Latest / Out of Bounds with Bo Bounds / Tom Luginbill - Ole Miss vs. Louisville DEEP Dive
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Nationville college football analyst with the ESPN Tom Logan Bill
- 0:03Speaker 1: joins us on the Farm Bureau Insurance guest line. Luke's
- 0:07Speaker 1: a big game that we're going to be talking to
- 0:09Speaker 1: you about for several weeks now that it is officially
- 0:12Speaker 1: football season. Ole Miss and Louisville neutral field in Nashville.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I think it's spicy. It's got a lot going on
- 0:19Speaker 1: here with Pete Golding's debut in the regular season. Brom's
- 0:22Speaker 1: done a good job at Western Kentucky and Purdue and Louisville,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and but Louisville is break So here's the way I
- 0:30Speaker 1: frame it up, just real quick. Ole Miss has the
- 0:32Speaker 1: advantage as far as roster and quarterback. Louisville has the
- 0:35Speaker 1: advantage as far as head coach in Brom because he's
- 0:38Speaker 1: done a great job everywhere he's been. But you sent
- 0:41Speaker 1: me an interesting text a couple.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Of days ago.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Louisville will roll out Lincoln con Holts from an Ohio
- 0:48Speaker 1: State transfer or this guy from West Georgia who actually
- 0:52Speaker 1: started there and played. Con Holts doesn't have any PT
- 0:56Speaker 1: under his belt, so he could be going against a
- 0:58Speaker 1: Pete Golding defense. We think it's gonna be pretty damn
- 1:01Speaker 1: good at minimum in game one? What can you tell
- 1:05Speaker 1: me about Lincoln con Holts when we as we march
- 1:09Speaker 1: into this game, Luke's So.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I actually had the Cotton Bowl between Ohio State and
- 1:18Speaker 2: Missouri a couple of years ago. If you recall, comic
- 1:20Speaker 2: coord decided to go into the transfer portal. Ohio State
- 1:24Speaker 2: went with Devin Brown. Devin Brown gets hurt in that
- 1:28Speaker 2: game and Lincoln Keenholtz has to play as a freshman,
- 1:33Speaker 2: and you know, at that time, obviously you're playing against
- 1:36Speaker 2: the top fifteen ranked, top ten ranked team. I don't
- 1:39Speaker 2: know where Missouri was at that time, and Missouri ended
- 1:41Speaker 2: up winning the game, but it was just it was
- 1:43Speaker 2: an overwhelming experience for the young guy. And so, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 2: some background on him, the kid out of South Dakota,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and he was a what I would label as one
- 1:53Speaker 2: of those guys that was a really good athlete that
- 1:56Speaker 2: played quarterback. But he's one of those players from a
- 1:59Speaker 2: recruiting for if. He was intriguing because when you watched him,
- 2:02Speaker 2: you're like, Okay, this guy could play more than one position.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Let's try to develop him at quarterback and then see
- 2:08Speaker 2: how that plays out. And so you know, he stayed
- 2:12Speaker 2: competed there a little bit, and then you know, put
- 2:14Speaker 2: himself on the open market. What I found to be
- 2:16Speaker 2: so intriguing is, you know, Jeff Brohm was I think,
- 2:23Speaker 2: really diligent and smart with the three transfer portal guys
- 2:28Speaker 2: that he took a Louisville, starting with Jack Plummer right
- 2:31Speaker 2: then it went to Tyler Schotts, then it went to
- 2:34Speaker 2: Miller Moss. Now the combon denominator of all three of
- 2:37Speaker 2: those guys is that they had played a ton of football.
