- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Maine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abbey Unfiltered. I
- 0:07Speaker 2: gotta give credit where credit is due, because I'm about
- 0:09Speaker 2: to put you on the spot with this one. Abby.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Oh God, I gotta give you credit because I realized
- 0:14Speaker 2: as I was literally just maybe this is TMI, that's
- 0:16Speaker 2: what the podcast is for.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I was in the bathroom and I thought.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Man, don't think about me in the bathroom.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You react so quick to the random crap that I
- 0:24Speaker 2: throw your way.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You be throwing things.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm gonna throw another one at you. Okay,
- 0:29Speaker 2: this is why that thought happened. I was like, you
- 0:30Speaker 2: know what, Abby could handle this question. I was walking
- 0:33Speaker 2: in the hallway and I got this whiff and I
- 0:34Speaker 2: was like, wow, that's de lifeful. Sorry. Somebody smelled really.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Good and my first thought was on guarded no.
- 0:45Speaker 2: So I was like, so do I search the person
- 0:48Speaker 2: out and let them know that they smell good? And
- 0:51Speaker 2: I thought, wait a second, is that a creepy compliment
- 0:54Speaker 2: to let somebody know?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Because I went in two different directions with this.
- 0:57Speaker 2: If you smell good, you deliberately something to want to
- 1:00Speaker 2: smell good? Yes, But if somebody tells you that you
- 1:04Speaker 2: smell good? Does that come off that's a little weird,
- 1:07Speaker 2: Like why you're smelling me?
- 1:09Speaker 1: I think it depends on who's saying it and what
- 1:12Speaker 1: the context is. Like, if you're just kind of a
- 1:13Speaker 1: group and you go somebody here smells really good, you're
- 1:16Speaker 1: probably in the vicinity to like smell it. But if
- 1:18Speaker 1: you like in the hallway and you're like going from
- 1:20Speaker 1: room to room and be like give me, you're like Batman,
- 1:24Speaker 1: You're like, where's Rachel, where's the drugs? Who's got the
- 1:27Speaker 1: sentel thirty three on?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I'm glad you say that because I literally
- 1:31Speaker 2: just had that moment because I was in the hall way.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I like, it smelled very clean and floral.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And you know what I think it is. I got
- 1:39Speaker 1: my hair done in the sweatshirt, and I think it's
- 1:42Speaker 1: whatever hair products they use because I can smell it
- 1:44Speaker 1: on me.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Okay, So if somebody, let's say you walk by, and
- 1:47Speaker 2: let's say one of the guys in the office is like.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Well, depends are they coming in here to be like
- 1:51Speaker 1: you smell so good?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Well, there's okay, because there's a couple of people and
- 1:54Speaker 2: I see the more I talk about the creepier feel.
- 1:58Speaker 2: There are a couple of people that smell real good,
- 2:00Speaker 2: very like nose oriented.
- 2:02Speaker 1: But I know, I tell you know who smells really good.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We have a very good smelling team apart from us,
- 2:06Speaker 1: because I feel like I aggressively try to smell good
- 2:09Speaker 1: all the time and I feel like I never smell good.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yes, Like currently I'm sitting here, I'm like, oh, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: can smell my hairstylis hair spray on me? But that's it? Yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 1: I think it got. I can smell it somewhere on me.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I don't know if it's on the sweatshirt because this
- 2:25Speaker 1: is the sweatshirt I wore when I got my hair done.
- 2:27Speaker 1: M m, but I can smell it somewhere, and I'm like,
- 2:29Speaker 1: oh my god, that's crazy that it's literally lingering on
- 2:31Speaker 1: me right now. Our boss, Jenna always smells, has a
- 2:35Speaker 1: very specific smell, and Alexia also has a very specific
- 2:38Speaker 1: smell or coworker.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So it's they would appreciate that I'm not gonna be
- 2:43Speaker 3: but ill.
- 2:43Speaker 1: But I tell them this all the time. I don't
- 2:45Speaker 1: know that I've told Jenna this, but I might have
- 2:47Speaker 1: said somebody to Jenna Boor, I'm like, it always smells
- 2:49Speaker 1: really good in here office.
- 2:50Speaker 3: For sure.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It's a very specific sense. So I'm like, I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: know what laundry detergent you're using. I don't know Alexia
- 2:56Speaker 1: like what she is using. She said, it's like a
- 2:58Speaker 1: mixture of certain perfumes.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Don't understand. I mean, I guess I'm the same as
- 3:02Speaker 2: you because I have done the Colonne thing. I wear
- 3:04Speaker 2: a good deodor and I showered twice a day. Yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 2: but I still never feel like I'm that person.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I completely agree where I'm like, I would like to
- 3:11Speaker 1: radiant sense the way that they radiate sense.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I don't. I don't.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I think it's this, let's get scientific. I think it's biochemistry.
- 3:18Speaker 1: No, because Alexi has told me what perfume she wears,
- 3:21Speaker 1: she goes, oh, yeah, I mix this perfume in this perfume,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and that's what makes it smell like that. And then
- 3:25Speaker 1: when she smelled different one day, she said, oh, well
- 3:27Speaker 1: I didn't mix it this time around.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Oh and did you notice?
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but I smell her before I can see her.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Okay, you know what.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Same with Jenna. Like, if Jenna's walking down the hall,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I'm like, Jenna is.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Here, okay, because yeah, there's somebody in the building that
- 3:39Speaker 2: the same thing. It's like I know they're around, yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 2: and it's like I'm not going to compliment them because
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm like that this feels weird. So bro smell real good.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Let me get a.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Sniff of that neck Yep.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Probably not the first thing I want to sell them, yeah, Kevin,
- 3:50Speaker 2: but it is one of those things like if I
- 3:53Speaker 2: smelled really good, I would want someone to tell me
- 3:55Speaker 2: so I know that it's working.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't have a scent. I don't never smell
- 3:59Speaker 1: you in less you fart in the studio and then
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm like, that's great, but I'm in here.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Well I okay because I was And this is many
- 4:08Speaker 2: months ago. I finally won a gift card one of
- 4:10Speaker 2: our events, and I was going to get a clone
- 4:11Speaker 2: and still never done that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Well, oh yeah, you were so adamant about it was
- 4:15Speaker 1: like my first week at the office, we had this
- 4:17Speaker 1: raffle at a company party. It's fair. I still haven't
- 4:21Speaker 1: used my fifty dollar Chiky's gift card.
- 4:23Speaker 3: That's literally breakfast. I would have used that the next day,
- 4:25Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:25Speaker 1: But the thing is breakfast food always makes me hungrier
- 4:28Speaker 1: throughout the day. Like a pancake a good always spikes
- 4:30Speaker 1: my blood sugar. So I always have to think, what
- 4:33Speaker 1: day am I going to be comfortable being hungry?
