- 0:07Speaker 1: and you know what, he can give a go his hand.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He can give his hand to go. That's for the rest
- 0:12Speaker 1: and fucking time. Yeah. I like that word yearning. You
- 0:15Speaker 1: want a man, You want your partner to yearn for you.
- 0:29Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Audie Clark aka
- 0:32Speaker 1: Mummy and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig aka Daddy.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yeah that's me. You know what, you don't sound enthusiastic
- 0:42Speaker 1: to be daddy anymore? Why not? I would say I
- 0:46Speaker 1: am enthusiastic to be daddy because daddy is a state
- 0:52Speaker 1: of mind. Daddy is a state of my Anyway, what
- 0:57Speaker 1: have we got straight up for the Vardies this week?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Oh Jake?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Sometimes more often than not, you like the chit chat
- 1:05Speaker 2: at the start.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yep. And I said to you today, fuck you, Jake,
- 1:10Speaker 1: enough chat chit chat. We're gonna go straight into the
- 1:13Speaker 1: i G question, which is things men do that live
- 1:16Speaker 1: rent free in your head? Yep.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And you could have taken this two ways, couldn't you badies. Yes,
- 1:22Speaker 2: you could have rent free in a good way or
- 1:23Speaker 2: rent free in a bad way.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Do you reckon?
- 1:26Speaker 2: There's things that live rent free in your head more
- 1:29Speaker 2: often not than not be good or bad.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna say the things that live rent free in
- 1:37Speaker 1: my head are all of the head noise I have
- 1:40Speaker 1: from past things I've done so bad. Yeah, I feel
- 1:44Speaker 1: like for me, when it rains, it paus. But like
- 1:49Speaker 1: most of the time, it's normally good things. But then
- 1:52Speaker 1: when something bad happens, it's hard to get over that. Yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 1: it's a lot easier to get over a good thing
- 1:57Speaker 1: than it is to get over a bad to live
- 2:00Speaker 1: in the bliss once in a while. I don't know
- 2:02Speaker 1: why it's so much easier to get over a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: thing than it is to get over a bad thing. Yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I know, like it's good and then it's gone weird. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 1: we're all like, oh, a new phone would be nice.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I really want that new phone. Then you get the
- 2:15Speaker 1: new phone, you're like, it is a phone, Okay, put
- 2:20Speaker 1: in your pocket, forget about the fucking thing. Yeah, the
- 2:22Speaker 1: excitement of things wears off. One of my friends who
- 2:25Speaker 1: hadn't hanged out for a long time, recently hanged out with him.
- 2:27Speaker 2: He had a Samsung. First person I've seen him, yees
- 2:31Speaker 2: Jake have a Samsung. But it was kind of like,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I was like, I respect that dude against the normal.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Respect that like it takes a certain type of person
- 2:39Speaker 2: the strength, and that's kind of lived Rent free in
- 2:42Speaker 2: my head that he had a Samsung.
- 2:43Speaker 1: He was different. He said no to the norm. He
- 2:46Speaker 1: was Rocket showed.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Me a photo and I initially thought it was an
- 2:49Speaker 2: iPhone and then and then it was sitting on the
- 2:51Speaker 2: fucking table and I was like, wait a second.
- 2:52Speaker 1: What the fuck is that? You know Samsung is starting
- 2:56Speaker 1: to lose sales when they're trying to make it look
- 2:58Speaker 1: like an iPhone? Really, Yeah, well that's what Yeah, play
- 3:00Speaker 1: into your strengths. Don't try and copy people Samsung, and
- 3:03Speaker 1: you respect that. I remember I remember through school, man,
- 3:07Speaker 1: I had a Wuahwei Samsung. You give that vibe. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I used to have a crack and phone problem. But
- 3:14Speaker 1: trust a man to get a Samsung. You wouldn't see
- 3:16Speaker 1: a woman with an Android. Yeah, but that's because of
- 3:18Speaker 1: the photo game.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Because if I wasn't an influencer in quotes, I reckon
- 3:22Speaker 2: I'd have something sus I need the iPhone camera.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You have something else. Yeah. I used to have a
- 3:27Speaker 1: Google pixel. Yeah, yeah, Google pixel. That went. I went
- 3:29Speaker 1: off the the Apple iPhone for you know how, like
- 3:32Speaker 1: you get a new phone every two years or whatever,
- 3:34Speaker 1: just the in between the iPhone like seven and the
- 3:37Speaker 1: iPhone like I don't know whatever. The next two after that,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I had a pixel. Yeah, pixels are cool. Can I
- 3:42Speaker 1: just say something about the pixel? We said we aren't
- 3:45Speaker 1: going to chit chat. I didn't mind it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: My brother had one and I liked it. I liked
- 3:51Speaker 2: the thing on the back of your finger. Yeah, different
- 3:53Speaker 2: a iPhone. Yeah, it's like a novelty.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Now fuck them.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Let me start a things men do live rent free
- 4:00Speaker 2: in your head, go places with just their phone.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I kind of feel naked sometimes doing it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I feel kind of naughty without it or with it,
- 4:09Speaker 1: like just the phone.
- 4:10Speaker 2: No, I don't have a wallet anymore. Another couple of times.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I mean, when my girlfriend drives no keys, man.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I feel so normal with just a phone. I feel
- 4:17Speaker 1: a little bit naked. But I love really, because what
- 4:18Speaker 1: else would you have? I don't know, the fucking purse
- 4:23Speaker 1: you normally carry a purse. You feel naked without who
- 4:26Speaker 1: you asked, what else would I have? But why do
- 4:27Speaker 1: you feel naked? I would have some lip balm in
- 4:30Speaker 1: there if I really want to know. What I'm trying
- 4:31Speaker 1: to say is always always just you've had you have
- 4:35Speaker 1: always just taken a phone, places and keys and wallet.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So you feel naked without you keys and wallet? Yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 1: just bringing with you then?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, But like people raw dog it and girls make
- 4:46Speaker 2: it live red free in their head, I mean.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Valid, I'm a big Yeah, I'm just phone. I've always
- 4:51Speaker 1: been just my phone. Yeah, I will.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Forget my wallet off and now I will give Apple
- 4:54Speaker 2: pay the benefit of the doubt.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Right there. That was good. That is good. It's fucking
- 4:58Speaker 1: dangerous that Okay, things men do that live rent free
- 5:02Speaker 1: in your head just shake it and put it back
- 5:05Speaker 1: in their pants.
- 5:06Speaker 2: What I saw a lot of girls must keep mind
- 5:11Speaker 2: blown that we don't wipe it with some TP Why
- 5:14Speaker 2: don't we? It feels we I wouldn't do that.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I feel like it's different too. And a lot of
- 5:19Speaker 1: things touch my knob no because I have skin there
- 5:23Speaker 1: just your team. Oh yeah, I feel like i'd be
- 5:28Speaker 1: hood it up.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm hooded up, ganggang motherfucker hood gang.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You're part of the hood gang. No, No, I'm used
- 5:36Speaker 1: to my my gets out there touching everything, touching the
- 5:41Speaker 1: toilet seat sometimes and it's a grossy Yours would be
- 5:44Speaker 1: even worse. Let's at least I have protection. I've got
- 5:47Speaker 1: that skin game going on. You got fucking fucking HIV
- 5:50Speaker 1: going in there. It is the weirdest feeling. Yeah, it
- 5:55Speaker 1: feels so gross when it touches anything apart from underwear
- 5:59Speaker 1: or I dope not. I want to say, yeah, like
- 6:09Speaker 1: why don't men just wipe it with a bit of
- 6:11Speaker 1: toilet pepper? Because also it's a very will known fact
- 6:13Speaker 1: that we're all just like, yeah, man, just out of
- 6:15Speaker 1: here with the last drops, always in your undies. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: no matter what my toxic trade is, I reckon. I'm
- 6:19Speaker 1: good during the day, but then when I go to
- 6:21Speaker 1: sleep and I'm tired, my last pee before bed, I'm
- 6:23Speaker 1: bad at and it just goes everywhere. I actually remember
- 6:29Speaker 1: saying a while ago that in the night, I'm going
- 6:30Speaker 1: to start sitting down to pee because it's like I'll
- 6:33Speaker 1: keep all the lights off and I'll just be like
- 6:35Speaker 1: that sounds like it's near the water but not hitting
- 6:38Speaker 1: them hard like living My girlfriend but here's the thing
- 6:42Speaker 1: I keep forgetting. Like I've woken up a bunch of
- 6:44Speaker 1: times in the night to piece and down. I just
- 6:45Speaker 1: keep forgetting to sit down. Yeah, usually because I have
- 6:48Speaker 1: a bone night to be fair. Yeah, big guy over here,
- 6:56Speaker 1: testosterone not for long. You're getting on in age, mate,
- 7:01Speaker 1: Things men do live rent free in your head. I
- 7:04Speaker 1: think that pads stick to our bodies, not our underwear. Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I found that out far too late, far too late.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Look, look, being honest, me too, And like it makes sense.
