- 0:00Helm me, I'm me that check coming from what's his first pumps plus guy?
- 0:07Yeah, it's gone through. Have you got the script? Yeah,
- 0:13that's a lot of listener. Yeah, I think I do this right.
- 0:19Hello and welcome to bf yw's episode two hundred Game Show Spectacular. Please do
- 0:28not adjust your podcast playing product of choice. You are indeed listening to the
- 0:32mellow and harmonious tones and the explicitly sexual energy of mister crunchy streams. I
- 0:39have been given the glorious honor of being your announcer, your guide, and,
- 0:45if you're lucky, your audible fluffer, because I will be taking you
- 0:49through three games for those special guests, special prizes, and special surprises as
- 0:55the bfitew Boys celebrate their two hundred show in traditional fashion. That's right,
- 1:02they're naked and covering hot souls. And I'll be bringing you some b fy
- 1:04t W trivia during the breaks so you can play along at home. But
- 1:10that's enough fanfare, because he's only paid for a certain amount of time.
- 1:14Let's get on with the fucking show. Hang on to our first game.
- 1:26What's what's all right? What's he saying? He has this? Heinagy and
- 1:37there and there give it a good cane. Well, yeah, give it
- 1:40a good cane. That's it. That's it. Oh yes, I said
- 1:46on his bit of white powder from the Internet. It's the game where Lady
- 1:53Luck is a short king and Knowledge is a fabulous drag Queen's cruise Wild.
- 2:01And here is your host, Panciless Eeran. Thank you, Crunchy. Yes,
- 2:09I am your host, pantss Aaron here for bfytw's two hundredth episode game
- 2:15show Extravaganza and to celebrate, our first game is going to be The Tooker's
- 2:25Wild, a little take on an old classic game show with a fresh,
- 2:31somewhat marijuana themed twist. Yeah. And to celebrate game shows, we of
- 2:39course had to invite and also given there's a two hundred episode, we wanted
- 2:45to invite people who have had the most positive impact on our show, people
- 2:50who've been on multiple times and brought all the funny and all the fun And
- 2:53I could not think of two better people to have for our first playing of
- 2:58the Tokers Wild Russ and Lauren from the Infectious Groove podcast video channel and Beard
- 3:05out Hi. I felt like a good introduction until I tripped over the end.
- 3:15Yeah close, It's life so you two are going to be playing against
- 3:21each other, right, And as you can see, we have our three
- 3:27or three reels here of which categories are going to appear, and they are
- 3:32the sixties, bfytw movies, the nineties, and finally video games. Now,
- 3:43when we spin these wheels, they're gonna come up randomly, but there's
- 3:45also tookers up there. And if you see the choker, he'll look awfully
- 3:50familiar. He counts as a wild. If you take a single category that
- 3:54appears on only one of the wheels, it's for fifty cents. If you
- 3:59get two catgories on the wheels, it's worth a dollar, and if you
- 4:01get three categories, it's worth two dollars. That's with any combination of wilds
- 4:05and categories. Of course, if you get a natural triple congratulations is worth
- 4:10two dollars, but you're locked into that category. If you get three tokers,
- 4:14you could win the game outright by just answering one question in the category
- 4:17of your choice. So it's gonna calm down to luck. But it is
- 4:24basically classic, very familiar game show. I'm sure. And Lauren, we've
- 4:30put you in the first position, So hi, Lauren, just real quick
- 4:34introductions, anything you want to say. Are you excited? Did you expect
- 4:40this? Like? What what you running through your mind right now? Coing
- 4:45through my mind right now. First of all, congratulations on two hundred episodes.
- 4:47That's an exciting accomplishment. Oh man, yeah, wild I thank you.
- 4:53Yeah. And you know what, I'd never come into this show with
- 4:56any expectation other than to have a very very good time, because y'all's podcast
- 5:01is my favorite podcast to be a guest on because it's just a fun thing
- 5:05to do. So thank you for having me as part of this. Absolutely
- 5:10absolutely, it's always something fun. Hell yeah and uh and of course your
- 5:16competitor, Russ, thank you so much for coming Russ and playing along with
- 5:19us. I hope you don't mind playing against your wife. No, no,
- 5:24I mean it's not going to be the subject of many conversations this week
- 5:27in the house. Well we'll see no real quick to echo Laurence thoughts,
- 5:32though, I kid you not, Like I know, there's like kind of
- 5:35a private thing that goes on that people don't know about. But like the
- 5:39moment that we get done we're doing a guest spot on your show, I
- 5:43immediately send one or all of you a message on Discord and I'm like,
- 5:46so you got any more of them guest spots if I happen to wage it
- 5:54or if Laura does. Like Laura for this particular one, Lauren came into
- 5:57me and she was like, Hey, I'm writing this on the calendar because
- 5:59we're going to be at BFI tw and like instantly, my like with my
- 6:01knee jerk reaction was oh fuck yeah, hell yeah. I love what y'all
- 6:08do. Like I y'all know, I think everybody should at least try to
- 6:13put out more positivity in the world. And I think I say this on
- 6:16Twitter all the time when I share your guys' stuff, and I think that,
- 6:19uh, I don't know, kind of like if you say the same
- 6:21thing enough, people are probably like, that's just a canned response, but
- 6:25it's not. Like I think, if people want to smile more and laugh
- 6:30more and like not deal with all the negativity we see in the world,
- 6:33then they absolutely should be listening to your showy Yeah that's why. Hell yeah,
- 6:41all right, Well I'm glowing, so I need to take the edge
- 6:46off. Let's play some Tooker's wild, shall we. Lauren, you're in
- 6:49the first position you're going to take turns, spinning the reels and getting categories
- 6:53and figuring out what you would like to attempt. Be aware that if you
- 6:56get it wrong, your opponent will get a chance to get it right and
- 6:59steal the money you would have earned otherwise. And of course, the last
- 7:02thing to remember is when someone reaches five dollars, that triggers the end game.
- 7:06It doesn't necessarily end right away. If Lauren reaches at first, Russ
- 7:11will have a final spin to try and catch up, and if they if
- 7:14they tie, will keep playing until someone has a higher total than the other,
- 7:17after both have taken their spins and turns. So let's get started,
- 7:21Lauren. I'm gonna have you spin. Since we can't see you, I
- 7:24would like you to just make ak chunk noise to indicate that you've pulled the
- 7:28lever down. So whenever you're ready, go ahead and give me a good
- 7:30solid chunk chunk And there we go. They're spinning. We got toker,
- 7:38the sixties and video games. Lauren, what would you like? I will
- 7:45take the sixties. The sixties for a teller feel. I know this is
- 7:55the first time Stevie's seen it, but he's acting like it's the first time
- 7:58you've seen it. I look like all the time because it's funny. You
- 8:05say that because I was like, Oh, this must be the first time
- 8:07we see that. Nope, but it's still funny every time. Lauren,
- 8:13here's your question on the sixties for a dollar. On February ninth, nineteen
- 8:18sixty four, the Beatles gave their first live US television performance on What TV
- 8:22show The Ed Sullivan Show. Is exactly right, Well done, Lauren.
- 8:31You have a dollar, Russ, it is your turn to spend, give
- 8:35me a chunk, got a job, and you have toker the sixties again
- 8:43and the sixties. Would you like to do the sixties for a triple or
- 8:48would you like to go off the board for fifty cents? I would be
- 8:52so mad if I'm not going to get a sixties. I feel like the
- 8:56only thing I know from the sixties is the Beatles and Elvis shit. So
- 9:03wait, I can take a half point and go with You have a wild
- 9:07on the board, so you can swap that for any category you want,
- 9:09and you can just do one for fifty cents if you'd rather, if you'd
- 9:13feel more comfortable with something else. However, the sixties question is worth two
- 9:16dollars. I should tell you because it's a triple. I'll try, I'll
- 9:22try the sixties. He's trying the sixties for a triple. The boys are
- 9:26nodding their heads. Yep, they're all in there. Right, Let's see
- 9:30how you do, Rustlers. Here's your question on the sixties? What nineteen
- 9:35sixty seven musical features the songs good Morning, Starshine and Aquarius? Oh hair?
- 9:43That is right, very timely, Oh, very good. It's a
- 9:50great musical for reals. Okay, it goes back over to you, Lauren,
- 9:54when you're ready, could chunk me? Oh good, junk? There
- 9:58we go. In video games, talker anders, Okay, you can take
- 10:07video games for a triple, or you can do any other category for a
- 10:11double. What are you feeling, I'm not well, video games could be
- 10:18a whole lot of things. I'm not like super confident in it. You
- 10:22know what, Let's try. Let's go videogame for two for the triple?
- 10:26All right, for two dollars, laurens lock that in. Here is your
- 10:31question, Lauren. Smoke on the Water is a fictional medical marijuana shop that
- 10:37can be purchased in what video game franchise. Um hmm. The only thing
- 10:46I can really guess is SIMS. That is incorrect. Okay, okay,
- 10:52so I'm going to toss it over to Russ. Russ, if you know
- 10:54the answer, you can steal the two dollars. Smoke on the Water is
- 10:58a fictional medical marijuana shop that can be purchased in what video game franchise?
- 11:03And I henilized just for guessing. No, no, no, no,
- 11:09you don't lose if you get it wrong. I doubt it with this company.
- 11:13But Animal Crossing No, yeah, incredible medical. I want to shop
- 11:20an Animal Crossing at one point, you know, Stevie or Agi do you
- 11:28know? I think I know? What do you think it is? It's
- 11:31either going to be Saints Row, which is the more likely one, or
- 11:35g t A. It is indeed Grand Theft Auto, Yeah, which the
- 11:37correct answer. Uh so nobody gets that money, but that's fine. The
- 11:43spin goes over to Russ. Give me a a chunk when you're ready,
- 11:46Choco, video games, movies or the nineties all for fifty cents? Which
- 11:56would you which would you prefer? Let's go, we haven't done yet,
- 12:00let's do it. Well, let's do a nineties question. Okay, so
- 12:03for fifty cents, Russ, here's your question. In nineteen ninety seven,
- 12:07Princess Diana died in a car crash in what European capital city, Paris,
- 12:15France? That's correct? Damn yeah, yeah, all right, Lauren,
- 12:22it's your turn to spin again. Cut Chuck. I was gonna make a
- 12:26wiley coyote bfy tw bfy tw and a toger all right, So I should
- 12:35warn you the bfytw questions are about us and the things we've said and done
- 12:39on the show. However, because not everybody who's going to be on this
- 12:41show knows our show backwards and forwards, these questions are all multiple choice.
- 12:48Cool, So bfy tw will give you multiple choice, or you can take
- 12:52the wild and go off the board and pick a different category. No fuck
- 12:56it, it'll take the bfytw questions. See what happened? For two dollars?
- 13:00Yes, i'mous. Lauren goes for a by t question. Yeah is
- 13:03your question? In episode number one sixty five, Multi Coastal and Beasterns,
- 13:11which cast member said that the coolest thing they'd done that week was plot a
- 13:16murder Aaron Stevie or Augie, which one of us said, the coolest thing
- 13:24we've done that week was plot a murder. I'm going to go with Aaron.
- 13:28I don't even remember Aaron. Aaron is incorrect, Russ. You can
- 13:33steal it. Is it Stevie or Augie? Augie? Is the correct answer?
- 13:41What I did? Yes? You did? What was I doing?
- 13:50The question? Go ahead? Is this admissible? Court? Please? I
- 13:58don't remember it at all? Netflix, doctor not? You know what I
- 14:03mean? That was Lauren Spin. So Russ, you get just go ahead
- 14:09and spin when you're ready. You just need a single to win the game,
- 14:16Chuck, there we go, and we have the nineties video games or
- 14:24the nineties. We're going yet, you just need fifty cents to get across
- 14:28the finish line. But you're going with the nineties, the nies. All
- 14:31right, let's lock that in, and you're going with the one dollar question
- 14:35to win the game and five dollars and fifty cents for your charity. Russ,
- 14:39here is your question. In the nineties, Brian mulroney, Kim Campbell,
- 14:45and Jean Schretienne each served during the nineties as Prime Minister of What Country.
- 14:52Brian mulroney, Kim Campbell and Jean Schretien each served during the nineties as
- 14:58Prime Minister of what country? For the wind, I'm gonna come off as
- 15:03such an American. I know we had a Clinton then, and that's the
- 15:09one that mattered, the one that played Texaphone in eight McDonald's right, whatsoever.
- 15:18I'm gonna go with Canada and that wins you the game. Well,
- 15:33there was a little bit say in those names, and that's the only reason
- 15:35why I went with it. Well done, well done, well, congratulations
- 15:39on your win. Russ. Don't worry, Lauren. We're gonna play at
- 15:41least two more games of this, so uh, you will get another chance
- 15:46to win and get over here. But for now, Russ, you're going
- 15:48to face the dragon. We have replaced the category wheels. I was not
- 15:54told there would be a dragon. You've been worn. Now there is a
- 15:58dragon. This is dragon. Sorry, try to do anything. No,
- 16:03you don't have to do anything. Stevee's freaking out. No, it's all
- 16:07good. Dragon. So we've we've replaced the category wheels with dollar amounts,
- 16:12and they range from twenty five cents to fifty seventy five cents a dollar,
- 16:18a dollar fifty and two dollars. But beware behind one of those reels is
- 16:22our stoner dragon friend, Smoggyggy. SMOGGYE is hanging out. Smoggy is hanging
- 16:30out behind one of those wheels, and if he comes up, he will
- 16:34instantly end your bonus round. Otherwise, all money you collect is yours.
- 16:41If you manage to get to ten dollars without seeing Smoggy, you will win
- 16:45the bonus round and we will add a forty dollars bonus. Okay, but
- 16:51you may stop at any time and just take the money you want up until
- 16:53that point. If you if you get a natural triple, if you get
- 16:57three of the same amount of money, it's an instant win. Puts you
- 17:02at ten dollars immediately and you've won. But bear in mind you can also
- 17:07instantly lose anytime Smoggy shows up. Sorry in advance, Russ, when you're
- 17:14ready, go ahead and get us Kickstarter with your first chunk a chunk,
- 17:21and RUSS has a dollar seventy five cents and a dollar. Russ, you've
- 17:30got three dollars twenty five cents. That is yours to keep if you want
- 17:33to stop now, or you can keep going and risk the wrath of Smoggy.
- 17:37What do you want to do, Stevee. Stevie wants you to go,
- 17:40but it's your well you, I know, but I'm playing for charity
- 17:44though, Like if it was me, i'd just be like, just keep
- 17:45going, but like, I really want money for charity. Okay, I
- 17:49have a clarifying question that I'm certain you I explained, but I was very
- 17:53wrapped up in the excitement and missed. Is this similar to press your luck
- 18:00where I get three whammys or is it just if one Smoggy comes up?
- 18:03If one Smoggy shows up, the bonus round is over. It's just okay.
- 18:07I hate to be the guy that takes the money and run, but
- 18:11I really want some money to go towards this charity because it's really close to
- 18:14my heart. So I'm gonna take this money run all right. That's perfectly
- 18:18fair, perfectly fair. That is fine. If this was just for me,
- 18:22I would take this all the way to the wall and I just lose.
- 18:26But like I said, we're gonna play two more games, so there
- 18:29will be two more chances to play the bonus round. So maybe next time
- 18:32you come back. Maybe then you risk it now that you've got something banked.
- 18:36But it's up to you. However you want to play it, man,
- 18:37it's fine. So your final answers are gonna stop you there and take
- 18:40the three twenty five. All right, So congratulations Russ, and let's see
- 18:49do we see where Smoggy is in this case? I think let's find out
- 18:53which really was hiding under? Any guesses, I'm gonna say the two dollars
- 18:57because he's up there, he's high. No, which one of the three
- 19:00wheels? He's not a dollar amount? No, he's hiding behind one of
- 19:04those. Dude, Any guests, I think like like a dollar. Do
- 19:11you guys still not understand? There are three reels? No, One,
- 19:14two, three. I'm just going to show you he was in the third.
- 19:19He was over there all day. He's he's just chilling. He's just
- 19:26chilling. But Russ, congratulations, you have eight dollars and seventy five cents.
- 19:34I am fire, I am So that's game number one. Russ has
- 19:44eight dollars seventy five cents for his charity. There's gonna be time to win
- 19:47a bunch more. We're gonna take a short break and set up game two
- 19:49and we'll be right back. If you like fun, then you're gonna love
- 20:03the beard Out Podcast. It's a podcast where we talk about two of the
- 20:06greatest things in the world, beer and weird Out, And frankly, we
- 20:10talk more about weird Out than anything because he's the gift that keeps on given.
- 20:15So join us as we talk through weird Ow's career, what he needs
- 20:19of us, and we have some very special guests on to discuss the magic
- 20:23that is Alfred Matthew Yankovic. Beard Out part of the Odd God Media Network.
- 20:41All right, let's play Game two of the Tokers Wild and we've got
- 20:45some new categories up there. One returning category it will be at all three
- 20:49games. So we've got seventies music, bfytw of course, marijuana, eighties
- 20:56movies, and the US history of Oh. So those might be tantalizing categories
- 21:06for our players, or they might not. I don't know. Steevie Dogg
- 21:08in the room had a kind of gut reaction to US history, so painful
- 21:12memories. Past is bad. A lot of happening, Lauren, So tell
- 21:23me briefly about the charity that you're playing for and why they're important to you.
