  [SPEAKER_00]: On the offensive line with Anton Harrison.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And to me, he was the most impressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: player for the Jaguars on the offensive line, the only Jaguars starting offensive line to not pick up a penalty.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I also just thought you saw so much more in Liam Cohen talked about this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You saw effort and you saw a strain in the run game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've known about his past protection ability.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I know a lot of people, it's like, well, if you don't form me lately, he didn't have his best year last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was ups and downs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Anton Harris and at his best in past protection has the ability to be one of the best past protecting left tack or right tackles and football or left tackles potentially.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You saw that in this one against not only competition by any stretch of the imagination, the Jaguars in Week 2 will have a tougher test in that regard, but Antson Harrison passed with flying colors in his first outing with the Jaguars in

  [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest thing for the coaching staff to see for Manson Harrison was the strain, was the consistent effort, was the focus, and they saw all those things and spades I think in this game, and so on Harrison has a potentially if he keeps this type of effort up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: very, very bright future for the Jaguars at right tackle as both a pass protector, you know, potentially elite pass protector and very good run blocker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that was awesome to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really hope he is able to keep that up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If y'all don't know, I am a just huge fan of Anton Harrison's game, like him coming out of college.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you haven't been paying attention to long, I am a huge draft

  [SPEAKER_00]: Hands-on Harrison in 2023 for me was like a top 10, top 12 prospect in that class.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars were able to get him down at 27, I believe.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I was just so fired up about that pick, and there's been some ups and downs, like there has been with most players on the Jaguars roster, but I think he's in a really good situation from a coaching perspective, offensive scheme perspective, and you know, him personally the focus he has right now to have a really good year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He'll be eligible for a contract extension following the 2025 campaign.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that'll be interesting to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But my second offensive standout was Travis ETN.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he was fantastic.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't matter whether the Jack Wars were running inside, whether they were running outside, whether they were running gap scheme, whether they were running zone scheme, Travis ETN had a really, really good game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 16 carries 143 yards 8.9 yards per carry.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Even without the 71 yard scamper 15 carries for 72 yards I believe.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Almost five yards per carry.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He forced Miss tackles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He picked up chunk gains.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was effective in the receiving game as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis ETN looked like the back you saw the two years prior when he was in good situations and better situations than he was in 2024.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So so so excited to see that for Travis ETN because even if the Jaguars don't have him in their future plans beyond 2025, which remains unclear at this point

  [SPEAKER_00]: If he continues to play this way, somebody is going to pay that man, and he has developed so much as a professional throughout his time here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's dealt with a lot, dealt with not the best coaching staff, dealt with the list Frank injury in his rookie year, so I really hope he has a great season and gets paid whether that's in Jacksonville or elsewhere.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Following the 2025 season, my third offensive standout was Britain's strange and strange on the first drive had three catches for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He ended up with four catches in total on four targets.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes even more involved in the passing game, just thanks to his reliability, but on those receptions you saw, you

  [SPEAKER_00]: Strong hands, toughness, yacability, kind of explosive movement skills, which y'all know, 2023.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I was also a big fan of strength.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I had him as a third round pick and my blurb about him as a third round grade was,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Having as a third rounder, he's the player in this draft who could potentially outperform their draft value the most, because I saw the explosiveness, the athleticism, the strong hands, the blocking ability in space.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you just didn't see it a lot at Penn State because they have so many tight ends there all the time that end up making it to the NFL and doing a good job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Kudos to them, Kudos to Trent Valky for Landonham.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it wasn't the right pick at the time, but it ended up being a very valuable player for the Jacksonville Jaguars just based on his balance, his ability to be a weapon as a blocker and space and cracking on safeties and linebackers and corners.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Man, even, you know, blocking at the line of scrimmage against edges, he looked good in this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to Britain's strange, very, very strong start to the 2025 campaign.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And as exciting as those players on offense were, I mean, these defensive guys were right there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just as good, I would say, foil, Luke and two force turnovers in this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He intercepted the Eric Murray, the ball, Eric Murray, you know, probably showing rolling out, tries to hit a guy on the move.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Eric Murray is there to defend it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's closing on it, like super fast, very instinctive, and pops it up into the Airfoil, Luke, and converts on that, and then another play early on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: FOIA gets that peanut punch on Bryce Young pops that ball out and not only did he have the huge game-changing turnover plays, but he also had the down-to-down consistency in coverage and especially against the run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, led the team in tackles with ten, had a tackle for loss, I believe, as well in there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a really good day for FOIA, Luke, and let's see, did he end up having that