- 7:15Speaker 1: But it doesn't do It doesn't make sense for it
- 7:18Speaker 1: to stick to the body. Why not, because what are
- 7:20Speaker 1: you gonna do? It's like the unsticky side is the
- 7:24Speaker 1: absorbent side that it's makes so much sense for it
- 7:26Speaker 1: to stick to the undies. Yeah, it does. But also
- 7:29Speaker 1: like it also makes sense otherwise how it just sucked
- 7:33Speaker 1: like the outside of your skin, of your that just
- 7:34Speaker 1: doesn't make sense. It just wouldn't work. It just look,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you know that. You have to know that. I do
- 7:42Speaker 1: know that. But also it makes it makes a little
- 7:44Speaker 1: bit of sense. Ac Yeah, I was far too old
- 7:46Speaker 1: when I found that out. The underwear makes more sense.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But also the other way, it makes a little bit
- 7:49Speaker 1: when I first found out, I won't lie to you. Actually,
- 7:51Speaker 1: when I first found out underwear, I was so gobsmacked.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I was like, that doesn't make any sense because I
- 7:55Speaker 1: hadn't thought about it, didn't deep it. But like because
- 7:57Speaker 1: the reason I thought it didn't make sense is because
- 8:00Speaker 1: when you're if it's strapped to your underwear, like you're
- 8:04Speaker 1: under surely move around, but they don't.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But that's justification to men and ourselves, not that we
- 8:10Speaker 2: should be doing that. We have penises, and like that
- 8:13Speaker 2: ship moves quite frequently, and like the underwear doesn't stay
- 8:17Speaker 2: in one spot.
- 8:18Speaker 1: What side does your penis fall too?
- 8:23Speaker 2: I'm pretty straight, I'd say a little bit too timey,
- 8:25Speaker 2: I'm pretty straight.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Like if you're standing up straight on a warm day,
- 8:30Speaker 1: because like if it's cold, it's pretty much pointing straight out.
- 8:33Speaker 1: But if you're standing up straight on a warm day
- 8:35Speaker 1: and everything's hanging nice and loose, which way, like which
- 8:38Speaker 1: way does it flo hard or soft? Soft? Which way
- 8:41Speaker 1: does it fall? To? Fuck it? I'd say left a
- 8:46Speaker 1: little bit. Same mine falls to the left, like naturally,
- 8:51Speaker 1: Like no matter what compare someone, I mean it is
- 8:55Speaker 1: audio way, YEA favorite thing, Like if I was to
- 8:59Speaker 1: go down right now. And if I was to take
- 9:01Speaker 1: do it my willie and pull it over to rest
- 9:04Speaker 1: on the right side, after like a minute of just
- 9:06Speaker 1: like natural movement, it would get shift over to the
- 9:08Speaker 1: left and stay there. Really, that's so weird. It is weird.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I don't Yeah, it must be just like a genetic being.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Very odd. Yeah, very odd. Okay, what what is it again?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Things men do live things men do that live rent
- 9:25Speaker 1: free in your head. When he can tell your nervous
- 9:28Speaker 1: slash anxious, so he squeezes your hand and pulls you close.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Oh a good one. We haven't had a good one.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah, especially when a man can gauge
- 9:37Speaker 1: a situation if you sow there, if you feel like
- 9:40Speaker 1: if it's an anxious situation, pull her in close. Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 1: tough though, tough one. Funny story, actually, very fair.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Have you could you say you've done that with your
- 9:51Speaker 2: partner anxious, anxious situation or something, pull her in closet.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Loves it at least at least yeah, oh maybe once.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah that when Cassie was running her Ultra marathon, she
- 10:05Speaker 2: was like seventy five k's deep or whatever, and like
- 10:08Speaker 2: I thought, I was reading the situation like she was
- 10:11Speaker 2: it was a tough time.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I was like, oh, yeah, hold her hand, held her hand.
- 10:15Speaker 3: She didn't touch me, and I was like, well, I
- 10:21Speaker 3: fucking read that one wrong, didn't I.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I was like, this is a tough situation. She might
- 10:27Speaker 2: want some support. No, no, that I'm here. Yeah, I'm
- 10:30Speaker 2: here for you. She's like, I touched her hand, don't
- 10:31Speaker 2: fucking touch That is so fun.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I was like, all right, fair, I think things men
- 10:38Speaker 1: do to live rent free in your head, earning extra
- 10:42Speaker 1: for doing the same roles as women. Yeah, that is
- 10:46Speaker 1: that actually lives rent free in my head too. Actually,
- 10:48Speaker 1: that's it. Yeah, I think about that. I actually would
- 10:50Speaker 1: think about that a fair bit. I reckon just like subconsciously. Really,
- 10:56Speaker 1: that's good of you. I would say that doesn't cross
- 10:58Speaker 1: my mind, which is like so many all coded and
- 11:02Speaker 1: but it's like, I know it's a thing, but I
- 11:04Speaker 1: wouldn't say that it crosses my mind because I'm privileged
- 11:07Speaker 1: enough to obviously like that comes from a privileged place. Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 1: I agree. I also think another thing that lives rent
- 11:12Speaker 1: free in my brain. I think this is a nice thought.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I think women have a better balance, a work life
- 11:19Speaker 1: balance than men. They know how to disconnect and balance
- 11:24Speaker 1: juggle work and their social lives way better than men.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Where's men don't know how to do that? I think
- 11:27Speaker 1: about that quite frequently. Fair Maybe it's just like, yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I wouldn't say I have I feel
- 11:34Speaker 1: any type of way about that. I don't know. I
- 11:35Speaker 1: think that when Bethany was working full time as like
- 11:40Speaker 1: the cafe manager, I want to say I think that
- 11:44Speaker 1: she was like pretty good at shutting off, but she
- 11:47Speaker 1: was like always answering the phone always, Like I think
- 11:49Speaker 1: it's like just comes down to a personality thing. True.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Maybe just like maybe the women you've had like a
- 11:53Speaker 1: lot of time, spend a lot of time with it,
- 11:55Speaker 1: really good at it. True things men do that live
- 11:59Speaker 1: rent free in your head? Think about nothing? Question mark?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Question mark question mark, Oh that is I'm really good
- 12:06Speaker 1: at that. You are really good at that. That kind
- 12:08Speaker 1: of lives rent free in my head, I'm not good
- 12:09Speaker 1: at that.
- 12:09Speaker 2: No, No, I'm terrible at thinking about nothing. I wish
- 12:12Speaker 2: I could think about nothing. I think about too many things.