- 4:36Speaker 3: That's such an interesting way to think.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I mean, I'm like, I'm going to load up on
- 4:39Speaker 2: eggs and pancakes and then maybe take a nap.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I need to be prepared for the rest
- 4:44Speaker 1: of the day to like do nothing. And then you
- 4:47Speaker 1: were so excited to get this fifty dollar gift card
- 4:49Speaker 1: to Macy's because you're like, I'm getting cologne. Yeah, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: think you still haven't.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Well, the thing is it was supposed to be a date,
- 4:54Speaker 2: but since my relationship and we have a little bit
- 4:57Speaker 2: of distance between us, like the first priority is not
- 4:59Speaker 2: just to go walk around the stores. It's been like
- 5:02Speaker 2: big date, or I set up a hotel stay, or
- 5:04Speaker 2: we'll go travel somewhere. Yeah, we haven't had enough downtime
- 5:07Speaker 2: where it's like, oh, what do you want to do. Oh,
- 5:09Speaker 2: let's go to the store, or we haven't found ourselves
- 5:12Speaker 2: in like let's say the mall area. Yea to go
- 5:14Speaker 2: to a Macy's so it will happen. I still want
- 5:16Speaker 2: that cent.
- 5:17Speaker 3: We bring it up.
- 5:17Speaker 2: We just it seems to be on the last thing
- 5:19Speaker 2: on our priorities whenever we're together.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so eventually I want to get that scent.
- 5:23Speaker 1: He means to good. Make it a priority.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Oh what if you did this week?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Oh and because she lives so far away.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Wait a second, that's not a horrible idea. I can
- 5:32Speaker 2: make that the plan for Friday.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It's to Macy's.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Is there a good Macy's here?
- 5:37Speaker 2: I think there's in the mall and the International Mall
- 5:40Speaker 2: for sure.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You go to Rocos Tacos, get above, and then you
- 5:43Speaker 1: walk around Macy's and you have her pick out a cent.
- 5:46Speaker 3: You know what, damn it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I think that's sexy.
- 5:48Speaker 4: I do.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Well.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I think she does too, because I said it to
- 5:50Speaker 2: her and she's like, oh, I love that, and I
- 5:52Speaker 2: just have not made it a priority.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Make it a priority this weekend.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Okay, that's a good idea because I do.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Want to have that, but I want it to be
- 5:58Speaker 2: And I've done this with other sense where it's like,
- 5:59Speaker 2: damn scared, I smell good.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I don't know why, but that's like the greatest compliment
- 6:02Speaker 3: in the world to me.
- 6:03Speaker 1: No, I know, I feel like I aggressively try to
- 6:05Speaker 1: smell good, but I feel like I don't have like
- 6:06Speaker 1: a specific scent.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Do you wear a perfume?
- 6:09Speaker 1: So I've done this and I feel like ever since
- 6:11Speaker 1: moving to Tampa, because I sweat so much, I've been
- 6:13Speaker 1: very intentional about it. Like I feel like back in Atlanta,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I was like, do I smell no great when when?
- 6:19Speaker 1: Whereas here I'm like, I have a very specific body
- 6:22Speaker 1: shower I have. I have a what's it called body wash?
- 6:24Speaker 1: I have a vanilla scented but I sound like American psycho.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I have a vanilla Vanilla scented body wash and an
- 6:29Speaker 1: AHA cleanser. I have a Vanilla san tall scented deodorant.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I recently upgraded my detergent from scent less to scented.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I get that very sensitive skin. So I just found
- 6:45Speaker 1: like I have to use a very specific detergent. It's scented,
- 6:49Speaker 1: but it is for sensitive skin.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Damn.
- 6:51Speaker 2: That's impressive because it's hard to find. Like I went,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I tried to do the whole aluminum free route for
- 6:56Speaker 2: a long time.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The deodorant, I feel like guys can't do that.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I can't.
- 6:59Speaker 2: No works for about four seconds and then you're smell
- 7:02Speaker 2: like shit, you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Can find a good one like the one that The
- 7:04Speaker 1: one that I use is natural, which I know everyone's going,
- 7:06Speaker 1: oh my others, it goes. You just have to reapply.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You have to just reapply throughout the day.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Okay, But then where am I gonna put that deodorant.
- 7:13Speaker 1: In your car? It's like, you know, put in your
- 7:15Speaker 1: in your merse.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I see, And that's how I wore the mercer.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Put it in your pockets. Oh yeah, you have a
- 7:20Speaker 1: fanny pack? Will you telling me you don't know where
- 7:22Speaker 1: the freaking deodorant goes?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Well, now I'm trying not to do the fanny pack
- 7:26Speaker 2: as much. I'll put like a couple of cards in
- 7:28Speaker 2: my pocket and I'll leave the rest in the car.
- 7:30Speaker 3: So now I'm gonna carry a whole stick of deodorant.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Good lord, I don't necessarily carry it around, but you
- 7:35Speaker 1: gotta laid on thick for me. I don't know. I
- 7:37Speaker 1: haven't gotten any complaints yet. I mean I recently I
- 7:40Speaker 1: somewhat switched. I recently switched, so maybe the last one
- 7:44Speaker 1: I had didn't work.
- 7:45Speaker 4: It's funny that it's so risky to switch, though, because
- 7:48Speaker 4: you switch, and it's like, how much different could these
- 7:51Speaker 4: two mfors be that one makes me smell amazing, the
- 7:54Speaker 4: other I smell like crap in ten minutes.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I feel like I've had good luck. But I don't know.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Maybe I also you would think I would smell in
- 8:01Speaker 1: HD now that I got my nose job, But I
- 8:03Speaker 1: honestly I don't feel like I have very strong scent receptors.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Does is it supposed to help?
- 8:08Speaker 1: I don't know. You think it would.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think I can.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I can breathe a little bit better on my right side.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Mm.
- 8:16Speaker 1: But that's about it.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Do you ever think that a studio smells bad?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Sometimes?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Oh?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Man?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, see that's like I'm a huge guy on like
- 8:22Speaker 2: lights and smells, and if I can't get both right,
- 8:25Speaker 2: oh my god. No.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But it's not like a consistent thing. Sometimes I'm like,
- 8:29Speaker 1: Scott needs to do something. Yes, no, no, like sometimes
- 8:34Speaker 1: I think you fart.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Maybe. Sometimes it's like I can't. I can't say I haven't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I know, I can't say that I haven't.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Oh great, well I just thought that was I just
- 8:44Speaker 2: walked outside. I was like, do I let him know? No,
- 8:46Speaker 2: I'm not going to let them know.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But some people don't like sense, Like some people get
- 8:49Speaker 1: very sensitive to smells.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Some people I know are like allergic to like very
- 8:53Speaker 2: popular spells.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I used to have that because I lit.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I got in a lot of trouble one year because
- 8:57Speaker 2: I had a candle in the studio, which apparently you
- 9:00Speaker 2: should never have candles in an office building.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You shouldn't have candles in a studio period.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Okay, wahozard, that's what I got yelled at for. But
- 9:06Speaker 2: then I also had the scent.
