- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Alright, welcome back to the podcast.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Happy Thursday and early beloved, we are gathered here today with Alone Solo Gedwards.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: And we have a very, very spooky episode today.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Oh what now?
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Uh what would you rather have?
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: A roach infestation or a poltergeist?
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Dude.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: Probably a poltergeist, because at least there's some way you can actually get rid of it.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Wait, wait.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: That sounds backwards.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Wait a minute.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: No, you can't get rid of roaches.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Cannot get rid of poltergeist you can just whisk away?
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Well, you can like exercise it away.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: With who, bruh?
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Holy water?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: No, I would go to my local bishop.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: I would find I would find a bro.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Dude, what's aimed in your face?
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: No, I saw a video where this girl, she had like a mosquito net over her bed, and everyone in the comments was like, this is the correct way to do it because if you only have like the side the side things up and you don't have a top cover, then the roaches will crawl on the ceiling over your bed.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: The roaches and drop.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: You you said you said what?
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Roaches.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Or dive bomb in bed?
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Yes, bro.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, bro.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: World War II London getting carpet bomb.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: That was one of the videos I saw before I went to bed.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah, my answer leave a comment below.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe we'll do a Spotify poll.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: What do you what would you pick?
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Roaches or poltergeist?
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I I would rather have neither, honestly.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Thank goodness we live in a place that roaches are not very common.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Thank the Lord.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Because no.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Like Father Andy.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, but since it is spooky month, I decided let's do like a good a good spooky episode.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And I hadn't heard of this actually.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Which is kind of shocking considering it's fairly recent.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: 1942?
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: No, not 1942.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: All you youngins?
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: 2012.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Dang.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: So pretty recent.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Back with Obama.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: But we we are recording this in the dark.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I am gonna get spooked.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: When I was doing research for this, I got scared.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: My cats would cat almost killed you.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: No, my cats would start going at it, and I'd be like, oh my gosh.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: The noises.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: One of them's looking at the ceiling, one of them's on the ceiling.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: But okay, let's let's get into the episode.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: One of the most often asked questions I received about the Bothell houses, what was my scariest moment?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: What was the most horrific event?
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: The answer I usually give is the incident where my poster caught fire.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But in truth, it is hard to answer questions like that because there were so many things that happened that terrified me and Tina.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Considering all the different variables that go into a poltergeist haunting, it is hard to quantify which is number one.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: The poster incident reigned supreme for the simple fact it involved fire.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: It involved locking me inside my house, a case of paranormal false imprisonment, if you will, included the electric interference that I had to deal with while on the phone with the 911 operator.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And you start to understand why I list it as number one.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: The list of the most horrific activity in the Bothel house is endless.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Where she got locked inside the house?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: A man.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: What?
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: So that's that's a quote from the guy.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: So this week we were talking about what's considered the most documented poltergeist case in history.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Is it actually?
