- Welcome back, MyLearningSource Vendors. This is Zac Edwards with another episode of our MyLearningSource Resource Guide. We are just helping you out with everything, to know everything about MyLearningSource. We want to do this because we want to get you involved and be part of this community. Not just the vendors, but also the customers. Now, at the same time, just so everyone knows, this is more for a vendor, this one video is more for vendors, but customers, if you want, you can actually learn a little bit more about what we do as vendors in order to provide you with all this information. So, from there, I'm going to bring you into my dummy account. So in my dummy account, this would be like, this would be a vendor's portal. You'll be able to see all these different things. You can post blogs almost every day if you're a paid one. If you're not paid, if you're free-tiered, then you get to do it once a month, which is great because, I mean, we got plenty of blogs going through. Now, at the same time, you can also see what your customer interests are. You can actually create surveys in your profile. So when they go to your profile, you can actually ask them questions about what they're looking for. The next thing you can do is the marketing calendar. This is everything that's happening. This is, okay, we haven't done much about this one yet. This is more when the conventions are showing up. So you'll see all the different conventions, also some ESA things. We haven't updated this a little bit. I need to update it tomorrow. I will work on that. Now, we also have special discounts. So that's great. We have live webinars, which we did yesterday. So if you want to go in there and set up a live webinar, you can actually post it on our live webinar chat. So this is where a lot of the live webinars are coming in. And then going back to the portal for the vendors. Nope, this one? Okay. You have vendor network. Now, I'm going to do that one. That's why we're here. Just one second, though. You also have rewards, coin rewards. If you want to put a reward out there for your families that might be interested, they earn coins and they can get those rewards by earning coins. Again, we're doing this as a cooperative, as a group, but it also brings people together to say, hey, there's a $5 discount, $10 discount. I'm going to gather coins so I can do that. And by gathering coins, they actually work within the community to earn points and earn these coins to buy these things. Next one, oops, is actually our Facebook, or sorry, erase that. This is our social media for vendors and educators and also customers. This is a place where you have no algorithms. If you like Totally Medieval, see this Totally Medieval is up. If you like Totally Medieval, great. You're going to get the information as they have it. There's no algorithms. Not something to keep you online all the time. It's something to feed you information as you want it, because you only want it from person, or sorry, company A, B, and C. You also want it from co-ops D and F, and you want it from other friends on there. My friend, Bob, Joe, and Mary. So you can get all those people and everything they post, you get it on your live stream. It's not going to be, of course, you get into any of the other social media and they're going to feed you all this stuff that you never asked for. And why do they do that? Because they want to keep you on as long as possible. They make more money, the more time that you're on there. We don't. We actually don't want you on here any longer than you need to, to find what you need. So we want you to come in and be able to find what you need right away, and then go on with your day, not having to stay all day on screens, just like we don't want your kids on screens. It's also a great thing if we don't have to be on screens as adults. Okay, going back to what I was going to show off today, and then my listings is basically your profile. Now, what's important today is right here, the vendor network. We have a few more tabs we're going to be putting up there. This is our association. So families, if you ever want to start a tutoring company or such, and be part of the homeschooling community in the side of the vendors, tutors, therapists, vendors in the sense of supplies, services, curriculum, all those things, anything like that, join MyLearningSource, please. Now, if you join and pay for a membership, we want to give you an extra benefit. This is our H-E-A. Now, there's probably another H-E-A out there somewhere, but this is our Homeschool and Educators Association. This is where we bring you guys together as homeschoolers and other educators together to help you with your business. I'll show you how we do this. So right now we just added vendor network. This is where you can actually set up all different events that are happening. It's just vendors. So if you want to talk about ESAs and you want to get more information about it, great. Set up a meeting. Hopefully everyone joins on and they can all talk about all these different things. If you want to bring myself on, I'm in what, 20 something ESAs. I would love to speak to a group that wants to do that. So vendors, set up a time, email me. I will tell you when I can meet and I will lead a group like this. We also have some other people that are out there that want to lead things like this as well. People that do this for a living. Yes, they are coaches for homeschooling groups or homeschooling vendors. We want all those people in here. So we also have, I know a lot of you still go to conventions. These are the conventions of this year. Yeah, there's a lot of them. There's a good amount of vendors. There's their information. So you can click on them and see them. And then we have this calendar. Now, October, there's nothing happening with vendors. You go far enough in advance and you'll see them. If you want to add a convention, we have actually some convention companies joining on as well where they'll be able to add their conventions on here. Another tab, the ESAs. So if you want to get into an ESA, this is a great place to know it. You'd be able to see every date that's coming up in their calendar. So this is the 2006, 2007 calendar year. Most of them don't even know what's going on in 2007 after this school year. So I'll show you that. See, it goes up to August and it all stops because they haven't put their plans out. But if you want to be part of one of these programs, here's Arkansas, here's Florida, here's another one. Yeah, you can read through. These are all different programs that are different ESA programs. These are not always the same ones that you know of. So if you want to get more down into the nitty gritty, here are the actual ESA programs for each state, broken down into each state. Up above was just all the different scholarships and those type of programs up there. Sorry, I'm just getting over a cold. And come down here, it'll actually send you to the page you need to go in order to become an ESA member of that group or that program. So like Indiana has four different ones. Did you know that? Are you signed up for one or are you signed up for all of them? Iowa has three different ones. Kansas has one. Now Kansas, it's a little bit different. This is actually, it's a SOG, sorry, SGO, a Scholarship Granting Organization. It's not a state marketplace like a lot of the others, but it might be next year and we'll have that on here. Like Maine, Maine is not, but it does have a tutoring tuitioning program. Maryland, there are a lot of things on here that you probably never heard of. Nevada, you wouldn't find that normally. Go through this, find out which ones actually apply to you and sign up for them. This is all free information. Seriously, free information with membership. But you come in, you get so much information. This is like worth its weight in gold. Now it is digital, so it's not that heavy, but it's still worth a lot. And these are different co-ops and such that are in the states. Now, ones everyone knows about, Step Up For Students, that's the scholarship organization. Then we have AAA Scholarship Foundation. These are all scholarship programs. Down below are the Florida co-ops. I'll just show you what's in Florida so far. Yeah, I'm not gonna let you read it all. Again, it's free to those that pay for it. The free tier members, we want you to join on. So hopefully you'll be able to see this and want to learn a little bit more. So you can grow from our quote unquote association. And we're doing this because we're just trying to get you more information. We're trying to help you with your companies. But again, remember, we're all vendors. Every single one of us that's attached to this company or this organization is a vendor or a customer coming in as a customer, but everyone behind it is a vendor. And everyone is paying. If they're in this organization, they're paying for their own spot. And they're also, I'm gonna have to quit this soon because my voice is going out. They want to get their name out just as much as you want to get your name out. So we're all working together to do this together. So thanks so much for joining us on My Learning Source. Very soon, very soon, we're gonna be going out for interviews with different vendors. I hope you come back and hear some of those podcasts as well. Thank you so much for joining us and we will talk to you next time. Take care, y'all. Bye.
