- 0:00Welcome to Voices of Life, a journey through
- 0:04faith, history, and the unfolding story of America
- 0:08as we move toward the 250 -year mark and beyond.
- 0:13Today, we enter Week 5, the promise of renewal,
- 0:18a message anchored in Isaiah 40 -31, a promise
- 0:22spoken by God to every weary heart that longs
- 0:25to rise again. Renewal is not a distant hope.
- 0:30It is a present invitation. A divine exchange
- 0:34where weakness becomes strength, where waiting
- 0:37becomes worship, and where faith becomes the
- 0:40wind that lifts us higher. And guiding us through
- 0:43this powerful message is our host. Pastor David,
- 0:48teacher, storyteller, and voice of clarity for
- 0:51this generation. Prepare your heart. Prepare
- 0:55your mind. Prepare your spirit as we explore
- 0:59why renewal is possible, why renewal is necessary,
- 1:04and how God restores those who wait upon him.
- 1:09This is Voices of Life. This is Week 5. The Promise
- 1:16of Renewal. And now, Pastor David. Welcome to
- 1:26the Voices of Life, a ministry of the Church
- 1:28for Life. I'm Pastor David. Isaiah 40 verse 31
- 1:33is not a poetic wish. It is a divine guarantee.
- 1:39They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their
- 1:43strength. That word renew means to exchange,
- 1:47to trade weakness for power, fatigue for faith,
- 1:50despair for determination. Renewal is not earned.
- 1:54It is received. It is the outcome of waiting.
- 1:57Not passive waiting, but expected waiting. When
- 2:01we wait upon the Lord, we align our hearts with
- 2:04His rhythm. We stop striving and start trusting.
- 2:08We stop rushing and start resting. Renewal begins
- 2:12when we realize that the strength is not found
- 2:15in our own effort, but in God's presence. Every
- 2:20revival, every restoration, every moment of spiritual
- 2:23awakening begins with the posture of waiting.
- 2:26It is the stillness that precedes the soaring.
- 2:30We live in an age of exhaustion. Our calendars
- 2:34are full, but our souls are empty. We scroll
- 2:38endlessly, speak constantly, and rest rarely.
- 2:42Even the church feels the fatigue of the world
- 2:44that never stops moving. Renewal is not a luxury,
- 2:47it is a necessity. Without renewal, faith becomes
- 2:51routine, worship becomes mechanical, and ministry
- 2:54becomes maintenance. Isaiah 40 reminds us that
- 2:58even the youth shall faint and be weary. Strength
- 3:03alone cannot sustain us. Only renewal can. A
- 3:07weary world needs a renewed witness. Believers
- 3:11who have rediscovered the joy of the waiting
- 3:14upon the Lord. Renewal is the antidote to burnout.
- 3:18to the cure for cynicism and the spark that reignites
- 3:23purpose. Renewal flows from one source, the Lord
- 3:28Himself. Not from programs, not from personalities,
- 3:31and not from performance. The Lord is the well
- 3:34that never runs dry. When we draw from Him, we
- 3:38drink living water. When we depend on Him, we
- 3:41find lasting strength. Isaiah 40 verse 31 does
- 3:45not say that they plan upon the Lord or that
- 3:49they work for the Lord, but that they wait upon
- 3:54the Lord. Waiting is worship. It is the act of
- 3:59surrendering control and trusting divine timing.
- 4:01The church must return to this posture. Not frantic,
- 4:06but faithful. Not hurried, but holy. Renewal
- 4:09begins where striving ends. God's renewal follows
- 4:14a divine pattern, elevation, endurance, and consistency.
- 4:19They shall mount up with wings as eagles. That
- 4:24is elevation, rising above the storm. They shall
- 4:28run and not be weary. That is endurance, moving
- 4:31forward with purpose. They shall walk and not
- 4:35faint. That is consistency. Living faithfully
- 4:40day by day. Renewal is not a single moment of
- 4:43inspiration. It is a lifelong rhythm of restoration.
- 4:46It is the cycle of grace that keeps believers
- 4:49strong throughout every season. When the church
- 4:53learns to live in that rhythm, revival ceases
- 4:56to be an event and becomes a lifestyle. God's
- 5:01promise of renewal is not symbolic. It is supernatural.
