- 0:15What's going on everybody? We are back.
- 0:17Episode 3 of the ABJ podcast. Before I get into any of this, I
- 0:21just want to say that I am very sorry that I have not been
- 0:23posting more frequently. I took a couple weeks off.
- 0:28Just be completely transparent and honest.
- 0:30I've been working on other people's stuff more than they
- 0:32do. I've been growing and supporting
- 0:34other independent wrestling companies and helping them
- 0:38launch their YouTube channels and, well, their footage out
- 0:40there. And it's been a lot trying to go
- 0:43back through every single show and you're good.
- 0:48There is. No, there's not.
- 0:49Oh, I did drink it. I'm sorry.
- 0:50Thank you, Lily, for the waters. So I have been, I've been
- 0:54working with that. And so please go over to WTW and
- 0:58RWE and support their channels and watch their matches because
- 1:00I put a lot of work into them and it would mean a lot to me.
- 1:03And you can listen to me on commentary whether I'm good or
- 1:05bad or whether you like it or don't like it, I don't care.
- 1:08I have fun. But yeah, so I've been doing
- 1:10that. And honestly, mental health
- 1:11wise, I have I'm, I'm, I'm not great right now, which I'm
- 1:15hoping today is going to be a good day because I'm joined for
- 1:18the first time ever on the ABJ solo thing, not solo with my
- 1:22buddy to kill a lot. What's going on, man?
- 1:23Hey. What's up?
- 1:24I wish I had a catch phrase, man.
- 1:26Yeah, I'm not even diving into that again because there'll be a
- 1:31Part 3 and I'm not even trying to do that.
- 1:33We don't need anything. No, I'm You're dead to me.
- 1:37It's all love. It's all love.
- 1:39I don't love. It is lovely.
- 1:40I don't really care. Hey, I'm happy to be here, yeah.
- 1:43I'm happy you're here. That's it.
- 1:44That's when I can for. Yeah, I'm just happy I'm.
- 1:46Just happy to be here. So today's episode is going to
- 1:50be why I refuse to be fake for success.
- 1:52That's kind of the the overall theme.
- 1:55I think we both embody this, but I think you have seen me
- 1:58struggle probably more than anybody to retain this and still
- 2:04try to find my own self identity and balance, being me and also
- 2:09being within this, the industry and the art that I've chosen to
- 2:13be in. So I'm interested maybe if you
- 2:15can give me some insight of myself.
- 2:16I sure. Can.
- 2:18As all as well as give your own insight of how you've navigated
- 2:22this. But so kind of going into it.
- 2:24I rather blow grow slow then grow slow being myself, then
- 2:29blow up pretending to be someone I'm not.
- 2:31That has always been the mantra of who I am.
- 2:34I always said from the beginning, even talking to you,
- 2:35I'm like, I know my journey at this is going to take longer
- 2:38than others because even when you're like you, why don't you
- 2:41fucking tell people you're a podcaster.
- 2:43You have access to all these wrestlers.
- 2:45I can't believe Frog and there's so there's so much downtime that
- 2:47you can get content. And I said I don't want to annoy
- 2:50people with it. I want to earn that respect to
- 2:53the locker room as one of the locker room before I even tell
- 2:56most of them I'm even a content creator.
- 2:58Yeah. And then like the people I
- 3:00became really cool with or close with or I felt like I've
- 3:03developed more friendship with, I would then tell them and then
- 3:06be comfortable to have episodes where I felt like the episodes
- 3:10were really good because I've built that trust first.
- 3:12Like when I did episodes with Killian and Dust, like they were
- 3:16more authentic because I've earned that respect with them
- 3:19before. Just jumping in, but I'm a
- 3:20podcaster. Would be on my podcast.
- 3:22Well, the thing that came to mind when you said that is like,
- 3:24you know, you don't go directly up to people and say, hey, I'm a
- 3:28podcaster, want to do some content.
- 3:30You're just, you build these relationships first
- 3:32authentically, and then people just fucking love you.
- 3:35Right? Yeah.
- 3:36I sure hope so. The.
- 3:37First thing that came to mind is frog sport Miles Millennium wore
- 3:42your shirt. Yeah, during his intro that.
- 3:44Was awesome. I love miles.
- 3:46You know, like it means something man and, and people
- 3:50have done that. Yeah.
- 3:51And I think that's why I know I don't get a lot of views, but if
- 3:55you are watching this and this is like your first time
- 3:57experiencing me, I think that's what makes a lot of my
- 3:59interviews in the past stand out is because they weren't like,
- 4:02you can listen to the same interview with the same person
- 4:04with any other person on the podcast industry, on the
- 4:07independent wrestling scene. And I think mine are vastly
- 4:09different, even though the questions are very similar.
- 4:12Yeah, I think there there were times where you were like, hey,
- 4:15you know, reach out and be on the podcast, but I feel like
- 4:17there were quite some people, quite quite a few people that
- 4:20were also like waiting to be asked.
- 4:23Oh, hundred. Percent.
- 4:23So there's a weird balance of like asking and also.
- 4:27Like, you know what, I just found out without saying the
- 4:29person's name because I'm probably going to have them on
- 4:31eventually, then we're going to talk about it.
- 4:32I had someone hate me, generally hate me because I never reached
- 4:36out to them and they thought no, like straight up like fuck that
- 4:40guy. I don't like ABJ, he's a piece
- 4:42of shit. And then recently joined a
- 4:45TikTok live and it was like, you know, I hated you forever
- 4:48because I, I always wanted you to be the one to reach out.
- 4:50And I felt like because you weren't reaching out to me, I
- 4:52felt some type of entitlement And I, I, it didn't take till
- 4:56years later for me to learn, start listening to you and
- 4:59hearing that you actually struggle asking people.
- 5:02And that's why you don't really reach out to a lot of people
- 5:04because you feel like you don't want to be a burden.
- 5:06And then once I heard that and I was like, man, I unjustly did
- 5:09not like this guy for the longest time.
- 5:10That's crazy. I was like, and he just randomly
- 5:13joined it alive and said that. And I was like, dude, I
- 5:16generally liked you as a content creator and like what you were
- 5:18doing in the industry. Like my first show was at a show
- 5:21that you were a part of, You know what I mean?
- 5:23Like I respected you. Like, that's kind of crazy.
- 5:27And that makes a lot of sense because I've always tried to
- 5:28collab. And he was like, no.
- 5:30Yeah, that's funny. Yeah, so I was like, oh shit,
- 5:33that's crazy. So yeah, 100%.
- 5:35But yeah, like success, man. It really means nothing to me if
- 5:38I have to fake to get to get to get where I'm at.
- 5:41Like I if you if I always said in the beginning when I was
- 5:44making beer content or any of that kind of content.
- 5:47If I'm the party guy who has to be black out drunk and has to be
- 5:50that person every time. There's no longevity in this
- 5:53because in the day you don't want to be the party animal and
- 5:55you want to calm down and not be the screaming and yelling guy.
- 5:58They're not taken seriously. People are tuning out because
- 6:01you're not the monkey anymore. Yes, 100%.
- 6:03And that's why I never really wanted to, you know, dive into
- 6:07that. So we're going to kind of go
- 6:09into that through a couple segments there.
- 6:12So the first one's going to be the world we're in right now.
- 6:15I, this is where I generally feel right now for our world.
- 6:19I think with the world becoming more adept with people
- 6:25pretending to be something they're not, hiding behind the
- 6:27veil, lying, deception, I think people are getting sick of it.
- 6:31And I think even now in the world of AII, think there's a
- 6:35lot of people who are heavily leaning on AI to be their entire
- 6:38personality. Like they're using AI for every
- 6:41ounce of their content every. Like let's just use the WB right
- 6:45now, openly using AI to make AI generated promos and AI
- 6:50generated. That's insane.
- 6:51Transitions between screens. They're openly using AI to write
- 6:55their shows and just firing writers to use a free writing
- 7:01tool. That's crazy.
- 7:03Yes, and it's just like it's showing in their product and
- 7:06their fans are like this doesn't feel the same anymore.
- 7:08I scroll through TikTok every night, and maybe I'll find a
- 7:14podcast or two where their topic is interesting, but every word
- 7:20out of their mouth is right off a ChatGPT.
- 7:22Yeah. And I'm just like, I can't.
- 7:24It's like your teleprompter. So if I want to have a
- 7:26conversation with GPT, it's on my phone.
- 7:29Yeah, like I I can do that and it panders to you by.
- 7:31The Way 100. Percent, you know, whatever it
- 7:33thinks your opinion is, it gaslights the shit out of it.
- 7:36There is no like real authentic version of AI that's going to be
- 7:42like a person that can push back.
- 7:44Yeah. So essentially what I do just
- 7:46for full transparency for this podcast, I do use.
- 7:49AI, but you use it as a tool. Yes, so, so I generate what the
- 7:54topic I want to talk about and the things I struggle with and I
- 7:57cuz I don't I don't have a good time when it comes to.
- 8:00And sometimes I get a little off track with my ADHD where I want
- 8:04to talk about something and then completely deviate away.
- 8:06And it's not the same thing that I wasn't initially talking
- 8:08about, especially if I have usually a guest.
- 8:10So the solo side, it really keeps me level, but I have like
- 8:13these are the things that bother me the most and these are what I
- 8:15want to talk about And then AI is like, cool, I'm going to put
- 8:18this in a thing. You should probably only dwell
- 8:20on this for a couple minutes, but here's your bullet points
- 8:22that you want to hit based on what you read it to me.
- 8:24And then I use that as a tool to just keep me on track, if that
- 8:28makes sense. So I'm just being transparent
- 8:30with you guys as well. One of my things where I lack
- 8:34strength is grammar and spelling so and and structure when it
- 8:41comes to writing. So but I feel like I'm a good
- 8:44writer and so I never let AI change my vocabulary.
- 8:48I never let it change my voice but I do let it like spell check
- 8:53and grammar and structure. For me, I I actually use, I know
- 8:56this isn't really we're way off topic, but like this, I used AI
- 9:00where I literally went on an AI thing and I've maybe this is
- 9:04stupid and I should have done this, but like I generally
- 9:07opened up to AI and told him who I am as a person, What are my
- 9:11goals, what are my aspirations, what I struggle and what what my
- 9:14brand is. And I was like, just give me a
- 9:17synopsis of what I just told you.
- 9:19And then it remembered that. So that when I make content, it
- 9:21kind of makes it within the realm of who I am as my brand.
- 9:24Yeah. So it keeps it keeps it that it
- 9:26kind of. Yeah.
- 9:28I asked. AI yesterday, based on
- 9:31everything you know about me, everything we've ever talked
- 9:34about, generate an image of what you think my ideal woman looks
- 9:38like. It nailed it.
- 9:40Really. Oh, yeah.
- 9:41It's sick. Dangerous goth chick.
- 9:43Yeah. For sure, goth, goth girls are
- 9:45the best. All right, So like I said
- 9:48before, I think the world is getting to a point where I think
- 9:50people are seeking authenticity. I think people watch content now
- 9:55or music. I think like music wise, I think
- 9:59a lot of musicians are going to start going by the wayside.
- 10:02Like a lot of people are starting to get called out
- 10:03because they're like, yo, you're just playing the character of
- 10:05what you think the cool musician is.
- 10:07Like you're playing the character what you think the
- 10:08full podcaster is. You're playing the character
- 10:10what you think people would like and it's not you.
- 10:13And people are sniffing that out.
- 10:15And I, I'm generally hoping that that's where someone like me
- 10:18shot. I, I just realized this whole
- 10:20time we haven't been recording. All right, so the first half of
- 10:24this podcast, you're going to be listening for the 1st 16 minutes
- 10:27via the audio. Yeah.
- 10:28Now you're actually hearing the good stuff.
- 10:30But no, I think this is going to be, I think there's, we're going
- 10:35to enter a world where people like, and I'm hoping this is
- 10:37where I shine and I'm hoping within like 'cause it they
- 10:40usually say it takes 1010 years to like blow up.
- 10:44Like if you're going to lock in and I'm on 9, like this is year
- 10:489 of me doing this pretty. Consistently, it's crazy, like
- 10:52because I I've seen the whole journey, but like when you're on
- 10:55that journey too, it's just like you don't realize how much time
- 10:58is passing. And I even with what I went
- 11:01through, I never really laid off the gas.
- 11:03No, you didn't stop at all. And and, and I feel like I
- 11:07should be rewarded for that. You know what I mean?
- 11:09Like, like if I'm hitting my I'm generally in nine years, like
- 11:12consistently in for I mean, I may have taken a month off.
- 11:16I mean, look, it's a nice idea and it's a nice metric, but
- 11:19like, don't, don't hold yourself.
- 11:21Too. Yeah, yeah, I definitely know.
- 11:22But. You set yourself up for these
- 11:24ideas of like, all right, well, this should happen, and then it
- 11:27doesn't happen, and then you're big crash of expectations and
- 11:31yeah, like that's happened with you.
- 11:32Before. Yeah, absolutely.
