- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, here we go, just getting things started on
- 0:04Speaker 2: this Wednesday morning. Thank you for starting it with us.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has your three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Savannah Guthrie has promised a million dollars as a reward
- 0:13Speaker 3: for bringing back her mother to her Savannah's mother, Nancy,
- 0:16Speaker 3: disappeared on February first, with little to no clues as
- 0:19Speaker 3: to her whereabouts. In Savannah's new video, she described the
- 0:23Speaker 3: weight as quote agony, and she said the family still
- 0:27Speaker 3: believes in a miracle and that the family just really
- 0:30Speaker 3: needs answers. She's begging for the person to just come forward.
- 0:34Speaker 3: The FBI had previously increased its reward to two hundred
- 0:37Speaker 3: thousand dollars, and in earlier videos, Savannah addresses suspected of
- 0:42Speaker 3: doctor directly saying, quote, it's never too late to do
- 0:46Speaker 3: the right thing. This is just an absolutely devastating story,
- 0:51Speaker 3: and I know that everybody's been kind of waiting to
- 0:53Speaker 3: see any updates about it. Hopefully they do get get
- 0:58Speaker 3: back to her mother. So we're all hoping for the
- 1:01Speaker 3: best for the Guthries and for their whole family and
- 1:05Speaker 3: for Nancy. Tennessee ranks among the top ten states with
- 1:10Speaker 3: where residents spend the most on groceries, according to a
- 1:13Speaker 3: recent wallet hub study. While at hub compared prices of
- 1:16Speaker 3: twenty six commonly purchased items across all fifty states and
- 1:20Speaker 3: then measured those totals against the state's median household income.
- 1:24Speaker 3: So Southern states ranked highest in grocery spending as a
- 1:27Speaker 3: share of income, led by Mississippi at number one. Tennessee
- 1:31Speaker 3: ranked it number ten on the list, and this does
- 1:34Speaker 3: not include the grocery tax in both Mississippi and Tennessee,
- 1:38Speaker 3: it's just the groceries. The states spending less on groceries
- 1:41Speaker 3: compared to the household income were New Jersey and Massachusetts.
- 1:46Speaker 3: And a new survey from the Pew Research Center shows
- 1:48Speaker 3: that more than half of teens are using AI for schoolwork.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Fifty four percent that they used AI chatbots to help
- 1:55Speaker 3: them with schoolwork, and twelve percent said that they used
- 1:57Speaker 3: it to get emotional support or advice. Just four and
- 2:01Speaker 3: ten parents say that they think that their teens are
- 2:04Speaker 3: using AI, and only fifty one percent think their teens
- 2:07Speaker 3: are using it for emotional support. So it seems like
- 2:11Speaker 3: they're not talking to their kids about AI and they're
- 2:14Speaker 3: not really doing what they need to do to kind
- 2:17Speaker 3: of make sure that they know what AI is. Yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 3: so that's just something to keep in mind if you're
- 2:21Speaker 3: a parent and you have kids, if you have teens,
- 2:24Speaker 3: they are using it, whether you think they are or not,
- 2:26Speaker 3: and maybe you should talk to them about it, just,
- 2:28Speaker 3: you know, quick little chat about what AI actually is.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 2:33Speaker 3: need to know.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Another thing to navigate as a parativity.
- 2:36Speaker 3: I can only imagine.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, thank you very much, Ricky.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Here's Taylor Swift. We do have these Hillary Duff tickets
- 2:42Speaker 2: on the way for the first caller. We've had these
- 2:43Speaker 2: all week.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Your chance to win them is on the way.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
- 2:51Speaker 4: seventy five the River.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Good morning, everybody, Thank you for starting your day with us.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Easton in Nolansville is on the line.
- 2:57Speaker 1: What's up, buddy, what's up? How are you?
- 2:59Speaker 5: Man?
- 3:00Speaker 3: How about you?
- 3:01Speaker 5: I'm good?
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah, no complaints over here.
- 3:03Speaker 5: What are you doing right now?
- 3:05Speaker 3: I'm getting ready for school and about to want my dog.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Easton. I have a question for you.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Do you ever lay your clothes out the night before
- 3:12Speaker 6: for school? Because I used to be so excited to
- 3:14Speaker 6: show off a new outfit, and I would.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Lay it out the night before. Do you ever do that?
- 3:18Speaker 3: No, because like whatever one's feeling in the morning, like
- 3:21Speaker 3: like say, like I'm feeling hippie or a country, I
- 3:24Speaker 3: can like I think about it, and I don't want
- 3:26Speaker 3: to just man has rained. He has rained. She doesn't
- 3:31Speaker 3: know how he's gonna feel in the morning. I like this.
- 3:34Speaker 3: That's how I kind of do my life. It's however
- 3:36Speaker 3: I'm feeling is what I decide to wear.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I still lay my out in the shape of myself
- 3:40Speaker 2: every night.
- 3:41Speaker 5: On the Guests, he.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Would Easton, what time do you have to be at school?
- 3:44Speaker 3: This is like early for like you to be up,
- 3:47Speaker 3: isn't it? Or is this normal for you?