- 12:14Speaker 1: If I'm driving, We're on a long road trip, and
- 12:17Speaker 1: Beth kind of like, what are you thinking about? I
- 12:19Speaker 1: literally can think about question But I like if she's
- 12:23Speaker 1: like I literally can be thinking about nothing like nothing,
- 12:27Speaker 1: or you think nothing about nothing that's worth bringing up.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's a good good point, like nothing that's interesting enough
- 12:36Speaker 1: to talk about it. Yeah, Like, like, here's the thing is,
- 12:38Speaker 1: women are always thinking like how can you just look
- 12:41Speaker 1: out a window and think about nothing? And the reason
- 12:43Speaker 1: that where like we can literally just think about nothing
- 12:45Speaker 1: is because I want to say, Like, the reason I
- 12:50Speaker 1: say I'm thinking about nothing is because what I was
- 12:52Speaker 1: thinking about is like I wonder how long into that
- 12:53Speaker 1: grass grows? Yeah you know what I mean? Like that's
- 12:55Speaker 1: not worth talking about. Yeah, exactly, You're gonna think I'm stupid. Yeah.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I always think about like I'll see like, oh I
- 13:01Speaker 1: wonder how that fence was made? Yeah? Yeah, And then
- 13:03Speaker 1: so like what are you thinking about nothing? Like this morning, actually,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I went and I walked into like a JB high
- 13:09Speaker 1: fie and I was walking and I looked down and
- 13:11Speaker 1: I look at the tiles, and I thought, I wonder
- 13:13Speaker 1: what the guys were talking about when they put these
- 13:15Speaker 1: tiles down. Literally crossed my mind, but then it was
- 13:18Speaker 1: in the thought came, and then the thought vanished, and
- 13:20Speaker 1: I haven't thought about it again until right now, because
- 13:21Speaker 1: we're talking about what the men think about when they're
- 13:23Speaker 1: doing random shit, and that's a thought that wasn't worth
- 13:25Speaker 1: bringing up. Literally, Yeah, if someone was saying, what do
- 13:27Speaker 1: you think about? What? Really? Nothing? Ballad? Ballad? All right?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Things men do that live rent free in your head?
- 13:35Speaker 1: A good one rolling up their sleeves really like T
- 13:40Speaker 1: shirt sleeve are long sleeves? Say, I don't know, is
- 13:43Speaker 1: that sexy? Forearm veins popping and shit? I would love that.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Four arm veins is a thing.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Like I reckon, that's a get that shit, that blood
- 13:50Speaker 2: flowing and that I love the sleeves.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Okay, I might start wearing a long sleeve and try it.
- 13:55Speaker 1: When you think of these, do you think of like tens,
- 13:58Speaker 1: like ten of men like Jacobal Lord, he's like pulling
- 14:00Speaker 1: up their sleeves. Yeah, I'm not going to think of
- 14:02Speaker 1: some like fucking dad bod not to be mean or eathing,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but like that's not where my mind goes. Like I
- 14:08Speaker 1: think of like models, you know what I mean, Like
- 14:10Speaker 1: a guy that's like, you know, Chris Hemsworth. I think that,
- 14:15Speaker 1: ye yeah, And I think like how can I be
- 14:17Speaker 1: more like that? I do things men do that live
- 14:20Speaker 1: rent free, in your in your head. My partner got
- 14:23Speaker 1: a BB gun and shot himself in the foot to quote,
- 14:26Speaker 1: just to see if it would hurt. And it did.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I bet it did. What's with the men getting intrusive
- 14:32Speaker 1: thoughts to be like, what would happen if I did this?
- 14:37Speaker 2: I had one the other day, a very man thing
- 14:39Speaker 2: to do, man coded camping. I got a twelve vault
- 14:42Speaker 2: electricity system in my car very men coded yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And had a toasty machine.
- 14:49Speaker 2: And it was sunny, so I couldn't tell if the
- 14:51Speaker 2: light was on or not. So I was like, oh,
- 14:53Speaker 2: I'll just touch it burn my finger because I thought
- 14:56Speaker 2: I actually I thought it wasn't on.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But I was like this, if it was to like that,
- 15:00Speaker 1: get some water and see if it's THEMS, you idiot,
- 15:02Speaker 1: Just like see if.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It's like yeah, I touched it and it hurt. Then
- 15:05Speaker 2: I also hated myself even more because that was the
- 15:07Speaker 2: dumbest thing.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I well, that is I'll do that with hot drinks.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't think that this isn't a man thing. Is
- 15:13Speaker 1: just what I feel like, just everyone thing like a
- 15:16Speaker 1: drink that's super hot. I just order my coffee and
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm like, I should really wait for this to cool down.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Then I'm like, but I could just I'm like, oh
- 15:22Speaker 1: now my tongues burnt. I'm not gonna taste it for
- 15:23Speaker 1: the rest of the fucking drink. Patience, young Padawa. Things
- 15:27Speaker 1: men do deliver and free in your head, over promise
- 15:30Speaker 1: and then under deliver. Yeah, I'm sorry. I would like
- 15:35Speaker 1: to hope I don't do that.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I want to apologize for the male gender. Yeah, I'm
- 15:40Speaker 2: proud of not over promising.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I hope I don't. I'm sure I haven't the past.
- 15:44Speaker 1: What about that alter ego you have in the bedroom?
- 15:46Speaker 1: You ever does that ever turn on too early? And
- 15:47Speaker 1: you ever promise? Oh? Yeah, bro? You serious? Like midway through,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, we're gonna fuck all night, one round,
- 15:53Speaker 1: no more sleep time. I'm genuinely I'm serious, or I'll
- 15:57Speaker 1: be like, yeah, we're gonna do this every night going forward.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Does you're gonna getting then this week? I am over
- 16:06Speaker 1: promising and under delivering on that in that area. Yes,
- 16:10Speaker 1: all right, my last one. Things men do that liver
- 16:13Speaker 1: and free in your head, shirt off, hat backwards, pushing
- 16:16Speaker 1: a lawn mower, pushing a lawn mower and feel like
- 16:21Speaker 1: that That's what I used to do like that. I
- 16:25Speaker 1: feel like I could. Maybe I'm not coming across as
- 16:27Speaker 1: very sexy right now, but I could do that. I've
- 16:29Speaker 1: got I've got another good one. Things men do liver
- 16:31Speaker 1: and free in your head, Gray sweat pants. Yes, women
- 16:37Speaker 1: love Grace sweat because you can see the outline. Yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 1: or do you want to hear? Actually this could be funny?
- 16:45Speaker 1: What so? Quite a while back, Bethany posted a video
- 16:50Speaker 1: of me with our very first foster dog, Tilly. Let
- 16:54Speaker 1: me go find it? Did you have Grace sweat pants? On? Wait? Okay,
- 16:59Speaker 1: so all back? Beth posted a video of me with
- 17:02Speaker 1: our first foster dog, Tilly, and then also with Henry
- 17:06Speaker 1: and maybe I should show you the video quickly? Yeah? Wait, wait,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I think I've seen this in your fucking junks flapping
- 17:12Speaker 1: all over the place. Do you want to watch? You
- 17:13Speaker 1: to jump in to? Send it to you to put
- 17:14Speaker 1: up on the screen. Send it to me right so?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I will let it play there for a second? Problem
- 17:22Speaker 1: spewing on Yeah, go to YouTube if you want to
- 17:25Speaker 1: watch it, or Patreon or patreon? What the comments? AnyWho?
- 17:29Speaker 1: So posted it? And I'm wearing pajama pants? Yeah obviously
- 17:33Speaker 1: no wonder where and so there's it's gotten onto this
- 17:38Speaker 1: side of TikTok. That's it's got I think it's gotten
- 17:42Speaker 1: onto gate TikTok. Yeah, oh really, So the first one
- 17:45Speaker 1: that pops up where it's gotten on the gay talk.
