• 0:35
Speaker 4: as he addressed the nation from the White House with
• 0:38
Speaker 4: a Christmas in New Year's message that should have every
• 0:41
Speaker 4: one of you excited. He talked about lower prices, lower
• 0:45
Speaker 4: prices on gas, lower prices on prescription drugs, lower prices
• 0:50
Speaker 4: on housing, and he also talked about the largest tax
• 0:54
Speaker 4: refund season of all time, the present, laying out what
• 0:58
Speaker 4: you can expect in twenty two twenty six, and much
• 1:01
Speaker 4: of it is what was passing the big beautiful bill
• 1:04
Speaker 4: that will now become a reality, including no tax on
• 1:07
Speaker 4: tips or social Security or over time. It's the forty
• 1:12
Speaker 4: seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 1:15
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 1:16
Speaker 4: President Donald Trump delivered a primetime of address to the nation,
• 1:19
Speaker 4: and in the nationally televised address, the President presented a
• 1:23
Speaker 4: forward looking and optimistic message about the direction of the
• 1:27
Speaker 4: country and the policies that his administration has pursued over
• 1:31
Speaker 4: the last just eleven months. To put in perspective, he
• 1:34
Speaker 4: emphasized that in the last year it has been a
• 1:37
Speaker 4: period of meaningful progress and growing strength for the United States,
• 1:42
Speaker 4: and that the best is yet to come as the
• 1:44
Speaker 4: nation moves into twenty twenty six. Now you may ask
• 1:47
Speaker 4: yourself this question, why, Well, much of what the President
• 1:51
Speaker 4: has enacted actually hasn't taken effect yet it starts in
• 1:55
Speaker 4: twenty twenty six. No tax on tips for example, time
• 2:00
Speaker 4: tax on overtime, and no tax on social Security for
• 2:03
Speaker 4: the majority of Americans will have a massive impact for
• 2:08
Speaker 4: many Americans and how much money is in their bank accounts.
• 2:12
Speaker 4: The President also talked about the incredible impact of stopping
• 2:15
Speaker 4: immigration into this country, illegal immigration, and how it's now
• 2:20
Speaker 4: actually lowering home prices and rental prices, prices that are
• 2:24
Speaker 4: expected to come down even more in twenty twenty six,
• 2:28
Speaker 4: which brings us to the key achievements and the policy
• 2:32
Speaker 4: highlights of economic growth in investment. President Trump highlighted the
• 2:37
Speaker 4: significant economic progress, including what he described as record level
• 2:41
Speaker 4: of investment that is flowing into the United States of America,
• 2:45
Speaker 4: which he has tied to job creation growth, much of
• 2:48
Speaker 4: this coming from the leverage with tariffs. He framed the
• 2:52
Speaker 4: recent policies as driving lower prices and stronger wages for
• 2:57
Speaker 4: American families. Trump referred to the current economic trajectory is
• 3:01
Speaker 4: laying the groundwork for what he cast as the greatest
• 3:04
Speaker 4: economy in history. He also did something that was truly incredible,
• 3:09
Speaker 4: a Christmas present that men and women in the military
• 3:12
Speaker 4: will never forget. As part of his holiday season message,
• 3:17
Speaker 4: he announced a one time, seventeen seventy six, that's right,
• 3:22
Speaker 4: one thousand, seven hundred and seventy six Warrior Dividend check
• 3:27
Speaker 4: to honor and support US service members that have been
• 3:31
Speaker 4: under attack by the left for many years. I mean,
• 3:35
Speaker 4: listen to President in his own words on this incredible moment.
• 3:39
Speaker 1: Along with the just past one big, beautiful bill tonight,
• 3:43
Speaker 1: I am also proud to announce that more than one thousand,
• 3:47
Speaker 1: four hundred fifty thousand, think of this, one million, four
• 3:51
Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand military service members will receive a
• 3:56
Speaker 1: special we call Warrior dividend before Christmas, a Warriort dividend
• 4:02
Speaker 1: in honor of our nations founding in seventeen seventy six,
• 4:07
Speaker 1: we are sending every soldier one thousand, seven hundred and
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: seventy six dollars.
• 4:14
Speaker 2: Think of that, and the checks are already on the way.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: Nobody understood that one until about thirty minutes ago.
