  Speaker 1: And Jesus said, yeah, whose image is on that coin?

  Speaker 1: Whose image is on the money? Right, that's the question

  Speaker 1: Jesus asked, and they said Caesar's. Caesar's image is on there.

  Speaker 1: The government's image is on this money. So Jesus said,

  Speaker 1: give to Caesar, right, what belongs to Caesar. In other words,

  Speaker 1: pay taxes right, today's tax day, I think, right, if

  Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken, pay your taxes. And those are the
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: things that Caesar's gets, like Caesar gets the government gets.

  Speaker 1: But to God, pay to God what God owns. Amen.

  Speaker 1: In other words, Jesus is saying, listen, I'm above all

  Speaker 1: of that. That's why they still marveling and greatly amazed

  Speaker 1: They probably thought, Jesus say, you know what, don't pay

  Speaker 1: in the scriptures, don't look for it. The follow up

  Speaker 1: questions about the image of whose images on the currency?

  Speaker 1: The follow up question that Jesus, this man said, would

  Speaker 1: have been, whose image is on you? Man? Whose image

  Speaker 1: is on you? So they were looking for a way out,

  Speaker 1: I guess to not pay the taxes. You know. I

  Speaker 1: no taxes either. But Jesus said, Noga had whose images

  Speaker 1: the time, he was the king of Rome, the ruler

  Speaker 1: right the government. And Jesus said, we'll pay the Caesar

  Speaker 1: what belongs to Caesar. And then that's why the preacher said,

  Speaker 1: Christianity could not pay the debt that Jesus paid. Jesus

  Speaker 1: is the king of kings, Lord of lords, He's above all. Amen.

  Speaker 1: call planet Earth in the form of a man. Amazing.

  Speaker 1: So this is Holy Tuesday. Jesus teaches an a temple.

  Speaker 1: Jesus also debates we're religious leaders, religious teachers right. He

  Speaker 1: warned us about the things that were going to happen,

  Speaker 1: things to come, and Jesus debated against the religious leaders

  Speaker 1: of his time. Amen. He did these things not to

  Speaker 1: you know, out of machismo or say I'm the man

  Speaker 1: or whatever. He did these things to try and help

  Speaker 1: these people out of their error, help them out of

  Speaker 1: their tradition, help them kind of like get out of

  Speaker 1: the Moses idea, which Moses was respected man of God,

  Speaker 1: right used by God to you know, God, use them

  Speaker 1: to bring the Law to the Israelites, but to get

  Speaker 1: out of that Moses mindset and get into the Messiah's mindset.

  Speaker 1: studying the Law, Amen, and studying the prophets, it was

  Speaker 1: the soul over. They were stuck in tradition, they were

  Speaker 1: stuck in religion. And Jesus said, no, it's not about religion,

  Speaker 1: feeling pain in your body, when you're going through financial issues,

  Speaker 1: relational issues. God is with us, He's with you, He's
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: with me. And God says in his word very clearly,
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: it turns things out for the good a man, for
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: those who are lovers of him, like we love him
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: and we're called to his purpose. It works all things out,
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: all things, not just good things. But when we go
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: through bad situations, and I always say that every day
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: is not going to be a good day, and people say, oh,
• 16:49
  Speaker 1: that's not hopeful. No, it's not hopeful. It's truthful, man,
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: And we have hope in Christ during the bad times.

  Speaker 1: But listen, we don't stay thinking about, oh, when's going
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: to be the bad time. We stay thinking about how
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: God's going to get us to the next level, how
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: God is going to be with us, how God is

  Speaker 1: going to teach us and show us everything that we
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: need to do during those times. Amen. Okay, freelancer, you

  Speaker 1: be happening. Our silence might side with the sin of

  Speaker 1: whatever is going wrong. Your silence could side with sin

  Speaker 1: if you don't speak up. Amen. And not only that,

  Speaker 1: let the Lord speak through you. Amen. It's not only

  Speaker 1: we don't have to make things up. We don't have

  Speaker 1: to fit in. We don't have to always have the
• 18:00
  Speaker 1: right words to say, always have the right scriptures, and nothing.

  Speaker 1: Let God speak through you. I rely on God every

  Speaker 1: I don't have theology degree, I'm not the smartest person

  Speaker 1: in the room or none of that. I just rely

  Speaker 1: on Holy Spirit. You woke me up, you ask me

  Speaker 1: to be a part of what you're doing in these

  Speaker 1: morning DeVos. I'm just showing up and being available. Amen.

  Speaker 1: What about you just show up? Sometimes all you got

  Speaker 1: to do is show up and God does what he

  Speaker 1: does through you. And that's the amazing part. God works

  Speaker 1: through us a man to get to another person, to

  Speaker 1: reach another soul with his gospel message, with his truth,

  Speaker 1: with his grace, with his mercy, with his word. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And we just follow the leader. We are taught by

  Speaker 1: the teacher in the temple. Amen. We have Holy Spirit now.

  Speaker 1: But back then they had Jesus living among the people, Jesus,

  Speaker 1: the living Word of God, living and breathing and walking

  Speaker 1: among the people. They saw signs, they saw miracles, they

  Speaker 1: saw wonders, right in real time, a man all the

  Speaker 1: way to the point that Jesus gets on the cross

  Speaker 1: for our sins, because there was no one on the

  Speaker 1: whole planet that could afford to pay the sind det,

  Speaker 1: no one that was qualified to pay the sin det

  Speaker 1: other than Jesus himself, God in the form of a

  Speaker 1: man himself. And he did it because he loves He

  Speaker 1: is love, and he loved us so much, and God

  Speaker 1: so loved the world that he was sent not to

  Speaker 1: condemn the world John chapter three, but to save the world. Right,

  Speaker 1: He's the redeemer. He's the one who saw the fall

  Speaker 1: of man. He was there in the book of Genesis.