- 17:47Speaker 1: If someone goes because I'm sinking, Oh missy, you're so fine.
- 17:50Speaker 1: This guy said, oh, daddy, you're so fine. No one,
- 17:52Speaker 1: no one, question mark, question mark. And then somebody said,
- 17:57Speaker 1: ain't nobody looking at the dog.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Someone said, I don't know about those zoomies, but those
- 18:04Speaker 4: pjs look great from the back. Someone posted a video
- 18:08Speaker 4: of a bunch of like commented a video of a
- 18:10Speaker 4: bunch of sausages getting thrown at someone's face.
- 18:14Speaker 1: There we know our boys. And then so, by the way,
- 18:17Speaker 1: all this is all men commenting, and then someone says, okay,
- 18:20Speaker 1: but is dad single and what is his at? Just
- 18:22Speaker 1: for statistic purposes, Lis, this has gassing you up too?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Oh my god? Yeah, maybe over sexualizing a little bit.
- 18:30Speaker 5: But someone else said, god, I love men gay as
- 18:34Speaker 5: a goose. Someone said, nope, nothing wrong with him. He's fine.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Bouncy bouncy.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Jack it out before we will brainstorm on. Somebody is
- 18:46Speaker 1: the content? Just get you fucking dancing with nobody's on mate.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I started only fans, so no one is looking at
- 18:53Speaker 1: that octopus or whatever you're holding posted this.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I actually had a funny idea, you know how, like
- 19:06Speaker 2: only fans is like so normalized now, Yeah, little cash
- 19:09Speaker 2: grab that me and Cassie wanted to do. We'd call
- 19:10Speaker 2: it like Audie and Cassie, like starting only fans and
- 19:13Speaker 2: then you click on it would allude to like it's
- 19:15Speaker 2: six tapes and ship and then it's just us eating Gyg.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Come get naughty with us.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Once a week, like put a link up, everybody, come
- 19:30Speaker 5: get naughty with us, and you're like just about to
- 19:33Speaker 5: eat GYG and his live stream might opposed video.
- 19:35Speaker 1: If you guys eat Gyg, I think people would respect
- 19:39Speaker 1: the game, dude, like if you got got. I used
- 19:43Speaker 1: to watch this guy, Nathan Florence and he makes his
- 19:48Speaker 1: he's John, John Florence's brother. So they're all really good surfaces,
- 19:50Speaker 1: like three brothers and brothers and they're all really good.
- 19:53Speaker 1: But Nathan Florence quite kind of famous for making just
- 19:56Speaker 1: surfing vlogs and he was he I used to watch
- 20:03Speaker 1: him all like religiously for a little while, kind of
- 20:05Speaker 1: went from like Jamie O'Brien to him and he's just
- 20:09Speaker 1: quite funny. And he started an only fans surf school. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: well only fans was originally created not for naked women. Yeah,
- 20:18Speaker 1: it would take say Patreon. Patreon is very hardcore fans. Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: they will pay for more content. Only fans makes the
- 20:25Speaker 1: same sort of sense to me. But then they lent
- 20:28Speaker 1: into the naked lady say of things. Do you think
- 20:31Speaker 1: only fans as a company is lent into that? Ye
- 20:35Speaker 1: also seen things they have. They were making billions. It's
- 20:38Speaker 1: like a private company still, I believe, and also has
- 20:41Speaker 1: like very not very many employees. Oh really, only fans.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'll leave this to live went
- 20:48Speaker 1: free in some heads. You know how predominantly discussing men
- 20:50Speaker 1: are buying only fans, Yes, buying only fans. Do you
- 20:53Speaker 1: think like they consciously make a budget for their only
- 20:58Speaker 1: fans subscriptions each month? Could you imagine if you found
- 21:01Speaker 1: a man's budgeting app or budgeting note or something like that,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and he had a budget for only phone bill, rent, electricity.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, like he's adding up his bills only he's
- 21:15Speaker 1: like subscriptions.
- 21:16Speaker 5: You know, Netflix, Disney class.
- 21:20Speaker 1: If any man's doing that. Do we respect an organized
- 21:24Speaker 1: king though he's single, hopefully obviously do we respect an
- 21:27Speaker 1: organized king? I actually don't know. Look, I think it's like,
- 21:31Speaker 1: I think it's king shaming to be like your you're
- 21:34Speaker 1: gross Ford, but if you're single, fucking go for your life. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I don't actually know. Look, I think i'll put it
- 21:41Speaker 1: out there that I do think it's fucked that people
- 21:43Speaker 1: pay for only fans. But like if someone again, like
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'm not super hard on any stances, like as of
- 21:50Speaker 1: right now without pretty to much launch it, I just
- 21:52Speaker 1: think that's fucked. But if someone was to be like,
- 21:54Speaker 1: he's why it's not fucked, then I'd be like, okay, fair,
- 21:57Speaker 1: Like if it's a good argument, I'm happy to be like, okay,
- 21:59Speaker 1: fair fair. One of my ones actually was I didn't
- 22:02Speaker 1: do it. What's something the things that men do that
- 22:05Speaker 1: live rent free in your head and it's making your
- 22:06Speaker 1: opinions your whole personality. Oh that's the opposite of you,
- 22:10Speaker 1: that is Oh yeah, I hate an opinion. I hate
- 22:14Speaker 1: an opinion. Suppose you just had one of our only fans.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I have opinions to make that your personality. See, like,
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan of people that have like
- 22:22Speaker 1: these really strong opinions about something. When it's like an
- 22:27Speaker 1: opinion that okay, actually he's okay, who cares what I
- 22:31Speaker 1: was about to talk about? Actually? Who actually cares what
- 22:34Speaker 1: I was about to talk about? He was about to
- 22:35Speaker 1: have an opinion? Guy, and he's like, wait, actually was yeah,
- 22:38Speaker 1: well that's not me. I about to have an opinion,
- 22:40Speaker 1: And I'm thinking, wait, who I am? But in my opinion,
- 22:47Speaker 1: Relatables Patreon is really good. Oh yeah, ninety the next
- 22:53Speaker 1: episode every Thursday, you're going to get the Monday also
- 22:57Speaker 1: on Patreon, you're going to get the Thursday's actual episod.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You're probably going to get Fridy on page into. All
- 23:00Speaker 1: of those are going to be add free enjoy a month.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But I'm so no. Sorry that's aud by the way,
- 23:07Speaker 1: so if you live in the US the UK, it's
- 23:08Speaker 1: going to be cheaper. But okay, what I was going
- 23:10Speaker 1: to say was I find it weird. Could be the
- 23:16Speaker 1: way I find it when people will have like such
- 23:21Speaker 1: a strong opinion on something and then it's so disagreed
- 23:26Speaker 1: with because it is actually just wrong. But then people
- 23:32Speaker 1: can defend that person because they're like, oh, it's their opinion,
- 23:35Speaker 1: like people are allowed to have opinions, like in my opinion.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Sometimes there is cases where it is a difference of opinion,
- 23:44Speaker 1: but sometimes there is cases where it's a difference of
- 23:45Speaker 1: right and wrong.
- 23:46Speaker 2: There's harmless opinions, then there's right and wrong which affect
- 23:49Speaker 2: other people.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I think, like just because someone like you can't
- 23:54Speaker 1: let someone of the hook by saying it's their opinion
- 23:56Speaker 1: when they have like the actual wrong.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I've always struggled to comprehend when someone is wrong and
- 24:02Speaker 2: they think they're right but they're wrong.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Yeah, sometimes I think they do it for attention, Yes,
- 24:07Speaker 6: so do what And I genuinely think people will legitimately
- 24:11Speaker 6: prove them wrong with cold, hard cash evidence, throw it
- 24:15Speaker 6: in their face and they're wrong, But they still die
- 24:17Speaker 6: on their hill.
