- 0:13Speaker 1: Welcome everybody to I Do Part two.
- 0:17Speaker 2: This is the podcast where we get to talk to
- 0:20Speaker 2: people about their relationships, what they got wrong, what they're
- 0:25Speaker 2: getting right, bottom line, if you got it wrong the
- 0:28Speaker 2: first time.
- 0:28Speaker 1: This is the podcast for you. And we love talking
- 0:32Speaker 1: about hope and second chances and third chances, and that's
- 0:35Speaker 1: what this is all about. And today some of your
- 0:38Speaker 1: hosts are here, Amy Roeboch and my partner, my love TJ. Holmes,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and look, we do get to talk to a lot
- 0:48Speaker 1: of people, but man, we have a very special person
- 0:52Speaker 1: to talk to today.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I had to said when they first came to us
- 0:55Speaker 3: about I Do Part two, and we said, okay, it
- 0:57Speaker 3: sounds fun. They gave us a couple of names, and
- 1:00Speaker 3: then they told us about Kelly bin Simone. I was like, okay, cool, fine,
- 1:05Speaker 3: and went back and watched her season, yes, our seasons
- 1:11Speaker 3: as a real housewife yep, and got one impression. But
- 1:16Speaker 3: then when we met her, she is absolutely one of
- 1:19Speaker 3: the highlights of agreeing to do I Do Part two.
- 1:24Speaker 3: She is just this is a compliment, Kelly, You're a hoot.
- 1:29Speaker 3: That's a compliment. Okay, she's a hoot.
- 1:32Speaker 1: She's full of life and enthusiasm, and I would just
- 1:35Speaker 1: go with this. You're passionate, Kelly, and I appreciate someone
- 1:39Speaker 1: who's invested, and that means sometimes when things are good
- 1:42Speaker 1: and sometimes when things aren't so good, but you know
- 1:45Speaker 1: exactly where you stand. And I appreciate people like that.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You don't mince words, you don't pretend, you say what
- 1:51Speaker 1: you think, and you mean what you say. And so
- 1:54Speaker 1: we like people like you.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Kelly, oh Amy, you guys are the best. I mean,
- 1:58Speaker 4: you know, I started this with you, and so I'm
- 2:02Speaker 4: actually really excited to talk to you because I've changed.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I know people are like I've changed, No, but I
- 2:08Speaker 4: genuinely and inherently feel a fundamental change, not only in
- 2:13Speaker 4: the way that I see myself, the way that I
- 2:17Speaker 4: talk about myself, but the way that I uh handle
- 2:23Speaker 4: myself with other people, and how I and the expectations
- 2:27Speaker 4: I have for myself and the expectations I have for
- 2:30Speaker 4: other people.
- 2:30Speaker 3: What prompted the change, Kelly, Uh.
- 2:34Speaker 5: It was a very cathartic moment. We've seen some very
- 2:38Speaker 5: strange things. We've seen some like Alison wonderfully, I'm like.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Ah, I cannot say that, No, but you've been really open,
- 2:45Speaker 1: You've been really open about your love journey, and we
- 2:49Speaker 1: actually are coming to you for this podcast because we
- 2:53Speaker 1: want an update. You actually had a first date in
- 2:57Speaker 1: real life. You were set up by one of our
- 3:00Speaker 1: producers here on I do Part two, and we cannot
- 3:04Speaker 1: wait to hear the details because this was weeks in
- 3:07Speaker 1: the making. Correct.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Yes, I mean we've had a lot of fun. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 4: Jenna Kramer and I have had so much fun. She
- 3:16Speaker 4: I like literally was dming movie stars with her and
- 3:21Speaker 4: new friends that we've been Cheryl Brooke has been a
- 3:24Speaker 4: really good, good new friend of mine.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I've made some other new friends on the podcast.
- 3:27Speaker 4: We've been doing all these fun and wild like antics
- 3:31Speaker 4: to meet new guys. But actually, my executive producer, she's like,
- 3:35Speaker 4: I have this great guy for you, and there's a
- 3:38Speaker 4: reason I want you to meet him, and you're gonna
- 3:41Speaker 4: tell me.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Why after you met him.
- 3:43Speaker 4: So we start talking and texting first, and then I'm
- 3:47Speaker 4: chatting on the phone for the past like two weeks.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I'm stellar human, highly educated, beautiful family, respectful to his
- 3:57Speaker 4: ex wife, really good genuine father. You guys are you
- 4:03Speaker 4: guys are great parents. You can really appreciate that. Just
- 4:07Speaker 4: a very stellar human and you know, it's interesting because
- 4:12Speaker 4: she's like, how was the date? And I was, you know,
- 4:13Speaker 4: saying we were kind of I'm gonna talk about that.
- 4:16Speaker 4: But before we even talk about the date, the thing
- 4:19Speaker 4: that for me is just so wildly important is that I,
- 4:25Speaker 4: Kelly Calaurin Ben Simone, can finally date.
- 4:29Speaker 5: A stellar human.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I have confidence to actually date someone who I respect,
- 4:37Speaker 4: and I think that is.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Something that is so new for me.
- 4:45Speaker 4: And I'm just you know, very very happy that I
- 4:48Speaker 4: got to meet mister Tennis.
- 4:49Speaker 3: You know it also Kelly called me crazy. This doesn't
- 4:53Speaker 3: sound like a transition. What you're explaining here is something
- 4:55Speaker 3: that would happen overnight. How long have you been going
- 4:58Speaker 3: through this thing? I mean, has your and tired, tired
- 5:01Speaker 3: dating life been that other Kelly who was maybe dating
- 5:05Speaker 3: someone that you shouldn't have been dating and now here
- 5:09Speaker 3: you are? But how that has to be a year's
- 5:12Speaker 3: long process to get to this point.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Well, I mean it's been really full on since I
- 5:20Speaker 4: met you guys last fall.
- 5:23Speaker 3: No, seriously, so you prompted it, you are, you know,
- 5:26Speaker 3: this is why we're here. We're here to do good work.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Seriously, and you know, it was really interesting because, like
- 5:33Speaker 4: you know, talked about how you know you met me
- 5:35Speaker 4: and you know you you know you watch my shows
- 5:38Speaker 4: and then you then you met me in real life,
- 5:40Speaker 4: and you know when I sat down with you, with
- 5:44Speaker 4: you guys for the first and I've been interviewed by
- 5:46Speaker 4: a lot of people, and I just felt immediately very
- 5:49Speaker 4: drawn to you guys, and I my my executive producer.