- 11:33You know what I mean? And it's just like moving
- 11:37forward without expectations, but moving authentically, which
- 11:40is like moving with your passion, talking about things
- 11:44you want to talk about. And you know, like, people are
- 11:47always going to vibe with that. Just like changing it from
- 11:50Tornado Tag and all the other brands to ABJ, that was the move
- 11:54because people vibe with you. And it's like, as long as you
- 11:58move authentically, the right group of people naturally
- 12:02gravitate. Yeah, So yeah, what's and social
- 12:06media is like a performance driven base thing, you know, and
- 12:10it's like you always generate your next metrics and you're
- 12:13like, oh, this video blew up for me and you're like, shit, I
- 12:17don't like the fact that that one blew up because it probably
- 12:20in that whole idea of what I did is furthest from me.
- 12:23And I would get like frustrated with that.
- 12:24Like no, that's not who I want to be.
- 12:26And I'm like, we'll lean into that.
- 12:27That's what's getting your views.
- 12:28Like no, fuck that. That's not who I want to be.
- 12:31Like. And then you have you, you just
- 12:33look at the people who are exaggerating their
- 12:35personalities, reviews and it's like they're being rewarded for
- 12:37it. But I'm just like, no, stick to
- 12:39the course. Stick to the course because like
- 12:43the people who are faking it because they just want to be the
- 12:46quote UN quote social media person, they don't last.
- 12:49They burn out quicker than everybody else because they're
- 12:51burning out because they're putting more energy into being
- 12:53the person they're not. Yeah.
- 12:55And we we've seen it. Well, I think Jim Carrey talks
- 12:58about this a lot when, when you're pretending to be somebody
- 13:04you're not, like all the mental health creeps in, the
- 13:07depression, stuff like that, because your, your body will
- 13:11eventually start to reject that false persona.
- 13:15And it's, it's like an infection.
- 13:17It, it's a sickness. And there's somebody, I'm not
- 13:21going to say their name, but you've collabed with them quite
- 13:23a few times. And I find them to be the most
- 13:27fake person ever. And they get a lot of reward and
- 13:31a lot of exposure. And you know, you, you partnered
- 13:36with them and some other people and you made your exit based off
- 13:40integrity. Sometimes you still interact
- 13:42with them, and that's fine. I stay cool.
- 13:44Yeah, but like, every time I hear their voice and that fake
- 13:49persona, I'm just like, God, where's the reality, man?
- 13:54Yeah. And I got to turn it off because
- 13:56I can't. I can't accept that.
- 13:57I would have people tell me though, they're like, I tried to
- 14:00watch a lot and it wasn't just one person, it was a few.
- 14:03I would try to watch their content without you on it and
- 14:06hated it but I I like watching it with you on it because you
- 14:10challenged them. Right, if that made sense.
- 14:12And that's true because you do, because you have original
- 14:15opinions and ideas. Yeah, another big one is too.
- 14:18It just kind of leans into that as well.
- 14:20And though especially in the world of wrestling, I I stopped
- 14:22watching and making content based on WWE because I wasn't
- 14:25enjoying the product. I wasn't enjoying what I was
- 14:27talking about and I was starting to get more popular hating on
- 14:31it. And and I think a big thing
- 14:33that's happening right now with social media and content
- 14:35creators is drama and fake outrage and fake confidence.
- 14:40And I just people wanting to be negative to make content like
- 14:45like and because that's what people watch.
- 14:48That's what the people behind the other end of this camera and
- 14:50the other end of this lens of the what re watching this will
- 14:53be like. Oh, they're not bringing drama.
- 14:55I don't want to be a part of. It I'm going to tune in way
- 14:57faster when there's something juicy to see yeah and like
- 15:00that's me as a consumer but also me as like a creator.
- 15:08I don't want to do that. Yeah.
- 15:09Unless. Well, you got some good stuff
- 15:11coming up. You got a little juicy tid.
- 15:13So that's where it's at. Like, unless it's authentic.
- 15:16Because when it's authentic, talking about those things that
- 15:19may be dramatic is also therapeutic.
- 15:21Yeah. And for the record, like your
- 15:24podcasts, I didn't go into like I knew we talked about it
- 15:28before. I knew that it was going to
- 15:31generate a reaction from people. The one that we knew that was
- 15:36going to get the reaction the. Other one doesn't avoid talking
- 15:40about it because of that. Because it was part of our story
- 15:42exactly. And it's not that I'm, and I
- 15:45haven't Full disclosure, this has not aired with the I don't
- 15:50know much about the future episode, the rebuttal episode
- 15:53right. So I, I, I like, I don't
- 15:56generally give a shit about any of those people that we talked
- 16:00about. Like some of them I still
- 16:02interact with because we have mutual friends.
- 16:03And there's some of the people that I still, I'm in spaces with
- 16:06because we're mutual friends. Yeah.
- 16:08And I, I don't force myself on them.
- 16:10I don't not because I just, I, I hate you.
- 16:13I just, I'm just, I'm about saving my energy.
- 16:16And if you're not interested in my energy, I'm not really
- 16:18interested in me trying to force my energy on you.
- 16:21So we just, we, we exist in the same space and we just go about
- 16:24our day and it seems to work. And if there has to be a
- 16:26situation where we look or laugh at the same thing or make a joke
- 16:30or we're in a conversation, I'm fine with that.
- 16:32But I don't think I'd go off to the corner and be like, hey,
- 16:35man, like let's let's try to, we did that already.
- 16:38You know what I mean? I tried to extend that.
- 16:40But like with this person, I, I generally don't give a fuck
- 16:44about what they do. Like they're not.
- 16:47Yeah. I don't care.
- 16:48We're not in the same space, we don't make the same content.
- 16:51We have nothing in common in a political world.
- 16:54We are on two different sides. 100%.
- 16:56I don't care. I don't care.
- 16:58Yeah, I I, but it was just part of the story of us.
- 17:02And I think it's important to have that.
- 17:04And you know, while while those stories.
- 17:07The only reason it's coming up because it's a part of making
- 17:09fake outrage right where it. Will yeah and it is but like and
- 17:13and redirecting it to authenticity.
- 17:15And this is yeah, you. Know because like there are,
- 17:19there are definitely truth to the idea of there are two sides
- 17:22to every story and probably more.
- 17:25And it comes down to perspective.
- 17:27And that's why me as a person has always avoided confrontation
- 17:31until I have hard concrete evidence and facts, because I'm
- 17:36aware that my perspective on a situation could be different.
- 17:41And and we even personally have been in that same boat with each
- 17:45other and eventually come to realize, OK, different
- 17:49perspectives, but like. Yeah, and I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm the
- 17:53first to say that like especially more in my past than
- 17:55ever is like I've always been kind of like not the most level
- 17:58headed person because I let my emotions dictate my actions and
- 18:01my mouth before I let myself just digest it and before I
- 18:04should go and especially if I'm emotionally attached to it, I
- 18:08will, I will, I will blow up and I will say some shit, you know
- 18:12what I mean? Like I will nuke the world
- 18:14before, you know, without thinking about it.
- 18:16And I've I've grown from that. But like usually when people say
- 18:19like, Hey, I've had to promise you in the past, I'm like this.
- 18:22I without even you like full like, I do think if I had
- 18:26general problem with you when we were beefing, you're not an
- 18:29innocent person because I don't go after people if there's no
- 18:32you know what I mean. But I also take accountability
- 18:34that I I probably didn't handle the situation and I it would
- 18:36have been better if I would have just maybe took it a breath and
- 18:38had a conversation with you first.
- 18:40You know what I mean? And I'm I'm I'm hyper aware of
- 18:42that of that that was my fault faults.
- 18:45I think another aspect shortcomings to.
- 18:50Authenticity is accountability, right?
- 18:52And so I am willing to take accountability for anything I
- 18:55did wrong. And if you say that I wronged
- 18:58you and I hear you out and I'll, I will take the beat to think
- 19:02about it and be like, you know what?
- 19:04I didn't intend to do that, sure, but I'm going to take
- 19:06accountability for. That I will, I will say sorry,
- 19:08but from my perspective, this is probably why this happened,
- 19:12right? And I and if and if you don't
- 19:14accept that, I'm sorry. Exactly.
- 19:16Yeah. And that's OK.
- 19:17You don't. It being, you know, apologetic
- 19:20doesn't have to come with altering who you are.
- 19:23Yeah, so a big thing is creators, they just, they
- 19:28generally copy what works instead of being themselves.
- 19:30They they want to trace like, oh, I made a video where I got
- 19:34kicked in the balls and now I'm the new Jackass guy.
- 19:37But I obviously my passion is model trains, but nobody gives a
- 19:40shit to that model train, you know what I mean?
- 19:41Like, and then people blow up and then try to switch up their
- 19:44content and then they fall short and then they go through a
- 19:48depression of like, oh, I tried to beat this and now I can't and
- 19:51now I have to revert back harder.
- 19:53And that's true, you know what I mean?
- 19:54It happens with celebrities and entertainment and social.
- 19:58Media people, YouTube creators all the time.
- 20:00I like I. I listen to like Steve O's
- 20:02podcast, so I hear a lot of like these people who got their
- 20:06success through YouTube and the trial and error of like,
- 20:09alright, this didn't work. So I now I tried this and like I
- 20:12did pranks for a while and that worked, but then that stopped
- 20:15working. So I transitioned into giving
- 20:17away money and then, you know, it's just like, alright.
- 20:20I filmed myself being nice to people because people wanted to
- 20:23see like First off, don't feel that's weird Film it.
- 20:27I don't give a fuck what you do. But yeah, I just it just once
- 20:30again like it. I I respect your content.
- 20:32It may it's not my style of. Content Yeah, yeah, as long as
- 20:35long as it's genuine you know and and your the person's really
- 20:38benefiting it from it rather than being a piece of your
- 20:42project for your views fine 'cause like I will watch that
- 20:46content of the kindness content and I will cry my fucking.
- 20:50Eye see. I watch it and I'm just like the
- 20:53wrestling kicks in. I'm like, this is this is all
- 20:55gimmick. Sometimes.
- 20:57I have a hard like I literally watch a movie or I will I listen
- 21:00to music or I consume art and I feel like I put the fucking they
- 21:04live glasses on and I'm sure I can just be like you're not
- 21:07authentic. If some of those kindness
- 21:09created and I know some of them are set up for sure, but if I
- 21:12find out that like the majority of them are I, I'm going to be
- 21:15crushed, you know, and I'm going to be a cynic and you know.
- 21:18You know who I struggle with? Who's that MCK?
- 21:21Why? I don't think he's authentic.
- 21:23I think he plays a role to. I think I think I.
- 21:25Think he's actually a sad boy, or I think he was.
- 21:28I don't think he is anymore. I think he fits into the role,
- 21:31will get some of the most money, Really.
- 21:33Yeah. That's that's how I generally.
- 21:34I actually had a conversation with Mike about this.
- 21:36No shit. But he doesn't like MGK so he's
- 21:38biased. No, but he but he feels the the
- 21:41reason he doesn't is because he also struggles with like
- 21:43watching him and feeling like, oh, you're like you want to be
- 21:46the rock star, but then you want to be a rapper, then you want to
- 21:47be the movie star. Like I don't think it's a bad
- 21:50thing to try to fit in different roles to make money and be.
- 21:52But I generally think like he's the embodiment.
- 21:56I could be wrong. I would love to hang out with
- 21:57him and be wrong. But like also a possibility that
- 22:00we all just want to be those things too.
- 22:02Sure. And I don't think that I'm not
- 22:05attacking him for that. I'm just saying when I see him
- 22:08in those roles, I don't think I think he's doing it for the
- 22:12reasons of I'm getting fame and fortune for doing it.
- 22:15But I don't know it just you ever you ever just meet like a
- 22:18wrestler and they want to be a wrestler so bad, but they're
- 22:22trying so hard to be the wrestler that they're not being
- 22:24the wrestler. They come off as more of the fan
- 22:26or the wannabe of the try hard or like a rock star or like just
- 22:29because you paint your eyes and and grow your hair long and wear
- 22:33cool T-shirts doesn't mean you're a rock star.
- 22:36You know what I'm saying? Like, I like, I just think some
- 22:39people fall into that trap. Yeah, no, I don't just.
- 22:42I mean, his music makes me feel some things man, but.
- 22:45I think he's good because I think commercially was, I think
- 22:47he has a team around him who helped make good music that like
- 22:50is commercially successful. I'm a little butt hurt right now
- 22:53about he. I guess he just dropped like a
- 22:55diss trap. About Youngblood.
- 22:56Yeah, and it's like, why would you?
- 22:58Well, Youngblood, well, him and Youngblood have beef because
- 23:00Youngblood kind of called him out for his on the on the this
- 23:02is he and like this and I can I Ted talk?
- 23:05Yeah, and, and the Osbournes kind of family were like, yeah.
- 23:09And he's fake as fuck. And This is why people, This is
- 23:11why people like people. He's jealous of you.
- 23:13And that's why he doesn't like you because people are
- 23:15gravitating to you because you're real and he's not.
