alive from Cleopatra.
- 45:49Speaker 3: That was bullshit.
- 45:51Speaker 1: He's really probably only supposed to be a couple hundred
- 45:53Speaker 1: years old, right, is that the case? Old? Though at
- 45:58Speaker 1: least one hundred imagine a hundred year old guy pretending
- 46:04Speaker 1: he's he's got to pretend and hang out in high school.
- 46:07Speaker 1: That's how he fits in. That's how he fits in.
- 46:11Speaker 1: One hundred year old guy's going to force himself to
- 46:13Speaker 1: go to high school. Yeah that's one hundred and four.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Okay in high school the way.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Yeah he didn't even fansome ass fuck dude, but super
- 46:22Speaker 4: pale something was up.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Well you're in Seattle, you can get away with it totally.
- 46:26Speaker 4: I went to the I think it was opening night
- 46:29Speaker 4: of Twilight when I did this movie, The Heat. It
- 46:31Speaker 4: was after Bride'smaid's Pall Feet did this movie called The
- 46:34Speaker 4: Heat was Sandra Bullock MS McCarthy. It's like a big
- 46:36Speaker 4: you know, buddy cop and I played one of the
- 46:38Speaker 4: bad guys.
- 46:39Speaker 3: First big movie, summer blockbuster.
- 46:41Speaker 4: I'm like, I heard the trailer was being played during Twilight,
- 46:44Speaker 4: and I was like, never see myself in a trailer.
- 46:46Speaker 4: So my buddy's like, we gotta go to fucking It
- 46:48Speaker 4: was like they're playing the R rated trailer, the red trailer.
- 46:50Speaker 4: So we go to Twilight on like opening night at
- 46:53Speaker 4: the Arc Light in Hollywood, rip and uh and it's
- 46:58Speaker 4: just all like what I don't know, ten to sixteen
- 47:01Speaker 4: year old girls the whole theater, and then just me
- 47:03Speaker 4: and my buddy just baked out of our minds, like
- 47:05Speaker 4: very out of place, and everything's coming on. They're like
- 47:08Speaker 4: announcing all the cast, all the girls are going nuts.
- 47:11Speaker 4: But by the way, they didn't play the trailer at all.
- 47:15Speaker 4: So we're sitting there and he's like, I'm like, all right,
- 47:18Speaker 4: let's get the fuck out of I.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Don't want to watch Twilight.
- 47:19Speaker 4: He's like, well, we're here, we should watch. I'm like,
- 47:22Speaker 4: best of luck, and I bounced. So I've never seen it.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Any of the Twilight movies.
- 47:26Speaker 1: They're not terrible, they're not they're not terrible, but they're odd,
- 47:30Speaker 1: and I don't necessarily think they're made for boys.
- 47:34Speaker 3: I think it's a weird lady's notice. Yeah it's for
- 47:36Speaker 3: the girls.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah, which are weird lady fantasy. But it's very odd
- 47:40Speaker 1: that there's a vampire movie that's specific lea for ladies.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You know what I think is what weird science? The show, no,
- 47:47Speaker 1: the movie, weird science.
- 47:48Speaker 3: When the two guys make the women on their computer.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Oh that's right, come on, dude, Anthony Michael Hall, I
- 47:53Speaker 1: forgot about that.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Great movie, Jamie, who's that lady? Jem me pull up
- 47:56Speaker 4: the whole movie. Let's watch the whole movie.
- 47:58Speaker 1: That lady is very beautiful?
- 48:00Speaker 2: Was that Kelly lebron.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Kelly LeBrock British?
- 48:04Speaker 3: I think she was.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Yeah, she was the super hotty back in the day.
- 48:07Speaker 1: That was one of the lab bro That.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Was one of the first movies I remember seeing, being like, Okay,
- 48:12Speaker 4: what is this dick really.
- 48:13Speaker 1: For Weird Science?
- 48:15Speaker 3: Great?
- 48:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah dude, yeah, well not Anthony Michael. Oh wait, no,
- 48:19Speaker 4: that's a remax. There was a TV show And was
- 48:23Speaker 4: that Bill Paxson is the crazy brother? Yeah, dude, who
- 48:29Speaker 4: made that? John Hughes come on, just had his finger
- 48:33Speaker 4: on the pulse of cool?
- 48:34Speaker 2: Wow?
- 48:36Speaker 1: How did they make her? What was the ingredients?
- 48:38Speaker 3: It was just a great question. It was you sound
- 48:42Speaker 3: like one of the parents trying to recreate her. So
- 48:44Speaker 3: how did they make that? Girl? By the way, is
- 48:47Speaker 3: wired and.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Garry I give her Mamory Glands. Wow, something.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Out of this world?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, what would you little maniacs like to do?
- 49:04Speaker 4: Fus? Oh my god, god, that's our opening question Weird Science.
- 49:09Speaker 2: They want to be a party animal. You have to
- 49:11Speaker 2: learn to live in the jungle.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Not here, no way, she is turning their lives.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Trust me for once, when you what is going on?
- 49:21Speaker 3: I don't know their minds.
- 49:23Speaker 1: The trailer is crazy.
- 49:25Speaker 3: She just wanted to make them cool, right, she didn't
- 49:28Speaker 3: even want to fuck. No, you know they must have
- 49:31Speaker 3: been like, dude, did you not put in the right code?
- 49:34Speaker 3: She's here to like take us to dinner?
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah, why would you stop with that? Let's try one
- 49:37Speaker 1: that doesn't talk as much. Let's try the next one.
- 49:40Speaker 3: I think they just did it on their computer.
- 49:41Speaker 1: It was just like a bunch of It's so easy
- 49:43Speaker 1: to do back then.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Such a funny thing too, Like we're just so trusting.
- 49:46Speaker 4: We're like, that's probably how you do it. If you're
- 49:47Speaker 4: going to do it so stupid, is just put a
- 49:51Speaker 4: bunch of numbers on your computer and your door, your bedroom,
- 49:55Speaker 4: make the boobs bigger.
- 49:56Speaker 1: That's so ridiculous, crazy. It's funny because people probably probably
- 50:00Speaker 1: thought one day, yeah, and that they might be right.
- 50:03Speaker 2: According to the plot, they hacked the hook some electrodes up,
- 50:06Speaker 2: and they hack into a government computer system for more power.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Oh, for more power.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Awesome, dude, believable plot table for one.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Oh, as long as we have more power. Yeah, big lady.
- 50:17Speaker 3: But I guess when you're watching that, Yeah, you're.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Just like, that's yeah, that's one of the odds that
- 50:21Speaker 1: it makes a hot lady like what are the oddest
- 50:23Speaker 1: ye that works? First time ever to fucking high schools
- 50:26Speaker 1: figured out and we were like, take my money, tell
- 50:28Speaker 1: me this amazing story.
- 50:30Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, I'm surprised there was no scary movie type
- 50:33Speaker 4: parody of that of them, like making the wrong gal
- 50:36Speaker 4: or something, you know, Oh my god, like John Goodman
- 50:38Speaker 4: in a in a Wig comes out?
- 50:40Speaker 1: What year was that eighty five?
- 50:43Speaker 3: For us?
- 50:44Speaker 1: What year was soul Man?
- 50:46Speaker 2: Probably eighty nine?
- 50:49Speaker 3: So, man, I haven't seen soul Man? What's that?
- 50:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, go to that? Yeah, soul Man. See Thomas
- 50:59Speaker 1: Howe pretends to be black, so you go to a
- 51:01Speaker 1: different school.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I forget how.
- 51:03Speaker 3: What the fuck?
- 51:04Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 51:06Speaker 3: Wait?
- 51:07Speaker 1: What up? Bro? No, bro, it's crazy.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Julia Louis No, it's not even good. Oh god, what man?
- 51:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Julia Louise driver.
- 51:22Speaker 3: James Earl's in it, bro? How did he sign off
- 51:24Speaker 3: on this?
- 51:25Speaker 1: Because people didn't know any better back then?
- 51:27Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, fair enough, they didn't.
- 51:29Speaker 1: They were basically just climbing out of the caves and
- 51:32Speaker 1: they were like.
- 51:32Speaker 2: What years this intentionally takes too many tanning pills to
- 51:35Speaker 2: turn a skin darker and gets a scholarship.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Meant for African American pills. He took tanning pills like
- 51:42Speaker 1: as if they had tanning pills back then.
- 51:43Speaker 3: That pretaining bed dude, I get.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Now, do you think somebody peptide now that can actually
- 51:48Speaker 1: give you a tan?
- 51:50Speaker 3: What does it do?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Is it like just jack up your melon? Somebody give
- 51:54Speaker 1: that ship to Rachel dalz All see if to take
- 51:56Speaker 1: your back?
- 51:57Speaker 4: Oh my god, did somebody pitch a Do you think
- 51:59Speaker 4: somebody was like we got we need a black face movie.
- 52:01Speaker 4: But what's the story.
- 52:03Speaker 3: And they're like, well, is it calm? He wants to
- 52:05Speaker 3: be tan? He takes too many tans too hard?
- 52:09Speaker 1: It was a yeah, and he can't get in the
- 52:11Speaker 1: scholarship any other.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Way because that must have been Is that part of it?
- 52:15Speaker 3: I guess right?
- 52:16Speaker 1: So he got a scholar American studies. Yeah, do you
- 52:19Speaker 1: have to be African American stuff? Study African American studies?
- 52:22Speaker 1: That doesn't that's just as bad as weird science. This
- 52:25Speaker 1: is funny more science fiction I found in our uh
- 52:30Speaker 1: New York Times nineteen eighty five article talking about warning
- 52:33Speaker 1: pills about getting an early tan.
- 52:35Speaker 2: They had pills for getting a tan back.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Then, WHOA, what did it do? I know like carrots
- 52:40Speaker 1: will do that to you.
- 52:41Speaker 2: His FDA replied, canton nax. And then then is not
- 52:45Speaker 2: a prove for use to be ingested for to color
- 52:48Speaker 2: the human body?
- 52:49Speaker 1: What in oral products? The use of canta nax and
- 52:54Speaker 1: in in oral tanning products is illegal. Tanning products have
- 52:57Speaker 1: been seized under the provisions of the Food Drug and
- 53:00Speaker 1: medic Act, and further attempts to import these tanning products, Oh,
- 53:03Speaker 1: it's all imported. FDA warns the tanning pills contain food
- 53:07Speaker 1: colorings that accumulate in the blood, skin, fatty tissue, and
- 53:11Speaker 1: organs such as the liver. They even caused the user's
- 53:15Speaker 1: skin to acquire and they often caused the user's skin
- 53:18Speaker 1: to acquire an orange tint. I didn't take the pills.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I took no pills. They told me to take the pills.
- 53:26Speaker 3: I said, I don't need it. I took out of
- 53:28Speaker 3: those pills. I took tomatoes.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Plus, you love the Biden cocktail. What they would give
- 53:33Speaker 1: him when he would have to do like press conferences
- 53:36Speaker 1: or a debate. The debate cocktail must be extraordinary.
- 53:40Speaker 3: It was just Capri sun and planing be gummies. Probably
- 53:43Speaker 3: it must be extraordinary.
- 53:44Speaker 1: This guy get a real tan, not a fake orange
- 53:47Speaker 1: tan sun Tan pills. You can get a real tan.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, that guy looks. Yeah, he went from
- 53:54Speaker 1: like white guy to no, they put a filter on
- 53:58Speaker 1: his ass. But they used to be able to sell
- 54:00Speaker 1: anything in the back of magazines. It would just be
- 54:02Speaker 1: a total scam. Oh really, Oh my god, you knew
- 54:04Speaker 1: it was a scam. Just the back of the Maga
- 54:06Speaker 1: stray goggles and all kinds of shit that didn't like
- 54:08Speaker 1: skymall shit. No, it was like the backup stupid magazines.
- 54:12Speaker 1: They're just fake ads. There's no rules back then. Fuck
- 54:15Speaker 1: people just scam people sell you things. It was totally horseshit,
- 54:18Speaker 1: and you're like, you're stupid enough to send your money
- 54:20Speaker 1: through the mail. You never got anything back.
- 54:23Speaker 4: I'll see some of that stuff on Amazon every now
- 54:25Speaker 4: and then, where I'm like, how is.
- 54:26Speaker 3: This up there? Like there's certain.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Amazon is a lot of fake products. Unfortunately, there's a
- 54:30Speaker 1: lot of fake supplements that are sold on Amazon.
- 54:33Speaker 3: No way.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you buy from a major company, like
- 54:37Speaker 1: pure encapsulation.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Why don't they filter trend again somehow?
- 54:41Speaker 1: Oh TikTok trend again, tanning pills, taking it again.
- 54:44Speaker 4: It's not surprising. We love our pills America. What do
- 54:47Speaker 4: we love our free speech and our pills?
- 54:49Speaker 1: McDonald's, We do enjoy a pill. This is an ad

- 56:15Speaker 1: Is there like a before and after taking that stuff?
