Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome back to creep cast.
• 0:21
Speaker 2: With a very sick There you go, ham it up,
• 0:25
  he says he's sick.
• 0:29
Speaker 3: Loud. Look, yesterday I was so sick that I was
• 0:31
like a small heater. I was like a generator, just
• 0:34
shivering in the corner of the couch. It was disgusting.
• 0:38
But I can talk now, so it's I'm better.
• 0:40
Speaker 2: Do you think that part of the sickness has to
• 0:43
do with uh, the second half of Baraska? Do you
• 0:46
think that has anything to do with your oldness?
• 0:48
Speaker 3: I think this is certainly some kind of karma if
• 0:51
if that's what you mean. Everyone everyone was very upset
• 0:56
that I was. I was really, if you think about it,
• 0:58
I was the criminal in that whole deal, because I'm like, oh,
• 1:01
let's come on, hunter, there's this fun little creepypasta called Bosco.
• 1:05
You'll love it. So this is I will say justice.
• 1:09
Speaker 2: I will say there has been there has been quite
• 1:12
the response on it. You know, typically people, you know,
• 1:15
we get like three four thousand comments whatever that it's
• 1:17
been a day, and there's been already almost like ten
• 1:20
ten thousand comments. Yeah, people, you know, it is it's
• 1:23
  a it's a hard thing. It's it's unbelievable though. There
• 1:26
was a lot of people who were in my shoes,
• 1:27
so I feel I feel vindicated at least that people
• 1:29
were like I was right there with them, so I
• 1:31
  feel I feel happy.
• 1:33
Speaker 3: And most of those like ten thousand comments are like
• 1:35
vaguely veiled threats. It's mostly kind of like, this is
• 1:40
what did you do? What did you just wrote me into?
• 1:42
Speaker 2: And that is true.
• 1:44
Speaker 3: Hunter is innocent. I'm sorry, but look, I'm paying for
• 1:46
it now. My throat hurts a lot, so you know what,
• 1:50
we'll call it even Okay, so no, I.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: Think it's even. Yeah, we're being six, We're going yeah,
• 1:55
come on, what is the extent here? I mean, let's
• 1:58
listen that that deathly call? What you know? I will
• 2:01
say today we are doing a bit of a palate cleanser.
• 2:03
This is a shorter, you know, but still a good
• 2:05
one from the no Sleep subreddit again and the title
• 2:08
of this one, at least the subject line is my
• 2:10
dead girlfriend keeps message iimmy on Facebook. I've got the screenshots.
• 2:14
I don't know what to do which already from that
• 2:16
once again, I'm going in blind. I don't know, Isaiah,
• 2:19
have you seen this one? You read this?
• 2:21
Speaker 3: I think so this story came out like twenty twelve,
• 2:23
if I remember right, twenty thirteen.
• 2:25
  Speaker 2: Another old one.
• 2:25
Speaker 3: Okay, it's another old one. I remember listening to like
• 2:29
mister Creepypasta's audio version of this when it happened, but
• 2:32
I haven't. I've looked at this story in like a decade,
• 2:34
so I remember almost nothing about it. Okay, this is
• 2:38
one of the classics. This is one of the classics, though,
• 2:43
Like there's a few old creepypasta that kind of got
• 2:46
passed around the internet, like early campfire stories, you know,
• 2:49
so to speak, like the short little slices of horror,
• 2:52
and this is one of the OG's as a lot
• 2:54
of people remember. So it's a it's a classic, like
• 2:57
  I said.
• 2:58
Speaker 2: For posts like this, because obviously the no Sleep subret
• 3:03
has to still be it's an active place, right it
• 3:06
seems like around this time, though, how many of these
• 3:08
do you think with especially like a title my dead
• 3:11
girlfriend keeps the message of me on Facebook. I've got
• 3:13
the screenshots. I don't know what to do. It's like
• 3:16
a plea for help. It almost seems like it's setting
• 3:18
up that this is supposed to be real. Ye do
• 3:20
you think does that do post like this still even
• 3:22
  happen or is it too.
• 3:25
Speaker 3: Well, Remember, one of the rules of No Sleep is
• 3:27
that it has to appear that the story made it
• 3:31
to the board in some like logical way. So there's
• 3:35
a lot of people who act as if they're someone
• 3:37
looking for help coming to the right, because that's an
• 3:40
easy way to you know, lead into the framework, so
• 3:43
to speak. But if you like, go to the subreddit
• 3:46
right now and scroll through, there are dozens and dozens
• 3:49
of scary stories with the title you know, something similar
• 3:52
  to that.
• 3:53
Speaker 2: Okay, well, yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad that that torch
• 3:56
is still being passed along as I love it. That's
• 3:58
this is fun, I mean, and once again, you know,
• 4:01
it really makes me. It really shows. It's very telling
• 4:05
that a lot of these I've never heard of, So
• 4:07
a lot of these I'm going in as a very
• 4:09
helpless little dove, all right, So I don't know, it's
• 4:12
a nice thing to feel like if you're hearing this
• 4:14
for the first time, we are in the same boat.
• 4:16
I am a newbie when it comes to a lot
• 4:18
of this stuff. So it's fun. I'm excited to get
• 4:21
into it. So without for their ado, why don't we
• 4:24
  just dive on in.
• 4:25
Speaker 3: Let's get into it. Let's dive right in. Do you
• 4:26
want to take the first section or.
• 4:28
Speaker 2: Me I will I'll take it. Which it starts off
• 4:30
by saying, tonight's kind of a catalyst for this post.
• 4:33
I just received another message, and it's worse than any
• 4:36
of the others. My girlfriend died on the seventh of
• 4:39
August twenty twelve. Yeah, she was at the LMFAO album
• 4:43
release party. All right, she was involved.
• 4:51
Speaker 3: She was involved in crime. Alright. I know those guys should.
• 4:56
Speaker 2: Go too early, too early. She was involved in it
• 5:00
three car collision driving home from work when someone ran
• 5:03
a red light. She passed away within minutes on the scene.
• 5:06
We had been dating for five years at this point.
• 5:09
She wasn't big on the idea of marriage. It fell
• 5:11
ar cake, she said, gave her a weird vibe. But
• 5:15
if she had been I would have married her within
• 5:18
three months of our relationship. She was vibrant, the kind
• 5:20
of girl that would choose dare every time. She was
• 5:23
happiest when camping, but a total techno file. She always
• 5:27
smelled like cinnamon. That's a very odd way to end deal.
• 5:31
I just want to say that I don't think you
• 5:32
can go from she was that she was happiest when camping. Hey,
• 5:36
she loved technology, and my god, she smelled like cinnamon.
• 5:41
It just feels like a smell like cinnamon. She smells sweet.
• 5:45
Speaker 3: How would you just grab what she smelled like?
• 5:48
Speaker 2: I'm trying to think about how I even described the
• 5:50
smell of my wife. This feels weird. Feel like my
• 5:55
  wife smells like apple sauce.
• 5:56
Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no wife's like vanilla, like perfumes and stuff
• 6:02
like that a lot, so I would say vanilla. But
• 6:05
that's weird. Even though there's logical reasons, it's weird.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: To say she smells like vanilla.
• 6:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, this is like, okay, are you going to eat her?
• 6:15
Speaker 2: If it only feels applicable, if it's like I kind
• 6:18
of feel, only feels like if it's applicable. If it's
• 6:20
just odd she smells like Calvin kleinkool. She smells like
• 6:25
  wrangular gene.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, regardless of how acceptable your reasoning is, it's a weird.
• 6:29
  It's a weird thing to.
• 6:30
Speaker 2: Say she's just odd.
• 6:31
  Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: But that being said, here's the thing. She wasn't perfect.
• 6:36
She always said something along the lines of if I
• 6:38
cart it first, don't just say good things about me.
• 6:41
I've never liked that. If you don't pay me out,
• 6:44
you're doing me a disservice. I've got so many flaws
• 6:47
and that's just part of me. So this is for em.
• 6:51
The music she said she liked and the music she
• 6:53
actually liked were very different. Her idea of affection was
• 6:56
a side hug. She had really long toes like a panze.
• 7:07
Speaker 3: She's got long toes. That's so funny.
• 7:09
Speaker 2: If you, if you, if you combined the last sentences together,
• 7:13
it would say she always smelled like cinnamon. She had long,
• 7:16
really long toes like a chimpanzee. Right, I just want
• 7:19
  to say, I don't know, I don't know. I like that.
• 7:21
Speaker 3: Dude, when you're coming to supposedly you're coming to a
• 7:24
board to talk about your dead girlfriend message and you
• 7:26
very like scary, you know, haunting topic, and in your
• 7:30
introduction you're like, she had long toes. She was like
• 7:32
  a chimp, even almost.
• 7:34
Speaker 2: Like she smell like cinnamon. She smelled like a she
• 7:37
smell like a bundle of cinnamon sticks.
• 7:39
Speaker 3: You know, she keep referencing previous episodes, But this is
• 7:43
how I imagine Kyle from Bosco would talk about Kimber.
• 7:46
Speaker 2: This is definitely some Kyle. Kyle to Kimber, Thank yo,
• 7:49
your toes are mad long yeah, hand me that remote
• 7:54
with your foot. I just want to.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: Say, those dogs are barking.
• 7:59
Speaker 2: But I don't feel right about discussing her without you
• 8:02
having an idea of what she was like onto the meet.
• 8:05
Em had been dead for approaching thirteen months when she
• 8:08
first messaged me, Which is just kind of interesting here
• 8:10
because now we're getting something. There's a clickable link and
• 8:13
it says September fourth, twenty thirteen, and it opens an
• 8:15
image to a Facebook message messenger yep, and at on
• 8:21
what is that? September fourth? At three point thirty one,
• 8:24
she says Hello. Nathan says, who is this? I'm really
• 8:28
it's really weird receiving messages from Emily's account. It was
• 8:31
a three thirty one. Immediately at three point forty he
• 8:34
put two question marks and said, okay, well, well, in
• 8:37
the future, please send me a message from an account,
• 8:40
even if you want to discuss her page. And then
• 8:43
on the ninth fourth or four minutes later, at three
• 8:45
forty four, she put hello again, and at three forty five,
• 8:48
Nathan says Susan, your own Emily's account, So it's just
• 8:52
it's just like Emily's old account, messaging Hello over and
• 8:56
over again. And he says, this is when it began.
• 8:59
I have to Emily's Facebook account activated so I could
• 9:02
send her the occasional message post on her wall and
• 9:05
go through her albums. It felt too final and to
• 9:09
on Emily and to on Emily whatever.
• 9:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like trying to memorialize the page. That's not something.
• 9:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it would have been too unemily like
• 9:20
to memorialize it. So I share access with her mother Susan,
• 9:24
meaning her mother has her login and password and has
• 9:27
spent a total of approximately three minutes on the website
• 9:30
or on a computer in total. And after a little confusion,
• 9:33
I assumed it was her, which then we do a
• 9:36
nice big jump to November sixteenth, twenty thirteen.
• 9:39
Speaker 3: I will later. One detail I like about that screenshot
• 9:43
is like he's obviously referencing Emily starting a message him,
• 9:46
which is the start of the story. But if you
• 9:48
look at the previous messages above, you can see that
• 9:51
like he was sending her messages like after she died,
• 9:55
and it is very heartbreaking. I've heard of that a lot.