- 3:49Speaker 7: Twenty seven twenty Dang, that's early.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You're very responsible up walking the dog. Not many kids
- 3:54Speaker 2: do that. They that responsibility falls to the parents most times.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Shout out to your mom.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Oh thank you.
- 4:02Speaker 7: It's a struggle for sure.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Well, Easton, I will say, I'm shocked that you want
- 4:08Speaker 3: to go see Hillary Duff, But I'm loving that you
- 4:11Speaker 3: want to go see Hillary Duff.
- 4:13Speaker 7: I like that person.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I like that you like her pecky. Okay, well, you're
- 4:18Speaker 3: the first color of the day on one of seven
- 4:20Speaker 3: five the River, So you're gonna takets to see her
- 4:22Speaker 3: at a send amphitheater on July thirtieth. Let's just as
- 4:26Speaker 3: the outdoor theater.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, it'll be It's gonna be a great show.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Hillary Duff is awesome. H Easton, thanks for calling, and Mom,
- 4:32Speaker 2: we hear you over there too. You guys have a
- 4:33Speaker 2: great day.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Absolutely, thank you.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Hang on the line. Okay, uh huh.
- 4:38Speaker 5: I like that person.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That's maybe my favorite review.
- 4:42Speaker 5: I'm gonna start responding with everything that way person.
- 4:45Speaker 3: But watch Easton's gonna know every single word and he's
- 4:48Speaker 3: going to be singing along to every Hillary Duff.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Song versu jesu.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Wait, we'll see about his outfit depends on if he's
- 4:54Speaker 6: feeling Hippi your country.
- 4:55Speaker 5: For the day.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh, I'm actually very excited to know what Easton wears
- 4:58Speaker 3: to Hillary Duff.
- 5:00Speaker 2: If you are a Hillary Duf fan, if you like
- 5:02Speaker 2: that person, you want to see her.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We have more of these tomorrow.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 5:10Speaker 2: All we know, Ricky and I, all we know is
- 5:11Speaker 2: that Zach has a business idea, and we're like his shark.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Are you laughing about this, Kevin?
- 5:18Speaker 3: You did? You did giggle a little bit, Kevin.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I don't know, Zach.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I'm excited to hear what you have to say.
- 5:23Speaker 6: I think it's a really good business idea, and I
- 5:25Speaker 6: just want to pass it by you and see how
- 5:26Speaker 6: you feel about it.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I'm going to wait to hear it before I start laughing.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I'm going to give you at least that, okay, fair.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Our version of shark tank. Do we sign off on
- 5:34Speaker 2: Zach's business idea. We're gonna find out next.
- 5:36Speaker 8: I don't know why you're still laughing, Ricky. Zach and
- 5:39Speaker 8: Mannow in the morning on the river, Zach.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Has a very important thing to tell us, apparently a
- 5:47Speaker 3: new business venture. It's where he's Zach and Mano in
- 5:50Speaker 3: the morning on one of seven five of the river.
- 5:52Speaker 3: He's pitching it to us, just what we think business idea,
- 5:55Speaker 3: to see how you feel about So you're not actually
- 5:58Speaker 3: like one hundred percent going in on this. It's just floating.
- 6:00Speaker 6: Around as I'm like ninety five percent positive that I
- 6:03Speaker 6: want to do it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, I'm a little nervous. I want to add because
- 6:06Speaker 3: I got a text from Zach late last night saying
- 6:09Speaker 3: that this is going to make me cry.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's such a good idea. Okay, I'm really confused.
- 6:16Speaker 5: I do not know what you expect.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You tell us what it is.
- 6:18Speaker 6: So I think I want to start a clothing line
- 6:21Speaker 6: and I want to call it two Things Can be True,
- 6:23Speaker 6: And so basically, like the brand is called two Things
- 6:26Speaker 6: Can be True, and you can put things on the
- 6:28Speaker 6: shirt like I like mustard, I like ketchup.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Two things can be true. You can like both.
- 6:33Speaker 6: And where it came from in my head is that
- 6:35Speaker 6: I wanted to make one of like we we are different,
- 6:38Speaker 6: we are kind two things can be true.
- 6:41Speaker 5: And it reminded me of.
- 6:42Speaker 6: This because I was at an event yesterday in Mount
- 6:44Speaker 6: Juliet and we met so many different listeners from different
- 6:48Speaker 6: backgrounds and different walks of life, and they were so
- 6:51Speaker 6: genuinely kind every single time that I met them, and
- 6:54Speaker 6: it was just like a really good reminder that everybody
- 6:57Speaker 6: is different, but yet you can still be kind to
- 6:59Speaker 6: each other even if a different I.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Like this idea and Kevin laughed about.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It before I thought it was gonna be like that
- 7:06Speaker 2: makes your bed or something.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I don't know know exactly. I just I wasn't sure
- 7:09Speaker 1: what you expect. This is from the heart. This is nice.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it was just like it was.
