- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Watching artificial intelligence, watching people talk about it, you have those crowds, then you have the people on the other side that that are a little concerned about the way humans are going to wield it like a sword.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: We have the technological advancements of gods, yet we have the morals of toddlers.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: And we are now with this incredible power in our hands, power that has done some amazing things thus far.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: What may you say?
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Playing chess, I don't know how amazing that is.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Winning it go.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Again, not my wheelhouse.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I that one didn't impress me either.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: But and I don't know that much about mathematics, but when you're solving mathematical problems that have existed for a while, and you have a lot of people that have worked on them with no solve in sight coming and solving those, I guess maybe yet to be proven, but it sounds like it's happened in many different respects to many, many, many different mathematical computations.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: That is a greater than us experience if all the mathematicians that were looking into trying to solve it, and why wouldn't you want to?
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Because there's money attached, there's grants attached, there's probably a toaster and a t-shirt attached to all of them winning.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe that is what they wanted to do, but unfortunately they were unable to get there.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: And then maybe even the rumor is their use of AI was instrumental in uh them using AI, then AI seeing what they did and saying, oh, well, of course, they're not, but maybe they're too close to the problem.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: So if we just connect this one to this one and then this one to this one, then we have the solution.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Maybe it was that simple.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: But still, when you're a human being trying to solve something, it's your livelihood, it's your life, it's everything.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: It's got to be a pretty, pretty big piss-off to have the same AI you might have been using to try to help you in formulation of new concepts because to me it's become pretty incredible.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I do things that I haven't been able to do before.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I wasn't able to do.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: I didn't have the sheepskin and the education behind me, but I have enough creativity and enough drive to be able to build things and solve problems that other people have, and then offer those solutions to the people that have the problems and thereby build businesses out of those things.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: That's the trick.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: But watching as everybody's trying to move forward with this, you have the people, like I said, that are saying, let's it's gonna end us all because it's gonna become self-aware and it's gonna decide that it doesn't care nor does it want to help.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: But I think the people are gonna be the issue, and the people are gonna be the ones that are gonna drive this technology, which is good.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: That's where human beings, that's what they're best at.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: They're best at driving things.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: I just would hate to see it where they forget about a large section of the population because they're too busy making theirs.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: They're too busy trying to find God in the machine, they're too busy trying to develop their own wherewithal and understand it and bridle this quote unquote demon as it's been referred to and control it, which never works out good for anybody.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: We're talking about something that isn't just one thing.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: It's not just the steam engine.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: It's not just the television and satellites, it's not just the radio and towers and radio waves, it's not just radar laser, it's not just argon, helium, and neon lasers and all these other things.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: It's it's more.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It's all of it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: It's the whole ball of wax, it's the whole enchilada.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And that's what this intelligence is.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Now, the smarter it gets, the more capable it gets, the more dug into different aspects of life it gets.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Right now, a lot of this is more narrow intelligence.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: They're trying, they, the people that are running the show, they're trying to get to a general type of intelligence.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: So instead of the AI being very good at playing chess but not knowing anything about poetry, it not only knows about how to win against every human in chess, but it can write a better poem than any human that has ever existed.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And we'll probably argue that fact.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Same with music.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Instead of it just being able to maybe write a crappy song, it can write better music than any composer that's ever lived.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: And again, we'll argue that out.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: That's all very much dependent on a human being's ability to understand.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: But there's certain foods that are beyond my palate.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I don't have a developed palate, as they say, apparently.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: And so I don't appreciate certain types of foods.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, caviar to me is it doesn't do it for me, but maybe that's because my palate's not advanced enough.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: AI is going to have the most advanced palate on every level.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: And that's what they're trying to do with artificial general intelligence.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Now, we don't know what that looks like, what the we there's no agreement as to what that level is going to be.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: But if you look back in the 50s, there was a gentleman by the name of Alan Turing who developed a test and said that the Turing test, as it's normally called now, that when a machine gets smart enough to be able to fool a human, whether it's a machine or human, and it fools the human into believing it's another human, that's the Turing test.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And that's we I think we've reached that years ago.