- 5:05He does not merely refresh emotions. He restores
- 5:08power. He renews courage for the fearful, clarity
- 5:12for the confused, and conviction for the weary.
- 5:16Renewal is the divine exchange that transforms
- 5:19weakness into witness. When God renews strength,
- 5:23he equips his people to stand firm in truth,
- 5:26to serve with compassion, and to lead with humility.
- 5:31This promise is not limited by circumstance or
- 5:35age. It is available to all. Renewal lifts our
- 5:49eyes. It helps us see beyond fatigue, beyond
- 5:53failure, and beyond fear. Eagles soar because
- 5:57they rise above turbulence. Renewed believers
- 6:01rise because they see from God's perspective.
- 6:04When the vision fades, When vision fades, faith
- 6:11falters. But when renewal restores vision, faith
- 6:15flourishes. The church must learn to see again,
- 6:18not through the lens of culture, but through
- 6:21the lens of Christ. Renewal gives us eyes to
- 6:26see opportunity where others see obstacles and
- 6:30hope where others see hopelessness. Vision renewed
- 6:34is destiny rediscovered. Renewal reawakens purpose.
- 6:39It reminds us why we were called, why we were
- 6:42chosen, and why we were sent. When strength returns,
- 6:45mission revives. When mission revives, impact
- 6:50multiplies. Renewal is not about feeling better.
- 6:55It is about living better. It realigns the believer
- 7:00with divine assignment. The church must rediscover
- 7:04its purpose not to entertain but to equip, not
- 7:09to impress, but to inspire, and not to conform,
- 7:13but to transform. Renewal restores the heartbeat
- 7:18of ministry. Faith is the fuel of renewal, but
- 7:22even faith can grow weary when hope is delayed.
- 7:25Renewal revives faith by reminding us that God's
- 7:28timing is perfect, His promises are sure, and
- 7:31His presence is constant. Faith renewed becomes
- 7:34faith unstoppable. It turns waiting into worship
- 7:39and worship into witness. When faith is renewed,
- 7:43fear loses its voice. Renewal transforms believers
- 7:48from spectators into participants in God's unfolding
- 7:52story. Lord, renew our strength. Restore our
- 7:57vision. Revive our purpose. Teach us to wait
- 8:01upon... you until weariness becomes worship and
- 8:06weakness becomes power. Let your promise of renewal
- 8:09become our daily reality. Lift us above the noise,
- 8:13above the fear, above the fatigue, and let us
- 8:17soar with the wings of faith. In this first segment,
- 8:21we discover that renewal is not a concept, it
- 8:24is a covenant. It is God's promise to exchange
- 8:28our weakness for His strength, our fatigue for
- 8:32His faithfulness, and our despair for His direction.
- 8:35Renewal begins with waiting, continues with worship,
- 8:41and culminates in the transformation. It restores
- 8:45vision, revives purpose, and renews faith. Isaiah
- 8:4940 verse 31 reminds us that those who wait upon
- 8:53the Lord do not merely survive, they soar. This
- 8:57segment has laid the foundation. Renewal is possible
- 9:01because God is faithful and renewal is necessary
- 9:04because life without it cannot endure. Renewal
- 9:11is possible because God himself never grows weary.
- 9:14Isaiah 40 declares that he does not faint nor
- 9:18does he grow weary. This is the foundation of
- 9:21renewal. The unchanging strength of God. We grow
- 9:26tired. We lose momentum. We run out of clarity.
- 9:30courage and conviction but god does not his strength
- 9:34is not seasonal his power is not limited his
- 9:38presence is not conditional renewal is possible
- 9:41because the one who renews us is eternally strong
- 9:45when we come to him we are not drawing from a
- 9:50shallow well we are drawing from an infinite
- 9:53source This is why renewal is not only possible,
- 9:57it is guaranteed for those who wait upon him.
