- 4:43Speaker 7: isn't anyone's backup mate. He's his man, he's his own man.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But anyway, last night, we were on the couch and
- 4:51Speaker 2: we were watching TV and I said, you know what,
- 4:54Speaker 2: because I was thinking about how she hit a crush
- 4:56Speaker 2: on a celebrity and I was like, you know, you're
- 4:59Speaker 2: still few about it. I wasn't afuming and no I
- 5:01Speaker 2: wasn't paying it back, like there's nothing to pay back.
- 5:04Speaker 5: But we're watching.
- 5:07Speaker 2: As like would have a location, location location the UK.
- 5:10Speaker 5: One are you not come on?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Man?
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I was like, you know how, I quite fancy
- 5:15Speaker 2: and like she's older than me.
- 5:16Speaker 5: But the woman off location, like the English woman.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Are you joking?
- 5:21Speaker 5: He's Hirsty.
- 5:23Speaker 8: I think.
- 5:25Speaker 5: You don't even know it names. Come on, man, it's
- 5:27Speaker 5: clitles class brother.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Kirsty is it Kirsty and Phil? Yeah, Kirsty. I like her, man.
- 5:34Speaker 5: She's funny. Do you mean in a sort of she'll
- 5:36Speaker 5: do kind of way.
- 5:37Speaker 2: No, I would never like anyone and she'll do kind
- 5:39Speaker 2: of well. I like her, you know, like she's quite
- 5:41Speaker 2: funny and a bit spunky, funny looking and lady and
- 5:46Speaker 2: she's I think it's the like she helps people get
- 5:48Speaker 2: their house. She's good with a hand on a hip,
- 5:51Speaker 2: she always has a hand.
- 5:52Speaker 3: On a hip.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And she's a bit sassy, which I love as well. Yes,
- 5:55Speaker 2: and then I said that, I said, sassy, what do
- 5:58Speaker 2: you think? I said, Assie as.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I maybe I get it casy. My inclination too is older.
- 6:09Speaker 3: What do you mean, wow?
- 6:11Speaker 5: You know like old?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well you know what I mean in terms of
- 6:13Speaker 3: back in the day.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right. But then my wife was kind of
- 6:17Speaker 5: like oh.
- 6:18Speaker 2: And then she was like, oh, I don't know if
- 6:19Speaker 2: I want you watching location, location location now. And then
- 6:22Speaker 2: I was like, well that's all we watch. And secondly
- 6:24Speaker 2: we always watch Grand Designs in New Zealand.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Yah, And that's all good. It's all g for you
- 6:28Speaker 5: to be, you know. So she was just a bit dribbling.
- 6:31Speaker 5: She was a bit.
- 6:32Speaker 2: She's not dribbling, not since I've got it the bib.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Funnily enough, my wife actually admitted to me the other
- 6:38Speaker 3: day because she she she went pedro for a while
- 6:44Speaker 3: Pedro pascal Is. But then she said, I have to
- 6:48Speaker 3: say old Ryan Gosling and behind the pie, behind the pipe,
- 6:53Speaker 3: beyond the pines. That was hot.
- 6:55Speaker 5: He's on a motorbike, he's got the bleach blonde here.
- 6:59Speaker 3: So I've just been and dating her with nudie shots
- 7:02Speaker 3: of him.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Nice anyway, year me so the lady from location. And
- 7:08Speaker 2: I was just wondering on three four eight three, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 2: does anyone have a celebrity crush?
- 7:13Speaker 5: And do you usually a weird one like that?
- 7:14Speaker 2: Well, it's not weird, it's just don't yuck my young
- 7:17Speaker 2: I and it's very you hang on three four eight three.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Do you have a celebrity crush and do you tell
- 7:22Speaker 2: your partner about it?
- 7:23Speaker 5: Yes?
- 7:23Speaker 2: And does it make things weird? Every text on three
- 7:25Speaker 2: for eight three and the draw for fifty bucks cash.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I like, you know powerful woman. Oh you're like Helen
- 7:32Speaker 3: Clark more your Jenny Shipley. Do you mean powerful like
- 7:37Speaker 3: strong bastards? Well, both like that could pick me up
- 7:41Speaker 3: and throw me down.

- 8:07Speaker 3: talking kind of an inverted commas celebrity crushes.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Way only inverted commons.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Well, because you're one such a shocker that I mean,
- 8:17Speaker 3: I wouldn't I mean, I don't mean she's a shocker.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I mean, I wouldn't take she was a huge celebrity.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Sure, she's a massive celebrity.
- 8:25Speaker 9: She is.
- 8:27Speaker 3: For TV.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I guess we hang on, well, what's wrong with TV?
- 8:33Speaker 5: I guess what you know? This is an interesting part
- 8:35Speaker 5: of it. I guess you know you're going to bring
- 8:37Speaker 5: this up to your partner and you're going to get judged,
- 8:39Speaker 5: don't you totally men? So is she going to say
- 8:42Speaker 5: who do you think you are? And get offended by
- 8:45Speaker 5: the fact that you've got a crash and then you're
- 8:46Speaker 5: not allowed to watch the show anymore, as it's the
- 8:48Speaker 5: case with Kezy his wife human about it? Or is
- 8:52Speaker 5: she going to be disappointed in your terrible taste as
- 8:55Speaker 5: is the case with Kezy and his wife.
- 8:57Speaker 3: No, that's like, so what does that say about?
- 9:00Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 9:01Speaker 10: No?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Because remember, just a reminder, my wife has a crush
- 9:03Speaker 2: on the Grand Designs New Zealand guy and Chris Laxon. No,
- 9:07Speaker 2: she hasn't stop throwing random ball dudes in there. That's
- 9:11Speaker 2: not how it works. It's specifically the Grand Designs New
- 9:14Speaker 2: Zealand guy and I think he's a great.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Fella as well.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And I've got a crush on Kirsty Elsop from Location
- 9:22Speaker 2: Location Location UK, who has four hundred and thirty seven
- 9:25Speaker 2: thousand followers. Jason on Instagram, so's she's a big deal.
- 9:29Speaker 2: She now got one extra gave it the old follow
- 9:32Speaker 2: there and also on three four eight three a few
- 9:36Speaker 2: people backing me up. Hey keasy, I'm backing you, bro.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Kirsty elseop is hot flame emojis?
- 9:41Speaker 5: Who's it from?
- 9:42Speaker 2: I don't know who it's from, don't want to know.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Hands off.
- 9:46Speaker 8: Good.
- 9:46Speaker 2: This is from Jeremy. I always thought Kirsty had a
- 9:48Speaker 2: little something going on as well.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Ezy. That's from Jezer.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Well, there's no I mean, I I'm not judging you
- 9:56Speaker 3: on it. I mean, Boots, what tell you all exactly?
- 10:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm going to.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Maybe Actually, when your wife's doing her volleyball or whatever
- 10:08Speaker 3: she does, she plays squash squash, you can just have
- 10:11Speaker 3: like marathon sessions.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Of No, I don't I like watching it with my wife.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's so, that's that's pretty freaky.
- 10:19Speaker 6: E So you watch I don't have anything in me.
- 10:24Speaker 6: You watch it with your wife, right, yeah, and then
- 10:30Speaker 6: under the Cold and then you switch over to what
- 10:33Speaker 6: is it? Grain Design Rain Designs, and your wife's like.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we're both getting too hot and heavy.
- 10:40Speaker 2: We put on Wellington Paranormal and we both cool right off.
- 10:46Speaker 2: A lot of people texting in though, man with their
- 10:48Speaker 2: celebrity crushes, and I'm also getting a bit of a
- 10:51Speaker 2: thing for guys like me who like a sort of
- 10:54Speaker 2: older woman. You know, I don't know what it is,
- 10:56Speaker 2: because Kirsty has been twenty years older than me.
- 10:58Speaker 5: I'd say, wow, Philt, well, no, she's not that old.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Certainly doesn't look at fellas. Actually I knew I had
- 11:08Speaker 2: a bit of a crush on her because on one
- 11:09Speaker 2: of the episodes Lately.
- 11:11Speaker 5: She fell on the stairs. No, hang on, so she's funny,
- 11:17Speaker 5: she was. No, she was like, no, I don't even
- 11:20Speaker 5: know what that. No, she found on the stairs and
- 11:23Speaker 5: was out of action for six weeks. So and I
- 11:27Speaker 5: felt bad about it.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Oh you felt bad about you know?
- 11:30Speaker 5: Yeah, right, you're worried about her and that again.
- 11:35Speaker 2: But Phil, here's Tixton, Susie Cato is my crush. Oh yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 2: Pugs is big thumbs up for that. Gooday, guys, I
- 11:41Speaker 2: could watch Nigella Lawson all day every day and I
- 11:44Speaker 2: don't even like cooking.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Thumbs up from Pugs as well.
- 11:46Speaker 3: A lot of people watch Nigella that don't like cooking.
- 11:49Speaker 3: That's true, but it's similar thing. What do they call it?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Food porn?
- 11:54Speaker 5: No?
- 11:55Speaker 3: No, I mean didn't. Didn't the British press label her
- 12:01Speaker 3: show food porn.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I've got no idea. I don't know where this was
- 12:04Speaker 5: coming on. I'm talking about. I don't like it, completely
- 12:08Speaker 5: derailed it. Yeah, oh god, it's awkward now.
