Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cameridge Edge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Twatt's Flashback, but
- 0:20Speaker 2: this time me and Tamara are actually going to be
- 0:23Speaker 2: recapping the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season one.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Oh dun dun, dum Hi damn hi. So you have
- 0:35Speaker 3: never seen season one, and you know.
- 0:38Speaker 2: What, Thank goodness by, I would have gone in in
- 0:43Speaker 2: a totally different mindset than I went in, Like the
- 0:47Speaker 2: favorites that I have, like my actual close friends, aren't
- 0:52Speaker 2: necessarily my favorites in this episode. Like, this is a lot,
- 0:59Speaker 2: it's a lot to packed knowing everybody now.
- 1:02Speaker 4: It aired October fourteenth and two thousand.
- 1:05Speaker 3: And thirteen years ago.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Thirteen years ago, but already you can see a huge difference.
- 1:12Speaker 2: My first point would be the difference between season one
- 1:16Speaker 2: of Beverly Hills and season one of Orange County.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we were two, We were with two thousand and eight,
- 1:21Speaker 3: so we were two years prior to Beverly Hills launching.
- 1:25Speaker 3: And you can just tell by the graininess of the video,
- 1:30Speaker 3: the sound, the clothes.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, the lifestyle, I mean all.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Every I remember when Beverly Hills came out.
- 1:38Speaker 5: We were.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Season three or four? Was it is that right? That's right?
- 1:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess it is probably.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Oh I came on on two thousand and eight, so
- 1:51Speaker 3: it had two years prior, so that's why I'm getting confused. Yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 3: so they were like four years after us. They were
- 1:59Speaker 3: the Life Style Show, and we're like, oh my god,
- 2:03Speaker 3: they're so rich.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Well even, but yes, they are so rich. You can
- 2:08Speaker 2: tell the photo editing, like everything is better. But did
- 2:13Speaker 2: you notice something? These women didn't have glam for confessionals.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I did.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I didn't notice that. Are you sure they had no
- 2:23Speaker 3: glam because I feel like we had glam?
- 2:25Speaker 4: No, I don't think so. I mean I could tell.
- 2:28Speaker 3: By I think lamb was just different back then.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Glam was either different back then. I didn't see any
- 2:32Speaker 2: fake eyelash.
- 2:33Speaker 3: No, we didn't wear fake eyelashes back then.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I was like looking, I was like, nope, don't see
- 2:39Speaker 2: any don't see any fake eyelashes. I see some frizzy hair,
- 2:43Speaker 2: I see you know, all the things.
- 2:46Speaker 4: But synopsis for episode.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Why are you saying it was more real back then?
- 2:51Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:52Speaker 2: I mean I feel like it's nobody knew really what
- 2:55Speaker 2: they were getting themselves into so everybody seems pretty free, yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 2: like because it started off with drama already, like and
- 3:04Speaker 2: it felt authentic the drama. I know.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I was actually pretty shocked going back and watching And
- 3:08Speaker 3: let me tell you, I do not remember watching them.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I know they I did thirteen years ago, but I
- 3:14Speaker 3: do not remember anything that I saw. And there was
- 3:18Speaker 3: drama with Kim and Kyle, like right.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Out of the gate, right out of the gate, Kim
- 3:23Speaker 2: and Taylor, right out of the gate.
- 3:26Speaker 4: I mean.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And I'm only watching two at a time so that
- 3:28Speaker 2: we can do this recap.
- 3:30Speaker 4: So I'm sure there's so much more coming.
- 3:32Speaker 2: But this episode is called Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit
- 3:37Speaker 2: of Wealthiness.
- 3:39Speaker 4: The synopsis from this episode is following a group of very.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Glamorous women living their best lives in Beverly Hills. Adrian
- 3:47Speaker 2: surprises the girls when she takes the ladies on a
- 3:49Speaker 2: private jet to watch the King's game. Okay, first thing
- 3:53Speaker 2: I noticed about that private jet was that Lisa vander
- 3:57Speaker 2: Pump was sitting sideways, like in the sideways, And I
- 4:00Speaker 2: was like, that would have never happened because like it
- 4:04Speaker 2: was by seniority, like so I would have one hundred
- 4:07Speaker 2: percent been in the sideway seat.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You'd be in the jump seat.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yeah, the jump seat.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh. Okay, So let's let's
- 4:15Speaker 2: break down the cast. You want to go first?
- 4:18Speaker 4: You want to do Lisa? Sure?
- 4:19Speaker 3: Lisa Vanda Pump and her husband kN own twenty six restaurants, bars,
- 4:23Speaker 3: and clubs. Cedric, who previously worked for them in London,
- 4:26Speaker 3: has been living in their house for over a year
- 4:29Speaker 3: and they can't get rid of him. Tagline is in
- 4:32Speaker 3: Beverly Hills, it's who you know and I.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Know everyone, Yeah, including the tabloids.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Oh snap, but here's here's twenty restaurants. Do they still
- 4:45Speaker 3: own twenty six? So I've never heard of twenty six restaurants.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I think that meant in like full time, like their
- 4:51Speaker 2: duration of the time they've been together, and they've been
- 4:54Speaker 2: together a very long time.
