- 0:09Speaker 1: Wondering what you're talking about.
- 0:13Speaker 2: There are no self made people in this kingdom. A
- 0:16Speaker 2: man can receive nothing except it is given to him
- 0:19Speaker 2: by God. I trust that the session will be having
- 0:22Speaker 2: now will be most transforming. In Jesus name, Can we
- 0:25Speaker 2: lift our hands to heaven in one minute and just
- 0:28Speaker 2: ask the Lord to speak to us.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Go ahead and ask.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Him to speak to your heart in the name of
- 0:39Speaker 2: Jesus Christ.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You are heavenly is you are heaven. He is the
- 0:58Speaker 1: one who is able to help men. You are ebenies.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Oh you are eveny a smartestimone. You are eavenies, the
- 1:24Speaker 1: lifter of men.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You are EAVENI is a sing it one time with
- 1:31Speaker 2: understanding because he's lifting you. You are evenies a.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You are EAVENI is a father.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Speak to our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ,
- 1:53Speaker 2: God bless you.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Please be seated.
- 1:56Speaker 2: May I request in the name of Jesus that you
- 1:59Speaker 2: pay very close attention to the things will be learning.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I really respect the vision and intelligence behind a conference
- 2:10Speaker 2: like this. These are dedicated moments. When I sat back
- 2:14Speaker 2: just listening to all the professionals speak and reverence.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Some was just giving me a hint as to who
- 2:19Speaker 1: was talking.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You know, I said, my God, can you imagine sitting
- 2:24Speaker 2: here for a day, two, three days under this atmosphere
- 2:28Speaker 2: of spirituality and intelligence. When Christ is revealed, he is
- 2:32Speaker 2: revealed as the power of God, Andrews revealed as the
- 2:36Speaker 2: wisdom of God. Praise the name of the Lord. I'm
- 2:46Speaker 2: teaching very briefly. I really see it more of a
- 2:49Speaker 2: training than a teaching, just to lend my contribution to
- 2:54Speaker 2: what God is doing. The power to continue, the power
- 3:01Speaker 2: to continue.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The power to continue.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Will be examining the principles that make for sustainable impact.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The keyword sustainable Ecclesiast is seven and verse eight. Ecclesiasts,
- 3:21Speaker 2: Chapter seven and verse eight, Alleluiah. The Bible says better
- 3:27Speaker 2: when we have it projected, all right, So it says,
- 3:30Speaker 2: let's read together, please, one to read better is the
- 3:34Speaker 2: end of a thing than the beginning? Thereoff just the
- 3:38Speaker 2: apath one more time.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Better is the end of a thing.
- 3:45Speaker 2: The Bible mentions two very important words, one beginning and
- 3:50Speaker 2: the other end. One beginning and the other end. We're
- 4:00Speaker 2: not teaching on ending. My focus is on beginning and continuing.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I found out from Scripture through the power of mentorship,
- 4:10Speaker 2: and from experience that as far as advancement is concerned,
- 4:15Speaker 2: there are two dimensions of power. We need the power
- 4:18Speaker 2: to begin and the power to continue, And the dynamics
- 4:23Speaker 2: of accessing this power is totally different, the power to
- 4:27Speaker 2: begin anything and the power to continue. In Job chapter
- 4:33Speaker 2: eight and verse seven, Job chapter eight and verse seven,
- 4:39Speaker 2: the Bible says Job eight and verse seven, do we
- 4:46Speaker 2: have it?
- 4:46Speaker 1: There?
- 4:47Speaker 2: It says, though thy beginning was small, yet die latter end?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Should It didn't say, well, it's an expectation if you
- 4:56Speaker 2: work in keeping with certain principles based on God's pattern,
- 5:01Speaker 2: that it is all right when your beginning is small.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But it says your letter and should greatly increase. It
- 5:08Speaker 2: doesn't guarantee it will.
- 5:11Speaker 1: He's saying it should increase.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Are we together? So everyone has a beginning? To begin
- 5:19Speaker 2: means to start. To begin means to initiate. To begin
- 5:24Speaker 2: means to ignite the process. Revelations chapter one and verse eighteen.
- 5:31Speaker 2: The concept of beginning is so powerful that God names
- 5:34Speaker 2: himself after that concept. He calls himself Alpha and Omega.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Then he calls himself the.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Beginning and the end.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Allelujah, New King James version, If we can have it
- 5:53Speaker 2: please Genesis twenty six. I'll begin my reading from verse thirteen.
- 5:57Speaker 2: This is really where I'm teaching from Genesis twenty six,
- 6:01Speaker 2: from verse thirteen. Just needed to put that foundation that
- 6:07Speaker 2: it is important to understand how to begin and to continue.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Let's read together. Ready, one to read?
- 6:13Speaker 2: And the man began to prosper uhhah, and continued prospering
- 6:21Speaker 2: until he became very prosperous. Just hang on, will read
- 6:25Speaker 2: to sixteen, but will take it carefully. The Bible says,
- 6:27Speaker 2: the man began began, means it was not his experience
- 6:32Speaker 2: before that time. Are we together now?
- 6:35Speaker 1: This is good news.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It means I can begin to begin, means to capture
- 6:40Speaker 2: into your space and experience that once was not your
- 6:44Speaker 2: experience before that time. That means I can start something
- 6:49Speaker 2: that was not there. I can bring into my space
- 6:52Speaker 2: through knowledge a reality that was not captured in my experience.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It is very powerful. Men can begin, Men can begin,
- 7:02Speaker 1: is the privilege that God gave us.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Men can begin, I can begin to make progress, I.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Can begin to prosper. I can begin to know God.
- 7:14Speaker 2: So just because I'm deficient of a reality or a
- 7:19Speaker 2: dimension does not mean that is the end of me.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I can begin to do things right, I can begin.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Beginning is very powerful because it means.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Beginning means the end of hopelessness away together now.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And the man began to prosper, began to prosper.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Now how many times he tried, we do not know.
- 7:44Speaker 1: But one thing for sure is the.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Bible tells us that his prosperity and his exploits had
- 7:49Speaker 2: a date for its start, and the man began for someone.
- 7:53Speaker 1: This is the conference where.
- 7:54Speaker 2: You begin to make notable constructive advance in your life.
- 8:00Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus Christ. Every human on earth
- 8:05Speaker 2: has what we call a birth date. A birth date
- 8:09Speaker 2: means when you manifested in this rhym, not when you
- 8:14Speaker 2: started your formation. Everybody's age is plus at least seven
- 8:17Speaker 2: months eight months. We don't count that. We count the
- 8:21Speaker 2: day we saw you, not from a machine. The day
- 8:24Speaker 2: you manifested physically is when we begin your accounting.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Is that true? Yes, we call.
- 8:30Speaker 2: It a birth date, and from that time on, every
- 8:35Speaker 2: time of the year, you commemorate knowing that I am
- 8:40Speaker 2: I was born, but I am still alive.
- 8:42Speaker 1: The day you die. You are not the one who
- 8:44Speaker 1: talks about it.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Someone else who say, finally, this person has come to
- 8:47Speaker 2: one end inasmuch as we know living in this physical
- 8:51Speaker 2: rem is concerned. Listen very carefully. The Bible says, the
- 8:54Speaker 2: man began to prosper, And you would think the Bible
- 8:58Speaker 2: would just say he prospered. But then the Bible says,
- 9:02Speaker 2: and continued prospering.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Now that is a very serious message. He began to prosper.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Why would the Bible now capture the fact that that
- 9:14Speaker 2: man who began to prosper is still at it?
- 9:16Speaker 1: Still now, there is no.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Guarantee that because he began, he would continue.
- 9:23Speaker 1: This is a very powerful information.