- 24:18Speaker 2: And I'm just like, how can you process that and
- 24:19Speaker 2: still have that opinion after all the details and.
- 24:21Speaker 1: All the facts. Here's what they do, right, Because it's
- 24:24Speaker 1: majority of the time men, unfortunately unfortunately for us because
- 24:27Speaker 1: we're part of that gender AnyWho. But what will happen
- 24:29Speaker 1: is a man will have a very strong opinion that
- 24:32Speaker 1: is wrong, and then another man or a woman will
- 24:36Speaker 1: tell them why it's wrong. And then the man will go,
- 24:39Speaker 1: well that's your opinion. Yeah, they will fall back on
- 24:41Speaker 1: the whole opinion thing. Bloody double nded sword. You can't win,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you can't lose. It kills me. Yeah, it kills me too.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I know soon want to talk about it, and I
- 24:50Speaker 1: don't really remember what it is. Hopefully it wasn't very important.
- 24:56Speaker 1: It was probably another opinion.
- 24:58Speaker 2: The way Jake seeing is you forgot actually have an
- 25:00Speaker 2: idea slash proposition to you. Okay, we talked about Patreon
- 25:05Speaker 2: the value of it, but also we're talking about rent free.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Should we give a prize two one Patreon member who
- 25:16Speaker 2: also shares this episode on their Instagram story and we
- 25:20Speaker 2: will pay their rent for a week.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That's actually a really cool idea.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so all you have to do is ninety nine
- 25:28Speaker 2: a month, be a Patreon member and share this episode
- 25:30Speaker 2: or any episode on your story tag us. We'll see
- 25:32Speaker 2: them and we'll pay one Battie's rent.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I've always kind of felt weird about like getting members
- 25:39Speaker 1: that way by being like we're gonna do like one
- 25:41Speaker 1: hundred dollars a week giveaway, so we choose a random
- 25:43Speaker 1: member that with bux a week or like two hundred
- 25:45Speaker 1: bucks or like the thousand bucks a month, I don't know, whatever,
- 25:47Speaker 1: whatever you can afford or whatever we could afford. But
- 25:50Speaker 1: if we if we just do a one off every
- 25:52Speaker 1: now and then we do all one off, like random
- 25:54Speaker 1: baddies getting their rent paid this week, I'm fine with that.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Hopefully some baddies aren't living like bougie. I was gonna say,
- 26:00Speaker 1: if your rent is like if you pay like a
- 26:03Speaker 1: thousand bucks a week rent on your own, you're doing fine.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You're doing fine, you can fine. You don't need a unio. Okay,
- 26:14Speaker 1: here's some you need to be at. You need be
- 26:16Speaker 1: wishing casually, no for real, whatever it is going to
- 26:19Speaker 1: give a sharehouse. If it's a sharehouse, you'rreu only covering
- 26:23Speaker 1: your rent, not there rent. Okay, a couple of things
- 26:25Speaker 1: to keep note of, but I don't I love it. Okay,
- 26:29Speaker 1: if you go over to patron, sign up by linking
- 26:32Speaker 1: the description link in the description, and then I'm going
- 26:35Speaker 1: to say, after this episode, I don't know, we'll give
- 26:38Speaker 1: it two weeks, we'll give it a couple of weeks,
- 26:39Speaker 1: and then we'll pay someone. That is time for a dilemma. Okay,
- 26:51Speaker 1: So once again, if you want to submit a dilemma.
- 26:54Speaker 1: We say this every week. If you're new here. If
- 26:56Speaker 1: you have a dilemma, will answer it if you want
- 26:58Speaker 1: to submit. One link in the description is all anonymous.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I'm feeling in a good mood to help to though. Okay, okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I'm feeling good. Hey, guys, love the pod. I've got
- 27:06Speaker 1: a bit of a confusing one and could really use
- 27:09Speaker 1: an outside perspective. I reconnected with the guy I knew
- 27:12Speaker 1: from high school, hadn't seen him in years. Randomly ran
- 27:15Speaker 1: into him and he messaged me that night. We started
- 27:17Speaker 1: hanging out, slept together, and in the first week we
- 27:20Speaker 1: actually saw each other a couple of times and talked properly. Actually,
- 27:24Speaker 1: at first communication was normal text here and there, but
- 27:28Speaker 1: then it slowly shifted to mostly snapchat, face picks, a
- 27:32Speaker 1: little chat, and a lot of late night come over messages.
- 27:35Speaker 1: A couple of times he asked me to come over
- 27:37Speaker 1: and then fell asleep or bailed because he was tired.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Where kind of similar people. Neither of us have ever
- 27:43Speaker 1: been in a relationship, and we're both avoidant with emotional conversations.
- 27:47Speaker 1: It took me ages to work up the courage, but
- 27:48Speaker 1: I finally brought it up in person on Friday night,
- 27:51Speaker 1: I asked where things were going. He said he likes me,
- 27:53Speaker 1: but doesn't really know if he wants a relationship, doesn't
- 27:56Speaker 1: fully know what he wants in life yet, but suggested
- 27:58Speaker 1: we give it a go. I also said I hate
- 28:01Speaker 1: texting and prefer calls, and he said he'd call me
- 28:03Speaker 1: more since then the next morning he had work, I left.
- 28:07Speaker 1: We didn't really talk Saturday, I was out all day.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Neither of us messaged. On Sunday, around lunchtime, I sent
- 28:13Speaker 1: a casual text, just asking how his weekend was, and
- 28:16Speaker 1: still haven't had a reply. I do like him, but
- 28:19Speaker 1: the conversation we had doesn't really match up to what's
- 28:21Speaker 1: happening now. I'm not sure if if this is just
- 28:24Speaker 1: how he is emotionally inexperienced, a bit of avoidant, or if
- 28:28Speaker 1: the science is already telling me what I need to know.
- 28:30Speaker 1: How do you tell the difference? And at what point
- 28:32Speaker 1: do you take behavior as the answer? Oh, that's a
- 28:36Speaker 1: good question. At the end. At what point do you
- 28:38Speaker 1: take behavior as the answer, Because it's hard to take
- 28:41Speaker 1: that as the answer at the start, because actions do
- 28:44Speaker 1: speak lotter than words, but words talk more. They do
- 28:49Speaker 1: do that words do tend to do that, they talk more.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I was going to say, PSA to all the young,
- 28:55Speaker 1: beautiful bad he's listening right now. If your man's main
- 28:59Speaker 1: form of communication is Snapchat and you're not dating and
- 29:04Speaker 1: he's asking you to come over late at night, I
- 29:06Speaker 1: would run. Yeah, something about snapchat being the main form
- 29:10Speaker 1: of communication is giving red flag.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I went to why could We be wrong? I went
- 29:17Speaker 2: to a Lord concert. Predominantly the demo is young women. Yes,
- 29:21Speaker 2: I didn't see it because he told me about it after,
- 29:24Speaker 2: and there was three young ladies behind us I don't know,
- 29:26Speaker 2: probably sixteen eighty and or whatever, and the whole concert
- 29:29Speaker 2: just snapchat.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And video snapchat, Snapchat, snapchaps, steps actute Snapchat. I also
- 29:34Speaker 1: say about Snapchat as well. Yeah, so Snapchat came out
- 29:37Speaker 1: when we were younger. All of us had it. I
- 29:39Speaker 1: still have it. Yeah, I don't go on it. But
- 29:43Speaker 1: so Snapchat was in and then out with our generation
- 29:46Speaker 1: in my opinion, but it's stuck in for the young EASA.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So I actually think that it's just so like it's
- 29:54Speaker 1: the older half of gen Z trying to be cool
- 29:58Speaker 1: not using Snapchat. So I'm calling us out here because
- 30:02Speaker 1: younger end of millennials love Snapchat the young young, and yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 1: like Joinna's on the cusp. So Joina's like technically gen z,
- 30:11Speaker 1: but she's really more millennial. She'll still use Snapchat a lot.