• 9:57
Someone who loses a loved one kind of text in
• 10:00
them the last few things they wanted to say. Yeah,
• 10:03
and it's like it's a nice note for the story,
• 10:06
Like a nice little note of authenticity makes the characters
• 10:09
feel more real. Even though he did say that she
• 10:11
smells like cinnamon, it makes it feel more legitimate. So
• 10:15
  it's a nice touch. I like that.
• 10:16
  Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always nice. I mean that's always like a
• 10:18
treaged part of his story is whenever it's like you
• 10:20
you text somebody's phone or something, and it's nice to
• 10:23
know that it got sent. And then when you find
• 10:24
out that, like you text it one day and it
• 10:27
says this number isn't in service anymore. It's just kind
• 10:29
of like a stake to the heart kind of thing.
• 10:32
So it's nice to do you feel like this character
• 10:34
still has an outlet to talk to this person that
• 10:35
they really care, that they really cared for. Yeah, and
• 10:38
it is nice too, Like it doesn't just start immediately.
• 10:40
He doesn't just screenshot you know, the new messages. There's
• 10:43
still a little bit in there too. It's just a
• 10:45
  nice little.
• 10:45
Speaker 3: But like I said, it makes it feel more legitimate.
• 10:48
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
• 10:49
Speaker 3: Hey, everyone I wanted to take a quick break from
• 10:51
the show just to say that we're very thankful that
• 10:54
you're here and thank you so much for watching. It
• 10:57
really doesn't mean the world, and now I'm going to
• 11:00
immediately eliminate that goodwill by saying you probably stink, and
• 11:04
don't take that too personal. A smelly audience really says
• 11:07
more about us than it does you. But now we
• 11:10
can take care of that together thanks to today's sponsor,
• 11:13
scent Bird. We all know how effective a bad odor
• 11:16
can be at ruining your social relationships, but what we
• 11:20
often overlook is that a good smell can be just
• 11:22
as effective in a positive way. But designer fragrances can
• 11:26
be expensive, especially when you don't know where to start.
• 11:29
But now sent bird is here to help. Cent Bird
• 11:32
is a fragrance subscription that lets you try a new
• 11:34
designer fragrance every month for just seventeen dollars. Cint Bird
• 11:39
lets you pick whatever fragrance you want for each month,
• 11:42
and with brands like Gucci, Prada, and Versace, there's a
• 11:46
lot of great options to choose from. And not only
• 11:49
does each delivery come in these convenient travel cases. But
• 11:52
this isn't just some sample you may get at a
• 11:54
perfume shop. Every order is a thirty day supply of
• 11:59
your designer fe fragrance, meaning you can try it out
• 12:02
and see how you like it before committing to a
• 12:04
full bottle. Because keep in mind, some of these bottles,
• 12:07
depending on the brand, can be up to five hundred dollars,
• 12:10
so centt Berd lets you know what you're getting into
• 12:12
before you dive in. This month with cent Bird, I
• 12:15
received the dime Core Memory Fragrance, the Tommy Bahamas, Saint
• 12:20
Bart's Seascape, and the Michelle Germain's Sexual. I think the
• 12:24
Sexual is my favorite, just because it's that kind of
• 12:28
heavy masculine scent that I like to wear most of
• 12:31
the time. But something about this Tommy Bahamas one made
• 12:33
me feel like I was some sea captain in the
• 12:36
eighteen hundreds. It's like a very fresh ocean scent that
• 12:41
I'm a big fan of. And with centt Bird, you
• 12:43
can also skip a month or cancel your subscription at
• 12:46
any time. Hassel Free cent Bird is the low cost
• 12:49
way to smell like a professional, and right now there's
• 12:52
never been a better time to get in on this offer.
• 12:55
That's because if you go to Centbird dot com and
• 12:57
use the discount code creep cast you'll be able to
• 13:00
get your sent bird subscription for fifty five percent off.
• 13:04
That is right. You can get started with cent bird
• 13:07
for just a little over seven dollars for your first month.
• 13:11
Cent Bird's available in the United States and Canada, and
• 13:14
if you're in one of those regions, don't miss out
• 13:16
on this fantastic offer. Again. That's used discount code creek
• 13:20
cast to get fifty five percent off your sptbird subscription today.
• 13:25
Thank you all so much for watching the ad, and
• 13:27
thank you so much to cent bird for sponsoring the show.
• 13:30
It really does mean the most. Hope you all check
• 13:32
them out. Link is in the description, and we are
• 13:34
  back to the show.
• 13:35
Speaker 2: And you know, we skip a couple months to November,
• 13:38
and on November sixteenth, twenty thirteen, we get another hyperlink
• 13:41
  another text chat here.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: Emily says, hello, let's hit up blank trail this Sunday.
• 13:48
Nathan responds, who is this? And Emily says, the wheels
• 13:53
on the bus and come on, please tell me who
• 13:59
  you are.
• 14:00
Speaker 2: You know, please tell me who you are.
• 14:02
Speaker 3: The wheels on the bus.
• 14:03
Speaker 2: Come Do you think that that's only do you think
• 14:06
that like in text form. That just feels like maybe
• 14:08
if it's an audio thing and it's just a person
• 14:10
being like the weird bus, right, maybe that maybe that
• 14:16
could be perceived as like weird. But yeah, please tell me.
• 14:19
He's just like, please tell me who you are? Which, yeah,
• 14:22
  I don't know. I mean, I'll see. I'm not gonna
• 14:24
judge it too hard, you know, I'm not gonna I'm
• 14:25
not gonna do it, but I will say I do
• 14:27
like the idea of just a conversation just randomly starting
• 14:30
again a couple months later and also be so direct
• 14:33
by being like, hey, let's go to this trail again
• 14:36
this weekend whatever, and it's just like what, who? Who
• 14:40
is this? Because at this point too, it's like why
• 14:41
would Susan keep doing this and not respond?
• 14:44
Speaker 3: Right? Yeah, It's like it's even if it is the
• 14:46
mother having access, this is a really weird behavior. Detext
• 14:49
your dead daughter's like girlfriend after he after she's been dead,
• 14:54
or your dead daughter's boyfriend after she's been dead for
• 14:57
  over a year.
• 14:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, very strange, it is.
• 15:00
Speaker 3: And in his description for that screenshot, he says, I
• 15:03
received confirmation from Susan that she hadn't logged into EM's Facebook.
• 15:07
Since the week of her death, em knew a lot
• 15:09
of people, so I instantly assumed this was one of
• 15:12
her more tech savvy friends, ah messing with me in
• 15:17
the worst possible way. I noticed pretty much immediately that
• 15:22
whoever was chatting with me was recycling old messages from
• 15:26
m and mine's shared chat history. And then he has
• 15:28
a stream shot where you can see that the message
• 15:31
let's hit up the trail this Sunday is from an
• 15:33
old message that she sent back in March of twenty twelve,
• 15:37
So it seems like whoever's messaging him is using recycled
• 15:40
stuff from their previous conversation. The wheels on the bus
• 15:43
comment was from when we were discussing songs to play
• 15:46
on a road trip that never eventuated. Hello, happened a
• 15:50
  million times.
• 15:52
Speaker 2: Hmmm. That is kind of interesting because I don't know.
• 15:56
Now it comes into a situation too where it's just like,
• 15:58
this is like a sadistic prime yeah, because you know,
• 16:01
having the justification that he's like, I'm going to copy
• 16:04
this message and just see and then it does have
• 16:07
an exact result and stuff. But what's weird though, is
• 16:10
with that he doesn't specifically say that the wheels on
• 16:14
the bus comment that they said that that was specified
• 16:17
in the conversation, right, so that could have been a
• 16:19
personal discussion they had. I feel like he probably would
• 16:21
have had another screenshot if he had that kind of thing.
• 16:25
So it feels odd that that person would also know
• 16:27
about that conversation. Once again, it could be a close friend,
• 16:30
but it just feels odd. That part feels a bit
• 16:33
  weird to me.
• 16:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there's extra like we're getting drip fed more
• 16:38
strange details, but different options become more and more like
• 16:43
hard to believe as the story goes on. It goes
• 16:45
from like, oh, maybe it's your mom, maybe it's someone
• 16:47
messing with me, And now it's getting like you'll see,
• 16:49
you'll see as we keep going.
• 16:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, which you want to get this one?
• 16:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'll do this. So around twenty fourteen, Emily
• 16:58
started tagging herself in my photos. I would get notifications
• 17:02
for them, but the tag would generally always be removed
• 17:04
by the time I got to it. The first time
• 17:07
I actually caught one, it felt like someone had punched
• 17:09
me in the gut. She would tag herself in spaces
• 17:13
where it was plausible for her to be or where
• 17:15
she would usually hang out. I've got screenshots of two
• 17:18
from aprillan June. These are the only ones I've caught,
• 17:21
so they're a little out of the timeline I'm trying
• 17:23
to ride out. And then he includes two screenshots, so
• 17:28
it's a Facebook post. And again, whoever this user is
• 17:32
on Emily's account is tagging herself in his images in
• 17:36
just these blank spots, where as he said, someone might
• 17:39
be but they aren't. Also, okay, just side note, all right,
• 17:44
  what go ahead?
• 17:46
Speaker 2: I mean, are you looking at this image?
• 17:48
Speaker 3: Which one the first one.
• 17:50
Speaker 2: The screenshot he put so it's like the selfie with
• 17:53
the face blacked out and then like the ye the
• 17:55
commented door back there, the door with the face.
• 17:59
Speaker 3: Okay, so the face is not where the tag is.
• 18:02
I was looking at this trying to wonder if it's
• 18:04
saying that's Emily, that that face over there is her,
• 18:07
or if that's just like a thing in the back.
• 18:09
It's clearly creepy, like it's supposed to be creepy whatever
• 18:11
it is, right right, it's supposed to be something to
• 18:14
mess with you. I don't know if, because the textbox
• 18:17
is off of it, if it's saying that is or
• 18:18
she's it also don't know how Facebook works. I've never
• 18:21
had it. So if the box is right there, does
• 18:24
that mean they're specifically tagging that one spot like an Instagram?
• 18:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you have to like consciously choose a spot,
• 18:31
so it could be something where it's like I mean,
• 18:33
I'm always reading this as almost as if like she's
• 18:36
like maybe like a spiritual form there. And then maybe
• 18:39
it's that supposed to be like I don't know, this
• 18:43
jpeg creepy face in the darkness, it's supposed to be
• 18:46
like a demon or something, or like some kind of
• 18:49
entity that it's like with her or something, you know
• 18:51
what I mean. Because if not, I mean, to be fair,
• 18:53
I think I wonder if the author of this also realizes,
• 18:56
like if I put this tag box.
• 18:58
Speaker 3: On this, that may be that might be so far.
• 19:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's like I'm really playing with fire here.
• 19:07
Speaker 3: But the tag box over a few inches.
• 19:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, Now it's a mystery. Now conversation.
• 19:14
  Speaker 3: Now it's a nuanced storyteller effect. Now I'm now I'm
• 19:20
doing subversing the norm. And then in the other one,
• 19:23
it's just it's literally just like him on a couch
• 19:26
next to a tag box. But basically, uh, this fly
• 19:30
person whoever's controlling the account keeps tagging herself in his photos,
• 19:35
and if you want to take it from there, the
• 19:36
  rest of that section.