- 5:55Speaker 4: She was like, when you first did that interview with them,
- 5:58Speaker 4: She's like, I could tell you really want wanted to
- 6:00Speaker 4: tell you know the two of you more. But I
- 6:06Speaker 4: was just so like wound up and so guarded that
- 6:12Speaker 4: I was afraid. I mean I was even like I
- 6:14Speaker 4: wasn't even looking up the entire the entire podcast.
- 6:17Speaker 5: I'm looking down like that.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what. You know what it is, though, Kelly.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I think when you've lived a lot of your life,
- 6:24Speaker 1: or at least the life that people know of you
- 6:27Speaker 1: in front of a camera and you know you're viewed
- 6:30Speaker 1: through that lens only you know people are looking at
- 6:33Speaker 1: perhaps maybe your weakest or your least proud of moments
- 6:37Speaker 1: and defining you by that, you start defining yourself by that.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You don't feel like you're worthy, you don't feel you
- 6:42Speaker 1: can look up because people have seen you not just
- 6:45Speaker 1: at your best shining amazing self, but maybe at your
- 6:48Speaker 1: at your not your worst moment, but at your less
- 6:50Speaker 1: than best moments. And that's tough to know that they
- 6:53Speaker 1: live on and people can watch them and then form
- 6:56Speaker 1: opinions of you before they even meet you. That's that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: not a fun space to be in.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Right, And I appreciate that.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I think you never hear the good because you're not
- 7:05Speaker 4: really focusing on the good.
- 7:06Speaker 5: All you do is hear that. You know, people are like,
- 7:08Speaker 5: oh my god, you're awful, You're this, you're that.
- 7:10Speaker 4: And so I was just wildly insecure for so long
- 7:15Speaker 4: for obvious reasons.
- 7:15Speaker 5: When you spend a lot of time.
- 7:16Speaker 4: By yourself, it's not like you're like, great work, You're awesome,
- 7:20Speaker 4: good job, you know, it's like you're just like, you know,
- 7:23Speaker 4: a one man band. And you know, my ex husband
- 7:27Speaker 4: was significantly older, and we weren't, you know, we didn't
- 7:30Speaker 4: have that kind of virgin River love where you know,
- 7:34Speaker 4: you see people and they're.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Like, how is your day? I just really care about
- 7:38Speaker 5: how you feel. My exis was French. He never he
- 7:40Speaker 5: didn't even know what was he gonna say? Oh, your feelings,
- 7:43Speaker 5: how are your feelings? We never asked that.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I love that you made a Virgin River reference. I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: obsessed with that. Also, just such a false narrative of
- 7:51Speaker 1: what life is or love is. But anyway, still get
- 7:54Speaker 1: sucked into the narrative of it all. That's hilarious.
- 7:57Speaker 4: So anyway, my point is, and then from that on,
- 8:00Speaker 4: from that and you know, moving on to different dating
- 8:04Speaker 4: different people, like you know, being a television and dating
- 8:07Speaker 4: people that were not the right people for me. But
- 8:09Speaker 4: you know how in the housewives world, you know, you
- 8:12Speaker 4: guys are in the news. We're in the funny business.
- 8:15Speaker 4: So it's like, you know, people treat you because they
- 8:17Speaker 4: respect you, and they they can't wait to hear what's
- 8:21Speaker 4: coming out of your mouth. For us, it's like it's
- 8:24Speaker 4: a show, what's happening, you know whatever.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We became both Kelly just so you know, true.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And yet I thought it true true, But I mean
- 8:34Speaker 4: just for the birth, like you know, the ninety percent
- 8:37Speaker 4: is like the good news, and so I guess just
- 8:41Speaker 4: from being a part of that narrative, which was very
- 8:44Speaker 4: difficult for me to navigate and also be raising two
- 8:48Speaker 4: kids alone, I became I was around people that were
- 8:52Speaker 4: like if they liked me.
- 8:53Speaker 5: I was like, oh, they like me, of course, you know.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I wasn't like, I'm going to wait, I'm going to
- 8:57Speaker 4: kind of figure out what, you know, what are the
- 8:59Speaker 4: things that I I am looking for in my life?
- 9:02Speaker 4: And so I kind of gravitated towards those love bombers,
- 9:07Speaker 4: you know, the super fast we're going to get married tomorrow,
- 9:11Speaker 4: all of that kind of nonsense. And you know, now
- 9:14Speaker 4: we know of them as red flags, but like I
- 9:18Speaker 4: am focused on the green flags. I am focused on
- 9:21Speaker 4: all of the good news, the slow and steady wins,
- 9:24Speaker 4: the race, the stellar humans, the the.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Good the good news, like the good Bears.
- 9:30Speaker 4: I don't you know, I'm not interested in anyone who
- 9:33Speaker 4: wants to like, there's no song and dance.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I don't want you know, that's that's the past.
- 9:38Speaker 3: All right. So let's talk about mister mister green Flag.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I guess we call him mister Tennis, but he's going
- 9:43Speaker 3: to be mister green Flag as well. Only how long
- 9:46Speaker 3: were you all talking and you just met, But how
- 9:49Speaker 3: long before the meeting had you all been going back
- 9:52Speaker 3: and forth on text and film?
- 9:55Speaker 5: So two weeks?
- 9:56Speaker 4: We've been talking for about two two and a half
- 9:59Speaker 4: weeks do.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Ingen have we texting? Facetiming, no FaceTime, noaill how long
- 10:06Speaker 1: of the phone FaceTime?
- 10:08Speaker 4: I didn't want to FaceTime because I didn't want to.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I didn't want to, you know, be like, oh, I'm
- 10:15Speaker 4: going to look at him and I'm going to feel
- 10:17Speaker 4: a certain way. I just want to eat human real life,
- 10:20Speaker 4: because when you meet people in real life, it's like
- 10:22Speaker 4: the way they smell, they're the way they look, you know,
- 10:26Speaker 4: on a FaceTime it's like people's got the people on
- 10:28Speaker 4: their phones right up in their face.
- 10:29Speaker 5: You don't know what they're looking like. They're like driving
- 10:31Speaker 5: a car.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Sorry people, you know, people are doing things that are
- 10:35Speaker 4: like you're like, wait, just.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Is that his nose? What is that like?
