- 1:30Speaker 2: plans this month.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It's fun, it's popping off.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It's pop literally popping off sixty seven.
- 1:37Speaker 1: If you are watching on YouTube, please do not forget

- 1:47Speaker 1: you we need all the hype we can get.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Give us, give us every single you do helps us
- 1:54Speaker 2: in the I'll go elegably thank you.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Bitter in now, I probably should ask whether you have
- 2:04Speaker 1: any takeaways after watching the final episode, and of course
- 2:08Speaker 1: we know there's going to be a reunion. It's going
- 2:10Speaker 1: to be tomorrow night at ninth Central. It's not live,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but that's when it's dropped. We are going to come
- 2:16Speaker 1: back and we are going to recap that as far
- 2:18Speaker 1: this is the final episode of the actual show. Did
- 2:22Speaker 1: you have any final takeaways? Alex Is beard, honey.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Alex's beard. I'm just like you knew you were gonna
- 2:31Speaker 2: get burried. He knew he was gonna get married, so
- 2:34Speaker 2: he didn't.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Brush his beard, did he brush his teeth.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I don't think he brushed his hair. I don't think
- 2:39Speaker 2: he washed his bass.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Dumb friends showed up with their fucked up, clossed hair
- 2:45Speaker 1: and their beards looked fine. They obviously took great care
- 2:49Speaker 1: with how they wanted to show up and look on
- 2:50Speaker 1: our televisions.
- 2:52Speaker 2: It's giving hobosexual.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You can't tell your friend, hey, by the way, you've
- 2:56Speaker 1: got literal sesame seeds in your beard or something. Do
- 3:00Speaker 1: you literally have bird seed in your eyebrows and you've
- 3:04Speaker 1: got lint on your tucks and you've got hair on
- 3:07Speaker 1: your ears. You couldn't line up your beard. I was
- 3:11Speaker 1: just like flabber, Yes, me too. So what's my takeaway? Well,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I think I'm most interested to discuss with you Ashley's
- 3:21Speaker 1: takedown of Alex at the altar. Yeah, I'm trying to
- 3:27Speaker 1: like take my own temperature. Yeah, you know, check my
- 3:29Speaker 1: own vibration about that. I loved it because guys like
- 3:34Speaker 1: Alex need to hear it and also need to know
- 3:37Speaker 1: that we see you. But at the same time, there
- 3:40Speaker 1: was something that was just a little off about it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I agree, Do you agree? I'm not necessarily saying she
- 3:48Speaker 1: was cruel, but it was disproportionate. I think we'll talk
- 3:53Speaker 1: about it more. I guess what I'm saying is like,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I have inconclusive thoughts and I want to hash it
- 3:57Speaker 1: out with you in this episode. So without for the rede,
- 4:00Speaker 1: let's get into it. Beatrice.
- 4:02Speaker 2: All right. So we're in season ten, episode twelve, entitled
- 4:06Speaker 2: Head versus Heart because we can't tell if we love each.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Other in our heads or in our hearts or in
- 4:13Speaker 1: our pants.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We're in our pants or in our pants. So we
- 4:17Speaker 2: left off last week with.
- 4:19Speaker 1: A cliffhanger in them.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Snory of Mike and Emma's wedding because we weren't sure
- 4:27Speaker 2: if Mike was gonna say yes or no or not,
- 4:29Speaker 2: and newsplash, he says no because and you guessed it,
- 4:34Speaker 2: it's because she's unsure about having kids or not. And
- 4:38Speaker 2: so of course we have this stupid monologue with Mike
- 4:41Speaker 2: at the altar being like, I don't know if I
- 4:43Speaker 2: could commit because you can't commit about having children. That's
- 4:47Speaker 2: really important to me. So for me, it's a no.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And Emma is like not shocked about it. She's like,
- 4:53Speaker 2: I get it. I love you still, and then they
- 4:55Speaker 2: go and sit on the couch after their wedding, and
- 4:58Speaker 2: she's like, I still love you, still to be with you.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I know you're gonna be an amazing dad, and you know,
- 5:03Speaker 2: like maybe one day I will have an answer for
- 5:06Speaker 2: you about children. And Mike's just like, yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So what are we doing here? Why are you wasting
- 5:15Speaker 1: my precious time? This is a conversation that y'all had
- 5:19Speaker 1: in the Pods. Emma was very clear, I'm unclear about
- 5:24Speaker 1: having children. Mike, you were very clear, to your credit
- 5:27Speaker 1: that you want them really bad. You're fucking rabid for babies. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 1: but I do have to ask the question, like, Okay,
- 5:32Speaker 1: once you have the babies, what kind of dad are
- 5:34Speaker 1: you going to be?
- 5:35Speaker 2: For really, are just.
- 5:35Speaker 1: One of these guys who want to have a legacy
- 5:38Speaker 1: of children but aren't going to actually show up to
- 5:40Speaker 1: pick them up from school or go to their recitals.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You just want the baby making machine to pump out
- 5:46Speaker 1: all your kids and your big Italian family. Yeah shit. Anyway,
- 5:49Speaker 1: but you knew in the Pods that she was unclear
- 5:52Speaker 1: about whether she wanted that, So why did you say yes?
- 5:56Speaker 1: And then why did we go episode to episode to
- 6:00Speaker 1: episode to hear the same conversation over and over again
- 6:04Speaker 1: about you wanting kids. I get it. I'm not dumb.
- 6:07Speaker 1: MAM's not dumb. Well, well I'm not dumb. Well I'm
- 6:14Speaker 1: not dumb. I just didn't understand why we had to
- 6:16Speaker 1: go to the very end, yeah, when it was the
- 6:19Speaker 1: same issue that showed up in the first episode, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: here we are with the same issue in the last one.
- 6:25Speaker 2: God, And it was kind of weird to me that
- 6:27Speaker 2: Emma even said yes to begin with, because I'm just like,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you guys weren't giving like Christine and Vick vibes where
- 6:34Speaker 2: I felt like there was a genuine connection from you,
- 6:37Speaker 2: like sexual or emotional, Like there really wasn't anything. It
- 6:41Speaker 2: was kind of giving, like we're just friends. We're on
- 6:44Speaker 2: the show for clicks and giggles and to go to
- 6:47Speaker 2: Cabo and that's it. It kind of felt like they
- 6:50Speaker 2: predetermined this answer, they predetermined what they were gonna say
- 6:54Speaker 2: at the altar, and that's it. So they're not getting married,
- 6:58Speaker 2: but I guess they're gonna stay together. I don't know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: we'll see when we get to the reunion.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Highly doubt it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Then we have Amber and Jordan, and we have this
- 7:06Speaker 2: really long segment with them of like whether or not
- 7:09Speaker 2: they're gonna say yes or no, especially Jordan because he's
- 7:13Speaker 2: worried about being a stepfather or whatever. He apparently met
- 7:18Speaker 2: Amber's daughter Emma before their wedding and they hit it
- 7:21Speaker 2: off pretty well. She seemed to like him. Amber is
- 7:25Speaker 2: solidified in her decision. She wants to marry Jordan and
- 7:28Speaker 2: his seapap and she's ready, but she's also understanding if
- 7:32Speaker 2: he says no or not. And then we have Amber's
- 7:35Speaker 2: brother who's kind of fearmongering her before the wedding, being like,
- 7:39Speaker 2: I know, he's like, I think Jordan's gonna say.
