Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, Welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy
0:14
Speaker 1: Football Show. It's media man named g Marcus Grant, joined
0:16
Speaker 1: by Michael Florio and mcwan Jones. It is week eleven.
0:20
Speaker 1: We got the concluded, like four more weeks I think
0:23
Speaker 1: of the fantasy regular season. It's getting down to it, man. Also,
0:29
Speaker 1: your boy's got a big one this weekend.
0:31
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Ram Seahawks a little reunion with my ex guy,
0:36
Speaker 2: Cooper Cup. But it's all welcome home, baby. You were
0:39
Speaker 2: back in town. And look, man, they have a little
0:41
Speaker 2: memorial set up for him and listen. But we want
0:44
Speaker 2: to show but that's what he said. He said, I'm
0:47
Speaker 2: not dead, but he we're gonna show appreciation a little
0:50
Speaker 2: tribute video. So I'm happy to see him back in town.
0:52
Speaker 2: But him on the other side, we know we got
0:54
Speaker 2: to handle business.
0:55
Speaker 1: This is growth, This is this is the nicest thing
0:58
Speaker 1: you've said about Cooper Cup since he left. But for
1:01
Speaker 1: fantasy he is dust.
1:02
Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, get him off of your rosters.
1:05
Speaker 1: This week is not a star.
1:06
Speaker 3: We can spoiler.
1:07
Speaker 1: Alert and we're back. All right, we are back. We
1:12
Speaker 1: got a lot to talk about on this show. Of course,
1:14
Speaker 1: we're gonna do mostly starts, and since also're gonna do
1:17
Speaker 1: another aj Brown vibes check because that has kind of
1:19
Speaker 1: been the story of the week across fantasy football. Also
1:22
Speaker 1: maybe a little bit of a surprise defense to stream.
1:25
Speaker 1: Maybe we'll get into that a little bit later on
1:28
Speaker 1: in the show, but let us start with these starts
1:31
Speaker 1: and sins. Of course, Michael left Florio rights them every week.
1:33
Speaker 1: You can check them out online at NFL dot com
1:36
Speaker 1: slash start sit. I imagine why now you're in a rhythm.
1:39
Speaker 1: You got this thing down to this.
1:41
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, this point of the year, it's just like
1:43
Speaker 4: it's all systems go. You get into groove and the
1:47
Speaker 4: starts at quarterback. Look, Joe Flacco, if you covered his name,
1:50
Speaker 4: you think he's Joe Burrow right now. Justin Herbert, I
1:54
Speaker 4: know the O line is banged up, but this is
1:55
Speaker 4: a very favorable matchup and the Jacks get sacks at
1:58
Speaker 4: the second lowest rate. Jordan Love, I know a lot
2:01
Speaker 4: of people are panicking on him. He hasn't really lived
2:03
Speaker 4: up to expectations. The Giants are the cure all though,
2:06
Speaker 4: And then Jacoby said, I'm sorry, Marcus, the forty nine
2:09
Speaker 4: ers get no pressure and quarterbacks go off against them
2:12
Speaker 4: weekly by Sis Jared Gofflo. Not a musset, but I
2:16
Speaker 4: would sit in for the guys on the start column
2:18
Speaker 4: this week because the Eagles have allowed these second fewest
2:21
Speaker 4: touchdowns to quarterbacks this season.
2:23
Speaker 3: Bo Nicks. I'm sorry, LQ, but he's just not playing
2:27
Speaker 3: great right now.
2:27
Speaker 4: And the Chiefs are such a tough matchup bottom five
2:29
Speaker 4: and yards and touchdowns allowed. Whoever the forty nine ers
2:33
Speaker 4: quarterback is.
2:33
Speaker 1: Because it could be it's gonna be Brock perty.
2:36
Speaker 4: Fifth week in a row, But whoever it is, I
2:39
Speaker 4: think you could get away from this week.
2:41
Speaker 3: The Cardinals are a little bit of a tougher matchup
2:43
Speaker 3: than you may think.
2:44
Speaker 4: And then just for the bit, Trevor mid Lawrence, because yeah,
2:47
Speaker 4: I'm not trusting.
2:48
Speaker 3: Him, just for the just needed a name this week?
2:53
Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, for the bit, all right?
2:57
Speaker 1: Joe Flacco? I mean, have we reached the point where
3:00
Speaker 1: Joe Flacco is just a set it and forget it
3:02
Speaker 1: quarterback for fantasy?
3:04
Speaker 2: Absolutely? I actually is a little upset that we have
3:07
Speaker 2: the other Joe. I call him the other Joe because
3:09
Speaker 2: he's been away for some time. But Joe Flacco since
3:11
Speaker 2: week six man has been averaging twenty four Fantasy points
3:14
Speaker 2: per game. This is old man Joe going out there,
3:17
Speaker 2: still slinging in, elevating t Higgins, elevating Jamar Chase. So
3:20
Speaker 2: I'm a little upset as a fantasy manager with pretty
3:23
Speaker 2: Flacco on my rosters ran me to the playoffs with that.