- 10:39Speaker 4: So I just wanted to meet him in a real
- 10:42Speaker 4: way and you know, just to get take again.
- 10:46Speaker 5: I'm like all focused on.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Like taking my time, like being like I'm being very
- 10:52Speaker 4: like cool.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Okay, Well, Kelly, we know we saw the you saw
- 10:55Speaker 3: his picture. At least you knew what he looked like.
- 10:57Speaker 3: How did that compare to what showed up?
- 11:02Speaker 4: Very very similar, you know, very that is it's very
- 11:06Speaker 4: good like the cold packfish. Some you know, things like
- 11:09Speaker 4: you know, it's like the new narrative. So he looked
- 11:14Speaker 4: exactly like he did in the photos and handsome, very athletic.
- 11:23Speaker 4: He really is like a really really good tennis player,
- 11:26Speaker 4: like very very good. And I love that too, like
- 11:30Speaker 4: I love that he has like a sport that he
- 11:32Speaker 4: really loves and that's not just about like what restaurant
- 11:36Speaker 4: he went to, but more like what he's doing to
- 11:39Speaker 4: better himself, Like I love that.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Okay, so you didn't FaceTime, You just talked on the
- 11:53Speaker 1: phone and you texted and he shows up. Did you
- 11:56Speaker 1: where did you first meet? Did you meet in a
- 11:58Speaker 1: public place? Did you pick him up in the airport?
- 12:00Speaker 1: How did that all go down?
- 12:03Speaker 4: So he came to my building to meet me to
- 12:06Speaker 4: go to go to dinner, and the doorman just let
- 12:10Speaker 4: him into the hall, which they never do, and they
- 12:13Speaker 4: let him come down the hallway. I think that they
- 12:15Speaker 4: were thinking he was somebody else. I don't think that
- 12:17Speaker 4: they were thinking that he was like a date. They
- 12:20Speaker 4: were they were like, he's like, I'm here to see
- 12:21Speaker 4: Calay and they're like, oh yeah, wow, he got.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Some security concerns.
- 12:26Speaker 1: He looks so, you know, impressive that people just assumed
- 12:30Speaker 1: that he belonged there.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I'm going to try that, Kelly. As you're building, they're
- 12:34Speaker 3: going to be paparazzi shot to me in handcuffs.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Was like at my.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Door at the doorbell rang, and I'm like, no one
- 12:42Speaker 4: ever rings my doorbell.
- 12:44Speaker 5: So I was like, okay, So I opened the door
- 12:45Speaker 5: and it.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Was hit, Okay, that's awkward and awesome. What happened? What'd
- 12:49Speaker 3: you do?
- 12:50Speaker 5: I hugged him.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Oh that's awesome, that's good.
- 12:54Speaker 4: I hugged him because I was so happy to see.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Him, all right, And then what's not gonna lie?
- 12:59Speaker 5: I was taken back. I was not.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I was expecting like for me to like walk down
- 13:04Speaker 4: the hallway, give myself a little moment like and then
- 13:09Speaker 4: you know, have him like see me.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Like the big reveal. But no, he came and like
- 13:13Speaker 5: ding dong.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I was like, what wait, Kelly, wasn't that better? I
- 13:17Speaker 3: love that you were caught off the art. You didn't
- 13:19Speaker 3: have a chance to try to get yourself together and
- 13:21Speaker 3: you just answered as the big old, beautiful, bouncy, lovely Kelly.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Here I am.
- 13:29Speaker 5: That's awesome, totally totally that is me.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you, bouncy, very bouncy Yes, and that was
- 13:36Speaker 4: and I had come. You know, I was in work clothes,
- 13:39Speaker 4: so like, I mean, normally I would be like my
- 13:41Speaker 4: one of my really good friends, she was like dressed
- 13:43Speaker 4: super casual, like wear a T shirt and jeans. I'd
- 13:46Speaker 4: have time and change, and so I was like, you know,
- 13:49Speaker 4: just to work clothes.
- 13:51Speaker 5: And so we went.
- 13:53Speaker 4: We went to go have dinner at this restaurant called
- 13:56Speaker 4: the Corner Bar, and he was very polite and very
- 13:59Speaker 4: interesting to learn about, soho and you know where I
- 14:03Speaker 4: live and what I like to do, and you know,
- 14:05Speaker 4: very chatty. And on this other podcast, this woman told
- 14:10Speaker 4: me she was.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Like, I like to ask a lot of questions. And
- 14:14Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm not really like a question.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Person, Like I like to have a conversation, you know,
- 14:18Speaker 4: like you guys are asking me questions today, but normally
- 14:21Speaker 4: you just you're like how are you? And then you
- 14:22Speaker 4: just kind of organically speak. You don't sit, there's no
- 14:25Speaker 4: like waiting for the follow up question like normal life.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not like that.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You don't want to do feel like a job interview.
- 14:34Speaker 5: That's what she said.
- 14:34Speaker 4: That's what she does, she says, she does that, and
- 14:37Speaker 4: I'm just like, I'm I'm like, oh, you like red shoes?
- 14:39Speaker 4: What kind of red shoes?
- 14:40Speaker 5: Like You're like, how was your law agree? Like you
- 14:44Speaker 5: know what I mean?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Were you attracted to him at first sight? How did
- 14:48Speaker 1: he smell? How did he look?
- 14:51Speaker 5: He doesn't have a smell? I was, I was. I
- 14:53Speaker 5: thought that was like. I was like, la is probably.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Going to be like wearing some kind of like tom
- 14:56Speaker 4: Ford scent of the day.
- 14:59Speaker 1: No, like I was.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I was like, we are like ivory soap, like nothing,
- 15:05Speaker 4: like just very clean, simple like nothing. I was like, okay,
- 15:11Speaker 4: and then dressed like very you know, got like a
- 15:14Speaker 4: pool peat coat on and sneakers and like Converse sneakers
- 15:18Speaker 4: and jeans and very casual.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean his date. You know, he's a day job,
- 15:24Speaker 5: he's a lawyer.