- 23:17And Sharon said that on a podcast.
- 23:18And then that's when it like went off the deep end.
- 23:21I watch this video, Youngblood, and I, I hope I'm not wrong
- 23:24about him either. But like, I watched this video
- 23:26where this guy walked up to him and he's like, not young blood.
- 23:28Yeah, he's still young blood, but he's not huge.
- 23:30And he's like, who the fuck are you?
- 23:32And he's like, I'm just, he's like, First off, I don't know
- 23:34who you are and who and I and I don't know anything about you.
- 23:37He goes, that's fair. And he just like, instead of
- 23:39being like offended by it, he's like, that's fair.
- 23:41And he's like, I'm just a singer from this town and I make music
- 23:44and I just try to do the best I can.
- 23:46And he's like, what kind of music do you make?
- 23:47And he describes his music. I think he said, I'm the I'm
- 23:51this band. And this band, if they had a, if
- 23:54they had sex and had a baby and Justin Bieber filmed it is how
- 23:57we described it. I think he says, like, the
- 23:59Arctic Monkeys and something else having sex while Justin
- 24:01Bieber films it. That's my music.
- 24:03Yeah. And.
- 24:04And the guy's like, oh. And like, like he disarmed the
- 24:07guy because the guy came hot and hostile and, like, trying to be
- 24:12like, why do you think you're so much better than us?
- 24:13Like, setting a record, Like, we're setting your records in
- 24:16the store. And he immediately didn't meet
- 24:18the energy back and just met it back with just humbleness.
- 24:21And by the end of the conversation, the guy shook his
- 24:23hand and walked away and bought his record.
- 24:25And I was just like, I like that.
- 24:27Like that was a cool interaction.
- 24:29But once again, it was on camera, so it wasn't real.
- 24:31Who knows? Yeah.
- 24:32I mean, so, yeah, that's another guy.
- 24:33I like Youngblood, and I identify with these artists
- 24:37because of what seems like authenticity.
- 24:40Yeah, yeah. People acting louder or more
- 24:45extreme just to stand out. Dude this has been a big thing
- 24:47for my mental health. Like I watch people do this and
- 24:50get rewarded for it and I'm just like, and it maybe it's a little
- 24:53jealousy because I just wouldn't do that.
- 24:56Yeah. I mean, if I'm giving a
- 24:57microphone and I'm in a ring, I will do that If I'm, if I'm.
- 25:00Asking. A character if I'm asked.
- 25:02Well, not even just being a character if I'm asked to
- 25:04perform and I have to keep a crowd's energy up.
- 25:07Yeah, I I mean, it's it's not my favorite, but I can do it.
- 25:10I mean, I've gotten pretty decent at it.
- 25:12Like you've seen me in my hometown show.
- 25:14Like you've seen me the first time in High Tension where I did
- 25:17ring announcing. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:18And then see. Good.
- 25:19Bit rough, yeah. Seen me do it at my hometown and
- 25:23I'm a different person. Like just generally.
- 25:25And I told you this before I blacked out that show.
- 25:28I don't remember any spring break show.
- 25:29Yes. I believe it, yeah.
- 25:30I mentally don't. Remember any of it and I
- 25:34remember the main event I like was sitting there watching the
- 25:37main event and I just like, I think I said to you like what
- 25:42match are we on? And you're like, this is the
- 25:43main event. And I was like, I don't remember
- 25:46this entire show. I was like, was I good?
- 25:48I generally don't. I I think I even said to you
- 25:50like it freaked me out. I was like, I don't remember the
- 25:52whole show. Like I generally was.
- 25:54I disassociated. I don't remember any like, was I
- 25:56good? And you're like, yeah, you're
- 25:57fine. And I was like, Oh my God.
- 25:59And I just aren't having a panic attack because like I had lost
- 26:02time. Like, I don't know if you've
- 26:04ever lost time. Like that I have, yeah, it's.
- 26:06Fucking scary. But I didn't come too until like
- 26:09the end of the show, I guess, when my brain was realizing
- 26:12like, you're good, you're safe, you're done.
- 26:14I still have not watched the show back.
- 26:16I've never there's two, there's two things I've never watched
- 26:19back in high tension. I've never watched spring break.
- 26:22And if I, I I lied, I did watch it, but I skipped past my my
- 26:25parts. I watched the matches 'cause
- 26:27there was matches that I didn't want to watch back.
- 26:29And I still have never watched back the trios.
- 26:33I mean, the, the tag team championship match at, at at the
- 26:37Dojo. Well.
- 26:38You know. Yeah, 'cause you're the whole
- 26:40thing with your brother, yeah. All right, so the day that we.
- 26:45Found we joke about it now like it's still I I fucked with his
- 26:48brother about I'm like remember that time?
- 26:49The day I was reaching out to everybody to tell about Jackie
- 26:53being on Hospice, I, I saw that you were at a wrestling show
- 26:58working. And I said to Rhonda, I can't
- 27:00hit up him right now because this is going to be double
- 27:03trauma. Yeah, this is like Jared 2 point
- 27:05O, right? Yeah.
- 27:07By the way, I love you, Jared. And and and and the term.
- 27:12This is another one I liked here.
- 27:13Viral doesn't always mean real. When someone goes viral, when
- 27:16someone's like, man, I went viral like, and I, and I just
- 27:19like cool, like I, I'm like, congratulations, you, you got a
- 27:22viral video, But like, was it what you wanted it to be, right?
- 27:26Is it your art that you worked super hard?
- 27:28Or did you just happen to put something out that you just
- 27:31being fun? And then it blew up?
- 27:34Because that's what happens too. Anyone can go viral at any point
- 27:37in time. You can literally be someone
- 27:39who's like a I'm a single mom who every now and then makes a
- 27:42TikTok video. And this time I made a video of
- 27:45my kid sneezing and now I'm huge.
- 27:48And then you're like, I went viral.
- 27:50Now I have to chase, keep filming my kid.
- 27:53And then you go down a spiral where you you want to, you don't
- 27:56become authentic because you're chasing that high of being viral
- 28:00again. Just look at Hawk to a girl,
- 28:02Yeah, I mean. The rise and fall.
- 28:04The rise and almost. Immediate crash.
- 28:09Yeah, she went right to scamming people immediately.
- 28:11Oh yeah, yeah. Or someone scammed people on her
- 28:14behalf and maybe she wasn't fully involved it.
- 28:16It was crazy, 'cause who knows? Got that whole media team to try
- 28:19to ride this out. Actually, in my wallet I have
- 28:22this this card. It's it's from Charli XCX Brat
- 28:27movie The the moment. So Charlie XCX is a British like
- 28:33female pop star, OK, And she made a British, well, not a
- 28:37British an A-24 movie. It was like a documentary about
- 28:40her the moment and the moment was with her album called Brat
- 28:47OK. And so they came out with this
- 28:50like debit card. Anyway, the point of that, the
- 28:53whole movie, The point is she went basically viral and had
- 28:58this big moment with Brat. It's Brat summer.
- 29:01It was like the summer where this last election was
- 29:05happening. It was Brat summer.
- 29:06She said Kamala Harris is brat. It was a huge thing.
- 29:11But then the movie is all about trying to hold on to Brat
- 29:14summer. How can we make next summer Brat
- 29:16summer? How can we extend this all
- 29:18throughout the year? So it's it's it's a weird thing,
- 29:22but there's a movie that basically ties into that.
- 29:24It's called The Moment. Yeah, I, I kind of the next
- 29:31topic here, I kind of kind of talked about the whole time,
- 29:33like I like just feeling pressure and your personal
- 29:35experience with the pressure of being authentic, like watching
- 29:39other people grow and wondering if you should change and moments
- 29:42where you questioned your approach.
- 29:45I, I honestly like, I, I changed my approach a little bit, but
- 29:49tried to stay authentically me, but I knew I was changing to for
- 29:54the right wrong reasons and I tried it for a little bit and I
- 29:57was like, I can't do this. Like I got a fucking, I got a
- 29:59retreat on this because it's just not, not who I am or what I
- 30:02want. So I, I mean, I, I've had that,
- 30:04but I, I kind of talked about it a little bit.
- 30:08Like, do you ever think about becoming the louder person in
- 30:10the room? I did and I didn't like it.
- 30:12Did you ever hold your back, hold back your real personality?
- 30:16I think sometimes when it comes to like, I, I, I generally try
- 30:19to be authentic, but I also don't always let people in when
- 30:24I'm on my lows because I feel like I let a lot of people in on
- 30:28my lows when I was going through my divorce.
- 30:31And I think a lot of people weaponized it against me, right?
- 30:35And that sucked, especially like friends, like I remember, like
- 30:39I'll say his name, I don't really care.
- 30:41But like when Pin hat hit me up. Oh, yeah.
- 30:43And he, he, I screenshotted it and I was like, he literally
- 30:48said when you were going through your thing and you were crying
- 30:51on social media, we, he literally said we were in a
- 30:54group chat with the numerous people making fun of you.
- 30:59That's mature. That's nice, you know what I'm
- 31:02saying? And then my brain spirals of
- 31:03like, well, who was all in that group chat and who can I not
- 31:06fuck with? Because like that, that's a
- 31:08whole different level of hatred, right?
- 31:10Like you're, I'm hurting. I'm at a high.
- 31:13School mentality. I'm at a point where I may
- 31:17struggle with my suicide audiation again.
- 31:19Like on Moran's podcast, I openly talked about that you did
- 31:23and people weaponize that against me.
- 31:27And then here I am at a low again and in that same group of
- 31:30friends who've heard that, listen to that and know I'm at a
- 31:33low and then you're going to brag how you and your friends
- 31:37like were were banking on my downfall.
- 31:40That sucked, dude. That made me put up a wall of
- 31:43like, do I let people in so much more more authenticity and not
- 31:48do that? Like that sucked.
- 31:50And like, Pin Hat was someone I'd looked up to.
- 31:52Which is crazy because there is a guy who was like a justice
- 31:56warrior, yeah. I won't be a bullshit.
- 31:59I won't be a bully. I won't.
- 32:00He wasn't authentic. He wasn't as authentic as we
- 32:02thought. He was, right.
- 32:03Yeah. Or here's my my empathetic.
- 32:07My empathetic side comes in or he just went through a mental
- 32:10break because people are going through them left and right.
- 32:12Now there were there were moments leading up to that where
- 32:16we were dealing with a pretty dramatic situation and he would
- 32:21be seen around or trying to position himself into places to
- 32:25where he could hear private things what he would.
- 32:30That I was getting blamed for. Well, exactly.
- 32:33As the one being. He was very clearly trying to
- 32:36hear information so that he could spread it.
- 32:38Yeah, you know the inauthentic as it gets.
- 32:41Yeah. But with with, with being
- 32:45authentic comes having to have a certain level of strength, you
- 32:51know, and and I know you talk about like, do do I sacrifice my
- 32:54authenticity for, you know, protecting my lows?
- 32:59Yeah. And you can, you can, you can
- 33:01maybe withhold it. You don't have to tell everybody
- 33:04I in the world your life. Right, yeah, I mean there's
- 33:07definitely not I don't tell everything.
- 33:09I I, I, I, I I will say like in the beginning when I said hey
- 33:12man, I actually I'm kind of like not in a great spot.
- 33:14Like I'm not diving into why or how bad it is, but I'm just
- 33:18saying like I'm not 100% right now as a as a human, as a
- 33:21content trader, as as life, as financials.
- 33:25I mean, I've never been good financials.
- 33:27I've been poor forever because I'm doing this.
- 33:29I put all my money into into this, but it's a beautiful.
- 33:33Thing, but like with with that authenticity, it's OK to also
- 33:37have boundaries man. And that's what the strength
- 33:39comes from, balancing that. Yeah, totally.
- 33:44Why? Why didn't you go that route?
- 33:46So like, why, why didn't I make these decisions constantly not
- 33:50do that? Like because I value my
- 33:52authenticity. I value who I am as a person.
- 33:54And like, I, it, it, it is something like, and I, I feel
- 33:57like for a while there I was very protective of like when
- 34:01someone questioned it, I would get upset or like, 'cause that
- 34:05was nothing to people. I, I would same person, same
- 34:08friend, friend. I don't know who the friend
- 34:10group is and I I. I'm not only.
- 34:12Imagine I'm at a point right now where I don't care.
- 34:14Yeah, I generally don't care. I think it's healthy to just let
- 34:17it go. Yeah, and I did.
- 34:20And it, it, it all stems to during our podcast, one of the
- 34:24people who I think was a catalyst for a lot of that.
- 34:28But like, I did everything I can to help uplift every scene I've
- 34:32ever talked about, whether it's music scene, whether it's the
- 34:35independent film scene, whether it's the local artist scene,
- 34:38whether it's the independent wrestling scene.
- 34:40I, I have foregone so much in my purse and I'm not looking for a
- 34:44cookie. I'm not looking for a handout.
- 34:45I'm not looking for a like adulation.
