- 0:11Dan Andros is here to talk Israel and Bad Bunny,
- 0:13two
- 0:14completely related topics.
- 0:16The new illegal border crossing numbers are out.
- 0:18We'll see how President Trump is doing there.
- 0:20We're gonna start by doing the real cost of Obamacare.
- 0:23Ah,
- 0:24Ash,
- 0:25Obamacare has been way too much of a part of my life.
- 0:28You know,
- 0:28there for the passage,
- 0:30you know,
- 0:30we started on Fox News right before
- 0:32it was really,
- 0:34you know,
- 0:34argued about and eventually passed.
- 0:36I was on the air during the Supreme Court
- 0:39ruling
- 0:40when that came out.
- 0:41I remember trying to explain that to
- 0:44everybody about how it was not a good ruling,
- 0:46even though a lot of places were recording it
- 0:48as a good ruling for conservatives at that moment.
- 0:50Um,
- 0:51it was a weird time,
- 0:52a weird time.
- 0:53And then of course the attempts at
- 0:55getting rid of it,
- 0:56the John McCain thumbs down,
- 0:59uh,
- 0:59and then,
- 1:00you know,
- 1:00typical,
- 1:01as we predicted at the very beginning,
- 1:03Republicans now starting to jump on board and saying,
- 1:05oh,
- 1:05actually,
- 1:06it's great.
- 1:06Well,
- 1:07you know,
- 1:07this is what you expect out of a big program every single time.
- 1:10Jon Stewart was talking about this whole thing,
- 1:12and the reason why I bring up Obamacare is because of the shutdown.
- 1:15This is a very Obamacare related.
- 1:17Uh,
- 1:18this is like our 19th shutdown due to some aspect of Obamacare.
- 1:22This time it's because the Democrats want to spend more money.
- 1:25Jon Stewart skewers Democrats for poor leadership,
- 1:28but
- 1:29Republican-led government shutdown.
- 1:30I mean,
- 1:30I don't know.
- 1:31Did he do that?
- 1:32Here's him skewering Democrats.
- 1:35And while people in the country legally are not eligible
- 1:38for Medicaid
- 1:40or for Obamacare subsidies,
- 1:41I got to address that
- 1:42point taken.
- 1:44But the Democrats aren't lily livered about this one.
- 1:47They've got their own rhetorical arguments
- 1:48about the popularity of extending these subsidies
- 1:51that I think you'll find compelling.
- 1:53Democrats
- 1:54are
- 1:54adamant that we must protect the healthcare of the American people.
- 2:06Uh.
- 2:09Good points.
- 2:13I mean,
- 2:13if you're not watching that show,
- 2:14I don't know how you're missing it.
- 2:15That's a must-watch television,
- 2:17uh,
- 2:18as you,
- 2:18as you could tell right there.
- 2:19By the way.
- 2:21Yes,
- 2:21there are parts of Obamacare that,
- 2:23you know,
- 2:24make it seem like illegals can't get any money because of it.
- 2:27This is all because
- 2:28if you have a big pile of money and you have to give it to your citizens in your state,
- 2:32and,
- 2:33uh,
- 2:34that's what you're going to do with it,
- 2:35and then you get a big chunk of money from Obamacare,
- 2:38from the federal government,
- 2:39you then can give that other money that you're
- 2:41going to give to your citizens to illegal immigrants,
- 2:43and that's how the money gets to illegal immigrants.
- 2:45Anybody who looks at this has known this.
- 2:47This is a very widely known argument,
- 2:49but.
- 2:50I suppose we're not going to bother addressing that.
- 2:53Anyway,
- 2:54uh,
- 2:54more from Jon Stewart,
- 2:56here he is talking
- 2:58about the shutdown and how it began.
- 3:01Now as you'll recall,
- 3:03the shutdown began
- 3:04because in order to pass a budget bill in the Senate,
- 3:07you need 60 votes,
- 3:08as the founders
- 3:10never mentioned
- 3:11and.
- 3:12So Democrats have come forth with a laundry list of demands
- 3:17to force the Republicans,
- 3:18I'm just kidding,
- 3:19they want like two things.
- 3:21Democrats demanding that Republicans reverse cuts to Medicaid
- 3:24and extend expiring Obamacare subsidies to prevent insurance
- 3:28premiums from rising for some 20 million Americans.
- 3:31Those bastards.
- 3:34It's like they don't even want people to die of generally preventable diseases.
- 3:41There's Jon Stewart,
- 3:43with another incredible point.
- 3:44By the way,
- 3:45the two things that they want,
- 3:46we're going to go into here in,
- 3:48in just a moment,
- 3:49um,
- 3:50but
- 3:51you're going to be surprised to hear,
- 3:52that's not a fair way of presenting what they want.
- 3:54Uh,
- 3:54that's a shocking development,
- 3:56I know.
- 3:56Now Republicans are now facing
- 3:57pressure to consider Democrats' healthcare demands
- 4:00as shutdown drags on.
- 4:01Uh,
- 4:02Susan Collins is shopping around a folding proposal.
- 4:05She wants to fold on this.
- 4:06Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to fold on this.
- 4:08So there's gonna be,
- 4:09of course,
- 4:10uh,
- 4:10you know,
- 4:10some people on the right that are going to just kind of,
- 4:13you know.
- 4:15Do the thing that Republicans usually do in these moments,
- 4:18which is give up and give in for whatever the Democrats want.
- 4:21That's,
- 4:22you know,
- 4:22obviously a very
- 4:23common
- 4:24theme of these moments.
- 4:25Now what's interesting about this
- 4:27is what they're actually trying to get here,
- 4:29and we've talked so much about the shutdown and the politics of the shutdown.
- 4:32Who's responsible for it,
- 4:33how is it going to play out,
- 4:34all this other stuff.
- 4:36And we haven't really gone into
- 4:38what the Democrats are asking for.
- 4:39Why?
- 4:40Because we obviously know it's not real,
- 4:41right?
- 4:42Like they,
- 4:42the Democrats already folded on a shutdown already.
- 4:45They could have brought this stuff up then.
- 4:46Uh,
- 4:46they're asking for some stuff that hasn't even expired yet,
- 4:49um,
- 4:50you know,
- 4:50but it is,
- 4:51and they just keep referring to it as healthcare.
- 4:53Now,
- 4:53the only real thing that,
- 4:55uh,
- 4:56Republicans have said
- 4:57about this healthcare proposal.
- 4:59That the Democrats want is
- 5:01they want to give a bunch of illegal immigrants healthcare,
- 5:03and as I just explained,
- 5:05yes,
- 5:05that is part of it,
- 5:06it's possible that that can happen,
- 5:08it's probable,
- 5:09and it has happened,
- 5:10as we pointed out before,
- 5:11going back to Obamacare in 2009,
- 5:14I think it was,
- 5:17uh,
- 5:17was the moment where Congressman Wilson yelled,
- 5:18you lie
- 5:19to Barack Obama.