- 10:02Renewal is possible because God sees us. He sees
- 10:06the exhaustion we hide. He sees the discouragement
- 10:09we carry. He sees the burdens we pretend are
- 10:13light. Isaiah 40 paints a picture of God who
- 10:17is not distant but deeply aware of his human
- 10:21condition. He sees the fainting youth, the stumbling
- 10:25strong, the weary believer, and He responds not
- 10:28with judgment but with compassion. Renewal begins
- 10:32when we realize that God is not disappointed
- 10:35in our weakness. He is present in it. He meets
- 10:39us in the valley, not just the mountaintop. He
- 10:43renews us because He sees us. Renewal is possible
- 10:49because God speaks comfort into weary places.
- 10:53Isaiah 40 opens with the words, Comfort, comfort.
- 10:58my people comfort is not softness it is strength
- 11:02spoken gently it is the voice of god reminding
- 11:05us that we are not forgotten not abandoned not
- 11:09alone comfort is the beginning of renewal because
- 11:12it restores hope hope restores faith faith restores
- 11:17strength renewal begins with a word a word that
- 11:21reminds us of god's faithfulness god's nearness
- 11:25god's promise The church must rediscover the
- 11:29ministry of comfort, speaking into weary hearts
- 11:33and reminding us that people that renew is not
- 11:37only needed but is near. Renewal is possible
- 11:41because God lifts burdens we cannot carry. Isaiah
- 11:4540 describes a God who gathers lambs in his arms
- 11:50and carries them close to his heart. This is
- 11:53not poetic imagery. It is divine reality. Renewal
- 11:57happens when God carries what we cannot. When
- 12:01he lifts the weight of fear, the weight of guilt,
- 12:04and the weight of disappointment, and the weight
- 12:08of responsibility. We often try to renew ourselves
- 12:12by carrying more, doing more, trying harder.
- 12:15But renewal comes when we surrender burdens,
- 12:20not when we increase them. God renews us by lifting
- 12:25what crushes us and carrying what overwhelms
- 12:28us. Renewal is possible because God specializes
- 12:33in strengthening the weak. Isaiah 40 verse 29
- 12:37declares, This is a miracle of renewal. God does
- 12:48not strengthen the strong. He strengthens the
- 12:50weak. He does not empower the confident. He empowers
- 12:54the humble. Renewal is not for the perfect. It
- 12:58is for the desperate. It is for those who admit
- 13:02their need and come to the one who can meet it.
- 13:06God increases strength where strength is gone.
- 13:09He restores power where power has faded. He renews
- 13:13courage where courage has collapsed. Renewal
- 13:16is possible because God delights in restoring
- 13:19what life has drained. Renewal is possible because
- 13:23God calls us to rise. They shall mount up with
- 13:27wings as eagles. Eagles do not fly by flapping
- 13:31harder. They fly by catching the wind. Renewal
- 13:35is not human striving. It is divine lifting.
- 13:38God calls us to rise above fear, above fatigue,
- 13:44above frustration, and above failure. He calls
- 13:48us to rise into clarity, into courage, into purpose,
- 13:51and into destiny. Renewal is the upward call
- 13:56of God, the invitation to live from His strength,
- 14:01not our own. When God calls us higher, renewal
- 14:05becomes inevitable. Renewal is possible because
- 14:10waiting works. Waiting is not inactivity, it
- 14:14is alignment. It is the posture of trust, the
- 14:18rhythm of surrender, the discipline of dependence.
- 14:21Waiting is worship. Waiting is warfare. Waiting
- 14:28is renewal in slow motion. Isaiah 40 verse 31
- 14:32teaches us that renewal is not found in rushing,
- 14:35but in resting. Not in striving, but surrendering.
- 14:40And not pushing forward, but in leaning upward.
- 14:43Waiting is the soil where renewal grows. When
- 14:48we wait upon the Lord, we are not losing time.
- 14:52We are gaining strength. Renewal is possible
- 14:55because God renews through relationship, not
- 14:59religion. Isaiah 40 is a chapter of intimacy.