3:26
Speaker 2: The other Joe is returning back soon. But man, it's
3:30
Speaker 2: been a great ride having Joe Flacco's my QB one
3:32
Speaker 2: each week.
3:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's been amazing. I mean it's funny too,
3:35
Speaker 1: because when he went to Cincinnati, I think we were
3:37
Speaker 1: all kind of like, all right, well, maybe this helps Jamar,
3:39
Speaker 1: maybe it helps te Higgins, but we're not starting Joe.
3:41
Speaker 1: Now we're starting Joe Flacco. Were oh yeah, in one league.
3:45
Speaker 3: I'm in co manage.
3:46
Speaker 4: My partner was like, should we drop Kyler Murray for
3:48
Speaker 4: Joe Flacco after like his first start. I was like, no,
3:51
Speaker 4: and now we hate ourselves.
3:52
Speaker 1: For that doing it. On the other side, l Q,
3:58
Speaker 1: you want to pour one out from Bote at least
4:00
Speaker 1: for this week. I'm still a believer.
4:03
Speaker 2: I'm gonna make that very clear, but this week I'm
4:05
Speaker 2: getting away from it. Man. I think this is where
4:07
Speaker 2: we get bow Knicks when he gets real reckless throwing
4:09
Speaker 2: the ball, because like we know that bow Knicks and
4:11
Speaker 2: Sean Payne they love throwing the ball and listen, man,
4:14
Speaker 2: thirty five pass attempts per game is where bo Nix
4:16
Speaker 2: is sitting this season, going against the Chiefs defense, who
4:19
Speaker 2: are allowing the fourth lowest pass attempts per game. I
4:22
Speaker 2: think this is where Sean Payton. He goes against anything
4:25
Speaker 2: that should be adjusted during end game, like giving r J.
4:28
Speaker 2: Harvey max touches and we shouldn't have to wait for
4:31
Speaker 2: injury to get that.
4:31
Speaker 3: But that is an RJ.
4:32
Speaker 1: Harvey crash out.
4:33
Speaker 2: I will say for later, but I will say this,
4:36
Speaker 2: this is where the turnovers start to happen. If you
4:38
Speaker 2: look at the game for bow Knicks has more than
4:40
Speaker 2: thirty five pass attempts per game, this is where the
4:43
Speaker 2: turnovers are starting to create. So therefore those are negative
4:45
Speaker 2: points in Fantasy nine turnovers in the games that he
4:48
Speaker 2: has thirty five pass attempts per game. So I know
4:50
Speaker 2: they're gonna go against the grand and toss that rock
4:53
Speaker 2: all over the place, which could lead to mistakes.
4:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I look, I think they may be
4:59
Speaker 1: He'll be in ketchup because their defense is good enough
5:01
Speaker 1: to kind of keep it close. But I don't trust
5:03
Speaker 1: him this week against the Chiefs defense.
5:05
Speaker 4: On top of it all, the Chiefs have had two
5:07
Speaker 4: weeks to prepare for this game.
5:09
Speaker 1: That scares me. Andy Reid after a bye is damn
5:13
Speaker 1: hard to beat. So yeah, that does not seem all
5:15
Speaker 1: that great for bow Knicks this week. Let's move over
5:18
Speaker 1: to the running backs, which this felt like a really
5:21
Speaker 1: good week for running backs. There are a lot of
5:23
Speaker 1: guys that I really love this week. So who are
5:24
Speaker 1: your starts and sins?
5:26
Speaker 4: Chase Brown, I'm still getting questions about him, and I'm
5:28
Speaker 4: just like he is back to being the guy that
5:30
Speaker 4: we drafted early, at least with Joe Flacco. Jalen Warren
5:34
Speaker 4: continues to get more and more work here and it's
5:36
Speaker 4: a fantastic matchup against the Bengals. Not only did Woody
5:39
Speaker 4: Marx get a ton of volume last week and in
5:42
Speaker 4: the few games before that as well, he went off
5:45
Speaker 4: for twenty eight fantasy points against the Titans in Week four.
5:48
Speaker 4: Rashad White is in play as long as Bucky Irving
5:51
Speaker 4: doesn't suit up. If Bucky does suit up, then I
5:53
Speaker 4: think White becomes more of a flex option, but it
5:55
Speaker 4: is the Bills, which is a fantastic matchup for running backs.
5:59
Speaker 1: And then Aaron Jones.
6:01
Speaker 4: I think he's been taking over that backfield again, and
6:04
Speaker 4: it's like seven straight games with either one hundred yards
6:06
Speaker 4: or a touchdown against the Bears.
6:08
Speaker 3: And then this sits JK. Dobbins.
6:12
Speaker 4: If he's active, I want no part of that, but
6:14
Speaker 4: it sounds like he might not be either Seahawks running back.
6:18
Speaker 4: I know you spoke about this on Fantasy Live today, Marcus,
6:20
Speaker 4: but Charba day Walker, they're just eating too much off
6:23
Speaker 4: of each other's plate. And the Rams are such a
6:25
Speaker 4: tough matchup. Tony Pollard, he's losing more and more work
6:28
Speaker 4: to Tajy Spears, and the Texans are a very tough matchup.