- 56:17Speaker 2: That's what I was. That's what I did. That's what
- 56:19Speaker 2: this it's.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Only guy was.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but there's got to be like some modern people
- 56:23Speaker 1: are those that one's Ai in the second row right
- 56:25Speaker 1: with that girl with the crazy eyes.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Oh so this guy took.
- 56:30Speaker 2: It maybe interesting?
- 56:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that's the thing too. It's like those
- 56:35Speaker 4: before and after weight loss things. It's like, was it
- 56:37Speaker 4: really the product or did you just you.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Know, we were talking about last night. Brendan Shaub and
- 56:42Speaker 1: I one time we were watching these bodybuilders and you know,
- 56:46Speaker 1: bodybuilders used to die all of their skin, including their face.
- 56:51Speaker 1: What well, the more the darker skin is, the more contrasts,
- 56:55Speaker 1: more shows your muscles.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 56:56Speaker 1: So when they get like real shredded and they die
- 56:58Speaker 1: their skin like.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Super I always wondered why they were all so But
- 57:03Speaker 4: now after the woke stuff, it's become offensive to dye
- 57:06Speaker 4: your face.
- 57:06Speaker 1: So they dye their whole body and they leave.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Their face white, so they have chocolate body full chocolate body,
- 57:13Speaker 4: white face. It's so silly, it's so silly. It's like,
- 57:18Speaker 4: what are you doing?
- 57:21Speaker 1: What is this craziness you've complained about that? Look at it?
- 57:24Speaker 1: Look Look how kooky that is. That's not even the kookies.
- 57:31Speaker 1: There's some really kooky ones where people have white faces. Dude,
- 57:38Speaker 1: there's a whole video of me and Chop like with
- 57:40Speaker 1: a bunch of different examples of it where we thought
- 57:42Speaker 1: it was really funny. Man, the discipline of the body
- 57:45Speaker 1: it was weird because they, yeah, look at that guy.
- 57:48Speaker 4: That's ridiculous because he can't do his face like that
- 57:51Speaker 4: because he looks fully black. So now you just have
- 57:55Speaker 4: to accept that this is how they're all gonna come
- 57:57Speaker 4: out and look on stage and.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Just well that guy went for it. It's like fuck it,
- 58:01Speaker 1: fuck it, fucking I'm going black face. Yeah that's Bred
- 58:03Speaker 1: Brian style. Yeah you can kind of go brown face.
- 58:07Speaker 1: But if you want to get full chocolate body, like
- 58:09Speaker 1: some guys go full dark, like so dark they they
- 58:13Speaker 1: could be like straight from Cameroon. Can I say, guy's
- 58:16Speaker 1: pretty dark right there? I mean, can I look at
- 58:18Speaker 1: those squads?
- 58:20Speaker 3: That's that's what I want to know, like, and I
- 58:21Speaker 3: mean no disrespect by this? What what?
- 58:25Speaker 1: Why?
- 58:26Speaker 3: Why?
- 58:28Speaker 4: Like what makes you want to have There's a girl
- 58:30Speaker 4: I went to elementary school with and she for a
- 58:33Speaker 4: little bit became a bodybuilder, and I think I looked
- 58:37Speaker 4: at it as she had kids. I think she was
- 58:39Speaker 4: maybe midlife crisis and was just like I want to
- 58:42Speaker 4: do something where I push myself and get into shredded
- 58:46Speaker 4: amazing shape. Is how I viewed it from a Facebook
- 58:49Speaker 4: a vantage point. But like is this in you as
- 58:52Speaker 4: a kid. Is it like you have a thirst for
- 58:54Speaker 4: working out and then you just go too far? Or
- 58:56Speaker 4: is it the same way we like stand up and
- 58:59Speaker 4: having a to that and I love for it? Is
- 59:01Speaker 4: it really like I want to compete and win win
- 59:05Speaker 4: at this? It's not just about looking good. It's about
- 59:07Speaker 4: like having the best instrument and competing against other bodies
- 59:11Speaker 4: and having the best body.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Is that well literally is a bodybuilding competition.
- 59:15Speaker 3: But like, why do you like to have your legs
- 59:17Speaker 3: look like that?
- 59:17Speaker 1: What is the different? People like different things? At them right?
- 59:21Speaker 3: All right?
- 59:22Speaker 1: You know, and they clearly like being jacky. They like
- 59:25Speaker 1: looking like that, they like being they look like a
- 59:27Speaker 1: fucking living human. Incredible help they like it?
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, and there's death, there's still just people.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's people have always been fascinated by extreme bodies.
- 59:38Speaker 1: That's why Pumping Iron was such a big film. People
- 59:41Speaker 1: are fascinated by people that are willing to do this
- 59:43Speaker 1: and go that far with something. Yeah, here's the question, though,
- 59:47Speaker 1: what bothers you about it? Does it bother you? Like time?
- 59:51Speaker 1: I don't know why would you want to do that?
- 59:53Speaker 3: I guess why. I guess it's just so far.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Here's my question. Yeah, if they had a pill and
- 59:58Speaker 1: I give you this pill and all of a sudden
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you look like that, are you taking it or not? Well,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: let means no work. So when I set the lottery
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and a pill.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: So let me let me answer that question with when
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: I played Vincent Man on The Rock Show about his
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: life for a few seasons on NBC. I got a
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: trainer to bulke up. I got a little bigger, not
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Vince big. But there was a moment where a friend
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: of mine came to me. It was like, there's an
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: easy way and there's a not an easy way, and
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: I was like, what's the easy way?
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: And he did.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: Suggest like some crazy shit, and I was like, I
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: don't think I want to be look like that unless
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: the show really asked me, but I don't think I would.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Would you want to look like Canelo Alvarez? Sure? Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: sit in a pill? Yeah yeah, you take that. Yeah, it'sok,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: really good muscular physique, nothing crazy.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Nothing crazy, Yeah yeah, and no judgment.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Maybe, I uh but you would take that pill?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Right? Sure? I guess I'm more impressed.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I guess there's when Vince was one hundred years old.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I pressed by the I guess the discipline of what
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: you must have to do because I know that it's
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: not just like taking stuff to make your legs look
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: that defined and muscular, like there's.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: To be that guy. Yeah at his age, that's bananas,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: because like you look at Vince McMahon's build. I don't
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: give a fuck how old he is. I don't care
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: if he's eighty, I don't care if he's forty. Like,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: if you're built that way, you're putting in hours. Period,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You're putting in hours. There's no way around it. Like,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: steroids don't make you grow, they make you recover. Yep,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I mean they do make you grow little. I think
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: if you, I think the if you just took him
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and didn't do any work at all, I think they
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: do put some muscle on you. But that kind of
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: muscle is continual work over decades. Yeah, that guy's super jacked.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: It's why I'm so split on the baseball steroid stuff
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: where it's like Barry Bonds.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he it's the only thing fun about the game.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Give him the Royds, let him hit the ball. Are
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: we fucking stupid? Do you want to compete with China?
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Or no? That's so funny.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Do we have the means? Yes we do. Do we
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: know how it works?
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Yes we do.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: But what are we doing, skinny? What do we get
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: all these skinny hitters for?
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: That's so funny.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Oh, we go to make sure no one's cheating. Make
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: it legal. Hit all the home make it legal, make
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: it mandatory. I want every baseball player player to be
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: roided out of his mind. Just giant, fucking superhero looking
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: dudes who crush it into the fucking parking lot. Crack.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I want baseball bats broken, like five out of ten games.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Great Giraldo had a great old joke.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: He goes, I want Barry Bonds to come out as
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: one giant chest muscle. And he was saying how it's
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: so fucked that Congress was like cracking down on that
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: and taking away records. He goes, you're taking away records?
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: He goes, He goes, you know what else? He goes,
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: because they say it's an illicit substance. You know what else?
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Is an I listed substance?
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: Crack. Okay, no one's taking gold records away from Whitney Houston.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: One of my favorite Gronto jokes. Come on, but he's right,
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: and you're right. I think, I mean it is.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I need a TV show with Barry Bonds. I did,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: please George. There was a show that I did, a
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: baseball show called Hardball, where I played this baseball player.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: In one of the episodes, it was Barry Bonds was
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: like the guest for the day, super nice guy, cool,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: but he was normal sized Barry Bonds back then still
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: by the way, oh yeah, still like one of the
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: best baseball players of all time and super nice guy,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: real friendly to everybody. And it was just like, oh shit,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: that's Barry Bonds, Like this show must be for real.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: It wasn't for real, canceled, show died, but we did
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: get Barry Bonds. It was interesting because I got to
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: see him as normal sized Barry Bonds and then he
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: got there was a different fucky Jack dude. It's he
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: got fuck.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: But you still have to hand eye coordination, you stuff that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: It's not making your eyes clear, right, it's not like.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: It's definitely making your body perform better and on top
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: of that, recover quicker so you could do more work.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: So that's that's the main reason people do the recovery.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well not just the big fact, just not
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: just recovery, but your ability to work like it, like
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: especially guys who take E p O like that was
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: what the Lance Armstrong stuff and the cyclists, what they're
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: doing is so difficult for your body to compete in,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: like Tour de France that said France, like I'm sophisticated, really,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: tour de France. I felt I felt pretentious. After I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: said France, I was like, well, it's been arguing I
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: think successfully that you it's healthier to do that event
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: on drugs. It's healthier to be taking steroids and epo
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: for your body because you're asking so much of your body.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: It's so taxing and so fucking absolutely brutal that it's
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: like you probably should take something, but the problem was
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you weren't supposed to do, and everybody was, and they
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: were like blood doping and doing all kinds of crazy.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Did you ever see the documentary Icarus? Oh my god, dude,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to talk about a documentary that you have to watch,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: award winning, won a bunch of awards. It's fucking incredible
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and it's the most like the circumstances just laid out
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: so perfectly, like it was meant to be. So this
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: guy he does this documentary and Brian Fogel, right, Brian Fogel,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: great guy. Did a guest was a guest on the
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: podcast couple of times. Did this documentary where he's a
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: cyclist and he wanted to cycle this race, competing this
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: race natural and then hire someone to show him exactly
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: how to cheat and take everything that like a cheater
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: would take and just take all the steroids and all
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the EPO and all that stuff, and then do the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: same race and see what the score is, see the differences.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: So he hires this guy who's the head of the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Russian anti doping organization. Well, while he is hiring this guy,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: while the guy is prescribing him steroids and telling him
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: what to take, that guy gets in trouble because it
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: turns out they had they had doped the entire soci
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Olympics shit, the entire Russian team. There was this huge scandal.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: They had drilled a hole in the wall and they
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: were passing the dirty piss through and they were getting
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: a new bottle of clean piss, and they found it
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: through microscopic scratches in these supposedly unopenable jars. These jars
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: are supposed to be unimpossible to open, and so once
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: they sealed them off, they felt like, these will be
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: sealed until we open it. Well, then the Russians figured
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: out a way to open the jars and then they
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: would swap out the piss and put.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: In the good piss.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Oh my crazy. So now this guy lays out exactly
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: how he did it in the documentary. He lays out
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the whole program, and then he's on the run. So
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: now he's in America and he's in like witness, he's
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: like witness protection program, like they want to kill him
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: and this, yes, currently he's in hiding right now. And
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: the documentary is.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: Why you should get that.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: Danny the dick what's his name, Danny the private investigator,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: Danny Dick.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: What's his name, Dave?
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Don't dick list David. He's dead now, unfortunately.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Fuck, yeah, you said that. I'm sorry.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: This okay? So when they so this is after this,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the Russians got banned I think was the Real Olympics
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: was next after that, and they couldn't compete. They couldn't
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: compete as Russians. They had to compete as they had
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: to be independent.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Damn.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: They couldn't represent Russia if they wanted to compete in
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: the Olympics.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: To go to that extent to off just.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: He said, they doped up everybody except the figure skaters.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: He said, the figure skaters. It didn't seem to give
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: him any improvement because it was all just really fine motors.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: So they were probably doing it for a while to
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: see how it did.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: They tried everything on everybody. It's this is what happens
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: when you have a military run country that like puts
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: so much, so much pride in the accomplishments of its athletes.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Sure you know, it's like very important that it's athletes
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: show dominance like and Russia shows dominance in Olympics in
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: the most manly of events, like their wrestling is. The
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: wrestling is good to any country on Earth. Cool, maybe
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: better than.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: The Russian figure skatered upping situation. In the two.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: She was fifteen, she tested positive for the banned heart
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: medication trimtazidan. You're on that right. A sample collection from
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: the Russian death tips is ever twenty twenty one. The
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: result only reported because of Beijing Olympics in February twenty
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: twenty two, after she had already competed. Did she have
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a heart problem? I mean, is that like a medication
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: that she's supposed to take?
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: I mean the card of arbitration bandit for four years?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Wow? Interesting? So well, okay, well let's put in what
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: is that heart medication?
