- 0:05Speaker 1: Approache production.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Good, I there you go, say good here you're going?
- 0:26Speaker 1: What you know? I don't know the words? Light who
- 0:31Speaker 1: you like? And she'll be right? You get? I Hey,
- 0:36Speaker 1: you get?
- 0:37Speaker 2: What?
- 0:37Speaker 1: Are you not much? No?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Neither has your dog not well kicked it in the
- 0:42Speaker 2: gats No.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Longer seems appropriate. It's going to stop there. Actually okay?
- 0:49Speaker 1: R s P says no, say no to that.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Shared thanks to seven eleven. Look,
- 0:55Speaker 3: let's start with with the joy. The Broncos taken down
- 1:02Speaker 3: first time. I mean, we broke the losing streak against
- 1:08Speaker 3: the Storm for ten years in Melbourne.
- 1:10Speaker 1: But at the start of the season. Yeah, so ten
- 1:13Speaker 1: years since one in Melbourne. Do you remember that? Did you? Yeah?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Did you see you scooted from dumby half the school? Yeah?
- 1:20Speaker 2: Did you see the dumble? I didn't score, though I floated.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I was over the line.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I played the board, didn't I you dumb it?
- 1:28Speaker 2: And then passed away through the dummy because I knew
- 1:30Speaker 2: Will Chambers was going to chase hard. Cooper Crunk was
- 1:33Speaker 2: second mark and went down.
- 1:35Speaker 1: If fload inside the tom I check. I remember that game.
- 1:39Speaker 1: That game was torture. We did six repeat dropouts.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Six in a row, wasn't it something ridiculous? Yeah, And
- 1:48Speaker 4: we just kept defending and every time, like because their
- 1:51Speaker 4: kicks were just that good back then, they still be
- 1:53Speaker 4: good now.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Back then they were just kicks, you know.
- 1:57Speaker 4: So it was like me verse three other Storm guys
- 2:01Speaker 4: because back then.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You won't let to protect the jumper. Yeah, you couldn't.
- 2:04Speaker 4: You could do think you were anytime someone escorted pally
- 2:07Speaker 4: pedaltly dry.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So I was like, just let them go and we're
- 2:10Speaker 1: just knock a dead. Yeah yeah, right, and you did
- 2:13Speaker 1: it because if you can't get a good catch, just volleyball.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and get out the best part more set boys
- 2:20Speaker 4: and all the boys in the middle classes Classic Classic
- 2:23Speaker 4: one more.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Then I'd get us out, get us out, and then
- 2:28Speaker 1: we would yell out lean into him.
- 2:30Speaker 4: But I remember that game that was that was one
- 2:32Speaker 4: of the hardest games reckon I played, Like you know,
- 2:35Speaker 4: Melbourne was always one and Roosters.
- 2:37Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, that game was insane.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But then you know, you flip to the game on
- 2:41Speaker 2: the weekend. The boys, same thing. Yeah, they chased their
- 2:45Speaker 2: tail and that in that second half, like they were
- 2:48Speaker 2: creating some really great opportunities in the first half.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But like just dropping the ball.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like when we were trying to attack and score tries,
- 2:55Speaker 2: so that was kind of okay, but completing at fifty
- 2:59Speaker 2: five percent in the first half, it just can't And
- 3:01Speaker 2: to only be fourney down.
- 3:03Speaker 4: There time, their defense, their scream it was back the
- 3:06Speaker 4: way it was last year and last year like that,
- 3:08Speaker 4: like that.
- 3:09Speaker 1: We should have been twenty eight mil down.
- 3:12Speaker 4: I made a ball they got and how good their
- 3:14Speaker 4: attack is and how close they got the score and
- 3:16Speaker 4: that many times.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, like you only put that down to scramble and
- 3:19Speaker 1: want to win. Good defensive coach, great.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Defense pretty much every game in the game.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm just not going there.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Well, we will gather and we've got to go yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the first three and the whole game as well.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Dropping the ball in the first half has been a
- 3:38Speaker 3: Broncos thing. Yeah, I mean, you know.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Movie nights the night before, too much pop that back.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I just think they were like they know how good
- 3:51Speaker 4: they are, like their attack is insane, but I just
- 3:54Speaker 4: feel like they tried to just you know, start the
- 3:57Speaker 4: way we finished last year, where it's not you can't
- 3:59Speaker 4: do that, like you've got to build back into the season.