- 34:48I'm not looking for, you know that pat on the back of like you
- 34:51were the like I, I joke around and I make T-shirts of like, I'm
- 34:54the voice of the independence. But like, I put a lot of fucking
- 34:56work in and, and for people to say like I, I did it for my own
- 35:00selfish reasons. Like no, I create a platform
- 35:02that I work hard to grow so I can help be a voice to help
- 35:05other people be seen. You know what I mean?
- 35:07And. I think it shows and I think
- 35:09people know that they do. And the real ones do.
- 35:12I think when when you hear the people saying that you can, you
- 35:15can hold that mirror right back up to them.
- 35:17Oh. And, and I learned through those
- 35:20processes of like, sit back. I remember, like I said to you,
- 35:25I'm like, I think I've just generally hit a breaking point
- 35:27where I just don't care. And I was like, it will all come
- 35:31back to bite them in the ass. And it does.
- 35:33And I said, because that's another thing too, I think with
- 35:35my, my ADHD X-Men superpower, I have where I can analyze a
- 35:40situation and be like, oh, this, this, this and this, yeah, this
- 35:44is, this is how it's going to end.
- 35:46And I'm normally not wrong. Like it's, it's my maybe
- 35:52spectrum. What the fuck is my mom sending
- 35:55me? Is that Cardi B?
- 35:58No, that's me with a girl filter on.
- 35:59I don't know why I'm sending it. To her, I would bang the shit.
- 36:02Out I was a good looking girl in that filter but like wanting
- 36:06real connection. Like I big thing too is I want
- 36:09real connections. I want to build a real
- 36:10community. I want to I don't want fake
- 36:12numbers. I can.
- 36:13People go on and pay for subscribers and because they
- 36:17have a high subscriber account, they get more opportunities by
- 36:19bigger brands and bigger people to be like I have been told by
- 36:23TV wrestling companies, you cannot interview your friend who
- 36:27is in our company because you don't have enough subscribers.
- 36:30Yeah. It's been told that to me.
- 36:32Yeah, I remember. Yeah, and then I had a guy like
- 36:35Speedball, Mike Bailey, say I don't give a fuck.
- 36:37I seen your work ethic and who you are as a person at one of my
- 36:40shows where you just showed up with a trunk full of equipment
- 36:43and did everything you possibly can to make my show look and
- 36:46sound better. Never even asked to get on
- 36:48commentary, never asked to be on camera, but offered your
- 36:50services to help my show better be better.
- 36:52He was like, fuck what my company says.
- 36:54I will do an interview on your podcast.
- 36:56Yeah. And like, that's a moment of
- 36:57being authentic, like showing your authenticity and matching
- 37:01someone who's also just as authentic because he's another
- 37:04one that Speedball was working his ass off or their ass off to
- 37:09put themselves out there to grow their brand and and get to the
- 37:13next level to chase their dreams.
- 37:14But in the process of that, realize that they knew they had
- 37:17clout. They knew they had eyes on them
- 37:19and would do shows in a bar and bring people like fucking
- 37:22Journey and Junie and people who are on their first or second
- 37:25year of wrestling to wrestle someone like him or Jordan
- 37:28Oliver or Marcus Mathers who are on that next level to be the
- 37:31next phase of wrestling and and uplift other.
- 37:35People, which is a beautiful thing.
- 37:36Loves because like loves. Growing up in the era when
- 37:41speedball is training or the era when a burger is training or
- 37:45even the people before them like you hear a lot from like maybe
- 37:49the wild Samoan school or other independent schools.
- 37:52Me in like 2004 the the even John Trotsky would tell you that
- 37:59the ethos in a sense of the business was more gatekeeping
- 38:05than. And don't be authentic.
- 38:07Be what you need to be to survive.
- 38:08Kay fave 100% so like to see people now be like alright man
- 38:12this student Junie, Junie's killing it and Junie kills it.
- 38:15Yeah, he works his fucking ass. And, and, and Mike Bailey be
- 38:19like, alright, listen, I'm going to give this kid a platform.
- 38:21We're going to we're going to shoot him to the stars, take it
- 38:24and run with it. And these these kids do these
- 38:27kids do, I mean, look at. Flying Ryan's another one.
- 38:31Ryan Ryan O'Neal Mike Bailey Don Freeze yeah dude, Don free.
- 38:38I mean, I saw and I just I want to one I want to give him AI
- 38:42want to give him such a big fucking hug and I want to tell
- 38:44him like. The epitome of humble and
- 38:47waiting for your moment. I just, I, I don't think he'll
- 38:51ever be able to fully understand how fucking proud we all are of
- 38:55him right now and how much we also.
- 38:59Under undervalued him, yeah. Straight up, yeah.
- 39:02I mean I I. He walked in and we're like,
- 39:05not, not, I'm going to be complete.
- 39:07Nothing about him stood out well.
- 39:09And, and, and it just says to like, he, he's the guy in the
- 39:12back of the room. He's quiet, he's humble.
- 39:15But when he's not being loud. You give him the moment, yeah,
- 39:18it takes that fucking. Moment so just to kind of what
- 39:21we're talking about here, so he high tension did a show in
- 39:25cheeseburger school and we did a filming, which was like we were
- 39:29filming a bunch of episodes that we're going to go out for like
- 39:32the next couple months and it was all filmed in one day and we
- 39:35had invite only people in there and we filmed for hours.
- 39:39It was a long day, tons of matches, tons of people putting
- 39:43work in, working multiple times in one show.
- 39:46And at the very, very end we're like, hey, there's some people
- 39:50who showed up who were had their gear.
- 39:52They weren't necessarily on the call or to be on the show, but
- 39:56like we'll do like a scramble match and we'll give people an
- 39:59opportunity to go in there and just have their moment to to do
- 40:02one thing. Now the fans are burnt.
- 40:05They've been sitting in this building all day and and this
- 40:08one gentleman just sat there and gave all the energy to the
- 40:12people in the ring, did everything they're supposed to
- 40:14do. They they played the role of a
- 40:15fan. Then they went in the back and
- 40:18they put their gear on and even their gear did not make them
- 40:22stand out like. They're, they're like a shorter,
- 40:25chunkier dude. Don't look athletic, don't look
- 40:28anything like a pro wrestler. Look a generic guy who's just
- 40:31trying to like a 2K character, right?
- 40:34And the bell rings and they show athleticism of £110 kid.
- 40:42They're doing front flips and four 50s and Howard cartwheels
- 40:45and back handsprings and Kip UPS.
- 40:47And I think the first thing they did was the Kip up and everyone
- 40:50was like what the fuck? And this room that has been
- 40:55there for 12 hours erupts, erupts it. 13 people, 20 people,
- 41:0130 people. Felt like there was 150 and we
- 41:06it, it revitalized the room. Like we left that show feeling
- 41:10like we just went to WrestleMania and and Don had the
- 41:14opportunity for 15 minutes to showcase what he can do and he
- 41:18stole the. Fucking day.
- 41:19I remember like during that match, everybody's reacting and
- 41:22I'm standing next to Skyrus and I just look over at Skyrus.
- 41:25I'm like. And he knew.
- 41:26He knew it was going to happen. Dude, the, the smile on Skyrus's
- 41:29face, man, he's just like, yeah, dude, this is, this is the
- 41:32moment. And.
- 41:33Talk about authenticity. There's another one Oh yeah, I'm
- 41:36gonna say this and I'm. I'm gonna have Skyros back on
- 41:38the podcast very soon. Good awesome.
- 41:40He reached out to me. That guy struggles to get over
- 41:45in the world of wrestling because he's too authentic and
- 41:49he has a hard time finding a character within wrestling and
- 41:53to 'cause he does have charisma, but he doesn't know how to his
- 41:56his general self is just reserved.
- 41:59I'll let my actions do the work. He's.
- 42:00Such a reserved guy. He's he.
- 42:02He's so honest, authentic and fucking talented, you know, and
- 42:09they're honestly the the only reason that we ended up
- 42:12switching the title is because we want I well, we, I wanted an
- 42:15attitude change. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 42:17And and you know from Mike to Mike, but.
- 42:20Mike to Mike, but honestly silly Mike brought do they just do
- 42:24they legit have beef? I don't know what it is so.
- 42:30Is it the personality differences?
- 42:31I don't know what it is. Sky Risk, I think it is.
- 42:33I think it's the amount of like social media, like trolling that
- 42:38Philly Mike does because Philly Mike hit me up one day and he's
- 42:42like, Sky Risk blocked me. And I was just like, I don't
- 42:47know what that's about. And you know, Mike's such a good
- 42:50guy that he's never brought that to my attention.
- 42:52Like we just we have our me and me and Sky Risk.
- 42:55Have. We have our separate friendship.
- 42:59We, we, you know, he's grateful for everything that I've tried
- 43:02to do for him and wrestling and I'm grateful for everything he's
- 43:04done. But, you know, we, we have a
- 43:06little friendship outside of that, you know?
- 43:09I will say this, I I've seen rivalries with Skyros and and
- 43:13Sean Carr. I've seen rivalries with Skyros
- 43:15and a lot of people. I love the Mike Skyros Mikey
- 43:19Mike Philly Mike story. It's it's awesome.
- 43:22I think their differences, like I think more personality has
- 43:27come out of Mike Skyros in the high tension run with Philly
- 43:31Mike than I've ever seen in this whole run.
- 43:34That's fair. And I and I think the, the fact
- 43:36that possibly he, they don't, there's a disconnect there, but
- 43:39I would, I would explore that again because I think they make
- 43:42beautiful magic. So they're they're the idea that
- 43:44I had. I mean, obviously everything's
- 43:46been halted, right? Yeah.
- 43:47But I did want to keep keep going with Philly, Mike.
- 43:50'Cause I think they're both authentic people in their own
- 43:53way. Do you think their own way?
- 43:55I would never say Philly Mike's inauthentic.
- 43:57Not at all. And he's, he needs to become
- 44:00like, he's still a fucking troll, but he's also like the
- 44:03sweetest, like good guy. He's the same.
- 44:06He's a dude that you can generally have a, a fucking real
- 44:08conversation 'cause even me, dude, I was going through hard
- 44:10times, man. I was struggling.
- 44:12And Philly Mike's like, bro, like you're good.
- 44:13Keep doing what you're doing. I respect you.
- 44:15And I was like, I appreciate that.
- 44:16Like I, I love Philly Mike. I haven't see, I, they're
- 44:20beautiful. Like they're beautiful.
- 44:21They're beautiful people. And I'm really glad they found
- 44:23each other. Man, yeah, I do too.
- 44:25I love, I love them. But yeah, I wanted to, I wanted
- 44:29to bring it back around eventually to bring Skyrus to be
- 44:32not only the first champ of the first two time champ.
- 44:36Don't know how I would have gotten there, but that that
- 44:38still would love to be an idea that I explore one day.
- 44:42Well, we touched a little bit on the burnout aspect of this too,
- 44:44of just constant performance and mental exhaustion of trying to
- 44:47be something you're not or chasing something or should you
- 44:49change and all of that. And I've been through there and
- 44:51I'm kind of at the point now where I don't, that's not, I
- 44:53mean, I still go through burnout and exhaustion, but not, that's
- 44:55not because of the authenticity aspect.
- 44:58I, I've, I've pretty much locked in that like, I know that what
- 45:02it's going to, like I, I've met. So let's say I have 1000
- 45:07subscribers. I have 100 people who generally
- 45:09watch my content that I can have a conversation with.
- 45:12And I know everything about them and they're my community and I
- 45:14generally like, love them as people.
- 45:16And that does, you don't get that when you're trying to play
- 45:18a character, are you, you know what I mean?
- 45:20Like you just don't have that same experience.
- 45:22That at all? I do respect a good character
- 45:24though, like when someone like in especially the world of
- 45:26wrestling, when someone creates a character and they method act
- 45:29and they do that, I respect the fuck out of it.
- 45:30I've always loved the idea of playing a character in
- 45:33wrestling. I just want.
- 45:35I just want to get a confused that like I think if you're
- 45:37being fake or playing a character or if that's your
- 45:39niche within the world of content, I'm not down.
- 45:43Like I'm not saying what you're doing is wrong.
- 45:45I'm not saying what you're doing is not, I'm just saying it's not
- 45:47for me. That's fair.
- 45:48I mean, there's, I think, people.
- 45:50I think there's people who put a lot of hard work into being that
- 45:53character and there's a lot of sacrifice that you have to make
- 45:57being the character as well as like they're each side of the
- 46:01coin has its own fucking positives and.
- 46:04And negative people, when people play a character, the danger is
- 46:08getting lost, getting your true identity lost within that
- 46:11character and losing yourself. And I think what that's where a
- 46:14lot of people's burnout comes from and depression and all
- 46:18sorts of stuff like that. I personally, I love playing a
- 46:22character and then I love separating that character from
- 46:25me and also having like a public persona that is just me.
- 46:28Yeah. But here here's here's where
- 46:30that has a caveat though. So you play a character and say
- 46:34your character has views that maybe don't align with your
- 46:39morality, or you leaned into something on a political scale
- 46:43or a morality level, and now your whole fan base.