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Allegedly.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: In Washington.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Allegedly.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: More commonly known as the Bothel Hell House.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: The case of the Bothel Hell House is unique and that unlike most cases made famous by the media from the 70s and 80s, largely in part due to the film Poltergeist by Steven Spielberg, that came out in 1982.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: This couple's experience happened in 2012, which, like by those standards, is quite modern.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Because you've heard of like Amityville horror and the En-filled poltergeist, that kind of stuff.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: No, but Okay.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: There's like a conjuring movie based off.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Like it's spooky, spooky.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: So, but this, yeah, this happening in 2012 was like technology exists, like there are things that exist that can prove or disprove that this is happening.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Magnetic trap.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: So in 2011, Keith Linder was hired as a software engineer at Microsoft in Seattle.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Keith and his girlfriend Tina decided to get a house together outside the city in the town of Bothell, which is about 20 miles north of Seattle.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: The house is only seven years old, had a few previous owners, but was new.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: The suburb was quaint, and the young couple was excited about their new home.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: On movement day in May of 2012, not even hafting countless boxes of stuff around the two-story home or the tedious task of unpacking everything could dim the young couple's new house high.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Which is why when they heard what sounded like a kid coughing upstairs in the empty house, they dismissed it as maybe one of the windows being open, and what they were hearing was one of the neighbor kids.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Over the next few weeks, odd things started happening.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Keys would go missing, they would wake up to all the kitchen cupboard doors open, doors to rooms they thought they had shut would be open.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: These events were dismissed.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Though they were odd, they were harmless and potentially could be chalked up to the other person forgetting that they had done something.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: The ghost left the toilet seat up.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Dude.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: Continually, just every time.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: You were starting something.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, babe.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: The house must be haunted.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: He was trying to start something.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So this started right away.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: They got the keys, they're moving in someone's coffin upstairs.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: It's like you're on an airplane.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: Someone's always coughing somewhere like three mom's worse than that.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Dude, Leon be looking over his shoulder with a shotgun.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: From there, the behavior escalated.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: By that summer, auditory phenomena was a regular occurrence.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Footsteps could be heard running up and down the hallways.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Loud banging on walls would start and stop abruptly.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: They wouldn't just find doors open or closed like they had in the beginning.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Instead, they would slam shut.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: One night while the couple was watching Netflix, sitting together on the couch, they watched, stunned, as one of their potted plants was lifted off the ground, spun around 360 degrees, and fell to the ground.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Ain't no way.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Even after all this activity, the two of them believed they were being pranked, and it didn't even cross their minds that anything paranormal could be happening.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: When they got up to clean up the plant and to see what happened, by his own account, he said they looked for wires, remotes, or other devices that could have made this physically possible.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: They were like, well, we're new to the neighborhood, like maybe the neighbors, I think, you know?
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: Nah, bro, they're living at the monster house.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: They're trying to rationalize.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: From there, the events became more frequent and more violent.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Objects would be tossed around the house.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Scissors were once found embedded in the wall.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: The ceiling fade wouldn't turn on at the highest speed possible.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's kind of nice.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Well, not like in the middle of the night.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: That'd be scary.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Extra breeze.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So you're not you're not spooked by any of us, but like so far.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Dude, a kid coughing?
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'd be I'd be sick.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: I would just walk out.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't unpack anything.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: No, yeah.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Like some scissors stabbed through the wall.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: That's not that's not great.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: Maybe he just lost like gambling something.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: He had stocks and they they weren't doing too hot.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: It wasn't until late summer 2012 that they realized maybe this wasn't a friendly entity.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: They moved into May.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So they months of this.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: Bro.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: It took them halfway through the summer to figure out hey, maybe this guy ain't so chill.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: What finally set them over the edge was when their Bibles went missing.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Tina was a devout Catholic, and after one of Keith's family Bibles was nowhere to be found, they sought the help of a local local Catholic priest in Bothell, Father Jim Norton.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Though he was hesitant, Father Norton blessed the house and Keith installed a security system in the home for peace of mind, hoping the blessing would neutralize any problem and they could put the fat past few months behind them.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: That's not working.
- 8:38unknown: Right.
- 8:39SPEAKER_01: That ain't working, but Jim Jim don't have that in him.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: If it worked, then this would be a really short episode.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately, this had little success, and the unseen force continued its daily barrage against the couple.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Keith began seeing apparitions of a woman he referred to as the gray lady.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: One evening while working in his office, the light was turned off, and when he looked toward the doorway where the switch was, a woman with a hunched, scruffy appearance took off running down the hallway.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: In another incident, while he was sitting downstairs at the dining room table, he got the feeling he was being watched.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: He looked up towards the stairs and saw hands around the edge of a wall, followed by a face peeking out at him from around the corner in the darkness.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: He described his figure also as having a scruffy or uncupt appearance.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Drawings of what he saw depict the figure having long, almost matted hair.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And when he noticed it, he said it scurried up the stairs.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Oh nah.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: In the drawing, I can show you after.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: It's like the hands.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Quadruped, big foot.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: So imagine like I'm looking at my doorway and I see like fingers around the edge of the doorframe, and then like a head slowly peek out.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: What?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: I'll show you a picture after.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: I'll post the pictures that we talked about in this episode on my Instagram, by the way.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So go check those out.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: By November 2012, though, the home went quiet for a time.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: In early 2013, Keith is part of the beta testers Microsoft is using for their upcoming relaunch of the Connect, the Xbox One.