- 21:29You know what, Actually I'm going to defer to my husband for that,
- 21:30because we're playing for the same category, and he speaks way more eloquently
- 21:34about that than I do. I experience with it. We're both playing even
- 21:38though we're against each other, we're both playing for a foundation called the Music
- 21:41Cares per Foundation. And the thing is this that all these artists that we
- 21:48love, I don't care how into music you are, if you just kind
- 21:52of like music or you absolutely love music, there is a song somewhere along
- 21:56the line that has changed your life. And that we don't think about with
- 22:00these artists that change all of our lives and the glits and the glamor that
- 22:03comes along with it is there is no healthcare system in place for any of
- 22:07these people. Yeah, but they have all sorts of access to the worst
- 22:11of humankind as far as substances go, and enablers and so on. So
- 22:17what Music Cares does is it provides a system of help for not only just
- 22:23regular healthcare, but also substance views issues. And the reason why it's so
- 22:27close to my heart is I at least know of three separate musicians of varying
- 22:32degrees over the past several decades whose lives have been saved by the money and
- 22:38time and care that music cares provides. Though, that's why it's important to
- 22:42me. And again, you know, whether you're a movie guy, a
- 22:45music guy, a sports person, a video game person, like music has
- 22:49moved you in some way, and we don't take care enough of our artists
- 22:52in my opinion, So that's why it's important to me. Gotcha, that's
- 22:56awesome, that's hard. Yeah, Well, let's get to win you some
- 22:59money, shall we, Lauren. You're gonna be the challenger, so you're
- 23:02gonna be in the first position. Go ahead and give me a k chunk
- 23:03when you're ready chunk. Then you have eighties movies, marijuana, and seventies
- 23:12music, which I'm going seventies music, seventies music says the lady all right
- 23:18for fifty cents in seventies music, Lauren. Nineteen seventy nine Is the Wall
- 23:23by Pink Floyd is a concept album about a bitter, alienated rock star named
- 23:29Pink, in which song is Pink medicated by a doctor so we can perform
- 23:36comfortably. Known is exactly right? Why? Why? Well done? Russ?
- 23:44It's your turn to spend Give me a a chunk? Okay, but
- 23:47can you not ask someone else questions about literally my favorite album of all time.
- 23:53Never I've never been the guy that yells out answers, but I reeled
- 23:59back from my chair. Yes, my bad coach hunk us history, toker
- 24:10and marijuana. I will take the marijuana, the Marrijuana says for a dollar.
- 24:18Russ. Here's your question on marijuana. What slang term for marijuana is
- 24:22also a style of women's shoe that has a strap across the top of the
- 24:26foot. I know this, Mary Jane is absolutely right. Well done.
- 24:33That well done, Well done, Lauren. It's your turn to spin again,
- 24:41and you have US history, marijuana and marijuana. I guess I gotta
- 24:48go with marijuana, don't I know? You're taking the high road? Perfect,
- 24:56Lauren. Here's your question on marijuana. P is a line of cannabis
- 25:02from what Canadian pop star who had a hit twenty twenty one single with the
- 25:07same name. This is more about music than it is about marijuana. And
- 25:15I don't and it's no, I don't know. I don't know this.
- 25:22I don't know this. Give me guess, Give me a guess. Drake,
- 25:26Yeah, Drake is incorrect. Now you can steal it? Is it
- 25:32the beabs? It is justin Bieler, well stolen, sir, it's your
- 25:40spin, So go ahead, and to give me a ko chunk when you're
- 25:42ready. I offer this to you, a kot chunk. Why, thank
- 25:48you, sir, And you get a toker. Seventies music and eighties movies.
- 25:55Shit, I like both of those things. I'm going to go.
- 25:59I'm gonna go eighties movie because if it's seventies music and I don't get it,
- 26:03Lauren's gonna be really mad. All right, Russ for a dollar,
- 26:08here is your question. Real life couple Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner met on
- 26:15the set of What nineteen eighty two comedic mystery film. Yeah, I know
- 26:22this. Oh God, damn it. I'm never gonna come up with it.
- 26:29I'm gonna I'm gonna let Laurence steal it if she knows I know this,
- 26:33and I'm so pissed that I'm not gonna it's not gonna come to me.
- 26:37All right, damn, I'll call time. Lauren. You can steal
- 26:41if you if you know the answer. If even if you have a guess,
- 26:44I give it a shot. It's for a dollar. No, I
- 26:52don't have anything for it either. Do you no answer for me? Either
- 26:55okay, well, nobody wanted Stevie Augy. Do you have an idea?
- 26:57I do OGGI? What do you think it is? Haunted? Honeymoon?
- 27:00No, no, no, con I would have believed him. Yeah,
- 27:07the Moon, I believe myself. The movie they met on was Hanky Panky,
- 27:14Yeah, God, nineteen eighty two. He had like three different documentaries,
- 27:18like one about him, one about her, one about them. You
- 27:22know, yeah, yeah, what about Hanky, one about pink. Lauren,
- 27:27you're up next. Let's see if we can't get you some ketchup herem
- 27:34cotch on b FY tw toker and marijuana. Marijuana again, marijuana. What's
- 27:45the difference? Oh no, all right, marijuana it is, Lauren,
- 27:51here's your question on marijuana. On April twentieth, twenty twelve, the city
- 27:56of Austin, Texas, dedicated a statue to what marijuan want. An advocate
- 28:00and country singer Willie Nelson is exactly right, I tell you, like I
- 28:08had a chance to steal that, like you wouldn't know it. Lauren,
- 28:12You've got one fifty to Russ's two dollars. But Russ, it's your spin,
- 28:18a good joule, and we have us history eighties movies and US history.
- 28:26So it's US history for a dollar or eighties movies for fifty cents.
- 28:30Go with the lower. I would like the eighties moviesies movies. It is
- 28:33all right for fifty cents. Russ. Here is your question on eighties movies.
- 28:38Russ, what Coming of Age nineteen eighty two film includes a famous pool
- 28:42scene that arguably launched Phoebe Kate's career. Oh that's Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
- 28:49It is Fast Times at Ridgement. Oh yeah. I would like to
- 28:56also state on the record that I have not spent any person no time watching
- 29:00that. Oh I'm sure it's that good. Okay, I'm gonna run something
- 29:07tomorrow for reals, I like launched a whole generation of people who enjoyed generate.
- 29:14Almost almost everyone in that movie became a megastar. Stevie Jeff Spaccoli is
- 29:22like you, you absolutely need to watch that. Nix is a song on
- 29:26the soundtrack. And that was Russ's question. So Lauren, it's your turn
- 29:36to Spind's chunk and Lauren gets us history again, marijuana and eighties movies.
- 29:47You know what, give me US history? I get it wrong. Russ
- 29:49will get it right way, I'll get it all right. Interesting interesting tactic
- 29:55here Lauren goes with the US history and here's your question. Lauren, the
- 29:59nineteen nineteen Volstad Act over rode President Woodrow Wilson's veto to what national Act that
- 30:07was later repealed by the twenty first Amendment prohibition motherfuckers is absolutely right, o
- 30:15D I got that, and Russe, it's your spin. I know my
- 30:21booze theory, no one, no one has ever said anything more accurate on
- 30:23the show. Then I'll take US history because if I don't get it,
- 30:30that's so I ain't even mad. And to put an to put an exclamation
- 30:37point on that, I will offer this cutchog Russ gets with his huge good
- 30:41joke. I DW marijuana and marijuana. They're all the same, right again.
- 30:52Yeah, I don't understand how that's not a triple. I have such
- 30:56a limited knowledge of this, but I will try and marriage a wan.
- 31:00Okay, for one dollar? Here's your question on marijuana, Russ. What
- 31:04comic drama TV series starred Mary Louise Parker as a mother of two who sells
- 31:11cannabis to support her family. I hope I'm right, because you can absolutely
- 31:18catch me on this. If it's not plural or singular, weeds is exactly
- 31:22right. I had a friend who was man a show that started so good
- 31:27but ended real bad. Yeah, Lauren's on two dollars, Russ is on
- 31:33three fifty. Lauren, we gotta get some you gotta get some triples here,
- 31:37Lauren, catchup, she says, with authority, and she gets us
- 31:44history again, marijuana again, and seventies music for the first time in a
- 31:48while. I'm one seventies music. Sadly only for fifty cents, but every
- 31:53little bit helps. Here's your question, Lauren in nineteen seventy four, who
- 31:59hit big on the disco charts when he's saying that he can't get enough of
- 32:02your love, babe. It would be very white. It would be very
- 32:07much, absolutely right, and we're back of it. To Russ. Russ,
- 32:13if you get a triple, you could win the game. Give me
- 32:15a big old chunk chunk, and he gets seventies music, Toker and toker.
- 32:25That is a triple. If you are willing to risk it on seventies
- 32:29music, you could win the game. Right, I am willing to risk
- 32:31it. You want to go forward? There? Any you could ask me
- 32:35that question about the wall again. I am afraid not you ask me any
- 32:40question about the wall. But let's see any question. Let's see how you
- 32:45do with this. R Uss. Here is your question for the game in
- 32:49nineteen seventy nine. Where did the village people suggest that you could quote play
- 32:54in sports and skin dive study oceanography. Give you my answer two ways,
- 33:01audibly and visually. The Y M C A is incorrect, Wsry Russ,
- 33:12that is incorrect, Lauren. You can steal if you give me the correct
- 33:15answer. The answer is that is absolutely right. My, my, my,
- 33:27I have what's hoisted by my unble talk Lauren. I hope you enjoyed
- 33:32the hoisting. Lauren, is your turn. You are up four fifty two,
- 33:39three fifty. You just need to cross that five dollars finishing line when
- 33:44you're ready, Lauren, go ahead and give me a good chunk. It's
- 33:47hunk and Lauren gets seventies music, eighties movies, and seventies music for a
- 34:00dollar. Put you into endgame, Lauren. Here here is your question on
- 34:07seventies music. Lauren, No, God, damn it, I'm sorry.
- 34:12Go ahead, Lauren, Lauren, here's your question in nineteen seventy three,
- 34:17Dolly Parton released Joe Lean, a song inspired by a redheaded bank clerk who
- 34:22flirted with her newlywed husband. What word does Dolly use to describe the color
- 34:30of her skin? Oh, oh god, I know. It's auburn hair,
- 34:37ruby lips, eyes of emerald green. You're in ivory? Is that
- 34:45your answer? Yes, it's absolutely right. Okay, Lauren has crossed the
- 34:53five dollars marks. So here's how that's gonna work. Russ. You are
- 34:57at three p fifty, she's at five point fifty. You must get a
- 35:00triple to stay in the game. If you spin anything other than a triple,
- 35:02Lauren instantly wins, choking hawk. Yeah, I know, I know,
- 35:07and also I'm so mad at myself. Go On, I should tell
- 35:12you that when you give me the kerd chunk, it determines what comes up
- 35:15on the wheels. They are randomly spun over time. Yeah. Yeah,
- 35:20basically, so when you pull the handle. So whenever you're ready, give
- 35:23me that kerd chunk and hope for a triple. Okay, good chunk,
- 35:29and he gets us history. No, that's not gonna do it. Bfy
- 35:34tw marijuana. That's not a triple, which means well done, Lauren.
- 35:46You have won this game and five dollars and fifty cents for your charity.
- 35:51Well done, Ray All right, well that's that's nice and fair. One
- 35:54game, apiece. Are you ready for the bonus round? All right,
- 35:59let's face the dragon, and as before, we replaced the categories of money
- 36:01amounts twenty five cents, fifty seventy five dollars dollar, fifty two dollars,
- 36:07as you know. But of course Smoggy's up there somewhere who knows where,
- 36:12and anytime he can end your bonus round. But you can stop at any
- 36:15time and just take the money. And of course we spend a natural triple.
- 36:17It's an instant win. So yeahs a very quick question before that begins.
- 36:22Is it spelled Smoggy or sma ug i e? It's sma u g
- 36:28i e. Yeah, strying to make sure thank you named after our own
- 36:32yes, stoner directs. I thought. All right, Lauren, go ahead
- 36:37and do your first spin whenever you're ready, good junk, Let's see what
- 36:42Lauren gets. You have two dollars. It's a good start. Fifty cents
- 36:46and fifty cents a nice even three bucks to start with. Lauren, do
- 36:53you want to continue or do you want to stop and keep three bucks?
- 36:57That will go one more time at least happens. Get dunk Chunk it is
- 37:01and Lauren gets twenty five cents. Oh well, small showed up. Smoggy
- 37:10showed up right in the middle of that second reel there everywhere you go.
- 37:16Sadly, no money in the bonus round this time, however, you have
- 37:22one and you get to keep oh by always a fifty cents that you want
- 37:25in the main game, and we'll see what you can win in game number
- 37:29three, our final game will break this tie. You have one game apiece,
- 37:36but hopefully one of you can get through to the bonus round and win
- 37:38the bonus hopefully fingers crossed. Knock on wood. We're going to find out

- 40:45your regularly scheduled Madness. Hey, welcome Mack. It's time for our third
- 40:51and final game in our Talker's Wild series of games. Here with Russ and
- 40:55Lauren from the Infectious Groove YouTube channel, and things are going pretty well.
- 41:00Russ has eight dollars and seventy five cents and Lauren has five dollars fifty cents
- 41:06one. They're both playing for the same charity, but they've each won a
- 41:08game. Nobody's won the big bonus yet, so fingers crossed, knock on
- 41:13wood, you get it happened in this third game, But anyway, let's
- 41:16introduce you to the new categories for game three and they are nineties TV bfytw
- 41:22again, books, Dungeons and Dragons and finally Europe so nice the band that's
- 41:35about the song countdown. A nice variety of questions there, I feel categories
- 41:42Lauren as the current champion, you've taken the second position, So Russ,
- 41:45you're actually gonna spin first. I offer you this news coach Chunk chunk,
- 41:51and Russ gets books. Oh no, Europe know or bf y tw bring
- 41:59me the bf all right, anything but books. As before, bfytw,
- 42:05questions are multiple choice because you may not have listened to every single episode we
- 42:09put out, and that's fine, So to make it slightly easier on you,
- 42:14we have multiple choice, such as with this question Russ in episode one,
- 42:17Live at Lil Coon, which bfytw cast member took time out during the
- 42:22show to get pictures taken with some cosplayers. Was it Aaron, Stevie or
- 42:28Augie? Not have a p that could be all three of you. I
- 42:34mean that's a good way. Aggie. Augie is incorrect. Lauren, you
- 42:43can steal it. Was it me or was it Stevie? I think it
- 42:46was the it was me? Well done, but no worries. Russ it
- 42:53was just fifty cents. So Lauren, it's your turn to spend catch chunks
- 43:00and Lauren with her kachunk gets books, nineties TV and a tooker. So
- 43:09nineties TV for a double uh and for nineties TV, Lauren, here's your
- 43:15question for a dollar. Tony Shalhoub played Antonio the cab driver on what long
- 43:21running NBC sitcom Wings Wings is absolutely right with the right and that puts you
- 43:30up to a dollar fifty. Russ, it's back to you. Take a
- 43:32spin good joke bag ka chunk from Russ and he gets Dungeons and Dragons of
- 43:39Europe or toker. Remember you can use the toker to go off the board.
- 43:45But if you take Dungeons and Dragons or Europe, that's a double.
- 43:49What do you want to do off the board with nineties TV? Going off
- 43:53the board with nineties all right, Well, let's see if that pays off
- 43:58for you. Here's your question, Russ. This farcicle behind the scenes take
- 44:02on talk shows starred Gary Shandling and Jeffrey Tambore and debuted on HBO in nineteen
- 44:08ninety two. The I'm gonna be so mad when I know when you say
- 44:16what it is. Hold on, don't time me out, don't do it.
- 44:24Oh god it I love Gary Chandling too, And oh my god,
- 44:29I feel so dumb that I don't remember this. Yeah, I time me
- 44:31out. I am gonna time you out. Yeah, it's been long enough,
- 44:36Lauren. You can steal it if you can tell me what the name
- 44:37of the show is. Larry Sanders is absolutely right. Well again, it
- 44:46was only fifty cents, but she's mounting quite a large total there against you,
- 44:51Russ. Unfortunately for you, it's it's it's Laurens spin Lauren, take
- 44:55it away, not chuck a big old kachunk Lawrence. She gets Europe books
- 45:04and Europe. I gotta go to Europe. Huh. A question on Europe
- 45:09for a dollar. And here is your question, Lauren. Which Italian city
- 45:15is a sister city to Philadelphia? Which Italian city is a sister city to
- 45:23Philadelphia? Well, I hate Philadelpia. Yeah, I don't know. I'm
- 45:37going to take a guess and I'm going to say Milan. Milan is incorrect.
- 45:44Ross. You can steal it if you can give me the correct answer.
- 45:47Cicily, I don't know. Cicily is wrong. Stevie Augie, do
- 45:52you have an ideas raising his hand, It's Florence. It is Florence.
- 45:59It was Florence. Is this city with Philadelphia? I know it's not Palermo.
- 46:05All right, well, no money won there, but it's back both
- 46:08of us real quick. One more time. Philadelphia. Well, no,
- 46:13we have friends there and yeah, very much just a place that Okay,
- 46:22So scoreboard currently stands. Russ has nothing, Lauren has two dollars. Russ
- 46:25is time to mount mount a comeback. Let's go a chunk, but the
- 46:31questioning could chunk for us? Gets books tooker there and dungeons and dragons.
- 46:39That was the basest books dragons. There's a lot of books too, ship
- 46:46so much reading with the words go off the board with TV I got,
- 46:54oh wow, even though it did not work out for you last time,
- 46:58he's going to win, all right, well maybe this one will work better
- 47:01for you. Here's your question, Russ. What police drama starring Dennis Franz
- 47:06and David Caruso began its twelve season run in nineteen ninety three. That's what
- 47:12I know. Blue is right, absolutely right, Well done, Lauren,
- 47:19it's your spin. Good jobs. Lauren gets dungeons and Dragons, Toker,
- 47:28and Europe. Oh, I'm gonna go Europe again again. All right for
- 47:34a dollar, here's your question on Europe, Lauren, Which European capital city
- 47:39is served by Tegel Airport? Spelled Tegel? What European capital city is served
- 47:49by Tegel Airport? I'm gonna go Warsaw. Warsaw is incorrect, Russ.
- 47:55You can steal a dollar if you can tell me what Europeans capital city is
- 48:00served by Tagel Airport? Moscow? For no reason? Correct answer? Well,
- 48:07Stevie Rocky, you don't you don't look at Uh this surprised me at
- 48:12least it's Berlin. Berlinter enough anyway, Uh, no harm, no foul.
- 48:22Really, it's back to Russ with another spin. Good chunk. You
- 48:30got Toker, dungeons and dragons and books. Really, why won't it read?
