- 1:24I'm your host, Tamara K.
- 1:26Anderson, and joining me today are two amazing women.
- 1:31Bonnie, my co host.
- 1:32Bonnie, thank you so much for being.
- 1:35Good to have you.
- 1:36Thanks for letting me come back.
- 1:38Appreciate it.
- 1:40And one of the members of our amazing Women warriors of Light advisory board, Sandy Falter.
- 1:47Sandy, thanks so much for being here today.
- 1:49Happy to be here.
- 1:50Thanks.
- 1:52Okay, guys, today we are diving into a woman in the Old Testament and she is one of the few in the Bible that is called a prophetess.
- 2:06Her name is Huldah.
- 2:09But before we dive into her story, we need to learn a little bit about the time in which she lived.
- 2:15And she lived under the reign of King Josiah, who was actually one of the few righteous kings of Judah in the times of the Old Testament.
- 2:25And so we need to know a little bit about him before we dive into hold this story because her prophecy relates to his story.
- 2:36Okay.
- 2:37Now, Josiah became king of Judah when he was 8 years old.
- 2:42And he decided that he wanted to be a righteous king.
- 2:47And so he worked really, really hard to clear out idolatry, to bring in the covenants and the promises that had been made in olden times.
- 2:59And one of the bless of him diving into this and restoring the temple is while they were in the process of restoring the beauty of the temple is they actually came across a book of the law that was
- 3:14given to Moses in his day and time.
- 3:18And so the.
- 3:19The Priests in his time, they were so excited.
- 3:22They bring this book of the law to Josiah, and they read it to him.
- 3:27And because he could see the wickedness of the people around him.
- 3:30And he.
- 3:31This.
- 3:32This book of the law talked about if the people forsake God, that all the prophecies of doom and gloom that would come upon them.
- 3:41And so Josiah, when he heard this, he was just mortified.
- 3:46And he grieved and he wept and he prayed for himself and his people and just.
- 3:52I mean, he was heartbroken.
- 3:54Any other background that I'm missing that you guys feel I need to bring up?
- 4:00No, just that, like, a lot of BAAL worship, right?
- 4:03And so when he got rid of all those idols, it was a lot of the.
- 4:08They were tied into the Canaanite rituals and the idol worship and stuff like that.
- 4:14And I thought that was really interesting.
- 4:15And another interesting note is that because his father was killed, his mother became regent.
- 4:23So because he was eight years old, he was too young to reign.
- 4:27And so his mother took over until he became of age.
- 4:30But even at a young age, he had this desire to serve the lord.
- 4:35My son's 8, and I told him today.
- 4:38I told them the story last night of Josiah and the whole thing.
- 4:42And my Adam, like, buddy, he's your age.
- 4:45And he was like, so I could be king.
- 4:47I'm like, no, the point is that he was too young to reign, and he.
- 4:51So he listened to his mother.
- 4:53And so that's an interesting thing.
- 4:55A side note that his mom must have been in herself knowing something wasn't quite right, and help guiding him and helping him.
- 5:03And I love that he had a.
- 5:05A team of righteous high priests and Jews and stuff like that who were helping guide him and mold him so that he could become the king.
- 5:14So just a thought of, like, who are the people in our lives that have helped us shape our destiny and shape our testimonies and, you know, our mentors and things like that.
- 5:26So just kind of a total, like, one.
- 5:29Knowing that one thing about him being little means kind of a lot.
- 5:35I love that.
- 5:36Thank you.
- 5:36Thank you.
- 5:37Thank you.
- 5:38Okay, so if you want to join us, we're in 2nd Chronicles, chapter 34, and we're going to pick up here in verse 21.
- 5:49So I've kind of given you the backstory, summarized it a little bit, and thank you, Bonnie, for your insight.
- 5:54That was perfect.
- 5:55This is Isaiah, the servant of the King, said, Verse 21, Go inquire of the Lord for me and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found.
- 6:08So they had found this book of the law.
- 6:10For great is the wrath of the Lord that is poured out upon us because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord to do after all that is written in this book.
- 6:22And Hilkiah.
- 6:23And they that the king had appointed went to Huldah, the prophetess, the wife of Shalom, the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasra, keeper of the wardrobe, and she dwelt in Jerusalem.
- 6:37And they spake to her after that effect.
- 6:41Okay, and so they go to Huldah.