- 12:13Speaker 2: The other thumbs up from Pugs.

- 12:46Speaker 2: of rugby League three nights in a row. I'm starting
- 12:49Speaker 2: to get a bit I'm starting to get equal measures
- 12:51Speaker 2: fizzed up and a bit worried.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm thinking, Keezy, you're doing any sort of training
- 12:55Speaker 3: for this?
- 12:58Speaker 5: Jass spared everywhere as he said that. By the way,
- 13:00Speaker 5: he's got a mouthful of chips. Yeah, is that what
- 13:02Speaker 5: that is? Yeah?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Have you been doing any training for it? Easy, like,
- 13:06Speaker 3: you know, having a few beers he's at night. Just
- 13:08Speaker 3: get the liver ready. Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Man, I'll be honest with you, Keezy, I'm worried about
- 13:11Speaker 5: you when you're drinking. Really, you've been doing bugger all
- 13:14Speaker 5: this year.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Shit house, really because I was just sort of doing
- 13:18Speaker 2: it for my health and there, but you reckon, I
- 13:19Speaker 2: should like turn it up.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you haven't come in here all nasily
- 13:22Speaker 5: or anything. I mean, yeah, I don't know. The audience
- 13:24Speaker 5: loves it when you come in here green around the
- 13:26Speaker 5: gills and absolute sack. But you've been prisingly mature around
- 13:31Speaker 5: your drinking, which isn't like you at all.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, because I just thought maybe i'd show up one
- 13:35Speaker 2: hundred percent ready to go every day with a good attitude.
- 13:37Speaker 5: But yeah, do you want me to knock that.
- 13:38Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 13:39Speaker 5: It feels like you're not happy about the fact that
- 13:41Speaker 5: you haven't been drinking. Yeah, So maybe just somewhere in
- 13:43Speaker 5: the middle, you know, I just have a couple of
- 13:45Speaker 5: dozen every night, okay, just a couple of sniffers at night, Copley,
- 13:49Speaker 5: you love your red line now your red line. You
- 13:53Speaker 5: hear the word snort? You said red line? You love
- 13:56Speaker 5: your red wines? Now I do? Yeah responsibly?
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, let's go to the phone lines.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Get a Simon your mad bastard hell's life? Great, thank you,
- 14:06Speaker 3: Good on your mate. What do you do for a
- 14:08Speaker 3: cross Simon?
- 14:09Speaker 5: Uh? The sulity manager for the crosses for the councils,
- 14:15Speaker 5: so you sort of deal with you get in your cleaners,
- 14:18Speaker 5: their toilet supplies, water bottles, Yeah pretty much? Yeah, backbone,
- 14:25Speaker 5: Good on you.
- 14:26Speaker 3: And tell me, Simon, were you lucky enough to win
- 14:30Speaker 3: this prize, who would you take with you? Good?
- 14:33Speaker 9: Quish to check with the wife and then.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah right, so Simon, just off your gut instinct there.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Do you think your wife would be into sort of
- 14:42Speaker 2: three nights of rugby league?
- 14:43Speaker 5: Is she a big league? No?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Probably not?
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 14:46Speaker 3: Okay?
- 14:46Speaker 5: Well does she like seeing you're happy?
- 14:49Speaker 11: Though?

- 15:13Speaker 5: Always on?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Ki?
- 15:14Speaker 5: Yeah, nice tiny operation.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I go catch her off. Actually, funnily enough, fellas, the
- 15:19Speaker 3: one thing I do miss about being in town now
- 15:21Speaker 3: is not mining the lawn.
- 15:22Speaker 5: What about farting on your tomatoes?
- 15:24Speaker 8: Oh?
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's not tomato season, moogie. What I do
- 15:27Speaker 3: now to compensate is I buy a little punnet of
- 15:30Speaker 3: cherry tomatoes and I fat into those and then slam
- 15:34Speaker 3: the lid down.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Here kill this, Jake. Do you do that with your tomatoes? Man? Yeah?
- 15:39Speaker 5: Makes them pretty ripe? Yeah, straight away.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Ripe's a good word.
- 15:44Speaker 2: They just turned instantly to sundried tomatoes. And hey, Jake,
- 15:47Speaker 2: do you like your footy mate?
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yep?
- 15:49Speaker 3: Love it?
- 15:50Speaker 2: Yeah, good mate, I could tell. And so what do
- 15:52Speaker 2: you do for a crust man?
- 15:54Speaker 5: I'm an edge of it controller.
- 15:57Speaker 3: True backbone?
- 15:59Speaker 5: Really is it a mean?
- 16:01Speaker 9: No?
- 16:02Speaker 5: Good enough? Good? Are you good under pressure? Are you? Jake? Yeah?
- 16:07Speaker 5: I'm not too bad, not too bad.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Okay, what's six times eighth forty eight?
- 16:13Speaker 5: That's good man. It's just like nice Jake. You're in
- 16:18Speaker 5: the drawer as well, mate, fingers crossed?
- 16:19Speaker 3: All right, jeez, fellows, good on your mate, get a
- 16:23Speaker 3: luk your man Barsett, how's life?
- 16:25Speaker 4: Yeah, good, fellow, tell you?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah good?
- 16:28Speaker 8: What do you know?
- 16:29Speaker 9: You go?
- 16:31Speaker 5: Okay, you go? What do you do for a crust?
- 16:33Speaker 5: Your beack? B nice?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Well I'm in the landscaping industry actually, and I'm a
- 16:38Speaker 2: site manager.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Do you fight on tomatoes, Luke?
- 16:44Speaker 8: Not usually?
- 16:46Speaker 5: Apparently banana skins might help.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Oh is it right?
- 16:50Speaker 5: Okay?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Tomatoes ripen up?
- 16:52Speaker 8: Oh right, you.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Mean fight on banana skins.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Jase, You've got to stop fighting on all your food minutes.
- 16:57Speaker 5: It's not good man. If you're happen to win this, brother,
- 17:00Speaker 5: who would you bring with you? I'd probably get my
- 17:03Speaker 5: made up from the South Island?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Corey?
- 17:05Speaker 5: Yeah no, not Corey. He's an absolute pane. Yeah. God,
- 17:12Speaker 5: he's the kind of guy try to take photos with
- 17:15Speaker 5: us for his website or something. Yeah, it's messily paid.
- 17:18Speaker 8: Luke.
- 17:18Speaker 5: You're in the drawer right, you hold the line?
- 17:20Speaker 8: Brother?
- 17:21Speaker 5: What's up? Love you?
- 17:23Speaker 6: Luke?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Because hey, guys, just quickly, you gotta get yourself in
- 17:26Speaker 2: the drawer a set. We are drawing this Friday, five o'clock. Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 2: we got another chance to get yourself in the draw
- 17:31Speaker 2: later on the show. Today, time is running out. It's
- 17:35Speaker 2: the name of the song.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Oh you guys, mind if I et chips in the break?
- 17:40Speaker 5: Do we have any choice? During the break?
- 17:43Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky is.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Indeed Liam Gallagher there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 17:51Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is four point fifty two.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Let's talk TV. What's on the Telly Mike Minogue? Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 3: fells and that I watched a film.
- 18:08Speaker 5: I don't can't remember, Keesy, I'm blacking out, man, I
- 18:10Speaker 5: can't remember if we talked about already. But crime one
- 18:13Speaker 5: oh one, no, no good, Okay, it's a film. It's
- 18:18Speaker 5: I think it's set in LA. It's got one of
- 18:20Speaker 5: the hens Worth fellows a thaw one Chris, Chris, thank
- 18:24Speaker 5: you always get the mixed up. They all look the
- 18:26Speaker 5: same to me. Those hems with boys. Yeah, halle Berry,
- 18:30Speaker 5: Mark Ruffalo, Hemsworth there, he's a he's a jewelry robber,
- 18:35Speaker 5: sort of a feller. Mark Ruffalo is the cop that's
- 18:39Speaker 5: trying to catch him, and halle Berry is somebody that
- 18:42Speaker 5: works at an insurance company. Ensuring these super X people
- 18:47Speaker 5: that have got all of these duels, and it's the
- 18:49Speaker 5: classics sort of one more for the road, get enough money,
- 18:54Speaker 5: et cetera. Now we can just yeah, it looks pretty cool.
- 19:00Speaker 5: It goes for two hours and twenty minutes, probably when
- 19:02Speaker 5: it probably needs to go for an hour and a half.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Like everything, good actors looks good, great car chases if
- 19:11Speaker 5: you like car chases. But the thing about it is,
- 19:13Speaker 5: and what I'm sort of realizing as I get older,
- 19:15Speaker 5: is now I've if I saw that movie when I
- 19:18Speaker 5: was massively into films, like sixteen to twenty four, you know,
- 19:21Speaker 5: sixteen to twenty five years old, I would have thought
- 19:24Speaker 5: it was unreal. But now that I'm almost fifty, I've
- 19:26Speaker 5: seen a billion car chases, and I've seen a billion
- 19:30Speaker 5: crime movies, and so three busies. Yeah, I am at
- 19:35Speaker 5: a possible five.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Gotta be honest with you, I'm not a fan of
- 19:38Speaker 3: Chris Hem's with no I really like him as an
- 19:41Speaker 3: act how look, he's six years stub, don't you totally said?