- 9:25Speaker 2: The man began to prosper, and after ten years he's
- 9:30Speaker 2: still at it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: The man began to move forward.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Statistic tells us that more than eighty percent of businesses
- 9:39Speaker 2: churches that die within the first year.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 9:44Speaker 2: So don't you downplay this issue of continuation. I'm interested
- 9:49Speaker 2: in the continuing part. The Bible says, he began to prosper,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and he continued prospering until he became very prosper errors.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Let's finish up to sixteen fourteen.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Now, the Bible says, for he had possession of flocks
- 10:12Speaker 2: and possession of herds, and a great number of savants.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Now a problem was about.
- 10:19Speaker 2: To be introduced to his life as a result of continuing.
- 10:24Speaker 2: That problem was not there when he started, but his
- 10:28Speaker 2: consistency was leading him to lend something.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Pay attention, the Bible says.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Some people were now invited into his world by reason
- 10:38Speaker 2: of his results. The Bible says so on account of
- 10:44Speaker 2: his consistency, the Phyllis times envied him fifteen. Now the
- 10:55Speaker 2: Philistines had stopped all the wells which his father savants
- 11:00Speaker 2: dog in the days of Abraham his father, and they
- 11:03Speaker 2: had filled.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Them with earth. Were reading to sixteen.
- 11:08Speaker 2: And a bimeleg said to Isaac, go away from us. Why,
- 11:14Speaker 2: for you are much mightier than we.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Made. The Lord grant us understanding in the name of
- 11:24Speaker 1: Jesus Christ.
- 11:27Speaker 2: So the Bible shows us clearly here that it takes
- 11:30Speaker 2: a separate dynamics.
- 11:32Speaker 1: To continue as it takes to start. That it is
- 11:37Speaker 1: usually very easy.
- 11:39Speaker 2: All you need is determination and to work in keeping
- 11:43Speaker 2: with a few principles, and then push with faith, and
- 11:47Speaker 2: you can start. The beautiful thing about starting is that
- 11:50Speaker 2: accuracy is not required.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Determination and motion is all that is needed to start.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Are we together now?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yes, you are not given the liberty to criticize anybody
- 12:05Speaker 2: for starting. Accuracy and perfection and mastery is not needed
- 12:10Speaker 2: when you start.
- 12:11Speaker 1: There are people who drive, are listening together.
- 12:14Speaker 2: There are people who drive, and when they begin their
- 12:17Speaker 2: process of learning to drive and then now driving on
- 12:19Speaker 2: the road, they put something L now. No matter what
- 12:24Speaker 2: the person is doing on the road, by reason of
- 12:26Speaker 2: that L, it already discourages you from saying you're not
- 12:31Speaker 2: doing well. He already told you I'm moving, but I'm
- 12:34Speaker 2: a learner. You do not expect accuracy or perfection or
- 12:40Speaker 2: flawlessness from his statu In fact, you encourage the person
- 12:46Speaker 2: for having the audacity to overcome that inertia.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 12:51Speaker 2: But remaining, remaining and sustaining your.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Result who require it.
- 13:00Speaker 2: It would be foolish and childish to criticize and fight
- 13:04Speaker 2: a young man or a young boy for starting anything.
- 13:10Speaker 1: The Bible says when he started the Phillis fans were
- 13:12Speaker 1: watching him.
- 13:13Speaker 2: They were not concerned about his starting, But when he continued,
- 13:18Speaker 2: invited or not, they came into his space. He was
- 13:22Speaker 2: now managing things that he did not face when he
- 13:25Speaker 2: was starting. Many people may have the power to start,
- 13:30Speaker 2: but the comina to continue requires a set of dynamics
- 13:35Speaker 2: that until you are taught, you may give up on
- 13:38Speaker 2: the way away together. The Bible talked about Moses when
- 13:44Speaker 2: God motivated him and engraced him to go.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And meet Pharaoh.
- 13:47Speaker 2: He went, and I'm not sure what he expected, but
- 13:52Speaker 2: he left with such embarrassment and sadness, and the Bible says.
- 13:57Speaker 1: He continued to go to Pharaoh again and again and
- 14:01Speaker 1: again and again.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It took tamina for him to be able to bring
- 14:07Speaker 2: the nation of Israel out of Egypt, even do.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It was God sending him.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Just because God is before you does not guarantee that
- 14:16Speaker 2: you will.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Start and continue just by default.
- 14:20Speaker 2: There are laws, and my assignment is to be able
- 14:23Speaker 2: to guide us by the spirit. Because everyone of us
- 14:26Speaker 2: here I presume that were leaders.
- 14:28Speaker 1: In some respects. So we've started something.
- 14:31Speaker 2: There is a vision, there is a ministry, there is
- 14:33Speaker 2: a business, and many of you, by reason of your
- 14:36Speaker 2: working and keeping with the principles who have been taught
- 14:39Speaker 2: you are now rising consistently. Let me inform you that
- 14:43Speaker 2: there is a thresholding success that when you reach, certain
- 14:47Speaker 2: things will start happening in your life.
- 14:48Speaker 1: That it is important for you to know.
- 14:51Speaker 2: In biology, there are children for as long as their children.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Maybe onder twelve thirteen, there are certain things that don't.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Happen to them.
- 15:00Speaker 2: When they get to eleven twelve thirteen, their parents now
- 15:03Speaker 2: would see them and start telling them, there is a.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Transition in your life. Is that true?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Because by reason of your consistency in growth, you are
- 15:12Speaker 2: now going to be facing certain challenges psychologically, biologically that
- 15:17Speaker 2: you must be prepared for. If a child is not
- 15:20Speaker 2: prepared for that face, there are usually a plectora of
- 15:24Speaker 2: catastrophes because now the person is not managing failure. You
- 15:30Speaker 2: have to be taught to manage success. Most people do
- 15:36Speaker 2: something about failure alone. They don't do something about great success.
- 15:41Speaker 2: The body of being consistently successful is by far greater
- 15:46Speaker 2: than the body of failure. And the man began to prosper,
- 15:52Speaker 2: and he continued prospering, and the Bible says, and the
- 15:57Speaker 2: Philistines envied him, hallelujam Proverabs. Chapter twenty four and verse ten. Provabs.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Chapter twenty four and verse ten. Let's talk about continuing Proverabs.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Twenty four and verse ten. The Bible says, if you
- 16:19Speaker 2: faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
- 16:27Speaker 2: If you faint in the day of adversity. I draw
- 16:31Speaker 2: a lot of inspiration from athletes. And when you watch
- 16:41Speaker 2: people run marathon. There is the long distance race called marathon,
- 16:46Speaker 2: where they have kilometers to cover, could be round a
- 16:50Speaker 2: circle or just across you know, a pre defined region. Now,
- 16:54Speaker 2: when the cat usually there would be not less than
- 16:58Speaker 2: fifty people.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Some already know they will not finished, is that true.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Some want to give their strengthy chance to see how
- 17:08Speaker 2: far can go.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But there are some who start with the intention of
- 17:13Speaker 1: continuing and finishing.
- 17:15Speaker 2: When the gun is shot, everyone some begin to laugh
- 17:19Speaker 2: at themselves as they start.
- 17:21Speaker 1: They know that they are not prepared to finish.
- 17:23Speaker 2: But in the midst of that crowd you will see
- 17:26Speaker 2: a few very slim, usually tall, deturning fellows who don't
- 17:31Speaker 2: talk to anyone.
- 17:33Speaker 1: They start moving.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Many times, they are usually not in front because they
- 17:37Speaker 2: have mastered that thing. They are somewhere. They are not behind,
- 17:40Speaker 2: but they are not in front. They know that the
- 17:43Speaker 2: dynamics will change. Starting is easy. Someone will enjoy the
- 17:47Speaker 2: ten minutes of knowing that I'm leading, and the one
- 17:50Speaker 2: who will actually win knows that this man is wasting
- 17:53Speaker 2: his time. The fact that you are obsessed about winning
- 17:56Speaker 2: at the beginning, or being fessed. It tells that professional
- 18:00Speaker 2: that you are not even going to go far because there.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Is a skill to it.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Everyone starts and then eventually something called exhaustion. Exhaustion is
- 18:10Speaker 2: a product of time and diligence, not laziness. You can
- 18:13Speaker 2: be exhausted when you are not even doing anything, and
- 18:19Speaker 2: gradually their pace and their energy.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Begins to deplete.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Away learning now and you find out that a few
- 18:26Speaker 2: people now start thinking, do why continue?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Do I stay? What is the risk of staying? What
- 18:31Speaker 1: is the risk of continuing?