- 15:03A God who speaks, who comforts, and who carries,
- 15:06who strengthens, who lifts, who renews. Renewal
- 15:10is not formulated as a fellowship. It is the
- 15:14daily, quiet, sacred connection between the believer
- 15:17and the creator. Renewal happens when we draw
- 15:21near to him, listen to him, rest in him, and
- 15:26walk with him. Relationship is the engine of
- 15:29renewal. The place where strength is restored
- 15:33and purpose is revived Let us pray Lord renew
- 15:39us because you are strong Renew us because you
- 15:43see us Renew us because you comfort us Renew
- 15:49us because you carry us Renew us because you
- 15:54strengthen us Renew us because you call us higher
- 15:59Teach us to wait upon you until your strength
- 16:03becomes our strength and your promise becomes
- 16:06our reality. Amen. This segment has shown us
- 16:10why renewal is possible because God himself is
- 16:14the source of renewal. He never grows weary.
- 16:17He sees our exhaustion. He speaks comfort. He
- 16:21lifts burdens. He strengthens weakness. He calls
- 16:23us higher. And He renews us through waiting and
- 16:26relationship. Renewal is not a human achievement.
- 16:30It is a divine gift. It is possible because God
- 16:34is faithful. And it is necessary because life
- 16:38without renewal becomes survival instead of purpose.
- 16:42This segment has revealed the heart of renewal.
- 16:45God does not simply restore strength. He restores
- 16:49us. Weariness is not simply tiredness. It is
- 16:54depletion. It is the slow erosion of strength.
- 16:59Clarity and conviction. It is the quiet fatigue
- 17:02that settles into the soul when life becomes
- 17:06heavier than expected and hope feels farther
- 17:08than imagined. Isaiah 40 acknowledges this reality.
- 17:13Even the strongest grow weary. Even the most
- 17:15disciplined faint. Even the most faithful stumble.
- 17:19Weariness is universal. It touches families,
- 17:22leaders, churches, and nations. Renewal is necessary
- 17:26because weariness is inevitable. No one escapes
- 17:29it, but no one has to remain in it. Renewal is
- 17:34God's answer to the human condition, the divine
- 17:37remedy for spiritual exhaustion. When weariness
- 17:41goes unaddressed, it becomes dangerous. It distorts
- 17:45perspective, weakens resolve, and erodes faith.
- 17:49unaddressed weariness leads to discouragement
- 17:53discouragement leads to disengagement and disengagement
- 17:58leads to defeat people stop praying stop believing
- 18:03stop serving stop hoping churches lose momentum
- 18:07families lose unity communities lose compassion
- 18:11nations lose direction weariness is not harmless
- 18:16at all it is corrosive renewal is necessary because
- 18:21without it weariness becomes a spiritual weight
- 18:24that crushes purpose and silences callings waiting
- 18:31is one of the greatest sources of weariness waiting
- 18:33for answers waiting for healing waiting for breakthrough
- 18:36waiting for clarity waiting for god to move when
- 18:41everything around us feels stuck Waiting tests
- 18:45patience. It stretches our faith and exposes
- 18:49fear. But Isaiah 40 verse 31 teaches us that
- 18:53waiting is not wasted. It is transformative.
- 18:57Waiting is the place where renewal is born. The
- 19:01weariness of waiting becomes the doorway to strength
- 19:04of the soaring. Renewal is necessary because
- 19:08waiting is unavoidable. And only God can turn
- 19:12waiting into worship. Life places burdens on
- 19:17every shoulder. Responsibilities that feel too
- 19:20heavy. Expectations that feel too high. Challenges
- 19:23that feel too consistent. Some burdens are chosen.
- 19:28Others are inherited. Some are visible. Others
- 19:32are hidden. But the burdens drain strength. Isaiah
- 19:3640 reveals a God who carries his people. Who
- 19:40gathers them close. Who lifts. what they cannot
- 19:44lift. Renewal is necessary because burdens are
- 19:47real. And without renewal, burdens become bondage.
- 19:51Renewal breaks the weight of what life has placed
- 19:55upon us and restores the strength to walk forward
- 19:58again. Disappointment is one of the deepest forms
- 20:02of weariness. It is fatigue that comes from unmet
- 20:07expectation, unanswered prayers, unrealized dreams.
- 20:12Disappointment whispers lies, that God has forgotten,
- 20:17that hope is foolish, that faith is futile. But
- 20:21Isaiah 40 reminds us that God's ways are higher,
- 20:23His timing is perfect, and His promises are sure.
