European Athletics Championships 2026 | Day One Podlet - Jakob Ingebrigtsen’s sensational comeback
Rich is joined by Commonwealth silver medallist Tom Bosworth and Activate the Burners creator Sikhalo to look back at day one of Birmingham 2026 - as Jakob Ingebrigtsen returned from missing almost an entire year of racing to win a fourth straight European 5000m title ahead of Florian Bremm and Etienne Daguinos.
We also look back at the women’s 100m, won by Amy Hunt - the mixed 4x400m (yes please to more Karsten Warholm in this), and the two shot put finals.