• 4:22
Speaker 4: Not only was the President celebrating our men and women
• 4:25
Speaker 4: in military, but he also said that you, as an American,
• 4:29
Speaker 4: have something to celebrate coming next spring. Next spring, he says,
• 4:33
Speaker 4: it's projected to be the largest tax refund season of
• 4:37
Speaker 4: all time. Here's the President in his own words.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: Next year, you will also see the results of the
• 4:44
Speaker 1: largest tax cuts in American history that were really accomplished
• 4:49
Speaker 1: through our great, big, Beautiful Bill, perhaps the most sweeping
• 4:53
Speaker 1: legislation ever passed in Congress. We wrapped twelve different bills
• 4:58
Speaker 1: up into one beautiful bill that includes no tax on tips,
• 5:02
Speaker 1: no tax on overtime, and no tax on social security
• 5:07
Speaker 1: for our great seniors. Under these cuts, many families will
• 5:11
Speaker 1: be saving between eleven thousand and twenty thousand dollars a year,
• 5:17
Speaker 1: and next spring is projected to be the largest tax
• 5:20
Speaker 1: refund season of all time.
• 5:22
Speaker 4: Not only does the President know that you need more
• 5:24
Speaker 4: money in your pocket and the Left has been taking
• 5:27
Speaker 4: far too much of it and wasting it for far
• 5:29
Speaker 4: too long, but he also talked about healthcare, which is
• 5:33
Speaker 4: actually a very important point for many Americans. He promised
• 5:37
Speaker 4: future reductions in drug prices and improvements and affordability for
• 5:42
Speaker 4: healthcare as part of the upcoming year's agenda.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: I'm also taking on the gigantic health insurance companies that
• 5:51
Speaker 1: have gotten rich on billions of dollars of money that
• 5:54
Speaker 1: should go directly to the people. The money should go
• 5:57
Speaker 1: to the people, that's you, so they can buy their
• 6:00
Speaker 1: your own health insurance, which will give far better benefits
• 6:03
Speaker 1: at much lower costs. It will be far better health insurance.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: The current Unaffordable Care Act was created to make insurance
• 6:12
Speaker 1: companies rich. It was bad health care at much too
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: higher cost.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: And you see that now in.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: The steep increase in premiums being demanded by the Democrats.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: And they are demanding those increases, and it's their fault.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: It is not the Republican's fault. It's the Democrat's fault.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: It's the Unaffordable Care Act, and everybody knew it again.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: I want the money to go directly to the people
• 6:36
Speaker 1: so you can buy your own health care. You'll get
• 6:38
Speaker 1: much better health care at a much lower price. The
• 6:42
Speaker 1: only losers will be insurance companies that have gotten rich
• 6:45
Speaker 1: in the Democrat Party, which is totally controlled by those
• 6:48
Speaker 1: same insurance companies. They will not be happy, but that's
• 6:52
Speaker 1: okay with me, because you, the people, are finally going
• 6:55
Speaker 1: to be getting great health care at a lower cost.
• 6:58
Speaker 4: Not only will you be getting great healthcare to lower costs,
• 7:01
Speaker 4: the number one donor the Democrats in Congress have literally
• 7:05
Speaker 4: been the healthcare industry. The President then moved from that
• 7:09
Speaker 4: issue to another one, immigration and border security. President Trump
• 7:14
Speaker 4: townting enhanced border enforcement and immigration control as part of
• 7:18
  Speaker 4: his administration's accomplishments.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: Our border was open, and because of this, our country
• 7:24
Speaker 1: was being invaded by an army of twenty five million people,
• 7:28
Speaker 1: many who came from prisons and jails, mental institutions, and
• 7:33
Speaker 1: insane asylums. They were drug dealers, gang members, and even
• 7:37
Speaker 1: eleven thousand, eight hundred and eighty eight murders, more than
• 7:41
Speaker 1: fifty percent of whom killed more than one person. This
• 7:45
Speaker 1: is what the Biden administration allowed to happen to our country,
• 7:50
Speaker 1: and it can never be allowed to happen again. We
• 7:54
Speaker 1: had men playing in women's sports, transgender for everybody, crime
• 7:59
Speaker 1: at record level with law enforcement and words such as
• 8:03
Speaker 1: that just absolutely forbidden.
• 8:06
Speaker 2: We had the worst trade deals ever made.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: And our country was laughed at from all over the world.
• 8:12
Speaker 2: But they're not laughing anymore.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: Over the past eleven months, we have brought more positive
• 8:19
Speaker 1: change to Washington than any administration in American history.
• 8:25
Speaker 2: There's never been anything like it, and I think most
• 8:28
  Speaker 2: would agree.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: I was elected in a landslide, winning the popular vote
• 8:33
Speaker 1: and all seven swing states and everything else, with a
• 8:38
Speaker 1: mandate to take on a sick and corrupt system that
• 8:43
Speaker 1: xtray really just took the wealth from people and crushed
• 8:47
Speaker 1: the dreams of the American people.
