- 0:27Speaker 2: It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:31Speaker 2: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Maley along with Trade
- 0:35Speaker 2: Trendholm and Raj Sharma hopefully with mister Jerry Caldwell along shortly.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I can't remember if it was Tuesday or Wednesday's show
- 0:48Speaker 2: where we discussed the disappearance of the ten thousand condoms
- 0:54Speaker 2: at the Olympic village in just three days. I think
- 0:59Speaker 2: those Twoday show speculation was rampant as to the reason why,
- 1:04Speaker 2: the most obvious being well, they're all screwing like crazy,
- 1:08Speaker 2: which is the story that comes out of every single
- 1:10Speaker 2: Olympics village for as long as we've all been alive.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I think that story comes around like a sexy boomerang.
- 1:19Speaker 2: But now we have a couple of Olympians coming out
- 1:24Speaker 2: of their bedrooms. I guess they're taking a break to
- 1:26Speaker 2: towel off and rehydrate and say why all these condoms
- 1:29Speaker 2: are disappearing. Former Team USA figure skater Adam Riphon, who
- 1:39Speaker 2: won bronze at the twenty eighteen Winter Olympics, previously joked
- 1:45Speaker 2: that athletes often grab condoms in bulk simply because their
- 1:48Speaker 2: free Olympic branded souvenirs. That was the other guess we
- 1:53Speaker 2: had as to why condoms disappear at the Olympics at
- 1:57Speaker 2: the rate they do. And he goes on to say,
- 2:03Speaker 2: if you were wondering where three thousand of the condoms
- 2:05Speaker 2: went from the twenty eighteen Olympics in Pyongyang, I took them.
- 2:13Speaker 2: How do athletes go through so many? I'll tell you
- 2:16Speaker 2: how I went through so many. I took that basket
- 2:19Speaker 2: of condoms and I opened my backpack and I shoved
- 2:21Speaker 2: maybe three thousand of them in my backpack. I gave
- 2:25Speaker 2: those to my friends as souvenirs, which, on one hand,
- 2:30Speaker 2: is pretty funny. On the other hand, it kind of
- 2:33Speaker 2: sucks if your friend goes to the Olympics and all
- 2:35Speaker 2: you got was this condom?
- 2:39Speaker 1: At least it's not used.
- 2:40Speaker 3: True, true.
- 2:44Speaker 2: And then yeah, if you got to use condom, I
- 2:48Speaker 2: brought something back for it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Oh my god, I don't want that.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And then there was a skier I can get her
- 2:56Speaker 2: name right.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Li Tiana Clerk. She says, I saw it in Beijing.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Already there were some boxes with a lot of condoms
- 3:06Speaker 2: at the entrance of every building where we were staying
- 3:09Speaker 2: at the Olympic Village.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Every day they were gone.
- 3:14Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I already know that a lot of people are using
- 3:17Speaker 2: some or just taking them to give to their friends
- 3:20Speaker 2: outside of the Olympics, because it's kind of a gift
- 3:23Speaker 2: for them. So some of the sex appeal is gone
- 3:29Speaker 2: through the story, some of the fun is gone from
- 3:31Speaker 2: the story.
- 3:32Speaker 3: But at least we have more of a more of
- 3:33Speaker 3: an answer now.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I still think they're making balloon animals.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Somewhere in that Olympic village. Someone is doing that. I
- 3:46Speaker 2: have no doubt. And if they're not, they need they
- 3:49Speaker 2: need to live, right, because if you have not tried
- 3:51Speaker 2: to make a balloon animal with a condom, especially a
- 3:54Speaker 2: pre lubricated one, then you haven't lived.
- 3:59Speaker 5: I've never done that.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Then you haven't lived rush.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I guess I haven't.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I will say this, it seems odd to me that
- 4:08Speaker 2: you went to one of the biggest party schools, not
- 4:12Speaker 2: just in Texas but the nation, in Texas State, at
- 4:15Speaker 2: one of the wildest fraternities, at one of the wildest
- 4:18Speaker 2: universities in this country, and not once did you yourself
- 4:24Speaker 2: or did you witness someone make a balloon animal.
- 4:27Speaker 3: With a with a wet rubber.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I didn't use them.
- 4:33Speaker 1: No, No, Dan, we we're gen X. We used them.
- 4:37Speaker 1: We were we weren't making toys out of them.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I'm just saying that sometimes you can. You can do
- 4:43Speaker 3: both at the same time. Make a balloon animal, use it.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a town show. I just raised the flag.
- 5:00Speaker 6: But I never used them.
- 5:02Speaker 3: So that's frightening.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, is it because you just Is it
- 5:10Speaker 2: because you're the only guy not getting laid at Texas State?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Or you just didn't use them?
- 5:14Speaker 1: No?
- 5:15Speaker 5: I mean the women that I was with were on
- 5:20Speaker 5: birth control, so I didn't have to use them.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I just never did. That's weird. That is
- 5:38Speaker 3: weird to me.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It's more strange that you never used one in college
- 5:41Speaker 2: than the fact that you never turned one into a
- 5:43Speaker 2: balloon animal. I'm willing to bet, though, that Jerry's done it. Jerry,
- 5:46Speaker 2: have you made one into a balloon animal?