- 6:46And I want to tie in a verse that the same story is told in.
- 6:51Second Kings, chapter 22.
- 6:54And in verse 14 there.
- 6:55There's a phrase there that I'd like to just tie in because I think it's important.
- 6:59It says, and they communed with her.
- 7:03So I'm sure they talked to her.
- 7:05We were cleaning out the temple, we found this book.
- 7:08We read it to Josiah, kind of giving the backstory there.
- 7:13And they talked to her about here.
- 7:16What.
- 7:17What do you have to say?
- 7:18She was known as a prophetess.
- 7:20And I'm going to pause right there and just ask for any thoughts or comments up to this point.
- 7:26Sandy, let's start with you and Bonnie, if you have any after that.
- 7:31So I.
- 7:31I love the setup of this story.
- 7:33And part of that is Josiah's tender heart.
- 7:38It's clear that the mother's influence helped her son to have a tender heart, an open heart, a broken heart.
- 7:47As a grief coach, I am interested in words, right?
- 7:51When I study.
- 7:52And the fact that when he read this, he rent his clothes, right?
- 7:57He was distressed and he felt grief and sorrow, and it was this deep feeling because he had a tender and an open heart.
- 8:07And I love synonyms and things about that.
- 8:10It was remorse and repentance and willingness to be humble before the Lord.
- 8:15And, you know, he could have just blown it off.
- 8:18But because of his willingness to be humble before God, he asked for more.
- 8:22He asked for more direction and said, please go to this prophetess, which we don't know much about her, but that's who he sent them to.
- 8:32So she must have been known as a faithful woman of God who speaks for God.
- 8:38And that's what we'll continue to see as we read as, that she speaks the word of the Lord.
- 8:44She's not giving her.
- 8:46Well, maybe it means this.
- 8:47No, she speaks for God.
- 8:49And I love her boldness in standing in her calling.
- 8:53And.
- 8:54And that they knew.
- 8:55I love the word commune.
- 8:58Right.
- 8:59They.
- 8:59They went to commune with her.
- 9:01She didn't just come in.
- 9:02And.
- 9:02And they know they spent time they communing is.
- 9:06Is personal.
- 9:08And I love that it gives a little bit of her character.
- 9:11Even though all that we hear is her boldness in really declaring God's word.
- 9:17But those little words give us some clue as to maybe what people thought of her and knew of her.
- 9:24Her faithfulness and that they could come and it was a safe space to really feel of her goodness and her love before she then gives the.
- 9:35The word of God to them.
- 9:38I love that.
- 9:39And one thought I had while you were talking, Sandy, is that perhaps Josiah went to hold that because he had such an example of a light as a mother, you know, that he had found someone trustworthy that he.
- 9:56That pointed him to God and his mother.
- 9:59And so he, you know, he obviously had Hilka.
- 10:03Hilkiah, the high priest, who he had learned to trust and who found these scrolls and stuff like that.
- 10:09So.
- 10:09So he had good male mentors as well.
- 10:12But anyway, it's interesting that we end up here.
- 10:15Bonnie, thoughts?
- 10:16I love that Hilkiah, the high priest, was willing to bring in Hulda, that they were willing to consult her.
- 10:25We can talk about this in a minute after you kind of read the prophecy and what she says.
- 10:29But I think about what did she do to become this prophetess?
- 10:36Like, what was in her daily life that I can learn from and as.
- 10:43Because when I read this story and I started diving in and I was researching on gotquestions.org and all the different Christian sites and everything and.
- 10:52And reading the Scriptures and whatnot, it really, like, that was the thing that stuck out to me the most, was what am I supposed to glean from her?
- 11:00And then I felt this, like, peaceful moment of an invitation to become like her.
- 11:08And initially I was like, well, what you want me to be a prophet?
- 11:13And.
- 11:14And I kind of felt like how my father was saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, relax.
- 11:18Like, I'm not calling you to be some leader of a church or anything like that, but I am calling you to know me.
- 11:26I am calling you to proclaim my word and to proclaim your testimony of me.
- 11:35I want you to speak my words, be in a place where you can be a conduit at all times, that when you open your mouth, I speak through you.
- 11:49And he said, that is the message of Hulda that I want you to say.
- 11:55So we can talk more about that in a minute.
- 11:57But it was a really powerful experience for me reading the scripture.