- 15:25Speaker 4: So I think that he was coming to New York
- 15:27Speaker 4: and he wanted to be like casual and coold.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Meanwhile, I'm all dressed.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Wait, so you didn't dress, you didn't change into the
- 15:33Speaker 3: jeans and the teacherts time what wait a minute? And
- 15:37Speaker 3: when he came to the door, did you invite him
- 15:39Speaker 3: in or he had to stand outside the in the hall?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Well, my oldest, my youngest daughter was in the apartment,
- 15:45Speaker 4: so I was like.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness, I wish I had I could have
- 15:50Speaker 3: seen this scene. But you're at the dinner. What what
- 15:54Speaker 3: if you didn't interview him kind of what was the
- 15:56Speaker 3: back and forth, the conversation, a lot of laughter, where
- 15:58Speaker 3: the drink's flowing. It was an eye of how that went.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so we went to the corner bar. We're
- 16:03Speaker 4: at the bar. This was one thing that he did
- 16:05Speaker 4: and I thought was very sweet. They the bar at
- 16:08Speaker 4: the corner bar is like this highly coveted bar, and
- 16:12Speaker 4: they were going to give us two seats as you
- 16:14Speaker 4: walk in, and it was a very it's very, very
- 16:18Speaker 4: very cold in New York, and so he was like, oh, no, no, no,
- 16:21Speaker 4: I don't like those seats.
- 16:22Speaker 5: I want seats that are over there.
- 16:23Speaker 4: And so I just thought that was like he was
- 16:26Speaker 4: making an effort to create an environment that was, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 4: calm for him, but also like I wasn't sitting in
- 16:34Speaker 4: the cold, which I thought that was really sweet, because
- 16:36Speaker 4: most guys just be like, we'll sit there, those are
- 16:37Speaker 4: those are two were available, We'll.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Sit there bad complaining obviously.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Well not a good play. That's okay, but.
- 16:43Speaker 5: We are in the world right now.
- 16:44Speaker 3: But but once you got to uh, chatting it up.
- 16:48Speaker 3: What was that conversation was? Again? Was it? Could you
- 16:51Speaker 3: tell we have chemistry? You laughed? It was easy, not
- 16:55Speaker 3: an effort, Yes.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Very easy, a lot of chemistry. You know.
- 17:02Speaker 4: I could tell that he really liked me. We just
- 17:05Speaker 4: get along really well. We were talking and we're having
- 17:08Speaker 4: fun talking and I and he even said he was
- 17:11Speaker 4: like he has two children, younger children, and he said
- 17:14Speaker 4: the one thing about me that he was he was
- 17:16Speaker 4: nervous that I wasn't going to show up, that he
- 17:19Speaker 4: was going to fly to New York and that I
- 17:22Speaker 4: was going to you know, that he was gonna like
- 17:24Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna I wasn't gonna be available.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Wow, And did he come just to meet you? He
- 17:30Speaker 1: didn't have business in New York?
- 17:32Speaker 4: Well, he had a meeting on Friday morning that he arranged.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Okay, but he made the meeting because he wanted to
- 17:38Speaker 1: meet you. The trip was to go and meet you.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And he was there all weekend. Yes, all right, So
- 17:45Speaker 1: what did you do? Like, that's a lot of pressure.
- 17:47Speaker 1: It's your hometown. So what did you guys do for
- 17:50Speaker 1: the weekend? And yes, it is really cold in New York.
- 17:52Speaker 1: We can attest to that.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so really cold in New York. We just walked around,
- 17:57Speaker 4: you know, we went to a really fun mart. We
- 17:58Speaker 4: had the rest, you know, we were at the restaurant.
- 18:00Speaker 4: It was really fun. And then he's also very chatty
- 18:04Speaker 4: with other people, which I liked. Like there was someone
- 18:07Speaker 4: that was talking to like, hey, Kellen, he was like, oh, yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 4: we take your picture. He wasn't like, you know, a
- 18:11Speaker 4: jerk and was like why is he taking your photo?
- 18:14Speaker 4: Like that's so awkward, or like saying things like don't
- 18:18Speaker 4: you hate that? I when guys say don't you hate that,
- 18:21Speaker 4: I'm like, that's part of my job. I thought that
- 18:24Speaker 4: was very like easy cool. So the things that normally
- 18:28Speaker 4: guys would do he did not do.
- 18:30Speaker 5: He was very easy going. And just the conversation that
- 18:33Speaker 5: he was having.
- 18:34Speaker 4: He's like, he's like, well, when I when I'm dropping
- 18:36Speaker 4: my daughter off, but you know, lessons you know I
- 18:39Speaker 4: can talk to you about like oh my god, you know,
- 18:42Speaker 4: the traffic was crazy and you know she was upset
- 18:45Speaker 4: and she was doing this and this was happening, and.
- 18:48Speaker 5: He's like, you just didn't you were you were never like.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Oh my god, call me back in thirty two seconds
- 18:53Speaker 4: I was like, oh, you know, call me back when
- 18:54Speaker 4: you're done. And you know, sometimes if I say I'm
- 18:56Speaker 4: going to call you back, it could be five minutes,
- 18:58Speaker 4: it could be four hours. And he was just is
- 19:02Speaker 4: very cool about that, and he was very he liked
- 19:05Speaker 4: that I was easy going about that as well. He
- 19:07Speaker 4: said that he said that being a single dad is
- 19:09Speaker 4: difficult because a lot of women take that, you know,
- 19:15Speaker 4: time away as being you know, like inconsiderate towards them.
- 19:20Speaker 4: And I just think, like, people are busy, and I
- 19:23Speaker 4: know he'll be like, hey, I'll text you or.
- 19:27Speaker 5: So there was that, there was that, there was there
- 19:29Speaker 5: was that kind of bond.
- 19:30Speaker 4: That we like had as well about just being easy
- 19:33Speaker 4: going with each other and.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Not be.
- 19:36Speaker 5: So demanding.
- 19:37Speaker 1: All right, so when you said goodbye for the evening,
- 19:39Speaker 1: if you said goodbye for the evening, I don't want
- 19:41Speaker 1: to assume or presume anything, but was there a kiss. Yes,
- 19:46Speaker 1: it's like soft.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Lips, yeah, very very like sweet.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Also like I'm not the kind of person like listen,
- 19:54Speaker 4: different people are different people do different things.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Like again, like I heard the river.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I was watching the scene last night with this girl
- 20:00Speaker 4: like hops on top of the bar and like like
- 20:03Speaker 4: jumps on top of Preacher and like starts making out
- 20:06Speaker 4: with him.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Like I am not that kind of person. I'm very like, I'm.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Like, if you want to you touched my hand, I'm like,
- 20:14Speaker 4: oh that was nice.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Another Virgin River reference.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Yes, I don't get any of these reverences.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I know Preacher, Yeah, I know, I know that scene.