6:31
Speaker 4: Tyrone Tracy is a new coach there, which back is
6:34
Speaker 4: going to be more utilized since Skataboo's gotten hurt. We've
6:37
Speaker 4: seen one Tracy week, one Singletary week. But now it's
6:40
Speaker 4: the Packers. I don't think this is a week for
6:42
Speaker 4: either of them. And then Jordan Mason seven opportunities per game.
6:46
Speaker 4: Since Aaron Jones has returned in those three games, he
6:48
Speaker 4: has ten fantasy points combined in three games.
6:51
Speaker 3: You just cannot trust him.
6:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, we were hoping for things from Jordan Mason. I know, Lawan,
6:56
Speaker 1: you were big on Jordan Mason before the season started,
6:58
Speaker 1: and then Aaron Jones got hurt. You had one good
7:01
Speaker 1: game and that was sort of it there. But yeah,
7:05
Speaker 1: let's go on the positive side of things. Let's go
7:06
Speaker 1: to Woody Marks. Can we trust the Houston Texans to
7:10
Speaker 1: give us maximum mars or are we going to see
7:13
Speaker 1: Nick Chubb pop his head up there somewhere.
7:17
Speaker 2: I think we've been seeing a trend with Woody Marks
7:19
Speaker 2: getting more opportunities in the last four games, the Lemon
7:21
Speaker 2: Fantasy opportunities per game. This is where we can check
7:24
Speaker 2: the mark off that Viume is there. But what you
7:27
Speaker 2: see in this bro clip right here that is over
7:29
Speaker 2: my face right now, is that you're seeing him being
7:31
Speaker 2: utilized in the passing game. We want to see more
7:34
Speaker 2: of that. Nick Kayla to the offensive coordinator. He comes
7:36
Speaker 2: from the Rams tree, he comes from the Sean McVay tree.
7:39
Speaker 2: He should understand how to get the ball in your
7:42
Speaker 2: best player's hands. What he marks can be a lot
7:45
Speaker 2: more explosive than he can be. But a seven point
7:47
Speaker 2: six for senior yards per target is up there among
7:50
Speaker 2: a CMC up there among guys that like Jonathan Taylor
7:53
Speaker 2: that get involved in the passing game. We want to
7:55
Speaker 2: see more of that so we can raise him above
7:58
Speaker 2: the flex territory. Woody Marx has RB two territory written
8:01
Speaker 2: all over him. If they shift what they did last
8:04
Speaker 2: week where Nick Chubb saw a season low and snaps,
8:07
Speaker 2: So this is trending towards obviously what he marks taking
8:10
Speaker 2: over to his backfield. They need to lean into it
8:12
Speaker 2: this week, especially with a juicy matchup against the Titans defense.
8:15
Speaker 1: I mean, catching the football was one of the calling
8:18
Speaker 1: cards for what he marks coming out of college. He
8:20
Speaker 1: set the career record at Mississippi State for receptions by
8:23
Speaker 1: a running back, had a streak of fifty six games
8:25
Speaker 1: in his college career with a reception, So catching the
8:28
Speaker 1: football was always something he could do. Now he's getting
8:30
Speaker 1: a lot more opportunity to do that, partially by circumstance,
8:34
Speaker 1: but I was waiting for you know what, You've actually
8:37
Speaker 1: learned how to do it. That's like the best you've
8:38
Speaker 1: ever done it before, Like you're getting better. I you know,
8:40
Speaker 1: you just needed reps there you go. He just needed Okay,
8:42
Speaker 1: now stop. Now you're starting to mess it up, so
8:44
Speaker 1: just stop. It's like little yeah, exactly what are you doing?
8:47
Speaker 1: Man's over ahead on the other side, Tony Pollard, Look,
8:54
Speaker 1: I have been a TAIJ. Spears I would call him
8:57
Speaker 1: a stand but I have it a TAIJ. Spears proponent
9:00
Speaker 1: supporter for a while. At some point the Spears just
9:04
Speaker 1: have to take over that backfield in Tennessee.
9:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, Like looking at Tony Pollard, he is definitely near
9:10
Speaker 2: that drop zone. It has been underwhelming from him basically
9:13
Speaker 2: all season long, and now with Taj Spears coming in
9:16
Speaker 2: being the third down back, where you have Pollard only
9:18
Speaker 2: thirty eight percent of the snaps on third down. This
9:20
Speaker 2: is usually where folks are in PPR leagues like to
9:23
Speaker 2: have their running backs get involved in the passing game,
9:25
Speaker 2: but we have not seen much of that from Tony
9:27
Speaker 2: Pollard this season, where that's been Taj Spears's complete role.
9:30
Speaker 2: And honestly, looking at Tony Pollard man for the rest
9:33
Speaker 2: of the season, I don't think I could trust him
9:35
Speaker 2: in starting lineups being that we haven't seen this Titan's
9:37
Speaker 2: office produce anything positive in the back end or in
9:41
Speaker 2: the early season, So it looks like he's on a
9:43
Speaker 2: bad offense with a guy that is hungry, that came
9:46
Speaker 2: back from injury, that looks to be producing at a
9:48
Speaker 2: higher level than what we've seen. So I do think that,
9:51
Speaker 2: you know, Tony Pollard, he is droppable at this point
9:54
Speaker 2: because what have we seen to be trusting him entire
9:57
Speaker 2: season at this point.
9:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's rough, and I thought early in
10:01
Speaker 1: the season he actually had a couple of nice performances
10:03
Speaker 1: and he kind of seemed like maybe the one trustworthy
10:05
Speaker 1: thing in the Titans offense. At this point, I'm just
10:09
Speaker 1: you know, we'll try again in twenty twenty six with
10:11
Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans. Yah.
10:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's bad.
10:15
Speaker 1: It's blad, it's bad, it's bleak, it's all of that
10:18
Speaker 1: with the Titans down there in Tennessee. We'll have some
10:21
Speaker 1: more starts and since for you coming up a little
10:22
Speaker 1: bit later on in the show, but for now, we'll
10:25
Speaker 1: look at the Sunday night football game between the Lions
10:27
Speaker 1: and the Eagles and the first to score a touchdown
10:30
Speaker 1: odds Premier Gibbs at the top of the list, followed
10:32
Speaker 1: closely by Saquon Barkley. Very little surprise there Jalen Hurts, who,
10:37
Speaker 1: by the way, Jalen Hurts has not had a rushing
10:39
Speaker 1: touchdown since I believe Week four, I think it is
10:42
Speaker 1: it's been a while since he has found the end zone.
10:44
Speaker 1: So the tush push not exactly. They only use it.
10:46
Speaker 4: For first downs now, which is worst fantasy case scenario.
10:49
Speaker 1: That is actually the worst. Yeah, I'm on ros Saint
10:51
Speaker 1: Brown and A J. Brown have very actually not very similar,
10:56
Speaker 1: identical odds to score the first touchdown. About that in
11:00
Speaker 1: just a second. But Lauria, if you're picking here, you're
11:02
Speaker 1: taking one of these guys. You're going somewhere else for
11:04
Speaker 1: the first touchdown.
11:06
Speaker 3: My heart wants to go A J. Brown and hope
11:08
Speaker 3: that they give him a long one. But I'll go
11:10
Speaker 3: with Jamiir Gibbs here. I think. Look, he's Jamiir Gibbs.
11:15
Speaker 4: He can score from the goal on, he could score
11:17
Speaker 4: from eighty yards out, it doesn't really matter. And he's
11:19
Speaker 4: been getting more and more workload, even though last week wasn't.
11:22
Speaker 1: Ideal for him. Yeah, it was not ideal, but again,
11:24
Speaker 1: it's hard to count him out because of just the
11:26
Speaker 1: usage and the explosiveness and all of that. The Kwandy
11:29
Speaker 1: I think I asked Floryo this earlier in the week.
11:31
Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask you now, can we get an AJ
11:33
Speaker 1: Brown vibes check after him? Just flat out telling people,
11:36
Speaker 1: if you have me on fantasy, get rid of me.
11:41
Speaker 1: How we feeling about AJ Brown this week?
11:45
Speaker 2: Like you know the Ben Affleck meme where he's standing
11:47
Speaker 2: outside and he's smoking a cigarette like I'm exhausted, I'm tired.
11:50
Speaker 1: Man.
11:51
Speaker 2: It's probably one of the most frustrating things right now
11:53
Speaker 2: having AJ Brown on fantasy rosters. But I had this
11:56
Speaker 2: amazing conversation with Seth freaking Rollins this morning on Morning Football.
12:00
Speaker 2: You guys should probably check that out on the NFL
12:02
Speaker 2: Plus app after this show, by the way, But we
12:05
Speaker 2: were just talking about him displaying this frustration publicly and
12:08
Speaker 2: like crashing out. But usually we get somewhat of a
12:11
Speaker 2: follow up game where we get decent fantasy production, right
12:14
Speaker 2: like man six Week six and seven, that's where things
12:17
Speaker 2: were starting to build before the bye week, where we're
12:19
Speaker 2: getting some touchdowns from AJ Brown, some big fantasy performances.
12:23
Speaker 2: But man, they got the lines coming in town this week.
12:26
Speaker 2: This is an offense that is a top five offense
12:29
Speaker 2: in terms of scoring points margin. They're putting BTA to
12:32
Speaker 2: a lot of defenses. So you need to send that
12:35
Speaker 2: batsignal this week to AJ Brown so you guys can
12:38
Speaker 2: put up some touchdowns, put up some yards against the
12:41
Speaker 2: lines defense where I think AJ Brown can display that
12:44
Speaker 2: he is clearly the wide receiver one. I don't need
12:47
Speaker 2: this guy on streaming platforms crashing out saying get rid
12:50
Speaker 2: of me in fantasy. Hold on now, folks, now, listen.
12:52
Speaker 2: You don't need to say anything else. You got folks
12:54
Speaker 2: like me and the fantasy streets that are gonna do
12:56
Speaker 2: to barking for you for you to get the ball,
12:58
Speaker 2: because we are directly affected by this.