- 10:14unknown: Oh no.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: For several months, engineers and developers were monitoring his gaming activity remotely.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: The Connect works by sensing the user's full body movement and gestures to play games with no remote required.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: This new version of the technology had a wider field view, better depth tracking, and more precise infrared sensors.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: During the time Keith was a beta tester, the project nearly stopped when engineers discovered anomalies detected in his environment.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Thinking that it was an issue on their end, the team at Redmond tried to figure out what they were seeing on their monitoring devices.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: The shadowy figures seen were compared to lava lamp-like blobs and distinctly non-humanoid.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: Those at Microsoft had no explanation for what they were seeing.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Keith was no stranger to these shadow figures and had been seeing them for months out of the corners of his vision, walking down the hallway at night, or behind doors.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: No thanks.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: 2013 came and went without further incident.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Dude, the Connect, all of a sudden there's a player too.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And there's um recreations of what this looked like too.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: Well, the Connect, that's what um That's what Brittany Broski's mom uses, the exorcist.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: She was using that to find the ghost.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: No, she was using like um She was using the Kinect camera.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: It's not a Connect camera, but it's kind of she joked that it was a Connect camera because that is kind of what it looks like, like stick stick figures essentially, like where your joints would be and uh it wasn't for real?
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: No.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Uh but it is kind of what it looks like.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I thought it was lining up.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: I mean basically.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's get thought it was a lob.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: Let's get Miss Broski on this.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Mother Broski.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: Only if she comes in a minion costume.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Teen and Keith were not as lucky in 2014.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: So 2013, nothing really happened besides Xbox.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Then we got 2014.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Things began to go missing again.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Objects are being thrown with such force that chunks were taken out of the walls of the door and the doors.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Bottles of wine were found scattered around their kitchen floor completely upright.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Oh no, someone's drinking all the wine.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: No, but the bottles they weren't like you know, when you knock bottles over, they kind of roll, they were upright.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And the things can't just fall that way or land that way.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: That'd be really bizarre.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Things start appearing that weren't theirs, like toys belonging to children.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: No, thank you.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: One night while a couple is sleeping, the shoots were violently yanked off them, which began a string of events that focused on disturbing their sleep specifically.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Their bedroom light would turn on and off at all hours of the night, and their bedroom door would open and slam at random.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: I'm blowing the house up, messing with my sleep, that's where I draw the line.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Like it had in 2012, activity was rapidly escalating with known motive besides driving the homeowners crazy.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Dude, yanking the sheets off them while they're sleeping.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: I'd wake up, it'd be like a Scooby-Doo chase scene, me trying to find that guy.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Well, I would think that someone is in the house.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, for sure.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't automatically go some evil entity.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Maybe after a couple years of Maybe after a couple months and like there's proof that no one's actually in the home.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: But uh I would I would feel unsafe thinking that someone was legit in the home.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: You think they uh they blame stuff on like on the poltergeist, so it was definitely them?