- 18:33Speaker 2: A time will come, Your mind won't give you a
- 18:35Speaker 2: chance to think again.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Your body would just say I'm exhausted.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Stop, and people stop with all kinds of skills, Some fall,
- 18:43Speaker 2: some just hold, some are angry, some even faint. And
- 18:47Speaker 2: yet those few, by the time they get to maybe midway,
- 18:53Speaker 2: the dynamics change. You will notice their breathing will change.
- 18:57Speaker 2: You will notice that they cannot even turn to the left,
- 19:00Speaker 2: as much as turning to the left can distract them.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And finally they run, and by the last round you
- 19:09Speaker 2: will be surprised to see they've start energy that you
- 19:14Speaker 2: never imagine. They would look like they wouldn't make it,
- 19:18Speaker 2: and then they would run and win. And you see
- 19:20Speaker 2: them stand breathing. Just take a cup of water or so,
- 19:24Speaker 2: and they're fine. I draw a lot of inspiration there
- 19:27Speaker 2: because it shows me how people run this race in
- 19:30Speaker 2: life and destiny. There are people who start ministry as
- 19:34Speaker 2: though is going to happen for one month and they
- 19:36Speaker 2: will rest. They are happy and excited. They've been burning
- 19:40Speaker 2: with messages, mysteries after mysteries one. I mean, they're itching
- 19:44Speaker 2: to share everything. And after two months they've exhausted the messages.
- 19:50Speaker 2: They open the Bible and it looks like it's just
- 19:52Speaker 2: a white sheet of paper. There is nothing written there. Again,
- 20:06Speaker 2: the stamina to continue comes from four channels. The stamina
- 20:12Speaker 2: to continue comes from four channels.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 20:21Speaker 2: That means beginning your destiny, your ministry.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Your business, and so on and so forth.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That is commendable, but that is not enough guarantee that
- 20:33Speaker 2: you will continue and you will last. Because as you
- 20:40Speaker 2: remain in any system, the requirements on you become greater.
- 20:45Speaker 2: There is a greater requirement of perfection. There are things
- 20:49Speaker 2: people would forgive you about yesterday, but they willn't forgive
- 20:52Speaker 2: the tomorrow's version of you they expect.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Look at Moses.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Moses for his argument with God at a certain level,
- 21:02Speaker 2: Moses was prohibited from entering the promised land. Secaraiya's mouth
- 21:07Speaker 2: was shot because as a priest who are at the
- 21:10Speaker 2: encounters with God, he shouldn't be asking the angel that question.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And he said, I would shut your mouth. The same
- 21:16Speaker 2: question Mary asked, and the Angel answered her. Look, how
- 21:19Speaker 2: unfair that was what he was dealing with people at
- 21:22Speaker 2: two different dimensions.
- 21:25Speaker 1: You can do something is statterded and.
- 21:29Speaker 2: God will honor that person and let him go and
- 21:32Speaker 2: punish you in a way that you will be surprised,
- 21:35Speaker 2: because to whom much is giving, much is expected.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Are we learning now? This is very powerful.
- 21:43Speaker 2: It takes stamina to continue, Stamina to remain, stamina to
- 21:48Speaker 2: lead your field, Stamina to continue to make consistent exploits.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Number one.
- 22:02Speaker 2: The first channel where the stamina and the strength for
- 22:08Speaker 2: continuity comes from is humility. Write this humility. You want
- 22:15Speaker 2: to continue. You need humility because let me tell you,
- 22:20Speaker 2: these results are deceptive. Results are deceptive. Their flatter results
- 22:27Speaker 2: have the ability to peg your productivity at a level.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Failure can inspire you to get up and start again.
- 22:35Speaker 2: But you will be surprised to know the level of
- 22:38Speaker 2: impedence that your current result can pause to your advancing
- 22:44Speaker 2: someone shout, no way, humility. What is humility victory over
- 22:49Speaker 2: the pride of life. The pride of life is the
- 22:55Speaker 2: self glorification that comes on account of of your results.
- 23:00Speaker 2: If you don't have results, people will insult you for
- 23:02Speaker 2: being proud. But if you have results, it seems to
- 23:06Speaker 2: create some justification. Let me tell you this as anyone
- 23:11Speaker 2: who has lasted in the realm of success as your
- 23:15Speaker 2: pastor ask any man of God you know, they will
- 23:18Speaker 2: tell you the first skill you need to manage that
- 23:21Speaker 2: rem is a delicate rem. When you stand on that
- 23:25Speaker 2: platform of success is so slippery. If you are not
- 23:28Speaker 2: taught the act of standing there, you will fall. Can
- 23:32Speaker 2: I tell you look at this, Everybody watch me. If
- 23:35Speaker 2: I fall from here, the injury is minimal. But if
- 23:39Speaker 2: I fall from here, I most likely may lose my life.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Let me tell you what pride does.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Pride accelerates your rising in your mind so that your
- 23:49Speaker 2: fall will be very significant. The Bible says to not
- 23:53Speaker 2: exalt yourself more highly. Someone learning the skill that keeps
- 24:01Speaker 2: people to continue. Number one humility. The time will come
- 24:08Speaker 2: in your life where everything will be shouting your results
- 24:11Speaker 2: and it's not wrong.
- 24:16Speaker 1: What is humility?
- 24:17Speaker 2: The honor shamedness to acknowledge God as the basis for
- 24:22Speaker 2: all that you are and all that you do do you.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Know, the higher you.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Rise, the more inconveniencing it will be to step back
- 24:31Speaker 2: and allow Jesus to be seen.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Because like reverence, some was sharing.
- 24:36Speaker 2: You can imagine sharing his background and all of that,
- 24:39Speaker 2: and most of us.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Share similar stories.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Chances are excellent that when God begins to lift you,
- 24:45Speaker 2: there is a point to prove to naysayers. There is
- 24:48Speaker 2: a point to prove to those who vow that.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You will never rise.
- 24:52Speaker 2: There is a point to prove to people who are
- 24:54Speaker 2: expectantly waiting for your faull. So chances are excellent that
- 24:58Speaker 2: you get distracted proving that point, that you forget that
- 25:01Speaker 2: we only rise because there is a hand lifting us.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Someone learning humility.
- 25:08Speaker 2: James, Chapter four from the six James chapter four from
- 25:13Speaker 2: the six. Thank You Jesus, James, chapter four. But he
- 25:19Speaker 2: gives more grace. Therefore, he says, God resisted the proud,
- 25:26Speaker 2: but he gives grace to the humble. This is a
- 25:30Speaker 2: very powerful kingdom, mystery for continuity that I learned in
- 25:34Speaker 2: my own life, and I keep praying all the time
- 25:37Speaker 2: that God would grant me grace. Can I tell you
- 25:40Speaker 2: it takes a lot of effort and participation.
- 25:43Speaker 1: To remain humble. Don't mind people who say it's easy.
- 25:46Speaker 1: They if not. It's easy to be humble when you
- 25:48Speaker 1: have nothing.
- 25:59Speaker 2: When the names sing your praise, it will take intension
- 26:03Speaker 2: to remain humble.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yes, because there are number of us here that God
- 26:12Speaker 2: probably brought us to help us. You are already marking
- 26:15Speaker 2: time because your results. Thank God for the little you
- 26:19Speaker 2: are beginning to see, but not knowing that God wants
- 26:22Speaker 2: to measure a thousand cubits again. But pride is already
- 26:25Speaker 2: distracting you. Pride can flatter, Pride can distract. It's important
- 26:36Speaker 2: to receive the uploads of people, but you must know
- 26:39Speaker 2: when it has gone beyond its allowance, and by yourself
- 26:44Speaker 2: creates systems that manage it. Allelujah, this is very powerful humility.
