- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry, Maggie. It's time for us to go
- 0:03Speaker 1: to God in prayer, and as always I invite you
- 0:07Speaker 1: to join along with me in prayer. And as we
- 0:10Speaker 1: are celebrating Mother's Day week, I can't help but think
- 0:15Speaker 1: about those spending Mother's Day without your child. Heaven, Father,
- 0:22Speaker 1: today we come before you with tender hearts, lifting up
- 0:26Speaker 1: every mother who is spending Mother's Day without her child. Lord,
- 0:31Speaker 1: this day is meant to be filled with joy, but
- 0:34Speaker 1: it can feel so heavy with absence, with memories, with longing.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You see God, every empty space, you see, every silent moment,
- 0:44Speaker 1: You see every tear that falls, both the ones that
- 0:47Speaker 1: are seen and the ones that are held inside. Oh Father, God,
- 0:52Speaker 1: draw near to her right now, Wrap her in your
- 0:56Speaker 1: presence in a way that is undeniable. When the egg
- 0:59Speaker 1: feels too deep for words, be her comfort. God. When
- 1:02Speaker 1: the memories come rushing in, both beautiful and painful, hold
- 1:06Speaker 1: her steady with your peace. Remind her that you are
- 1:10Speaker 1: close God to the broken hearted, that you gently care
- 1:13Speaker 1: for every part of her grief. Lord, for the mother
- 1:17Speaker 1: who has lost a child, we ask that you bring
- 1:20Speaker 1: comfort that only you can give. No word can replace
- 1:24Speaker 1: what's missing. But your presence can sustain her. God, surround
- 1:28Speaker 1: her with your love. Let her feel held even when Father, God,
- 1:33Speaker 1: she's over whelmed, even in her sorrow, You let her
- 1:37Speaker 1: feel close to you. Remind her God that her love
- 1:40Speaker 1: for her child still matters, that her motherhood is still real,
- 1:45Speaker 1: and that nothing, not even lost, can erase that bond. Father, God,
- 1:51Speaker 1: For the mother separated from her child by distance, by circumstances,
- 1:56Speaker 1: or by broken relationships, we ask that you step in
- 2:00Speaker 1: to the gap. God, bring peace where there's uncertainty, Bring
- 2:04Speaker 1: restoration where there has been strained, and where reconciliation is needed. God,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you began that work, Lord in your perfect time, and
- 2:12Speaker 1: you make it happen. God, strengthen her today, give her
- 2:15Speaker 1: the grace to make it through this day and the
- 2:18Speaker 1: days that follow. When she feels alone, Remind her that
- 2:22Speaker 1: she is seen when she feels for God, and remind
- 2:25Speaker 1: her that you remember her always. Let her know that
- 2:28Speaker 1: her tears are not wasted and that her pain is
- 2:31Speaker 1: not gone. Unknowticed God, Lord's in her moments of unexpected comfort,
- 2:36Speaker 1: a kind word, a gentle reminder of sense of your
- 2:39Speaker 1: presence that quiets the storms within her. Let her feel
- 2:43Speaker 1: supportive God, even if it's in small ways, and give
- 2:47Speaker 1: her permission God to grieve, to feel, and to process
- 2:51Speaker 1: without guilt or pressure bother. In time, bring healing to
- 2:55Speaker 1: a heart, not to erase the love or the memory,
- 2:59Speaker 1: but to help care with peace instead of pain. Restore
- 3:03Speaker 1: joy God in ways that she may not expect. Remind
- 3:06Speaker 1: her that her life still holds purpose. Remind her God
- 3:10Speaker 1: that her life still holds meaning. And remind her God
- 3:13Speaker 1: that her life still holds moments of beauty ahead. We
- 3:18Speaker 1: place her in your hands today. What her, the her
- 3:21Speaker 1: that's greeting, the her that's herving. Hold them gently, God
- 3:25Speaker 1: strengthened them quietly and loved them deeply in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen,