- 7:14Speaker 6: A very nice reminder that, like we can be different,
- 7:16Speaker 6: we can still be kind to each other. Because I
- 7:18Speaker 6: was genuinely shocked that, like everybody that I met was
- 7:21Speaker 6: so so nice, And it's just I want to help
- 7:24Speaker 6: people remind that that is still out there in the world.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Is we can still be kind to each other. So
- 7:29Speaker 6: I'm thinking about starting the clothing brand. If two things
- 7:31Speaker 6: can be true.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Do it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I like this.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Okay, so we're in. We're in.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I mean, we're in in the supporting you way. I
- 7:40Speaker 3: don't want no money, Like I'm super excited for you.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I'll repost your things on social media.
- 7:48Speaker 5: That's that's worth a lot of money.
- 7:50Speaker 3: It is. It is, thank you.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Well, it's cool man, Good luck with it. I mean now, yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 2: now the idea is out there. You got to get
- 7:57Speaker 2: a trademark or a patent or something real quick.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Well, I feel like it's already on tape stuff. Somebody
- 8:00Speaker 5: steals it. I can prove that I said it first.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It is.
- 8:03Speaker 2: What's the day today? Wednesday? February twenty fifth, twenty twenty six.
- 8:06Speaker 2: There's no way anybody could fabricate audio.
- 8:09Speaker 1: This is real, this happen.
- 8:10Speaker 3: I do very much like the idea of though, Zach.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I think it's very cute.
- 8:14Speaker 6: I thought it was very sweet, and I was like,
- 8:15Speaker 6: oh my god, I've always wanted like a clothing brand,
- 8:17Speaker 6: and it's the perfect way to do it.
- 8:19Speaker 3: And also shout out to our listeners because we always
- 8:21Speaker 3: say that we have the best people that listen to
- 8:23Speaker 3: the Shoe too, and you are all every single time
- 8:26Speaker 3: we meet anybody, so kind and so fun and we
- 8:30Speaker 3: rave about you constantly.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so look, guys, and cool idea is Zach. I'm
- 8:33Speaker 2: gonna probably wear one of those shirts, buddy, Sorry for long.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Three things you need to know.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yes, good morning, good to see you, thank you for
- 8:41Speaker 1: being here. Just after seven o'clock. Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Sometimes I malfunction.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Go ahead, Ricky, Oh Boy.
- 8:53Speaker 4: No.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Twenty six Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees have
- 8:56Speaker 3: been announced. Some of them on the list are all Right, Carrie, Shakira,
- 9:02Speaker 3: Wu Tang Clan, Oasis, and Lauren Hill. There are other
- 9:06Speaker 3: additions like Luther Van Drass, Phil Collins and Melissa Ethridge,
- 9:12Speaker 3: who many consider are long overdue. These nominees are long overdue,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and they will see who they will pick. I will
- 9:18Speaker 3: keep you updated. IKEA's released their new twenty twenty six locations,
- 9:23Speaker 3: and they're going to be closer to Nashville than ever before.
- 9:26Speaker 3: So it used to be that Memphis was the only
- 9:28Speaker 3: Tennessee location, which is about three hours from Nashville, but
- 9:32Speaker 3: that spot is closing in May of this year unfortunately,
- 9:35Speaker 3: and Ikea announced ten new locations. There won't be another
- 9:38Speaker 3: one in Nashville or in Tennessee, but they're opening one
- 9:42Speaker 3: in Huntsville, Alabama, which is closer. So now we will
- 9:46Speaker 3: have the pick up location in Antioch and a full
- 9:48Speaker 3: store about two hours away. No word yet though on
- 9:51Speaker 3: the opening dates for the Huntsville location just yet. That's
- 9:54Speaker 3: another thing that I'll have to keep you updated on.
- 9:56Speaker 3: And I got some great news for cheese lovers. Okay.
- 10:00Speaker 3: They did a twenty five year Swedish study on eating cheese,
- 10:03Speaker 3: and they found that eating fifty grams of high fat
- 10:06Speaker 3: cheese a day, like cheddar gouda or brie, was linked
- 10:11Speaker 3: to a thirteen percent lower risk of dementia and a
- 10:14Speaker 3: twenty nine percent lower risk of vascular dementia, so that's
- 10:18Speaker 3: really good stuff. Fans of heavy cream will also be
- 10:22Speaker 3: happy to hear that at least twenty grams a day
- 10:25Speaker 3: is tied to a sixteen percent lower risk of dementia.
- 10:29Speaker 3: But just like all good things, there's a twist, of course.
- 10:31Speaker 3: You know, the brain only benefits from high fat cheese
- 10:34Speaker 3: and creams. So that's not milk, that's not yogurt, it's
- 10:37Speaker 3: not butter or low fat dairy, the things that you're
- 10:39Speaker 3: used to kind of consuming every day. It's high fat ones.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Researcher stress that the study shows an association, it's not
- 10:46Speaker 3: like one hundred percent proof, and it may be influenced
- 10:49Speaker 3: by regional eating habits things like that, but it's just
- 10:54Speaker 3: somebody to keep in mind for your health's journey.
- 10:56Speaker 1: We'll take a bite debris every day.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Ambrigy Sanchas and those are the three things you know
- 11:00Speaker 3: to know.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky, you made it through that
- 11:02Speaker 2: like a champion. Right after olivyad we're gonna learn it's
- 11:08Speaker 2: time for zax Facks. Three minutes away on the river.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Class is in Sessions Sacks fact on.