- 20:29Renewal is necessary because disappointment is
- 20:32inevitable, but despair is not. Renewal restores
- 20:35hope where disappointment has drained it, and
- 20:38revives faith where discouragement has silenced
- 20:41it. We live in a culture today that exhausts
- 20:45the soul. Noise without rest, opinions without
- 20:48truth, activity without purpose, distraction
- 20:51without direction. The constant pressure to perform,
- 20:56to produce, to prove, to pretend, it weirs down
- 21:00even the strongest hearts. Isaiah 40 calls us
- 21:05to rise above cultural turbulence like eagles.
- 21:08Rising above the storm. Renewal is necessary
- 21:11because culture drains strength, but God restores
- 21:15it. Renewal gives believers the clarity to see,
- 21:19the courage to stand, and the conviction to remain
- 21:23faithful in a world that is constantly shifting.
- 21:27Ministry is beautiful, but it is also exhausting.
- 21:31Serving people, carrying burdens, leading teams,
- 21:34preaching truth, standing in the gap. These are
- 21:37all holy responsibilities, but they are heavy
- 21:40ones. Even Jesus withdrew to lonely places to
- 21:45pray. Even Paul spoke of despairing under pressure.
- 21:50Even Elijah collapsed under the weight of calling.
- 21:55Ministry weariness is not failure, it is human.
- 21:59Renewal is necessary because ministry requires
- 22:01strength that only God can provide. Renewal restores
- 22:05joy. Revives passion and reignites calling. Life
- 22:12is a journey. And every journey has moments where
- 22:16the road feels long and the destination feels
- 22:18distant. Weariness settles in when progress feels
- 22:22slow, when obstacles feel large, and when the
- 22:26future feels uncertain. But Isaiah 40 verse 31
- 22:29promises that those who wait upon the Lord will
- 22:33walk and not faint. Renewal is necessary because
- 22:36the journey is long. And only God can sustain
- 22:41us for the miles ahead. Renewal is the strength
- 22:45that keeps us moving when everything in us wants
- 22:49to stop. Let us pray. Lord, we confess our weariness.
- 22:56The weariness of waiting, the weariness of burdens,
- 22:58the weariness of disappointment, the weariness
- 23:00of culture, and the weariness of ministry. The
- 23:04weariness of the journey. Renew us where we are
- 23:10depleted. Restore us where we are discouraged.
- 23:12Revive us where we are drained. Let your strength
- 23:17replace our weakness and your hope replace our
- 23:20heaviness. Amen. This segment has revealed why
- 23:25renewal is necessary. Because weariness is real.
- 23:30relentless, and universal. Worriness distorts
- 23:32perspective, it weakens our conviction, and it
- 23:36drains our faith. It comes through waiting, through
- 23:41burdens, through disappointment, through culture,
- 23:43through ministry, and through the long journey
- 23:46of life. Renewal is not optional. It is essential.
- 23:50It is the divine intervention that restores strength,
- 23:54revives hope, and reawakens purpose. This segment
- 24:00has shown us that without renewal, weariness
- 24:03becomes defeat. But with renewal, weariness becomes
- 24:07transformation. Renewal clears what life has
- 24:11clouded. It wipes away the fog of confusion,
- 24:14the haze of discouragement, and the dust of disappointment.
- 24:18Isaiah 40 verse 31 is not only about strength,
- 24:21it is about sight. Eagles soar because they see
- 24:25clearly. Renewed believers rise because God restores
- 24:29vision. Clarity is not merely knowing what to
- 24:32do. It is knowing who God is, who we are, and
- 24:38where he is leading. Renewal produces clarity
- 24:41that cuts through the cultural noise and reveals
- 24:44divine direction. A renewed church sees the spiritual
- 24:47sharpness, and a renewed believer walks with
- 24:51spiritual confidence. Renewal does not simply
- 24:55strengthen the body, it strengthens the heart.