- 26:53Speaker 2: You want to continue your stamini and your staying power
- 26:57Speaker 2: will be derived from your ability to be and to
- 27:01Speaker 2: remain humble.
- 27:02Speaker 1: This I have learned as anyone who has lasted.
- 27:07Speaker 2: In business, in ministry and all of that, you find
- 27:13Speaker 2: out that behind they're sustaining impact and results. It's a
- 27:20Speaker 2: life of humility. Now let me tell you what pride
- 27:24Speaker 2: is not. Pride does not mean when you acknowledge the
- 27:33Speaker 2: blessings of God and you subscribe to the blessings and
- 27:37Speaker 2: the privilege, the privileges that come at your level and as.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You are rising, that is not pride.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I need to say it is because medio casts call
- 27:45Speaker 2: anything higher than them pride. Anything higher than them, they
- 27:51Speaker 2: call it pride. So if I take water from this
- 27:55Speaker 2: bottle instead of cure water to somebody based on this level,
- 27:59Speaker 2: it is pride and his right to him. The only
- 28:02Speaker 2: problem is I'm not him away together. For someone maybe
- 28:06Speaker 2: flying a business class or flying a private jet, he
- 28:10Speaker 2: can call it pride, but it is relative to your
- 28:13Speaker 2: realm of achievement. It is relative to your realm of reality.
- 28:18Speaker 2: We have to balance this away together. Yes, as humble
- 28:28Speaker 2: as Jesus was an east, he was not the one
- 28:31Speaker 2: rocking the boat taking him to the other side. The
- 28:33Speaker 2: Bible said he was sleeping, justifiably so, because he's the
- 28:37Speaker 2: one doing the casting of the demons, He's the one
- 28:39Speaker 2: doing all of this that you guys do the other
- 28:41Speaker 2: work and let me rest. So we have to let
- 28:47Speaker 2: me tell you. Something will get there shortly. You have
- 28:50Speaker 2: to sustain the courage to conquer the emotional blackmail that
- 28:54Speaker 2: people bring when they do not find explanation as to
- 28:58Speaker 2: your growth. They will bring all of reasons and call
- 29:01Speaker 2: everything pride. If God has blessed you, resting the fact
- 29:06Speaker 2: that he has helped you, don't punish yourself in the
- 29:08Speaker 2: name of humility.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So I'm telling you what humility is.
- 29:12Speaker 2: There are some things that will never do. You will
- 29:14Speaker 2: not find me washing my clothes. It's a waste of
- 29:16Speaker 2: my time. It's not about there is. God has given
- 29:20Speaker 2: someone a vision to be a dry cleaner. He will
- 29:22Speaker 2: do it better. It will save my time. There is
- 29:25Speaker 2: no amount of preaching that will.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Make me go.
- 29:27Speaker 2: It's not that I cannot do it. My time means
- 29:31Speaker 2: a lot more, Iran, I invest that time in doing
- 29:34Speaker 2: something constructive.
- 29:37Speaker 1: A wait together now.
- 29:39Speaker 2: But it is fine and honest, for we have to
- 29:42Speaker 2: acknowledge the fact that pride destroys.
- 29:45Speaker 1: The danger with pride is not just that state.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Is the person who will fight you. The person who
- 29:51Speaker 2: fights you when you are proud is God. If the
- 29:56Speaker 2: devil fights you, you go to God to help you.
- 30:00Speaker 2: If God fights you, do you meet a man of
- 30:01Speaker 2: God to help you? What oil do you put on
- 30:04Speaker 2: your head to fight you? When God is the one
- 30:06Speaker 2: fighting made the Lord granted us grace to be humble
- 30:12Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus Christ.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Number two very quickly.
- 30:19Speaker 2: The stamina to continue comes from your ability to continue learning,
- 30:30Speaker 2: to continue learning, and to contend for improvement. We continue
- 30:40Speaker 2: in this kingdom, We continue our exploit we are sustained.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I think one of the facilitators you have made that statement.
- 30:48Speaker 1: To continue improving and to keep learning.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Today's excellence will certainly be tomorrow's mediocrity. And you have
- 30:58Speaker 2: to learn and rein yourself and grow and stretch. Let
- 31:02Speaker 2: me show you a scripture that really really pudged me
- 31:07Speaker 2: and gave me the ability to keep pressing as though
- 31:10Speaker 2: I did not know anything. First Corinthians eight and verse two.
- 31:14Speaker 2: First Corinthians eight and verse two. The second key we're
- 31:17Speaker 2: discussing is the passion to keep learning, the passion to
- 31:23Speaker 2: contend for learning and improvement.
- 31:26Speaker 1: First Corinthians eight and verse two.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Please read with me if you can see it ready
- 31:30Speaker 2: read if anyone thinks.
- 31:33Speaker 1: That he knows anything.
- 31:36Speaker 2: He says he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You know, masters and champions by their passion to learn more.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Thank God for the things I know. But God must
- 31:51Speaker 2: grant you the grace to know how to learn what
- 31:53Speaker 2: you don't know. It's a grace that must be given
- 31:57Speaker 2: to you from God to pursue knowledge, strategic knowledge in
- 32:03Speaker 2: areas where you do not know.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Let me give you.
- 32:05Speaker 2: An instance for instance, for those of you who are ministry,
- 32:13Speaker 2: ministry in the North teaches you a lot about morality
- 32:17Speaker 2: and character, but it does not teach you so much about.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Structure and administration.
- 32:24Speaker 2: In fact, most Pentecostal circles do not.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Understand structure and administration.
- 32:30Speaker 2: They understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit and impact,
- 32:34Speaker 2: but most pentic Costal.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Charismatics do not last because they are not.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Mentor to understand the power of systems and structures. That's
- 32:44Speaker 2: why you find ministries like the Anglican Catholic Church and
- 32:48Speaker 2: all of these Orthodox circles that sometimes we laugh at.
- 32:51Speaker 2: They may not be as impactful as we want from
- 32:55Speaker 2: a spiritual standpoint, respectfully speaking now, but I can tell
- 32:58Speaker 2: you their structure will no individual failure or success can
- 33:03Speaker 2: destroy the structure.
- 33:05Speaker 1: The structure is greater than any individual.
- 33:07Speaker 2: But in Pentecostal and charismatic circles, even one person's mistake
- 33:12Speaker 2: can tild.
- 33:14Speaker 1: The ministry for many years. The ministry is a meshrest
- 33:18Speaker 1: reflection of the individual is.
- 33:20Speaker 2: If he improves, you will see, if he backs likes,
- 33:23Speaker 2: you will see. So I made up my mind that
- 33:27Speaker 2: in addition to learning and understanding the ministry of the
- 33:31Speaker 2: Holy Spirit and other things, I would have to submit
- 33:34Speaker 2: myself to understand administration, to understand structure if I truly
- 33:40Speaker 2: desire to last. And let me tell you, this is
- 33:46Speaker 2: an area in life and ministry that does not come free.
- 33:50Speaker 2: You will pay for it, which humility, You will pay
- 33:52Speaker 2: for it financially.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It will think your ego. You will have to sit
- 33:56Speaker 1: down and start learning afresh.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Maybe this is already word for someone you are wondering
- 34:02Speaker 2: why you cannot expand beyond a certain limit, even though
- 34:06Speaker 2: you know that intrinsically you have the value to offer.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Your structure is as powerful as your gift. Because a
- 34:15Speaker 2: great oil in a small vessel will still not solve
- 34:20Speaker 2: it says borrow vessels, borrow not a few, so that
- 34:23Speaker 2: the gift that is within.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Can find expression.
- 34:27Speaker 2: You must commit yourself to strategic learning. In Genesis, chapter
- 34:32Speaker 2: one and verse sixteen, the Bible says that God made
- 34:36Speaker 2: two great lights.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Please say two great lights.
