- 0:09Speaker 1: Yo, welcome to me naughty but nice show. I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rob Shooter, and it is Monday morning, which means idea
- 0:20Speaker 1: friend Garrett Vogel is joining us. Hey, Garrett are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Good morning Bobs.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Hello, my friend. You look dapper today, and I actually
- 0:27Speaker 1: have some clothes on because we're recording this episode.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Well, you know what, we might as well get on
- 0:33Speaker 2: the bandwagon. As they say, right, everybody's doing it. Everybody
- 0:36Speaker 2: wants to want to not just hear, they want to
- 0:39Speaker 2: see what we look like. And here we are.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I hope we don't disappoint. I hope we look okay.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I brushed my hair ever so quickly I put on
- 0:47Speaker 1: appoint a jump disappointed, very disappointed. You look great too.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So this is what we see each morning. We've been
- 0:53Speaker 1: doing the show now for four five years, just the audio,
- 0:56Speaker 1: but today is the first time we're going to do
- 0:58Speaker 1: some video, and Garrett's going to do whatever he needs
- 1:00Speaker 1: to do with this. I trust you totally, Garrett. I
- 1:02Speaker 1: do ask though, if ever I do scratch my nose
- 1:06Speaker 1: or maybe poke my eye, maybe that's not the scene
- 1:09Speaker 1: the clip to use.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Well, yes, so, because normally that's like a little you know,
- 1:13Speaker 2: that's you and I talking behind the scenes where you
- 1:16Speaker 2: scratch your eye. I'm like, oh, I know what Rob saying.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It's a cue, No exactly. We would be bad poker player.
- 1:22Speaker 1: We would be bad poker players. As you say as
- 1:24Speaker 1: you pull your ear, which means let's get on with
- 1:26Speaker 1: the show. Okay, what time is it, my friends? It
- 1:28Speaker 1: is indeed time. Okay, big story at the top of
- 1:31Speaker 1: the show. So I don't know if you saw this
- 1:33Speaker 1: over the weekend. It's on a little late for me.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I've got to be honest. I love Saturday Night Live,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but a Saturday night I'm either out or I'm in bed. However,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I do watch it the next day. I tape it.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Morgan Wallen, who is a huge, huge country star, kind
- 1:48Speaker 1: of controversial, has said stuff in the past that he regrets,
- 1:51Speaker 1: really ugly, ugly stuff. Well, he was on Saturday Night Live.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Now they go on and they always sing two songs,
- 1:57Speaker 1: Garrett two songs on the show. It was quite interesting
- 2:00Speaker 1: that his second song appeared to be a little moved up.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Normally it's the same slot in the show, but on
- 2:07Speaker 1: Saturday it seemed like a little bit of different timing. However,
- 2:10Speaker 1: that's not the controversy. The controversy is at the end
- 2:14Speaker 1: of the show when all the cast get on stage.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I love this moment to say goodbye and they hug
- 2:20Speaker 1: each other great. It's a really lovely moment. And the
- 2:23Speaker 1: credits take like a minute to roll, so it's a
- 2:25Speaker 1: little awkward they have to stand there, but it's sort
- 2:28Speaker 1: of like a curtain call and a music hall if
- 2:30Speaker 1: you can see a play and they come out and
- 2:31Speaker 1: take a bow. That's what it reminds me of. He
- 2:34Speaker 1: walked off, so he walked out of the shot, and
- 2:37Speaker 1: then he posted on social media that he was returning
- 2:41Speaker 1: to God's Country, implying that New York City Saturday Night Live,
- 2:46Speaker 1: NBC thirty Rock is not a place where God is now.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I hit the phones. It was like, what is going
- 2:52Speaker 1: on here? I was told the cast never really liked
- 2:56Speaker 1: him from the moment he turned up. He didn't really fit.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Often they asked the musical performer to be in one
- 3:04Speaker 1: of the sketches. He didn't really want to do that.
- 3:06Speaker 1: He's got history with SNL. He was meant to be
- 3:09Speaker 1: on SNL during the pandemic, but he got canceled because
- 3:12Speaker 1: he was caught at partying without her masks. They said, no,
- 3:15Speaker 1: he did go back, and so I think this was
- 3:18Speaker 1: just a bad fitch. You know what it's like when
- 3:21Speaker 1: you turn up in a place, a bar, you turn
- 3:24Speaker 1: up to meet some friends and you just don't fit
- 3:26Speaker 1: in it just vi vibe.