- 12:03So I am curious what you know, you guys took from that too well.
- 12:08And it ties in that verse that we were.
- 12:09That I opened the whole session with in Revelation that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
- 12:16And if we can attune ourselves, he can speak through us.
- 12:21So it's beautiful.
- 12:22All right, well, let's.
- 12:23Let's get to hold those prophecy here.
- 12:27Verse 23.
- 12:30And she answered them, thus saith the Lord God of Israel, tell ye the man that sent you to me.
- 12:37Thus saith the Lord.
- 12:38Behold, I will bring evil upon this place and upon the inhabitants thereof.
- 12:44Even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah, because they have forsaken me and have burned incense unto other gods that they might provoke me to anger with all
- 12:57the works of their hands.
- 12:59Therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place and shall not be quenched.
- 13:05And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, so shall ye say unto him, thus saith the Lord God of Israel, concerning the words which thou hast heard, because thine heart was tender.
- 13:18And thou didst humble thyself before God when thou heardest his words against this place and against the inhabitants thereof.
- 13:26And humblest thyself before me.
- 13:28And didst rend thy clothes and weep before me.
- 13:32I have even heard thee also, saith the Lord.
- 13:36Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace.
- 13:43Neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place and upon the inhabitants of the same.
- 13:51So they brought the king word again.
- 13:56So this prophecy where she said, thus saith the Lord several times.
- 14:03So she was speaking for God.
- 14:06It was destruction against the people who were not listening to God.
- 14:11They were following after other gods.
- 14:15But a blessing to Josiah for his tender heart.
- 14:20Like you were saying, Sandy, for his humility for, oh my goodness, we've been living this way and it's wrong and I need to change.
- 14:30And so I love that Holda was able to voice this, both the blessing and the curse.
- 14:38And I think you have to be bold in order to speak for God, because you.
- 14:43There's no mincing of words here, people.
- 14:45There really isn't.
- 14:46She speaks confidently and boldly for God.
- 14:50And I'm sure she was very careful in letting that testimony of Jesus speak through her as a prophetess.
- 14:58Any thoughts, Bonnie?
- 14:59We'll start with you and then we'll.
- 15:01Go to Sandy again this Must not have been the first time, right?
- 15:07They knew who she was they knew she could speak from God.
- 15:09She must have had other moments where she spoke something and they come to.
- 15:13Came to fruition.
- 15:14She must have had a powerful testimony and people trusted her, loved her.
- 15:18Kind of like what was Sandy was saying, right?
- 15:20Because she's calling on destruction.
- 15:24And I think about her boldness and her confidence.
- 15:28She knew that she was a conduit of him.
- 15:31She'd had more than enough experiences to know I am God's hands.
- 15:38He wants to work through me.
- 15:40And again, that's a testimony to me to get to that place in my life where I can be confident in what I say and confident in my testimony of him and confident that God can use me.
- 15:52Just little old me who's sitting here in, you know, rural Idaho doing nothing like he can use all of us.
- 16:00And I feel all of these scripture stories that are in the scriptures are in here for a reason, Right?
- 16:08They're not just fun reads.
- 16:10They're for us to learn from and for us to take as a metaphor and a type and a shadow of who God is inviting us to either be or warning us not to be like.
- 16:21Right.
- 16:22There's both sides of the coin.
- 16:23And in this particular case, I feel like he's calling us to be Hulda in our own lives.
- 16:30How can we get to that point where we can be a conduit?
- 16:35And when we pray, we hear his voice.
- 16:38And when we hear his voice, we act and we do and we say whatever we are prompted, and we trust that the outcome will be for our good.
- 16:51It doesn't mean that everyone's going to react.
- 16:53I'm sure a lot of people did not react kindly to this revelation.
- 16:58Right.
- 16:59But she trusted in that God's will will be done and it will be for our good.
- 17:05And how many times have we been told to do something, we've received some sort of prompting and it's contrary to our former understanding or it seems crazy or bold or it's counterculture or whatever.
- 17:18And we're like, I don't know.
- 17:20I don't know if I can.
- 17:21Well, here's another examp example of someone who's done that and stood in her knowledge.
- 17:28Can we be as bold as Hulda?
- 17:32I hope so, because he's asking us to be.
- 17:34In this day and age, we live in a crazy time.
- 17:38We need more.
- 17:39Hold us.