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: Toilet seat up.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Toilet paper gone.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it could be.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Food gone out of the fridge, someone's leftovers.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: You don't think they were beefing over stuff like that?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: I didn't read anything about that.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: No.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't admit to it either.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: In spring of 2014, the activity in the house had gone from irritating to life-threatening.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: One morning, this is the incident that we he talked about at the beginning in the beginning.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: One morning after Tina had left for work, Keith had just gone out of the shower when the fire alarm started going off.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Keith recalls running through the house trying to find the source of what triggered the alarms when he felt a large mass running by him.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Through the screaming of every alarm in the house, he hears loud footsteps running down the hallway and towards the stairs.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Suddenly, he sees the front door open and then slams shut.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Thinking that it can be an intruder in the house, he runs toward the front door and turns the doorknob only to find that the door will not open.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: But realizing that he should deal with whatever's inside before pursuing a potential intruder, he runs to his office where a poster above his desk is on fire.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: After putting out the fire, the house is now filled with smoke and he goes to open the front door.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: Once again, the door will not open.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: In a panic with the house full of smoke, Keith calls 911, but every time he tries to relay the address, the call breaks up.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Seemingly all at once the front door opens and the 911 operator is able to get his address.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: When the fire department shows up, Keith is half naked, soaking wet because he had just gotten out of the shower and trying to point to them where the fire was.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: The fire department was unable to determine the cause of the fire.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: But Keith and Tina knew that it had been the work of whatever had been torment tormenting them for the last two years.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: Wow, so it was not just the poster getting caught on fire.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: It was it was other stuff too.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: The guy running past, the doors being locked.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, wow.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Like electrical interference, he can't talk to the 911 operator.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: Still, I think the most egregious is probably someone yanking the sheets off me while I'm snoozing.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: I would have called it quits long before this.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Two years?
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: No way.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Way before.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Keith can have that house back.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Keith and Tina were at a loss as to why the two of them or their house was being targeted and went into problem-solving mode.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Besides the obvious issues, they truly did love the home and the neighborhood it was in.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: What?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: So they didn't they didn't want to move out.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: What kind of good vibes do they have in a house?
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, not enough good vibes, clearly.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: Blow that thing up.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: When they first attempted to get the contact information of the previous residents to see if they had, you know, experienced anything, their landlord said no.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: But in the late summer of 2014, a letter addressed to a lady named Ruby Jackson showed up in their mailbox.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: And I will not, that's a pseudonym.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: I won't be saying this lady's real name.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: Um, for privacy reasons.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Keith immediately sent her a message on Facebook said, Did you and your family ever experience anything weird in the house?
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: A whole two months passed before Ruby replied.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Ruby and her family had lived in the house from 2008 to 2009.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: So not directly before Keith and Tina, but Oh man, it's a financial crisis, poltergeist.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: Gotta be it.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: Bro.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: It's the hopes and dreams of the financial institution in the United States.
- 17:13unknown: Right.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: In her response, she said, sorry I never got back.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: My husband is the main reason I don't.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: He just wants to protect me.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: The fact is we have been through it.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: To answer your question about the house in Bothell, it was the beginning of the end in that place.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: We've been through hell and back, and still we are.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: But I can't say it's the house.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: What?
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: She goes on to say, It's them?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: The kids were at the house with a friend of ours for a couple of weeks at one point.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: The friend woke up to the sounds of cupboards in the kitchen and went downstairs to find them all open.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Whatever is inside you, as far as faith and hope in God will overcome whatever is happening.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, obviously it didn't help them.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: How's he gonna help me?
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Well, whatever was happening in the house, Keith and Tina clearly were not the first victims.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Ruby's son had told her in other communications with Keith that he had seen shadow figures in the home, similar to the lava lamp like blobs that had been um shown on the connect screens.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: On multiple occasions, a slider door would slam shut and lock Ruby out of the house, and they also experienced the lights turning off and on in the night.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately for Ruby, their issues didn't stop once they once the activity abated.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Ruby and her husband had gotten a divorce and he moved out, and she started drinking heavily to cope with the nonstop activity in the house, which turned into an alcohol addiction.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Her mental health deteriorated, leading to multiple suicide attempts and police involvement on multiple occasions.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: In a March 2009 police report, it states that when officers got to the home, they entered the house upon hearing, why are you doing this to me?
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: I just want to go home, stop it.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: And no other person was in the house.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: The house was built in 2005.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: So what dark history had the house accumulated in the past years that led to such negative energy and physical violence?
