Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
• 0:03
  Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: Hey everybody, it's a breaking news episode on the Almost
• 0:09
Speaker 2: Famous podcast. You know, we're on this podcast to talk
• 0:13
Speaker 2: about all the things happening within Bachelor Nation, but also
• 0:17
Speaker 2: surrounding Bachelor Nation. For the last year, we've talked about Taylor,
• 0:21
Speaker 2: Frankie Paul and her season that never aired of the Bachelorette.
• 0:27
Speaker 2: But breaking news has just been heard. I'm in studio,
• 0:32
Speaker 2: Ashley is in the car on her way to talk
• 0:36
Speaker 2: more about this, but we couldn't wait, and so we
• 0:38
Speaker 2: just gave Ashley a call. Hello, Ashley, Hi, Ben.
• 0:42
Speaker 3: So nothing is confirmed, but this is TMZ and TMZ
• 0:46
Speaker 3: has been really good with this story, and TMZ is
• 0:49
Speaker 3: really good at Hollywood breaking news.
• 0:52
Speaker 4: So we get a couple of tidbits in here.
• 0:55
Speaker 3: They say that when ABC pulled the quote plug from
• 0:59
Speaker 3: it in May. In March, we all kind of assumed, like,
• 1:02
Speaker 3: is this like, ay, we'll stop and think about it,
• 1:05
Speaker 3: or is this like, really, it's never going to see
• 1:08
Speaker 3: the light of day. Well, TMZ is reporting that they
• 1:12
Speaker 3: still have the editors continue to finish working on the episodes,
• 1:15
Speaker 3: because oftentimes not all the episodes are completed by the
• 1:20
Speaker 3: time it airs. I mean there is sometimes ten, ten
• 1:23
Speaker 3: to twelve episodes, and they continued to finish it out,
• 1:28
Speaker 3: which is a sign that they were keeping the door open.
• 1:32
Speaker 3: And the reason we've really got on here is that
• 1:36
Speaker 3: the rumor mill TMC is reporting it's a source inside
• 1:40
Speaker 3: production is saying that they're going to go with airing
• 1:42
Speaker 3: this season in July with and shocking to me, on ABC,
• 1:49
  Speaker 3: not on Hulu.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: The reason this holds some weight to me is I
• 1:55
Speaker 2: believe that Warner Brothers owns TMZ.
• 1:59
Speaker 4: Oh if that's a good point.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, Warner Brothers is also involved in the Bachelor franchise.
• 2:08
Speaker 2: I have a feeling Warner Brothers knows if the season's
• 2:12
Speaker 2: gonna air or not. But let's be honest, Ashley. We
• 2:15
Speaker 2: just had the Game of Roses on last week and
• 2:17
Speaker 2: we were kind of talking about if this was going
• 2:19
Speaker 2: to air on and I said, there's no doubt it airs.
• 2:22
Speaker 2: Everything has pointed to it airing, right. They're still bringing
• 2:25
Speaker 2: the cast out for baseball games. They're still pumping this
• 2:30
Speaker 2: cast out on their social media. They have never clearly said, hey,
• 2:35
Speaker 2: this isn't going to air, So we just got word. Sorry,
• 2:40
Speaker 2: I was wrong. It used to be owned by Warner,
• 2:42
Speaker 2: but teams he did sell the Fox. I still think
• 2:45
Speaker 2: it's I still think it's involved and would know in
• 2:48
Speaker 2: some way, so it doesn't take away that I hold
• 2:51
Speaker 2: him as a legitimate source. I'm not shocked, Ashley. I
• 2:55
Speaker 2: think we've just kind of followed the trail and the
• 2:59
Speaker 2: trail spoken to this happening, and now we're just getting
• 3:04
Speaker 2: the rumors still that it's going to happen. But if
• 3:08
Speaker 2: it happens, I'm gonna say, yeah, of course, they've done
• 3:10
Speaker 2: everything leading up to this to promote the season.
• 3:13
Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely. Taylor and Dakota have another court date set
• 3:17
Speaker 3: for July eighth. She does have unsupervised visitation or I
• 3:23
Speaker 3: guess like custody with her child now.
• 3:25
Speaker 2: I thought it was supervised.
• 3:26
Speaker 3: No, not anymore the last time it changed over. But
• 3:29
Speaker 3: it's still not a lot of time. So I'm thinking
• 3:32
Speaker 3: if they go back to more of an equal shared
• 3:35
Speaker 3: custody situation July eighth, it's going to be that week
• 3:39
Speaker 3: we'll get the announcement that it's going to start airing
• 3:42
Speaker 3: in July, and I'd say, yeah, oftmc's reporting mid July.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: There's a lot happening here. And obviously there was so
• 3:50
Speaker 2: much put behind this season for everybody involved, and so
• 3:55
Speaker 2: this season was kind of I felt like initially like
• 3:57
Speaker 2: holding on by a thread, and then we started to
• 4:01
Speaker 2: feel like, hey, this is going to come back. We
• 4:03
Speaker 2: don't know how Ashley, you know, we talked it was
• 4:05
Speaker 2: either going to be streaming. But I think one of
• 4:08
Speaker 2: the key elements here is this rumor from TMZ what
• 4:13
Speaker 2: they're reporting on is it's going to actually air on ABC.
• 4:16
Speaker 2: It's going to take a time slot on ABC. That
• 4:20
Speaker 2: out of all of this is something that is surprising
• 4:22
Speaker 2: to me that they would air back on ABC.
• 4:25
Speaker 4: Well, they know that there's no way that anything that
• 4:30
Speaker 4: they're going to air instead of Taylor for Rekie Paul
• 4:32
Speaker 4: season is going to do better than Taylor Forney Paul season.
• 4:36
Speaker 2: So it makes sense not only from a business side,
• 4:39
Speaker 2: but it also makes sense. As we said on what
• 4:41
Speaker 2: we were kind of following and hearing along, This isn't
• 4:44
Speaker 2: a shock to anybody here at the Almost Famous podcast,
• 4:47
Speaker 2: It's not. We were intrigued to see how it would
• 4:50
Speaker 2: happen and how the announcement would happen. We still don't
• 4:53
Speaker 2: have an official announcement. I want to be clear on
• 4:54
Speaker 2: that This is a report made by TMC. We don't
• 4:56
Speaker 2: have an official announcement yet, but if you listen this podcast,
• 5:00
Speaker 2: I would start updating your Google message or your Google
• 5:03
Speaker 2: alerts because we will have an announcement it sounds like
• 5:06
Speaker 2: very soon. Inclosing here, Taylor and Dakota both have restraining
• 5:12
Speaker 2: orders against one another and have been ordered by a
• 5:14
Speaker 2: Utah judge to try and hash out their custody dispute again.
• 5:20
Speaker 2: On July eighth is their next court hearing where we
• 5:24
Speaker 2: will learn more and we'll be here breaking it down.
• 5:27
Speaker 2: But I can't say it any better than how TMZ does.
• 5:30
Speaker 2: The bottom line is this, It sure looks like those
• 5:34
Speaker 2: roses are finally going to be handed out this summer
• 5:37
Speaker 2: by Taylor, Frankie Paul Hey. This is Almost Famous podcast,
• 5:41
Speaker 2: Ashley called in. Thanks to Ashley for doing that. We'll