• 8:49
Speaker 2: For the last four years.
• 8:51
Speaker 1: The United States was ruled by politicians who fought only
• 8:54
Speaker 1: for insiders, illegal aliens, career criminals, corporate lobby prisoners, terrorists,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: and above all, foreign nations which took advantage of US
• 9:05
Speaker 1: at levels never seen before. They flooded your cities and
• 9:09
Speaker 1: towns with illegal aliens. They decimated your hard earned savings,
• 9:14
Speaker 1: They indoctrinated your children with hate for America released.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: Really, I mean, they just released a level.
• 9:21
Speaker 1: Of violent felons that we had never seen to prey
• 9:25
Speaker 1: on innocent. They caused war, they caused mayhem, They caused
• 9:30
Speaker 1: a horrible situation all over the globe. But now you
• 9:34
Speaker 1: have a president who fights for the law abiding, hardworking
• 9:37
Speaker 1: people of our country.
• 9:39
Speaker 2: The ones who make this nation run, who make this
• 9:43
  Speaker 2: nation work.
• 9:44
Speaker 4: And not only did the President talk about immigration border security,
• 9:47
Speaker 4: he also talked about foreign policy and peace efforts. He
• 9:51
Speaker 4: underscored diplomatic progress, including his administration's role in brokering stability
• 9:56
Speaker 4: and regions of conflict and reducing global tension. These diplomatic
• 10:01
Speaker 4: themes fed into broader messaging about America's renewed international leadership
• 10:06
Speaker 4: and also what it means about security at home. Throughout
• 10:09
Speaker 4: the speech, the President framed the future with optimism, previewing
• 10:13
Speaker 4: initiatives he intends to pursue in twenty twenty six, including
• 10:17
Speaker 4: lower drug costs through the Trump RX Program, broad tax
• 10:20
Speaker 4: cuts aimed at benefiting working American families, expanded energy production
• 10:26
Speaker 4: to reduce costs for consumers, continued efforts to address housing
• 10:31
Speaker 4: affordability and rent relief, and commitment to appointing a Federal
• 10:36
Speaker 4: Reserve chair who's focused on lower interest rates to support
• 10:40
Speaker 4: economic expansion, which brings us to one thing that many
• 10:44
Speaker 4: Americans are going to love. The President also announcing some
• 10:47
Speaker 4: of the most aggressive housing reforms so that more Americans
• 10:51
Speaker 4: can get in the game, can own a house and
• 10:54
Speaker 4: not have to wait till they're much older to be
• 10:56
Speaker 4: first time home buyers.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: This in the new year, I will announce some of
• 11:00
Speaker 1: the most aggressive housing reform plans in American history. A
• 11:05
Speaker 1: major factor in driving up housing costs was the colossal
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: border invasion.
• 11:09
Speaker 2: We have never been invaded.
• 11:11
Speaker 1: This is the worst thing that Frankly, in my opinion,
• 11:15
Speaker 1: the worst thing that the Biden administration did to our
• 11:18
Speaker 1: country is the invasion at the border. The last administration
• 11:22
Speaker 1: and their allies in Congress brought in millions and millions
• 11:26
Speaker 1: of migrants and gave them taxpayer funded housing while your
• 11:29
Speaker 1: rent and housing costs kyrocketed.
• 11:32
Speaker 4: So there it is the President United States of America
• 11:34
Speaker 4: making it very clear that he believes that this next
• 11:37
Speaker 4: year is actually going to be the best year in
• 11:41
Speaker 4: our history when it comes to our economy. In this address,
• 11:45
Speaker 4: not only do spotlight our men and women in uniform,
• 11:48
Speaker 4: also making it clear we're going back to law and order.
• 11:51
Speaker 4: He wants a FED chair that will back lower interest rates.
• 11:55
Speaker 4: He wants to keep the focus on the economy, and
• 11:58
Speaker 4: also he did not bring up Venezuela. Why because clearly
• 12:02
Speaker 4: that's not the focal point of the administration. He said,
• 12:05
Speaker 4: we're bringing the economy back from ruin, and the economy
• 12:09
Speaker 4: on prices is going to be ease for you. So
• 12:13
Speaker 4: there is the president. He said, America, you're going to
• 12:16
Speaker 4: feel relief in a bountiful twenty twenty six and that
• 12:20
Speaker 4: is this President's Christmas present to every American.