- 4:55Speaker 4: But I think that comes back to London, et cetera.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But one thing I can say, if you guys are
- 5:01Speaker 2: curious about the Cedric story line, go find Cedric's social
- 5:08Speaker 2: media because he has a lot to say.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Is he still friends with kids?
- 5:15Speaker 5: No?
- 5:18Speaker 3: Okay, so what's his deal?
- 5:20Speaker 2: I mean, essentially, long story short, he's claiming that it
- 5:24Speaker 2: was all because her families were grown And I don't
- 5:27Speaker 2: know if any of this is true, because her kids
- 5:29Speaker 2: no longer lived there. Allegedly they were grown up and
- 5:34Speaker 2: moved out. And he's claiming allegedly he was asked to
- 5:39Speaker 2: be there in order to give somebody to film with.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I don't know if that's the case.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So all these jokes about when Cedric leaving Cedric's supposedly
- 5:51Speaker 2: that's all not true.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Was he humiliated afterwards?
- 5:55Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I I it was so long ago that I came
- 5:58Speaker 2: down the Cedric rabbit hole, like I think it.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Was around the time that I mean.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Oh, I guess it comes up later in this season,
- 6:05Speaker 2: but I haven't seen it yet. So AnyWho, that's Lisa
- 6:10Speaker 2: vander Pump. Then we've got Adrian Maloof. She is part
- 6:14Speaker 2: of her family business Sacramento Kings, the Palms casino in
- 6:17Speaker 2: Las Vegas, the skateboarding business, and the music business. She
- 6:21Speaker 2: is married to Paul Nasa, who she hates, a well
- 6:25Speaker 2: known plastic surgeon. They keep everything separate and have conflicting views.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Her tagline is money is what I have, not who
- 6:34Speaker 2: I am. And I'm just wondering why Adrian's hair looks
- 6:40Speaker 2: like it might be a Christmas tree.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Did you notice there's tinsil in there?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yeah, you go. I'm back that I
- 6:45Speaker 3: do remember, and she does that throughout her time on
- 6:49Speaker 3: the show. It wasn't like a one season thing. I'm
- 6:53Speaker 3: pretty sure always.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I mean, I'm gonna have my ten year old wanted
- 6:58Speaker 4: the tinsol. At one point.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I didn't know that tinsel was even a thing in
- 7:03Speaker 2: twenty ten, but apparently, oh it was.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I mean, I didn't do it, but I just remember
- 7:08Speaker 3: seeing her do it, and I'm like, no, girl, no,
- 7:11Speaker 3: I'm no fashion I call him, but I'm saying no that.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just given a flat no to Tinsel.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 7:20Speaker 3: That Camill Grammar. She was a bit iconic in her
- 7:25Speaker 3: dance moves and I'm married to the best actor in Hollywood.
- 7:29Speaker 3: In her low voice. Camille Grammar is a dancer and
- 7:33Speaker 3: used to dance on Club MTV. She is married to
- 7:36Speaker 3: actor Kelsey Grammer and they have two children. She has
- 7:39Speaker 3: four nannies that rotate too per kid, and her timeline
- 7:42Speaker 3: is It's time for me to come out of my
- 7:44Speaker 3: husband's shadow and shine.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Which I thought was pretty hilarious. Considering the entire time
- 7:51Speaker 2: she's talking about her husband.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I know, and he's not even given her one ounce
- 7:56Speaker 3: of attention. I'm actually shocked that he even filmed knowing
- 8:00Speaker 3: I do remember when the divorce stuff came up, and
- 8:02Speaker 3: the stuff about the New York apartment and what went
- 8:06Speaker 3: down there and all that. So I'm shocked. But do
- 8:09Speaker 3: you really think that he was going he was leaving
- 8:13Speaker 3: to shoot a movie for one year? Or was it
- 8:16Speaker 3: his way of saying, listen, I will give you this
- 8:19Speaker 3: and then I'm going to say I'm out. I'm filming
- 8:21Speaker 3: a show.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I do think he's was giving her this, And this
- 8:27Speaker 2: is just a guess. I could be wrong, but I
- 8:30Speaker 2: think he gave her this because remember, you know, she's
- 8:33Speaker 2: sent her diamond. At this point, He's made he made appearances, well,
- 8:37Speaker 2: he made an appearance like a confessional, he's on the voice,
- 8:41Speaker 2: he does one phone call, which wasn't great. But I
- 8:44Speaker 2: think in his mind, I'm going to give her something
- 8:47Speaker 2: because I'm already planning to leave, but not just to
- 8:51Speaker 2: go do the show.
- 8:52Speaker 4: I think he was already done with the marriage.
- 8:54Speaker 3: But do you think that he said he was leaving
- 8:56Speaker 3: for a year because he didn't want to film.