- 3:29Speaker 2: You know, it feels like a force friendship, you know
- 3:31Speaker 2: what I mean. Like Lauren Michaels knows what he's doing.
- 3:34Speaker 2: You know, Morgan Walla can sell out stadiums across the world.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So Lauren Michaels for him to go, how we can't
- 3:42Speaker 2: have him on the show. You know, it'd be hurting
- 3:44Speaker 2: the show. So he's looking for the He's being open
- 3:47Speaker 2: to everyone. But here here's the thing, and you know,
- 3:49Speaker 2: as being a former publicist, we're getting three two different stories.
- 3:54Speaker 2: So the publicist goes, well, you know Morgan exited and
- 3:58Speaker 2: entered that same way, and and it was like, okay,
- 4:01Speaker 2: maybe he messed up. But then Morgan goes on social
- 4:03Speaker 2: media not only ninety minutes after, which means he made
- 4:06Speaker 2: a bee line straight out of thirty rocks and I
- 4:08Speaker 2: are in New York City for him to get from
- 4:10Speaker 2: where he is to Titterborough. That he was going very fast,
- 4:14Speaker 2: very quickly, yet to get out of New York possible,
- 4:18Speaker 2: almost like a movie with a superhero movie trying to
- 4:23Speaker 2: escape in New York. Then then he posts that, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 2: back to God's Country. So did he met did he
- 4:31Speaker 2: not know where he was going and left the stage
- 4:34Speaker 2: early or did he not want to be there? Like,
- 4:36Speaker 2: don't give me.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Both right, right right? And let's remember everybody, he wasn't
- 4:41Speaker 1: rushing like you or I Garrett to jet Blue. We
- 4:44Speaker 1: were going to miss the flight. This is a private plane.
- 4:47Speaker 1: We'll wait, he decides. When this play takes off, it doesn't.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And the after parties, I know it didn't get it going.
- 4:54Speaker 1: On sometimes silly, and I think there's some politics involved,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and we don't do politics on this show, but I
- 4:59Speaker 1: think that might be a a little bit involved here.
- 5:01Speaker 1: They just didn't like each other, and I think the
- 5:03Speaker 1: cast members of SNL really upset about the N word
- 5:07Speaker 1: that he used. Then there's a lot of people of
- 5:09Speaker 1: color on that show that work behind the scenes. It
- 5:12Speaker 1: was frosty when he walked in. It was like when
- 5:14Speaker 1: Sarah Palin appeared once that was a little bit frosty.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Although I'm told she charmed them. She was funny and
- 5:21Speaker 1: sort of cute, and she went to the after parties
- 5:23Speaker 1: and she they yes, yes, right, And so it's quite difficult.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I've done this, and I'm ashamed to admit it. I've
- 5:30Speaker 1: met people and before I've met them, their reputation, their history,
- 5:35Speaker 1: their aura has walked in the room first, and I've
- 5:39Speaker 1: already pre judged them. I try not to do that,
- 5:42Speaker 1: particularly in the world that we're living in today, Garrett,
- 5:45Speaker 1: where it's so easy to hate somebody right away. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: try not to do it. And I find the people
- 5:51Speaker 1: that I might be the most judging about are the
- 5:54Speaker 1: ones that I end up having a great night with.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Right, And you know what the other thing I was
- 5:58Speaker 2: thinking about too, of why things just didn't probably click
- 6:02Speaker 2: for Morgan and the cast. The man has gotten several chances,
- 6:06Speaker 2: you know, like if you're you're lucky, maybe you get
- 6:08Speaker 2: a second chance. He's gotten like he's on his sixth
- 6:12Speaker 2: He's like a cat. He's like, you beyond nine lives
- 6:14Speaker 2: at this point.
- 6:15Speaker 1: He is. Anybody else would have been canceled. I know,
- 6:17Speaker 1: we hate that cancel culture. But there's gotta be some consequences,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I guess, but there isn't any here. It's really it
- 6:23Speaker 1: was a bad thing. But then I spoke to somebody
- 6:25Speaker 1: really seen here at SNL. And remember I was at
- 6:28Speaker 1: SNL with Ashley Simpson when she lip sinc. So I've
- 6:31Speaker 1: been at SNL when a melt down happens. So let
- 6:35Speaker 1: me tell you they both loved it. SNL is loving this.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They're not embarrassed. They love the attention. The lead story
- 6:44Speaker 1: on our show on a Monday is something that happened
- 6:46Speaker 1: on a Saturday night until the credits.