- 9:07Speaker 3: I think it.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Meanwhile, my straightener is sitting here on twenty four to seven.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I'm not saying anything. If you burned down the studio,
- 9:14Speaker 3: they gonna be mad.
- 9:15Speaker 1: They're can be so mad, so mad.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But I had a lavender candle and one of the
- 9:18Speaker 2: jocks was allergic to lavender. See that. I almost sent
- 9:21Speaker 2: his ass to the hospital because I wanted the studio
- 9:22Speaker 2: to smell good. We could get a diffuse. Can we
- 9:25Speaker 2: get a diffuser like the one that like shoots out
- 9:27Speaker 2: the steam?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, like so it smells like a spa in here.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I think so.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I feel like we can get a diffuser because that's
- 9:33Speaker 1: like not fire, it's not a fire hazard.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I don't My thing is, I'm sure they're gonna come
- 9:38Speaker 2: up with something. And this is just like behind the scenes. Literally,
- 9:42Speaker 2: anything we do that's extra to the studio, it gets
- 9:45Speaker 2: attacked quick.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Really. Yeah, like what name one?
- 9:49Speaker 2: I brought in a candle? Okay, that's a noble Oka five,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I understand. I brought in a wax melter.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Okay, no go. I feel like if I can have
- 9:56Speaker 1: my straightener in here, we can have a diffuser.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Here's the thing about the straight I don't think they
- 10:01Speaker 2: realized that you've left your straightener in here.
- 10:02Speaker 1: No Dylan noticed because because remember he said just make
- 10:05Speaker 1: sure you turn it off. Do you remember that? Yeah? Okay,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and it has automatic shut off, like it's a fancy straightener.
- 10:11Speaker 2: As long as the thing doesn't like I don't know
- 10:13Speaker 2: because the water moisture in the air. This is me
- 10:16Speaker 2: literally thinking what they're about to say, Like wild that
- 10:18Speaker 2: mess up anything in here? I feel like buttons. I
- 10:21Speaker 2: don't think so either, because.
- 10:22Speaker 1: We could very least like glade plugins. I feel like
- 10:24Speaker 1: glade plugins are scarier or those suckers get hot. But
- 10:28Speaker 1: I feel like a diffuser. Oh my god, we can
- 10:30Speaker 1: have like a soothing jasmine.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Honestly, I love sense that much.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I would love that.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Okay, here's what we need. Actually, we literally we have
- 10:39Speaker 1: a meeting with their boss after this and she always goes,
- 10:41Speaker 1: do you guys need anything? Now we're just we have
- 10:43Speaker 1: we've gotten the bare necessities done. We have like cameras
- 10:46Speaker 1: and lights and whatever, and now we're just being divas,
- 10:48Speaker 1: like actually on my rider, I need red Eminem's to
- 10:52Speaker 1: my office. Need a diffuser with eucalyptus in here.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I was thinking about then espresso as I was making
- 10:58Speaker 2: coffee earlier. I was like, are we going to commit
- 11:01Speaker 2: to the espresso? And then I thought of the business plan.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I was like, we get an espresso maker and we
- 11:06Speaker 2: just charge people like fifty cents if they want to
- 11:07Speaker 2: come by and have an espresso.
- 11:09Speaker 1: No, because here's the thing, me and you are gonna
- 11:11Speaker 1: have to keep our espresso pods with us at all times.
- 11:13Speaker 2: But what if we sell them for like fifty cents?
- 11:15Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I mean, what if something's craving a little espresso?
- 11:20Speaker 1: You know what? That actually be hysterical. We start like
- 11:21Speaker 1: a cafe in the studio, That's what.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I'm thinking, Like, you come by, you get your cup,
- 11:25Speaker 2: and it's so cheap that it's like, how could you
- 11:26Speaker 2: say no?
- 11:27Speaker 1: To that, because I mean I go in there and
- 11:28Speaker 1: I see like a little impulse by in the breakroom,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and I go, oh my god, We're we're gonna start
- 11:32Speaker 1: a coup with the breakroom. Yes, we're gonna start competition
- 11:36Speaker 1: with the breakroom, like we're gonna have better snacks. Wait,
- 11:39Speaker 1: that would be a really funny bit.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That would be all right, Well, then mark it down.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Wait, here's a really great idea. We need to get
- 11:45Speaker 1: a sales sponsor on this. So we need like a
- 11:49Speaker 1: coffee shop or a breakfast spot here in town to
- 11:52Speaker 1: come set up a little cafe in our studio.
- 11:54Speaker 2: That'd be soch And.
- 11:55Speaker 1: From Monday to Friday. We ask who's in charge of
- 11:58Speaker 1: like seeing how much we spend in breakroom?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Probably Jojo.
- 12:02Speaker 1: We see if we can beat the breakroom. Can we
- 12:07Speaker 1: get people to spend more money with us than the breakroom?
- 12:09Speaker 3: That's hilarious. Who keeps the money? Do we get to
- 12:11Speaker 3: keep the money?
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe we donated to charity because I
- 12:13Speaker 1: don't think we're gonna make that much money.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Could do that'd actually be really nice If we could
- 12:16Speaker 2: donate to charity, then it doesn't feel so douchey going
- 12:18Speaker 2: around the sales staff and saying, hey.
- 12:20Speaker 3: We got our cafe open.
- 12:22Speaker 1: We have a magic ninety four nine cafe. That's hysterical.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Actually that's funny. Okay, break that down.
- 12:27Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's really really fain'. That's like the office bit.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Start a little cast.
- 12:32Speaker 1: We go around to the sales pods and we're like,
- 12:34Speaker 1: we have our little trolley. Anything from the trolley after
- 12:39Speaker 1: the show.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I bought every flame of bay biscuit biscuit. Okay, well,
- 12:45Speaker 2: then we'll run that by our boss and maybe just
- 12:47Speaker 2: set it up. But that'd be cool if sales could
- 12:49Speaker 2: sell it.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Actually, they'd be funny. Well, my my, my mom's sister
- 12:53Speaker 1: and her husband. I don't know why I'm calling them
- 12:55Speaker 1: this my uncle my aunt. I don't know why I
- 12:58Speaker 1: decided to have the long route for that one. They're
- 13:00Speaker 1: starting a coffee shop called Lucky Goat. Have you heard
- 13:03Speaker 1: of Lucky Goat?
- 13:04Speaker 3: No?
- 13:04Speaker 1: I think it started at.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Fsu Oh wait, no, I think I had Wait, Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 1: They're opening up one here in Tampa.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Okay, No, I know of another Goat place in Tampa.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I guess that's not the same one, like the Yoga
- 13:14Speaker 2: Goat place. No, there's like a restaurant that was called
- 13:17Speaker 2: like Goat or something. But I guess it's not the
- 13:18Speaker 2: Lucky Goat because they don't serve coffee.