13:00
Speaker 1: So AJ Brown just stop. Just don't say nothing else. Okay,
13:03
Speaker 1: we get it. You're causing distraction to a winning team.
13:07
Speaker 2: That's just a lot of frustration that I have about
13:09
Speaker 2: this whole situation.
13:10
Speaker 1: I do love, by the way, the fact that Nick
13:12
Speaker 1: Siriani is treating AJ Brown the way I treat my
13:15
Speaker 1: kid when I take away the Nintendo switch. It's like, yeah,
13:17
Speaker 1: I hear you whining. It's just what it is, man.
13:20
Speaker 1: You just have to deal with it. Like that's pretty
13:22
Speaker 1: much what Nick Sirianni has done.
13:25
Speaker 2: We get why he's whining like the dudes on pace
13:28
Speaker 2: for a career low a career low eight hundred and
13:31
Speaker 2: sixty seven receiving yards. That's fifty one receiving yards per
13:34
Speaker 2: game on a seventeen game phase.
13:36
Speaker 4: I love AJ Brown crashing because it means one of
13:39
Speaker 4: two things. One's either gonna get a squeaky wheel game,
13:41
Speaker 4: or two it would probably be playing football somewhere else
13:44
Speaker 4: next year. And as a fan of a team that
13:46
Speaker 4: needs a wide receiver, I also love AJ Brown and
13:49
Speaker 4: I want to see him go somewhere where they actually
13:52
Speaker 4: value him and treat him as a wide receiver one.
13:54
Speaker 1: But also, the Eagles are seven to two and as
13:56
Speaker 1: of this moment, they are the one seed in the NFC,
13:58
Speaker 1: So I just don't think they're going to really entertained.
14:01
Speaker 4: It's crazy because like Saquon's not having a good year,
14:04
Speaker 4: like by his standard at least like it's wild.
14:07
Speaker 1: It's wild, and yet they're they're again, They've only have
14:09
Speaker 1: two losses this year. Go figure, when we come back,
14:13
Speaker 1: we will take a look at the Monday night football
14:15
Speaker 1: game and would you maybe stream one of these defenses? Well,
14:20
Speaker 1: ask that question, plus some more starts and sits, that's
14:22
Speaker 1: coming up on the NFL Fantasy Football Show. What should
14:28
Speaker 1: be a pretty great uniform matchup on Monday Night Football,
14:31
Speaker 1: even if the on field product maybe not the best.
14:33
Speaker 1: It's the Cowboys at the Raiders. And I'm gonna ask
14:36
Speaker 1: you a really weird question, Florio, would you stream the
14:39
Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys defense this week?
14:42
Speaker 4: If anyone heads over to NFL dot com, slash starts
14:45
Speaker 4: it and clicks on clicks on the defensive tag, they're there.
14:49
Speaker 3: I have them as a starting.
14:50
Speaker 4: Option this week because it's the Raiders, right like, they're
14:53
Speaker 4: in the top seven in sacks and giveaways rate per game.
14:57
Speaker 4: And then on top of that, we've last seen the Cowboys.
15:01
Speaker 4: They've added quite a bit of talent, so it might
15:04
Speaker 4: not be the same old Cowboys defense that we saw
15:07
Speaker 4: the first nine weeks of the season.
15:09
Speaker 1: But more than anything, it's it's Raiders.
15:11
Speaker 3: So that's why they're in play.
15:13
Speaker 1: That is why I had them listed as a sleeper
15:15
Speaker 1: defense this week, because Raiders. Because the way to get
15:19
Speaker 1: fantasy points from your defense is sacks and turnovers. The
15:22
Speaker 1: Raiders give up a lot of sacks. You know, Smith
15:24
Speaker 1: has thrown a lot of interceptions and even with a
15:27
Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago when they got run through by
15:29
Speaker 1: the Arizona Cardinals. They still had eleven Fantasy points in
15:33
Speaker 1: that game just because they were able to get some sacks.
15:35
Speaker 1: I think they got to take away or two. So
15:37
Speaker 1: even if they are giving up points, there's a way
15:39
Speaker 1: for them to actually have a pretty decent fantasy day.
15:42
Speaker 1: So yeah, as crazy as it sounds, I get it.
15:44
Speaker 1: We've been picking on the Cowboys defense all year long.
15:48
Speaker 1: This is this is this is that one episode of
15:50
Speaker 1: Tom and Jerry where Tom actually kind of wins in
15:52
Speaker 1: the end. I think that's sort of what this is.
15:54
Speaker 1: There's only like three of those episodes. There's a lot
15:56
Speaker 1: of them. There's not a lot of them. You kind of,
15:58
Speaker 1: you know, appreciate them when they come around. There. Time
16:01
Speaker 1: to get back to our starts, and since for Week
16:04
Speaker 1: eleven we turn our attention to the wide receivers and
16:07
Speaker 1: who do you like? Who do you not like?
16:08
Speaker 4: This week, Lad McConkie, he is back to being a
16:11
Speaker 4: wide receiver one for fantasy purposes. The Jags are tough
16:15
Speaker 4: against slot receivers, so I'm hoping they play him out
16:17
Speaker 4: wide a little bit. But either way, I think he's
16:20
Speaker 4: in play t Higgins eleven or more fantasy points in
16:23
Speaker 4: every game With Joe Flacco, He's averaging close to twenty
16:26
Speaker 4: per game.