- 6:50Speaker 2: On the credits, not even the show.
- 6:52Speaker 1: This has legs. We're talking about it. SNL loves this attention.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Morgan loves it too. He's clearly not somebody that minds
- 6:59Speaker 1: a bit controversy because he's always in it. So I
- 7:02Speaker 1: think he posted that deliberately too. He could have just
- 7:05Speaker 1: slipped out, but no, he wanted a big exit the
- 7:08Speaker 1: social media post. You both win here because your fans,
- 7:12Speaker 1: Morgan's fans are gonna love what he did. SNL fans
- 7:15Speaker 1: are gonna love what they did, and so I think
- 7:18Speaker 1: it all sort of works out for everybody here, which
- 7:21Speaker 1: brings us to our pole question of the day. Morgan
- 7:25Speaker 1: Wallen left Saturn Date Night Live. Do you think all
- 7:31Speaker 1: this was premeditated? Do you think when he turned about
- 7:34Speaker 1: that studio that night, he was like, you know what,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a lot of press and I'm gonna
- 7:38Speaker 1: walk off at the end. Or do you think during
- 7:40Speaker 1: the show something was said. Some people were saying there
- 7:42Speaker 1: was a very very tough segment on Donald Trump during
- 7:47Speaker 1: the weekend countdown. What's that part the news post we
- 7:49Speaker 1: end up the weekend update? Maybe that might have set
- 7:53Speaker 1: him off a little bit. What do you think was
- 7:55Speaker 1: this pre planned or was this spur of the moment?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Take a vote on our Twitter page at Naordy niserb
- 8:00Speaker 1: Our facebook page is new to d and the sure
- 8:03Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey Garrett Love,
- 8:06Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Well? This is one of those like I told you
- 8:10Speaker 2: so moments where it feels like I told you so
- 8:12Speaker 2: a moments. So Sydney Sweeteney Glen Powell they are not
- 8:15Speaker 2: a couple, allegedly, despite all the wedding buzz rumors. So
- 8:20Speaker 2: they were actually hanging out in Dallas over the weekend
- 8:22Speaker 2: to Glenn Powell had a wedding and you know two
- 8:25Speaker 2: I guess single people you know as friends one you
- 8:29Speaker 2: know it's a rub. It's like me calling home, going, Hey,
- 8:32Speaker 2: I got no one to roll with to this wedding?
- 8:34Speaker 2: Would you like to come? H would you think would happen? Like?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Of course you.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Think we would make The rumors would be that we
- 8:40Speaker 1: were a couple. Everybody, the wedding would be like we.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Would be denying it on Monday morning as I walk
- 8:44Speaker 2: off the stage on SNL. But they attended Glenn's sisters,
- 8:48Speaker 2: and it was Glenn's sisters. It was a family as
- 8:52Speaker 2: his plus one. Being a plus one at a wedding
- 8:55Speaker 2: is something right there. It's not just for it's not
- 8:58Speaker 2: just anyone. And this was months ago, so yes, months ago.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Was she still engaged to her fiance? Yes, but was
- 9:08Speaker 2: it on the rocks? Probably ever since anyone but you
- 9:12Speaker 2: came out about two years ago. But you know, they're
- 9:15Speaker 2: great friends, that's what the source says. They've always had
- 9:18Speaker 2: fun energy. But there is no romance here. I call BSBSBS.
- 9:23Speaker 2: You're telling me a slow dance between those two at
- 9:26Speaker 2: the wedding, there was no type of chemistry. You're telling
- 9:29Speaker 2: me that they didn't steal the thunder from Glenn's sister
- 9:32Speaker 2: as they slow danced.
- 9:33Speaker 1: That's very good. That's a really really good question. I
- 9:35Speaker 1: was told they actually tried very hard not to do this.