- 5:20The,
- 5:21the topic of that moment,
- 5:22if you remember during the State of the Union,
- 5:24was.
- 5:25Illegals getting healthcare.
- 5:27That was the topic of it.
- 5:28In 2016,
- 5:30Hillary Clinton ran for president
- 5:33with the
- 5:34on her website as part of her
- 5:37campaign platform,
- 5:38giving illegal immigrants
- 5:40healthcare money from Obamacare.
- 5:41It was actually on her site to make sure that everyone gets it.
- 5:44We just saw Maxine Waters say,
- 5:46we want everyone to get healthcare.
- 5:48When asked,
- 5:48Do you want illegals to get it?
- 5:49We want everyone to get it.
- 5:51This is quite
- 5:53obvious what they want,
- 5:55and this is one way of doing it.
- 5:56If you throw a bunch of money at these
- 5:59programs
- 6:00at the states,
- 6:00it frees up the states to give,
- 6:02mostly blue states,
- 6:03gives up the blue states the freedom to be able to
- 6:07take the money that they already have and give that money
- 6:10to illegal immigrants,
- 6:11and they can say,
- 6:12oh,
- 6:12it's not this pile of money,
- 6:13it's from this pile of money,
- 6:15as if that makes one iota of difference.
- 6:18It doesn't,
- 6:19it doesn't matter.
- 6:20Uh,
- 6:20the point is we should,
- 6:21they shouldn't be getting this money if they're illegal.
- 6:23So,
- 6:24the Washington Post decides to go after this,
- 6:27and you know what this is going to be like,
- 6:28right?
- 6:28The Washington Post is going to write an op ed,
- 6:30not from just some
- 6:31liberal columnist or conservative columnist,
- 6:33but
- 6:34from the actual editorial board,
- 6:35the official position of the editorial section of the Washington Post.
- 6:39This is gonna be fun,
- 6:40right?
- 6:41Well,
- 6:42kind of is.
- 6:43The Shutdown Conversation no one wants
- 6:46is the title of it,
- 6:47and that doesn't sound all that wonderful,
- 6:48but let me give you some excerpts from it because,
- 6:51It's kind of a shocking moment in,
- 6:53I don't know,
- 6:53American history,
- 6:54because they're saying things like this.
- 6:56President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats used COVID-19
- 6:59to justify
- 7:00chasing the mirage of European-style welfare state without
- 7:04raising the necessary taxes to pay for it.
- 7:07Now,
- 7:07prodded by the left,
- 7:08party leaders have shut down the government
- 7:10in a bid to permanently extend what was sold in 2021
- 7:14as emergency subsidies to help people struggling
- 7:16during the pandemic to afford health insurance.
- 7:19What the hell did I just read?
- 7:21That's the Washington Post.
- 7:23That's shocking.
- 7:25They're admitting.
- 7:26The truth.
- 7:29They've decided saying things that are true is an option.
- 7:31When did they start with that craziness
- 7:35again,
- 7:35first of all,
- 7:36presenting it as a
- 7:38the Democrats shutting down the government,
- 7:39which of course is what's happening here.
- 7:42And look,
- 7:42you know.
- 7:43Republicans could just give in and reopen it,
- 7:46right?
- 7:47That's the debate,
- 7:48but it is the Democrats taking in this particular case,
- 7:51the action to make sure that
- 7:53we don't just continue spending money at the,
- 7:55uh,
- 7:55you know,
- 7:56pathway to hell we were previously spending on,
- 7:58which is what the Republicans want.
- 7:59Again,
- 7:59there's no good guys here.
- 8:01Republicans are saying,
- 8:02hey,
- 8:03this unsustainable thing we have going on,
- 8:04we should continue it.
- 8:06That's the Republican position here.
- 8:07They're not saying,
- 8:08hey,
- 8:08we should cut stuff by 80%,
- 8:10like they probably should.
- 8:11Now they're like,
- 8:12we'll just continue doing all the crap that we're doing now
- 8:15that is devastating us and throwing us into
- 8:17debt and creating all sorts of long-term problems.
- 8:19And Democrats are saying,
- 8:21well,
- 8:21what if we make it worse?
- 8:23Those are the two sides of this.
- 8:25Just so you know,
- 8:26but again,
- 8:27talking about this
- 8:28accurately is kind of a shocking thing.
- 8:31They go on,
- 8:31the US national debt stands at $37.9 trillion a
- 8:35figure that dwarfs the annual gross domestic product of every
- 8:38other
- 8:38country.
- 8:39It has grown dramatically since the pandemic.
- 8:41In the 2019 fiscal year,
- 8:43the federal government spent $5.47 trillion but took in only $4.26 trillion.
- 8:49Five years later,
- 8:50spending clocked in at $6.75 trillion as revenue failed
- 8:53to keep up with this dramatic expansion
- 8:56of government.
- 8:57And that's what we're in the middle of,
- 8:58right?
- 9:00We had
- 9:00a growing government,
- 9:02a government that was growing
- 9:03pretty quickly,
- 9:04and that's during Donald Trump's first term.
- 9:07Also,
- 9:07of course,
- 9:07during Obama and Bush,
- 9:09and it's been going on forever,
- 9:10but Donald Trump did not reverse that.
- 9:12He didn't run on that,
- 9:13to be fair.
- 9:13That was never a high priority of his.
- 9:15You know,
- 9:16there's been lip service at moments given to things like Doge,
- 9:18but in general,
- 9:19especially in 2016,
- 9:21it really wasn't his priority.
- 9:22He was talking about other things.
- 9:24He got into office and he
- 9:26lived up to what he promised during the campaign.
- 9:28He did not go after spending,
- 9:29he did not go after cutting things in the government generally.
- 9:32Now cutting regulations,
- 9:33he did do a pretty good job at that.
- 9:35Uh,
- 9:35he's certainly done a good job on the border and many other things over the years,
- 9:38but it's just not his focus.
- 9:39It's just not something he cares about.
- 9:41I mean,
- 9:41this is a guy that called himself the king of debt,
- 9:44right?
- 9:44This is just
- 9:45who he is,
- 9:45and,
- 9:45and,
- 9:46and that's been known since the beginning.
- 9:48Um.
- 9:49I don't like that part of him,
- 9:50but that is,
- 9:51that's the truth.
- 9:52Gushers of borrowed money
- 9:54flowed toward expanding food stamps,
- 9:56Medicaid eligibility,
- 9:58veterans' benefits,
- 9:59and student debt forgiveness.
- 10:00Rising interest rates compound the costs.
- 10:02Ultimately,
- 10:03the United States will need to grow its way out of this debt,
- 10:05but fiscal irresponsibility makes that
- 10:08harder.
- 10:09And so.
- 10:10You think about the expansions,
- 10:11it was already expanding during Trump,
- 10:13gets into Biden,
- 10:13obviously gets much,
- 10:14much worse.