- 4:01Speaker 4: And I feel like that second half is just perfect
- 4:05Speaker 4: example complete and just let it happen. And honestly, I
- 4:09Speaker 4: don't think the Melbourne Storm had a chance in that
- 4:11Speaker 4: second half.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought was really really good for us. Corey
- 4:14Speaker 2: Paks in the middle played eighty tackled like really good. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 2: made forty four tackles and like.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Service.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But Brendan p Kura unreal, he got our sets off
- 4:25Speaker 2: too real.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he's got a bill. Yeah, Ezra felt more comfortable
- 4:28Speaker 1: with him. Did you not notice that?
- 4:29Speaker 2: But it was it was like nothing flash, No, it
- 4:32Speaker 2: was he looked way more comfortable with Brendan there, which was.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm surprised, but to be fair, they've been training together
- 4:39Speaker 1: for five years. Yeah, four years. You know.
- 4:41Speaker 3: So we picked up an injury. It didn't look like
- 4:43Speaker 3: he got injured in the game, but he's out there.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Well i'll tip you up on this. He was done
- 4:47Speaker 1: at half time, Yeah, it was. It was.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, So he did the injury in the first half
- 4:53Speaker 2: and they were really unsure on what it was and
- 4:58Speaker 2: ac isn't it Yeah, the physiota times like I'm unsure
- 5:02Speaker 2: if Pain can go back out for the second half,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and Pain for his hand up and said now I'm final,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'll go back out there. He's a tough he's one
- 5:10Speaker 2: tough human being, and he went out there in the
- 5:12Speaker 2: second half and and.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Just pushed through the pain and like was absolutely brilliant.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just it's a disturbed day. I don't know
- 5:21Speaker 4: if they said it's complete there.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's it's a hard one again like Oaks,
- 5:25Speaker 2: you would be out for ten weeks.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I play the next week. But when I did myself,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I did it proper. If you don't remember, yeah you did.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I saw it completely off.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah it's still Yeah, you can bounce off and show everyone.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's not supposed to look like I don't
- 5:42Speaker 1: want to touch it.
- 5:43Speaker 3: What is that?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it? What is that? He is from Morale,
- 5:47Speaker 1: but it could be his second head. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: not supposed to. So yeah, if you're complete, they're reckon.
- 5:55Speaker 4: You bet off, complete, down on because if you disrupt it,
- 5:58Speaker 4: it's just annoying.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yeah, pain, so probably just a week for pain.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We reckon. It's just pain.
- 6:04Speaker 4: It's it's more paint like, it's it's more the pain. Like,
- 6:08Speaker 4: it's the pain, like, yeah, you can deal with it.
- 6:10Speaker 4: You can put pads on it, you can you can
- 6:12Speaker 4: need them a little bit now, not as much as
- 6:14Speaker 4: we used to be led to.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I don't believe we can numb like the whole. Yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I feel I can't. Of the game.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Holy felt like someone had a cricket bat, a bang
- 6:30Speaker 4: on the bag on your shoulder.
- 6:32Speaker 1: The next day, was you wake up in the morning.
- 6:41Speaker 1: They're more serious. It seems like.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I used up on that tipping for the weekends. But
- 6:47Speaker 3: you had a great tipping round.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm still in front the other way.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a small part of me. I'm a bit
- 6:55Speaker 2: disappointed that I didn't get a perfect round. I really
- 6:58Speaker 2: should have backed the Dolphins.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I followed Corey and tip the Titans.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I was only one. Yeah, that's why I was so bad.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you've tipped him everything.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. I still they didn't play as
- 7:12Speaker 1: bad as I used There was a ring. There was
- 7:14Speaker 1: a turning point in that game.
- 7:15Speaker 2: So he was twenty two sixteen Jojo Feeder goes up
- 7:18Speaker 2: to catch the.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Ball and then drops the ball over the line. Yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 1: and then he scools there. They kick the goal with
- 7:23Speaker 1: twenty two wars. I reckon they win.
- 7:25Speaker 2: They later Yeah, Streaming and Slader Cowboys go down now
- 7:28Speaker 2: the end of the field.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And that was a game set match that we're in it.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I know they were in it, and I did for
- 7:35Speaker 3: I tip the Titans, thank you.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I just think I think they're a way better team.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I really do.