- 13:20Speaker 1: We also had Brady here, but just the Goat in general.
- 13:23Speaker 3: This is the Goat.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It was like a sports bar. I think it might
- 13:24Speaker 2: have closed. Yeah, I don't do much in Tampa, but
- 13:26Speaker 2: okay with the Lucky Goat. Yeah, they're opening a new
- 13:29Speaker 2: one in Tampa. They wait, your aunt and uncle owned.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Coffee shops, but now they do.
- 13:34Speaker 3: That's a cool random adventure.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I think this is like a side business or like
- 13:37Speaker 1: a retirement adventure they're doing. Okay, Like he was in
- 13:41Speaker 1: corporate for forever and now he's like, well I'm going
- 13:43Speaker 1: to retire in like ten years, so let me do
- 13:45Speaker 1: so many fun.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Do you ever think you'd do something like that where
- 13:47Speaker 2: it's like I think if I could open a little
- 13:50Speaker 2: wine shop, Oh that would be fun, awesome, or coffee.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Shop, you know what. I had this bad dream the
- 13:54Speaker 1: other day, and by baddream, I mean like I was
- 13:57Speaker 1: singing about this and while I was awake, I felt
- 14:00Speaker 1: like a bad dream as I was thinking, like if
- 14:03Speaker 1: if I could just do because that's always been my philosophy.
- 14:05Speaker 1: If I could just do anything and like money didn't matter,
- 14:08Speaker 1: Like what would I do? And I feel like I've
- 14:09Speaker 1: always just done that and then it's worked out. But
- 14:11Speaker 1: now I'm like older and I like like buying things.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah, things add up. Like my brother wants to like
- 14:15Speaker 2: this is a side tangent. He's like, I don't know
- 14:17Speaker 2: if I want to do my job. He makes decent
- 14:18Speaker 2: money as an engineer. Yeah, I'm like, I'm sure you're
- 14:21Speaker 2: gonna miss all the things that you've been able to
- 14:23Speaker 2: buy with all that money if you don't have it anymore, Like,
- 14:27Speaker 2: go ahead, test it out. I don't think you don't
- 14:29Speaker 2: like it as emotional like.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It, or maybe you will. I don't know. But what
- 14:32Speaker 1: I mean by that is like I feel like in
- 14:34Speaker 1: my later years and like what can I do to
- 14:35Speaker 1: make money? But now I'm like, maybe I need to
- 14:38Speaker 1: reflip what I'm thinking. It's like if I could do anything,
- 14:41Speaker 1: if I was seventy years old, I had this vision
- 14:42Speaker 1: in my head. I'm like, if I was retired and
- 14:44Speaker 1: I've you know, lived my life, and I don't have
- 14:46Speaker 1: any debt and all the things, and I've paid off
- 14:47Speaker 1: my house, blah blah, blah blah blah, Like what's the
- 14:49Speaker 1: thing that I would do that I would just like enjoy,
- 14:52Speaker 1: Like that would be like a fun job to go
- 14:53Speaker 1: to and it would be something like that, Like oh,
- 14:55Speaker 1: like be an author, Like I'd like open up a
- 14:57Speaker 1: wine store.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I want to do a coffee wine shop. In the morning,
- 15:01Speaker 2: it's coffee. At night it's wine.
- 15:03Speaker 1: So you want to work at Di Coffee?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yes, honestly, if it could be my spot, that would
- 15:07Speaker 2: be sweet. But it's like super small, Like we went
- 15:09Speaker 2: to this place actually in this sko will kind of
- 15:11Speaker 2: lead into how Friday went. We found this new little
- 15:14Speaker 2: spot in Saint Pete. It's like the Saint Pete's smallest bar.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It's called Bar Chinchilla Bar Chinchilla? Are there Chinchillas? I
- 15:20Speaker 2: wish that would have taken it to the next level,
- 15:22Speaker 2: but it was the world's not the world's It was
- 15:25Speaker 2: Saint Pete's smallest bar, but perfect setup for how I
- 15:29Speaker 2: envision how I would want my wine bar. You walk in,
- 15:31Speaker 2: there's like four tables and a bar and it's just
- 15:33Speaker 2: wine all over the wall, and you walk up and
- 15:36Speaker 2: the bartender is super chill and just lets you sample
- 15:39Speaker 2: pretty much everything that's where the mistakes happened. But we
- 15:43Speaker 2: sat there and talked here for like an hour and
- 15:44Speaker 2: a half, and I was like, if I could have
- 15:46Speaker 2: a bar, this would be it.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I don't need some big ass bar.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Give me the one that you want to just chill
- 15:51Speaker 2: and talk to the bartender, go on on a date,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and then in the morning you get an espresso.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I think that's like something that maybe now I knows
- 15:59Speaker 2: a bit and so owner you're like, oh, well, it's
- 16:01Speaker 2: actually really hard.
- 16:03Speaker 1: All your business is actually really hard.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You're gonna be there all day long and you're not
- 16:06Speaker 2: gonna make as much money as you think you are.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Got it.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, But it also sounds kind of nice because then
- 16:12Speaker 2: you get kind of cool with your employees. I don't
- 16:13Speaker 2: want to cook any food. I just want to make coffee.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But I do think coffee shops are a good business model.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I do too, because it's cheap and uncomplicated and everybody wants.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It, everybody needs it, and it's not going to go away. Well,
- 16:24Speaker 2: let me take that. I don't know. Coffee is like
- 16:26Speaker 2: super struggling right now.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Is it. I don't not. In Tampa, Tampa and Saint
- 16:31Speaker 1: Pete has huge coffee.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm talking about like literally the coffee bean in the show.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Oh, is it going to extined?
- 16:36Speaker 3: I think so? Why I love coffee, but it's.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Like what is the word?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Hey, I will figure out a way to replicate it.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You know what if that's the case, We'll get some
- 16:46Speaker 2: fake coffee. If it still tastes the same.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm in.
- 16:49Speaker 2: But speaking of Friday night, I did say yesterday I
- 16:52Speaker 2: flew up and I flew up.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Well, she actually didn't get this.
- 16:58Speaker 1: She didn't see you throw up on Friday. Well, yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I would have gotten the ick so bad.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Okay, you can't get the egg this many months in, Well,
- 17:06Speaker 2: actually you can, you totally can.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That's why divorces happens.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Done. Damn, I'm trying to do anything possible not to
- 17:12Speaker 2: get that dick.
- 17:12Speaker 1: No, she's fine, she's locked in.
- 17:13Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. But on Friday, we were
- 17:16Speaker 2: recreating our first date. That's how this started.
- 17:19Speaker 1: You act like you've been married to this girl for
- 17:20Speaker 1: like thirty years.