- 24:57Courage is the fruit of renewal. It is the boldness
- 25:00to stand truth when truth is contested, to walk
- 25:03in faith when faith is challenged, and to live
- 25:08with conviction when conviction is costly. Isaiah
- 25:1240 verse 31 promises that renewed strength leads
- 25:14to renewed courage. Eagles do not fear the storm,
- 25:18they rise above it. Renewed believers do not
- 25:21fear adversity. They face it with God -given
- 25:23boldness. Renewal produces courage that is not
- 25:27reckless but righteous, not loud but loyal, and
- 25:31not aggressive but anchored. Renewal is not only
- 25:37about soaring, though. It is also about staying.
- 25:41It is about running without weariness and walking
- 25:45without fainting. Endurance is the quiet miracle
- 25:49of renewal. The ability to remain faithful when
- 25:52the journey is long. When the road is steep and
- 25:56when the season is heavy. Endurance is not glamorous,
- 26:00but it is glorious. It is the strength to keep
- 26:04praying, keep serving, keep believing, keep loving,
- 26:08and keep hoping. Renewal produces endurance.
- 26:13that outlasts adversity and outlives opposition.
- 26:16A renewed believer does not quit. They persevere.
- 26:22Renewal stabilizes the soul. It anchors the heart.
- 26:26It steadies the mind. It strengthens the spirit.
- 26:29Isaiah 40 verse 31 describes believers who walk
- 26:32without fainting. That is stability. Renewal
- 26:36produces believers who are not tossed by emotion.
- 26:39not shaken by circumstance not swayed by culture
- 26:42not overwhelmed by pressure stability is the
- 26:45fruit of the spiritual maturity and maturity
- 26:48is the fruit of renewal a renewed church becomes
- 26:53a stabilizing force in an unstable world a renewed
- 26:59believer becomes a steady witness in a shifting
- 27:02culture renewal turns waiting into worship it
- 27:07transforms exhaustion into exaltation it shifts
- 27:11the heart from striving to surrender from panic
- 27:14to praise from heaviness to holiness worship
- 27:18is not merely singing it is seeing It is seeing
- 27:23God clearly enough to trust Him deeply. Renewal
- 27:26produces worship that is authentic, consistent,
- 27:30and contagious. A renewed church worships with
- 27:35passion, with purity, with purpose. Worship becomes
- 27:39the atmosphere where renewal continues to grow.
- 27:43Renewal awakens calling. It reignites mission.
- 27:47It restores direction. Isaiah 40 verse 31 is
- 27:51not only about strength, it is about assignment.
- 27:54When God renews strength, he renews purpose.
- 27:57Purpose is not discovered in exhaustion, it is
- 28:01discovered in renewal. A renewed believer remembers
- 28:05why they were created, why they were called,
- 28:09why they were chosen. A renewed church remembers
- 28:13its mission. to proclaim Christ, to serve humanity,
- 28:18to stand in truth, to shine in darkness. Renewal
- 28:23produces purpose that is clear, compelling, and
- 28:28courageous. Renewal brings people together, softens
- 28:31hearts, heals wounds, restores relationships,
- 28:34and strengthens community. Weariness isolates.
- 28:38Renewal unites. Isaiah 40 is a chapter of comfort,
- 28:42and comfort creates connection. A renewed church
- 28:46becomes a unified church. A people who pray together,
- 28:51serve together, worship together, and walk together.
- 28:54Unity is not conformity. It is shared purpose.
- 28:59Renewal produces unity that becomes a testimony
- 29:03to a divided world. Renewal is never private.
- 29:07It becomes public. It becomes visible. It becomes
- 29:11influential. A renewed believer becomes a living
- 29:15testimony of God's faithfulness. A renewed church
- 29:18becomes a beacon in the weary world. Witness
- 29:21is not merely what we say. It is who we are.
- 29:26It is the strength we carry. We hope. We radiate.