- 2:40Speaker 2: You know, they had been around and they'd seen the
- 2:42Speaker 2: live bullets flying by. And so now Jeff Brom's could
- 2:47Speaker 2: try to completely go another direction, and it's kind of
- 2:51Speaker 2: going into developmental mode where he might be playing with
- 2:54Speaker 2: one or two different quarterbacks that really haven't played any
- 2:57Speaker 2: significant football, which is a total deviation from his process
- 3:01Speaker 2: to this point. And I think if you've seen anything
- 3:04Speaker 2: in the transfer port of the last three to five years,
- 3:08Speaker 2: is there is significant value in experience, especially early on
- 3:12Speaker 2: when you got to take on an opponent like Old
- 3:13Speaker 2: Miss and they're going to have an experienced guy and
- 3:16Speaker 2: you're not. So I'm going to be very intrigued to
- 3:17Speaker 2: see how this thing plays out.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Okay, so Lincoln keen Holts for our listeners, especially our
- 3:23Speaker 1: Old Miss fans, transfer from Ohio State. He may be
- 3:27Speaker 1: the guy, but I did read a couple of articles
- 3:30Speaker 1: yesterday that Davin Widner from West Georgia actually had a
- 3:35Speaker 1: better spring game than him, and he actually played all
- 3:38Speaker 1: those games at West Georgia last year. Even though keen
- 3:41Speaker 1: Holtz is the bigger name. We'll kind of see what
- 3:44Speaker 1: plays out. Luke's let's stay on Louisville and Old Miss
- 3:47Speaker 1: and anything else you can mine on keen Holtz as
- 3:50Speaker 1: we go back and forth, Please drop it. But Brom,
- 3:54Speaker 1: he's intriguing to me because he did a hell of
- 3:59Speaker 1: a job at wen Kentucky. He was able to go
- 4:02Speaker 1: into the hell hole of Purdue and get out. A
- 4:05Speaker 1: lot of times you just go to get paid, which
- 4:07Speaker 1: Bury Otam may be doing, and I get that too,
- 4:11Speaker 1: But he was able to go to Purdue and win
- 4:13Speaker 1: his way out and get to his alma mater. And
- 4:16Speaker 1: I think he's told some people know because it is
- 4:19Speaker 1: his alma mater. Although they're not a football school. Size
- 4:23Speaker 1: it up for me. I think Jeff Brohm is a
- 4:25Speaker 1: damn good football coach. How do you see it Lukes.
- 4:28Speaker 2: He is a really good football coach. And I think
- 4:30Speaker 2: the thing that people don't realize about the Louisville job
- 4:33Speaker 2: is while everybody's in the red right now in the
- 4:35Speaker 2: current state of college athletics, Louisville will invest in football.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Louisville got it been tastic football operations facility, an indoor facility.
- 4:45Speaker 2: They've done renovations for the stadium multiple occasions over the
- 4:49Speaker 2: last fifteen years. It's a good job. The downside of
- 4:53Speaker 2: the job is you don't have in state talent from
- 4:57Speaker 2: a high school recruiting perspective to just build your roster
- 5:00Speaker 2: without having a cross borders. They've got to go into
- 5:02Speaker 2: other people's backyards. But now with the transfer portal, you
- 5:05Speaker 2: know that that's not as significant as it as it
- 5:08Speaker 2: once was. If you recall back when Charlie Strong was
- 5:10Speaker 2: the coach there, you know, all of those guys that
- 5:13Speaker 2: they had, particularly on offense, were from South Florida, all right,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and so including Teddy Bridgewater, and so I think that
- 5:21Speaker 2: he's really happy there because from a conference affiliation standpoint,
- 5:25Speaker 2: they can compete. They've competed from the moment they joined it.
- 5:28Speaker 2: You know, they haven't been able to get into that
- 5:31Speaker 2: championship level, you know, compete to be in the championship
- 5:36Speaker 2: game consistently yet. But I do think it's the job
- 5:40Speaker 2: that has some patience, which is a good thing, and
- 5:44Speaker 2: it's a job that does have resources, even though you
- 5:46Speaker 2: know it's largely considered a basketball school.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Are they now in this new you mentioned the transfer
- 5:54Speaker 1: porty they finished in the top ten, so so he
- 5:58Speaker 1: you're right there. They gave Brohm and his staff money
- 6:03Speaker 1: Luke's to go shop for players because you don't ever
- 6:07Speaker 1: know how good they'll be, but they were able to
- 6:11Speaker 1: land some players with some pretty good pedigrees and finish
- 6:14Speaker 1: in the top ten in the in the portal rankings.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Do you see him as a guy that because that's
- 6:22Speaker 1: his alma mater, he's willing to stay there for a while.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I think, you know, if he continues to win and
- 6:31Speaker 2: maybe even elevated, you know further, then there's gonna be
- 6:36Speaker 2: some some places I think they would would be knocking
- 6:39Speaker 2: on the door where if you're if you're looking at
- 6:43Speaker 2: it from a national competitive standpoint, you'd have to consider overtures.
