- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:29coop today I have a question for you.
- 0:32What do you think is causing all the screw ups that show up in
- 0:38your life? Most of all, So just take a
- 0:42moment and say, OK, what what's showing up?
- 0:45Like, you know, all these things that happen.
- 0:47What is it That's a common denominator in all these things.
- 0:52And the common denominator is your contradictory thoughts.
- 0:57What do I mean by that? Contradictory thoughts are when
- 1:01we say we want something or we are focused on having something,
- 1:05but then we start worrying about it and we don't have a clear
- 1:08path of intent. So I'll give you a good example,
- 1:14and I know this is a controversial subject to come up
- 1:17with this, but I do believe that our thoughts dictate and present
- 1:20our external world. So take that into this and
- 1:25understand it. Everything that you think and
- 1:28you focus on and you believe creates your external world and
- 1:31our challenge is always when we are not consistent with our own
- 1:35thoughts. That's what screws it up.
- 1:38So I'm going to use it a simple example that just happened
- 1:41because I've talked about the fact that I've lost a couple of
- 1:44hens now. Have I just been completely
- 1:47focused every single day that they are safe?
- 1:50When I went back and started debriefing myself and saying
- 1:53really, because I was so upset about what happened to them, I
- 1:56sat there and I said to myself, well, have I been intending
- 1:59every day that they're safe? Have I been in a place of
- 2:02gratitude every day saying I'm so grateful, they're safe and
- 2:05healthy? No, it was a real eye opener to
- 2:08me that I hadn't been doing that every day.
- 2:10And then I had this epiphany about the fact that, well,
- 2:14here's something even more important.
- 2:16Had I been going in every single night and counting them and I
- 2:21say to them, oh, great job today.
- 2:23And I realized making sure nobody died so I would do my
- 2:26head count every night and be like, oh, but there was a
- 2:29thought in the back of my head, huh, It's been quite a while
- 2:33since we've lost a hen. And that had been showing up
- 2:36probably for the last month where I would have these pretty
- 2:40consistent thoughts about, wow, it's been a while, it's nice,
- 2:44it's been a while. We haven't lost anybody.
- 2:46Nothing's happened, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:47And then all of a sudden it happens.
- 2:50Now, one could say that I opened the door for that and I
- 2:54manifested that some people would argue, no way, I'm not.
- 2:59I I don't know what I, you know, don't know.
- 3:01I always say that you don't know what you don't know.
- 3:03So I am a believer that your thoughts and your focus manifest
- 3:07your outside world. So on some level did I manifest
- 3:11this? Well the answer is I didn't
- 3:13manifest the opposite so I allowed this to come in.
- 3:17So now as I recognise my behaviour in this and I have to
- 3:22make a choice about how I want to move forward with it, you
- 3:27better believe that every day I'm having an intention for this
- 3:30along with my other intentions that I'm very good at.
- 3:34I have to focus on this as well and change my language patterns.
- 3:39I wanted to share this with you because I think a lot of us have
- 3:42these dysfunctional language patterns or these back thoughts
- 3:46that are consistent, but we don't pay attention to what they
- 3:49actually mean. And then something shows up and
- 3:52we think it's rather random. You know, Esther Hicks is great
- 3:56for saying that the randomness is not so random, because when
- 4:01you don't intend and you don't put your path in an A forward
- 4:06motion of intending what it is that you you want and seeing it
- 4:10as if it's done, you then enter into the world of the bumbles
- 4:14where everyone's just bumbling and you're banging into other
- 4:16bumblers. That's how things happen.
- 4:18So that doesn't mean that you're not actually participating in
- 4:23it. You know, making a decision to
- 4:25not make a decision is still a decision.
- 4:27So when someone says I'm not going to decide, you've actually
- 4:29made a decision, you're not going to decide.
- 4:32But we don't like to think that way about ourselves.
- 4:34So this is really a a fundamental piece of how I want
- 4:40you guys to start considering yourself.
- 4:42Our contradictory thoughts. The things that are going on
- 4:45behind the scenes are the problem when we don't have clear
- 4:50intentions. It's OK to have a random
- 4:52thoughts, but the consistent contradicting thoughts are the
- 4:56ones that cause all the problems.
- 4:58So you have to learn to observe them, control them, put them in
- 5:01their place, and appreciate the fact that it's so critically
- 5:07important, so critically important to to understand what
- 5:13your intention and direction of energy is.
- 5:16And that's why we're revisiting this today.
- 5:19So when you want to know what screws things up, most of all
- 5:24it's our contradicting thoughts and I hope that you recognize
- 5:27yours. And I hope that you pull them
- 5:29aside and you have a little talk with them about not showing up
- 5:32and redirect them and focus on the good stuff.
- 5:34All right, my friends, I hope you have a fantastic day and I
- 5:38will see you all tomorrow. Bye.