- 10:15He passes two massive bills,
- 10:17among other things,
- 10:18but the American Recovery Act,
- 10:21I think it was.
- 10:22And the Inflation Reduction Act.
- 10:24I might have the Act or bill or whatever it was called messed up there,
- 10:28but those are the two main things
- 10:30that massively,
- 10:32massively expanded
- 10:33government and spending.
- 10:34And remember it was after it was already passed.
- 10:37They were like,
- 10:37by the way,
- 10:38this is actually a green bill.
- 10:40There's lots of that stuff in there as well,
- 10:41but there wasn't just that.
- 10:43Yet Democrats have demanded that Republicans agree to extend COVID era
- 10:47insurance subsidies without proposing any way to pay for it.
- 10:50Congressional Budget Office estimates this will cost
- 10:52$350 billion over the next decade.
- 10:54These temporary benefits were included in the American rescue plan,
- 10:57plan,
- 10:57that's right,
- 10:58not act,
- 10:58plan
- 10:59of March 2021 and extended the next year into the
- 11:02misnamed Inflation Reduction Act until the end of 2025.
- 11:04Again,
- 11:05note the the tone of this.
- 11:08Like
- 11:09the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act,
- 11:11that's of course true.
- 11:13It is something that Biden admitted,
- 11:16but when do you get that
- 11:17analysis from the Washington Post?
- 11:20I'm shocked to hear them talking about this like this.
- 11:22Uh,
- 11:23maybe
- 11:23the whole Jeff Bezos we're going to actually focus on free markets thing was real.
- 11:28Uh,
- 11:28I don't know.
- 11:29I,
- 11:29I,
- 11:29I don't know.
- 11:30I hope it is.
- 11:31They did just hire Dominic Pino,
- 11:32who's been on the show many times.
- 11:34Excited about that.
- 11:35That's a really good hire for them.
- 11:36Hopefully they're going down a good road,
- 11:38um.
- 11:39But
- 11:40again,
- 11:41this is what's key here,
- 11:42and it's not being covered all that much
- 11:44when it comes to these bills.
- 11:46And Republicans aren't talking about it.
- 11:48They're like,
- 11:48oh,
- 11:48illegal immigration,
- 11:49uh,
- 11:49they could get the illegal immigrants might get some of this money.
- 11:51And again,
- 11:52that's,
- 11:52that's true.
- 11:54But like,
- 11:55I don't think the most important thing,
- 11:57the most important thing is this.
- 11:59This was a
- 12:00the thing they're talking about,
- 12:01and they call it,
- 12:03you'll see this phrase all over the coverage on it,
- 12:05enhanced Obamacare subsidies,
- 12:07enhanced ACA subsidies,
- 12:09the uh the uh the Affordable Care Act.
- 12:13Enhanced,
- 12:14that's the word,
- 12:15enhanced.
- 12:15And of course,
- 12:17I mean,
- 12:18do you like enhanced things,
- 12:19I suppose,
- 12:20I mean maybe you put in vitamins in your food that's enhanced with vitamins.
- 12:24Uh,
- 12:24maybe you're,
- 12:25uh,
- 12:25Jeffy's selling some wonderful pills for male enhancement,
- 12:28I'm sure
- 12:29somewhere off the corner of a street near you,
- 12:31you could always get those from Jeffy.
- 12:33Enhancement generally indicated
- 12:35is a good thing.
- 12:37They're enhanced subsidies,
- 12:39what does that mean
- 12:40in this particular instance?
- 12:42Well,
- 12:43if you're guessing they're larger,
- 12:45just like Jeffy's promised from his pills,
- 12:47yes,
- 12:47that's,
- 12:48that's,
- 12:48that's probably true.
- 12:50Uh,
- 12:50enhancement in that case,
- 12:52much,
- 12:52much larger,
- 12:53but
- 12:53also
- 12:54important to note,
- 12:56they were supposed to be
- 12:57temporary.
- 12:58They were supposed to be,
- 13:00I keep coming up with too many jokes about Jeffy's pills.
- 13:02I apologize.
- 13:02If they last more than 4 hours,
- 13:04make sure you go to the hospital.
- 13:05But what I'm saying here
- 13:06is when you enhance something and it's temporary,
- 13:08it's supposed to go away.
- 13:10It's supposed to be something that comes
- 13:12and it goes.
- 13:13In this case,
- 13:14we all remember
- 13:15COVID.
- 13:16We all remember
- 13:18things we were told
- 13:20that were supposed to go away,
- 13:21right?
- 13:22It's 2 weeks to slow the spread,
- 13:24it's 6 weeks to slow the spread.
- 13:27Maybe Donald Trump was saying we'd be back in school by Easter,
- 13:30but
- 13:31generally speaking,
- 13:32these closures went on.
- 13:33You have to wear masks
- 13:35all the time.
- 13:36You're not allowed to be within 6 ft of other people.
- 13:39Indoor dining is closed.
- 13:40These were all things,
- 13:42and you can go back and you can think about how you felt about those.
- 13:45Some people will be like,
- 13:46yeah,
- 13:46I was scared in that moment.
- 13:47Some people will say,
- 13:48gosh,
- 13:48that was so stupid,
- 13:49and we should have never done any of that stuff.
- 13:50I never did it.
- 13:51Whatever your position is on that,
- 13:54everyone understood that when the pandemic goes away,
- 13:56this stuff goes away,
- 13:57right?
- 13:58Now,
- 13:58of course,
- 13:59you can walk around town and you can see somebody in an N95 mask outdoors
- 14:04in 100 degree heat here in Texas,
- 14:06you can still see that.
- 14:08There are some people who will keep those things around for the end of time.
- 14:11Those people
- 14:13in the N95 masks walking around outside,
- 14:16those people are the Democrats in this debate.
- 14:19What they're asking for
- 14:21is a COVID and enhanced
- 14:23Obamacare subsidy
- 14:25that was put into the American rescue plan in 2021.
- 14:29And then what's going to expire,
- 14:31and then they extended it in the Inflation Reduction Act to go to 2025.
- 14:37These are
- 14:38COVID-specific
- 14:40subsidies that were supposed to help in the middle of a pandemic.
- 14:42And of course now the Democrats are saying we want to get out of that.
- 14:45We've got to get out of that,
- 14:47what we used to have and get into this new thing that we're in now.
- 14:50This is the only thing.
- 14:51Forget,
- 14:52forget that old thing.
- 14:53What is that old thing?
- 14:54That old thing
- 14:56is Obamacare.
- 14:57The catastrophic situation Democrats are warning about
- 15:01is their healthcare plan as passed.
- 15:04That's what it is.
- 15:05What we're talking about is returning
- 15:08to Obamacare as it existed
- 15:11when Obamacare was passed by Obama.
- 15:14That's what we're talking about now.