- 7:39Speaker 4: And I just want to see him do well, same
- 7:41Speaker 4: as the Tigers. I thought they played it.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Campbell was great. It was good to see cam Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: very good. Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Having him back in Yeah, a huge difference. So we've
- 7:49Speaker 3: got a prize for Sammy being the round winner in
- 7:52Speaker 3: the shed.
- 7:52Speaker 1: In the seven to eleven lockers. Well something else for later?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Oh geez, the what have we got for him? What
- 7:59Speaker 1: do I win?
- 8:01Speaker 4: Well?
- 8:03Speaker 3: J Yeah, because I gave you mine because I was
- 8:07Speaker 3: I was keto, So you got my donut for.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah, stiff to share that? How good? I love jerkes,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but that's what I can. Can I have? Thank you?
- 8:23Speaker 2: You can have jerky and have my balls.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't need balls. I don't need proteins cutting off balls.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, put your put on balls in your mouth protein
- 8:35Speaker 2: balls mate.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm cutting down on balls mate. Enough. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I don't like I can share the jerk with the
- 8:42Speaker 1: loser again sexual foods either. I have a after I
- 8:49Speaker 1: have a after I can I get a perfect round
- 8:51Speaker 1: this week? Trophies, Thank you very much, appreciate that, beautiful
- 9:03Speaker 1: the birds. No, I don't need anything good enough enough
- 9:08Speaker 1: caffeine and me. Thanks Matte, appreciate it. Thanks Matt you
- 9:13Speaker 1: said your more, No I didn't. I'm watching my wife.
- 9:16Speaker 1: What are you're watching that for?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Because no, dos I'm glad to see you got a
- 9:22Speaker 2: different shirt and not out of that shirt for once?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Right now? That's what do you got on? That's not free?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Pay for the shirt for his hat? Underwear? You even
- 9:34Speaker 1: went made for me? Andy? Oh, I got bodies for free,
- 9:37Speaker 1: course for me, singer.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Not like jerky and a coffee.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It's not better than jerking the coffee water going back?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Can you get Can we talk about this blake? What
- 9:49Speaker 1: hekay with it?
- 9:52Speaker 4: That's not lucky, So thank you mate?
- 9:59Speaker 1: See are just spitting it like asked? At least he
- 10:03Speaker 1: brought a coffee, mate, see youngest, I like you. Yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you walked in today with the coffee. Didn't buy well
- 10:12Speaker 1: really good coffee? Arrogant mate?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Are you you're wearing your little mate shirt today?
- 10:17Speaker 1: This is that's is paying. I bought me on clothes.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So what you paid for that shirt? You're telling me
- 10:25Speaker 1: right now, I sweat show me the transaction. I can't
- 10:28Speaker 1: because I don't have a don't I don't have the
- 10:29Speaker 1: pass out of my bank. Oh classic, No, I bought him.
- 10:33Speaker 1: How is he about to make money if if he
- 10:35Speaker 1: gives you that for free all the time?
- 10:37Speaker 3: And so as in ir how come we didn't go.
- 10:40Speaker 4: A r A because he's a weirder okay different.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good shirt. It looks good.
- 10:47Speaker 3: The shorts, today's the shorts as well.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I thought he could have just put all his tats
- 10:50Speaker 4: on shirts because it'd be about eighteen different designs and
- 10:53Speaker 4: then the tattoosy.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Has got Yeah, true, true, just go one leg, one
- 10:57Speaker 1: other leg and then gave your clean skin. Actually, aren't you?
- 11:01Speaker 1: You got no tats. I made a smart choice when
- 11:03Speaker 1: I was young. You what do you got? Yeah, I've
- 11:06Speaker 1: got a couple. What do you got? I've got a
- 11:08Speaker 1: like I've got a tramp stamp as a log? You
- 11:12Speaker 1: got a I got one on my but Logi's got
- 11:15Speaker 1: a big back that yeah, yeah, big wings.
- 11:18Speaker 3: When when his jersey comes up, it just looks like.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it started. I think it started as
- 11:23Speaker 1: a trip yeah, look, I'm gonna say that. Actually that's on.
- 11:30Speaker 3: So Gordon tell us he's been removed from is it
- 11:32Speaker 3: the meeting room? I think he had the Broncos that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: A meeting it's about seven meeting rooms up.