- 17:40Yeah.
- 17:41Oh, so, so good.
- 17:43And I can't wait to talk more about that.
- 17:45Sandy, let's hear what you have to say first.
- 17:48So do you have people in your life when you are confused and you need advice that you know will speak truth, that you know you can call on.
- 17:59And they will.
- 18:01They're in touch with the spirit of God, right?
- 18:05They.
- 18:05They are in touch.
- 18:06And you know that they will speak truth.
- 18:08They will testify of him, and they'll help you stay centered and.
- 18:12And lean not to our own understanding.
- 18:14Right?
- 18:15And.
- 18:16And so I feel like this wasn't his first time having an experience with Hulda.
- 18:21He knew that he could send them to Hulda, and she had that reputation.
- 18:27And it made me stop and pause and think, do people know that if they come to me, I will testify of God's goodness and.
- 18:37And his commandments and his law.
- 18:43That.
- 18:43That there's truth there.
- 18:45She didn't say, well, you know, you'll.
- 18:47You'll probably be okay.
- 18:48No, she said, no, this is not okay.
- 18:51This is not God's way.
- 18:54Your people need to repent or they will be destroyed.
- 18:56Right?
- 18:57And so she speaks truth.
- 18:59She's not apologetic.
- 19:00She speaks the word of God.
- 19:02And I just want to be like Holda.
- 19:05I want people to know that if they come to me when.
- 19:09That I will be firm in my conviction of Christ, that I will bring others to truth and to his power and goodness through keeping his word.
- 19:19And I want to be that beacon like she is.
- 19:22That's what I felt called like.
- 19:24Do people.
- 19:24Do people know they can come to you, too?
- 19:27I loved that.
- 19:27That was probably one of the biggest things.
- 19:29And then the fact that she testified of his law.
- 19:33She knew his words.
- 19:35She read the law, and she know that's.
- 19:36That's true.
- 19:37The truth is there's safety in obeying God's word, and she wasn't apologetic about that, but also the promised blessings that come when we repent, when we do what is right.
- 19:48And she testified of his goodness and his mercy there as well.
- 19:51So I.
- 19:52I just loved all that we learned in those few verses from Hulda.
- 19:57What you guys have said is amazing.
- 19:59So thank you.
- 20:00Thank you.
- 20:00Thank you for sharing that.
- 20:02I am so in awe of her because I think there's a part of my soul that I want to speak good things, not harsh things.
- 20:13Do you know what I mean?
- 20:16Those harsh.
- 20:18The.
- 20:18The proclamation there that, you know, the people were going to be destroyed.
- 20:24You know, like, she had to say that.
- 20:27And.
- 20:28And so I think there's a part of me that desires the good side of it, not the hard side of it, but they go hand in hand.
- 20:34And so you can't pick up one side of it without the other.
- 20:38And so there's a Part of me that now looking at this and knowing that God wants.
- 20:45Invites us to have a testimony of Jesus, this spirit of prophecy.
- 20:49There's a part of me that's a little hesitant to ask for it.
- 20:52Do you know what I mean?
- 20:53I'm like, I just want the good stuff.
- 20:55Thanks very much.
- 20:56But at the same time, we live in a wicked world, and it's important that we speak truth so that others can see and recognize, you know what?
- 21:06I am not happy being wicked.
- 21:09You know, they were worshiping idols.
- 21:12And sometimes I think we look at these people and, like, all the time in the Old Testament with the.
- 21:18This cycle of I'm good, and then we're wicked, and.
- 21:22And we kind of look down on them, but in truth, we're the same way.
- 21:26Do you know what I mean?
- 21:27We are in the exact same pattern.
- 21:29And we live in times when it is so easy to just slip down that slope into little habits that we're worshiping.
- 21:39We're putting other things above God, which is what idolatry is.
- 21:43How many times are we doing that in our own lives?
- 21:46What have we set up as an idol?
- 21:49Is it the size of our home?
- 21:51Is it the clothes that we wear?
- 21:52There are so many.
- 21:54The type of car that we drive?
- 21:56There are so many things that we can set up as idols that become so important in our lives over God.
- 22:04Bonnie, you look like you have something.
- 22:06To say, so you.
- 22:07Well, you bring up a really good point.
- 22:09And when we dive into what an idol is, right?
- 22:12And we think about all the different types of things that can be idols, it's when we.