- 8:58Speaker 4: No, I think he didn't want to be married to
- 9:01Speaker 4: her anymore.
- 9:02Speaker 3: No, I know that, but I don't I don't believe
- 9:05Speaker 3: he left for a solid year. I don't believe that.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Well, no, if you're filming, if you're going to do
- 9:10Speaker 2: a show on Broadway, it's a year. But when you
- 9:13Speaker 2: come home, yeah, I mean you would definitely come home
- 9:17Speaker 2: or they would come to see you, which is why
- 9:18Speaker 2: I think they She's seen with the decorators supposedly updating
- 9:23Speaker 2: their you know, apartment in New York. But I do
- 9:27Speaker 2: think this was his. Like, I'm throwing you a bone here,
- 9:30Speaker 2: you go, run with it. Do what you can make
- 9:32Speaker 2: of it, because soon you're about to be I'm about
- 9:35Speaker 2: to humiliate you and all the tablets.
- 9:37Speaker 3: And I'm going to give you millions of dollars.
- 9:40Speaker 4: True, So it is what it is.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Then we get to Taylor Armstrong, who we are actually
- 9:57Speaker 2: seeing today. Tailor Armstrong is married to Russell Armstrong, an
- 10:02Speaker 2: investment banker. She says the relationship is eighty percent business
- 10:06Speaker 2: and twenty percent romance. She has shown getting filler since
- 10:10Speaker 2: she is worried that her husband will leave her for
- 10:12Speaker 2: a twenty year old tagline it may look like I
- 10:16Speaker 2: have it all, but I want more.
- 10:20Speaker 4: And she's I think she's she's likable this first episode.
- 10:25Speaker 3: She Yeah, she's actually a pretty big staple to the
- 10:28Speaker 3: to the Housewives show.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And she doesn't seem you can tell she's fresh. You know,
- 10:36Speaker 2: I forget what it was exactly that she said, but
- 10:38Speaker 2: she said something along the lines maybe making it up,
- 10:41Speaker 2: but like, I'm from Oklahoma. I always wanted this big life,
- 10:47Speaker 2: and you know you went out and got it. Yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 2: she went out and got it. She's enamored by it already.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You saw from the like And this is why I
- 10:54Speaker 2: have to say you have to be careful with filler,
- 10:57Speaker 2: because you could even see when it was happening. You're like, oh,
- 11:01Speaker 2: we're only episode one and big changes are happening already.
- 11:06Speaker 4: All right, you take the next one.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Kim Richards is a single mom of four kids. She
- 11:10Speaker 3: talks about her career as a child actress and how
- 11:13Speaker 3: being a mom is now her focus. Her tagline is,
- 11:16Speaker 3: I was a child star, but now my most important
- 11:19Speaker 3: role is being a mother.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And and Kim was the original IMDb housewife with that
- 11:27Speaker 2: resume and.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Or not, who do you think it was at that time?
- 11:34Speaker 3: The most famous cast member. Kim Yeah, I would say
- 11:41Speaker 3: I never had heard Kyle's name, but Camille Grammar, for sure.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Camille Grammar I don't think was famous until she was famous.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Because her husband was famous, I think, right, But I've
- 11:55Speaker 3: been MTV. You don't remember the MTV.
- 11:58Speaker 2: No, when she was on MTV, it wasn't like she was.
- 12:02Speaker 2: And I'm not shading her. I'm just saying it's not
- 12:04Speaker 2: like she was like Carmen Elektra or Jenny McCarthy, like
- 12:08Speaker 2: she was one of like you know, I.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Had heard of her though, and I don't know if
- 12:11Speaker 3: it's from Kelsey or what, but I had at least.
- 12:13Speaker 4: You heard of her before the divorce. Really, I don't know.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yeah, she was married, she was on Housewives before the divorce,
- 12:21Speaker 3: but even prior to that, I had heard of her.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I think I was the tabloids for me.
- 12:27Speaker 2: But I also think in twenty ten, how old was
- 12:31Speaker 2: I five?
- 12:35Speaker 4: I feel like I.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Was probably not watching it, you know, any type show
- 12:39Speaker 2: like this, or really reading US Weekly or any of
- 12:42Speaker 2: those things. The next one is Kyle Richards Zumanski. She
- 12:45Speaker 2: grew up as a child actress as well. She is
- 12:48Speaker 2: married to Mauricio, who works in high end real estate
- 12:51Speaker 2: and is a mom of four daughters and a town
- 12:54Speaker 2: full of phonies. I'm not afraid to be me. I
- 12:57Speaker 2: could barely even take this is where I knew how
- 13:00Speaker 2: long ago this was Portia is one.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I know her little curls on her head like she
- 13:07Speaker 3: is a baby baby.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I know.