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Due to a contamination of a strawberry dessert prepared on
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: the same table as their grandfather's heart medication pills.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Oh explanation, and she said there was ultimately rejected as implausible.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Let's find out what the positive effects of taking that
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: drug would be in that drug and then put in
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: performance enhancing. What do you think, I mean, you think
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: it's got a performance enhancing a heart medication. I think
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: what does perplexity say? Metabolic enhances physical efficiency and endurance
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: by improving how the body uses energy, particularly by shifting
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: energy substrate used from fatty acids to glucose scalxidation. It
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: increases blood flow to the heart and stimulates glucose metabolism,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: resulting in better endurance performance. Its effects are different from
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: typical muscle building or stimulant like performance enhancers. Rather, it
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: may improve exercise capacity, stamina, and reduce fatigue by optimizing
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: mitochondrial function and cardiac energetic I want to get on it, right.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: I was just going to say, this is incredible.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: When Garrett more Plates More Days comes on, bring that up, make.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: A little bookmark Comedians that will never I mean, there's
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: no doping for us, right.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: No, except weed. Weed is definitely that's not like making
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: you Yeah, it's a superpower weeds a superpower. It's a
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: superpower for self deprecation too, you know, the one thing
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: that like the we're talking about the green room, the
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: guy who can't take a joke about himself, like he's
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: never high. No, if you're high and someone makes a funny,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you're like, oh, no, you're right.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: Do you will you have a little uh eddy or
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: little puff before you go on stage? Do you try
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: to keep it clear? Allegedly nice and slow? I like
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: this guy. I like this guy thirty. You're gonna have
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: to be Johnny Depp's agent when I go on kill Tony.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: And oh, this is the question I forgot to ask
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: about the thirty years thing. What if you just take
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: it all at once? What percentage do you get that?
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: So? Yeah, I did find out you do get it
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: all if you take it over thirty years and you
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: get a five percent increase every year for inflation.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but you if you get it all if you
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: live thirty years. Like my point was, if I win
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the fucking lottery and I'm twenty four years old, I
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: make it it thirty years. Fuck my estate. I'm just
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: saying trying to ball out here, what are you talking about?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Trying to get.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: Jamie trying to get a rose jet.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I want diamonds in my tifist.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: But you go, wow, you would huh full grill? Yeah?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Have you one day maybe when it all falls starts
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: falling apart, I'll start doing Heroin, get a grill. I
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: want to try crack.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: That's the very it doesn't Biden was talking about it.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: It's like, it sounds wonderful.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: That gives me an exact number. At the very least,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: you got to take out the thirty seven percent for
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: federal taxes.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Get to take the government takes thirty seven percent.
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: These mod that's wild, dude.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: You didn't buy one ticket, you cunts.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: You fuck it's still incoming and it's your money. Sucks you.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: You buy the.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Tickets and they're like, yeah, we got all the money
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: from it. But then we want more of your money too.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: We want money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: And then what happens after that It.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Says that depends on then the state taxes, depends on
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: where you live.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Because okay, so thirty seven percent, but if you get
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: one out all at once, is it the two billion? No?
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I mean, did you get like one point whatever the
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: fuck it is? It's also lower.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: But it's not just the thirty seven taxes that get
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: drawn out. If you take it in one payment, you
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: get less.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: It's giving me an on a five hundred and ninety
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: three million dollar jackpop. For some reason, the pre tunk
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: pre tax lump sum cash option is approximately two hundred
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: and seventy seven point six. At a five hundred, it's
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: almost six hundred.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: So you get less than half, but you you get
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: it right now.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: You're getting it tomorrow.
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: I think that's what I do.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm stupid. I would do that.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Take it all.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Tell me all right now. I don't know what's going
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to happen to tomorrow totally, especially after you.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: Do this cash dude, I would, oh man, I'd probably
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: I'd probably go to like, I'd go to Shack. I'd
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: be like, you want to make kazam tu I'd buy,
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: I'd buy a house.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: Near my folks. I'd definitely get it on and go.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: How much for a rocket?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Whoa?
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: How much? What would you your serious?
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: Bro?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: If I got to if I got to Jeff Bezos money,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: for sure, I'm buying a rocket.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: And where are you going with it?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Wherever? Wherever?
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: They barely reusable.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: There will be by then if I get that old
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: and that rich. What happened in rockets?
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: What happened to the subway system that was supposed to
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: go like La to San fran Like a minute, what
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: was that?
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: What?
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: No?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Come on? They I feel like it was that the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: boring company. No, the boring thing was like it was
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: it was gonna be some sort of the high speed rail.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, well that was really just a money scam.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Fuck do anything, almost like helicopter Uber was like, I
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: think lasted for two days.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: How much did they spend on the high speed rail project?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Let's find that out.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: I didn't say. Guess I would not have got on that.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: I don't think that they've spent at all. But there
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: is this four billion dollars in federal funding. Wow has implications?
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: What a great idea? And how much have they built?
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: None? They were like tired of what other company?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: What other company? Imagine if you hired General Dynamics whatever
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: and said, hey, how much for you guys to make
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: me train and make it go really fast? And they said,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: well I think we could do it for about four billion.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: You're like, okay, let's do it. Thanks for the then
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you give them the money, and then you know, you
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: go back ten years later. You're busy, they're not paying attention.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: You're like, hey, how's the train doing. How far you
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: guys get?
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Not great? Not great?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: We didn't get anywhere.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't get anywhere.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: We don't have any more money.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: But I thought you were telling you did you you
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: spent it on?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: What happened? Well, there's a lot of NGOs that are
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: attached to this, a lot of power Ball tickets, and
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: we had an indigenous land which is a landing acknowledgement.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: To have us a smaller version in Florida, and there
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: are people dying all the time. Whoa because people think
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: that they can beat it and they can't.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: What wait, beat it?
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Wait they think because they think that in Florida, there's
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: tons of trains going all the time. It's a normal train,
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: and you think you can get across in fat fast.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Oh so it's a lot faster than the normal train.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: What kind of train is this? It goes one hundred
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: and twenty five miles an hour?
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, regular trains like what eighty?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Oh? How many people one hundred and eighty making America's
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: the most dangerous pastor trade just because people try to
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: run across the tracks. Bro, that's so crazy.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: And now you put up stats like that and you
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: got some psycho kids that are like, we don't people
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: that have died.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: Now we got to go test the limits.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Can you show me what it looks like when it
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: goes by? Is there a video of it going by?
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: It's the Randy Johnson of trains.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I want to see drive by. Yeah, I want to
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: see what that's like. There was one that I just
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: saw from I think it was Japan. That's bananas.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Can you imagine getting hit by a train?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Oh dude, that might be good. It's be instantaneous.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess you wouldn't feel anything.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Let's see how fast it goes whoa, that's pretty quick.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: Yeah that's scary. That's quick.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: See that again? Yeah, oh man, But the one in uh,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I think it was Japan. I think Japan has some
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: new crazy high speed one that's like three times faster
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: than that. Why they want to get some quick Yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: no time to waste, motherfucker.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: I know. Time is money. Gotta get go, I know, dude,
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: that's really what it is. Yeah.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Well, they're making jets now that are going to be
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: super Sonic again. You know, after they watch this, watch this,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: motherfucker watch this. Fuck yeah wait that's not holy shit,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: holy shit, No, that's not Ai. This is Japan's new trains.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: It's three hundred and ten miles an hour.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: B watch this game. I don't watch this again. This
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: is so crazy.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: Yeah that didn't look that looks faster than the one eighty.
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: But that so that's probably saving How much time do
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: you think if you're going so eli to stan fran Is.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Like, time is money, motherfucker. Time is money. So I
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: want to keep everybody safe. Let's go thirty five miles
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: an hour and then you know what you have to
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: worry about? Train robbers They hop on board because it's
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: so slow that you grab it.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Oh wow, is that what the speed increase is for?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Like when they're going uphill people still in the train
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: robbers would jump on board. Oh yeah, it'd wait about
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to go uphill.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: What a cool life, dude, And my next life, I'm
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: gonna be a train robber.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Bro, don't do that.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: I don't know what it's gonna take Tokyoto, Osaka and
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: under an hour?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Whoa how far is that?
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: Look that up?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Don't give me kilometers, it's all, do.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: You dare give me kilometers?
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Why didn't they teach us that in school?
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Kilometers?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Yeah, they could have. We could all be using that.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: We could have abandoned this nonsense that makes us confused
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: to how the rest of the world measures things.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Three hundred and seventy five whoa Jesus Christ.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Three hundred and seventy five miles an hour is crazy.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: So it's they've been fucking with this for a while
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: and we just aren't doing it because.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: If they blew the money.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: That was but that was the only operation potentially to
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: get it going, right.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: My discussions have been talked about to get it going
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: before either the which won't happen, the World Cup ort
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: the Olympics in six All we.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Need is an additional four billion and we should be
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: on scar.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: If they're like Private said, of course we are.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Wow. I love America. It's just so filled with crazy bullshit.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: It's so it's so goddamn goose.
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: A lot of fun stuff to talk about right now, right?
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: Does it do you find as a comic the crazier
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: shit is, the more fun it is on stage?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Or No, for sure, this is faster than either flying
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: between the two cities or taking the one and a
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: half hour trip to the current Taikaido line available with
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the Japanese rail Pass. The proposed route will include stops
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: stations at Shingawa, Saga, Mihara, Kofu, Lida, and Naka Sugawa. Sorry,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: we'll go with that. Originally planned only stend as far
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: as Shingawa station. The creation of the short underground route
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: to central Tokyo. So how fast is it? I mean, where?
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: How far is it going?
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: That's kind of an hour? The distance okay on one
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: hundred miles will be located underground. Oh Jesus fillion dollars.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Scary, Oh Jesus Christ. Imagine going three hundred and seventy
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: five miles an hour.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Underground, thousand people at a time though, Oh boy, that's
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: like ten You're making me nauseous.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: Yeah, even the New York suboy sometimes goes too fast.
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: You say, the video the woman falling asleep, God bless her, dude, everybody.
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: I think it was in San Francisco, right, what a
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: woman fell asleep at the at the wheel for in
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: the subway. Nobody died, but she definitely went off the
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: track for a minute. Everybody fell over. Oh shit, yeah,
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: and then she and then everybody was freaking out and
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: she opened the door and.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: Goes, hey, chill out, We're fine.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: But like she very I mean, maybe she didn't remember
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: that she's on camera, so like they got her just
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: passing out. I mean, I'm surprised that doesn't happen more. Honestly,
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: those are crazy hours they're working.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: No, there was a person running that Still, why don't
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: do you use AI psych?
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: We got you on my new hidden camera show, we
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: got you there, We got you there. No, there is
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: a yeah, AI for the subway.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: That's how AI takes over everything. You have these kind
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of conversations, why don't they just use AI for that?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: And they I was like, you're right, you should use us.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: We could make it so efficient that it's ninety nine
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: point nine percent safe as opposed to the current level
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: of ninety eight percent safe.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: That was really good.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: We could approximately save a million lives over the course
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: of the next twenty years.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Is that what AI?
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: The sp slady just fell asleep. Yeah, Oh so she's
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: unlike a a reil.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: It's like outside in San Francisco, oh, fifty miles an hour.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: It is surprising that with the waymen.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Just fell asleep.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, just derailed, didn't crash.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's so nuts.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: And I just thought it was funny that she was like.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Ship out, look at that.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: We're fine.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Cold in the morning. Maybe wow boom, look at that.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Can you imagine?
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Oh whoa, that's nuts.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: People went down.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: That is nuts.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: Hands in her pockets like, yeah, you gotta you gotta
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: be ten and two.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I have great lashes though, yeah, great alashes. Yeah. Man,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: that's crazy. They should have a computer run in that thing.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Have you done the way moo yet?
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: No?
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: Okay, thank you.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Trader to the human race. This is a logic first
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: shot across the bow in the robot war, except the
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: fact that robot's going to drive you everywhere. I don't
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: want that my tesla here today.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: It's fine.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: It's physically the same thing. It's pretending I'm in control
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: it great trump steering, awesome. Oh, it's incredible. It drives
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: itself if I wanted to. I don't ever do it,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: But if I wanted to, I could put into dress
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: go and it just goes there, stops at every stop sign,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: stops at every stop light, changes lanes when there's an obstruction.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: So you don't have the trust built enough to allow.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: It to take care.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: I like to drive, Yeah, me too.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I want to drive. Yeah, it's fun. I like driving,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and I like being aware of stuff and paying attention.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I don't want to just drift off when just like
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: let the computer do the work. But that's coming, it's coming.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Are you a road trip guy?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: No, I don't have time for road Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: I asked you that question.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Road As soon as I came out, went a bago
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: with the kids in the bag across the country.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: That's me.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean the amount of gigs
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: early on that I do. The amount of times I
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: went from Elia to San Diego, or Eliot to Santa Barbara, Eliota,
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: Sam fran or Sack for eight ten minutes. I remember
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: Tripley had some room and Santa Barbara. I would drive
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: eight minutes, then come back, then host a Fear Factor
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: live show at Universal the next morning at nine am,
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: just for and I did drive Sam out there or whoever.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: It was just to get time. But I always liked it.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: But as far as like a cross country road trip,
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: That's not a road trip though, that's just roadwork.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: Yeah, but five six hours felt like a road trip.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Well, it's a lot of driving, that's for damn sure.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh but okay, I guess. But road trip, a
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: classic road trip, like.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Not even for work, just like a road trip. Just
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: go on a trip, see the country, pull into place.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd like to do it.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I mean, there's some people. Do you take time off?