- 30:14Speaker 1: And I'm kind of like, you're weird. But it's like,
- 30:17Speaker 1: so we're trying to bother us, and below us are
- 30:19Speaker 1: all Snapchat lovers, and then us in the middle are
- 30:22Speaker 1: like Snapchat haters. So I think it's us that's the problem.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Okay, okay, all right, Well we can take away what
- 30:29Speaker 2: I said about Snapchat, but we can still listen to
- 30:32Speaker 2: If he's asking you to come over late at night, run,
- 30:34Speaker 2: I don't like that. I feel like those intentions is
- 30:36Speaker 2: really annoying me.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Ready, also, she goes, but okay, ready, I asked where
- 30:42Speaker 1: things were going. He said, he likes me. He doesn't
- 30:43Speaker 1: really know what if he wants a relationship, doesn't really
- 30:45Speaker 1: know what he wants in life yet, but suggested we
- 30:47Speaker 1: could give it a go. This guy off if you
- 30:50Speaker 1: want him to want you, You wanted to yearn you
- 30:51Speaker 1: wanted to ask you to be your girlfriend. You want this,
- 30:54Speaker 1: and you know what, he can give a go his hand.
- 30:57Speaker 1: He can give his hand to go. Yeah, that's for
- 30:58Speaker 1: the rest and fucking time. Yeah. I like that word yearning.
- 31:02Speaker 1: You want a man, you want your partner to yearn
- 31:04Speaker 1: for you. Yeah, And I would say in the beginning,
- 31:05Speaker 1: I did yearn. Yeah, and now that I live with
- 31:08Speaker 1: my girlfriend, I actually would. I would admit I don't
- 31:10Speaker 1: yearn anymore. I actually think that the whole yearning thing
- 31:14Speaker 1: is like good and bad. Well, let's let's not mitigate
- 31:19Speaker 1: what we just said. We want him to yearn at
- 31:21Speaker 1: the start. Yeah, at the beginning, it's like yearning is
- 31:25Speaker 1: kind of like it's like the honeymoon. You want to
- 31:26Speaker 1: feel wanted. It's like that, Yeah, you want to be wanted.
- 31:28Speaker 1: You want him to want you, Like, this guy's not
- 31:30Speaker 1: acting like he wants you.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Well, A big problem with young men especially and young
- 31:33Speaker 2: people is that they don't know what they want in life.
- 31:35Speaker 2: But also I feel like I can't be empathetic towards
- 31:39Speaker 2: not wanting.
- 31:39Speaker 1: A person when you're talking to him. Yeah, because I
- 31:42Speaker 1: can be empathetic you're like, I don't know what I
- 31:43Speaker 1: want to do in my career, but I couldn't be
- 31:45Speaker 1: empathetic if you're going on dates and then you say
- 31:46Speaker 1: like I don't know if I want a relationship or not,
- 31:48Speaker 1: and don't give him excuses by saying like is he
- 31:50Speaker 1: just emotionally avoidant? Like who fucking cares? Yeah, there's a
- 31:54Speaker 1: couple of cheeky red flags here, But it's hard, like
- 31:58Speaker 1: I remember being young, dumb, full of come like, it's hard.
- 32:02Speaker 1: It's hard to see. It's hard to see it is
- 32:06Speaker 1: it is?
- 32:06Speaker 2: It is, especially when you're in it and you don't
- 32:08Speaker 2: have I don't want to give excuses and say you
- 32:10Speaker 2: don't have the skills to be emotionally intelligent, but also
- 32:13Speaker 2: you just don't like I've done I've said dumb shit
- 32:16Speaker 2: like that I've done dumb shit because I was just dumb.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm just a dumb man. He's a question
- 32:23Speaker 1: like what is avoidant attachment? I wouldn't say it's a
- 32:26Speaker 1: fucking thing. I suppose it's just gonna say, like, I
- 32:28Speaker 1: don't know if it's an ad hot take to be, like,
- 32:30Speaker 1: is avoidant attachment even a thing? Because if it is,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I don't want to be out of here saying it's not. Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: I also feel like you know how we talk about
- 32:37Speaker 1: like what are they called when you're different loving style?
- 32:43Speaker 1: What are the acts of service. Yeah, different types of weight,
- 32:46Speaker 1: the ways you give love and the way you receive love,
- 32:48Speaker 1: everyone's a little different. Yeah, yeah, and you're a little different.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I feel like it's especially when you're young, it's kind
- 32:52Speaker 1: of like the way you saw love of your parents,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and that's just your pretense of what love is. But
- 32:57Speaker 1: then the older you get, you figure out your own
- 32:59Speaker 1: way of loving. And especially with that guy, like he's
- 33:01Speaker 1: probably seen his parents never fucking kissing hit and like
- 33:05Speaker 1: he hasn't really built up his own version of love yet.
- 33:07Speaker 1: And I don't know, as my realization a little bit,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but can I actually quickly, I just want to look
- 33:12Speaker 1: at what is like avoidant attachment because I want to know.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I don't think avoidant is a thing, like, well, I
- 33:17Speaker 2: love you, but I want to avoid you.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Like what is avoid Is it a disorder? Like would
- 33:21Speaker 1: I say what is avoidant detachment? I'm just gonna say
- 33:25Speaker 1: what is avoidant attachment? Avoidant attachment? So, avoidant detachment is
- 33:30Speaker 1: a pattern where someone emotionally distances themselves from others, especially
- 33:34Speaker 1: in close or romantic relationships, to avoid vulnerability, dependence, or
- 33:38Speaker 1: feeling overwhelmed. That's an issue. It's commonly linked to avoid
- 33:42Speaker 1: avoidant attachment styles in attachment theory, what it looks like.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Someone with avoidant detachment might pull away when things get
- 33:48Speaker 1: emotionally intense, Struggle to express feelings, downplay the importance of relationships,
- 33:53Speaker 1: feel uncomfortable with too much closeness, shut down during conflict,
- 33:56Speaker 1: need excessive independence, seem fine after breakups for quickly. They
- 34:00Speaker 1: often value your self reliance and can appear calm or unaffected.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But that's usually a protective strategy. Why it happens. Avoidant
- 34:08Speaker 1: detachment often develops when someone grew up with emotionally unavailable
- 34:11Speaker 1: caregivers learned that expressing needs led to rejection, felt shamed
- 34:16Speaker 1: for vulnerability, had to be independent too early, so the
- 34:20Speaker 1: nervous system learned it's safer to need to not need anyone.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It's not that they don't feel, it's that closeness can
- 34:28Speaker 1: trigger discomfort or a threat.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I'll tell you what that used to me, and I'll
- 34:33Speaker 2: tell you what I wasn't ready for a relationship.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, here we go. Core in dating slash relationships
- 34:41Speaker 1: in the talking stage, which I know you love unpacking
- 34:43Speaker 1: on the pod chutch you beteenas me so well. Avoidant
- 34:46Speaker 1: detachment might look like strong at the start, then sudden distance. Quote.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I just don't like labels, avoiding conversations, mixed signals, needing
- 34:55Speaker 1: space right after intimacy. Wait, hold up, I need space
- 34:58Speaker 1: right up into me, like, don't touch me. It's not
- 35:01Speaker 1: avoided detachment though, that's like I feel like that's space
- 35:03Speaker 1: space like if you went home for like three days.
- 35:07Speaker 1: It's true. Yeah, we need like space, not like like
- 35:10Speaker 1: I just need like a bubble, like like a meter up.