- 46:47Turns on you. No, is that aspect, and that's
- 46:50not who you are morally. Well, yeah, and that's why I
- 46:53personally. You know how many contact are
- 46:55going through that right now, I believe.
- 46:56It a lot Theo von right now. Theo Von Yeah, that whole we're
- 47:00gonna have the president on our podcast and then.
- 47:03Yeah, he's just like, yeah, kind of like liberal, but I'm like,
- 47:07I'm not either side, really. Yeah, and now you're trying to
- 47:09backtrack. But now your whole fan base went
- 47:11to you because you were you. You chose that side.
- 47:14And now the liberal side doesn't want to hear your side anymore.
- 47:17I don't doesn't want to support you.
- 47:18And the right now doesn't want to support you because you're
- 47:20now saying that you don't support what you stood for 100%
- 47:23and it's now you fucked yourself as a content creator.
- 47:26Yeah. You back yourself into a wall by
- 47:29being inauthentic. And, and here's the thing, you
- 47:31can have the president on your podcast, sure, but stay who you
- 47:35are and ask the fucking hard questions because the, the, the
- 47:38whole idea. Zach Galifianakis said this
- 47:40beautifully. Did you see the Zach
- 47:41Galifianakis clip on this? I heard where he's like comedy,
- 47:45as a comedian, you're a gesture and the gesture never sides with
- 47:49the king, right? Your, your, your job is to
- 47:52challenge the king. And, and when so I don't know.
- 47:56I never understood when a comedian is trying to buddy up
- 47:59with someone on the top, when your job is to question that as
- 48:02a comedian, you're, you're, you're here to make fun of and,
- 48:05and and laugh at the establishment.
- 48:07You're going into the job as a gesture, knowing the fact that
- 48:11you may be beheaded because you're doing it.
- 48:13Right. Well, as you find out that like,
- 48:15you're not really there for the purity of comedy, you're there
- 48:19for the views and the money. Yeah.
- 48:22And and the popularity and that's tough.
- 48:24That's really. Tough.
- 48:25Then you lose it because like that's, that is the problem.
- 48:27One of the reasons that I'm very indifferent is because I, I am
- 48:31able to see two sides of things. And I'm the perspectives thing,
- 48:35I'm going to dip into that again because I can have friends who
- 48:38are Republicans and Democrats. I've I've switched myself.
- 48:42Like when George Bush was president, like when it was him
- 48:46or John Kerry, I was George Bush.
- 48:48But when you bring Obama, I'm Obama because I understand that
- 48:52somebody's character says a lot more about.
- 48:54The I don't mind Republicans. I don't like MAGA.
- 48:56No, 100%, absolutely. That's my line, yeah, yeah.
- 48:59But like, you know, some people don't know the difference.
- 49:02I mean, when, when, when McCain and Obama debated, it was a
- 49:05beautiful thing. They didn't make fun of each
- 49:08other's wives, you know what I mean?
- 49:10Like, like it it, it just, it turned into Jerry Springer.
- 49:12There used to be a level of respect and dignity within the
- 49:15politics, or at least publicly facing respect and dignity.
- 49:20So I have all my notes here and we've kind of just essentially
- 49:23have done them all just by having natural conversation, to
- 49:25be completely honest. So I I I mean, we talked about
- 49:28it IIA lot of it, but I what another thing I want to do is is
- 49:30there anything else? Like I don't want to say like
- 49:32make it about me, but like watching my journey is like you
- 49:36said you had some questions or things you wanted to bring up
- 49:37that is there anything that we didn't cover?
- 49:40That we've, we've kind of gone there.
- 49:42Like I said, there's that one person you've worked with who I
- 49:44find to be very inauthentic, yet he reaps a lot of rewards.
- 49:48Now. I don't know if they're buying
- 49:50views. I assume they did.
- 49:52I don't know if you know. I never confront, I never asked
- 49:55them about it, but they're. When I when I look at their
- 49:58views versus their subscribership, it's the math
- 50:01doesn't work, Yeah. But they also they do a thing
- 50:06that a lot of other content creators do is where they go to
- 50:08big spaces and their then their bit is while they're in the
- 50:12spaces is like, here's my business card, scan it and
- 50:14subscribe to me in front of me. And this is.
- 50:17A bit we tried to do. And, and, and when you do that,
- 50:21if you're willing to put the work in, you can get 1000
- 50:23subscribers that day, right? Yeah, Yeah.
- 50:26So you're going to have the subscriber count, but are they
- 50:28generally going to go TuneIn? Right.
- 50:30And that was my philosophy. When we sent you guys to Icons
- 50:33to try to draw ticket sales, were we going to draw ticket
- 50:36sales? We did a few.
- 50:37Absolutely. We did.
- 50:38We did a few. You know, are those going to be
- 50:40retained fans? Not necessarily.
- 50:42That was our job. So do you want to?
- 50:45I'll talk about that day real quick.
- 50:46That day. I struggled with my authenticity
- 50:48that day. Oh, because of icons.
- 50:51Because around that time is when I found out the truth behind
- 50:55icons. So I knew a little bit about it
- 50:58and I, you know, there was the silent partner, but we knew.
- 51:08Here's my thing. I knew that the silent partner
- 51:12was there, but then the person who was running it, if you I'm
- 51:17I'll just I'll say what I'll say names.
- 51:19If you go back and watch the video when that when that person
- 51:22gets caught on camera. There's also somebody else with
- 51:25that same name. You showed me that.
- 51:26They they they don't call him by his name.
- 51:29They call him by his other, by his friend's name.
- 51:32Yeah. And when then he retreats to the
- 51:33car to escape, to flee the scene, that person's in the
- 51:37front seat. Yeah.
- 51:38So he's never been questioned or commented, but the footage is
- 51:42there and if you put two and two together you get 4 and they were
- 51:47both there that day for the same exact reason.
- 51:49Yeah. So like ever since that, ever
- 51:51since I learned that ever since that day, we've never been back
- 51:54or tried to be back. I've never associated or tried
- 51:56to work with them again out of respect that day because.
- 51:59There's a lot of cool people I want to go there and content
- 52:01creators of people I want to support and stuff, but it's just
- 52:03like I can't. I can't go to those shows.
- 52:05Yeah, I had to learn to not judge other people if they take
- 52:08a booking off that. Yeah, well, you still need to,
- 52:16especially wrestlers, they need to pursue whatever is going to
- 52:20push them. You know, there's a lot of hard
- 52:22work that is only going to pay off by being at certain places
- 52:25at certain times. Yeah.
- 52:26You know, so I'm. I'm not mad.
- 52:27I mean, I thought even the whole thing that somebody else that we
- 52:34both have worked with in the past was championing the
- 52:37champion. Championing.
- 52:39Yeah, this idea of not working at an auction house that had a.
- 52:46Swastika. Swastika hanging a or a flag
- 52:49with a swastika on it, a Nazi flag hanging in it.
- 52:53But like also it's an auction house that sells and auctions
- 52:57historical items. Yeah, the problem with that one
- 53:00though, and I will defend them on this.
- 53:01One, they hesitated to take it down.
- 53:02Not they didn't just hesitate to take it down when questioned why
- 53:06they they came up with that rebuttal, which is good answer,
- 53:09but then they doubled down and said, if you thought that was
- 53:11offensive, wait, do you see what me and my friends shirts say?
- 53:14So they leaned into like, well, we're free speech.
- 53:16We could do it and say we want sure.
- 53:18So they kind of leaned into the Nazi flag and like, we could be
- 53:22worse, right? Yeah.
- 53:24And I understand people having issues with that, but like, do
- 53:28you know how hard it is to find a damn venue in Pro?
- 53:31Wrestling, you know how hard it is for me not to go to that show
- 53:33because it was the only at the time was the only show in School
- 53:36County that was doing wrestling. Yeah, I believe it.
- 53:39Man, that was tough. Yeah.
- 53:40Especially when you're being invited there to make content.
- 53:42And I was like, I can't, can't do it because he hates me now.
- 53:46I actually tried to reach out to him and send him a message.
- 53:49Yeah, I love the guy. I, I, I credit a lot of my skill
- 53:53and credit and what I did on commentary and learning a lot
- 53:56and, and just, I had a lot of really good conversations with
- 53:58that person. I just, I didn't like, I'm sorry
- 54:01to cut you off, you're good. I didn't like.
- 54:04I understand the apprehension of working at a place that does
- 54:08that. I didn't like the virtue
- 54:11signalling and the I'm going to out every single person who's
- 54:15going to try to do that because why are you that person?
- 54:18Yeah, why do you have to be that guy?
- 54:20You know, and I feel like this is attention seeking.
- 54:23This is this is your personality.
- 54:25And eventually people are going to get sick of you, which I did
- 54:28almost exclusively for. A lot of people, a lot of people
- 54:31did. And I'm I kind of was in the
- 54:33same boat with him. Like me and him, we're both very
- 54:35virtual seeking and and like we won't.
- 54:37I lost probably my biggest payday in Jersey because I was
- 54:40like, I'm not working with this. But also the dude that I said
- 54:42I'm not working with was bringing someone around who was
- 54:44generally essentially sexually harassing a friend of ours via
- 54:48the Internet. Oh yeah, no.
- 54:49And I was like. That guy's a piece of shit.
- 54:51Won't. Be there because.
- 54:53Well see, I respected you removing yourself.
- 54:56Well, I was also removed because I thought I was I the guy.
- 55:00The kid then called me a pussy and said I was this and said I
- 55:03was that. And then I said cool, I'm booked
- 55:06next month. You're booked next month.
- 55:07We'll go outside and talk about it.
- 55:09And then when that was brought up, they're like, hey, don't
- 55:12show up. Right.
- 55:14Well, that that guy is also using any bit of clout he can
- 55:18get to draw attention to. Him he's also doing he's he's
- 55:21rage baiting people to get attention.
- 55:22That's that's his whole gimmick. Yeah, that's exactly.
- 55:24And I fell for it like an idiot. But yeah, man, then they fired
- 55:29Pete. Oops, I love him.
- 55:33I like I respect him. I know you're you have to.
- 55:36I know he thinks that me and you conspired to get him fired, but
- 55:39like. He did it to himself, man.
- 55:41But the furthest thing from the truth I never once told you.
- 55:43If anything, I was telling you like yo, I want to work with
- 55:46Pete, keep him there so I can come in and work with him too.
- 55:48I never fired him he just stopped showing up to bookings
- 55:52like because he took other bookings over ours which is like
- 55:54fine we were drew like 14 and people at that time I didn't
- 55:57care but. I mean, now that's on camera, I
- 55:59was championing for I I I know you were.
- 56:01Yeah, I never once, like once again, I think that in a circle
- 56:06of people were making you the villain via via me the villain,
- 56:10and they were telling him bullshit.
- 56:12I my thing is for me personally. I generally.
- 56:15Miss the parts that turned me off were when he was supposed to
- 56:19show up to do work and the work took a back seat so that he
- 56:25could do his own social media thing.
- 56:27Well, there was that. Well, can we, can we, can I be
- 56:29honest about that? This, then this is probably
- 56:31going to get me shit and hate. He was trying to replicate the,
- 56:35the, the company that was coming in and taking his work.
- 56:40Like, I'm not trying to be a Dick.
- 56:43I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm genuinely dreading saying this because
- 56:46it's going to cause issues. But like the 57-O experience
- 56:49showed up, I'm not saying this 'cause I don't like them.
- 56:52I'm not saying this 'cause I have beef.
- 56:54I'm not saying this 'cause I don't like them as humans.
- 56:56But when Pete is putting the work in to be a commentary
- 56:59person and putting all the work in for the post production to be
- 57:02done so commentary could be heard and all of the matches are
- 57:05getting thousands of views and being put out before the
- 57:08commentary is even being laid down on it.
- 57:10He's sitting back on why the fuck am I doing commentary when
- 57:13I could just walk around the ring and do what they're doing
- 57:15and get views and grow. OK, I get that.
- 57:17I I. So he's pivoting to try to get
- 57:20the views. That also makes sense is why he
- 57:23was hating me because I wasn't pushing out that.
- 57:26And you were taking the you were taking too long to get the the
- 57:29commentary out. But also I was burnt the fuck
- 57:31out. Exactly.
- 57:32I was doing, there was a lot of miscommunication and I was
- 57:34trying to bridge that. I even offered I didn't like
- 57:39that team of people. Not the 57-O team, the team at
- 57:42Smash. I'll be honest, there's no love
- 57:44loss. Me and Ross don't get along.
- 57:46We don't like each other, whatever it may be.
- 57:48I understand I was offering, even though he fucking hated me,
- 57:52to take the workload off you so the commentary can get out.
- 57:54So because I knew how much it meant for Pete to be done.
- 57:57Am I wrong or am I? No, I mean, that's true.
- 58:00And, and, and you ran it by people and they said no, we'd
- 58:02rather you just do it. Which I understand took a long
- 58:07time. Yes but also who went back and
- 58:10fucking clipped every single fucking high tension and smash
- 58:15show so clips can get out four P?