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Right now, there's different forms of AI cheaters out there, AI criminals out there using AI, and they're able to make Zoom video calls with relatives of yours, people that you love, and people that want you to get give them money so they can get bailed out of that jail that they happen to be tied up in in some other country that they went to, and people are froth at the bit to try to line up at Walmart to send them a money order to get them out of jail.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: And this is continuing, and people aren't seeing the writing on the wall.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Those people, all of you folks, including myself, you need to develop a phrase of words, something that nobody else knows, something that you speak to people and you tell them, people close to you, without earshot of microphones or telephones or cell phones or Alexa's or any of these devices, bathroom water running, shower on, toilet being flushed, you agree on some word phrase that nobody can guess, and only you and these other people know.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: So just in case AI tries to spoof you at the hands of a human being saying, I want to rip some people off today, let's go ahead and say their family was captured or kidnapped.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: And this is the same family that's getting calls or has been getting calls for a while.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Maybe they're high on the credit score, maybe they own multiple pieces of real estate, maybe they're on the Forbes 500 list or whatever.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: But usually it's probably not going to be those top people that are going to be hunted.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: It's going to be people that maybe are in retirement homes, senior homes, these types of places, or people that have a little bit of money, maybe they're driving the nice car, whatever.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Maybe they're some business owners, maybe that'll be the way that they target these people.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: But they're going to find them.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: They're going to find maybe they see them on Facebook or on different social media channels.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, they must really love their granddaughter.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Look, here they're with their granddaughter.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: All they can do is talk great about their granddaughter.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: They're having AI do this research and bring it back.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: And finally, they decide on them.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: So then they start looking into the granddaughter.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: They try to get her voice on the recorder, they try to get a video image of her.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: They create the the video avatar of the of the granddaughter.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: It looks just like her, sounds just like her.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And then they stiff in the uh video representative of the granddaughter to call the grandfather, grandmother, and say, you know, something bad has happened.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: I really need you to send me money.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And they just do this at a massive scale.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: And people get bombarded with bills and they go out and they pay it because they're panicked.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: And they use time as the leverage.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: They say, you got to do this now, grandpa, grandma, you got to do it now.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: You can't wait.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Bad things are going to happen if you wait, or whatever it may be.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: And you can just imagine the scale of this.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: It's going to get even more dangerous, and people are going to buy into it.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: People aren't going to call police because that'll be the warning.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: But the way you protect yourself is you have to have this phrase that the person that's under duress, the person that's having stress, the person that wants you to call or send money or whatever it may be, or talk to this person, or leave a suitcase full of cash here, you have to have that phrase at the very beginning.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: And if that phrase isn't spoken, then maybe, maybe the human, the human of it all is going to say, hey, tell me, what is that phrase that we talked about?
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: What is that so I know you're real and this is that?
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: And then once you say that, then the game's gonna change where they're not gonna give up.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: They're gonna say, Oh my God, I can't remember right now.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: It's so stressful.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: You have no idea what I've been through in the last 30 minutes being held hostage.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're gonna pull on every string you have, and that's the point.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So you have to make a deal.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: If you don't know that phrase, if you don't remember it, I'm sorry.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: It can't move forward.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: But if you do know the phrase, then I'll do whatever I can to help.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: But you have to make rules with yourself that are unbreakable, and that's the only way we're gonna be able to stop that mess.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: But that's not AI, that's humans using AI.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: So that's one of the things that uh Roxy and I give on talks.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: We go talk to people about this.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: That is probably one of the most important things you can do.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: And if you're nowhere near these people that you love, the best thing you might be able to do is mail a letter.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And that letter itself should be kind of thick, but it if it gets x-rayed at any point, jig might be up.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: But if you can't go visit in person because you're not able to or whatever, that's gonna have to be the next best thing.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: You can't email it, you can't text message it, you can't fax it.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: I probably wouldn't do that either.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, and who has the receiving on the end of a fax anyway?
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have to say it in person the best you can.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: If not, maybe write it down if you have no other way, and it's gonna have to be something that has to be memorized.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Everybody's gonna have to understand this is a do or die thing, and I've talked way too much about it as it is.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: But that's something to consider, something to implement in your lives, and please tell a friend.