- 15:16There have been tweaks and changes here and there around the edges,
- 15:20but generally speaking,
- 15:21we're going back to the old days
- 15:23of the program that Democrats promised you last
- 15:26time was going to solve all these issues.
- 15:29Did it?
- 15:31No,
- 15:31of course the answer to that
- 15:33is no.
- 15:34The real problem,
- 15:35as the Washington Post points out,
- 15:38the real problem is that the Affordable Care Act was never
- 15:42actually affordable.
- 15:44I'm going to read that line again
- 15:46because I sound like myself in 2010.
- 15:49But actually what I'm doing is reading the Washington Post in 2025.
- 15:54The real problem is that the Affordable Care Act was never
- 15:57actually affordable.
- 15:59President Barack Obama's signature achievement allowed people to buy
- 16:02insurance on marketplaces with subsidies based on their income.
- 16:05The architects of the program assumed
- 16:08that risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be.
- 16:12As a result,
- 16:13policies cost more
- 16:14than expected,
- 16:15expected by
- 16:16whom?
- 16:18Not me.
- 16:19Not me,
- 16:19not Glenn Beck,
- 16:20not the blaze,
- 16:22not all of the analysis done by
- 16:24conservative think tanks that went over all of this stuff at the time.
- 16:29No,
- 16:29no,
- 16:30no,
- 16:30we did not get an Affordable Care Act.
- 16:32We got Obamacare,
- 16:33which expanded the government's role in healthcare,
- 16:36increased your prices,
- 16:37and made your healthcare
- 16:38a disaster,
- 16:39a disaster that is so terrible
- 16:41that today's Democrats are warning you that we might have to go back to it.
- 16:47To salvage the problem,
- 16:49Democrats expanded subsidies to entice more people to buy plans.
- 16:52Many poor families wound up getting insurance for free,
- 16:55and the rolls grew.
- 16:5524 million people now have coverage to the ACA exchanges.
- 16:58People earning more than 400% of the poverty line,
- 17:01about $129,000
- 17:04for a family of four would see their subsidies go away.
- 17:07Oh gosh,
- 17:08all those poor people who are making six figures
- 17:11might not get free money for the government for their healthcare.
- 17:15What a tragedy.
- 17:16Democrats picked this fight because they see healthcare as a winning issue.
- 17:19Post poll conducted in the first day of the shutdown found
- 17:21that 71% of Americans say federal insurance subsidies should be expended,
- 17:25extended,
- 17:26while 29% say they should
- 17:28end as scheduled.
- 17:29Just as significantly,
- 17:29the question divides Republicans.
- 17:3138% support extending the subsidies,
- 17:33and 62% want them to end.
- 17:34This of course was the massive thing that
- 17:35we warned about at the beginning of Obamacare,
- 17:38that once you start giving
- 17:39thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to people,
- 17:42they generally don't want to stop receiving it.
- 17:45That's how every program lasts forever.
- 17:48and they don't become ideological
- 17:50issues after a period of time
- 17:52because people just like free money.
- 17:54You look at Marjorie Taylor Greene's comments on this.
- 17:56Well,
- 17:57you know,
- 17:57she's like,
- 17:57well,
- 17:57this is what the American people want.
- 17:59Well,
- 17:59of course it's what they want.
- 18:00Everyone wants free stuff.
- 18:03The question is,
- 18:04is it the right thing to do?
- 18:06I would argue no.
- 18:08And of course,
- 18:08this is why the Democrats were willing to do
- 18:10the thing they did when they passed Obamacare.
- 18:12Remember,
- 18:12they couldn't get the,
- 18:13the votes that they needed
- 18:15after,
- 18:15uh,
- 18:16Scott Brown won in,
- 18:17in,
- 18:18uh,
- 18:18Massachusetts.
- 18:19And you had that situation with Nancy Pelosi standing in front of America saying,
- 18:23well,
- 18:23we don't care what we'll have to do,
- 18:24we'll have to pole vault over the wall.
- 18:26Whatever we have to do to get to the other side of this,
- 18:28you'll find out what's in it after it's signed.
- 18:30Don't worry about it.
- 18:31Because once they get this through,
- 18:32it's going to last forever.
- 18:33They knew this,
- 18:34and it's now expanding and expanding and expanding again to the point
- 18:38that we expanded it again during COVID,
- 18:41and the thought of going back to their giant government program is so tragic
- 18:47that we must extend the program even farther.
- 18:49It's always the way this works.
- 18:52This is how entitlements programs work,
- 18:54as the Washington Post writes.
- 18:56Once you habituate people into some generous government handout,
- 18:59they grow dependent on it,
- 19:01and it becomes politically
- 19:02perilous,
- 19:02if not impossible to fully claw it back.
- 19:05Conservatives fought so hard to stop Obamacare
- 19:0715 years ago because they anticipated fights
- 19:09like this one.
- 19:10Yeah,
- 19:10we did.
- 19:11We did fight hard.
- 19:12And now conservatives
- 19:13are out there saying we need to extend this stuff,
- 19:15we need to keep going with it.
- 19:18These are the enhanced
- 19:19ACA subsidies you'll be hearing a lot about if we get
- 19:22to the policy part of this discussion at any point.
- 19:25But notice we're not getting the part right now
- 19:27about how all the people are out of work.
- 19:29We're hearing threats from Donald Trump about this.
- 19:31We're saying Donald Trump is the bad guy,
- 19:33but we're not getting the typical sob stories about the party out of power,
- 19:37keeping these people out of their jobs,
- 19:38because this time it's not convenient to show that.
- 19:40I will say,
- 19:41if you think about it this way.
- 19:43This is,
- 19:43if you think about,
- 19:44basically you have new Obamacare and Obamacare Classic,
- 19:48and what the left is saying right now is we have
- 19:50to shut the government down because we really love New Coke.
- 19:53We really love new Obamacare.
- 19:56And what the conservatives are saying,
- 19:57the conservatives are saying
- 19:59is let's go back to Obamacare classic.
- 20:03That's how freaking ridiculous and how far lost we are.
- 20:07By the way,
- 20:08when you ask the American people,
- 20:09do they want
- 20:11these COVID programs to still be in effect,
- 20:14they overwhelmingly say no.
- 20:15Americans want COVID-19 era policies to sunset.
- 20:1860.5% of Americans agree
- 20:22the federal government should allow programs that were designed
- 20:24to deliberately address the problems created by the COVID-19 pandemic
- 20:28to sunset and put those funds into more pressing issues facing Americans.
- 20:33So there you go.
- 20:3560%.
- 20:36This is a pretty popular issue
- 20:37and for some reason the Republicans are not talking about it like this at all.
- 20:40They're left to the Washington Post
- 20:42to make these arguments for us.
- 20:46Unbelievable
- 20:48This is so predictable
- 20:49and so pathetic.
- 20:50At the end of the day,
- 20:51what we're talking about are massive,
- 20:54massive giveaways,
- 20:55hundreds of billions of dollars
- 20:58specifically
- 20:59designed to be utilized
- 21:01only during the COVID pandemic.