- 48:40I'm gonna go nineties TV again, got it? All right? We
- 48:49do have a finite number of nineties TV questions. I'm just telling you,
- 48:53Uh, your question, take it books out, all right, here's your
- 48:57question, Russ. Samuel L. Jackson appeared on this show about a group
- 49:02of kids who solved mysteries with the assistance of a supernatural being. So that's
- 49:12stice huh, I'm gonna I don't shit, God damn it. What I
- 49:23don't know goose bumps. No, no, that's incorrect, not goosebumps.
- 49:29Lauren. You can steal the fifty cents if you can tell me what TV
- 49:32show Samuel Jackson appeared on about a group of kids who solved mysteries with the
- 49:37assistance of a supernatural being. Yeah. I don't know this either, and
- 49:40I feel I'm going to kick myself when you it's assuredly not Shining time Station.
- 49:45So no, yeah, you might kick yourselves. I don't know Stevie
- 49:51or Augy any guesses. I thought it was a special Scooby Doo episode.
- 49:55No, no, no, no, this is this is it's a one
- 50:00where Scooby across the Rainbow Bridge. No, no, no, the the
- 50:07TV show I was talking about Ghostwriter. God, I forgot about that.
- 50:14I was gonna say, remember that show. Samuel L. Jackson was on
- 50:15it. I don't remember him being unbelievable. Yeah, I had no idea
- 50:20it was even on that show. But anyway, all right, so we're
- 50:23back over to Lauren, who ken spin something other than books in D and
- 50:28D. Lauren, give us a spin when you're ready, coach, and
- 50:35we have toker h Y t W and Europe. I keep getting Europe though,
- 50:42and I keep getting it wrong. I'm gonna go Europe again though.
- 50:46Both a little stubborn, aren't they. We'll find out. Lauren. Here's
- 50:57your question on Europe, unrelated to internet memes. In what European city would
- 51:02you find the dog's palace? Well, that's funny. I also don't know
- 51:09the answer. Say Madrid, Madrid is incorrect. Uh, Russ. You
- 51:19can steal a dollar if you can tell me what European city can you find
- 51:22the dog's palace? It can't has an answer? Yeah, I know Poland.
- 51:30Well, I was asking for a city, not a country, but
- 51:34that's and I guess it's probably not, No, sir, the correct answer
- 51:39was Venice. I was thinking somewhere out towards Spain. Okay, so we
- 51:45are back to us again, Russ. Categories and questions lined up because the
- 51:51Holy Ship running the first went so well, b F Y t W,
- 52:00Europe and nineties TV. Surprisingly, I'm gonna try TV because it's worked so
- 52:08well for you so far. Yeah. I spent a fazing watch seven choose
- 52:15books and it's like where's Waldo or something? Yeah, yeah, I know
- 52:19there are easy and hard questions in all of these. We drove through Waldo,
- 52:22Florida yesterday. It was awesome. Right, Well, I'm glad somebody
- 52:27finally found Waldo. All right, Russ, here's your question. In nineteen
- 52:30ninety, Kathleen Bradley became the first African American model on What Show? The
- 52:38prices right is correct? Who? It's fifty cents? Yeah, still four
- 52:52dollars away? And I have like three or four nineties TV questions left.
- 52:57Laurence, Lauren, it's your space, kachunk. And with Lawrence Kachunk she
- 53:05gets dungeons and dragons, tooker, oh, and books. So that looks
- 53:09like a rustin. You're gonna go with books, Lauren? I could read,
- 53:17uh, Lauren, here is your question on books. What famous character
- 53:22created by h A and Margaret Ray first appeared in the children's book Cecily G
- 53:29and the Nine Monkeys. I understand all of those words. I'll reread it
- 53:37because Aggie is having an attack of some kind. What what famous character created
- 53:43by h A and Margaret Ray first appeared in the children's book Cecily G and
- 53:49the Nine Monkeys. I'm going to go with curious George is the right answer.
- 53:57The clue is right there in the title nine monkeys. How many famous
- 54:00monkey characters can you think of? Like an outbreak or something night monkeys?
- 54:06Man, I hated that monkey. Lauren has three dollars, Russ, you
- 54:08have one dollars. Time to catch up, brother, right, good talk
- 54:15with authority and he gets Dungeons and Dragons again. Nineties TV and books.
- 54:22It's fifty nineties TV again. All right, I am going to run out
- 54:28of these, Russ. Here's your question on nineties TV? What Fresh Prince
- 54:31of bel Air cast member also start in the NBC and upn sitcom in the
- 54:37House with ll cool J starting in its third season. What Fresh Prince of
- 54:45bel Air cast member also starred in the House with ll cool J starting in
- 54:51its third season. This is a guess, Alfon is the right answer?
- 54:57Good? Ye, yeah, nice? That's commercial was in the money?
- 55:06All right? It's a dollar fifty three dollars, Lauren, it's your turn.
- 55:09I'm not gonna come back. Lauren gets books. She gets Europe and
- 55:16b F Y t W books. Books. It is for fifty cents.
- 55:22And here is your question, Lauren on books. A large portion of what
- 55:29two thousand and one Ian Martell novel features the title character trapped on a lifeboat
- 55:37with Richard Parker. What is it? You and I have the same idea
- 55:43until said one thing, and then it's not a thing. My aunt is
- 55:47going to be the same regardless. I'm just gonna go ahead and say,
- 55:50life of Pie. It's shut up, is the correct answer. Yeah.
- 55:58I deliberately wrote that to be tricky. That tiger's name is Richard Parker.
- 56:01Oh yeah, the tiger's name is Richard Parker oddly has a huge I've only
- 56:07ever seen or heard of that through Blu Ray demos. Yeah. Pie,
- 56:13that my main characters. So there's no actual Pies is a name, it's
- 56:17his life. There's no TV. The movie does not is not about any
- 56:22kind of fruit pie or meat pie or none of that. My man said.
- 56:27My man said, there's no actual Piet and I'm sure Catering had some
- 56:34on set, but I mean, honestly, poor Stevie. All right,
- 56:40So the scores are Russ has a dollar fifty, Lauren has three fifty.
- 56:44Russ, give me a triple, man, it's time to lay a triple
- 56:46grid. Just go ahead and get and he gets books again, Dungeons and
- 56:54his favorite. I want to say so, I think this is rigged.
- 57:16I'm gonna I think a white males I get in the short end of sick
- 57:22all the time. Oh dear God, please please don't become that guy.
- 57:30I love you too much to let you become that guy. I'm gonna said
- 57:38that in a move. And I hope that everyone listening and in attendance has
- 57:44their back spraced because I am going to shock everyone and pick. Also,
- 57:52I hope that you're able to use Wikipedia quick because you're going to need other
- 57:54questions. Yeah, I'm gonna be in trouble, Russ. Here's your question
- 57:59on nineties two? What nineties TV show was originally about Denise Huxtable in her
- 58:04transition to college life, until Lisa Bonnet became pregnant and the show became instead
- 58:09about Whitley Gilbert and her relationship with Dwayne. A Different World is exactly right.
- 58:15I love I feel that's a very good show. It's crazy uderrated.
- 58:22Yeah, well done. You are at two dollars, Lauren. It's your
- 58:28spin got Chong and Lauren gets books bfytw and a tooker. Look, she
- 58:38doesn't end up with goddamn does into dragons every time. More books for Lauren
- 58:45for a dollar. Here is your question on books, Lauren. Henry David
- 58:49Throau wrote about life in the Woods of Massachusetts in what eighteen fifty four work
- 58:53of non fiction John Walden. I have google it just to make sure,
- 59:00and Lauren, I cannot accept your Russ. If you can give me the
- 59:06abstual correct title of the book, I will give you the dollar. The
- 59:10only other thing I know is Walden Woods, but that's also wrong according to
- 59:15your face. That is also not the exact title I was looking for any
- 59:21point for he is a day the book is the book is simply called Walden
- 59:27Damn. That's it. Potential jeopardy rules would have given it to me because
- 59:31I said the right answer. I just right jeopardy Okay, I'm no care.
- 59:37Yeah, I didn't know how to react when you didn't have the exact
- 59:39title of the book. So anyway, Uh, nobody got it right.
- 59:44Move on. Nobody got it right, So let's just move on. It
- 59:46is Russ's spin lightly to chunkson gets b f y t W. That's different
- 59:54books, that's not different and toker y t w. Oh he's gone b
- 1:00:00fy tw for a dollar. I go for those risks now. It is
- 1:00:02a multiple choice question, and here you go, Russ. On episode eighty
- 1:00:07one, the Ultra Hope Girls won two hundred and seventy five dollars playing the
- 1:00:12list, cinching their victory with a final round list in what category? Was
- 1:00:17it the human body, airports or Shakespeare? First of all, congratulations to
- 1:00:24them. That's a crazy amount of awesome money. It was. It was
- 1:00:28a wild episode in Shane. I have the human body just for no reason,
- 1:00:37for the right reason. That's absolutely correct. Yeah, it was the
- 1:00:44human body. Russ has three dollars to come back of the century. It
- 1:00:47could be, could be. We're still playing, Lauren. It's your spend
- 1:00:52a big old ka chunk and Lauren gets a choker bfy tw and books.
- 1:01:00Guess what books? All right? For a door? Lauren? Here is
- 1:01:07your question on books, Lauren. Draco Dormian's non qualm titilandas a Latin phrase
- 1:01:14meaning never tickle a sleeping dragon is the official motto for what fictional place of
- 1:01:21learning howarts is exactly right, the only place that makes sense. I never
- 1:01:28have guessed that, Russ, you have three dollars. But Lauren is just
- 1:01:31right on the edge of getting that five dollars, so we need a big
- 1:01:35spin. Best of luck, Oh, Trunk, no joker, and Europe.
- 1:01:51I'm not going to know, but I'm going to do it anyways.
- 1:01:55You're you're doing the Europe question for two dollars. Okay, I'm not gonna
- 1:02:00know this, but I'm gonna do it anyway. If Russ gets this correct,
- 1:02:04he will have hit five dollars, which is enough to trigger the endgame.
- 1:02:07But Lauren does get a final spin. All right, Russ, here
- 1:02:10is your question, fingers crossed, best of luck for two dollars on Europe.
- 1:02:16Saltzburg is a city in what European country Saltzburg spelled s A l z
- 1:02:24b U r G Germany. Is that your answer? That is my answer?
- 1:02:31That is incorrect. I'm afraid Lauren. You can win the game right
- 1:02:36now. If you can tell me what European country Saltzburg is in Austria,
- 1:02:42You've won the game. Very well done. Wow, that's excellent. Oh
- 1:02:59sorryry Russ. We have the same charity. Listen, we are playing for
- 1:03:04the same charity, so it's all it's a good fun but you have won
- 1:03:07eight dollars and seventy five cents for that charity. So that's great, Lauren.
- 1:03:12With your five point fifty from the previous game, you now have won
- 1:03:15twelve dollars for your charity. But let's see if we can get you a
- 1:03:17whole lot more. So we're going to play the bonus around a third and
- 1:03:20final time. Once again, the category have been replaced with dollar amounts twenty
- 1:03:23five, fifty, seventy. You know the drill, and of course behind
- 1:03:28one of the reels, just one bad right there, that son of son
- 1:03:34of a bee is hiding, waiting to end your game and take everything away.
- 1:03:37Hopefully he doesn't show up this time. You will, but it is
- 1:03:40random, so fingers crossed a knock on wood. So Lauren, go ahead
- 1:03:46and take your first spin. Get us started, good, Chunk, And
- 1:03:51with Lauren's kod Chunk, we have two dollars, a great start, seventy
- 1:03:54five cents and fifty cents, so for a total of three twenty five.
- 1:04:01Do you want to stop there? Do you want to stop there? Keep
- 1:04:04going? Okay, go for it, Chunk, and Lauren gets a dollar,
- 1:04:11fifty, a dollar and another dollar. Well, you're up to six
- 1:04:17seventy five, you're three yeah, five away? You want to go for
- 1:04:20it? Uh we I what now you say? Do you want to take
- 1:04:25the six seventy five and quit or do you want to go for it your
- 1:04:29three dollars? Sorry Russ is saying quit because I don't. I got burned.
- 1:04:36Who you use? Who wears who wears the pants in your relationship?
- 1:04:41Be honest, honestly, neither of us are wearing pants right now. Podcast,
- 1:04:48that's equated? Go on? Oh man, see no, you know
- 1:04:55what, I'm definitely going to stop because I know if I go on more
- 1:04:57that little smoky yogi dragon is going to show up. He'll mess up your
- 1:05:00day, exac like, I've got one more against my better judgment. And
- 1:05:08you know, I think we're over at least twenty dollars for this together between
- 1:05:11the two of us. So I'm fine with it. Okay, all right,
- 1:05:13And so final answer, you're stopping there? That is correct, sir?
- 1:05:16All right? Well, then congratulations you have won six dollars and seventy
- 1:05:20five cents. Yeah, we are going to add that to the twelve dollars
- 1:05:25that you won in the previous game, and that brings you Lauren up to
- 1:05:29a grand total of eighteen dollars and seventy five cents. And yes, when
- 1:05:32we add Russ's winnings to that for Music Cares, they will be getting a
- 1:05:36donation of if my math is correct, twenty seven dollars and fifty cents.
- 1:05:45Well done, Smoggie was hiding under the left window if anybody cares. But
- 1:05:48congratulations once again to our winner, Lauren, and I want to thank you
- 1:05:57so much for trying out this new this new program with us. We've had
- 1:06:01our ups and downs with getting it to work properly, but otherwise I'd say
- 1:06:04we've had a great time. I know, I this has been so much
- 1:06:09fun. Yeah, I can't. Oh poor Russ every single time, every
- 1:06:16three time, books and D and D every time. Okay, I'm not
- 1:06:24saying it's rare. It's not. It's not. It's not saying. But
- 1:06:30also, you know, you know, I know what I did. I
- 1:06:34know exactly what I did. I know I I yes, I'm not I'm
- 1:06:38not saying it's rigged. But I hope you can sleep tonight. Absolutely can
- 1:06:43I will sleep sound as it bound. Maybe not me, that's Smaggy's gonna
- 1:06:49hat my dreams. Well, I have to thank Russ and Lauren for being
- 1:06:55a great part of our two hundredth episode. Thank you so much, so
- 1:06:59much. One again. By the way, two hundred is like people don't
- 1:07:02understand in the podcast world. That's a enormous milestone. And y'all have been
- 1:07:09bringing the fun and the laughs and everything for that long. It's a very
- 1:07:13hard thing to do what y'all did, and it's awesome. Here's to two,
- 1:07:16three, four hundred more. Yeah, that's the plan. Yeah,
- 1:07:23And the fun part is even though I complained about running out of nineties TV
- 1:07:26show questions, I still have a ton of questions from all the other things.
- 1:07:29So this absolutely could become a thing again. So we'll see it further
- 1:07:32down the line. We'll have more. See you have other D and D
- 1:07:35questions or book questions somehow, oh yeah, somehow, somehow. Even though
- 1:07:41he came up almost every single single he was sitting here sating for somebody.
- 1:07:45He told me way before, like, oh, I can't wait for you
- 1:07:48to see some of these questions. You're gonna be like what. I never
- 1:07:53saw a single one. Anyway. I have to thank Lauren and Russ,

- 1:09:21I think I'm still gonna what's wanting to say, Roy, These three
- 1:09:38players are after low stakes, but that will have to avoid this Stevie as
- 1:09:42they play the most overblown and ridiculous game of their lives from podcast City on
- 1:09:47the Internet. Heads time to tape your Chances, and here is your host.
- 1:09:56It's the same guy from before you Know, the same one Pensiler.
- 1:10:03Thank you, Crunchy, and welcome to Take Your Chances Game two of episode
- 1:10:09two hundred. I have with me here as always running the sound and gonna
- 1:10:15be here for commentary and for playfulness. It's Stevie and Augie. Of course
- 1:10:19hey by celebrating our two hundred episode, and to help us celebrator two hundred
- 1:10:26episode, We're gonna play Take Your Chances, the game of surveys, trivia,
- 1:10:31fat stacks, and big prizes, and we're gonna see our contestents do
- 1:10:35with us as we've invited for all of our games. For this episode,
- 1:10:41our people who we feel have contributed the most to our show over the years
- 1:10:45and starting way back in episode seven. This pair has been on several of
- 1:10:51our episodes. It's Andy and Karen from Defiant Monkey Feel Old from seven to
- 1:11:00two hundred, way back when we were recording in Hore's apartment now and we
- 1:11:08had David hayteron for a very special celebrity episode. It was a lot of
- 1:11:13fun. But thank you so much for everything you've done over the years.
- 1:11:18Excited to have you back for episode one ninety six and now two hundred as
- 1:11:24well. And very shortly we're going to play Take your Chances and hopefully you'll
- 1:11:28win some money for your charity as well as possibly prizes for yourselves. Do
- 1:11:32you know what charities you're playing for? Yes? Okay, thank you,
- 1:11:39That's all I needed. And of course our returning champion, returning returning return
- 1:11:46who won fifty seven to fifty for her charity last time. It's Kyla Maybe.
- 1:11:54Yeah, I'm very very thankful that World Central Kitchen got my contribution because
- 1:11:58of my win. Yeah. Are you sticking with the same charity? Sure?
- 1:12:06It's This is the first time we've ever had a returning champion come back
- 1:12:12for any of our games. I think get out all right? Well,
- 1:12:18the game is very simple. We're going to play a game of surveys.
- 1:12:23I'm going to give you the choice of two possible subjects to which there is
- 1:12:29a survey, and I'm going to ask you, like, for example,
- 1:12:30what percentage of Americans believe in ghosts? And you're going to tell me what
- 1:12:35percentage you think it is. If you are within twenty points high or low,
- 1:12:41you'll earn one chance. If you're within ten points higher low, you'll
- 1:12:44earn two chances. If you're within five points higher low, you'll earn three
- 1:12:47chances. If you're dead on four chances. And once you've given your number,
- 1:12:54the other players are going to get a chance to guess whether the actual
- 1:12:57percentage is higher or lower than what you picked. If they're right, they'll
- 1:13:00earn one chance apiece. Ready, let's get started. Andy, Your choices
- 1:13:06of subjects are artificial intelligence or movies. Which survey would you like to try?
- 1:13:13I'll go with movies. Movies, alex So under the movies category.