• 19:38
Speaker 2: Which I will say in the second photo where it's
• 19:40
just uh in the tag whatever, I mean like to
• 19:44
me that this is like, this is more crey. This
• 19:46
is way more creepy. It works the idea of it
• 19:49
just like it's a very casual thing and it's like, oh,
• 19:51
I'm sitting here next to you. To me, even if
• 19:53
someone was messed with me, I'd be like, this is
• 19:55
this is this is pretty fucked up, Like what what
• 19:58
  is going on?
• 19:58
  Speaker 3: Why?
• 19:59
Speaker 2: Why would someone do this? It feels just yes statistic,
• 20:02
which he goes on to say, around this period of time,
• 20:04
I stopped being able to sleep. I was too hungry
• 20:07
and angry to sleep. She would tag herself in random
• 20:10
photos every couple of weeks. The friends who noticed and
• 20:14
said something thought it was fucked up. I thought it
• 20:17
was a fucked up bug I found out recently. Sorry
• 20:20
  about that.
• 20:20
Speaker 3: No, no, no, I'm laughing because it sounds like it sounds
• 20:23
like it's a bug that looks weird, like a physical Yeah.
• 20:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's probably just like a moth. You don't have
• 20:30
to worry about it, Nathan, You're freaking out, man.
• 20:32
Speaker 3: You ever consider it's just a bug? You got like.
• 20:34
Speaker 2: Bugs say, it's probably just a lady bug or like
• 20:37
a fire ant. Don't even worry about it. I found
• 20:40
out recently that there have been friends who have noticed
• 20:43
and didn't say anything. Some of them have removed removed
• 20:46
me from their Facebook's friends list. Oh wow. So because
• 20:49
they see some of these tag things, they're probably assuming
• 20:51
that he's the one doing it, and they're probably like, Okay,
• 20:53
he's going off the deep end, you know what I mean?
• 20:56
Speaker 3: Of course, I mean, like, you know, a guy and
• 20:58
then he starts posting picture and his dead girlfriend's tagged
• 21:01
in him. Who would you assume is doing it? You know?
• 21:03
  Speaker 2: I I also and I don't want to, you know,
• 21:06
I don't want a dog pile in this guy. But
• 21:09
even before he gets into this, I mean, he's talking
• 21:11
about like his girlfriend smells like cinnamon, just chimpanzee feet.
• 21:14
I bet it was not hard to press that unfollowed down.
• 21:18
You know what I mean, My girlfriend or long ass toes.
• 21:22
Speaker 3: What he was saying to her when she was alive, right, yeah, exactly,
• 21:26
she got like chip feet I bet he was saying
• 21:28
some wild stuff to her while she was around.
• 21:31
Speaker 2: Oh my god, am your breast smells like pizza rolls.
• 21:35
It's like, cool, does your boyfriend have to be here?
• 21:38
Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, he went to her funeral the same
• 21:41
way Kyle went to Kimber's mom's funeral.
• 21:44
Speaker 2: I am under the same impression that Ice as the
• 21:46
same universe and they were best friends.
• 21:47
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 21:48
Speaker 2: Absolutely, the same guy written out of the story because
• 21:50
  they're like, it's too much.
• 21:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, listening to Lincoln Park Way too loud.
• 21:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, breaking the habit over and over again. He just
• 21:58
keeps asking for more and more. Gun, Yo, can I
• 22:00
  get another piece of hell?
• 22:03
  Speaker 3: Yeah?
• 22:03
Speaker 2: Man, open up the glove compartment, get yourself some.
• 22:07
  Speaker 3: Ye.
• 22:09
Speaker 2: Just as you just dive, I feel.
• 22:12
Speaker 3: Like a lung is gonna fly up here in a second.
• 22:14
So that'll be cool if that happens.
• 22:15
Speaker 2: Stay tuned. That would be so that'd be so intense.
• 22:19
If you actually coughed up an organ, if I died, No, no, no, no,
• 22:24
no no, I don't want you to die. I'm just saying,
• 22:25
if you coughed up a little piece of your your lung.
• 22:27
Because here's what we record this, and I cannot see him,
• 22:30
so if something does horrible happen, I'm gonna be like, Okay,
• 22:33
come on about it. It's just like a murder scene
• 22:35
over there, and I'm like, all right, I'm gonna.
• 22:39
Speaker 3: Like fake blood and stuff and start like pouring it
• 22:41
out of my mouth. And then like, whenever you go
• 22:43
back and watch this recording, you'll be like, oh my gosh.
• 22:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna watch the edit and be like, oh.
• 22:48
Speaker 3: God, he's dead and I killed him.
• 22:53
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, which he goes on to say.
• 22:57
At this point, some of you may be wondering, why
• 23:00
didn't just kill my Facebook profile. I wish I had.
• 23:03
I did for a little while on days when I
• 23:05
can't get out there, though, it's nice having my friends
• 23:08
available to chat. It's nice visiting M's page when the
• 23:11
little green circle isn't next to her name. I was
• 23:14
already socially reclusive when M was alive, Oh no way.
• 23:17
Her death turned me into something pretty close to a hermit.
• 23:20
And Facebook and MMOs were and are my only real
• 23:24
social outlets. Oh god, this guy is just he's digging
• 23:28
  into a whole.
• 23:29
Speaker 4: He's like, it's about to be kind of weird. But
• 23:34
I have a bit of a social recluse myself at
• 23:37
the Facebook and well the wall craft by odly social outlets. God,
• 23:42
I miss I missed EBB so much.
• 23:44
Speaker 3: I hope it turns out the only reason this is
• 23:46
happening is because, like someone got mad when they found
• 23:49
out he plays Legal Legends, so they're like, I'm gonna
• 23:52
  bully this guy.
• 23:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. They find out, they're like, oh my god,
• 23:56
this guy he's like a big league and World of
• 23:58
Warcraft player. He's like as chudged that is what he says,
• 24:02
and we do go on to March fifteenth. There's another
• 24:05
screenshot I am like in the I am like, I'm
• 24:07
not gonna lie scrolling through here and clicking the hyperlinks
• 24:09
to open up the old chat. It's fun.
• 24:11
Speaker 3: It's fun. It's like, I love these interactive stories like
• 24:14
that where there's little stuff like sure it may not
• 24:16
be the best quality, but I'm having a good time. Yeah.
• 24:19
  Speaker 1: No.
• 24:20
Speaker 2: As an immersive and interactable experience, it's fun.
• 24:23
Speaker 3: It's fun. You know.
• 24:24
Speaker 2: It's almost like a choose your and adventure thing, except
• 24:26
it's already pre chosen for you. But still I feel
• 24:28
like I have like, I'm like, okay, we'll open this file. Okay,
• 24:31
well this is odd well, Nathan, okay, which Nathan on
• 24:34
the March. On the March fifteenth, he says, I sent
• 24:39
what I assumed was M's hacker a message, and he
• 24:42
just put why are you doing this? Why do you
• 24:44
keep tagging her? So he just he goes on the offense.
• 24:47
Speaker 3: Here he's trying to ask the account what's going on? Right,
• 24:50
And then on March the twenty fifth, it says that
• 24:53
he receives an answer. So in the screenshot we have,
• 24:56
Emily says hello, and then Hello Hello more times over
• 25:01
the course of March the twenty fifth, and Nathan eventually replies,
• 25:04
this is actually devastating. I don't know why you enjoy
• 25:07
doing this. Emily says, omg cinnamon sent in candles? No, oh, no, cinnamon,
• 25:13
Nathan says. Nathan says, go to hell, and Emily says,
• 25:17
why are you doing this? Interesting? So, for one, the cinnamon,
• 25:22
I'm sure is the reference back. I mean you'll probably
• 25:24
explain a second, a reference back to the beginning. But
• 25:26
the why are you doing this is a message that
• 25:28
he sent, So now it's tupping his messages as well.
• 25:31
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not gonna lie. Having someone just keep
• 25:34
harassing you by saying hello is so simple, but is
• 25:36
  actually horrifying.
• 25:37
Speaker 3: Yeah, if it's coming from like your dead girlfriend, absolutely yeah.
• 25:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, and especially I love the response of this is
• 25:43
actually devastating. I don't know why you enjoy doing this,
• 25:46
and they just respond with like a quirky, cute answer,
• 25:49
like I've said this word a million times, but it
• 25:51
is completely sadistic, and it's just like maniacal at this point,
• 25:55
like if it is a hacker, I mean now it's
• 25:59
like I'm almost even afraid of just the hacker, not
• 26:01
even the fact that it's like my girlfriends, and I'm
• 26:03
just like, this is just a weird, demented thing. And
• 26:07
to be fair, by this point, would you if you
• 26:09
this is like your social media profile and this is you,
• 26:11
would you delete it already or would you would you
• 26:13
try to like get down to who is doing this?
• 26:15
Speaker 3: Well, let's see, if it was wind again, I'd probably
• 26:18
keep it because that's my income.
• 26:20
Speaker 2: But well, I mean, if you're if you're regular regular
• 26:24
Joe Nathan, sure, if this is just if this is just.
• 26:26
  Speaker 3: A regular I would want to know. I wouldn't because
• 26:30
if I if I delete it and never interact with it.
• 26:32
I'd spend the rest of my life like, who was that?
• 26:34
  What was happening?
• 26:35
  Speaker 2: I would that's true, that's true, And I think I
• 26:38
think there's something to be said to where it's like,
• 26:40
what if it just depends on what day it is.
• 26:42
If some days, if it's just like you feel like
• 26:44
you're peeling your skin off, you know what I mean,
• 26:46
it might just be easier to be like, I'm just
• 26:48
not even gonna look at it. Yeah, But then I
• 26:50
feel like, you're right, I feel like it's like a
• 26:51
thorn in your side where you would be like, I
• 26:53
think it would haunt you if you didn't continuously pursue it.
• 26:56
Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. And in his description for that previous screenshot,
• 27:00
Nathan says, it wasn't until I was going over these
• 27:04
low these logs a few months later that I noticed
• 27:06
she was recycling my own words as well. My response
• 27:10
seems kind of Lackluster're here, I was intentionally providing him
• 27:13
or her with emotional bait. This is actually devastating to
• 27:17
keep them interested in their game. I was working off
• 27:20
the assumption that the kind of person to do this
• 27:22
would be the kind of person that would thrive on
• 27:24
the distress of others. I was posting in tech forums
• 27:28
looking for ways to track this person contacting Facebook. I
• 27:32
needed to keep them around so I could gather evidence
• 27:35
before anyone asks, yes, I had changed the password and
• 27:38
all security info countless times. So now he's he's in
• 27:42
the same boat of what we're talking about, of like
• 27:44
I have to figure out who this is. So even
• 27:46
his response of like this is devastating is just bait
• 27:49
  to keep this going.
• 27:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean that's the thing is like you're
• 27:53
he's trying to set up a trap here, and uh,
• 27:57
I mean, hey, got you're setting You're setting up a
• 27:59
t right, But at the same time, he's desperately trying
• 28:03
to figure out what exactly is happenating is happening, So
• 28:06
it's almost like this desperate attempt of like trying to
• 28:10
capture something that you have no idea, like hopelessly and
• 28:13
desperately trying to capture something, and it kind of sucks.