- 11:17Speaker 6: This is gonna sound so dumb, but did you guys
- 11:19Speaker 6: know that baby carrots are not young carrots?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:25Speaker 3: What is it today?
- 11:28Speaker 6: Apparently they're just big, ugly, full sized carrots that are
- 11:31Speaker 6: shaved down to look cute. They're like full sized carrots
- 11:34Speaker 6: that they cut down to look cute. But when you
- 11:36Speaker 6: see baby carrots, you think it's like, I don't know
- 11:38Speaker 6: that's how they're grown.
- 11:39Speaker 5: I don't think any of carrots.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I think it's the ugly ones that they don't want
- 11:42Speaker 2: to put on shelves because nobody would buy them. They
- 11:44Speaker 2: they saw them down into little baby carrots.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Yep, that's fact.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm sure they're always soaking wet.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Okay, we're getting off.
- 11:52Speaker 5: That's a fair question.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Why make that your back tomorrow?
- 11:57Speaker 5: Okay, great, there's your.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Fact of the day today, brought to you by Mark Sweed, Realistic, Ricky,
- 12:02Speaker 3: Zach and Menno in the morning on over here reminiscing
- 12:06Speaker 3: in the one oh seven five the River Studio because
- 12:08Speaker 3: we're talking about the reasons we love to go to
- 12:10Speaker 3: our friend's house as a kid. This all started because
- 12:13Speaker 3: Kevin's kids hate the snacks that they have, so they
- 12:16Speaker 3: like go into the friend's houses to eat their snacks.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a thousand percent true. We don't have any
- 12:21Speaker 2: things that kids would want to eat.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Well, both not even adults, because both Zach and I
- 12:25Speaker 3: have been there and not liked the snacks.
- 12:28Speaker 5: You're literally the sugar police. There's nothing fun in there.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be fun. It's good for you.
- 12:33Speaker 3: You need nutrient and stuf big pantry too, and you're like, ooh,
- 12:37Speaker 3: there's gonna be something good in here, and there is
- 12:39Speaker 3: nothing good.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Can you find rice cakes?
- 12:42Speaker 3: And not even like the fun rice cakes, the one
- 12:44Speaker 3: that had no flavor to them whatsoever.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Kevin Miser, no argument whatsoever. It's all true because it's
- 12:52Speaker 1: all true.
- 12:52Speaker 5: So we're asking what.
- 12:53Speaker 1: The neighbors have that you didn't have, why you wanted
- 12:55Speaker 1: to go to that all.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Have something like that from when we were kids, Like
- 12:58Speaker 3: for me, I loved going to my one friend's house
- 13:00Speaker 3: because she had Dance Dance Revolution. Oh.
- 13:03Speaker 5: I remember a DDR that was a bop.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It was so much fun and we would play it
- 13:07Speaker 3: for hours, but it was an expensive like gaming, like
- 13:11Speaker 3: you had to have VI system and then the thing
- 13:12Speaker 3: that hooks up to the gaming system. So like the
- 13:14Speaker 3: fact that she had it We only wanted to go
- 13:16Speaker 3: to our house to play d.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Dr because you getting a little exercise too, you know,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you're moving your body.
- 13:20Speaker 3: It's good spoken like the true parent who wouldn't have
- 13:23Speaker 3: any sugar in his house. Yeah, why did you like
- 13:26Speaker 3: going to your friend's house?
- 13:26Speaker 6: And I will say my neighbor growing up, so I
- 13:28Speaker 6: grew up in a Mount Juliet. Her name was Lindsay
- 13:30Speaker 6: Russell High Lindsay. She literally had a trampoline, and I
- 13:34Speaker 6: thought it was the coolest thing on the planet that
- 13:37Speaker 6: I thought so cool trampoline. So we would always go
- 13:41Speaker 6: over just to jump on the trampoline after school.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Did it have like the cage around it?
- 13:45Speaker 5: Or open?
- 13:47Speaker 3: The ones that are free and open? So much more dangerous.
- 13:49Speaker 3: We should not be talking about this way, but so
- 13:52Speaker 3: much more fun, so much dangerous.
- 13:54Speaker 1: My heart has a dad again. My heart stopped beating
- 13:56Speaker 1: when he said it was cage three.
- 13:59Speaker 5: I don't like it.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Six one five, seven, three seven nine one O seven
- 14:02Speaker 2: What do the neighbors have that you were just so
- 14:05Speaker 2: jealous of you go over to their house to take
- 14:07Speaker 2: advantage of it?
- 14:07Speaker 5: Let us know?
- 14:08Speaker 8: One O seven five The River Ricky Zach and meadow
- 14:12Speaker 8: in the morning.
- 14:12Speaker 2: We're asking why you would love to go to your
- 14:15Speaker 2: friend's house when you were a kid.
- 14:16Speaker 1: What did they have that you didn't have at your house?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Tommy and Murphy's burrow is on the line. First of all,
- 14:21Speaker 1: how old are you? Tommy ten?
- 14:23Speaker 5: Ten?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Okay, I have kids that are nine and seven, so
- 14:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna try not to talk to you like a dad.
- 14:28Speaker 1: But here we go. What do your friends have that
- 14:30Speaker 1: you you don't have?