16:27
Speaker 3: I know it just kind of took a little dig
16:28
Speaker 3: at him.
16:28
Speaker 4: But I do think DK is in play this week
16:31
Speaker 4: against the Bengals, who have allowed the most passing yards
16:35
Speaker 4: and touchdowns. Jalen Waddle, you gotta wake up early. They're
16:38
Speaker 4: in Madrid on NFL Network. But he has been fantastic
16:42
Speaker 4: fifteen fantasy points per game since Tyreek's injury, and the
16:44
Speaker 4: Commanders are a fantastic matchup. Christian Watson, This is a
16:48
Speaker 4: matchup for him to thrive in. In fact, my bold
16:51
Speaker 4: prediction this week was one hundred and fifty one or
16:53
Speaker 4: more yards because that would be a career high for Watson,
16:56
Speaker 4: and then the sis DJ Moore. You got to monitor
16:59
Speaker 4: his health as well, but either way, I'd plan on
17:01
Speaker 4: not being with him. It's just they're not using him
17:04
Speaker 4: in a way that is good for fantasy at all.
17:06
Speaker 4: Titoro McMillan was held in check the first time against
17:09
Speaker 4: the Falcons, and the Falcons are one of the toughest
17:11
Speaker 4: wide receiver matchups. Deebo Samuel Look, the Dolphins on paper
17:16
Speaker 4: might look like a defense you could seam against. But
17:17
Speaker 4: they've been one of the best against receivers this year.
17:20
Speaker 4: Corland Sutton has never toped one hundred yards in eleven
17:23
Speaker 4: career games against the Chiefs, who have been really stout
17:26
Speaker 4: against wide receivers. And then Wandell Robinson, the Packers' second
17:29
Speaker 4: fewest yards allowed to slot receivers. It's a different quarterback.
17:33
Speaker 4: If I'm playing any Giants receiver this week, I would
17:36
Speaker 4: actually take the shot on slay.
17:37
Speaker 1: And over Robinson. Hey man, you got Jamis Winston throwing
17:39
Speaker 1: yolo balls, so maybe that works out for Darius Slayton
17:42
Speaker 1: trying to get downfield a little bit. Well, Kwan, I
17:45
Speaker 1: know we all have a problem with Packers wide receivers
17:47
Speaker 1: and trying to peg one. But Christian Watson is this
17:52
Speaker 1: his time now?
17:54
Speaker 2: I actually love seeing Florio have him as a start
17:56
Speaker 2: this week because this is one of those lay up
17:58
Speaker 2: matches that you just have to take because you're seeing
18:00
Speaker 2: how they're utilizing. You're seeing in three games that he
18:03
Speaker 2: has just as many twenty plus completions as Romeo Dobbs
18:07
Speaker 2: as a Matthew Golden in three games, folks, So obviously
18:10
Speaker 2: this is a role that he is going against the
18:11
Speaker 2: Giants defense that they will have to utilize as the
18:14
Speaker 2: game plan. I mean looking at the Giants defense that
18:17
Speaker 2: allowing the six most completions of downfield passes to the
18:21
Speaker 2: wide receiver position this season. This is a layup matchup
18:24
Speaker 2: for Watson in a layup matchup for Jordan Love to
18:27
Speaker 2: get back on track to be fantasy startable.
18:29
Speaker 1: All right, So Christian Watson coming back into play here.
18:33
Speaker 1: It seems like, you know, I know it's one year,
18:35
Speaker 1: but Matthew Golden not working out right now for the Packers.
18:38
Speaker 1: We'll see what his future is right there. On the
18:41
Speaker 1: other side, you her Florio mentioned he would rather maybe
18:43
Speaker 1: take a swing on Darius Slayton than on Wandale Robinson
18:47
Speaker 1: is mostly he's cooked. But this is Jameis Winston. Maybe
18:50
Speaker 1: not gonna be good for Onondale.
18:53
Speaker 2: Nah Man, I'm pushing back on this one. Man. We
18:55
Speaker 2: saw Wandell Robson a DoD double miss. I am all
18:58
Speaker 2: in all Wando Robinson and as a strong confident flex
19:02
Speaker 2: play this week with Jameis Winston. Man, we're about to
19:05
Speaker 2: being W's this week because I love how we're seeing
19:08
Speaker 2: Wanda Robson being used deep downfield, and we know close
19:11
Speaker 2: to the line of scrimmage. She can also be used
19:13
Speaker 2: because there is yards have there to catch upside with him.
19:15
Speaker 2: So this is the only one that I'm gonna push
19:17
Speaker 2: back on you this week. Florio, Man, I love Wanda
19:20
Speaker 2: Robson too much. Man, shout out to the short.
19:22
Speaker 3: Kings, all right, I have no problem with it.
19:25
Speaker 4: I mean I would play your boy, Greg dortsch over Hey,
19:27
Speaker 4: Dorschland is open.