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: Like what was what was the cause of all this?
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: Because it had been happening prior to Keith and Tina.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: And then a few years prior to that, with Rube Jackson and her family.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: It's like what's what's going on?
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: Hey, don't worry.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: With the Lord can help you, just have faith.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: He couldn't help me.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: I only lasted a year there, but you guys got this.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: With all the information he had and proof of physical evidence he had accumulated over the years and additional insight from Ruby, Keith began seeking help from people who might be able to do a proper paranor paranormal investigation so they could figure out what they were dealing with.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Sam and Colby on the scene.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately, I think Sam and Colby were like 1314 at this time.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: Back at the house, meanwhile, things are still happening and now escalating.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Scrawled images and illegible drawings were found all over the walls in Keith's office, including a large 666, which is what drew the interest of Zach Baggins and the producers in charge of Ghost Adventures.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: That has to be like some there's no way.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: 666.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: Now we got Bilbo Baggins on the case.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Zach Baggins.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: In November 2014, Zack Baggins and his crew showed up at the house prepared to do their best to give Keith and Tina the benefit of the doubt.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Right away, the team had a vibe that the evidence that Keith Linder presented was fake.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: No entity that they had come across was spray painting 666 on the walls or stealing Bibles.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Just like physically, you would that that's not a normal thing that happens.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Even still, they set up their cameras and cameras and went through the investigation.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: This is one of the few episodes where no evidence was collected throughout their entire like stay there.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Which is odd considering Keith and Tina said things were happening daily.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Is that crazy or when the episode aired in early 2015 titled Demons in Seattle, Keith very publicly denounced their lack of effort when it came to the investigation and their portrayal of the couple.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: In the episode, the Ghost Adventures crew made it a secret that they believed it was fake.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Public scrutiny and negative attention online added more tension between the couple, and in March of 2015, Keith and Tina broke up.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised you stayed that long.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: Dude, me.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised either of them stayed that long.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: Meanwhile, the activity in the house was still happening frequently.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: After Brother, leave.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Who kid?
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: In July 2015, Keith sought out to have the house itself exercised by Episcopalian priest Father Roy.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: This is a different father.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Father Roy assisted with ridding the house of any dark forces multiple times.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Like he left and came back and he left.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Came back.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: After this failed to work, Keith believed he was being haunted by a poltergeist, which is different and more difficult to deal with compared to a standard haunting.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Undeterred by the direction of the Ghost Adventures episode, Keith sought out more independent investigators to find evidence or potentially the source of the hauntings.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: He contacted a UK group called the Scientific Establishment of Parapsychology, SCP.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Unlike Ghost Adventures, they didn't take his word at face value, and for seven weeks he was required to send them a daily incident log, in addition to a psychological questionnaire to determine if there was enough legitimate reason for them to come investigate.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: In January 2016, the team led by Steve Mara and Don Phillips descended on the Bothel home.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: They filled the house with equipment, including EMF meters, thermal cameras, motion sensors, laser tripwires, and audio recorders, which altogether recorded around 427 different EVP tapes.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Information gathered from a cluster of EVP sessions pointed to the house potentially being built on Irish burial grounds.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: However, later in their official report, it's revealed this was because Irish sounding accents could be heard over the recording and there was no and there was no verified record or evidence of any burial grounds.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: So they're like, oh my gosh, it must be.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: They're telling us that it's an Irish broom.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: Dude.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: The team left and returned to the home multiple times that year, but they officially closed the case in September of 2016, ruling that it appeared to be an intelligent haunting with poltergeist-like features.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: SCP also thought Linder himself might be a focus for the activity and described a loop in which his reaction to the events could keep them going.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: It found him sincere with no drug use or delusions, but described his fascination with the case as obsessive and advised him to pay less attention to it.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: At the end of their conclusion, they point out that this is all based on the months that they had spent observing the activity in the home and not the years of activity that had been occurring prior to them being there.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Curissa Hartley, one of the chief researchers on the U.S.-based team, said, I know the story is unbelievable because it's so extreme, but this is one of the most extreme hauntings I've ever investigated.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: Kind of towards the end of 2016, after four years in the Bothel House, Keith Linder moved out.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: And despite no longer being in the home, Keith believes that whatever was in the home is now attached to him.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: No way.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: He still regularly experiences strange phenomenon.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: In 2018, he published his first book about his and Tina's detailed experiences during their four years there.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: The Bothel Hell House, Poltergeist of Washington State, is the first of three books that he has written.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Keith Linder 100% believes in what he experienced and can be often found in the Reddit comments of posts talking about the very controversial Ghost Adventures episode.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: Are we serious?