- 1:13:18According to a June twenty twenty three survey by you gov, what percentage of
- 1:13:23Americans say that their primary method of paying to watch films is through an online
- 1:13:29streaming service. What percentage of Americans say their primary method of paying to watch
- 1:13:34movies is through an online streaming service of pain. Yes, it's online streaming
- 1:13:42service. Oh man, oh fifty two? Fifty two? Sure, any
- 1:13:49particular reason why that number? None? Whatsoever? Okay, just pick the
- 1:13:55number and open for the best. Karen, do you think the actual percentage
- 1:13:59is high or lower than fifty two? Higher? Higher? She says,
- 1:14:03Kyla, do you think it's higher lower than fifty two? I'm going to
- 1:14:05go lower. Okay, Well, the actual percentage of Americans who say their
- 1:14:11primary method of paying to watch films through online streaming is sixty three percent.
- 1:14:17Andy is within twenty, but not within ten. So Andy gets one chance.
- 1:14:23Karen was correct and gains one chance. Kyla picked lower, unfortunately wrong.
- 1:14:28Nothing to do, but there's plenty of surveys. There's plenty of surveys
- 1:14:31left. How that field returning champion? I need my ego check. There's
- 1:14:36plenty of surveys left. Karen, you're up next. Would you like relationships
- 1:14:42or romance novels? Oh, let's go romance novels. Romance novels. It
- 1:14:45is According to a November twenty twenty three U survey by you gov, what
- 1:14:50percentage of Americans who voted for Trump in the twenty twenty election say that they
- 1:14:57have read the book Fifty Shades of Gray sixty nine percent. Dude, sixty
- 1:15:03nine percent of Trump voters have read Fifty Shades of Gray. Yes, it's
- 1:15:09got small words, Kyla, do you think the actual percentage is higher or
- 1:15:15lower than sixty nine percent? I'm going to go lower because I think a
- 1:15:19lot of them probably won't understand the question. Okay, Andy, what do
- 1:15:24you think I'm actually going lower as well? Okay, well, I can
- 1:15:27tell you the actual percentage of Americans who voted for Trump in the twenty twenty
- 1:15:30election who have read Fifty Shades of Gray is eighteen percent. Sorry, Karen,
- 1:15:35they have to be able to read. First. How many said they
- 1:15:40read it. It's how many said they read it, So I think lot
- 1:15:44did. Karen was not within the twenty points necessary to get any chances,
- 1:15:47but Kyla and Andy were both correct. They both get a chance. Well
- 1:15:51done, Kyla, it is your turn. Will do my best. Would
- 1:15:55you like Stephen King or sleep? Sleep? Please? It is we would
- 1:16:01all like our sleep. I'm an expert at sleep, all right, Kyla.
- 1:16:05According to an August twenty twenty three survey by you gov. What percentage
- 1:16:10of Americans say that they get at least seven hours of sleep per night on
- 1:16:15average? I'd say thirty three percent. Thirty three percent, says Kyla.
- 1:16:19Andy, what do you think? Do you think the actual percentage is higher
- 1:16:23or lower than thirty three percent? Higher Karen's. Karen also says higher.
- 1:16:29The actual percentage of Americans who say they get at least seven hours of sleep
- 1:16:31per night on average is fifty one, right in the middle. So Kyla
- 1:16:39is within the twenty points. She gets a chance, and Karen and Andy
- 1:16:43are both right. They both get an additional chance as well. All right,
- 1:16:45Peo will be sleeping. Everybody had a survey, so we're going to
- 1:16:50go back down the line for one more shot. Andy, would you like
- 1:16:55Taylor Swift or conspiracies? Conspiracies? Andy? According to a November twenty twenty
- 1:17:04three you gov survey, what percentage of Americans say there is a single group
- 1:17:10of people who secretly control world events and rule the world together. What percentage
- 1:17:15of Americans say the Illuminati exists? Say it, don't believe it? Say
- 1:17:23it? Difference? They said yes when asked the question, is there a
- 1:17:27group of people who secretly control will the rule's getting nuts. I'm going to
- 1:17:30say sixty sixty percent, okay, Karen. Do you think the actual percentage
- 1:17:35is higher or lower than sixty percent? I hope it's lower, lower,
- 1:17:40says Karen. Kyla. Do you think it's higher or lower than sixty the
- 1:17:43lower or as well? The actual percentage of Americans who say there is a
- 1:17:47single group of people who secretly control world events and rule the world together is
- 1:17:53forty one percent. Horrifying. Andy is just is just within the twenty that
- 1:18:00he gets a chance, and Karen and Kyler were both correct and gain a
- 1:18:03chance a piece nearly half many. That's crazy, Karen, would you like
- 1:18:11artificial intelligence or relationships? Oh? Relationships? Okay. According to a November
- 1:18:18twenty twenty three survey by you gov, what percentage of American men say they
- 1:18:24spend at least an hour every day socializing with other people? At least an
- 1:18:30hour every day American men? Oh, I'd like to do sixty nine,
- 1:18:34but I'll just I'll say it's lower than that. We'll go forty two.
- 1:18:40Forty two, yes, please, says Karen and Kyla. Do you think
- 1:18:44it's higher or lower than forty two? Most of the men I know are
- 1:18:47social animals, will go higher, go higher, Andy, I'm going to
- 1:18:51go lower. I'm going to go lower. All right. I can tell
- 1:18:55you that according to the survey by you Gov, the percentage of American men
- 1:18:58who say they spend at least an hour every day socializing with other people is
- 1:19:02twenty one percent. Karen is sadly twenty one points out and just misses out.
- 1:19:13Kyla was wrong and gets nothing. Andy gets another chance. O bam,
- 1:19:18all right, And the final survey is Kyla's would you like Stephen King
- 1:19:24or Taylor Swift? Let's go Stephen King, Stephen King. That's a couple
- 1:19:28I want to see. According to a twenty twenty two you Go survey,
- 1:19:32what percentage of Americans who say they've read at least one Stephen King book said
- 1:19:39that they have read The Shining? What percentage of Stephen King readers said they
- 1:19:45have read The Shining. I'm gonna go twenty five percent, twenty five all
- 1:19:50right, Andy, Andy says higher very quickly, Karen, do you think
- 1:19:56higher or lower than twenty five percent? Yeah, I'd like to stay higher.
- 1:20:00Okay, Well, the actual percentage of Americans who read Stephen King books
- 1:20:04and say they have read the shining is forty one percent, So Kyla is
- 1:20:10within the twenty points. She gains a chance. And both Andy and Karen
- 1:20:14were correct and each gain a chance. And that's it for our first round
- 1:20:17of questions. Everybody has chances for them to go. Karen has four chances,
- 1:20:24Kyla has four chances, and Andy has six big chances. They're gonna
- 1:20:28take those chances to the big board after this short break, and here we
- 1:20:33are, it's time for round one of take your chances. There's over two
- 1:20:39hundred dollars in cash and prizes up there, just waiting for our players to
- 1:20:42claim it. All I have to do is stop the board like this,
- 1:20:45stop and hopefully they'll land on money like I did. I hit five dollars
- 1:20:48fifty. But you also notice a very familiar face up there. Point there
- 1:20:56are Stev's up there. If you land on a CV, he will take
- 1:20:59all your money prizes and claim it's for a reason that he will then explain
- 1:21:03to you, so you want to avoid him as much as possible. There
- 1:21:08are also actual prizes up there. If you land on those, they don't
- 1:21:12go to your charity, they go to you. If you managed to hang
- 1:21:14on to them at the end of the game, and whoever has whoever has
- 1:21:18the most money in prizes in their score at the end of this round,
- 1:21:23is going to go last in the second round, which is a serious advantage.
- 1:21:26We're going to start with the player who has the fewest spins. There's
- 1:21:29a tie between Karen and Kylos, so the player on my left, Karen,
- 1:21:31you're going to go first. You have four chances. Would you like
- 1:21:34to take them or pass them? If you pass them, they go to
- 1:21:38the player with the most money, currently a tie, so you would choose
- 1:21:42try. I'm just explaining, just explaining the rules. Would you like to
- 1:21:46take your chances? Go for it? Whenever you're ready, Just hip that
- 1:21:51button and stop Stevie's that's Karen instantly hits the highest value spot on the board
- 1:22:01at instant first place. Three more, three more chances. What would you
- 1:22:04like to do? Oh, I know it's a lot of money, but
- 1:22:08I'd like to slap this button again. Then slap away, no stee no
- 1:22:15STGs. Stop at two dollars. Nice, go up to seventeen, still
- 1:22:23first place, Still two chances left. What would you like to do?
- 1:22:25Get a bag of gummies? I think I think I want to spin again.
- 1:22:30I'm going to take my chances. All right, Then that's a lot.
- 1:22:33There's a lot of Stee's up there. Stevie's Stevie's stop at five dollars
- 1:22:42twenty two dollars, still first place, Still one spin. Well, I
- 1:22:45think I'll pass my spind because I wanted to try to do that too.
- 1:22:48Who would you like to pass to? Oh well, let's shunt it along
- 1:22:55to Kyla. All right, Kayla, one pass spin that you have to
- 1:23:00take? Ready, sure, here you go, Hope, it's a gift.
- 1:23:03Stevie's Stevie's No Stevie Stop stop It moved to spaces to five dollars,
- 1:23:08second place, seventeen dollars short of Karen, four chances left. What do
- 1:23:15you want to do? I want to spend stop stop at six dollars you
- 1:23:24have half of when Karen has eleven dollars, three chances left. What do
- 1:23:27you want to do? I want to spend step stop at three dollars fourteen
- 1:23:36dollars, eight dollars shy of Karen, two chances left. Go for it.
- 1:23:43I gonna spend Stevie's no Stevie's stop stop at a pair of flygs.
- 1:23:51Those two flags are valued at six dollars, brings you up to twenty.
- 1:23:55You are two dollars shy of Karen. One chance leg I'm going with it.
- 1:24:00Yeah, that's the luck. Stop it five dollars wells first place and

- 1:26:45twenty. First place is Karen with twenty two dollars in her second round.
- 1:26:50It's a serious advantage. Hope it pays off for you. In the meanwhile,
- 1:26:55we're going to take a short break. When we come back, we're
- 1:26:58going to play another round of trivia, and then they're gonna take those chances
- 1:27:00of the big board one more time, and we're gonna see who wins and
- 1:27:04takes home hopefully a fat amount of cash for their charity, as well as
- 1:27:08some nice presents for themselves. We'll find out, we'll see it right after
- 1:27:11this. That's a good drink, hey, listeners, Is it me or
- 1:27:26do these games shows seem oddly familiar? Oh well, never mind, Daddy
- 1:27:31likes a drinking anyway. So it's time for another trivia break. While I
- 1:27:34have this little boozy three seconds answer each question. Don't forget question number one,
- 1:27:42which of the following has never been the theme for a themed episode.
- 1:27:45B F y tw Is it a wrestling B Dancy Drew or C Muffy the
- 1:27:53Vampire Slayer? Three two one? Correct time three B Nancy Drew. Question
- 1:28:02number two, who is so far the only person to win an episode of
- 1:28:09pole Position? Is it A Lauren from Beer Dal, B Richie from Supermedia
- 1:28:15Bros. Or C Matt from Gate Leaders three to who one? The correct
- 1:28:25answer was see Matt from Gate Leaders. Your final question for this portion?

- 1:28:54Las Vegas Viva. Then B F. Whitew bursts Right, I got WISP.
- 1:29:00See you want the third one? Welcome back. It's time for our
- 1:29:06second round of trivia. This is called Stevie's Trivia Bomb. I'm gonna give
- 1:29:12our players two sets of multiple choice answers. They will decide from those answers
- 1:29:17which one they would like to try, and once they've chosen the set,
- 1:29:21I will then give them a question to which one of those four answers is
- 1:29:25the correct answer the other three are all wrong. And imagine if you will,
- 1:29:30that all the answers are wires connected to a bomb. You need to
- 1:29:33cut the three incorrect answers to safely diffuse the bomb. Every time you cut
- 1:29:40an incorrect answer, you'll get a chance. If you cut all three incorrect
- 1:29:43answers, you gain four chances. Beware, however, if at any time
- 1:29:46you cut the correct answer, the bomb will go off and your turn will
- 1:29:50end. Your life will continue, but your turn will end, and you
- 1:29:57all have white words because before the player picks any of the answers to cut,
- 1:30:01the other two are going to write down what they think the correct answer
- 1:30:04is. And if you're right, you'll earn an extra chance for yourself.
- 1:30:08All right, No, I do have a question. Yeah, if the
- 1:30:11bomb goes off, do you lose any chances you've know? You keep everything
- 1:30:14you've earned up until that one. No? No, no no. So
- 1:30:19we're going to start with Andy, Karen and Kyla get your white birds ready,
- 1:30:25and Andy, your choices are Half Life, Metroid Halo or Mega man
- 1:30:32or Arizona Colorado, Montana, New Mexico. Which one of those two sets
- 1:30:40would you like to try. Oh, let's go with the first one.
- 1:30:43Okay. Here is your question of Half Life, Metroid, Halo, and
- 1:30:48Mega Man. What video game franchises? Protagonist's early design was nicknamed Even the
- 1:30:57Space Biker by its developer. And Karen and Kyla please write down in secret
- 1:31:02what you think The correct answer is Half Life, Metroid, Halo or Mega
- 1:31:09Man. And once you both have your answers written down, I'll ask Andy
- 1:31:12to start cutting. All right, looks like they're done. Andy cut an
- 1:31:15incorrect answer. Please, let's get rid of Halo. You're good. You're
- 1:31:24good. That's an incorrect answer. One down, two to go. Okay,
- 1:31:29And the nickname again was IV in the Space Biker. I've in the
- 1:31:32Space Biker. Let's get rid of Half Life. Sorry? Yeah, the
- 1:31:44Half Life protagonist Gordon Freeman was nicknamed Ivan the Space Biker while in development.
- 1:31:49I imagine he looked somewhat different. But yeah, but you did successfully cut
- 1:31:55one incorrect answer, So that's one chance for Andy. Did either of you
- 1:32:00write down Half Life? Kyla said Mega Man? Oh, Karen, Karen
- 1:32:10snags a free chance. Well done. All right, Karen, here are
- 1:32:15your sets of answers, and Andy and Kyla get ready to write down on
- 1:32:19your whiteboard. Karen, you may choose from blood red, magenta, neon
- 1:32:26pink, and turquoise, or Adam West, Bob Kane, Lewis Wilson,
- 1:32:32and Robert Lowry. Well all the colors. You want to go with the
- 1:32:39colors? Yes, fair enough? All right? Andy and Kyla get ready
- 1:32:43to write down what you think the correct answer is to this, what color
- 1:32:46are the arches at the McDonald's in Sedona, Arizona? Blood red, magenta,
- 1:32:55neon pink or turquoise? And once you both got the answer, okay,
- 1:33:00Andy looks like he's not done. Nope, he's rewriting. I just
- 1:33:03made Okay, you're done. Okay, Karen. Cut an incorrect answer,
- 1:33:10please, blood red, magenta, neon pink, or turquoise. Cut blood
- 1:33:15red. You're safe. Blood red is incorrect. That is one chance.
- 1:33:21This is stressful. Right, Cut another incorrect answer. I'm going to cut
- 1:33:29magenta. Well done, that is safe. That is another chance. You
- 1:33:35have two for four chances. Cut the last incorrect answer neon pink for turquoise.
- 1:33:42I'm cutting neon pink. You've done it. You've done it, absolutely
- 1:33:50right. The correct answer is turquoise. Karen gets a whopping four chances,
- 1:33:58But Kyla and Andy both got it right and get a chance of being I
- 1:34:00knew the taco bell had an interesting color, so I'm thinking the city officials
- 1:34:06of Sonana believe the traditional bright yellow would clash with the natural red rocks that
- 1:34:12surround the city, so they had him change it. That makes sense.
- 1:34:15Absolutely Well done, Karen, Well done, Kyla. It is your turn.
- 1:34:20Would you like Apollo thirteen, Batman Forever, Freddy got Fingered and speed
- 1:34:28or Christopher Robin, your Piglet and Tigger. Let's go corner? Who's corner?
- 1:34:33All right? Andy and Karen get ready to write down what you think
- 1:34:36is the correct answer to this The voice actor for which Winnie the Pooh cartoon
- 1:34:42character holds the patent for one of the first artificial heart devices ever made.
- 1:34:47Christopher Robin, or Piglet or t Tigger, write down what you think is
- 1:34:54the correct answer, and just look at me when you're done. I think
- 1:34:59I'm ready. I'm ready to get this TV and are just both taking their
- 1:35:01head like I don't understand the questions. The voice actor for which Winnie the
- 1:35:06Poop cartoon character also holds the patent for one of the first artificial art devices.
- 1:35:13Andy and Karen have finished writing. Kyla cut an incorrect answer. Please.
- 1:35:18I think he's too flaty, so I'm gonna take take her out.
- 1:35:20Okay. Sorry. His name was Paul Winchell, and he worked with the
- 1:35:34University of Utah to develop one of the first artificial heart devices ever made.
- 1:35:40Andy and Karen, did you have that or no? Because I have no
- 1:35:43idea who does this? Okay? I figured he grew up. Sadly,
- 1:35:49no chances for Kyla or Andy or Karen on this one. All right,
- 1:35:54we're gonna We're gonna move back over to Angie. You'll all get more chances
- 1:35:59to earn more chances. Get ready to write down what you think is the
- 1:36:02correct answer to whatever Andy selects Andy, would you like bunny teeth, chicken
- 1:36:09feed, Cupid corn and harvest corn? Or Calvin and Hobbes, Kathy Dunesberry
- 1:36:16and the Far Side. Oh, let's go with the second one, the
- 1:36:19comics. All right, Karen and Kyla, write down the correct answer to
- 1:36:24this which comic strip is responsible for creating the official name for the row of
- 1:36:30spikes on a Stegosaurus's tail. Please write down the correct answer, and they
- 1:36:35were Calvin and Hobbs, Kathy Dunesberry, and the Far Side, which comic
- 1:36:42strip is responsible for creating the official name for the rope spikes on a Segasaurus's
- 1:36:46tail. Karen is ready and Kyla looks ready as well. Andy cut an
- 1:36:51incorrect answer, Kathy, straight out the gate. Let's see, well done,
- 1:37:00well done. That is an incorrect answer, of course, not a
- 1:37:04lot of time. Not a ton, not a ton, Jeonsburry, Andy's
- 1:37:10cutting, Dunesberry, well done. That's two. Last, but not least
- 1:37:18Calvin Hobbs or the Far Side, which is incorrect, perfectly played, absolutely
- 1:37:30right. Everybody knew it. Looks like maybe Kyler knew it. Question.