- 58:18That's that's I didn't know that that was the reason, but that
- 58:22makes sense. But who did that?
- 58:23I know you did that. Exactly.
- 58:24But like, but that's what I'm saying.
- 58:25Like. But then he was told that I was
- 58:27sabotaging him, which is so further from the truth.
- 58:30And and like, once again, I'm not shitting on the 570
- 58:32experience, but they also, I don't think they're aware of
- 58:36like when you're doing your footage, I know you're getting a
- 58:38lot of views and you're growing your brand.
- 58:40But like when you're working for a company who's putting the work
- 58:43in to have a vision of what they want that what they want their
- 58:47company to be perceived at with lower thirds and commentary team
- 58:51and camera cuts and this and that, You erase that by taking
- 58:55that footage and posting it online for your own status of
- 58:59your own personal gain. I think there's like a
- 59:01breakdown. I'm going to play devil's
- 59:04advocate in their views and their mentality and in their
- 59:08company mantra. They're doing it because they've
- 59:11been told by so many of the boys taking a shot at you.
- 59:16It took too long for them to get their footage.
- 59:18So they were doing they were created to be the Ant the the
- 59:21anti production because the boys wanted their footage so they can
- 59:24put their footage out. But there is a process to
- 59:27production. It's not just slapping your logo
- 59:29on the top bottom corner, hitting send, and then just
- 59:32posting it. So also like to to in their
- 59:35favor, there's a, a divide between creating an entire show
- 59:43to consume, which is my thing, and the mentality of getting the
- 59:50content out there as quickly and fast as possible so that it can
- 59:54be consumed because as soon as it gets out there, now you're as
- 1:00:00soon as that content. Gets out there or if it's
- 1:00:04delayed that like for some reason it might not have its
- 1:00:08chance to be seen. You know what I mean?
- 1:00:10It's this instant gratification thing that people are obsessed
- 1:00:14with with social media. And it's like every time you see
- 1:00:18a news story, if that once, once we stop talking about one thing,
- 1:00:22the next week, we've already forgot about that last thing.
- 1:00:25It's a struggle. So I I think that's also the
- 1:00:27philosophy of the content. So like, just because that
- 1:00:30philosophy wasn't my philosophy doesn't mean that like I dislike
- 1:00:34what they're doing. It just didn't vibe with what I
- 1:00:37was creating, which made me also feel less and this is maybe also
- 1:00:43like Pete feel less inclined to rush my process or, you know,
- 1:00:49sacrifice my day or two off to rush that process along, you
- 1:00:55know, because I'm like, yeah, the footage are already out
- 1:00:57there. What am I doing exactly?
- 1:00:59You know, And that's no, that's no hate on anybody in along that
- 1:01:03process or on that team. For me, it's just like it just
- 1:01:07further pushed me to do less, yeah.
- 1:01:11Yeah, this is a good conversation.
- 1:01:13I know, I know. It's, it's still based in the
- 1:01:15realm of content creating and authenticity.
- 1:01:19But honestly, I think this is a good conversation because if
- 1:01:21people don't do listen to this, they would be like, oh, there
- 1:01:23was a there was a disconnect there.
- 1:01:24This is why I like chatting with you.
- 1:01:25We should do this more often. No, I'm down.
- 1:01:27I'm down to do more often. What if we do this like every
- 1:01:29Sunday? We just chat.
- 1:01:30We. Report Sundays.
- 1:01:32Every. Maybe like once a month.
- 1:01:33All right, I'm down. You know, to start.
- 1:01:36Well, here I'll give you kind of a rundown.
- 1:01:38Actually, I don't know how long it's going to take me.
- 1:01:39To, but just just to, you know, put a recap because there have
- 1:01:42been moments and, and this comes down to authenticity where like
- 1:01:46I've played a character with the people in the 57-O group and
- 1:01:50some, some of the people over it, like Smash.
- 1:01:54And we we had planned to play this like a character where I
- 1:01:57was going to be like, I was going to lash out at them for
- 1:02:00certain, like semi shoot things, but then eventually have my come
- 1:02:06to Jesus moment with them. And then we shot on each other
- 1:02:10online for a little bit. And then it got to the point
- 1:02:12where like I couldn't run shows anymore and we never got to like
- 1:02:15fulfill those things. So it just looks like we had
- 1:02:17this beef that we didn't. Yeah, I, I.
- 1:02:19You know, as people, I think we all have the best intentions and
- 1:02:23the love for the business and are in different approaches.
- 1:02:27Totally agree. I, I, I don't, I think their
- 1:02:31business model isn't great for a company's growth when they're
- 1:02:34trying to grow on their own. I think it's great for their
- 1:02:36growth as someone who has learned from the production side
- 1:02:41of how difficult it is to do editing on just two camera cuts,
- 1:02:45the hard Cam and a roving Cam, and then add the commentary on
- 1:02:48it and sync everything up it it's very time consuming and
- 1:02:51it's it's a lot of fucking. Work.
- 1:02:52You're spending at least a day just offloading and syncing.
- 1:02:56Yes yeah 100% it's a whole day offloading and then a whole day
- 1:02:58syncing and then a whole day re watching the entire show making.
- 1:03:02Your cuts and then re watching it back another day for
- 1:03:04processing and the. Cameras are all set the same.
- 1:03:07Oh my God. And it's a whole thing.
- 1:03:08But tell Yeah, so when? So for a while there I was just
- 1:03:12like, I wasn't a bitter, but I was like, bro, it's it it really
- 1:03:15you, you threw the footage in, you cut out the beginning, you
- 1:03:19cut out the end, you slapped your logo on the bottom corner
- 1:03:21and then you put it out. But like that doesn't help the
- 1:03:23company you're filming that forget any exposure.
- 1:03:26Like no one's subscribing to the YouTube channel.
- 1:03:27They're all like the fans have learned now to go to your
- 1:03:31website to watch the show. And some of them, you were doing
- 1:03:33it so quickly. The fans were like, I don't even
- 1:03:36need to pay for a ticket 'cause I know the whole show's up the
- 1:03:37next day. That so that's another reason
- 1:03:40that I don't like streaming content, because there was a
- 1:03:45point where people were asking me like, hey, can we go live?
- 1:03:47And I'm like, that's great, but what about your ticket sales?
- 1:03:50You want to go live free to YouTube or live free to
- 1:03:52Facebook? You're not selling any tickets.
- 1:03:55When we would do that at Camp Leapfrog, we would go live for
- 1:03:59free as a benefit for like some sort of charity and then do a
- 1:04:04fundraising Dr. Yeah, you know, did that make us any money?
- 1:04:08No. But like, at least it wasn't for
- 1:04:10nothing. Yeah, it was.
- 1:04:11There was more of a, a, a growth there.
- 1:04:13I just gotta get a little closer.
- 1:04:15So here's what we got for the upcoming stuff.
- 1:04:17The next episode's gonna be Wish Things I Wish I Knew in my 20s,
- 1:04:21being the weird kid slash outsider.
- 1:04:24The truth about intrusive intrusive thoughts, small
- 1:04:27creator problems that nobody talks about.
- 1:04:30Nobody owes you support. I like that one a lot.
- 1:04:33I can't wait to do that episode. Why?
- 1:04:34I'm building the cult of ABJ and running my first music festival
- 1:04:38slash event. Yeah, that's the first 10.
- 1:04:41And the next ones are going to be the difference between fame
- 1:04:43and respect. How rejection changed me.
- 1:04:46How humor became my coping mechanism.
- 1:04:48OK, I'll be I'll join on that one.
- 1:04:50How human became a coping mechanism.
- 1:04:51That's my whole life, man. Learning to love yourself.
- 1:04:54Why? Why confidence took me so long
- 1:04:56to build. The battle between ego and
- 1:04:58insecurity. How I stopped how how I learned
- 1:05:01to stop caring. What people think took forever.
- 1:05:04I'm still kind of there, but it's hard.
- 1:05:05Why am I? Why I overthink everything.
- 1:05:08The fear of not living up to my potential.
- 1:05:10And then once I kind of get those like me type episodes that
- 1:05:15kind of get that out there, then it gets in the wild of horror,
- 1:05:18pop culture, pop culture, pro wrestling fans, the beauty of
- 1:05:21craft beer, conspiracy theories that fascinate me.
- 1:05:24Then I'm like, it becomes more of a weekly episode of like,
- 1:05:27hey, we're going to talk about this or that.
- 1:05:29Or a lot of like getting to really know you and then let's
- 1:05:33have some fun. Yeah.
- 1:05:34And then if there's like, hey, there's something going on
- 1:05:37socially that I want to talk about or the the world or the
- 1:05:40climate or stuff like this, then I would love to have you know,
- 1:05:43but I don't want to say this is open for everybody.
- 1:05:46So if you're watching this, like when can I get on that solo?
- 1:05:48You probably can't. I'm going to be honest.
- 1:05:51You can come on five question with ABJ and I'll extend them a
- 1:05:53little bit and we have more of a conversation and maybe turn a 15
- 1:05:56minute ABJ into like a 35 minute episode of ABJ.
- 1:05:59Sammy Chaos is great at that. We did that.
- 1:06:01I did that with her and ruthless Lala has 1 coming out.
- 1:06:03That's a little bit God, I love her.
- 1:06:05But the connection was so bad. So we couldn't bounce back and
- 1:06:07forth. It sucked.
- 1:06:08We're going to run it back though, but yes, but I'm going
- 1:06:13to be honest, this this is going to be pretty much you're going
- 1:06:15to just probably pretty much only see you here and we'll
- 1:06:19close out real quick with it. Have you, because we're both in
- 1:06:22a popcorn. Have you seen anything recently
- 1:06:24or watched or listened to anything that like tickled your
- 1:06:27fancy? I.
- 1:06:27Didn't love Super Mario Galaxy? Really, I fell asleep twice only
- 1:06:31because the theater was so fucking cold and I was
- 1:06:34exhausted, but from what I've seen I really enjoyed.
- 1:06:37OK, Yeah, yeah. I don't know.
- 1:06:39It just it wasn't really hitting for me.
- 1:06:41I fell asleep. I first watched through, then I
- 1:06:44gave it another shot and it was like it was OK.
- 1:06:46I felt like the first movie was better.
- 1:06:48But Star Fox. Cool.
- 1:06:50Yeah. Cool, cool, cool, cool.
- 1:06:51Yeah, he wants to get his own video game, too.
- 1:06:53Oh, I saw a new game trailer. I seen Begonia.
- 1:06:57Oh, that was awesome. That was a cool movie.
- 1:06:59A really cool movie. Did you?
- 1:07:01Did you guess it? Yeah, I'm.
- 1:07:04I'm bad, dude. I'm really bad.
- 1:07:06It's not that I guessed it, but it was the ending I wanted.
- 1:07:09That's exactly what I said, Yeah.
- 1:07:11So when we were watching it, I was like, Lily, I want to say
- 1:07:13something, but if I'm fucking right, I'm going to be really
- 1:07:15mad at myself that I'm going to fuck this up for you.
- 1:07:18And she's like, what? And I was like, I'm not going to
- 1:07:19say nothing. And she's like, what?
- 1:07:21And I was like, I don't want to say it.
- 1:07:22And she's like, just say it. And I was like, I'm not going to
- 1:07:26say because the spoiler for you guys if you haven't seen it, but
- 1:07:27I was like, this is how I would book it.
- 1:07:29Yeah, yeah. And she's like, what?
- 1:07:31I'm like, this is what I would do.
- 1:07:32That's how I was. And then it did.
- 1:07:34And I was like, fuck yes. Yeah, that's the whole movie.
- 1:07:37I'm like man, this is so funny. Because even when she even when
- 1:07:40she like comes out, she doesn't fully come out to the audience.
- 1:07:44But like if your problem solver like me like she did it, you
- 1:07:48know what I mean? It was so good, good movie.
- 1:07:50Go watch it, but go on you. And you know, I do.
- 1:07:52I wasn't going to watch my my buddy Reese from episode 3 of my
- 1:07:56podcast or episode 4 actually. He was like, do you got to watch
- 1:08:00this movie? Got to watch this movie?
- 1:08:02I was just like, I don't know, I'm kind of not into it.
- 1:08:04And then? Fuck I just watched Death of a
- 1:08:06Unicorn. What?
- 1:08:07Do you think? I I knew how it was going to
- 1:08:11play out 15 minutes in OK, So I didn't pay attention as much as
- 1:08:14I should have. I didn't hate the movie, but
- 1:08:17it's definitely not one I'd probably rewatch.
- 1:08:19I'm kind of the same way I. I.
- 1:08:21I don't need it. I appreciated it.
- 1:08:23I thought Jenny Ortega and Paul Paul were fun were fun together.
- 1:08:27The kid from Shameless We are the Millers was great in it.
- 1:08:32He was fun as like like the unicorns looked cool.
- 1:08:35They the Unicorn lore I thought was cool and well done.
- 1:08:38The premise of the movie was cool, but I don't think it's one
- 1:08:40I would like go out of my way to watch it.
- 1:08:43I don't think, I don't think it needs to be revisited.