- 21:04That now is being presented to you from everywhere in the media
- 21:09as this horrible
- 21:12takeaway by Republicans.
- 21:14These poor people,
- 21:15all they want to do is get their money
- 21:17from Obamacare and have healthcare that they can afford.
- 21:21And the only reason,
- 21:21of course,
- 21:22they can't afford it is because we passed a terrible plan years ago,
- 21:25and now our horror show on the left
- 21:28is to present to you a possible return to our own plan.
- 21:33This is the insanity of our world today.
- 21:37I hope you enjoy it.
- 21:39Well,
- 21:39as I say,
- 21:39maybe Dan Andros
- 21:40uh can get,
- 21:41bring some sanity
- 21:43uh into uh this conversation.
- 21:45He's gonna join us
- 21:46next.
- 21:56My son has become,
- 21:58become,
- 21:58uh,
- 21:59one of these kids that decides he wants to get
- 22:01up and work out in the morning before school.
- 22:03I,
- 22:03I don't know what,
- 22:03I,
- 22:04I mean,
- 22:04obviously this has to be the mailman or something,
- 22:06right?
- 22:06It can't be my kid.
- 22:07Uh,
- 22:08anyway,
- 22:08he's up there now,
- 22:09he wanted to get up super early.
- 22:10I gotta bring him over to the gym
- 22:11in the morning now,
- 22:12which cuts an extra hour of sleep
- 22:14that I already didn't have.
- 22:15So I will tell you,
- 22:16you might notice the show,
- 22:17a little bit nutty today,
- 22:18uh,
- 22:19because my brain isn't really working and I'm half asleep.
- 22:21I honestly need to get to sleep a lot earlier,
- 22:24and to do that,
- 22:24it's difficult,
- 22:25right?
- 22:25Because sometimes,
- 22:26you know,
- 22:27get to bed at those earlier hours,
- 22:28if you're used to staying up to 1112,
- 22:301
- 22:30in the morning,
- 22:32you know,
- 22:32you,
- 22:32you can't get going because your,
- 22:33your your internal clock is like,
- 22:34no,
- 22:35it's not time yet.

- 23:14uh,
- 23:16what is it apigenin?
- 23:17I don't remember how to pronounce that one.
- 23:18I don't know.
- 23:19Melatonin,
- 23:19I've heard of that one.
- 23:20A bunch,

- 24:19just enter the promo code stew into the air and you'll get it.
- 24:23OK,
- 24:23good,
- 24:23congratulations.
- 24:24Um,
- 24:24I wanna talk to you because you actually had a big,
- 24:26uh,
- 24:26live stream which was free,
- 24:27by the way,
- 24:28uh,
- 24:28um,
- 24:29talking about the Israeli-Palestinian situation,
- 24:31everything that's going on in the Middle East.
- 24:33So,
- 24:33you know,
- 24:34don't leave us hanging.
- 24:35Did you,
- 24:35did you solve it?
- 24:37Yes,
- 24:37it's all solved.
- 24:38Uh,
- 24:39everyone loves Israel now.
- 24:41I did,
- 24:42I saw all of the,
- 24:43uh,
- 24:43Muslim nations around there were just like,
- 24:45yay,
- 24:46let's all sip tea together.
- 24:48Uh,
- 24:48so it's happening.
- 24:49Yeah,
- 24:50no,
- 24:50uh,
- 24:51interestingly,
- 24:51not,
- 24:51you know what was crazy,
- 24:52Stu,
- 24:52we were going back.
- 24:53I went through some of the timelines of just how things unfolded,
- 24:56and I kind of had this,
- 24:58and maybe this was just wishful thinking on my part,
- 25:01but I had this idea that there was like a week.
- 25:04Where people were like,
- 25:05wow,
- 25:06that was really bad,
- 25:07uh,
- 25:07before they started yelling at the Jews.
- 25:09Yeah,
- 25:10I kind of remember that a little bit.
- 25:11No,
- 25:12that that didn't happen.
- 25:14Nope.
- 25:14Uh,
- 25:15I'm like,
- 25:15when did these campus protests start?
- 25:17Uh,
- 25:18you'll be shocked to learn they started on October 8th,
- 25:22uh,
- 25:23where they were,
- 25:23and I don't have the list in front of me of which one was first,
- 25:26but you know,
- 25:26they,
- 25:26they sent a letter saying stand in solidarity with,
- 25:29you know,
- 25:30Palestinians and.
- 25:31You know,
- 25:31they had the,
- 25:32the red symbol there for Hamas at some of these like a couple of days later,
- 25:37one day,
- 25:38one day,
- 25:39and like I think one of the things that statements that they said was
- 25:43that
- 25:43all the violence from here forward is all completely on Israel.
- 25:47Like they were saying this on October 8th.
- 25:49It's just like you people,
- 25:51wait,
- 25:51but October 7th,
- 25:53that was the attack from the Palestinians,
- 25:54the Hamas members.
- 25:56Why would it be on Israel?
- 25:58Right,
- 25:59well then they made a statement saying,
- 26:01OK.
- 26:03What we're gonna do here is blame Israel for everything going forward,
- 26:06as if,
- 26:06like,
- 26:07I mean,
- 26:07it'd be like walking up to somebody and shooting them or punching them or whatever
- 26:11and then going,
- 26:12anything you do back,
- 26:13that's your fault,
- 26:13buddy,
- 26:14right?
- 26:15Well,
- 26:15it doesn't work that way.
- 26:16One of the things that was most frustrating about this whole thing,
- 26:18we went through this on the monologue yesterday a little bit,
- 26:19but
- 26:20like.
- 26:21What's
- 26:22the worst part of all this
- 26:24is their plan from the beginning was to antagonize Israel
- 26:29and obviously do all this damage,
- 26:31which was somewhat of a side benefit.
- 26:33Their real goal was to create a conflict in which Israel would
- 26:36have no choice but to come in there and destroy them.
- 26:38And while that was going on,
- 26:39the world would turn against Israel because eventually
- 26:42they'd just hold these hostages and it would go on and on and on and on.
- 26:45And the world would do
- 26:47what the world always does with Israel and the Jews,
- 26:50and that's what's happened here.
- 26:52And
- 26:52you see these countries awarding Palestinian statehood,
- 26:56at least in some symbolic way.
- 26:58This is what they were going for in the
- 27:00first place and we're rewarding them for October 7th.
- 27:03Yeah,
- 27:04and,
- 27:04and all of it's based too on like this,
- 27:06these genocide claims.
- 27:07Now obviously horrible things happen in war,
- 27:10right?
- 27:10But hey,
- 27:10here's an idea,
- 27:11don't attack people.
- 27:13I mean,
- 27:13maybe you won't get attacked back.
- 27:15I mean,
- 27:15I,
- 27:16it's just a crazy idea I have.