19:28
Speaker 2: For business, Ladies and gentlemen, you better get your ticket
19:31
Speaker 2: while you can. Let's go this week. Man, I'm hype
19:33
Speaker 2: for him.
19:34
Speaker 1: He gave, he gave doors some love of fantasy lives.
19:37
Speaker 2: I shouted you go, brother Dorland, It's open for business.
19:40
Speaker 2: To Roger good, We're no squeakiness. We got everything checked out.
19:43
Speaker 2: We're good to go.
19:45
Speaker 1: Everything's all set up. All right, let's get the tight
19:47
Speaker 1: ends as we get ready to close out the starts.
19:49
Speaker 1: And since here, who's up who's down? This week?
19:51
Speaker 3: Dalton Schultz has just been far too productive.
19:54
Speaker 4: I think the Titans look like a tough matchup on paper,
19:56
Speaker 4: but it doesn't really scare me.
19:58
Speaker 3: Kate at and the Bills are the tough this matchup.
20:00
Speaker 4: Four tight ends, but the volume that he has been getting,
20:03
Speaker 4: the safe floor he's been bringing, and the fact that
20:05
Speaker 4: that could be a high scoring game.
20:06
Speaker 1: I like him.
20:07
Speaker 4: And it's the same reason I like Dawson Knox. The
20:09
Speaker 4: Bills have been featuring tight ends because they are not
20:11
Speaker 4: getting consistent production out of their wideout. So with Kincaid out,
20:14
Speaker 4: I think knock steps up.
20:16
Speaker 3: Kyle Pitts. He's just the last like five weeks has.
20:19
Speaker 4: Been a start for me. The Panthers are a good
20:21
Speaker 4: matchup on paper, and he's been getting more and more volume.
20:24
Speaker 4: And then Noah offense this week going up against the Steelers,
20:28
Speaker 4: he's been getting more opportunity and he had a good
20:31
Speaker 4: game against him the first go around, and then the
20:33
Speaker 4: six David and Joku. I know he scored a touchdown,
20:36
Speaker 4: had double digit Fantasy points last week, but just two targets.
20:39
Speaker 4: DJ Howkinson is high in four games with JJ McCarthy
20:43
Speaker 4: is fifteen yards, it's bad. And then Evan Ingram, like
20:47
Speaker 4: all of the catch and run stuff, the joker role
20:50
Speaker 4: that we heard all summer, that's Troy Franklin's. Evan Ingram
20:52
Speaker 4: is just kind of like a third, fourth, fifth option
20:55
Speaker 4: depending on the week.
20:56
Speaker 1: For the Bronco joke has been on us if we
20:58
Speaker 1: bought into that shot there at this point, I know
21:02
Speaker 1: for you, Lakwan, you were off Kyle Pitts and you
21:04
Speaker 1: got on the bandwagon. Where are you as of this
21:07
Speaker 1: moment on Kyle Pits. The Kyle Pitch World Tour has
21:11
Speaker 1: been great. I love the ticket, I love the show
21:12
Speaker 1: that I've seen from. He's been top three in terms
21:15
Speaker 1: of receptions per game among the tight end, so I
21:17
Speaker 1: like what I'm getting. The touchdowns will come. I'm still
21:20
Speaker 1: believing in Kyle Pitchs. Man, all right, I'm glad to
21:23
Speaker 1: see you you come around. I mean, you know, I
21:26
Speaker 1: will admit that sometimes my faith waivers. But also I
21:29
Speaker 1: also realize it doesn't take much to be a tightened
21:32
Speaker 1: one Fantasy eight points baby, that's all your hope before.
21:37
Speaker 1: I mean you look, I was looking at the Zach
21:39
Speaker 1: Erz is averaging like nine and a half Fantasy points
21:41
Speaker 1: per game. He's like the tight end, like darn shoulders.
21:43
Speaker 2: I mean, these guys are giving us reasonable decent production,
21:47
Speaker 2: So I can't be mad at Kyle Pitch this season.
21:49
Speaker 1: I'm happy with the production. Man. All right, cool, you
21:53
Speaker 1: are not on the t J Hawkinson Bandwagon. Would you
21:55
Speaker 1: like to take this moment to pat yourself on that.
21:56
Speaker 2: I will pat myself on the back because I was
21:58
Speaker 2: I knew some was fish man, but I am not
22:01
Speaker 2: happy with the ticket that I bought because of you
22:03
Speaker 2: two sitting on that couch over You guys are very convincing.
22:06
Speaker 2: But man, I feel bad for Aronde gad Sin's dad
22:09
Speaker 2: because that is the starting tight end he's been starting
22:12
Speaker 2: over his son these last couple of weeks. I man,
22:14
Speaker 2: he has to go out there with terrible production, being
22:17
Speaker 2: that TJ. Howkinson's not getting that great connection with JJ McCarthy. Man,
22:21
Speaker 2: it's really really miserable to have him right now rostered
22:24
Speaker 2: as your only tight end. It's one of the situations
22:27
Speaker 2: that you just have to ride it out.