- 20:24Speaker 3: He would never Preacher Preacher creature.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Preacher is one of the characters. He's the bar, he's
- 20:29Speaker 1: he's the guy who runs the bar in the kitchen. Yes,
- 20:33Speaker 1: Jack's restaurant.
- 20:33Speaker 4: But anyway, right, so, and he's you know, I am
- 20:38Speaker 4: not an assertive person like that.
- 20:39Speaker 5: I will not. You know, my friend Luanne, she's like
- 20:42Speaker 5: she was giving me tips on.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Dating, and she's like, put your napkin on fire, send
- 20:47Speaker 4: a note to the bar, to the to your waiter
- 20:51Speaker 4: that you think that guy's hot.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Like these are things I would not.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I would never do that either.
- 20:56Speaker 5: First, anything on fire now.
- 20:57Speaker 4: But she's like, yeah, I just make a little sea
- 21:00Speaker 4: and I'm like, I'm five ten, Like you cannot miss
- 21:03Speaker 4: me in a restaurant.
- 21:04Speaker 3: You are the scene, Gilly, Yes you are.
- 21:06Speaker 5: No, No, I mean that I didn't feel like that.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I'm water if you miss me.
- 21:12Speaker 3: You're like, you know, you know what is but you
- 21:15Speaker 3: you had the date that night, but was there any
- 21:16Speaker 3: other date time? Did you have a second date? He
- 21:20Speaker 3: was there for the weekend, right, So what else did
- 21:22Speaker 3: you do besides the dinner that night? Did you take
- 21:24Speaker 3: him somewhere in the morning?
- 21:26Speaker 4: Okay, So we went after the After the restaurant, we
- 21:29Speaker 4: went to this really fun bar for Las, which is
- 21:31Speaker 4: like the best bar, cool scene, like everyone's having a
- 21:34Speaker 4: great time.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Like the bartender who I know, She's like, he's the
- 21:37Speaker 5: answ on, He's so cute.
- 21:39Speaker 4: And she was asking all about La, and everyone in
- 21:41Speaker 4: the whole bar was talking to him about La, and
- 21:45Speaker 4: it was just he was having a lot of fun.
- 21:46Speaker 5: He was having a lot of fun.
- 21:48Speaker 4: And then uh, he walked me home and he gave
- 21:50Speaker 4: me another little kiss and then but it was polite.
- 21:54Speaker 4: It was like very like polite and like well done.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Like if he had stuck his tongue down my throat,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I probably would have.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Been like, ew, what are you doing?
- 22:04Speaker 6: Ew?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Yeah, total like I would have been like what are
- 22:07Speaker 4: you doing? And then the next morning he texted me
- 22:09Speaker 4: He's like what are you doing. I'm like, I'm going
- 22:11Speaker 4: to dance bodie. He's like, okay, I'm going to pick
- 22:14Speaker 4: you up and I'm going to walk you there. And
- 22:17Speaker 4: he walked me to my exercise class and then went
- 22:21Speaker 4: to have a He went to have brunch at Square
- 22:24Speaker 4: Diner and then met me and then we walked home
- 22:28Speaker 4: and I had to work again, and then he met
- 22:31Speaker 4: me later on and we had like a little lunch
- 22:34Speaker 4: like a salad at sant Ambrose and we just walked around.
- 22:37Speaker 4: And then he wanted to get tennis sneakers because I
- 22:39Speaker 4: told him when he came, because he's a tennis player,
- 22:40Speaker 4: I said, you should definitely play tennis at Vanderbilt. You
- 22:44Speaker 4: have to play tennis there. It's the coolest, coolest court.
- 22:47Speaker 4: So he got tent He was like, I need to
- 22:49Speaker 4: get tennis shoes. So we went to the Wilson store
- 22:51Speaker 4: on Broadway and he's like, what are you telling you about?
- 22:55Speaker 5: What is going on here?
- 22:56Speaker 4: They have a tennis court in the back of the store,
- 23:00Speaker 4: which we discovered, so we're like literally playing tennis.
- 23:03Speaker 5: He taught me how to throw football.
- 23:06Speaker 4: We were like, you know, shooting basketball. It was really
- 23:09Speaker 4: like fun. I felt like I was on the Bachelor.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I was like, wait a minute.
- 23:12Speaker 3: This is like, Kelly, this is cool. We've gotten to
- 23:16Speaker 3: know you a little bit. And yes, as you described
- 23:20Speaker 3: our first meeting in that first episode we taped, we agree.
- 23:23Speaker 3: But you are on fire right now looking at you,
- 23:27Speaker 3: and the folks can hear it in your voice. I'm sure,
- 23:29Speaker 3: but you are excited as well. You should look at her.
- 23:33Speaker 3: She looks smitten. That's the word. You look smitten. And
- 23:40Speaker 3: you should stay there until further notice.
- 23:43Speaker 1: That's nice because it could have been awkward. It could
- 23:46Speaker 1: have gone sideways. You could have realized there was no chemistry.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So this is like, it sounds like best case scenario.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Do you what I've got a question in here again?
- 23:55Speaker 5: Not that night?
- 23:56Speaker 1: You went out again that night? Oh that's awesome. Whoa Okay, continue.
- 24:03Speaker 4: We were not up that night and we went to
- 24:05Speaker 4: this really great restaurant, was a big restaurant, so fun.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Then we went to this this bar that was next door.
- 24:11Speaker 4: My daughter was like, Mom, you took him to this place.
- 24:13Speaker 4: He's gonna love it, and it like makes you look
- 24:15Speaker 4: really cool.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Hey, what place is this? Can we ask?
- 24:18Speaker 6: You know?
- 24:19Speaker 5: Kyu? And then went to temple bar afterwards.
- 24:21Speaker 3: We're not cool? I know k I've heard a Temple Bar.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yes, Temple Bar, yes, but.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Kyu is like it's like Korean fried chicken, it's a cauliflower.
- 24:31Speaker 5: It's amazing and a very cool vibe.