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: I will next week real, yeah, I would go home
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: to I know, well just because I have I mean,
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: it's like we have the last Field show coming up.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: I'm on the road, uh with club dates for the
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: rest of the year, and then I start my theater tour.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: First theater tour January through April of next year. So
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: that's on sale right now, Adam raycomy dot com. But
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: I don't know, so many shows and then last Phil
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: and then writing a bunch I don't know. I'm there's
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: to me, there's not enough time of the day. But
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: going home to Seattle for Thanksgiving will be the shutdown
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: because I or my nieces and nephews. I want to have,
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: you know, a lot of time to kick with my
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: mom and just start stand up up there. I did
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: one open mic before I moved to La just to
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: feel like I did it, and then I went to
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: see one to five started in seven is when I
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: like jumped in. I did a few frat parties during college,
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: only going off the confidence that I did at Once
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: in Seattle for what a reason? That you know, you
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: need the delusion to start even trying to do stand up.
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: So for whatever reason, I was able to ride the
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: experience of Once in Seattle and go up at a
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: frat party and just bomb.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: I mean, I gotta find that footage.
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: I got a few laughs when I made front of
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: bike cops, and then I did a little crowd work
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: because the girl started booing.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: I was four.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: It was before a band, and the band was an
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: hour late, and then I had the balls to do
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: all thirty minutes that I practiced. I should have done
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: five and gotten off because the band was ready, but
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: I was like, I practice thirty.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I'm done at thirty.
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: Can you imagine?
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: And then this girl started yelling shit out and I
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: yelled shit back and got some laughs, and that's all
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: I remember about it. And my buddy's armber just got
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: off and they were like, man, that was how long
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: were you up?
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: There?
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Never a good sign did nothing about what you did.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: But but but really started in seven at the store
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: and everywhere.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: You do need that delusion in the beginning A thousand percent. Yeah,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: you need to be slightly delusional because the dream is
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: so ridiculous.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: It's so there can't be any part of you that's
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: like people really want to hear what I have to say?
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: Am I really funny?
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: I mean it's just like and I you know, I
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: had done plays, so I was felt comfy on stage.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: But that's what's so funny when you know there's a
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: kid that I'm not mentoring but just giving advice to
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: you every time he asks, and he's unfortunately looking for
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: you know, I think with just clips and everything now,
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: he's just like he's looking for shortcuts. And I'm like,
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: I don't want to tell him not to do it,
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: but I'm like, man, you're just like you're not focused
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: on kind of what I was telling you, which is
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: control you can control, which is getting on stage all
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: the time, writing all the time, living a life worth
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: writing about. Is what I tell this kid a lot,
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: because I'm like, if you find yourself he's a little
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: too isolated, and I'm.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: Like, you need to get your job back.
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: So you're just accumulating life experience, having things to pull from.
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: But uh yeah, I can't imagine starting now.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Well, it's got to be.
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: Because you're so focused on like I got get that clip.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Uh huh. Now, it's kind of it's a difference sort
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: of environment, right, the clip environment, Like that's how guys
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: are promoting their work.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: It's like when it's a blessing a curse. It's definitely
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: a blessing. The only curse would be because it doesn't
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: preclude you from still doing a lot of open mics.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: It doesn't preclude you from working and you know, opening
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: for people, and but it can give you like an
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: undue amount of success, like if you have like a
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: really good crowd work video and then a bunch of
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: people come out to see you, but you really only
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: have ten minutes. Yeah, you know, which happens to some folks. Yeah,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: because it's tricky and you don't necessarily want people watching
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: you the first year or the first two years, now
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: even maybe in the first three.
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: Oh my mom came out to see me too soon.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: It was bad.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: I did a joke.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: Let me see if I remember I said something about
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: I was raised Oh so stupid. Just a classic misdirect
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: that go like, I was raised by a single mom.
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: I grew up with just my mom and my sister,
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: so so I was like sensitive and blah blah blah
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: and making a joke about maybe being gay because I
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: was raised by two women. So I go, so my
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: mom taught me to like be kind and nice and
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: take a guy out to dinner before you lick his asshole,
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: and like would get about this response and then I
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: would go, just kidding, I wouldn't take him to dinner. Bro,
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: that was maybe my third time. One says, And my
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: mom came to that show. It's my sweet mom, little
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: jew from Olklaholma. She just remember after the show, she's going,
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: did you have fune?
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: But the delusion to think, like I don't care if
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: mom's here, I'm doing the joke I wrote. I mean,
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: if you can call that a joke, but.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Well, yeah, well it's also good a part of being
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: young too. When you're young, you're just especially dudes, we're
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: just stupid. We are, yeah, and you think you could
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: do anything dumb ass, but eventually you can.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's like you're gonna have to suck
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: at the beginning. It's just with everything you do. You know,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: if you picked up ping pong tomorrow, you're gonna fucking suck.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: I thought about that ping pong. I thought about trying to.
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: I love ping pong, do you?
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: Oh? I love it?
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: Oh, I fucking love it, dude.
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: It's so it's probably how I don't know how cool
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: is for you, but like it's relaxing, even though I
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: know it's a little and it's and I shoot the
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: shit a lot with whoever I'm playing with. It's a
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: real like mindless almost because I don't play video.
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: Games really anymore. And what happened.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: Moved out of my apartment, left the table. There have space,
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: now have a house. I should fucking definitely buy one.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: I will suck you back into that now dark hole,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: that dark pong hole, that dark.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: Hole of video games.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: And I feel games are too good right now.
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: Oh I do give me no thanks, dude. I played
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: Halo over last holidays.
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: With my brother and I was really high. He was not,
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: and I started to like, I just had panic attacks.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: It was too real. My heart was palpitating. I was
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: just like he and he got in my head. He
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: was like, dude, I can't believe you let our guy die.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: And I was like, wow, he's like he's got a family.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: I was like, fucking it was asked too much.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe it's not for you now, Jamie. What was that?
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: Did I send you that thing with those goggles that
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: you could use on Steam?
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: Dude, your brain is awesome.
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: I'm so glad of going back this because when you
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: brought up the goggles early, I was like, fuck, we
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: got off that.
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: But I'm really curious about that. So thanks for getting
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: us back there.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: This Steam goggles is some new thing that I saw
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: that there's like a component that goes on the outside
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: and there's a battery pack and it can either directly
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: sync up to your computer or it works as a standalone,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: and it's showing you, like ar all the video games
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: that are on Steam. It seems fucking nuts. Right.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of available now though.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Right, but there's a new one that's supposed to be
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: even better. That's that's the one that I say, I
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: sent you that video, right yeah, but.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: I'm just saying like this, it's not I don't want
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: to shoot on it too bad, but please do.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: It's not because I want it.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not unfortunately, like you can do this now.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Okay, But my point is this is supposed to be
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: really good, the new one, and you could play games
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: like what games are on Steam, the Steam Steam up Quake.
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: So that that's a misunderstanding. I think you're misunderstanding that
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: You can't play any game that's on Steam.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: That's not what that meant.
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: I get.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: So VR games are available through Steam, and you generally
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: have to connect the wire or something. I remember that
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: that giant set up we used to have back, Yes,
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: we were playing those games all through.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Steam, okay, and we had it set up through a wire.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Yeah, And so like the on a like an Oculus headset,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: which is what this is sort of comparing itself to. Right,
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: you have to download those games directly to that or
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: like have it connected to your phone, right and without
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: an extra wire or another device. You couldn't easily play
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: Steam games before recently, but you kind of can now.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: And so that they've updated advice to be like, okay,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: we'll do that too, that we just put all.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: Tech in a This is my question, the obvious one.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: How long before you can play VR quake?
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: That said they'd have to develop that in there, and
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: I don't think that they want to. And also in
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: a multidistion, it's too fast. You'd get sick, you would throw,
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: you'd get sick.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: You get everywhere.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: There's no good movement. Fine, there's no good movement.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: I'd feel great.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: I'm just saying this.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I'd do it fasted.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: I could put the roller coaster thing on free right now.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: You probably that's a hard.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Yeah, hard, No, I'm sure, I'm kidding, but I want
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: to try. I just feel like if they really did
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: VR quake and you're you're on one of those treads
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: you ever see those They strap you in at the waist,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: these treadmills, and it's like a circle and you can
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: run in any direction. No, yeah, it's like a contained circle.
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: Cool.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: What are they called multidirectional treadmills?
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Is that?
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: What they're called omni omni directional treadmills. So it's like
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: it's kind of like you're attached with like cables and
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: you just run on this treadmill and you know, you're
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: running and shooting at things, and like you're probably getting
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: some legitimate exercise, especially if you're doing some game. We
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: got to run from zombies. You know you're running, you're
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: fucking gunning them down, and you're running, gunning down zombies.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: Probably amazing all up something that's not available yet. They
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: call it the hollow tile, which is an updated version
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: of that, which doesn't have to be on a treadmill.
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: Like you're you're not attached to anything. This guy's just
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: standing still and walking. Whoa but this again?
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Like, but wait a minute, are they like beads? How
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: is that working?
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: I call talk to Disney.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: I don't fucking okay. That doesn't seem like you can
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: go fast.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: Well that's the You can't really go fast than this either.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: You can't go fast.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: I'm sure no one. No one has.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: If everyone really liked it and it was that good,
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: I would me and red band this right, yeah, and
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: it's just it's not that good.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: Well what's it look like? Now? Let me see what
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: you got. Let me see a dude doing it. Total
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: game changer. That's that guy's sandals, and tell me if
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: you want to be him.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: Wait, here's his David Oh, verified buyer. Let me read this.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: I dude's get sandals with socks on.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: I love my Omni one. It has been a total
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: game changer, game changer. In just four months of thrilling
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: action pack gaming, it has shattered my weight loss plateau
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: and dropped an incredible forty additional pounds.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: Oh well, having an absolute blast. See that's what I
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: was thinking. It could be legitimate extra Yeah are those
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: that's his sneakers they're strapped in. I thought he was
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: wearing socks with sandals.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: Like.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: That's the wackiest ship. That seems kind of I have
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: to do it.
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: Most people don't want to be active while they're playing
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: video games. It's just like their counterintuitive things.
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but we're not talking about most people.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: Jam, we're talking about talking about a couple of athletes.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: We're talking about me wanting that thing in my life.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: So when when he's running on that thing, what does
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: it look like? Can we show me a video of
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: someone using one like i'd.
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: Be doing to go to the prehistoric era and chase, fight,
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: kill whatever it is dinosaurs, but be moving and shaking
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: right versus just being station Yeah. I want to run
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: from stuff. I want it's virtual reality. Should be as
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: real as possible.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: It's supposed to be scary. I mean that's and also
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: you get a workout, and oh, that looks actually kind
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: of cool.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: He's cleaning so far forward there to do that, like
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: that's not comfortable.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: But is he doing that on purpose?
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: I probably not, probably trying to make it work.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: Oh bro, those sort of awesome You're you are not
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: dissuading me. This looks amazing.
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: This could be the oh my god, the problem too.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: This could be the only game that works.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I want to shoot those things.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: You got to get Martin Phillipson.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: What other is whatever the things are happening in that game.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: This is kind of my point with all of your
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: I've tried to tell you before, if someone made a
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: really good game by now ten years into this, everybody
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: would know about it. We have talked about it. Yeah,
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: a bunch.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Okay, what just not? What games can you play with
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: this setup?
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: I've never I don't know. I don't know anybody that's
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: ever us wet on the outside of the shoes?
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: What are those?
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: He's got something on the outside of.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Right, It's like a strapped thing, just like the other
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: one was.
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: It's so funny to see how far we've come. Remember
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: the Nintendo trackpad. I mean, dude, we are just leaps
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: and bounds past that.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: I think those things must have some sort of a
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: sensor that lets you know where the foot is at
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: any given time. That makes sense, right, so the game
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: would know. That would be the way the game would
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: detect whether or not you're moving forward. Oh, this seems
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: so awesome.
- 1:35:04Speaker 4: Well, with all the stuff they do with the motion
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: capture for the sports games, it's pretty incredible.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: But if you could play games like Quake where you
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: could actually be holding up a plastic rifle and you're
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: running down these all ways shooting down monsters and ship.
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: Well, think about playing if you were playing like a
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: Madden and you could like feel the impact of taking
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: a hit or running like I did.
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: That was not as in the middle of this. Uh
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: you know this gel blaster things. What's that Like, Tony
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: gives away kill Tony. Yeah, it's like a little BB
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: gun in the jel blas. It's a little gel BB's
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: I guess Okay, they've hooked it up and made it
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: computerized and you have sensors on like VR or like
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: laser tag. Laser tag. They put up giant things for
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: you to run around. Cool and it's scoring the whole time.