- 5:49Speaker 4: I have not.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I have I have inflated one over my head before.
- 5:55Speaker 3: That makes that makes sense?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, because look, I've never made one into a balloon animal,
- 6:01Speaker 2: because I couldn't make a regular balloon that's meant to
- 6:05Speaker 2: be turned into a balloon animal into an actual balloon animal.
- 6:09Speaker 5: I'm just I don't watch nineteen taketos. I'm sure you've
- 6:15Speaker 5: had a balloon on a balloon condom over your head.
- 6:22Speaker 3: No, really sure? Correlate Well, if you're what he's made is.
- 6:31Speaker 2: If I'm if I'm drunk enough to order that many taketos,
- 6:35Speaker 2: then I've been drunk enough to wear a condom as
- 6:38Speaker 2: a hat. I seeing though, While while I might have
- 6:43Speaker 2: been the appropriate amount of drunk to do both, I
- 6:46Speaker 2: just did the taketos.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Wow, okay, never and by by did the taketos?
- 6:56Speaker 3: I ate them, Trey, Okay, I ate wachtos.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Can entering the subject, I think it's a fair clarification.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I appreciate.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I don't want I don't want there to be any
- 7:05Speaker 2: confusion I don't want any mystery. I don't want anyone
- 7:08Speaker 2: listening to this and thinking, oh my god, is.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Dana burrito dan Rod dogged at Tequilos.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I almost did that to a breakroom burrito at iHeartRadio
- 7:24Speaker 2: back in the day. I think, Jerry, you may remember
- 7:26Speaker 2: that there was after Yeah, there was a random burrito
- 7:30Speaker 2: sitting in the breakroom at iHeartRadio DFW. It's just sitting
- 7:36Speaker 2: there right in the breakroom on the table, and we
- 7:38Speaker 2: all thought, Okay, what can we do to this because
- 7:40Speaker 2: you know someone's gonna come along and eat it because
- 7:42Speaker 2: it's a radio station. No free food goes uneaten.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's right. I was wondering where you're going with this
- 7:51Speaker 1: because I thought you were about to say you ate
- 7:54Speaker 1: the random burrito, And I'm like, if there is food
- 7:56Speaker 1: left on a radio station yo break room, there's something
- 8:01Speaker 1: wrong with.
- 8:02Speaker 3: It, right, uh huh. And that's where we turned it
- 8:05Speaker 3: into an experiment.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Uh. So we started thinking of and brainstorming different things
- 8:11Speaker 2: we could do to this random burrito sitting in its
- 8:14Speaker 2: wrapper in the breakroom. And before we could even finalize
- 8:20Speaker 2: something to do to the random burrito, Jay shann and
- 8:25Speaker 2: the program director of Star one oh two point one
- 8:30Speaker 2: and one oh two nine, whatever it was called at
- 8:32Speaker 2: the time, came in, grabbed that random burrito, took it
- 8:35Speaker 2: to his office and chowed down. So to his credit,
- 8:38Speaker 2: he got to it before we could ever molest that burrito.
- 8:41Speaker 2: But then he took it to his office, and then
- 8:43Speaker 2: he molested it. And then he also lived in infamy
- 8:46Speaker 2: because he then became the random burrito eater. If I
- 8:48Speaker 2: heard theft of m yeah, along with being known as
- 8:52Speaker 2: the guy that ultimately put the nail on the coffin
- 8:54Speaker 2: of one o two one the edge.
- 8:55Speaker 4: May she ras in peace.
- 8:57Speaker 5: But if you, if you ever get a chance, see
- 9:02Speaker 5: Dann Malley to take nineteen water burger uh taketos and
- 9:13Speaker 5: hold them in his arms. It's just the sweetest thing
- 9:17Speaker 5: in the world. He hugs them, he loves them. He
- 9:24Speaker 5: dropped two on the street anyway.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I didn't leave them there though. You picked them up.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Oh no, you picked them up and then proceeded to
- 9:36Speaker 7: eat nineteen taketos because they were ninety nine cents.
- 9:43Speaker 2: At the time, not all at the same time. I
- 9:45Speaker 2: want that pointed out.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Oh you you ate them by the time I got home,
- 9:53Speaker 5: you were already dumb.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I have saved some for the next day, Thank you
- 10:00Speaker 3: very much.
- 10:01Speaker 5: I don't I don't think so.
- 10:03Speaker 3: You weren't there.
- 10:07Speaker 5: By the time I got to the month my place
- 10:10Speaker 5: of mont Fort place down the street. Uh, you were finished.
- 10:18Speaker 3: And you couldn't see me.
- 10:22Speaker 5: You called me.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I can't be trusted.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I guess what I just did.
- 10:28Speaker 1: That's what he said. Guess what. Guess what I did?
- 10:31Speaker 3: I just finished.