- 1:37:39Karen and Kyler both had the Far Side written down. Yeah. Absolutely,
- 1:37:43It's called the Thago Miser and the Far Side is responsible for its name.
- 1:37:46I like questions like that. Four chances for Andy. Well done, Well
- 1:37:50done, Karen, We're back to you. Would you like America, England,
- 1:37:58Germany and Switzerland? Or Hurricane Katrina an armed home invasion, the death
- 1:38:04of his sister and nine to eleven? Yeah, we'll do the second one
- 1:38:14second, All right? All right? Uh so, once again for the
- 1:38:17people who are about to write down the answers are Hurricane Katrina, an armed
- 1:38:23home invasion, the death of his sister, and nine to eleven and Karen
- 1:38:28the question is. In an interview with The New York Daily News, mister
- 1:38:32T explained that despite gold chains being part of his iconic look, he had
- 1:38:38decided to stop wearing gold in response to what events. What event caused mister
- 1:38:44T to stop wearing gold? Hurricane Katrina, an armed home invasion, the
- 1:38:50death of his sister, or nine to eleven? You know, hold off
- 1:38:56on picking question. I know, Kyla, have you written down what you
- 1:39:02think is the answer? Okay, Andy, just waiting on you, all
- 1:39:05right, I'm just gonna erase the other one. So okay, Karen,
- 1:39:10please cut an incorrect answer. I'm going to cut nine to eleven. Well
- 1:39:17done, that's incorrect, and you've earned a chance. I've cut another incorrect
- 1:39:23answer, the armed home invasion. Well done, that's too incorrect. One
- 1:39:30more Hurricane Katrina or the death of his sister. I'm cutting the death of
- 1:39:36his sister, well done. That's perfectly right. Yes, and Kyla and
- 1:39:47Andy both have it correct. It was Hurricane Katrina made him stop wearing gold.
- 1:39:55Why he was going to sink down so Andy and Kyl get a chance
- 1:40:00apiece, and Karen earns four chances. He's a very given guy. All
- 1:40:05right, Kyla, this is yours. This is the last question around.
- 1:40:10Would you like Arizona, Colorado, Montana, and New Mexico or Adam West,
- 1:40:15Bob Kane, Lewis Wilson and Robert Lowry. I want the states and
- 1:40:19can you read them one more time? Arizona, Colorado, Montana, and
- 1:40:24New Mexico. That's okay, all right? The question is what is the
- 1:40:31only US state whose official motto is in Spanish? What is the only US
- 1:40:38state whose official motto is in Spanish? Andy and Karen write down what you
- 1:40:43think the correct answer is. And once you're both done, I'll have Kyla
- 1:40:46start cutting. And he's done and Karen looks almost done. All right,
- 1:40:53Kyla cut an incorrect answer, please, I'm going to cut Montana. Sorry.
- 1:41:10Montana's official motto is oro, which translates to gold and silver. I
- 1:41:15knew it was going to be something about gold, Charon said New Mexico and
- 1:41:20Arizona said Andy. So nobody can chances. Nobody gets any chances on that
- 1:41:27one. So at the end of this round, Kyla has three spins.
- 1:41:32Andy has seven spins and Karen has ten. Wow, shit, thank you.
- 1:41:44So they're gonna take those chances to the big board right after a short
- 1:41:47break. All right, it's round two. You will have noticed that the
- 1:41:54values have jumped up quite a bit. There is over five hundred dollars cash
- 1:42:00and prizes up there, all waiting for you to take it home. Of
- 1:42:03course, once again, there's also a great deal more money and a chance
- 1:42:10spaces up there as well, so this might go on a bit longer.
- 1:42:13In the first round, we are going to start with the player in last
- 1:42:16place, and that is Kyler. Kyla has three dollars fifty three chances.
- 1:42:23It's not a lot, but there's a lot of money up there, so
- 1:42:25anything could happen. You're ready to play. You could win with three dollars.
- 1:42:30You're ready. Here we go fifty place, fifty three, fifty three
- 1:42:45chances, the same three chances, Kylo. What do you want to do?

- 1:43:31That chance goes over to Karen. Karen, you're gonna deal with that
- 1:43:34in a moment. First, we're going to go to Andy, who was
- 1:43:36in second place at the start of the round. Andy, you have twenty
- 1:43:40one to twenty. You are currently in third place. You have seven chances

- 1:44:33I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.
- 1:44:36Stop it. The stuff that is valued at nineteen ninety five brings you

- 1:50:18If you pass it to Kyla and she hits a Stevie, you're the winner.
- 1:50:23If you pass it to Kyla and she gets less than well, there's
- 1:50:26nothing up there that will give her what she needs. She needs something within
- 1:50:30a chance. She would have to hit something with an additional spin to stay
- 1:50:32in the game. I'm gonna, I'm going to Yeah, I want to
- 1:50:36see what Kyla can do with this, all right, Kyla. There's a

- 1:56:39hundredth episode game show Spectacular My God, and we are returning to an old
- 1:56:45favorite one we haven't played in almost one hundred episodes. Holy crap, has
- 1:56:48it been a long time. We are playing the List, which means I
- 1:56:55need five players and we have five special guests with us. Please, ladies
- 1:57:00and gentlemen, welcome the Rumpus Sleepers. CJ from Proper Rumpus is their captain.
- 1:57:11CJ. How you doing, brother, I'm waiting for all these friendships
- 1:57:15of mine and from the disaster. This is going to be I'm good.
- 1:57:20Thank you everybody, thanks for having It's great to be a part of this
- 1:57:24auspicious multi part occasion, so thank you. Well. I've been telling everybody
- 1:57:29that, like we've been trying for a two hundred episode, we've been trying
- 1:57:31to invite the people who have contributed the most of the show over the years,
- 1:57:36and everybody here definitely qualifies one hundred thousand. Aside from CJ, the
- 1:57:44other members of his team, we have Jabo and Nashan from scene in fifteen
- 1:57:48and proper Rumpus media of course, say hi, Jabo and Nashan. Hello,
- 1:57:54Hello, all right? How everybody? I love those voices? Is
- 1:58:00you guys? And Matt and Oudra from the gate Leapers. Oh it's so
- 1:58:08good to be here. I'm so stoked to play this game with all of
- 1:58:11you. You know what I noticed already? What's that? Yeah? You
- 1:58:14invite the gate Leapers and yet no Jason again. I swear this individual is
- 1:58:20not real. This is what five occurrences. Now as I've said, yeah,
- 1:58:27perspective, that's that could be true, That could be true. I
- 1:58:30understand why you have this conspiracy theory. I smoke Two things I can contribute
- 1:58:35to that. One, I know he's sure he's real because he's my nemesis.
- 1:58:39And two brand for him not to be at anything that's not gate Leapers
- 1:58:45like I realized. I'm sure it isn't personal. Oh okay, oh no
- 1:58:53it is it actually is? Okay, all right, never mind. So
- 1:58:57anyway, the list allow me to explain the rules Captain and his team of
- 1:59:00four other players are going to take turns trying to win money by completing lists.
- 1:59:04The captain knows what the categories are and he's going to assign players to
- 1:59:08play each each list one by one. Each player is going to try and
- 1:59:12complete as many correct answers on their list as they can. Getting to five
- 1:59:15is the magic number. That means that they get to go into the final
- 1:59:18list, and they contribute money to the Team prize Fund. And the money
- 1:59:23grows like this. At five correct answers, that's two dollars. At six
- 1:59:26correct answers that's five dollars. Seven answers is worth ten, eight is worth
- 1:59:30twenty five, nine is worth fifty. And if you successfully complete an entire
- 1:59:34list of all ten correct answers, that's one hundred dollars to the Team prize
- 1:59:40Fund. Wow. And we're gonna do this five times. Once everybody's had
- 1:59:44a turn, including the captain, we're gonna go on to the final list,
- 1:59:46and that is where we determine whether or not they get to take that
- 1:59:49money home for their charity or not. Oh, I almost forgot to ask,
- 1:59:54did we decide what charity you guys were gonna play for? I don't
- 1:59:58think we did a little bit about it, all right, chat, Well,
- 2:00:02listen, that's fine. We're gonna take some breaks throughout the show so
- 2:00:06you guys can discuss it. We're gonna be we're playing for a good cause.
- 2:00:12That's all that. I guarantee. Whatever they pick, I know it's
- 2:00:15gonna be a good cause. Is the good cause my pocket. I've already
- 2:00:21tried that. Yeah, it's a pretty bad look if we just you know,
- 2:00:28give you guys money. So yeah, let's have a game show and
- 2:00:32invite our friends. Just give them the money. They can take us out
- 2:00:35to dinner. It'll be perfect around. There's no nepotism or bias at all
- 2:00:42anyway. So yes, all right, so let's get started. C J.
- 2:00:47You know what the categories are, and you remember what category number one
- 2:00:51is, correct, I do. Who would you like to face category number
- 2:00:56one? All right, so let the friending begin, and I am actually
- 2:01:03picking Matt for this first category. Okay, Matt, Matt, the first
- 2:01:08category is yours. Welcome to the show. Matt. It's great to be
- 2:01:12here. Thanks thanks for having me back, especially for the celebration. I'm
- 2:01:15so excited. I always enjoy doing anything with you guys, and this is
- 2:01:19certainly no exception. How are you on? I mean, I know how
- 2:01:24good you are at creating game shows and play and you know having your friends
- 2:01:30play them. How good are you actually answering trivia questions? I know that
- 2:01:33recently you had Oudra host an episode of gate lea beruis the last episode?
- 2:01:38I believe, yes, And so I'm just curious as to how you think
- 2:01:42you're going to do today. Oh, probably pretty poorly. There's a reason
- 2:01:46I put myself in the position of asking the questions as opposed to answering them.
- 2:01:50Oh, okay, it turns out I don't like being under pressure.
- 2:01:54I have no idea why I make other people do it. Okay, regular
- 2:01:59basis. In that case, you're gonna hate this. But allow me to
- 2:02:03tell you reveal to you what category CJ has chosen for you. It's names,
- 2:02:10Okay, okay, how does that make you feel? Just anything doesn't
- 2:02:14matter. If go ahead, Yeah, if it's If it's names of people
- 2:02:18I know, then great. Oh it's names of people I don't know,
- 2:02:21then this will be pretty bad. I mean, we're gonna we're gonna find
- 2:02:25out. I will reveal the list to you shortly, but before I do
- 2:02:27I'm just gonna go over the helps that you guys have. You're not just
- 2:02:30being thrown up against this list, willy nilly. There's several things that you
- 2:02:33and your captain can do to help you. For starters, the captain has
- 2:02:36one substitution for the entire game. If after the list has been revealed,
- 2:02:42the captain feels that they've given it to the wrong person, they can substitute
- 2:02:45another player in, but you can only do it once, CJ, and
- 2:02:48you have to do it by the third list. The captain can also deny
- 2:02:55one answer per list. If he feels that you've given an incorrect answer,
- 2:02:59Matt, he can jump in and shout denied, and when you do,
- 2:03:02we will cancel that answer and replace it with one of CJ's own. The
- 2:03:08team as a whole, I think I missed that part of my own.
- 2:03:13Yeah. Yeah, you do have to give your own answer to replace it.
- 2:03:16The team also has three soss that you can use throughout the show for
- 2:03:20the first five lists anyway, anytime, if you need help, Matt,
- 2:03:25you can ask to use an SOS and you can choose someone else on your
- 2:03:29team to contribute an answer to help out. If you choose someone who doesn't
- 2:03:33have an answer. They can refuse to give an answer, in which case
- 2:03:36the SOS is not spent and you can try again. You can ask someone
- 2:03:41else whatever. But if they give an answer, the SOS is spent,
- 2:03:45and then you decide whether you want to go with that answer or not.
- 2:03:47It's up to you. You can even save it till later. It's entirely
- 2:03:50your call. Okay. The final additional help that we are introducing just for
- 2:03:56this two hundredth episode is you may ask Stevie and Aggie once per list.
- 2:04:02They have no idea what the lists are, so they have no inside knowledge,
- 2:04:09so you can ask them to help you out with one answer per list.
- 2:04:13Knowledge is that it's up to you whether you want to use it or
- 2:04:16not. It's entirely up to you. For I'd say for two of these
- 2:04:23yes, it is outside of that no. Again, Stevie and Aggie can
- 2:04:28contribute one answer, and the player decides whether they use their answer or not.
- 2:04:31It's up to you, Matt. All of that being said, oh,
- 2:04:34there's one more thing I almost forgot. You have a free mistake,
- 2:04:38so if you give a wrong answer, it's not the end of the world.
- 2:04:41You just lose your free mistake. However, if after you lose your
- 2:04:45free mistake, you give me a second incorrect answer, then your list is
- 2:04:48over and you are sent to the black hole and you may not help the
- 2:04:51team in the final list unless your captain can save you. But we'll get
- 2:04:56to that in any way, I've been talking for like a half an hour.
- 2:04:59Should we play this list? Probably? All right, do it,
- 2:05:01Matt. Here is your list on names. Top ten baby girl names beginning
- 2:05:10with E. To clarify, this is the ten most popular names for baby
- 2:05:17girls in the US beginning with the letter E, according to the Social Security
- 2:05:24Administration as of twenty twenty three. Okay, so it's whenever you're ready.
- 2:05:31Just go ahead and give me an E name that you think is going to
- 2:05:35be on this list. Okay, I'm going to say Emma. Emma,
- 2:05:46all right? Is Emma on this list? Yeah? Absolutely, It's number
- 2:06:04one on the entire list of all names. Emma is second second most popular
- 2:06:12baby name for girls. Anyway, all right, one down, four more
- 2:06:15to go, Matt. Okay, I feel like there's a few moll I
- 2:06:19could probably say that. Feel like they could be universal and pretty pretty popular.
- 2:06:24Okay, So I'm I'm gonna say Ellie. Ellie is Ellie on this
- 2:06:32list. It's good. Guess good guess yep, it's number seven, and
- 2:06:44Ellie was the thirty third most popular name. Beginning well the beginning with any
- 2:06:48letter, I should say Matt. It is entirely possible that multiple forms of
- 2:06:55the same name could be on this list. For example, for example,
- 2:06:59Jennifer and Jenny could be two separate entries. Yes, just for complete fairness,
- 2:07:05I'll loop back around to that, I'll go for another, a big
- 2:07:09hitter original, and I'll say Emily. Emily sounds good to me. Is
- 2:07:14Emily on this list. I would have expected that to be number one.
- 2:07:18Honestly, Yeah, it's number five. Emily is the seventeenth most popular baby
- 2:07:30girl name. Well done, Three down, two more to go to get
- 2:07:32to the money. You haven't made a misstep yet. You still have all
- 2:07:35your helps, So based I'm gonna game the game. Game's master here,
- 2:07:42Aaron, if you don't mind, team said the longer forms of a name
- 2:07:45after I said Ellie. So Elena, eleanor Eleanor, Yeah, is Eleanor
- 2:07:54on this list? Yeah? It's number four. It is the sixteenth most
- 2:08:07popular baby girl name. Overall. Uh, and you're absolutely right. It
- 2:08:13was good timing to to mention that anyway. Now I'm now I'm less sure
- 2:08:22because making and you have multiple helps available. So yeah, I think I'm
- 2:08:26gonna I'm gonna ask Stevie and Ogi. Oh interested, oh geez. All
- 2:08:31right, you're gotta throw it away that quick. Stevie and Aggie, what
- 2:08:35do you think? And remember you can only contribute one answer, so as
- 2:08:37soon as either of you say anything that could be considered an answer, I
- 2:08:41have to cut you off. I have one. You got one? Okay,
- 2:08:46if you got one? Yeah, I trust in you, sir.
- 2:08:48All right, what do you say? Elizabeth? Elizabeth? What do you
- 2:08:52think about that? I like it? That's great, I like and that
- 2:08:56likes Elizabeth? All right, you're gonna go with it? Yes, all
- 2:09:00right, let's see. Is Elizabeth on this list for answer number five?
- 2:09:05Come on? Yeah, answer there, absolutely right, it's number three.
- 2:09:20Elizabeth is okay, fifteenth, fifteenth most popular baby girl named nice. Well
- 2:09:26done, Matt, you have made it. You have five correct answers.
- 2:09:30You contributed two dollars to the team prize fund. You can now stop whenever
- 2:09:33you want, but I would tell you you do still have a free mistake.
- 2:09:37You do still have plenty of helps, so it's up to you.
- 2:09:41But like I said, you can choose to stop whenever you want. Yeah,
- 2:09:46so the helps that eleft is that just for me? Or is that
- 2:09:50to share between the entirety? The soss are for the entire team. The
- 2:09:52captain can still deny you, but that's on him, okay, And the
- 2:09:56free mistake is just a free mistake. So Aaron, I need you said
- 2:10:01it at the top, but I just need clarity. I can do that
- 2:10:03per list or how many pearl lists, and once once per list, so
- 2:10:07every once for every contestant. This is this is where it gets tougher now,
- 2:10:13because this is this is America. That is, I've only been here
- 2:10:18for so long and I've only had one set of friends who have had children,
- 2:10:26and which, to be fair, is an e name. But I
- 2:10:28think it's pretty obscure. So that doesn't that doesn't help me there. And
- 2:10:33so now I might be guessing things that maybe a more British or English,
- 2:10:39but I'm going to say Eloise, Eloise is Eloise a good one on this
- 2:10:46list. See he's gone full family. But let's do this a lot.
- 2:10:52Alois number two, how many? Number two? Most popular? Old?