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: The cool voices talking to you and say like, good
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: job you did it, like watch your health get back reload.
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: Birthday party idea. Joe, have you ever done paint Yes?
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I did paintball when I lived in Boston and there
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: was this place that had like it was like a
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: warehouse that had all black lights. Cool and you had
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: neon paintballs. Oh my god, and you had wars like
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: with other teams. It was so much fun. Oh yeah,
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: they fucking light you up real people. Yeah, when they
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: hit you, you're like, oh shit, that hurts. It actually hurts.
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: I got one to the lower back and ship.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: It is fun. It's very exciting. They still do it
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: right yea, oh fuck yeah they do it. People get
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: super serious. They have like really sophisticated paintball guns now
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: when they can shoot like multiple rounds, like semi automatic
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: paintball gun. My god, like a big giant bottle at
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: the bottom filled with paintballs. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: My buddy did one for a work like team bonding thing.
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: Oh he's like.
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: It did not end well, Like people were fucking just
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: it was almost like a work conference where people got
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: fucked up and maybe cheated. It was just like a
- 1:36:51Speaker 4: version of just people taking out, just people being you know,
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: just cheap shots, and also people getting hit and going
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: after people they didn't like.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: And yeah, but oh yeah, oh.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: No, people getting their aggressions out and their employees shooting them.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Fuck you, Joyce Sally, you shot her in the face.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: She's on your team? Well, I made is never on my.
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: Team hair, Oh my god, Oh my god.
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: She's never on my team. That bet. Yeah, you imagine
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: having to work with someone you hate.
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: Imagine like eight hours every day with someone you fucking hate,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: doing something you hate, with someone you hate, some shitty
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: fucking person. You share a cubicle with no man right
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: next to you, get it, Yeah, right next to you
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: talking shit, that fucking bitch.
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: There's no way to spin it.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you're stuck. And then you gotta like behave with
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: the office culture.
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: And I bet groceries at Alberson's for a little bit,
- 1:37:55Speaker 4: and there were some people there.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: That sucks, but like, you know, I didn't see them
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: every Like.
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: You're moving around, moving, Yeah, but if you're locked in
- 1:38:02Speaker 4: a cube, oh what a bummer.
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: That's a fucking.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: Horrible Thank god, fuck, thank god, we were delusional, thank god.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: Right, we need more delusional people out there. That's why
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: I'm a big supporter of adderall like more people Quigal sponsors.
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I did it once, did I did it once?
- 1:38:18Speaker 4: And I went out to I was doing There's a
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: year after I graduated, and my buddy was like, come
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: out to the West Hollywood Halloween party with me. He's like,
- 1:38:27Speaker 4: it's supposed to be crazy, like two hundred thousand people.
- 1:38:29Speaker 4: I don't know if you ever in La saw that.
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: It was like up and down Santa Monica Boulevard, just
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: the ultimate chaos right in the gay part of LA.
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: And so I was like, oh, I'm going to do
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: some content then, so I got my buddy with the
- 1:38:42Speaker 4: camera to like interview people because the costumes. Jeff Scott
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: from the story used to go down there all the time.
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: The cost he would build, elaborate costumes, people would spend.
- 1:38:50Speaker 4: I mean I talked to a guy who said he
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: spent eighty grand on a full Batman suit.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: I'm not joking. So I and there.
- 1:38:57Speaker 4: Was a guy, there's a guy Adam and Eve There're
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: just buck naked with a couple of things, and I'm
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: just talking to everybody.
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: I think it.
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: I may have taken off my YouTube, but uh, I
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: was so tired. And my buddy was like, you want
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: an adderall and I've never done it, and Joe I felt,
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: I have never done it since I was two thousand
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: and six.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: I felt unbelievable.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: Dude, that's what scares me.
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: I felt unbelievable. And I was locked in.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: Dude, you were telling me something right there. You were
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: ready to sell some real estate.
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: I've never snapped it anything.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: It was a bit a.
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird, right, Yeah.
- 1:39:29Speaker 4: I was so focused, but I didn't feel like my
- 1:39:31Speaker 4: heart was racing too fast.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: It was incredible. Yeah, this is the problem. Sounds incredible.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: It's like when Hunter Biden describes crack like that sounds incredible.
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: Wait, that's the way. The only reason I didn't do
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: it is gonna sound too good. Yeah, you know, under
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: my administration, we had the first black mermaid.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: Who's that, Biden? Who's the black Mermaid?
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: The little mermaid that was black?
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: Oh that's right, I forgot. Yeah, I missed that. I
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: missed that outrage.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, great name for a title of a special outrage.
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: I missed that out right. Oh maybe it's a little long.
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: No, it's not bad.
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: Missed that outrage you jamming on another one.
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: I am putting together material now you know that the
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: weird process of subtraction, deletion, addition, expansion. It's like fucking around.
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: I'm doing it at my own pace, so I'm not
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: thinking about I'm just thinking about having fun and doing
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: things that I find interesting. Like you know, it's like.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: You don't need to I mean, what it happened?
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: What's up that I was gonna say? Having a club and
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: having to not go on the road, it's huge, and
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: it gives you a chance to, like I think sometimes
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: when I don't know, a lot of people have this issue,
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: Like you do a special and then you're supposed to
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: go on tour like four or five months later, and
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: you don't really have enough material yet, so you start
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: putting together stuff that you think will work rather than
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: stuff that you really like. Whoa you know.
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: So that's that's where my head's at. Yeah, talk about
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: stuff you really like. And sometimes it's hard. Like the
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: subjects that I'm really interested in right now, some of
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: them are just not that funny. They're just too weird.
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: It's hard to figure out a way to make some
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: of these ideas into comedy.
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: When you're giving yourself ample time to marinate and play around.
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: If you don't have like a I'm going to shoot
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: something in Yeah, I mean I don't know having I
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: guess there's again.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: Goals are good too, totally because they force you to work,
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: they force you to like you have like a sense
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: of urgency. I think at a certain point in time
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: a goal is good too. But I also think there's
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: a meandering period.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: But explore.
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, otherwise you get to get stuck.
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm doing my first weekend at the Mothership in February.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: I'm fired up. Oh yeah, fired up, very exciting. I
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: mean just being there. Last night Shane brought me up. Man,
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: he murdered. Fuck it so funny.
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: Were you guys on the Late Show?
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: Yeah, nice.
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: And I went over to see Queens of the Stone Age.
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: They were doing this a cl live.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: Yeah they're here tonight. Yeah, Tony's going tonight.
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: They were so good, dude, they're great.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: There.
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: I met Josh the first Doctor Phil live show we did.
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: Bird did at the store and he brought Josh and
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: he was just like, yeah, Bird told me he was
- 1:42:10Speaker 4: doing the Doctor Phil show and I was like, what
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: the fuck? Is that and we just became homies and so,
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: uh he came, U invited me over there, and it
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: was I didn't see that ACL live studio before.
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: It's like a TV studio, but it's three levels and
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: it was like a really intimate probably five hundred Jimmy,
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: have you been there?
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where that one killed Tony was.
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: I thought you were saying studio was confused.
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: Well, it's like a I mean, yeah, I've done it. Okay,
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: oh wow, it was awesome, but then ripped it. Dude,
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: they're there.
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: I feel like them Foo Fighters, Like there's a handful
- 1:42:44Speaker 4: of bands that you're just like you guys are rock stars, dude,
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: and Josh sounds so fucking good vocally and the band
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: is so dialed in.
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: I mean there's I think six of them in the group.
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: And uh, that was awesome. Man.
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a nice guy. I hadn't the podcast once
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: back in the day. Nice back when in the LA days.
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: Uh, we got a Queen's of the Stone Age poster
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: up in the green room. Tony showed it to him.
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: He's like, oh that's fucking great, awesome. Yeah, Adam gave
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: it to me. I was like, oh, this is so
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: such a cool photo.
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: And here my friend Josh gaming in this poster. I
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: don't want to have him. Norm liked him too.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: I was gonna see him.
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: Man, that's pretty close. It's all right, that's all right,
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: it's prettyo you.
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: I know when I first met Adam eg, I love
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: this guy.
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: I don't think I've ever told you this story the
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: Tempion Prov when he was booking the Tempion.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: Prop That's when I met him.
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: He twenty ten, from three years into doing stand up.
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: He comes to the Hollywood Improv. He's trying to just scout,
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: like you know, young comics to come out and feature
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: at the Improv. He they gave him jurisdiction to start
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: bringing people out to like feature and just you know,
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: we'll fly you out, put you up.
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: And so I meet him at the Improv and he's like.
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: Man, I think you should come out and do You're
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: known Jim Florentine and maybe you can feature for him.
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: Florentine ended up breaking my ankle playing an outdoor basketball
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: game with Sam Tripley. Shattered my ankle and couldn't go,
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: and then Matt Broker was gonna be there in December
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: and he's like, no, you can do the Broncer weekend,
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: but like it's also the holiday show, so.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: You gotta be clean. And I was like, fine, I'll
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: just take out the f bomps. I was not filthy.
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: Aside from that, I did have one joke that was
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: this like psa joke about how, like, you know, it's
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: all these celebrities talking about things that you like can't
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: really relate to you need like a guy. It was
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: always like, you know, you know, Johnny Depp being like,
- 1:44:27Speaker 4: you know, you need to read more to your kids,
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: you know, blah blah blah. And then it would be
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: I was like, why isn't there a guy that's just like,
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: what's up?
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: My name is Cameron.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: Life gets tough, you know, so make sure to tell
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: your doctor to please refill on your Vico in order.
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: That way you can sell the pills for ten bucks
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: apiece to your deadbeat pill Poppin's friends and finally get
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: enough cashed by that twenty inch physio flat screen that
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: your slutty ex girlfriend said was gonna take up too
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: much space in the apartment. Well, good things. She showed
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: you her bipolar side because now you're free from her
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: bullshit Annecks fuck you bet you dumb hunt and.
- 1:44:56Speaker 3: I have like a PSA at the end of it.
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: I did that at the show and I said cunt,
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: and I got fired from the weekend and Adam comes
- 1:45:03Speaker 4: up to me and he goes, oh, man, I put
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: me in a tough position. Man, I got to fire you.
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: And I was like what, and he goes, I told
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: you to be clean. I go, I know, I totally
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: fucked up. I rolled the dice. They had me go
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: up and do ten and then five and then ten again,
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: and I was crushing and it was great. But the
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: owner at the time, I think he's passed, was super
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: like conservative Christian and even though all the holiday parties
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: were coming up to me and being.
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: Like, dude, super funny, I was great.
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: Adam's like, dude, we have to Like the manager at
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: the time, this guy named Eddie, was like, we got
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: to get this guy out of here because if there
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: are complaints, then we like we got rid of the problem,
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: you know. And meanwhile I'm looking up and I'm seeing
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: Bronger kind of cursing in whatever.
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: And the manager was like, well, he's the headliner.
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, I think I'm being used
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: as a scapegoat, but I get it because I didn't
- 1:45:48Speaker 4: tell Adam i'd be clean and I fucked up.
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: Adam though, then comes over with me.
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: He felt bad that I felt bad that I fucked up,
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: and we go to the bar next door. We rip
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: it up, we chat and we stayed in touch and
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: like he did like hold it.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: Against me and then, uh, still a homie to this day.
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a good dude. You know that's uh, you're
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: not supposed to say cut when you're on a clean show.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Part of the thing. Yeah, fucked up?
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was until that point.
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: It was the last joke I did, and I just
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: rolled the dice and I started doing it, and I
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: wasn't savvy enough to like, I was like, this is
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: how it ends?
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: Have you always been able to like do impressions like
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: this is there?
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: This?
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: What is that? I don't know, just becaues you do
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: a lot of impression pretty good, hear. Yeah, Yeah, where'd
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: that come from? When did you start doing that.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: And personing teachers and friends? As a kid.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: I think I was a real big kid and there
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: was a girl that ever the first impression I remember
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: doing was this girl named Annie and she was like
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: the young hawk girl in school and everybody had a
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: crush on her, and my I had bigger tits in her.
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: I was a real big kid, and she had a
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: real big crush on my buddy. So I remember I
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: prank called my buddy as her with a couple other friends,
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: like pretending to be her calling him, and and he
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: believed it, and we had like a twenty minute conference
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: fourth grade.
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: Yea, I was here.
- 1:46:59Speaker 3: What it's sounds like, Well, I can act. I can remember,
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: I can tap into how I would do it, because it.
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: Was like in the back of my feet, it was
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: like really like, hey, Evan, what's going on?
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: Obviously my voice is way deeper now, but that's what
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: I would do.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: Is a problem. I'd be like, who the fuck is this?
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: And how big is your dick? This is crazy?
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: Hell, I'll send you a link. So then I would
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: start doing what size shoe do you wear?
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: Evelyn?