- 10:31Speaker 5: All these I was like, Oh, impressive, I'm nineteen minutes away.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I had some left the next day. That's all that's important.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I had breakfast for myself.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Oh okay.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Speaking of sex, it's not only the Olympians that are
- 10:48Speaker 2: getting it on and or you know, sharing their Olympics
- 10:51Speaker 2: with friends. The other day, Trey and I also discussed
- 10:55Speaker 2: how and let me put this to you, guys, Jerry
- 10:58Speaker 2: raj As, technically we're all middle aged as guys that
- 11:03Speaker 2: are over the age of fifty. What's one thing that
- 11:06Speaker 2: would keep you from having sex? Like you got you
- 11:09Speaker 2: had a choice to make. You can do this or
- 11:11Speaker 2: you can have sex. What would what would be that
- 11:14Speaker 2: thing that would keep you from getting it on?
- 11:18Speaker 3: Oh?
- 11:18Speaker 5: Man, I don't know about I mean, what are the options.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Anything?
- 11:28Speaker 2: I'm giving you the options, Like, what's one thing as
- 11:31Speaker 2: a middle aged man that would tempt you to do
- 11:35Speaker 2: instead of sex?
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't even know. If you say tempt you to do,
- 11:42Speaker 1: it just might happen.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Oh, it's happened. It's absolutely happened.
- 11:46Speaker 2: If you, if you are a if you are a
- 11:48Speaker 2: normal middle aged man or a woman, at some point
- 11:53Speaker 2: or another, you have been presented with the option of
- 11:57Speaker 2: sex or this, and you chose the this.
- 12:01Speaker 3: What is the this?
- 12:06Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:06Speaker 3: I got nothing me either. Trey nailed it. Sleep?
- 12:11Speaker 5: Oh sleep, Okay, No, I'll take the sex.
- 12:18Speaker 4: All right.
- 12:18Speaker 2: We're the odd balls then Trey. Maybe they're just not
- 12:21Speaker 2: they're not there yet. You'll get you, guys will get there.
- 12:23Speaker 2: The reason I bring this up is also because there
- 12:26Speaker 2: was a study done recently that found gen Z also
- 12:30Speaker 2: feels like they would choose sex over sleep sometimes, so surprising.
- 12:36Speaker 1: What I choose sleep over sex?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Oh?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:41Speaker 2: A new study was done that found the gen Z
- 12:44Speaker 2: would choose sleep over sex, which is odd to us
- 12:49Speaker 2: because they haven't lived long enough to be that tired.
- 12:51Speaker 2: They haven't done enough to be that tired. Where they're like,
- 12:54Speaker 2: you know, what tonight, baby, I just really want to
- 12:56Speaker 2: go to sleep. And then she looks at you and goes, oh,
- 12:58Speaker 2: thank god, me too.
- 12:59Speaker 4: No.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Yeah, your twenties you should be, you know, banging all
- 13:02Speaker 1: you can sleep, sleep little, do everything else. That's that's
- 13:07Speaker 1: what's sad.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Well, now another study about gen z and its sex
- 13:13Speaker 2: habits has been released. A survey finds one third of
- 13:18Speaker 2: college students use their phones during sex to record No
- 13:26Speaker 2: because that's what I thought, too, is go on board
- 13:30Speaker 2: with that? But how was my first thoughts? Like okay, yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 2: that makes sense. I don't know why that's that shocking.
- 13:34Speaker 2: The new survey, conducted by yik yak and side chat,
- 13:38Speaker 2: suggests that digital habits are deeply embedded in intimate moments.
- 13:42Speaker 2: The pole conducted responses from ten thousand college students across
- 13:46Speaker 2: more than five hundred campuses and paints a picture of
- 13:48Speaker 2: constant connection even behind closed doors. Thirty five percent of
- 13:52Speaker 2: respondents said they have texted or used social media while
- 13:56Speaker 2: having sex. The behavior points to how normalized the multitasking
- 14:00Speaker 2: with phones has become for young adults who grew up online. Notifications,
- 14:05Speaker 2: group chats, and scrolling do not always stop when the
- 14:08Speaker 2: physical intimacy begins.
- 14:11Speaker 5: I've had I've had multiple partners asked me, uh, as
- 14:17Speaker 5: as we were doing the thing.
- 14:20Speaker 3: To record.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Okay, I thought that was weird, but that they wanted
- 14:28Speaker 5: to watch and they wanted to film the whole thing.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I thought that was weird.
- 14:36Speaker 5: But you know, I'm a giver.
- 14:39Speaker 2: M h you're you're also you're also a showman. I
- 14:42Speaker 2: mean you're a standing up comedian, so.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Yeah, and you do love crowd work, yeah, I mean
- 14:49Speaker 5: I like talking to the audience. No, but I had
- 14:53Speaker 5: multiple partners have been asked like, hey, can you record
- 14:58Speaker 5: us while we're doing this?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but have any of them pulled their phone out
- 15:01Speaker 2: and just started scrolling TikTok uh.
