Teen Escapes Unharmed as Suspect Arrested | Texas News
A 28-year-old man, Carlos Cuevas-Ruiz, was arrested in Fort Worth on a kidnapping charge after allegedly attempting to snatch a teen on July 15. The teen escaped unharmed thanks to quick-thinking bystanders who helped her get home safely. Witnesses confronted the suspect, who fled in his vehicle before police arrived. Cuevas-Ruiz was later taken into custody without incident and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