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not seeing that here, but I think he did, and he also had four stops, and a stop according to PFF is a play that constitutes a failure for the offense, a play that helps you get off the field, a play that just doesn't help the offense move the ball forward, anything like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, special performance by him overall, in my opinion, for a Luke and somebody who I've just been a huge fan of for a very long time,

  [SPEAKER_00]: here in Jacksonville from a leadership and on field play perspective they were utilizing him in the right way in this one and he played great.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's a number of defensive players who are not going to be standouts that we're not going to dive into their game fully here, but I'll mention a couple of them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Devin Lloyd, Eric Murray, Dennis Gardeck, Andrew Winger, and I thought Tyson Campbell had a good game as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of guys, but I think I think Traveham Walker played really well too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Eric Armstrong stood did some good things, but the two other guys that I really want to highlight, Jordan Lewis, the intensity he plays with, he did of course have the holding on the Do We Wingered pick six that got called back, which really sucks, but he picked up the forced fumble from FOIA, Luke and

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he made a great one-handed, you know, diving in reception, which is the type of place we've seen him make all camp and pre-season, and for him to continue doing that in this game, and I'll say it again, it was against the Carolina Panthers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was not against the Cincinnati Bengals or the San Francisco 49ers or the Chiefs or the Texans or any of these really good teams, which these teams look like they may be struggling at the moment with different things, who knows very early in the season, but

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jack Wars did what they needed to do against the opponent they had, and speaking of getting it done, Josh Hines Allen, seven pressures.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You want to see the sacks, of course.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He wants to see the sacks, of course.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Bryce Young is a very mobile quarterback, like his ability to maneuver the pocket, get out on the run, and make some guys miss, is impressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Kudos to him for that part of his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Josh Heinz Allen, seven pressures according to PFF, I think he had eight according to next gen stats or ESPN.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was wreaking havoc off the edge.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was moving Bryce Young off his spot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was disrupting the timing, the rhythm of the offense, almost every single passing drop back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was, even on the ones he didn't get pressures, like he was generating push into the backfield and drive on walker, generally generated a lot of push as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So those are the defensive standouts

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have a much more difficult test this weekend, but past the first test with flying colors, the defense did.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Anthony Camponele deserves a lot of credit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it was Liam Cohen, both of these guys for doing a great job calling offenses and defenses, respectively, that keep the opponent on their toes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You don't exactly know what you're getting pre-snap and that goes a long way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now the players who need to improve, in my opinion, two of them in offense, one of them on defense, both Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I put more of the issues between Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: miss whatever you want to call it down the field in a section by chasing on unbelievable play by J.C.

  [SPEAKER_00]: However, if that ball is a foot, a higher trajectory, a six inches higher trajectory, that's a touchdown instead of an interception, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence on the first play to Brian Thomas Jr., he threw it up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He thought Brian Thomas Jr is going to come down with that football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't like poor ball placement.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't at his face mask or at his shoulders, but it was at his midsection.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One play where I thought for sure Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: should have come down with it was the outrout on the offensive right side down the field, one on one coverage, BT had to go up for it a little bit, but I 9 out of 10 times Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: wasn't like a full extension for the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One of his feet caught up with the defender and didn't come down in bounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that connections got to get going because if this offense wants to reach its peak, wants to be as good as it can be, which of course they all do, that has to be better.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then my one defender who I really need to see more from is Jarian Jones, who he did not play negatively from an effort standpoint.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought he brought it like his typical high energy like that's what Jarian Jones brings in effort, intensity, swagger, confidence,

  [SPEAKER_00]: to this point it doesn't seem like Tyson Campbell is going to be following a number one receiver around so jarian if he's out there is going to have to get the job done in my opinion at a little bit of a higher level against even better competition.