- 15:05Speaker 5: I had one in in l A.
- 15:11Speaker 4: That was uh.
- 15:13Speaker 3: She was on YouTube.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Because she wanted she wanted to try different stuff. See
- 15:22Speaker 5: now that makes sense to me.
- 15:24Speaker 2: If you're on your phone looking for inspiration, then I
- 15:27Speaker 2: get it, like you fre like, no, hang on, I
- 15:29Speaker 2: want to try this thing, but I need to show
- 15:31Speaker 2: it to you for you to understand. Let me see
- 15:33Speaker 2: if I can find it real quick that I get.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I was in the middle.
- 15:36Speaker 4: It was in the middle, I don't.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I mean, she's with a guy from the culture that
- 15:41Speaker 1: invented the Kama Sutra. Why why does she need to
- 15:44Speaker 1: go to YouTube? Well, she didn't invent it. I said no.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I said, you're you with.
- 15:56Speaker 5: No, but it just look you're right man in the middle.
- 15:59Speaker 5: She's like, hey, I saw this thing that we can do.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm like, my next I'm in the middle of this.
- 16:11Speaker 5: Honestly, if you want a boner killer, that's one.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Don't interrupt the show, lady, I.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Would at least help. You're going to porn hub, not YouTube.
- 16:25Speaker 5: She went to YouTube and she's like, this is a
- 16:28Speaker 5: yoga class that she can show me how to do it,
- 16:34Speaker 5: how to turn her over or what it was?
- 16:37Speaker 4: Weird?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, did you do it?
- 16:45Speaker 1: No?
- 16:45Speaker 3: I loved her the next day. No, I'm talking about
- 16:48Speaker 3: in the moment.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Did you do it?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yes?
- 16:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, Well I'm not gonna stop.
- 16:56Speaker 3: So I will say this.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Got me.
- 17:00Speaker 2: It does sound odd that someone like in this study,
- 17:04Speaker 2: it says thirty five percent of college student said that
- 17:06Speaker 2: they've scrolled social media, checked messages, whatever in the middle
- 17:11Speaker 2: of an intimate moment. But and to us that sounds
- 17:16Speaker 2: really weird, sounds dumb. It's like, what's wrong with these kids?
- 17:21Speaker 2: But have none of us ever taken a phone call in.
- 17:24Speaker 3: The middle of it. Nope, no that like not once.
- 17:30Speaker 2: It's been like, hey, I really got to take this
- 17:32Speaker 2: just to be weird or silly about it.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Like shit, I gotta take this like this is work.
- 17:37Speaker 3: But whatever you're doing, don't stop.
- 17:41Speaker 5: You've taken a phone call.
- 17:43Speaker 1: No no, I was about to ask you what did
- 17:47Speaker 1: ruff say?
- 17:51Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no no no That mother picker
- 17:53Speaker 2: went straight to voicemail.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You talk about a mood killer? Whoa your in good trios?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Listen up online at treof.
- 18:07Speaker 3: On air do co eight three to three.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Cook DFW is the phone number you will need to
- 18:13Speaker 2: contact Cook DFW to get your free roof inspection and
- 18:17Speaker 2: property review. New from COOKDFW is the Know Your Home Show.

- 18:35Speaker 2: So we've got the show underway. We're helping homeowners with
- 18:39Speaker 2: approachable ways to make their homes safer, a little more manageable,
- 18:42Speaker 2: and just to know the home better. In addition to
- 18:45Speaker 2: that is storm related things. We've covered that on the
- 18:49Speaker 2: show already how storms and severe weather can affect your home. Specifically,
- 18:54Speaker 2: hail one of the worst culprits to damaging homes. What's
- 18:58Speaker 2: one of the biggest chunks of hail you've seen in
- 19:00Speaker 2: your business?
- 19:01Speaker 8: Personally about a three inch heilstorm. That was the largest
- 19:04Speaker 8: one I've seen, now, a granite. We get out there
- 19:08Speaker 8: sometimes out right after the event. People will call us
- 19:11Speaker 8: because they have holes that coming in their windows, are
- 19:13Speaker 8: actually coming through their decking of their house, you know.
- 19:16Speaker 8: So those are usually when we find the largest ones.
- 19:19Speaker 8: And then the next morning, believe it or not, there'll
- 19:21Speaker 8: still be piles of hell around people's homes because when
- 19:25Speaker 8: you have a substantial hailstorm, you're talking about large quantities,
- 19:29Speaker 8: and so it doesn't melt usually overnight. It's usually setting
- 19:32Speaker 8: there the next morning in the little Covis's and your
- 19:35Speaker 8: yards are still covered. And when hell comes down in
- 19:37Speaker 8: those large storms, it knocks all the lease off, almost
- 19:40Speaker 8: all the trees. You can even see concrete and grass
- 19:43Speaker 8: because there's tree debris over everything in the neighborhood. So,
- 19:47Speaker 8: I mean, if you ever drive through after a hell event,
- 19:49Speaker 8: it's astonishing. It looks like a war zone almost. I
- 19:53Speaker 8: mean you got, like I said, there's landscaping debris everywhere.