  Speaker 1: He saw the fall of man, and he knew because

  Speaker 1: men fell, that created a need for redemption a redeemer,

  Speaker 1: and that redeemer lives in his name is the Lord Jesus.

  Speaker 1: Like everything goes back to the Lord. A man from

  Speaker 1: Genesis to revelation, everything points back to the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: or no one could escape the fact that he's the

  Speaker 1: name above all names. He is still in the conversation

  Speaker 1: thousands of years later, almost two thousand years I believe me,

  Speaker 1: if my math is correct, in twenty thirty three, it'll

  Speaker 1: be two thousand years that Jesus died on the cross

  Speaker 1: and rose from the grave. I know we always hear

  Speaker 1: you think about it, if he was thirty three years old,

  Speaker 1: and there's enough evidence for us to believe and trust

  Speaker 1: that this happened. This event happened. Jesus teaches an exemple.

  Speaker 1: He reveals his authority confronts false religion with truth. Amen.

  Speaker 1: got you, I got you with the truth. That truth

  Speaker 1: these platforms and be like, yo, you're wrong, You're a sinner,

  Speaker 1: You're all gonna go to Hell. I'm not that type

  Speaker 1: of person. I know people who do that, and they're

  Speaker 1: anointed to do that, and their ministry is based on

  Speaker 1: if you don't believe in the way of the Righteous,

  Speaker 1: or we don't believe in the Lord, you're gonna be

  Speaker 1: damned to a place called Hell for all eternity. And

  Speaker 1: they build relationships like that. It's more like debating, and

  Speaker 1: people have those ministries. That's not my ministry. I dove

  Speaker 1: into debating early on in my walk, and I realized

  Speaker 1: that it wasn't as it wasn't what I was thinking

  Speaker 1: a man. I thought, if I want an argument, I

  Speaker 1: will win a soul. But I realized, if I want

  Speaker 1: an argument, it's not to win a soul. It was

  Speaker 1: to prove somebody else wrong. But what about the soul.

  Speaker 1: The souls probably still be angry unsaved. They lose, and

  Speaker 1: then they're gonna want to feel up. Sometimes it brought

  Speaker 1: people to realize that there is a God sometimes, right,

  Speaker 1: wasn't for no reason. I was just learning from people.

  Speaker 1: before I start debating their belief. They have a reason

  Speaker 1: for not believing in Jesus. We might not agree with

  Speaker 1: why people don't believe, but they have a reason, just

  Speaker 1: like we have reasons plural to believe in the Living Lord. Amen,

  Speaker 1: people have their reasons why they don't believe that Jesus

  Speaker 1: is God. Just listen, because when you listen to somebody's

  Speaker 1: story and when you respond with truth, make sure you

  Speaker 1: respond with truth and love. Jesus teaches in the temple,

  Speaker 1: people are listening, people were watching him. Amen. There was

  Speaker 1: no conspiracy about Jesus being a sinner, right, even though

  Speaker 1: he was falsely accused of being the lead demon, that

  Speaker 1: he was doing things through demons. He was accused of

  Speaker 1: blasphemy and all that stuff. If you read the scriptures,

  Speaker 1: you don't find no gossip about Jesus being with a

  Speaker 1: woman or you know, smoking or drinking or getting drunk,

  Speaker 1: or being in the streets acting crazy. And you don't

  Speaker 1: see that in the scriptures nowhere. Amen. So that's an

  Speaker 1: argument that people can bring up because they never saw

  Speaker 1: it in the scriptures. And if they're honest, they have

  Speaker 1: to believe or they have to see what's in the

  Speaker 1: scriptures to it. If they want to debate the scriptures,

  Speaker 1: why don't they look at what's already there. And man,

  Speaker 1: stopped trying to make stuff up about the Lord. But

  Speaker 1: that's what we have. Man, we have Jesus teaching in

  Speaker 1: the temple. Now he did that in a physical form

  Speaker 1: in the temple. I believe in the Spirit, the Spirit God,

  Speaker 1: to be our teacher, and he's still teaching in the temple,

  Speaker 1: people were like listening to what he was teaching. He

  Speaker 1: was in the synagogue dropping signs. Even when at twelve

  Speaker 1: years old, when Jesus was with his you know, parents,

  Speaker 1: and they must have not realized that he was gone,

  Speaker 1: and when they found him, they thought Jesus was lost.

  Speaker 1: When they found him, he was in the temple twelve

  Speaker 1: years old, pulling people away. The rabbis in that thing

  Speaker 1: were like, how does this kid know all this? How

  Speaker 1: is he so like knowledgeable of the scriptures? They wasn't

  Speaker 1: realizing that they were speaking or listening to the living
• 26:47
  Speaker 1: Word of God. He is the living Truth. He is

  Speaker 1: the Word at twelve years old, showing people like, Wow,
• 26:55
  Speaker 1: this young kid really knows his stuff. And man, he
• 26:59
  Speaker 1: knew his stuff because he is the Word. Amen. So listen,

  Speaker 1: I hope I sparked up something in your spirit to

  Speaker 1: go ahead and check out the teacher in the temple, Amen,

  Speaker 1: and realized that if you're born again, you have the

  Speaker 1: Teacher living inside of you and inside of me. And

  Speaker 1: we are the temple now, Amen. And he's still teaching,

  Speaker 1: he's still relevant, he's still real, and he still moves
• 27:23
  Speaker 1: in the hearts of men and women all around the world,
• 27:26
  Speaker 1: and he's teaching in the temple. So this is Holy Week,

  Speaker 1: this is Holy Tuesday, Tax Day of all days, right,

  Speaker 1: but we're going to keep it moving. Hopefully we could