• 28:16
And also he probably feels like he's going insane, and
• 28:18
he's even like even the last part here where he
• 28:20
says before anyone asks, yes, I had changed the password
• 28:23
insecurity info countless times, So he's even trying to like
• 28:27
stop people from like questioning possibly this insanity that he's
• 28:31
following through this kind of like hyperfixation. It's like a
• 28:34
little subtle sprinkle there that I like, Yeah, which on
• 28:37
the next one here, on the sixteenth of April, he
• 28:39
received this this is another hyperdeal hyperchain. Emily sent me
• 28:44
a message on the twenty fifth at two fifty four
• 28:47
saying why are you doing this, which is from the
• 28:49
deal before, And then on the sixteenth of April at
• 28:54
twelve seventeen am, so pretty much midnight, she responded again,
• 28:58
or the count responded and said we should make our
• 29:00
own jam JFC Samantha, no different, no chance of passing,
• 29:06
no chance of passing. How many garage side door side
• 29:14
  I no chance of passing?
• 29:17
Speaker 3: You know. That's actually the first section that's kind of
• 29:19
got me a little bit. Yeah, the idea of like, well,
• 29:23
this girl dies. And then it's like sections from previous conversations.
• 29:27
But it's like the thing that sending them doesn't understand
• 29:29
what they mean, so it just keeps re sending them
• 29:32
over and over. It's really that's that's kind of a
• 29:34
haunting part. I like that. That's a good it's good
• 29:37
  I do too.
• 29:38
Speaker 2: I mean It was the idea too, I said earlier,
• 29:39
where like I really liked the idea of just the
• 29:41
simple hello approach. It's like an inhuman thing mimicking a
• 29:46
human conversation, but recycling conversations in random order, Like it
• 29:50
doesn't know how to actually formulate these thoughts or these
• 29:54
like conscious conversations. It's kind of weird. His description to
• 29:58
that was, this seems like a world's words, Like all
• 30:01
of our conversations so far, it's recycled from previous messages.
• 30:04
She sent on the twenty ninth of April. Open up
• 30:07
another one here twenty ninth, she says, baked beans on toast,
• 30:13
which now it seems like these are all happening around midnight.
• 30:15
I'm trying to keep I'm also trying to keep a
• 30:17
tally on what time, if there's any correlation with like
• 30:20
weird uh, you know, because people used see like ghost
• 30:22
stuff for like like the the witching hours at three
• 30:25
point thirty and that kind of stuff. So I'm trying
• 30:27
to see if it's correlating with that at all. But
• 30:29
at twelve twenty, I believe it's gonna be midnight. It
• 30:32
doesn't say AM or PM, but it says baked beans
• 30:35
on toast. I don't know, I just said yo, asked Nathan,
• 30:40
and then it says Nathan, Nathan, Nathan. And then Nathan
• 30:44
responds about twenty minutes later and says, I don't know
• 30:46
what's happening. I don't know how you're still doing this.
• 30:49
Please stop, and then she responds almost immediately and says,
• 30:54
  please stop. I don't know what's happening, Nathan. I don't
• 30:56
know what's happening. Happening, which is pretty that's actually punting.
• 31:00
Speaker 3: That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Yeah, that I'm in
• 31:03
  I'm into it.
• 31:04
Speaker 2: Yeah. That that that that got me. I love the
• 31:06
idea too, of like you asking a question and then
• 31:08
now whenever the person repeats it, it takes on a
• 31:10
  completely Yeah, that's that's fun.
• 31:14
Speaker 3: The idea of, like, I think the implication I'm getting
• 31:17
set whatever sending these messages is trying to learn how
• 31:19
Emily would speak or learn what the words mean. So
• 31:22
it's like, that's why it keeps re using old messages
• 31:25
to see if he gets the same response, and as
• 31:27
soon as Nathan responds, it's it looks like it's starting
• 31:30
to put ideas together. I don't know what's happening, Nathan,
• 31:32
I don't know what's happening using your dead girlfriend. Oh
• 31:35
  that's so good. It's like a it's like a digital
• 31:37
  skin walker almost. Yeah.
• 31:40
Speaker 2: I mean here, here's a question I want to ask you.
• 31:43
Is there any way where this could be interpreted as
• 31:47
her spirit and like whenever, if your spirit goes on
• 31:50
or something like that, could it try recontacting you but
• 31:53
not be able to like almost like her, like almost
• 31:56
like her essence or spirit is trying to relearn as well,
• 31:59
like it is her trying to contact him, and it's
• 32:01
using her own conversations with him to come back. Yeah,
• 32:05
  you know what I mean.
• 32:06
Speaker 3: There was one culture I can't remember who it was.
• 32:09
It may have just been in some like mysticism related
• 32:11
to Christianity or whatever. Anyway, there's this belief that when
• 32:14
someone dies, they become a ghost that has no memories
• 32:17
of their life, so the ghost has to learn everything
• 32:20
again as if it's a toddler fully grown up. And
• 32:24
that supposedly one of the reasons that at haunted locations
• 32:27
you'll see stuff move or like say it in the
• 32:30
bedroom of someone who died, you'll see like stuff in
• 32:32
there and get shifted around. It's because the ghost is
• 32:35
trying to relearn its life and touching stuff to see
• 32:38
what to see what it was, or to see what
• 32:41
it does. And I kind of get that vibe from this.
• 32:43
Speaker 2: I mean that's haunting within itself. Yeah, it's like when
• 32:47
if you pass and then you wake up and you
• 32:48
have no memory, it's horribly sad.
• 32:50
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 32:50
Speaker 2: It also makes me think too if somebody is if
• 32:53
they did start and they had no conscious like no
• 32:56
recollection of before. But then something even more haunting on
• 32:59
thinking is if she slowly begins to realize where she is,
• 33:03
and then that's the deal of Like, I don't know
• 33:04
what's happening, is somebody coming back to realization but feeling
• 33:08
like they're in a different plane of existence as this
• 33:10
other person feels kind of creepy too, just kind of
• 33:13
like being in the in and out which to get
• 33:15
back to it. He uh. His description for this one
• 33:18
is I haven't discovered any leads. Facebook had told me
• 33:21
the locations her page had been accessed from, but since
• 33:23
her death, there are all places I can account for
• 33:26
my home, my work, her mum's house. Okay, we know where,
• 33:29
we know exactly where we are.
• 33:31
Speaker 1: Boo boo, British people, yuck.
• 33:37
Speaker 2: My response here wasn't bait Yo asked Nathan was an
• 33:41
in joke too lame worth explaining, but seeing her say
• 33:44
it again just absolutely crippled me. My reaction in real
• 33:48
life was much less prettier. I'm not expecting my bond
• 33:51
back her last few messages. Her last few messages had
• 33:55
started to scare me. I wouldn't admit it at this point,
• 33:59
So now you it's kind of weird, is uh? Do
• 34:02
you think it's kind of weird that by this point
• 34:03
he's also saying like he's using the words like she
• 34:06
instead of hacker and stuff. Do you think he's buying
• 34:09
  into it a point?
• 34:09
  Speaker 3: That's a good point. I didn't even catch that. Yeah,
• 34:12
it's like he's, uh, you're starting to see her as
• 34:16
  Emily almost.
• 34:17
  Speaker 2: That's yeah, I don't. I don't know if he's completely
• 34:20
bought in. But at the same time, I think.
• 34:21
Speaker 3: That, like the looks very nice.
• 34:25
Speaker 2: Well, I've I've had many many dead relatives message me
• 34:28
  before signs to look.
• 34:31
Speaker 3: For I've walked these roads before. I know, I know
• 34:34
  the stories follow me.
• 34:35
Speaker 2: You don't even know how haunting my my space with
• 34:38
the dead family members that explains wells.
• 34:41
Speaker 3: That explains a lot. Honestly, I distinctly, I distinctly remember
• 34:45
watching I think my first introduction to you was the
• 34:47
ed Ed and Eddie video about the gunball and I
• 34:50
was like, whoever made this had to be an absolute psychopath.
• 34:53
Speaker 2: And you know what, I was right, years of years
• 34:56
of having a MySpace page with mud vein songs being
• 35:00
entering page did not cater to my wellbeing.
• 35:04
Speaker 3: I don't think, oh my gosh, that's so what did
• 35:06
you have an insane clown posse song on there at
• 35:08
  one point?
• 35:09
Speaker 2: No, no, no, I never got into insane clown posse.
• 35:12
I had too much pride, that is to say too
• 35:14
if if if we do have any juggalos in our
• 35:17
in our fandom here, I just want to say you're welcome.
• 35:19
  But I don't understand.
• 35:21
Speaker 3: I don't know you should want to keep the welcome part.
• 35:23
We can tackle that one back, okay.
• 35:26
Speaker 2: Or maybe they're not welcome you halfway.
• 35:28
Speaker 3: One of the co hosts that you're welcome, so that's
• 35:29
  a half, that's half.
• 35:32
Speaker 2: You know, they like bad music and they you know,
• 35:34
  they probably like meth.
• 35:35
  Speaker 3: I don't.
• 35:35
  Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what I'm supposed to say,
• 35:37
you know what, a different strokes for different folks.
• 35:41
Speaker 3: Okay. So the next screene shot is from the eighth
• 35:45
of May, and he also gives the hyper length the
• 35:48
description that he doesn't really have words for this. This
• 35:52
is the following messages again. The first ones from this
• 35:55
are on the fifth of May, at around one pm
• 35:57
one O seven pm, when Emily says I I twelve fifteen,
• 36:05
and then at one twenty two sends a string of
• 36:08
messages that says, my jumper's in the dryer and it's
• 36:11
really cold out, really cold, out cold cold, Nathan, please
• 36:18
stop I cold freezing. I don't know what's happening, all right,
• 36:27
that's actually actually, that's actually, it's actually it's actually pretty great.
• 36:30
That's pretty creepy. Okay. To make it even worse, his
• 36:33
description for that image says, freezing is the first original
• 36:38
  word she's made.
• 36:40
  Speaker 2: No very true.
• 36:43
  Speaker 3: Oh that's that's stuff. It's like it's learning words, but
• 36:45
it's describing something awful. This has given me nightmares that
• 36:50
have only started to kick in recently. I keep dreaming
• 36:53
that she's in an ice cold car, frozen blue and gray,
• 36:57
and I'm standing outside in the wharf screaming at her
• 36:59
to open the door. She doesn't even realize I'm there.
• 37:02
Sometimes her legs are outside with me. Oh, bro, bro,
• 37:07
I remember she died in a car accident.
• 37:09
  Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 37:11
Speaker 3: He's a picturing her soul stuck in the car, like
• 37:14
in the cold weather, talking to him.
• 37:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like a frozen sarcophagus and he's on
• 37:19
the outside, on the outside, unable to help. Those are
• 37:21
always the worst dreams too, dude. I'm know if you're
• 37:24
having those dreams. I've had dreams where like something happens,
• 37:26
like a relative or whatever, and you're like trying to
• 37:28
like grab them or whatever or hit somebody, and it's
• 37:31
like you have no strength. Those are the those have
• 37:33
to be the worst dreams. I hate those.
• 37:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, when you're trying to do something and you can't,
• 37:38
you can't perform or like get something done. I'll have
• 37:40
dreams for like I'm trying to lift something off of
• 37:42
someone and even if it's something pretty easy to lift,
• 37:44
I just can't do it. It's very it's very you
• 37:47
wake up like like stressed out, like you.
• 37:52
Speaker 2: I always wake up really exhausted.
• 37:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like you were fire.
• 37:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I remember like one time I had this
• 37:59
dream where I was running away from somebody who was
• 38:02
like some kind of like entity that was chasing me.