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: You're just lurking on Reddit?
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I found him on there multiple times while looking stuff up.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: No, he put out a trilogy.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: On wow.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: So the first book was about him and Tina's experience.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: The second book was about Dealing with uh with life after Tina?
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: No.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: It was about like the previous tenants of the home and the history of the house.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, the house is only like what, seven years old when I first got into it?
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: High respiratory on the ground.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: If you look at a picture of the house, it's like our Ballymade house.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: That's what it looks like.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Wow, it's just cookie cutter.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Like very standard cookie cutter, just in this subdivision that was probably very similar to that.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's see if I can find you a picture.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, this Keith guy must have been real entertaining if the ghost decided, hey, let me just follow him.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: Like this is this is pretty fun.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Well, and from what I was understood, it's this house is not even a house that they owned.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they were just renting it.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: So they were they said the landlord had it.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so they were renting the house.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: They could have broken the lease anytime, they could have left.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: They're renting the house.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: And meanwhile, the house is like inflicting all this damage, quote unquote, on itself.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Mental damage.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Like fires are happening, there's holes in the walls.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Now you have 666 spray painted on the walls.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: Like as a landlord, I'd be kind of like, what is going on?
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: And actually, the landlord approved the second exorcism by Father Roy.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: He was like, Yeah, please.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Man, if he was a real one, father would have uh accidentally lit a match and accidentally thrown it and accidentally burned the house down so they could just get an insurance payout.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, it looks normal.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: Looks like your typical standard, nothing, nothing crazy, nothing.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Doesn't shout, poltergeist.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, wait, now let me show you the pictures of like the stuff on the walls.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's crazy work.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: You're telling me that this ghost can go to Home Depot for me, pick up some spray paint, come back, but it can't like they can't put fresh toilet paper on my roll.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: Can't make me breakfast, like well, allegedly they found that they couldn't determine what the stuff that was the medium that was used to write this stuff on the walls.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Like it wasn't spray paint, it wasn't a marker.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, how did the landlord not a victim?
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: How'd the landlord not know?
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: Is there like a like a disclaimer?
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's kind of one of the arguments.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: It's like it was this was this an attempt at fraud that kind of like went too far?
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: Were they trying to get money or something from from this?
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, this is the this is the illustration of the lady peeking around the corner.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: He made a book about it, so let's Yeah, I wouldn't love that.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: Can you see that?
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I wouldn't love that at all.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm fine not having that happen, actually.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm good.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Spooky, huh?
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm okay.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: Keith can keep all that to himself, man.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: And you know, like they said, maybe it's him just giving it more energy and there's a lot of people.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: He gave it three books, bro.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: That too.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: Gave it some notoriety, like now it's now it's known.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: Gave it a TV show, gave it researchers came from the UK to come see it.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Well, and there's so much famous.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: There's so much photo evidence of like holes in the walls, of things being knocked over, all sorts crazy object manipulation.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's like pretty easy to claim that stuff though.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Like you can knock pot off a table, you can put put a hole in the wall.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Like, I mean, unless it was like behaving for for the Sam and Colby that came out.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't think.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: I don't know, just weird.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Like it was quiet for seven whole days.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: So poltergeist, like, definitively, what's the difference between a poltergeist and a ghost?