- 6:48Speaker 2: If a job comes around where you know your resources
- 6:53Speaker 2: and your funding, particularly on the nil side, administratively where
- 6:58Speaker 2: they're just one under sent all in on football. And
- 7:01Speaker 2: that's not to say that Louisville's not, but there's gonna
- 7:03Speaker 2: be some jobs that would be more attractive from that regard.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Then I think you have you have to listen now.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I think he needs to get in the a SEC
- 7:10Speaker 2: Championship game. I think he needs to put together some
- 7:12Speaker 2: ten plus win seasons to really become that guy that
- 7:18Speaker 2: somebody would target. But I just think you have to
- 7:22Speaker 2: in today's climate, you have to always be looking at
- 7:26Speaker 2: that because the expectation, right is that, Okay, well we
- 7:29Speaker 2: want to compete for a college football playoff Berth. Well,
- 7:32Speaker 2: in order to do that, you have to have everything
- 7:35Speaker 2: in your back pocket to be able to do that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And you know there are other jobs out there, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Like I look at the Penn State job in Matt Campbell,
- 7:44Speaker 2: and you know, I think Jeff Brown would have got
- 7:46Speaker 2: oh sorry about that guy, that's my dog.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Somebody got excited about Penn State. I like that. I
- 7:54Speaker 1: love it. Sorry man, No, you're good. Out of bounds.
- 8:01Speaker 1: ESPN one oh five nine The Zone. Tom Lougan Bill
- 8:04Speaker 1: says Penn State and his dogs get all fired up.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So they liked something about Penn State this year.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Luke's go ahead, Yeah, yeah, I just I think that's,
- 8:12Speaker 3: you know, that's the job that would be kind of
- 8:14Speaker 3: in line with the conversation that we're having, right is Okay,
- 8:19Speaker 3: where where would.
- 8:20Speaker 2: The resources be that could get you to be a
- 8:22Speaker 2: consistent college football playoff contender each and every year? And
- 8:26Speaker 2: I think it's those the jobs It would you know,
- 8:29Speaker 2: probably lure a guy like Jeff Brohm to consider leaving.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But other than that, I think he's got a great
- 8:35Speaker 2: situation there.
- 8:36Speaker 1: All right, we were talking Ole Miss and Louisville. Uh,
- 8:40Speaker 1: ole Miss could be facing Lincoln Keenholtz, who's a transfer
- 8:45Speaker 1: from Ohio State and hasn't really ever played at the
- 8:48Speaker 1: college level. That bodes well for Old Miss. Lukes, What
- 8:52Speaker 1: did you think about the way I framed it up.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I look at it like Ole Miss has the advantage
- 8:57Speaker 1: as far as roster, they have the advantage as far
- 9:00Speaker 1: as quarterback, and not that Golding's not a good coach,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but Louisville has the advantage as far as head coach
- 9:06Speaker 1: because brom has over ten years of head coaching experience
- 9:10Speaker 1: at Western Kentucky, Purdue, and Louisville and has a proven
- 9:14Speaker 1: track record with all three. What do you think about
- 9:18Speaker 1: the way I framed up that game.
- 9:20Speaker 2: No, I think that's fair. I think it's valid. I
- 9:22Speaker 2: also think that they will likely play the West Georgia
- 9:25Speaker 2: kids because he's played and he's played well, He's played
- 9:28Speaker 2: at a high level. It gives them a better chance
- 9:32Speaker 2: than the opener to have somebody that has has been
- 9:37Speaker 2: in gains and seen significant snaps. You know, I think
- 9:41Speaker 2: the thing about Jeff Brom if you've watched Louisville is
- 9:44Speaker 2: you know they're they're always creative on offense. They are
- 9:48Speaker 2: they are going to be well coached, they will be
- 9:51Speaker 2: well prepared. Old Miss will probably top to bottom have
- 9:55Speaker 2: better players, which I would take that over anything else. Yes,
- 10:00Speaker 2: the quarterback position for role Miss gives them, I think,
- 10:03Speaker 2: distinct advantages over gain preparation from the other head coach.