- 13:11Speaker 3: I would have to say, Lisa vander Plump is pretty
- 13:14Speaker 3: freaking funny. Yeah, she's got she's a funny lady. She's
- 13:18Speaker 3: not hasn't calls me a sex object. Every time I
- 13:21Speaker 3: want sex, I object. Yeah, every time he wants sex,
- 13:25Speaker 3: I object.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I think where it got old for the ladies as
- 13:30Speaker 2: the years went on, was it's the same joke for
- 13:32Speaker 2: fourteen years.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Oh just just a pivot on the joke, you know what.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I mean, Like, oh, she's the same joke over and over.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, well, like it's always the sex jokes. It's
- 13:43Speaker 4: the blah. But it's like, yes she is, and I'm
- 13:46Speaker 4: not taking away that.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Watching this episode, I was like, oh, Lisa Vanner Plump, amazing,
- 13:52Speaker 2: love her, so funny, so great, Like she's she's very
- 13:56Speaker 2: entertaining to watch.
- 13:58Speaker 4: And then Camille's deaf and Lee.
- 14:00Speaker 2: The most like, oh my gosh, there's a human like
- 14:03Speaker 2: this that exists.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Well, she was a TV gold. Everything she did was
- 14:06Speaker 3: pretty much TV gold. I'm surprised Kelsey even filmed. He
- 14:09Speaker 3: just seems so checked out.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Camille was considered the most hated housewife after this season,
- 14:16Speaker 2: so I can only imagine where they really yes, and.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Then sometimes that can be a good thing.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and sometimes it can get you fired.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you never know.
- 14:29Speaker 3: You know, you can hate to hate, but when you
- 14:31Speaker 3: hate to can't stand them, hate them, don't want them
- 14:34Speaker 3: on the show, that's a whole different story.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Well Andy definitely brings that up at the reunion. But then,
- 14:38Speaker 2: you know, kind of one of the first scenes, as
- 14:40Speaker 2: you see Kyle is going with her sister Kim to
- 14:44Speaker 2: find a house. Kyle feels a sense of responsibility for Kim,
- 14:47Speaker 2: even though she's the younger sister.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Something that kind of resonated.
- 14:52Speaker 2: With me was when she said, my mom asked me
- 14:56Speaker 2: as she was passing away, to please take care of.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Kim, who's older than her.
- 15:02Speaker 2: But what I was wondering was did the mom ever
- 15:05Speaker 2: have any conversation with Kim letting her know she had asked.
- 15:10Speaker 4: This of Kyle? I don't know, because.
- 15:13Speaker 2: That's can you imagine if you didn't know the other
- 15:16Speaker 2: side of it, and you're like, what's going on?
- 15:18Speaker 4: And at this point I'm wondering.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Is is Kyle taking care of Kim financially?
- 15:24Speaker 4: Is this why this is all? Well?
- 15:27Speaker 3: I remember in episodes coming up, there was talk about
- 15:31Speaker 3: Kyle had bought her house and things like that.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Well, I think it's that house in Palm Springs. I
- 15:37Speaker 2: think that house was left to them. And if memory
- 15:42Speaker 2: serves of just what I heard from you know, filming
- 15:46Speaker 2: all those years, I think Kyle bought out Kim's portion
- 15:51Speaker 2: because Kim needed money or something like that.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I couldn't.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And that's where it comes from. You stole my house from.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Me, Yes, but she needed finance.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Anybody like anybody that eats fake butter, Margarine.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I can't believe it's not butter. Yes, when I growing up,
- 16:10Speaker 2: my mom used spray. I can't believe it's not butter,
- 16:13Speaker 2: And it took me years to even understand the taste
- 16:17Speaker 2: of real butter.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I think that that was a thing though. I think
- 16:21Speaker 3: that there's a stigma. Butter is horrible for you back
- 16:24Speaker 3: then and then every they were making all these margarines
- 16:26Speaker 3: and spray butters, and everybody jumped on that wagon until
- 16:28Speaker 3: they figured it out.
- 16:29Speaker 2: It's all chemicals, and we were told that Margarine was
- 16:32Speaker 2: better for us.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I just said.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, I know, I know how about him?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Maybe I want to have another baby. How old was
- 16:43Speaker 3: she at this time?
- 16:45Speaker 4: Unclear, but I'm pretty sure.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Her kids were all grown. I want another baby. Her
- 16:51Speaker 3: kid's not married. I'm like, no, I know why your
- 16:55Speaker 3: mom wanted Kyle to take care of you, because your
- 16:57Speaker 3: decision making is off.
- 16:59Speaker 2: And also even as she's like wanting to get this
- 17:02Speaker 2: ginormous house, even though most of her kids are grown,
- 17:05Speaker 2: and You're just like, there's parts that I just see
- 17:09Speaker 2: that remind me of someone in my family that just
- 17:12Speaker 2: I'm like, you are going to lose every bit of
- 17:15Speaker 2: money that you make doing this show or with these
- 17:19Speaker 2: kinds of decision making. But you know, it does start
- 17:23Speaker 2: to get dark. You can start to see where this relationship.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Do you think Kyle brought on Kim to the show
- 17:29Speaker 3: or Kim brought on Kyle? Who got who was approached first?