- 7:42Speaker 1: No with his dumb ass, fucking hair. What are you
- 7:45Speaker 1: doing with your hair? I know, I told you this
- 7:48Speaker 1: was a good idea. Well represent yourself in such a
- 7:52Speaker 1: way on national television with that bumb ass, fuck ass hair,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and you're gonna just try to bring her down the
- 7:59Speaker 1: moment before, for she walks out to marry this man
- 8:03Speaker 1: that she thinks that she loves, which I don't think
- 8:05Speaker 1: she does love him. Yeah, Like I was just like, wow,
- 8:07Speaker 1: way to harsh her, mellow.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I know, I was cool, really lame. He's like I
- 8:11Speaker 2: was talking to Jordan and I think it's gonna be
- 8:13Speaker 2: a no. But like, I'm happy for you, sis, and
- 8:15Speaker 2: Amber's like, I'm understanding either way. She even says that
- 8:18Speaker 2: at the altar, She's like, I will understand if you
- 8:20Speaker 2: say no, Like, I know I come with a lot.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I know I have a lot of baggage, which kind
- 8:24Speaker 2: of made my heart hurt for her a little bit
- 8:26Speaker 2: because she seems like a good person. She's just been
- 8:28Speaker 2: through a lot.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I think she's been told that a lot.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And so she ultimately says yes, and then Jordan
- 8:34Speaker 2: says yes as well, which shocked me. I called it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You did call it. I called it. I was wrong.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I don't think he wanted to though. Really, I feel like, yes,
- 8:47Speaker 1: the entire run up to the altar, when he's sitting
- 8:50Speaker 1: down with his own family, you can tell he's super nervous. Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You can tell also that his family is dubious that
- 8:58Speaker 1: he's going to do it, because they looked really shocked
- 9:01Speaker 1: when he actually said yes. Yeah. And I feel like
- 9:05Speaker 1: because Amber in the moment at the altar was so gracious,
- 9:10Speaker 1: she was and so complimentary of that bum ass, homeless person,
- 9:16Speaker 1: chopless homeless and toothless honey. She was so complimentary and
- 9:22Speaker 1: positive in the way that she spoke about him, and
- 9:25Speaker 1: then she said, and if you don't want to, I
- 9:27Speaker 1: totally understand he had a thought in his mind in
- 9:30Speaker 1: that moment where he's like, you know what, I should
- 9:31Speaker 1: marry her. She's like, way out of my league. She
- 9:34Speaker 1: is a nurse practitioner, nur and she wants me, and
- 9:38Speaker 1: I ain't shit, I'm gonna say yes. Another thing I
- 9:41Speaker 1: wanted to bring up is when he's sitting down with
- 9:43Speaker 1: his family and they're like, so, where are you guys
- 9:45Speaker 1: gonna live? And he's saying, well, I'm not going to
- 9:48Speaker 1: live in Mount Vernon, where she lives, where her daughter
- 9:51Speaker 1: goes to school, where her bio dad lives, picks her
- 9:55Speaker 1: up for school and takes her and brings her back, Like,
- 9:57Speaker 1: I can't be arsed to move to Mount Vernon to
- 10:01Speaker 1: accommodate even a little bit of her life. No, she's
- 10:04Speaker 1: got to move her kid and affect everybody's lives so
- 10:07Speaker 1: I can be by the bars, I can go to concerts,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I can do sports events and do all the stupid
- 10:13Speaker 1: bachelor shit that I'm currently doing. And that is why
- 10:15Speaker 1: I really felt like he was gonna say no, because
- 10:18Speaker 1: he's inherently selfish. We still don't know what his job
- 10:22Speaker 1: is or if he's gainfully employed. I just didn't think
- 10:26Speaker 1: he was gonna do.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It, but he did, yeah, And I was kind of
- 10:29Speaker 2: surprised by that because we hadn't really gotten a lot
- 10:32Speaker 2: of Amber and Jordan throughout the season, Like we get
- 10:35Speaker 2: them here and there, and we had their like little
- 10:37Speaker 2: fight like an episode or two ago, but that was
- 10:40Speaker 2: really it. So I was kind of surprised to hear
- 10:42Speaker 2: him be like, Oh, I'm not moving out there in
- 10:44Speaker 2: her whole house that she renovated. That's beautiful. And I'm like,
- 10:48Speaker 2: so you're gonna sit in your bum ass apartment out
- 10:51Speaker 2: wherever you're at in the big city of what Springfields.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't know where you live. I think it's Columbus, okay,
- 10:59Speaker 1: because that's much better.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I thought that was really weird that
- 11:02Speaker 2: he like went off about that, but then he ultimately said, yes,
- 11:06Speaker 2: I feel like he loves her deep down in his blubber,
- 11:09Speaker 2: but he can't really stop it. Sorry, but he can't
- 11:14Speaker 2: really like get over the inconveniences of.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Then why are you on Love is Blind?
- 11:21Speaker 2: No?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, Frey a stranger who has a whole.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Life, Because if you're homeless and jobless and.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Toothless, and why are you picking a woman who has
- 11:29Speaker 1: a child, which was your alleged deal breaker. Yeah, but
- 11:32Speaker 1: you're willing to do that. You're willing to be a stepdad,
- 11:35Speaker 1: but you're not willing to leave your bachelor lifestyle. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: just I was just like, I was very disappointed in
- 11:43Speaker 1: his demeanor and me too, what he was saying to
- 11:45Speaker 1: his family. And so that's why I was surprised, because
- 11:48Speaker 1: I felt like he was trying to talk himself out
- 11:50Speaker 1: of it already. Yeah, but no, lo and behold, she
- 11:52Speaker 1: was so magical and so gracious in the moment he
- 11:56Speaker 1: ends up saying yes. But spoiler alert, So if you
- 11:59Speaker 1: don't like spoilers, go ahead to the time stamp right
- 12:04Speaker 1: there and you won't hear what I have to say
- 12:06Speaker 1: about Jordan. But news on the street is we're gonna
- 12:09Speaker 1: find out during the reunion that their marriage lasted for
- 12:14Speaker 1: three months or less. Yikes, and then they got a
- 12:18Speaker 1: divorce or they're in the process of a divorce. And
- 12:20Speaker 1: we do see in the preview that she's very upset. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: so I think Jordan absolutely bailed on her. That's my prediction.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That sucks, It does suck, because like, why say yes,
- 12:32Speaker 1: Jordan if you're just gonna leave her in three months
- 12:35Speaker 1: and her child now who knows who you are? Yeah, asshole, And.
- 12:39Speaker 2: That's what's fucked up. It's like you're not just hurting Amber,
- 12:42Speaker 2: you're hurting her child and that was why she didn't
- 12:44Speaker 2: want to introduce you to her child in the first place.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And like you had this fight with her just a
- 12:50Speaker 2: couple episodes ago about how she's hurt and she's been
- 12:55Speaker 2: hurt by so many men. All the men always leave her.
- 12:57Speaker 2: She's distrustful of all men, and you consoled her and
- 13:01Speaker 2: said you're not like those men, and you really care
- 13:03Speaker 2: about her and all this stuff, but then you're just
- 13:05Speaker 2: gonna go back on it.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Men really aren't shit well, And in fairness, we don't
- 13:10Speaker 1: know if it was him that pulled the plug or
- 13:12Speaker 1: Amber and so one of them did, but I don't know.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I could see her getting sick of his shit for sure.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Of a pep yes, So back from our little spoiler anyways,
- 13:22Speaker 1: So Jordan says yes, yep, and they kiss Emma. Her
- 13:27Speaker 1: daughter does not look happy.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I mean, she's just like, why am I here? Right?
- 13:31Speaker 2: That's just so boring? Can I go back home and
- 13:34Speaker 2: play roadblocks.
- 13:35Speaker 1: She's very camera shy. Yeah, I like you. They get
- 13:37Speaker 1: married and everything seems great.
- 13:40Speaker 2: For now four now, And I literally wrote that in
- 13:42Speaker 2: my notes, like they seem happy four now. Then we
- 13:45Speaker 2: go over to Brittany and Davante aka the human meat Loaf,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and apparently Devonte has called off the wedding shock her
- 13:54Speaker 2: to nobody.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So on that I was kind of right now, Well,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I said he was gonna go yeah, And I do
- 14:01Speaker 1: think that would be his normal propensity. And if there
- 14:04Speaker 1: weren't cameras involved in contracts, he probably would have just ghosted.
