- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I was praying for my friends the other day and their specific concerns

- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I was praying for a prodigal child who's walked away from God,
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: which is just breaking their parents' hearts.
- 0:48I prayed for broken family relationships where they're fighting with each
- 0:51other.

- 0:56can't
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: figure out a diagnosis or a treatment.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I prayed for a friend to find a job after being laid off for months.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: You get the idea.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: These aren't trivial things for my friends.

- 1:15own
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: life where things like this are happening.

- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And the Bible draws many parallels to God being the Christian's Shepherd.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: The shepherd gets to know them so well,
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: he can detect even the slightest limp,
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: or he can notice the wounds that aren't visible,
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: like a bruise that's causing an issue with one of his animals.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: The Lord, our Shepherd, sees us.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: The Lord, our Shepherd, sees us.

- 2:20SPEAKER_00: He doesn't have to be told.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: He doesn't have to be told.

- 2:40He understands how to clean the cut,
- 2:42make the salve,
- 2:43apply it for proper healing.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: It's a daily part of his job.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Our Good Shepherd tends to our wounds, too.

- 2:50Psalms 147:3 talks about how He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their

- 3:55SPEAKER_00: We have to remember he has his own plan.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So let's wrap this up.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Being in the Lord's flock guarantees we are receiving the best care.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: The Lord is all-powerful and all-knowing.

- 4:16SPEAKER_00: So friends, trust Him today.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Follow where the Gentle Shepherd leads,