- 17:35Speaker 2: I to my knowledge, it was Kyle and Lisa vander Pump,
- 17:44Speaker 2: And then it kind of went like I think they
- 17:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it was them, and then
- 17:49Speaker 2: they brought on and at that point I think everybody
- 17:53Speaker 2: did kind of know each other.
- 17:55Speaker 3: H Yeah, Lisa and Adrian lind across the street from
- 17:59Speaker 3: each other.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 18:01Speaker 3: By the way, I do not remember that house that
- 18:03Speaker 3: Kyle and Marisia lived in. I thought they had always
- 18:06Speaker 3: lived in that other house with the black and white
- 18:09Speaker 3: and yeah, the one that, yeah, they had forever, I
- 18:12Speaker 3: guess not.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Then Adrian flies to everyone on her private plane to
- 18:16Speaker 2: Sacramento for the Kings versus Lakers game, Lisa saying she
- 18:21Speaker 2: hates flying with Kyle and thinks it's strange that Kyle
- 18:25Speaker 2: always assumes the worst.
- 18:27Speaker 4: In your opinion.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Because we later seasons on this on in Beverly Hills,
- 18:32Speaker 2: Garcell didn't like flying private. She'd prefer to fly commercial.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Do you think flying private is more or less scary?
- 18:40Speaker 3: I think it's more scary. I feel like commercial their
- 18:44Speaker 3: planes are looked at constantly and there's so many restrictions,
- 18:48Speaker 3: and I don't know when I mean knock on wood,
- 18:51Speaker 3: but private are usually the ones.
- 18:55Speaker 2: That, oh my gosh, for me, as long as there's
- 18:59Speaker 2: two pilots.
- 19:00Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Two pilots means if something happens to one pilot, the
- 19:04Speaker 2: other pilot is there for backup. There are certain private
- 19:07Speaker 2: planes that have one pilot and that makes me very nervous.
- 19:10Speaker 2: To me, the scariest thing about this flight was Vanner
- 19:16Speaker 2: Pump bringing Jiggy.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Why she brings him everywhere everywhere?
- 19:22Speaker 4: Like he doesn't want to go?
- 19:24Speaker 2: And what dog can just automatically pee on cement for
- 19:27Speaker 2: the two seconds it's on the ground. I no, grass,
- 19:30Speaker 2: He's just fine to go.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It's a lot of work.
- 19:32Speaker 4: I know.
- 19:33Speaker 3: We've been taking Rugby places with us. I'm like, do
- 19:35Speaker 3: we have to this time?
- 19:37Speaker 4: And Rugby's big?
- 19:38Speaker 2: I know. Then we get to we start to really
- 19:43Speaker 2: see the dynamic of Kyle being more of the one
- 19:48Speaker 2: comfortable in her own skin around new people. She's definitely
- 19:53Speaker 2: the life of the party with others. And then Kim
- 19:58Speaker 2: is definitely reserved. And I don't know if it's because
- 20:02Speaker 2: she has a guard up, she's been burned in the past.
- 20:04Speaker 2: She says it's because she grew up not with a
- 20:06Speaker 2: regular childhood, so she didn't really have any.
- 20:09Speaker 3: She said, I was quite famous Paris. Your end is
- 20:14Speaker 3: an icon.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I know when she was talking about leaving the restaurant,
- 20:18Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, oh god. Kyle thinks
- 20:23Speaker 2: Kim needs to make more of an effort to bond
- 20:25Speaker 2: with other people. Kim thinks Kyle walked away from her
- 20:28Speaker 2: and did not help. I think, you know, if you've
- 20:31Speaker 2: already been on a plane ride, you've already been at dinner,
- 20:35Speaker 2: had enough time, You've had enough time to decide who
- 20:39Speaker 2: it is that you're going to sit with and after
- 20:41Speaker 2: to be perfectly honest, after seeing Kim and Kyle's communication,
- 20:47Speaker 2: I probably wouldn't want to sit next to my sister either,
- 20:50Speaker 2: like they should.
- 20:51Speaker 3: But she's a big girl. She can sit next to
- 20:53Speaker 3: somebody and have a conversation.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but then she you know, you hear Taylor say, oh,
- 21:00Speaker 2: you know, she wouldn't talk to me, and then you
- 21:03Speaker 2: hear Kim say she turned her back on me.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Well, this is just the beginning of the Tailor versus Kim.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Stay tuned, Okay, Well, I I love to see this
- 21:13Speaker 2: spunky and feisty tailor on Beverly Hills because now that
- 21:16Speaker 2: she's Orange County, I'm like.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Bring that over here, girl, we need some of that.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I know, I want to see more of this tailor
- 21:25Speaker 2: there I hear to happen percent.
- 21:31Speaker 3: How about Camille, She goes, this might sound obnoxious, but
- 21:35Speaker 3: I fly private all the time. Yes, it sounds obnoxious.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Essentially everything Camille said this entire episode, and actually the
- 21:44Speaker 2: next episode was obnoxious to me.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I was like, and we.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Get I don't and we get that Kyle's a bit
- 21:53Speaker 3: of a hypochondriac.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Would you agree, Yes, she has gotten better with flying,
- 21:57Speaker 2: but one hundred percent no.
