- 0:05Speaker 1: Probably thinks more in terms of the Kingdom of Heaven
- 0:07Speaker 1: as something out there that we go to, rather than
- 0:11Speaker 1: how the New Testament actually brings us that truth and doctrine.
- 0:14Speaker 1: The good news of the Kingdom of God is that
- 0:17Speaker 1: Heaven has broken into Earth's story. He is reconciling all
- 0:21Speaker 1: things to himself, and he has done that by bringing
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God here. We tend to think about escape.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We need to get out of the sin cursed, fallen
- 0:30Speaker 1: world so that Jesus can bring us to that better
- 0:32Speaker 1: spiritual existence out there. And that is the farthest thing
- 0:36Speaker 1: from the teaching of the New Testament itself. It was
- 0:38Speaker 1: good news that the Messiah had arrived to bring the
- 0:42Speaker 1: rule of God into history, because there were promises about
- 0:45Speaker 1: the rule of God through Messiah that meant the world
- 0:48Speaker 1: would be saved and healed. There would be peace, there
- 0:52Speaker 1: would be salvations, The families of the earth were returned
- 0:54Speaker 1: to worship Yahweh nations were going to come to God.
- 0:57Speaker 1: This Messiah would bring justice and righteousness and the law
- 1:01Speaker 1: of God to the world.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Have you ever wondered what exactly is the Kingdom of God?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Most think of kingdoms as physical empires, with borders and armies.
- 1:09Speaker 2: But if the Most High God created everything, wouldn't that
- 1:12Speaker 2: make the entire earth his kingdom Already? The answer lies
- 1:15Speaker 2: hidden in plain sight within the Bible. In Luke's Gospel,
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeshua made a startling declaration. The Kingdom of God does
- 1:22Speaker 2: not come with observable signs. People won't say, look here
- 1:25Speaker 2: it is or there it is because the Kingdom of
- 1:27Speaker 2: God is among you. Some translations say within you. And
- 1:30Speaker 2: this distinction changes everything. Think about it. Yeshua walked among
- 1:34Speaker 2: his disciples as the living embodiment of God's kingdom. But
- 1:37Speaker 2: after his ascension, where do we look to find it?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Paul provides the key in Romans. The Kingdom of God
- 1:41Speaker 2: is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and joy in the Holy Spirit. Notice these are all
- 1:47Speaker 2: internal experiences, conditions of the heart and soul that transform
- 1:51Speaker 2: how we see and interact with the world. Remarkably, when
- 1:54Speaker 2: someone truly encounters the Holy Spirit, these very qualities become
- 1:58Speaker 2: evident in their life. It's the unmistakable signature that God's
- 2:02Speaker 2: Kingdom is operating within them. Are you living in the
- 2:04Speaker 2: Kingdom of God? Stay sober, stay alert?
- 2:07Speaker 3: A kingdom is a king's dominion, the place where a
- 2:10Speaker 3: king's will is carried out. On one hand, we see
- 2:13Speaker 3: that the Kingdom of God is not of this world.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Jesus answered, my Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. On
- 2:19Speaker 3: the other hand, we recognize that we are to bring
- 2:21Speaker 3: the Kingdom of God to this earth. Your Kingdom come,
- 2:24Speaker 3: Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 2:26Speaker 3: The Kingdom of God is both otherworldly and something that
- 2:30Speaker 3: should be established here on earth. Do we have a
- 2:32Speaker 3: contradiction here? By no means both realities of the Kingdom
- 2:36Speaker 3: can be true at the same time. The Kingdom of
- 2:38Speaker 3: God is both then and there and here and now.
- 2:41Speaker 3: In fact, the Kingdom of God is within you. Because
- 2:44Speaker 3: the Kingdom of God is then and there, we don't
- 2:47Speaker 3: need to worry. We know our futures are secure. Because
- 2:50Speaker 3: the Kingdom of God is here and now, we don't
- 2:52Speaker 3: need to wait.
- 2:54Speaker 1: We know our authority works here too.
- 2:56Speaker 3: The Kingdom of God isn't supposed to stay anywhere, It's
- 2:59Speaker 3: supposed to go everywhere.