- 9:38Speaker 1: When celebrities go to weddings, they have a choice to make.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I've known a few celebrities who have been to weddings,
- 9:44Speaker 1: not mine. I didn't invite any, but I do know
- 9:46Speaker 1: celebrities that go to weddings. They have a choice to make.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Do they want to be the center of attention which
- 9:51Speaker 1: they know how to do like this like turning on
- 9:53Speaker 1: a light switch, or is it.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Not their dame?
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think you have to go for the latter. A
- 9:58Speaker 1: lot of celebrities can't do that. They really like the spotlight.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Howard Stern gave some great advice once. Howard Stern said
- 10:05Speaker 1: that whenever anyone on his staff get married, they beg
- 10:09Speaker 1: him to come to the wedding, and he said, I
- 10:12Speaker 1: would give you an amazing wedding gift. I won't come
- 10:15Speaker 1: because if I come, the whole wedding's going to be
- 10:17Speaker 1: about me.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Your parents, does that?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Your relatives? Who does that? Sorry?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Tell her Swift does yes. So like when fans say, hey,
- 10:25Speaker 2: can you come to my wedding? Now? She has done
- 10:27Speaker 2: it on occasion where she'll pop up because she's having
- 10:29Speaker 2: dinner or a recording session right around the corner, and
- 10:32Speaker 2: she'll pop in and play a song. But for the
- 10:33Speaker 2: most part, she'll send a card and you know, congratulations Medda.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It's better the few famous people I know. I got
- 10:39Speaker 1: great wedding gifts from them, thank you very much, But
- 10:42Speaker 1: they didn't come to the wedding. Now, Garrett, you know
- 10:45Speaker 1: some famous people too. When you got married. Did you
- 10:48Speaker 1: have famous people there? Did you want people from your
- 10:50Speaker 1: job there? Did you want Elvis there? Did you want
- 10:52Speaker 1: them there?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Well, you wanted the people from the job there. I
- 10:55Speaker 2: mean there was one awkward moment where not even a
- 11:00Speaker 2: relative like a relative's uncle that you know, you get
- 11:04Speaker 2: really deep when you start inviting relatives uncles. Uh, he
- 11:07Speaker 2: wanted he wanted the Morning Show to sign a napkin.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Oh like at the like he was walking around with
- 11:14Speaker 2: a napkin to get like this. Yeah, I think this
- 11:19Speaker 2: guy it is sweet.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I recently went to a wedding of a friend of
- 11:22Speaker 1: mine who works at the Today Show. Rahoda and Savannah
- 11:25Speaker 1: and Matt Lower were there and the table that I
- 11:28Speaker 1: was sitting with they didn't sit at the same table, but.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I was.
- 11:32Speaker 1: With Matt's the table, so I sat at the Matt
- 11:34Speaker 1: lower table, and there was two really great, great guests
- 11:39Speaker 1: who were starstruck. They had grown up watching Matt Lauer
- 11:42Speaker 1: on NBC, and despite all the controversy and that that
- 11:45Speaker 1: certainly exists, they were a little bit starstruck. They were
- 11:48Speaker 1: not showbiz type people and they wanted a picture with
- 11:52Speaker 1: Matt and I knew they wanted it.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Did you get the picture?
- 11:55Speaker 1: I did it. I said, Matt, take a picture. And
- 11:58Speaker 1: it just made their nice And it was so simple.
- 12:00Speaker 1: But it wasn't like having somebody there to steal the moment.
- 12:03Speaker 1: That was quite reserved. And who did steal the moment?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Who was at this wedding? Amy, Roebeck and t J.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I see on that Dad's floor. I saw you would
- 12:13Speaker 1: not being subtle. You they liked the attention.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But back to Sydney and Clinton, by the way, I
- 12:19Speaker 2: don't feel like they were trying to steal the attention.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It just naturally goes just comes to them. You got
- 12:23Speaker 2: two hot people who are two megastores gets out there
- 12:26Speaker 2: who were probably just acting as normal as you and
- 12:28Speaker 2: I would on the dance floor. Just hang, I don't know.
- 12:30Speaker 1: How normal that would be, Garrett, you and me on
- 12:32Speaker 1: the dance floor could be quite spectacular.
- 12:34Speaker 2: We would leave separation for the Holy Spirit, as they
- 12:37Speaker 2: say in the school. But but Sidney, sweet, I think
- 12:41Speaker 2: they're so chill. But the problem is that they're so
- 12:43Speaker 2: chill that people are like, oh, this is normal. They're
- 12:46Speaker 2: they're like us.