- 34:39Speaker 2: It says one to rule the day and the other
- 34:42Speaker 2: to rule the night. Then it says he made the stars. Also,
- 34:48Speaker 2: he made two great lights. You must contend for knowledge.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Please let me challenge every one.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Of us, especially those of us who God has helped
- 34:57Speaker 1: by his messy. I was very humbled and taught.
- 35:00Speaker 2: When you know, Reverend sam was just mentioning the things
- 35:03Speaker 2: that it does, you know, just coming and sneaking into Coinonia.
- 35:06Speaker 1: We're discussing that earlier on in his office.
- 35:09Speaker 2: It takes a lot of humility for that to happen.
- 35:12Speaker 2: But you see, let me tell you this, never get
- 35:15Speaker 2: embarrassed when it has to do with knowledge. When I
- 35:19Speaker 2: came and I sat down here, the few minutes that
- 35:22Speaker 2: I spent, you can't imagine.
- 35:23Speaker 1: The things that I learned just listening to them.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And as you was telling me, this man is this,
- 35:29Speaker 2: This man is that. When I sit before people who
- 35:32Speaker 2: know what I do not know, I don't contribute.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I learned for many of you.
- 35:39Speaker 2: You contribute even in the midst of ignorance, when it
- 35:42Speaker 2: is very clear that you have no idea, there's no
- 35:46Speaker 2: result to show. Don't feel this is training. I told you,
- 35:49Speaker 2: I told you earlier on. This is training. Don't feel embarrassed.
- 35:54Speaker 2: You most discipline yourself to keep quiet when you don't
- 35:57Speaker 2: know is sheep had than embarrassed in yourself and recycling
- 36:01Speaker 2: your pain and ignorance. Again and again, someone saying knowledge,
- 36:09Speaker 2: Can I tell you this?
- 36:11Speaker 1: Any kind of knowledge will not bless you.
- 36:14Speaker 2: It has to be specific to the area of darkness.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You must be able to write the areas of ignorance
- 36:21Speaker 2: in your life.
- 36:22Speaker 1: How do you know the areas of.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Ignorance by the absence of results? Darkness is a clue
- 36:27Speaker 2: that you need lights there. Thank God for darkness, because
- 36:31Speaker 2: without darkness you cannot know where lights you go away
- 36:37Speaker 2: together examining the areas of darkness in your life. I
- 36:43Speaker 2: may be doing well in ministry, but what of your finances.
- 36:47Speaker 2: You find out that this finance thing is it doesn't
- 36:50Speaker 2: seem to open up. You are not the first to
- 36:53Speaker 2: do ministry. You're not the first to do business. Find out,
- 36:56Speaker 2: Can I tell you here is the formula?
- 36:58Speaker 1: Go to them that sell and buy.
- 37:02Speaker 2: God will never never leave his church without people that sell.
- 37:07Speaker 2: I'm not just speaking with respect to ministry alone.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Everything you are.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Looking for, there are those who have it, and there
- 37:14Speaker 2: are those.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Who have it enough to sell it.
- 37:18Speaker 2: The only thing is that you don't buy it with money.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Let me tell the currency you used to buy from
- 37:23Speaker 2: them that sell. Humility, meekness, endure hands. You have to
- 37:29Speaker 2: endure their personalities to receive that which God has given them.
- 37:33Speaker 2: You cannot want to be taught at your own terms.
- 37:36Speaker 2: A students does not learn at his own terms, that's
- 37:39Speaker 2: a lazy students who will.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Not go far. Adaptation is proof of honor.
- 37:44Speaker 2: You have to endure a lot when you are determined
- 37:48Speaker 2: to learn, especially from people who have results. If you
- 37:53Speaker 2: are Elijah, and your Elijah's temper and learn what.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It takes to succeed in the prophetic.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Because although he is a temperous man, he still is
- 38:04Speaker 2: the one carrying the annointing.
- 38:07Speaker 1: And you would think because of his temper, God would
- 38:09Speaker 1: take away the annointing.
- 38:10Speaker 2: You enjoy it. It's amazing how God works, isn't it?
- 38:17Speaker 1: Yes?
- 38:19Speaker 2: Are we learning? This is very powerful? Many people want
- 38:24Speaker 2: to learn, They want to.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Grow, but they desire to be spoon set. Bring it
- 38:29Speaker 1: to me. I won't pursue, just bring it. Let me
- 38:32Speaker 1: tell you this. The proof of passion is pursued.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Every time you are passionate about something, you stand up
- 38:39Speaker 2: and go and look for the answer. Why is this
- 38:41Speaker 2: thing not working? Why is ministry not working? Why is
- 38:45Speaker 2: business not working? Through desire Prohabs eighteen nuvers one. A
- 38:52Speaker 2: man haven't separated himself. The Bible says his secret and
- 38:57Speaker 2: intermedlate with all wisdom. There are routines of learning that
- 39:02Speaker 2: I must honor every day or the white sleep, no
- 39:06Speaker 2: matter how tired I am. As a covenant of knowledge,
- 39:13Speaker 2: I will not go to bed until and on less.
- 39:16Speaker 2: And there is no excuse. A covenant is a non
- 39:20Speaker 2: emotional binding. Listen, you intend to grow, and you challenge yourself,
- 39:26Speaker 2: looking at the weather, waiting, looking at your.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Appetite and all of that.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Notwithstanding, there are times I return late and tired, but
- 39:34Speaker 2: I know I am bound by this covenant of growth.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I went up by revelation, and you see the higher
- 39:45Speaker 1: you rise.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Just like Pasor was saying, many people begin to depend
- 39:50Speaker 2: on your continuity. When you are it becomes wickedness at
- 39:54Speaker 2: a certain level to plateau, because now you are not
- 39:57Speaker 2: living for yourself alone. So many people are the inspiration.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Someone is depending on your message to find the tramon
- 40:04Speaker 2: for his own charge. Someone is depending on your dexterity
- 40:09Speaker 2: in your business.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Preachers are depending on how good you want.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Your fashion, So we dress well, don't backslide for our sake.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Are you learning now?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yes, the passion to learn. That's why I submit to you.
- 40:31Speaker 2: And I do this with every sense of respect and responsibility.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Many preachers are lazy, I repeat, many preachers are lazy
- 40:41Speaker 2: five minutes Bible study, casuals stumbling into a video. Oh
- 40:46Speaker 2: it's two minutes, let me listen to it. You don't
- 40:48Speaker 2: command power and command.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Influence that way.
- 40:52Speaker 2: It takes intention and aggression. Don't pity your mind when
- 40:56Speaker 2: it has to do with growth. Your mind is not tired.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Give it the information that it will use to create
- 41:02Speaker 2: your reality.
- 41:09Speaker 1: By the truth it says, sell it not.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Please, Let's obtain grace from God to be disciplined.
- 41:18Speaker 1: God is not a habilist.
- 41:20Speaker 2: He will not commit certain levels of graces and anointings.
- 41:24Speaker 2: You know, and sometimes I say this with every sense
- 41:26Speaker 2: of humility. When people see some of the things that
- 41:29Speaker 2: God is doing. They just think all that is making
- 41:32Speaker 2: it happen is just the anointing and just luck. He
- 41:43Speaker 2: that strives for mastery is not crowned unless he strives lawfully.
- 41:51Speaker 2: No body wins the Olympic by mistake. You can get
- 41:55Speaker 2: to the field by mistake. Please hear what I'm telling you.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It takes intention. And let me tell you something. With knowledge,
- 42:01Speaker 2: when you have it, you have gotten it.
- 42:04Speaker 1: You don't share a dan. You can lay hold on
- 42:08Speaker 1: this truth.
- 42:11Speaker 2: I submit to you that knowledge drives fear. Here is
- 42:16Speaker 2: derived from ignorance. Here is derived from ignorance. Are you
- 42:24Speaker 2: get to what I'm saying?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Now? This is very important.