- 19:57Speaker 8: There's all those people's personal effects, you know, from their
- 20:00Speaker 8: landscaping their backyard. I mean, you got bikes in the
- 20:03Speaker 8: middle of the street, skateboard I mean, it's just it's crazy.
- 20:07Speaker 8: But yeah, three inch. But I do know that South
- 20:09Speaker 8: Texas gets a lot of the large, large hill. Last year,
- 20:14Speaker 8: I want to say it was a six and a
- 20:15Speaker 8: half inch I think a stone that came down. It
- 20:19Speaker 8: was one of the largest ones ever recorded, So it's
- 20:22Speaker 8: substantially what thing come out. And then even in Ralette,
- 20:26Speaker 8: I think that was like twenty sixteen, they had hell
- 20:29Speaker 8: the size of cantelopes coming through and it was so
- 20:33Speaker 8: powerful it was actually coming through the people's roofs all
- 20:37Speaker 8: the way through.
- 20:37Speaker 1: The decking into their home.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Oh god.
- 20:40Speaker 8: There were actually people that had claims on furniture, breaking
- 20:43Speaker 8: glass tables. I remember specifically there was a refrigerator that
- 20:48Speaker 8: got put on pictures in the network and it had
- 20:51Speaker 8: a dent in it from the hailstorm coming through the
- 20:53Speaker 8: decking and hitting the refrigerator. I don't know how many
- 20:56Speaker 8: people can say they actually had a refrigerator on the
- 20:58Speaker 8: hell clane.

- 21:33Speaker 2: my favorite stories coming out of the Olympics. Despite all
- 21:36Speaker 2: the fun we've had, you know, with the condom shortage
- 21:39Speaker 2: at the Olympic village. It was all part of an
- 21:44Speaker 2: epic Olympic meltdown that turned into high tragic theater on
- 21:49Speaker 2: the slopes. Oh yeah, at La Lee McGrath's gold medal
- 21:56Speaker 2: hopes in the Olympics slalom slipped away.
- 22:00Speaker 3: His ski poles were then thrown away, and then he
- 22:04Speaker 3: simply stumbled away through the snow and walked to the woods.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I didn't see this.
- 22:15Speaker 3: It's one thing.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It's one thing to lose your shot at a medal
- 22:20Speaker 2: in the Olympics, but it's another thing to lose your
- 22:23Speaker 2: emotions altogether and to be so disappointed in your failure
- 22:27Speaker 2: at the Olympics that you just simply walk off the course,
- 22:31Speaker 2: leave your skis, leave your poles, and you just take
- 22:33Speaker 2: a long walk straight off into the woods. Yes, they
- 22:39Speaker 2: found him. Unfortunately they didn't leave him alone. They didn't
- 22:46Speaker 2: recognize the fact that you know, this guy just needs
- 22:48Speaker 2: a minute. Let's just let him, you know, let's just
- 22:51Speaker 2: let him be for a minute. Instead they're like, no,
- 22:53Speaker 2: we got to go get this guy. So that's what
- 22:55Speaker 2: they did. Uh.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Norwegian ski racer McGrath Uh.
- 23:01Speaker 2: He said, I thought that I would get some peace
- 23:03Speaker 2: and quiet, but I didn't because photographers and police found
- 23:07Speaker 2: me out in the woods. But I just needed some
- 23:09Speaker 2: time for myself. He was born in Vermont, but he
- 23:13Speaker 2: grew up in Norway. He entered the final run of
- 23:15Speaker 2: the final men's race at the Milan Cortina Games with
- 23:17Speaker 2: a big lead in his best event, but after straddling
- 23:22Speaker 2: a gate, McGrath lost a metal and then control of
- 23:25Speaker 2: his emotions as he walked off into the woods. Trying
- 23:30Speaker 2: what peace and quiet it was the I think the
- 23:33Speaker 2: giant slalom. The twenty five year old tossed each pole
- 23:42Speaker 2: over the safety netting. He then climbed the fencing on
- 23:45Speaker 2: the other side of the course and made his way
- 23:47Speaker 2: through the snow to the edge of the wilderness.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Where he laid down on his back.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but the photo of him is so great
- 23:57Speaker 2: and I'm just gonna hold you can kind of see
- 23:59Speaker 2: it's just him walking towards the woods, towards the netting.
- 24:03Speaker 3: He just goes over the netting and just keeps going.
- 24:08Speaker 3: That poor poor man.
- 24:11Speaker 1: He could have become the Bigfoot of slalom skiing, you know.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Just yeah, a story about what happens when you fail.
- 24:19Speaker 2: For decades, when people go to when people go to
- 24:22Speaker 2: the Italian Alps on vacation, day two could say that
- 24:26Speaker 2: they saw McGrath still walking the woods, crying about his
- 24:30Speaker 2: lost metal.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Thought it was Bigfoot.