- 22:18Okay, so what came to my mind was, like, Wikipedia and, like, chat gbt and looking to all these other sources for information and direction.
- 22:29All of the influencers that are out there, right?
- 22:32And where are we getting our inspiration and our knowledge from?
- 22:38Is it the scriptures?
- 22:41Is it, you know, from people like Sandy said, Like, who was.
- 22:45Who was our mentors?
- 22:46Are they pointing us to Christ and am I being that type of mentor?
- 22:50Right?
- 22:50And.
- 22:51And it's not.
- 22:51And I'm not saying that we shouldn't follow podcasts or influencers or anything like that, obviously, because here we are doing a podcast.
- 22:59But.
- 23:00But what I am saying is I need to examine really closely who I'm setting up as a light, right?
- 23:09There's a scripture that my husband always says in Isaiah about being leery of people who set themselves up as a light.
- 23:17How do you know what scripture I'm talking about?
- 23:19Like, woe unto those who are a light unto themselves.
- 23:22It what that means is they're looking at themselves as the healer.
- 23:28They are the answer.
- 23:30Look to me for the answer.
- 23:32I can heal you.
- 23:33I can help you.
- 23:34Right?
- 23:35And Sandy and I are in similar professions, right?
- 23:38And we as a profession have to be really careful about setting ourselves up as the healer.
- 23:45Right?
- 23:45And I.
- 23:46Drives me insane when a client says something like, thanks for healing me.
- 23:50I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 23:51Like, hang on.
- 23:53Like, I'm sorry that if at any point in our session or at any point with our interaction, I have led you to believe that I am the one who is fixing the problem, because I am not.
- 24:04That is God and that is your faith.
- 24:07And you working with him that is creating the change in your life, right?
- 24:12Even a prophet and even your bishop and pastor and preacher, they are not the healer.
- 24:18It is God.
- 24:19And it is your faith in him that creates that repentance, that creates that change in your life.
- 24:30We have to be really careful how we word those things.
- 24:34Does that make sense?
- 24:35Absolutely.
- 24:36Sandy, any thoughts on that or something else that you wanted to point out?
- 24:40I just.
- 24:41I think that it's so beautiful how she was willing to testify of truth.
- 24:49I just.
- 24:50I just keep coming back to that and that Josiah's heart was open to.
- 24:54I want.
- 24:55I want to go to someone who will speak truth.
- 24:58I know that she will speak God's word.
- 25:02And I think it is important who we're turning to, who are we looking to?
- 25:08And that has made such a difference in my life.
- 25:11Both.
- 25:11I can see when I liked to commiserate with people, when I maybe didn't want to do something.
- 25:18And I'll just hang with these people because they have the same thought, right?
- 25:24But when I go to those mentors who will turn me to Christ and help me.
- 25:28Recenter.
- 25:28I love Proverbs 3.
- 25:305, where it talks about trusting God and leaning not to our own understanding.
- 25:34And.
- 25:35And when we lean, we're.
- 25:36We're not centered.
- 25:37And so continually being aware of that and re centering ourselves and having those people, those prophets in our life or a prophetess, he knew he could go to her.
- 25:49She would speak God's word and he was willing to listen.
- 25:52I think that speaks to Josiah.
- 25:54He wanted truth.
- 25:55And are we seeking for truth?
- 25:57And then on the other hand, are we like Hulda?
- 26:00And are we willing to bear witness of the good and the bad?
- 26:03Right?
- 26:04The.
- 26:04The consequences of sin are real.
- 26:08Are we willing to.
- 26:09To hold true to those truths and also testify of his mercy for those who repent?
- 26:16There's so much goodness in how she shared that message of truth.
- 26:21Oh, you said that so, so beautifully.
- 26:24I think you.
- 26:25You pretty much sun summed up all of what hold this stood for and did.
- 26:30Thank you.
- 26:31Thank you for summing that up.
- 26:33Bonnie.
- 26:33Any final thoughts here as we're wrapping up?
- 26:35I just want to testify that we can also stand for truth.
- 26:42Right?
- 26:43And we can be bold.
- 26:44And we do that by creating a solid relationship with Christ.
- 26:50We start by.
- 26:52He talks about experimenting on the Word, and we.
- 26:56We test, we experiment on our prayers, we go to him with our questions, and we see where that revelation and those answers lead.
- 27:05And I personally write stuff down.