- 19:47Speaker 3: I saw him where he was trying to do an
- 19:48Speaker 3: Irish accent and it was terrible, right, And now I
- 19:51Speaker 3: just went, oh God, oh, Jesus. But Fellers, it wasn't bad. Actually,
- 19:56Speaker 3: I don't really do sort of TV and film anymore.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I'm proveediicate to the theater now that I'm in the CBD.
- 20:04Speaker 3: So I went to see a View from the Bridge. Yes,
- 20:08Speaker 3: last night at the Silo Theater. I think it is theater, superb, brilliant,
- 20:16Speaker 3: one of the best things in terms of theater I've
- 20:19Speaker 3: ever seen. Really sparse set, very minimalist in terms of
- 20:26Speaker 3: how they presented it, which means that all the onus
- 20:30Speaker 3: is really put on the performances, and the performances from
- 20:33Speaker 3: everyone in the cast brilliant, brilliant, and I don't mind
- 20:39Speaker 3: admitting there were tears and there were moments of oh wow,
- 20:45Speaker 3: they held the tension really well. Five buzzies out of
- 20:50Speaker 3: five from Hoidi J.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Now that's a view from the Bridge.
- 20:53Speaker 2: And we had Beulah the lead actor on our show
- 20:56Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Yes, we did remember we together. He was superb great.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Last night, fell As, we watched the first episode, even
- 21:03Speaker 2: though we're one episode behind already of Celebrity Chooser Isle
- 21:06Speaker 2: on the new season on Plus. It's got a few
- 21:10Speaker 2: big dogs on there, you know, you've got your Simon
- 21:12Speaker 2: Barnett Radio big dogs as well, Polly Gillespie. Ah, yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 2: and they're going to be watching it now. A few
- 21:19Speaker 2: other big names on there as well. I want to
- 21:21Speaker 2: be honest, I love the show and I always I
- 21:23Speaker 2: love you do.
- 21:24Speaker 5: I do love the show.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I've watched every season, I think, even back in the day,
- 21:28Speaker 2: and it didn't grab me right. But it's just the
- 21:31Speaker 2: first episode.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I don't know. I've heard a few things. I saw
- 21:34Speaker 5: a review, it might have been on the spin off
- 21:35Speaker 5: or something, and I seed, you know, you're on there
- 21:37Speaker 5: for one day and then somebody gets kicked off. At
- 21:39Speaker 5: the end of the first day, somebody got kicked off.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Half a dozen people are crying. Well, yeah, what's going on?
- 21:45Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 21:46Speaker 2: So I don't know because I haven't seen Like this
- 21:48Speaker 2: was the issue too. We got to the end of
- 21:49Speaker 2: the first episode and no one got kicked off, and
- 21:51Speaker 2: I was like.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Oh, that's kick him off, kick them off. I have
- 21:54Speaker 5: heard from people in the know that there is a
- 21:57Speaker 5: huge amount of drama great in the Sea. That's all
- 22:00Speaker 5: I need to hear. Because of the kind of casting
- 22:02Speaker 5: that they've done, They've got a lot of influences. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 5: they've got all sorts of people that aren't afraid to
- 22:07Speaker 5: speak their mind. And my understanding is there is high drama.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Great because that's because, to be honest, I think it
- 22:15Speaker 2: might have been the last season there wasn't enough of.
- 22:16Speaker 5: That nebor drama.
- 22:18Speaker 2: So it's three episodes a week, which I think is
- 22:20Speaker 2: too many. It's on TVNS Plus and I'll keep you
- 22:23Speaker 2: abreast of what's happening.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Great. I think I'm changing my mind about it, and
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'd like to go on that show and just be
- 22:29Speaker 3: the biggest Creston possible.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, well you do it every day on our show.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Yeah. That's the trick, man. If you're going to go
- 22:34Speaker 5: on those shows, you have to be yourself. Yeah, good point, Jous.
- 22:41Speaker 1: The whole actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 22:44Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I can welcome back to Messive Backbones Hope here Wednesdays,
- 22:49Speaker 3: going along, tickety boo. You are listening to the Big
- 22:52Speaker 3: Show brought to you by Toledo.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Out with the old brands that I've had there too.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Toledo's is here clean mean hydration.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Toeda. You know what I was thinking, Actually fellows. With
- 23:09Speaker 3: our trip to Brizee, we should take a cart and
- 23:11Speaker 3: with us of toledos because I've got a feeling we're going.
- 23:14Speaker 5: To need them to take them to Brisy.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, sure, what do you need? That's a
- 23:19Speaker 3: good idea, man, Pugskin just put it on his you know,
- 23:22Speaker 3: in his luggage because he has a cat stuff around anyway.
- 23:25Speaker 3: So we'll just get a case of toledos, yes, and
- 23:28Speaker 3: take it out. But I was with us.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Are you allowed to do that?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:32Speaker 5: So yeah really shield yeah, okay? Off over there though,
- 23:36Speaker 5: wouldn't they toledos?
- 23:38Speaker 3: They massively go. I don't know if you guys know
- 23:41Speaker 3: this about Australia because I was there just recently.
- 23:45Speaker 5: You're standing at a halfway house with you. It's bloody
- 23:48Speaker 5: hot in Australia.
- 23:49Speaker 3: It's very warm, right, So while you're thinking when we're
- 23:53Speaker 3: going to Brizee, right, you're like, jeez, it's winter. Better
- 23:57Speaker 3: get my packed, my woolies. I don't know, So make
- 24:00Speaker 3: sure you got your t shirts, your shorts, your jendles.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Are you sure she's hot airs over there? But I
- 24:08Speaker 3: need some and yeah, and we'll need That's what I mean.
- 24:11Speaker 3: We'll bring a case of taledactly.
- 24:13Speaker 2: That's a good idea, Margie. We should get pugs to
- 24:15Speaker 2: bring someone's luggage.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Hey, pugs are man? Do that? Man, he's ignoring us.
- 24:20Speaker 3: He's got to really, I don't know what's going on
- 24:22Speaker 3: with him, do the honest honestly, I'm over it. I
- 24:27Speaker 3: offered him some of my stolen chips and he had
- 24:31Speaker 3: a mouthful of them and then spat it in my face. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 3: And I'm like, what's going on there?
- 24:37Speaker 8: Man?
- 24:37Speaker 5: What's that about? Did he do that?
- 24:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Totally, man, because that doesn't seem like something he'd do.
- 24:42Speaker 6: Oh.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I thought it was quite hot, but I mean, geez,
- 24:48Speaker 3: easy tiger.
- 24:49Speaker 2: But yeah, we'll take some toledos to Aussie.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Yeah sounds good.
- 24:51Speaker 2: By the way, the last two times I've been to
- 24:53Speaker 2: Magic Ground it's been bloody hot.
- 24:56Speaker 5: So I can't wait. Yeah, I can't wait. I'm kind
- 25:00Speaker 5: of sixteen. Really, I just want to get to the
- 25:02Speaker 5: airport seven in the morning. Just start drinking. No responsibly,
- 25:08Speaker 5: You're going to regret inviting me to this. I'm telling
- 25:10Speaker 5: you right now.
- 25:12Speaker 3: There's Velvet Revolver.
- 25:14Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy. Tune in.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, Manic Street Preachers there on the radio Darchy
- 25:24Speaker 3: Big Show this Wednesday evening. The time is fifteen minutes
- 25:27Speaker 3: past five o'clock and it's on Faddles the Breakfast V
- 25:30Speaker 3: Big Show Challenge. We've been sort of having a bit
- 25:34Speaker 3: of a tuttu with ideas at the moment, trying to
- 25:36Speaker 3: figure out what we want to do. But I believe
- 25:39Speaker 3: Keezy we've received some audio from the Breakfast Show.
- 25:43Speaker 5: We certainly have.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Jason, I think things are steering towards their suggestion, which
- 25:47Speaker 2: was a bench press competition. Get one rep the highest
- 25:51Speaker 2: amount of weight, all four of us from each show
- 25:54Speaker 2: going in together, adding all those weights together, the highest wins.
- 25:57Speaker 2: It's pretty simple.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Now.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I believe this clip about to hear from the Bricky
- 26:00Speaker 2: Boys from this morning, and it starts with us having
- 26:03Speaker 2: a bit of a dig at Maniah in particular. I
- 26:06Speaker 2: think Meniah Wou would go pretty good because he works.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Out, he does go to the gym, a hall of
- 26:11Speaker 5: I mean, you wouldn't know to look at him.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to say, does he Jeez, what
- 26:15Speaker 3: a morning I've had.
- 26:17Speaker 4: You know, sometimes you just check into work and you go, jeez,
- 26:19Speaker 4: can't wait to see all my mates this morning, I'm
- 26:22Speaker 4: looking forward to this. This is going to be fun.
- 26:24Speaker 4: And then that kind of thing comes through. Yesterday when
- 26:27Speaker 4: we talked about it, they were the ones that wanted
- 26:29Speaker 4: to go three on three, not four on four.