- 24:33Speaker 4: So we were there, We're having so much fun, and
- 24:35Speaker 4: like we both were like we'd like we like like
- 24:38Speaker 4: to you know, he likes to listen to like different
- 24:41Speaker 4: conversations that people are having, and I'm like that too,
- 24:43Speaker 4: and I'm like it's like chatting. We're like talking to
- 24:51Speaker 4: each other, but we're talking about the people next to us.
- 24:53Speaker 4: And it was really He's very fun. He's a really
- 24:55Speaker 4: fun guy. And then we went to Temple Bar and
- 24:58Speaker 4: he walked me home again and we had little kids
- 25:00Speaker 4: and then he was like, I you know, I wish
- 25:04Speaker 4: you would come over and hang out and watch TV.
- 25:07Speaker 1: And I was like, nope, not yet.
- 25:10Speaker 3: And he was at a hotel.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Yeah, he was staying in a really nice hotel.
- 25:14Speaker 4: But I'm like, I'm not that's not like again, like
- 25:18Speaker 4: I'm not that kind of I'm just not like that.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I just i mean, even.
- 25:21Speaker 4: If I'm like super super super, you know, this guy's
- 25:25Speaker 4: a really you know spect I said, he's a stellar human.
- 25:28Speaker 4: So it's like I'm not going to screw it up
- 25:30Speaker 4: by being like, oh my god, let me go hang
- 25:32Speaker 4: out in here, you know, kiss you and be like weird,
- 25:35Speaker 4: and then like have it be weird and like I'm
- 25:37Speaker 4: taking my time, like's god, I love that on my timeline.
- 25:41Speaker 5: I'm not on anyone else.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Are there plans for a second date? Are you going
- 25:44Speaker 1: to come out to California? What? How did you guys
- 25:47Speaker 1: leave it?
- 25:48Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, that would be great.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I would love to come out to California and say
- 25:52Speaker 4: hi to him and see how he is and see
- 25:54Speaker 4: his real life. And it's interesting because my friends were
- 25:56Speaker 4: because they were they were like, have you ever done,
- 25:58Speaker 4: you know, had a long distance relationship? And I've never
- 26:01Speaker 4: dated anyone long distance and never dated anyone that wasn't
- 26:04Speaker 4: that was so far that was far away period or
- 26:06Speaker 4: like out of the same city.
- 26:09Speaker 5: And so.
- 26:11Speaker 4: It was just interesting to hear him, to hear him
- 26:15Speaker 4: kind of like try to figure out like how we
- 26:19Speaker 4: were going to date, how we were going to meet up,
- 26:21Speaker 4: where we're going to meet up. And then all the
- 26:23Speaker 4: advice for my friends are like, well, you guys could
- 26:25Speaker 4: meet you know, in Chicago, and I'm like, I don't
- 26:27Speaker 4: want to be in a relationship where we're constantly on vacation,
- 26:31Speaker 4: like I want to be in real life. I want
- 26:33Speaker 4: to see like I want to walk around like Century
- 26:35Speaker 4: City and like I want to I don't.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Know, and it's winter. We don't want to meet anybody
- 26:40Speaker 3: in Chicago right now. It's no good, Kelly.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I was thinking more like Miami, New Orleans.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Kelly is you can't let me.
- 26:49Speaker 4: I know.
- 26:50Speaker 3: He just just left, so you just saw him, but
- 26:53Speaker 3: there's not a plan yet. Do you'll have a tentative plan,
- 26:56Speaker 3: like for sure the next time you see each other
- 26:58Speaker 3: will be you.
- 26:59Speaker 5: In La right, That's what he said.
- 27:01Speaker 4: He wants to do that, and you know I and
- 27:04Speaker 4: he was like I want to you know, He's like
- 27:05Speaker 4: I want to do things that we can like have
- 27:07Speaker 4: things to talk about. So I was like, let's read
- 27:09Speaker 4: the same book and we can chat about it and
- 27:11Speaker 4: just try to like have like just a different narrative
- 27:15Speaker 4: versus like, how is your day?
- 27:16Speaker 5: I have no idea what you're talking about? Oh, how
- 27:18Speaker 5: is your day?
- 27:18Speaker 4: I have no idea talking about? Like I just wanted
- 27:20Speaker 4: to have like some kind of conversations that were like
- 27:23Speaker 4: about things that we're doing versus what everyone else is doing.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Kelly says, have you seen that last episode of
- 27:30Speaker 3: Virgin River? He says, no, I haven't.
- 27:32Speaker 1: He should want, Kelly, you and I could do a
- 27:34Speaker 1: Virgin River club. I would love to dissect that. It's
- 27:39Speaker 1: funny though it's such a girl I'm sure guys out
- 27:42Speaker 1: there like it too, but it's such a girl thing.
- 27:44Speaker 6: It's very funny.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I have here. Do you already have pet names for
- 27:57Speaker 1: one another?
- 27:59Speaker 5: I told I told him that he was Trouble.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Wow, his name's Trouble.
- 28:04Speaker 3: That's not a good name.
- 28:05Speaker 5: And he called me Malibu.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Malibu is cute. I like that.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Why Trouble like.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Malibu Barbie, even though I'm Burnette. Okay, you're more Malabo
- 28:16Speaker 5: than I have.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm Robes. TJ gave me a pet name or a nickname,
- 28:21Speaker 1: like it's Robes. My name is Amy Roboch. But he's
- 28:25Speaker 1: the only one who called me Robes. He called me
- 28:27Speaker 1: Robes on the air when we were at ABC News together.
- 28:29Speaker 1: He just he never called me by my first name ever.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I cannot remember.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I never saw you as a Barbie. She's she's tall,
- 28:38Speaker 3: that's right.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I'm only five to five, Kelly.
