Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
August 6th, 2025. And I guess got to start out
• 0:25
tonight, today, this afternoon, it'll eventually be tonight.
• 0:29
Giving a shout out to my buddy Chad.
• 0:31
Happy birthday, Sir. You're 51 today.
• 0:34
It's nice having you around here from my 50th earlier this year
• 0:37
and can't believe that it's been 30 years since Adam and I took
• 0:41
you around for your 21st birthday.
• 0:43
And yes, that's right, I'm a year younger than you and I took
• 0:47
you out for your 1st birthday. Man, that was a night.
• 0:50
Good fun. All right, so happy birthday,
• 0:53
have a good one and have fun. So last night you did your job
• 0:57
or you did his job, you Darvish that is, went out there
• 1:01
immediately gave up some runs and then the D backs bullpen did
• 1:05
their job, came out there, gave up a lot of runs and we got the
• 1:08
over. That's what we were hoping.
• 1:10
That's what we're banking on. We're expecting that starting
• 1:12
pitcher, you give up the runs early, D backs, bullpen, give up
• 1:17
the runs, get him over 10. We had 8 1/2 needed to get over
• 1:21
that. Padres did it all on their own,
• 1:23
got to 11 when all was said and done.
• 1:25
So it's nice get that win, take those winnings moving forward.
• 1:28
Let's keep this momentum today, sticking to the baseball, and
• 1:31
I'm looking at this matchup. We got the Brewers taking on the
• 1:35
Braves, and I really like this matchup.
• 1:37
Brewers are right now arguably best team in baseball.
• 1:40
They're really doing great, pitching well, hitting well,
• 1:43
bullpens, doing what they're supposed to.
• 1:45
Everything you're supposed to be doing is a good team.
• 1:48
Atlanta is favored in this game. I like Brewers coming in,
• 1:52
finishing off this game, finishing up the sweep, taking
• 1:54
the series, sweeping them out, and I'm getting plus money.
• 1:58
You know how I like plus money. I like it when I'm getting a
• 2:00
team that I think is better than the other team and has been
• 2:03
proving it so far. And I just like where this is
• 2:06
headed. So we're going to take Milwaukee
• 2:08
Brewers on the money line at plus 115 against the Atlanta
• 2:12
Braves in tonight's MLB baseball action.
• 2:15
See anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:17
That's my pick and I'm sticking into it.