- 10:10Speaker 1: How do you see Louisville in the your doubt in
- 10:12Speaker 1: the a CC you started at quarterback in the ACC.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Where do you put Louisville? Are they in your tier two?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Kind of in the a CEC right now, Luke's I
- 10:24Speaker 1: think that their tier two probably blended tier.
- 10:27Speaker 2: One, you know, they've kind of been in the top
- 10:30Speaker 2: five pack over the last couple of years. You know,
- 10:34Speaker 2: when when you consider, okay, you know, a team like Clemson,
- 10:39Speaker 2: but then you in a team like Miami. I mean,
- 10:41Speaker 2: obviously they haven't been in that class, but they've been
- 10:44Speaker 2: kind of similar to what SMU has become in a
- 10:46Speaker 2: short period of time in that conference. But I would
- 10:49Speaker 2: say that they've gone past Florida State and becoming more
- 10:54Speaker 2: stable and more productive and more reliable from an on
- 10:58Speaker 2: field product each and every week. And I think that,
- 11:01Speaker 2: you know, they're probably in that same group with MC
- 11:04Speaker 2: State and SMU as I mentioned, I don't think I
- 11:07Speaker 2: think they're they're further along than Virginia and North Carolina.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Probably similar in terms of on field production to what
- 11:15Speaker 2: Duke has been over the last you know, at least
- 11:18Speaker 2: since Mike Elko got there and then departed now under
- 11:20Speaker 2: Manny Diaz. So now you're probably putting them in the
- 11:23Speaker 2: top five or sixteen.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Okay, Tom Logan Bill on ESPN one oh five, done
- 11:32Speaker 1: the zone driven by your next GMC Sierra truck at
- 11:35Speaker 1: Fowler GMC Pearl, Brandon Dabo Sweeney. I know I love
- 11:40Speaker 1: asking you this periodically because I know. I mean, no
- 11:45Speaker 1: one in college football was more locked into Clemson for
- 11:49Speaker 1: a ten year run like you were because of where
- 11:52Speaker 1: you live, being a national college football guy all that,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and when when when Venables and Scott and la and
- 12:00Speaker 1: all those guys were going through and they were winning
- 12:02Speaker 1: all that, you were right there. Do you think Dabbo
- 12:10Speaker 1: can ever bottle the magic again at Clemson or he's
- 12:16Speaker 1: already a Hall of Fame coach but his best is
- 12:19Speaker 1: in the rearview mirror.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well, I think they've got access to the same type
- 12:23Speaker 2: of player that they've always had access to. The landscape
- 12:26Speaker 2: has chanced. They've fought it right, they've pushed back, they
- 12:29Speaker 2: haven't kind of fallen in line, and really it might
- 12:33Speaker 2: have beenion truly accepted, Okay, this is the new world order,
- 12:36Speaker 2: and if we don't get in, you know, we're gonna
- 12:40Speaker 2: struggle to get back to that pinnacle. I do think
- 12:42Speaker 2: there's some validity.
- 12:43Speaker 3: In that.
- 12:45Speaker 2: High school recruiting. I don't think has really shifted for them.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I think they've done a great job there. Their player
- 12:50Speaker 2: development has always been very strong. Their player retention has
- 12:54Speaker 2: for the most part, been very strong. I gotta be
- 12:57Speaker 2: honest with you, if I just oversimplified it here. They've
- 13:02Speaker 2: missed on quarterbacks back to back, and remember they had
- 13:05Speaker 2: like a nine year run between Taj Boyd, Deshaun Watson,
- 13:11Speaker 2: you could even throw Kelly Bryant in there, and then
- 13:14Speaker 2: of course Trevor Lawrence where they nailed the quarterback position,
- 13:19Speaker 2: and then they flopped big on DJ Luiangola. And I
- 13:23Speaker 2: think there were very mixed results with Kate Klubnick, who
- 13:27Speaker 2: at times looked like he's going to be a pretty
- 13:29Speaker 2: good player, but could never sustain it, could never elevate it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: And I think that has set them back as much
- 13:36Speaker 2: as anything else. And what's going to be interesting. I
- 13:38Speaker 2: think all eyes are going to be on Chrismasina because
- 13:42Speaker 2: Clemson chose not to go in the transfer portal and
- 13:45Speaker 2: supplement the quarterback room. Now they bring Chad Morris back
- 13:48Speaker 2: from an offensive coordinator perspective, I think that will be
- 13:50Speaker 2: a positive. He In Dabbo, I think have always been
- 13:54Speaker 2: on the same page, but they're they're going to ride
- 13:56Speaker 2: Christmas in a based off of a very small stamples
- 13:59Speaker 2: start last year. But they must have saw something that
- 14:02Speaker 2: they really liked that they thought it could be the
- 14:04Speaker 2: answer for him. But that position more than anything else.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Is I think been directly related to what you know.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Their slip has been on the field.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Tom Lougan Bill with the ESPN joining us on the
- 14:16Speaker 1: out of bounds ship is let's go back to Trinidad Chambliss.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Is he about faring away the best decision maker at
- 14:25Speaker 1: quarterback in the SEC?