- 27:18But then,
- 27:19you know,
- 27:19people are quoting the
- 27:21Gazan Health Ministry as if it's gospel,
- 27:25and time and time again they're just proved to be lying about this stuff and.
- 27:30You know,
- 27:30one of the barometers I always point to,
- 27:32Stu,
- 27:32is,
- 27:32you know,
- 27:32when Israel would do something wrong,
- 27:34like,
- 27:35uh,
- 27:35those journalists were killed in one of the attacks and it was a mistake,
- 27:39they like fired the generals or the officers that
- 27:42were in charge of that and apologize for that.
- 27:45Where is Hamas ever apologizing for anything?
- 27:48Where is Hamas going,
- 27:48you know what,
- 27:49our bad for,
- 27:50uh,
- 27:50just going in and slaughtering innocent people.
- 27:53And it's not just,
- 27:54oh,
- 27:55they killed some and we killed some,
- 27:57and this and that.
- 27:59Look at October 7th.
- 28:01They were running around
- 28:03with demonic glee,
- 28:06filming it,
- 28:08uh,
- 28:08humiliating and torturing and abusing just beyond comprehension.
- 28:13Not just
- 28:14killing people is bad enough,
- 28:16but they were purposely
- 28:17trying to humiliate and desecrate these people.
- 28:21And they're just not even the same.
- 28:24It's not even close,
- 28:25and,
- 28:25and it's just pathetic that the world can't see that.
- 28:28Yeah,
- 28:28Joe putting them,
- 28:29their dead corpses around in the back of trucks and
- 28:32just driving them around for display like it was,
- 28:35like,
- 28:35you know,
- 28:36some prize they'd won.
- 28:38That was Shan.
- 28:38Luke,
- 28:39by the way,
- 28:39Stu,
- 28:39and that's another one that I remember because I remember at
- 28:42the time there were all these viral posts going around.
- 28:44Oh,
- 28:45this is,
- 28:46uh,
- 28:46Hamas,
- 28:46they're trying to help her and take her to the hospital.
- 28:49Meanwhile,
- 28:50her body is just completely
- 28:52bent and she's clearly dead and had been raped.
- 28:55You could see this on the video and people share this stuff,
- 28:58like millions of views.
- 28:59It's just,
- 29:00it's just unbelievable.
- 29:01Yeah,
- 29:01and by the way,
- 29:01we saw that same glee,
- 29:02uh,
- 29:03out in front of a building we used to
- 29:05work in in Manhattan yesterday on the anniversary,
- 29:07uh,
- 29:08right out in front of the Fox News building,
- 29:11which is down the street from our radio building and.
- 29:13Right in the middle of where we used to walk every single day,
- 29:15there was a massive protest of people cheering on and promising future attacks
- 29:20against Jews and infidels
- 29:23right in the middle of New York City,
- 29:24right in the middle of Manhattan,
- 29:25and this is not in the Palestinian territories.
- 29:29We're not talking about Gaza.
- 29:30We're talking right in the middle of Manhattan and no reaction.
- 29:33In fact,
- 29:34it seems like,
- 29:35uh,
- 29:35if anything,
- 29:35they're going to reward Hamas with one of their fanboys as mayor.
- 29:40Uh,
- 29:41yeah,
- 29:41it's just unbelievable.
- 29:42I mean,
- 29:43the fact that they parade this stuff around
- 29:46and celebrate it,
- 29:47I mean,
- 29:47I just,
- 29:48there's really no other way to describe it other than it's demonic.
- 29:51Like you just have to have blinders on your eyes to see,
- 29:54and again,
- 29:55like this is not to say Israel's perfect and Israel doesn't do anything wrong.
- 29:59That's not the case,
- 30:00but there's just.
- 30:01Like if Mexico was doing this to us and they were just constantly shooting rockets
- 30:05at us and terrorists were coming over and blowing things up all the time,
- 30:09would we treat this at all like this?
- 30:12Would any sane person,
- 30:14and,
- 30:14you know,
- 30:14they run in and take thousands of hostages,
- 30:17would any sane person.
- 30:19Be like,
- 30:20you know what,
- 30:20we better just kind of tone it down over here.
- 30:23I don't know what we're doing wrong.
- 30:25It's just,
- 30:26it
- 30:26defies all logical explanation to me,
- 30:29except it's a spiritual
- 30:30warfare going on.
- 30:32Well,
- 30:32uh,
- 30:33it's not just spiritual warfare,
- 30:34Dan,
- 30:34it's also just out and out stupidity.
- 30:38Greta Thunberg is a great example of this.
- 30:40She,
- 30:40uh,
- 30:41she posted something about,
- 30:42uh,
- 30:43how Israel is starving Palestinians.
- 30:45I mean,
- 30:45and this is a serious thing and you've seen these claims of famine.
- 30:49Uh,
- 30:49for a long time,
- 30:50everybody on the left makes them,
- 30:51and she posted a few pictures.
- 30:52She was able to find some Palestinians who were being starved,
- 30:56um,
- 30:56except,
- 30:57well,
- 30:57at least one of them was not a
- 30:59Palestinian,
- 31:00the one with the red arrow there actually.
- 31:03A hostage
- 31:05taken by the Palestinians,
- 31:06but actually an Israeli.
- 31:08Amazing.
- 31:09I mean you can't make this stuff up
- 31:12and then she quietly deleted it later and
- 31:15I mean just the
- 31:17uh unintentional irony there
- 31:19to expose just how they have to make this stuff up,
- 31:23uh,
- 31:24because the whole claim by the way that they're starving them,
- 31:26I mean Israel time and time again has shown
- 31:28they're trying to get humanitarian aid in there,
- 31:30they go through extreme lengths
- 31:32to try to get people out of there before they're attacking.
- 31:35Uh,
- 31:36all of that stuff,
- 31:36and then she went on,
- 31:38you know,
- 31:38Greta went on,
- 31:39by the way,
- 31:40after this ridiculously,
- 31:41she like quietly deleted a little bit later.
- 31:43I think her quote was something along the lines of like.
- 31:46You know,
- 31:46uh,
- 31:47starving and this kind of torture or whatever has no,
- 31:49no borders.
- 31:50Well,
- 31:50apparently it does have a border,
- 31:52Greta,
- 31:53like these injustices you say,
- 31:55like they,
- 31:55they shouldn't have borders,
- 31:57uh,
- 31:57in your mind,
- 31:57apparently they do.
- 31:59If it happened to an Israeli,
- 32:01then we just cut it off right there.
- 32:02Well,
- 32:03that's apparently that's OK,
- 32:04and we're just gonna leave that alone,
- 32:06but
- 32:06it's just.
- 32:08Comical if it weren't so tragic
- 32:11that uh they had to use an example
- 32:13of an Israeli getting starved
- 32:15and tortured,
- 32:17uh,
- 32:17to make her point,
- 32:18which completely of course disproved her point,
- 32:21but she also went on to claim that she's being tortured.