- 11:38Speaker 3: There that was named after him. Of course he was
- 11:41Speaker 3: a Broncos great and uh and now he's been sort
- 11:44Speaker 3: of they're wiping him from the records effectively.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Well, well, still is a Broncos great at the end
- 11:48Speaker 1: of the day.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So anyone that has captain the Broncos is a is
- 11:55Speaker 2: a fantastic.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Player at the end of the day. Was art if
- 11:59Speaker 1: you're if you haven't captains makes sense, Yeah you hung
- 12:04Speaker 1: around for anyway? A classic move on.
- 12:11Speaker 2: But yeah, I know it's just been it's been funny
- 12:13Speaker 2: that it's been headlined news and it's like we cannot
- 12:16Speaker 2: escape any headlines at the moment at the Broncos. But
- 12:19Speaker 2: like it's a it's a three by two meters room,
- 12:22Speaker 2: it's a meeting room.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They use it for different things. I believe you.
- 12:25Speaker 4: You know that they're always going to do it, is
- 12:26Speaker 4: that right? As they always going to give Ali a room.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Like they and I think at the end of the day,
- 12:33Speaker 1: she's probably the one that like.
- 12:36Speaker 2: For her to receive the room in the way that
- 12:39Speaker 2: she's received it, I would be pretty pissed.
- 12:43Speaker 1: No, And I think timing was bad. Timing was terrible.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And I think at the end of the day, like
- 12:51Speaker 2: we have to put people's opinions aside, yeah, and and
- 12:55Speaker 2: focus on if you really want to if you really
- 12:59Speaker 2: want to shut someone up in the and the opinion
- 13:02Speaker 2: that they have on you, perform.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Win That's the easiest way at the end of the day.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And go out and win.
- 13:09Speaker 2: If you go back to back and you win the
- 13:11Speaker 2: Grand Final and people still want to question.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Still going to bag it. They're always going to find
- 13:15Speaker 1: a thing. They're always going to find.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Some like and my belief as I think I've said
- 13:20Speaker 4: it either on here or on radio, I can't remember,
- 13:22Speaker 4: but they do it because we get the most views,
- 13:25Speaker 4: were the most watched sports club in Australia, like organization
- 13:28Speaker 4: like they do it because then they get benefit of
- 13:32Speaker 4: They don't care what the story is.
- 13:33Speaker 2: They do not care how many people tuned in again
- 13:37Speaker 2: to watch General three sixty this week because they want
- 13:39Speaker 2: to know.
- 13:41Speaker 4: And God, he's always had that opinion on the Bronx.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It hasn't been a secret. I think since sixteen fifteen
- 13:47Speaker 4: that I've been like, I remember he bagged them back then,
- 13:51Speaker 4: he bagged them every year since.
- 13:52Speaker 1: That's why that's.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Changed another club like when he left.
- 13:57Speaker 2: It just always has it just always has been that way,
- 14:01Speaker 2: And Gordy gets paid really well to do it, to
- 14:03Speaker 2: have big opinions. Again, you look at you, guys, you
- 14:08Speaker 2: work on the radio. The biggest shock jock of all
- 14:10Speaker 2: time works on your same network, and he gets paid
- 14:14Speaker 2: a hundred times as much as you guys paid.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Well yeah, yeah, yeah, is it.
- 14:19Speaker 1: A hundred times No, well you said he works I don't. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 1: well not at the moment.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He's trying to get back to it again. He gets
- 14:24Speaker 2: paid for having big opinions. And that's and God is
- 14:28Speaker 2: the same. And I think what what the Broncos need
- 14:31Speaker 2: to do as a club is, Hey, let's just let's
- 14:33Speaker 2: focus on what we can about it, and that's that's
- 14:36Speaker 2: on the football.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Field, and let's just put all that aside and head down.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Bum up.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I think you're right though, would have been nice to
- 14:42Speaker 3: have it blank for a little bit and then give
- 14:44Speaker 3: it to Ali just because she deserves. If she deserves it,
- 14:47Speaker 3: then give it to a properly, don't make it.
- 14:49Speaker 4: A Yeah, it seems like it was something that was
- 14:51Speaker 4: done a while ago, and because of the Gordy stuff,
- 14:54Speaker 4: they've tried to.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Delay delay delay, but then well we've got to do it.
- 14:58Speaker 4: So I think that's the way it looks to me,
- 15:01Speaker 4: because I don't think they would do this on purpose.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I don't believe what if you got named the Broncos
- 15:07Speaker 4: probably a locker.