- 14:31Speaker 7: Oh a PS five?
- 14:33Speaker 3: You have games that you like to play on the
- 14:34Speaker 3: PS five when you go over to your friend's house.
- 14:37Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you were at school, so you're sidetrack.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, distracted, okay, trying to run you to school. We
- 14:48Speaker 3: love you, Bye bye, guys, We love you too.
- 14:53Speaker 8: One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Meadow
- 14:56Speaker 8: in the morning.
- 14:57Speaker 3: You're so, so so excited. What are seventy five The
- 15:00Speaker 3: Rivers throwing a Harry Styles album release party on the
- 15:03Speaker 3: General Jackson show Boat. It's called the Harry Fairy. You
- 15:07Speaker 3: like what we did there. It's gonna be a whole
- 15:09Speaker 3: night celebrating new Harry Styles music and everything Harry Styles related.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And somebody who gets on the Harry Fairy is gonna
- 15:16Speaker 3: win a trip for two to New York City to
- 15:18Speaker 3: see Harry Styles at Madison Square Artist.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It's such a massive thing we have to give away.
- 15:22Speaker 2: If you want to be there, if you want to
- 15:23Speaker 2: be a part of this, if you want to be
- 15:25Speaker 2: in the running to win that trip to New York,
- 15:27Speaker 2: you call us after you hear the audio clue. The
- 15:29Speaker 2: game we're playing this week, inspired by mister Harry Styles
- 15:32Speaker 2: is wrong direction. Harry famously in one direction, so we
- 15:37Speaker 2: have taken one direction. Songs were reversed them.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We're playing in the back.
- 15:40Speaker 2: If you can identify the song, call us, tell us
- 15:43Speaker 2: what it is you're gonna be at the Harry Fairy.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I will say, I think this one might be the
- 15:46Speaker 2: easiest of the week. Let's see how you guys are
- 15:48Speaker 2: hopefully right? Here we go, Here we go, you think, guys,
- 16:01Speaker 2: I know that immediately.
- 16:03Speaker 3: It took a second for me, but I got it. Yes.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Well, now is when you start calling six one, five, seven, three, seven,
- 16:08Speaker 2: nine seven.
- 16:12Speaker 3: We've got more ways into our Harry Ferry. That's what
- 16:16Speaker 3: we're calling our Harry Styles album release party on the
- 16:18Speaker 3: General Jackson Showboats. Everybody here at one O seven five.
- 16:21Speaker 3: The river is so excited for this, So your way
- 16:24Speaker 3: in is to play Kevin Manner's Game of the Day,
- 16:26Speaker 3: presented by Genesis Diamonds. We're playing wrong Direction. We've been
- 16:29Speaker 3: playing all week the idea here is a one direction
- 16:32Speaker 3: song backwards.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gone in the wrong direction. Ashley and Springfield,
- 16:36Speaker 2: good morning. How are you on this Wednesday?
- 16:38Speaker 9: I'm doing good?
- 16:39Speaker 4: How are you all?
- 16:39Speaker 5: We're good?
- 16:40Speaker 1: What are you doing? You're heading to work?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:42Speaker 9: I just jump my kids off and now I'm going
- 16:44Speaker 9: back home from home.
- 16:45Speaker 1: You heard the audio clue. We'll play it one more
- 16:47Speaker 1: time for you and then it's your turn. The floor
- 16:50Speaker 1: is yours. Tell us what song that is?
- 16:51Speaker 8: Here?
- 16:51Speaker 1: We go.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Definitely the easiest one we've had all week in our opinion.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Ashley and Springfield, go ahead. What song is that?
- 17:08Speaker 9: I think it's what makes you Beautiful?
- 17:12Speaker 8: Yes?
- 17:12Speaker 3: Lead, Congratulations. It's gonna be a whole night of celebrating
- 17:19Speaker 3: everything Harry Styles. And since you're gonna be on the
- 17:22Speaker 3: Harry Fairy, you have a chance to win a trip
- 17:24Speaker 3: for two to New York City to see him at
- 17:27Speaker 3: Madison Square Garden.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a huge deal. Thank you for listening,
- 17:31Speaker 2: Thank you for calling and playing the game. Congratulations, We're
- 17:33Speaker 2: gonna put you on.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Hold for a minute.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Okay, Hi, thank you.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Jonathan still has more opportunities to win your way on
- 17:39Speaker 2: to our Harry Fairy five forty five this afternoon, and
- 17:42Speaker 2: then of course we're playing this game again tomorrow at
- 17:45Speaker 2: seven forty five.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Hope you'll win three things.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You need to thank you so much for.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Starting this Wednesday with us. It's just past eight o'clock here.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Punch the Monkey has taken the Internet by storm. Everybody
- 17:58Speaker 3: is obsessed with him. He's just so sweet. If you
- 18:01Speaker 3: don't know who he is, I'm gonna post a video
- 18:03Speaker 3: of him on one oh seven five the River's Instagram
- 18:05Speaker 3: account and the story so you can see him. But
- 18:07Speaker 3: not only has Punch become a huge obsession, but the
- 18:12Speaker 3: stuffy that he has is also a new obsession. It's
- 18:16Speaker 3: from Ikea and it's officially sold out pretty much everywhere.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So Punch the Monkey went viral recently after he was
- 18:22Speaker 3: abandoned by his mom and he only had the company
- 18:26Speaker 3: of one thing, and it's this Ikea stuffed monkey. It's
- 18:30Speaker 3: actually a stuffed orangutang. But because of that and because
- 18:34Speaker 3: of the obsession that everybody has with him and his
- 18:35Speaker 3: obsession with the orangutang. This twenty dollars plushy like this
- 18:40Speaker 3: Little Stuffy has sold out online in the United States, Japan,
- 18:44Speaker 3: and South Korea. People are reselling them for three hundred
- 18:47Speaker 3: and fifty dollars on third party selling sites. So if
- 18:51Speaker 3: you want one, it's a huge markup and people are
- 18:54Speaker 3: paying it, paying it because we are all in love
- 18:57Speaker 3: with Punch the monkey and we just want him to
- 18:58Speaker 3: be happy. Videos of him have gone nuts online. Everyone's
- 19:01Speaker 3: following along with his journey of trying to now fit
- 19:04Speaker 3: in in this new zoo that is taking him in
- 19:07Speaker 3: with his hopefully new friends. There's been a lot of
- 19:10Speaker 3: drama surrounding Punch and his quote unquote new friends and
- 19:13Speaker 3: if he's going to get along with all of them.