- 12:47Speaker 1: My sources say they are not dating. They are.
- 12:49Speaker 2: No, I'm going to say otherwise. My sources, which is
- 12:52Speaker 2: me and my gun my gut, says yes.
- 12:54Speaker 1: No, they are not dated. Okay, moving along, we have
- 12:57Speaker 1: an exclusive. We know what did His defense is going
- 12:59Speaker 1: to be and you're not gonna like this. So he
- 13:01Speaker 1: is going to claim that the free COFs were consensual. Yes,
- 13:04Speaker 1: he's kinky, but that is not a crime. So the
- 13:07Speaker 1: high stakes trial it's going to begin really really soon,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and they're not shying away from the headlines about the
- 13:13Speaker 1: so called free coffs like often you would want to
- 13:16Speaker 1: be like, oh my goodness, let's bury that. I don't
- 13:18Speaker 1: want to talk about that. They're going to lean into
- 13:20Speaker 1: it and they're going to say, yes, he's kinky. He
- 13:22Speaker 1: likes kinky sex. He likes dominant submissive sex. That is
- 13:26Speaker 1: his things. He likes sex workers, he likes video and people.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But it's all consensual. I'm told too that they're going
- 13:33Speaker 1: to provide some receipts. There were several sex workers that
- 13:37Speaker 1: did he hired, who came back several different times. And
- 13:41Speaker 1: when you pay somebody for a service, even if the
- 13:44Speaker 1: service is illegal, there might be a document of that,
- 13:47Speaker 1: a credit card bill or money exchanged, and so they're
- 13:51Speaker 1: going to say that. The other thing too, that I
- 13:53Speaker 1: think so interesting is they're going to call a lot
- 13:55Speaker 1: of witnesses. Now, remember I worked with Diddy. I'm not
- 13:58Speaker 1: one of these witnesses. But see we're gonna claim and
- 14:02Speaker 1: I saw this, it was true. Whenever did he entered
- 14:05Speaker 1: a nightclub or a bar, people threw themselves at him sexually.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Of course, I was with Puff and we went into
- 14:11Speaker 1: a club, and the amount of people, boys and girls
- 14:14Speaker 1: who came over to the VIP area and wanted to
- 14:17Speaker 1: get behind that little velvet rope, we've all seen them,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and the bottles are on the table and you don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: pay for them. They would have done things that we
- 14:26Speaker 1: probably wouldn't have. And this is not just did I
- 14:29Speaker 1: worked with John bon Jovi. When I was with John,
- 14:32Speaker 1: people threw that he was a married man. He still is.
- 14:35Speaker 1: They threw themselves at John, that's gonna be their defense.
- 14:38Speaker 1: What do you think do you think it will work?
- 14:41Speaker 2: I mean, all it takes is one or two people
- 14:43Speaker 2: in the jury and and you know you got you
- 14:46Speaker 2: got the case in your favor. So it will be
- 14:48Speaker 2: interesting to go that or out now. But I feel
- 14:51Speaker 2: like changing changing the idea and the course of like, okay,
- 14:55Speaker 2: it was consensual now versus we know, don't do anything though.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Those oil bottles aren't for us, you know. It's just
- 15:01Speaker 2: like they're throwing so much out there. It's going to
- 15:04Speaker 2: be hard to determine what is real and what's not.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Mmmm. Yeah, that it's gonna be tricky. But as you say, Gret,
- 15:10Speaker 1: if they can convince one or two people. I know him,
- 15:13Speaker 1: he's really charming. He's going to turn up in that
- 15:15Speaker 1: courtroom and he's going to be puff the magic dragon.
- 15:18Speaker 1: He is going to be full died.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I mean I could tell you right before any of
- 15:23Speaker 2: this came about, and he was promoting that his latest
- 15:27Speaker 2: album that came out before all the controversy, and I
- 15:30Speaker 2: got to sit with him for a few minutes, and
- 15:33Speaker 2: you know, and I think it's one thing. He can
- 15:36Speaker 2: look you straight in the eye. You know what I mean.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And if you have anyone celebrity or a normal person
- 15:41Speaker 2: and you make that connection by looking someone straight in
- 15:43Speaker 2: the eye, you had that other person kind of locked
- 15:46Speaker 2: in and hooked. And he was doing it and he
- 15:48Speaker 2: was like, hey, you know, thanks for saying all that stuff,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and you know, I do appreciate that, and you know,
- 15:53Speaker 2: we worked hard on us.