- 15:08Speaker 2: No, I think you've got is yours the third physio
- 15:11Speaker 2: table on the left or no.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I stopped saying on you because they didn't fix me,
- 15:16Speaker 4: but you unfixable.
- 15:17Speaker 1: That's why, that's why he had to retire.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I can't say that I thank you for the physio
- 15:21Speaker 4: is Luki and in definitely and Treder love his both
- 15:24Speaker 4: because I wouldn't have made past four years.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I reckon if it wasn't for them.
- 15:28Speaker 3: To so.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Piss off honestly, honestly, you should have a physio.
- 15:34Speaker 1: No, No, Joe Wilso go over that. What was his
- 15:37Speaker 1: nickname again, he's never gave me. The nickname was funny.
- 15:39Speaker 4: You gave James Wallace that nickname's no, what was it?
- 15:43Speaker 1: Bed cheap? He's a bed chet because he was always
- 15:45Speaker 1: on the table. Yeah, were yours? You had too many nicknames? Though, No,
- 15:52Speaker 1: they just meant, oh, what is it now? Yours was
- 15:54Speaker 1: carry on? No?
- 15:56Speaker 4: Maybe how bad he all felt when he thought I
- 15:57Speaker 4: was carrying on and then ended up on a hospital
- 15:59Speaker 4: with an infection.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yes, he's all felt horrible. Did I send you flowers?
- 16:03Speaker 2: No?
- 16:03Speaker 1: No, but you did I visit you? He's all felt horrible. Oh,
- 16:07Speaker 1: he's actually going to die, possibly going to die.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I was like, that's what I'll sing at his funeral.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And then I'll get out of it. I'd come ahead
- 16:23Speaker 1: and regards if you heard someone singing it's too quiet anyway.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Benny t o, so what happened? Speaking a bronco and he's, yeah, what.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Are We were recording this on Wednesday, so it's kind
- 16:40Speaker 2: of hard to know and understand without knowing.
- 16:43Speaker 1: And understanding what happened.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's and like, yeah, I don't know. There's still
- 16:48Speaker 2: conversations going on with Benny. He's tendered his resignation, so
- 16:53Speaker 2: I don't know if that means you're done.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I've never had a job before either
- 16:59Speaker 1: until now, but I've been sacked and they never gave
- 17:01Speaker 1: me a chance.
- 17:01Speaker 3: So technically they may not have to it. They might go, oh,
- 17:07Speaker 3: it's not so it's not done that, but it hasn't
- 17:09Speaker 3: been squared away.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But it looks like it's done. It looks like yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and it's on the.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Stories earlier is that it's on the back of a
- 17:17Speaker 3: big argument between him and.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Madge, which I found out from Reno that it wasn't
- 17:22Speaker 4: that bad, right, Like it didn't to everyone else.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It was just a normal argument that they've had, which.
- 17:29Speaker 4: You have, like I remember weighing with all like they
- 17:31Speaker 4: have arguments when when it's not going, but that's just
- 17:36Speaker 4: what happens.
- 17:37Speaker 1: They would have had all last year. Like honestly, I actually.
- 17:42Speaker 4: I think it's part of all the bullshit that's been
- 17:44Speaker 4: spoken about the start of the year, like they just
- 17:47Speaker 4: want to camp, yeah, and then they bag before the
- 17:49Speaker 4: season even started, like you know, in the first two
- 17:52Speaker 4: games haven't been great, but ship like it's first two games.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Honestly, argue, this is the.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Pressure of all of it, like the media, the scrutiny,
- 18:01Speaker 4: the crap that they got to deal with, not just players,
- 18:03Speaker 4: it's coaches too, Like it's it's yeah, like it wasn't
- 18:08Speaker 4: deserved all that bullshit and I'm not saying this is
- 18:11Speaker 4: the reason, but it's got to have paid a part,
- 18:14Speaker 4: Like I'm not copping all this and then dealing with
- 18:16Speaker 4: all the other stuff also, you know, and then you know,
- 18:19Speaker 4: thinking is my structure working is what I wanted to working,
- 18:23Speaker 4: like everyone's bag and a defense And you know, I
- 18:26Speaker 4: reckon that takes a toll on a coach, especially to you.