- 14:08Speaker 1: But he had to show up and have this weird
- 14:11Speaker 1: conversation wearing a literal couch cushion, wearing a literal faux
- 14:16Speaker 1: leather green couch cushion and looking like a dope.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Totally a dope. Well, and didn't he say like in
- 14:24Speaker 2: the conversation with her, like in his talking head or whatever.
- 14:26Speaker 2: If this was him a couple of years ago, like
- 14:28Speaker 2: he would have just regretted the marriage, like he would
- 14:32Speaker 2: have just gotten married with her, would not have had
- 14:34Speaker 2: the conversation and.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Just found a way to get a speedy divorce or
- 14:38Speaker 1: something like do this guy suck so bad, it's got
- 14:41Speaker 1: no integrity, sucks. So he's also a literal coward who
- 14:45Speaker 1: doesn't know how to use his big boy words and
- 14:48Speaker 1: say I'm not into you. I'm breaking up by Like
- 14:52Speaker 1: that's all you would have to say, Yeah, the supremely
- 14:55Speaker 1: delusional Brittany girl, we'll get there, But no, he can't
- 14:58Speaker 1: do that. And even in this conversation, he is still
- 15:02Speaker 1: not telling her the truth. No, he's still giving her
- 15:06Speaker 1: enough rope for her to hang herself by saying like, yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 1: you know, we'll see what happens. He's not a fortune
- 15:12Speaker 1: teller or anything like that, so I don't know what
- 15:14Speaker 1: tomorrow will bring, but like, we'll just see what happens.
- 15:17Speaker 2: He literally says, we'll be in touch, but for right now,
- 15:20Speaker 2: we'll stay engaged or whatever. And I'm like, no, just
- 15:23Speaker 2: break up with her because you're obviously not into her.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Brittany is so dilusion.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Before we get to Britney's delusion, we have to acknowledge
- 15:33Speaker 1: when the clock is right two times a day. And
- 15:37Speaker 1: this is Davante actually saying like it was really weird though,
- 15:42Speaker 1: that she bought her wedding dress before she even met anybody,
- 15:46Speaker 1: like would it have even mattered to her if it
- 15:49Speaker 1: was me, Like, do I count at all? And then
- 15:51Speaker 1: he said something like and she was a literal shadow,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Like she was constantly around me, following me everywhere, and
- 15:58Speaker 1: I just need some space. I think that's true. I
- 16:01Speaker 1: can believe Brittany's a very clingy person. She's probably a
- 16:05Speaker 1: stage five clinger. And I can also believe that it
- 16:08Speaker 1: would be a big turn off to a guy to
- 16:10Speaker 1: know that you just picked your wedding dress without even
- 16:12Speaker 1: having a groom. Yet, like that is a red flag
- 16:15Speaker 1: to me. He calls it out, that's fair, and that's
- 16:18Speaker 1: the only thing that he's done that's fair.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Well, But at the same time, like she bought it
- 16:23Speaker 2: in preparation to go on Love is Blind, and like
- 16:25Speaker 2: to me, I'm like, you bought the wedding dress because
- 16:28Speaker 2: you like the way it looks on you and this
- 16:30Speaker 2: is your fit. So I'm like, I don't really see
- 16:33Speaker 2: a problem with it per se. And if you're going
- 16:35Speaker 2: on Love is Blind, Like, yeah, you are going on
- 16:38Speaker 2: it with the intention I would hope to get married
- 16:41Speaker 2: to whoever is in the pod talking to you.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's not a guarantee that you're going to
- 16:45Speaker 1: get an engagement. Sure, it is kind of weird that
- 16:48Speaker 1: you are in your early thirties and you're out here
- 16:50Speaker 1: buying wedding dresses because you so desperately want to be married,
- 16:54Speaker 1: well without even having a person in mind. I just
- 16:58Speaker 1: I do think personally, I do think that strange.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I do think it is desperado, But I don't think
- 17:03Speaker 2: it's like a red flag in the sense that DeVante
- 17:06Speaker 2: is making it where he's like, do I even matter
- 17:09Speaker 2: at all?
- 17:10Speaker 1: No, the answer is no, absolutely no. Serious.
- 17:13Speaker 2: And also she doesn't matter to you, And like when
- 17:16Speaker 2: he was going on about her being his shadow, I
- 17:19Speaker 2: was kind of thinking, like, you're being a little dramatic. Though,
- 17:21Speaker 2: I think it's because you're utterly repulsed by Brittany and
- 17:25Speaker 2: so you just don't want her to be around you
- 17:27Speaker 2: in any capacity whatsoever. That's why he said, like last episode,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I just got to take a day for myself, like
- 17:33Speaker 2: where I go no contact and I turn off all
- 17:35Speaker 2: of my phones and all my social media and everything,
- 17:38Speaker 2: so you can't contact me whatsoever, so I can be
- 17:40Speaker 2: completely one hundred percent alone with my thoughts, with my
- 17:44Speaker 2: one thought.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Well, and further, it's not like she didn't tell him
- 17:48Speaker 1: when they were in the pods that she had purchased
- 17:50Speaker 1: her wedding dress, because she did. She did, so he
- 17:53Speaker 1: knew it from the beginning. And if it was something
- 17:55Speaker 1: that was such a red flag, why wouldn't that have
- 17:58Speaker 1: bothered you in the beginning, deterred you in the beginning,
- 18:01Speaker 1: you still ended up proposing.
- 18:02Speaker 2: To her exactly, but then when you saw that she
- 18:05Speaker 2: wasn't a white chick, then you turned your tables.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I don't know, well, And at some point he's like, Okay,
- 18:11Speaker 1: I gotta go. Yeah, and then he leaves, and then
- 18:14Speaker 1: production shows him drive away in a Honda Accord, and
- 18:17Speaker 1: I just had to love that in the moment, because again,
- 18:20Speaker 1: this is the guy who's like, on a bad month,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm making about twelve thousand dollars. On a good month,
- 18:26Speaker 1: it's about forty thousand dollars, and I've got a home
- 18:30Speaker 1: in North Carolina with a mortgage that's like fifty seven
- 18:33Speaker 1: hundred dollars a month. Blah, blah, fucking blah. He was
- 18:37Speaker 1: a poser the entire time. We're driving away in a
- 18:40Speaker 1: Honda fucking Accord. There is nothing wrong with that. Furthermore,
- 18:43Speaker 1: if you have a lot of money, and you don't
- 18:46Speaker 1: spend it lavishly. I have a lot of respect for
- 18:48Speaker 1: you in that regard. But you can just tell that
- 18:51Speaker 1: this man, not unlike a couple of the other men
- 18:54Speaker 1: on this cast, is a liar, Yeah, a broke toll
- 18:57Speaker 1: tech headed liar, Labonte, catch Labonte, tull tec head Devo,
- 19:06Speaker 1: meat Loaf meat loaf Man Devo, the meat Loaf bompd.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I literally can't stand him. And I'm like, Okay, Brittany,
- 19:15Speaker 2: if this is obvious to all of us, Yeah, why
- 19:19Speaker 2: isn't it obvious to you? Like she is literally crying
- 19:23Speaker 2: over this man calling off their wedding, but then she's
- 19:25Speaker 2: like still being hopeful. She's like, well, I do see
- 19:28Speaker 2: us getting married one day because you're me person and
- 19:31Speaker 2: I really love you and I think you're doing amasing
- 19:34Speaker 2: and like it's okay that you need time, Like I'm
- 19:36Speaker 2: really understanding of that. And Davante is literally not saying
- 19:39Speaker 2: a single word. He is just sitting there like the
- 19:42Speaker 2: blog that he is on the couch and he's like,
- 19:44Speaker 2: can I leave now?