- 17:21Speaker 2: We went back to it feels like we've been together forever,
- 17:25Speaker 2: And then other times we looked at the actual calendar,
- 17:27Speaker 2: We're like, oh, it's been like four and a half.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Months in two days. Okay, so you recreated your first day.
- 17:31Speaker 2: We just haven't been back to the restaurant that we
- 17:34Speaker 2: actually went on our first date too, okay, which was
- 17:37Speaker 2: Savvy on Winelocker. Okay, over in Saint Pete, an incredible,
- 17:41Speaker 2: good little wine spot, good little tilan bites. And so
- 17:43Speaker 2: we get there and immediately it's just so perfect. We're
- 17:48Speaker 2: sitting outside, get a glass of bubbles. That bubbles leads
- 17:51Speaker 2: into a nice salad, and that salad leads to a
- 17:53Speaker 2: nice glass of white, and we bought the bottle of white.
- 17:56Speaker 3: So we had it was a.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Can't know because it was not a Savvy Bee, but
- 18:02Speaker 2: it was another one that's similar to it from God,
- 18:06Speaker 2: it's gone.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Oh since air like Verdunk, so true.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Make up things. I don't know, let's call it a
- 18:13Speaker 3: savvy be just.
- 18:14Speaker 1: For it wasn't Avin Blanc.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It was not a Savvy on Blanc. It was like
- 18:18Speaker 2: a Vernon.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Is that something similar?
- 18:20Speaker 1: We'll go with it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Okay, But we had that and it was incredible. We
- 18:23Speaker 2: should have probably at that moment realized, hey, this night,
- 18:28Speaker 2: it's already off to a great start. Let's maybe start
- 18:31Speaker 2: to like wrap things up. We're at dinner for like
- 18:33Speaker 2: maybe an hour and a half. But since we're recreating
- 18:35Speaker 2: our first date, we went to the bar that we
- 18:37Speaker 2: went to after, and that was Rubies. Ruby's is more
- 18:39Speaker 2: of a dive bar feel, where you get in there
- 18:41Speaker 2: and it's live music.
- 18:43Speaker 3: They got a I'm not gonna see.
- 18:46Speaker 2: They got a big bar that's smoky, and they make
- 18:49Speaker 2: the drinks tough. So I then switched and I went
- 18:51Speaker 2: to an espresso martini. God, I know that was a mistake.
- 18:56Speaker 1: You chose wine. You gotta stick with wine.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I didn't read Okay, here's the problem, and if you
- 19:00Speaker 2: could just follow along for a second. I was treating
- 19:02Speaker 2: myself like I've never learned any lessons from alcohol. Huh.
- 19:06Speaker 2: So I've already had my limit at that point, I
- 19:08Speaker 2: already had my limit. I wasn't like drunk, but I
- 19:10Speaker 2: was like, Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and keep this
- 19:12Speaker 2: train going. We're dancing with the band. Everyone's taking videos
- 19:16Speaker 2: of us, so we're vibing hard.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So the next spot in our date night was this
- 19:20Speaker 2: place called Whiskey Exchange. Hey, so of course I went
- 19:24Speaker 2: to whiskey.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So you gotta if you switch to vodka, then you
- 19:27Speaker 1: gotta stick with vodka. You've already switched once.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I went, yeah, so wine to vodka to whiskey. And
- 19:35Speaker 2: at that point we're vibing so hard. We decided let's
- 19:38Speaker 2: go and find another wine bar. So now here we
- 19:40Speaker 2: go back to wine.
- 19:42Speaker 1: On the mountain of alcohol. You've gone from a valley
- 19:44Speaker 1: back to a peak.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But it was so fun and this is why it's
- 19:47Speaker 2: just so cool. As the night just goes on, we're like,
- 19:49Speaker 2: it's enjoying each other's energy. And that's when we found
- 19:53Speaker 2: Bar Chinchilla. Y Now, I think if we would have
- 19:57Speaker 2: just ended right there, I would have been fine, where did.
- 20:00Speaker 1: You go after? What did you possibly need to do
- 20:02Speaker 1: after that? What time is it like two am?
- 20:04Speaker 3: Not even that. I think it was like maybe ten.
- 20:07Speaker 3: We go to Bar Chinchilla.
- 20:08Speaker 2: We started early and we're supposed to just have an
- 20:10Speaker 2: early dinner. But at Bar Chinchilla. This is where she
- 20:13Speaker 2: got me because I love the bar and we're talking
- 20:15Speaker 2: to the bartender and we're like, you know, kind of buzzing.
- 20:18Speaker 2: She's like, well, let's try this, and let's try this,
- 20:20Speaker 2: and let's try this. So I've gotten to like a
- 20:22Speaker 2: little bit of a Surrah I've gotten a cabernet. I've
- 20:24Speaker 2: gotten the other kinds of reds that.
- 20:26Speaker 3: You could have.
- 20:27Speaker 1: God.
- 20:27Speaker 2: And so after we sample probably eight different wines, we
- 20:31Speaker 2: then decide on the one that we finally want to get.
- 20:33Speaker 2: So then we have a full new glass of wine.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Oh God.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Problem. The bartender was so cool. We learned her whole
- 20:38Speaker 2: life story, we shared ours. We learned that the bartender's
- 20:41Speaker 2: wife works at the bar that I've been trying to get.
- 20:45Speaker 3: To for months.
- 20:46Speaker 2: What bar La Plumama around.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Whi's been hard to get? Is that hard to get into?
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's not, as I've learned, as hard as I thought
- 20:53Speaker 2: it was.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I think you just need a reservation.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yes, And every time I want to make a reservation,
- 20:58Speaker 2: it was always booked at least for the times that
- 20:59Speaker 2: we had, Like I was gonna go there on our
- 21:01Speaker 2: first date, originally it was booked up.
- 21:03Speaker 3: That's what we ended up at Savi on.
- 21:05Speaker 2: So as soon as she tells us that again we're tipsy.
- 21:10Speaker 1: You guys are hammered.
- 21:11Speaker 2: At this point, I commit though, and I'm like, we
- 21:13Speaker 2: gotta go see your wife at La Pluma.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Huh.
- 21:16Speaker 2: So we pay our tab and as soon as we
- 21:19Speaker 2: start walking, if you could have heard the conversation that
- 21:21Speaker 2: we were having one, you wouldn't have been able to
- 21:24Speaker 2: understand a single lick of it, because it was literally
- 21:26Speaker 2: us going back and forth. And at one point we
- 21:31Speaker 2: literally look at each other. We're like, we should probably
- 21:33Speaker 2: go home, and my dumb buzzed probably drunk at this point,
- 21:37Speaker 2: thought goes, but we're so committed and We're already walking
- 21:41Speaker 2: in that direction, and I've never gone to this bar.
- 21:44Speaker 3: And I want to show you stupid. Should have waited.