- 3:01Speaker 4: When Jesus came and began to minister this was his message.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Repent or literally, rethink your life, because the Kingdom of
- 3:09Speaker 4: God is at hand. In fact, it's interesting when Jesus
- 3:13Speaker 4: has finished his three and a half years of ministry,
- 3:16Speaker 4: he's gone to the cross, he's risen from the dead,
- 3:18Speaker 4: he's spending time with the disciples. The Bible says he
- 3:20Speaker 4: spends forty days with them and he talks to them
- 3:23Speaker 4: of things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Now here's
- 3:27Speaker 4: what most Christians do today. Most Christians are focused on
- 3:31Speaker 4: the Kingdom of Heaven. Now, the Kingdom of Heaven basically
- 3:35Speaker 4: is this. It's you're going to go and you're going
- 3:37Speaker 4: to spend eternity with God. And we are focused on
- 3:41Speaker 4: where we're going to go after we die, after Jesus
- 3:46Speaker 4: comes back after the thousand year reign in the eternal kingdom.
- 3:49Speaker 4: That's where we're focused. The Kingdom of Heaven. But the
- 3:52Speaker 4: Kingdom of God is a system. But most people think, well,
- 3:55Speaker 4: it's heaven. No, the Kingdom of God is a system.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Jesus said to pray in the Lord's prayer, he said,
- 4:02Speaker 4: pray your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth
- 4:06Speaker 4: as it is in heaven. That is the best description
- 4:09Speaker 4: of the Kingdom of God. The will of God being
- 4:11Speaker 4: done today in your life, in my life, in the
- 4:14Speaker 4: earth just like it is in heaven. That's God's will
- 4:17Speaker 4: for us today. And instead of focusing on eternity the
- 4:21Speaker 4: kingdom of Heaven, we need to focus on God's will
- 4:25Speaker 4: being done today in our hearts, in our lives, in
- 4:29Speaker 4: this earth, just like it is in heaven.
- 4:31Speaker 5: When BoNT that which cannot be shaken and which will
- 4:35Speaker 5: remain is the Kingdom. Now, what is the kingdom? Because
- 4:37Speaker 5: I want to preach on the church today, but I
- 4:39Speaker 5: want to preach on the Church in the light of
- 4:42Speaker 5: the Kingdom. What is the Kingdom of God? It's one
- 4:44Speaker 5: of those phrases that we band around, Lord, let your
- 4:46Speaker 5: Kingdom come.
- 4:47Speaker 1: What is it?
- 4:48Speaker 5: Well, it's not a geographical place in the sense, but
- 4:51Speaker 5: it's where wherever the lordship of Jesus Christ is received
- 4:55Speaker 5: and embraced. There the Kingdom of God has come. Wherever
- 4:59Speaker 5: someone happily he bows in the and says Jesus's Lord.
- 5:02Speaker 5: There the Kingdom of God has come. Wherever the works
- 5:05Speaker 5: of darkness are destroyed in someone's life and they are
- 5:08Speaker 5: liberated by the Gospel, the Kingdom of God has come.
- 5:11Speaker 5: The Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of
- 5:13Speaker 5: the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 5:15Speaker 6: The Kingdom of God. The word kingdom is a compound word.
- 5:17Speaker 6: It means king's dominion. What does it mean king's dominion.
- 5:21Speaker 6: It's the realm over which the king rules. So the
- 5:24Speaker 6: king's dominion. The Kingdom of God comes into my life
- 5:28Speaker 6: when I allow my life to be the realm over
- 5:31Speaker 6: which the king reigns. So I yield my life to
- 5:35Speaker 6: the God as the sovereign king of my life. Then
- 5:38Speaker 6: what do I do? Then He makes me the king
- 5:41Speaker 6: of an assignment.
- 5:46Speaker 7: The Kingdom of God. The message of Jesus was the
- 5:48Speaker 7: message of the Kingdom of God. Jesus was born a king.
- 5:52Speaker 7: In fact, Herod was threatened by Jesus because Jesus was
- 5:56Speaker 7: a king. Jesus's message was about the kingdom. In fact,
- 5:59Speaker 7: there was way more references about the kingdom than even
- 6:01Speaker 7: the message of salvation. And Jesus' portrayal of salvation is
- 6:05Speaker 7: it's an entrance of the kingdom. The miracles were invasion
- 6:09Speaker 7: of that kingdom. Jesus also died, and there was an
- 6:12Speaker 7: inscription over him that he was the king of the Jews.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Jesus taught about the kingdom after his resurrection, and Jesus
- 6:19Speaker 7: is coming back as a king so the message of
- 6:22Speaker 7: Christianity is about the Kingdom. In fact, the gospel. The
- 6:25Speaker 7: word gospel means good news. The gospel is in the message.
- 6:28Speaker 7: It's a description of the message.
- 6:30Speaker 5: And what is that message?