• 38:04
It might have been something when I was younger, where
• 38:06
it might have been like, you know, Adjason vorhe's as character,
• 38:10
not necessarily him, but like somebody who's like, oh, this
• 38:12
guy's gonna kill me kind of thing, right, And as
• 38:14
I was running away, it just like I was like
• 38:17
like breathing really heavily, and I just which would have
• 38:20
been very much like real life. But I sat there
• 38:22
and I uh like it was almost like all of
• 38:24
my muscles were just like giving out and I was gassed.
• 38:27
And when I woke up, I like my whole body
• 38:30
was just like physically exhausted. And I'm wondering if it's
• 38:32
like when you're in those situations too, in those dreams,
• 38:34
if you're like all of your muscles are like contracting,
• 38:36
or if you're like squeezing stuff or actively like you know,
• 38:39
you're like like moving, or your muscles are gyrating in
• 38:43
some kind of way. Who knows, but it's I don't.
• 38:46
I hate those dreams. It's the worst. It, especially have
• 38:48
nightmares where you're like you're watching something as very real
• 38:52
as your girlfriend be trapped in a car and having
• 38:54
all these things, they would just be too much. At
• 38:56
what point I'd be like when am I gonna get
• 38:57
  a break?
• 38:58
Speaker 3: Yeah? I just want to sleep, bro, it's not worth it.
• 39:02
Like there's there's like a lot of nightmares I've had,
• 39:07
especially around like loved ones dying and stuff like that.
• 39:09
None that intense, but something like that messes with people.
• 39:12
Speaker 2: Man, oh one hundred percent, I mean it had. There's
• 39:16
definitely psychological things that have ripples into your brain of
• 39:19
your brain trying to process things and like not necessarily
• 39:22
delete memories, but it's like thoughts or whatever things that
• 39:25
your brain is processing and then unfortunately it just fought
• 39:28
it falls in the file cabinet of dreams where it
• 39:31
feels super real and horrifying. So that's unfortunately just your
• 39:35
brain working and what's kind of weird too. So far
• 39:38
to go back even talk about this a bit is
• 39:39
like the time jumps in stuff. There's something pretty torturous
• 39:43
about like he gets about a week or two off
• 39:46
now or something like maybe a month at most, but
• 39:49
now it's like he gets a week or two off.
• 39:51
He has to deal with the things that he's like
• 39:53
he's trying to process stuff, and then something just kind
• 39:55
of like rears its head back and it's like, hello,
• 39:58
here's another message. I mean that could be tortuous. Yeah,
• 40:00
there's no end. You almost wish it would happen consecutively
• 40:03
and then something, you know, let it be done with. Instead,
• 40:05
it's just like this very it's like blood letting or
• 40:08
something slowly, slowly you're just seeping out from the inside.
• 40:12
  It just it would suck.
• 40:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm bothered with it. This is better than
• 40:17
I remember so far. I like the new one.
• 40:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, what's weird is it started kind of cheesy, but
• 40:21
I'm getting I'm invested now, even in so much of
• 40:23
just like just clicking the hyperlinks. It's like kind of
• 40:26
like opening up documents like an SEP thing. Yeahright, levels
• 40:29
  or whatever.
• 40:30
  Speaker 3: It's fun.
• 40:30
Speaker 2: It's it's fun feeling like you're getting to snoop around something.
• 40:33
It's nice. Which on the twenty fourth of May, we
• 40:35
get another message from him and it says this at
• 40:38
uh at twenty two to fifty three. Oh now we're
• 40:41
  going into like commanded up.
• 40:46
Speaker 3: He's making this operation.
• 40:50
Speaker 2: Which this would be like at ten at night, right, yeah, no,
• 40:57
  this is midnight fifty three.
• 40:58
Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm very stupid. You're right. This is ten fifty Yeah, it's.
• 41:01
Speaker 2: Ten ten yeah. HER's is midnight seven yeah yeah, yeah,
• 41:07
so like ten fifty three. He says, I'm really drunk.
• 41:11
I miss you whoever's on this account. I don't give
• 41:14
a fuck. I keep coming home from work and expecting
• 41:17
to see you at the computer. Shouldn't I be used?
• 41:20
Shouldn't I be used to that by now? And then
• 41:23
about two hours later, Emily messages and says, you used
• 41:29
let me walk, ust let me walk.
• 41:32
Speaker 3: It made me trying to say just let me.
• 41:34
Speaker 2: Walk, yeah, or just let me talk is what I
• 41:37
was thinking, Just let me walk in okay, just let
• 41:41
me walk. And curious to see what his description is.
• 41:45
He said I was actually I was actually drunk, or
• 41:48
I wasn't actually drunk. She wasn't an affectionate girl, and
• 41:52
it always embarrassed her to exchange I love youse, cuddle
• 41:55
and talk about how much we meant to each other.
• 41:57
She was more comfortable with it when I was boozed up.
• 42:00
I got fake drunk a lot, poor guy.
• 42:03
Speaker 3: Yeah her, that's pretty sad, all right, continue her reply. Yes,
• 42:07
I'm just like damn dude. That sucks man, glad she's dead, though,
• 42:11
am I right up to up top?
• 42:12
Speaker 2: You want to get not fake drunk together? And like,
• 42:14
I don't know. Her reply is what prompted me to
• 42:17
finally memorize. Memorial memorialize her page, memorialize. Oh my god.
• 42:24
Her reply is what prompted me to finally memorialize her page,
• 42:27
thinking it might help me curb this behavior. It might
• 42:29
seem innocuous compared to a previous message. It pasted from
• 42:32
an old conversation where I was trying to convince her
• 42:35
to let me drive her home from a friends. In
• 42:37
the collision, the dashboard had crushed her. She was severed
• 42:40
in a diagonal line from her right hip to the
• 42:43
midway down her left thigh. One of her legs was
• 42:45
found tucked on the back seat.
• 42:47
Speaker 1: Oh my god, word.
• 42:49
Speaker 3: Oh no, no, I think I see, Oh I think
• 42:51
I see what's going on here. So maybe, Okay, So
• 42:54
it says that there was a previous conversation and he
• 42:56
was trying to convince her to let him drive her home, right.
• 43:01
Speaker 2: So maybe is it trying to assume that she was drunk?
• 43:03
Speaker 3: That's what I think. Maybe there was some like maybe
• 43:07
she got drunk the night of the crash and says
• 43:09
in the collision, she was crushed, she was severed in half,
• 43:13
and one of her legs was found tucked under the
• 43:14
back seat, and the message is from a time when
• 43:17
he was trying to convince her to not drive drunk,
• 43:19
and the phrases just let me walk, bro oh oh.
• 43:26
Speaker 2: Just let me walk.
• 43:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, her legs are gone.
• 43:28
Speaker 2: But you it's interesting too, though, is it's? Well, here's
• 43:32
the thing, is it? Do you think? Well, I don't
• 43:33
know where the message gonna come from, but that having
• 43:35
the J there feels like it's a typo of some kind.
• 43:39
I think it is to where it's like somebody must
• 43:41
be typing instead of a copy past situation.
• 43:43
Speaker 3: Again Yeah, yeah, Well, he says, it's from an old
• 43:45
conversation when she was drunk and talking, so she was
• 43:49
probably drunk and didn't put the J like made a typo,
• 43:52
So that that was one of her messages from back
• 43:54
whenever they were having this conversation where he was trying
• 43:56
to convince her to let him drive. So well, yeah,
• 44:00
it's just coffee pasting her message from back then. But
• 44:03
now there's way too much sense to it. He's describing
• 44:05
being drunk and she uses a message from when she
• 44:08
was drunk or when the real Emily was drunk, and
• 44:11
it's specifically about walking, which, of course, as mentioned, she
• 44:14
lost her legs in the accident.
• 44:15
  Speaker 1: Hey.
• 44:15
Speaker 2: Then the next text of look Too says, going back
• 44:18
in time, seventh of August twenty twelve, I'm kind of
• 44:20
interested here, which on August seventh he said, Hey, you
• 44:24
on your way home? Question mark Emily. Then, like maybe
• 44:28
twenty minutes later, he says, when you see this message,
• 44:31
please ring me straight away. I rang blank and they
• 44:34
said you left it four. I'm starting to panic. I
• 44:37
feel sick in my stomach. Please ring me. A couple
• 44:41
hours go by, Emily, Emily, answer your phone.
• 44:46
Speaker 3: This is when she had the accident.
• 44:47
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And it says these logs were from the
• 44:50
day she died. She was usually home from work by
• 44:53
four thirty. This alongside a couple of voicemail messages and
• 44:55
the last time I talked to her under the assumption
• 44:57
that she was alive. You'll see why I'm showing you
• 45:00
these soon. On the this is the looks like the
• 45:02
last one, it says. The hyperlink says yesterday, the first
• 45:05
of July twenty fourteen, and it says, Oh, she messaged
• 45:10
him nineteen nineteen, which that would have been nine nine nineteen.
• 45:14
Speaker 3: At night seven seven nineteen.
• 45:16
Speaker 2: Hey, are your way home, Emily? When you see these messages,
• 45:19
please ring me straight away. Please stop. I rang blank
• 45:23
and they said you left it five. I'm starting to panic.
• 45:25
Please stop cold, Emily, Emily, answer your phone. I don't
• 45:31
know what's happening. Cold freezing. That was over the course
• 45:34
  of about an hour.
• 45:40
  Speaker 3: That's good, that's good.
• 45:41
Speaker 2: That goes hard, okay, he says. I memoralized her page
• 45:45
a couple of days after receiving the message about walking.
• 45:48
Until today, she'd been quiet. She wasn't even tagging herself
• 45:51
in my photos. I don't know what to do anymore.
• 45:54
Do I kill her memorial page? What if it is her?
• 45:57
  I want to puke. I don't know what's happening. I
• 46:00
just heard of Facebook, alerk. I'm too afraid to swap
• 46:02
windows and check it. And that's where it ends.
• 46:05
Speaker 3: I like it. That was good. That was good.
• 46:09
Speaker 2: It's always really fascinating when something this short can be
• 46:12
such a fun, captivating thing. And that's one thing I
• 46:14
like about these short stories, is uh using social media
• 46:19
in a complex way. You don't see a lot of
• 46:21
movies or like a lot of new narratives by like
• 46:25
I don't know traditional mediums like like I said, like
• 46:27
movies or something, because usually they would take this and
• 46:30
it would be like, what the fuck is that movie?
• 46:32
That zoom call movie is unfriendly and it's like the
• 46:38
girl he bullied in school, she's a ghost now and
• 46:40
she's haunting us, and it's it's like that there's something really,
• 46:45
you know, And they've they've tried doing some stuff like
• 46:47
this with messing with social media. Like I thought, was
• 46:50
uh that one with the guy who's trying to find
• 46:53
his daughter, I think it's just called missing. I think
• 46:55
it might just be called missing. I can't remember. But
• 46:57
he's like going through her Facebook and it's all kind
• 46:59
of from the perspective of his computer and social media
• 47:01
and stuff. But it's very effective. It's fun to see
• 47:04
somebody who has clearly used this kind of thing and
• 47:08
writing something that is for an audience of people on
• 47:11
social media who use it in this way as well,
• 47:14
and who could also comprehend that you can like make
• 47:16
something fun and believable like this. It's just a lot
• 47:18
of fun. And also to end it too on such
• 47:21
a fun little moment where're like, what what happened? And
• 47:24
then you just know, kind of like Ted the Caver.