- 14:29Speaker 2: I think he's in the discussion. I would say that
- 14:31Speaker 2: arch Manning is certainly in the discussion when it comes
- 14:34Speaker 2: to just pure decision making. I think that Trinidad, as
- 14:40Speaker 2: far as decision making, is probably proven to be more
- 14:44Speaker 2: consistent than John Mattier at Oklahoma. You know, Gunner Stockton
- 14:49Speaker 2: has been a guy that's been uber consistent for Georgia.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Probably doesn't get the credit he's due until we see
- 14:55Speaker 2: Leonora Stellers take the game to the next level, which
- 14:58Speaker 2: I think a lot of people are expecting will happen
- 15:00Speaker 2: in this fall. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.
- 15:02Speaker 2: He's been more productive and consistent than Leonora's sellers, so
- 15:07Speaker 2: I think I think it's fair to make that assessment.
- 15:10Speaker 2: You know, we don't know yet. With Auburn and USF
- 15:13Speaker 2: transfer Byron Brown, although he's been super productive when he
- 15:16Speaker 2: was he was playing for the Bulls, and obviously he's
- 15:18Speaker 2: got a great relationship with his head coach, so there's
- 15:21Speaker 2: gonna be some continuity there. Well, we don't know yet
- 15:24Speaker 2: on Alabama. As I've said to you before with LSU
- 15:27Speaker 2: and Lane Kiffin, it's not about sam Levitt's ability. It's
- 15:30Speaker 2: about Sam Levitt's ability to stay healthy. Right, That's going
- 15:33Speaker 2: to be something we got to keep a real close
- 15:35Speaker 2: eye on. So I think Trinidad Chambliss is probably the
- 15:39Speaker 2: most complete player when it comes to having to defend
- 15:43Speaker 2: his arm and his legs. When it comes to decisions,
- 15:47Speaker 2: he's really good at being disciplined from within the pocket
- 15:51Speaker 2: and and not taken off unless he has to. I
- 15:53Speaker 2: think that's part of the decision making. It's not just
- 15:55Speaker 2: progressions and passing game reads. It's known when to flush
- 15:59Speaker 2: no and when to hang in there, knowing when the
- 16:01Speaker 2: play's broken down you've got to you know, you've got
- 16:03Speaker 2: a playoff platform. Now, that's probably where he has an
- 16:07Speaker 2: advantage over others.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Okay, let's go back to what you hit on earlier
- 16:11Speaker 1: with Jeff Brohm and Louisville and him going with an
- 16:15Speaker 1: inexperienced QB. It looks like Lane is absolutely not going
- 16:19Speaker 1: to do that in this new way, this of college football.