- 27:07I have a prayer journal, and I will do that.
- 27:10And then I'll periodically, when I'm having a hard time, I'll go back to my prayer journal and I'll read and see the revelations that God has given me.
- 27:19And as I've exercise that muscle to learn how to hear him and receive my own answers and directions, I can see over time how that's gotten stronger and my confidence has grown stronger and my willingness to speak up
- 27:38is stronger.
- 27:39Because, like you, Tamara, I don't like to create waves right, Like I have.
- 27:43I'm a peacemaker.
- 27:44I.
- 27:44I want to avoid contention.
- 27:46But there are times when.
- 27:48When we need to speak up and we need to speak truth.
- 27:51And I think we can look to other examples of how to do that in kind and loving and appropriate ways.
- 27:56And when we go to God and we say, how do you want me to do this?
- 28:00He will literally give us the words.
- 28:02When we surrender to him and we say, use my mouth, use my body, use my hands, let me be a mirror of the.
- 28:11And we surrender and we let go of the outcome.
- 28:14He will use us as a vessel.
- 28:16I have so many different friends and examples of people who have done this in my life that have given me confidence to try learning how to do it in my own life.
- 28:25I'm not perfect at it.
- 28:26I'm learning.
- 28:28But I think that's kind of the point is that we keep progressing and we keep learning.
- 28:32And I just want to encourage everyone and.
- 28:35And bear my testimony that God can use you as you learn to have faith in him and as you learn how he uses you in your life and you start to notice those things, as you put that emphasis
- 28:48and that intention on that, it will start to grow and it will be magnified, and you will see how every single day he shows up for you and every single day he uses you, even if it's just within
- 29:02your own microcosm of your home.
- 29:06Right.
- 29:06Or in your own personal life.
- 29:08Maybe you don't have kids yet, but I encourage you to pray and ask for him to show you, because he.
- 29:14Will so, so good.
- 29:17Oh, my goodness, you guys, this has been so fun.
- 29:19I.
- 29:19I have loved diving into hold a story.
- 29:22I had one couple final thoughts that I'll tack on here.
- 29:26First, there are two witnesses of Huldah's prophecy.
- 29:30One in second Kimons and one in second Chronicles.
- 29:34And so I'm also a second witness to what Bonnie is saying here.
- 29:37Write down what God gives you, because when he gives it to you, it's.
- 29:42It's flowing, it's pure.
- 29:44And it's always after that that the doubts come.
- 29:47It's like the adversary knows.
- 29:48Oh, she got something really good there.
- 29:51Quick, attack those.
- 29:52Oh, you can't tell that person that.
- 29:55Oh, you shouldn't do that.
- 29:57So write it down when you're in the spirit of receiving it, because the doubts always come.
- 30:03And I love that they wrote down Hulda's wisdom and inspiration here because it's so beautiful.
- 30:10Sandy, you look like you had a final thought.
- 30:12I.
- 30:13I do.
- 30:13I love that.
- 30:14What brought this story and how we hear about her was because they were searching God's Word, right?
- 30:21And I didn't even remember Hulda, and.
- 30:24And I was grateful for the chance to get into God's Word and learn from that and.
- 30:30And the.
- 30:30And truly just the reminder to be in His Word.
- 30:34And that's what brought this about.
- 30:36They.
- 30:37They found more of God's Word and.
- 30:39And Josiah wanted to know more, and that was a good reminder to me of just the importance of being in His Word and what we can learn from the truths in His Word every day.
- 30:50And that that's what brought us this story of Huldah.
- 30:53Yeah.
- 30:54So good.
- 30:55I'm going to leave you with quote from Joel, chapter two.
- 31:00That as I was waking up and thinking about this podcast, God's like, you need to read this verse.
- 31:06And this is a prophecy of the latter days given to this ancient prophet Joel that was actually repeated in the New Testament as well.
- 31:15He says, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
- 31:27And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids.
- 31:30In those days will I pour out my spirit.
- 31:34My friends, we are living in these last days.
- 31:36This prophecy we are seeing fulfilled now.
- 31:39You are one of the young men or old men or young daughters or handmaids that God is pouring his spirit out upon what is he calling you to do?
- 31:51And can you be brave like Huldah and step into that and speak God's truth?
- 31:57I testify that you can, and he will make you capable of doing all he has called you to do.