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: Evelyn, you're killing the comedy names for these bits. So
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: teacher's friends, and then I did uh. I went to
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: my friends like water sports camp that was like all
- 1:47:35Speaker 4: it was a Christian water sports camp, but there I
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: was buddies with them, so like, yeah, you.
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: Can come and like just skip the Jesus talk. I guess.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: Even though the guy tried to convert me. He was like,
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: I know you're a Jew, but you're the only Jew here.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, it doesn't feel like a conversation
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: we need to have about that.
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: He was trying to convert you. Yeah, how do you
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: do it?
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: I can't totally remember, but it was something about the
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: your dick did at metting Jesus into my heart. He's like,
- 1:47:59Speaker 4: in Jesus, love to see if you could fit around this.
- 1:48:03Speaker 4: But I remember for the Talent show, I did like
- 1:48:05Speaker 4: I did a bunch of impressions.
- 1:48:07Speaker 3: I did, like what I do.
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: I did a I think a Clinton and a Cosby
- 1:48:10Speaker 4: and that age twelve, and then I did a master
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: splinter from Ninja Turtles and like Mike Tyson, I just
- 1:48:17Speaker 4: I don't know. I think I always have a pretty
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: good ear, but like all this stuff.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: But I want to go back to how this guy
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: try to convert you.
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: Oh he had a Bible, he wouldn't he just sat.
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: I got out of it pretty quick because I was like,
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: I'm here for the jet skiing and the camaraderie, and
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: he was like, I think you're really missing out on
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: letting Christ into your heart.
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: He's like, and he kept asking me like, is life
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: going great before you? I'm like, I don't know.
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: My mom's holding out four or five jobs like I
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: can afford. You know, she didn't buy me Jordan's, but
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: I got the I got the Patrick Ewings.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: You know, we're doing okay.
- 1:48:48Speaker 4: And he just kept trying to be like, you could
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: be doing better than you are now and Jesus will
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: fix that.
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: It was like kind of the more worst now. Yeah,
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: Jesus is going to fix you.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: Yeah, whole life. He's like, do you know why your
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: dad left? WHOA? Yeah, he did not swear to guy. Yeah,
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: he brought up a little divorce because.
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: Because you didn't have Jesus in your heart. I don't
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: know if he was going to have Jesus in his heart.
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: That was probably insinua if you found Jesus. How does
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: the dad get back into question?
- 1:49:12Speaker 3: Great question?
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: Doesn't he doesn't? This is terrible logic.
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he went hard in the paint. Who's a
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: young guy too?
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: Those are always sus. Yeah, those young heart in the
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: paint guys are very sus.
- 1:49:22Speaker 4: Yeah, he was trying to. I think he was almost
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: like he's a young door door salesman. He was like,
- 1:49:26Speaker 4: if I can convert the Jew on this camp, maybe
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: I'll get my I'll get Delta status, I'll be God.
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh, it's a weird one, right.
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: But the uh but the voices, I just I don't
- 1:49:38Speaker 4: know an ear for it. I guess, you know, like
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: being but I don't even having doing the character stuff
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: and having being able to actually transform helps a lot,
- 1:49:47Speaker 4: being able to like see myself.
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: That guy into your act. The guy is trying to
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: hurt everybody. I really should, to be honest.
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: Johnny Depp, and the guy who's always trying to convert
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: everyone to Jesus, and Jesus will fix everything that's wrong. Everything,
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: everything that's wrong.
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: I guess. And I just I didn't know enough about
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: it to give him. I don't know.
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: I also just like I don't know, man, I'm pretty
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: reform with Judaism anyway.
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: Like you know, when I was in college, when I
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: was at UMass, there was this girl that was in
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: my class. It's really hot Puerto Rican girl with classes.
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: She was so pretty and she was really friendly and
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: she kept inviting me to these things, Like she invited
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: me to this weekend retreat that her and her friends
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: were going to, and I was like, whoa, this is crazy.
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: This really hot girls inviting me to go to this thing. Yeah,
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: you know, I felt like I was kind of a loser,
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: like why is she inviting me?
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: But I couldn't go. I had an event, but I
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: forget what I had. I think I had a fight.
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: I forget. I was still competing back then, I think,
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: And so then might not have been well, I don't
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: know what the fuck it was. It might have been
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: a comedy show back then. Actually, now I think about it, it
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: was probably early nineties. Yeah, So when I was in class,
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: we all found out that there was a play crash.
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: It was one of the Trump planes. Trump had an
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: airline for a while. I don't remember this, Oh Trump Bear. Yeah,
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: and one of the planes the landing gear didn't come
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: out right and the plane like skid across the one
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: way and the people lived and they were fine. So
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: I'd heard about it, and they were all sitting eating lunch.
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: So I went into the lunch room and I said, Hey,
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: do you guys hear about the plane? Crash and they
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: go no, I go, yeah, this is crazy. I go,
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: everybody lived. What happened was the plane skid to the
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: runway and the landing gear didn't come off, so it's
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: like just the bottom of the plane. But everybody lived.
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: And then the late the hot Puerto Rican god goes, oh,
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: praise God, Praise God. Then they all started saying Praise God,
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: Praise God. And I was like, oh, you guys are
- 1:51:46Speaker 1: trying to get me to go to a religious retreat.
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, okay, I thought you were going to
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: the bang bus.
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: So then I started asking questions. So I'm like, so
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: are you guys like hardcore Christians? Like what are you guys?
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: And they're like, yes, you know, and what we wanted
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: to invite you to, you know, take Jesus into your
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: life and to join us in this channels like, yeah,
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that, but thank you. Now
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: I know why you wanted me to go. I thought
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: she liked me, Bomber. It was a bummer, yeah, but
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: made more sense. I was like, Okay, that makes sense. Yeah,
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: trying to recruit, and that's how they do it. They
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: get this hot girl to recruit people.
- 1:52:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean smarter.
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: They're smart. But I wonder what it was really because
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: it seemed a little cultish. It seemed really odd. It
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: wasn't just like, you know, there's a lot of Christians
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: that I know that are great people, and if you
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: told them about a plane crash, they'd be like, oh,
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: thank God, thank God. But it would be like a
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: normal way to say thank God. You know what I mean.
- 1:52:37Speaker 1: It was a weird praise God, Praise God. They were
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: all saying praise God, and it was it was odd.
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: It wasn't as simple as all thank God. Everybody's okay, yeah, well,
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: thank goodness, yeah, thank God. You know, Oh I pray
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: for those people that they okay, that's normal. Yeah, there's
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: something about praise God, praise and all of them.
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: Saying and I was like, oh no, yeah God, damn,
- 1:53:00Speaker 3: I drink this justice.
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: It was like like I was in a zombie movie
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: where everybody's turning. I was like.
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: A woman came out with me after my show last
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: weekend and goes, I heard you talk about being nervous
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: flying on stage, and I ran to my car and
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: I know you're a Jew, but I brought you a Bible,
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: and I go, I'll think I'll right, and she goes, well,
- 1:53:18Speaker 4: wouldn't you like to know, like where you're going when
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: you die if the plane goes down. I go to
- 1:53:25Speaker 4: be honest, no, I'm I'm rocking out to my favorite
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: Phil Collins song, hoping that the plane reroutes itself and
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: we actually live. If the plane is shaking in a
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: certain way, I don't just go all right, well at
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: least I'm going I'm like, fuck, no, I hope we
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: get out of this. But she was like, oh, well,
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: you wouldn't just and then she kept pushing it and
- 1:53:43Speaker 4: she was like, I really think Jesus, and.
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: She kept going off.
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: And then I go, with all due respect, like I thought,
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: you just came a lind to take a picture and
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: say hello, you know, I hope you had a good
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: time with the show. She goes, I'm gonna go try
- 1:53:54Speaker 4: that guy, and it's my opener. I go, he's more
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: jewey than I am, so best to luck. And she
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: went over to him and I see him going like,
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: you know, like I trying to be nice, to be
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: like you know it's and I was very I try
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: to be very you know, sweet and be like thanks,
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: but no thanks. But she's just so pushy.
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: Man. There's a lot of people that it gives me
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: and she would judging validation, and she.
- 1:54:15Speaker 3: Didn't like that.
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: You'll follow what they're doing, like and they also want
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: to like guide you, they want to help you, And she.
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: Thought I was not control you.
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I got no problem if you're like, I want
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: to shoot my shot and see if you're into this.
- 1:54:29Speaker 4: But once I was like no, thanks. But then there
- 1:54:31Speaker 4: was a shifting rise of like, oh, you're this well, she.
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: Really believes it. She's probably schizophrenic. She's probably got a
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: mild touch, just a touch of the skits. The skin
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: is touch of the skin. There's a lot of folks
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: out there with a touch.
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: Sure, I don't think all full blown.
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that are just like oddly
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: out of touch. We just got to go. I don't
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: think you and I are experiencing the same game.
- 1:54:54Speaker 4: I'm trying to cross the sidewalk, you're trying to eat it.
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: You're on some weird level where you're not seeing things
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: the way everybody else does. Yeah, very weird. But some
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: people are like that, and they ruin the idea of
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: religion for a lot of folks because it's like you
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: associate religion with like kuks.
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's yeah, I don't know, to need being a
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: good person.
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: It's a pretty easy formula too. That's I have one
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: friend that's just so God blessing. He's just so hardcore
- 1:55:22Speaker 4: conservative Christian And I'm like, do you need all that
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: to just fight being a good person? Like, isn't it
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: like there's some golden rules you can follow treating people
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: the way you want to be treating what it's it's
- 1:55:32Speaker 4: just too much in my opinion, you know, But.
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: Yeah, well I think it's a good it's like a
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: good scaffolding for morals and ethics. That's the best thing
- 1:55:46Speaker 1: about religion. And if you follow people that are like
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: devoutly religion most religions. There's a few religions that preach
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: some sort of some pretty radical violence, but for the
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: most part, what they're trying to get you to do
- 1:55:59Speaker 1: is a better person. They're trying to get you to
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: follow morals and ethics and don't lie and you know,
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: love your neighbor and be a kind person totally. But
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: you can do that without again, you can, but it helps,
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: it really does. And there's something about like going to
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: a church where everybody has the same thought. You're all
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: there for the same reason. You're all there to give
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: you your mind, like give your consciousness, like think about
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: the concept of this higher power and think about what
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: these lessons that are in the Bible really refer to
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: and what they really mean and what actually really probably happened.
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: And it's interesting because you meet like the nicest people
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: that do that. They so it does work. That's the thing.
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: It's like you could get hung up in the weeds
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: about whether or not you believe you know, Adam and
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: Eve were the first real people. Like that seems a
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: little suss, you know, the whole Noah's Ark, like what
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: that seems a little suss. But I think outside of that,
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: what you're really dealing with is a bunch of stories
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: where people trying to accurately depict real events, but doing
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: it after hundreds of years of just telling stories by
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: the campfires, and a lot of it's distorted by translations,
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: a lot of it's distorted over time. But I think
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: they were trying to say something, something very profound, and
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: I don't know what really happened, but I think what
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: they're trying to do is give you some sort of
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: a history of human beings on Earth. It's just a
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: very weird one because if you get into the whole Testament,
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: like the Old Testament has some wild shit in it. Man,
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: you get into like Ezekiel's story of seeing the wheel
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: within a wheel and the sky and like heads of
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: animals and all, like what the fuck did you see?
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: But people that follow Christianity that actually do follow it
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: and are like real Christians or some of the nicest
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: people I've ever met in my life. So my point
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: about that is, like, you can get hung up on
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: the weeds whether or not you think it's a stupid
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: thing to do, but man, it works. It makes for
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: nicer people, sure, and so that's why I support it.
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: I support that idea of any religion that makes you
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: not like even Mormons, it's kind of ridiculous. There's there's
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: a guy, Joseph Smith who wrote it. He was fourteen. Yeah,
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: he seems to be a little bit of a con man,
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: you know, said he found golden tablets that contained the
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: lost Work of Jesus, and when they said, well where
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: is it, they go, oh, the angels came and took
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: it away because they didn't think you believed only he
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: could read it because he had a magic rock. Like, okay,
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: that's crazy. Wow, you get your own planet when you die?
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: What?
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: Okay? But Mormons are the nicest fucking people on earth totally.
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: They are the nicest, fucking friendliest, sweetest people.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: And now they have their own show, The Secret Wives
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: of Mormon.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: Do they I haven't watched it.
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: It's like incredibly popular, is it? Yeah? Is it any good?
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: I try to watch one episode. I think my wife's
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: into it. It's definitely it's a real it's a real
- 1:58:56Speaker 3: housewives type show.
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: Yeah, but they're getting that girl from it apparently is
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: not gonna be the new Bachelorette.
- 1:59:01Speaker 3: So that's how popular it got.
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: I saw an ad the other day for the Golden Bachelor.
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: They're letting old people fuck bro. It's yeah, the old
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: people get after it.
- 1:59:11Speaker 3: It's bro.
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: It's the guy was like seventy seven, the woman was
- 1:59:14Speaker 4: like seventy four, but she looks seventy three.
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: Wow, and they get after it.