- 22:00Speaker 3: And she thought she had a stroke but it was
- 22:01Speaker 3: actually her false eyelash was misplaced or something.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Yeah, no, believe me there, granted, but I can.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I can be the same way where I'm like, oh
- 22:11Speaker 2: my gosh, I've been spotting for four weeks, I'm dying
- 22:14Speaker 2: and You're like, Teddy, it's pre perimenopasa, and.
- 22:16Speaker 4: I'm like, I get it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: But she definitely has gotten more comfortable flying private as
- 22:22Speaker 2: the years have gone on.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I'm sure the uncomfortableness of Adriane and Paul. I'm gonna
- 22:28Speaker 3: go out on a lemon and say she left him.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I mean one, I feel like he was really loving her,
- 22:36Speaker 2: Like I feel like he yes as I'm saying.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And she's just like, oh, oh, I can't kiss you,
- 22:41Speaker 3: I can't touch you. Suddy, you're this, You're that, you
- 22:44Speaker 3: can Let's go to Vegas. No, just stay home. It's like,
- 22:47Speaker 3: damn all right.
- 22:48Speaker 2: We are on to episode two of Real Housewives Beverly
- 22:53Speaker 2: Hill Season one. This one's called Chocolate Lubatons. It's Easter
- 22:57Speaker 2: weekend and Adrian is off to Las Vegas for a
- 22:59Speaker 2: photo shoot with a hot mail model. Kyle accuses Kim
- 23:02Speaker 2: of having no life outside of her children, and the
- 23:05Speaker 2: sisters celebrate Kim's daughter's birthday. Starts out with the lunch
- 23:09Speaker 2: with Adrian and Paul watching Paul order his salad. I
- 23:15Speaker 2: know most people would say this is why they dislike Paul.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I mean, this is why Adrian dislikes Paul.
- 23:20Speaker 4: This is why I love him. That is me.
- 23:23Speaker 3: That is he talking about the turkey chili.
- 23:27Speaker 2: No, when he's like, I will have the chopped salad,
- 23:30Speaker 2: but only certain items chopped, and then I would like
- 23:33Speaker 2: to have the turkey and then actually salami but just
- 23:36Speaker 2: a little bit of slammy. Do you want the salami
- 23:38Speaker 2: on the side, And she's like He's like, no, on there,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and she's like, so half and half and He's like,
- 23:43Speaker 2: no on the you know, like it just went on
- 23:45Speaker 2: and on. But yeah, you can see an Adrian's face.
- 23:49Speaker 4: She can't take it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I would neither.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Then you want to get into Camille how she says her.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Camille says she is busier than the other housewives because
- 23:58Speaker 3: she produces for her her husband's company. She says she
- 24:01Speaker 3: is married to one of the best actors in Hollywood
- 24:04Speaker 3: and she learned so much from being married to him.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Do you think Camille is deeply involved in actually producing
- 24:10Speaker 3: or is it more of a Kelsey just keeping her busy.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I think she also learned Kelsey's arrogance, apparently.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Because because Kelsey, because she has no self awareness, there's
- 24:26Speaker 3: no social awareness, but makes her amazing housewife at the time.
- 24:30Speaker 4: It does make her an amazing housewife.
- 24:32Speaker 2: But I think we saw the two times that Camille
- 24:35Speaker 2: was communicating with other people, whether it was the writer
- 24:39Speaker 2: for the new show, then you heard Kelsey just being
- 24:42Speaker 2: dismissive of what he's even she's even telling him.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Then when we see her.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Just talking about how are we going to fit our
- 24:50Speaker 2: family in this four bedroom walk up in New York,
- 24:54Speaker 2: And then the way she just talks about men the
- 24:56Speaker 2: way she's talking pretty much all of it is so
- 25:00Speaker 2: beyond cringe to me.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I could be and take it.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I know that's why she was the most hated housewife.