- 26:31Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Look, I think the three on three is probably the
- 26:33Speaker 5: way go.
- 26:34Speaker 4: This sounds like a massive vote of no confidence in
- 26:36Speaker 4: Zoe from you.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I mean, it's not quite apples and apples. With all
- 26:39Speaker 3: due respect to Zoe, she's foul many kilograms.
- 26:43Speaker 8: She stays to walk out, But I.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Mean, okay, So it was you saying we shouldn't have
- 26:47Speaker 4: Zoe in this. I was wondering where that come from. No, no,
- 26:49Speaker 4: it's not.
- 26:50Speaker 8: But now that I'm listening to what they're saying, I agree.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I think that I think simplify it.
- 26:55Speaker 8: So what is it?
- 26:56Speaker 5: Is? It just cumulative highest successful bench press?
- 27:00Speaker 3: It only needs to be one push would make sense
- 27:02Speaker 3: to me.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Well, hopefully the settlers would ever beef Moi's got me, jesus.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Well, if it's any consolation to denigh Mogi, I think
- 27:13Speaker 3: he's our biggest threat in this challenge. He is, but
- 27:17Speaker 3: at no stage, and you guys can agree or disagree
- 27:20Speaker 3: with me, at no stage, And we say three on three.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Did I recall I don't know where that came from.
- 27:26Speaker 3: That's making it up man, totally. It's four on four
- 27:31Speaker 3: cumulative weight. That's how it is. I mean, you've got
- 27:34Speaker 3: to remember that to last time we did the relay,
- 27:37Speaker 3: Jerry didn't do it. They subbed and Lange.
- 27:43Speaker 5: That's right. And also happy to have Zoey, a young person,
- 27:46Speaker 5: participate in something where the advantage lies with that side
- 27:50Speaker 5: of things. So yes, happy for her to be faster
- 27:52Speaker 5: and now you know it might not particularly be in
- 27:54Speaker 5: her favor, but the breakfast team versus the drive team,
- 27:58Speaker 5: thank you. Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 2: And the reason it has be four v fours because
- 28:01Speaker 2: when you put when you line everyone up, like, Maniah
- 28:04Speaker 2: is definitely going to be their biggest threat because you
- 28:06Speaker 2: know he's he can lift some tin there. I see
- 28:08Speaker 2: him going into head with old Pugs.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, the same. I see this as a head to
- 28:11Speaker 3: head pug Usan versus Maniah, Yeah, because Pugs.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Has got a real thing about mania as well.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Where he's going to be really fired out.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Oh yeah, absolutely no.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Just to clarify too, So it's you know one, what
- 28:26Speaker 3: do you call it? Rep rap?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Oh god, we're stuffed, but you you get to do.
- 28:32Speaker 3: As many rich How do you decide?
- 28:35Speaker 5: I mean, you don't start off I can tell you what.
- 28:37Speaker 5: I'm confused.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Now, you don't start off with like forty and go oh,
- 28:41Speaker 3: I can't do that.
- 28:42Speaker 5: No, correct, That would be a bad way to start
- 28:44Speaker 5: because then your total would be zero, so you go
- 28:48Speaker 5: to failure. So normally what you do is in your
- 28:49Speaker 5: example Jason, you'd start off with the bar and we'll
- 28:52Speaker 5: have to hope for the yes. But you want to
- 28:55Speaker 5: get pretty close to whatever your weight's going to be,
- 28:58Speaker 5: maybe sixty or seventy percent, and then you up. You
- 29:00Speaker 5: keep on adding weight.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Until you until it's like you're in the Olympics doing
- 29:05Speaker 2: high jump.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Yes, but but you don't want to start so far
- 29:09Speaker 5: away from your mexs that you're going to be bagging
- 29:11Speaker 5: by the time you get to your mes.
- 29:13Speaker 3: I'm hearing you.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Okay, So and here's the situation, right, I'm not about
- 29:16Speaker 2: to do any training. Okay, your wife is huming about that.
- 29:20Speaker 5: I feel like you should do so what we need
- 29:24Speaker 5: to do.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not the kind of guy who's like, oh,
- 29:27Speaker 2: we're going to get hints all of a sudden in
- 29:29Speaker 2: two weeks to beat bricky in it as I am
- 29:31Speaker 2: as I am right now. I will maybe do a
- 29:34Speaker 2: few warm ups if we go to a gym, just
- 29:36Speaker 2: to remember how to do.
- 29:36Speaker 5: It, you know what I mean? Yeah, I think that's
- 29:38Speaker 5: all it needs. Yeah, exactly, just to remember.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Hang on.
- 29:41Speaker 2: But what I think we should do to gauge how
- 29:43Speaker 2: strong we actually are is overnight, go and do as
- 29:47Speaker 2: many push ups in one sitting, yes, without stopping, as
- 29:50Speaker 2: we can, and come back to my own report where
- 29:52Speaker 2: we're at okay, and then we can sort of use
- 29:54Speaker 2: that as a guy.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I've started training. I'll be honest with you. My wife
- 29:58Speaker 3: has these two kg weights that she uses for pilates.
- 30:02Speaker 5: I know those pink ones. Yeah, yeah, the pink one
- 30:04Speaker 5: that's cute.
- 30:05Speaker 3: So I've been smashing those bastards fell as, so feeling
- 30:08Speaker 3: pretty cocky.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Did you bench them?
- 30:09Speaker 3: No idea that the booby thing you know where you
- 30:12Speaker 3: sort of lift your arms like you're flying like that,
- 30:15Speaker 3: so you're flapping them around shoulder raisers, shoulders competition. And
- 30:20Speaker 3: then I got on the carpet and I was like,
- 30:22Speaker 3: straight up, straight up, and I was nailing it. I
- 30:26Speaker 3: mean it was tough. Initially.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I understand that your wife had to call the landlord
- 30:30Speaker 5: because you got trapped underneath them.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Got pinned to the ground, one arm under each one.
- 30:36Speaker 3: How have you with their two k two kgs? Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 3: there's a lot of weight. But there you go, breakfast,
- 30:40Speaker 3: there you go. It's on four to four.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Four v four one.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Next thing, we have to figure out what the punishment is.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Can't wait for that system of a down?
- 30:51Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so.
- 30:53Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarky.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Everybody is deve gral from the food Fighters.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Cool now to win your favorite toy from the Food
- 31:03Speaker 1: Fighters on eight hundred Hodechi.
- 31:06Speaker 3: What the bloody hell?
- 31:08Speaker 5: Well old Dave Groll randomly popping up in the show.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, what's that about, Kiezy?
- 31:13Speaker 5: Good question there, Jays. Let's rip into it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: A radio hold ache celebrating food Fighters new album Your
- 31:22Speaker 1: Favorite Toy.
- 31:23Speaker 5: That's right.
- 31:24Speaker 2: So to celebrate the brand new Food Fighters album, Old
- 31:26Speaker 2: GROLLI himself has dropped off a giant toy box full
- 31:29Speaker 2: of some of his favorite toys. Yeah, because the new
- 31:32Speaker 2: album is called your Favorite Toy.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 5: Yeah, the albums it's unreal. I haven't listened to it yet.
- 31:38Speaker 5: Oh yes, she's a ripper. Really yeah, man, it's unreal.
- 31:40Speaker 5: How good?
- 31:42Speaker 2: Now to look after the Hdaky faithful. As we said,
- 31:44Speaker 2: Dave's dropped off a massive toy box of Groll goodies
- 31:47Speaker 2: into the studio. It could be a vinyl copy of
- 31:50Speaker 2: the new album or a stack of other Goroll approved loot.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Now you've heard the cy to cool you ring up
- 31:56Speaker 5: on eight hundred hodak in.
- 31:57Speaker 2: This is happening throughout the day on Radiohadaki as well,
- 32:00Speaker 2: and we reach into Groll's toy box, pull something out
- 32:03Speaker 2: and if you get through and you win a prize,
- 32:05Speaker 2: you automatically go in the drawer for a double pass
- 32:07Speaker 2: to see the Food Fighters live in Auckland or christ
- 32:09Speaker 2: Chitch when they are here at the beginning of next year.
- 32:11Speaker 3: So you could be like a double winter keasy. Well,
- 32:14Speaker 3: you can a toy, amazing toy and go in the
- 32:17Speaker 3: drawer for that live gig, which is pretty damn This
- 32:21Speaker 3: is unbeli And they.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Do one of the great gigs, don't. They sort of
- 32:24Speaker 5: play for about three or four hours or something absolutely insane.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Oh yeah, a huge amount of times. So if you
- 32:29Speaker 5: haven't seen them before, you want to get along.
- 32:32Speaker 3: How good and why not go for free fellas, how good,
- 32:35Speaker 3: and take your partner with you. I'm not doing that again,
- 32:43Speaker 3: all right.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Now, fellas, I've just randomly reached into the toy box.
- 32:47Speaker 5: All right, Oh what did you get? Okay, I'm just
- 32:48Speaker 5: pulling something out there.
- 32:49Speaker 3: What is it? Oh?
- 32:51Speaker 2: Wow, it's a special edition Monopoly Labyrinth theme.
