Reds' Top Prospects Shine in DSL | Cincinnati Reds News
Three Reds prospects are headed to the DSL All-Star Game—outfielders Eider Gutierrez and Angel Nuez, plus pitcher Ysaias Escalona—showing just how fast these young talents are rising. Nuez, 17, is hitting .350 with a grand slam in his debut and a 11-for-12 start. Gutierrez, also 17, is crushing it with 4 homers, 14 steals, and a promotion mid-season. Escalona, rebounding from a rough rookie year, is now a 5-0 pitcher with a sparkling 0.70 ERA. All under 20, they’re on track to play in U.S. affiliates next year—proof that the Reds’ future is bright. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli…