• 47:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of stops like right before, right before
• 47:30
what would naturally be the conclusion point of a story,
• 47:33
and here it's to build up the fear. It's a
• 47:35
thing seen in a lot of you know, classic horror stuff.
• 47:39
Speaker 2: What do you think the emphasis on cold and freezing is?
• 47:41
Do you think it's just like that?
• 47:42
Speaker 3: I think I think if I had to guess his
• 47:46
whole dream of seeing her trapped in a car in
• 47:49
like the freezing cold, I think her spirit still out there,
• 47:52
just kind of like left outside in the cold, maybe
• 47:54
maybe like proverbially inside of a car, and she's freezing,
• 47:58
and she's trying to reach out to him to get
• 47:59
him to help her, but these communications is all she
• 48:01
  can get through.
• 48:02
Speaker 2: What's so haunting about this too is the idea of
• 48:04
not being able to help, you know what I mean,
• 48:07
because this spirit could be reaching out to them and
• 48:10
trying to find Like I think the part of the
• 48:13
thing here is that the poster here is like saying,
• 48:18
like you kind of by the end, you kind of
• 48:20
feel that they believe that it is her I know
• 48:23
that they say they're like, you know what if it
• 48:27
is her, But I think that it's almost like reading
• 48:29
in a way where someone's like wanting that validation of
• 48:31
someone being like it probably is because you want it
• 48:33
to be real. And it's that feeling too, where it's
• 48:35
like you just have no way of helping somebody or
• 48:39
no way of communicating with them, especially if it's something
• 48:41
where somebody's just rescending messages, almost as if they're accessing
• 48:45
another computer and just pasting and copying and pasting.
• 48:49
Speaker 3: There is a screenshot. So after this guy made the story,
• 48:55
he added an update to his page that is technically
• 48:58
  the ending of the story.
• 49:00
  Speaker 2: Oh really, it's like a.
• 49:01
Speaker 3: One page thing. I have to type in. I hate
• 49:04
it here. I have to type in the link. Let
• 49:06
  me send you the screenshot.
• 49:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, I say, show me the show me the screenshot you're.
• 49:11
Speaker 3: The image of requesting does not exist. Do not tell
• 49:13
me this is lost media. I will throw up. I
• 49:17
will I will do something painful right now, don't you dare?
• 49:23
Do not tell me these two images.
• 49:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, we're trying to. We have to. We can't actually
• 49:28
click the photos. We have to actually type in the
• 49:31
  Oh I.
• 49:32
Speaker 3: Found the post. Okay, cool, we're so back. We're so back.
• 49:36
Speaker 2: All right, you found it?
• 49:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, I found it. Yeah, yeah, we're good. We're back.
• 49:41
All right. This is his update. Let me copy the links.
• 49:43
Speaker 2: And oh I found it too, Yeah, I found it.
• 49:45
Speaker 3: Okay. The update where he says I checked the alert.
• 49:48
Speaker 1: Oh oh like that.
• 49:52
Speaker 3: Oh no, no, that was the worst thing. Oh no,
• 49:57
oh no, oh my gosh. All right, well, I wish
• 50:00
  I didn't find that.
• 50:02
Speaker 2: I want to. I've only seen the one where it's
• 50:04
just a computer. I'm putting in the other one. And
• 50:06
then the message says freezing, So this feels very threatening
• 50:10
and that's definitely him. So it's a zoom in again.
• 50:12
I'm guessing his window and that's his computer.
• 50:15
Speaker 3: Yep. Oh no, oh no.
• 50:18
Speaker 2: And then here the post says I checked the alert.
• 50:20
I heard it as I was compiling and editing the post.
• 50:22
This is the message. That's my door, that's my computer.
• 50:26
It's taken from outside. I got the message three hours ago,
• 50:29
but didn't check it until now. I'm on my tablet
• 50:32
in my garage zen for now going to drive to
• 50:35
a friends. Forgot to open the garage door in my panic,
• 50:38
so building up the nerve to get out to do that.
• 50:39
Now I should be scared. I've occasionally opened a uh,
• 50:43
I've occasionally opened a heart just fucked up, just fucked up.
• 50:47
It's very not me. She's more real to me in
• 50:50
that state. What I don't know.
• 50:53
Speaker 3: That last line is what hold on? Hold on? Okay,
• 50:56
So for one, those images are terrifying that just now,
• 50:59
after he cut it off to like not talk to
• 51:01
it anymore, it's showing up outside of his house, like
• 51:04
you can imagine, like the gray, ghostly emaciated figure of
• 51:07
his dead girlfriend right outside his door. This is like,
• 51:10
this is classic like creepy pasta, right, this is like
• 51:14
old school campfire. The hooked man was waiting at the door,
• 51:18
you know, like, yeah, oh gee kind of thing. I'm
• 51:21
here for it. I like it.
• 51:23
Speaker 2: It is fun and it completely I hate is. I
• 51:27
was like, what if it's a nice spirit?
• 51:30
Speaker 1: You know, you know what I mean?
• 51:31
Speaker 2: Right, I'm kind of mad.
• 51:33
Speaker 3: Now that's your fault. I'm like, that's your fault.
• 51:36
Speaker 2: Emily, you you god, you deceptive woman. It feels like
• 51:42
it's like who even knows if it's even her? Like
• 51:44
I like, now I don't even know. I was so
• 51:46
sure too that it was Emily, but now it's like
• 51:48
if it is, then it's like, well, why why is
• 51:50
she punishing him or why is she cuming after him
• 51:52
like this? Because also it's so cryptied and creepy and
• 51:55
even now okay, so let me ask you this now,
• 51:58
with these pictures of the photo, are you even are
• 52:00
you even thinking this is a ghost anymore? Or do
• 52:02
you think this is like a stalker.
• 52:05
  Speaker 3: It could be a ghost. I don't think it's a stalker.
• 52:08
I would I would say maybe the stories leaning more
• 52:11
towards like she's like a ghoul, you know, like a
• 52:14
monstrous zombie almost thing, not zombie, like shut up, not
• 52:19
zombie and like the the roaming dead sense. I mean
• 52:23
like she's like it's like the maciated skeleton or something
• 52:26
like that, Like there's some horrific figure standing just outside
• 52:29
  the door.
• 52:31
  Speaker 2: Hm hmm. I don't know. I don't know how I
• 52:35
  like that.
• 52:36
Speaker 3: You don't like zombies. You don't like weird zombie girlfriends.
• 52:40
If your wife died, you wouldn't like it if she
• 52:43
was a zombie. I think that'd be pretty cool.
• 52:45
Speaker 2: I mean, I would love to have a wife zombie.
• 52:47
Don't get me wrong, I'm I'm just saying that what
• 52:52
feels weird is like it just doesn't feel like he
• 52:55
deserves this kind of like it would be different if
• 52:58
the if the story preps you and it's like, oh,
• 53:01
you know, she always was abusive to it, like like
• 53:05
anything that made it seem like she would come get him.
• 53:07
But at this point, it's like, well, why is she?
• 53:09
Why is she hunting him down? Right? If anything, shouldn't
• 53:12
this be like, Oh, I'm like if this post was
• 53:15
like I accidentally was drunk driving, you know, a couple
• 53:19
of years ago and I hit somebody and I've had
• 53:22
to live with this shame forever, and now it's like
• 53:24
the person is coming back to get them for taking
• 53:25
their life. Right, But it's like it just feels like
• 53:28
it's like, Okay, well, why the fuck are you messing
• 53:29
with this guy? Then? To me, it feels even weirder
• 53:31
if a person's like this person, if it's like a
• 53:35
stalker thing or not even like just just a regular
• 53:38
human being. Right, But then they got access to your
• 53:41
dead girlfriend's account, and they've been fucking with you this
• 53:43
whole time, and now they're they're like reaching even further
• 53:46
now and now they're taking pictures of you they know
• 53:48
where you live. Also, they would have to have some
• 53:50
kind of communication with Susan, I would imagine to get
• 53:53
this information. So it's like, where the fuck is Susan
• 53:55
during all this? Where is Susan? How do we know
• 53:59
it's not Susan? Sure she says it's not me.
• 54:02
Speaker 3: How do we know that's possible?
• 54:04
Speaker 2: What if it's Susan? What if? Hey? What if the
• 54:06
old boy? What so with the old boy? What if
• 54:09
the old bull? Want some of the young calf Right?
• 54:12
I always admired you, you know I have my daughter
• 54:16
never appreciated you. Nathan right, crazy old mom want a
• 54:21
  piece of Nathan.
• 54:22
Speaker 3: That's creepy, I mean yeah, okay, Maybe it is the mom.
• 54:25
Maybe it's her stocking. Maybe she blames Nathan for doing it,
• 54:29
hence the freezing thing and all that. Maybe it is that,
• 54:32
or maybe maybe her essence, her spirit, her existence in
• 54:35
this realm has been taken over by some evil entity.
• 54:38
And maybe it's learning how she spoke, it's learning her
• 54:41
communications with someone she was close to try to find
• 54:45
  a way in.
• 54:46
Speaker 2: But why why do you think him?
• 54:49
Speaker 3: Well? I mean like if okay, so if you if
• 54:51
you died right? Right? And a spirit was to fill
• 54:54
in your spot in reality, who is the closest person
• 54:58
  to you that it would.
• 54:59
Speaker 2: Begin to latch Yeah, I mean my wife?
• 55:02
Speaker 3: Yeah? Sure, right, So I'm saying maybe Nathan was the
• 55:05
closest thing it had to latch onto. Maybe that's why
• 55:07
  it's stalking him.
• 55:09
Speaker 2: Mmmm. So you're saying that it's just using like a
• 55:12
mask or like it's it's using this thing to communicate
• 55:15
with him, but it actually has nothing to do with
• 55:17
  his wife.
• 55:17
Speaker 3: Yes, exactly, that's the theory I have.
• 55:19
Speaker 2: That's fine. I mean I like that, you know, if
• 55:22
she was more affectionate, I don't even mind the idea
• 55:24
of its being of it's her and it's like her
• 55:27
trying to come back to him, but it's just perceived
• 55:29
in a creepy way. But it's just like he made
• 55:31
it very very clear. He makes it clear many times,
• 55:34
which is I want to know the intention of this.
• 55:36
That's like, she is not affectionate at all, and I'm
• 55:38
wondering if they're if he's prepping that up to where
• 55:40
it's like that's why it's so weird too, that this
• 55:43
person would come back and is trying to talk to
• 55:46
him in that way. You know what I mean closing
• 55:48
down that that argument, because you could have something where
• 55:51
it's like the like a creepy thing where it's an
• 55:54
undying love, you know what I mean. Even even that
• 55:57
kind of uh, that kind of on between somebody we're
• 56:01
together forever, you know, that could be kind of creepy.
• 56:06
  I like the idea.
• 56:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that. Maybe after death, you know, her
• 56:10
spirit or what's left of it, like the rotted remains
• 56:13
of her spirit, is still drawn to him.
• 56:17
Speaker 2: So are we under the impression too that this ghoul,
• 56:19
that this this entity has like a polaroid camera and
• 56:23
  I just took a picture.
• 56:24
Speaker 3: Well, you know what if you want to that hard No, no, no, no,
• 56:28
  I'm not nitpicking.
• 56:29
Speaker 2: I'm just asking questions. Like I'm not. I have learned
• 56:34
my lessons from the Russian sleep experiment. I am not nitpicking.