- 18:29Speaker 4: He's just started and I think he's great.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he's a coach in the future. A
- 18:34Speaker 2: lot of people have said that as well. But we
- 18:37Speaker 2: whatever he does, I wish him all the best going forward. Again,
- 18:42Speaker 2: it's going to be a tough role to fill for
- 18:44Speaker 2: the Bronco Massive because again, at the end of the day,
- 18:46Speaker 2: we have such a great attacking team. Defense is where
- 18:51Speaker 2: we need to really tighten up to make sure that
- 18:53Speaker 2: we have a chance in our opportunity to win games
- 18:56Speaker 2: through that attack that we have.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just I'd be surprised if we don't. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 4: if we don't see him at another club very soon
- 19:07Speaker 4: or you know, because he's an old union player who
- 19:11Speaker 4: knows like union troubling, so yeah, there may be an
- 19:14Speaker 4: opportunity there.
- 19:15Speaker 3: If you're going to bet it's Titans. They went up
- 19:17Speaker 3: at the Titans.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I think I don't know if he wanted to come back.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I think he wanted to come back to Queensland, but
- 19:23Speaker 2: for family reasons and support and helping and raising his
- 19:26Speaker 2: own kids. So you know, I kind of well, I
- 19:30Speaker 2: would think that he wouldn't leave Queensland.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, so Titans most like Dolphins. He was there first.
- 19:37Speaker 3: He was a player that could absolutely fire up on
- 19:39Speaker 3: the field, but you never saw him starting fights. Although
- 19:41Speaker 3: put in big hits. But he's he your hot head.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Nah no, nah no, he's my.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Introduction to Ben t.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Remember my first ever training session. It was a back
- 19:55Speaker 4: end of the first like my first twenty year. I
- 19:58Speaker 4: got signed midyear to go first grade preseason next year,
- 20:02Speaker 4: and we came in and the boys were still playing.
- 20:05Speaker 4: He's made the final week or something, and they're doing
- 20:08Speaker 4: this chemic cars drill and the best one explaining this,
- 20:10Speaker 4: it's chemic car It's called chemic Carzi drill. One guy's
- 20:13Speaker 4: got a shield on a pad, like a shield, just
- 20:14Speaker 4: a hit shield. He does nothing like he's thick, right,
- 20:19Speaker 4: it's just to stop your bones from breaking.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Ogon, and there's four poles.
- 20:24Speaker 4: The runner lines up that end and the tackle at
- 20:26Speaker 4: this end on either side of the poles, so on
- 20:28Speaker 4: that side, and then use he runs as hard as
- 20:30Speaker 4: he can, as fast as you can, and you've got
- 20:33Speaker 4: a time you'll run to smack him in the middle of
- 20:34Speaker 4: the poles.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I went first and I ended up having had his kip.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Two poles here, two poles there. You got to meet
- 20:41Speaker 1: and smash him in the middle, coming from where you are,
- 20:45Speaker 1: coming from where he is, and you've got to go
- 20:47Speaker 1: through the middle of the poles. My first session be
- 20:49Speaker 1: like running straight. Yeah, pretty much pretty much. It's just
- 20:53Speaker 1: kind of calculated, but it's not.
- 20:54Speaker 4: But I had I end up lucky dipping Ben and.
- 21:01Speaker 1: He said, you've.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Got to hit me because I'm running out and if
- 21:04Speaker 4: you don't hit, it's gonna hurt you.
- 21:07Speaker 1: And I went right.
- 21:08Speaker 4: I was sweet and I've just gone hard as I could,
- 21:11Speaker 4: and I thought I smacked the shit out of him, mate,
- 21:13Speaker 4: like and I did. I hit him and it hurt.
- 21:15Speaker 4: My should was numb, and he gets up, yeah, right
- 21:19Speaker 4: now my sound. I was like, what and because you
- 21:22Speaker 4: had this what?
- 21:23Speaker 1: And I went ship and he said you better run out.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I said, okay, and I went as hard as I
- 21:30Speaker 4: could and he smacked the living daylights out of me,
- 21:33Speaker 4: like winded me for ten minutes.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I couldn't breathe and it hurts, and I'm going next
- 21:39Speaker 1: next drill.
- 21:42Speaker 4: But like you know, like and I got to meet
- 21:44Speaker 4: like to you then. But yeah, never was he hot head,
- 21:47Speaker 4: Like he was a great.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Guy to learn off.
- 21:49Speaker 4: To be honest, he was really good. So no the
- 21:51Speaker 4: hot head, Noah, it doesn't. I don't think he's one.