- 1:08:45Yeah, it was fine for one watch. But I thought, I thought it was
- 1:08:47fine, I didn't hate it. Trying to think what else I just
- 1:08:51started watching Snits. Creek I I never got into that.
- 1:08:54I tried a few times. I, I'm, I'm, I'm really liking
- 1:08:57it. Cool.
- 1:08:58Yeah, it's I'm pretty into it music wise.
- 1:09:01I don't think I've really listened to anything new.
- 1:09:05But yeah, I'm just I'm just trying to think else like pop
- 1:09:07culture wise, trailer wise. I will say that move, I don't
- 1:09:11know what it's called. No, it's like the forgotten city
- 1:09:13or something, but it's kind of like K pop Demon Hunter anime
- 1:09:17meets beyond the spider verse at where it's 2 girls.
- 1:09:20There was there in the Mario trailer.
- 1:09:22I didn't see it in theaters. You.
- 1:09:23Bootleg, bootleg. Yeah, you're a bootlegger.
- 1:09:26But it's about these two girls who are like weird girls that
- 1:09:29become friends and then they go all through life and then they
- 1:09:32get sucked into this weird portal and then like, like
- 1:09:35they're going to forget each other by the end of it.
- 1:09:38It's really cool, animation looks fun.
- 1:09:40That sounds good. That one looks good.
- 1:09:43I'm not into the Minions movies at all, but the new minion in
- 1:09:47monsters looks funny. Yeah, that one looks pretty
- 1:09:50funny. They try to summon the Cthulhu.
- 1:09:53Oh, I mean. And then they summoned a bunch
- 1:09:55of monsters. That was pretty fun.
- 1:09:58Lily, whatever the what were the other trailers I thought were
- 1:10:01cool? She has headphones and I think
- 1:10:05which one? He man, Oh he man.
- 1:10:08I'm. I've never got into the cartoon.
- 1:10:10Of he man me either, that's why I'm not.
- 1:10:12But the new movie looks. Awesome.
- 1:10:14Yeah, I'm gonna watch it. I don't know if I'm gonna go to
- 1:10:16theaters to see it though. Yeah, I don't know about the
- 1:10:17theaters, but I'm pumped to see it.
- 1:10:19The new Supergirl looks great. I'm.
- 1:10:21Excited. I'm sold on the James Gunn
- 1:10:22universe. Did you watch Peacemaker 2 yet?
- 1:10:25No, come on, man. Yeah, I had to get.
- 1:10:26I had to do it. You need to watch that before
- 1:10:29you watch Supergirl. Really.
- 1:10:30Yeah. You do.
- 1:10:31OK. OK.
- 1:10:31All right, I'll, I'll work on that.
- 1:10:32Maybe. What else did I Oh, Doomsday,
- 1:10:37are you are you are you excited for the Doomsday Avengers?
- 1:10:39Doomsday I'm. Burnt out on waiting for it.
- 1:10:42OK. But I yeah, of course I'm going
- 1:10:44to see it probably first day. I love Doom, but I don't know
- 1:10:46how I feel about Robert Robert Downey Junior being Doom.
- 1:10:49The the the lore has to be dead on.
- 1:10:52Perfect. Yeah, Like there can't be any
- 1:10:54loose. We have to go see.
- 1:10:55Oh, you know what I want to go see with you?
- 1:10:57The Odyssey. No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:10:59I think you want to see the. Odyssey would be 1 I think it
- 1:11:01would be me, you and Lily goes. But I don't know if Lily would
- 1:11:03be interested in going to the one I want to go see, but I know
- 1:11:06you will be. I want to go see the new Mummy
- 1:11:08movie. I do too.
- 1:11:09Lee Cronenberg's Mummy Man. Looks crazy and he says it's in
- 1:11:13the Evil Dead universe. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:15Well it it does somehow it relate.
- 1:11:17Yeah, I need that. I need that.
- 1:11:19It relates to Evil Dead Burn, yeah, Which is also, I mean, not
- 1:11:22burn, rise, rise, but then also Evil Dead Burn looks amazing.
- 1:11:28Yeah, that's I have and then that.
- 1:11:29Show relates back that movie relates back to the first Evil
- 1:11:33Dead. And the first Evil Dead movie
- 1:11:35where it says four people burned in cabin.
- 1:11:38It alerts to the the remake. No shit.
- 1:11:42Yeah, that's cool. I, I'm, I'm pumped.
- 1:11:45I'm so I guess like the archaeologist from Rise is the
- 1:11:49same one who finds the stuff for the mummy.
- 1:11:51Which is the voice of Bruce Campbell?
- 1:11:52Is it really? Yeah.
- 1:11:54I'm pretty sure that. That was so fucking in.
- 1:11:56So I didn't get into the Evil Dead movies until I went to see
- 1:12:00the Evil Dead the musical stage production.
- 1:12:04I don't you if you. I haven't seen it.
- 1:12:07If it ever happens anywhere close, we have to go.
- 1:12:09OK, it's it's one of the most fun, hilarious, bloody
- 1:12:15adventures you'll ever have. Are you for going to New York
- 1:12:17City? I mean, I'll do it as long as I
- 1:12:20have the money. Have you ever done it?
- 1:12:22I've never been to the city so I don't know how to navigate it.
- 1:12:25Oh yeah, no, I can do it. It's just a grid.
- 1:12:27But I in high school, I went with the drama.
- 1:12:31I went to England with them, and then we went to New York and we
- 1:12:36took an acting class with one of the actresses from the Rent
- 1:12:40stage production. And then we saw Rent that night.
- 1:12:42Got you. Really.
- 1:12:43I want to see my first Broadway show.
- 1:12:46I'm actually trying to figure out what Broadway show I'm going
- 1:12:49to see when I'm in England this summer.
- 1:12:50I need to see Rocky Horror Picture show on Broadway.
- 1:12:55Yeah, who's going to be in that? The dude from Knives Out plays.
- 1:12:59OK. Yeah, I saw Megan the stallion
- 1:13:02is going to be in Moulin Rouge on Broadway, too.
- 1:13:05I kind of want to check that out.
- 1:13:06All right. Well, she's totally down.
- 1:13:08She's been telling me she wants to go do it, so we'll have to
- 1:13:10make a plan to do. I just don't know my way around.
- 1:13:12The city is my big thing. That's where I struggle.
- 1:13:14Yeah, trains will take you everywhere.
- 1:13:16Yeah, All right, that's going to do it.
- 1:13:18Episode 3 in the books. I will try to do these more
- 1:13:21frequently. So I'm, I'm, I'm I want to cheat
- 1:13:24and I want to film a bunch of them in one day and then just
- 1:13:26post them all. But I also want to keep you guys
- 1:13:28on the on the up of like, hey, this is what happened to me this
- 1:13:31week. This is kind of so like I want
- 1:13:32you to hear the stories and, but also like, if you want more of a
- 1:13:35deeper dive of what's going on, that's where the vlog's going to
- 1:13:37kick in, where you guys can check out the vlog.
- 1:13:39And I may or may not film. I didn't film anything at PBW.
- 1:13:43So I found this new product. Today, what's that it's called?
- 1:13:45Lucky. What's that like?
- 1:13:47LO OK, I it's just AI based like a body Cam and it literally like
- 1:13:5412 hours. It'll stay on your body all day
- 1:13:57long and it'll make a vlog of your day.
- 1:13:59Really It'll automatically make a vlog of your day at the end of
- 1:14:02your week. It'll make a comic book strip of
- 1:14:04your week. So.
- 1:14:06Look, send me that. I'm going to try it out.
- 1:14:07Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it edits for you too.
- 1:14:10Yeah, so I figured, man, what? I'm in when.
- 1:14:12We're at like conventions that we don't want to pull it out.
- 1:14:15It's just on and then the vlogs at the.
- 1:14:17End. Yeah, but some places will be
- 1:14:18like, hey, take that camera off at least.
- 1:14:19Some places don't want the camera.
- 1:14:20Possibly. Because like, Billy Loomis was
- 1:14:22like, no cameras. On Oh did he?
- 1:14:23Yeah, he had a sign on this table.
- 1:14:26Yeah. So that that's something.
- 1:14:28I didn't film anything at PPW. Yeah.
- 1:14:31I, I'll talk about a little bit with you, but not, I won't go
- 1:14:34into full detail, but I, I, I'm done there.
- 1:14:38Interesting 22 podcasts in one week.
- 1:14:40I talk about endings at PPE I I. No disrespect.
- 1:14:44I have no beef. No, it's not like I'm leaving on
- 1:14:46a bad note. I backstage is just not where my
- 1:14:49heart's AT. Yeah.
- 1:14:51And I'm not feeling it. And I feel like they have a
- 1:14:53really good team there with Shearson and Nate and I just
- 1:14:57like, I was there last night and I was like, they're like, you
- 1:15:00want to do one? I was like, no, I, I think it
- 1:15:02has a lot to my mental health right now too.
- 1:15:04And I'm just like, I'm very protective of my energy and my
- 1:15:08time and my efforts. And like, I just filled my gas
- 1:15:12tank and it was really fucking expensive.
- 1:15:14And then I go there and it doesn't quit equate to me
- 1:15:17feeding myself for the day, driving there to do it and then
- 1:15:21driving home and then come home and editing it all and then
- 1:15:25putting it on my social. It just doesn't, it doesn't make
- 1:15:27sense for me to do it. And I know the talent love me
- 1:15:30being the backstage guy. They love interacting with me
- 1:15:32and doing it. But it's just, it's not where my
- 1:15:35heart's at. I'm a, I'm a commentary guy.
- 1:15:36I want to do commentary. That's fair.
- 1:15:38I want to do ring announcing. I want to be with the crowd.
- 1:15:40I want to be in front of a crowd.
- 1:15:42I can't grow my brand in a local wrestling scene backstage and,
- 1:15:48and I'm not trying to be, I'm not going to be me when I say
- 1:15:50this, but I generally feel like as the backstage interviewer
- 1:15:53there, I felt like I was a different entity than the
- 1:15:55company. I felt like I was a freelance
- 1:15:57person because they even weren't showing the content of.
- 1:16:00Us being so that's how I saw that a couple people or probably
- 1:16:04a lot of people on TikTok and stuff like that found you
- 1:16:07through stopping and watching your backstage content.
- 1:16:10They did. You know, so I, I am taking a
- 1:16:13hit on that and I think like, I think where I would possibly be
- 1:16:18more inclined to do backstage interviews is if I felt like the
- 1:16:21backstage team was also part of the company team.
- 1:16:26You know what I mean? We don't really get a lot of
- 1:16:29feedback on what we need to do and talk about.
- 1:16:32We don't get a lot of notes. We don't get a lot.
- 1:16:34And then they don't tell the people like, hey, you must go
- 1:16:37back there and get a promo for next week.
- 1:16:39We have to hunt them down. It feels like we're like our own
- 1:16:42separate entity and have to do all the work for them and then
- 1:16:46they don't really reciprocate by even showing it on their own
- 1:16:48social media pages. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:50And it's just like, I, I feel like it's a waste of time and
- 1:16:52like, no disrespect, I love them.
- 1:16:54They're great. But as like a content creator,
- 1:16:56that is time that I could be putting forth.
- 1:16:58Like last night was a pay review.
- 1:17:00I could have went live on the AW pay review and fucking got just
- 1:17:03as many viewers live streaming something and never leaving my
- 1:17:07house. Like, I just have to find that
- 1:17:08balance, you know? Yeah.
- 1:17:10Or I could have just stayed home and hung out with family and
- 1:17:12friends and. And not have a as as important
- 1:17:16to do, man, I think, I think just the the idea is just be
- 1:17:20authentic to you. Do do, do act on your highest
- 1:17:23excitement. Yeah.
- 1:17:25So whatever, whatever you're feeling that day, if it's not
- 1:17:27going to PPW, if it's staying at home and just hanging, just do
- 1:17:31that. Yeah, that's kind of where I'm
- 1:17:32at. And you'll be all the happier
- 1:17:34for it. You forgot what I was going to
- 1:17:38say. Oh, do you think that the gas
- 1:17:43prices are going to take a major hit on our mental health?
- 1:17:48Because I already know that I am dreading driving to Ohio this
- 1:17:52week because I know that my my trip is increased by about
- 1:17:57$400.00. Yeah.
- 1:17:58Because of these fucking gas prices.
- 1:18:00Were you doing Ohio again, Sonic Temple?
- 1:18:03That's right. Yeah.
- 1:18:04That's why I came here today. Yeah.
- 1:18:06That's right, I forgot. But so there's that, and then
- 1:18:09I'm kind of trying to save money for my England trip, right?
- 1:18:13And those plane tickets are going to be expensive.
- 1:18:15Oh, so I've already locked those in.
- 1:18:17Yeah. Now the problem is a lot of
- 1:18:20European summer flights are getting cancelled because of jet
- 1:18:24fuel shortage because. And air flights and air company
- 1:18:27places shut it down. Yeah, so like.