22:28
Speaker 1: Man. Yeah, it's it's been bad. There's just there's not
22:33
Speaker 1: really enough passing volume. I know last week McCarthy threw
22:37
Speaker 1: the ball forty two times, which was easily a high
22:39
Speaker 1: for him. But other than that, normally it's between twenty
22:42
Speaker 1: and twenty five attempts per game. There's just not enough
22:44
Speaker 1: volume in that offense for t J. Hawkinson to be successful.
22:48
Speaker 1: So you want more on that, more in depth. And Alison.
22:50
Speaker 1: You can go to nfl dot com slash start set
22:53
Speaker 1: for everything that Michael Eflorio wrote about. Get yourself, Freddie,
22:56
Speaker 1: we got some spicy hot takes for Week eleven.
23:00
Speaker 2: This is a strong sit and I understand why it's
23:02
Speaker 2: on the six.
23:02
Speaker 1: List for Florida.
23:03
Speaker 2: But DJ Moore a big bounce back game against the
23:07
Speaker 2: Minnesota Vikings. And I'm only going there because there is
23:10
Speaker 2: yards upside when it comes to DJ Moore after to catch.
23:13
Speaker 2: The last couple of weeks, we've been seeing that department
23:16
Speaker 2: of where he is starting to be utilized in space
23:18
Speaker 2: where he can work after to catch, versus the first
23:20
Speaker 2: three weeks where he was below the league average in terms.
23:23
Speaker 1: Of yards after to catch per reception.
23:25
Speaker 2: So I'm looking for DJ Moore to get back in
23:27
Speaker 2: that bag going against the Vikings defense that are allowing
23:30
Speaker 2: five point three yards after to catch per reception, which
23:33
Speaker 2: is the fourth most allowed to the wide receiver position.
23:35
Speaker 2: This week, DJ Moore comes back and bounces back big
23:38
Speaker 2: this week.
23:39
Speaker 1: Man, all right, good to see that because it's been tough.
23:43
Speaker 1: If you have DJ Moore on your fantasy roster, what
23:46
Speaker 1: is your hot take for the week or Bowl prediction?
23:48
Speaker 1: I should sun.
23:48
Speaker 4: I kind of gave it away last segment. But Christian
23:50
Speaker 4: Watson one hundred and fifty one or more yards this week.
23:54
Speaker 4: His career high is one hundred and fifty, so I
23:56
Speaker 4: think he's going to break that record. Of the Giants,
23:59
Speaker 4: not only have they allowed the most yards to wide receivers,
24:01
Speaker 4: it's third most on deep passes. They also play man
24:04
Speaker 4: at the second highest rate since returning. Watson leads the
24:07
Speaker 4: Packers all of them in yards on deep targets, and
24:10
Speaker 4: only chuk a Craft who no longer is going to
24:13
Speaker 4: be out there, has more yards against man coverage. So
24:16
Speaker 4: not only do I like the talent that is Christian Watson,
24:19
Speaker 4: I think this is a premium matchup. His everything the
24:22
Speaker 4: Giants struggle against is everything he does well.
24:25
Speaker 1: It would be nice if they find somebody that's close
24:27
Speaker 1: to a number one receiver in that offense. You know,
24:29
Speaker 1: we've been trying to make it work with Romeo Dobbs.
24:32
Speaker 1: People were trying to squint and make Matthew Golden the guy.
24:34
Speaker 1: So maybe Christian Watson can actually fill that void. We
24:36
Speaker 1: will find out. For me. Ashton Gentz will be the
24:41
Speaker 1: top scorer overall this week in fantasy football. We know
24:45
Speaker 1: how effective he can be running the ball. By the way,
24:47
Speaker 1: as much as we say the Cowboys are potentially a
24:49
Speaker 1: streamable option, they're still not good. They still give up
24:52
Speaker 1: about five yards per carry. They still give up a
24:54
Speaker 1: lot of yards on the ground. But also they end
24:57
Speaker 1: up the second most receiving yards to the running back position.
25:00
Speaker 1: And we've seen Genty with five games where he has
25:03
Speaker 1: at least four targets. I think now with no Jacobe Myers, yes,
25:07
Speaker 1: brock Bauers is the number one option. I think Tyler
25:09
Speaker 1: Lockett might be the number two option. I think you
25:11
Speaker 1: can slot Ashton Genty in there as the number three
25:13
Speaker 1: option in the passing game. So I think he gets
25:15
Speaker 1: some opportunities out of the backfield. I think he gets
25:18
Speaker 1: plenty of carries. I think he has a huge day,
25:20
Speaker 1: finds the end zone a couple of times, and I
25:22
Speaker 1: think he has a absolutely bananas explosion week for you
25:27
Speaker 1: in fantasy football. So there you go. That is it.
25:30
Speaker 1: We are done. We appreciate you hanging out with the
25:32
Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Football Show. You know there's real Tell two
25:35
Speaker 1: friends to tell two friends rate review and remember when
25:38
Speaker 1: your boss touch should have a good day. Just go home,
25:40
Speaker 1: be saying they kill yourselves. Enjoy the week eleven. We'll
25:43
Speaker 1: talk to you again on Monday.
26:04
Speaker 4: I don't