- 21:47Speaker 2: We get to La Pluma, it's like it closes at midnight,
- 21:51Speaker 2: it's eleven fifty, and we sit down at the bar.
- 21:55Speaker 2: The bartender literally rolls his eyes. He's like, what are
- 21:58Speaker 2: you guys doing here? My girl friends drunk? I'm pretty
- 22:01Speaker 2: much right there. But even in that I couldn't pick
- 22:04Speaker 2: the right decision. So I ordered two drinks. Oh no,
- 22:06Speaker 2: because I thought she was gonna want one. I realized
- 22:08Speaker 2: quickly she can't have one. Yeah, I need to take
- 22:11Speaker 2: down both of these. Instead of just realizing my mistake,
- 22:14Speaker 2: Oh no, I've just you know what, I spent the money,
- 22:17Speaker 2: Just say goodbye to the drink, it'd be done. Yeah, Nope,
- 22:19Speaker 2: I sat there. I tried to drink both. We both
- 22:23Speaker 2: start falling asleep on the louch chair. Stop and to
- 22:27Speaker 2: a point where like all I remember is like her
- 22:29Speaker 2: wife finally came up, the one that we went there
- 22:31Speaker 2: to go finally meet. She's like, oh my god, hi,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I heard about you all.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And we like, oh up.
- 22:38Speaker 2: We're like, oh my god, it's so nice to meet you.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And in that moment I look over, I'm like, oh
- 22:42Speaker 2: my god, my girlfriend's about to fall asleep. All right,
- 22:44Speaker 2: we gotta go. We gotta go right now. So sorry, goodbye.
- 22:48Speaker 2: The bars closed. I go to yank on the door.
- 22:51Speaker 2: This is the partend I must have been so annoyed.
- 22:53Speaker 3: It's a push door. I pull on it for like
- 22:55Speaker 3: two minutes.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like literally pulling on the key.
- 23:01Speaker 3: We're in trouble.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I'm like turning the key and the bartender goes it's
- 23:05Speaker 2: a push. Oh God, finally getting our uber. I'm so
- 23:10Speaker 2: I will give ourselves credit, mainly me. I'm pretty damn
- 23:14Speaker 2: good about getting ourselves home. Yeah, yeah, so we got
- 23:16Speaker 2: the uber home.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's an underrated skill, was knowing when you gotta go.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Oh, I'm determined, like I will do anything to make
- 23:23Speaker 2: sure that I keep us safe. So we get in
- 23:25Speaker 2: the uber, we make our way home. I honestly and
- 23:28Speaker 2: if I could go back to scott in that realm,
- 23:31Speaker 2: I felt fine. Yeah, I felt like, all right, I
- 23:33Speaker 2: got this covered, I'm gonna take care of her.
- 23:35Speaker 3: We're gonna be a okay.
- 23:36Speaker 2: But when we got back to the house, I like
- 23:38Speaker 2: put my girlfriend to bed, and then all of a sudden,
- 23:40Speaker 2: it hits me like a freight trade boom. I'm like,
- 23:43Speaker 2: oh my god, I am way overboard. Oh no, And
- 23:48Speaker 2: so I'm like I can't even I can't even sit down.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I literally sit next to the toilet and.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Just that kao kaod red wine.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I'm telling you, it knocked my ass out, and I
- 23:59Speaker 2: felt so dumb. Right, well, I just haven't gotten like
- 24:03Speaker 2: that in so long.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, And we beat ourselves up for doing that. We're like,
- 24:06Speaker 1: oh my god, what am I nineteen? But sometimes you
- 24:09Speaker 1: just get carried away and you don't know until it's
- 24:11Speaker 1: too late.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think it was a moment for our
- 24:15Speaker 2: relationship because like, well one like my girlfriend was asleep,
- 24:19Speaker 2: she didn't see any of this. Yeah, But as I
- 24:20Speaker 2: sat there, I was like, this is so embarrassing.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It's embrassing. See if she did it, it's kind of cute.
- 24:24Speaker 1: If you do it, then it's like, what are you doing?
- 24:26Speaker 3: That's exactly what I'm saying.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh she had too much Scott's. Scott's like keeled over
- 24:31Speaker 1: in the fetal position and we're like, oh god.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I'm like and so I literally I sleep on the
- 24:35Speaker 2: floor next to the bed, next to a trash can.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Oh no, just in case.
- 24:39Speaker 2: And it's so funny because the next day I had
- 24:40Speaker 2: to go work for a Fourth of July event, and
- 24:43Speaker 2: I guess I was still sleeping on the floor. But
- 24:44Speaker 2: my girlfriend woke up and she, like I think, had
- 24:46Speaker 2: a little bit of like a panics, like where the
- 24:48Speaker 2: hell is he?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Looking around, looking around, and then looked down and there
- 24:52Speaker 3: I am, curled up on the floor with the little blanket.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Over me, with your past fire in your mouth.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Literally sitting there. I was amazed.
- 24:57Speaker 2: And this is where I don't know, like by the
- 24:59Speaker 2: great so the goodness above, I felt fine. I literally
- 25:03Speaker 2: woke up, and I think it's because I'm.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Telling you, sometimes the throw up makes you feel better.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I'm actually really happy I did because I was like, wow,
- 25:11Speaker 2: if I just I don't know, that's the body telling
- 25:13Speaker 2: you to get.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Out because it's out of your system.
- 25:16Speaker 3: But it really was.
- 25:17Speaker 2: It was those last two drinks at the end of
- 25:18Speaker 2: the night that I just decided to down that I
- 25:20Speaker 2: was like, oh, I can handle this mistake. I couldn't
- 25:23Speaker 2: just let the money go. I had to make sure
- 25:25Speaker 2: I got my money's worth. And that was a mistake.
- 25:27Speaker 2: So the first time at the bar that I truly
- 25:29Speaker 2: wanted to go to, not the experience.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Do you remember the two cocktails you got?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, like some kind of oh, there were some kind
- 25:36Speaker 3: of gin drinks. There were some.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Jube pivoted from wine to gin.
- 25:40Speaker 3: It sounded good.
- 25:41Speaker 2: All I remember is that we were in a time
- 25:43Speaker 2: crunch because the bar was about to close, and I
- 25:45Speaker 2: looked at the menu and they were so expensive. I
- 25:47Speaker 2: think I s paid like thirty bucks for each drink
- 25:50Speaker 2: for each I think, so sometimes you just.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Gotta like waste the money after, like if you realized
- 25:55Speaker 1: you made the mistake, like it's not worth drinking it.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Oh I should have said goodbye, Yeah, I should have.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I've literally ordered the drinks, realized after one sip this
- 26:02Speaker 2: was a mistake.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And the left get it to go cup.
