- 0:13relationship. Advice.

- 1:18her socials weights in the bottom.
- 1:20But yeah, subscribe hit the like button notification button so
- 1:23that you can. Leave a comment because yeah.
- 1:25Comments. Oh man, 100% I need to calm
- 1:29down. Too much coffee?
- 1:30Yeah. Relax.
- 1:32Bro well I don't like talking about our relationship advice.
- 1:35Anyway, so you could try it the biggest I think, Yeah, yes.
- 1:41Let me see what you have to say. I feel like the biggest thing
- 1:44that we do well is we communicate pretty well.
- 1:49It may be loud sometimes. I had to tell you, be quiet on
- 1:53our walk this. Morning.
- 1:54That's what I'm saying be. Quiet people are around.
- 1:56Be quiet. But we talk about everything,
- 1:58right? So I think that's part of The
- 2:00thing is that we don't really have secrets.
- 2:02There's no like, oh, I didn't, I told my girlfriend and I didn't
- 2:05tell him. We don't really.
- 2:07I don't, I don't have any of those.
- 2:09And I don't think you have any girlfriends to tell.
- 2:12Well try and say I don't have any game.
- 2:14No, I'm just saying, Do you have any gay girlfriends that you
- 2:16talk to? Gay girlfriends.
- 2:18Or I mean, so your one girl, your one friend that's a girl is
- 2:22also friends with me. So that one doesn't count.
- 2:25Because I'm pretty sure you're not telling her.
- 2:26Well, don't tell Lisa, just like I don't tell her not to tell you
- 2:30because we all spend so much time together.
- 2:32But you have to be. But I feel like, I feel like we
- 2:37do that well. I feel like that's part of what
- 2:40our rapport is, part of why we've still been able to make it
- 2:4432 years. Yes, there is a lot of
- 2:46communication, right. There has to be, obviously,
- 2:48especially in this line of business.
- 2:50Well, yeah. Especially in this lot of work
- 2:51and the fact that we work together, you know, we've done
- 2:53all this together. Like all of those things come
- 2:57together. And if you don't, if you can't
- 2:59communicate about it, it's hard, right?
- 3:03So see, I think that's pretty good one.
- 3:04Well. It's all over, right?
- 3:06Goodbye. See you next time.
- 3:07What? What would you say we do well?
- 3:09Why? We've been together for 32
- 3:11years. We sleep in different bedrooms.
- 3:14That's true. And I know people think that's
- 3:15weird because as of, you know, last episode we talked about
- 3:20getting it on in the middle of a room with other people around
- 3:22and nobody knowing because it was the middle of the night.
- 3:26So that's true. It's nice to have your own space
- 3:29it not be in each other's face. Because we work, so we both work
- 3:33from home, right, regular jobs and such things.
- 3:35And and so we're always on top of each other.
- 3:38And when you're always that sounded.
- 3:40Yeah, hey. We're in each.
- 3:43Other we're in each other's space and so if you don't get a
- 3:46good night's sleep, I can tell you if you're not sleeping well,
- 3:50you are going to be angry the next day because you're tired.
- 3:53It just happens. It is what it is.
- 3:55And so a long time ago because I snore and he has a different
- 3:58sleep pattern. You used to snore.
- 4:00You don't. That's true anymore.
- 4:01I. Don't snore anymore, You're
- 4:02right. That was when you were really
- 4:04getting up there. But you look good now.
- 4:08Thanks. See, I gave her a compliment.
- 4:09Give compliments. Compliments those backhanded
- 4:12compliments, but but compliments none.
- 4:14Hey I. Will take it.
- 4:14They're there. They're like the flowers I tried
- 4:16and she didn't like them. Well, flowers I do.
- 4:18Love a good compliment, but yeah, so when we started
- 4:22sleeping in separate rooms, we were getting better sleep and we
- 4:25noticed that we were just more functionally happy.
- 4:28And the real reason is she has rules.
- 4:30You can't roll over more than three times or she starts
- 4:33grumbling. That's not true.
- 4:35I do like my covers. She.
- 4:37She communicates very well that there are rules when you're in
- 4:41the bed. I make my bed every morning and
- 4:43I and I don't like the covers to kind of just go everywhere.
- 4:46So like I sleep very like confined like a burrito rules
- 4:49and he sleeps very. Like lots of rules.
- 4:53They're not rules, it's just it's the way.
- 4:54Why you flip so much? Why you?
- 4:56Turned I never once asked you how why you flip so much.
- 4:58No, you don't. So that's not a rule because.
- 5:02I've done. Actions speak louder than words
- 5:04anyway. Are you done yet?
- 5:09Well, it's because I want you to get comfortable so we can fall
- 5:11asleep. Huh.
- 5:13We do, but when we travel we don't get too bad.
- 5:15That's why I have a different room.
- 5:17We sleep in. One bed I stand behind my.
- 5:19Statement, but it is but it is good though.
- 5:21It is and, and so I think the people that were in like the
- 5:2440s, thirties, 40s and 50s, they had it.
- 5:25They knew what they were doing. That's why they all stayed