- 32:23I don't know if you saw that.
- 32:25Oh yeah,
- 32:25that's right,
- 32:26she because
- 32:27which is interesting.
- 32:27I,
- 32:28I don't understand how that works because she,
- 32:30I mean she wasn't taken captive,
- 32:32she,
- 32:32she went.
- 32:33There,
- 32:33uh,
- 32:34she was actually disinvited,
- 32:35did not,
- 32:36no one wanted her there.
- 32:37She's been there before.
- 32:37They've
- 32:38already ejected her multiple times
- 32:40because they don't want her there.
- 32:41She came again anyway and then claims that she was tortured.
- 32:44There's
- 32:45no evidence whatsoever of this actually being true though,
- 32:47right?
- 32:47Right,
- 32:48because,
- 32:48no,
- 32:48well,
- 32:49we found out about it.
- 32:50She,
- 32:50she wouldn't say why,
- 32:51by the way.
- 32:51Number one,
- 32:51she said,
- 32:52listen,
- 32:52I don't want to make the story.
- 32:54I'm not gonna say what happened to me because I
- 32:56don't want the story to be Greta got tortured,
- 32:58uh.
- 33:00You can't say you got tortured by Israel,
- 33:02Greta and not expect that to be the story.
- 33:04I mean,
- 33:05and also,
- 33:06also,
- 33:06you're saying this
- 33:08in freedom
- 33:10looking completely fine.
- 33:12Uh,
- 33:13the person she posted,
- 33:14by the way,
- 33:15that is someone who was,
- 33:16was tortured before they died.
- 33:19Uh,
- 33:19they had to dig their own grave,
- 33:22and they're in there
- 33:24writing and saying,
- 33:25uh,
- 33:26gosh,
- 33:26this is,
- 33:27it's,
- 33:27I'm running out of time in here.
- 33:29Like that is a human being who actually got tortured.
- 33:31And for her to have the gall,
- 33:33not only to accidentally post that picture
- 33:36as an example of torture and starvation.
- 33:40She is claiming
- 33:42in at in the same time that that's what's happening to her
- 33:46and she's completely free and completely looks fine.
- 33:48The other guy's emaciated and clearly being starved for months at a time,
- 33:53obviously because she posted it.
- 33:54She thought it proved her point.
- 33:55It's,
- 33:56it's,
- 33:57it's enraging.
- 33:57It'd be comical if it wasn't so enraging.
- 33:59I will say just from.
- 34:00For the media,
- 34:02if someone has
- 34:04been,
- 34:04you know,
- 34:04they went into a place and was released immediately
- 34:07and is currently in a free country talking about how
- 34:10evil they've been,
- 34:11how hard they've been tortured,
- 34:13probably not true.
- 34:13Like the torture victims are hard to get in touch with.
- 34:15It's hard to get in touch with the
- 34:17hostages that Hamas is torturing,
- 34:18right,
- 34:19because they keep them in captivity.
- 34:20That's what makes them hostages.
- 34:22Um,
- 34:22and then also I would also point out,
- 34:24when you want to find famine victims in a famine,
- 34:26it's really easy,
- 34:27right?
- 34:27Like that's kind of a definitional part of a famine,
- 34:30right?
- 34:30When we had Ethiopia going on and We Are
- 34:32the World and Michael Jackson and Bono were singing,
- 34:35we could always find people
- 34:37who were very,
- 34:38very thin and had flies around them all the time,
- 34:41and it was a terrible,
- 34:42terrible thing.
- 34:42It was not hard to find footage of people suffering
- 34:45from the famine because it was a freaking famine.
- 34:48When you,
- 34:48when you,
- 34:48if you're looking for,
- 34:49I need to post 3 famine victims and one of them just happens to be
- 34:53a prisoner from the country you're criticizing,
- 34:56I don't know,
- 34:57maybe,
- 34:57maybe your point isn't exactly
- 34:59kosher.
- 35:00Not great.
- 35:01And also remember when they did this earlier,
- 35:03they tried to claim it that Israel's blocking all the supplies,
- 35:06the supplies.
- 35:06The pictures they posted of children
- 35:09who were supposedly starving were ones that had other illnesses.
- 35:12These were just sick kids from hospitals that
- 35:15had diseases and then they posted them,
- 35:17which is just demeaning to them,
- 35:19by the way.
- 35:20I mean,
- 35:20what kind of an awful person do you have to be
- 35:23to use the picture of a sick kid.
- 35:25To make your
- 35:26fake point about something else,
- 35:28I mean,
- 35:28that's just disgusting.
- 35:30My favorite part of that is like
- 35:31they're standing there with their parents who are totally fine.
- 35:33It's like,
- 35:34are the parents not feeding them?
- 35:36Like they didn't share their food.
- 35:38I don't understand how that is low now.
- 35:40Give me some extra mashed potatoes here.
- 35:43None for you,
- 35:44kid.
- 35:44Zip it.
- 35:45Uh,
- 35:46let me,
- 35:46it's the last one for you.
- 35:47Uh,
- 35:48Bad Bunny was at the,
- 35:49uh,
- 35:49Blue Jays game.
- 35:50Well,
- 35:50I'm in the middle of a
- 35:51mental anguish right now on the Toronto Blue Jays because I'm.
- 35:54Uh,
- 35:54you know,
- 35:54I,
- 35:55I'm a bit of a pessimist,
- 35:56but like,
- 35:57I'm just like totally sold they're gonna wind up blowing the series.
- 36:00They're up 2-1 or 2-0 and up 6 to 1 in game 3 and blew the game,
- 36:04and now I'm completely convinced they're blowing the series,
- 36:06but that's,
- 36:06that's totally separate.
- 36:07Bad Bunny actually won,
- 36:09or actually caught a foul ball while he was there.
- 36:12A lot of people were reminded me of this because of course
- 36:14I caught one of the greatest catches in the history of,
- 36:16uh,
- 36:17the Major leagues,
- 36:17uh,
- 36:18in Toronto as well.
- 36:19Uh,
- 36:20but like,
- 36:20here's a guy,
- 36:21they're putting.
- 36:22As the,
- 36:23the Super Bowl halftime show,
- 36:25and he doesn't even like,
- 36:27you know,
- 36:27mostly perform in English.
- 36:29I think he speaks some English,
- 36:30but he doesn't perform mainly in English.
- 36:32His songs are mainly in Spanish.
- 36:34I,
- 36:34I mean,
- 36:34I,
- 36:35like,
- 36:35what are we doing here?
- 36:38This is just
- 36:39read the room.
- 36:40I mean,
- 36:40people are,
- 36:41I,
- 36:41I think most people are sick of this.
- 36:43Like I don't need to see some stripper
- 36:46on at the halftime show.
- 36:48I don't need to see some
- 36:49non-American
- 36:51rapper or whatever he is that nobody's ever heard of.