- 19:45Speaker 1: And she's like, but we're not broken up. I mean
- 19:47Speaker 1: we're still together. We're just not getting married today. Yeah,
- 19:50Speaker 1: but we are getting married someday. And then when she
- 19:53Speaker 1: does her interstitial on her big love seat thing, and
- 19:56Speaker 1: she's like, well, I mean, even though I'm not getting
- 19:59Speaker 1: married today, I did find the love of my life.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I was like, Brittany, what, I'm so sorry, honey. I'm
- 20:07Speaker 1: not mad at you. No, I'm not here trying to
- 20:11Speaker 1: make fun of you. I just feel really bad for you.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And it's not like I was not sprung from for
- 20:19Speaker 1: some mediocre men in my day, sprung for some mediocre men.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I've done stupid things in my life. But look, this
- 20:27Speaker 1: is so cringe. And so I went up on her Instagram. Yeah,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I did a little investigative journalism, and she does address
- 20:33Speaker 1: this good. So let me read the post. It's a
- 20:36Speaker 1: picture of her. I'll put it up right here, showing
- 20:38Speaker 1: us her booty and her body, and every body is tea.
- 20:42Speaker 1: She says, reflecting back on the last year, I can
- 20:46Speaker 1: clearly see what the world is witnessing that I couldn't
- 20:49Speaker 1: fully see chose to not accept in the moment. It's
- 20:53Speaker 1: not enjoyable watching myself accept a love less than deserving.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Hindsight is twenty twenty, y'all. I wanted to reach through
- 21:00Speaker 1: the TV and slap myself. Thank God for growth. Just
- 21:04Speaker 1: remember you are only seeing a small part of the
- 21:07Speaker 1: relationship we built, and one that I was continually asked
- 21:11Speaker 1: to be patient and to have trust in. I had
- 21:15Speaker 1: my reservations, and now I've learned to always trust my
- 21:19Speaker 1: gut and someone's actions over their words. I appreciate all
- 21:24Speaker 1: the love and support through this journey. She goes on
- 21:27Speaker 1: to say she has no regrets and such, but like
- 21:28Speaker 1: what she's saying here is that she was being led
- 21:31Speaker 1: on and somebody was asking her to have some patience.
- 21:35Speaker 1: She was being told that they did have a relationship,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and she believed it even though her own intuition and
- 21:41Speaker 1: his actions were saying otherwise. So I do feel for
- 21:44Speaker 1: her me too. She does come across as extremely naive
- 21:48Speaker 1: and childlike in her desire to be married, as if
- 21:52Speaker 1: that's like the pinnacle of a woman's existence is to
- 21:55Speaker 1: be married and have children. It's really cringe, Brittany, But
- 21:58Speaker 1: at least you understand that.
- 22:00Speaker 2: At least she had some self reflection and could acknowledge that.
- 22:03Speaker 2: So I do appreciate that. In this scene, it was
- 22:06Speaker 2: really hard for me because I felt for her because
- 22:09Speaker 2: on her couch, she is saying like, you know, I
- 22:12Speaker 2: do have some worries and insecurities of like, I know
- 22:17Speaker 2: that my feelings for him are stronger than his feelings
- 22:19Speaker 2: are for me, and like, I haven't met his mom
- 22:21Speaker 2: in person yet, which is weird. And I have this
- 22:25Speaker 2: thought of like, am I still the person that you
- 22:28Speaker 2: fell in love with in the Pods? And girl? The
- 22:30Speaker 2: answer is no, because you're not You're not white, and
- 22:33Speaker 2: that's that's what it boils down to, the starter, That's
- 22:36Speaker 2: what it boils down to. And it's really unfortunate. And
- 22:39Speaker 2: I can totally see that Davante was probably leading her
- 22:43Speaker 2: on the entire time. I mean, you can even see
- 22:44Speaker 2: it in this conversation. Yes, he's not breaking up with her,
- 22:47Speaker 2: even though he literally should just cut the tie, dude,
- 22:52Speaker 2: you guys were only together for a month. Just rip
- 22:54Speaker 2: the band aid off. But he's too much of a
- 22:56Speaker 2: and I'm sorry, he's a pussy. He's too much of
- 22:59Speaker 2: a fucking pussy to just say it. He can't be
- 23:02Speaker 2: a man to be like you know what, Brittany, you're
- 23:03Speaker 2: a lovely girl, but you're just not right for me.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And I'm sorry about that, and I wish you nothing
- 23:09Speaker 2: but the best and here's my number. We can be friends,
- 23:13Speaker 2: but peace out.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yep.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna go find a white chick, like just say that, Davante,
- 23:17Speaker 2: but you can't because you're a cheese block. I can't
- 23:20Speaker 2: stand him.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I really can stand him. I can't wait to see
- 23:25Speaker 1: him on the reunion. Are we going to talk about
- 23:27Speaker 1: And somebody actually asks in the comment section, like, please
- 23:30Speaker 1: Brittany bring up his self hating anti blackness, Like somebody
- 23:36Speaker 1: talk about the thing that everybody is talking about in
- 23:39Speaker 1: the community because it's so obvious. And whereas Brittany, you're
- 23:43Speaker 1: self hating in a different way. It's not about your race.
- 23:45Speaker 1: It's like there's something about you that does not deem
- 23:50Speaker 1: yourself worthy to have somebody who treats you well and
- 23:53Speaker 1: loves you and sees you for who you are. That's
- 23:55Speaker 1: a thing that's happening inside of you.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yep.
- 23:57Speaker 1: But what's happening with DeVante is totally different. Somebody needs
- 24:01Speaker 1: to call it out for real.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Fuck that guy. Then we go to Ashley and Alex
- 24:07Speaker 2: and this was great, like leading up to their wedding
- 24:12Speaker 2: and leading up to Ashley's ultimate speech at the altar
- 24:16Speaker 2: was really glorious. But we have them getting ready, and
- 24:20Speaker 2: of course Alex is not doing jackshit. He's not brushing
- 24:22Speaker 2: his beard, he's not even trimming it. He's not even
- 24:25Speaker 2: putting on deodorant. He's not doing anything.
- 24:28Speaker 1: His tucks was ill fitting, it was wrinkled, like at
- 24:31Speaker 1: least with Jordan. Yes, he's a husky man, but his
- 24:35Speaker 1: suit fit. Mike looked great. We're gonna get to Vic,
- 24:38Speaker 1: who is my secret love. I know looked so fly.
- 24:42Speaker 1: He looked so fly, And then we have Alex busted
- 24:45Speaker 1: as with like this oversized, weird tucks with lint on it,
- 24:50Speaker 1: and I'm like, what do you do? He does not care,
- 24:52Speaker 1: nope at all, not even for his own appearance, how
- 24:54Speaker 1: he's showing up in the world. He does not care.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And it's very disrespectful to me. Yeah, so do no,
- 25:00Speaker 1: not to me, but like, to me, that's very disrespectful.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Because conversely, you have Ashley. At least she selected a
- 25:06Speaker 1: gorgeous draft and she gets ready, hair is so beautiful,
- 25:10Speaker 1: she looks gorgeous.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Well, and to me, it was just obvious that Alex
- 25:15Speaker 2: doesn't take any of this seriously, because if he did,
- 25:18Speaker 2: he would have at least brushed his teeth. But like
- 25:20Speaker 2: he couldn't even do that. I'm like, dude, what are
- 25:23Speaker 2: you doing? But my vibe was he knew he wasn't
- 25:26Speaker 2: going to get married, he knew he was going to
- 25:29Speaker 2: say no to her. But ultimately Ashley also knows he's
- 25:33Speaker 2: going to say no to her, and so therefore she
- 25:36Speaker 2: has to say no first, and she has to prepare
- 25:38Speaker 2: her speech to say no first. That was kind of
- 25:41Speaker 2: my vibe about it.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Before you go on, because I can see you ready
- 25:44Speaker 1: to go on, I just want to drill a little
- 25:47Speaker 1: deeper into the way that he showed up, because if
- 25:51Speaker 1: he's a player, if he wants to put himself out
- 25:53Speaker 1: there as an accomplished man who can get any woman
- 25:56Speaker 1: and is now on the market for a new woman
- 25:59Speaker 1: and a new job, I would think he would show
- 26:02Speaker 1: up looking fly as hell, with the nicest tucks, with
- 26:05Speaker 1: his hair done right ye, with his beard done right
- 26:08Speaker 1: with you, somebody in the barber shop taking care of
- 26:11Speaker 1: the hairs on his ears, and everything like that. But
- 26:14Speaker 1: the fact that he didn't makes me think he does
- 26:18Speaker 1: not see himself. He's very deluded. He doesn't see himself
- 26:22Speaker 1: the way that the rest of the world sees him.