- 5:27married as long as they did. They're like 60-70 years because
- 5:30they realized that if you don't have good sleep, you're just
- 5:32going to be angry asshole anyway.
- 5:33So it is what it is. But yeah.
- 5:38And I think the other thing is, is that we're actually really
- 5:40good friends. Like outside of everything else,
- 5:44we could, we have lots of the same interests in common.
- 5:47And so we can go do out like we, we could be super angry and
- 5:51still go out to dinner like with our friends and still have a
- 5:53good time because we're friends. So we leave all that like
- 5:56whatever, we don't fight as much anymore just because I think
- 6:00we've realized that it's there's really no point in fighting.
- 6:02She doesn't listen anyway, so it's no point.
- 6:05There's no winner. It's.
- 6:07Not true if there is no winner or loser because you choose you
- 6:10choose each other every day. So I'm not you're not going
- 6:13anywhere and I'm not going anywhere.
- 6:14So if we keep arguing about the same stuff, it just becomes
- 6:17silly. I'm just getting old and gave
- 6:20up. But when do you say things that
- 6:21I need to change about myself? I try, I, I can't guarantee I'm
- 6:25going to do it because I'm, I'm almost 50 and you're almost, you
- 6:28know, we're in our 50s and we're set in our ways.
- 6:31Well, I'm just saying we've been doing the same thing since we
- 6:33were kids. So like some of those things I
- 6:35try to change and they may not change, but I do, I do as good
- 6:39as I can for as long as I can. And then I try to reset and do
- 6:41it again. But I try, I try.
- 6:46Project. Right, that's not true.
- 6:49But and the one big thing people that fight about is money and
- 6:51you're always going to fight about money.
- 6:53So don't stress on it because it's going to happen.
- 6:55There's never enough because we're not not we're not all
- 6:57e-mail Elon Musk with like billions of dollars.
- 7:00I don't. Know we haven't thought about
- 7:01money at long. Well, because we have, I mean,
- 7:03we have money now. We have more money now.
- 7:05So but when you're first married, that's like the biggest
- 7:08thing that everybody fights about is you don't have any
- 7:10money because you're first, you're just getting married and,
- 7:12you know, everything's a stress and you're young and.
- 7:14Well, most people have kids in their house, too.
- 7:17That's true. So you don't have your space.
- 7:19Yeah. And you're always busy.
- 7:20So we get it. Yeah, we've been there.
- 7:22And that's the thing when you have children, you have to
- 7:24remember date nights for yourself because once those kids
- 7:27are gone and you're empty nesting, you kind of look at
- 7:28each other and go. Who are you?
- 7:30Yeah. What?
- 7:31What was that? So if you keep that, you know,
- 7:35little, the little romancey little date night here and
- 7:37there, it's fun. It's fun.
- 7:40Go away on a lot of vacations, laugh a lot.
- 7:42I think we laugh a lot. I mean I literally cry every
- 7:45time laughing before we start these things because he's got me
- 7:48in tears making me giggle so. You guys miss all the good
- 7:53stuff. And it's all the good stuff out,
- 7:56but I have to fix my face so that I, you know, like pretty.
- 7:59But what else? What else do you think?
- 8:02I mean, 32 years is a really long time and it's just wild.
- 8:04Oh, I got 1. That I that we've been married,
- 8:06that one. I got 1.
- 8:08Go for it. We are too lazy to see others.
- 8:11That's absolutely not true. We're just set in our ways and
- 8:18gave up. I could find something
- 8:22relatively quickly, I'm just saying.
- 8:25Could you? I could, I've seen some of the
- 8:28choice. Oh, I mean, it may not be, it
- 8:30may not be as good a choice as you, but I can find somebody.
- 8:33It would take me a while to find somebody as.
- 8:37You're never going to find a published author or professional
- 8:40athlete. You're never going to find this.
- 8:45And do you think you should find anybody as good as me?
- 8:48No. Exactly.
- 8:50So see that's. There are options, but no.
- 8:53There's always options, but that's why that see, that's why
- 8:55that works. But comment below if you have
- 8:58any other advice for us. If somebody's been married for a
- 9:00very long time and you guys want to share with us some of your
- 9:04things that maybe we could do to be better, but our anniversary

- 9:13Yeah, yeah. Feel free to.
- 9:15Because I'm not going to. It's perfectly fine.
- 9:17I'm OK with not getting flowers because they really do just die.

- 9:31the description, so use that feel.

- 9:35Yeah. Yeah, they'll pay.
- 9:37For that I did put a Venmo. Did you?
- 9:38Really. Yeah, That's pretty good.
- 9:40What timing? What preciseness.
- 9:41What a good guy I. Know.
- 9:43Dang, if it wasn't for me, where would you be?
- 9:45Where would I be? If her hands weren't on camera,
- 9:48she'd probably be pinching my skin.