- 32:58Speaker 5: And know who's that on the cover there, David Bowie?
- 33:02Speaker 5: So because you were in Labyrinth, AJ, Yeah I was.
- 33:04Speaker 5: We're talking the eighties movie Labyrinth.
- 33:06Speaker 2: You played one of the what are they called the
- 33:08Speaker 2: people in lebyrinth hogle Hoggle?
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I played head Hoggle.
- 33:12Speaker 5: You were the head Hoggle. Okay, all right.
- 33:15Speaker 2: So whoever gets through right now gets a copy of
- 33:17Speaker 2: Monopoly Labyrinth addition, as dropped off by Dave Groll, and
- 33:20Speaker 2: also gets in the drawer to go and see the
- 33:22Speaker 2: Furies live at the start of next year.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Great stuff. Good a Sam, your mad Barsard? That was live? Good?
- 33:30Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 33:31Speaker 3: Good? Thanks Sam, thank.
- 33:32Speaker 5: You for asking.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I really appreciate you. Had a good day, Sam, Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 3: good day up in Auckland. Beautiful day to day, wasn't it? Mate?
- 33:42Speaker 8: Yep?
- 33:43Speaker 5: Absolutely? So are you guys just catching up Jason?
- 33:45Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, we haven't seen each other for ages and
- 33:48Speaker 3: while Yeah, hey.
- 33:49Speaker 5: Sam, what do you do for a crust man?
- 33:52Speaker 8: Our project manager?
- 33:55Speaker 3: You're an organizer, ain't you, Sam?
- 33:58Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:58Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 33:58Speaker 5: Would you say you're a mover and shaker?
- 34:02Speaker 3: A shaker? Yeah?
- 34:04Speaker 5: How long when you're shaking?
- 34:05Speaker 3: Man?
- 34:05Speaker 5: How long are you shaking for? That's weird? Good at
- 34:12Speaker 5: the urinal, that's really weird.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Hey Sam, good news mate, You've won yourself a copy
- 34:16Speaker 2: of Monopoly Labyrinth and you're in the drawer for a
- 34:18Speaker 2: double pass to go see the Phillies. Man, mate, you
- 34:24Speaker 2: price you hold the line there and old Pugston will
- 34:26Speaker 2: put you in the seeing them, especially because they're coming
- 34:29Speaker 2: to Auckland and Christitch. Are they playing at the new
- 34:31Speaker 2: Stadium and christ Chitch? I can only assume they are,
- 34:33Speaker 2: because if I, even though I'm in Auckland, I would
- 34:35Speaker 2: almost choose the christ Chitch want to make.
- 34:36Speaker 5: A bit of a weekend of it? Well, I noticed
- 34:38Speaker 5: that because they had a few games down there, didn't
- 34:40Speaker 5: they over the weekend? I noticed one? And they don't
- 34:42Speaker 5: have any of the seating in there, So I can
- 34:44Speaker 5: only assume that they want to be putting in the stage.
- 34:46Speaker 5: There is that the idea behind.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Maybe I know that they've built it so that more
- 34:49Speaker 2: seating can be added. Yes, so it's pretty exciting stuff.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Pheryx. Just look that labor Is there a Hoody j
- 34:55Speaker 3: card and that Labyrinth monopoly.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Me there? Yeah, it's go directly to jail. Yeah, good good.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Hey you coming up next, Fellers, We've got a couple
- 35:06Speaker 2: of actors coming in Alex Tarrant and Vinnie Bennett to
- 35:09Speaker 2: celebrate the release of the brand new movie Sergeant Hahneir
- 35:12Speaker 2: which is coming out and also going to double pass
- 35:14Speaker 2: us to give away to that movie as well. Let's
- 35:16Speaker 2: make sure you stay tuned.
- 35:17Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 35:22Speaker 3: You's indeed Nirvana there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 35:25Speaker 3: This glorious Wednesday afternoon. Fellers, Hey, Keezy and Magie.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Do you guys like movies sometimes occasionally?
- 35:36Speaker 3: Man, Yeah, I'm a big fan of movies. And with
- 35:39Speaker 3: that in mind, we've got two superstars in the studio
- 35:43Speaker 3: with us who are part of a movie that's just
- 35:45Speaker 3: about is it been released about to be it's out.
- 35:49Speaker 5: I think it came out over the NZIC weekend and
- 35:51Speaker 5: that limited release that sounded about right, Fellers.
- 35:53Speaker 9: That sounds about right and to say, superstar.
- 35:55Speaker 5: I really appreciate that.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Yeah, no, totally, man.
- 36:00Speaker 8: Was mate.
- 36:01Speaker 5: It was bene out side of the fact that you
- 36:04Speaker 5: ever mentioned their names. It was brilliant. It sounded good.
- 36:06Speaker 3: But Alex Tarrant and Vinnie Bennett the stars of the movie.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Sergeant Hana, how are your game fellers doing well?
- 36:16Speaker 8: Doing well?
- 36:17Speaker 9: Thank you mate, Yeah, thanks for having us.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Now just quickly for the listeners. They're the story of
- 36:21Speaker 2: Hahna Manahi, twenty eighth Mardi Battalion soldier who took a
- 36:24Speaker 2: mountain changed the course of World War two in North
- 36:26Speaker 2: Africa and those who choose to remember. Now, what can
- 36:30Speaker 2: people expect from this film, because you know, they the
- 36:34Speaker 2: Huducky audience.
- 36:35Speaker 5: They might have seen you in Fast and Furious.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Perhaps, Yeah, but then you know there are mini yeah
- 36:39Speaker 2: it well exactly or many other amazing things as well,
- 36:42Speaker 2: but they might not be familiar with this kind of film.
- 36:46Speaker 9: Yes, So this is a film that's based around the
- 36:49Speaker 9: two eight Maori Battalion and the heroic actions of Lance Sargeant,
- 36:53Speaker 9: Heine Money and his band of cousins.
- 36:56Speaker 5: Yeah, it's pretty unreal, isn't it. And to have this
- 36:58Speaker 5: get made because the director of as I understand the
- 37:00Speaker 5: director of Muru he met a woman from the area,
- 37:04Speaker 5: is that right, and she gave him the story. He
- 37:05Speaker 5: wasn't aware of the background at all. Yeah, he's got
- 37:08Speaker 5: bullied into making this. That's exactly right.
- 37:10Speaker 9: I think you know it's been you know, bullying, but
- 37:14Speaker 9: also it's been the greatest honor for all of us.
- 37:16Speaker 9: I'm pretty sure I'm speaking on behalf of everyone, including yourselfsolutely.
- 37:20Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 37:21Speaker 5: I saw some of the people that are involved in it.
- 37:23Speaker 5: There's weapons, This is a high It's a docu drama essentially,
- 37:27Speaker 5: isn't it. So you're cut in between re enactment you
- 37:30Speaker 5: guys back in the day at war playing out the
- 37:34Speaker 5: story of the two eight Battalion, and then also cutting
- 37:37Speaker 5: to present day and having interviews with I'm assuming his
- 37:40Speaker 5: relatives and people that knew him, the people that are
- 37:44Speaker 5: involved in it. You've got like the stut, You've got
- 37:46Speaker 5: Augie Davis that you know that these are top level
- 37:49Speaker 5: Hollywood people involved in this. This is not a cheap
- 37:52Speaker 5: affair by any stretch of the imagination.
- 37:54Speaker 8: No, no, yeah, it's it's it's really not And you know,
- 37:59Speaker 8: watch it.
- 38:01Speaker 10: I've seen it twice now, and both times I'm just
- 38:05Speaker 10: completely taken by how polished it looks and how you know,
- 38:10Speaker 10: it really looks world class. And honestly, like when I
- 38:14Speaker 10: came on board to be a part of it, I
- 38:18Speaker 10: was like this, you know, it felt very quick. It
- 38:21Speaker 10: didn't feel like the budget was massive the shoot. You know,
- 38:24Speaker 10: we shot it over nine days or right.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's that's full on.
- 38:28Speaker 8: It's very quick. It's very quick.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Well, imagine being there in real life back in the day, man,
- 38:32Speaker 2: that would have been even more for it's true because
- 38:39Speaker 2: I'm just reading here it's it's about the storming of
- 38:42Speaker 2: a fortress in Tunisia.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Yes, so where did you guys film this thing?
- 38:48Speaker 3: No, bloody hell and far out because it's an interesting
- 38:58Speaker 3: story too from what I've read about it, where the
- 39:02Speaker 3: sort of top brass kind of they lose contact, they
- 39:05Speaker 3: get knocked out kind of thing, and it's his actions
- 39:08Speaker 3: actually having to take control of the situation, which was
- 39:11Speaker 3: actually a really common thing through war where the hierarchies
- 39:15Speaker 3: you know, disconnected or idiots and the men on the
- 39:20Speaker 3: ground having to sort of do the hard jacker.
- 39:22Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, that's exactly right. There's a whole lot of
- 39:25Speaker 9: things that obviously go sideways. There's obviously plans, but then
- 39:29Speaker 9: plans can go get thrown straight out the window. And
- 39:31Speaker 9: I think this is what happens in this case. And
- 39:34Speaker 9: you know, for us to be able to tell a
- 39:35Speaker 9: story like this, I think is such a big honor
- 39:38Speaker 9: for us.