- 24:35Speaker 2: No, that's just that's just atl or however you say
- 24:38Speaker 2: his name.
- 24:39Speaker 3: It's a t l e.
- 24:42Speaker 2: That poor poor man. I do have a theory on
- 24:45Speaker 2: this though. This is what happens when you're a skier.
- 24:49Speaker 2: That's a very It's a solo sport, right, it's very lonely.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Other sports that seem to have recognized the loneliness of
- 24:57Speaker 2: solo's sports. Yes, I'm talking about the luge, because the
- 25:03Speaker 2: luge is one of those where it started out as
- 25:05Speaker 2: a one person thing. You get on the sled and
- 25:08Speaker 2: you go down the track and you go fast.
- 25:11Speaker 4: And then.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Now we have doubles louge. We got men's doubles louge.
- 25:18Speaker 2: We've got women's doubles louge. No mixed doubles louge.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Gee.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I wonder why, But I'm left wondering. I always think
- 25:27Speaker 2: about how did something come about, how did it begin?
- 25:32Speaker 2: And when I think of doubles louge, I think about
- 25:34Speaker 2: a guy on a sled. At one point he looks
- 25:39Speaker 2: towards a buddy of his and says, hey, you uh,
- 25:44Speaker 2: you want to go for a ride, And to his surprise,
- 25:49Speaker 2: the guy says yes, and doubles louge was born.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Let me go put some tights on, man.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 25:56Speaker 3: That's the That's the other part of it too.
- 25:57Speaker 2: It's it's not enough to say, hey, buddy, you and
- 26:00Speaker 2: a hop on my sled and see what happens. Well, sure,
- 26:04Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. Let's go both, let's both go
- 26:06Speaker 2: put on something tighter or.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Or because I think the timing may be simply because
- 26:14Speaker 1: I don't think doubles loge has been around that long.
- 26:17Speaker 3: It hasn't. It's a newer event.
- 26:19Speaker 1: So I think a couple of lose guys got drunk
- 26:24Speaker 1: watched Talladega Knights.
- 26:29Speaker 5: Shaking Bake, Yeah, who's who's shaking?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Who's bake?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Pitch and catch seem more apropos.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like shake is is the sledd on
- 26:47Speaker 2: the bottom? I think I think no, sorry, yeah, shake
- 26:51Speaker 2: is on top, bake is on the bottom. I think
- 26:54Speaker 2: that's how that works in the doubles loge.
- 26:59Speaker 3: And so yeah, so you get.
- 26:59Speaker 2: The men's doubles lose, you have women's doubles lose, but
- 27:02Speaker 2: there's no mixed doubles loge.
- 27:06Speaker 3: And the other thing.
- 27:07Speaker 2: About Yeah, the bob sled and the luge and skeleton
- 27:12Speaker 2: skeleton's awesome because now you're just going face first straight
- 27:16Speaker 2: down the track and I love that of it.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I think that's cool as hell.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Right, But there's not.
- 27:20Speaker 2: A doubles skeleton, right, I haven't missed something on the programming, No, because.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I mean it's the point of the skeleton. Well, I mean,
- 27:29Speaker 3: if you're.
- 27:29Speaker 2: The skeleton bro and you're face down on the sled
- 27:32Speaker 2: and you turn to a buddy and go hey, hop on,
- 27:37Speaker 2: and then you're well.
- 27:40Speaker 1: The way they launch in skeleton, I don't ah, it
- 27:45Speaker 1: would be really difficult for that second person because that's
- 27:48Speaker 1: when you just basically they take a running start and
- 27:50Speaker 1: just leap face forward onto the sled and then they're
- 27:56Speaker 1: they're off.
- 27:57Speaker 4: So yeah, I mean.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Tray the first time is always the toughest, but if
- 28:05Speaker 3: you really really want.
- 28:06Speaker 4: It, it's when they become the sled.
- 28:11Speaker 1: How's that?
- 28:14Speaker 4: S and L.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm not done this skit, That's what I'm wondering.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And not only that, but it's like, if you're gonna
- 28:19Speaker 2: do if you're gonna do the doubles loge with the
- 28:22Speaker 2: with the one guy sitting on top of the other
- 28:24Speaker 2: guy and and the women's lose doubles, does you know
- 28:28Speaker 2: the same position and it? Then what if you did
- 28:31Speaker 2: doubles skeleton where you're both you know, face first going down,
- 28:36Speaker 2: but on top of each other, Then then then why
- 28:39Speaker 2: not you know the ladies but they do it facing
- 28:42Speaker 2: each other.
- 28:45Speaker 3: That's a reverse scissor.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I think it's just a regular scissor.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Reverse scissor is kind of what they're doing now.
- 28:59Speaker 4: I mean, i'd watch it exactly. The ratings will go
- 29:06Speaker 4: through the roof.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Right, that's not the only thing going through the roof,
- 29:12Speaker 2: because I mean, if you think about it. There's all
- 29:14Speaker 2: the all the positions are covered. You know, you you've
- 29:16Speaker 2: got on your back is loose, you got you know,
- 29:21Speaker 2: face down, which is skeleton. And I just I just
- 29:28Speaker 2: want to see the reverse cowboy.