- 29:32The peace we embody. faith we display renewal
- 29:37produces witness that draws people to Christ
- 29:41because they see Christ in us let us pray Lord
- 29:45let renewal produce clarity in our minds courage
- 29:49in our hearts endurance in our journey stability
- 29:52in our spirit worship in our lives purpose in
- 29:56our calling unity in our community and witness
- 30:00in our world shape our future through your renewal
- 30:03let us rise with wings as eagles run without
- 30:07weariness and walk without fainting amen segment
- 30:11four has shown us what renewal produces clarity
- 30:15that guides courage that strengthens endurance
- 30:18that sustains stability that anchors worship
- 30:22that transforms purpose that directs Unity that
- 30:26heals and witness that shines. Renewal is not
- 30:30merely restoration, it is transformation. It
- 30:33shapes the future of believers, the future of
- 30:36families, the future of churches, and the future
- 30:40of nations. Isaiah 40 verse 31 is not only a
- 30:44promise, it is a pathway. A pathway into a life
- 30:48strengthened by God, lifted by God, and sustained
- 30:51by God. Segment four completes the message, renewal
- 30:55is possible because God is faithful and renewal
- 30:58is necessary because the future depends on it.
- 31:01Let us pray. Father, as we come to the end of
- 31:04this message on renewal, we pause to acknowledge
- 31:07your strength, your faithfulness, your unfailing
- 31:10promise to restore every weary heart that waits
- 31:13upon you. Lord, renew our minds where... Confusion
- 31:18has settled. Renew our courage where fear has
- 31:20whispered. Renew our endurance where the journey
- 31:23has grown long. Renew our stability where the
- 31:26life has shaken us. Renew our worship where distraction
- 31:30has dimmed our devotion. Renew our purpose where
- 31:34calling has felt distant. Renew our unity where
- 31:38division has tried to take root. And renew our
- 31:42witness so that the world may see. Christ in
- 31:45us. Lift us, Father, as Isaiah 40 verse 31 declares.
- 31:50Lift us with wings like eagles above the noise,
- 31:54above the pressure, above the fatigue, above
- 31:56the battle we cannot fight alone. Teach us to
- 32:00wait upon you with trust, with expectation, with
- 32:03surrender. Let your strength become our strength.
- 32:07Your vision become our vision. Your future become
- 32:11our future. And as we step forward from this
- 32:15moment, let renewal not be a message we heard,
- 32:19but a reality we live. Let it shape our families,
- 32:23our ministries, our communities, and our nation.
- 32:25We thank you for the promise of renewal, and
- 32:29we receive it now in Jesus' name. Amen. Thank
- 32:34you for joining me today. This message on renewal
- 32:37is more than encouragement. It is... invitation.
- 32:41It is God's call to rise again, to breathe again,
- 32:45to hope again, and to live again. Isaiah 40 verse
- 32:4931 reminds us that renewal is not a distant possibility.
- 32:53It is a present promise, a promise for the weary,
- 32:56a promise for the waiting, a promise for the
- 32:58burdened, a promise for every believer who chooses
- 33:02to trust the strength of God more than the strain
- 33:06of life. Renewal is not a moment. It is a movement.
- 33:10A movement of clarity, of courage, of endurance,
- 33:14of stability, of worship, of purpose, of unity.
- 33:20It is the work God does in us so he can work
- 33:24through us. And as we step forward from this
- 33:27episode, my prayer is simple. That you wait upon
- 33:31the Lord. with expectation, with surrender, with
- 33:35faith, and that His strength will lift you higher
- 33:38than the weight of the season. The promise of
- 33:41renewal is real. It is necessary, and it belongs
- 33:44to you. I'm Pastor David, and I look forward
- 33:48to walking with you in the next week's message
- 33:50as America After 250, the story continues, moves
- 33:54forward in its next chapter, week six, The Family
- 33:58After 250. Today. We explored the promise of
- 34:03renewal, a promise spoken by God, anchored in
- 34:07Isaiah 40, 31, and offered to every weary heart
- 34:11that chooses to wait upon the Lord. Renewal is
- 34:15not a distant hope. It is a present reality.
- 34:19It is the strength God gives when human strength
- 34:22runs out. It is the clarity He restores when
- 34:27vision has dimmed. It is the courage he awakens
- 34:30when fear has whispered too long. We learn that
- 34:35renewal is possible because God never grows weary.
- 34:39And renewal is necessary because life often does.
- 34:44And as this episode comes to a close, the message
- 34:48remains simple and powerful. Those who wait upon
- 34:53the Lord will rise again. They will run again.
- 34:58They will walk again. They will live again.