- 15:55Speaker 1: That's the reason that he potentially got away with this
- 15:58Speaker 1: for so long. Okay, we're going to take quick and
- 16:00Speaker 1: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Naudy
- 16:04Speaker 1: but nic Sha, I'm you host Rob Shooter with her
- 16:05Speaker 1: dear friend Garrett Loogal. Hey, Garrett, let's get to the
- 16:07Speaker 1: polls that are die. The last share we talked about,
- 16:10Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson your favorite. You love Kelly Clarkson, She's your
- 16:13Speaker 1: favorite celebrity. Kelly Clarkson is telling her in a cirtle,
- 16:16Speaker 1: this is such a Kelly thing to do that her
- 16:18Speaker 1: kids come first, not her TV show. Do you think
- 16:21Speaker 1: she'll quit the show? So the reason this has come
- 16:23Speaker 1: up is Kelly disappeared from the show for about a
- 16:25Speaker 1: week and never really explained why why that happens. Some
- 16:28Speaker 1: some talk about maybe somebody was ill, in the family
- 16:31Speaker 1: mindside is telling me she just wanted a break. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: was just doing a daily show like that. It's a grind.
- 16:37Speaker 1: They do two shows a day, and it's a lot
- 16:39Speaker 1: to do, and they're there for hours. I know it
- 16:41Speaker 1: feels like they only work for sixty minutes, but that
- 16:45Speaker 1: is not true. It's a full day process.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Twenty minutes and we have cut I mean.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That's right. So it's a full time job and Kelly's
- 16:53Speaker 1: a little over it. And so the question was, do
- 16:55Speaker 1: you think she might quit the show? Will she walk
- 16:57Speaker 1: away from the show. Let's also point out to she's
- 16:59Speaker 1: very close hoder Hoda walked away from the Today Show
- 17:02Speaker 1: to spend time with her kids. She really did, right.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's unheard of for people.
- 17:06Speaker 2: To Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel takes the summer off with
- 17:09Speaker 2: his family.
- 17:10Speaker 1: To be the family. So do you think Kelly will
- 17:12Speaker 1: do it? Let's have a look. Seventy percent said yes,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you think you think Kelly's about the kids. I did too.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I think she's a and it's never been about the
- 17:20Speaker 1: work for her. Even though she's successful, terribly successful, she's
- 17:23Speaker 1: not that driven. She's not like a j lovel she's
- 17:26Speaker 1: not that pushy, She's cool.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Do you think that she just celebrated her one thousandth
- 17:31Speaker 2: show a week or so ago? But in there they
- 17:35Speaker 2: had a montage of Kelly and her kids on the show. Now,
- 17:39Speaker 2: do you think that was more of tugging at Kelly's
- 17:42Speaker 2: arge strings of look at the memories that you've created
- 17:46Speaker 2: over the thousand, because they really didn't do like a
- 17:48Speaker 2: montage of like Kelly laughing. What celebrity is.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That Kelly and the kids? It's the kids all the
- 17:53Speaker 1: stuff tell me that And this is why Kelly is
- 17:55Speaker 1: such a good person, Garrett, And you really do like
- 17:57Speaker 1: a great celebrity here. It's not just her. If she
- 18:00Speaker 1: leaves this show, one hundred people need a new job.
- 18:02Speaker 1: The man of people that work on her show. It's staggering.
