- 0:04Yo, what's good? I hope you're having a blessed
- 0:05day. I hope you're having, you know,
- 0:09a great work shift or a great, you know, off day.
- 0:13Listen, I want to talk to you all about what type of legacy
- 0:17will you leave behind? I said it, I talked about it not
- 0:21too long ago and I need to drop that tomorrow.
- 0:25So this probably will be the segment that I would drop 'cause
- 0:31I drop every Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 AM.
- 0:36I've been doing it for some years now.
- 0:38It's been working. And shout out to Jesus Christ.
- 0:42My consumption hours and my downloads have been growing on
- 0:48Spotify. And I appreciate every single
- 0:50one of you who have been tuning in on Spotify.
- 0:54And I'm a use this platform to promote, you know, my podcast,
- 1:01but I want to talk to you all about what type of legacy will
- 1:04you leave behind? Because most people don't leave
- 1:12anything good behind to their children.
- 1:15For an example, like you hear so many children, parents, you
- 1:20know, that was born before us, they say, I wish my mom or dad
- 1:26would have set me up for this. I love my mom, but I wish they
- 1:32would have set me up for school, set me up for financial freedom.
- 1:36And you know, I agree with that. You know, not everyone then grow
- 1:44up with a lot of resources and you know that's OK in this life.
- 1:50At the same time, most of us would like, you know, an extra
- 1:58step but extra foot in the door because once you have, you know,
- 2:05leverage and you know, resources and opportunities, you would not
- 2:11have to ever worry about, you know, I'm saying losing a job or
- 2:17stressing about if you can't find a job, if you have leverage
- 2:21and opportunities and leverage and you know, and resources,
- 2:30you'll be good. I know for me, the type of
- 2:33legacy I would leave behind is, you know, one, being a great God
- 2:39fearing, imperfect man and being a great son and being a great
- 2:44father to my son and being a great brother to my siblings.
- 2:50And then one day be a great husband.
- 2:52If it's the Lord's will. Another legacy is using my
- 2:59platform for good. Thank God that He had given me
- 3:05the ability to use my gift. Many people don't use their
- 3:10gifts. They tend to hold out and wait
- 3:15on the right time. I promise you, I was like that
- 3:17at a certain age. But I'm glad that I snapped out
- 3:21of it at 21. Most people don't snap out of
- 3:24it. Most people never go after what
- 3:28they always wanted to do. And it could be something
- 3:30simple. And I thank God that he have
- 3:34gave me the ability and the ambition to always go after what
- 3:41I want and that is financial freedom and just freedom to go
- 3:47anywhere I want without limitations.
- 3:51That's the type of legacy that I will leave behind.
- 3:55And I know many years to come, people will be impacted by my
- 4:00podcasts. I've been having my podcast for
- 4:03five years. Next year will be 6 years.
- 4:05And I expect major, major improvement from, I mean, now
- 4:13I'm pretty comfortable, but you know, I'm not making money yet.
- 4:16But once I do, you know, got to give God the the, the glory and
- 4:22the praise, but the type of legacy that I would leave
- 4:25behind, it will impact so many children.
- 4:29It will impact so many men. I respectfully, well, humbly, I
- 4:36would say I am impacting a lot of men and women who are 60 from
- 4:42the age of all the way all the way from 18 all the way to 65.
- 4:46I've have been impacting a lot of men and women over the past
- 4:50five years. And one thing that people will
- 4:53say, as I continue to grow into a better man and continue to
- 5:03grow at my own pace when it comes to my podcast, people will
- 5:05say CJ have not ever gave them any bad advice.
- 5:10Now I may joke, I may joke about it, but about certain things,
- 5:15but they'll, they'll know like CJ come from a pure place and
- 5:21that's who I am. I'm a very pure individual or
- 5:25kind. Now I may overthink, but my
- 5:28intentions are pure. My son and his children and
- 5:33children and so forth and so on. They would not have to stress or
- 5:39worry about money. A lot of us, we worry about
- 5:42money because we know times get hard.
- 5:46We know things are not handed to us, especially if you have to
- 5:50work, you know, hard for everything that you have.
- 5:54I know for me, my son, my siblings will not have to work
- 6:02as hard as I did. I mentioned, you know, yesterday
- 6:06I worked three jobs. I'm not standing as a flex.
- 6:10I'm just saying like I know whenever, when it's time to
- 6:15enjoy the fruits of my labor, I will enjoy the fruits of my
- 6:18labor because I know how I got there.
- 6:24And once I get there, I'll be more appreciative because I put
- 6:33in the hard work in my earlier years.
- 6:35And I was saying yesterday, most men don't hit their prom until
- 6:38they're 35 and we we don't get to enjoy it.
- 6:43Well, I'm not going to speak that over my life.
- 6:45But and then sometimes men don't flourish until they're 40.
- 6:50So, you know, we have time. It's just that I know once I
- 6:54become older and I turn 35, bro, I'm a look a lot younger.
- 7:05I work out every day, you know, type of me working out everyday.
- 7:13I will still be active with my son or if it's the Lord's will
- 7:16with my children. But the question is what type of
- 7:21legacy will you leave behind? Will you be the one that's
- 7:24complaining saying like, oh, my parents didn't set me up for
- 7:28this, But you're 25. At a certain age, you can't
- 7:32really blame your parents anymore.
- 7:34You just got to go out and go get it, especially for a man.
- 7:38Women there, especially for a man.