- 2:10:58Sorry? Eloise is thirteenth on this list. Okay, the eighty sixth the
- 2:11:05most popular baby real name overall. So that's your that is your thought about
- 2:11:11it. That is your free mistake gone. You can continue if you want,
- 2:11:16but if you make another mistake, you are out of the game and
- 2:11:18that money disappears as well. I don't know, I don't I think I'm
- 2:11:24happy that I've got five to make it to the final list. I don't
- 2:11:30feel confident on any others, and I think there's probably bad categories that we
- 2:11:33can potentially burn through some lifelines with. So I think I'm gonna stop that.
- 2:11:37Okay, all right, that seems like a wise decision. You've decided
- 2:11:41to stop. Did anybody else on the team have any other name? Stevie's
- 2:11:46raised his hand is Ava on there? Ava is fifteenth this list. Ooh,
- 2:11:52it's a good name. It is a good name. I agree,
- 2:11:54anybody else? Yeah? I heard Elaine as well a Lane. I do
- 2:12:01not have a Laane on this list. It is further down than fifteenth Ela.
- 2:12:07Sorry, who said that? I would have went for el because everybody
- 2:12:11it's Elsa and like this off it's somebody or loved somebody for the Frozen again
- 2:12:18again Elsa not on this list? Wow, so it is? It is
- 2:12:24is further down than fifteen. I had to ask because Matt, you mentioned
- 2:12:28your friends, and now that it's not going to count against us, I
- 2:12:31want you to say the name because I want to see if it's on here.
- 2:12:35Oh sure, and this could be any friend of mine. So it's
- 2:12:37not talks and infants as may as may is not on the list. No,
- 2:12:41okay, so good call, not going for it. I can tell
- 2:12:46you that number two was Evelin. Okay, yeah, Evelyn or Evelin.
- 2:12:52Number six was Ella e l a okay. Number eight was number eight was
- 2:12:58when I ever heard before Ellie Ana el l e I E l I A
- 2:13:03n a. The it's the forty forty first most popular name for baby girls.
- 2:13:09Number nine was one you probably would have gotten if you thought about actresses
- 2:13:13and Game of the Thrones. It's Amelia, Oh, Amelia, Amelia after
- 2:13:18Amelia Clark. And number ten was a Lena E L E n Oh.
- 2:13:24Yeah, you're good. Yeah, just for the curious, Just for the
- 2:13:30curious. Number eleven was Everly. Number twelve was Emery and number fourteen.
- 2:13:35This kind of surprised me. Ever, Lee, but Lee spelled l E
- 2:13:39I G H. Whoa more popular than avings? Really more popular than all
- 2:13:48Right, Matt, you are into the finalist, so you are going to
- 2:13:50be helping your team to take the money home. You've put two dollars into
- 2:13:54the team prize fund. I'm modest beginning, but that's fine. It is
- 2:13:58a good start. So let's get on to our second list. CJ.
- 2:14:03You remember category number two? Correct? I do? Who do you want
- 2:14:07to face category number two? This one we are going with one of our
- 2:14:11females. Nashawan is going to take list number two. Nashawan, Hey,
- 2:14:16Nashwan, welcome to the show. Thanks you sound thrilled. Nashwan, so
- 2:14:30happy to have you. It's always a fun time having you and Java on.
- 2:14:33Absolutely adore it. I love being here. So how are you on
- 2:14:41these kinds of things? Are you nervous? Are you? It's not really
- 2:14:43that great? So all right, okay, well, well I'm usually the
- 2:14:50one that does the hosting of Trivia Night, not the one answering any of
- 2:14:52them. Okay, that's awesome. Actually might give you the skill set to
- 2:14:56do well, find out absolutely well naeon, let me ask you the category
- 2:15:03he gave you. How do you feel about words? I am the math
- 2:15:11and science teacher in language. That's fair? Okay, so this could go
- 2:15:18a number of ways. I guess we'll find out. Nashan. Here is
- 2:15:24your list the first ten four letter words made from the word asshole. To
- 2:15:35clarify, on an alphabetical list of four letter words that can be made using
- 2:15:41the letters in the word asshole, we are looking for the first ten.
- 2:15:46All words on the list were verified by the Oxford English Dictionary, and words
- 2:15:50can be made using both essays, but I will not reveal whether any of
- 2:15:54those made this list. Nashan, how do you feel? C J?
- 2:16:00Do you think you might want to use your substitution? I only get one
- 2:16:03of those, right, you only get one for the entire game. That's
- 2:16:09what I thought. Yeah, okay, they come up with five words out
- 2:16:13of there that are the top ten. I think I might be able to
- 2:16:16do the poor poor letter words. I think I could do it the first
- 2:16:20the first ten alphabetically. Yes is the important part. Yes, I think
- 2:16:24I could give it. I have faith, I think okay, God,
- 2:16:28all right, Well she's she seems confident. You feel confident Nan, you
- 2:16:33are you are going to start with a though, Nissan, I can guess
- 2:16:39that I'm pretty confident, but Uhan, you have paper and write these down
- 2:16:46so I can look at it. I'm not a scrambler someone, I mean
- 2:16:54we are. We are an audio podcast, so we can't sit here in
- 2:16:56silence while you write words down. But if you want to do it while
- 2:17:00we're talking, feel free. Yeah, you're totally all. You do,
- 2:17:03have all your helps, but when you're ready, go ahead and give me
- 2:17:07your first answer. A shd ash ash is ash on this list? No,
- 2:17:35sorry, hey, I suck at this, then there you go.
- 2:17:37Ash is not a word according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Okay, well
- 2:17:43that was a freaking may. You do still have plenty of helps, But
- 2:17:48if you give me another wrong answer, you're going into the black hole.
- 2:17:54You love black hole. You guys might be doing this without me. Mine
- 2:18:01is alphabetically. If it wouldn't have been alphabetically, I would have been good.
- 2:18:05I would focused on doing one you can and see if it falls,
- 2:18:07because it means the gap in alphabet may be wider than you think. And
- 2:18:11I'm just speculating. What about shoe? Shoe is shoe on this list.
- 2:18:39No, I'm sorry, shoe is a four letter word, but it's too
- 2:18:43far down, all right, So fabbatical thing is tough to be bad?
- 2:18:48Yeah? Does anyone else have any ideas? Stevie raised, yes, Stevie,
- 2:18:56what do you think lash? Lash is fifteenth? Too far down with
- 2:19:03whole? Whole would have been number ten. It was risky, Yeah,
- 2:19:09it was. I mean if you've gone for that, that would have told
- 2:19:11you where the absolute lowest king go, which would have been great. Did
- 2:19:16anyone else have any other ideas? Ales? Ale's was number one, as
- 2:19:24was the very first one. Last okay, sorry, last l A S
- 2:19:28S. That would be even further down the flash. I just realized alphabe
- 2:19:33the other way. Sale already said, sale is way down. I'll just
- 2:19:39sorry. Who said what I'm going to heal you? He would have been
- 2:19:43number seven? Yeah, yeah. Number two was l o A l o
- 2:19:48e. Number three was also number four was a tough one. This is
- 2:19:54an old English word h a E s hayes. It's an old English word
- 2:19:58that means to or have. Number five was hal h a l e.
- 2:20:03Number six was halo. Number eight was helo, which is an older word.
- 2:20:09But we still used relatively recently means bashful or shamed face number one helicopter,
- 2:20:18number nine is hose h o E s yes, and of course number
- 2:20:24ten was whole. So Nishan, sadly, you're going into the black hole
- 2:20:28four now, but there's every possibility to CJ will be able to rescue you.
- 2:20:33So hang tight. You're not out of it for good, and don't
- 2:20:37worries, no tears, You'll be fine. The black hole is nice this
- 2:20:41time of year. I swear there, Glora, do you have to come
- 2:20:48and join me in the black hole? Well, we are two less down.
- 2:20:52We have three more lists to go before we can get to our final
- 2:20:54list, so we're going to take a short break. When we come back,
- 2:20:56our contestants are going to continue facing more lists right after this. Awesome,
- 2:21:07very cool, all right, anybody anything, go get it now.
- 2:21:11Can I tell you, the four of you that this this list that he
- 2:21:16sent me of categories, this was incredibly difficult. They are quite vague,
- 2:21:22so I don't know which way I would have gone. Yeah, And Nishan,
- 2:21:26honestly, I thought you were teaching English. For what it's worth,
- 2:21:30I did and realize, so that's why I put you on words like I
- 2:21:35could tell that as soon as I told you that I was the math and
- 2:21:37science teacher, your look on your face was like, yeah, you know
- 2:21:43what's coming. I still think it was the best choice, like like knowing
- 2:21:48what's doing, it must have gotten And I swear whenever it's like rearrange these
- 2:21:54letters to make words, I can't do it. If it's already a word,
- 2:21:58I can come up with, like one, I mean, because I
- 2:22:01just see asshole, that's all I see. Would have been alphabetical. There's
- 2:22:07so many works come up with that weren't alphabetical. Would have worked last it
- 2:22:15would have been a word I would have said, too, but it would
- 2:22:16have been too low, you know, like you know that would have worked
- 2:22:20so l e Like I was going with my shoes, like that's all I
- 2:22:24could come out of that is as in the animal. That would have been
- 2:22:28their sale. You know, as far as charities go, there's a charity
- 2:22:37they got Smoke a new car, and I was thinking we should contribute to
- 2:22:41that. That was obviously where my my, what are they going to give
- 2:22:46him another one? Someone else that needs one? I was kidding. I
- 2:22:56mean the one that nominated me as a local veteran association called Western Western New
- 2:23:01York Heroes, but it was also a part of Yeah oh yeah, man,
- 2:23:05yeah it was nice. Yeah, a partnership between them heroes is good
- 2:23:09there and they do really good stuff. Yeah, as almos my, my
- 2:23:11rest of my team doesn't object. But that's the one I was thinking would
- 2:23:15be a good one to contribute, I think, Yeah, we were thinking
- 2:23:18veterans charity. So yeah, there's your answer. Well, thank you guys.
- 2:23:24Awesome. Yeah, I will let them know like right away too afterwards.
- 2:23:28That's gonna be cool as hell. That's awesome. You better start leaning
- 2:23:35what they get. Let's not give them. It's in this game. You're
- 2:23:43screwing over the veterans, buddy that yeah, listen, answer they're wrong.
- 2:23:48I'm like, oh, so you've already lost his arm for the country.
- 2:23:52Now you can't get a car giving you every chance? Man? All right,
- 2:24:00everybody back, ready to go, yep, let's rock and roll.
- 2:24:05All right, there's gonna be no sound. I'm just gonna intro u in,
- 2:24:09but you can count us down hockey. Okay, we'll go in five
- 2:24:13four three. Hey, welcome back. The Rumpus Sleepers have one contestant in
- 2:24:22the final list and two dollars in the team prize. Fun and nice,
- 2:24:26modest start, but unfortunately one contestant has landed herself into the black hole,
- 2:24:30so hopefully CJ will be able to rescue her. But before we can get
- 2:24:33to that, we have to do two more lists, CJ, Category number
- 2:24:37three, who do you want to tackle that? We are sticking with the
- 2:24:41power of this team with the women, and Audier is gonna take on list
- 2:24:45number three. Okay, excellent, let's go. Modro from the Gay Labors
- 2:24:50Hill happy to have you as all. Welcome. I'm excited. I have
- 2:24:56to tell you I only listened to half of the lost episode, but you
- 2:24:58know what, I really enjoy you being games Master and Matt taking a back
- 2:25:03seat. It is delightful. I actually listened to it as well yesterday.
- 2:25:07It was so much fun. It's fun at being in charge, isn't it.
- 2:25:11It's fun. It is also stressful. After the recording, Matt mentioned
- 2:25:16that it was like having a tough time the playing. Afterwards, you were
- 2:25:20both like, your job is so hard. Yeah, it's a whole gift,
- 2:25:28a gift of the Magi situation. I got you games Master scene,
- 2:25:33I got you a player's seat. All right, Well, let's let's see
- 2:25:41how stressed out you are when I tell you that CJ gave you the category
- 2:25:46soft drinks. Okay, how do you feeling that? Okay, I'm feeling
- 2:25:52good. I'm currently drinking a mocktail, so I'm feeling all right. I
- 2:25:56mean this might be confident. Might find out here, Audra, is your
- 2:26:01list on soft drinks? The top ten highest selling soda beverages in the US.
- 2:26:11To clarify, we're looking for the ten highest selling soda beverages in the
- 2:26:16US, according to a Newsweek article as of twenty twenty one. And that's
- 2:26:22it. We're just looking for the top ten best selling soda beverages. Easy,
- 2:26:26is that? Hey, Aaron? Am I allowed to ask a clarifying
- 2:26:28question on be half of my team? Or no? I'll allow it.
- 2:26:33What do you want to know? I may not answer, Oh no,
- 2:26:37that's fair if you choose, like, is coke zero different than Coke Regular?
- 2:26:45Absolutely? Yes, these are the individual beverages and we're looking for the
- 2:26:50highest selling period. Okay, Okay, does that clarify? Yes? Okay,
- 2:26:58CJ. This is the last opportunity for CJ to use this substitution.
- 2:27:03But if Audre, if you're happy with it, let him know and we'll
- 2:27:07just move on. I'm feeling solid, yes, good because honestly, the
- 2:27:13last two I feel like are on lockdown. So I don't quit on the
- 2:27:16switching out of Okay, all right, all right, Audre, it's on.
- 2:27:20You tell me. Just give me one of the top ten highest selling
- 2:27:24sodas in the US. I'm gonna go safe. We've got to have Coca
- 2:27:31Cola. Coca Cola Cola, it's gotta be on this list. Gotcha got
- 2:27:37this? Of course it's number one. Coca Cola alone made thirty eight point
- 2:27:52five billion in sales alone. No good there, that flavor alone, all
- 2:28:01the three. Yes, just Coca Cola alone. We need to come over
- 2:28:05old flavor. It's not refreshing. Boy, does it take the grease off
- 2:28:09my tires? Uh? Oudra? Can you give me another answer? Do
- 2:28:16you want to use one of your helps? I'm going to go. I
- 2:28:18think I've got a couple more safe answers. Go for it. When you
- 2:28:22ask for coke and they say, is pepsi? Okay? So let's go.
- 2:28:26It's never okay, is it? Let's go for pepsi? Is pepsi
- 2:28:28on this list. Yeah, it's number three. Pepsi Uh made fourteen point
- 2:28:45eight billion dollars. Wow, start traveling a little bit like those loans aers
- 2:28:50just just a little bit more than a third of what Coca Cola made.
- 2:28:54It's more popular to make good money like cocaine. All right, Odra,
- 2:29:01what do you want to do next? I'm gonna go Let's go for because
- 2:29:09we did clarify on the variants. Let's go for like diet coke. Diet
- 2:29:16coke is diet coke on this list? Come on, it's got to be
- 2:29:22on there, right, Yeah, it's number two. Okay, Uh,
- 2:29:35diet coke. Remembering the coke Cola made thirty eight point five billion, Diet
- 2:29:39coke made thirty seven point two billion dollars. It is almost as popular as
- 2:29:46it's still bad for you, and it is still like three times higher than
- 2:29:50pepsi. Oh my god. Anyway, she's neither here nor there, Odra,
- 2:29:54You've got the top three. There's just seven more to go. You
- 2:29:58just need more to get into the final list. Do you still have all
- 2:30:05your helps? Yes, Let's try some other Let's outside of the Cola family.
- 2:30:15My family was always a doctor Pepper family, doctor let's go risky,
- 2:30:20just break the seal on a riskier pick. Is doctor Pepper on this list?
- 2:30:35Yeah, it's number four. Doctor Pepper made eleven point one billion dollars
- 2:30:39rap yep, only twenty less than Coke. He's a doctor, Yeah,
- 2:30:48he's a doctor. Went to school for eight years. They did good.
- 2:31:00I know how that goes. I went to school too before. Andre.
- 2:31:03What do you want to do? You still have all your helps, You're
- 2:31:05just went away from getting through without them. But it's up to you.
- 2:31:09Yeah. I think since Coke had such a stranglehold on the top two places,
- 2:31:16I do think that a Coke zero could still be within the remaining answers.
- 2:31:24A Coke zero is Coke zero on this list is not even real?
- 2:31:43Is there Coke zero? Is that? Coke zero is real? It just
- 2:31:46did not make the top ten? Did I think of that? Did I
- 2:31:50make that up? I have an idea? So that was your free mistake.
- 2:31:58You do still just need one more answer to getting to the final list.
- 2:32:03You do still have all of your helps. You can ask TV and
- 2:32:07Augie, you can use an SOS or you can try one and if CJ
- 2:32:11thinks you're wrong, you can jump in and give his own answer instead.
- 2:32:20I think I think I've got one solid answer left in me. Okay,
- 2:32:24in that there's gotta be one of those lemon limes. So does because every
- 2:32:30every event you go to will have one of them. Okay, But it's
- 2:32:35the determination of which one do I think is the most popular of those split
- 2:32:41on the market. No, CJ. You can't say anything unless you're denying.
- 2:32:46Okay. So I mean I'm gonna pick one, and if you think
- 2:32:52it's the other one, feel free to deny me. Good strategy, though,
- 2:32:56Yeah, that is actually the way to do it. I'm gonna go
- 2:33:01with Sprite. Sprite. Yea is Sprite on this list? Yeah? Absolutely
- 2:33:18right. Sprite is number six with six billion dollars in sales. So you
- 2:33:24are into the final round. You have two dollars added to the team prize
- 2:33:26fund. You can stop here. Your next correct answer would put five dollars
- 2:33:31into the team's prize fund, and you do still have all of your helps.
- 2:33:35Okay. Yeah, I'm thinking I'm gonna ask Stevie and Aggie. Okay,
- 2:33:45Stevian, Augie, what do you think I think I got one?
