Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
  mouth is. This.
• 0:18
Is Nate's daily wager for July 15th, 2024.
• 0:24
And well, this week is starting off as as well as last week and
• 0:30
the week before, meaning that once again lost and didn't get a
• 0:36
  win. So that's a negative.
• 0:39
But that seems to be the way that things have been going, so
• 0:43
not surprising. All right, so tonight we we got
• 0:47
the Home Run Derby all right, So I'm hoping maybe something
• 0:51
positive will happen for me. We're going to at least watch,
• 0:55
have some fun and lay a couple bets.
• 0:59
So I'm looking at the the contestants and you know, Pete
• 1:03
Alonso, he likes winning this thing because it actually puts
• 1:07
money in his bank. So we're going to we're going to
• 1:10
throw a little on him, you know, and he's currently sitting at
• 1:15
plus 320. So that'll give us a nice chunk
• 1:18
of change if we get him to hit. And then we're also going to
• 1:21
take a flyer. So a nice long somebody with
• 1:25
some long odds that it really hit for us if they come in.
• 1:29
And that's Jose Ramirez at plus 1400.
• 1:33
I think he's got the swing and the pop that I think is going to
• 1:37
do well in this new format. All he's got to do is get past
• 1:40
the that first round where it's just a matter of the top 4 going
• 1:45
on. And I think once he does that,
• 1:47
he'll be all right. So that's what we're looking
• 1:50
for. So we're looking at Pete Alonzo
• 1:52
and Jose Ramirez, either one of them to win tonight's Home Run
• 1:57
Derby, getting us plus odds on both.
• 2:01
So if you see anything better than that, pound it.
• 2:03
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:05