- 1:59:18Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, it's like do they make out? Oh, broy,
- 1:59:21Speaker 3: they're I mean, it's really it's like they've got one
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: last shot at love.
- 1:59:25Speaker 1: Whoa is that really what they're saying.
- 1:59:27Speaker 4: Yeah, no, we'll see if when they wake up from
- 1:59:30Speaker 4: their nap, if this match is really a true match.
- 1:59:32Speaker 3: Oh boy, yeah, and they've all lost somebody. I mean
- 1:59:35Speaker 3: I watched the first season. Oh it was gripping.
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: Oh there's something about being lonely and old.
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: Well, they've all all there, you know, The Bachelor, The
- 1:59:45Speaker 4: Bachelor and Bacherette are just like, you know, my name
- 1:59:48Speaker 4: is Kimberly and you know I'm twenty nine. I'm like,
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: I'm just tired of fuck buys and Golden Bachelor. She's like,
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: my name's Teresa. I'm seventy five. My husband died four
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: years ago. I don't know if I'll have me see
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: I know the penis, but I hope I do. I'm paraphrasing,
- 2:00:05Speaker 4: but she's jumping back in and the guy was like, dude,
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: Prince Charming, he looked like Vince McMahon.
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: Fuck Pat Sajak.
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: What was the one where they.
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: Turned out to be a creep though, by the way,
- 2:00:15Speaker 4: he told lem Me says real quick there, this reward
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: just came out. One of the girls goes who got
- 2:00:20Speaker 4: picked The Golden Bachelor picked her, and she goes, Yeah.
- 2:00:23Speaker 4: They split shortly after because he was just fucking a
- 2:00:25Speaker 4: lot of people. This guy was seventy five. He was
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: just cheating on her. She goes, Yeah, he took me
- 2:00:30Speaker 4: on a walk and said, if I ever kill you,
- 2:00:32Speaker 4: this is where I'll chop you up and leave your body.
- 2:00:34Speaker 4: That report came out like three four days ago. Whoa,
- 2:00:37Speaker 4: that's what the Golden Bachelor said.
- 2:00:39Speaker 1: Did they vet this fella there?
- 2:00:41Speaker 3: I said that, Jerry, I think and Teresa.
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: Jesus, he looks like your guy.
- 2:00:47Speaker 3: Who would chop you up? Why say that?
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: Looks like a guy that would say it at least?
- 2:00:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah?
- 2:00:52Speaker 1: What was that show where they had these young guys
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: like these older ladies like MILF's Milk Island. Yes, and
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: then it turns out to be the sons of the
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: other ladies on the show and they start hooking up.
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: Stop yeah, stop.
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: I couldn't even bring myself to watch it.
- 2:01:12Speaker 3: I don't want to be shit have hosted that dude was.
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: Already hosted people eating animal dicks on two dude, I
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: think there's a special place.
- 2:01:20Speaker 3: By the way, Thank you. That was such a good show.
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: Milf manor milf manor so that's the story, right, Like
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: they brought in the sons of the other ladies.
- 2:01:30Speaker 2: They put out a trailer and they were very vague
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: about what the.
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it is. I mean, these hot MILFs
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: and then you know they have like twenty year old
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: sons and then the twenty year old sons of the
- 2:01:39Speaker 1: island just banging your mom's friend.
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: Why isn't there just anal Island at this point? I

- 2:02:00Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a thing where cases you have to show government.
- 2:02:03Speaker 2: I d Season two of Milf manner.
- 2:02:06Speaker 1: They've had it.
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: Oh my god, they've brought in the fathers to get
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: in the mixed.
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: Oh god, it's a fucking orgy, disgusting, multi generational.
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: That Where are they now? Where are the start?
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: I mean, the only two seasons it's pretty new.
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: How's it doing?
- 2:02:24Speaker 3: Great? Question?
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: Here's the thing. It's like, who the fuck is watching TV?
- 2:02:27Speaker 2: The moms are really not much older than me, which
- 2:02:29Speaker 2: is tough.
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: Who would have ever thought that? Yeah, that's how old
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: of the moms.
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: Almost all in their forties. There's a couple in there.
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: And they're hot. Let me see some photos we're dealing with. Yeah,
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: because you know, you got to fix there's a lot
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: to choose from out there. A lot of milks want
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: to get on. If you had a milk show, you'd
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: probably find quite a few candidates, I thinks out there
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: in the world, I think, so, yeah, let's see what
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: what do we got here, Jamie see some of the
- 2:02:54Speaker 1: it's on HBO?
- 2:02:55Speaker 3: Is there a host for the show?
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: Wait? This is on HBO. The plate the fucking place
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: that brought you the surprise, now it brings you milk
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: manner too.
- 2:03:04Speaker 3: We're hitting on HBO. It didn't give me hot single
- 2:03:08Speaker 3: mom's dad in a unique You're really in.
- 2:03:10Speaker 2: The HBO show?
- 2:03:12Speaker 3: Okay, HBO?
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: Oh I see? Oh, okay, okay, okay, what do I
- 2:03:15Speaker 1: feel better about that? I was like, HBO goes some
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: Game of Thrones to this. Oh a lot of pretty ladies, Okay,
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: they look good.
- 2:03:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: Yeah, if there's some twenty year old dude milks, yeah, sure,
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: especially the black lady.
- 2:03:31Speaker 3: She's very hot.
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: Geez Okay, oh boy, god, yeah, we're banging it out. Pops.
- 2:03:37Speaker 3: Wait so there.
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: Oh so the guys are taking their shirts off and ship.
- 2:03:41Speaker 3: Okay, that's good, mommy man, or too.
- 2:03:44Speaker 1: This is this weird culture of everybody wanted attention, so
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: strange reality TV.
- 2:03:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so fifteen minutes of fame and then you
- 2:03:53Speaker 4: can take that fifteen minutes and turn it into a podcast.
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: Or is that the.
- 2:03:57Speaker 1: Most popular type of television in these days? Is reality TV?
- 2:04:01Speaker 1: Is that the most like? What is popular these Joe?
- 2:04:04Speaker 3: I think so? I think that in like true crime
- 2:04:07Speaker 3: ducks And then I'd say.
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: But like regular TV limited?
- 2:04:11Speaker 3: Serious, Yes, you know, I just watches the murder.
- 2:04:14Speaker 4: You know, that's the whole story of the murder guy
- 2:04:16Speaker 4: Alex Murda killed his wife and son and no the lawyer, Man,
- 2:04:21Speaker 4: have you heard of this jame?
- 2:04:24Speaker 3: This happened probably I think twenty eleven.
- 2:04:27Speaker 4: High powerful lawyer in the I think the Midwest, and
- 2:04:32Speaker 4: his son was driving drunk in a boat accident and
- 2:04:35Speaker 4: with all his friends and one of the girls flew
- 2:04:38Speaker 4: off the boat and died, and so the dad shows
- 2:04:41Speaker 4: up at the hospital. He's just super powerful dude, and
- 2:04:44Speaker 4: was already like stealing money from his like business, but
- 2:04:47Speaker 4: he like went into the thing and tried to like
- 2:04:48Speaker 4: curb the story to the other kids, being like who
- 2:04:51Speaker 4: was driving the boat that type of shit, And then
- 2:04:53Speaker 4: the story got real just slippery and whatever, and everyone
- 2:04:58Speaker 4: was like, oh, and then the kid got off off
- 2:05:00Speaker 4: because of the dad, and the families tried to sue
- 2:05:03Speaker 4: and it just didn't really happen because the dad was
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: so powerful. And then come to find out that, uh,
- 2:05:09Speaker 4: the dad is stealing money from the business.
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: And then the mom and him are having.
- 2:05:14Speaker 4: A bad relationship and the kid is getting bullied and teased,
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: and then he ends up murdering his uh, he ends
- 2:05:21Speaker 4: up murdering his wife and youngest son because he's got
- 2:05:24Speaker 4: a pillow problem. He's going to go to jail for
- 2:05:27Speaker 4: uh for uh, you know, tax obasion and money laundering
- 2:05:31Speaker 4: and stealing from his business and and uh anyway, he's
- 2:05:35Speaker 4: now serving life in prison. Holy Joe, you I don't
- 2:05:38Speaker 4: know what you watch, but it's dude. Patricia Arqutt and
- 2:05:41Speaker 4: Jason Clark are unfucking real.
- 2:05:43Speaker 3: Dude. I just finished it today.
- 2:05:44Speaker 1: Oh so it's a recreation of this documentary.
- 2:05:47Speaker 2: Well, the doc has also happened to it just happened still,
- 2:05:50Speaker 2: I think some events are still being unfolded.
- 2:05:52Speaker 3: The doc is also incredible.
- 2:05:53Speaker 1: Well what's the official trailer that you just showed me.
- 2:05:55Speaker 1: That's a different thing.
- 2:05:56Speaker 2: Oh so this was the Neflix two years ago?
- 2:05:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, but that's the documentary.
- 2:06:00Speaker 3: Yes, so the show just came out.
- 2:06:02Speaker 4: Oh, basically dramatization, but you know that they have all
- 2:06:05Speaker 4: the facts and Joe, it's it's wild how they end
- 2:06:08Speaker 4: up finding out that it's him.
- 2:06:09Speaker 3: He did not cover his bases at all. I mean
- 2:06:12Speaker 3: he but he tried to.
- 2:06:13Speaker 4: He tried to like throw the phones away and then
- 2:06:15Speaker 4: he drove to his mom's is like an alibi.
- 2:06:17Speaker 1: Look how creepy his hands look in that photo? What's
- 2:06:19Speaker 1: going on with that? Why is his hands covered in blood?
- 2:06:21Speaker 3: Oh? Man? Probably just to allude to the murder, But I.
- 2:06:25Speaker 4: Guess so like that that to me, Like, but again,
- 2:06:27Speaker 4: it's murder and it's drama, and it's a limited series.
- 2:06:30Speaker 3: I think it was just eight episodes. People learned to
- 2:06:33Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 2:06:34Speaker 1: But the reality to kill your.
- 2:06:35Speaker 4: Wife and your son, yeah crazy, just to just to
- 2:06:40Speaker 4: uh create a distraction basically and be like and victimize.
- 2:06:44Speaker 3: Himself to be his wife and his son, who he
- 2:06:46Speaker 3: said it was.
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: People that are probably coming after for the whole boat
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: accident because the town had kind of turned on the family,
- 2:06:51Speaker 4: being like the kid got away with it because he's
- 2:06:54Speaker 4: a powerful attorney and they whatever. And so he tried
- 2:06:56Speaker 4: to go and he cried, and they came and he
- 2:06:58Speaker 4: was like, he's probably the guys that were upset about
- 2:07:01Speaker 4: the boat thing and we getting all these hateful people
- 2:07:04Speaker 4: coming after us.
- 2:07:05Speaker 1: And yeah, how long did he get away with?
- 2:07:07Speaker 4: Even cried on the stand. He's still to this day. Yeah,
- 2:07:10Speaker 4: he still to this day maintains his innocence. But they
- 2:07:13Speaker 4: put everything together, dude. And on the phone, there's a
- 2:07:15Speaker 4: phone that his son had before. You hear the dad
- 2:07:17Speaker 4: says he wasn't down at the kennels when they were
- 2:07:19Speaker 4: saying by to the dogs before the mom took off
- 2:07:22Speaker 4: and was like, I'm gonna divorce you.
- 2:07:24Speaker 3: I'm going to live at our beach house. So he
- 2:07:26Speaker 3: also was sad about that.
- 2:07:27Speaker 4: And there's the son had his phone out videotaping the
- 2:07:31Speaker 4: dog and you hear Alex in the background talking and
- 2:07:34Speaker 4: he said he wasn't there.
- 2:07:35Speaker 3: So that was a big red flag where it was like, dude,
- 2:07:37Speaker 3: you're on the fucking video. Crazy god, But yeah.
- 2:07:42Speaker 1: She kind of guy that's like willing to murder his
- 2:07:45Speaker 1: son and his wife is not thinking straight. Yeah, he
- 2:07:47Speaker 1: said he was on pills. What kind of pills man
- 2:07:51Speaker 1: oxyes or something.
- 2:07:52Speaker 3: You think so yeah, yeah, something that was just numbing everything.
- 2:07:55Speaker 4: And some heroin hayes yeah, with a gun yep. And
- 2:07:59Speaker 4: then he's in jail and his older son comes to
- 2:08:00Speaker 4: visit him and he's like, Dad, did you do this?
- 2:08:02Speaker 3: What's going on? He's like, dude, look at me, of
- 2:08:04Speaker 3: course not. Why Why would I kill you? Mother?
- 2:08:06Speaker 4: He's like there was somebody out there, and he goes
- 2:08:08Speaker 4: he's like, I'm sorry, I lied about being there.
- 2:08:10Speaker 3: I was there, but I was.
- 2:08:11Speaker 4: There and then I left and then I went to
- 2:08:13Speaker 4: go visit your grandma and then that's when it happened.
- 2:08:15Speaker 3: I mean, the timeline just doesn't. I mean it doesn't.
