Speaker 1: So the old Western Springs and Auckland for those who know,
• 0:02
Speaker 1: a big battle going on between the XABS over who
• 0:05
Speaker 1: will take control of it. You know what will happen
• 0:08
Speaker 1: to it, what will the future of it? Best? You've
• 0:09
Speaker 1: got this morning, Sir Brian Williams coming out with his
• 0:12
Speaker 1: vision for a community solution. So you're looking at a
• 0:15
Speaker 1: five to eight thousand six stadium that could cater for
• 0:18
Speaker 1: club sport, school finals, competitions, your community tournaments, all that
• 0:22
Speaker 1: kind of stuff. Nice stuff. And then you've got on
• 0:25
Speaker 1: the other side, over a very high fence, you've got
• 0:28
Speaker 1: Allie Williams and his crew and they are promising twenty
• 0:32
Speaker 1: five thousand capacity concert venue, eight indoor basketball courts, indoor
• 0:36
Speaker 1: six paddle courts, four outdoor training fields, five hospitality establishments.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: That's how they make their money. So your coffee while
• 0:44
Speaker 1: you're watching that sport and three hundred million dollar price tag.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: But it's all privately funded, Brian, bless you. But the
• 0:51
Speaker 1: council will have to pay for that, won't they. So
• 0:54
Speaker 1: whose side are you on? Twenty after five Brian Bridge
• 0:57
Speaker 1: Andrew Ordison here was fought. Good morning Greeting's right? Which
• 1:00
Speaker 1: side of the fence?
• 1:01
Speaker 2: Would you say, geez, well, hard to go past b G.
• 1:04
Speaker 2: To be honest, he's a wily character.
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I.
• 1:08
Speaker 2: Tte your point though, Yeah, yeah, just this year numbers
• 1:11
Speaker 2: et cetera. Yeah, always got a lot of backing in
• 1:14
Speaker 2: that part of the world.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: He does, he does and he's a great man. So
• 1:17
Speaker 1: from the FC, they've had a win, great and it's
• 1:20
Speaker 1: it's second leg to come.
• 1:22
Speaker 2: Yep, so one up literally over over Melbourn victory. So yeah,
• 1:27
Speaker 2: coming to back to Auckland for this speaking the year
• 1:31
Speaker 2: that the Eli Williams et cetera, and that the band
• 1:33
Speaker 2: with the Eakland FC. What I mean could the season
• 1:37
Speaker 2: continues to go for strength to strength, almost took it
• 1:39
Speaker 2: to nil. I think that Marino strike just late in
• 1:41
Speaker 2: the game hit both goalposts and abounded away. But yeah,
• 1:46
Speaker 2: the Logan Rogers is striking the sixty fourth minute that
• 1:49
Speaker 2: was enough to take them through. So yeah, it's they're
• 1:52
Speaker 2: just that one game away from making the Grand Paint and.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: It's points across both games as yeah.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, so home and away and then establish with you
• 2:00
  Speaker 2: you go.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Through hopefully we'll get to the final one of the
• 2:02
Speaker 1: Pacificas beading the Blues, that was quite cool.
• 2:05
  Speaker 2: I just think that's that's what makes the rugby, that's
• 2:08
Speaker 2: what makes the competition. If you like this. It's just
• 2:10
Speaker 2: so long that we've been waiting for this, for this
• 2:12
Speaker 2: to happen, and that's just I think it's wonderful for
• 2:15
Speaker 2: the sport as a whole. Ardie Savy, who is always
• 2:17
Speaker 2: already the player of the season for Super Rugby as
• 2:20
Speaker 2: a result of the voting process, but just leading them
• 2:23
Speaker 2: from the front end. Gee, they were they were a
• 2:26
Speaker 2: compelling watch, right, I just thought. And to beat the
• 2:28
Speaker 2: Blues defending champions just an in Auckland contest as it
• 2:33
Speaker 2: was in North Harbor there. But what are remarkable showing
• 2:36
Speaker 2: from wider pacifica so into the top six into the
• 2:39
Speaker 2: playoff spots, beating the Blues out for the time being,
• 2:41
Speaker 2: Blues with the buy this week and then into the
• 2:44
  Speaker 2: final round and.
• 2:45
Speaker 1: My parents staying with me on the weekend and Dad
• 2:47
Speaker 1: was saying, ohe the Hurricanes could get into the finals?
• 2:50
Speaker 1: Is he dreaming? Possibly? Yeah, they're not doing that. I
• 2:55
Speaker 1: mean they're doing okay now, but they in the last
• 2:57
Speaker 1: few weeks, but they haven't been doing that.
• 2:59
Speaker 2: Well yeah yeah, yeah, So we'll see what happens.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: All right, he's a dream just coming.
• 3:02
  Speaker 2: Down to there.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: Ryan Fox. Ran Fox has already made his dreams come
• 3:08
Speaker 1: true this morning. He's in the final round ten ten
• 3:11
Speaker 1: to five this morning.
• 3:12
Speaker 2: Yes, I've just been watching it before I came in here.
• 3:14
Speaker 2: He has part of the first so still sitting in
• 3:17
Speaker 2: that year of seventeenth. He's three under overall, but it's
• 3:21
Speaker 2: going to take a lot to hauland Scottie Scheffley here
• 3:24
Speaker 2: number one golf in the world, Rhyn and pretty much
• 3:27
Speaker 2: at the top of his game. He's eleven under, so
• 3:30
Speaker 2: it's going to require something pretty remarkable from Fox. But
• 3:32
Speaker 2: then again, if he holds where he is, he's going
• 3:34
Speaker 2: to get a terrific paycheck. So continuing that form that
• 3:37
Speaker 2: he had from what we saw go earlier on with
• 3:40
Speaker 2: his first victory on the PGA to a myrdle Beach Classic,
• 3:44
Speaker 2: and he took it into the first round with the
• 3:46
Speaker 2: four under head of what an even part around in
• 3:48
Speaker 2: a one over round. So you just finishing to see
• 3:51
Speaker 2: what he produces a tall order, Yeah, I think so.
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: I think so.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: But so like the Hurricane, it's just if you go.
• 3:59
Speaker 2: Where Foxes go though, that's just a remarkable achievement in itself,
• 4:02
Speaker 2: so you know, to hold that to a card for
• 4:04
Speaker 2: other two years. The peace of mind from that, that's
• 4:07
Speaker 2: really the bigger went Pretty special, isn't it.
• 4:08