- 39:38Speaker 5: And it's also crazy as well, because you you know,
- 39:42Speaker 5: I think we're all pretty familiar with the story of
- 39:44Speaker 5: Charlie Upham, right, yeah, you know Mark of the Lion,
- 39:47Speaker 5: you know, double the Victoria Cross when everybody's sort of
- 39:51Speaker 5: aware of that history and he sort of celebrated as
- 39:53Speaker 5: a war hero. And on the multi side, we don't
- 39:56Speaker 5: know anything about this. Did you guys know about this
- 39:59Speaker 5: at all? P have been brought on board.
- 40:01Speaker 8: No, not the story in particular, and.
- 40:04Speaker 10: You know I would hear about, you know, the stories
- 40:08Speaker 10: of how fierce and brave the twenty eighth Multi Battalion were, yes,
- 40:13Speaker 10: but no particular story to associate it with. And you know,
- 40:19Speaker 10: jumping on board with this, we were able to learn
- 40:24Speaker 10: and create, you know, something to be like, oh yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 10: O keep for example this right, yeah, you know, and.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Well that's that's the thing with ANTEC Day two nowadays, right,
- 40:34Speaker 2: because it's you know, when I was growing up, going
- 40:38Speaker 2: to the dawn service and stuff was something you did
- 40:39Speaker 2: as kids, and you know, people still do it to
- 40:41Speaker 2: this day. But I think the further we go along,
- 40:43Speaker 2: the less people are connected to it, because the older
- 40:46Speaker 2: people start to go and the younger people come and
- 40:48Speaker 2: they don't understand the importance anymore. Yes, yes, So you
- 40:51Speaker 2: know movies like this, Sergeant Harney, it's called cin cinemas.
- 40:55Speaker 5: At the moment.
- 40:56Speaker 2: It's kind of important, isn't it, to keep the younger
- 40:58Speaker 2: generations clued up on stuff?
- 41:00Speaker 9: Absolutely, two years ago, the last person from the Maori
- 41:05Speaker 9: Battalion to where Mary Battalion had passed away, so there's
- 41:09Speaker 9: no one else linkage.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 41:12Speaker 9: And from me being able to go to the dawn
- 41:14Speaker 9: service these last couple of days gone, it just brought
- 41:18Speaker 9: a whole new meaning from me. And so we went
- 41:22Speaker 9: down to and we were with the family who the
- 41:26Speaker 9: story is about, and the mist was rising.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Stories that were being.
- 41:32Speaker 9: Told are being complemented by the mist and the wind,
- 41:35Speaker 9: and it was such a beautiful experience.
- 41:37Speaker 5: And it does affect families so much as well, because
- 41:41Speaker 5: like these guys, a lot of these guys in the
- 41:43Speaker 5: twa battalion. They were cousins. They were part of the
- 41:45Speaker 5: same farm though, right, right, yes, exactly right.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Now we've got actors Alex Tarrant and Vinnie been in
- 41:49Speaker 2: the studio with us, Sergeant Hahni. It's a film that's
- 41:52Speaker 2: available in cinema's right now. Before we let you guys go, man,
- 41:55Speaker 2: I just gotta ask Vinnie, Yes.
- 41:58Speaker 5: I knew it was coming.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Yeah he won.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Yeah, a man for the celebrity. Haven't absolutely love it
- 42:10Speaker 5: cause he's dying to get on. He's probably going to
- 42:12Speaker 5: ask you to put in a good word for him.
- 42:14Speaker 5: Can you sit down? I don't find the show.
- 42:17Speaker 8: I'm sure they were like.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Oh, we need kind of a skuk slight part multitude
- 42:22Speaker 2: And then my name was there and.
- 42:27Speaker 5: How was the experience? Because it's on right now, it's
- 42:29Speaker 5: just started.
- 42:29Speaker 10: It's just starting, man, And yeah, I've been cheating myself
- 42:34Speaker 10: really up to this point, you know, because yeah, yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 10: you have your own editt of how things went, and
- 42:41Speaker 10: you hid, you know, and you think and kind of
- 42:44Speaker 10: hope that it will go this way, but then you're
- 42:46Speaker 10: also aware that it can completely other way depending on
- 42:49Speaker 10: how they slap it.
- 42:50Speaker 5: All the producers, right, they want narratives. Yeah, so you're
- 42:54Speaker 5: saying if you look bad on its because of the producers.
- 43:00Speaker 8: I no, no, yeah, yeah, I can see where my
- 43:09Speaker 8: my role on the island is going, you know.
- 43:12Speaker 2: It's it's what it was fun being a part of
- 43:16Speaker 2: the actual, not now, not now, not waiting for it
- 43:18Speaker 2: to come out and freaking out, but like the actual
- 43:20Speaker 2: being there and doing it.
- 43:21Speaker 8: And yeah, absolutely was it. It was something that I
- 43:26Speaker 8: was very unsure about.
- 43:28Speaker 10: Yeah, And we're back and forth, and one of the
- 43:31Speaker 10: producers he ended up calling me just because I had
- 43:33Speaker 10: so many questions. I'm like, you know, I just need
- 43:35Speaker 10: to get something straight, you know, like, are were sleeping
- 43:37Speaker 10: in accommodation really.
- 43:40Speaker 8: Going on to talk to me?
- 43:42Speaker 10: And he was like, no, it's you know, we don't
- 43:46Speaker 10: you know, we don't manipulate things too much. Obviously we
- 43:49Speaker 10: need storylines, drama. We don't We're not going to the producer.
- 43:54Speaker 3: The producer be like, Vinny, seriously, man, you've got to
- 43:58Speaker 3: do it. Otherwise we've got to go with key well Fellows,
- 44:09Speaker 3: thanks so much for coming in very much. Looking forward
- 44:11Speaker 3: to seeing the film.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yes, by the way, and if anyone listening wants to
- 44:14Speaker 2: see the film, also we've got five double passes to
- 44:16Speaker 2: give away. So if you'd like to see Alex Tarrant
- 44:19Speaker 2: and Vine Benett in Sergeant Hahnir as well, text us
- 44:22Speaker 2: three four eight three right now, tell us who you
- 44:24Speaker 2: take with you and way you think you should have
- 44:26Speaker 2: the tickets, and then we'll dish them all out.
- 44:28Speaker 3: I think it's only four double passes. Yeah, I think
- 44:34Speaker 3: there's two double passes.
- 44:36Speaker 8: Alex is going to throw in another one.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Thanks Alex, You're welcome five doubles, all right, lock it
- 44:43Speaker 2: in three four three, get stuck and Alex Vinie, thanks
- 44:45Speaker 2: for coming in.
- 44:49Speaker 1: The hold Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Hold Ikey, welcome back in and Backbones. Hope your Wednesday's going.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Oh you're listening to the Big Show, incidentally brought to
- 45:01Speaker 3: you by Toledo's.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Old brands are done. Toledos is taking over. No nasties,
- 45:06Speaker 2: no compromises.
- 45:12Speaker 3: I think we're really nailing that now for ouls one
- 45:14Speaker 3: hundred percent.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Jason speaking of nailing it Toledo's and nailing getting their
- 45:18Speaker 2: product out into all the stores across New Zealand.
- 45:20Speaker 5: That's true.
- 45:21Speaker 2: So remember it's a Kiwi company, a little startup by
- 45:25Speaker 2: a young family, which is bloody exciting, natural a liter
- 45:28Speaker 2: like beverages. And they're rolling them out across the country.
- 45:31Speaker 2: So fresh choice. The supermarkets that are available nationwide.
- 45:34Speaker 5: How good.
- 45:35Speaker 2: New World Devenport, Komu, Parmesan, North, Papakuta, Pookakoi, to Kofutta
- 45:39Speaker 2: and Wayuku. And as of today, I believe they've actually
- 45:43Speaker 2: added another New World, the Durham Street New World.
- 45:46Speaker 5: And Christry I heard about that.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Oh how good. I'm going to get a flight down
- 45:49Speaker 3: there just to buy toledos from there.
- 45:51Speaker 2: But we've literally we've literally got a fridge full of
- 45:53Speaker 2: them for free just there.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I know they're so good, Yeah that I want to
- 45:57Speaker 3: pay for them.
- 45:58Speaker 8: Keasy.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Actually, if you want to them, you could drive down
- 46:01Speaker 2: to there to Nona Taha with the four squares just
- 46:04Speaker 2: started stopping it.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Yeah, jesus, it takes me back, Fellows. Nong the Taha
- 46:09Speaker 3: always very hard to beat and rugby when there when
- 46:12Speaker 3: I lived on there, Nong the Taha nightmare.
- 46:16Speaker 5: Who are you playing for Tonga?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh tong one position? I played wing funnily enough,
- 46:23Speaker 3: I thought you were the captain. No, that was for
- 46:25Speaker 3: the second second fifteen rugby.
- 46:27Speaker 2: It's worth right, Okay, so this is when you were
- 46:30Speaker 2: younger that.