- 2:08:17Speaker 4: So his son's just like like realizing my dad, yeah,
- 2:08:21Speaker 4: and being like and you're lying to me.
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: You won't even even in jail. You're just like in
- 2:08:25Speaker 3: jail forever. And then he even goes, he goes, thank.
- 2:08:27Speaker 4: God I left, Otherwise they could have you know, gotten
- 2:08:30Speaker 4: me too, wild, dude, imagine just committing that hard to like.
- 2:08:37Speaker 1: A this monsters are real. There's some people that are
- 2:08:41Speaker 1: just real monsters.
- 2:08:42Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:08:43Speaker 1: Like, what do they say? What percentage of people are sociopaths?
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: Like complete sociopaths they have no empathy for other people?
- 2:08:49Speaker 3: We've clocked that there's a percentage.
- 2:08:50Speaker 1: I think they think there's like a certain measurable percentage
- 2:08:53Speaker 1: of people that walk amongst us that are complete sociopaths.
- 2:08:56Speaker 1: WHOA and even if they don't do anything horrible, they
- 2:08:59Speaker 1: really don't care about other people, Like they don't have
- 2:09:01Speaker 1: any feelings about other people.
- 2:09:03Speaker 3: Both of those are attached to being a sociopathy.
- 2:09:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think probably there's a connection of narcissism
- 2:09:08Speaker 1: in there too, But okay, one to four percent percentage
- 2:09:11Speaker 1: of people who are sociopaths, often associated with antisocial personality disorder,
- 2:09:16Speaker 1: is generally estimated to be around one to four percent
- 2:09:19Speaker 1: of the general population. More specifically, some studies suggest about
- 2:09:23Speaker 1: one to two percent, with around three percent of males
- 2:09:25Speaker 1: and one percent of females exhibiting sociopathic tendencies. One notable
- 2:09:30Speaker 1: estimate is that approximately three to five Americans could be
- 2:09:33Speaker 1: sociopaths or have ASPD, with some sources citing one in
- 2:09:37Speaker 1: twenty five people four percent having as having sociopathic traits. Interesting. Yeah,
- 2:09:47Speaker 1: we got to think sociopaths are disproportionately represented in prison populations.
- 2:09:51Speaker 1: The thing about sociopaths, though, I don't know if that's
- 2:09:54Speaker 1: a nature or nurture thing you know, to have, like
- 2:09:57Speaker 1: no empathy? Is that something that happened because of some
- 2:10:00Speaker 1: that happened to you as a baby. Probably it could
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: be like you you just because everyone cared about you,
- 2:10:05Speaker 1: you didn't care about anybody, Like you never developed an
- 2:10:08Speaker 1: ability to care. Or is it because I know some
- 2:10:10Speaker 1: people that were terribly treated when they were young, but
- 2:10:12Speaker 1: they're great people. Yeah, they're kind and sweet because the
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: fact they were treated so poorly, they're really kind and
- 2:10:18Speaker 1: sweet to other people.
- 2:10:19Speaker 3: You could develop that, right.
- 2:10:21Speaker 1: What's the difference though between is it? That's the question?
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: Is it like something wrong? It's like, could you be
- 2:10:27Speaker 1: a good person still be a sociopath? Like where like
- 2:10:30Speaker 1: you really don't care about other people, but you just
- 2:10:31Speaker 1: do the right thing because it seems like the right thing.
- 2:10:33Speaker 4: Is Yeah, but like like just because you weren't hugged,
- 2:10:35Speaker 4: maybe a ton as a kid or.
- 2:10:36Speaker 1: Maybe you, but I'm getting at that. I don't know.
- 2:10:39Speaker 1: Maybe it's not. Maybe it's a genetic thing. Maybe it's
- 2:10:41Speaker 1: just a weird like you didn't get all the ingredients,
- 2:10:43Speaker 1: you know.
- 2:10:44Speaker 4: Could be Yeah, what a bummer, because I feel like
- 2:10:46Speaker 4: that's a pretty common human thread to have empathy. Oh yeah,
- 2:10:49Speaker 4: and compassion, like that's what's what keeps us together traits.
- 2:10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's like people that don't want that, Like
- 2:10:55Speaker 1: you don't want friends like that? What you don't care
- 2:11:00Speaker 1: about people?
- 2:11:00Speaker 4: You kind of need empathy and compassion to interact with anybody,
- 2:11:03Speaker 4: don't you, like in any situation to you.
- 2:11:06Speaker 1: Could fake it, right, you could fake empathy and compassion
- 2:11:10Speaker 1: if you're a real sociopath that's got a lot of
- 2:11:13Speaker 1: time like tricking people, Like your whole life you've been
- 2:11:16Speaker 1: tricking people. Maybe you're a real good politician. Yeah, you
- 2:11:18Speaker 1: don't know anybody like that. And so then yeah, and
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: then so you get to this point where that's like
- 2:11:23Speaker 1: you're just really good at pretending that you care about
- 2:11:26Speaker 1: everything and you really care about nothing.
- 2:11:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, what's your best quality?
- 2:11:31Speaker 1: Mind? I have no idea, what do you like?
- 2:11:33Speaker 3: What do you If you had to like.
- 2:11:35Speaker 1: Are we on a date? This is crazy.
- 2:11:38Speaker 3: You're a likable guy, Like what do you like? What's
- 2:11:40Speaker 3: your like?
- 2:11:40Speaker 4: I don't know what do you what do you leave
- 2:11:42Speaker 4: with your your outlook at life? I'd say that, right,
- 2:11:44Speaker 4: you're a glass half full guy.
- 2:11:45Speaker 1: I have a good outlook. Yeah, But I've also been
- 2:11:48Speaker 1: very lucky, you know. So there's a lot of that,
- 2:11:50Speaker 1: Like you have to really take any luck though, some
- 2:11:53Speaker 1: of it sure, but some of it is just you know,
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: you don't get hit in the head by a meteor.
- 2:11:58Speaker 1: You know, you don't die in a car accident. Like,
- 2:12:00Speaker 1: there's some of it is just flat out luck. There's
- 2:12:03Speaker 1: part of life that appears to be very random, sure,
- 2:12:07Speaker 1: and that you can't control. So anybody that's like successful
- 2:12:11Speaker 1: at all, there is a percentage whatever the percentage is, thirty,
- 2:12:14Speaker 1: whatever it is. There's luck.
- 2:12:16Speaker 4: There's luck, but you worked everything you did as far
- 2:12:19Speaker 4: as like having this for sure, get her attitude and
- 2:12:21Speaker 4: put yourself in positions and then make good on those opportunities.
- 2:12:24Speaker 1: Right, But it's also luck. You have to have that too.
- 2:12:28Speaker 1: You have to have a bunch of like things that happened,
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: you know, in the right order for things to work
- 2:12:35Speaker 1: out well. Because we all know like really talented people
- 2:12:37Speaker 1: that for whatever reason never got it together. You know,
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: especially in comedy, because there's so many people that we
- 2:12:44Speaker 1: know that were like really talented, like they had something
- 2:12:46Speaker 1: special and they just never followed through or they just died,
- 2:12:50Speaker 1: or they couldn't deal with the rejection, they couldn't deal
- 2:12:52Speaker 1: with the bombing on stage, they couldn't deal with the
- 2:12:54Speaker 1: hours that you have to put in, and they fell
- 2:12:56Speaker 1: fell off. There's a lot of guys from the early
- 2:12:59Speaker 1: days where I was like, Man, this guy's gonna be
- 2:13:01Speaker 1: fucking huge.
- 2:13:02Speaker 4: You think there's more people that like if you started
- 2:13:05Speaker 4: then versus now would drop off because again, like we
- 2:13:09Speaker 4: were talking about with clips and just having more ways
- 2:13:11Speaker 4: to be discovered or have more opportunities to have more
- 2:13:15Speaker 4: of a eight.
- 2:13:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you had a very few chances back in the day.
- 2:13:19Speaker 1: The chances back in the day were real simple. You
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: had to either get on Evening you get the Improv
- 2:13:24Speaker 1: or the MTV half hour Comedy Hour or Letterman. Letterman
- 2:13:27Speaker 1: was like the Golden Goose or the Tonight Show when
- 2:13:30Speaker 1: Johnny Carson was running it. If you got on the
- 2:13:32Speaker 1: Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was running it, like you
- 2:13:34Speaker 1: could literally legitimately have like a full career, and that
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: a career back then was a club comic. A career
- 2:13:40Speaker 1: was a touring club comic.
- 2:13:41Speaker 3: So you just named four opportunities. Yes, that's fucking it.
- 2:13:44Speaker 1: Were really hard to get on too, well, the Letterman
- 2:13:47Speaker 1: one was. The ones that were easier to get on
- 2:13:50Speaker 1: was like they filmed a lot of those MTV half
- 2:13:53Speaker 1: hour comedy hours, so a lot of people got on those,
- 2:13:55Speaker 1: and you really only needed like seven minutes. Yeah, so
- 2:13:58Speaker 1: there was a lot of those and that helped. And
- 2:14:00Speaker 1: then so you could say, as seen on MTV's half
- 2:14:03Speaker 1: hour comedy Hour and someone comes see you at the
- 2:14:05Speaker 1: comedy Hut, yeah, and then you're out there, you know, working,
- 2:14:08Speaker 1: But there wasn't a lot of things that could turn
- 2:14:12Speaker 1: you into like an act that could draw on the
- 2:14:14Speaker 1: road anywhere. You were basically like, oh, this guy was
- 2:14:18Speaker 1: on Comedy Central, so he must be funny. Let's take
- 2:14:21Speaker 1: a chance to go see him. And then if you
- 2:14:23Speaker 1: did it a bunch of times, you develop like a
- 2:14:25Speaker 1: following in certain cities where people would come back to
- 2:14:27Speaker 1: see you again because they had a good time last time.
- 2:14:30Speaker 1: But now you know, all you have to do is
- 2:14:34Speaker 1: just have a clip and that clip goes viral and
- 2:14:37Speaker 1: then you're selling out theaters like right away. So it's
- 2:14:41Speaker 1: definitely more opportunity for someone to pop. And there was
- 2:14:45Speaker 1: a lot of guys back then that had like great
- 2:14:47Speaker 1: bits and they just fucking never got the show. They
- 2:14:52Speaker 1: never got this. They developed the alcohol problem whatever.
- 2:14:56Speaker 4: It wanted more consistent stability, and maybe just wanted to
- 2:14:59Speaker 4: like income.
- 2:15:00Speaker 1: That was yeah, there's a lot of that too. Or
- 2:15:02Speaker 1: they get married and have a child and then the
- 2:15:04Speaker 1: wife was like, Hey, you need to get a regular
- 2:15:06Speaker 1: fucking job. This dream is crazy. It's killing us. You
- 2:15:09Speaker 1: got to be home, you know. You can't go out
- 2:15:11Speaker 1: in the weekends every weekend and make two hundred dollars.
- 2:15:13Speaker 1: It's crazy, you know.
- 2:15:16Speaker 4: Yeah, my brother in law was rapping and slinging weed
- 2:15:19Speaker 4: and then they got pam. My brother law was a
- 2:15:22Speaker 4: white rapper Nameddte shout out and he uh. My sister
- 2:15:28Speaker 4: when they got married was like, yeah, you can't be
- 2:15:29Speaker 4: doing Like she didn't shut down the performing, but she
- 2:15:32Speaker 4: was like.
- 2:15:32Speaker 3: The drug stuff's gotta yes, not good. Yeah, we got kids, Like,
- 2:15:36Speaker 3: you shouldn't be a drug. People shouldn't be coming to
- 2:15:38Speaker 3: the house.
- 2:15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, daddy. Good advice, Yeah, sound advice from a woman.
- 2:15:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she's cleaned them up.
- 2:15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the The dream of trying to make it
- 2:15:48Speaker 1: in the rap world is probably just as hard, if
- 2:15:51Speaker 1: not harder, than the dream of trying to make it
- 2:15:52Speaker 1: in comedy.
- 2:15:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:15:53Speaker 4: He had a nice little run. I let him close
- 2:15:55Speaker 4: out our Seattle Doctor Phil Live show.
- 2:15:57Speaker 1: Oh real cool?
- 2:15:57Speaker 3: Yeah, we did like the neptune up there.
- 2:15:59Speaker 4: It's like at the eleven hundred seats, my nieces who
- 2:16:02Speaker 4: never get Phil wrapped?
- 2:16:03Speaker 1: How'd it go?
- 2:16:04Speaker 3: Awesome? Murder?
- 2:16:05Speaker 1: Is he killer? Pull him out?
- 2:16:06Speaker 3: Dirty? Pull him up?
- 2:16:07Speaker 1: Let me hear it. Tell everybody where you're gonna be,
- 2:16:11Speaker 1: Tell everybody how they can find you online. Yeah.
- 2:16:14Speaker 4: On tour right now, clubs the rest of the year.
- 2:16:16Speaker 4: Last Doctor Phil Live at the will Turn December sixteenth.