- 42:26Speaker 2: You must obtain grace from God with passion and with intention.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Obtain grace from God to go for knowledge? Continuous learning,
- 42:38Speaker 2: continuous learning, continuous learning. First Demote Chapter four from verse
- 42:44Speaker 2: fifteen and sixteen.
- 42:46Speaker 1: First Temotive four fifteen and sixteen.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Very quickly, First Timotive four fifteen and sixteen. First Deemote
- 42:58Speaker 2: Chapter four from verse fifteen and sixteen.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Do not forget what we're teaching.
- 43:04Speaker 2: It says, meditate on these things, give yourself entirely or
- 43:10Speaker 2: holy to them, that your progress may.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Be evident to all. Meditate on these things.
- 43:21Speaker 2: King James says, give yourself holy to them that thy
- 43:25Speaker 2: profiting may appear onto all. There is a relationship between
- 43:31Speaker 2: lack of study and shame.
- 43:33Speaker 1: It says study to show yourself approved onto God.
- 43:36Speaker 2: A workman that needed not to be ashamed. Someone needs
- 43:44Speaker 2: to be inspired this afternoon. I'm tired of celebrating and
- 43:48Speaker 2: recycling ignorance.
- 43:51Speaker 1: It's time for me to rise to a higher level.
- 43:54Speaker 2: You have to outsource intelligence and information beyond your current horizon.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Can I tell you if you celebrate mediocrity, a time
- 44:04Speaker 2: will come all the people that follow you will.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Have nothing to learn from you.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Again, there is a level of leadership call leadership by results.
- 44:15Speaker 2: People will not follow you indefinitely. The dexterity of your results,
- 44:20Speaker 2: which is a testament of your knowledge, has to be
- 44:23Speaker 2: what would drive people to keep following you. Someone say knowledge.
- 44:28Speaker 2: You have to commit to continuous development continuous learning number
- 44:34Speaker 2: three very quickly. This is a very powerful one. What
- 44:42Speaker 2: is the third key? To continue and to remain? You
- 44:47Speaker 2: must build systems and structures that protect your focus and
- 44:53Speaker 2: protect your values. You must build systems and structures that
- 45:00Speaker 2: protect your focus and protect your values, systems and structures,
- 45:12Speaker 2: because when you begin to command results, when you begin
- 45:17Speaker 2: to advance producing notable results, listen very carefully. There are
- 45:21Speaker 2: many things that begin to happen around your life, destructions, challenges, persecutions, etc.
- 45:31Speaker 1: But one of the things that happened.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Listen, when you begin to succeed, there are many legitimate
- 45:39Speaker 2: things that will come into your life and your space,
- 45:42Speaker 2: and it can be distracting.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You have to.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Create systems and structures to manage important things that can
- 45:50Speaker 2: distract you. At chapter six, something began to happen when
- 45:55Speaker 2: the early Trots started advancing. Under Day of Pentecosts, three
- 46:00Speaker 2: thousand people were saved, and then they kept having people.
- 46:03Speaker 2: The church was growing, multiplying great results.
- 46:06Speaker 1: And wa'ts what happened now in those days?
- 46:10Speaker 2: What days, those days of advancement, those days of exploits.
- 46:14Speaker 1: The Bible says, when.
- 46:15Speaker 2: The number of the disciples was what multiplication has a serious.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Effect most of you. Your prayer for increase is.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Not answered because the structure to manage the things that
- 46:29Speaker 2: come when increase comes is not there.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 46:35Speaker 2: In those days when the number of the disciples was multiplying,
- 46:41Speaker 2: the Bible says, there.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Arose a complain.
- 46:45Speaker 2: There will always be conflict, There will always be issues
- 46:48Speaker 2: that will arise, legitimate issues that require your intelligence, and
- 46:53Speaker 2: before you know it, you will be distracted from what
- 46:56Speaker 2: brought you to that level.
- 47:00Speaker 1: There arose a complain against the Hebrews.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Please go to KJV so that we can understand. Now
- 47:07Speaker 2: the Bible says that the Gristians and the Hebrews now
- 47:11Speaker 2: started having issues. Why because there are widows were neglected
- 47:15Speaker 2: in the daily administration, So now they were blessed enough
- 47:20Speaker 2: to even minister to widows.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Verse two.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Were reading to verse four. Then the twelve called the
- 47:28Speaker 2: multitude of the disciples. That means the twelfth where now
- 47:31Speaker 2: not the only disciples. They had raised other disciples, structure
- 47:37Speaker 2: and systems they raised. Okay, they call the multitudes of
- 47:41Speaker 2: the disciples onto them and said, now here this carefully.
- 47:45Speaker 1: It is not reason that we should leave.
- 47:48Speaker 2: The world of God and save tables. My question is
- 47:51Speaker 2: is serving tables wrong? Remember that's how they started. They
- 47:55Speaker 2: started by serving tables. Now the responsibility upon them. They
- 48:00Speaker 2: cannot combine the ministry of the world and serving tables.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Listen carefully, the twelve call the multitude of the disciples
- 48:10Speaker 2: unto them, and said, it is not reason that we
- 48:14Speaker 2: should leave the world of God and served tables verse three. Wherefore, brethren,
- 48:23Speaker 2: look ye out among you, seven men of honest reports,
- 48:28Speaker 2: full of the Holy goosts and wisdom. Can you see
- 48:32Speaker 2: the condition to salve tables in the any church? This
- 48:35Speaker 2: is the condition for ministry in our day. And yet
- 48:38Speaker 2: this was what they needed to go through to be
- 48:41Speaker 2: qualified to save tables full of the Holy goosts and wisdom,
- 48:47Speaker 2: whom we may appoint over this business.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Read verse four. Together, let's reading concerts. Are you ready
- 48:54Speaker 1: one to read?
- 48:55Speaker 2: But we will give ourselves continually to and the ministry
- 49:02Speaker 2: of the world. The third key you must create systems
- 49:08Speaker 2: and structures that protect your focus and your values. Increase
- 49:15Speaker 2: comes with a plectora of side effects. One of it
- 49:18Speaker 2: is distraction from your vision. And let me tell you this.
- 49:23Speaker 2: We must obtain grace from God because most leaders have
- 49:26Speaker 2: trust issues, and legitimately so, if you have survived in
- 49:31Speaker 2: any organization in ministry of business for a while, I'm
- 49:34Speaker 2: sure your have would have been battered by the reality
- 49:37Speaker 2: of the human nature. And chances are excellent that when
- 49:40Speaker 2: you go through several disappointments, it becomes difficult to trust people.
- 49:44Speaker 2: This is where distraction comes from. The man of God.
- 49:47Speaker 2: The business man wants to do everything. You have five
- 49:50Speaker 2: outlets of your business. You want to manage everything by yourself.
- 49:54Speaker 2: You don't know that you are growing older. You don't
- 49:56Speaker 2: know that you may not be able to have that
- 49:58Speaker 2: capacity to stand. But we will give ourselves continually. There
- 50:07Speaker 2: are many people who started as ministers of the gospel
- 50:10Speaker 2: and right now have become administrators. They are concerned about
- 50:16Speaker 2: the details of the finances. Legitimately so details of this
- 50:21Speaker 2: and that, and the colon ministry from whence the grace came.
- 50:26Speaker 1: That announced them they have left it.
- 50:32Speaker 2: There are many things that I don't put my hands
- 50:36Speaker 2: into so that I can focus on this.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Many of you right now, I will tell you where.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Your spiritual fatigue is coming from. There are certain levels,
- 50:45Speaker 2: There are certain duties that are for the people you
- 50:48Speaker 2: have raised, not you again, to create systems and structures
- 50:56Speaker 2: that protect your focus and protect your vision. Closely related
- 51:04Speaker 2: to this, I wish I had all the time. When
- 51:07Speaker 2: God begins to lift you, beware of the people who
- 51:12Speaker 2: come in the spirit and power of the young girl.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Who came to meet the apostles.