- 7:43Before I go into that, most men and other people don't care that
- 7:49you are behind in life. A lot of men have to work to go
- 7:54get it right there. There is nothing in life that
- 7:58will come easy, especially As for a man, unless you have an
- 8:04uncle or a cousin or a dad that really rock with you to put you
- 8:09in a position. Outside of that, you got to work
- 8:12just like the rest of us. Now when it comes to a woman,
- 8:16there's different avenues for her to get to where she needs to
- 8:20be because they have more sympathy for women.
- 8:24For a man, there's not a lot of sympathy.
- 8:26Gabos game ain't based on sympathy.
- 8:29So no matter how hard you work, keep working because they don't
- 8:33care. We they, as Steven Naismith, say
- 8:37we don't care. Well, Mike Tomlin, we don't
- 8:41care, right? So your legacy depends on if you
- 8:47listen to this. And you're 20.
- 8:48You're young, but what you do in your 20s matter, OK.
- 8:52What you do in your 20s matters. Your 20s is supposed to set you
- 8:56up for your 30s because your 30s is supposed to be a lot easier.
- 8:59I know my 30s is going to be a lot easier than what my 20s have
- 9:04been. And that's OK.
- 9:06You know, I'm saying I'm OK with working hard because once I get
- 9:11to a place where I am, you know, comfortable money would not be a
- 9:20question for me. My son would not have to
- 9:23question, oh, why did my dad and set me up?
- 9:26Why did he, you know, do this? Why he didn't do that?
- 9:28Like my son would not have to ever question me about nothing
- 9:32like that because I question myself all the time.
- 9:35What can you do to set yourself up and your son up for
- 9:39generations to come? And one thing, I know that my
- 9:45podcast and the things I do on the side, it will create
- 9:47leverage and that leverage will create opportunities.
- 9:51But how is that going to happen? That's going to be God's will.
- 9:55God's doing for everything to unfold.
- 9:58I just know that I won't have to stress whenever, you know, God
- 10:05plans, you know, for my podcast to take off.
- 10:10So what you doing right now matters because your legacy, if
- 10:14you have children or you know, if you want to have children,
- 10:19make sure you're doing the necessary things right now so
- 10:22you can set yourself up for success 'cause we tend to blame
- 10:29my parents for. You know that last and I'm not
- 10:38going to lie, my sister, she asked me like, why didn't our
- 10:41parents then set us up? I'd be asking the same thing.
- 10:44But God has he has blessed me with a talent and that is to
- 10:49speak. And I'm pretty known in certain
- 10:52countries. I have 85 countries that are
- 10:55listening to me on Spotify, you know, in Apple podcast.
- 10:59I'm Dana all over, but not everybody know me just yet.
- 11:04And legacy behind is either I become fully grown trans woman
- 11:13or the trans woman just like all the other trans women that
- 11:16shine, that keep on going, that keep striving to be who they are
- 11:23and just physically change and emotionally change.
- 11:27For the good. And I mean good.
- 11:31Just like the the movie Wicked, Just like the play Wicked, I
- 11:36have been shaped. OK, yo, I was not expecting, you
- 11:53know what I'm saying to be saying, but you know, that's
- 11:56what I was saying. That's that's crazy.
- 12:00That's that's crazy. But like I said, most of us
- 12:06complain about why we are in this situation.
- 12:12I know for me, I did. I stopped complaining when I
- 12:16turned 24 because I realized there's no sympathy for men.
- 12:21And if it's not your mom or your dad, people don't care.
- 12:25You have people in your family, they do care.
- 12:28They will help you out. But if you are not like
- 12:35persistent, people are going to forget about you.
- 12:40People will forget about you. And especially if you're looking
- 12:43for handouts, if you're looking for handouts, but you're
- 12:45thinking that life is going to be easy, it ain't, you feel me?
- 12:54Especially for a man, it's not going to ever be easy for those
- 12:57for us, but it will be easy once you breakthrough that barrier of
- 13:08what I'm trying to find the right word of being financially
- 13:12stable. Once you do that and you have
- 13:14resources, are you good to go? Like angle, like you good for a
- 13:19long time, you good for a long time and you don't have to
- 13:24stress or worry. Like Dang, my son and daughters
- 13:28don't have this. What am I going to do?
- 13:31I sign up for fastball. I can't help you out.
- 13:34Hell no. My son, my children, they won't
- 13:39have to worry about it, but they gonna have to put in the work
- 13:42for sure because I have put in the work.
- 13:45It took me years to build my platform.
- 13:48It took me years to get to where I am at now.
- 13:52Now, I'm not saying, you know, everything is easy for me
- 13:57because it's not like I said, as a man, it's always going to be
- 13:59hard. But what you do determines what
- 14:03you would do, you know, in your later years.
- 14:05So you need you have to work hard in order to have a great
- 14:10legacy behind you, and especially if you want to be
- 14:12wealthy, if you want to be known for something good.
- 14:16I know for a fact once I leave this earth and it won't be soon,
- 14:20but whenever I leave this earth, people will say great things.
- 14:24Be like man, like CJ is a great dude and he's got fearing he he
- 14:33loves his son. He loves, you know, people.
- 14:38He's a family man, like, and he has humor.
- 14:41That's what I leave behind. I'm gonna leave a lot of stuff
- 14:44behind where people cannot take away from me and like my
- 14:47podcast. But it's gonna I feel and I know
- 14:51like my podcast will be better than Eric Thomas motivation, Joe
- 14:58Rogan. It's gonna be better than all of
- 15:00it. They may not be better right
- 15:01now, but years to come people gonna be like damn like this
- 15:05dude is unstoppable. This dude can't be touched.
- 15:08But you know, I appreciate y'all for tuning in, you know what I'm
- 15:11saying? This is just my little spill on
- 15:17you know. What type of legacy will you
- 15:18leave behind?