- 25:04Speaker 4: I'm sure, yeah, I mean I think he was just
- 25:07Speaker 4: kind of.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And nowadays we have housewives that are so much more
- 25:10Speaker 3: pretentious than that.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Well, actually, I don't know.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I would say it's I mean, who do you think
- 25:18Speaker 2: is more pretentious, Camille or Heather.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I think they're both pretentious, but in different ways.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I think Heather has a very snide, smart way of
- 25:31Speaker 3: making you feel like she's so much better than you,
- 25:34Speaker 3: and Camille's just kind of in your face. You're like, yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 3: that's what I was thinking too.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It's so in your face, it's so in the note
- 25:42Speaker 2: on the Nose, then, Taylor says she's keeping up with
- 25:45Speaker 2: the Beverly Hills lifestyle, which requires having a lot of money,
- 25:49Speaker 2: but being able to hire people to work for you
- 25:51Speaker 2: is what money means. She has a stylist come to
- 25:54Speaker 2: the house, which she says is one of the perks
- 25:56Speaker 2: of being married to Russell. What does having money mean
- 26:03Speaker 2: for you? Like when you have extra money to spend, like,
- 26:06Speaker 2: what is what do you splur John.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I have lots of extra money. I don't like to
- 26:12Speaker 3: spend money. I like to keep it in the bank. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 3: I'm not a big I don't buy big things like
- 26:19Speaker 3: I hardly ever, as I just dropped twenty grand at
- 26:23Speaker 3: Cardia yesterday.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Well congratulations, By the way, it looks beautiful. All I
- 26:29Speaker 2: could really think about during this scene is I want
- 26:31Speaker 2: to just hold up a sign to Ryan and all
- 26:35Speaker 2: the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season one, no more
- 26:39Speaker 2: true religion genes, like even I know, I don't want.
- 26:42Speaker 4: To see them, I know, but Taylor her.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Comment about I'm married to Russell, he's very masculine, and
- 26:50Speaker 3: I'm like, says nobody.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Ever, even you, I don't.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I mean, granted, I know what ends up coming, but
- 26:58Speaker 2: already they're the two most strained relationships, well, the three
- 27:02Speaker 2: most strained relationships on the show. Even though I know
- 27:05Speaker 2: that Kelsey and Kimielle are breaking up. Are Adrian and
- 27:10Speaker 2: Paul and Russell and Taylor, Russell and Taylor and Kim
- 27:14Speaker 2: and Kyle.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm thinking that Taylor was kind of in
- 27:18Speaker 3: the dark about the finances. I don't think Russell ever
- 27:22Speaker 3: told her what was going on, because she really thought
- 27:24Speaker 3: that she had a limited amount of.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Money, yeah, or she just really went for it.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Regardless, Kim and Kyle go to Palm Springs every year
- 27:44Speaker 2: for Easter. Kyle's nervous about hosting Lisa vander Pump and
- 27:47Speaker 2: her family because they have a very luxurious lifestyle. Lisa
- 27:54Speaker 2: feels in the middle of Kyle and Kim when they argue. However,
- 27:59Speaker 2: I see why Kyle is nervous to host Lisa and
- 28:03Speaker 2: Ken because they made comments the second they walked in.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Well, that guys seem really organized.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Well with your Margarine, I mean, I mean that's just
- 28:16Speaker 3: Lisa vander pumpt for sure, But Kyle and Kim have
- 28:19Speaker 3: such a complex relationship. It makes interesting TV, but it
- 28:23Speaker 3: cannot be good for family life, No cannot.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I honestly was more concerned about everybody licking the same
- 28:31Speaker 2: giant bunny.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Bunny and I was about the king.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I can't believe it's not butter potatoes, Like, oh, I mean,
- 28:41Speaker 2: everyone's like seven years off taking the freaking care and
- 28:45Speaker 2: pounding it out.
- 28:46Speaker 4: I'm like, what is happening here?
- 28:48Speaker 3: Can you instantly see the stress on Kyle's face when
- 28:52Speaker 3: Kim's around?
- 28:53Speaker 4: Yeah, because she does her signature.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Her shoulders, starts touching her ear.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because she wants You could tell she wants it
- 29:02Speaker 2: to go well, and then just knows it's gonna spiral.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Then Adrian goes to Vegas for a photo shoot and
- 29:09Speaker 2: wears lingerie.
- 29:10Speaker 4: But by the way, it didn't it looked like a
- 29:12Speaker 4: black dress to me.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't look like lingerie at all. But Paul
- 29:17Speaker 3: doesn't like how the male model was there to show
- 29:19Speaker 3: up for the shoot and tells him he was the
- 29:22Speaker 3: model they were supposed to pick. He was joking and
- 29:27Speaker 3: told the model to be a good boy, and then
- 29:29Speaker 3: the model was so sweet.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's like, you don't have to worry about Like that
- 29:33Speaker 2: made me like both of them like the interaction. But
- 29:36Speaker 2: when Paul just even tried to get a little smooch
- 29:39Speaker 2: before he left, She's like, my.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Lipstick And then she was like.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Like it was I know.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Taylor meets with Linda Thompson, ex wife of Bruce Jenner
- 29:52Speaker 3: and mom to Brody and Brendan Jenner. Boy have things
- 29:55Speaker 3: change right? They discussed how their kids are growing up
- 29:58Speaker 3: with so much more than they had to go with.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I had to explain to her son that everyone has
- 30:04Speaker 3: a pool Taylor says her daughter can't even fathom what
- 30:08Speaker 3: it's like to be hungry. Did you ever have to
- 30:11Speaker 3: explain things like this to your kids?
- 30:14Speaker 4: No, I mean I did.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Used to explain things like when I was younger, when
- 30:18Speaker 2: they get particular about their water.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Yeah, like I like this.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Water I used to drink out of the house and
- 30:25Speaker 3: then hundreds.