- 19:15Speaker 3: And the one thing that we know for sure is
- 19:18Speaker 3: that he always has that little stuffy with him.
- 19:20Speaker 1: What a gift, iikia. This is marketing seally.
- 19:23Speaker 2: You can't buy this sort of marketing all just you know,
- 19:26Speaker 2: by chance.
- 19:27Speaker 3: So if you want a plushy that Punch as, you
- 19:30Speaker 3: better have a nice chunk of savings saved away for it.
- 19:34Speaker 3: The gulch is getting a new to loom inspired rooftop
- 19:37Speaker 3: called CoA. The name refers to a CoA dehima, which
- 19:42Speaker 3: is a tool used to harvest a gave for tequila
- 19:45Speaker 3: and mescal, which totally makes sense and is very fitting
- 19:47Speaker 3: because it's going to be the largest agave, tequila and
- 19:50Speaker 3: mescal selection that you can find in Middle Tennessee. I
- 19:53Speaker 3: know that makes you really excited, Kevin, is you love tequila?
- 19:58Speaker 3: So you can find it atop the new Hannopy by
- 20:00Speaker 3: Hilton in the Gulch. They plan to open on March six,
- 20:03Speaker 3: so next Friday, really fast, it's coming right up. I'm
- 20:07Speaker 3: really excited to see it because it's supposed to be
- 20:08Speaker 3: super like tropical vibes, like very cozy touloom Mexico. That
- 20:14Speaker 3: sounds so funny kind of rooftop vibes. I'm really pumped
- 20:17Speaker 3: about it. So March six is when they open. Check
- 20:19Speaker 3: it out when you get a chance. And the cottage
- 20:21Speaker 3: from Heated Rivalry is up on Airbnb, So starting on Monday,
- 20:26Speaker 3: the cottage that's featured in the last and final episode
- 20:28Speaker 3: of Heated Rivalry will be available to rent for one
- 20:31Speaker 3: hundred and eighty one dollars a night plus the cleaning fee,
- 20:35Speaker 3: which is actually quite the steel because it's huge. It's
- 20:37Speaker 3: four hundred feet of private waterfront. It's got a gym,
- 20:41Speaker 3: state of the art entertainment, all sorts of stuff. The
- 20:44Speaker 3: house is formerly known as the Barluckin Cottage. It's about
- 20:48Speaker 3: two hours north of Toronto. You can rent it starting Monday.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and the things you need to know.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I've never seen anybody google something as fast as acted
- 20:56Speaker 2: during that story.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Oh.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I literally was like, I have to do a stunning hold.
- 21:01Speaker 8: One O seven five, Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Have you ever let a coin toss decide your fate
- 21:08Speaker 3: on something? It's one of seven five the river. And
- 21:11Speaker 3: I saw this crazy stat that, according to a poll
- 21:14Speaker 3: of two thousand adults, half of them have flipped a
- 21:18Speaker 3: coin to settle every day disputes or by making choices,
- 21:22Speaker 3: so they just leave it up to fate.
- 21:23Speaker 5: I mean, it does make sense.
- 21:25Speaker 6: I've done it one time for dinner if like, do
- 21:27Speaker 6: we want euros or Mexican and then we would flip
- 21:29Speaker 6: the coin just to see what we would do for
- 21:31Speaker 6: dinner and say of having to talk about it for
- 21:33Speaker 6: thirty more minutes.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Ray so Zach's done it before.
- 21:35Speaker 2: It's like the most perfect way of just cutting it
- 21:38Speaker 2: down the middle, you know what I mean?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Fifty to fifty all right?
- 21:40Speaker 3: Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 21:43Speaker 3: If you've ever let a coin toss decide your fate
- 21:45Speaker 3: on something, we want to know what it was. Yeah,
- 21:47Speaker 3: I'm kind of hoping it's like some big decisions too.