- 16:23Speaker 1: He's going to go and get somebody who's got big
- 16:26Speaker 1: time reps underneath his belt. How much risk is Kaitlin
- 16:30Speaker 1: de Boor and Alabama taken by kind of waiting on
- 16:34Speaker 1: and rolling out Keelan Russell and or Austin Mack, neither
- 16:38Speaker 1: who had played. I know Austin has waited, has bided
- 16:41Speaker 1: his time, but still Bama wants to win now and
- 16:45Speaker 1: getting punked by Indiana is not what they want, even
- 16:48Speaker 1: though they got into the second round of the college
- 16:49Speaker 1: football playoffs. How much risk is that for Kaylen to
- 16:53Speaker 1: Boor in Alabama?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Luke's I actually think it's minimal. And I say that
- 16:57Speaker 2: because I don't think it was a great trends for
- 17:00Speaker 2: portal quarterback class top to bottom. Okay, And and you
- 17:04Speaker 2: know when you've got guys like Keilan Russell, who they've
- 17:07Speaker 2: invested in and developed and is really really talented, more
- 17:11Speaker 2: talented than Austin Mack and a little bit more dynamic,
- 17:14Speaker 2: I think. But Austin Mack too has been in that system.
- 17:16Speaker 2: He's been in that program. They know what they're going
- 17:18Speaker 2: to get out of him. I think you're weighing risk
- 17:20Speaker 2: by saying, Okay, do we go out and get an
- 17:22Speaker 2: unknown who has or has not played, especially if we're
- 17:26Speaker 2: not in love with anybody. But we got these two
- 17:28Speaker 2: guys here that we know an awful lot about, that
- 17:29Speaker 2: we think are talented. It can take the next step.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I also think that retooling the offensive line, getting new
- 17:37Speaker 2: leadership from a from a coaching perspective, that's going to
- 17:40Speaker 2: play a big role for Alabama too. They can't they
- 17:43Speaker 2: can't do what they did last year where they go
- 17:44Speaker 2: into every single game and everybody in the stadium knows
- 17:47Speaker 2: that they can't run the football, right, that's just that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That's not now when you have a guy like Ty
- 17:52Speaker 2: Simpson that could they could compensate for that because he
- 17:55Speaker 2: was really really good, and I would argue really really
- 17:59Speaker 2: good considering that he kind of had to do it
- 18:02Speaker 2: all on his own, you know, that was kind of
- 18:05Speaker 2: an eraser for them. But with limited experience, you may
- 18:08Speaker 2: not necessarily have that. So the run game I think
- 18:11Speaker 2: is every bit as pivotal to the development of those
- 18:14Speaker 2: quarterbacks and how fast they come along is anything else.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Okay, Having said that, like we have con I've only
- 18:24Speaker 1: got a minute. We have confidence in Georgia, LSU, maybe Texas,
- 18:29Speaker 1: possibly Old Miss. Do you think Alabama can be there
- 18:33Speaker 1: in the hunt in the end in mid to late
- 18:35Speaker 1: November with one of those two quarterbacks.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Absolutely, because I think they're loaded on defense. They're going
- 18:43Speaker 2: to be really good on that side of the football.
- 18:45Speaker 2: They've got targets, they've got running back. I mean, the
- 18:48Speaker 2: quarterback and the offensive line is going to be is
- 18:51Speaker 2: going to be the question that needs to be answered.
- 18:54Speaker 2: And I don't think necessarily because of how good they're
- 18:57Speaker 2: going to be on defense, that the quarterback has to
- 18:59Speaker 2: be a superhero. I think the quarterback has to not
- 19:02Speaker 2: screw it up right, just take the plays that are
- 19:04Speaker 2: there to be made, make the routine plays routinely, and
- 19:07Speaker 2: as you grow and blossom, you put more on that
- 19:09Speaker 2: quarterback's plate, and then you start to ask more of
- 19:12Speaker 2: them as he becomes more and more comfortable. But they've
- 19:15Speaker 2: got components around the quarterback in my opinion, that will
- 19:19Speaker 2: allow them to work through the development of the quarterback
- 19:24Speaker 2: because they're going to be They're gonna be talented and
- 19:26Speaker 2: deep around them.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Okay, I know this is ridiculous to say, but I
- 19:32Speaker 1: love just saying it. Bama is the sleeper question mark
- 19:36Speaker 1: love it. Okay. I had somebody else's tied into the
- 19:41Speaker 1: Bama program that said what you just said. They are
- 19:45Speaker 1: going to be really good on defense and there's no
- 19:48Speaker 1: doubt that that can carry you. Tom Lougan Bill, have
- 19:50Speaker 1: a great weekend, my man. We'll talk next week.
- 19:53Speaker 2: We'll do Thanks Bob to see it.