- 29:30Speaker 10: Hm.
- 29:31Speaker 3: That's that's men's doubles loose.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And then Bob Sludding is just a gang bang.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Everybody who cares about the metals sports.
- 29:50Speaker 9: Everybody on air dot com.

- 30:14Speaker 2: All right, God, what a great fun time had by
- 30:18Speaker 2: all except.
- 30:20Speaker 3: For that guy. Yep, I hate that song.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Why do you Why do you hate the lover Boy?
- 30:30Speaker 3: Is because you're trying to think of it?
- 30:32Speaker 10: Is it?
- 30:32Speaker 2: Is it because you're trying to find a new way
- 30:34Speaker 2: to alienate yourself from our listeners. You can't do Devil
- 30:38Speaker 2: horns to lover Boy, Yes you can. You can do
- 30:42Speaker 2: Devil horns to any kickass guitar riff.
- 30:44Speaker 3: That's right, Oh you can't.
- 30:47Speaker 10: Who you want to go to horns if you want
- 30:51Speaker 10: to go, Uh, there's other metal bands that you can
- 30:57Speaker 10: do Devil Devil hens too.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Well, if I want to do deatal hands, I'm gonna
- 31:02Speaker 3: do deadal hands.
- 31:02Speaker 4: The lover boy.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I prefer.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I gave him. I gave him a bro nod.
- 31:15Speaker 5: I was in the airport with Kenny G.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Well, you can't give Kenny G a bro nod. He's
- 31:20Speaker 2: not cool enough for a bro nod. No, we did
- 31:22Speaker 2: this move and that was cool enough.
- 31:26Speaker 5: And uh there was a guy that actually was holding
- 31:30Speaker 5: his clarinet.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Dope as ship.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 5: I was like, he has an assistant. Well done, Kenny G.
- 31:45Speaker 5: But no, lover boy, Come on, dude, we can't do that.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Sure we can pyrotechnics as far as I.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Mean.
- 31:59Speaker 5: You guys are white.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Last I checked, but I'm working on it.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Yeah, but you do this whole move and I'm like, no, no,
- 32:13Speaker 5: we can't. Not a lover boy, I mean, why why?
- 32:20Speaker 5: Because it's loverable.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna need a better answer than that. That's not
- 32:24Speaker 2: an answer. That's just stating who's involved.
- 32:27Speaker 3: What's the name of the band?
- 32:30Speaker 5: Established, Yeah, that's that's that's it. If it's a Metallica,
- 32:36Speaker 5: if it's uh, you know, god uh static X if.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Is it is it the lover part or the boy part?
- 32:46Speaker 5: Oh, I think it's the I think it's mostly all
- 32:49Speaker 5: of the parts.
- 32:53Speaker 3: So it was named your band, lover boy.
- 32:58Speaker 4: It was out of you.
- 33:00Speaker 3: You're not metal, never claimed to me metal.
- 33:04Speaker 2: This is not reserved for metals.
- 33:09Speaker 5: Observed for metal, Ronnie Dio.
- 33:12Speaker 1: When you're part of it, when you're when you're part
- 33:14Speaker 1: of a band that was passing girls between tour buses
- 33:19Speaker 1: driving down the road, you can you can do the
- 33:22Speaker 1: rock out with your cock out all day long.
- 33:25Speaker 3: No, that was just shameful. That shameful, she consented. I
- 33:34Speaker 3: hope we don't know the story. We don't know what
- 33:42Speaker 3: ever happened.
- 33:43Speaker 5: To her hopefully lift home.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Oh no, no, they they well, I mean she made
- 33:49Speaker 2: it to the other vehicle. What happened after that? I
- 33:51Speaker 2: can only speculate. All right, onto less serious things. Miss
- 33:57Speaker 2: Bumbum has suffered horrific frostbite on her butt after a
- 34:01Speaker 2: painful ice baths failed.
- 34:04Speaker 1: So sad, I'm as the eldest of the group. I'm
- 34:11Speaker 1: gonna who.
- 34:14Speaker 2: A Brazilian influencer named Carole Chavez, who goes by the
- 34:18Speaker 2: name Miss Bumbum Okay, suffered a nasty frostbite burn on
- 34:23Speaker 2: her buttocks after an at home cryo therapy session went
- 34:27Speaker 2: badly while preparing for Carnival twenty twenty.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Six, So sad, very badly.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Sounds like this occurred in Rio de Janeiro this month,
- 34:41Speaker 2: as twenty four year old Miss Bumbum Champion Carole Chavez
- 34:44Speaker 2: had incorporated ice bats into her fitness regiment ahead of
- 34:48Speaker 2: her Carnival appearance. These are very popular these days. They've
- 34:51Speaker 2: been around forever. Ice bats have been in you know,
- 34:55Speaker 2: NFL locker rooms, high school football, professional athletes, been around forever.