- 26:25Speaker 1: He thinks he's showing up the right way, and he's not.
- 26:27Speaker 1: He doesn't understand that his stick the thing that he
- 26:31Speaker 1: does with Ashley, which is just talking circles, because he's
- 26:33Speaker 1: lying all the time, because he's insecure, because he can't
- 26:36Speaker 1: admit that he feels less than in every single moment
- 26:39Speaker 1: of his life. He doesn't understand how he comes across. No,
- 26:43Speaker 1: it does not occur to him at all. And so
- 26:45Speaker 1: I felt and I actually, and we're going to get
- 26:47Speaker 1: into it. I felt bad for him because even his
- 26:50Speaker 1: friends didn't tell him, like, dude, do your beard like
- 26:53Speaker 1: You've got a literal sesame seed in your beard and
- 26:56Speaker 1: in your eyebrow. What are you doing? My friend?
- 26:59Speaker 2: I mean, he just doesn't care. So even if his
- 27:01Speaker 2: friends did tell him, I don't think he would give
- 27:03Speaker 2: a shit.
- 27:03Speaker 1: He's looking for a new couch to sleep on. Doesn't
- 27:06Speaker 1: he want to put his best foot forward? Me? I
- 27:08Speaker 1: guess not.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I think he is cocky. I think he thinks he
- 27:12Speaker 2: doesn't have to brush his hair because I'm a hot dude.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I'm six foot and I've got tribal tattoos on my
- 27:17Speaker 2: left arm, like I'm a cool dude. Like I think
- 27:19Speaker 2: he doesn't think he needs to do anything.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Well, when we get to the reunion and they've released
- 27:25Speaker 1: the reunion looks, we're going to see how he shows
- 27:28Speaker 1: up to the reunion and he looks nice. No he doesn't.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I thought he did. No, I was seeing pictures that
- 27:33Speaker 1: he looks nice. He looks nice if we're going to
- 27:35Speaker 1: the Applebee's on a Thursday night. But like everybody is
- 27:38Speaker 1: showing up and showing out, even that little leprechaun Chris Fusco.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But here we've got Alex showing up in business casual weirdness.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Oh my god, Yes, we will look at let's when
- 27:51Speaker 1: we cover the reunion. Let's show all of the looks
- 27:53Speaker 1: so everybody can see and Jodge, we will just he
- 27:56Speaker 1: showed up looking very different. One of these things is
- 27:59Speaker 1: not like the.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Maybe this is just how he thinks he needs to look.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Maybe he thinks I am looking fly with my sysame
- 28:07Speaker 2: seat in my beard and my disheveled fucking hair and
- 28:12Speaker 2: the strategically placed curly cues to hide my receding hairline.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Wild, wild, business crazy.
- 28:18Speaker 2: And so Alex is not getting ready, he's not ironing
- 28:22Speaker 2: his shirt, his shirt, and he's probably getting drunk because
- 28:25Speaker 2: he knows that he's not going to get married. Meanwhile,
- 28:28Speaker 2: we have Ashley, who is getting dressed to the nines.
- 28:32Speaker 2: She's doing her hair, she doing her makeup, and she's
- 28:35Speaker 2: also preparing her speech. She wants us to know that
- 28:39Speaker 2: she's just a boring girl from Ohio in a small town.
- 28:43Speaker 2: She's she's not gonna take Alex's shit because she's an
- 28:47Speaker 2: empowered woman. And she knows that she was not Alex's
- 28:50Speaker 2: type because apparently he kept telling her over and over
- 28:53Speaker 2: again that she's not his type.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Wow, big yikes.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And so she's going to tell him know at the altar,
- 29:01Speaker 2: which I do love, I do respect. I think that's great.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I do think she was kind of getting on a
- 29:11Speaker 2: soapbox for like no reason, and like Alex is not
- 29:14Speaker 2: worth the energy girl, Like you should have just ghosted
- 29:17Speaker 2: him at the altar. You shouldn't have even showed up,
- 29:20Speaker 2: in my opinion, but you showed up. Go to the altar.
- 29:24Speaker 2: You have this long speech about having a liar, doesn't
- 29:27Speaker 2: have any integrity, he's a loser, and all these things
- 29:31Speaker 2: are true. All these things are true, and the way
- 29:35Speaker 2: that Alex was reacting to it the whole time, he's like, yeah, okay.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Sure disagree. I think she was wounding him. I think
- 29:44Speaker 1: he was so shocked that she said any of that.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I think they spoke beforehand, and I did hear that
- 29:53Speaker 1: as a rumor, and I couldn't tell you where I
- 29:54Speaker 1: heard that from, probably one of the many reels I
- 29:57Speaker 1: watch about Love is Blind. But there is a rumor
- 29:59Speaker 1: that they actually had a discussion before this entire day
- 30:02Speaker 1: where they both understood that the other person was going
- 30:05Speaker 1: to say no. So she knew ahead of time that
- 30:07Speaker 1: he was going to say no. And she does tell
- 30:09Speaker 1: us that he was not expecting her to say the
- 30:13Speaker 1: things that she did. And I think he in that moment,
- 30:18Speaker 1: is so embarrassed. He's being called out for exactly who
- 30:22Speaker 1: he is, and he's intelligent enough to know that is
- 30:25Speaker 1: who he is. He has been deceitful, he has said
- 30:28Speaker 1: a lot of words solid lies and obfuscation. He has
- 30:32Speaker 1: lacked integrity. He knows that about himself. It's something he
- 30:35Speaker 1: doesn't want to confess to even himself. But in that moment,
- 30:37Speaker 1: having her do that in front of his alleged mom
- 30:40Speaker 1: and his weird fucking color me bad friends, YEA, is
- 30:45Speaker 1: so embarrassing and shameful to him. Like he did not
- 30:49Speaker 1: know what to do, because if he had his brothers,
- 30:52Speaker 1: he could have said, well, yeah, what about you, though, bitch,
- 30:54Speaker 1: He could have said anything. You would have thought that
- 30:57Speaker 1: a guy like Alex, with all of his bravado and like,
- 31:00Speaker 1: I've prepared for this day. I've walked into stadiums with
- 31:03Speaker 1: five thousand people. I'm a soccer star. You would have
- 31:06Speaker 1: thought he would have had something to say in rebuttal,
- 31:09Speaker 1: But he she shut him down and he was crushed.
- 31:13Speaker 1: He and for the rest of our scenes with him,
- 31:16Speaker 1: he is compensating. He is coping hard. He's totally so hard. Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, even in the vows he was coping because after
- 31:24Speaker 2: she goes on her speech and she's like, I think
- 31:26Speaker 2: I wrote it down. I know you're not chissing me,
- 31:29Speaker 2: so I'm not choosing you. It's a no for me, dog.
- 31:32Speaker 2: And then Alex is like, well, I strongly disagree with
- 31:36Speaker 2: the part about my integrity because I do have a
- 31:38Speaker 2: lot of integrity. I'm actually very truthful and honest and
- 31:41Speaker 2: a really great guy. But like I do agree, the
- 31:44Speaker 2: feeling's mutual. I'm not attracted to you, and so it's
- 31:48Speaker 2: a note for me too. So I do think that
- 31:50Speaker 2: he was coping a bit. I don't know how much
- 31:52Speaker 2: he could be really wounded from.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I don't think he's an actual narcissist. I think that. No,
- 31:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you when I and tell us what you
- 32:00Speaker 1: think out there, guys, give us a comment or write
- 32:03Speaker 1: us on Instagram. But like I was watching him and
- 32:05Speaker 1: I was like, as a young boy, this boy was abused.