- 21:50Speaker 5: I would love it if we break up or not.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Fack, it always goes to break up a big decision,
- 21:56Speaker 3: My god.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Six, let us know.
- 22:00Speaker 8: The river, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning, Kristin.
- 22:04Speaker 1: In Nashville is on the line. Kristin, we shared a
- 22:07Speaker 1: stat a minute ago.
- 22:08Speaker 2: According to a pool of two thousand ad olds, half
- 22:10Speaker 2: of all adults have flipped a coin to settle, you know,
- 22:13Speaker 2: every day disputes.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And I'm guessing that's why you're calling. Have you done this?
- 22:17Speaker 4: Yes?
- 22:17Speaker 1: Yes, I have.
- 22:18Speaker 9: When I was nineteen years old, I was in Louisiana
- 22:22Speaker 9: and I wanted to move between Nashville and New York,
- 22:25Speaker 9: and I flipped a coin to determine where I ended.
- 22:28Speaker 3: That whoa, and you ended up here in Nashville.
- 22:30Speaker 8: I did?
- 22:31Speaker 6: Do you ever like regret flipping the coin, Like, do
- 22:34Speaker 6: you wish that you moved to New York instead?
- 22:37Speaker 7: No?
- 22:37Speaker 9: Okay, that in New York City you had a lot
- 22:40Speaker 9: of roommates.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Ye that, Kristin. How many years have you been here now?
- 22:46Speaker 7: Twenty two?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Amazing?
- 22:48Speaker 5: You're basically a local.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, she's definitely a local. She's not a native,
- 22:52Speaker 3: but she's a local.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you're a local native, but you're basically a native
- 22:57Speaker 6: to this point, that's.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Wild to me to leave such an enormous thing up
- 23:01Speaker 2: to chance like that, Like that would have determined the
- 23:03Speaker 2: entire outcome.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Of your life, you know, just a flip of a coin.
- 23:06Speaker 9: It did, and I moved alone.
- 23:08Speaker 7: It was just me wow wow.
- 23:10Speaker 3: But wait it worked, so like that's amazing it did. Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Okay, so maybe everybody's onto something. Maybe flip a coin
- 23:18Speaker 3: next time you need to make a big decision.
- 23:20Speaker 5: I'm excited about this.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Zaxsony flipping coins left and right for everything else. Thanks
- 23:27Speaker 3: for calling in, Kristen, have a great day. Thank you, Filo,
- 23:31Speaker 3: Thank you April and Hendersonville. What did you flip a
- 23:34Speaker 3: coin for.
- 23:35Speaker 7: My wedding date?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Oh?
- 23:38Speaker 7: So we put all of the months in a hat
- 23:40Speaker 7: and what pulled one month out and that's what we
- 23:43Speaker 7: went with and zipped me in October. So then we
- 23:45Speaker 7: looked at the calendar and we're like, okay, these two
- 23:48Speaker 7: days aren't going to work. They're too close to Halloween.
- 23:50Speaker 7: So we had the seventh and the fourteenth left, and
- 23:53Speaker 7: we flipped the coin hits was one and I don't
- 23:57Speaker 7: remember which was which, and it ended up being the fourteenth.
- 24:00Speaker 7: So we got married October.
- 24:01Speaker 5: And how many years have you guys been married?
- 24:04Speaker 7: We will be twenty years together or twenty years this year,
- 24:07Speaker 7: and then we've been together twenty six woa coragulations?
- 24:12Speaker 3: Ye, well, thank you?
- 24:14Speaker 7: Shall we think their wedding date because we didn't care, like,
- 24:17Speaker 7: we're just like, okay, we're gonna get married, cool, whatever,
- 24:20Speaker 7: And then everybody's like, well when are the best getting married?
- 24:22Speaker 7: We're like, I don't know. And then we're like, okay,
- 24:23Speaker 7: we've got to decide something. So we just put all
- 24:26Speaker 7: twelve months in the hat, pulled one out, and then
- 24:28Speaker 7: we went from there.
- 24:29Speaker 5: I love all that.
- 24:30Speaker 2: See, these are like small mundane things. These are huge
- 24:33Speaker 2: decisions and you leave it up to the coin. Thank
- 24:35Speaker 2: you for sharing that with us.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Afer.
- 24:36Speaker 1: We appreciate it and congrats.
- 24:38Speaker 9: You're welcome.
- 24:39Speaker 7: Hi, guys.
- 24:40Speaker 2: My problem with the coin I get whenever we flip
- 24:42Speaker 2: it once, I always want to go, okay, two out
- 24:45Speaker 2: of three? You know, I can't just do the one now,
- 24:49Speaker 2: just like let it go do it.
- 24:50Speaker 3: The first time rolling ken No, I let the world
- 24:54Speaker 3: decide some things for you.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I think I just like games so much that, like,
- 24:57Speaker 1: once there's one.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Flip, I want to do it too competitive.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I just want to keep playing the game. It's fun.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Flipping a coin's fun.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 25:06Speaker 9: On the river.