- 1:18:30Spirit closed, and Spirit was the one that kept all the other
- 1:18:33prices in check because Spirit kept their prices lower.
- 1:18:35Yeah. So I'm I'm, I'm scared.
- 1:18:38I'm not gonna lie and and I hate.
- 1:18:39That, and we have another possible pandemic around the
- 1:18:41corner. And a freaking.
- 1:18:42Antivirus. We have a fucking new thing
- 1:18:44coming, so that's good. It's looking exciting.
- 1:18:46Yeah, I'm I'm not excited about it.
- 1:18:49I usually I can keep politics and.
- 1:18:53And how about how about all these, all these concerts
- 1:18:55getting shut down for the summer?
- 1:18:56They're all, all these people Post Malone cancel this whole
- 1:18:59summer tour the Pussycat Doll. I mean, who cares?
- 1:19:02But like they like like 9 or like 6 major acts said because
- 1:19:07they're, it's called the blue dot fever.
- 1:19:08They're seeing that their ticket sales aren't being sold because
- 1:19:12people can't afford to go see tickets are paid the ticket
- 1:19:14price that they're trying to charge and they're not.
- 1:19:17Coming down to Ticketmaster. You know how like when you go
- 1:19:20buy tickets and like the blue dots are the available ones.
- 1:19:23So they're not selling tickets in all these cities and they're
- 1:19:26not making the quota what they would want to make as an artist.
- 1:19:29So they're saying, well, it's not worth the money.
- 1:19:30We're not going. I mean, you factor in even gas
- 1:19:33prices to that, like who can afford to drive?
- 1:19:35It takes me two hours to get it to any venue.
- 1:19:37Yeah, that's a four hour round trip.
- 1:19:41That's a full tank of gas. It was it was 80 bucks fill my
- 1:19:45tank the other day. Yeah, it's a, it's a, it's a /
- 1:19:48100 for me now. Dude, it was 80 bucks to fill my
- 1:19:50tank, then to take the girls and myself and Lily to eat was
- 1:19:54another $80 tab. Then the movie and the popcorn
- 1:19:57and the drinks. It was.
- 1:20:00It was a day. Taking a family to the movies is
- 1:20:02a hit, yeah. It's hard, hard to do, hard to
- 1:20:05do. So yeah, I'm the the I am afraid
- 1:20:08of what life is about to look like, not only because of a
- 1:20:13possible pandemic making us not leave our homes, but financially
- 1:20:17not being able to leave our homes.
- 1:20:19Yeah, well, that's why I paid for all this equipment to
- 1:20:21podcast. So we can still do this and have
- 1:20:24fun. We can.
- 1:20:25We can sit. You're an affordable trip for
- 1:20:27me. We can sit here and watch a
- 1:20:28movie. You got a comfy ass chair,
- 1:20:30right? Here, oh, I want to get like one
- 1:20:31of those TikTok couches, the boneless couches, oh.
- 1:20:34Man, I'll never get out. And I just want to put one of
- 1:20:36these in here and I want to like arrange a little more and put
- 1:20:39one of the couch and then just kind of like have like movies.
- 1:20:42I need some bones. Strong bones.
- 1:20:46Yeah, man, you give me a boneless couch, I'm sticking to
- 1:20:48the floor. We'll test it out TikTok.
- 1:20:52There's your challenge. Send me a boneless couch and
- 1:20:54we'll give it the Kilowatt test. Make sure, Speaking of Kilowatt,
- 1:20:57make sure you go support him over all the high tension
- 1:20:59wrestling network on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram and go
- 1:21:03check out his new podcast Kilowatt and friends.
- 1:21:05My first episode was a smash hit that spawned another episode
- 1:21:09because I especially, I guess, said bad things about people,
- 1:21:12but all I was doing was telling our story.
- 1:21:14Telling the story, man. I don't even care if that person
- 1:21:17exists. Like, I don't even like it was
- 1:21:19just his presence was part of our story and I talked about it.
- 1:21:23Nothing wrong with that I. Don't care, do we?
- 1:21:25Gotta do. June 6.
- 1:21:27By the way, that is that when it drops.
- 1:21:30No, I'm having a Jeez, that's a that's a hefty weight.
- 1:21:33No, that'll drop this Tuesday, which is probably going to be
- 1:21:36before after this. After this will probably drop
- 1:21:38Wednesday. I think what I'm going to do is
- 1:21:39once my 5 questions that I have already scheduled are done, 5
- 1:21:43questions is going to move to Mondays.
- 1:21:46The podcast will probably move to Fridays and then I have like
- 1:21:49a live stream on a Wednesday. I'm going to, I'm going to do
- 1:21:51less, Less is. And then the vlog may drop every
- 1:21:55now, like once a month, I'm dropping a vlog on the beginning
- 1:21:57of the month of the last month. That's what I'm doing, yeah.
- 1:22:00All right, so June 6, I'm going to go further into the red on
- 1:22:04debt by collaborating with X Brand Wrestling to put on a
- 1:22:11deathmatch show they started. Following me.
- 1:22:14Well, yeah, well. They started following me and
- 1:22:16then a bunch of their a bunch of a few of their people started
- 1:22:19following me too. They're looking out at me.
- 1:22:21They're they're watching my stuff X brand.
- 1:22:24I'm I'm entertaining. Give me a microphone.
- 1:22:26I will. Yeah.
- 1:22:27Commentary. I'll bring commentary.
- 1:22:29Yeah, I know. I'm trying to put it together
- 1:22:31some some death matches. I got a couple people in mind,
- 1:22:35maybe one or two that'll surprise you.
- 1:22:37You know, one, actually, I don't know if I can say this, I'll say
- 1:22:41it off camera, but someone was approached by X brand to do a
- 1:22:44deathmatch and they're super excited, but it's in a show
- 1:22:46that's I don't have the flight to pay to go out there, but I
- 1:22:50want to see this deathmatch. Was it the Vegas show?
- 1:22:52No, it's an upcoming show. Oh, in Texas, they reached out
- 1:22:56to someone who I'm very close with to do a match, and it's
- 1:22:59their first death match and they're stoked for it.
- 1:23:02Really. Someone who's really exciting.
- 1:23:07Yeah. I'll tell you about the camera.
- 1:23:09We'll get out of here. We'll see you guys next time.
- 1:23:10We'll see you next Wednesday for the next episode, Episode 4
- 1:23:14Things I Wish I Knew in My 20s. I hope you guys are appreciating
- 1:23:17this and let Kilowatt know if he did a good job.
- 1:23:19I know he did 'cause I had fun doing it.
- 1:23:20And go support his podcast. Go listen to our first episode
- 1:23:23over on High Tension and skip. Go watch, Really, Mike, Go watch
- 1:23:26the third one, Skip the 4th one. It's probably not going to be
- 1:23:30that good. And then.
- 1:23:32That's the that's Reese. You mean the fifth one?
- 1:23:34Oh, the fifth. Yeah, Reese is cool.
- 1:23:36I no, that's right. I have I with my new job, I have
- 1:23:39less travel time to watch stuff, so I haven't gotten back.
- 1:23:42I want to watch the Desiree 1. I actually you should.
- 1:23:45I want to sit with her one day and talk to her.
- 1:23:47Yeah, you should. So the problem is the episode 3
- 1:23:51and 4 Desiree and Reese audio issues.
- 1:23:54I had my mics on mute so whoops. Yeah, you're learning.
- 1:23:58You're learning how to work the stuff.
- 1:24:00Yeah, I, I know now and I'm excited because I'm going to use
- 1:24:02them. I bought extra batteries and I'm
- 1:24:05going to be vlogging and interviewing as many people as I
- 1:24:08can while tailgating at the festival and during the
- 1:24:12festival. Sick love that, all right.
- 1:24:14Yeah, I'm just happy to be here. We're out of here.
- 1:24:16We'll see you guys next time. ABJ Kilowatt, we're out.
- 1:24:21Bye. That's awesome.
- 1:25:08The. and just randomly my friend's
- 1:25:39like Jackie None pizza now 30 minutes later we had like 5
- 1:25:45boxes of Domino's and cheese bread and all sorts of stuff
- 1:25:48man. It was just always love.
- 1:25:51She's always taking care of you and that's why we've been taking
- 1:25:53care of her for SO. When, when, When Jackie goes
- 1:26:05because I'm going. To be honest, I, I think, I
- 1:26:08think when Jackie, when, yeah, I don't want to sound dark when I
- 1:26:11say this, but when Jackie goes, we or your mom, like a fucking
- 1:26:16spa day or a fucking drink day or just take her out somewhere
- 1:26:20to do something because she's never had a moment to go enjoy
- 1:26:23herself or go do something. And I think we should take her
- 1:26:26out just to have whatever she wants to do that day.
- 1:26:28Like we take her to a concert. We take like because she's
- 1:26:30always had to take care of her mom.
- 1:26:32Yeah, it's, I think we should do that, her finding like her new
- 1:26:35identity outside of that, because as soon as the doctors
- 1:26:38told us this, I think. You're going to develop a
- 1:26:40different friendship with your mom.
- 1:26:42I think so, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:26:44We're definitely different people.
- 1:26:45But I still. I love her.
- 1:26:47Yeah. And this is Mother's Day.
- 1:26:48How about? That this is mother's.
- 1:26:49Day, you know, I do, I, I got a lot of love for, you know,
- 1:26:51anything that I had issues with her from our childhood, like I,
- 1:26:55I forgiven her for and interestingly enough, like the
- 1:27:00sacrifices that she's made alongside me to take care of my
- 1:27:04grandmother, who's like 100% I wouldn't have been able to do
- 1:27:08any of this by any of the equipment or pursue any of the
- 1:27:13wrestling without Jackie and Rhonda's assistance.
- 1:27:16And she, she would come to support you even though she knew
- 1:27:20coming there was going to be a fucking headache because she had
- 1:27:23to babysit her mom. Yeah, but she she did that so
- 1:27:26she could watch you grow. Like that's that's a dope mom.
- 1:27:29Yeah, yeah, the fucking she could easily set a home where
- 1:27:32we've been more easy and comfortable for her and and her.
- 1:27:34But there's a part of her that went because she wanted to go
- 1:27:37see you and do your thing. Big 10, Yeah.
- 1:27:39Yeah, She got the little fun rewards with Camp Leifrog, and I
- 1:27:43remember we're trying to incorporate Jackie into that
- 1:27:45battle royal, but she just, she wasn't going to take the
- 1:27:49direction to stay in it. Yeah, it would have been
- 1:27:51fantastic. Yeah, well, we the savage Granny
- 1:27:54T-shirts will always live on. Those are great.
- 1:27:56Yeah, I I still have mine somewhere.
- 1:27:58I have to find it. We'll have to bust those out,
- 1:28:01yeah. And then I have my photo with my
- 1:28:03Jackie photo. All right, that's so we're going
- 1:28:06to do just essentially the episode's going to be why if we
- 1:28:08refuse to be fake for success. And I'm going to have my talking
- 1:28:10points and then I'll just kind of we'll just bullshit as we go
- 1:28:13and just be be natural, be fun. Let's do it.
- 1:28:16All right. Can you do a huge favor?
- 1:28:22No. Please can you, can you, I'm
- 1:28:27already recording. Can you bring up that means not
- 1:28:30there to be two 2 bottles of water, the one for me, one for
- 1:28:34him while we record and I have that you laying down.
- 1:28:37Could you bring that up too? And he wants a piece of your
- 1:28:41nutty buddy. Why are you giving me Jesus?
- 1:28:43You don't want a baby cheeses. No, I don't want to.
- 1:28:45I thought you were reaching for a nutty buddy.
- 1:28:46What the hell did you find? Out these are randomly.
- 1:28:48I have like 5 of these in my car and I remembered when you wore
- 1:28:51the Jesus outfit. Oh yeah, so there's nothing
- 1:28:53after bottles of. Water.
- 1:28:54I was carrying the baby. I actually.
- 1:28:56What's that? So I heard nothing after the 2
- 1:28:59bottles of water. I was just shocked to buy a baby
- 1:29:01Jesus that's down there. You can read that out.
- 1:29:03Too. Appreciate you.
- 1:29:06No, the one of my last job, they gave me one of these because I
- 1:29:09know I'm the same guy. That's why I have I have one.
- 1:29:12So I think I left it in my locker at that last job.
- 1:29:15So now I have another little Jesus.
- 1:29:17I honestly as AI like the idea of Jesus.
- 1:29:20I think Jesus is a good dude. I think I'm a fan of the
- 1:29:23character. You don't have to believe in the
- 1:29:25Bible or believe in mainstream religion to enhance your life by
- 1:29:31the teachings of Jesus. Yeah, and also like all his
- 1:29:33teachings play into the spiritual mindset as well.
- 1:29:36Yeah, I think Jesus was more of a month than he was a Christian
- 1:29:39for sure. Yeah, well, he studied a bunch
- 1:29:41of different religions. He's a smart guy.
- 1:29:43Yeah, very smart guy, Allegedly. As assuming he's real, yeah.
- 1:29:47All right, 32. That's all going to the end 321.