- 36:54I,
- 36:54I,
- 36:55has anyone heard of this guy?
- 36:56I'm,
- 36:56I'm kind of out of the pop culture,
- 36:57but I've,
- 36:58I've at least heard the name.
- 37:00I've never heard of Bad Bunny,
- 37:01and I,
- 37:02that's what I see everyone saying it.
- 37:04And your name is Bad Bunny.
- 37:05Like it's just,
- 37:07what?
- 37:07Dan,
- 37:08Dan,
- 37:08Dan,
- 37:08first of all,
- 37:09let me,
- 37:10first of all,
- 37:10let me separate you,
- 37:11you and me a little bit on this.
- 37:12I have heard of Bad Bunny.
- 37:14I can't,
- 37:14I can't name
- 37:15any of his songs,
- 37:17but I had heard of him.
- 37:19Largely because,
- 37:20uh,
- 37:20he actually,
- 37:21and this is true.
- 37:22May be the most streamed artist on Spotify globally.
- 37:28Now ahead of Taylor Swift,
- 37:28which is obviously like a very popular
- 37:31guy,
- 37:31that's great that people in Saudi Arabia are streaming you.
- 37:33I don't globally is the key word,
- 37:35right?
- 37:35And I do think outside of the woke interests of the NFL here,
- 37:38a lot of this does come down to they're trying to make this a global sport.
- 37:41They're trying to bring in money from outside the country.
- 37:44And that almost makes it more frustrating than
- 37:46just the fact that he's anti-ice or whatever.
- 37:48Like,
- 37:48they're just,
- 37:49they're so money hungry that they're just like,
- 37:51oh,
- 37:51just give us a
- 37:53play to your audience,
- 37:53which happens to be largely people in the United States,
- 37:56please,
- 37:56a little bit,
- 37:56right?
- 37:57And,
- 37:57and
- 37:58I would just say on the podcast today,
- 37:59on the Quick Start podcast,
- 38:00we mentioned this,
- 38:01but,
- 38:01uh,
- 38:01Forrest Frank and there's another Christian artist,
- 38:03and I'm forgetting which one it was,
- 38:04but they did a video
- 38:06and they basically came up with the idea that they want to create an alter alternate,
- 38:10uh,
- 38:10alternate.
- 38:11Uh,
- 38:11halftime show and get a stadium and do this,
- 38:14and I,
- 38:16I am here for that.
- 38:16Uh,
- 38:17I will take Forrest Frank,
- 38:18other Christian artists,
- 38:19like
- 38:20people that aren't gonna do a striptease on
- 38:22the halftime show or have wardrobe malfunctions or
- 38:26rap about bad bunnies and whatever else this guy talks about.
- 38:30I mean,
- 38:31I just don't need it.
- 38:31I don't need it.
- 38:33It's,
- 38:33I wanna watch the game and not be assaulted,
- 38:35OK?
- 38:36Is this too much to ask?
- 38:37Instead,
- 38:37I don't think his songs are about bad bunnies.
- 38:40I don't.
- 38:40His name is Bad Bunny,
- 38:41and he should just be deleted because of this.
- 38:44Every time I say it,
- 38:45it gets worse.
- 38:47How do you,
- 38:47you know what I'm gonna call myself Bad Bunny.
- 38:49Like this is just
- 38:51my,
- 38:51my favorite thing is like you should go on a Spotify playlist.
- 38:54His number one hit is a song about misbehaving rabbits.
- 38:57Like that's actually what you believe is
- 39:00Someone needs to create his AI rival,
- 39:02which is Good Bunny,
- 39:04and then,
- 39:04and
- 39:05it's just like an AI rival that just,
- 39:07you know,
- 39:07is better than they can come perform at the forest.
- 39:09Frank show,
- 39:10uh,
- 39:11so there you go.
- 39:11Alright,
- 39:12Dan Andrews,
- 39:12managing editor,
- 39:13CBN News,
- 39:14source of all music information,
- 39:16uh,
- 39:16with CBN's Quick Start.
- 39:18I'm here for.
- 39:18I'm here for everybody,
- 39:19for the people,
- 39:20for the people.
- 39:21Head over and subscribe to the podcast today.
- 39:22Dan,
- 39:23you,
- 39:23uh,
- 39:23thank you so much for,
- 39:24uh,
- 39:24coming on,
- 39:25and I,
- 39:25I hope you'll give us a review of Bad Bunny next time you come on the program.
- 39:28Oh,
- 39:29yes,
- 39:30I will do it,
- 39:31even though I won't watch.
- 39:41A lot of,
- 39:41uh,
- 39:41Trump supporters on Twitter will tweet things like,
- 39:43uh,
- 39:44you know,
- 39:44this is what I voted for and this is the best in my lifetime.
- 39:48And like,
- 39:49you know,
- 39:50it just,
- 39:50it is an indication,
- 39:51it's things are going well,
- 39:52right?
- 39:52Like it's not necessarily a,
- 39:54a,
- 39:54a literal,
- 39:55it's,
- 39:55you know,
- 39:55as Salena Zito would say,
- 39:56it's not to be taken seriously,
- 39:58but not literally,
- 40:00um,
- 40:00and that's usually the case,
- 40:02you're kind of just saying,
- 40:02hey,
- 40:02this is really,
- 40:03really positive.
- 40:04Um,
- 40:04however,
- 40:05let me give you something that actually is literally
- 40:08the best
- 40:09in my lifetime.
- 40:11US illegal immigration
- 40:13border crossings fall to a 55 year
- 40:16low.
- 40:17This is,
- 40:18uh,
- 40:19they have dropped massively.
- 40:21In fact,
- 40:22they are as low
- 40:23as they have been since 1970.
- 40:271970.
- 40:28I was born in 1976.
- 40:291970 was the last time these rates were this low,
- 40:32and of course you have to,
- 40:33there's population growth and all these other things as well,
- 40:35so,
- 40:36uh,
- 40:36a massive,
- 40:37massive change.
- 40:37And while we're kind of on the.
- 40:40Um,
- 40:41uh,
- 40:42the,
- 40:43I don't know,
- 40:44the topic of things
- 40:45that are in freefall,
- 40:47border crossings.
- 40:48Let's also talk about Jimmy Kimmel and his ratings.
- 40:51Jimmy Kimmel is now,
- 40:52uh,
- 40:53nearing pre-suspension viewership.
- 40:55He's shedding 85% of key viewers since his hyped comeback show.
- 40:59This was never a surprise,
- 41:01right?
- 41:01This has always been expected.
- 41:03I don't even think,
- 41:04honestly,
- 41:04Jimmy Kimmel
- 41:05thought he was going to keep
- 41:07the audience that he got.
- 41:08Even close to half of the audience,
- 41:10but 85% down is pretty bad.
- 41:12He's almost all the way back to his catastrophic
- 41:15pre-scandal or pre-controversy ratings,