• 56:38
I am just posing a question, and I am thinking
• 56:41
visually of like an iPhone four s floating around and
• 56:45
taking a picture. Is that the case I need to know?
• 56:48
Speaker 3: It could? Or maybe it's eyes or cameras Hunter, have
• 56:50
you ever considered that maybe it's one of the camera.
• 56:53
Speaker 2: An apple ghoul an apple for sure, that the eye
• 57:00
ghouls as it were, you know, what I don't. I
• 57:03
don't hate any of the theories that you're saying. I'm
• 57:06
just saying in terms of like trying to find it's
• 57:08
kind of like it's it's the shitty argument, and it's
• 57:10
a shitty thing you have to think about in like
• 57:12
even found footage films, which is like why are they
• 57:14
still recording right right? So with this, it's like if
• 57:18
there's a picture, what the hell are we what are
• 57:20
we doing here? So, yeah, I love it. It's a fun visual.
• 57:24
It's creepy as shit whenever I'm sitting there. But the
• 57:26
more that I reflect on it, the more I'm like.
• 57:28
Speaker 3: Well, we'll treat it this way. Treat it this way.
• 57:30
The story ended at the freezing line, right at the
• 57:33
last message that she sends them, and then he adds
• 57:36
the picture part later, So that's like DLC, that's like
• 57:40
  extra lore.
• 57:41
Speaker 2: You don't, yeah, like if we never looked into it,
• 57:43
because I kind of I mean, here's the thing. Let
• 57:45
me ask you this. Do you like the ending being
• 57:48
where we first had it or do you like it
• 57:50
  more with the picture?
• 57:51
Speaker 3: Admittedly I like it more where we first had it.
• 57:54
Admittedly I think it works as a better jump scare.
• 57:58
To show a picture of his house, so to speak.
• 58:00
But I think the more impactful ending is her just
• 58:03
saying the words freezing, because then the audience is left
• 58:05
to imagine maybe it's her soul, maybe it's her body
• 58:08
dead in the ground, or maybe it's her spirit out
• 58:11
in the cold, or maybe you know, something to that effect.
• 58:13
Maybe that's what the freezing line means. It's more ambiguous,
• 58:16
so therefore it lets you fill in more scary parts.
• 58:18
It's showing up outside of his house is much more mainstream, straightforward.
• 58:23
I don't think it's as interesting per se. But the
• 58:25
original story ends with Emily's ghosts saying freezing.
• 58:29
Speaker 2: The idea too of, like I mean, I was having
• 58:31
fun theorizing what kind of contact this is, you know,
• 58:35
because it never does answer you if it's the hacker
• 58:39
or if it is Emily, And then the idea too
• 58:41
of it's like trying, like I was having fun formulating
• 58:44
ideas with you about like is it somebody reaching out?
• 58:46
Like even you saying like sometimes people say that, like
• 58:49
you know, ghosts are touching their like their consciousness resets
• 58:54
and they have to go and they're like touching and
• 58:56
trying to like like find out basically who they are. Again,
• 59:00
that's all good and fun, and I you know, the
• 59:02
visual of this is super creepy, but it leaves me
• 59:05
with more questions where I'm like, what, you know, it's
• 59:08
a it's a great hunting image, but I almost like
• 59:12
it before the picture. I almost like this more before
• 59:15
the picture because I feel like, also, we get so many,
• 59:20
so many like fun text logs and clicking and stuff
• 59:23
like that. It almost makes you wish that if you
• 59:25
were going to introduce to the picture thing, maybe introduce, like,
• 59:28
you know, I think something, not that I think something's
• 59:31
looking at me, but do you think that there should
• 59:32
have been like some kind of picture before that instead
• 59:36
of screenshots, you know what I mean? Maybe some little thing. Yeah,
• 59:39
I think somebody's looking at me or something. Right, I continue.
• 59:43
If this was a longer story, then I think there's
• 59:47
a lot more you could do to flesh it out.
• 59:49
Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, I think so. Uh so I also have
• 59:53
something interesting so that post that we didn't understand what
• 59:57
it means. Yeah, the one that's like I should be scared.
• 1:00:00
I've occasionally opened a heart that whole thing. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:00:03
it turns out someone went through someone named Holly. Yo,
• 1:00:07
what up, thank you. Holly went through all of his
• 1:00:10
replies on that post and that the phrases he says
• 1:00:14
there is a conglomeration of everything he said in the
• 1:00:18
previous messages in other replies. Oh so that last message
• 1:00:23
that doesn't make sense where he's like, it's very not me.
• 1:00:25
She's more real to me in that state. That is
• 1:00:28
a word salad of things he said. So it's implying
• 1:00:31
that whatever spirit got her has now gotten.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 2: Him, not gotten him. That's fun.
• 1:00:36
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's a cute. That's a cute little yeah.
• 1:00:39
Speaker 2: I like that, especially the idea of like the first
• 1:00:42
two things are so cohesive that it kind of seems
• 1:00:44
  like a gottam mid typing.
• 1:00:46
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you.
• 1:00:47
Speaker 2: Know what I mean, Like it got him while he
• 1:00:49
was like, yeah, I'm in my garage blah blah blah,
• 1:00:51
and then as he was doing that, boom, Yeah, yeah
• 1:00:55
  got him.
• 1:00:55
  Speaker 3: That's pretty good. That's that's a fun ending that he
• 1:00:57
sends a bunch of replies to his original post, and
• 1:01:01
then one final message is like a conglomeration of that,
• 1:01:05
implying that he was taken by the same spirit as well.
• 1:01:08
  That's pretty good.
• 1:01:10
Speaker 2: I almost kind of wish here too. If I had
• 1:01:12
to say it, wish that that the last links instead
• 1:01:14
of being the picture. If it was something where it
• 1:01:16
was like a like something where he clicked it, and
• 1:01:18
even when he uploaded it was initially meant to be
• 1:01:20
like this file has been deleted or like it was
• 1:01:22
scrambled or something to where it's like You're like, what
• 1:01:25
what was that thing that he posted before? You know
• 1:01:27
what's missing from this thing? Yep, But I do think
• 1:01:30
that it is some kind of entity or something. I mean,
• 1:01:32
I'm already forgetting that at the beginning of this. There's
• 1:01:35
really the only the only actual complaint I have with
• 1:01:38
this whole thing is just the first image with like
• 1:01:42
the the tag box thing and then like the jpeg.
• 1:01:45
Speaker 3: So someone did this. Hold on, let me copy paste
• 1:01:47
it for you. I was throwing through his replies on
• 1:01:49
it to see what he said. I copy pasted the
• 1:01:51
same thing twice. I'm stupid. Okay, hold on this right here.
• 1:01:57
Someone was in the replies. They brightened the image and
• 1:02:01
said that it looks like a girl's outfit. So the
• 1:02:06
thing the like lined around the waist has a heart
• 1:02:08
in the middle of it, so it kind of looks
• 1:02:10
like a belt with a heart, and then the two
• 1:02:13
like bright things on top are like they look like shoulders.
• 1:02:17
And there's a portion in one of his replies where
• 1:02:21
he says, I have no idea what that hold on.
• 1:02:24
Let me find his specific message about it.
• 1:02:26
  Speaker 1: Uh.
• 1:02:27
Speaker 3: He left one of the replies he said, ha ha,
• 1:02:30
I thought that this is After someone asked a question saying,
• 1:02:33
what was that thing in the picture, He says, ha ha,
• 1:02:36
I thought that might generate some questions. I'm fairly sure
• 1:02:39
it's the flash reflection of my bathroom vanity. Weird reflection, though,
• 1:02:42
been trying to recreate with no luck. Scratch that the
• 1:02:45
vanity is set back further than that angle doesn't make sense.
• 1:02:48
I didn't notice it until I was uploading it today. Edit.
• 1:02:52
Been trying to recreate since I saw this comment, taking
• 1:02:55
pictures from every angle, same lighting conditions, same phone, no die.
• 1:03:00
To be honest, I was kind of hoping you guys
• 1:03:02
would dismiss it as nothing. I'm not sure if I'm
• 1:03:04
just hyper sensitive at the moment or what, but I'm
• 1:03:06
  starting to get freaked out.
• 1:03:08
Speaker 2: Is this before? So this is the original poster? Counting
• 1:03:11
  this correct?
• 1:03:12
  Speaker 3: Yes? Correct? So?
• 1:03:13
Speaker 2: Is this before or after that last post?
• 1:03:16
  Speaker 1: Uh?
• 1:03:16
Speaker 3: Okay, so this entire account Nate sw is just dedicated
• 1:03:21
to the short story. So he makes the original post,
• 1:03:24
and then he makes all of these replies like within
• 1:03:27
a couple days of each other, with his final reply
• 1:03:30
being the conglomeration one, the one that's like, I should
• 1:03:33
be scared. I've occasionally opened to heart that whole thing.
• 1:03:36
Speaker 2: Oh, good for it. Good okay, cool cool cool?
• 1:03:38
Speaker 3: Yeah so this so this he said that about the
• 1:03:40
thing in the mirror before he gave the final message
• 1:03:44
that implies he died. His second to last message was
• 1:03:47
the one with the pictures that shows.
• 1:03:49
Speaker 2: His own vend Yeah, the update.
• 1:03:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, so he's posts that, and then it's the word
• 1:03:54
solid one. So whatever was outside of his window got
• 1:03:56
  him basically.
• 1:03:58
Speaker 2: I uh, I really I love the idea of this
• 1:04:00
count being dedicated to this one thing and to have
• 1:04:03
the interactive thing, I mean, to be one of the
• 1:04:06
commentaries on this and then to get the person to
• 1:04:08
respond to it. It's such a fun. It's just so's
• 1:04:14
it's such a fun immersive experience. And also good for
• 1:04:18
them for also ending it completely with that last post.
• 1:04:21
Very sick, I mean, like super super fun.
• 1:04:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot of fun. Like I said, this
• 1:04:25
is one of the the internet campfire stories, so to speak.
• 1:04:28
I remember friends setting around talking about it and they
• 1:04:31
make jokes like freezing, like they'd say it in the
• 1:04:33
goat man voice or whatever. Like I remember like being
• 1:04:36
out of sleepover and a group of guys were telling
• 1:04:38
the story, and I'm sure we got most of the
• 1:04:41
details wrong, but I remember my friend going the messages
• 1:04:44
just kept saying freezing, freezing, and I remember like, get
• 1:04:48
everyone getting freaked out over that. It's fun. Like I said,
• 1:04:50
it's like a campfire story. I like it a lot.
• 1:04:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah's it would be fun to be people also
• 1:04:57
in the earlier days of you know, they said this
• 1:05:00
was posted like ten years ago when this first came out,
• 1:05:02
Sending this link to each other and being like did
• 1:05:04
you do did this? You know, like an and and
• 1:05:06
seeing it people interact with it, and the poster interacting
• 1:05:09
with it too. It's such a fun way to utilize
• 1:05:11
the Internet. I also want to say to keep I
• 1:05:13
keep fixating on this, the brightened image of this thing
• 1:05:16
with the heart, you know, with the vanity and stuff.
• 1:05:18
The two things are supposed to be the shoulders. It
• 1:05:20
looks like two hands flipping off the camera. Oh interest,
• 1:05:24
  it's what I say, is what I said. I don't
• 1:05:26
  know if that's essentially well.