- 46:30Speaker 3: This is like when I was just a little whipper
- 46:32Speaker 3: snap bear feet, wouldn't you, yeah, beer feet? You turn
- 46:36Speaker 3: up without a word of a lie and the ground
- 46:39Speaker 3: would be frosty. You'd be covered and frost and you'd
- 46:42Speaker 3: be hopping around going whoa but nong the taha. So
- 46:49Speaker 3: I hated playing them.
- 46:50Speaker 2: I used to play them as well because I grew
- 46:51Speaker 2: up in Totunga there and I remember going to as
- 46:54Speaker 2: well and it being frosty. Because when you're really young,
- 46:57Speaker 2: the games are really early, yes, like eight o'clock and
- 47:00Speaker 2: Bearfoot and this frost everywhere. However, that's in the bad plenty.
- 47:04Speaker 2: When we were down in Dunedin, it was like midday.
- 47:06Speaker 5: And it was still frosted. Yeah.
- 47:08Speaker 2: And I say to one of the young fellas down there, like, man,
- 47:10Speaker 2: screw playing rug me down here when I was a kid.
- 47:11Speaker 2: He's like, oh yeah, I grew up playing here.
- 47:13Speaker 8: It sucked.
- 47:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, so good time early morning footy man.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Now listen, the fellows are after the magic around very
- 47:22Speaker 3: very soon, and it may very well be another opportunity
- 47:25Speaker 3: for you. To get in the drawer. So keep your
- 47:27Speaker 3: ears peeled.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Keep your ears peeled.
- 47:29Speaker 3: In the meantime, here's Allison Chain.
- 47:33Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodaki.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Red Hot Chilli. Pepper's there on the Radio Hodaki Big
- 47:42Speaker 3: Show This Wednesday night. The time twenty nine minutes past
- 47:46Speaker 3: six o'clock.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I got a bone to pick.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I got a bowl a pick.
- 47:51Speaker 5: I'd also like to welcome Pugs to the students. Pugs
- 47:57Speaker 5: Evening fellas good eight Pugs Now. Last night, after the
- 48:00Speaker 5: show finished, it was just you and I are here Pegsn.
- 48:02Speaker 5: As it often is straight out the door, but you
- 48:04Speaker 5: and I like to catch up and just pass a
- 48:06Speaker 5: few notes back and forth over the show. Now we're
- 48:09Speaker 5: in here in the studio. We ended up recording a
- 48:10Speaker 5: video because you noticed, Pegsn that Hoidy Jezz had left.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Oh you noticed, did your Pugs?
- 48:23Speaker 8: Now?
- 48:23Speaker 5: We made a video and in the video we sort
- 48:27Speaker 5: of pointed out that there was something that had been
- 48:30Speaker 5: used during the show from Jason had literally had Jason's
- 48:32Speaker 5: name on it. There was a glass of water that
- 48:34Speaker 5: Jason had been drinking throughout the show, and there was
- 48:37Speaker 5: a screwed up show notes document which had all the
- 48:40Speaker 5: scribbles on it, so it was clearly Jason, and it
- 48:42Speaker 5: had big Show written on. It had Big Show. And
- 48:46Speaker 5: I made the video and I was slightly facetious because
- 48:48Speaker 5: I was blaming it all on Manaia that micuse shears
- 48:51Speaker 5: that microphone every single day. And the reason I did
- 48:54Speaker 5: that was because Jason always blames Mania for being the
- 48:56Speaker 5: one that leaves stuff lying around, and so I guess Jason,
- 49:00Speaker 5: first of all, I just want to put that to
- 49:02Speaker 5: you and just see how you see how you feel
- 49:04Speaker 5: about what that video laid out.
- 49:07Speaker 3: I just want to say, specifically in regards to that night,
- 49:11Speaker 3: I was going to a theater show that night, and
- 49:13Speaker 3: I was running a bit late, so I was kind
- 49:15Speaker 3: of under the gun my defense, and the extra admin
- 49:20Speaker 3: on there was for the show that I forgot that
- 49:22Speaker 3: I brought in.
- 49:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you like going to I do? You must go
- 49:26Speaker 5: to the heeps? Yeah, I guess. Then the other thing
- 49:29Speaker 5: we did about a month ago was when you brought
- 49:31Speaker 5: in that chicken soup for us all and try Jason. Yeah,
- 49:35Speaker 5: and then you cleaned up afterwards, but you left chicken.
- 49:37Speaker 5: So we made a video that night as well.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Mogi sniffs around behind me all the time.
- 49:44Speaker 5: I don't need to because it's a bomb site. We
- 49:46Speaker 5: go through the microwave, this chicken soup all through the microwave,
- 49:50Speaker 5: the chicken soup all over the beach, all over the floor.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Now, Mogi, be honest. Was there chicken soup all over
- 49:58Speaker 3: the bench? And did you say, and I quote there
- 50:01Speaker 3: was like a fifty cent piece spot on the floor.
- 50:04Speaker 5: Yes, certainly, Look it wasn't all over. There was an exaggeration,
- 50:07Speaker 5: but certainly there was a sign that there had been
- 50:11Speaker 5: chicken soup spilled everywhere. It was not cleaned up. You
- 50:15Speaker 5: had a played that night as well.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Jsay, yeah I did it. Yeah, yeah, I thought so. Yes,
- 50:20Speaker 3: Well know what that was was it happened. I was
- 50:23Speaker 3: trying to organize it for the show, and then the
- 50:24Speaker 3: show was going back on air, so I ran back
- 50:28Speaker 3: on to be on air and do the radio show.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Can I just say, look, last night you were you're
- 50:32Speaker 2: in a rush, sweet as you forgot your stuff. You
- 50:34Speaker 2: left a bit of a mess there in that spot.
- 50:37Speaker 2: We get It's fine, totally sweet. The thing that I
- 50:40Speaker 2: think the reason why we bring this up is because
- 50:43Speaker 2: you are adamant that you never ever ever leave a
- 50:45Speaker 2: mess behind.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Look, that's an exaggeration on my behalf. Certainly there's occasions
- 50:51Speaker 3: where I might leave a glass behind.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, like several times a week. Yes, No, not.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Several times a week. Obviously, you guys do because.
- 51:02Speaker 5: You're bringing it up.
- 51:03Speaker 2: We only care because you're so edemant that you don't.
- 51:06Speaker 3: I only say that because you guys bring it up
- 51:09Speaker 3: all the time. So this is a trap. This is
- 51:13Speaker 3: a trap from you guys, and you're trying to make
- 51:15Speaker 3: out that I'm I wouldn't have to defend myself if
- 51:19Speaker 3: you guys didn't accuse me.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, all right, okay, so we just I'm sort
- 51:24Speaker 5: of missing something here. So if it's if we're saying
- 51:27Speaker 5: that we have to clean up after ourselves, I'm sort
- 51:30Speaker 5: of lost a little bit. So you're saying that we
- 51:34Speaker 5: bring it up all the time, but we're not telling
- 51:39Speaker 5: the truth.
- 51:39Speaker 8: I don't understand what you mean by that point.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Keesy said, was you say all the time I don't
- 51:44Speaker 3: leave stuff behind? And I say that because I get
- 51:46Speaker 3: accused of it.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Yeah, because our accusations are empty.
- 51:54Speaker 3: But if not, it is inaccurate to say I do
- 51:57Speaker 3: it all the time. It is inaccurate and the amount
- 51:59Speaker 3: of times I've said it, because often all will happen
- 52:02Speaker 3: Fellas when I'm leaving, You'll be the cleaning lady there
- 52:04Speaker 3: and I'll be standing there with my glass and I
- 52:06Speaker 3: don't want to, you know, just dump ship on her
- 52:08Speaker 3: because she's cleaning the bench.
- 52:10Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, you know.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I don't do that all the time. Last night was
- 52:15Speaker 3: an aberration, and I apologize worry about I will personally
- 52:22Speaker 3: apologize him, and I really absolutely actually he is absolutely
- 52:28Speaker 3: Can I do an apology now?
- 52:30Speaker 11: Transition incoming transmission from the big show?
- 52:44Speaker 3: You get sold here, mate, I just want to apologize
- 52:49Speaker 3: about the mess that was left on the desk last night. Mate.
- 52:52Speaker 3: That's that's unacceptable. I just want to let you know
- 52:55Speaker 3: that I'm fuming at the Fellas. It was a massive
- 52:58Speaker 3: set up. I cannot believe the Fellas would go to
- 53:05Speaker 3: this length to stitch me up. But mate, I'll tell
- 53:09Speaker 3: you what I'm going to do right ten minutes after
- 53:15Speaker 3: the show's finished, to make sure they don't do it
- 53:18Speaker 3: again or.
- 53:21Speaker 5: Send it to breakfast when oh man, thanks man wriggled
- 53:27Speaker 5: out of that one.
- 53:28Speaker 3: I'll do better. Feelers, now, you're a good man's chill.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Here's Kings of Leon, The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason,

- 54:05Speaker 2: you get a prize one hundred percent Anonymous good the affairs.
- 54:08Speaker 2: This comes from Anonymous. By the way, I've got a
- 54:11Speaker 2: bit of a dilemma. I'd love some advice, particularly from Keesy.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I've been considering moving overseas for a while. Standard staff
- 54:18Speaker 2: right time to go. As I'm male, twenty three medium
- 54:21Speaker 2: sized penis. I don't see how that's it relevant.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Good to know that, yeah, any medium size like five
- 54:28Speaker 3: six inch, yeah, yeah, yep.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I was pretty locked in on London, but I've been
- 54:33Speaker 2: offered a job in my profession in the Cayman Islands.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Cool.