- 35:14Speaker 1: But okay, so look, it's a thing. I don't want
- 35:16Speaker 1: to be out here saying that it's not a thing
- 35:17Speaker 1: because I was gonna be like avoid an attach. It's
- 35:19Speaker 1: not even a thing. They just said that it's an excuse.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Is it's a thing. It's an excuse though. It's an
- 35:25Speaker 1: excuse for the way I am, when the way you
- 35:28Speaker 1: are isn't very healthy. In conclusion, wait, okay, yeah, go on.
- 35:32Speaker 1: In conclusion, I think this man is not ready for
- 35:35Speaker 1: a relationship. Yeah, fucking off, and you can do better, agreed.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Alright, baddies, close your eyes and picture this. You're on
- 35:51Speaker 2: a first date with a lovely man. He's beautiful, good looking,
- 35:56Speaker 2: looks like recent arm mains are popping a few buttons
- 36:01Speaker 2: are Undone, you're.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Going a date with Jake Cray, you think wake up
- 36:06Speaker 1: at tonightmare and you're thinking to yourself, is it too
- 36:10Speaker 1: good to be true? I have him in front of me.
- 36:12Speaker 1: A couple of questions you can ask to see if
- 36:14Speaker 1: he's a psychopath. Okay, did you like? Did you look up? Like?
- 36:19Speaker 1: Actual questions you can ask Beau he is a psychopath? On?
- 36:22Speaker 1: That is it from your brain? Oh? These are from
- 36:23Speaker 1: my brain?
- 36:23Speaker 2: Okay, okay, this is from and I think they do
- 36:26Speaker 2: conclude if you're a psychopath or not.
- 36:28Speaker 1: We can see if you're a psychopath too.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Okay, all right, So questions to ask to find out
- 36:32Speaker 2: if he's a psychopath.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Can you fall asleep with a light or lamp on?
- 36:38Speaker 1: That's a good one because if the answer is yes, psychopath, Yeah,
- 36:43Speaker 1: I'm a big I like darkness. But wait, living in Sydney,
- 36:47Speaker 1: I've been able to learn to live with your house light.
- 36:50Speaker 1: That doesn't count.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like you fall asleep and there's a
- 36:52Speaker 2: lamp on next to you. That's not a psychopathic? Who
- 36:55Speaker 2: knows what the next phase is after that?
- 36:57Speaker 1: All right?
- 36:58Speaker 2: Questions to ask to find out if he's psychopathic m M.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Do you have a shower after a night out?
- 37:04Speaker 1: The question, sorry, the answer better be fucking yes if
- 37:07Speaker 1: it's not what you gotta run. I definitely have had
- 37:10Speaker 1: some big nights out where I've just like flopped into bed.
- 37:13Speaker 1: That's pretty disgusting because also if I'm dating you and
- 37:16Speaker 1: you're doing that and sleeping next to me, I'm like, oh,
- 37:20Speaker 1: I've got to be honest. Though, If Beth got home
- 37:22Speaker 1: from a big night out and goes, I'm so fucked
- 37:23Speaker 1: I can't be bothered shower, I'd be like, don't really. Yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 1: I'd be like I don't care. I would be like, chat,
- 37:29Speaker 1: change the sheets tomorrow. But I would also be like, god,
- 37:32Speaker 1: that's a I'm gonna say, you're not. I actually think, yeah,
- 37:35Speaker 1: you're not a psychopaths, you dn't whatever or whatever, whatever,
- 37:37Speaker 1: because if you're drunk, whatever whatever. Questions to ask to
- 37:41Speaker 1: find out if he's a psychopath. Do you clap when
- 37:44Speaker 1: the plane lands. I've never actually experienced someone climbing when
- 37:49Speaker 1: the plan. Have you actually have you had? It's because
- 37:51Speaker 1: you've got to experience bad turbulence, like within half an
- 37:54Speaker 1: hour of landing, and it's a bit of a tough landing.
- 37:57Speaker 1: And then they landed, and everyone's like, I've been so lucky.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Then I've been so so I've experienced it, like twice,
- 38:04Speaker 1: people clapping as that's the funniest thing. Discuss that thing ever, So, Psycho,
- 38:08Speaker 1: do you want to know what I have experienced on
- 38:10Speaker 1: a plane? When I was young, I was flying as
- 38:13Speaker 1: an unaccompanied minor with my sister. We're both under the
- 38:16Speaker 1: age of fifteen. So you like, you wear like this
- 38:18Speaker 1: lanyard you're an unaccompanied minor, and like a worker at
- 38:20Speaker 1: the airport has to take you past because your parents
- 38:22Speaker 1: can take you to security, and then they take you
- 38:24Speaker 1: they're allowed to go through security, and so then an
- 38:27Speaker 1: airport worker you get to go on like a golf
- 38:29Speaker 1: curt and they take you all the way to the gate.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Walking on the plane. First halfway through a flight from
- 38:35Speaker 1: like Canada or to Australia, this guy has a seizure,
- 38:39Speaker 1: really scary, two three seats away from us. This guy
- 38:42Speaker 1: like unfortunately, I felt really bad for him. I didn't
- 38:45Speaker 1: know what it was at the time, but like he
- 38:47Speaker 1: I think that he must have had them often because
- 38:53Speaker 1: I he like it's like pitch black, or like when
- 38:57Speaker 1: they turn it down the lights down the pitch black,
- 38:59Speaker 1: but everyone's like sleeping and he just like goes ra
- 39:03Speaker 1: really and it's like he was fighting it because he
- 39:05Speaker 1: knew it was going to happen. And I feel like
- 39:07Speaker 1: when I got a little older and a little more
- 39:09Speaker 1: self aware, I felt really bad for this guy. I like,
- 39:12Speaker 1: thinking back, feels so bad for him because like he
- 39:14Speaker 1: was clearly fighting it, but then it took over and
- 39:16Speaker 1: he just had a seizure and I was like, I
- 39:18Speaker 1: was like fucking nine. I was like, what is going on?
- 39:21Speaker 1: And you meant to just leave him too? I think
- 39:24Speaker 1: a siez. Yeah, so that an epilepsy. I actually don't know,
- 39:27Speaker 1: but they did a PA thing was like anybody a
- 39:29Speaker 1: doctor blah blah blah, and so like it's some guy
- 39:31Speaker 1: that was a doctor. That's scary too because also as
- 39:33Speaker 1: a nine year old is no figure of nine nine
- 39:35Speaker 1: year old. It's like it kind of would look like
- 39:36Speaker 1: a zombies coming. I was terrified. Questions to ask to
- 39:41Speaker 1: find out if he's a psychopath? Do you change out
- 39:44Speaker 1: of your work uniform as soon as you get home
- 39:45Speaker 1: from work? Yeah, great question. And if he doesn't he's
- 39:47Speaker 1: a psycho, one great question? Do you set more than
- 39:50Speaker 1: one alone in the morning. Oh I think that. Oh
- 39:57Speaker 1: whah Okay. When I needed to set an alarm, I
- 40:03Speaker 1: definitely had two or three. Why just wake up on
- 40:06Speaker 1: the first time. I think it's crazy to be able
- 40:08Speaker 1: to wake up on the first one.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I reckon one. One alarm is psychopathic? Really, Yeah, to
- 40:12Speaker 2: set it for the time you want to wake up
- 40:13Speaker 2: and get up, I think you're a psycho for being
- 40:16Speaker 2: able to do that.
- 40:17Speaker 1: What ever, no, I can cycle for being able to
- 40:21Speaker 1: do that. Who has their life together enough to be
- 40:24Speaker 1: able to wake up on the first one. When I'm awake,
- 40:26Speaker 1: im awake. So as soon as I'm awake, I can't
- 40:28Speaker 1: go back this sleep anyway? Oh really, Like, if it's
- 40:31Speaker 1: between probably five and seven, I can't go back to sleep.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So maybe it doesn't mean I'm like a three alarm guy.