- 6:31Speaker 7: The Kingdom of God. That there is a kingdom that
- 6:34Speaker 7: has a king, and this king provides us a new life,
- 6:37Speaker 7: and through salvation we entered into his kingdom. It's a
- 6:39Speaker 7: spiritual kingdom because he rules over our lives and over
- 6:43Speaker 7: our hearts. The Kingdom of God.
- 6:44Speaker 8: In the parable of the sower, you see the breadth
- 6:48Speaker 8: of the kingdom. The field is the world. In the
- 6:50Speaker 8: parable of the Terrors, you see the length of the
- 6:56Speaker 8: kingdom grows until the final harvest. The parable of the
- 7:00Speaker 8: mustard seed, you see the height of the kingdom. It's
- 7:04Speaker 8: like a tree. And in the parable of the eleven
- 7:07Speaker 8: you see the depth of the kingdom. It penetrates everything.
- 7:11Speaker 8: There's divine genius in these stories that is completely oblivious
- 7:17Speaker 8: to the unconverted mind and even to many Christians.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Tell it.
- 7:23Speaker 9: Jesus constantly spoke about the Kingdom of God. But what
- 7:27Speaker 9: is it and where is it? Many think it's a
- 7:29Speaker 9: physical place, a kingdom with walls and a throne, But
- 7:33Speaker 9: Jesus said in Luke seventeen twenty one, the Kingdom of
- 7:36Speaker 9: God is within you. It's not about geography. It's about transformation,
- 7:41Speaker 9: a changed heart, a renewed mind, and a life that
- 7:45Speaker 9: reflects God's will. So the question isn't where is the
- 7:49Speaker 9: Kingdom of God? But is it growing in you?
- 7:52Speaker 10: Talks about in the Bible the Kingdom of Heaven, which
- 7:54Speaker 10: is the same as the Kingdom of God, and it
- 7:56Speaker 10: tells us in one place that it is the kingdom
- 7:58Speaker 10: of God's dear son, who is the Jesus, which tells
- 8:00Speaker 10: us that it's the Kingdom of God Kingdom of Heaven,
- 8:02Speaker 10: but it's still the Kingdom of Jesus. Is basically all
- 8:04Speaker 10: God's way of doing things. But you got to receive God.
- 8:07Speaker 10: You have to make the decision from your soul to
- 8:11Speaker 10: choose to have a relationship with God. And you can
- 8:13Speaker 10: also choose to refuse. But what God did was he
- 8:16Speaker 10: made himself a man. Fan talks about in the Bible
- 8:18Speaker 10: the kingdom the screen.
- 8:21Speaker 1: How do people seek the kingdom?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Exactly what I said.
- 8:24Speaker 11: Number one, They got to get to the king.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Because the center of a kingdom is a person, not
- 8:33Speaker 6: an organization.
- 8:34Speaker 9: Hear that this is the king.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Here, a king is.
- 8:38Speaker 2: The source of a kingdom.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It comes out of.
- 8:40Speaker 6: His very own birthright eye.
- 8:43Speaker 11: So you can first seek the King.
- 8:44Speaker 10: That's why Christ says, if you come.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Unto me, then you'll know the Kingdom of God.
- 8:50Speaker 10: One time he told the disciples, he says, the Kingdom
- 8:52Speaker 10: of God is with you.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I mean he was with them, he said, but it
- 8:55Speaker 6: shall be in you later.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Why I'm gonna take the spirit of the governor of
- 8:59Speaker 1: the King, put.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Him in you later.
- 9:03Speaker 11: On the day of panicost hen't breathe on them.
- 9:07Speaker 4: They literally receive the kingdom.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Because the kingdom is a person first, then it has
- 9:13Speaker 1: lived out in.
- 9:13Speaker 11: Administration on a personal level. The Kingdom of God represents
- 9:17Speaker 11: God's spiritual rule in the hearts of those who willingly
- 9:20Speaker 11: submit to him. Jesus emphasized the necessity of being born
- 9:24Speaker 11: again through repentance and faith to enter this kingdom. It
- 9:28Speaker 11: is a realm where God's authority is recognized and individuals
- 9:32Speaker 11: become part of this kingdom through their relationship with Christ. Furthermore,
- 9:36Speaker 11: there is a future dimension to the Kingdom of God,
- 9:39Speaker 11: where Christ will establish his physical reign on Earth during
- 9:42Speaker 11: the millennium. This future manifestation is often referred to as
- 9:46Speaker 11: the Kingdom of Glory.