- 26:04Speaker 2: That'd been sweet, but it would have ended up in
- 26:07Speaker 2: the same result, So I'm not I after we had
- 26:10Speaker 2: a conversation in the morning, I wasn't as shameful as
- 26:13Speaker 2: they I had the night before. Yeah, I was like, okay, cool,
- 26:17Speaker 2: you know what, We're good. It's not a nick all
- 26:19Speaker 2: good and you didn't see it or hear it.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So when thank you, props to you and the biggest
- 26:26Speaker 1: win of all of your girlfriend didn't see you for
- 26:28Speaker 1: a whip.
- 26:28Speaker 3: That's a big thing.
- 26:29Speaker 1: She's a big thing.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I just got to tell her. The more I say,
- 26:31Speaker 3: I flew up.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, you can't kiss her for another twenty four hours.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You got a mouth wash you gotta go through like
- 26:36Speaker 1: scrubbing bubbles.
- 26:38Speaker 2: It's always like that word's I don't know, Like I
- 26:41Speaker 2: have friends that could go hard all the time. That
- 26:43Speaker 2: ain't me, Like I don't can't help people do.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Like when people got hammered the night before my brother's wedding,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm like, how are you guys gonna function tomorrow when
- 26:50Speaker 1: we all have photos and we have to dance and
- 26:52Speaker 1: when we also two am because it's the wedding day.
- 26:55Speaker 3: And I'm sure they did.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I'm sure like a lot of people are like back
- 26:59Speaker 2: to and I look at that, I'm like, damn, I.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Got like one good day in me, maybe maybe two.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I think that's my I have two or three days
- 27:10Speaker 2: a year.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Where I could go hard.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Yeah, And usually they happen on like cruises, Because cruises,
- 27:15Speaker 2: I just feel like I'm just like free, you know,
- 27:18Speaker 2: like nothing really matters. Days don't exist, you don't have
- 27:20Speaker 2: ubers you have to worry about. You just stumble back
- 27:22Speaker 2: to your room, you sit by the pool, and you
- 27:24Speaker 2: sip tequila all day.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Like that's the kind of cruise that.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Go on for me.
- 27:27Speaker 1: They kind of sneak up on me, like I don't
- 27:29Speaker 1: ever expect to get drunk, and then all of a
- 27:30Speaker 1: sudden it's like do do do We're at like our
- 27:33Speaker 1: tenth bar. I'm like, where are we? Where am I?
- 27:35Speaker 3: That's how it was. It snuck up on me.
- 27:38Speaker 2: We're just one to the next, to the next, to
- 27:40Speaker 2: the next, and that's when that's when they gets you.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But that means your body's working, because if it kept
- 27:45Speaker 1: the alcohol in, what would be good about that? Nothing?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Nothing?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Now I feel like Dodo in the morning, you would.
- 27:51Speaker 2: So there's my I think, what are we in July?
- 27:53Speaker 2: There's my first of the year. Oh that's your first,
- 27:57Speaker 2: I think first, like all in kind of night. Okay,
- 28:01Speaker 2: I think I got.
- 28:01Speaker 3: One more in me Before twenty twenty.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Seven, I've had two. One was by accident, one was
- 28:06Speaker 1: my fault. And I'm sure there will be one more.
- 28:08Speaker 2: There you go, solid three.
- 28:10Speaker 1: There will probably actually, you know what, I probably have
- 28:11Speaker 1: one a quarter. Actually, no, I probably have one maybe
- 28:15Speaker 1: two more.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Okay, that's not bad.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's because red wine always gets me, so I
- 28:19Speaker 1: have to save one for the winter.
- 28:21Speaker 3: You know what it is is? Actually I think it
- 28:23Speaker 3: is the red wine.
- 28:23Speaker 1: It's totally the red wine. Because there have been nights
- 28:26Speaker 1: where I've had like a very normal amount of red wine,
- 28:28Speaker 1: like maybe three or four glasses, and that's always the
- 28:31Speaker 1: thing that makes me throw up.
- 28:32Speaker 3: That makes me so sad.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And that's sad.
- 28:34Speaker 2: It really, Like I've heard so many people say as
- 28:36Speaker 2: they've gotten older, they can't drink what red wine anymore?
- 28:39Speaker 1: It's tou acidic.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yeah, And I was like, oh can't. I think I'm there.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I think we are.
- 28:45Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Fuck rolled Rold And I thought you were supposed to
- 28:49Speaker 1: enjoy red wine. I thought that was an old person
- 28:51Speaker 1: drink like whiskey, I know.
- 28:52Speaker 3: But apparently not like I could do white.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Like even the other day when we went out and
- 28:56Speaker 2: we were gonna get like we got pizza and like
- 28:58Speaker 2: maybe like a little glass of wine, I literally said
- 29:01Speaker 2: no to it. I was like, I cannot do red wine.
- 29:03Speaker 2: And I was like the first time ever, I was like,
- 29:05Speaker 2: I'm not I don't want the taste of it. That
- 29:06Speaker 2: like grosses me out. That's crazy, I guess that really is.
- 29:10Speaker 1: But a good red wine, like you feel, having a
- 29:12Speaker 1: good red wine makes me feel like I'm at the
- 29:15Speaker 1: last supper. Yes, I feel like I should be at
- 29:17Speaker 1: like a long table. We all have goblets. I want
- 29:20Speaker 1: it out of a goblet. Someone's got a drumstick. Jesus
- 29:25Speaker 1: is looking us all down.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Amen.
- 29:27Speaker 1: One of us will betray me, of course, and it's
- 29:29Speaker 1: gonna be the red wine.
- 29:30Speaker 3: It has to be.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's always the red wine.
- 29:32Speaker 3: God.
- 29:32Speaker 2: That is so crazy, And I'm sure there's so many
- 29:34Speaker 2: of you listening that are like, yep, you remember the moment,
- 29:37Speaker 2: all of a sudden you realize that you're not that
- 29:39Speaker 2: same twenty twenty two year old that you once were.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I realized that, and the last thing I realized over
- 29:44Speaker 2: the weekend because then on Saturday I realized that I'm
- 29:47Speaker 2: becoming the grumpy man that doesn't like fireworks.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Oh I hate fireworks.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I can't stand him anymore. And here's where my caveat is.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Because I was telling my best friend about this. I
- 29:54Speaker 2: think I could still do a professional fireworks show that
- 29:57Speaker 2: I don't mind, But damn do I get when they're
- 30:00Speaker 2: still shooting them off at like eleven or twelve at night.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Well, you know what, the only place that I think
- 30:04Speaker 1: fireworks are acceptable is theme parks.
- 30:07Speaker 3: They nail. Have you been to the Epcot Fireworks Show?
- 30:09Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's so sad.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, but I kind of love it. I
- 30:13Speaker 3: think I love those things.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It's beautiful. But like I remember when we were there
- 30:15Speaker 1: for Birt's Big Adventure and I was watching I think
- 30:18Speaker 1: it's called Illuminations or something. I'm sitting there slobbing. I'm like,
- 30:21Speaker 1: why these fireworks making me cry? It's because they're really
- 30:23Speaker 1: good at storytelling.