- 18:05Speaker 1: And she really takes that very seriously. So whatever she does,
- 18:08Speaker 1: it won't be spare. At the moment, she's gonna really
- 18:10Speaker 1: think about it. Kelly, we love you. Whatever you choose,
- 18:13Speaker 1: it's the right decision. Hey, don't forget to vote on
- 18:14Speaker 1: today's Paul. Go to our Twitter page, I'd not nicer
- 18:17Speaker 1: arbor our Facebook page which is naughty simp and be
- 18:20Speaker 1: sure it's a check back tomorrow your results in that's
- 18:24Speaker 1: term for a noisiest of the day.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And well, I feel like dejevu because like when one
- 18:31Speaker 2: one door closes, another one opens and that and that's
- 18:33Speaker 2: what a Rod is looking at as he's reaching out
- 18:37Speaker 2: to Jennifer Lopez post Ben Affleck split. I mean, do
- 18:40Speaker 2: you think do you think he has moved on from
- 18:44Speaker 2: Jennifer Lopez? I think not. So. Sources are saying that
- 18:49Speaker 2: he's he's talking to Jennifer again, which you know he's
- 18:52Speaker 2: talking to Jennifer, but we don't know if Jennifer's talking
- 18:55Speaker 2: back to him, you know what I mean. So it
- 18:56Speaker 2: might just be like you know, like the text messages,
- 18:59Speaker 2: it's like, well maybe the worries fine, eventually it's like
- 19:01Speaker 2: a screen of hellos and how are you You know,
- 19:05Speaker 2: people are saying that a Rod feels like, you know,
- 19:07Speaker 2: there's there's unfinished business, aka, he really hasn't gotten over it.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I don't think anybody really would get old.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I don't know if you get over I think it's
- 19:15Speaker 1: sweet that they're speaking if you find an ex or
- 19:18Speaker 1: somebody in a bad place. Let's let's admit Jennifer's going
- 19:21Speaker 1: through some issues here, reach out, send a text. We're
- 19:24Speaker 1: going to take This is the nicest of the day,
- 19:25Speaker 1: but it could lead to the naughtiest. But we're watching
- 19:28Speaker 1: you in other ways. That the nicest of the day today.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And now I noticed the day naughty, naughty, naughty, Pat say,
- 19:35Speaker 1: Jack is ruffling feathers by returning to Wheel a fortune.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Let me explain. So Pat is coming back to do
- 19:42Speaker 1: a prime time special. This was already in the works,
- 19:45Speaker 1: This was in the carright well. Mad people are saying,
- 19:47Speaker 1: poor Ryan, he's only been on the job a little while,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and now the king is coming back, and it's drawing
- 19:54Speaker 1: a comparison, and it's probably not a good comparison for
- 19:57Speaker 1: Ryan to have. So some people are saying, Pat, you're
- 20:00Speaker 1: going to retire. Retire. It's quite cruel when somebody from
- 20:04Speaker 1: the past keeps popping back up. I'm on team Ryan here.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think Pat, it's not the right thing to do.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Ryan's now the host of the show. It's Ryan's show,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and I don't think I would do it if I
- 20:15Speaker 1: was Pat.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I agree, Yeah, you have to. I mean, even on
- 20:18Speaker 2: Jeopardy too, it is weird two hosts, and you know,
- 20:24Speaker 2: then they eventually just fig figure. Let's go with Ken Jennings.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yes, make a decision. It's Ryan's show, Team Ryan. Okay,
- 20:30Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of rob Success is a
- 20:34Speaker 1: numbers game, so start playing. We're so scared of uncertainty
- 20:39Speaker 1: that we always want to guarantee before we even try.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I want to be guaranteed, Garrett, that if I go
- 20:43Speaker 1: and talk to that hot guy in the bar, he'll
- 20:45Speaker 1: say hello. I want to be guaranteed that if I
- 20:48Speaker 1: start a podcast it will do really, really well. Well,
- 20:50Speaker 1: let me tell you that does not exist. There are
- 20:53Speaker 1: no guarantees. We want proof that it will work. And
- 20:57Speaker 1: the proof is taking that leap of faith and moving forward.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And that's how life works. In this game of life,
- 21:06Speaker 1: you've got to play to win. You've got to be
- 21:09Speaker 1: in the game. So keep going, keep moving forward, and
- 21:13Speaker 1: take that shot.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Proofs in the blood pudding, as you would.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Say, absolutely, my friends. Hey, that is it for today.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening and potentially watching. That
- 21:24Speaker 1: sounds good. The Naughty but Nice with Robin Garrett Show.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We're a production of iHeartRadio and Elvis Duran. Don't forget
- 21:31Speaker 1: to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app Apple podcasts wherever you listen,
- 21:35Speaker 1: leave us a review if you can. They really really
- 21:38Speaker 1: do help. And remember before we go, what'side tagline? If
- 21:41Speaker 1: you're going, you got to be nice, take care of everybody.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's not even nice with Rum