- 28:43Speaker 3: What do we Oh my goodness, this sounds so exciting
- 28:47Speaker 3: about the guy if you were giving you came on,
- 28:49Speaker 3: You've been a celebrity mentor to a lot of people
- 28:51Speaker 3: that that we've had on and who are trying to
- 28:54Speaker 3: find love. What have you now learned through your ex
- 29:00Speaker 3: experience that you're really ready to pass on because you
- 29:02Speaker 3: were giving advice earlier on before you kind of came around,
- 29:07Speaker 3: before you became the whole, new, full, new Kelly. So
- 29:11Speaker 3: what advice now are you able to give given the
- 29:16Speaker 3: new Kelly and the new experience that you're going through.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Well, it's just it's interesting because I've been doing so
- 29:22Speaker 4: much talking about relationships and so with him, I talked
- 29:28Speaker 4: a lot about relationships, and he really liked that. He
- 29:33Speaker 4: liked hearing He likes talking about his relationships. I think
- 29:37Speaker 4: that he appreciated that I was open to hearing about
- 29:40Speaker 4: whatever he wanted to share with what he was doing
- 29:44Speaker 4: and what he was going on with him. Like, I
- 29:46Speaker 4: think that that is something that's new to me. I mean,
- 29:49Speaker 4: I'm not I've never been the person that's like, tell
- 29:51Speaker 4: him about your ex, can't wait to hear all about her.
- 29:53Speaker 5: I'm like, I don't care. Like I literally was like
- 29:56Speaker 5: I did not care.
- 29:58Speaker 4: And I just been a dated you know, men who
- 30:01Speaker 4: have had such wild exes that like, I really have
- 30:05Speaker 4: zero interest in hearing about people's exes.
- 30:10Speaker 5: But I I asked him.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Because I just was like, you know what, I'm not
- 30:13Speaker 4: going to be that person. I'm not going to be
- 30:14Speaker 4: closed off. I'm not going to be judgmental. You know,
- 30:17Speaker 4: everybody has everybody has people in their in their orbit.
- 30:22Speaker 4: And I also, just like I said at the beginning,
- 30:26Speaker 4: you know, the top of this just about how like
- 30:28Speaker 4: I just have more self respect, and so it's easy
- 30:31Speaker 4: to say to somebody, oh, you have an ex, I'm
- 30:33Speaker 4: sure she's so stupid and ugly. Like I used to say, like,
- 30:37Speaker 4: oh my god, your ex wife, she's so skinny, she
- 30:40Speaker 4: hasn't eaten since the ice age. I think those are
- 30:43Speaker 4: the things that I used to say, which are awful,
- 30:46Speaker 4: and I don't want to say those anymore.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I love that.
- 30:48Speaker 5: I just don't want to have that narrative.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Well, it's about you. It's not about their past. It's
- 30:51Speaker 1: not about comparing. It's not about the comparison or the
- 30:54Speaker 1: contrast of what he had versus where he is now
- 30:57Speaker 1: and all of that, and that's incredible growth I'm curious.
- 31:01Speaker 5: I was interesting.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I'm not going to interrupt you, and I apologize to you,
- 31:04Speaker 4: but it's interesting that because I didn't come to when
- 31:08Speaker 4: we were talking about his exes or what he was
- 31:11Speaker 4: doing with his life, because I didn't come with like
- 31:15Speaker 4: defensiveness or negativity. There was just like a conversation, Yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 4: like you and I having a conversation versus like, you know,
- 31:24Speaker 4: me being like competing with someone I don't even know.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Does that make sense? Yeah, I feel like that's what happens.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Or feeling threatened by someone who seems like they have
- 31:32Speaker 1: it all together. Stranger right, A stranger.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Right correct, and we don't know anything.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Like they have their relationship, but their relationship is their relationship,
- 31:41Speaker 4: and my relationship with him is my relationship, and I
- 31:43Speaker 4: just want to keep that.
- 31:47Speaker 5: However, you know how it is.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I have a question for you, Kelly, for people who
- 31:50Speaker 1: are listening, for folks who are listening and they are
- 31:52Speaker 1: just starting off, maybe they're they're in your boat, they're
- 31:55Speaker 1: they've just started to date someone new and they really
- 31:58Speaker 1: like them. How often do you text them? How often
- 32:01Speaker 1: do you call them? How often do you like do
- 32:04Speaker 1: you wait before you return the text? Are you still
- 32:07Speaker 1: playing little games or are you just being vulnerable and
- 32:10Speaker 1: open and sharing your feelings or are you withhold Like
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm just curious. So that's always the dance. People don't
- 32:16Speaker 1: know what to do and what the right thing is
- 32:19Speaker 1: and what what would be a turn off, what would
- 32:21Speaker 1: be a turn on? Are is that all in your
- 32:22Speaker 1: head or are you just going with your well?
- 32:24Speaker 4: I mean, of course it is like, like, you know,
- 32:27Speaker 4: I'm a single female. I've been single, you know, for
- 32:29Speaker 4: fifteen years, so I and you know, it's interesting because
- 32:35Speaker 4: most people are like, oh my god, you've been single
- 32:36Speaker 4: so long, You're just a player.
- 32:37Speaker 5: I'm like, no, no, no, no, not a player. That's one
- 32:40Speaker 5: thing I'm not.
- 32:42Speaker 4: I'm just very like whatever I feel like if I
- 32:45Speaker 4: feel like calling you, I feel like texting you. I
- 32:48Speaker 4: mean I was like thinking I was just because it
- 32:50Speaker 4: was so nice. I wanted to write him like a
- 32:51Speaker 4: little thank you note, just thanking him for you know,
- 32:54Speaker 4: I'm just a very open and like, I'm very like loving,
- 33:01Speaker 4: but that does not mean that I'm in love, do
- 33:04Speaker 4: you know what I mean? Like I'm just a jet
- 33:05Speaker 4: I'm just a very love loving person. So I just,
- 33:10Speaker 4: you know, I text him things but I'm also, you know,
- 33:14Speaker 4: dating other people, so it's not like he's the only
- 33:16Speaker 4: person that I'm dating, and I just want to be
- 33:20Speaker 4: open to myself and to my new journey.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Why he's not the only one you're dating? But why
- 33:28Speaker 3: is he the only one we're talking about? Kelly?
- 33:30Speaker 4: You know why you know what we're talking about him
- 33:32Speaker 4: because my executive producer set me up with her best
- 33:37Speaker 4: friend's brother.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Okay, but is this guy? Is he the Is he
- 33:41Speaker 3: a front runner? Though? Kelly? Is he a front runner
- 33:43Speaker 3: and all the guy?
- 33:44Speaker 4: That's my point, that's my point, Like he is someone
- 33:46Speaker 4: that I'm being introduced to by someone that I respect,
- 33:51Speaker 4: and so I am definitely giving this person, you know,
- 33:57Speaker 4: like open eyes, like you know, let's see what happens.