- 51:18Speaker 2: They come with strange spirits, not necessarily demonic spirits. A
- 51:22Speaker 2: strange spirit means one that is inconsistent with your vision
- 51:26Speaker 2: and the pattern given to you. You must have the
- 51:28Speaker 2: courage to drive good people from your life. Just because
- 51:32Speaker 2: they are good does not mean they're useful. There are
- 51:35Speaker 2: unnecessary baggages we carry because of emotions.
- 51:39Speaker 1: There are many good people who.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Cannot enter certain seasons in your life. As every leader here,
- 51:45Speaker 2: they will tell you there is a height a plane
- 51:49Speaker 2: cannot yet to wen. The Lord is so much the lighter,
- 51:53Speaker 2: the high eight flies. You need to decongest your life
- 51:57Speaker 2: and unclog your life by and with so many things.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Let me tell you, for many of us, we don't
- 52:02Speaker 2: have the courage to be controversial. Unfortunately, it is a
- 52:07Speaker 2: requirement to remain. If you are too scared of being controversial,
- 52:11Speaker 2: forget about.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Leading the field.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Are were blessed systems and structures that protect your focus,
- 52:23Speaker 2: protect your vision. One time I had a group of
- 52:28Speaker 2: people and they just said they were coming to my house.
- 52:32Speaker 2: They wanted to come and give an award. I've heard
- 52:34Speaker 2: about them. They're very treacherous people. When I heard about them,
- 52:38Speaker 2: they said, oh, they're coming. I said, no, no, I appreciate them.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Please carry your award and leave me. I know exactly
- 52:43Speaker 2: what they are looking for. They prey on reputations. Anything
- 52:47Speaker 2: that looks like a ladder, they climb on it. Let
- 52:50Speaker 2: me tell you, beware of many good things.
- 52:54Speaker 1: When the devil knows you are conscious of evil, you
- 52:56Speaker 1: will use good and destroy you.
- 52:58Speaker 2: That three was called the three of the knowledge of
- 53:01Speaker 2: good and evil. But the good day and the evil
- 53:05Speaker 2: can still do the same thing. There are many good
- 53:08Speaker 2: things you have to say no to to honor your pursuits.
- 53:16Speaker 2: I'm sorry to use this expression, but believers prostitute themselves
- 53:20Speaker 2: to anything that looks like it can be an addition.
- 53:23Speaker 2: And let me tell you, when you move like.
- 53:26Speaker 1: That, you will not be able to grow.
- 53:31Speaker 2: All things are lowful, but not all things are expedients.
- 53:37Speaker 2: The discipline of being consistent. This is what God has
- 53:40Speaker 2: called me to do. I focus on it with determination
- 53:45Speaker 2: away together.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Your pastor wakes up every morning to.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Lead several people to pray. You know the discipline it
- 53:53Speaker 2: takes to do that. It's more than grace. It takes discipline,
- 53:57Speaker 2: your mind, your lamp clock, your discipline, the vision that
- 54:01Speaker 2: is before you. There are times where you literally have
- 54:05Speaker 2: to carry yourself up. There are times have traveled where
- 54:11Speaker 2: my sleep will be in the plane. The only thing
- 54:13Speaker 2: I know is that we lifted is when we're landing.
- 54:16Speaker 2: And sometimes I'm sleeping and sleeping, and maybe the person
- 54:19Speaker 2: close to me is just looking at me, and I'm
- 54:20Speaker 2: showing their mind. We say, at this man, you are
- 54:23Speaker 2: not an old man? Why are you sleeping like this?
- 54:25Speaker 2: Depends on what you are carrying. If you are carrying
- 54:30Speaker 2: a cap, you can.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Leave it there and even be shaking your head.
- 54:33Speaker 2: But if what you are carrying is something that fees nations,
- 54:36Speaker 2: sometimes you will need to rest. There are many good
- 54:41Speaker 2: things we need to prone in our lives right now.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Leave the evil things you've overcome that. Let's talk about
- 54:48Speaker 2: good things that.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Are not profitable groups, associations. Be careful. Be careful.
- 54:57Speaker 2: Champions are champions because they minimize your lives to the
- 55:00Speaker 2: necessary so that it can sharpen your focus.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 55:09Speaker 2: There are things you need to start delegating people to do.
- 55:12Speaker 2: If God trusted you, while you are changing trust orders
- 55:15Speaker 2: to it's better for them to fail in your presence.
- 55:18Speaker 1: You can correct them than to out of fear.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Allow the work to become terrible because you are protecting
- 55:24Speaker 2: your reputation. It's better for your sons and daughters to.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Make the mistake while you are alive.
- 55:29Speaker 2: See them, rebuke them, cover, correct, correct again until they
- 55:33Speaker 2: let Jesus did not wait for perfection before giving us
- 55:38Speaker 2: the holygoes He centers. We keep metamorphosing on the job.
- 55:42Speaker 2: You must have the courage to trust people of cours.
- 55:45Speaker 2: You don't know what happened, all right, Sorry, I understand now,
- 55:48Speaker 2: but you have to summon the courage, delegate some things,
- 55:52Speaker 2: and unclog your life so that your focus can be
- 55:55Speaker 2: with precision. This is one of the reasons why we
- 55:59Speaker 2: have to pray that God will send strong financial help us.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Because you know, sir, everybody here will agree with me
- 56:06Speaker 2: that one of the most distracting things when you now
- 56:09Speaker 2: start rising and building structures is this renouncing we will
- 56:15Speaker 2: not leave the ministry of the world and come to
- 56:18Speaker 2: be summon tables.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Allelujah.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Let me do a quick recap, then I'll talk about
- 56:28Speaker 2: the last one. Number one, humility. The stamina to continue
- 56:33Speaker 2: is derived from a life of humility. Number two continuous
- 56:37Speaker 2: learning and improvement. Number three building systems and structures that
- 56:43Speaker 2: protect your focus and your values.
- 56:48Speaker 1: This is very important. First Corinthians, chapter three.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Will read it from verse nine to thirteen very quickly,
- 56:54Speaker 2: and then the last point, and we're done. Second Corinthians,
- 56:59Speaker 2: chapter three. From verse nine, it says, for we are
- 57:04Speaker 2: labor us together with God. Second Corinthians, not Chronicles. First Corinthians.
- 57:11Speaker 2: I meant to say my apologies. First Corinthians three from
- 57:14Speaker 2: verse nine. First Corinthians three, from verse nine, for we
- 57:23Speaker 2: are laborers together with God. Ye are God's hustboundry. You
- 57:27Speaker 2: are God's building. Verse ten. We're reading to thirteen. Verse ten.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Now it says, according to the grace of God, which
- 57:35Speaker 2: is given to me as a wise master builder, I
- 57:39Speaker 2: have laid the foundation, and another builder thereon.
- 57:43Speaker 1: It says, but let every.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Man take heed how he builded thereon verse eleven, for
- 57:52Speaker 2: other foundations can no man lay than that is laid,
- 57:57Speaker 2: he said, which is Christ Jesus. Reading to thirteen, verse
- 57:59Speaker 2: t wealth. Now it says, now if any man build
- 58:04Speaker 2: upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay stubble,
- 58:11Speaker 2: last verse, every man's work shall be made manifest. And
- 58:16Speaker 2: it says, for the day shall declaree because it shall
- 58:19Speaker 2: be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every
- 58:24Speaker 2: man's work of what sort? It is.
- 58:28Speaker 1: The fire that comes from men.
- 58:31Speaker 2: The fire that comes from the vicissitudes of life. It
- 58:34Speaker 2: would try your ministry. I guarantee you it would try
- 58:38Speaker 2: your business. But it is the house that is built
- 58:41Speaker 2: on a rock that stands. May everything you are involved
- 58:44Speaker 2: with stand in the name of Jesus Christ. Write the
- 58:50Speaker 2: various things that take your time and find out which
- 58:54Speaker 2: of them you can begin to raise people around you.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Listen.