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: A ghost is typically like inoffensive for the most part, whereas a poltergeist's malicious.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, mischievous, destructive, noisy, cruel, erratic, thievish, purposeless, cunning, unhelpful, malicious, teasing, spiteful reason mimicking.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: They're just they're causing problems for no reason.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: For the fun of it.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll take a ghost.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: No, no poltergeist, though.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: I'm okay.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Also, it should be noted that Ruby Jackson did commit suicide in 2016.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: So then there's like that aspect of it too.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: They experienced stuff in the house.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: It wasn't just Keith and Tina.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: Well, that kind of adds We never heard from the husband though.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: But that kind of adds like a level of credibility.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, Ruby said that her husband didn't want her, her ex-husband didn't want her responding to Keith because of everything that they had dealt with.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: So weren't they already divorced at that point?
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: They were divorced, yeah.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: But they still like shared kids and Yeah.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm I I feel like a lot of relationships went went through a lot of strain in 2008, though.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: So I mean this could have just been a way for her to rationalize that.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: Could yeah, could be a financial.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: But then I don't know how much about Keith and man, the landlord, like, there's no way you wouldn't know.
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, who somebody has to repair the holes in the wall?
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: Well, and I wonder when Keith and Tina left, did the activity continue?
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Did it stop?
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Like, are the people that live there now do they know it's been like the subject of this I mean after these crazy investigations?
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: I have a TV show.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: I feel like you'd be able to like Google it and it'd come up.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: I would I really want to watch, I haven't watched the Ghost Adventures episode, but people online are like, this episode is unironically hilarious because they're really trying their best to believe the couple and like not laugh in their faces, but sweet.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: At the same time, it's like clearly this is of all the things that they've seen, this is outrageous.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: This guy left me two squares of toilet paper.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: No, I guess in one incident, like they left and he called them and was like, oh my gosh, it stapled my pants to the wall.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: Guys, you're not gonna believe this.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: It just made me pee my pants.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: You think if you if you just think of all the stuff they experienced, and most of what we know of what happened in the Baffle House is from Keith himself.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know if he's uh if he's a good narrator, though.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: But then but if you think about Ruby Jackson and her family, again, adds like a different level of one of them.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: But even different if we heard from the kids and the husband and Yeah.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: Have we heard from uh Keith's yeah, Tina?
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: No, I don't think so.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: I'd be so curious.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, but she went, she was on the Ghost Adventures episode.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: Like she was still corroborating all of the stuff that Keith was saying.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's some weird people out there though.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: And she would have been there when the sheets are ripped off and the lights are going on and off.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but she hasn't said anything about that.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: There's some strange people out there.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Tina, if you're out there, I would love to hear from you.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: Like somebody could easily make that up, not even to make a buck, but just like make something of themselves, I guess.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, but to go through all that effort to like fake psychological torture?
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: It's not even all that effort though.
- 32:49SPEAKER_01: The only thing that was the only evidence they have is the writings on the wall.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: Nothing else was real.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Nothing else was documented.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: No, ever a lot was documented.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: By Keith.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: No, right, exactly.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: It was all documented by Keith.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: It's like we're assuming all this.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, but to like we don't know.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: And say that like a candle stick was thrown at you, and so that's why there's a hole in the wall is crazy.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: That's kind of nuts behavior.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Dude, we just did an episode on a guy who was like strangling birds at the ripe age of like five.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: I know, and and that's a weird people out there.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Not everyone's baseline.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Okay, so what do you what do you think of the Bothell Hellhouse?