- 32:09Speaker 1: There's like something in his eyes and his automatic reactions
- 32:14Speaker 1: to his mom, who he never can quite hug, all
- 32:16Speaker 1: the way neglected well, and that's the time type of abuse.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And I don't know who she was bringing around all
- 32:23Speaker 1: those lot lizards and whatnot around her young child and everything.
- 32:26Speaker 1: But I just feel like this is a broken man
- 32:30Speaker 1: and everything he throws out is an illusion to hide
- 32:34Speaker 1: the things that he doesn't want to face and confront
- 32:37Speaker 1: within himself. And so while he did deserve it and
- 32:40Speaker 1: Ashley had every right to call his ass out, I
- 32:43Speaker 1: think she went a little bit too far because she
- 32:46Speaker 1: set him up. I think they did have a conversation beforehand.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I think they both yeah, just say no, it'll be cool,
- 32:52Speaker 1: we'll be friends. She said his ass up. She told
- 32:54Speaker 1: her dad, who is a divorce attorney by the way
- 32:57Speaker 1: that I think he says that to his friends in
- 33:00Speaker 1: the final episode. That's great. She told her dad. Her
- 33:02Speaker 1: dad knew what was going to happen, her whole family
- 33:05Speaker 1: knew what was going to happen, and she did it
- 33:07Speaker 1: to humiliate him.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I do agree, Yeah, And like I felt like Ashley
- 33:14Speaker 2: was doing it not only to humiliate him, but also
- 33:16Speaker 2: to like prove a point about herself, like she had
- 33:20Speaker 2: said at one point when she was getting ready, Like
- 33:23Speaker 2: Alex has told me over and over again that I'm
- 33:25Speaker 2: not his type. So I hope that when he sees
- 33:26Speaker 2: me at the altar, he realizes that he's made a
- 33:29Speaker 2: big mistake and he's so wrong about it.
- 33:31Speaker 1: And I'm like, Ashley, the delusion of every woman girl.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Just if he doesn't want you to walk away, walk
- 33:37Speaker 1: away beener a dime a dozen, I'm like.
- 33:40Speaker 2: You're a beautiful girl, Like you can find another dude
- 33:43Speaker 2: in like zero point two seconds, Like it's fine, you
- 33:46Speaker 2: don't need Alex's approval to feel good about yourself. And
- 33:50Speaker 2: so I felt like she was not only going there
- 33:53Speaker 2: to humiliate him, but she was going there to I
- 33:56Speaker 2: don't know, like proving about herself. Yeah, And I'm like
- 33:59Speaker 2: chill much I've learned.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to accept this behavior for another man.
- 34:04Speaker 1: But the rumor on the street is what again, I
- 34:08Speaker 1: got this from Instagram somewhere, our TikTok somewhere that the
- 34:11Speaker 1: entire time that Ashley and Alex were together after Cobbos,
- 34:16Speaker 1: when they get back and when Ashley says they start
- 34:18Speaker 1: living like roommates, there is no intimacy and he's a
- 34:21Speaker 1: fucking liar, That's what she says. Yeah, he doesn't disagree.
- 34:25Speaker 1: That entire time that they're in the condos, she had
- 34:28Speaker 1: a sneaky link. She had somebody that she was either
- 34:32Speaker 1: talking to or straight up fugin, And so in a
- 34:36Speaker 1: later scene with Alex outside of the venue, saying like, yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 1: she can bring up my past, but like, there's some
- 34:42Speaker 1: things I could say about her too. I'm wondering if
- 34:45Speaker 1: he knows that she was doing this kind of sneaky shit,
- 34:49Speaker 1: or that she was doing even weirder shit before him.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I don't know what in terms of deceptition and in
- 34:57Speaker 1: terms of integrita, I don't know that she's the one
- 35:00Speaker 1: that should be getting up on that soapbox if those
- 35:02Speaker 1: rumors are true.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Beat Day, Yeah, I mean, I can see that that's
- 35:07Speaker 2: kind of crazy, but why did you go up.
- 35:09Speaker 1: On love for real though? Why did you just leave
- 35:12Speaker 1: the condo? If your roommates and if he's insensitive, and
- 35:15Speaker 1: if there's no intimacy, why are you hanging on? You're
- 35:17Speaker 1: doing it for the gram Egg. You're doing exactly so
- 35:20Speaker 1: that you can establish a brand.
- 35:22Speaker 2: That's exactly it. And like, i mean, the entire season
- 35:26Speaker 2: with these two have been has been super cringe to
- 35:29Speaker 2: me because I'm just like, you guys are both the
- 35:31Speaker 2: most superficial, most fake as fuck boring people on this planet.
- 35:37Speaker 2: There's literally no depths. Like she was talking about it
- 35:40Speaker 2: and her vows to him, like, you know, you don't
- 35:42Speaker 2: ask me any questions about myself?
- 35:44Speaker 1: What is there to ask?
- 35:46Speaker 2: I'm just like, all you talked about was sex and
- 35:48Speaker 2: how you wanted an Buckymore. I'm like, you guys are crazy.
- 35:51Speaker 1: She even said it when she gave her no vows. Yeah,
- 35:54Speaker 1: like there's been no intimacy, you have not been dicking
- 35:56Speaker 1: me down and stuff.
- 35:57Speaker 2: But then, like we had a fight about that a
- 36:00Speaker 2: couple episodes.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I'm always saying that in front of an audience of
- 36:03Speaker 1: family members, friends, that you're ever, sex is just the
- 36:07Speaker 1: wildest bit of business, I don't know. And furthermore, what's
- 36:10Speaker 1: wrong with the idea of being kind, right and just
- 36:16Speaker 1: being loving? Yep? And I know it's very hard in
- 36:19Speaker 1: this toxic world in which we live, and when we're
- 36:22Speaker 1: on social media and we see people just wild and
- 36:24Speaker 1: out and being crazy and so cruel and mean to
- 36:27Speaker 1: one another. I know, it's just such like a foreign
- 36:29Speaker 1: concept that we could conduct ourselves lovingly, with decorum and kindness,
- 36:34Speaker 1: even when the other person is being a straight fool
- 36:37Speaker 1: or deceptive or whatever, but to hold ourself out with
- 36:40Speaker 1: more class and dignity, like, it's such a foreign concept
- 36:43Speaker 1: to people. So there was some of what she said
- 36:47Speaker 1: that was some of that that was okay to say,
- 36:49Speaker 1: like we should call things that are wrong out right,
- 36:52Speaker 1: they should call those things out. But then you went
- 36:54Speaker 1: a little bit too far because you were being cruel too,
- 36:57Speaker 1: and if all these things that you were allegedly doing
- 37:00Speaker 1: behind the scenes are true, like, who are you to
- 37:02Speaker 1: hold yourself out as some healed woman. I'm not gonna
- 37:05Speaker 1: take it anymore. Sounds like you're taking a.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Lot and taking it a lot, no seriously, And I
- 37:10Speaker 2: think she was mainly but hurt about the fact that
- 37:13Speaker 2: Alexon attracted it wasn't attracted to her, And that's what
- 37:16Speaker 2: it is. Let's just call his beatis babe. Yeah, and like, look,
- 37:19Speaker 2: Alex is a dick. We know this, Like, and you know,
- 37:22Speaker 2: maybe he.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Was abuse comes out looking worse at the end. Ultimately,
- 37:28Speaker 1: it's either even or I feel like she looks a
- 37:32Speaker 1: little worse a little bit, because why are you there
- 37:34Speaker 1: just to bang him? Yeah? What are we doing here
- 37:36Speaker 1: just to humiliate him? And this is a broken man, obviously,
- 37:40Speaker 1: he's a hobo obviously.