- 25:08Speaker 3: It's one O seven five the river, and we are
- 25:10Speaker 3: all learning that a lot of people flip coins to
- 25:13Speaker 3: decide their feet on something, some of which are really
- 25:16Speaker 3: big decisions. Yeah, Kim and levinon what did you flip
- 25:20Speaker 3: a coin for?
- 25:21Speaker 9: We put the coin to see if we were going
- 25:23Speaker 9: to name our boy Evan or.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Jack whoa okay, were either of them like family names?
- 25:29Speaker 5: Were you leaning toward one.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Or the other?
- 25:32Speaker 9: My maiden name is Evan, so I wanted Evan and
- 25:37Speaker 9: actually I lost, So we did do.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Q out of three. Kim, You're just like Kevin.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly who ended up winning in the end.
- 25:47Speaker 9: Oh do you think.
- 25:50Speaker 5: That's what I like to hear? I feel like, honestly,
- 25:52Speaker 5: to make it easier.
- 25:53Speaker 6: In my mind, I would have been like, Okay, whatever
- 25:55Speaker 6: one wins is going to be the first name, the
- 25:57Speaker 6: other one is going to be the middle name.
- 25:58Speaker 9: So it would have been like Evan jack his name
- 26:02Speaker 9: is actually Evan Jackson. He did okay one, but I
- 26:06Speaker 9: wanted him to be called.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I mean, was there any chance you were going to
- 26:10Speaker 2: lose this battle? Like you guys would have just it
- 26:12Speaker 2: would have gone to three out of five and then
- 26:14Speaker 2: like you would have just kept going.
- 26:18Speaker 5: I like it, Caim, I like it.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Thank you so much for sharing that with us.
- 26:23Speaker 9: Absolutely have a good day too.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So the coin is really just like performative, like she
- 26:28Speaker 2: was just pretending to well.
- 26:30Speaker 6: I mean, I feel like a lot of people do
- 26:31Speaker 6: that in relationships, where they try and make their significant
- 26:34Speaker 6: other feel like they have an option even though they don't.
- 26:37Speaker 3: It works for people. Okay, stop looking at me.
- 26:43Speaker 8: It's the river Ricky Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Sometimes Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning. On one
- 26:51Speaker 3: of seven five, the river kind of turns into a
- 26:53Speaker 3: vent sash for one of us. This time it's it's
- 26:56Speaker 3: Kevin's vent sash of being a parent, and it's all
- 26:59Speaker 3: tied back to the tap we're gonna.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Play for you. Go ahead, Kevin Well.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I actually this just reminded me.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I have to go to my son's classroom for an
- 27:06Speaker 2: hour later today while they build some sort of horse
- 27:08Speaker 2: out of cardboards.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I don't know, but I have to do that work today.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:12Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I'm teaching.
- 27:15Speaker 1: All the parents can relate to this Today's daily double tip.
- 27:18Speaker 10: Hi, parents, really exciting news. This Thursday, at one pm
- 27:23Speaker 10: you're invited to come to your child's classroom to hug
- 27:25Speaker 10: and kiss and maybe even tickle them while they take
- 27:28Speaker 10: two popsicle sticks together. Now, I know this may not
- 27:30Speaker 10: sound like an important event, but I do promise you
- 27:33Speaker 10: that if you are the parent that doesn't come, your
- 27:34Speaker 10: child is going to feel like you don't love them.
- 27:36Speaker 10: And I know you may be thinking, well, Thursday one
- 27:39Speaker 10: pm is a really important meeting that I have and
- 27:42Speaker 10: it's part of the job that I do to support
- 27:44Speaker 10: my family. And trust me, I get it. I'm missing
- 27:46Speaker 10: my kids thing at Thursday at one pm because I'll
- 27:48Speaker 10: be teaching your kid, but it's part of the sacrifice
- 27:51Speaker 10: that we make as teachers. Anyway, I look forward to
- 27:54Speaker 10: seeing you all Thursday at one and if not, I
- 27:56Speaker 10: really hope you enjoyed the popsicle sticks sculpture that your
- 27:59Speaker 10: kid made with someone else's parents.
- 28:02Speaker 2: How many days a week do I have to leave
- 28:04Speaker 2: early to get to the kids' school?
- 28:06Speaker 3: So many days? And the most confusing thing to me
- 28:09Speaker 3: is that almost every time it's oh, my kids getting
- 28:11Speaker 3: an award. How many awards do they have? They're giving
- 28:14Speaker 3: them out awards for breathings? What is happening?
- 28:19Speaker 6: I will say, I will say it does remind me
- 28:21Speaker 6: of like when I was in school and my mom
- 28:23Speaker 6: was like raising us as a single parent, and it
- 28:27Speaker 6: was very hard for her to get to all of
- 28:29Speaker 6: the things that we had to do.
- 28:31Speaker 3: My parents were almost never at anything because they both worked.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Yeah well again, yes, so I was always like judging
- 28:41Speaker 6: that they had like healthy, happy families, and I was like, oh,
- 28:45Speaker 6: now I'm just that poor kid in the corner.
- 28:47Speaker 3: NOA, we want to feel bad for you. But honestly,
- 28:51Speaker 3: Kevin just made a solid point my life.
- 28:58Speaker 8: Ricky, Zach and Manow in the Morning
