- 0:53Speaker 1: let's go, let's come. It's a story you need to
- 0:56Speaker 1: hear to believe. Then grab your popcorn because there is more,
- 1:00Speaker 1: uh you, I've got a two for I do have
- 1:04Speaker 1: a two for right here, should I do it.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I've got time, I'm gonna do it. It's it's totally okay. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 2: there it is.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:13Speaker 1: First, Uh, just because you don't hear enough of people
- 1:17Speaker 1: calling Trump a dictator and a fascist? Can you believe
- 1:22Speaker 1: that this is still working? Can you believe that this
- 1:26Speaker 1: is I shouldn't say it's working. They're still doing it.
- 1:29Speaker 1: They're still talking like this as if somehow it is working.
- 1:33Speaker 1: This is Representative Dan Goldman, Democrat from New York, who
- 1:37Speaker 1: every time he speaks into a camera, he looks like
- 1:39Speaker 1: he's doing a hostage video.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Oh good lord. Well, I'll let it speak for itself.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Because the militarization of our cities and our domestic law
- 1:52Speaker 4: enforcement violates the posse comentatis law and violates everything that
- 1:58Speaker 4: we believe in an Americans. But just as I thought
- 2:01Speaker 4: there would be Republicans who would stand up for their
- 2:04Speaker 4: constituents and prevent them from losing healthcare, prevent them from
- 2:09Speaker 4: losing food benefits, prevent million billions of dollars of offshore
- 2:14Speaker 4: wind investment in their own districts. I thought they would
- 2:18Speaker 4: stand up for their own districts, and they didn't.
- 2:22Speaker 1: A couple of things. Nobody cares about offshore wind investments. Secondly,
- 2:26Speaker 1: nobody has lost food if you don't allow junk food
- 2:30Speaker 1: to be a snap benefit or a food stamp benefit,
- 2:32Speaker 1: that's okay. What was the argument, my kid doesn't deserve
- 2:35Speaker 1: a popsicle? What do you want from me? It's the
- 2:38Speaker 1: public money, and maybe it shouldn't be popsicles. How dare
- 2:44Speaker 1: you now say you're not giving me enough? But most importantly,
- 2:50Speaker 1: this is the again another Democrat saying we do not
- 2:53Speaker 1: want safe streets. Trump engaging federalizing in D is because
- 3:00Speaker 1: the problems in DC where a lot of other people
- 3:03Speaker 1: who live in blue states would love it if their
- 3:04Speaker 1: red state governors would do the same, actually try and
- 3:08Speaker 1: fix something.
- 3:11Speaker 2: That's what we're seeing. And yet you have these people.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Who are so desperate to appease their base because they're
- 3:17Speaker 1: so afraid of their base, which we know to be true,
- 3:21Speaker 1: that they're like.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Oh, Trump, is this is terrible? This able? No Republican
- 3:25Speaker 2: will stand up. Why would anybody stand up? What Republican
- 3:28Speaker 2: is supposed to stand up for the protection of DC?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Quote unquote when DC doesn't elect any Republicans. What is
- 3:37Speaker 2: this argument here?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Democrats run that city top to bottom and the city
- 3:41Speaker 1: is terrible, and right now the people are applauding the
- 3:45Speaker 1: opportunity to make it better.
- 3:47Speaker 4: So I have zero faith in the Republican Congress right now,
- 3:52Speaker 4: and that's what we need to be talking about, because
- 3:55Speaker 4: Donald Trump clearly is both distracting from Jeffrey Epstein but
- 3:59Speaker 4: all so following his worst instincts aggressively now and without
- 4:08Speaker 4: any measure of guardrails.
- 4:11Speaker 2: For guardrails, what guardrails.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He's the President of the United States, he got elected,
- 4:16Speaker 1: he has the power to engage this federalizing. He did it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It's all about Jeffrey Epstein. It's all distractions from EPs scene.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I want the Ebstein files. I don't think that the
- 4:24Speaker 1: people of DC, or the people of any city, where
- 4:26Speaker 1: they see the murder, see the robbery.
- 4:29Speaker 2: See the violence, I don't think they think it's a distraction.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I think they think, my God, finally someone's paying attention.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Generally come from Congress. Republicans control Congress. So right now
- 4:42Speaker 4: the question is, are Republican members of Congress going not
- 4:46Speaker 4: only to roll over to Donald Trump's will, but to
- 4:49Speaker 4: roll over our democracy and allow.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Him to take over.
- 4:54Speaker 4: This country as a fascist dictate.
- 4:58Speaker 1: It's always the same garbage these people, These people, the
- 5:02Speaker 1: same talking points, the same nonsense, the same ridiculousness. They
- 5:07Speaker 1: don't stop, they don't rest, they don't quit, and they're
- 5:09Speaker 1: only speaking to themselves. Everybody knows that there's a problem there,
- 5:14Speaker 1: just like we know there's a problem in Indianapolis. Yet
- 5:17Speaker 1: if you listen to people like Chuck Schumer, they'll tell
- 5:23Speaker 1: you that everything in DC is just fine.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Tee.
- 5:27Speaker 3: But first, a lot of folks on the Republican side,
- 5:29Speaker 3: your a Republican colleagues say that they are very scared
- 5:32Speaker 3: to walk outside in DC. That they think this is
- 5:34Speaker 3: completely the right thing to do. Senator, Are you scared
- 5:38Speaker 3: walking around Washington, DC?
- 5:39Speaker 2: These days? I walk around all the time.
- 5:41Speaker 5: I wake up early in the morning sometimes and take
- 5:44Speaker 5: a nice walk is the sun is rising around some
- 5:47Speaker 5: of the capital and the other monuments and things, and
- 5:50Speaker 5: I feel perfectly safe. They're full of it. Look here's
- 5:55Speaker 5: they're full of it. You feel safe walking around Indianapolis. No,
- 6:02Speaker 5: I've walked around Indianapolis, am I say? And do I
- 6:04Speaker 5: feel safe? Not necessarily?
- 6:06Speaker 3: Am?
- 6:06Speaker 1: I aware of everything around me? Absolutely, they're full of it.
- 6:11Speaker 1: This is Chuck Schumer telling the people of DC, you're
- 6:14Speaker 1: full of it. Well, if I had as many on
- 6:16Speaker 1: guards as the Senate Minority leader, maybe I think they're.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Full of it too.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Completely disconnected from reality, disconnected from where people.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Live and breathe.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And there's another great example of this that comes from
- 6:33Speaker 1: CNN and Jillian Michaels, you know, the Biggest Loser chick.
- 6:39Speaker 2: She's been incredible and she is not a conservative.
- 6:43Speaker 1: She just wants to be heard and progressive say nope, nope,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you can't have that. I will share that with you
- 6:51Speaker 1: Antoni Katch today. That one is unbelievable, Chuck Schumer, a
- 6:56Speaker 1: great encapsulation of why progresses and Democrats are so disconnected
- 7:00Speaker 1: from the American people and it's why they'll continue to lose.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Can't even admit there's a problem on the streets of DC.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And in Indianapolis, we can't even get the homeless encampment
- 7:12Speaker 1: cleaned up when we were promised it would happen. Is
- 7:17Speaker 1: there anything else that Joe hog Set can't do for
- 7:20Speaker 1: our city? Because that list is getting really, really, really long.