- 37:41Speaker 2: And also, you guys have known each other for literally
- 37:43Speaker 2: five minutes. Like, it's not like you guys were together
- 37:46Speaker 2: for like ten years and you're having this monologue with
- 37:50Speaker 2: him because you've endured this whole entire relationship full of
- 37:53Speaker 2: lies and everything. It's been a month, right, Like, I
- 37:57Speaker 2: don't know whatever. I'm glad they didn't get married. I
- 38:01Speaker 2: don't really feel bad for Alex.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Okay, but you know that's how the cookie crumbles, bitch. Yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 1: but being in love and being loving Let's get to
- 38:11Speaker 1: this last couple.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Girl, Christine and Big.
- 38:15Speaker 1: It looked so handsome.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and Christine was gorgeous.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Her dress, the slit up her dress. I love it,
- 38:23Speaker 1: her hair, the coiffure. I mean, he was stunning.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Yep.
- 38:28Speaker 1: They were so wonderful. We meet Vic's mom and sister,
- 38:32Speaker 1: and here again, like a note to production, I would
- 38:36Speaker 1: have loved more exposure to these two women in particular
- 38:39Speaker 1: because they seem so lovely. Yeah, and we get this
- 38:42Speaker 1: kind of story about Vic's sister in the earlier episodes
- 38:45Speaker 1: like busting In, when his mom's getting beat by his
- 38:48Speaker 1: stepdad and the sister comes in and it's like, oh no,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you will not touch my mom. And she was presented
- 38:54Speaker 1: to us as such an interesting character, and this is
- 38:57Speaker 1: really all we got of her and the mom, which
- 39:01Speaker 1: is unfortunate because we also didn't get anything with Vic.
- 39:04Speaker 1: And with Christine having said that, I loved the vibration
- 39:09Speaker 1: of his sister and her name is escaping me right now.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I loved his mama. I loved how she was dressed,
- 39:16Speaker 1: a little fascinator she was wearing. Shit was so cute.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I just loved everything about it. And I thought I
- 39:22Speaker 1: was gonna be bored. I thought it was just gonna
- 39:23Speaker 1: be like, oh, let's just fast forward. Yep, but I
- 39:26Speaker 1: was charmed.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Beatrice literally the whole time. Like I thought I was
- 39:30Speaker 2: going to be bored too. I'm like, Okay, this is
- 39:31Speaker 2: the last couple we know that they're gonna both say yes,
- 39:34Speaker 2: like that's it, they're happy in love. But I was
- 39:37Speaker 2: like paying attention to the entire time. I don't care
- 39:39Speaker 2: about anybody else really, but like their story was just
- 39:42Speaker 2: so sweet, and even with Christine meeting Vic's sister like
- 39:47Speaker 2: this is allegedly the first time she's met her in
- 39:50Speaker 2: person was the day of their wedding, and we had
- 39:53Speaker 2: like a producer fake out preview last week of Vic's
- 39:57Speaker 2: sister being upset about that, but she wasn't, Like she
- 40:00Speaker 2: was super kind and understanding, and she was just talking
- 40:03Speaker 2: to Christine about how she had never envisioned Vic ever
- 40:07Speaker 2: doing something like this because he's such an introvert and
- 40:10Speaker 2: he's so quiet and he's such a kind hearted person.
- 40:14Speaker 2: And Christine's like, yeah, like I'm the same exact way,
- 40:18Speaker 2: and we just really connected with each other and I
- 40:21Speaker 2: really love him. He's such a beautiful person. And she's
- 40:23Speaker 2: talking to his mom and his mom just already loves her,
- 40:26Speaker 2: and I'm just like, man, y'all are so wholesome. Why
- 40:29Speaker 2: are you on this bum ass homeless show.
- 40:32Speaker 1: That's how they found each other. Though I know God
- 40:35Speaker 1: works in mysterious way, it really does. And of course
- 40:37Speaker 1: we see Vic over with his friends and family and
- 40:41Speaker 1: Christine sends him a gift. Yeah, and he opens the
- 40:45Speaker 1: gift and he's like, oh, I can't show you what
- 40:47Speaker 1: this is. And so I had to ask you what
- 40:50Speaker 1: do we think it was?
- 40:51Speaker 2: I don't know what does straight people get you? What
- 40:52Speaker 2: does a straight woman get her man for like a
- 40:55Speaker 2: sexy toy? Maybe it's lingerie.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I was gonna say it's langerie. Might like a little thong,
- 41:01Speaker 1: the thong thong thing like this is what I'm gonna
- 41:05Speaker 1: wear tonight for you be something sexual that it's gotta
- 41:09Speaker 1: be like, oh, these two are gonna throw.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I literally wrote that in my notes. Like after they
- 41:14Speaker 2: got married, I'm like they had bag and.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Sad they Oh my gosh, I hope so I hope. Yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 1: that was all really wonderful. And then Vic's mom comes
- 41:24Speaker 1: and hangs out with him and they have a cool
- 41:26Speaker 1: conversation about how Vic was a little nut so when
- 41:31Speaker 1: he was a teen and he was given his mom
- 41:33Speaker 1: some trouble and then he goes off to college and
- 41:36Speaker 1: after his first semester gone, he comes back and he's like, mom,
- 41:40Speaker 1: how did you keep on loving me? How did you
- 41:42Speaker 1: keep on supporting me? I was just an awful kid.
- 41:44Speaker 1: And his mom's like, you just don't give up on
- 41:46Speaker 1: your kids.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah, just like this is so sweet.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Tear balls.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Yes, it was very sweet. And then we have their
- 41:55Speaker 2: ultimate wedding and their vows I thought were really beautiful,
- 41:59Speaker 2: Like they were just talking about how they both see
- 42:01Speaker 2: the imperfections in each other, but they still love each
- 42:04Speaker 2: other for them and they see each other for who
- 42:06Speaker 2: they actually are, and Vix says something like, you're my woman,
- 42:11Speaker 2: you're my rib because they're both Christian.
- 42:14Speaker 1: How much, but just one rib, you're my meke Rib,
- 42:19Speaker 1: I love you.
- 42:20Speaker 2: We're laughing about it, but it's actually kind of sweet.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Certainly it's a callback to Adam and Eve. And let's
- 42:27Speaker 1: acknowledge that these are two very religious people. They're literally
- 42:31Speaker 1: Christian that are engaging in their relationship through the filter
- 42:35Speaker 1: of Christianity and Jesus Christ and stuff, right, and so
- 42:38Speaker 1: it would make sense that you would say something like
- 42:40Speaker 1: you are my rib. But then I went up on
- 42:43Speaker 1: Reddit and to the completely diabolical and chaotic subreddit of
- 42:48Speaker 1: Love is blind Netflix, I think is what this. Yeah,
- 42:51Speaker 1: they were fighting about him, really they were mad. There
- 42:55Speaker 1: were many many users who found it very misogynistic, very patriarchal,
- 42:59Speaker 1: because of course, you could argue that if you know,
- 43:02Speaker 1: God fashioned Eve out of the rib of Man, that
- 43:06Speaker 1: means she comes from man, therefore is always going to
- 43:09Speaker 1: be subordinate to man, whereas there are a bunch of
- 43:11Speaker 1: users who are like, no, when you look at the
- 43:14Speaker 1: actual meaning of the word, it's from the side of Adam.
- 43:18Speaker 1: And so it was just this big conversation about how,
- 43:21Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it was an inappropriate
- 43:24Speaker 1: thing for Vic to say, which I disagree. People are
- 43:28Speaker 1: allowed to be religious, people are allowed to be Christians,
- 43:32Speaker 1: people are allowed to be in love and say things
- 43:35Speaker 1: to their partners in a way that makes sense for them,
- 43:38Speaker 1: Like we don't always have to shit on everybody and
- 43:41Speaker 1: shit on things that are faith based or come from
- 43:44Speaker 1: a system of belief or thought that is unlike our own.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Dude, I am a whole ass lisbian, and I thought
- 43:52Speaker 2: that in case y'all didn't know, I have a whole
- 43:55Speaker 2: carpet muntre overy here. But I'm like, when he said that.