- 34:01Speaker 5: You know, It's not like I don't feel need to be.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Guarded because I am interested in him and I and
- 34:08Speaker 4: he's already been vetted, so there's a trust. Whereas everybody
- 34:12Speaker 4: else at I'm meeting, I don't necessarily know them or
- 34:16Speaker 4: I know them kind of through someone.
- 34:19Speaker 3: You know.
- 34:19Speaker 4: The last guy that I was dating was younger, and
- 34:22Speaker 4: he was very sweet, but he was like love bombing
- 34:24Speaker 4: me and saying like after like the first date, he
- 34:26Speaker 4: was like, we're getting married.
- 34:28Speaker 5: You're my person, which was very.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Kind and I appreciate that. But you know, his actions,
- 34:36Speaker 4: you know, actions speak louder than words, and so you
- 34:39Speaker 4: can just say how much you love me, but if
- 34:40Speaker 4: you're not like making plans, making you know, trying to
- 34:43Speaker 4: make situations, doing stuff that does not that does not
- 34:48Speaker 4: make me feel like you're in love with me and
- 34:49Speaker 4: you want to get married to me. So I'm like
- 34:52Speaker 4: learning my lessons slowly, but surely I'm going to make
- 34:54Speaker 4: a lot of mistakes. You guys, I'm going to fall
- 34:56Speaker 4: through a lot of holes, so you might have to
- 34:58Speaker 4: pull me out.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Sounds like you're doing great. I sounds like you're doing great, Kelly.
- 35:03Speaker 3: My only my last thing is how does he feel
- 35:05Speaker 3: about dating you? With you telling your entire dating story
- 35:11Speaker 3: essentially to the public.
- 35:13Speaker 5: So I asked him that, I said, what is it?
- 35:15Speaker 4: How do you feel about He was like that, He
- 35:17Speaker 4: was like, that's.
- 35:18Speaker 5: I think that's amazing.
- 35:20Speaker 1: That's great.
- 35:21Speaker 4: And he there's a lot of confidence too, And that's
- 35:23Speaker 4: another thing, Like he has a lot of confidence.
- 35:26Speaker 5: You know, he's not intimidated by what I'm doing. He
- 35:30Speaker 5: just is happy for me. And excited for me to you.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Know, he just said to he said to me, it's like,
- 35:35Speaker 4: I'm just so happy to have met you, which is
- 35:37Speaker 4: so nice.
- 35:38Speaker 1: That's a very sweet thing to say. And it sounds
- 35:41Speaker 1: like he followed up with actions exactly.
- 35:43Speaker 4: And actions speak louder than words. So to answer Amy,
- 35:47Speaker 4: what you're what your your question? Actions speak louder than words.
- 35:50Speaker 4: And I feel like if you like someone, you know,
- 35:53Speaker 4: I mean, I wouldn't be sending like heart emojis every
- 35:55Speaker 4: two seconds, but you know, thinking of you or you know,
- 36:00Speaker 4: hope you meeting went well or but not like what
- 36:03Speaker 4: we do tomorrow? Gun your coffee, I can pick you
- 36:05Speaker 4: up Like that would make me. I mean that would
- 36:08Speaker 4: scare anyone, you know, like, oh my god, what if
- 36:11Speaker 4: it hasn't been made clear?
- 36:12Speaker 3: Fellas do not love bomb Kelly Ben Simo, Okay, right.
- 36:17Speaker 4: You know when you're like in school and you're like
- 36:19Speaker 4: writing down.
- 36:20Speaker 5: And you're like, Kelly, love this is like I'm in
- 36:26Speaker 5: my fifties.
- 36:27Speaker 4: I can't be doing you know, It's like you have
- 36:28Speaker 4: to be like, like be open to like everything.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Kelly. I suspect that when you were a kid in
- 36:33Speaker 3: school you didn't do that either. You weren't writing little notes,
- 36:36Speaker 3: Kelly love it just studn't.
- 36:38Speaker 1: See she watches Virgin Rivers.
- 36:41Speaker 5: That's my bad die Hard romance.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Yeah, we love love. I well, when you told me
- 36:47Speaker 1: you watch Virgin River, I know, well, Kelly, we are
- 36:54Speaker 1: so happy for you, and I know everyone listening is
- 36:57Speaker 1: excited too, because it's one of those when you hear
- 37:00Speaker 1: something good happen for someone else, someone who's been searching,
- 37:03Speaker 1: someone who's been single deliberately for fifteen years, finding something
- 37:07Speaker 1: that could lead to something, that there's that little spark,
- 37:10Speaker 1: that little excite. It's it's hope for everyone else too.
- 37:13Speaker 1: That yes, it's never too late.
- 37:16Speaker 4: It's and I totally agree with that, Amy, and I
- 37:18Speaker 4: appreciate that. And it's also like you know, I always
- 37:21Speaker 4: talk about like there's like two kinds of energy. There's
- 37:23Speaker 4: kinetic and there's frenetic. And when like something good happens,
- 37:26Speaker 4: more good things aren't going to happen.
- 37:29Speaker 5: And so whether it's mister Tennis.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Or mister soccer or whomever, I just feel like he
- 37:36Speaker 4: is such a He's really he's such a I will
- 37:40Speaker 4: I will if whether we end up together or we
- 37:42Speaker 4: don't end up together. I'm just very grateful for what
- 37:47Speaker 4: happened over the weekend because it's really been good for
- 37:50Speaker 4: me and just so healthy and I've never felt like
- 37:54Speaker 4: healthy in an emotional romantic space before.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Oh Kelly. That really we are huge fans of yours,
- 38:01Speaker 3: not because of anything you did on TV, but when
- 38:03Speaker 3: you walked into that iHeart studio in Manhattan, we just
- 38:07Speaker 3: fell in love with you. From the GEU were vulnerable
- 38:10Speaker 3: with us and we did dode. I think you got
- 38:13Speaker 3: comfortable with us and we were comfortable with you and
- 38:15Speaker 3: it all worked out. But we just adore you and
- 38:17Speaker 3: appreciate any time we get to spend So congrats to
- 38:20Speaker 3: you and mister Tennis. And it sounds like there's a
- 38:22Speaker 3: mister soccer, mister golf, of mister Badminton. It may be
- 38:25Speaker 3: a mister basketball. But whatever, whatever you're doing, enjoy your
- 38:27Speaker 3: dating time, Kelly.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Oh, oh Kelly, thank you.