- 30:24Speaker 3: They're so good.
- 30:25Speaker 1: They're so good. But I think at theme parks that
- 30:27Speaker 1: makes sense because it like ends the day and boma,
- 30:30Speaker 1: and you kind of know if you're at a hotel there,
- 30:32Speaker 1: there's gonna be fireworks, so you're expecting it, and they
- 30:35Speaker 1: cut it off, and they cut it off at a
- 30:36Speaker 1: certain time it's done. I feel like in a neighborhood,
- 30:39Speaker 1: it just sounds like you don't know, is it gunshots
- 30:41Speaker 1: or fireworks?
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yep, your boy lives in like South Saint Pete and
- 30:45Speaker 2: sometimes there's actual gunshots.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:47Speaker 2: So as I laid there, I think it was even
- 30:50Speaker 2: Sunday night. There's a whole day after the fourth of July.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Oh, and that's the other thing. You got to pick
- 30:54Speaker 1: one day. It can't be July third, and it can't
- 30:56Speaker 1: be July fifth. We've all decided July fourth is the
- 30:59Speaker 1: day that we all know it's not gunshots, so just
- 31:01Speaker 1: stick to that day.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Oh gosh, And I wish there's something I could do.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I've almost in the past gotten out of my house
- 31:07Speaker 2: and went to search for a neighbor just to tell
- 31:09Speaker 2: them to shut it up.
- 31:11Speaker 3: I'm glad I didn't, because I probably always complained.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I don't even know if the cops would have even
- 31:16Speaker 2: cared about that phone call, because it's literally in our
- 31:19Speaker 2: neighborhood Sunday night and it's I don't know, eleven, and.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I'm like, gosh, and.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It freaks my cats out, freaks dogs out. I can
- 31:30Speaker 1: tell my cats are a little like uneasy because they
- 31:32Speaker 1: weren't thrilled to see me when I got back home,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and they've been sleep They never sleep with me. My
- 31:36Speaker 1: cat del has been sleeping next to me the whole night,
- 31:38Speaker 1: I know. And then there was a lightning storm not
- 31:40Speaker 1: last the night before, and she was like all freaked out,
- 31:43Speaker 1: and I was like, you, guys.
- 31:45Speaker 2: That sucks because now they're like anxious and you can
- 31:47Speaker 2: just tell they're upset.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Willy upset.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I was thinking about my dog and I was like,
- 31:52Speaker 2: damn it, I feel bad. And I don't even live
- 31:54Speaker 2: with my dog.
- 31:55Speaker 1: You don't even have a dog anymore.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I don't even know if that's my when's the last
- 31:58Speaker 2: time you saw Cocoa.
- 31:59Speaker 3: It's been weeks.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I've been busy and be dead.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I don't even show up dead. Be dead, walk the dog,
- 32:07Speaker 3: help with the dog. I know it's right.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Are you watching Coco while your ex is on vacation?
- 32:12Speaker 2: No, somebody else's Oh, I have other things. I'm busy
- 32:17Speaker 2: and I live further away.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Now, that's true. Having a dog is a big responsibility.
- 32:21Speaker 2: It's a huge one, and so it's like I help
- 32:23Speaker 2: when I can, but I think it's more just it's
- 32:25Speaker 2: becoming more and more time in between as I've been
- 32:28Speaker 2: so busy, and I do feel bad because you know
- 32:30Speaker 2: what makes me really feel bad, it's thinking that the
- 32:32Speaker 2: dog cares, and I think the dog does totally cares.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And you want to know why, I know you don't
- 32:36Speaker 1: care about the dog anymore. You're calling it the dog
- 32:39Speaker 1: instead of Coco.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Coco is the dog.
- 32:43Speaker 2: It was a dog that I got in my past relationship.
- 32:45Speaker 3: We got it together.
- 32:46Speaker 2: I don't have custody over to the dog anymore. Damn,
- 32:48Speaker 2: I am saying the dog over Cocoa anymore. I love Coco,
- 32:52Speaker 2: but I.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Think what it is love the dog.
- 32:54Speaker 2: I'm trying to mentally like separate a little bit from
- 32:58Speaker 2: that because it is hard. It's hard to be like, man,
- 33:01Speaker 2: Coco is not my dog anymore. Coco is a dog
- 33:04Speaker 2: that I could still see be a part of. But
- 33:08Speaker 2: I do think and I get I feel guilty. What
- 33:11Speaker 2: if Coco's sad that I'm not there, or if I
- 33:13Speaker 2: can't say that sucks Coco. I think Coco will be okay, though, Yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 2: Coco will survive. Coco will survive and I do think
- 33:19Speaker 2: eventually I'm going to get another dog.
- 33:21Speaker 3: So how's that going to look in a year?
- 33:24Speaker 1: It's pre fucked up. You've already moved on from Coco.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Well no, but eventually I will get a dog. And
- 33:31Speaker 2: how's Coco going to react?
- 33:32Speaker 3: Not good?
- 33:33Speaker 1: Coco is not gonna know because you're not gonna see Coco.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Well okay, well that let's go ahead.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And before we go, if you happen to be in
- 33:42Speaker 2: the Tampa Bay area, I know a lot of the
- 33:44Speaker 2: fam is up in the Georgia area.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Appreciate y'all.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Or if you want to make your way down, Abby
- 33:48Speaker 2: and I are doing a live show for you if
- 33:51Speaker 2: you are in the area.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, don't come down for it though.
- 33:55Speaker 2: No, I mean there will be other opportunities for it.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah, this is like a casual show.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yes, this is what's cool. And we could talk about
- 34:01Speaker 2: this on the podcast. Is this is the first like
- 34:03Speaker 2: seed of like ooh live shows. Audience get to be
- 34:07Speaker 2: a part of the show. Yeah, and then it will grow,
- 34:10Speaker 2: And as it grows, then it's gonna be something worthy
- 34:14Speaker 2: of traveling too.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Down the line, You're gonna be like a like a
- 34:18Speaker 1: like a circus.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yes, I've always envisioned popping around the city and just
- 34:24Speaker 2: hitting different spots.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I don't think enough people care about us, you know what.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I think we have like five people that care about us.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Six it's my mom, your dad, but he's in Barrow.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah and yeah, no, I have I have friends that
- 34:37Speaker 2: tell me they don't even listen to me.
- 34:38Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I know, it's like all my mom's friends, damn it.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yeah no, my dad doesn't even listen to me. Wow,
- 34:47Speaker 2: all right, never mind. Well, eventually, if somebody eventually cares
- 34:51Speaker 2: about us, we could throw a Scotty and Abbey live.
- 34:52Speaker 2: But if you are in the area that is up
- 34:54Speaker 2: on the website Mymagic ninety four to nine dot com.
- 34:57Speaker 3: We will be back again tomorrow