- 2:33:48I don't tall. Right now she gets to choose whether to go with it
- 2:33:50or not. Yeah, she does. She chooses, She chooses whether she
- 2:33:54wants to go with it. She can give another answer and then come back
- 2:33:58and give yours if she wants. She can do any awesome. Awesome,
- 2:34:00because I believe this one is big, especially with the kids nowadays want to
- 2:34:05stay up all they played their video games and stuff. Mountain dew. Mountain
- 2:34:09dew, says Stevie Odra. What do you think? Oh, I drank
- 2:34:16so much mountain dew in my youth, right, it's amazingly so alive,
- 2:34:20I know, right, I feeling solid on mountain dew. Okay, you
- 2:34:26want to go with that? Feel solid after mountain dew too? All right,
- 2:34:31you got all right, We're going with mountain dew. Is mountain dew
- 2:34:35on this list? Come on? Oh god, oh god, Yeah it's
- 2:34:46number five. Mountain dew made seven billion in revenue last year. Yes,
- 2:34:56well done. You now have five dollars for the team prize fund. Your
- 2:35:03next correct answer is worth ten dollars to the team prize fund. You do
- 2:35:07still have your other helps so s's or the deny, but I do have
- 2:35:11to remind you that if you give me another wrong answer, the five dollars
- 2:35:16is gone, and you're out of the final list, at least temporarily.
- 2:35:20Oh gosh, So if you got a good one, it might be worth
- 2:35:24going for it. But if you don't, it's up to you whether you
- 2:35:26want to play it safe. I'm fearful. I'm just We're just, We're
- 2:35:41just. I'm just saying how I feel fearful. I might stay okay,
- 2:35:46just to know that I have You want to stop? Yes? Final answer?
- 2:35:52All right? Is gonna stop? There? She has added five dollars
- 2:35:56to the team prize. One brings them up to seven. Yes, it's
- 2:35:58a good solid amount to start with it, and Audra is into the final
- 2:36:01round, regardless of what happens from here on out. Now, having said
- 2:36:05that, if you had to give me one more answer, what would you
- 2:36:09have gone? Oh? Sorry, I was asking Audra specifically, but no,
- 2:36:16it probably would have been diet pepsi. Diet pepsi, because it's the
- 2:36:20third. If you'd given me diet pepsi, you would now be in the
- 2:36:24black hole. Oh, diet pepsi did not make the top ten. If
- 2:36:28it is a pepsi variant, would it be pepsi max? Nope, cherry
- 2:36:33anymore Jerry Cope, no diet doctor Pepper, No, no Fanta is the
- 2:36:39big one. Fanta is number seven, okay, makes sense, would have
- 2:36:43been the third one. What was so funny to me was like when you
- 2:36:46were saying, there has to be at least one lemon lime thing up there,
- 2:36:50Audra, all of them are up there. Sierra missed his number eight
- 2:36:54and number ten is seven up so all of all of the lemon lime SODA's
- 2:37:00made the list. And I wonder, it's like a caffeine free thing,
- 2:37:03their default caffeine free, I wonder. And number nine is sun kissed all
- 2:37:11I completely forgot about some Well, the team has seven dollars and two contestants
- 2:37:18into the final final round. They're doing great. So it's come down to
- 2:37:24the final player list and uh, well there's only one category left and there's
- 2:37:30only one player left. Job, Oh you're up, ye, don't sound
- 2:37:37so thrilled. We'll see how this goes. You got this brother, got
- 2:37:43this man this thing. Yeah, I'm sure you're gonna be fine. So
- 2:37:50I can tell this was the easiest choice for me by the way of the
- 2:37:54four. Well, job pressure, as much pressure as you might be under,
- 2:38:01does it make you feel any better if I tell you that your category
- 2:38:05is popular TV. Yes and no? Okay, all right, then I'm
- 2:38:15like struck in the early two thousands, Like I'm watching the Sopranos again right
- 2:38:18now, dude, Like I can't let go. It's not over for me.
- 2:38:22Yeah, that's fair, all right. Well, let's see how you
- 2:38:28do. Here is your list on popular TV the top ten longest running scripted
- 2:38:39American primetime TV series. To clarify, on a list of the longest running
- 2:38:46scripted American television series that aired on a major broadcast network and had at least
- 2:38:50one hundred episodes, we are looking for the ten shows that had the most
- 2:38:56total seasons or series of January third, twenty twenty four. Shows with multiple
- 2:39:03incarnations are separated on this list. For example, Star Trek the Next Generation
- 2:39:09and Star Trek Deep Space nine are one hundred and thirty first and one hundred
- 2:39:15and thirty second on this list, respectively, So separate iterations of the same
- 2:39:20show are separate answers on this list. That may help you, it may
- 2:39:24not, but we're looking for the top ten shows that had the most series
- 2:39:31or seasons. Goodness suck. Just remember it has to be a scripted show,
- 2:39:41and it has to have tons of seasons. Am I allowed to?
- 2:39:46Am? I allowed to ask a question here? For Yeah? Sure,
- 2:39:48if it's a clarifying question, I will answer it if I can. My
- 2:39:52longest writing scripted American primetime TV series, Are we removing soap operas? Yes,
- 2:40:00sir, they are not prime time? Okay? Prime time is like
- 2:40:05okay, I'm just clarifying to make sure. Oh lord, this is not
- 2:40:11gonna go good. Come on, you're supposed to say this the Simpsons.
- 2:40:16Try, let's start with the Simpsons. The Simpsons. Let's see, is
- 2:40:18the Simpsons on this list? Well? I didn't even think about that.
- 2:40:22Come on, come on, come on. Of course it's number one.
- 2:40:35The Simpsons had thirty five seasons in the counters, still going and counting.
- 2:40:41All right, that's a great first start. Job o, what do you
- 2:40:45got next? You still have all your helps? Remember scream? Oh?
- 2:40:58Am? I okay, Am? I allowed to ask a clarifying question.
- 2:41:03As I said before, I will answer it if I can. Okay.
- 2:41:07When you said I know, you said, there's different variations, bl blah
- 2:41:09blah blah. This said the third star tack Star talking a generation. Yep,
- 2:41:13if let's just say if I was like, oh, American horror story
- 2:41:18do I have? Is that also include having a breakdown each one like dollhouse,
- 2:41:22butthole whatever they're all called or whatever else? Or is the American horror
- 2:41:26story umbrella? Okay? Uh a new title list? I believe, Yeah,
- 2:41:31I believe each season is a new title, so they would count as
- 2:41:35separate seasons. Okay, let's go with Modern Family. Modern Family? Is
- 2:41:46Modern Family on this list? No, sorry, I don't know where it
- 2:42:03is on the list. It is, it is past fifteen. I can
- 2:42:07tell you that. Wow, it's like it's well passed anything. Okay,
- 2:42:11yep, So man, all right, so that's your free mistake gone.
- 2:42:15You do still have all your helps. You can ask Stevie and Augie if
- 2:42:18they think of anything. You also have all three soss nobody's used an SOS.
- 2:42:22Yes, Okay, you know what I'm not gonna I don't want to
- 2:42:28be the guy that blows it for the whole squad that I don't think I
- 2:42:31can work with the sentence. I'm gonna try to think. Okay, before
- 2:42:35I I I'm probably gonna use an SOS. But one more time longest running
- 2:42:39scripted American primetime series and what's my cutoff year? Cut off year? All
- 2:42:46right, it's as has to have the criteria one more time, I'm bad.
- 2:42:52It has to have aired on a major broadcast network. It had to
- 2:42:54have at least one hundred episodes, and this is as of January third four.
- 2:43:01Okay, I'm gonna use sos go for it. Who would you like
- 2:43:07to ask for help? I honestly and truthfully was gonna say that I could
- 2:43:11probably script everything that I say and have this guy read it because he has
- 2:43:13the most delicious accent. Mad, I'm gonna need you to fail me out
- 2:43:18here. If you can, I can try it and thank you for the
- 2:43:24compliment. I'm torn between two, but I'm gonna say Gray's Anatomy because that
- 2:43:35feels like it's being on TV for forever. O my god, can I
- 2:43:39did I? Did I? Matt? Or? Is that not allowed?
- 2:43:43Uh? That is allowed? But Javo hasn't given that as an answer yet.
- 2:43:46Oh okay, you gotta wait until Jado gives the answer. Oh I'm
- 2:43:54okay, Yes, I'm absolutely okay. I'm grazing at You're okay with it?
- 2:43:56All right? Yes? Oh? Yeah? Prom throwing Wait No,
- 2:44:01nope, Nope, Pro'm denying that. No, Ope, denied. All
- 2:44:05right, yeah, Grey's Anatomy is denied. So instead of Gray's Anatomy,
- 2:44:09what answer are we gonna go with? CJ? Seinfeld? Seinfeld? Okay,
- 2:44:15let's see. First of all, we have to see if Grey's Anatomy
- 2:44:18was on this list. If it is, that's bad because this does not
- 2:44:22count. Let's see, was was Grey's Anatomy on this list? It's like
- 2:44:31number two. No, it's number nine. Ah, okay, I knew,
- 2:44:37I didn't even think about it. That's her show. Gray's Anatomy has
- 2:44:43had nineteen seasons and four hundred and twenty episodes. Nice. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:44:50so this won't be a total train wreck as long as Seinfeld is on
- 2:44:56the list. If it's not. If it's not, then CJ, you've
- 2:45:03just sent job over to the black hole. Is Seinfeld on this list?
- 2:45:11Oh that's awesome. Come on, no time he said something about friendship here.
- 2:45:28Seinfeld is not even in the top fifteen. I'm a friend. Oh
- 2:45:33man, all right, to name it? Stevie has his hand raise.
- 2:45:35Does anybody else have an answer? Stevie? You first, I was actually
- 2:45:39going to toss out American Dad after throughout that I was going to say,
- 2:45:41you guys got out. No. Family Guy, okay, American Dad has
- 2:45:48number seven. That was twenty seasons. Family Guy was number four, it's
- 2:45:54had twenty two seasons, and then Futurama was the other one has written not
- 2:45:58on this list. Friends Friends is also not on this list. It's Seinfeld
- 2:46:05and that was the other one that was mentioned throughout this. South South is
- 2:46:11not on this list. Monday Major broadcast countess specially No, that's not it's
- 2:46:22it didn't make the list. Law and Order Special Victims Unit was number two.
- 2:46:28Wow, it's had twenty four seasons more. I should have win.
- 2:46:35It's had more seasons than number three, which was the original Law and Order,
- 2:46:39which has had twenty two seasons. Oh my god, we're in the
- 2:46:43black hole together. Number five. Number five was gun Smoke because that has
- 2:46:46had twenty seasons six hundred and thirty five total episodes. Number six, Number
- 2:46:54six was n CIS, which has also had twenty seasons and four hundred and
- 2:47:00fifty seven episodes. Number eight, number eight I did not see coming this.
- 2:47:05Number eight is Lassie. Lassie has had nineteen seasons and five hundred and
- 2:47:09ninety one episode original white, Yes, one hell and the last suck with
- 2:47:16the dog down. And the last answer on this list was Criminal Minds,
- 2:47:22which has had sixteen cys and just for the curious, number eleven was CSI,
- 2:47:28number twelve was Er, number thirteen was Supernatural, number fourteen was the
- 2:47:33Jack Benny Program, and number fifteen was The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriett.
- 2:47:37Wow that list below fifteen CJ failed us, Well, you can look at
- 2:47:50it. You can look at it. However, you are your team lost
- 2:47:52for one of us. Listen, listen, you are in the black ten,
- 2:47:56correct, CJ. CJ can save you, so and fingers crossed.
- 2:48:01I'm feeling pretty positive he'll be able to do it, but we're going to
- 2:48:05find out right now, CJ, it's your turn. It's sign for the
- 2:48:09Captain's List. So things here work a little differently. For a starters.
- 2:48:13You can't be thrown into the black hole. So if you fail, you
- 2:48:16just lose any money you would have earned, and you lose the opportunity to
- 2:48:20get Jabo and Shawan back. In return, you have the option to exchange
- 2:48:26the money for Jabo and to Sean joining you on the final list. And
- 2:48:31I should tell you that is really important because every player you have with you
- 2:48:37is an additional brain, and you need them all to complete an entire list.
- 2:48:41So let me well, you already know the category is video games.
- 2:48:46That's the one you chose for yourself, and let's get started your list.
- 2:48:54CJ Top ten gaming franchises by number of titles, Okay, to clarify.
- 2:49:07To clarify, we're looking for the ten most prolific video game franchises by number
- 2:49:15of released titles according to GameRant dot com and Wikipedia. Any title released for
- 2:49:22multiple platforms only counts as one, and franchises with yearly entries have been removed
- 2:49:30from this list, so there's no Maden or FIFA. These are solely game
- 2:49:35franchises with separate and distinctive titles. This list also does not count expansions,
- 2:49:41DLC, anthologies or collections as separate titles. The main main story main yep.
- 2:49:50Okay, So whenever you're ready give me your first answer, keep going
- 2:50:01back to Grand Theft Auto. So I think I might need to start there.
- 2:50:05Grand Theft Auto is Grand Theft Auto on this list. On Grand Theft
- 2:50:24Auto did not make the list. I'm afraid not a great start. That
- 2:50:33is your free mistake gone. You still have the three s O S S.
- 2:50:39You can ask Stevie and Augie for help. That's the actor. What
- 2:50:48are you giggling about? This is a funny concept. You can ask these
- 2:50:52two for help or no, I apologize. You do not have all three?
- 2:50:58Japa used will so you have too? Yeah, you have two SOSS
- 2:51:01you can use and I would use them because they expire after this list,
- 2:51:05you know I get that. Yeah, yeah, no, I'm just trying
- 2:51:07to think if I have a solid answer before I go there. But Matt
- 2:51:11could raising his hands, So I'm gonna throw an SOS over to Matt.
- 2:51:13All right, Matt, Matt, what do you think? I think the
- 2:51:18one of the most is Mario so super Mario if that's the full tile of
- 2:51:22it, So okay, yeah, what do you think? CJ. Do
- 2:51:26you want to go with that or do you want to save it? See
- 2:51:35and this goes back to the clarifying questions, And just since Matt said the
- 2:51:39answer, I'm gonna kind of spitball with him to see Mario Brothers versus Mario
- 2:51:43World. It could be two different things there, that would be two different
- 2:51:46entries on this list. Or no, no, no, no, sorry,
- 2:51:50sorry, not on this list. That would be two different entries in
- 2:51:52the Mario franchise. That's what I mean. Oh, okay, okay,
- 2:51:56well then then yeah, I have to go with that with Mario. Do
- 2:52:01you want to go with Mario? All right? Let's see is Mario on
- 2:52:05this list? It's a good Paul mont I didn't think that way. So
- 2:52:11the game, Yeah, it's number nice. Mario has had one hundred and
- 2:52:24fifteen separate and distinct games. Marry his name? Why is he going to
- 2:52:30finish Cleayton all those pipes? Right? Never? It's because he's charging forty
- 2:52:37dollars an hour? Do you know that's the last time you see a plunder
- 2:52:43that sky? What do you want to do? You can still ask Stevian
- 2:52:46Augi and you still have one sos left to use. Mario had one hundred
- 2:52:52and how many? One hundred and fifteen? Yeah, it's a little hard
- 2:52:56to it's stupid to what it is. I gotta go with one of the
- 2:53:03biggest gamers I know, and I gotta I'm just I gotta go with with
- 2:53:07Aggie and Smoke on this, all right? I need help? Are using
- 2:53:09your Aggie and Smoke? Help? Guys? What do you think you got
- 2:53:13one. I've got seven, and that's the problem. How about this,
- 2:53:18you choose one. I'm scared because I don't know how far this range goes
- 2:53:20from one hundred and fifty to what whim with you? Man? Choose whichever
- 2:53:26one you think has the most. I think the next one that really does
- 2:53:31have the most, because there was such a big rivalry back then with Mario,
- 2:53:35would have to be Sonic. I think there's a lot of different variations
- 2:53:39of Sonic games throughout the franchise. There's so many different variants, just like
- 2:53:43there are some Mario games. I gotta agree with you there, smoke.
- 2:53:46Yeah, let's okay. You want to go with Sonic? I do?
- 2:53:48I do? I want a right? Yeah? Is Sonic the Hedgehog on
- 2:53:52this list? Poor Stevie, I expected as much stress today. You're gonna
- 2:53:58have an and yours? Come on? Yeah, it's number three. Sonic
- 2:54:07the Hedgehog has had eighty games. Eighty Okay, that's the eighty mark.
- 2:54:11Okay, if the eighty, I haven't broke the three digit mark yet,
- 2:54:16but it's got an after one. I got one, Okay, Aaron,
- 2:54:20you'll tell me if this doesn't qualify. I hope but Pokemon. Pokemon,
- 2:54:26absolutely is Pokemon on this list. Gotta be right. Yeah, it's number
- 2:54:41five Pokemon. His head thought it would be though fifty five games lower.
- 2:54:46I thought it was higher than fifty five Pokemon games total. Really, it
- 2:54:50feels like there's fifty five thousand of them. I mean, yeah, you're
- 2:54:54right, I catch many of them. That'll eventually catch them all a lot.
- 2:55:00They never end never catching the ball. You still have an SOS left
- 2:55:05that is your final help. But you do still have it. I mean,
- 2:55:11Matt, let's do it, because I got it. We gotta burn
- 2:55:13them here anyway, so let's do it. What you got. Only other
- 2:55:16one I'm confident on is I think Zelda has had a ton as well,
- 2:55:20So I think Zelda would be what I put forward, like it's it's a
- 2:55:24roundabout. I did a gate Leapers episode on it, and it was like
- 2:55:28there were forty some games maybe, and that's only a bit less than fifty,
- 2:55:31which is Pokemon. Is there fair? Yeah? All right, Yeah,
- 2:55:39this is a lot more stressful than you had to think. I I,
- 2:55:46yeah, I got it. It's my If If Zelda's wrong, it's
- 2:55:50on me. No, no, no, I think it's a solid answer.
- 2:55:54I'm really earthed about if Mario was one hundred and eighteen thousand, and
- 2:55:58what is number two? Want? I can't right, yeah, out,
- 2:56:01that's because it's not Zelda. That does not I don't think it's going to
- 2:56:03be too based on the contact. But yeah, yeah, let's go.
- 2:56:07Let's go Zelda, because I do believe it would be on here, just
- 2:56:09might be lower. So yeah, I'm down with Dela. Let's do it.
- 2:56:13Zelda is the Legend of Zelda on this list? Hello, come on?
