- 0:05Speaker 3: Hey, John, I know we were talking to like, I
- 0:08Speaker 3: can't believe we're already to that point. And you parents
- 0:11Speaker 3: out there, you probably like, please don't say that, or
- 0:13Speaker 3: you're like, finally they're ready to go back to school.
- 0:15Speaker 1: See.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The weird thing is it feels like fourth of July
- 0:18Speaker 2: was like two weeks ago, because you know, I'm still
- 0:20Speaker 2: getting over all of this stuff with that, and it
- 0:22Speaker 2: was like five weeks ago was Christmas. So I don't
- 0:25Speaker 2: know how that's possible.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Time starts, you know, weirdly melding together and flying by
- 0:29Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 0:29Speaker 2: And quicker when you get older. Because I'm getting older
- 0:32Speaker 2: and I'm now everything cruises passed. I'm like, it is
- 0:34Speaker 2: already August. How's it August?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Right? Yeah, I don't know, but yeah, so let's talk
- 0:39Speaker 3: back to school. You know, maybe that gives you excitement,
- 0:42Speaker 3: and maybe that gives you stress, and maybe for the
- 0:44Speaker 3: kids is kind of the same feeling that they're excited
- 0:47Speaker 3: or they're stress. Maybe they're starting at a new school
- 0:49Speaker 3: or moving up a grade, they're not ready, they don't
- 0:51Speaker 3: feel like they're ready for but back to school. We're
- 0:54Speaker 3: going to talk about, you know, stress, We're going to
- 0:55Speaker 3: talk about back to school bugs, maybe some backpack stuff
- 0:58Speaker 3: over the course the next couple So tune in and
- 1:01Speaker 3: learn how you can have a health happier, healthier back
- 1:04Speaker 3: to school process.
- 1:05Speaker 2: And let's talk like from the beginning, what should we
- 1:07Speaker 2: be doing today to get ready for back to school?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Because again, I know we still have a little bit
- 1:12Speaker 2: of time, but it's cruising right up. So if somebody
- 1:14Speaker 2: has some kiddos that are in school, what should they
- 1:16Speaker 2: be doing today to get them ready? As far as
- 1:17Speaker 2: the chiropractice side.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Of things, definitely, if you feel like you're just like
- 1:21Speaker 3: on fight or flight mode and you know, go go, go,
- 1:23Speaker 3: go autopilot, you know, stressed out mode because you're thinking
- 1:26Speaker 3: of all the things you have to get done, and
- 1:28Speaker 3: maybe you're feeling like you have to get it done
- 1:30Speaker 3: right this second because school starts tomorrow. School doesn't start tomorrow,
- 1:34Speaker 3: it starts in a couple of weeks, so you.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Know, take a big breath, calm down right now. Then
- 1:38Speaker 1: talk about stress.
- 1:38Speaker 3: We've talked about stress in the past, about a lot
- 1:40Speaker 3: of different things.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Biggest thing is how are you managing that stress?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Because you're not going to get rid of it, right,
- 1:45Speaker 3: You can't ignore them like I don't have any stress?
- 1:47Speaker 1: What is that?
- 1:48Speaker 3: We always have stress? Yeah, be it physical, chemical, emotional stress.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Taking the time to you know, think about what is
- 1:55Speaker 3: causing me stressed right now and what am I doing
- 1:58Speaker 3: about it to help with managing it? You know, if
- 2:01Speaker 3: it is you feel like you're racing the clock kind
- 2:03Speaker 3: of thing, maybe write down all the things you feel
- 2:06Speaker 3: like you need to get done and prioritize, like what
- 2:08Speaker 3: needs to get done, you know, as soon as possible,
- 2:11Speaker 3: what can get done a little bit later, and what
- 2:13Speaker 3: can I push off for a little bit or delegate right.
- 2:16Speaker 1: That's another good way too.
- 2:17Speaker 3: If you have, you know, a spouse that maybe you
- 2:19Speaker 3: feel like you're always doing these things? What can you
- 2:21Speaker 3: delegate to your spouse or your partner that can help
- 2:24Speaker 3: you with getting those kids ready for back to school?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And also, you know, if you feel like you just
- 2:30Speaker 3: kind of been running on you know, go go, go go,
- 2:32Speaker 3: or the kids are feeling like they're just like crazy
- 2:34Speaker 3: energy like all over the place. Chiropractic is a really
- 2:37Speaker 3: good way to help with managing your stress. We were
- 2:39Speaker 3: kind of talking about this just a little bit ago
- 2:41Speaker 3: before we start this interview, just talking about stress, how
- 2:44Speaker 3: we're managing it and having the highs of highs and
- 2:47Speaker 3: lows and lows feeling well. Chiropractic can kind of help
- 2:50Speaker 3: tone that down a bit so you don't have the
- 2:51Speaker 3: highs of highs and lows and lows, helping you to
- 2:53Speaker 3: manage your stress, helping your nervous system to function better.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Through these stressful times.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Because when we're not functioning well, that's when we kind
- 3:00Speaker 3: of feel like we're just all over the place, crazier,
- 3:03Speaker 3: we're really exhausted, tired because we've been so stressed out
- 3:06Speaker 3: and now we have no energy to want to do
- 3:08Speaker 3: the things we're supposed.
- 3:09Speaker 1: To be doing.
- 3:10Speaker 2: And one of the things you can do is but
- 3:12Speaker 2: having your body adjusted, chiropractic adjustment gets everything all communicating properly,
- 3:17Speaker 2: so that will give you the best chance of whether
- 3:20Speaker 2: it's taking care of stress, or healing faster, or getting
- 3:23Speaker 2: sick less. It's just a really it's a great way
- 3:26Speaker 2: to have this as part of your health plan, right.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And it's going to help keep you from getting sick,
- 3:31Speaker 3: help keep your kids from getting sick. We'll talk a
- 3:33Speaker 3: little bit more about like the back to school bugs
- 3:35Speaker 3: here in the next couple of podcast episodes, but it's
- 3:39Speaker 3: helping your whole family to be healthier, happier, handling stress
- 3:43Speaker 3: better so you can enjoy the back to school process more.