- 43:59Speaker 2: I thought that was kind of sweet because I was
- 44:01Speaker 2: looking at it from their perspective and their filter of
- 44:04Speaker 2: their Christianity and like their religion. And even Christine seemed
- 44:08Speaker 2: to think that that was super sweet and romantic because
- 44:11Speaker 2: she kind of melted at that.
- 44:13Speaker 1: She was like, Yo, Daddy, I am your She loves it.
- 44:17Speaker 1: It works for them. Why does everybody have to have
- 44:19Speaker 1: a problem with everything, Jesus Cracker, Honny.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I mean, really, I can't believe people were upset, but
- 44:26Speaker 2: I can because it is Reddit.
- 44:27Speaker 1: It's Reddit, so they're anything.
- 44:30Speaker 2: And I'm like, I think overall Christine and Vick were
- 44:33Speaker 2: the winners of this entire season.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Loved them.
- 44:35Speaker 2: They were actually the most genuine people. They were super
- 44:39Speaker 2: down to earth. They were not dram malicious, which makes
- 44:42Speaker 2: sense why they weren't in Cabo, why they weren't featured
- 44:45Speaker 2: on the Sea Snatty.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Not why they were not in Cabo, it's because of
- 44:49Speaker 1: one of their criminal history and their way that they
- 44:52Speaker 1: was talking to his mom about acting crazy as a
- 44:55Speaker 1: teenager and her really struggling to parent him. I'm just
- 44:58Speaker 1: wondering what kind of not business he got up to
- 45:01Speaker 1: as a younger man. But it doesn't matter. We all
- 45:03Speaker 1: have our past, we all do things. And here they
- 45:05Speaker 1: are at the altar, just crazy in love and I
- 45:09Speaker 1: love it for them.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I love it too.
- 45:11Speaker 1: And I was I was crying. I had moisture in
- 45:15Speaker 1: my eyes, unlike Robin Brown.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I mean real tears, real tears, genuine tears, ma'am. I
- 45:22Speaker 2: love them. I think they're sweet. They obviously are gonna
- 45:25Speaker 2: have bag big. I mean they were talking about the
- 45:31Speaker 2: hotel that they got and how you know, Christine's family
- 45:35Speaker 2: was staying there, and She's like, I don't want them
- 45:37Speaker 2: to hear anything. And Vic's like, well, they're not going
- 45:40Speaker 2: to be in the same room baby as me and you.
- 45:46Speaker 2: I love it.
- 45:48Speaker 1: They were throwing the vibe, yeh. I was catching the
- 45:50Speaker 1: vibe and he's throwing the dick dick and everything. And
- 45:54Speaker 1: I hope she's just like cracking it over. But everybody's
- 45:57Speaker 1: she is. Everybody's happy. You are fush of my Fleshney, oh,
- 46:02Speaker 1: bone of my bone. Oh yes, I love there for
- 46:06Speaker 1: it me too.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I love them.
- 46:07Speaker 1: I ship them. I hope they are happy me too.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I hope they show up to the reunion happy. I
- 46:11Speaker 1: hope they have not divorced.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Oh my god, I really hope they actually stay together,
- 46:16Speaker 2: because there was another couple a couple of seasons ago.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I can't remember their names for the life of me,
- 46:21Speaker 2: and I don't want to describe their appearance and be
- 46:23Speaker 2: offensive in the way that I describe it. Okay, but
- 46:25Speaker 2: there was a couple. Maybe I can send you a
- 46:27Speaker 2: picture and you can edit it.
- 46:28Speaker 1: In post post records people.
- 46:32Speaker 2: And I loved them because they were similar to Christine
- 46:34Speaker 2: and Vic. I thought that they were like genuinely in love.
- 46:37Speaker 2: They had a really good relationship. And I just found
- 46:39Speaker 2: out they got divorced this year. Oh no, yeah, after
- 46:42Speaker 2: like four years, and it was something stupid. They just
- 46:44Speaker 2: like broke up. I'm like, this is lame. So I
- 46:46Speaker 2: hope it doesn't happen to Christine and Vic. I wish
- 46:49Speaker 2: them nothing but the best. Yes, Then we have the
- 46:51Speaker 2: preview for the reunion, Oh yes, which is airing after
- 46:55Speaker 2: we record this podcast, so we are going to be
- 46:58Speaker 2: a little bit behind on it. But it looks lit
- 47:00Speaker 2: because we have Chris in his little hobbit body with
- 47:04Speaker 2: his greasy long hair, which I'm.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Just like, e can you not? Can we not?
- 47:09Speaker 2: With dis guy gusting? And then we have just clarifying
- 47:15Speaker 2: some things that happened, like off camera, she says that
- 47:18Speaker 2: there was a lot more behind the scenes.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I want to hear about it.
- 47:22Speaker 2: How do you get duped by that? And then I
- 47:26Speaker 2: think this might be producer fakery. But I think there
- 47:29Speaker 2: was like some conversation about Breezy saying Connor was bad
- 47:34Speaker 2: in bed or something. What I caught that, Like, I
- 47:37Speaker 2: had to rewind it a couple of times. Maybe I'm
- 47:40Speaker 2: just losing my mind making shit up.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Well, she said that she did. She said as much
- 47:45Speaker 1: to Chris Yes at the Bowling Alley, that it wasn't
- 47:48Speaker 1: the best sex of her life.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, So so I'm thinking she's clarifying that it was
- 47:53Speaker 2: really bad sex. Apparently. I hope I'm wrong.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Crazy. I want to root for you, I want to
- 48:00Speaker 1: be on your team. But if you out him like
- 48:02Speaker 1: that as a bad lover, that is a wound young
- 48:06Speaker 1: man will never get overever. I hope not. I hope
- 48:10Speaker 1: you're wrong about that.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I hope I'm wrong too. And then we have Amber
- 48:14Speaker 2: walking off the set because I think she's mad, Like
- 48:16Speaker 2: you had said at the top of the episode that
- 48:18Speaker 2: maybe Jordan did something or said something, and she walks
- 48:22Speaker 2: off the set. So I am looking forward.
- 48:26Speaker 1: To it me as well. I will be sitting. I
- 48:28Speaker 1: will be satting for the reunion me too. We're going
- 48:32Speaker 1: to come back. We are going to cover all of that.
- 48:35Speaker 1: We're also going to look over the reunion looks because
- 48:39Speaker 1: we need to have a we do a gander at
- 48:41Speaker 1: what these folks are doing. But I think this season,
- 48:43Speaker 1: I think we should give our grade now because this
- 48:46Speaker 1: was the finale, Like, what did you think? I mean,
- 48:48Speaker 1: I've seen a few seasons of Love is Blind, but admittedly,
- 48:51Speaker 1: like not all of them.
- 48:52Speaker 2: No, yeah, eh, C plus B minus. Oh really, I
- 48:56Speaker 2: don't want to be too harsh because there were some
- 48:59Speaker 2: like cringe moments that I was living for and like
- 49:02Speaker 2: there was some drums and everything and it was fine,
- 49:05Speaker 2: but like some of it was pretty boring.
- 49:08Speaker 1: You're right, and that's true. But I would give it
- 49:11Speaker 1: a higher score. Honestly, I think I'm going with a
- 49:13Speaker 1: B plus. But I wish, for example, we didn't spend
- 49:18Speaker 1: so many episodes on Emma and her scarring and her adoption,
- 49:24Speaker 1: only for it to end up being exactly what they
- 49:28Speaker 1: telegraphed the entire time about getting it was really a
- 49:31Speaker 1: waste of time. Yeah, I agree, I don't understand that