- 58:56Speaker 2: If you are a leader at a certain level and
- 58:59Speaker 2: you've not raised is anybody around you, It means you
- 59:02Speaker 2: are doing something wrong.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Everybody cannot be wrong.
- 59:06Speaker 2: There has to be someone that trusts you and believes
- 59:09Speaker 2: you enough for you to be able to replicate.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Yourself in them.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Number four, the power to continue, the power to remain
- 59:22Speaker 2: is derived from the ministry of prayer and intercession.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Prayer and intercession. Prayer and intercession.
- 59:33Speaker 2: In addition to put in systems and structures that protect
- 59:38Speaker 2: your focus and protect your values, you must engage strategically
- 59:46Speaker 2: in the ministry of prayer and intercession. Look chapter five
- 59:51Speaker 2: from verse fifteen. Look chapter five from verse fifteen. Will
- 59:56Speaker 2: read fifteen and sixteen. Look chapter five. Now look at
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: this story, very interesting story about Jesus. The Bible says,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: but so much the more when they're a same abroad
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: of him, and great multitudes came together to hear and
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: to be healed of him. Now this was a celebrity
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: making progress. The Bible says, his same had gone abroad,
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: great multitudes came together.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: To hear and to be healed.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Next verse, the Bible says, in verse sixteen, and he
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: will do himself in the midst of the multitudes, in
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: the midst of the glamor, in the midst of the wonderful.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Things that happened.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: He we drew himself into the wilderness, and the Bible says,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: and prayed, he will drew himself and prayed, Please, let's
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: rise and honor our fathers. Is that the best you
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: can do?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Allelujah, most welcome, sir, Thank you. A man away together,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: So the Bible says. Let's go to verse fifteen again
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: to put it in context.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: It says, but so much the more went a fame
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: abroad of him, and great multitudes.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Came together to hear and to be healed.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Of him, making progress already.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: And yet the Bible says, he had the stamina and
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the wisdom verse sixteen.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: The Bible now says he withdrew himself. The Bible didn't
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: say he went to pray.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: He withdrew himself.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: It took effort and intention, knowing that this is the
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: secret that brought me thus far, and even in the
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: midst of the.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Fame and the glamor, it would take energy.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: He with you himself into the wilderness and prayed prayer
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: and intercession. Second Thessalonians, chapter three, from verse one and two.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: When you get to certain levels of growth, you have
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: to pray.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Is a brethren pray for us?
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Second Thessalonians, chapter three, from verse one and two. This
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: must be the prayer of every great man, because the
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: moment Isaac begins to be great, the phillies times will come.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: They will envy what you represent. And it has nothing
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: to do with whether you are good or bad. Is
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: the side effect of consistency, the Bible says. Finally, brethren,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: pray for us. Why Number One, that the world of
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: God may have free cause and be glorified even as
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: it is with you. Number two. The second reason is
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men nehemia.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: If you are building Sambalat and Tobias will come. You
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: don't have to call them. Your results has a voice.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: It does not just call those who need it. It
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: calls naysayers. It would call any kind of person, and
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: that we may be delivered. That means they can have
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: an effect on you if you don't pray. Most people
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: down play what the devil can do using men and
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: systems and structures to sabottach the purposes of God in
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: your life. He said in spec a parable to the
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: end that men ought always to pray. Don't you think,
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: as a man of God, that you are going around
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: bringing deliverance, setting people free by the power of God's word,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: and the devil will fold his arms and watch you.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Not even Jesus was pared say and come back to me,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: he said.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: When he left.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Jesus after the temptation, the Bible says he left him
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: for a He went to restrategize. Because weapons are fashioned.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: They don't just come, he said.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: No.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Weapond fashion to fashion, and weapon requires study. It has
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: to study what have you left in your training that
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: becomes the weapon that is used. If you neglect that
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: finances as you are learning ministry, the weapon will be
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: fashioned after that lapse.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: It was where God liar did not cover. That was
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: where David used to bring him down.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: That we may be delivered from or reasonable and wicked men.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: And he leaves you with an information all men, including
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: the ones in your church, including the ones everywhere the
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: moment you have the multitude, He says, have this.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: At the back of your mind, that all men have
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: not faith.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Even if you preach on rupture every day, there are
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: people who do not have saved. Their hats have been
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: seared with hot iron. There will be easy praise for
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: the devil to use. Men of God must pray. Business
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: people must pray because you are ministry.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Are we blessed? Last Scripture? And then will pray.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Matthew Chapter twenty six, from verse thirty nine Matthew twenty.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Six and verse thirty nine.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Jesus is teaching here Matthew twenty six. The Bible says
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: he went a little forther Jesus.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Now and fell on his face.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: And prayed, saying, Oh, my Father, if it be possible,
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: let this call pass from me. Nevertheless, not as I will,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: but as Thou willed Verse forty and he comment to
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: the disciples, and he found them asleep and say it
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: on to them. What could ye not watch with me
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: one hour forty one watch and pray?
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: He said that ye enter not into temptation.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: The spirit, indeed, is willing, ever willing, it says, but
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: the flesh is weak.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: Watch and pray, Watch and pray, Watch and pray, Watch
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: and pray.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: When you start your journey, it's easy to keep going
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: on him that. But when you get to a certain
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: height and a certain level, the Philistines will come, I
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: assure you. The Bible says, the philistines came, and.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: They envied him.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: They envied him on account of the brightness of his rising.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Let's wrap up with that scripture, Genesis twenty six thirteen
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: to sixteen. It's one thing to start, but it takes
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: and not that kind of dynamics to continue. And the
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: man began to prosper, That is a level. And he
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: cont he knewed.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Prospering until he became, until he became, until he became.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: The man began to prosper until he became that epitomy
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: of prosperity, And the Bible says verse fourteen.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Now he had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: a great number of servants. And it did not just
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: end there. There were also other things that he had
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: that he didn't have before, the troubles that come from
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: the Philistines. The Philistines envied him, they sent.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Him, and they said, leave us, for you are mightier
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: than we.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Your success will always create a reaction in the realm
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: of the spirit, and Satan will use men and systems
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: and structures. But the Bible says, now, thanks be to God,
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: which causes.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Us always to triumph.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Always, thanks be to God, which causes us always to triumph.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: My charge towards this afternoon, as I wrap up, is
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: that it is not enough to start.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Many of us here have done well.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: We have started ministries, we've started businesses, we started several
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: things that we work in keeping with these keys. God
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: is not only the beginning, He is also the end.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: It takes grace to continue, the grace for humility, the
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: grace for continuous learning and development, allelujah, the grace for
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: creating systems and structures that protect your focus and protect
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: your vision, and finally, the power of prayer and intercession.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: You hold these keys as the keys of the kingdom,
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: and with them you will be able to remain that
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: even when everything has shaken and everything is moving heywire,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: at the end of it, you will still stand because
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: you are building on a rock. Are were blessed whilst
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: you are seated. I want you to pray in one
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: minute and ask the Lord to grant you the grace.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: It says, now that you.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Know these things, happy are you if you do them?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Now that you know these things, happy are you if
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: you do them? It is not just the hearers that receive,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: but those who hear and do. Is someone praying, Let
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: it be from the depth of your heart. You are
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: crying out to God.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Lord.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I desire to remain producing results in spite of the sambalads,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: the tobiases. I desire to remain in spite of the philistines.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: I obtain grace that I will advance and I will
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: continue now that I have begun, Grant me the grace
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: to continue. That my results will be sustained decades from now.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: It will be sustained by engaging the truth of the Kingdom.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Someone is receiving grace, and pray and say, Lord, by
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: the privilege of the graces here, including the grace of
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: our Father that will be coming shortly that you open
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: up your spirit and say, there is no excuse for remaining.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: At this level.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Let it come as a prophetic push that will shift
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: us into new levels and new dimensions.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: The Bible says, go to them that sell and buy.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: There are those who
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Sell, and you buy with humility, You buy with meekness,
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: You buy with humbleness of heart.