• 1:05:27
Speaker 3: Remember he describes her as being very sarcastic, not lovey
• 1:05:30
dovey stuff like that. Maybe this was an image of
• 1:05:33
her at some point that's been burned into the photo
• 1:05:36
  or something like that.
• 1:05:38
Speaker 2: The belt thing that the very the very, the extremely
• 1:05:41
clear heart though is what's confusing though, especially and then
• 1:05:46
the last post he says, I should be scared I
• 1:05:53
have occasionally opened a heart. I should be scared. I've
• 1:05:57
occasionally opened a heart just fucked up. It's very not me.
• 1:06:02
I don't know why that the heart line. Do you
• 1:06:04
think that that seems too serendipitous? I mean, what does
• 1:06:06
  that even?
• 1:06:07
  Speaker 4: So?
• 1:06:07
Speaker 3: What I think that is open to heart? I think
• 1:06:10
once again that's a word slid because again Holly went
• 1:06:12
through all of his replies and found where he said
• 1:06:15
those words. And in response to someone sending that brightened
• 1:06:19
image of what you say as a girl flipping off
• 1:06:21
the camera or whatever, in his reply to that, he says,
• 1:06:24
I don't really own anything with a heart on it,
• 1:06:27
and no one was over that night. That's definitely heart
• 1:06:30
like though, really weird and then, so that's where you
• 1:06:34
get the phrase in there where he says a heart.
• 1:06:36
There's another part where he says she's more real to me.
• 1:06:39
There's a part where he says, it's very not me.
• 1:06:41
So again, I think that last sentence, it's the same
• 1:06:44
entity trying to put something together using his words. Now
• 1:06:47
does he put anything together with those words? I should
• 1:06:51
be scared of occasionally open to heart, it's very not
• 1:06:54
me in that state. I don't know. I don't know
• 1:06:56
if there's anything you can make out of that that's
• 1:06:58
like the entity making sense of what he's saying. But
• 1:07:02
I think that's what it's trying to do there.
• 1:07:05
Speaker 2: It's not me, just fucked up. It's very not me.
• 1:07:08
She's more real to me in that state, just fucked up.
• 1:07:11
That's not me in that state. Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:07:15
It's interesting that I like that the way it ends
• 1:07:18
there though, I think that's that's nice. I mean, like,
• 1:07:20
you know, I said my things about the picture or whatever,
• 1:07:23
but I think all in all, for being such a
• 1:07:24
fun thing and to have an account that's solely dedicated
• 1:07:27
to this that's posting on the r slash and no sleep,
• 1:07:30
I mean, I mean, how fun is that I mean
• 1:07:32
really like in terms of creepypasta, in terms of like
• 1:07:34
spooky stories online. This is just like, this is super fun.
• 1:07:38
I hope that there's more of this, Like I said,
• 1:07:39
I haven't I have. I'm not even gonna say that
• 1:07:42
I'm like super well versed in creepypasta stuff, but I
• 1:07:45
hope there's more of this kind of stuff, you know,
• 1:07:47
people creating their own evidence, people being able to like
• 1:07:52
use the idea of an of an anonymous poster online
• 1:07:55
to make it actually feel believable, you know, and have
• 1:07:58
it be just a fun little goose chase. I love that.
• 1:08:01
  I like it a lot.
• 1:08:02
Speaker 3: It's fun. I like it. I also like and.
• 1:08:04
Speaker 2: Also a nice palate cleanser to last week. And can
• 1:08:07
I say that it sure is.
• 1:08:09
Speaker 3: It's this whole like my girlfriend's dead and freezing to
• 1:08:11
death in a car because she died in a drunk
• 1:08:13
driving accident. Way better than last week.
• 1:08:16
Speaker 2: It's like a piece of ginger at a sushi bar.
• 1:08:19
Speaker 3: It's just it's it just clears your ride out, makes
• 1:08:22
you feel better. I quit being sick now that you
• 1:08:25
all have. I've paid my penance. I'm done. Yeah, Okay,
• 1:08:28
I get it. I get it. You're mad because I
• 1:08:29
made you read about human farming. All right, understandably so,
• 1:08:34
but I gave you this story this week. This was
• 1:08:37
my pick, Thank you very much. I gave you this
• 1:08:39
story that was about a woman dying in a drunk
• 1:08:42
driving accident. So I think we're all square now.
• 1:08:45
Speaker 2: All well, okay, with a very.
• 1:08:47
Speaker 3: Cheery story like that, I think we're on the same page.
• 1:08:51
Speaker 2: I do want to say the aspect that you did.
• 1:08:54
You suggested Baraska and stuff, and then I checked Red
• 1:08:57
Thread and then you guys did Epstein list. I was like,
• 1:09:01
holy ship, people are gonna be in a for a
• 1:09:04
  fucking yeah.
• 1:09:05
Speaker 3: I did have that thought that we were talking about Epstein.
• 1:09:10
Speaker 2: It's surreal twenty four hours.
• 1:09:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, you poor dogs, you poor people going.
• 1:09:17
Speaker 2: Going from Creek Crass Barrosca Part two to Epstein's list
• 1:09:20
on Red Thread. It was a surreal experience. I I
• 1:09:23
saw many of those comments. I was like, there's these poor,
• 1:09:25
  these poor poor Yeah.
• 1:09:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, but what are you gonna do? Not watch? That's
• 1:09:29
what I thought, exactly. Geeks, nerds, Yeah, we're watching. That's
• 1:09:37
what I thought. So you're gonna stay here, You're gonna
• 1:09:40
listen to these stories of women die dying in car
• 1:09:43
accidents and you're gonna like it, all right, because that's
• 1:09:45
  that's how.
• 1:09:45
Speaker 2: They not there. There won't be a lot of human trafficking.
• 1:09:48
One I can promise you that it's.
• 1:09:50
  Speaker 3: A few episodes.
• 1:09:52
Speaker 2: For a few well, wait, we'll give it one more
• 1:09:54
episode and then we'll dive back into that.
• 1:09:56
Speaker 3: Yeah, because I've got I've got them lined up. You
• 1:09:58
thought Rosco was bad, I got I got like meat
• 1:10:00
  farm stuff ready to go.
• 1:10:02
Speaker 2: I got hunting, hunting message. When he sent me the
• 1:10:05
list of stories that we're reading and I was like,
• 1:10:08
I was like, really, do we have to read these?
• 1:10:10
  And he said yes.
• 1:10:11
Speaker 3: I'm like, shut up, shut up, hunter. You're gonna like it.
• 1:10:14
You're gonna eat your and you're gonna get.
• 1:10:16
Speaker 2: A cough directly in my face, right my face.
• 1:10:20
Speaker 3: Just like that, Just like that, That's what I did.
• 1:10:23
And I said, we're reading. You're gonna get on the
• 1:10:25
call and we're gonna read about the drunk driving and
• 1:10:29

• 1:10:32
And here we are and you all are gonna watch
• 1:10:34
these videos and you're gonna like it.
• 1:10:35

• 1:10:39
This is a This is one of our quicker quicker ones.
• 1:10:41

• 1:10:43
fun to do a nice quick palate cunter for you all,
• 1:10:47
so we hope you enjoyed this one. Also, we have
• 1:10:50
we've been taking your suggestions below, so we do have

• 1:10:55
to read moving forward. So if you can be sure
• 1:10:57
to comment stories that you think that we'd like, your
• 1:10:59
stories you think are kind of funny or whatever, and
• 1:11:01
we'll be sure to put them on the list.
• 1:11:03
Speaker 3: And then I'm gonna read through them and pick the
• 1:11:05
ones that are the most terrible, and we'll emotionally and
• 1:11:07
mentally damage to most people possible. So I oh no, no,
• 1:11:12
  that's the only factory.
• 1:11:15
Speaker 2: Now. We're just trying to find stories that are supposed
• 1:11:18
to emotionally mentally to scar you. This is not a
• 1:11:22
fun podcast anymore. This is this is gonna be something
• 1:11:25
where we get the trauma dump. Trauma Dump podcast is
• 1:11:28
what's gonna be called now, And I'm sorry, that's just
• 1:11:31
  the way it is.
• 1:11:32
Speaker 3: It's it's this new thing I'm cooking up called PTSD.
• 1:11:35
It stands for Podcasts Trauma something disorder.
• 1:11:40
Speaker 2: I love that. I like that. I love that the
• 1:11:42
  s is something yep yep.
• 1:11:44
Speaker 3: Well you know what, maybe when I'm off cold medicine, Hunter,
• 1:11:46
I'll think of a better one.
• 1:11:47
Speaker 2: Right now, the creativity on this podcast flows like wine.
• 1:11:52
Speaker 3: What are we going to make this podcast about creepy
• 1:11:54
  things called? Oh?
• 1:11:55
Speaker 2: I know, perfect dude, easy brand you know what, that's
• 1:12:01
  good branding, dude, good.
• 1:12:03
Speaker 3: But you know what, and you know what, it's working.
• 1:12:05
They're here, they're listening to me. So that's that's their fault,
• 1:12:09
if you think about it. They should they should if
• 1:12:10
they want better from us, and they should act like it.
• 1:12:12
But until then, you're getting Creek casts and you're getting
• 1:12:15
  women dying in car accidents.
• 1:12:16
Speaker 2: So, and you know what, we appreciate y'all showing up
• 1:12:19
and being so supportive. The fan base has been fucking amazing,
• 1:12:21
So just wanted to say that again. We really appreciate
• 1:12:24
you showing up, and uh, until you know, next time,
• 1:12:27
Isaiah will be much much healthier.
• 1:12:29
Speaker 3: We can promise you that unless I pick another bad
• 1:12:31
story in which God is going to keep punishing me,
• 1:12:34
  it will.
• 1:12:35
Speaker 2: Be an angelic punishment every time, and I'm here for it.
• 1:12:38
You know I'm glad if I'm.
• 1:12:41
Speaker 3: One week, that means it's going to be a good episodes.
• 1:12:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, you know it's gonna be an easy episode
• 1:12:47
if he's sick, so well until next time. We appreciate
• 1:12:51
y'all for stopping by. And stay creepy. Is that a
• 1:12:54
  good tagling we make that?
• 1:12:55
Speaker 3: Well? I mean, like creepy has a lot of meanings.
• 1:12:58
That could mean like be like a stalker or something
• 1:13:00
  like that.
• 1:13:00
Speaker 2: Stay creepy in any way that you feel fit.
• 1:13:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you're right. We should lean into it more.
• 1:13:05
If that's creepy on your coworkers, if that's creepy on
• 1:13:09
you know, various like passer buys in public, then stay creepy.
• 1:13:13
Speaker 2: There's really there's really no way to have like a
• 1:13:15
fun cute way. It's like stay spooky. It's like, what
• 1:13:18
  the fuck does that mean?
• 1:13:21
Speaker 3: Stay creepy? Stay uh, stay creeped? Does that make sense?
• 1:13:26
Speaker 2: Be sure? Yeah, stay creeped, Stay creeped. That's stay creeped,
• 1:13:31
Stay creep be sure to breathe, drink water, and eat food.
• 1:13:34
Speaker 3: That's gonna be both of those. Both of those two
• 1:13:38
are less likely to bring us into a lawsuit. So
• 1:13:40
  I like Stay.
• 1:13:40
Speaker 2: Creeped, Yeah, stay creeped, all right, stay creeped everyone.
• 1:13:44
Speaker 3: Bye bye, bye bye, Thank you for coming here, bye,
• 1:13:51

  Thanks guys,