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, if it was happening to me, I'd be terrified.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: No, I'd be scared.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: I was scared reading about the stuff.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: When I saw the drawing of the lady peeking around the corner, said, mm-mm, I'm going to bed.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, that sucks too.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I would just be the most upset about this guy messing with my sleep, like turning lights on, yanking my sheets.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm not for that.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: Slamming of the doors.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: I like my sleep.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, them getting forced to lose sleep is a form of psychological torture.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: It's beyond just I'm gonna put holes in the wall for funsies.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: It's I'm purposefully losing sleep.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: Well, but again, the losing sleep part is just documented by Keith.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: So, like, he could have gotten a full 10 hours and said, Oh man, that's two hours of sleep.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: I just got sucked.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: He could have been the one yanking the sheets.
- 34:32SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness, Tina, wake up.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: Someone just yanked the sheets off.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: Keith, why are you standing over the bed?
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Keith, I see you.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Keith, it's not that dark.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: Yo, Keith, put the string down, bro.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: Okay, believability score.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: I don't even know.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, this all hinges on one man.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: Well, but then also the investigator team that came in, they experienced some things and they believed that stuff was happening.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Did they experience it or they just picked it up on the the thing of material?
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: No, they they experienced stuff.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: They were there for quite a while.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: They experienced stuff.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: The ghost there was leaving them one square of toilet paper.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: No.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: Malicious.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, okay.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: I guess that gives it some credibility.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know, believability maybe like a three.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: But also they they went to the house knowing that this was happening, so it's kind of like confirmation bias.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, three.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Creepy level.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: Um, assuming it's true, I'll give it like a nine.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, the homes, they're a pretty sacred place.
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: I'd want to like get home from a day of work and just relax and restore, but if I know somebody's at home that's gonna prevent me from doing all that and terrorize me in the process, like, yeah, that's no fun.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: Supposed to be a safe space, come on.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: Well, and considering the house is itself looks unassuming, like it's not a creepy, decrepit, weird vibes house.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: It's just like a standard home.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: Man, like kind of adds to like the weird.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: I was realizing it's like them staying for a full two plus years, or what, you know, left after like four years?
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: That just like I I don't think that's normal human behavior.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: I mean You would leave, man.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: Like you have at least.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: I would leave.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: You have at least it's what a year maybe?
- 36:37SPEAKER_01: Afterget a year.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: You I'd I'd break it after like a month.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: After the first summer of all that activity.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: I'm breaking the lease.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: I'm out.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: There's there's nothing hold me back.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Even if it stops and you're like, okay, maybe it's done.
- 36:49SPEAKER_01: No, there's nothing hold me back.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: It happens there a couple times, I'm good.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: No.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: Call Sam and Colby.
- 36:56SPEAKER_01: Now, if they own the house, that'd be different, but they were just renting it, dude.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: You can't just break the lease.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: Like, there's there's no point.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: You find kids' toys in your house?
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: No kids.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: They would have things disappear, but then other things reappeared that weren't theirs.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, thanks.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: Which is really bizarre too.

- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: I'm okay not going.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: But that'd be kind of weird, not gonna- I mean, hopefully the house is blown up by now.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: No, I think it's I think it still exists.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: Oh man, I'd tear that thing down.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: I think I could probably figure it out, but don't want to go there.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: I want to stay away from the energy.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: Yep, no thanks.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: I don't need that following me home.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna light some ethically sourced sage.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: Feel better.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: Don't want any of that.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: Looking for the next three books.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: I guess the first book is like 400 some pages.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: Hey man, you could have made a buck off like 150.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: Split that up into three volumes.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: Three, and then you got another three, and then that could have been three trilogies.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: You're giving him ideas.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: Maybe maybe he'll hear this.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: Not anymore.

- 38:27SPEAKER_00: He's ready to truth is out there.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: He's ready to prove that they did find they did find stuff.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: That's his main argument on all the Reddit three.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: All the Reddit comments is if people are kind of questioning the Ghost Adventures episode or even just the house itself, they're like, no, no, no.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: We found blah blah blah evidence according to the SCP investigation in 2016.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: But again, all the stuff is based off of mostly what they told him.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: No, no, believe me, I experienced this.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Dude, like that doesn't that doesn't help.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, no one's saying that he didn't experience it necessarily.