- 34:59Speaker 2: But they've gone mainstream with you know, just people saying that,
- 35:04Speaker 2: you know, cryotherapy and ice bats are supposed to be
- 35:07Speaker 2: good for it.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Well, this got a little out of hand.
- 35:11Speaker 4: She said.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I didn't measure the water temperature. I put in a
- 35:15Speaker 3: lot of.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Ice, and from the thermal shock, I felt it must
- 35:18Speaker 2: have been close to zero degrees. She explained she remained
- 35:24Speaker 2: immersed for far longer than advised, which led to a
- 35:27Speaker 2: cold burn on her backside. She said, the problem is
- 35:29Speaker 2: that I ended up staying in longer than I should have,
- 35:32Speaker 2: and that caused a cold burn on my bum. That's
- 35:35Speaker 2: according to the twenty four year old Miss bum Bum
- 35:37Speaker 2: Champion of Brazil. She also said she opted to experiment
- 35:43Speaker 2: with cryotherapy as a method of conditioning herself for Carnival's
- 35:47Speaker 2: grueling demands without resorting to cosmetic treatments.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I mean she does live in the home with the
- 35:55Speaker 4: butt left.
- 35:56Speaker 2: This is true, She says. I wanted to parade without
- 35:59Speaker 2: resorting to invasive procedures. I look for alternatives that could
- 36:02Speaker 2: help with muscle recovery and physical preparation, and cryo therapy
- 36:05Speaker 2: seem like a simple option for every day use. Look,
- 36:08Speaker 2: if you're not torking at this level, then why even bother?
- 36:13Speaker 11: If I agree, please pontificate, Please say bontificate.
- 36:32Speaker 3: I agree.
- 36:33Speaker 5: If you're not, if you're not stepping up the game,
- 36:37Speaker 5: then you're you're not doing the job, right. I can
- 36:44Speaker 5: agree with that, Like that's what you're getting paid for.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I have seen videos of people when when like it
- 36:51Speaker 2: used to be like a like a dance battle kind
- 36:53Speaker 2: of thing back in the day where people do the
- 36:55Speaker 2: circle and someone would jump in and dance and some
- 36:57Speaker 2: of my dance and then back and forth whatever. But
- 37:00Speaker 2: now there's like torque battles and yeah, one of my
- 37:03Speaker 2: one of my favorites is a video where like all
- 37:07Speaker 2: these girls are in there doing it and like, wow,
- 37:09Speaker 2: this is actually really impressive. And then someone else gets
- 37:12Speaker 2: in there who's been doing it at home in front
- 37:14Speaker 2: of nobody, and thinks they can do it just as well.
- 37:17Speaker 2: And then everyone just goes quiet, like oh god, she okay,
- 37:21Speaker 2: Like like she can't move the hips in that way.
- 37:23Speaker 2: The butt cheeks do not move independently of one another.
- 37:26Speaker 2: It just looks more like a seizure. So you like
- 37:32Speaker 2: working videos, just this one, just just just when one
- 37:38Speaker 2: person thought that, like, Okay, this is my moment, all
- 37:41Speaker 2: this practice, all these times in my bedroom in front
- 37:44Speaker 2: of a mirror, I feel like I can do this.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I feel like I can hang with these other ladies.
- 37:49Speaker 2: And then she runs in there and just say, oh
- 37:51Speaker 2: I just didn't go right.
- 37:52Speaker 5: So he's kind of like opening up that the butt
- 37:55Speaker 5: cheeks moved independently.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Yeah, there there are ladies I can do that like,
- 38:02Speaker 2: And then have you ever seen like.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Someone who So you've watched this, you had to go
- 38:07Speaker 4: through a few to find the good one.
- 38:08Speaker 2: You know, the Internet will show you just about anything,
- 38:12Speaker 2: whether you asked for it or not.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Interesting, Okay, I didn't know what your style was.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I'm just impressed by by by human ability. The human experience.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Someone woke up one day and said, you know what,
- 38:28Speaker 2: dancing's just done. Not as fun as it could be.
- 38:32Speaker 2: I think I have the ability to move my butt
- 38:34Speaker 2: so fast it looks like a paint shaker. And then
- 38:37Speaker 2: also thought, you know, I think I can split it
- 38:39Speaker 2: and do each side as fast as two individual paint shakers.
- 38:44Speaker 2: And then I'm gonna do that on somebody else. And
- 38:48Speaker 2: and then you got the talking.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Take it away, Trey.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I just you know, were you.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Were?
- 38:57Speaker 1: You watching these videos as search or a tutorial, because
- 39:05Speaker 1: if you can do the paint shaker thing, I you know,
- 39:08Speaker 1: hats off, Yeah, hats off. I want to see it.
- 39:12Speaker 3: No I cannot.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but if I did, goddamn right, my ass
- 39:19Speaker 2: would be all over the internet with that.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Look what this white boy can do.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I can finally leave my part time job in the
- 39:31Speaker 2: paint department at Lows. It goes straight to America's gotta
- 39:37Speaker 2: tell them.