- 40:38Speaker 1: All right? Do you put milk in your cereal first?
- 40:41Speaker 1: Or cereal then milk? Oh my god, imagine if somebody
- 40:45Speaker 1: did milk first. Yeah, imagine that. I imagine if someone
- 40:48Speaker 1: didn't milk, that's like they're going to jail for something
- 40:50Speaker 1: after this. The only reason I could think of someone
- 40:51Speaker 1: wanted to do milk first is because they don't like
- 40:54Speaker 1: they want this cereal to stay like crunchy and dry
- 40:56Speaker 1: and get like a lot of crunch and a little
- 40:58Speaker 1: bit of milk, but like just kind of pour the
- 41:01Speaker 1: milk in one spot instead of pouring it all over.
- 41:03Speaker 1: There'd be some weird people out there. Questions to ask
- 41:06Speaker 1: to find out if he's psychopathic? Can you bite ice?
- 41:09Speaker 1: I hate people that chew on ice? I know who.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I'm sorry whoever I'm upsetting right now. I actually don't
- 41:15Speaker 1: even know if Beth likes to do this or not.
- 41:16Speaker 1: But if she does, hates a strong word, hates a
- 41:20Speaker 1: very strong word. But if you can chew on ice,
- 41:21Speaker 1: then you have metal for teeth, Like, what is going on?
- 41:25Speaker 1: What else you chewing on? Yeah? What are you brushing
- 41:27Speaker 1: your teeth with? People who eat ice? Box? That's crazy
- 41:32Speaker 1: to me. Suck on that shit? Are you not? Yeah?
- 41:36Speaker 1: I feel like that was the best question. Best all right?
- 41:39Speaker 1: Last one? Questions to ask to find out if he's psychopathic?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Are you a Gemini? Oh? Is that the most psycho? One?
- 41:46Speaker 1: Two face, chaotic, emostly inconsistent?
- 41:48Speaker 2: Damn to look out? Twenty first of June to the
- 41:51Speaker 2: twentieth of July. Oh no, sorry, made the twenty first
- 41:54Speaker 2: to June and the twentieth. Oh really, sorry too. We
- 41:57Speaker 2: know a Gemini who is about to be a farmer.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Oh no, she's having to keep it the wrong man.
- 42:06Speaker 1: So only one the Gemini is out there. I didn't
- 42:07Speaker 1: know that asked that question. Must be news to the first.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm pretty confident you can gaslight any star signed to
- 42:16Speaker 2: be toxic. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're pretty sure
- 42:20Speaker 2: you can read.
- 42:20Speaker 1: The signs in whichever way possible. I've always wanted to be,
- 42:22Speaker 1: you know, one of those people who like read cards
- 42:24Speaker 1: and ship terror card reader. Yeah, I'd love to be
- 42:26Speaker 1: one of those people. And it's like gaslight people a time.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Do you remember when we have a great future? Do
- 42:33Speaker 1: you remember when we got five thousand listens? Oh remember
- 42:42Speaker 1: when we forgot about that. I don't know how many
- 42:44Speaker 1: episodes we were into the public, so we weren't getting
- 42:46Speaker 1: like five thousand per episode. It was like we had
- 42:48Speaker 1: hit five thousand all time listening. Let's do a fucking
- 42:52Speaker 1: extra episode. We went on like Facebook, marketplace or some
- 42:54Speaker 1: ship and found this guy that does like terrort card
- 42:56Speaker 1: readings over the phone. Was a woman or a man
- 42:59Speaker 1: that was a man. It was It was a weird
- 43:00Speaker 1: young dude and he did the two of us and
- 43:02Speaker 1: like it was the weirdest thing. Like we just did
- 43:05Speaker 1: this fucking random extra episode where bad is If you
- 43:09Speaker 1: want another another terror card, We're actually about to hit
- 43:13Speaker 1: six million listens. That's insane to me. We're about to
- 43:17Speaker 1: hit six million listens. So for a six million listen special,
- 43:20Speaker 1: do you want us to do terror card reading? But
- 43:22Speaker 1: we'll actually go in, make it a Patreon exclusive vlog
- 43:25Speaker 1: and we'll go in and film it. Yeah, that's a
- 43:27Speaker 1: great bit of style. Let us know, let us Finn
- 43:29Speaker 1: to film. We've got little friend Finn that like film
- 43:31Speaker 1: stuff is best. Let's go. That is time for comments.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I've got YouTube from Julia dash x five uu. She said, Yes,
- 43:45Speaker 1: I'm the same as Jake any admin, and I'm running
- 43:47Speaker 1: the other direction. Anytime my friends or family want to
- 43:49Speaker 1: organize a time to meet up or hang out, I
- 43:52Speaker 1: am able to leave them on red slash delivered for hours,
- 43:56Speaker 1: sometimes even until their next organizing related message. Whoops, it's
- 44:00Speaker 1: not on purpose, but planning equal stress must be nice,
- 44:03Speaker 1: say just to like disconnect from life. Yeah, it is jealousy.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I have Spotify and if you want to get a
- 44:10Speaker 2: comment read simply comment on the episode you are listening to,
- 44:13Speaker 2: I've got Courtney Dot Rose dot Robinson.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Ha ha.
- 44:16Speaker 2: My husband has always laughed when he comes. I wouldn't
- 44:19Speaker 2: call it a creepy laugh though. It's actually kind of
- 44:21Speaker 2: cute and makes me giggle too. And we have been
- 44:23Speaker 2: together for sixteen years, so it certainly didn't make me run.
- 44:28Speaker 1: So we're wrong, are we though? Proofs in the putting?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Are we proofs in the what if? It's like a
- 44:37Speaker 1: ha ha? Like A he comes, he's like, well, it's
- 44:40Speaker 1: just like Tucky's heading, Like what's yeah, but that's kind
- 44:43Speaker 1: of cool. No, what if it's what's the difference about it?
- 44:45Speaker 1: But I feel like that's better than like A I
- 44:50Speaker 1: want to hear a fuck yeah? What about like A yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 1: that's all right, it's so fucking creepy. I disagree.
- 45:00Speaker 2: His time for one of you to sign off the episode.
- 45:02Speaker 2: If you want to get called by us, the link
- 45:04Speaker 2: is in the description And Jake, who are we going
- 45:06Speaker 2: to call dude?
- 45:08Speaker 1: Dud dude? Let's call her dude? Hello? Was this Sasha? Yeah, Sasha,
- 45:18Speaker 1: it's jaking not from the relatables? How are you? Oh
- 45:21Speaker 1: my god? No way. The second week in ear that
- 45:30Speaker 1: one of the baddies been like, hello, I was just
- 45:36Speaker 1: listening to you all day. Let's go all right, Well,
- 45:41Speaker 1: we are calling to see if you could do the
- 45:43Speaker 1: honors of signing off the episode. Have you got anything
- 45:45Speaker 1: for us? Yes? Okay, So this is kind of what
- 45:53Speaker 1: I go by now because I'm a very stressed baddie
- 45:56Speaker 1: related exactly. Stress is called by giving a fuck, especially
- 46:07Speaker 1: if you can't control it. I like the can't control it,
- 46:10Speaker 1: but only give a fuck about what you can control.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I would wear that if that was on a shirt
- 46:14Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, I really like that. That's some good advice. Oh,
- 46:18Speaker 1: thank you very much, Sessa. Enjoy the rest of your day.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Thank you. I think she was driving, Yeah, I think
- 46:25Speaker 1: it was still good advice. And what was it against? Stress?
- 46:28Speaker 1: Stress is caused by giving a fuck pretty much. I'm
- 46:30Speaker 1: just not going to give a fuck. Ask me something.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Do you give a fuck? I don't give a fuck.
- 46:37Speaker 1: We love her, stay mad.