- 2:56:28Oh shit, mine, No, I'm sorry, sorry, I absolutely
- 2:56:35would have thought. Soda the Legend of Zelda came twelfth on this list,
- 2:56:41with twenty eight separate and distinct titles. Huh can I make I guess it
- 2:56:46now that it doesn't matter? Yeah? Absolutely? What would you have thrown
- 2:56:50out there? Um? Uh oh? What is the puffy fucker that's always
- 2:56:54eating shitby No, Kirby's nowhere on this list. Fantasy Final Fantasy Final Fantasy
- 2:57:03Final Fantasy would have been number four. There have been seventy five Final Fantasy
- 2:57:09games. How many call call Call of Duty is a good guess, but
- 2:57:13it's further down than twelve, and Call of Duty has only had twenty three
- 2:57:18games. It's too Nancy Drew thirty four. Yeah, Nancy, Nancy Drew
- 2:57:26should have been on this list, but I think it was only there were
- 2:57:28only counting console titles or something there is. Yeah, it's Aaron before you
- 2:57:33actually answered this, because I want to see if Smoke would have agreed to
- 2:57:37me. This is the one. I thought you were going to say,
- 2:57:39Smoke is doom on here. No, no Doom is on this list.
- 2:57:43It's been a lot of Doom would qualify. No, I'll just go through
- 2:57:48the correct answers. Yeah. Number two is Mega Man. There have been
- 2:57:54there have been a hundred different Mega Man games, and after that we start
- 2:58:01getting into the weeds. But some of these I feel might have been gettable.
- 2:58:03Number six is Dragon Quest. There have been forty of those. Yeah,
- 2:58:07wow. Number seven is Might and Magic. There have been thirty eight
- 2:58:11of those. Number eight is Castle Vania. There have been thirty six of
- 2:58:16those. Number nine was Dungeons and Dragons. There have been thirty six different
- 2:58:20Dungeons and Dragons titles over the years, like video game titles. Yeah,
- 2:58:24I guess it would. And the last one. Number ten was Resident Evil
- 2:58:28thirty titles. That's it. Tinly thought there's been more resident Evils thanselves is
- 2:58:35it is insane. It is literally insane that there are more resident Evils than
- 2:58:39Zelda. But the fact is they only do a Zelda like once every four
- 2:58:41years, like Resident Evils like every year there's something new. The only thing
- 2:58:48I knew for sure wasn't on the list was the Elder Scrolls because they really
- 2:58:50Skyrim like ten times. It's the same. All right, Well, here's
- 2:58:56the bad news. Javo and Nishan sadly cannot help with the final list.
- 2:59:03Here's the good news. You only have seven dollars in the team prize.
- 2:59:05Fun but we have a minimum on this show. The minimum you can play
- 2:59:09for is ten dollars, but because this is the two hundredth episode, we're
- 2:59:13upping that to twenty dollars, So you will be playing for twenty dollars for
- 2:59:16your charity. And you do have Matt and Audra with you, so fingers
- 2:59:22crossed, knock on wood they get they can help Java and Nishan. I
- 2:59:26am sorry, you're gonna just sit and watch for the most part, but
- 2:59:28feel free to like have commentary ready. I'm sure you will have some ideas
- 2:59:33that you could punch in there. But we're gonna find out how the surviving
- 2:59:39members of the Rumpus Sleepers do with their final list coming up right after this.
- 2:59:52Hey, Stevie, you want to hop in the back of my van
- 2:59:54here? I got some candy for you. I don't know. My parents
- 2:59:56always told me to stay away from strange Jorges. That's oddly specific. Well,

- 3:03:28the games and we can wrap this shit astrophe up. Hey man, welcome
- 3:03:33back. Thanks Crunchy for doing those trivia breaks. Much appreciate it. Uh
- 3:03:37and uh yeah, we are down to our final list. The Rumpus Sleepers
- 3:03:43have three players in the final list and they're going to be playing for twenty
- 3:03:46dollars for their chosen charity. I'm going to give you three final categories.
- 3:03:50You can discuss as a team which category you'd like to take on, but
- 3:03:56CJ you have the final decision. So here are the categories you can play
- 3:04:01for your final list. Will Smith US States or rock bands? Oh my
- 3:04:09god, I mean I know my vote, but I'm probably it's US States
- 3:04:16or rock bands. I think I'm happy with either of those. What I'm
- 3:04:28in the black bowl, I can only make like hand gestures and be happy
- 3:04:33as disgusting as I am. The best that I'm pulling off is that,
- 3:04:39oh do you get to say in this too, because you get to compete?
- 3:04:43What do you? What do you think? I feel like Us States
- 3:04:48are rock bands, probably because I just I know very little pop culture,
- 3:04:58but I've absorbed some music in the rock seanra VMA, all right, since
- 3:05:05from both both of my my gately Berd compatriots here, I'm going with rock
- 3:05:11bands, rock fans, all right, excellent. From this point on,
- 3:05:16there is no more conferring. I'm going to show you a list with ten
- 3:05:20entries on it, just like before, but now you're gonna take turns,
- 3:05:22giving one answer at a time if you if you're correct, you stay in
- 3:05:28and you keep playing. If you're wrong, you're out of the game and
- 3:05:31you join Jabo and Nashan in the black hole. We're gonna keep playing until
- 3:05:35either all players are eliminated, or if you've managed to successfully give me all
- 3:05:41ten entries on this list, you will win twenty dollars for your chosen charity.
- 3:05:48Here we go. We're gonna start with the captain and then go in
- 3:05:50the order they were selected, so it'll go Matt, It'll go Matt and
- 3:05:54Audra after CJ. And we'll just keep rotating in that order as long as
- 3:05:58you guys stick around. So here is your list on rock bands. Ten
- 3:06:05rock bands by acronym. To clarify, I have here ten acronyms commonly used
- 3:06:11on the Internet to refer to specific rock bands. All you have to do
- 3:06:16is tell me which rock band this acronym applies to. I think I know
- 3:06:22all of these. That's excellent, I do I know. All right,
- 3:06:31captain, we're gonna start with you give me one answer and one answer only.
- 3:06:35Third eye blind. Third eye blind says CJ is third eye blind on
- 3:06:39this list. Of course, number one. I should clarify for the people
- 3:06:54listening at home who cannot see this, Cream should joined our patreon. Yeah,
- 3:07:00to be fair, the people who are on our patreot can see the
- 3:07:03video version. But for those listening, I should have said that the first
- 3:07:05acronym was three EP. The remainder are B F, M V B T
- 3:07:11O, C C R, G N R R A T M R,
- 3:07:18HCP, S O A, D S, T P, and TBS.
- 3:07:26All right, now that's done. Matt, you're up next. Please give
- 3:07:30me one answer. I'm gonna say, bullet full my Valentine is bullet for
- 3:07:37my Valentine on this list. Absolutely right, Two answers down, Eight to
- 3:07:52go, Odro, we're on to you. I'm not going in order.

- 3:08:05the machine on this list? Yeah, absolutely right. Three up, three
- 3:08:18down. We're going back to Cjner. Overdrive is Bachman Turner Overdrive on this
- 3:08:26list? Yeah, absolutely right, all right, guys. Four down,
- 3:08:39six to go, Matt, We're onto you again. I'm gonna say system
- 3:08:45of a Down. System of a down is system of a down on this
- 3:08:48list. Yeah, that's halfway there. We've got System of a Down is
- 3:08:58number one. Five, well, number eight on the list technically, but
- 3:09:03we've got five correct answers. We just need five more. Audra, back
- 3:09:07to you. That was the other one that I knew. Let's go for
- 3:09:13my other one that maybe it's an old one, so well, it's the
- 3:09:18only one that I could fan that I could think of that has this initial
- 3:09:22So Credence Clearwater Revival is Credence Clearwater Revival on this list. Yeah, absolutely
- 3:09:41right, well done, Audraw Six answers up, four answers left. CJ.
- 3:09:48Back to you, Stone Trouble Pilot, Stone Temple Pilots says CJ.
- 3:09:52Is Stone Tumble Pilots on this list? Yes, it's number nine, Well
- 3:10:03done, seven correct. Three to go, three players, Matt, You're
- 3:10:11up next. Okay, I'm gonna go with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Red
- 3:10:16Hot Chili Peppers, says Matt, and Audra says, oh shit, is
- 3:10:24red Hot Chili Peppers on this list? That is correct. There are just
- 3:10:37two answers left, GNR and TBS Audre, can you tell me what rock
- 3:10:43band? Either of those stands for? No, but I'm gonna throw something
- 3:10:50out the other one that I had like a seventy thought that it might be
- 3:10:56right. I'm just gonna make something up because might as well. Good Night,
- 3:11:05Romeo, What a way to go? Is good? This could be
- 3:11:16you? Isn't good night, Robo? No, sadly it is not good,

- 3:11:45but guns n' roses. That's okay, guns and Roses is guns and
- 3:11:50roses on this list it is, that's GNR and that is nine correct answers.
- 3:12:03There's just one left, Matt. If you can tell me what rock
- 3:12:09band TBS stands for, you will win this money right now. Otherwise it's
- 3:12:16off to the black hole. Yeah. I don't know this one, but
- 3:12:22I'm gonna I'm just gonna have to guess something. Psake of Comedy and Hima,
- 3:12:33The Best Son, the Best Son? Is it the best Son?
- 3:12:46No? Sorry, Matt, No, it was the worst son. You
- 3:12:50join Audra, Jabo and Ashan in the black hole and it comes down to
- 3:12:56our captain c J raight of that, I'm trying to think. I can't
- 3:13:13even think like this. I have no idea. The answers were hanging on
- 3:13:18the screen. I told you in five minutes during the break, I tried
- 3:13:20not to help man one. To be honest, I'm not gonna play it.
- 3:13:30I don't know if I should say this out loud. But the worst
- 3:13:31part is I've just thought of what it might be. Oh. No,
- 3:13:37West is right, No, there's no helps in the f CJ is on
- 3:13:41his own. You can do it. I know it's in. Come on,
- 3:13:48man, you got this. You know all about music's and stuff,
- 3:13:52your whole things about. I knew all nine of these except as one.
- 3:14:07Oh this is intense. I am. I am, I am vibrating.
- 3:14:13Yeah, I know it's it's not very entertaining. No, no, no,
- 3:14:18believe me, I am. I'm sure everybody is waiting with bash.
- 3:14:22Hold on, let me try to enlighten myself. Yeah, all right,
- 3:14:33got to help or just make it worse. No ideas are coming now.
- 3:14:37But I just use the wrong words backords. Oh all right, c J.
- 3:14:54That's about all the time I can give you. Yeah, we're just
- 3:15:01I got I got nothing. I really, no, you got this?
- 3:15:07Just say words with three of them with those letters in it. I haven't
- 3:15:15relate to rock bands in some way in the right combination might be correct,
- 3:15:20but Levy gets it moves backwards. I would cry, oh man, it's
- 3:15:31not it. But for the sake of saying something in the Beach Boys,
- 3:15:37all right, I know it's not I know it's not right. I just
- 3:15:41don't have it. And is the Beach Boys on this list? Fuck No,
- 3:15:52I don't believe it. I am sorry, uh so, I mean
- 3:16:00just shucked out of the hole. The first thing I have to do is
- 3:16:03because Matt had an idea, unfortunately too late, but he did have an
- 3:16:07idea. Matt, what did you think it could be? It's a bit
- 3:16:11obscure, but maybe that's Is it the Beautiful South? No, No,
- 3:16:15it's not the Beautiful South? Is it taking back Sunday? It is taking
- 3:16:18back Sunday? Nishan knew it. Oh no, we'rerolling the black hole?
- 3:16:31Is that what's happening? Oh? Man? That hurts? That hurts.
- 3:16:39Well, listen, we can't let you go away with nothing. No,
- 3:16:45we are going to do a token donation, but of course, because it's
- 3:16:50our two hundredth episode, our usual token donation is five dollars, we're gonna
- 3:16:52up that to ten dollars because it's our two hundredth episode. So we will
- 3:16:56be giving a ten dollars donation to your charity, which is Western New York
- 3:17:01Heroes. Correct. Yeah, beautiful, all right, And I've already heard
- 3:17:05several offers of matching, So thank you so much for that, Nike.
- 3:17:11Can I actually say something about that short because I'm really feeling that shitty about
- 3:17:18this right now. Ah, you know, please don't man, don't put
- 3:17:20yourself off for it. It is literally all just in good fun and we're
- 3:17:24having a time. If you if you want to donate more, please feel
- 3:17:28free. No, it's what I'm doing there there, Matt. If I
- 3:17:31heard matching correctly, that would bring us up to thirty. Am I right
- 3:17:35on that between proper Rumpus and the gaily Verse? Yes, I think so.
- 3:17:43I'm going to kick it up to make it two one hundred for the
- 3:17:45two hundred anniverse, two hundredth episode of the applat w, I will get
- 3:17:48you the remaining one hundred and seventy. Are you serious? We are going
- 3:17:52to give you two hundred dollars good bust from New Yorkers. I'm not letting.
- 3:17:54I'm not letting, fucking taking back Sunday. You know what, we
- 3:18:03gotta tag them in this. It's your fault, fuckers. Yeah, all
- 3:18:09three of us should have known. Oh my god, I will get that
- 3:18:15to you. That's coming all right? Well, oh god, oh my
- 3:18:18god, in that case, uh wow, damn, in that case,
- 3:18:26if if everybody, you know, if everybody's gonna do that and add donations
- 3:18:31onto everything. Our first game, The Tooker's Wild, Russ and Lauren won
- 3:18:35twenty seven to fifty for their charity. Nice our second game, Take Your
- 3:18:39Chances, Karen won two hundred and thirty dollars and ninety nine cents for her
- 3:18:43charity. So with with their donation and all of that, that means for
- 3:18:50this two hundredth episode Game Show Spectacular, we will have as a group donated
- 3:18:56four hundred and fifty eight dollars in fours, which is absolutely insane. Oh
- 3:19:09my god, that's awesome. I am as the seeing as how our team
- 3:19:20bears half of my name, and every time I come on the show,
- 3:19:26I do so horribly. I figure as a company, we could at least
- 3:19:31try to do something halfway decent. So one thing, I've been on the
- 3:19:35show, and every time I've been on the show, I've been a loser.
- 3:19:39No, no, it's like a casino, right, No, take
- 3:19:45the American way out of this, and we're gonna tim to buy ourselves some
- 3:19:48charity. So we'll double, We'll double the two hundred and make it four.
- 3:19:54Hell guys, please stop, it goes to veterans man like it does
- 3:20:01for me. It's for me. It's kind of a no brainer. And
- 3:20:03any type of group that wants to that wants to do good things for for
- 3:20:07people that have decided to make the countries, the country's safety their their personal
- 3:20:15job. You know, it's it's it's something to be held, So why
- 3:20:18the funk not? And yeah, I got to back that up as well
- 3:20:22as the fact that they helped a friend of mine in smoke and and so
- 3:20:26that's that, you know, it's it's a double wind for me that we're
- 3:20:28helping veterans as a whole, but we're also helped a good friend of mine.
- 3:20:31And so yeah, no, I'm a I'm off for it. So
- 3:20:35guys, you guys going to make Stee cry. That's that's that's matching on
- 3:20:39behalf and those tears are infused. We could make money off that. So
- 3:20:43you're wasting money. You can get the high. This is why, this
- 3:20:50is why we invite you guys on time and time again, because you are
- 3:20:52literally the best humans anywhere. So thank you so much for take part in
- 3:21:01your generous donations. Yes, I have, and I still hold to my
- 3:21:05word. I believe myself. I am correct. Is he is one of
- 3:21:09the best humans. A certain word that none of us use that he uses
- 3:21:11a lot, so you should be good. I can't say it now.
- 3:21:20Is it moist from that sexual voice. Yes, yes, yes it is,
- 3:21:28Yes it is. I need to thank uh these incredible human beings.
- 3:21:33CJ from Proper Rumpus and as DJ's Anthus on radio airwaves. Please check out
- 3:21:39DJ's anthesis shows Matt and Nodra from the gate Leapers. I genuinely love you
- 3:21:46guys and Jabo and Sean every time. It's an absolute delight. I know
- 3:21:50you think of yourself as losers, but please don't know. Please, as
- 3:21:54far as we're concerned, you are the best winners ever. At the end
- 3:21:56of the day, we're doing this because we're friends. Yes, fun,
- 3:22:00they were doing charity, so we want either way, everybody wins, I
- 3:22:03feel, and that's the way it should be. So I need to thank
- 3:22:07all these people because they have made our two hundred episode just spectacular. It
- 3:22:13didn't end the way I want it, sure, but it was a lot
- 3:22:16of fun and it was It was incredibly thrilling, and we're doing a lot
- 3:22:22of good for a charity that means a lot to us specifically, so that
- 3:22:26is incredible. And I of course need to thank my buddies Stevie and Aggie
- 3:22:31here. I know, I know our game is pretty much focused on all
- 3:22:33our guests, so Stevie and Aggie haven't had as much to do for this
- 3:22:37two hundredth episode. I hope you think of it as more of a vacation.
- 3:22:45I'm giving you some well deserved time. It's shining a spotlight on the
- 3:22:50guests who have made b FY tw as incredible as it's been for two hundred
- 3:22:56episodes. And we appreciate really do like you guys coming on here, letting
- 3:23:01us sit back and actually laugh like with you guys performing, it was kind
- 3:23:05of nice. So for two hundred it was nice. All we had to
- 3:23:09do is get everything set up and hit like record and we're just gonna sit
- 3:23:11back and laugh and everything like this is great like TV. We should do
- 3:23:13this more often. Yeah, I'll come back on all for too, every
- 3:23:16time I come on this show. That's the case, because I was here
- 3:23:18for the thing in Red Bank and you didn't compete on that one and he
- 3:23:26got beat bad. Yeah, and I got beat to a pulp which is
- 3:23:30on brand. So that is going to be it from us for this episode
- 3:23:37two hundred. Uh CJ. Where can people find you and the cool things
- 3:23:41that you do? Uh? You can find me multiple places you can first,

- 3:26:13uh umbrella. I've had smoke on there, you know, smoking with the
- 3:26:16atim old episode right now, the craziest show that we have going ruckus juice
- 3:26:26with myself and and I go nuts. It's it's a labor of insanity.
- 3:26:31Uh. By the paywall, we just uh reinstated Jabbo and the team.