- 54:38Speaker 2: My partner is also set on London and will not
- 54:40Speaker 2: take well to a chains of plant a change of plans.
- 54:43Speaker 5: I'm currently living with here.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Anyway, Basically, I'd love some advice on how I can
- 54:47Speaker 2: pack and leave without her noticing.
- 54:49Speaker 5: Cheers. That's good idea.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Where are the Cayman Islands, Ozzie?
- 54:53Speaker 5: Oh okay, aren't they off buzzy like in the Caribbean
- 54:57Speaker 5: or somewhere? Am I thinking of the Wits? Mel d
- 55:00Speaker 5: you're thinking of the Sundays? You're thinking of Stuart Island
- 55:02Speaker 5: in Australia.
- 55:03Speaker 3: That that sounds like the dream to me. Yeah. If
- 55:06Speaker 3: I was twenty three and I got off at a
- 55:08Speaker 3: job in the Cayman Islands, I would be shit.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Yeah, but what would you be doing there?
- 55:13Speaker 3: Oh well that's the other question. Yeah, well that's right,
- 55:16Speaker 3: it's a year I would be getting steen. Definitely.
- 55:18Speaker 5: It's an interesting one. The beauty of the Cayman Islands
- 55:21Speaker 5: is nobody goes to the Cayman Islands, right, do you
- 55:23Speaker 5: know what I mean? In the scene, so everybody goes
- 55:25Speaker 5: on there, Everybody goes to London, everybody goes to the
- 55:29Speaker 5: same base or Australia or something like that. Nobody goes
- 55:31Speaker 5: to the Cayman Islands.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Am I right in thinking that the Cayman Islands is
- 55:35Speaker 3: where they do like money.
- 55:36Speaker 5: Shell they have That's right, money laundering, et cetera, et cetera,
- 55:41Speaker 5: et cetera.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Yeah, so Cayman Islands, British overseas territory, Western Caribbean Sea.
- 55:46Speaker 5: Yes, n the issue hell of a spot.
- 55:49Speaker 2: You don't want to be in a relationship if you
- 55:50Speaker 2: go to the Cayman Islands because it's full of terrorists
- 55:52Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 55:53Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 55:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well youah, at twenty three, you're not going to
- 55:56Speaker 2: the Cayman Islands?
- 55:57Speaker 3: Are you suggesting like it would be like a sex feast?
- 55:59Speaker 5: That's what this guy's angling. Well, he's talking about his
- 56:02Speaker 5: medium sized penis, which interests me, It really interests me.
- 56:06Speaker 5: Does And the fact that he's got a partner there.
- 56:09Speaker 5: I don't know if it's a male or female. And
- 56:10Speaker 5: it's not important, kezy, all right, that partner wants to
- 56:16Speaker 5: go to London, let them, yes, let them by all
- 56:20Speaker 5: means you don't want to ruin their dreams. But you
- 56:22Speaker 5: get yourself over to the Caymans.
- 56:24Speaker 2: And I'll also say, if you are even slightly iffy
- 56:27Speaker 2: about this relationship at twenty three years of age.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Let me just say, man, it's not going to happen.
- 56:31Speaker 3: And do you want your Cayman Island dream to be
- 56:36Speaker 3: ruined by her.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Or his No, it won't be ruined by her or
- 56:40Speaker 2: his resentment. It's literally, do you want to move to
- 56:42Speaker 2: the Cayman Islands at twenty three years of age?
- 56:45Speaker 5: So do it? Yeah, and your partner as well. Now
- 56:48Speaker 5: I was going to say welcome to come, but that's
- 56:50Speaker 5: not true because they don't.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Yeah, that age he's trying to pack up. My question
- 56:55Speaker 5: is why is he's specifically asking for your advice? Keasy?
- 57:01Speaker 5: I don't know. I've never been to the Cayman I
- 57:03Speaker 5: know more about the leaving and the cheatin. Ah. Oh, well,
- 57:08Speaker 5: in that case, you just do what I do it,
- 57:09Speaker 5: just cheat. Yeah. Yeah. My advice is, if you really
- 57:15Speaker 5: want to go to the Cayman Islands, do it. You're
- 57:17Speaker 5: twenty three.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Don't give it up and then be resentful later because
- 57:20Speaker 2: you didn't take that opportunity.
- 57:22Speaker 5: Yeah, although you could stay with your partner, get married,
- 57:26Speaker 5: and if things don't work out, and they probably won't,
- 57:28Speaker 5: you can blame your partner for the shit house trajectory
- 57:31Speaker 5: of your life. Yeaheah, yeah, put it all onto them.
- 57:34Speaker 2: You know.
- 57:34Speaker 3: One of the regrets I have in my life true story,
- 57:37Speaker 3: this fellas when I was like twenty one and doing
- 57:40Speaker 3: acting and I got involved in this theater company and
- 57:45Speaker 3: the guy that ran it ran theater in London for many,
- 57:49Speaker 3: many years and had all these contacts, and he said
- 57:51Speaker 3: to me, Jason, I think you've got some real ability,
- 57:55Speaker 3: And I reckon, you'd go great guns in London, right,
- 57:58Speaker 3: And I could organize for you to go over there
- 58:01Speaker 3: and have all sorts of contacts pretty much walked straight
- 58:04Speaker 3: into a play. How do you feel about that? And
- 58:07Speaker 3: I was like, oh nah, and got you know, I
- 58:10Speaker 3: just went back home and got steamed. But I often
- 58:13Speaker 3: look back on that moment and I go, I wonder
- 58:16Speaker 3: what would have happened if I had have gone, Okay,
- 58:19Speaker 3: let's do it.
- 58:20Speaker 2: It's pretty easy. You'd be the most successful actor in
- 58:22Speaker 2: the history of the world.
- 58:23Speaker 5: Yeah in London.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, and some you know, locked away somewhere.
- 58:29Speaker 1: The Huriarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hidarchy.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Well there you go, your mad bastards. That's the big show,
- 58:42Speaker 3: Done and dusted this Wednesday evening. What's the podcast outro
- 58:45Speaker 3: clip today?
- 58:47Speaker 2: I think it's about me feeling Baley is because it's
- 58:49Speaker 2: entitled Spiraling, which is sounds funny.
- 58:56Speaker 5: Nah, I had like, w.
- 58:59Speaker 3: What were you worrying about? Keys? You should have called me, man,
- 59:02Speaker 3: I would have you know, I would have talked you
- 59:04Speaker 3: to sleep.
- 59:09Speaker 2: It actually did help me out feelers. You know.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Well, next time you have that, just give old hoodie
- 59:13Speaker 3: Jay a call and I'll just talk you through it.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Man, So you're saying that if I am still awake
- 59:17Speaker 2: at four am thinking about stuff.
- 59:19Speaker 3: My jaw is always open. Keys comes over to your
- 59:22Speaker 3: place and I'll give you a back rub, right and
- 59:25Speaker 3: just talk you through it.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, Well can we do that tonight then, because.
- 59:29Speaker 3: I'm going out tonight, sorry mate, but any other night, okay, Mogi,
- 59:35Speaker 3: what are your plans tonight?
- 59:36Speaker 8: Am?
- 59:37Speaker 5: I quite like to go to sleep. The thing, I
- 59:39Speaker 5: way have to go to sleep early because my cat
- 59:41Speaker 5: had me awake last night. Funny cat, bastard, old birdshit, Chris,
- 59:48Speaker 5: my cat, I reckon.
- 59:49Speaker 2: The cat keeps you up to night because it wants
- 59:50Speaker 2: you to change its name.
- 59:53Speaker 3: That just occurred to me too.
- 59:54Speaker 5: Yeah, well it's possible, But I got to say I
- 59:56Speaker 5: love the cat. The cat's a great addition. I can't
- 59:58Speaker 5: believe I've been so long without a cat. Yeah, but
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: I'm over at wakering you. Let's just move on. Shame
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: a word, bo kezy.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: What are you eating tonight? We are having leftovers. I'm
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: going to do ishue.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I kind of want to now I break it on sucker. No,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: we're having lamb petsers pizzas. Oh he's flatbread, but a yogurt,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: but a ducker and hummus. I like a bit of duck,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: a little bit of pickled red onion. Oh yeah, I
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: like love spinach and little yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm really excited for that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Okay, good, good.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: What do you having tonight, Jason Eden noodles?
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Oh, nice, Spike, I'm going to go for the extra
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: hot dumplings tonight. I just feel it in my bones.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: My wife will good in a normal spicy beef soup,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: and so I'm off after this to go and meet it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: You're going to agree it, do you the spicy? Yeah?
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Maybe he's going to come in and bang on that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: I tell you what, I'm much better now because I
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: know what my bowels are like in the morning, and
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: I go, I don't want to do that again, but
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: you're going to do it, and I'm going to do
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: it tonight. Hey, you have a great night. Check Up podcast.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: She got the Instagram. See letter by