- 30:26Speaker 2: That's what I used to drink out of the house
- 30:28Speaker 2: of the nineteen hundreds.
- 30:29Speaker 4: And it used to taste like eggs.
- 30:31Speaker 3: It would taste horrible, like I sulfur or whatever. Yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 3: but Linda told Taylor to take her daughter to Africa.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That whole conversation, which, by the way, if you guys
- 30:43Speaker 2: also want to go down another rabbit hole, go down
- 30:46Speaker 2: and follow Brodie Jenner's baby mama or fiance. I'm so
- 30:52Speaker 2: blown away by all the things this girl did while
- 30:54Speaker 2: she was pregnant, and like, how effortless she just made
- 30:58Speaker 2: childbirth inside.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Of a pool. I have to go look, go look,
- 31:03Speaker 4: you're gonna be like.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I was like, and I was crying around with my epidural.
- 31:08Speaker 2: She's in the damn pool getting video. They're like kissing
- 31:11Speaker 2: and embracing, he's massaging her neck. I was like, shit,
- 31:14Speaker 2: we did some things wrong, all right. Then we get
- 31:17Speaker 2: to Kim and Kyle bring their daughters to the SPA.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Kim tells Kyle that her daughter, Whitney, wants to go
- 31:23Speaker 2: back to Houston for the summer to be with her father.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Kim wants Kyle's support and not allowing Whitney to go.
- 31:29Speaker 2: This is where I don't understand, Like, Kim, if you
- 31:33Speaker 2: want to sound a set a ground rule for your child,
- 31:36Speaker 2: you don't, don't even bring Kyle into it.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Just handle it with your China.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Well, what I don't understand is this Orange County filmed
- 31:43Speaker 3: at that exact same location, at that exact same table,
- 31:46Speaker 3: and I think the exact same year. We have the
- 31:48Speaker 3: same production company. Why do they allow that?
- 31:51Speaker 2: Oh well I'm filmed at that same exact location with
- 31:54Speaker 2: Denise Richards and Sutton Strack. So Sonia, drkar congratulations when
- 32:00Speaker 2: you sign the Riders.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Good job.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 5: I mean this.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Whole thing about she wanted Kyle to say something particular
- 32:11Speaker 3: and she didn't and she got pissed off about it.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I didn't get that at all, Like, this is your daughter,
- 32:18Speaker 3: she's actually girl. Wasn't she of age at that point?
- 32:21Speaker 3: Eighteen years old. I think she had one more year
- 32:24Speaker 3: left of school. She wanted to go to her dad's.
- 32:27Speaker 3: She missed her friends. Like, I mean, Kim, is that
- 32:31Speaker 3: reliant on her kids?
- 32:33Speaker 4: Well?
- 32:33Speaker 2: I mean, and then Kyle says it, and as Kyle
- 32:36Speaker 2: saying it, you're like, ah, where She's like, you know,
- 32:39Speaker 2: you just don't want your kids to leave because you
- 32:40Speaker 2: don't want to be alone.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that's stung you hear it.
- 32:44Speaker 2: But the problem is, yes, if I were to say
- 32:47Speaker 2: that to somebody.
- 32:49Speaker 4: It would be really like a low blow. But when
- 32:51Speaker 4: your sisters, you do say shit like that to each other.
- 32:55Speaker 3: But I mean, would you be upset if your child
- 32:57Speaker 3: went to your sister to talk about problems with you?
- 33:04Speaker 4: I can say this.
- 33:05Speaker 2: The last time that my sister was in town was
- 33:07Speaker 2: right before I went and did that television show in
- 33:11Speaker 2: Ireland and I had to leave last minute and she
- 33:14Speaker 2: was here and like she was upset with me, and
- 33:16Speaker 2: then she's like, I don't know how with kids you
- 33:19Speaker 2: can leave on a moment's notice and blah blah blah
- 33:21Speaker 2: and just figured out. And I remember getting really offended
- 33:25Speaker 2: by it and like taking it personally and being like,
- 33:28Speaker 2: who is she to judge?
- 33:29Speaker 4: What I'm gonna do to make money, you know.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Like, so I just think when it is your sister,
- 33:36Speaker 2: you just get sensitive about shit, And the same goes
- 33:40Speaker 2: in regards to her, like if I say something about
- 33:42Speaker 2: her kids, like there's just some things you had to
- 33:44Speaker 2: just do on your own, Like I if I really
- 33:47Speaker 2: have advice about one of my kids, I'm you're too
- 33:51Speaker 2: honest with your siblings, Like, maybe ask somebody else that
- 33:56Speaker 2: just wants to hear.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Event Well, there you have it. There you have it.
- 34:01Speaker 4: That is episode one and two.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I think it's only going to get more drama filled
- 34:07Speaker 2: as we see like.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Scenes for the rest of the season. But I'm like,
- 34:12Speaker 4: I liked it, you liked it. I liked it.
- 34:14Speaker 3: It's different, right, it's different now.
